AmeriFreight was the easiest to work with because everybody else was having heartburn over the fact that they couldn't figure out what a cab and chassis was. The lady at AmeriFreight immediately knew what it was and how to handle it. She was really sharp and on the ball, knowing what she was doing. She also kept me informed of things. She was very excellent to work with. Their quote was a little bit higher than what some of the others thought but it was fine. The driver was really a nice gentleman and that worked out well too.

I’d used AmeriFreight in the past and they were reasonable service-wise. As far as the pricing, I negotiated but I was happy. I was recently buying a new house and I needed to ship my vehicle across the country. Though the quote I got was 20% less that what I actually had to pay in the end, communication was well-done and that was what I liked the best. The driver was always available by cellphone and gave text messages with maps. I had one issue that I didn’t catch until after the insurance period had expired, but otherwise everything was good.

We bought trucks for other people in our company and I needed to ship them to those people. I read reviews online and afterwards, I chose AmeriFreight. I also liked the easy of everything in dealing with them. I did two trucks within the same two days and the quotes they gave me seemed fair with other places. One quote stayed the same during the process and one went up because it went by a few days. Their reps were good and made sure I was ready. I dealt with the pick up and it was great. Then I talked to the guys when the trucks were delivered and they said everything went smoothly. The delivery took three days for one of the trucks and five days for the other. I'd recommend them.

The quote AmeriFreight gave me was mostly good, although they did not disclose that their fee was on top of the fee paid to the driver. Other than that, the AmeriFreight rep who put it together was good and very responsive, as well as the driver that did the delivery.

I had a good experience with AmeriFreight. Their reps were able to answer all my questions and they told me just the right amount of stuff that I needed to know. Plus the quote I got was reasonable. My car was perfect when I got it, just the way I sent it.

AmeriFreight was recommended by a friend and I took advantage of their free quote option, which was a little high. During the delivery, I was out of town and it was a little frustrating because we had been told that we could have stuff in our vehicle, not above a certain weight limit. When the carrier arrived, he charged us $150 above the quoted price because there were stuff in the car. Still, their rep was very responsive. I was busy at a conference and she repeatedly emailed and called in order to try to reach me, so that was great.

I remotely bought a vehicle in Pennsylvania and I needed it to be brought back to my home state in Massachusetts. I looked online a little bit and I came across AmeriFreight. I looked them up and they looked pretty good. Then I talked to them on the phone after looking at their web page and things seemed to work out. There were at least three other companies that I was looking at at the time and I only talked to one other company. The rep from this other company was saying that I needed to put the vehicle inside a protected trailer and was kind of giving me a little bit of a runaround. Then I talked to AmeriFreight again and they gave me options. They talked to me about their historical vehicle clients and what they’ve done. And in general, they led me to making a better informed decision. Plus, I liked their customer service and price, so I went with them.
The quote that they gave me was accurate. But when it came to finding a trucker, it ended up being a little bit more mainly because they found a person the next day, which was a lot faster than I was expecting, and the destination was a little out of their way, so they had to account for gas miles. The increase was only $50 so it wasn’t that bad. Then the dealership said that AmeriFreight's reps they took care of everything during the pick up. They didn’t really have to get involved much, so that was good. And my friend who received the delivery just had to stay home for that portion when they arrived. They got the vehicle off the truck for him and it seems great. My friend showed me pictures and the dealership had pictures as well. The truck didn’t seem to be damaged at all. But it is a ’79 Corvette and it is notorious for not doing well with tow trucks, so AmeriFreight's reps did a good job and my experience with them was easy.

We live in California and my daughter was going off to college in Colorado. So, we had to get a car out, but we didn’t want to drive. I called several companies to get it shipped but they didn't return my phone call. On the flip side, AmeriFreight got back to me and they had me with their email that said I was gonna get great prices. However, the quote that they gave me was way off. On their starting email, they said the price was about $850. Then when I called they said it was about $1000, and then it ended up being $1250. Turns out, Amerifreight charges $250 for their service as a broker, which they should put in their first email. So, if the shipper is saying $850, then AmeriFreight should quote $1100. Then when the shipper goes up by $150, the difference would not be so dramatic.
I had heard that there was a scam in the shipping industry. It is a tough industry and I think that everyone’s doing it -- trying to get people to call them by sending out quotes where they're wrong. I feel sorry for the organizer at AmeriFreight though because he was probably this young guy that got this new job and this is what he has got to do all day. He was a super-nice guy and he was open about the fact that the pricing was very fluid -- that it was gonna go up.
I’ve also spoken to the actual shipper and I was happy with them. Ben was really nice and knowledgeable, and he did not oversell me. Right away he said that it’s not gonna be $850 but $1000 that they are gonna charge to ship the car. However, things got messed up during pick up. They came on the wrong day. I was out of town at the time. Still, we were able to get somebody else to release the car and everything went fine with the delivery. He said it would take up to a week, and it arrived in three days. That’s better than what I’ve heard from my friends who have had bad shipping experiences where the shipper keeps the car for 10 days and comes in super-dirty. Conversely, ours was delivered in great condition. Now that I have a name for a shipper who goes to Colorado, if I’m going to ship that car again, I can just call them directly.

AmeriFreight's initial quote looked good, but then it ended up going way up. I was quoted 900-something and I ended up paying close to 1,600. Also, our car wasn't picked up on the day I wanted the pickup. It was picked up a week late. The delivery didn't take that long, but I was in a rush 'cause I was closing on my house. I had to leave California to drive across the country, and they were making me wait to pick up my car.
I started the process a month and a half in advance, and I didn't get any updates. The reason AmeriFreight even reached out to me was ‘cause I kept emailing about when my car was gonna get picked up. I emailed them two weeks before and the following week, but no update. The day before it was supposed to be picked up, they told me it wasn't gonna get picked up. I had to wait a few more days for the car to get picked up. I decided approximately a month and a half in advance so that they wouldn’t come down the last minute, and I ended up being in that type of situation. Nevertheless, the driver was fine. He took the car off the truck, parked it and I paid him. The car was super dirty, but that was to be expected.

We were going from Bismarck, North Dakota to Apache Junction, Arizona and needed to ship a vehicle. While we had other quotes, I found AmeriFreight to be very good to deal with. Their reps had all the answers and they made it all very easy to schedule. In addition, they were very cooperative when speaking to me. Although they weren’t the cheapest, they had the best review overall online and their customer service was the best I've ever had. Furthermore, their transport organizer answered every email I had. Her name is Danielle and she was always there. Similarly, the carrier driver was very nice and I had no issues with him at all. When the vehicle arrived, it was in good condition.

I wanted to take a class in Nevada and I needed to get back and forth and use my car while I was there. A recommendation led me to AmeriFreight and my experience with them was terrific. The rep who helped me set up the transport was great. It took a minimum amount of effort on my part and everything was organized. All the documents were in order. At one point, I was very stressed because I had to fly back to New York then return since I’m taking care of my grandkids, too. But AmeriFreight's rep was very pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend him and if they could clone him, it would be great. With him, I’m sure everybody would have a great experience. I would also give them AmeriFreight an A-plus. The experience was amazing and trouble-free. They were very professional and I was really happy with their service.

I had a vehicle in Florida and I needed it shipped to Philadelphia. AmeriFreight had highly-rated reviews online. I took advantage of their free quote option and wound up paying exactly what I was quoted. Though my conversations with their rep wound up getting a little long-winded, I expected that with someone being so thorough. Also, their driver called me before the delivery and let me know where he was. When he arrived, he handed over everything and made sure I was okay with the delivered vehicle and their service. I felt very good about the condition of my vehicle when it arrived.

The rep that I spoke to was funny, very personable and informative. He looked out for me and he was fantastic. AmeriFreight promised me 24 hours advance notice before they pick up the car, but after they gave me the timeframe, the driver called me to ask if it would be okay if he showed up in three hours. I told him that I was okay with it but he could not do it at the other end because my wife was down in Florida and she was working. So I gotta have the 24 hours advance notice. When he got to Florida, he did just like what he said he would. He called my wife a day before and also an hour before he came. The driver was very professional and the delivery took about a week. I was very happy with everything.

The quote I originally got from AmeriFreight was a lot lower than what it was finalized at. Their rate was the only reason I went with them in the beginning. When I signed the contract, it said the initial quote would only go up a certain percentage, but it skyrocketed past that. But I kept with AmeriFreight because of the representative that was handling the move. She kept in contact with me and her customer service skills were extraordinary. She made me not leave AmeriFreight because I tried to go with a different company. Also, the driver was great, from when he picked up the vehicle to when he dropped it off.

AmeriFreight was a little pricey but they were safer than the rest of the brokers. They had the best reviews online which was the main factor for me. I also based my decision on the response time and the delivery time that was committed. The quote changed by $80 but since I was about to move and the time was very sharp, I had no other choice but to pay. Otherwise, I would not have paid or I would have gone to another provider. Their customer service was quite good although there were some hiccups. There was a four-day silent period so I tried to call back. I wasn’t able to get ahold of the person but at the end of the day, we were able to communicate.
When they picked my car up, the guy mentioned that my front wheel had low air or a puncture. I felt that it was all good because two days before the delivery, I had the car serviced. He thought that the tire will go flat during the transport so he had to fix it and charged me $25. When they delivered it, I asked him if he changed anything or filled up the air. He said no, which was a little odd. Moreover, my assumption was that the drop-off would be much closer to my location but I had to drive 20 minutes during rush hour to the location. I thought my location was my home address, which I gave to them, but when they arrived, they said they were there and to come and get my vehicle. Besides the price change and the issue with the drop-off, AmeriFreight's service was good.

I was in a time crunch to get my car shipped and Harry, AmeriFreight’s rep, spoke candidly. I would've liked a lower price but AmeriFreight’s was a good fit. The driver parked the truck a couple of blocks away because it was hard to get in which was fine. However, he didn't call me when he arrived and he just started unloading the car. Thereafter, he drove the car from where he parked the shipping vehicle to the house. When I saw him drive in and not see the truck, it made me a little nervous. It was a little jarring to see him drive my car and I did not appreciate that. It'd be better for him to contact me to let them know where he was, so that if I wanted to drive the car from where the shipping vehicle was to the house, I could've. Nevertheless, AmeriFreight’s followup was nice.

We were moving from California to North Carolina. I called a lot of different companies and I checked ratings. AmeriFreight has good Yelp ratings and most of the companies are brokers anyway, so I decided to go with AmeriFreight. The quote given was fine. The only thing that I was a little bit concerned about, was that when they gave a quote, it wasn't a quote that added the broker's charges. So, if it's gonna cost $1,200, then, they'll put it on the board for $1,200 but then I have to add the added cost of the broker's fee. And being my first time, I didn't understand that, so I was a little confused.
It got to a point where I was a little concerned because it got closer to when we were moving but I didn't get a phone call back to confirm that I got someone to ship the car back. They didn't let us know until at almost a day of re-requesting. And then, they put it on the board and someone hopefully would pick it up. So I got desperate in selecting and making that decision so I paid a little bit more than I wanted to. But Daniella at AmeriFreight was very good and helpful. She even called me back to make sure everything was okay, so I'm quite pleased with the service. The driver was great as well. Unfortunately, he had a problem with his truck, but he called me up and kept me informed. He left his phone number so I could call him back too. It was later than I expected, but everything was fine with the delivery and I was quite satisfied with it. AmeriFreight is a reputable company. They have good follow up, good communication and good customer service.

I was moving cross country and chose AmeriFreight based on their good online reviews. My initial interactions with them were fine, and then as we got closer to the date I needed, it became hard. I didn't like that I couldn't set a date, which was troublesome for me since I work 80 hours a week so I can't just leave at their whim. I got desperate so I said, “You can go up on the price a little bit.” Their quote ended up being completely inaccurate. They quoted me at 995, but I ended up paying 1,700 and I didn't have a choice. There wasn’t a thorough enough explanation. They should be able to understand a specific date and time for a pick-up, and I should be able to use a credit card without a fee on any sort of transaction like this. Also, initially the delivery truck wouldn't fit so I had to go drive my car somewhere on the way to get it on the truck. But once the car was on the freight, everything was fine.

I needed to ship the car I inherited from my mother. I looked at the Better Business Bureau and AmeriFreight was rated as one of the highest as far as customer satisfaction. Then, I did some other Google searching and I decided to use them. My rep was really helpful and provided a lot of information so even though I have never shipped a vehicle before, I felt confident that I had the information that I needed. It took four days from the vehicle's pickup to the delivery, and both went smoothly. I ended up paying a bit more than I was quoted with because both my pick up and delivery locations were off the beaten path.

When I was moving to a different city, I shopped around a few other options, but AmeriFreight was fast in responding and they gave me a good rate. The rep also gave continuous calls with updates. She even called me in the middle of the transport and called back again after the delivery to see that everything was good. The delivery driver was good, too, in giving the information and he even delivered it a day earlier than he promised to do. My only suggestion is for AmeriFreight to advertise more because I found them after searching a lot. I could not find them easily.

I’m in the military, and I was moving duty stations. I have read good reviews about AmeriFreight and the price I was quoted at around a thousand seemed good. I was even told that was pretty firm. Then two days before my vehicle was to be picked up, I was told it was actually closer to $1,600. The first person I spoke with was rude, too. I did not get any email back originally. I had to call a few times, but I never got a callback. Then, a completely different person had to schedule my move.
In closing, AmeriFreight should give their customers a warning beforehand. The excuse that I got for the price raise was that it was just the market and that they were in a high volume time. If that was an issue, they should just be upfront and warn their customers about the price raise. It was very shady to me that I did not know that a month ahead, the price could be so much higher. They obviously just wanted to get the money out of it. While I had no issues with the delivery, I would never use AmeriFreight again or recommend them to friends.

I was a little concerned with AmeriFreight's free quote option because it puts the car out on a web database which makes it non-competitive for a lot of other companies. The process took about a week and a half and everything was fine.

I had a great experience with AmeriFreight. We were moving from Tucson to Charlotte and their initial bid was by far the lowest. However, they don’t tell you that they add $300 on top of that, which made the bid just average and not all that great. There was a sticker shock when that came about. I understand that they have to make a profit, but because they don’t talk about it beforehand, I assumed that it was all part of the price. They only talked about one number right up until I was ready to accept the bid and then they added the increase in. At that point, I was too far along to back out. I didn’t have many other options because of the timeframe it took to get that bid. They should make it clear earlier on that there is going to be a fee added on top of the bid.
The people I dealt with on the phone were very nice and friendly. They seemed to be on top of things. The delivery and pick up were fairly seamless. The transport took four days. However, the driver misjudged the amount of time he had left and couldn’t make it to my house on the day that he was supposed to get there. He timed out about 10 miles short of my house and we met him at a truck stop down the road. It wasn’t super inconvenient, but I was happy with the experience in general.

I purchased a vehicle out of the state and needed to ship it. On Google search, AmeriFreight came up quickly and they had good reviews. The initial price quote I got was a little higher than the price I finally got out of AmeriFreight, so I saved a little money. I was quoted 1,900 and then AmeriFreight came in at about a thousand bucks, which was fair but was way too low. AmeriFreight tried, but it’s supply and demand and I knew what I was dealing with. I was in the trucking business and I wouldn’t have done it for that. The price ended up at 1,795.
The rep from AmeriFreight was very nice. She kept me in the loop and it took quite a while to locate a transport company. But when she did, it was a good quality kind of mom and pop operations and I had their cell number, so it went well. I called the driver up and he arrived early. He was at the motel at the truck stop about 10 minutes from where I live and he had the car unloaded waiting there ready for me. So, I just took the car out from the truck stop. I asked if the price was going to change or not and they said, "No," and that if it did change, the change would be around 50 bucks. But when they picked up the car, the price became 1395 which they said was because of the carrier. But I learned later that that was just the administration fee. Aside from that, they weren’t very communicative prior to pick up when I was calling them and they didn't call me to update me that there was a delay or what day they were coming in. I moved from California to Florida for a new job and needed to get my vehicle across the country. AmeriFreight's website was very informative. It talked about how to pick a good carrier and how it didn't necessarily have to be AmeriFreight. Plus, it talked about hidden fees and things to look out for. When I called, the agent I dealt with was very good at explaining the process and I felt confident that the company would do a good job. They were able to give me a quote over the phone, but they never sent me an invoice. I ended up paying a price but I never saw the breakdown, which was a little frustrating to me. I had an old car and my nephew back in Ohio bought it. Shipping it from California was a quicker and easier way than driving it, so I reached out to a few companies and AmeriFreight pretty much fit the bill perfectly. So, I went with them. Their reps were great. I called them and I dealt with one contact person. We exchanged emails and got everything knocked out within a couple of phone calls.
It was explained to me that AmeriFreight is a broker and I was given a price range of what to expect. I was most impressed with the price that they quoted me because it came in below what I was expecting to pay, so that was a pleasant surprise. It was two-door Honda and a small car, which played a part in it. Then AmeriFreight put the posting up and the people who picked up the job gave them the solid number, which was $1,500. Within a couple of hours, their rep called me back and said they found a shipper. It was not even a full day from the time I first called them to when it was all set up and ready to go. Then the car got to where it needed to go within the time frame that they allotted, so the transport was a success from that standpoint. After that, my mom, who lives in a retirement community, had a neighbor who was shipping a car from Ohio to California and I recommended AmeriFreight to them.

I got stationed in Hawaii and we needed to ship my wife’s car. AmeriFreight had better reviews online and they were the ones that first responded back to my inquiries. It was good to work with Lisa, the customer service rep who always called me. Our interaction was via email at first which was a little confusing but once she gave me her direct office number, it was good. It was our first time to ship a car overseas and she explained the whole car shipping process to me. She also explained what expectations I should have about the booking process.
I reached out really early in trying to get ahead of the whole planning issue and she helped calm me down and let me know that they usually book in this type of time frame and she managed my expectations. There were a couple of issues but minor ones. The price changed about $300 from the time we booked. It was about 25% which was significant and it surprised us at that point but we still wanted to go with AmeriFreight and their people did a good job. Lisa was very helpful when AmeriFreight passed the car off to Madison because there were some communication errors between Madison and AmeriFreight and we needed her to follow back up. She did it very quickly even with the five hour time difference.
We worked with the pick up of the car and I met with the driver. It was a bit odd though because he didn’t show us any ID. We just referred based on the big truck that he was the one to pick up the car. He showed up in flip-flops and shorts but he did a great job inspecting the car and doing the bill of lading. When he drove away, I was standing with my father-in-law and we weren’t sure if we gave it to the right pick up person or if we just handed over the keys to my wife’s car to a total stranger that we didn’t know. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Amerifreight. We are definitely happy that we went with them. The only thing was that they charged a little more for the commission that they took and the amount of the actual driver that was paid was somewhat disproportionate. I was charged about $400 or something, which they took as a commission, and the driver got around $690 for the transport. The commission rate was a little high. They initially gave me a quote that was fairly good, but the price became a little bit higher after I had the vehicle shipped and I found out later that there were a few places that were cheaper.
Still, it was a good experience overall. The person who came and picked the vehicle up was very nice and he parked in a convenient area for me to meet him. And for the size of truck he was driving, he parked in a reasonable area as well. He was also very easy to get in contact with and he called me around the time he said he would. Then he called my parents when he got to the destination and there was no problem there in meeting with him where he was at because he chose a very convenient place. The car got shipped in the condition I left it in his care so, I got what I paid for. I would tell a friend to give AmeriFreight a call and see what their rate is, but also check around because if you have enough time to look, you might find something cheaper.

The driver who picked up my car was a nice guy and it was a quick handoff. It was weird that I had to drive a town over and then drop my car off to him somewhere not close to my house, but it wasn’t that far. Then, my brother picked up the car for me. AmeriFreight is a fine company to go with, but people should be careful of price fluctuations. It can be drastically different than the quoted cost, but that’s the case across the industry.

I needed to ship my vehicle from New York to Florida. Since AmeriFreight has the middle of the road pricing and they have good reviews online, I chose them. I went back and forth with the rep a few times and she was helpful. However, the carrier driver showed up at the wrong house. He was very apologetic though and polite and was only a few minutes away. He brought the car right to the house soon after. All in all, it took seven days from when they picked up my vehicle to when it was dropped off. While the quote given to me was fair, the final price was 300 bucks higher than the original quote. Nevertheless, AmeriFreight has reliable people who did a good job.

When I had vehicles that needed to be delivered to San Diego, I called AmeriFreight. They found a carrier with a better price so I went with them. The transport organizer had good follow-up and everything was satisfactory. Everything was professional with the driver. The transport process took two and a half weeks from beginning to end. AmeriFreight was very timely and the vehicles were delivered a day early. I would recommend them.

I recently moved from California to Ohio and I chose AmeriFreight as my shipping method. I had never done this before but it didn’t matter because my agent Ben ** was so helpful and understanding! During the process, I was given 3 days in which my car would arrive and was told it would be the earlier days. When my car wasn’t there the first day I called Ben just to get a confirmation for a better estimate. He told me that now it was up to a third party but he did everything he could to get in touch with them so that I could get a better estimate.
This went on for 3 more days and my car ended up being a day late but Ben was always responsive and helped me each time when I wanted to get in contact with the carrier and put my mind at ease that everything was going to work out. I’m the type of person that will call over and over again to make sure what I have purchased/requested is on track and Ben was more than willing to help with everything!

AmeriFreight’s customer service was great. The person who set everything up for me definitely made me decide to go with them. He sold the company. He was very courteous and respectful. He was also a great listener, which is really uncommon. Plus he knew how to answer every question right off the bat. The driver came and picked up the truck the day after we talked. He left that night for my new location and he got there at 10:00 in the morning, or maybe even earlier. It surprised all of us how quickly it was done and the driver was very pleasant. If I had to relocate again, I would definitely use the same guy.

AmeriFreight was well reviewed online and seemed like the quickest easiest solution for my move. As far as the quote that I was given, it seems like all of these moving companies such as AmeriFreight go off with one general central board where all of the shipping quotes are posted. So they and other companies informed me that it would only make sense to go with them or find an alternative. However, the quote that AmeriFreight gave me was one and a half times higher than what they quoted me originally. And unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my car shipped until after the period that they said it would be. So although it wasn't the best experience, I don't think it was in their control. Still, their rep did great and I think that the problem is the system, not necessarily the person I worked with. My interactions with the carrier delivery guy were all great as well.

I had to get our car to my stepdaughter because she turned 16 and AmeriFreight had high ratings with what seemed to be reputable companies, like the BBB and the AARP. First, AmeriFreight sent me an email letting me know the different rates. Then Leticia called me and she was amazing. I didn’t know how to ship a car and she explained in general how the move works and how AmeriFreight does it. AmeriFreight's customer service was absolutely stellar.
My stepdaughter lives with her mom in Phoenix, Arizona and although we lived in Southern California, we were also in the process of moving to Washington state. So there was this entire jigsaw puzzle that was happening. There was this one day that I couldn't get back to Leticia but it was the time to get the bid. When I called, Leticia wasn’t in. But another lady took over and she was super helpful. It didn't feel like my contact person was this person and I couldn’t talk to anybody else. I could talk to anybody and everybody was really helpful. So that was nice. I would tell others to absolutely use AmeriFreight because it was super easy.

I went through two other transport companies and fired them so it was a very frustrating experience how a business in the industry operates. I felt I was being deceived so I finally took a gamble and went with AmeriFreight. Their quote wasn't the lowest but they were inline and it was acceptable for the financial part. Our organizer, Jared, was phenomenal. I’ve owned businesses and I’ve had senior management positions with the company, but I’ve not experienced that type of customer service ever in my career. That gentleman was an absolute godsend.
I shared with him my frustrations and I said that I was three weeks behind and I’m trying to get my vehicle. He emailed me on a weekend that he was trying to find a driver and he explained to me how he would assess the work. The two previous companies were not necessarily doing a bad job but they didn’t explain to me how the process works and it was a little arcane but it is what it is. Jared would email me on his way into work so he went so far above and beyond to what I’ve experienced before in every facet.
The interaction that I had with the carrier driver was quick in pace. He said that there was a little stacked on the teeming part of it. The vehicle was supposed to arrive on August 3rd and we got an email on the 31st of July from some connection and not from the driver. The person was nice but he said that we needed to make the appointment and the driver was gonna be at our place on the 1st, which was two days ahead of schedule which was wonderful. But I was out of cellphone battery and was not able to get back to them on the 2nd. A voicemail said that if I didn’t get a hold of them soon, they may have to put our car in a storage and I have to pay to get it out, and I understood that. It was great that they would chase ahead of schedule, but they should've been a little bit more understanding in that context that maybe the customer was simply not available for whatever reason.
But I got hold of them and the gentleman was great. I emailed back and I spoke with the driver himself. He admitted that the residential area that we are in was easy access for a big truck to come in to but he chose to drive my Jeep over which was nice. He is a very polite guy and I expected that everything was absolutely perfect. He was prepared to simply walk back to his truck without taking any rest in getting his truck here, but I drove him back there, we shook hands and he was off on his way.
Jared also did a follow up and asked me how it had been. If AmeriFreight mirrored how Jared handled me, then they will continue to be a very, very sucessfull company. I actually sent a generic email to the owner of the company through their sales office to let the owner know that I’d steal Jared away in an instant if I had my own company so they got to hold on to him.

I was moving out of state. I chose AmeriFreight as my car transport company as I saw that they had a rating from the BBB and that they were accredited. Also, from the BBB’s website, they seem to have good reviews. Their rep, Danielle, was really great. She seemed very busy but she always answered my questions. She informed me early on that she was gonna be taking a vacation around the period I was looking to have my car shipped but that her team won’t be available. So from a communication standpoint, everything was great. She also called to make sure that my car got there okay. Furthermore, the carrier driver was great as well. It started to pour right when we went to the parking lot and he waited until it subsided a bit before getting my car off the tracks. The delivery took five days and it exceeded my expectations set by Danielle.
AmeriFreight did everything they could and I was satisfied. But in general, the experience was very stressful. I gave AmeriFreight a 1-week window and I didn't feel that I had a car shipper until a few days in that window. They also told me that they couldn’t guarantee that the car would ship out by the end of my window and that was stressful. Also, from a price standpoint, I was very disappointed. It was frustrating to have the price be 150% of what the initial estimate was. Still, it was the holiday weekend so that might have been a variable.

My family was moving from Washington to Texas. AmeriFreight's organizer was very good, pleasant, articulate and well-spoken. He treated me well, listened to me, and explained things very well, and I believed him. The quote ended up being more than the one I was given though. But I spoke to someone on the phone who explained to me how that whole quote thing worked. You use the quote and it would get someone in the door, and then they’d call you and find out more. But it’s possible to get low quotes when you’re actually trying to bid, but you may have to wait at least three months, or you may not ever get your car picked up.
The guy was able to look at what the market was looking like, he could see cars exactly like mine in the same area and time frame, what they were bidding for and how long they’ve been on there. He was exemplary and if I would ship a car again, I would call and ask to speak specifically with him. Any doubts and fears that I had, he was able to quell those and explained why it might be higher than what I was quoted, that it was possible to keep it that low, how much time I have and what were the cost benefits and pros and cons of the situation.
After speaking with the agent for some time, I decided to list it a little bit higher than the average price but still keep it low. We got a bite after about a week or two that was a lot higher than my bid. And then another week went by, and we got a bite that was still a couple hundred bucks higher. But we were getting close to the move date so I thought that was good. I ended up saving 100 bucks by taking the vehicle to the gentleman in a neighboring city that was about 30 minutes away.
We’re in the Greater Houston area, and Galveston is the beach town there, in the water gulf. The driver got stuck down there when he was delivering vehicles. And so he kept pushing the time to meet me. We ended up having to do it the next day. At first, I was a little upset. But when he explained to me what was going on, it all worked out in the end. I wasn’t thrilled with everything but I’m a reasonable person. And it wasn’t like I urgently needed my car. I got a three-date range for it to get delivered and the came within that range. So everything was good. And although there was a little bit of a language barrier, based on the level of communication, it was still understandable. Overall, the process went exactly as they stated it would and AmeriFreight held up their end of the bargain.

It was more of a bad experience. I had gotten a quote from a couple of different companies and AmeriFreight gave me a fair quote.
Ben, the transport organizer, was very helpful and attentive. He had gotten everything organized for me, gave me a lot of information, let me know how the quotes could change, how the process worked and what they were as a company as far as finding somebody for me. I had a couple of questions and he answered my calls immediately. If he wasn’t available, he called me back right away when I left messages. He was absolutely a breeze to work with and called me several times after to make sure that everything was going along well. I had a really good experience with him.
The interactions with the carrier driver were mostly good, but there was one little hiccup that felt a little weird. He had called and asked about dropping early, which was fine. Then called about having me meet him somewhere else about 15 miles away from me. Unfortunately, I had to work that day. I could take the time off to go meet him, but I couldn’t take two, three hours off, so I said I was unable to. He said that was fine but he may not be able to meet me until the scheduled delivery date, which was fine. Then the next day, he called me back and said he would be there early. I purchased a vehicle in Tallahassee and needed to have it shipped up to where I live. I did some research and looked at the reviews and narrowed it down to the top five companies. The key thing about AmeriFreight was their customer service. My contact there was very helpful. He explained how the whole process works which I had no idea in how competitive it is with all the other shippers out there. He told me that he could put a price on the board where all of the shippers go to. He also said that they control what’s out there as the starting point. He was honest with me and not pushy at all, unlike a lot of the other ones who wouldn’t leave me alone. He then suggested that we can start from somewhere and see what we can get. It ended up being competitive.
The carrier was great too. As soon as he accepted the job, he contacted the seller and me right away and arranged a pick up to make sure that he was gonna be available as far as what a good time would be. Once he got on the road, he gave an approximate delivery date and called me prior to that. There were lots of communication from picking up the car in Tallahassee to bringing it up to Wisconsin. Everything was great. Other than that, I contacted them early to get a quote to find out what it would cost. It took a little longer to actually close on the vehicle to have everything arranged and taken care of. I’ve used AmeriFreight before when we moved out to California three years ago and they did a great job, so I used them again. The rep was very good, very accommodating and easy to talk to, and called me back immediately. Communications were good and AmeriFreight worked on the price. It ended up being a really good move and the service was perfect.
The vehicle was dirty when it arrived. It was driven across the country and it had a lot of dust on it from driving across the desert, but, other than that, it was in fine condition. The only concern I had was they originally quoted me a good price, then around two days before they were supposed to show up and pick up the vehicle, they finally were able to give a guy to sign on to take the vehicle across the country, but the price went up by 350 bucks. He decreased it by 100 bucks and gave me a 100 bucks rebate for that.
The rate went up a bit more than I would have liked in such a short period of time. I didn’t have much choice and I had to take it because we were leaving the state and I needed to get the vehicle out. We purchased my grandmother’s car and she lives down in Belmont, Texas. We needed to ship the car to San Francisco so I did a lot of research on the Better Business Bureau and other review sites to see who the most reliable carriers were. I got it down to a couple and then got quotes for what the expected price is gonna be, and AmeriFreight came in a little bit lower. However, I was disappointed because I didn’t fully understand that the quote was a very aggressive estimate and that the actual cost would end up coming in 10% or 20% higher than that. It seems like that isn’t just true with AmeriFreight. That’s kinda how the entire industry works but that was definitely an annoying aspect of this interaction.
Aside from that, Harry from AmeriFreight was very communicative, pretty easy to get a hold of and answered questions. However, the carrier driver was supposed to come within the 12 o’clock range and she ended up coming at 8:00 AM, which caused some issues because it was our 85-year old grandmother and my sister-in-law was down there to help deal with stuff. It ended up being logistically more stressful than I think it could’ve been had the driver been more communicative and transparent about her timing.
AmeriFreight is fine and probably as good as it gets for these carriers but the whole aspect of not knowing what the price is going to be until a day or two before the carrier could actually pick up your car, not being able to lock in a date until a day or two before, it was just very shocking that there is still an industry that functions that way when so many other industries have been restructured, and there’s so much more transparency around on both pricing and consumer experience. It's not necessarily AmeriFreight’s fault but it certainly wasn’t an enjoyable consumer experience.

The driver called us a few hours before he was supposed to deliver the car and it was delivered at a Petrol Station. Also, I'm not really happy with the price. It was almost misleading. The reason we went with AmeriFreight was because they had the best price out of all the other options we had. The rep had said that the price they quoted us would be the price that we will be paying. He said that the price might go up based on the people who would take the order but he said that he did not foresee that as being a situation. But when the order came in, the price went up.
In that case, I would've gone with somebody else because another company actually gave us a higher bid because they said that the price was most likely gonna go up. AmeriFreight should have been really blunt upfront. They need to make it very clearly stated that the quote is not the final price. We're the type of people who take everything into consideration when we make our final decision. I would have rather that they gave us the higher price then I could have actually made my informed decision completely based on the prices. She even called the company, verified the time, even called us and actually was more than happy to call the person because it wasn't me but a family relative at the pick-up point. She was very accomodating and great to deal with. The delivery went well. I was on a military base, so I kinda figured usually it would be a little bit harder for them to get on base, so I had already pre-organized with them to just meet in a parking lot somewhere. At first I tried to let them know which area I thought but he said, "Oh, no. I know where to deliver."
The driver already had a place in town that was a very easy drop-off point to get the car unloaded. He was even there early which is nice. Carrier drivers always tell you the time but I've noticed a trend. It's usually they're just arriving at that time but this driver was ready. As soon as I pulled up about 10 minutes early, the car was already down. He wasn't like "Oh, you're late." He said, "Hey, you're on time. Let's get this done."
I've shipped a vehicle through the military moving and it had been damaged in the past. This time I walked it over kind of the key areas of the vehicle I know they could damage all the time in moves, such as some of the undercarriage but even though it was an open-air carriage, aside from it getting dirty, which is completely reasonable, there was no damage. It looked great. I was very happy and very pleased with it, to the point where I got the driver's card to his moving company. I told him, "Hey, can I get your card specifically to where I need to coordinate, I can go through AmeriFreight and say, 'Hey, can I get this company again specifically?'" They just did a great job and more than likely, when I move it again, I would probably be going through AmeriFreight again.

AmeriFreight had really good reviews and seemed like they were communicating with their customers. Plus, the prices seemed competitive. I had gotten quotes from a couple of companies to see what the normal range was gonna be. AmeriFreight's price was fair, but the original quote was cheaper than what we ended up paying. You can’t depend on a date and a time for sure for one thing and then moneywise, it was a little bit frustrating when you’re trying to make a budget and you’re already paid a lot to move. My experience was a stressful one that I would like to avoid if I could.
Nevertheless, Allison, the rep I worked with, was really friendly and responded quickly to my emails and phone calls. I had been in contact with somebody else with the carrier company and I tried to give them an address. We were in the townhouse so our streets are very narrow. I suggested a nearby grocery store and they told me it wasn’t gonna work as there was a roundabout. I said there was another route that they could take where they didn't have to go through the roundabout and there was plenty of space. There are big trucks that pull up all the time and it was close to my house so I could walk home. They told me no.
They told me that I and the driver were gonna meet in a Target parking lot and I said that place was narrow too but fine. I was a bit frustrated. I had the day off and I was there waiting. The driver called me and said he was there. I said I didn't see him. He spoke broken English so we had a little bit of trouble communicating. I asked what place he was near to and he said the restaurant. I drove over there which wasn’t too far from where I thought I was supposed to meet them.
The driver tried to load my car on the main street and I said he can’t do that. He was blocking traffic. He slams the grates back into the truck and was really rude to me. He asked where I wanted him to go. I said he could follow me and I would show him a better place. I took him over to where a loading dock was, close to where we were supposed to meet. The vehicle had gotten loaded and it was fine. Then the driver was fine at drop-off. There must’ve been a miscommunication on his end too. The transport took six days, which was faster than I originally thought. Everyone was also very polite to me and was helpful but overall it was not as easy of a process.

When we were moving, I did some reviewing online. In my research, AmeriFreight was one of the better companies that I found with a better rate. The quote given to me was very competitive. I first had George who was really good. Then they switched me to Ben and he was also great. At the very end, I had a woman named Laticia. I had two cars shipped, so one of them Ben handled, and the other one was Laticia. Everything was on time in picking up, too. The company did a great job. We had a big cross-country move, so there was a lot to worry about, but everything was as I was told, so I was very happy with it.

Nevertheless, they said they were going to note that and the vehicles arrived within the timeframe we expected.

We moved across the country. We drove two vehicles out, but the third one, we just had shipped. I did a web search, and there was an article by somebody that had recommended AmeriFreight. It went smoothly with them but they called a little too much. I was like okay, it's being shipped but they kept calling to say, "Okay, just checking in. Say if you need anything." I know that's a rare complaint. I said, "No, we're good. Yup. Everything's fine." It also seemed a little strange that they gave me a quote and as soon as I agreed they said, “Well, probably it will bump up,” and it immediately did. Nevertheless, AmeriFreight worked great, just be forewarned that the price might go up from what you're quoted.

I was moving across the country for a job position and I needed a solution to get one of our two cars across while the family and I were driving in the first car. I had an original quote with AmeriFreight and then I went to another company whose quote was a lot higher than what I got from AmeriFreight. That company said that it was the reality of the situation. But I went back to AmeriFreight who immediately responded by giving me a very realistic idea of what my price would be and it ended up being several hundred dollars less. Lisa made the whole thing make sense and made it really easy on me. She was very helpful. Shipping the car was probably the easiest thing in the whole experience.
The driver dropped the car off and gave me a 360-view of pictures to show me that everything was good, and I trusted him. I was supposed to be there with some cash but he was ahead of schedule, which was good, and I wasn’t there yet. He was able to do a transaction over my credit card with himself and AmeriFreight signed off on it. We finished our payment out and he got me all my receipts. When I showed up in the house, the car was there. Everything was wonderful ‘cause we ended up taking a couple of extra days and visiting our family on our drive across. Knowing the car was there, we were able to take our time getting across the country. I would absolutely recommend AmeriFreight to a friend.

I had no idea what was going on, so the transport organizer described everything that was gonna happen and he explained it all thoroughly and answered all my questions really well.
The quote was really good compared to the service that they gave. At first I thought the quote was expensive, but considering that they delivered it a lot faster than I expected, it was worth it. The vehicle was shipped from San Antonio, Texas to Jacksonville, North Carolina in four days. My brother took it to the guy to deliver the vehicle and I was there when they dropped it off. The carrier driver was very nice. He showed up and then he gave me the clipboard and said, “Hey, sign here.” I was looking around the car if there was anything going on with it and they were pretty good about the job. I wanted to get my car shipped at a lower cost than possible. I do not have a timeline or anything specific. AmeriFreight had really good reviews on BBB and it seemed to be a much legit company so I went with them. I was given a quote of $1,000, but I ended up paying $1,600. So, the quote was way below the actual amount. The transport organizer was great. My pick-up date was around July 4th and my point of contact was not gonna be around during that time. So, I was able to reschedule the pick-up for that Friday instead of the July 4th or before that. The transport organizer was kind enough to come and pick up the vehicle a bit later.
I was expecting the delivery to take at least two weeks, but it was here in two days, and in good condition. The driver was great because he came right next to my apartment. They gave me a one-day heads up and an hour heads up as well that they’d be arriving at so and so time at the location. I paid the driver in cash and he gave me the invoice immediately, and things seemed great. However, I did not know that the carrier service would give quote just on the Friday or they would pick-up only on the Friday. I was trying to reach somebody throughout the week but Daniel, my point of contact had gone out of office and I did not know who would be the back-up contact at that point. It would be a good practice if someone else would be picking up the customer’s case and send an email saying that, “Hey, this person is gonna be your next point of contact."

The person I got to work with was Ben and he tried his best to help me out. One time, I called later in the day. I had forgotten that there was a three-hour difference because I was calling from California. Still, he answered and was really nice about trying to explain to me what was gonna happen because it was my first time.
Also, I really liked their carrier driver. He got to my place asap and got my car over to my new location in advance. I flew over and by the time I got to where I was supposed to move, the car was already there. Another thing that happened that was really good service was when my plane got delayed twice. The carrier driver was here and had to leave, but he ended up waiting until my plane got in. It was an inconvenience for him, but he was really nice about it. He gave me quotes on the phone and I just picked the one that worked for my needs.

I wanted to get the car moved, so I had a discussion with one of the people at AmeriFreight and he suggested raising the offer a little. I said that we kick it up a bit further and that got an instant effect by the next day. We got someone wonderful and I was really happy.
The transport took around three weeks from beginning to end. I worked with a couple of different people and they were all knowledgeable and fine. They tried to give me the best deal, but as it happened, it was a car that had been in storage and was then out of the storage. I didn't want it sitting around for a while, so I wanted to do it quicker. The final offer was from me rather than something they suggested. They tried to get me the best deal, but I wanted it done.
The carrier driver, as well as the experience, was terrific. The car was unable to move on its own and once it was unloaded from his big truck, it was gonna be sitting in the street. I got a slight slope up to my garage, so I hired a local truck driver to come over and pick it up out of the street and put it up in my driveway. We moved for work. I looked at some online reviews and AmeriFreight was highly rated. I used their free quote option and the quote was fine. It was on the lower end of the quotes that I had seen. The organizer I worked was professional and it was quick. The transport took about six days and I had not flown out yet when the driver delivered the cars. He initially wanted my wife to drive some long distance to get them, which was impossible, but then he figured out something else that was a little more possible. So my father-in-law drove over and the two of them together got the cars and it worked out. The cars were in the same condition that it had been dropped off.
AmeriFreight is a good option to go with. We ended up paying a little more than what was quoted for each car just because it was, they said, a high demand month and if we wanted to get the day that we wanted for pickup, then we would just have to go with it. It was about 20% more expensive per car than originally quoted but it was in the middle of the quotes that we received, so we just went with it.

When we contacted AmeriFreight, they responded. We chose them to ship our vehicle and worked with them for three months. We went back and forth with them because I needed to get an idea of the cost for a business expense. Their rep gave us a high end quote and a low end one. But then the quotes they gave were worthless. The cost all depended on the bids. I could a quote and and then the quote goes out to be bid on. What someone bids on it is what I would pay.
Still, the transporter bid something that was reasonable. It costed $200 or $300 more because they were going to deliver the vehicle within a week. Nevertheless, AmeriFreight's rep listened to what we needed. We weren't handed to somebody else and that guy was the same contact person we had over the three months which was nice. When we were ready and we needed to do the move, he was there to execute the contract.
Also, both pick-up and delivery were fine. However, during the pick-up I was never told that the transporters not actually coming to my home. The car was driven 12 miles to get to the carrier because he claimed that there are trees and that there were problems. However, there were no trees and there was no problem. He just didn't want to drive to my home. He then drove the car back, dropped the person off and drove it again. I think he didn't want to come over a bridge and made a thousand excuses as to why he wasn't coming. That put 40-some miles on the car in order to drop it off. Though that wasn't a problem, but it would have been nice to know.
On the arrival side, the same thing happened. The guy was calling and I said I live at the apartment across from a shopping mall, on a Sunday. There's a thousand car parking lot that's flat with no one in it. The driver didn't believe me. Instead, he wanted the car driven somewhere. I told him to just drive the thing up and when he arrived he said that the parking lot was like I said it was. I'm sure, he works with a ton of customers that don't know anything, but that seemed ridiculous to me.
Also, I took three or four minutes to figure out who he was. He wasn't explaining who he was. He should have said that he was from x-carrier, representing AmeriFreight. His introduction should have been that he was supposed to be delivering a 2017 Soul and that he is going to be in the area at a certain date.Still, my car arrived and it was fine. I have no complaint about the freighting. I like AmeriFreight in terms of of how they conducted themselves. But they're dependent on a sub-contractor, which I understand. We moved cross-country from Massachusetts to New Orleans and AmeriFreight was recommended by my mother-in-law for me to move my vehicle. At first we thought they were reasonably priced and the only thing that really bothered us was that we couldn't pin down a shipping date and that was fine. However, the quote they gave was inaccurate and the cost ended up being $200 to $300 more than what they quoted which was what I was pretty upset about.
We had two carrier drivers. The first one was horrible. He made me sign for my car at 3:00 AM. He bullied me and played my husband who he originally got the car from saying that my that my husband said it would be okay to drop it off really late because we have a baby and so we'd be up anyways, which wasn't true.
The second driver was fine except he didn’t give me any update as to when I would be receiving the car except up until like two hours before I had received it. I kept trying to call AmeriFreight, and I wasn't able to reach them. Though he was very nice in person, he barely spoke any English and I had a really hard time communicating with him. Still, at least he delivered it during the day and I appreciated that.
Other people should pick a different carrier that doesn’t have anything to do with those drivers. The communication between the dispatcher and the driver wasn't consistent. We were also told that we'd be able to put up to 100 pounds of goods in my vehicle at first. But then the first transporter informed me that was not the case. So we had all of the stuff in my car that had to be taken out, and we had to figure out another way to get it to Louisiana.
Also, we didn’t put anything in my husband’s car, which is bigger, and the driver was like, “Well, how come you're not putting more stuff in your car?” So if they could get their stories straight, that would be great. One driver said they would call up the transporter but they couldn't do anything about my situation. People should know that AmeriFreight's dispatchers are not available for issues unless they're arranging for pickup. I had a very unsatisfactory experience with them. Not only was there discrepancy in price, there was also a discrepancy in service and information between the person delivering the car, myself, and the dispatcher. Customer service was the worst overall.

I'm in the military and I was transferring. I needed to ship a vehicle and somebody told me about AmeriFreight. I got a free quote from them which was about what I would expect about the thing. Their reps were professional and when they came and got the car, they looked at it and got it pretty quickly. And they delivered it before I got there, so, that was a plus. The driver called me and told me that he was gonna be there early. I expected him to be there after I got there. But he ended up getting there quicker, so we just talked about it and he dropped it off in front of my house. The whole transport took six days from California to Virginia and everything was good. AmeriFreight was excellent and I would recommend them.

I purchased a vehicle in Colorado and I was moving to California. So, I needed it shipped to California. I liked AmeriFreight's Better Business Bureau rating and a lot of the reviews that I read online. So, I went with them. I got a free quote and it was great. Henry, the transport organizer who helped me, was very enthusiastic, very helpful, and called me repeatedly during the process and after the car had been delivered to make sure everything was going all right. He had a really positive attitude and answered all my questions. So, I felt fine about the whole transaction.
But the delivery was kinda complicated. I gave them a "no earlier than date" but the car got here faster than that. And because they had their single truck, they dropped my car off at the owner of the company's house, which was only about a five-minute drive from where I'm living. So I went over there, picked it up, and I had no problems with that. The entire process took a week and a half and my experience exceeded my expectations. I also recommended AmeriFreight to my parents who were purchasing a car in California and needed it shipped to Colorado.

When I first made the reservation with AmeriFreight, the quote was around $600. But the actual cost was bumped up by 300 bucks. The person that I made the reservation through was very easy to work with. She handled everything and she kept me up to date on what was going on with my request. The transporter contacted me the day of pickup and he was very on time and very nice. He also gave me the option to call him up, but I really didn't have to because it took him two days to deliver the car from El Paso, Texas to Colorado Springs. He dropped it off with no issues. It was a very smooth transition.

I would recommend AmeriFreight because I know that they would get a driver. When I relocated to Texas from California, I knew that pricing was gonna be a little more with them but I needed the truck and I trusted them after reading the reviews. One thing I didn't like though was getting the quote online. I figured I would immediately get emailed a quote on the range of cost but instead, I got called and I was getting my quote through that way. It wasn’t instant either. The wording "instant online quote" should be different.
But when I dealt with the transport organizer, it went very well. He was very upfront and when we had one miscommunication, he fixed it on the spot. We were able to get things back on a roll and everything was smooth. He was amazing and I would love to work with the same guy again. Then when the driver got here, we unloaded the vehicle. I got to check it over and it was just like I saw before.

I relocated and I did a research of the top shipping companies. AmeriFreight was one of the top ones that popped up. I was okay with the quote when I used the free quote option. Also, their customer service was great. The organizer answered all my questions and she gave me a lot of options. She made me feel like my car would go to me in a safe condition.
The driver texted me where he was gonna meet me and I met him there. I was able to call him along his way to California and he was able to contact me back, so it was great. He made me feel good about working with him. I read some reviews and I was kind of nervous. There were some bad reviews but he assured me that I can call him at anytime to see where he was at. He got my car three days earlier than expected. There was a little dust when the car got to me which is expected when traveling on the road, but other than that, it was all in one piece. I'm a travel nurse, so I've already recommended another nurse to AmeriFreight to have her car shipped from Florida. I'm really satisfied and it was a great experience, so I can't complain.

We have a property down south and I went there to put it up for sale. Then I needed and wanted to get the car there back, and we looked for a carrier that might be available. We didn't know what we were doing or getting but we needed to transport the car. It was nothing we had ever done before so the experience was all new. We had some recommendations and what my husband read online looked like AmeriFreight is a good company so he picked them. We got a free quote and it was fair. But by the time all was said and done, the final cost was more than the quote that was given at the start.
Our transport organizer was Ben and he was communicative. I knew what was going on because he told me. I was in a difficult situation but I felt comfortable approaching him and he was good to work with. I was pleased with the carrier too because they also communicated. They were glad that I was willing to meet them at Walmart because that gave them a much better area for pick up. They told me a time when they thought they would be there, give or take a little, and they were gonna let me know. Then I was in the parking lot waiting for them at the time they said they would be there. Then they called and said that they were gonna be delayed by four or five hours. I understood and I said that I will be back since I had a dinner engagement. Then they called me again later and said it would be a couple of hours later.
It turned out 8 or 8:30 when they met me in the parking lot. They asked if I wanted them to wait until tomorrow. I said, "No," because my flight plan was leaving and I needed to get the car. We did it that night and they came and met me in the parking lot. They took lots of photos then put the car on and away they went. The car was transported through our daughter in Minneapolis because it is a much better area than Duluth where we are. Then they communicated with my daughter and had the car delivered there in Minneapolis. The transport took 3 days and they certainly delivered it in a timely fashion. Also, the car was good when I got it.
For what the situation was, I was pleased with the way it went and the outcome. Everybody had the same goal which was to get the car to us and the car arrived. The whole thing was fair but then there were fees for AmeriFreight. So, all of a sudden, things aren't with what the bottom line looked like, but it is what it is. It wasn't cheap but I'd certainly recommend the service if you need it.

I bought a vehicle in Washington State and I live in Pennsylvania. I looked up about a half dozen transport companies on the web and narrowed it down to about three, and then I had to just pick one. AmeriFreight has a nice website and had a good estimate when they laid out on what the process entailed. But in retrospect, I realized that nobody really gives an accurate quote. They just throw something out there. The problem is that one gets a quote from somebody who’s a middleman, so they don’t really know how much it’s gonna cost in the end. It’s not just AmeriFreight and I think they all operate that way.
The AmeriFreight organizer explained the process and it took me a little while to understand. They’re the broker and they were in charge of raising or lowering the price on the board to try to find me a trucking company. I felt a little disconnected from the process, but I didn’t feel like they were pulling anything over on me or that they were any different than any other broker would be. So, I wasn’t dissatisfied but I was confused. There was a learning curve but that they were helpful when I needed to ask questions. Then the driver who came was very friendly, and we found him a place where he could pull his truck up. He was really good. The transport took 6 days from beginning to end.

I know that other people have nightmares with this but for us our AmeriFreight experience was easy. They picked the car up on time and the guys were really good.
The only miscommunication that we had was that they were actually gonna deliver the car three days early so we weren’t ready for it. And there was a little bit of a glitch in the communication with the driver. But it wasn’t really a big deal because what ended up happening was that they delivered the car exactly on the date that they said they were going to so our experience was very good.

I had them transport my car from California to Florida and they set it up for me. The first time they called, I wasn’t ready yet and my son wasn’t home so they couldn’t pick up the car. They cancelled that time and then set it up with somebody else. They called to let me know that and when they were gonna pick it up. They came around the same time that they told me.
I talked to the man who was driving the truck. He kept in touch with me and told me exactly when he would be there at my place. He was on time and it was great dealing with him. The AmeriFreight rep did not find a driver until right at the last moment. I don't think they really start looking until it gets closer to a certain time. The rep waited so long that the price of it changed to about $400 more than what was originally quoted. I was hoping they had somebody that they dealt with regularly.
AmeriFreight gave me the name and contact details of the driver. I contacted him and he told me that he would be in my area in about six hours. So it was a last minute pick up. Luckily I had already cleaned and waxed, and took everything out. I waited for the driver and he showed up on time with the truck that had two other vehicles on it. AmeriFreight's rates seemed to be fine. Also, there seemed to be a language barrier between myself and the transporter. I wish I could say that was the only issue. My car was a sports car and they had a bit of an issue getting it on the trailer. I specified this prior to pickup. Still, this wasn't a huge issue and there wasn't any damage prior to the pick-up. However, The initial quote came in at $990 and when they called me back, it was already over $1,400 and I was stumped with that. That was when I was informed that AmeriFreight was just a bidding company and they bid out to different areas, different companies and whoever comes in with the lowest bid was who they went with. In the end, there was no damage when the car got down at its destination.
Also, the rep told me towards the end that she had sent me an email saying that if I could do a review, this and that would happen. I went on BBB and left a review though the lady at AmeriFreight must've sent me five more emails requesting a review. Finally I told them that they were killing me with the process and that they should stop sending me emails. I haven't gotten anything since. So it never happened on Saturday. And then they said, "maybe Monday." I told them, "You told me Friday. I had another price of $1,200 from another place but AmeriFreight said they could do it for $950. The internet price I got was $910 but the verbal price was $950 so I agreed to that, and then a few days later, their sales person called and said she could get my truck moved for $1,500. And when I told her I agreed to $950, she said it was a two tag team. They could get it up in a really short period because there were two drivers in the truck. I still said I’ve agreed to $950. And she asked if I would be able to go to $1,200. I told her that was the price I had from somebody else, but then I agreed to their $1,200. And then a day or two later, she called back and said she had one for $1,250 which I agreed to. But the overall experience is not too good because they didn’t live up to the price that they told me.
On the day of the delivery, I could hardly talk to the driver because his English’s not so good, but he was on time. And fortunately, the dealer who I bought it from took a photograph of it when it was loaded on the car carrier. The truck arrived undamaged, and it looked just like it was in the same spot. It hasn’t been moved. So the guy who brought it up never had to reach out for it. The car carrier wasn’t a decent quality but it wasn’t a really piece of junk, so that was good.
Overall, it was the bait and hook thing that I didn’t like. They baited me in with a low price then hooked me with a higher price. If they give a price, they should live up to it. They made me believe they were gonna find a driver to bring it up to that low of a price, and then they didn't. And then the sales rep also said it was a bigger truck but she knew the size of the truck. I told her it was a Suburban so that was enough to know they needed a bigger truck. And also, when she quoted me the prices, she knew where the truck was coming from and going to. And she was giving me excuses why she couldn’t get it for me for $950. This was the first time I got a car transport like it, so I didn’t know all the ropes in the way things work. So I kind of negotiated with my agent. They wanted to do like $1,500 and I said, “Well, I'd rather do like $1,200."
Both AmeriFreight and I had difficulty contacting the carrier. I just wanted kind of a ballpark so I could plan my week, like I don’t need a date, just tell me where you are. But we eventually got a hold of the carrier and they said that the delivery will be within 24 hours and I said, “Okay, no problem.” And so they called me the next morning. I showed up and got the vehicle without an issue.

My experience with AmeriFreight was really good. And I moved from LA to Florida for work and I had them ship my car. I was very new to this process, so I was seeing a few other people and then some of their comments definitely was concerning. And when I came across AmeriFreight, they definitely had a lot more positive reviews. It’s just a level of trust especially since it is my car. It's been my baby for a while so I don't wanna take any chances on it. And the company was paying for it too, so I wasn't too price-conscious. My transport organizer was good, very knowledgeable, and definitely very helpful in helping me understand the different types of insurance that goes into shipping a car, which I thought was very beneficial. We didn’t have any issues on pickup and delivery. I was not there to pick the car up, but the carrier driver was able to coordinate with a friend of mine.

AmeriFreight had a pretty good rating overall online. I talked to the organizer over the phone and she seemed pretty nice, and it took six days for the car to be delivered. The final price was a little more than the initial quote due to the insurance but that was expected.

My daughter moved to the West Coast so we needed to ship the car out there. I've done some research and I know there are some issues in the industry. AmeriFreight looked good and they seemed to have some good assessments so that was how I chose them. I communicated with them initially. And then, they were fairly clear about what mechanics were gonna be. And then, I contacted them again about before the transport firm was selected because I wasn't quite sure about when to expect the process. But then it all went off right at the time they’d mentioned. So there was another transport company, their price was too high. But then another one popped up almost immediately so that was good. The driver who picked up the vehicle seemed like a nice man. The transport was quick also. It was picked up on a Saturday and it was delivered on a Wednesday. It was convenient and if I had to do it again, I would use AmeriFreight again.

I did my research 2 months in advance before contacting this transport company since I had a bad experience before. I spoke to a Harry **. I told him about my horrible experience with a different co and he was sympathetic. I explained to him that I needed my car picked up by a certain date because we were moving cross country. I emphasized the importance of the car being picked up on a Friday because we were leaving by airplane on the following Tuesday. He stated that it would not be a problem and the economy rate was $1100. He stated that since I am calling 2 months in advance it shouldn't be a problem. I hadn't heard from in after a month so I called back to make sure everything was still good.
He said, "It's still early you're ok." I called back 2 weeks before the pickup date and he stated he's still waiting for a driver to pick up the order. It's still early. It's the Thursday before the pickup date and he says he's still waiting on a driver to pick up the order and the rate is up to $1600 now. Friday comes and STILL NOTHING! Needless to say my husband and I are fuming!!! Still NOTHING! I call to speak to his manager Jorge **. (I think that was his name.) I explain the whole situation to him and he's not sympathetic. He tells me Harry ** is the best. He explains to me the difference of an economy rate and a first class rate (a guaranteed pickup).
I told him Harry did not explain that and if that was the case I would have called a different co to transport my car. Why would Harry put me on an economy rate when I told him I needed my car guaranteed pick up since we were flying out. Jorge's only solution was to find a driver at the very LAST minute to pick up my car. Do you know what that would have cost me??? OVER $2K! I didn't have time for this kind of game. They put me in a horrible situation AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE. My husband and I ended up DRIVING from FL to WA. We lost the cost of our airline tickets. Harry ** attitude was Oh. Oh well! TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Don't let the good ratings fool you cause it surely did FOOL US! Totally messed us up!!! BTW it took us 6 days of driving to get there. If you still want to use this company make sure you do not work with HARRY **. He answers you HANG UP and get someone ELSE!!! That ** was the worst!!! Use any transportation company that IS NOT A BROKER. Use a transportation company that have their own drivers. If I could I wouldn't even give a star. AGAIN HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I didn’t figure it out for a while but I figured it out eventually. I did a lot of looking around before I saw AmeriFreight and almost switched just because of that. The final cost was $1,400 and the initial quote was $900. But the carrier driver was spectacular. He was very easy to get along with and he stayed in contact with me once we connected. So even during the transport and after he dropped it off, he was a very friendly fellow.

AmeriFreight is an excellent company with a great website. I love the website and how easy it is to get some quotation. I shipped three cars with AmeriFreight, and the most recent one was the Range Rover Classic that I sent up to Chicago from Tampa Bay. I sold it to a collector and AmeriFreight came by and picked it up. I’ve always had good experience with Danielle. She always hooks me up with the drivers and it has been seamless. In fact, somebody just purchased a Jaguar from me, and he’s in Virginia. So I’m hoping that Danielle and the buyer will get together and then we’ll be shipping that one off here this week.
Danielle always kept her word on everything and helped me set up. I call her and she sends me a consent. And the most recent delivery driver was good. He was very polite. Danielle helped me out with a Jensen Interceptor down in Fort Lauderdale. And they picked it up Friday and dropped it off Monday. It was brilliant. And then I had to wait three days for them to come for the Chicago trip. But once they got it, it was in Chicago within three days. Overall, they’re better than the other transportation company I’ve ever used. AmeriFreight was very easy to deal with and we’ll definitely use them again.

We were moving from Maryland to Washington state and AmeriFreight had pretty good reviews. I wasn’t familiar with the whole process and it was very confusing. I contacted them at least a month prior and they said they couldn’t lock down any carriers until almost two days prior. And then ultimately, they called a day prior but the price was way higher than what they originally quoted. There were two carriers that responded and another company, but I waited on AmeriFreight. When I got that price, I called the other company back who said that it was kinda the going price because they all go through the same distribution board. I couldn't get it cheaper so I called AmeriFreight back and told them I would take it.
The pick up wasn’t door to door, but I was fine with that because I lived in the city in Baltimore. I know and he explained that his truck couldn’t fit on certain overpasses. I met him at a truck stop and it was only like six minutes away. But it ended up being rushed and it was almost 11:30 at night. We were gonna fly the next day.
We kept good contact during delivery and the driver gave me a call two days before saying he was in Montana. Then, I gave him my address. Again, he couldn’t really have the truck where we were. But it was walking distance so I was able to meet him. And then he unloaded the vehicle. I walked around the vehicle and I checked everything. I signed the paper and everything was good. But after I got back to my house, I noticed the luggage rack had scratches on them. I took pictures. But then, I realized that I didn’t purchase the insurance they offered and then I didn’t catch it when I was doing the acceptance. So, that was a bummer too.

I was shipping from California to Pennsylvania for work and I got a list of transport companies and AmeriFreight had the best quote. I contacted them a week before I wanted the car to be picked up. And then they came up with different offers and different carriers. I chose the one that gave me the best quote on the carrier price. That process took about two weeks.
They responded to every call, and they also gave me an option to make payments online on the time of delivery, so that was flexible. The pick-up guy called me on time. He also just drove me back to my home because the pick up location was half a mile away from my home. So, he was good. AmeriFreight was local in Georgia and the quote they gave me was in line with everybody else. They kept me informed what was going on. Once they located someone, they told me who it was. They gave me a little background about the particular person that was going to do the pick up and delivery. But something happened to their truck. AmeriFreight was able to find another driver and put me in contact with him, and they followed up a couple of times. The new driver called and checked in a few times, letting me know where he was at, when to expect him, and when he was getting close.
AmeriFreight did a great job and I was very happy. The truck arrived on time with no damage. They kept in contact, which was a great thing. They made me feel comfortable that somebody was on it and they were looking out for me. They was just following up and it meant a lot. I know they give her enough because that lady was fantastic. It took 6 days for my vehicle to ship from Pennsylvania to California through them. It was pretty quick. I called and they picked it up the same day. They were amazing.
The quote I was given was a couple of hundred more than the other company but it was short notice. I wish it was lower, but there was nothing I could do about it. The driver, Ricky, called me immediately within hours and he came directly out of New Jersey. He said, “Hey, I'll be there at this time. Can I come get it?” He worked it out with me and came to me and the truck was gorgeous. It was enclosed and it was hell nice. My vehicle was in there with like a Tesla and a Lamborghini and some others. I would use them again in a heartbeat whether I use AmeriFreight or not.
They called my brother en route and the drop off on the other end was immediate and flexible. The vehicle arrived with not a scratch on it, so well done. Don’t ship with anybody else. AmeriFreight it. That was my one and only time to ship a vehicle, but I would absolutely go to them first and give them right of first refusal after the service I received.

They call you all the time and give updates on where your car is at and when they're gonna pick up -- making sure the pick-up occured. I've done big household move as well, and by far, shipping a car is a lot easier. The carrier driver was also professional. He has thorough knowledge of all different cars. I had a BMW and he didn't scratch it up. He was very friendly unlike most of the carrier drivers.
But they should be a little more honest in explaining the whole brokering system that they are a part of, like how it was gonna work and how their price is gonna come up, or maybe it might not hit on the price, instead of you figuring it out after, for those who are first-time movers. My price went up $1,000 compared to what I was quoted but it was within the budget. From beginning to end, the process took maybe two and a half to three weeks, which is well within their timeline. However, the company that I chose screwed me over because on the day that they were supposed to pick up my car, no one came. So, during the days that they were completely unresponsive to me, I decided to go to with AmeriFreight. After I went with them, it just all fell into place. Their representative Allison was super nice and was very sympathetic about my situation. She handled all the details too, so the whole process was as easy as it should be. AmeriFreight was very timely as well. They were able to schedule a driver a few days after I had signed the contract with them and everything just went smoothly after that. The delivery took almost a week, but for a 2,000+ mile move, that was to be expected. The only thing was, in the rush of me explaining everything to Allison and all the things that were going on, I never asked how much AmeriFreight charges as their broker fee on top of the driver expenses. My wife and I were moving to a different state and we felt that given the distance and the fact that the car likes to drink gasoline like it was water, then driving it would not be prudent. We decided to have it shipped and being as it's my favorite car right now, I didn't want to have any damage. I did a quick search online for some car haulers and there were some names that came up that I recognized, like Reliable Transport. I contacted them to get quotes and some of them said that they don't deliver to the area or they couldn't pick-up from where we were. I looked at reviews and other data for AmeriFreight then decided to go ahead, call and schedule with them. They were at the lower end of the bids, but not the lowest. Then the guy who came and picked the car up was nice. He showed up a little late from the time-frame I was given but he was nice and actually quick. And he walked around the vehicle and made note of whatever minor damage there was to it, and then loaded it in the trailer. Then he arrived down here for delivery a day earlier than expected. He dropped the car off and it was in the same condition just when it left. It was a nice, easy transaction. My daughter was relocating to Washington. But when I had spoken to each person from the quote that I got AmeriFreight just seemed friendlier. The initial quote changed by approximately $275.
But the transport organizer, Harry, was very friendly and was upfront. Others tried to sell me insurance for the vehicle, but they have things covered under their vehicle insurance. He kind of explained the bare bones and what I needed and what I didn’t need. It felt that he was being honest. There are things that I can add on and he explained the pros and cons to each additional thing that I could purchase shipping my car, which I found to be very helpful.
The carrier drivers got stuck in traffic because we live south of Boston. They called us that, "We're running about an hour late. We're sitting in traffic," which is understandable for the time of night they were coming down because it was right through rush hour. They explained their situation. They got here and they were great. They went all over the vehicle, loaded the vehicle without a problem, and it was very positive. I had my apprehensions. I was like, "Oh, my God. These guys are gonna go cross country." And they're like, "No. We do this all the time."
They delivered it to the location with no problem. They called my daughter and said "We'd be out tomorrow between such and such a time," and she was like, "Yup." Sure enough, other than being dirty on the exterior, which is fully to be expected, I was glad we did it. I was very satisfied. And I could say that because several years ago my sister-in-law moved to Florida and she transported her car and when they came to pick it up, she had to pay $250 more so the quote given to her did not hold up. But it did with AmeriFreight with what they quoted me. We had a cashier's check for the amount, which when the drivers came I said my daughter's gonna have a cashier's check in a certain amount. And sure enough, there's a cashier's check enough to go. It all worked out great.
And the transport was done in a short window that I called because we had to have at Washington by the first week of May. And I called in the middle of April and they were like, "Oh, short time frame. But these carriers go across country all the time. This is their job, back and forth." And they did. We kind of altered the dates a little and I have to say, Harry from AmeriFreight was great in working to get it there by a specific date. They worked with me to get an arrival date in Washington and get a carrier that would take it directly there. I love them.

I shipped my old car to my mom. I had chosen a company, I booked an appointment, I paid the fee and I didn't hear from them for two weeks. I Googled car transport and AmeriFreight had a good rating by the Better Business Bureau. And some of the responses at ConsumerAffairs were great. So, I crossed my fingers and chose them. The person I worked with was great. She responded immediately, stayed in touch, kept me updated, called me a day before and told me that she had a driver available and gave me some times. During the transportation she called and asked if I had any questions. I like the fact that they were communicating with me throughout the whole process.
The quote that they gave me was comparable to the other quotes I had received. I booked it on Monday, they came and got it on Tuesday, and they got here Thursday. It was within the timeframe that they said it would be. Once the driver was about to deliver the car, he contacted me as well as my mom to make us aware that he was on his way. He called when he was on his way and sent a text when he got on the road. He was a good communicator. If I have to ever transport a car, I would definitely utilize AmeriFreight again. My experience was great and I'd recommend them.

I was moving out of state and I needed to ship my vehicle. AmeriFreight had a 5-star rating, so I went with them. It was so easy to transact with their transport organizers. But the quote they gave me doubled eventually. They tried their best though and I couldn't blame anybody for it. We had a miscommunication along the way and I would blame it on that. Other than that, they communicated with me, then the carrier drivers called me. They were real professionals and very good guys. And they arrived at the exact time they said they would be there.

I had looked AmeriFreight up on the internet and they had evidently good reviews with the Better Business Bureau. However, I wasn't too pleased with my experience with them. I came on, signed up with one price, knowing that it might go up a little, but it took so long to hook up with the driver. I was pins and needles the whole time. I was in limbo constantly.
I was leaving Florida and I had my ride, so I knew when I was leaving. The car had to be picked up before that and it didn't get picked up until the day before, which was not a problem if I knew it. It was just I didn't have any advance notice except the day before. And I had to pay top-dollar to get that after I had been on for quite a while. I started out with a figure of $685 and I wound up paying $1,030. And that's a heck of a difference. The rep of AmeriFreight did tell me it might go up to $700, and I was aware of that. But he had a hard time finding a carrier and when he finally got somebody, it was $1,030.
The carrier picked it up and then it was a day later when I was supposed to get the car, I couldn't get in touch with the driver. I thought his last stop was Philly, but he actually went to Philly before he came to me. Then he said the truck broke down, a million excuses. And I had to meet him with cash. It seemed like the communication with him was bad too.

I was moving and it seemed like AmeriFreight were the ones that would help me. The price I was given seemed like everybody else and it was reasonable. Also, my interactions with the transport organizer and the carrier driver were good. The whole process took about two weeks and they communicated with me during that time.

AmeriFreight helped move my mom's vehicle. I decided to do it with them because they were listed on the Better Business Bureau website and they had good reviews. Their quote was a bit higher than what other companies were offering, but they were insured. I had a really bad experience with one other company before. So I think AmeriFreight has a fair price.
The transport organizer kept us very well-informed and he was able to work with us in very short notice. I'm very happy with their service. Their delivery of the vehicle was very efficient. These guys came in at very short notice, after I had that bad experience with the other company and helped me out. And the person showed up with the vehicle in good condition on the day that was scheduled. I will recommend them.

I was moving from the West to the East Coast. I used AmeriFreight for shipping my vehicle because they appeared to have better reviews than other transporters and they met the needs for like insurance and things. The transport organizers were polite and helpful too. I did have to pay $300 more though because I had a narrow timeframe. But I believe for the total cost, the quality was great. They're reasonably reliable as well.

I graduated college out in California and was moving back home to Tennessee. I needed to ship my vehicle and when I got bids from several different companies, AmeriFreight ended up being $200 cheaper than anybody else. So, I went with them. The quote they gave me was more than fair though it was a big rigmarole because the quote I was given was given by somebody that got fired during the time it was given to me and it ended up being a big thing. But they still stuck to what I was originally quoted and were very apologetic about the issue.
I dealt with AmeriFreight's reps on the phone and they were very friendly. I never had any trouble getting a hold of them or them getting a hold of me. Most of the time, I was kinda worried if I was hearing back and if I needed to hear back more frequently but they called me every couple of days to let me know everything was okay. And even while the truck was on the road, they were calling with updates. So, they were very good.,
The guy that ended up delivering the car out was also very good. He gave me a cellphone number so I was able to text him. About halfway through the transport, I shot him a text and asked how everything was going and he replied within the hour. Then the pickup and drop-off went very smoothly. The whole process took six days which was a lot sooner than I thought it was gonna be. AmeriFreight was great all around and I would recommend them to my friends who are looking for somebody that they can trust with their vehicle. I would tell them that AmeriFreight's customer service and everything they did for me were topnotch.

I was changing my place of residence from Maryland to California and went with AmeriFreight for their reliability. I received a call and I was told the process and everything that could go right and wrong. All the instructions were clear and I knew what I was getting into. I wasn't kept up-to-date during the transport, but at the very beginning and at the end, I got notifications. The move took about six days which was reasonable. My final payout changed a little and I was told it was due to the timing. I shipped from late May to June and that time was apparently a very busy time. Also, I gave about 10 days’ notice only and I was told that given more time, they would have been able to negotiate the price down.

I got a new job in Noodz and I was moving from Florida to Washington. I did some research online and AmeriFreight seemed like the best option for shipping my vehicle. So, I went with them. The quote they gave me was pretty reasonable and it went up a couple hundred bucks in the end, but I expected that. I worked with Alicia and she was on top of our transaction. She helped me out a lot. I scheduled a little too late so she worked with me a little bit to help the process move along and it worked out. Then, their guy was a couple of days late for the delivery because his truck broke down. His timing was a little off during the day, too. When I was supposed to pick up my car, he said 1:00 pm, but it was actually 8 o’clock in the morning. Other than that, things went fine and the whole transport took nine days. All in all, I had good communication with AmeriFreight and they were easy to work with.

AmeriFreight did a good job and I was happy.

My wife and I were moving from California to Alabama. AmeriFreight ended up having the best reviews that I found and they were able to do it quickly, so I went with them. I contacted the driver as he was picking up my car and when he got it out, my father was the one who received the car because I was still out there. He called me and let me know that it was there. It was a great experience and I'd recommend AmeriFreight. My dad knows people in the car freight business and they said typically they charge about 75 cents to the mile and AmeriFreight charged less, so I was happy.

I needed shipping for a relocation and AmeriFreight had a good quote. However, the quote I saw wasn’t exactly what I ended up paying, and they need to be a little more clear on that. The organizer stayed in touch, followed up and relayed all pertinent information at the time. The dispatch got in touch with me before he arrived. He also got in touch with me a couple of hours before he arrived at the location to pick up and to drop-off. The car arrived when they said it would, and the driver was professional and polite. I’d tell others to go ahead and give them a call.

Initially AmeriFreight posted the rate of seven hundred and something dollars, and then when they ultimately shipped it, it was double. The rate would sit out there for months and they said that was normal and when it got closer to the time they would start increasing the price. They called me and said, “We can pick it up tomorrow,” which was the first day of my window that I need it to go. And they said it was $1,400 instead of $700. But the transport organizer and the carrier driver were nice. They called when they got close and set up a delivery. The transport went smooth.

I am happy with my experience with AmeriFreight. If you wanna ship your car with no problem, these are the guys to go to. I had shipped my daughter's car about four times already and some of them were a total disaster, but with AmeriFreight, everything was good. My daughter graduated from college and she was coming back home to get her license. I did the research and AmeriFreight has good results on Yelp. I also called around and talked to a couple of people. The people involved called me back.
The guy who worked with me originally said he would try and get something moving. He really didn't want me in at all, which I liked that. Then, he told me that he got somebody that would book me and put me on schedule. I also told him that I wanted a reputable company that has a trailer because I had one guy ship my car and he came up in a three-wheeler. It was a double-wide with a trailer on back and I was not happy with that. He understood that and everything was done right. I booked the car early and then once the driver picked up the car in Chicago, it only took about four days to get all the way over to Scottsdale, Arizona. I'll definitely use AmeriFreight again.

I was relocating from Arizona to Florida and was looking at the reviews of transport companies, and AmeriFreight had the best review. I took advantage of their free quote option and was given a good quote. I ended up paying a little different price but that was okay. Alisha, the transport organizer, contacted me when I was in need to contact the driver. And that was nice. Also, when the vehicle arrived here, I was still in Arizona but someone else picked it up, and Alisha let me know that happened. Then, she followed up with me throughout the process.

AmeriFreight gave me the lowest price among the quotes that I got to ship my vehicle when I moved from East Coast to West Coast. I also had a good time working with Larry, the transport organizer. I had several phone calls with him and he let me know how this operates and also gave me the information about the drivers. The driver was professional too. He always texted me half an hour before his arrival.
