I'm 77 and my partner is 85. We felt that driving was a high-risk situation for us and the reason why I went with AmeriFreight was that $700 possibility. But I didn't quite understand that that would be off-season. The probability was very small that the $700 quote would be in-season. You go into a casino hoping to win and you go with the lowest possibility of $700 to get 1,600 miles down to Florida. But at a certain time of year, the probability is far greater that you're going with the top dollar. That wasn't clear. What I thought from what AmeriFreight wrote and from the person I dealt with was that we could go out there at $700 and see who would bid it. But nobody did. We were wanting to get down here a certain time because we had non-refundable airline tickets. And the fact was that we were looking at a time in October when people were starting to ship down for the snowbirds.

I bought a vehicle from across country and had it shipped to me through AmeriFreight. The lady was very responsive. AmeriFreight's customer service is really good. I could always get in touch with them. It's just that they could never get a hold of the broker, that was shipping the car, in a timely manner. When I asked if they got the car the broker was impossible to get a hold of. It took a couple days for them to even give a response. I only got a callback when AmeriFreight tried to reach out to them. I got a call back a day or two later saying, "Hey, here it is." But every time I tried to call the broker directly, there was no answer.

I was moving a vehicle from East Coast to West Coast where I’m currently living and since I had used AmeriFreight four-ish years ago for a similar route with a different vehicle, I went straight to them. With the first time, I went through a few different options on the website and it still worked but this time, their website has improved a lot. It was a lot easier to navigate as far as trying to check and make sure that they’re still decent. The service provider I got was also very prompt. They were prompt last time as well but this time, he called me back within 24 hours with a carrier option. He was also able to advise me based off of the patterns for the season as far as if there was a good likelihood where we would get additional options and what the price range would be within those options.

Since I was moving back home, I needed to ship my car from California to Georgia. I called three different people and I saw five different companies on the internet. The guy from AmeriFreight was very upfront and informative. He told me how it was and how it was done. He also informed me on how the system works. And as with the other company, he kinda warned me on what they would do.

My initial estimate was for $1063. This was for the "economy" pricing. I actually read the terms and understood that there was around a 35% chance of this price happening as it is contingent upon carriers basically filling empty space on an existing run. Based on that, I planned on paying a bit more to get my vehicle moved. Richard did a great job of keeping me in the loop while finding a carrier to transport my RX-7 from Kansas to Oregon. I took a couple offers from carriers either coming in way overestimated price ($1400) or wanting to pick up the next day or in a few hours from initial contact before we found one that worked.

We just moved from West Coast to the East Coast and needed to ship our vehicle. We went to AmeriFreight because of the price. And while the original quote was fine, it bumped up about 40%. It went up towards what the other quotes were and I fully understood why so I'm not complaining. Everything went smoothly with our transport organizer, Danielle. And although I haven't given any money, I was committed. I've never done it before so having the car transported properly in a timely fashion was more of the issue than anything else and it worked out great.

She was very knowledgeable and came back in the right amount of time to get me what I needed. Our interactions with the carrier driver during pick-up and delivery made our experience the best. All the rep did was set up the move but the gentleman that AmeriFreight used to transport the vehicle down here was fantastic. He met us and delivered the car in great shape. The quote we were given didn’t change too. The shipping process took three days. The whole experience was something that I would highly recommend. After reading a lot of reviews about this business itself, I know that you can have good experiences and bad ones. I had a good one.

AmeriFreight gave me the most reasonable price, while the other companies are charging $1,500 or more. And with AmeriFreight, I found someone to take the car the day after I called. The rep who organized the shipment called me ahead of time and I just gave the car to the guy. He went over the car and made sure he wrote down if it had scratches or anything. And then, he put the car in and gave me the paper for me to sign. They got the car delivered around the day they said they were gonna get there and it arrived exactly how it left.

My boss goes back and forth to the East Coast every summer and she takes her car with her, so we needed it to be shipped back. Our previous transport company was way more expensive, so she wanted me to research. I found AmeriFreight and their initial quote turned out to be a little over what we paid, but it was understandable. It was also the lowest quote we got and the car arriver in good condition. Moreover, the rep we dealt with was just terrific. She kept on checking back with us, but didn't check back with us too much. She was on-the-ball. And the carrier driver spoke English. It's always easier when they speak English.

She went above and beyond and she made sure that I was taken care of. She had the personality that you could easily talk to and I felt comfortable shipping my car with them. Everything was fine with the delivery and the first one was quick. It was within three days. The second time, it took them over a week which was okay.

I had a conversation with the AmeriFreight representative who was very helpful and I liked the idea of them acting as an intermediary. However, AmeriFreight's quote was not close to what I actually ended up paying and there was a bit of a breakdown in my interactions with the carrier driver.

He explained all the quotes and all the options. He got me a truck the next day, and he communicated with me through the whole process all the way up to delivery. The carrier driver was fantastic. He picked the car up and I met him up here in Illinois the next day. From my first call to the transport company to getting the car took three days. Also, as far as cost compared to everybody else, it was right in line, and the service was fantastic. I'd use AmeriFreight again.

My oldest was going off to college in Tampa and her sister decided to go with her. I had to have both cars shipped from Fairfield, California to Tampa, Florida which was like 2,600 miles. I went online and AmeriFreight came up first. I just punched on it. I was asked where the cars were going and when I needed them by. AmeriFreight said that they would get the car in Tampa the best they could and for the most reasonable rate they could find. They came in about $400 higher than what the quote was but that was almost to be expected. Otherwise, they followed up and they got the job done. It was all good. The driver had some issues with his trailer. But as it turned out, they just got the cars off the trailer, drove them to the kids, and signed off on it. There were no damages. The driver seemed cordial enough and everything went well according to plan. Everybody's happy at the moment. I'd totally recommend AmeriFreight.

With other companies, they gave me some information before I signed up for a contract. But then afterward, things were totally opposite. Conversely, working with AmeriFreight was a great experience. The quote they gave was relatively accurate and the rep who helped me, Harry, was wonderful. He kept informing me and talking to me. He assured me not to worry and that he was in charge for my car. Delivery came within one week and the person who came with my car parked his big truck next to my neighborhood. He then drove my car to my parking yard. If somebody needs moving services, they should definitely use AmeriFreight.

If I had any questions or concerns, she always got back to me as soon as she could. But the carrier driver didn't have English as his first language, so it was hard for us to understand what we were saying to each other. Nevertheless, we got everything sorted out and everything went fine. The shipping process from beginning to end took six days which exceeded my expectations. I was highly satisfied with AmeriFreight and I would definitely use them again in the future if I ever needed to ship a car.

It was actually the same price that I ended up paying at the end. I made a decision and I stopped shopping, and I just dealt with the one company, that worked better.

It was $300 or $400 more expensive and it didn't deliver on itself. The broker was just in it for their broker fee and didn't go above and beyond. It took around 16 days to deliver. They picked up before Thanksgiving and sat on it. The broker who was in charge of our transport said that he couldn't get a driver on the phone or couldn't even get in touch with the dispatch, so the car was delivered a day later than what the window was. It was delivered on the 2nd and it was supposed to be the 29th to the 1st. It felt like they took their money, they got their cut, and they really didn't give a crud.

It was too high so we waited it out and they got me a better quote, $400 less. Every time there was somebody who wanna take the job, the transport organizer would check with me and make sure that I was okay with it or if I agreed with it. Once I agreed to it, she walked me through the process and gave me point of contact of the actual company that picked the vehicle. She also coordinated the delivery as to where I was gonna meet, etc. She did very well. The whole delivery process took 12 days which exceeded their timeline because they gave a 14-day window and they called me at 12.

I needed to ship an older BMW to my brother in Virginia to restore it. I like that AmeriFreight is right here where I live. I also went out to the website and saw that they had really good reviews. That was my first time dealing with a broker. I have shipped a car in the past, but I just found somebody, read the reviews and went with it. But it appealed to me to work with a broker who works with different carriers, so that I could get the better price. I dialed their 800 number, left a message and then they called me back and gave me the free quote. I also went online and put in my parameters and it spit out some quotes. What they quoted me was cheaper than what I found online and it was accurate down to the penny.

The rep called to tell me that the rate I got from their system is estimated and they can only ship that car for 900. I’ve owned trucks before and we’ve always had insurance on the vehicles in case something goes wrong, so I know how the industry work. But their reps came to recommend that I have an insurance on the vehicle. Otherwise, if something goes bad, I have to deal with it. I can’t go to Mississippi to pick it up and drive it here so I was looking at a $700 bill and all of a sudden, it's at $1,100. They do what they said they were going to do. But I don’t like their business practice.

I called two others companies and asked, but my daughter had used AmeriFreight before 3 times and she recommended it when I was looking. She said she always had good experience with them. The quote was 925 and the other ones were higher, closer to 2,000. The letter said $600 and some, and that’s all I brought with me for the truck guy, and he says, “No, you owe 1,200.” I was wrong, because it really was that much. Nobody ships a car for that little. So there was a little misunderstanding, but I had the cash and I did pay him.

If someone was trying to budget against the initial quote and they had it in their mind, then that may cause some issue. It would be better to give a range, between this price and this price, so one can have data for payment. Overall, everything was fine.

They're a good company to use and I would recommend them.

At the beginning, their quote was a little bit more expensive than some of the others' but after I researched the company out, I thought it was worth it. AmeriFreight had a good record. If I need to ship a car again, AmeriFreight is certainly who I would go to. I've also recommended them to a couple of people.

They found a driver for me quickly and the transport was at an affordable price, especially as I contracted the service on short notice. I had an issue with my car that the driver voluntarily fixed for me when he picked it up. Also, he coordinated with me on the time and he got my car there. So, I was pretty happy with everything and I would tell people to definitely use AmeriFreight.

I’m assuming that when they put the car on the truck, they had to lock the steering wheel and whatever mechanism they used kinda tore into the leather on my steering wheel. But I didn’t feel like it was worth to do a claim. And other than that, I had no issues. The quote they had given me was also spot on.

I purchased a vehicle over in the state of Washington and I needed a carrier so I researched companies online. I went on to some websites that had several different carriers and then put in what I had, and coming from and going where. I got 10 million emails from different carriers and AmeriFreight had the most decent quote at the time.

My brother picked up the car and he said the delivery driver was very helpful. The car was also delivered in good condition.

When they told me the price to ship it, I didn't know that there was a broker’s fee on top of that. So, I went with what was the lowest price, not including the broker's fee and AmeriFreight had one of the lower ones. A lot of the brokers were really pushy. In fact, I'm still getting emails and phone calls. Danielle answered all my questions and responded right away or got back to me in time whenever I had a question. So I appreciated the service that I received.

There was one other company that had the symbols but AmeriFreight came with the highest rating so they were the best people to transport the car. AmeriFreight came up with good reviews and so we used them to have our car transported from the West Coast to the East Coast. Harry was our organizer and he was fantastic. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. Any time we had any questions or hiccups in the process, he was right on it right away. The transport took a week and during the delivery, the driver called to tell us that the car is ready and that we can go and pick it up. AmeriFreight is a very good company and we had a great experience with them. Use them.

We had a good deal on a truck on eBay and we bought it for my son. I checked the reviews and initially, AmeriFreight’s price came across as the lowest. However, the price jumped about $1,000. They told us about it as we went further into it. We were having trouble getting a carrier to pick it up because Washington to Texas was not a popular route. I was trying to get better days and more accurate timing, so the initial quote they gave me was $200 more than I was shipping. The transport organizer was very responsive. They called me on time, picked everything up, brought the car and the whole thing from beginning to end took 5 days. The vehicle was in the same condition when it arrived, so I’m happy with the transportation. I would definitely use them again in the future if I need to.

Then, for the delivery, we told them a specific location and that was where the driver dropped it off.
