When we were moving from California to Georgia, AmeriFreight was the only transport company that responded to an inquiry. Initially, I felt that the quote was a little over than what I had anticipated. But being in the situation I was in of only having one offer, that’s what we went with. I worked with a broker to identify the driver. I connected with him multiple times via phone and email and had very positive interactions with their carrier driver. The vehicle was picked up on a Friday and then it was delivered on the following Thursday. I’d recommend them to my family if I needed to use a transporter for cross country. They were very streamlined and straightforward. In the end, it was worth the extra dollar figure.

I live in North Carolina and I sold a vehicle to my daughter who lives in Pittsburgh. I transported it through AmeriFreight, which took three days, and the experience went fine. The transport organizer was very helpful and the quote that they gave me, though higher than what I wanted, was okay.

The organizer was very helpful and she kept in contact. Also, the quote was what it was. We sped the process up so it cost a little bit more but she told us that upfront. The transport took about a week and a half. The carrier driver answered her phone every time I called her and told me where she was at. We knew what was going on the whole time and she took the car right to the door where it was to be delivered.

I had to take pictures of me holding measurements, which I think was a miscommunication between the rep Danielle and the truck driver. Then at the pick-up site, the driver didn’t have the paperwork for when you walk around the vehicle to check it, to look for damage and to make sure that nothing is missing. When he delivered it, he also didn’t have any of that. And that’s even after I had already talked to Danielle, and she said that the driver has to have that all fixed.

We have a distribution agreement to distribute a certain vehicle in South Florida and there was a boat show. We had a lot of showings coming that week, and so we were trying to ship the vehicle down there. The transport took longer than a week and all the timing was perfect.

Their employees are willing participant is the lies told daily by the company. How do I know you ask? I had to let go of my truck's dispatcher and told her to give this company a call since she lived nearby. The lengths this company goes to trick people is sickening. What does this company tell them the price is 950. I know you must think well the customer is saving 400... Wrong.

AmeriFreight had good reviews. It came across as reliable and trusted. We used them for our move to a different state. Their rep was very detailed in the process and on how it was going to go. The initial quote was super low and I didn't know what the rationale behind it was. Eventually, the market value was too high. We closed to a quote that was closer to the market value than what was initially told. I understand that it's a bidding process. But during the quote process, I wish the quote can be a number which is much closer to the final value and not too much of a difference. My thing was roughly $500 off from my initial estimate. But overall, it was a nice experience. The driver was very courteous and friendly. Our whole interaction was very smooth. For the move, they committed to be done within five days and as they said, even with the bad weather conditions, everything went as expected.

I looked at a lot of transport companies and the surveys and AmeriFreight came out as being the number one. They gave me the lowest quote which was $874 and it was good. What the quote means is you have an indefinite time period on when you need the service. They're just a broker so they're looking for somebody. They may find someone to do it for that job, but nobody has six months to ship the product. That's exactly what happened. He said, "Nobody really gets that low rate."

I was relocating for work purposes from Southern California to San Antonio, Texas. I did a bunch of research on transportation companies and I contacted quite a few of them. AmeriFreight wasn't throwing others under the bus and that was what drew me to them. They were focused very much on the service that they provided and not trying to sway me as to why I shouldn't look at other people's quotations. I went online, put in an inquiry and then their rep, Jarrell, gave me a call. He worked out the details and gave me a quote. He was also the transport organizer and he did fine. He was communicative. We were always on the phone and it was a good experience. The carrier driver was professional. He was prepared and he got the job done. My vehicle arrived in the same condition that I shipped it in.

AmeriFreight was one of the vendors that the broker used. She did everything and the quote that I got was reasonable compared to the other ones. The driver contacted me repeatedly and let me know where he was. I called on Thursday and the car was delivered on Saturday.

I moved from New Mexico to California and got my car shipped through AmeriFreight. Both the transport organizer and the driver were very polite and appropriate. I had great interaction with them. I expected that they were to end up increasing the price, and I actually paid more than their initial quote, because I was told it's a little out of the way area. The irking part, however, was the week distance, then I had to pay extra to keep the car in a parking place. I had to arrange for the vehicle to be in another place, and it ended up being picked up days later than I expected. I could have left it with somebody that I know. And then, I had to wait several days until it arrived. I was hoping for less time frame.

I was moving from California to Indiana and I needed to ship my car. I was looking at a website that had all the shipping companies and AmeriFreight had the best reviews. I took advantage of their free quote option online. It was really easy to get through their website and find everything, and the quote that I was given was a bit cheaper. I was working and I couldn't talk on the phone so my interactions with the transport organizer were done through email. The transport took about five or six days. The carrier driver called me the day before and asked me if I could pick the vehicle up early, which I didn't mind. I got my car earlier than expected, which was a good thing, and it was the same condition as I had left it when they picked it up.

AmeriFreight's rate was good and their rep was very communicative. She explained the process to me entirely. However, it was confusing because of all the brokers who sent me a quote, AmeriFreight was the cheapest and they had really good reviews. But later on, I came to know that the person who was willing to get my vehicle traveled was quoting a bit higher. I was sort of upset but I got to understand the cost entirely thanks to Nicole. The delivery was smooth and took about a week as promised.

I was moving from East Coast to West Coast. It was last minute for me to ship my car and I needed it to be moved within two or three days. AmeriFreight had good reviews on Yelp and it sounded trustable. The quote that I was given was close and even though the quote changed afterwards, they didn't go ahead unless I agreed with that price. I found that process okay. Samantha, the person I was directed with, was really great. This was my first time moving my car and I didn't know the process at all. But she explained everything and answered all my questions so it was great. The carrier driver was very pleasant and nice. I couldn't drive to the location he was parked so he came all the way to my door and took my car. The whole delivery process took five days. They picked it up on 22nd and I got the vehicle on 27th. My vehicle was same upon its arrival. It had some dust but it was fine.

AmeriFreight was the most responsive over other companies so I went with them when I was moving from North Carolina to California. Their reps explained the whole process well so I knew that the quote that was initially given wasn’t necessarily gonna be the final quote. They managed the overall process fine and it worked out good in the end. I was able to get my car here in three days which was very, very quick for me. It was much faster than I thought and that was the best part of my experience. And the vehicle was good when it arrived. It was a good experience overall.

They said that the cost was based off of the haggling situation with the actual transporter. However, the quote that I was given ended up not being very accurate. Nevertheless, the courier driver was really good. He went over the pick-up/delivery form in detail and did really well with contacting me and letting me know where they were.

Shipping my vehicle is the easy way out rather than driving from Pennsylvania to Florida. But we had never used anything like it before so we're a little apprehensive that our car would wind up someplace. AmeriFreight's transport organizer was very helpful and knowledgeable. She walked me through the whole process and what was happening. Each person that I spoke to took their time to explain things to me. We had specific dates that we wanted it shipped so it cost us more, but whatever the cost was fine. Their carrier driver called me half an hour and had the time to let me know he would be there soon. He brought the car and took it off the truck. I parked it, and we spoke a little bit. The vehicle was dirty but we expected that since it was an open carrier. Other than that, everything went fine. I would recommend AmeriFreight.

I needed to get my daughter’s car to her in Florida. I was able to get a free quote from AmeriFreight and the price was just fine. It worked out fine with the organizer too. He seemed like a nice guy and was very cordial and informative. The delivery went okay. It took about four days which met the expectations set by the rep.

Other companies had lower ratings than AmeriFreight when I was moving to a different state and needed my car moved there. I went with them and their rep gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. He told me how the process would go and got everything set up for me that same day. He was very proactive. Also, the carrier driver was transparent about when he would be arriving and told me that he would call me a little closer to the pick up day so that he could give a more accurate estimate. It was a seamless process. When the vehicle arrived, it was in the same condition as when he picked it up.

I bought a vehicle at an auction and I needed it shipped. AmeriFreight was the first transport company that got back to me so I went with them. The quote that they gave me was a lot lower than what I got charged in the end. My interaction with the transport organizer was good. She did tell me that the price would fluctuate. And the driver called prior to coming to let me know when he was gonna be here. When he got here, he was very courteous. He asked me where I wanted the vehicle and he took the vehicle down where I wanted it. He was very friendly, very talkative and very nice.

I contacted other companies but their sales rep was excellent and a good communicator. The agent that I spoke with was very organized, timely and got back to me with a reasonable quote. It was a little early when the car was picked up as well as when it was dropped off. The car was in fine shape and there were no issues at all. It was a great experience.

They gave me around $520, and then they charged me 100 extra, so I paid 620. They said that was the amount they could provide me at the time. So, I thought, "Okay." Because it was close, I really need to move my vehicle, so I did that. However, it would be good if they could properly give us the right amount because when making the decision, $100 is almost 20% more the final price that they estimated. I was mentally ready that I needed to pay this much. But then the driver was okay and polite. Even though he did not know the news, he did not talk that much. Overall, AmeriFreight's service was great and excellent.

I bought a side-by-side utility vehicle in the Dallas area that needed to be shipped to Pennsylvania. I Googled transport companies and AmeriFreight came up on the top of the list. I filled out an online questionnaire, they contacted me and asked me some questions. We talked about what the range of price was. There was a couple of weeks delay until I got my purchase order and everything completed from the transaction. Once I gave them the green light about a week later, they came back with a couple of different options.

We were moving from Omaha to Texas and I needed to ship my car. I looked at three different companies and AmeriFreight had the best reviews. I did it online and their customer service called to let me know to confirm that they were gonna post my information up and I wouldn't hear from them till like the week before the pickup date. And then, I called because I was getting a little anxious. They told me that they found someone. Unfortunately, I couldn't meet the date that they had put down originally, so then they changed it for me. And then, the guy came and was awesome and got it down here for me.

I needed to transport across 2,300 miles since I moved and I talked to a lot of shipping companies. But a lot of them just wanted me to sign on the dotted line but they could not explain to me what I was signing. Then I talked to Samantha from AmeriFreight. She took the time to help me understand the industry and how it works so I eventually went with them. Their quote was low and way off though. I shipped three vehicles and the quote was $835 per vehicle. But two of them came in at over $1,300. Then with the last one, we could not get anybody to move it for $1,500 so we had to raise it by 200 bucks to $1,700. So the last one almost doubled on the quote.

I had a vehicle shipped for my office through AmeriFreight and the transport from beginning to drop-off took about a week so it was a little more time than the expected time frame of 24 to 48 hours. But the original quote they gave was pretty accurate.

Floyd had to deflate the tires in the one vehicle, so that he wouldn't damage the top of the car getting it on to and off of the transport. He aired them right back up. It was very thorough, and the cars were in good shape.

The original quote that I received was accurate, compared to the final cost of service, and I felt good about it. I had really good dealings with the transport organizers. They were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The transport was right on time and my vehicle arrived in pretty good condition.

Their service was pretty good. I opted for normal service and within the next day, the vehicle got picked up. Even from Florida to California, which is around 3,300 miles, they have delivered within four business days. Within the fifth day, I got my vehicle. So, even the transportation and the way that they care, it seems professional, so I'm positive towards AmeriFreight. The driver was very proficient as well, I've had excellent interactions with him.

I needed my car shipped quickly from California to Virginia, and AmeriFreight had very good reviews on the BBB and Google websites which was why I picked them. I did a quote online and I spoke to one of the representatives as well. The initial quote was a little lower than the final price that I ended up paying but they give you a disclaimer saying that, "This is just the beginning, and this might not be the actual price," so I can't complain. When they reached out to the actual people who ship the cars, that was the best quote that I got. The driver gave me his contact information and told me that I can call him anytime. So, anytime I called, he picked it up. I had a good interaction with the transport organizer and overall, I had a positive experience.

We were moving across the country from Pennsylvania to California and my wife found AmeriFreight. The organizer that I worked with did a very good job and found a good rate. He was very quick and his communication was very good, so I was happy with him. However, we had an issue with the truck that had a hole in it, so it got a lot of our things wet and some damaged. The actual driver didn't speak very good English and was rude. He made some big ruckus coming through the yard during pickup and delivery. He also didn't ask for any ID or name, so it was a little sketchy. I had someone else pick up because I wasn't in the state yet. The actual process of pickup and drop-off took around four days and the time frame was right on the money within a certain three or four-hour window.

A friend recommended AmeriFreight and I went directly to them. The quote was okay but I was expecting a quicker service because I had to send the car on a weekend. They told me that they didn’t work on weekends so, it was quite difficult for me. They charged me double but the car was shipped on a Sunday. The representative was fine and she did all that she could. I had to fly on Saturday and I couldn’t see the delivery person until he delivered the car on Monday. The car was very dirty and I couldn’t even see from the inside to the outside. Other than they don’t work on weekends, the experience was fine and it would be great if they could do that.

I bought a collector car down in Atlanta and I didn’t want to drive it up. I wanted to ship it from Atlanta to Minnesota and I kinda did a search. AmeriFreight had pretty good ratings, so I picked them. The price they gave me was realistic. The original quote was $900 and I paid $1,100. But the $200 was my decision since I put extra insurance on it. I also had a terrific experience with the rep who helped me organize the shipment. She followed up regularly and if the car was in transit, she'd call and let me know where it was. She was very good. My experience with the driver went okay as well. He didn’t speak English but he seemed smart and helped a lot even though I didn't know if he understood what I was saying. He was also very good about giving me plenty of time to know when he was gonna drop off the car.

I bought a car in New York, and I need it to be delivered to Miami. I went through the internet, and I saw that AmeriFreight had really good prices. I had super great interactions with the transport organizers. They were calling me every time to let me know what was the situation with the car. They gave me all the information I needed. It was an excellent service. The whole transport took five days. The driver showed up in my house, and he loaded the car with no problem. And I paid him the other part of the money that I had to give him, and I signed the papers. AmeriFreight is a great company. I will use them again if I need it.

I was making a cross country move and needed my car to go out at a specific time. I went online to see what was available and I got hundreds of people wanting to move my car which wasn't very helpful. Then, a friend said her neighbor used AmeriFreight and was pleased. The rep I spoke with was very easy to work with and provided me with all the information I needed to make sure that I had photographed the car appropriately for them to see if any damage came to the car when it was returned to me. The quote given to me was initially competitive. Then, I paid extra to have it picked up at a specific time instead of in a window but that was fine with me. They picked the car up when they said they were going to and it was delivered unscathed in a reasonable amount of time. AmeriFreight was very good from beginning to end and I would recommend them.

I was swapping my vehicles out and was flying back for Christmas so, I didn't wanna get delayed and have a 20-some hours’ drive on the way back. I shipped the vehicles back through AmeriFreight and ended up driving my other vehicle back after Christmas. I scheduled with them a month before I needed the vehicle shipped and everything was fine until three days before. They were completely unable to find any carriers and so, they ended up having to over double the price that I was quoted just to find somebody to pick it up. The price difference was told to me approximately seven hours before the vehicle was picked up, so I didn't have a whole lot of time to re-evaluate. However, it wasn’t completely their fault.

I was very happy with AmeriFreight. Whenever they set a certain day to deliver, when I talk to them they still say the same thing. I paid a little extra but they delivered it the same day I asked them to so that was a good thing, and that was what I liked about them. The transport organizer was very good. He called me three times. Whatever they told me, it was right the same day and the same time. Everything was correct.

Somebody called me back within a few hours after I requested for a quote online and it was exact compared to the final cost. I was very impressed with the transport organizer. He was a bit flustered and I guess he had quit the company he was with, but he was still delivering his last batch of cars. That was the only part that was off. I had a very good experience with AmeriFreight and I would definitely use them again if I need to ship a car.

It took six days from the time the vehicle was picked up to when it was delivered and there were no issues once it arrived.

After looking at several different companies and all their reviews, including reviews from the Better Business Bureau, I thought that AmeriFreight seemed the best overall. So, I went with them. The price they gave me was fair and the amount I pain in the end was close enough to what they quoted.

AmeriFreight had the best rating when I searched for a transport company for my move from Chicago to California. The rep contacted me and took care of my car's transportation. I got a fair quote from them. Everything was great.

I'm 77 and my partner is 85. We felt that driving was a high-risk situation for us and the reason why I went with AmeriFreight was that $700 possibility. But I didn't quite understand that that would be off-season. The probability was very small that the $700 quote would be in-season. You go into a casino hoping to win and you go with the lowest possibility of $700 to get 1,600 miles down to Florida. But at a certain time of year, the probability is far greater that you're going with the top dollar. That wasn't clear. What I thought from what AmeriFreight wrote and from the person I dealt with was that we could go out there at $700 and see who would bid it. But nobody did. We were wanting to get down here a certain time because we had non-refundable airline tickets. And the fact was that we were looking at a time in October when people were starting to ship down for the snowbirds.

I bought a vehicle from across country and had it shipped to me through AmeriFreight. The lady was very responsive. AmeriFreight's customer service is really good. I could always get in touch with them. It's just that they could never get a hold of the broker, that was shipping the car, in a timely manner. When I asked if they got the car the broker was impossible to get a hold of. It took a couple days for them to even give a response. I only got a callback when AmeriFreight tried to reach out to them. I got a call back a day or two later saying, "Hey, here it is." But every time I tried to call the broker directly, there was no answer.

I was moving a vehicle from East Coast to West Coast where I’m currently living and since I had used AmeriFreight four-ish years ago for a similar route with a different vehicle, I went straight to them. With the first time, I went through a few different options on the website and it still worked but this time, their website has improved a lot. It was a lot easier to navigate as far as trying to check and make sure that they’re still decent. The service provider I got was also very prompt. They were prompt last time as well but this time, he called me back within 24 hours with a carrier option. He was also able to advise me based off of the patterns for the season as far as if there was a good likelihood where we would get additional options and what the price range would be within those options.

Since I was moving back home, I needed to ship my car from California to Georgia. I called three different people and I saw five different companies on the internet. The guy from AmeriFreight was very upfront and informative. He told me how it was and how it was done. He also informed me on how the system works. And as with the other company, he kinda warned me on what they would do.

My initial estimate was for $1063. This was for the "economy" pricing. I actually read the terms and understood that there was around a 35% chance of this price happening as it is contingent upon carriers basically filling empty space on an existing run. Based on that, I planned on paying a bit more to get my vehicle moved. Richard did a great job of keeping me in the loop while finding a carrier to transport my RX-7 from Kansas to Oregon. I took a couple offers from carriers either coming in way overestimated price ($1400) or wanting to pick up the next day or in a few hours from initial contact before we found one that worked.

We just moved from West Coast to the East Coast and needed to ship our vehicle. We went to AmeriFreight because of the price. And while the original quote was fine, it bumped up about 40%. It went up towards what the other quotes were and I fully understood why so I'm not complaining. Everything went smoothly with our transport organizer, Danielle. And although I haven't given any money, I was committed. I've never done it before so having the car transported properly in a timely fashion was more of the issue than anything else and it worked out great.

The quote we were given didn’t change too. The shipping process took three days. The whole experience was something that I would highly recommend. After reading a lot of reviews about this business itself, I know that you can have good experiences and bad ones. I had a good one.

AmeriFreight gave me the most reasonable price, while the other companies are charging $1,500 or more. And with AmeriFreight, I found someone to take the car the day after I called. The rep who organized the shipment called me ahead of time and I just gave the car to the guy. He went over the car and made sure he wrote down if it had scratches or anything. And then, he put the car in and gave me the paper for me to sign. They got the car delivered around the day they said they were gonna get there and it arrived exactly how it left.

My boss goes back and forth to the East Coast every summer and she takes her car with her, so we needed it to be shipped back. Our previous transport company was way more expensive, so she wanted me to research. I found AmeriFreight and their initial quote turned out to be a little over what we paid, but it was understandable. It was also the lowest quote we got and the car arriver in good condition. Moreover, the rep we dealt with was just terrific. She kept on checking back with us, but didn't check back with us too much. She was on-the-ball. And the carrier driver spoke English. It's always easier when they speak English.

The quote was a little higher than some of the online quotes but I felt safer with them as opposed to just going straight to the source. I had a conversation with the AmeriFreight representative who was very helpful and I liked the idea of them acting as an intermediary. However, AmeriFreight's quote was not close to what I actually ended up paying and there was a bit of a breakdown in my interactions with the carrier driver.

Once we did that, everything just lined up perfectly.

I would recommend AmeriFreight. I left a new job and started a new one, and I moved across the country and needed to have my car shipped. I looked at half a dozen companies and I used AmeriFreight because of the price. I also used them years ago. The guy I dealt with was really nice. His name is Richard and I liked him. He was direct of what he wanted to do and he gave me the military discount. 100 bucks here and there helped.

My oldest was going off to college in Tampa and her sister decided to go with her. I had to have both cars shipped from Fairfield, California to Tampa, Florida which was like 2,600 miles. I went online and AmeriFreight came up first. I just punched on it. I was asked where the cars were going and when I needed them by. AmeriFreight said that they would get the car in Tampa the best they could and for the most reasonable rate they could find. The quote they gave me was reasonable and within what I had read online and their organizers were responsive when I had questions about the pick-up and drop-off. The carrier drivers, however, weren't very good at giving me the exact time and location. Both of them just sprang it on me during the day of the delivery. They delivered the car to one of our friends in Florida and one of them misquoted the time while the other one said that he would be there at a certain time but then was there earlier. But other than that, it was okay. The whole delivery was within the seven-day timeframe they promised. I would recommend AmeriFreight.

I did a Google search of auto transport companies, made a few comparisons for a couple of days and finally went with AmeriFreight after 10 other considerations. I wasn't too concerned with the bargaining because this type of work is contracted and the price changes no matter what company you're with. So, I was not really looking for the best price. But at that point, I wanted to find a reputable company and I really liked AmeriFreight's good walkthrough of the process. That was important. The quote was good too. Their rep talked about it for a while and really helped me understand why the quote might change, but it ended up staying the same.

AmeriFreight was recommended to me. The quote that they gave me was a little high, but I wanted the car to come right away. So, the quote kinda went up because there weren’t that many people coming at that moment, and we needed the car because somebody was storing it, and I was leaving. AmeriFreight's transport organizer was nice and helpful. She gave me the number of the driver. I called him four times but never heard back from him. I had somebody waiting across the country with the car, and the driver called when he was a couple of hours away and the person waiting had waited all day.

My husband started the process with Harry and he was the name in the contract but there was a lady that helped. I spent most of my time on the phone with her. She was very kind working through all the details and she was a big help. AmeriFreight had a lot of paperwork that needed to be done and given my emotional situation with dealing with my mom passing away, it was just very daunting even though she walked me through it. I hope everybody is as patient as her. Both she and Harry were great.

Also, it stayed exactly what they said it was gonna be. The actual people who organized it and who I spoke with were helpful and nice but the driver was extremely rude when he picked up and delivered the vehicle. He called my mother controlling because she wanted to make sure that she had all the pictures and paperwork already done. So, he made a lot of rude comments to her and then, to me. He didn’t know the area and he was asking if it was gonna be distracting there or not. I told him he wouldn’t have any problem but he still tried to argue. AmeriFreight should monitor their drivers better. The company itself was phenomenal and I didn't have any issues at all. I would tell friends not to expect the driver to be nice but I would still go with AmeriFreight.

When I did a Google search, AmeriFreight was the cheapest. I felt okay about the quote initially. I was really disappointed that it went up to 1299, but I was okay with it. It was not my first time moving a vehicle. Everything went great with the transport organizer. She was commendable. The carrier driver and the lady I talked to who had been organizing all of it on both ends were very professional, very courteous and they were on time and early and very accommodating. If I'll need to ship a car again, AmeriFreight will be the first place I'm gonna go to.

I was moving back to California and had to move my car. I went through Google for shippers then I got tons of different quotes from everybody calling me. Then there was this guy Terell from AmeriFreight who was very nice and confident. He was really trying to give me the best deal, so I went with him. He told me that they start low on their quote, and then if someone picked it up, it might go up and I would have to add more money. So, I knew the cost was gonna be more than what he quoted me, but he was very upfront with that.

It was an urban city drop-off and the vehicle ended up being dropped off in the middle of downtown. My apartment is downtown but there were better places to do it. It seemed like a very last minute spur of the moment decision, just to kind of hurry up and get it done.

It look about three business days to get the vehicle to Florida and a couple of days before I got to pick it so the transporter held the car for me. All around, the experience was good. They held up to their agreement.

AmeriFreight had excellent customer service. They were very friendly and they didn't try to lead me on. They gave me a good quote and found a transporter right away. The initial quote was pretty well and it increased, but I was okay with that because I wanted my car to be shipped out as soon as possible. I understood that this could change depending on which carrier decided to take on the job but I received a phone call saying that my price was now $1350. That's an increase of over double. I even called the manager to discuss this and after some runaround he just said "you have to pay attention to the quote" because I wanted the pickup to be between a 48 hour period of my requested date. He also told me that I'll run into these rate swings with any company, which is absolutely false because I just booked another carrier for a set price with an exact date of pickup. Absolute horrible customer service and flat out liars. Look elsewhere or else you'll be paying more than double what you initially thought you were going to pay.
