I purchased a vehicle so it had to go from one state to another. The online search showed that AmeriFreight was a good company. The organizer was very communicative, trustworthy and nice. Their quote was slightly higher but it didn't change throughout the process. Also, the drivers were great people. They called me and let me know how it was going along the process. When they got here, the car was in perfect shape. They seemed to care about it so I knew it was in good hands. Plus the car got here sooner.

We're in New York and my son is going to school in Colorado, and so he needed his car. I went online and found AmeriFreight. And then, my husband did a little research and he called them. The quote that we were given was reasonable and it was exactly what we were looking for. The actual cost of the transport was a little high, but we knew it was not gonna be a cheap endeavor. We would've like to have paid less than we did, but compared to other ones, it maybe even a little less expensive.

We were very happy with AmeriFreight. The driver was exceptional. And when my son received the car, he was very happy with the gentleman. He said he took such good care of his car. They talked and he was very personable. He was even there a day earlier. We dropped the car off on a Monday night, and my son had it by Friday. My son's car was old car, and when the gentleman was putting it on the truck, he had concerns about the antenna. He asked us, "Would it be all right if I removed the antenna? 'Cause I don't want it to break." We told him to go ahead. When he went to remove it, we could see he was having a hard time getting it off. But he got it off and he put it in the backseat of the car.

When he got to my son and tried to put the antenna back on, he couldn't, and he felt really bad. So, he reached into his pocket and gave my son cash to get the antenna fixed. My son was blown away with that and told him that he didn't have to do that. Still, the gentleman said, "No. I did it and so I would like to pay for it." That's when we knew he was a real stand-out.

I was giving my car to my niece in a different state and I needed to ship it. I read some of the Better Business Bureau reviews and I decided to go with AmeriFreight. The reps were very good. I had to leave a message initially, but they called back within 20 minutes. I gathered the information and I called them back a few days later and set the transport up. The overall cost of the service wasn't so much. I was concerned about going lower to save bucks but not have the car get there in the shape I wanted it to get there. We ordered an open carrier that is less expensive, but the guys that showed up had a closed carrier, so my car got through North Carolina in an enclosed vehicle, which was really great for the same price.

My husband helped load the car and my brother was at the other end receiving the car, and they both had positive interactions with the drivers. The shipment took less than we thought. They said it would take three to five days, but it was there in about three. It was a positive experience and if I have to do it again, I would call AmeriFreight. I recommend them.

I bought a vehicle from Texas and I needed to get it shipped to California. AmeriFreight's quotes were a little bit more pricey than some of the cheaper options, but it's worth paying the extra price for safety and ease of concern. Their organizer was great. Every time he got someone that could ship the truck, he gave me a call and gave me his opinion. We got a couple of people that wanted to ship it. The first person was a little expensive, and the organizer told me that I should probably skip that one and wait for the next one, which was good 'cause I ended up paying a lot less. So, he was really helpful. He picked up the phone every time I called him. Also, the delivery went really smoothly. They picked up the vehicle on a Friday, and it got here on a Tuesday.

My son did a lot of research on AmeriFreight and he found out that they do some hauling for the government. He used them and they did a very good job for him. When I came out to Florida from California, I used AmeriFreight too. It was easier for me to ship my car than it was to drive. I had a problem with trying to organize an exact date that I wanted, but I understood that I couldn't always hit the date I was going for when I was going that far.

Alex was my transport organizer. He was a nice kid and I met him to load the car up. I had my son-in-law down here receive the car for me. Alex was really quick. He dropped other cars off and he made doggone good time. It wasn't more than five days. He really surprised both me and my son-in-law. But it worked out. The quote that was offered wasn’t the quote that I got, though, because of some changes in the last minute. It went from $1,200 to $1,600 and I wasn’t too happy about that. But AmeriFreight did a very good job and I’m completely satisfied. I’d recommend them to anybody and I’d call them again.

He kept me up to date with everything that was going on from the time they took my vehicle to the time it was delivered. The driver also kept me updated. Everything was outstanding and the price of the service was really good. I would definitely recommend AmeriFreight. They're a great company. With them, your car will arrive safe and sound.

I was moving from Illinois to California and used AmeriFreight to ship my car. I also checked on other companies but AmeriFreight gave me the cheapest quote and I felt good about it. I had a little setback in my move and there was a $1,500 difference which I had no problem with because it was a week past the original date.

The rep was very courteous and professional. She did her due diligence to find me the best quote possible and helped me when I was in a bind and I appreciate that. The driver was a very good guy and he also helped me out when I was in a bind so I got nothing but praise for him. AmeriFreight is very reliable and I will tell anyone to roll with them and not to check anybody else.

We needed vehicle shipping services. We went to a website and put in our details, and the next thing we knew we were getting phone calls left and right like crazy. On one of them, we decided to go with AmeriFreight. Our dealings with the reps were great and they went out of the way with questions to make sure that everything was fine and taken care of. They asked about the details of the vehicle.

I walked over the entire vehicle, including the motor mount, and I did a before-and-after video of it. When it got here, it had damages on the front bumper which were incurred during the transport. I'm not happy about that but I've just let it go. I'm gonna take care of it myself out of my pocket because I don't wanna deal with the headache. AmeriFreight asked us if we were okay with our experience. We told them everything but we said that it was fine. The person that was driving the truck is an outstanding individual and a good employee. He is a God-fearing and very humble man.

We were relocating from San Francisco to New York one time. Back then, I needed a passenger vehicle sent across and I had AmeriFreight do that based on the price. Initially, it came in lower. However, what we paid ended up being higher than what was quoted. It was comparable with other organizations we got quotes from. It almost felt like the quote was just to bait us. Still, the rep we dealt with was punctual in getting back to us.

Friends of mine used AmeriFreight last year when they moved from Minneapolis to Charlotte. They had a good experience, so I thought I would go with AmeriFreight who made it very easy and convenient for me. They found someone to take it fairly soon and I didn't have to wait too long. The driver picked up the car where I worked and dropped it off close to my new home. There were no issues at all. Also, the quote was reasonable for the move from LA to North Carolina. The rep was very helpful and she was responsive anytime I called to ask her a question. She was very good, professional and nice. The driver was wonderful and he made the pickup simple. He walked around the car, and he said I was good to go, he was just gonna stay for a while and finish some paperwork. The car was delivered in good condition way before I got here. AmeriFreight had friendly people, they kept their word and they were very easy to deal with.

However, the final price was a little bit higher than what he originally quoted me. A couple of times, he called with quotes that were several hundred dollars above and I declined. Then he'd call me back in a day and give me another quote. The third time he called back, we agreed on the quote. I was told the transport was gonna take three days, but they were there in 24 hours. The interactions with the drivers were excellent. They were very nice, informative, and courteous.

One of my daughters purchased a brand new car and she gifted me her old car. We sold my car and she shipped her old car to me. My daughters told me to choose the company for shipping. They just told me what key things to look for and to make sure it was a reputable business. All the symbols and stuff that AmeriFreight had on their website helped me. My daughters told me to make sure there was a Better Business Bureau thing and there was a symbol on Amerifreight's ad saying that they were cleared and okay with the BBB. There was one other company that had the symbols but AmeriFreight came with the highest rating so they were the best people to transport the car. Another thing that I liked about the AmeriFreight was they have been in business since 1918.

The driver was very nice. When he picked up the car, he gave us the appropriate time. My daughter worked and he made it convenient for her work hours to pick up the car. All that went smoothly. Also, I'm disabled and hurting all the time. I live on a narrow street so he had to park about three blocks away. He made it convenient where instead of me having to walk around the two blocks, he drove the car around to me. I was very excited about getting the car and I was standing on the step. He gave me the keys, had me sign the paper and we walked around the car. My daughter had the car fully detailed before she sent it to me. And everything was just like she sent it. It was nice and clean still in the inside. Also, the driver said he would be there at 2 o’clock and he was prompt.

We also really liked AmeriFreight's price for shipping from Ohio. We had prices from $700 to $1,000, and AmeriFreight's was $700. The pricing was really comfortable. It was cheaper than if we had driven. The car getting to me safely and as if I had driven was such a plus. It was a blessing that AmeriFreight helped us out as they did. Also, everybody admires the car, but they never thought about shipping a car. I have referred Amerifreight and I always tell people they shipped the car to me. And a lot of people say, “I didn’t know you could do that."

My mom told us that we could bring our dad's old muscle car out to New Mexico. I looked around, I read reviews, and I tried to work with a company that I felt would treat us good because that car carries a lot of sentimental value. I was pretty happy with the quote from AmeriFreight mostly because I knew that there was a lot of requirements with the car. I wanted it enclosed and I felt that they did everything they could and the quote was reasonable. And Tara, the organizer, was fabulous. My stress level about the whole shipping the car went down after speaking to her. I had asked about the military discount, so then we talked about just how nice it is to find a company that appreciates the first responders in the military. Also, she was very personable because she's from a military family. I felt like I wasn't just somebody on the phone and I felt like she truly cared.

The delivery went really, really well. I ended up having to ship it open because we were not getting hits from enclosed carriers because the car was not running. It ended up being through a very small, husband and wife team and they could only haul two cars on there. And once I spoke to the wife part of the husband and wife team, I felt better about it. Her husband was a cop and they have a son that is police officer. To me, it just felt like everything aligned the way it needed to for me to feel comfortable about who was handling this car for me. The transport took three days. They picked it up on a Thursday night, took a picture of it, and they kept me updated while they were shipping it. Then, they got to my brother's house on Sunday morning. AmeriFreight is highly recommended. If I would ever have to move again, I would definitely work with the company again.

I needed a vehicle transported in the Southern US. Pricing is always my interest and that mainly was my main purpose when I decided to go with AmeriFreight. Plus there was good feedback in dealing with the customer service representatives that I was working with there. I reached out to them online at first then I received an e-mail with the quote for what I was looking for.

The transport organizer I had was also really good. I called him on times when he was probably out of the office, out for lunch, or just dealing with other individuals, and there was a little lag there in insuring that everybody was on the same page when he wasn’t available. They should have insured that what transpired with dealing with other personnel while he was out was carried over. Other than that, the carrier driver was very professional and he knew his work. He took great care and checked over the vehicle, which was good, and he identified any other areas that I might have missed. I had a good feel for the driver and he did a great job.

She called and checked up afterwards, made sure everything went okay and she did a good job. I was super nervous to get my car because I didn't know the driver but he called ahead and delivered it on time. He did a great job. The way AmeriFreight’s staff set up the transport worked out perfectly for me and they expedited it. They found a carrier quickly and then, the carrier had it the next day after I arrived. We had a good deal on a truck on eBay and we bought it for my son. I checked the reviews and initially, AmeriFreight’s price came across as the lowest. However, the price jumped about $1,000. They told us about it as we went further into it. We were having trouble getting a carrier to pick it up because Washington to Texas was not a popular route. It was on the board for a while and we kept incrementally raising the price until $1,700. Nobody would pick it up and it went over a week. If I was willing to wait longer, I could have gotten a better deal. However, I was dealing with the seller and he was very cooperative but he didn't wanna have to hold on to it too long after the sale. Anytime I emailed or called, the rep from AmeriFreight was always there and would give me an answer. She was knowledgeable of the whole process and since I wasn't, it was helpful.

The interaction with the driver was short and sweet. They asked if they could still deliver that day because it was getting late. I told them that was fine and that we would be available. It was 9 o'clock Texas time when he rolled up. He stopped on the shoulder of the road, in front of the house and put his ramps down. He didn't waste any time. He unloaded the truck, drove it across the road and into the driveway. I settled up with him, he backed up and headed down the road. They picked up the truck on a Friday evening and it hit my place on Tuesday evening. We will very likely buy a vehicle again on eBay and if I do, I will more than likely contact AmeriFreight to ship it just because it worked out this time. Aside from that, I'm now more familiar with the process and know what to expect. People can be confident that they can use AmeriFreight and get their vehicle shipped.

We were shipping my daughter's car to her after she got to California and the company that could take the car was located about 20 minutes from where I lived. It was somebody I could deal with locally and AmeriFreight was here in Atlanta as well, so it made me feel better. The transport organizer was great, although what we had to pay was slightly more than the original quote that she had given me through an email. I knew that once they broker the transport out, the fee can change. It changed, but it wasn't outrageous.

The carrier driver was sitting in the parking lot waiting for me when I drove in the lot on the day of the delivery and I had no trouble keeping in touch with him as he drove cross-country. I eventually gave my daughter his name and number. He answered the phone every single time I called him. He delivered the car and worked out the delivery of my daughter's car because she was in school. They worked out the window of time that she could meet him and get the car without her missing classes. I recommend AmeriFreight and I'd use them again if we have to ship my daughter's car back.

She really knew what she was talking about and sounded convincing. She said she used to drive trucks and deliver cars herself. Thus, she was able to give me some insights on what would happen. I felt very comfortable.

With regards to AmeriFreight's quote, I thought it was lowballing at first because it came in at a low price. I knew that it took a carrier to come back with the cost so the one I got could have come back with $1,000 even though AmeriFreight quoted me $750. But then, the carrier came back with $750. However, that's on top of the money that I had to pay AmeriFreight, so the quote wasn't exactly what I wanted. Still, their rep explained even my misgivings about the quote and it made perfect sense. My wife and I were living in Oregon and we decided to move back to Georgia. That time, we weren’t driving across the country. We were just gonna fly so I wanted to ship my car with someone reputable. I called AmeriFreight and I spoke with their rep, Kimberly. She made it so that it was a good experience and I felt no stress whatsoever. We spoke one day and she found me a carrier the next day or the day after.

When AmeriFreight first gave me the price, it looked right to me, but they called back to let me know that they had made an error and that they have charged me more than they should have. So, they gave me the money that they charged extra back. They are an honest company doing honest work and looking out for the customer and I also wasn’t expecting it because I thought it was correct, to begin with. The whole process was awesome. Once the carrier came over to pick up the car, he was professional. He picked up the car and it was delivered on time.

My father-in-law, who had passed away, had a Mustang that he had left in New York in Rhode Island. At the time, he had been working on it and it was inoperable. My wife and I decided that because it was her father’s car and she grew up with it, we were gonna keep it, but we needed to send it down here. I had worked with another company to see if we can get it moving, but they were taking forever to find a carrier. Once they found the carrier, we had a horrible experience with the carrier. They were unprofessional and there was a lot of miscommunication. When the actual driver arrived with the freight, he said that he didn’t know that it was inoperable even though we had mentioned it several times and the broker had said it several times as well. He delayed the transport even more. We ended up canceling because it was just too much of a hassle and we didn’t wanna deal with the driver. We needed to find someone else.

I decided to go with AmeriFreight again to see if they can do a better job. I spoke with Kimberly again and I told her the whole situation, and she went above and beyond again. A couple of days later, they found me a carrier within the price range that we were looking for and she made sure that they had good ratings. The car arrived a day later after the guy picked it up. AmeriFreight did an incredible job. It was so starkly different from working with the other company and I couldn’t believe it. I kept asking myself why I didn’t use AmeriFreight, to begin with. Kimberly really helped me out. She was on top of it and she kept me in the loop. She would call me every day and let me know where we were at. She called me after both deliveries to make sure that everything was okay. I had excellent experience with AmeriFreight and I would definitely, 100% recommend them to whoever, a friend of mine or whoever needs a vehicle transport.

I did some research and AmeriFreight had one of the lowest prices. They didn't pressure me and it felt good to go with them, so I did. I was able to take advantage of the free quote online and the final cost was even a couple hundred dollars cheaper.

The carrier driver was also super sweet. He and his partner were very professional and wanted to get the job done right, which I appreciated. He showed me the pictures of the truck when they picked it up for comparison and there wasn’t any new damage to it. They took care of it, which was good because I’m super-sentimental about it. At first I was nervous because at the time, you couldn't trust its brakes and you had to smash it down to be able to stop the truck. But they were able to work with that, which was awesome. It's a 1980 Ford truck, so it’s an oldie, but they still took care of it as if it were any other vehicle.

I sold my car to my parents and they live in Louisiana, so I had to ship it from California to Louisiana. I looked at about four different transport companies online. AmeriFreight contacted me first and I got a good price from them. The transport organizer emailed me a couple of times and I called him on the phone and texted him a few times. He was fine. There were no issues with the car during the delivery and they delivered within the time window. The whole process took about two weeks and they let my parents know the day before. The payment process was also okay.

My son lives in California and I wanted to get him his vehicle out there. I called AmeriFreight and the operator who answered was so kind. I was told that they would be giving a low beginning quote and then the price would go a little higher. They locked me in when they gave me that lower quote and I could have waited longer and gotten it to where they quoted me but my son really wanted the car so I went ahead and let it go. The organizer was very nice and fantastic at what she did and the pick-up and delivery was on time and didn’t take long.

My dad passed away and left a vehicle to me. I needed to ship it 1,500 miles to get it up here and I looked at two companies. AmeriFreight's price won me over and although there were a couple of hiccups, the rep I dealt with was absolutely great. The first company that took on the shipment dropped out, saying that their truck had broken down. The rep called me, gave me the update and started looking for another company to take the shipment on. She moved so fast on it. It was impressive. The gentleman who came out was really nice too. He understood the situation and how important it was for me to get the vehicle. He was spot-on and really good. Since the first company dropped out, it took about a week and a half to get the vehicle here. I'd definitely recommend AmeriFreight, particularly the individual that I dealt with. And if I ever need something shipped again, then I'm going with AmeriFreight.

I moved for a job across country and got AmeriFreight to transport my vehicle since they originally had the lowest price. It ended up costing us around $600 more than the original quote, but I wasn’t surprised because that was all part of it. The transport organizer whom we worked with was great as we had a lot of follow through, definitely good communication. Dealing with the carrier driver was also super easy. I just met him down the street from my house, and picked the vehicle up. It was very painless. The transport took about seven days, and upon delivery, we walked through the vehicle together and there was no damage. AmeriFreight is good.

When they quoted me, they explained that the quote was going to change a bit due to all the carriers agreeing on a certain price. And it did change a bit. But I agreed with the price because I found out that it was a really good price for shipping my vehicle from coast to coast. Then it only took a week from the pick-up to the drop-off. It was fast and that was also how long AmeriFreight said it was gonna be. The carrier driver was good too. He was on time, did everything by the book and made sure everything was good to go. If you need to ship a car, go with AmeriFreight.

From the reviews I saw online, I decided to use AmeriFreight. I used the free quote option and although the quote was not what I was looking for, it was reasonable. Prices might be a little higher but that’s quality.

Howard was also very helpful, knowledgeable and supportive. I needed plenty of time to consider all of my options and he was patient. The delivery was smooth too. They got here really quickly. It took about three days. They called me when they got in the location and by the time I met it, the car was unloaded. They handed me the keys and the inspection was done. Everything was good. Overall, it was a good and pleasant experience. AmeriFreight is a good company and they're great to work with.

I changed my job so I had to ship my car from New York to Washington. I searched online and AmeriFreight was recommended by some people in the online forum. I also got a quote from several different companies at the same time and AmeriFreight was the cheapest. But after several rounds of discussion with agents, I found that AmeriFreight was not the cheapest. The free quote doesn't indicate the final price so it made me feel that it wasn't good. That one time, I didn't know how to trust AmeriFreight because the price has changed too much but after some service, I found that even though the final price was expensive, it's in a reasonable range.

I continued to use AmeriFreight and the overall experience was great. The rep was quite good and before he found the driver, he gave me the end price. He also gave me a call to tell me the possible things like when the driver will go to my apartment to fetch the car. The driver was good too. He took a lot of pictures of our car to make sure that when the shipping was done, the car had no damages. The car was picked up by the driver in the scheduled time and it also arrived at the destination location in a timely fashion.

We had to keep changing the date of the pick up because some problems came up with the car itself mechanically, and she was really good at accommodating the changing of the pick up dates. She would always call up and check on things. The quote that they gave me was good. If we had driven the car all the way across, it would have been way more expensive. Pickup to delivery was done in 10 days. The hardest part was that they had to find a parking lot big enough for their big truck to fit in, but there wasn't a problem. I didn't realize that the way the system works is that they can't really call you until closer to the time period when they have companies calling them. I got a phone call a week after I submitted and on the first date that my car would be eligible to be shipped.

That aside, the driver was great. I had to reach out to him but he was very responsive. The car was picked up on a Tuesday and I got it on Sunday morning. He went through all those steps to try to help me out to get the vehicle here as soon as possible at the most reasonable price so I'm very happy with the experience.

The driver was courteous. He called before picking up the vehicle and he came on time. During the delivery, he called in advance and apologized for a minor delay that was gonna happen. The quote they gave me was a little bit higher of what I expected. I was expecting around $900 to $1,000 and I ended up paying $250 more. The price increased because none of the drivers were ready to take my vehicle for the price that I wanted. When my transport organizer contacted me with the quote, it was below $1,000, but she got it upfront that it might increase if none of the drivers are willing to take that vehicle. I agreed to it, and they agreed to ship my vehicle and get my vehicle picked up in five days, which happened, so that was nice. The organizer was also responsible to check in when the vehicle was picked up and the vehicle was delivered, so that was kind of nice on their part. Also, they offered insurance for the vehicle as well, which was good too.

When the carrier driver delivered my car, he called me, and I went and picked up my vehicle. I had to schedule the delivery because he was here earlier than I was. My husband has been temporarily relocated from Texas to Arizona so I needed to ship him one of our cars. It took three days and a half, and although AmeriFreight's was probably not the least expensive quote that we received, we were grateful that it went very smoothly. It was really quick from the moment that I talked to my agent, Richard, and confirmed that we needed the service. He was really effective on following up on the online quote that I requested. I received an email and he also called me within minutes, telling me that he already had a carrier for the pick-up and delivery. It was very quick. He was also surprised. He was also really open in answering all the questions that I had. I received politeness and professional experience from them.

In the shipping, the guy I dealt with was also very communicative and always very responsive. We agreed on meeting in a certain place and that was what we did. He took pictures around the car, took a video and then made me sign the bill of lading. The only thing that was surprising for me was that he didn't let me check the dents and marks that the car had. He just wanted me to sign it off. But I asked if I could first check what he was annotating or what the photos he was taking were about. After he replied to that, I was able to sign the bill of lading.

They picked the car up when scheduled and brought it back. I had the car picked up on the border of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake and I met them in Salem Oregon and picked it up there. Everything went well. Their customer service was great. They answered my questions in a timely fashion, and checked on the status of my vehicle when I inquired. Everything went smoothly. I heard horror stories so I was very relieved.

The driver was fabulous. If I called him while he was on the road and we had a bad connection, then in a little while longer, he called me back. He let me know exactly where he would be and what time. There was another driver that took the car across country, and it ended up in Vancouver to offload at their yard and transport down to Salem for me. He was equally as communicative as the driver that picked up the car, and within three minutes of our arrival, he arrived at the designated spot. So it was all good. My transport organizer from AmeriFreight was professional and good. My car was delivered from California to Dallas within a week. The carrier driver looked at my car and we went through the paperwork. I received my car. We did a quick inspection and signed the papers. Everything was good, but I would have preferred to get a better price. They said no carrier is accepting anything. Apart from their reviews that looked good, another reason I chose them was because of the initial price that they quoted. It was lower from others. Others were quoting around a thousand and I got the $750 quote from them. I waited for a week, but nothing happened, and I had to increase my price to 1,100.

They were very professional and their service was good, but I had to pay way over than others had quoted me. I didn't know that the initial price would go so high. I was told I would pay $100 here or there, but I ended up paying more than $300 over the initial price. Still, since I was looking to transport my car, I didn't have much time at my end, so the price was reasonable enough. So, if you're looking at AmeriFreight, you should get a clarification on the price, and it's better if you do in advance. If you have much time like a month, then you might get a better deal with them.

I bought a vehicle and I had AmeriFreight ship it based on the price. They were also on it when they made a call and they found people to ship my vehicle quickly. The rep whom I worked with was good at getting back to me and getting with it on the shipping because they transfer hands. The whole transport was a six-day process. The driver was great. I had some challenges as the vehicle wasn't in my name but he went above and beyond to be able to get the vehicle off and get everything handled. I'd recommend AmeriFreight. If I'd have another vehicle I need to ship, I would call them first.

I came across AmeriFreight on a site with a list of transporters and I thought it was good. But the prices of the transporters were all over the place. It had something to do with how much the transporters wanted to do in terms of filling up their vehicles with cars or if they didn't want to go back empty, they'll reduce the price so they have a full carriage of cars to take back and forth. There are also a lot of people moving back and forth for the holidays. The prices varied from $1,300 but AmeriFreight was in the $600-$700 range.

I went with AmeriFreight and the person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, nice and effective. The driver was also very nice but he wasn't expecting that I would ask to see his driver's license. I took a picture of it because I wanted to be able to say who I gave my car to. AmeriFreight, as a dispatcher, may not know which guy it is until the last minute but it would have been helpful if they passed along a photo ID of the carrier so I would know who is picking up the car. It was my first time using the service so I had no idea how it really worked but my experience with AmeriFreight was very painless and the transport was easy. The driver was on time and polite and we had no issues with the car. He picked the car up on a Wednesday and dropped it off in Philadelphia on Monday.

I've used AmeriFreight previously and also used them when I moved across country. Their customer service was mediocre this time around. I wasn't particularly happy with their communication around times and the way they talked to me about it. The person I spoke to led me to believe that I would have a sense that the car would be shipped off sooner. So I booked the flight across country to happen while my car was being shipped. I was under the impression I could do that. The flight was not that far in advance but at least enough far in advance based on the information they would give me. But they knocked my expectations and told me the day before they were picking up my car, which wasn't my experience the first time and it wasn't what they led me to believe would happen.

They gave me a nudge of about 30 hours before I needed to have the car picked up. Aside from doing it the last minute and in a way I didn't want, they also charged me about $300 more than the originally quoted price. It was also amusingly the exact the same price I paid the first time around, which led me to believe that the quoted price was BS. It's like they just made up the number. The driver was fantastic and I love him, but he doesn't work for AmeriFreight.

AmeriFreight kept bugging me for positive online review afterwards and without the ability to unsubscribe. I got really upset and put a 1 star review on Google to get them to shut up. I was pretty annoyed. Their customer service was terrible. When I booked with AmeriFreight originally, there wasn't any competition that had better customer support. I ended up so frustrated I looked into some of their competition this time, and it looks like there's been a couple of more online-focused organizations that you see more what's going on. So I would strongly recommend going with their competition.

I went through seven different companies and even though the price quote was a little higher than other guys, I felt a little more comfortable going with AmeriFreight because the reviews were pretty strong and I didn’t see any negative reviews anywhere. Gerald, the organizer, was good. He was contacting me whenever there was a company willing to transport and he was discussing the price quote with me. The end number was a little lower than the price quoted to me. The driver was a little accommodating when he picked up, and then he came in much earlier than needed. But he held my car at his place for multiple days and then he drove back up and delivered it whenever I wanted it. So, it was pretty pleasant. The actual shipping was only three days total. But because of my timeline schedule, I had to delay much longer. So, I’m pretty happy with the way it went.

The carrier driver was okay, although he came with a pick-up truck, towing a trailer with three cars on it. So, it was not like I would picture, coming in a big car carrier. The pick-up truck was like a Dodge diesel pickup, like a 24,000-pound trailer. Other than that, my truck looked fine. Overall, AmeriFreight was very good.

AmeriFreight moved our truck from Massachusetts to California. I got a referral from my niece's boyfriend. He's in the military and he used AmeriFreight to transport his car also from Massachusetts to California, and he was pleased with the experience. We were also satisfied with AmeriFreight. The quote they offered was good. It wasn't a lot less than other offers, but it was reasonable. I told them I needed to put some things into the truck to transport, and they were very reasonable about it. Our the transport organizer, Ben, was very good. We weren't sure when we were doing the move because, from January to now, we've had two houses, one in Massachusetts and one in California. We weren't sure of when we really wanted to ship the car out. I've made several changes to the date with Ben, and he was always very accommodating with it. He didn't get irritated with me, which I would have been irritated with me.

The driver came later than we expected, but that wasn't a problem for us. Still, the communication could have been a little bit better with him calling to say, "It's still gonna be another three hours." But he and the other driver were very polite. They had to park off the street from us because they couldn't negotiate our street. So, they came to the door on foot, and they were fine. They took the car and drove it up to where their truck was, and it got here a lot faster than I ever thought it would. It was two days early. All in all, AmeriFreight is reliable and very easy to work with, and I found working with Ben to be delightful. My husband said that if we were to transport another vehicle, they'd be the first people we'd call.

I was getting out of the military and moving cross-country. The transport took about a week and a half but I ended up paying an extra $500 and I was a little upset about that. The representative I worked with was great though. He explained everything and was apologetic about the increase in price. However, after doing research and getting other quotes from other people, I saw that it happened with other companies as well. Besides, AmeriFreight is Better Business Bureau-accredited and they had good reviews. The representative had also explained that the price could go up. The one negative thing was that he didn’t explain how much it could go up.

On the delivery, the driver gave us a 30-minute heads-up call that someone would be there. It was delayed but that was understandable. The only issue was that when I got there, there was still was about an hour and a half of waiting before the car was available to be driven away. I wish that when they gave us the 30-minute heads-up call, they would have said, “Your car is at the top front. So I’ll be there 30 minutes but it'll take an additional hour to hour and a half to get it off.” Another thing was that when the guy parked, he parked up against a tree and it left multiple scratches on the car. There was one long scratch and then one chip of paint. And the car is a Fiat. It still has good paint so that was annoying, especially since it’s a 2017 car. We also don’t have time in our life to go through the whole annoying process that it takes to get everything fixed. We were upset about the scratches but AmeriFreight can’t control the delivery truck driver and I knew that.

After I called, the woman called me back many times immediately. I shopped and checked the price then I purchased and she was easy to contact.

We had a date and a time for the driver to come. It was like 2:00 to 5:00 on Monday and when the original drivers didn’t get to me when it was set, I called her and she got to call me back within a half hour. She was totally responsive. The driver actually called at about 5 o’clock and said they would like to come the next day, which turned out to be okay. After that, the pick-up was fast and efficient. My car's engine blew up 62 miles east of Albuquerque. I got into Albuquerque but I needed to get the vehicle back to Iowa. I looked into an article that said AmeriFreight was one of the top 5 and they also had a good reputation on the web. I've also gotten a couple other quotes and AmeriFreight's quote was about the same or a little more but it was reasonable. I went with them and everything about the whole process was very good. They handled the shipping well and took care of business. The rep was upfront with me that part of the problem was they have to have somebody out there in Albuquerque who's willing to pick the vehicle up. If they can't pick it up another week, it's gonna be another week but it didn't really matter and in fact, it would've been fine if we would have gotten home before the vehicle.

The rep called the very next day and told us they had somebody who can pick the vehicle up and the carrier company wanted $100 more. They picked the vehicle up that Tuesday and it was supposed to be back on a Thursday but it got in Iowa Wednesday afternoon. The driver was gone and beat me back to Iowa for about a week. AmeriFreight was excellent, very professional and communicated well. They did exactly what they said they were gonna do and they did it quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with the whole process and the people and I would do a dancing and sing commercial for them.

My AmeriFreight transport organizer was great. She was very responsive and she called me back. Also, my experience with the driver went well. I gave him my landline but I didn't get any communication with him as far as being delayed. It turned out he was texting that number, thinking it was a cellphone. He kept me updated but I sat there saying why he wasn't calling and giving me any information. I finally called them and got the update.

The whole process took more than two weeks. AmeriFreight said no drivers were interested in delivering the car at the price they initially quoted so they raised the price then a driver wanted to take it. AmeriFreight initially quoted me under $1000 to have my car shipped, but then it ended up being $1,500 because they had to keep raising the price. It was a big difference. In googling afterward, it seemed like a lot of people had that complaint.

It was in AmeriFreight’s best interest to delay the shipping and have the price go up because their money is based upon the total delivery cost. It made sense to lowball to try and get somebody to sign the contract, but then not have the car delivered at that price, and then raise the price. Also, they made you sign a contract, that even though the price has gone up, you can’t pull out and go with somebody else. That bothered me. They should put it in the contract that if they can’t deliver it at the initial quoted price, you have the option of backing out. Given that the price shot up so much and that caught me off guard, I wish I did some more research.

I had a relative pass away and I received a vehicle from the estate. So I was moving it from Florida to where I live. I wanted to make sure that I had some intermediary freight shipper that was rated well and that offered a decent price. I did some quick looking around and AmeriFreight's quote looked very reasonable compared to the other quotes I had seen. I had also shipped another vehicle before so I've become familiar with the fact that what you see as a quote is not actually going to be what you pay. You have to get within ballpark of there and expect a few hundred dollars' difference between what you pay and what you see online. In fact, the discrepancy with AmeriFreight was within a couple of hundred dollars.

It's also one of those services that I find odd in the modern area. I am used to going through, being able to go through and booking services online rather than having to go through and have a lot of human interaction in that. You're not able to get your usual experience where you buy it online, you have an online tracker and you go through and can monitor things in your phone. It's definitely very manual still. But it was about as expected for what usually happens with shippers in my experience. I was as satisfied as one can get. The gentleman that I spoke with at AmeriFreight was helpful as well. The phone system was down which was odd. But he was very responsive. I would email him and he would call me back.

The vehicle coordinator was typical of the last time I shipped a car although they usually were a little bit more last minute in terms of knowing when things would happen. The driver himself contacted us. He was about an hour away and was nice enough in the coordination. It was a positive experience overall and I would definitely recommend AmeriFreight in the future. It was such a different experience than what you usually get as a consumer to go through and work with a freight company, and then on top of that, a specialized freight company.

Also, I got a bid for $837, but by the time the contract came through, it was over $1,200. The first return was $1,350 then this one came back a little over $1,200.

My son was moving back from California to New Jersey. I looked at ratings of transport companies to ship his car and AmeriFreight looked favorable. I called about three companies up and AmeriFreight had a representative, Nicole, who was very helpful over the phone. Also, it sounded like they were in the ballpark of what it might cost, so I said yes. The organizer kept me informed. She kept changing the date because my son wasn’t sure when he would be there to load it or have a friend do it. But we worked everything out. She was very considerate and very helpful and she called me most of the time to make sure everything was fine. Then, the driver called me the day before the delivery to say he was gonna be in town and called an hour before the drop off. The transfer took around 11 days which was the expectation and everything went very smoothly. I would recommend AmeriFreight to a friend.

The process of scheduling the transport was easy without any unexpected events. Their transport organizer and I just emailed each other back and forth. From the time of scheduling the transport to the delivery of the vehicle, it only took four days.

I was moving and needed someone to ship my car. I looked around online and tried to call in a few places but they weren't calling me back. Everything was automated and it felt like I was just a number. AmeriFreight was the only one where I got to a human being who was super helpful in explaining the whole process. Their quote was also lower than the actual ones that were a little suboptimal. But they told me that the quote was subject to change based on whatever happens so, I thought that was fine. My interaction with the organizer was also good. I had to adjust my schedule since I wasn’t where the vehicle was being shipped from so that was nice to have a little bit of autonomy there. All in all, AmeriFreight was the best company that I have found and I was happy with my experience with them.

We needed to ship a vehicle as we were giving it to a relative and I went to the ConsumerAffairs website. I picked the ones that were listed in and I called other transport companies. However, they wouldn't take the vehicle because it was a pick-up truck and they said it was too big. But AmeriFreight said they would, and the price was within normal range so I chose them. The free quote option is a price that they get people to sign the contract, then it goes up from there. I realized that what AmeriFreight was offering was a bit too less.

The rep at AmeriFreight was a good man. He stayed with me when there was a problem. He was right there to fix it and answered all my phone calls. They hired one carrier that promised to come three times but he never showed up. They fired him and got somebody else. Within the day, those folks came and the deal was done. The delivery was from Washington to Georgia and it took five days for the pick-up to be delivered, which was quick. The delivery went very well and smooth. With the exception of the first trucking company that they selected to haul the vehicle, the whole process went very well and I would recommend them.

After hearing very good reviews about AmeriFreight from a couple of my friends, I used the company to ship my vehicle during a relocation. I got a free quote before the transport but there were some hiccups in between the communication on the quote information and on the question and answers. There were a few flaws on their website where a couple of information is off even after submitting, repeatedly. Thus, the quote and the final cost were off. Otherwise, their quoting mechanism and my communication with their agent were good.

The pick up took just 20 minutes, with the driver checking the weight of the vehicle and taking pictures. He also answered all of the questions I had. And then, the delivery was quick too. But the problem was he put the vehicle near the road. He did it in the morning and it was in the middle of traffic, so I didn't get much time to interact with him more and even check my vehicle entirely. I just had a glance at it. But all in all, the process was very seamless and good because we had good interaction.

The actual carrier's quote came in higher, but still, not too much. The only thing was the company was completely lying to me on the phone when they said the driver was right around the corner. We had the car at a shop. It was supposed to be picked up at the shop before they close. So, the driver almost missed the pick up because the shop was closing. Then when he dropped it off, he barely went over anything in the car to check scratches. He got his money and he was gone. Also, he was scheduled to come in the afternoon and he showed up in the morning and didn't even bother to tell us that he was 20 minutes out. He just showed up. Luckily, my wife hadn't left yet. Still, AmeriFreight was good. They did a good job organizing and getting a company.

There were classic cars that needed to be transported down from Oregon to California. I heard through some of my friends that AmeriFreight is very reliable, something that is key especially with classic cars, so we used them. It was phenomenal with the carrier driver. The rate was overwhelmingly outstanding and I've never seen a vehicle like the one that was used. It was completely closed, so it has rubberized sliding panels. It was something else.

The driver and his co-driver were very engaging, nice, and thorough. For the T-Bird, which is such a wide vehicle that there wasn't a whole lot of room for air getting it in and out of the carrier as far as scrapping the sides of the cars go, they were really slow and meticulous about getting it out of the carrier. It was at the very tail end, so it had the furthest distance to come off. Also, I was told that the delivery would take three days but it only took a day and a half. We were hands up with the timing situation, so the amount we paid ended up being higher, but it was still less than what I was expecting. AmeriFreight is a very professional organization, so if I had to move a vehicle, I certainly would go to them first.

Worst experience. I ended up paying $1465 for open carrier transport (initial quote $1055) from Vienna, VA to Sacramento, CA. I requested for delivery by September 15th 2018, as I need to commute 100 miles, with first pick up date as September 3rd 2018. But, even after confirming the order on August 15th 2018 my car was picked up on September 12th, delivered on September 19th. Had to rent a car.

I worked with Richard ** for moving my car. I have confirmed my order on August 15th 2018 and repeatedly informed him that I need the car by September 15th 2018. He suggested to have the first available date as September 3rd 2018 and I agreed to that. I had to follow-up with him every time and ask him to prioritize my order as he did not find any carrier. Finally, I got the first carrier match on Thursday evening and the quote was around $1680 up from the initial quote $1055. I said it's too high and he agreed too. I received one more quote for $1490 the next morning and I asked him for some time. I got back within 1.5 hours and by that time he said that driver is not available.

Again, on Friday evening he said he found one more quote $1465 "lowest so far" as per his research with pick up date on September 13th or 14th and delivery date by September 20th. I reminded him that I have confirmed my order on August 15th 2018 and informing him repeatedly that I need the car by September 15th 2018 as I need to commute 100 miles every day. He said he understands that and he was getting concerned (???) regarding my order and he understands that I am concerned too. With no clue on when the next carrier would be matched, picked up and delivered, I agreed to it hesitantly. They charged their commission as soon as I confirmed the order on Friday evening. He said he will follow-up when the driver pick my car and follow up during this time to make sure I am comfortable and transport went fine. He never called after they charged the commission.

On Monday, I requested him if he could find any other carrier who can deliver by Sunday. He said since the carrier is matched, he cannot do anything. But after I reminded him about August 15th confirmation, repeated follow-ups and possibility of renting the car till my car is delivered, he said he will try to clone the order and see what he can do. Guess what, I have never heard back after my initial confirmation.

I've used AmeriFreight twice. Terrell was the dispatcher and interacting with him was positive. I called Terrell back when I decided to buy this other car. He gave me an estimate about what it would cost to get it shipped. He explained the process, that that was an estimate and that he put that out there. If any drivers were willing to transport it for that cost, then that would be the cost. If he couldn't get anybody willing to do it for that cost, then we would go up on the amount from there.

He explained to me also that it was dependent on the urgency of my need to have this car here. It is an extra car. So it was not anything I needed in a hurry. I went with the lower rates that he told me upfront may not work, and then he called me back and said, "I can't quite do it for that rate. There's somebody willing to do it for about $75 more," and we talked through that process, because I wasn't in a huge hurry. I said, "Well, if it's just about getting it done now, I don't mind waiting. But if you're advising me that you think it's gonna take more than that to ever get it done, then I'm happy to go up." He advised me through that process and went up by it a little bit and he got it picked up.

The only frustration I had was that the driver gave me a window of time and he arrived outside of that window. Also in terms of dropping it off, AmeriFreight advertised door-to-door so I had given my home address. When the driver called, he said he was in a big truck so I said, instead of taking it to my home, which is a residential area and it might be tough to turn that around, I gave him the option of bringing it my place of work, which is a hospital with a huge parking lot. We take deliveries with big trucks all the time and he said okay and to text him the address.

I didn't hear from him or didn't see him, so I called and he said that the parking lot wasn't big enough, looking out on the map so he had taken the car to a Walmart and I could come meet him there. I had to leave work and went over there in a hurry so it was an inconvenience. But I don't think that driver's decision to not bring it directly to me or not negotiate that further is a reflection on AmeriFreight. So it would not discourage me from using AmeriFreight again, but it was not exactly what I thought I was paying for. Nevertheless, Terrell called to check and make sure everything worked out okay. He was all good and the driver was polite. The vehicle was dirty, but I expected that going across country. I would use AmeriFreight again.

I was doing a military move and some of the reviews that I read were more favorable than others. Samantha was the one who put me on the list with AmeriFreight and she was really great. She was really responsive and she responded in an extremely timely fashion. However, we had scheduled for one day and I waited around all day that day. But unfortunately, the driver called late in the evening to tell me that he was gonna have to reschedule for the following day. That was a hassle and a little annoying. But the delivery was great. The driver couldn't get the hauler into the neighborhood but he was able to park across the street and deliver my car to me. I didn't have to go anywhere. He came straight to the house. Considering the service we received, the cost was fair and I would recommend others to check AmeriFreight out. I would tell them to check out other options as well though, because I never go with my first.

I’m moving to the West Coast and I was shipping my car from Saratoga, New York out to Seattle, Washington. AmeriFreight was in the ball park as far as price but their reputation as far as doing this on a regular basis was the major weighing factor. I was shipping my car 3,000 miles and I wanted to make sure it got there in one piece, and they seemed to have all the ducks in a row as far as getting themselves organized and making it happen for me.

We had a little problem finding a carrier for about 48 hours. We had one, then he refused to come up to my area so we had to find somebody else. It got accomplished in a matter of days and it all worked out. The carrier was a nice guy. He kept in touch with me on the road as he was going out there to begin with, so at least I was reassured that everything was going well. He gave me his email address and allowed me to text him. I did it once to see how things were going and he responded. The car arrived early and in one piece without any issue. If I ever have to ship again, AmeriFreight will probably be the carrier that I’d choose and see if they can do the same job the second time around.

I was doing a cross-country move from Baltimore to San Francisco. I looked at Google reviews for AmeriFreight and they were decent. The rep initially quoted me 1,300 which was 350 less than what I ended up paying which was 1,700 to 1,800. It was pricier than the rest of the companies but I gave them good service stars in Google because I never had any issues with the driver and the agent as well, who was very responsive.

I was impressed with the driver because he was flexible and he was so easy to work with. It was like a partnership. I live in a very hilly, mountainous area and we arranged during that day where to meet. I was pretty impressed about that because some companies would set to the stone wherever they wanted to meet the week and it was gonna be it. But this guy was pretty awesome. The bottom line is, they did great and I was happy with the service. They're reliable and accountable even though they're expensive. It could have been better if it was at least less than 200 bucks but comparing to my other transactions to other companies, my move with AmeriFreight was the smoothest ever.

AmeriFreight offered the best deal. In addition to that, the transport organizer I dealt with was nice. In fact, he was the one who gave the best price. We filled out the form together and when we had an issue with the truck driver, he talked to him. The car was supposed to be picked up over at my son's house but then, the driver called and told my son to take his car to some truck stop. Nevertheless, the car was in good shape when it got to me so everything's fine.

At first, I had tried several other transport companies and we've even done bookings but they were crappy to deal with. They were rude and not at all professional. On another hand, AmeriFreight's website is much better designed, clearer, and all good. I dealt with the transport organizer named Richard and he was very pleasant to deal with. He was good natured and well-spoken.

I also had number of interactions with the delivery driver and he was a really lovely, young man. He was very polite and helpful. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that the quote ended up to be $200 more than the quote but everybody I dealt with was that way. It wasn't real clear why but I had tried it with other companies and it was the same run-around. Overall, the transport took about 5 days and it was within the range that they said.

I needed to have my vehicle shipped from Pennsylvania to Texas. AmeriFreight had the best rating and their price was attractive, but I didn’t end up paying what they quoted. I paid about $200 more. They said it could be an option, but in terms of the way it occurred, there wasn’t a previous discussion. It was, "This is what we've secured a driver for." They don't really provide much of a service. They have a booking portal that everyone uses, and they go fishing to see how they'll be able to secure a driver. They just initiate the transaction, find your driver, get the driver's name and the number, and that gets sent to you. But then it's up to you to work with the driver.

The transport organizer was just transactional and not very helpful. The driver was very good, though. He was a young gentleman who was responsive and took responsibility for his delivery. My car was picked up on a Friday and delivered on a Monday evening at about 9:00 PM. I received it in good working order. Overall, in terms of the value-adding, I don’t really see how AmeriFreight is differentiating themselves from other organization, so they're really a booking service. It is the relationship between you and the driver of the truck that is important, in terms of getting status update. I took a phone call from AmeriFreight to see if I'd heard anything from the driver, and if I had their number. The rep could have gone to the driver and asked if he heard from the customer and not the other way around. I would not recommend them to a friend. The service wasn't really there.

Samantha was the AmeriFreight representative that I spoke with, and she was very reliable and very informative in all of the questions that I had. She was very consistent in everything that she told me. She always called when she said she was gonna call, which was refreshing. Dealing with other aspects of my move where I wasn’t getting that, it was nice to have someone who would actually do what they said they were going to do. And also, the pricing was right. They provided me with a free quote and it was completely fair. What I paid was exactly what they quoted me.

I got a call in advance from the carrier driver to let me know when I could expect them to arrive. Once they arrived, they were very careful and diligent about loading my car. However, they were a lot more flexible about things that could go in the car than what I was initially told and I wasn’t quite prepared for that. It would’ve helped out a lot in my move knowing in advance what I would’ve been able to actually ship with my car as far as household items. But other than that, it was a flawless experience and AmeriFreight was on top of things. Then on the receiving end, my husband was the one to be there to retrieve it. They contacted him a day in advance to let him know they would be arriving, so he was prepared. He said they were very nice and everything went really well. My car was in perfect condition when it got to California and it got there about three days before they said it would. It was a very easy process.

I needed to ship my car when we moved. While my choosing AmeriFreight had to do with the price, it definitely came in higher. They seem to play games when it comes to giving a much lower initial quote to get the customer sucked in, then the price winds up being significantly higher, and I find that to be deceiving. But from talking to people who had their vehicle shipped, I expected the price to be more or less what it came out to be.

The transport organizers were great, though. They followed up a great deal and there was a lot of communication. I spoke to different people there every time I called and they all seemed well-connected. They looked into whoever I needed to talk to, so that was fine. The carrier driver was good too. He was very thorough and polite. He went above and beyond to get our car delivered to a somewhat complicated location and he had it all ready to go when we were there. The guy is a speed demon and the time it took him to get so fast from Florida to Washington State was impressive. AmeriFreight scheduled the delivery of my car and got the job done, and it was delivered. My experience with them was fine and I would recommend them.

I was moving from Utah to Oklahoma. I quickly looked at the internet and did a couple of bids, and AmeriFreight seemed to be reasonable. However, what I paid them ended up being more than what I was quoted, and I was very disappointed with the service. I’m not gonna be using them again. It was very difficult to get a hold of them, both phone and email, to get a status update on what’s happening throughout the whole process. I didn’t realize that they were just the middleman to book a service since it's my first time. They are basically a third party that I had to get a hold of and then, they would find a vendor that’s why the price was up more. Had I known that, I would have just gone directly to somebody else.

They sort of screen the people that they work with, which is fine. I’m willing to pay a little bit more for that. Except that, when I asked them, “Okay, so they’re gonna contact me? Am I dealing with you or am I dealing with the actual shipper, the truck driver?” They said, “Oh, no. They’re gonna call you, the truck driver.” And then the person that they ended up using was super hard to deal with because of his super thick accent. His English was definitely a second language. AmeriFreight should have been communicating with them since I’m paying them as the middleman.

I had to leave already out of state which I let the truck driver know ahead of time. The actual picking up and delivery was fine. My car wasn’t damaged but it was still, “So you’re coming on Friday?” “Yes. I’m gonna call you back to give you an actual time.” And then, the day before, I’m still waiting. I called and said, “Hey, I’m calling you again. You said you’re gonna call me.” He said, “Yeah, I’ll get back to you. I’ll call you by three.” Then, three o’clock comes by and then I called again, “Yes, we’re gonna come tomorrow.” I said, “Okay, because you told me you were going to call me. You haven’t done that.”

But still, they called and said, "Oh, no, we’ll not gonna get there tomorrow.” They promised to come on Saturday. And then, I had to call on the day, only to tell me that they won't be there until the next day. That would have been fine except they told me on the day instead of some service saying, “Hey, you know, we’re actually 12 hours out. We’re not gonna make it today because we gotta pull over.” But that didn’t happen. The driver was aware that when he dropped it off, he said, “You know, I’m lucky that I even got it to you at this moment in time because I’m already behind on these other deliveries.” I wouldn’t recommend anybody to use AmeriFreight. It was a horrible service.

I was moving from Boston to Omaha for a job, and instead of driving across country, I stayed with my mom in L.A. for a couple of weeks. We had packed up our stuff in a pod and instead of having to deal with the car, we decided to ship it. I filled something out for a quote from a bunch of different sites and when AmeriFreight's came back, the name sounded familiar. I had shipped a car five years back and everything went really well that time. So I searched my email and sure enough, it was the same company.

When I called to follow up on the quote, they were busy the first time. But the representative called me back and he was very professional. I made several changes to the order because I didn't know my exact schedule. And at that time, they had carriers that were ready to take my car and he already had multiple phone calls with them to set it up. I had said yes then I had to change it. So I was getting frustrated but he was very nice about it. The communication was great.

I talked to the carrier on the phone before the pickup and he was nice as well. He let me pick the day and I had a couple of different time options to choose from. So that worked fine. It went smoothly when he picked it up. Plus they picked it up and dropped it off when they said they were going to. The transport took seven days but the car sat in Boston because we had them pick it up earlier than what they had officially said. We did that because it worked for our schedule. Had they picked it up on the day they wanted to, it would have been six days. Also, everything was fine with the car when it arrived. It was in good condition.

What I paid in the end was more than the quote. But the quote didn't include insurance and other things that I was willing to pay because of the fact that the work paid for the relocation. I added those, which made the price go up. But still, the price was what I thought it would be. As a customer, you want your car to get to where it's going for as cheap as possible and safely. You also want to get in the end what you were told you were gonna get. And AmeriFreight did all of those for me.

We moved from Kentucky down to Tennessee. We had two vehicles and they needed to be moved because the property and their storage capabilities were sold. My wife and my daughter-in-law looked for carriers online and they checked with me who we wanted to go with. Their costs were similar and we selected AmeriFreight. We were pleased with the way they handled it. They put it out to a bid and the gentleman that moved the vehicles was very efficient. He was a good and knowledgeable guy. He made it a long and eventful activity and it worked out very well.

The vehicles were put on an open trailer and it didn’t rain during the transport, so nothing occurred between Kentucky and Tennessee that would affect the condition of the car. They were taken care of and they arrived on time. AmeriFreight did everything that was required so we accomplished the task and I wouldn’t have any problem recommending them to somebody on the West Coast or locally.

We were moving across the country and when we looked online for a transport company, we found AmeriFreight and they were highly reviewed and highly rated. The transport organizer was very helpful and a great guy. We got a free quote. They gave us a low quote but the price came in much higher. And when I talked to them then, they made it sound like it was just the going rate. The free quote seems pointless. Also, there was some delays on the delivery. They were late on the day that they said they were gonna deliver the vehicle. And even the next day, they were several hours after they said they were gonna be there. They confirmed the day they were gonna be there, and they arrived 36 to 48 hours after that. Overall, I was moderately satisfied with the experience.

I looked AmeriFreight up online and went with it. The transport organizers were great and they did their job well. They were phenomenal. However, my car didn’t get picked up until almost four days later and I had to call the company to get a date and the company gave me the driver’s phone number. I had to call the driver to see. Nobody from the company reached out to me at all ever on any occasion. After it was picked up, it was delivered roughly two days after I was told the estimated arrival date would be and I had to call them on the day they were gonna deliver it. They tried to tell me they weren’t gonna deliver my car because I had to go to work and I couldn’t get out based upon what time they were gonna be there when they gave me zero notice. They were gonna deliver it on the same day, so I had to force their hand to deliver it between my non-working hours, which they weren’t very happy about.

The company that shipped the car and the people absolutely failed at their job and their customer service was horrendous, and I probably wouldn’t use them again because of it. I entrusted them with my vehicle and paid thousands of dollars upfront, but I didn't even get one phone call throughout the entire process. That was unsatisfactory to me. Nonetheless, my vehicle got here safely and there were no cosmetic issues with it. However, they influenced me to find a way to either ship my things or to make time to drive my things.

It was the first time I’ve ever shipped any of my vehicles and if this is how it is in the auto transport industry, it will also be the last based upon my experience because of the amount of money and the way the whole situation went down. I definitely wouldn’t recommend AmeriFreight and I would tell others not to expect any verbal interaction with the company even for what they pay. Also, they should not trust the timeline they are given for receiving and delivering their vehicle.

My daughter has to go back to school and we went on the web and filled out a bunch of different requests for a quote to ship a vehicle. AmeriFreight came back initially and so, I went with them. However, their numbers a little off, so it was little deceptive. I was quoted a different price and it was estimated. They caveat it as an estimate. By the time it was all said and done, the price was higher. But once we worked through the issues, they were fairly responsive and I had no problem with the driver. It was a little frustrating, though, because I needed to get the car picked up at a certain time and they missed the mark. Then, once the car got picked up, I directly coordinated with the trucker himself. I was contacted twice a week to let me know where the car was and how things were going. It took three weeks from beginning to end.

I'm really disappointed with the way they managed it from the beginning. The management has to do a better job in understanding the cost to ship cars because whatever matrix or calculations they were using to come up with estimates are clearly off. They can be more realistic with the number. Don't kinda low-ball it to get a customer in and come back later and say, "Oh, the route’s really busy. There’s fine demand."

AmeriFreight helped me move 2,500 miles across the country and the transport took six days. Their rep was professional and helpful. They found and picked the carrier, which was amazing. The carrier is the really important part because they’re in charge of your car. However, AmeriFreight won’t be able to tell you when your car is leaving until the day before it’s leaving. It was surprising that they don’t start looking for a carrier until the day of pick up or the day before. They found one very quickly after they started looking though, which was great. I’d recommend AmeriFreight.

We were moving from Florida to Oregon, so I sent out feelers to several different companies. AmeriFreight got back to me and gave me a good price on such a big move. I got their free quote and the final price was just a little bit over it, so it was pretty accurate. Also, the total was still lower than all the other companies I could find.

We were in contact regularly with the AmeriFreight rep to set up the shipment, and she was really, really helpful. She always kept me up-to-date and worked seemingly pretty hard on getting everything done on time. Even though the trucking company was being a little uncooperative, she was pretty persistent in getting me what I needed, so I was very satisfied with that. The day of delivery was a little strange because we didn't get any communication from the driver as to what was happening, so I had to inquire. They got here earlier than we did, so they had to store it for a little bit. We had to coordinate picking it up, so that was a little haphazard and not very organized, but it eventually happened.

I was moving so I looked at three to five transport companies and decided to go with AmeriFreight because of their price. It was my first time ever shipping a car and the transport organizer helped me out and stayed in contact with me. Their quote was accurate. The carrier driver was calm. He came by to pick the car up and then, he encountered some weather coming across the country so he wasn’t here in about a day but everything went really well. I met him at a specified location which was about two miles down the road. So far, everything in the vehicle looked like the way it looked when we loaded it.

I learned that AmeriFreight was a broker. What I didn’t like about the process is, it sounded like we waited that long for people so maybe the price should go a little cheaper, where to me, as I get closer to the deadline, things started to get more expensive. So I don’t know if I’d use AmeriFreight again. I would just go through a person that has trucks because the price I paid AmeriFreight was the price that I could have paid a different carrier. It sounds all good and dandy when you’re told about the rate. But then, you throw in the broker fee on top of that and that puts you basically at the price of what I could have locked something in for, knowing that I have so much going on. It was a positive experience though since I’ve never shipped any car before. I just know I’d use some things different. I think we all learn from doing things as we go forward.

Our oldest son had recently graduated from college and was starting a job in California. We live in Texas and my son had a car. He and my husband drove a U-Haul out there with some of his stuff and we wanted to have the car shipped separately. Among the transport companies, AmeriFreight has the best rate. I also got a quick response from them from my initial inquiry. When I got my quote, I did it online and I thought it was very reasonable compared to another piece of information I had from somebody locally here in Austin.

Their transport organizer was great to work with. His name was Harry and he responded initially, to my initial inquiry with an email with a quote and information about the process. I followed up with some additional questions, which he got right back to me on. Then, once we got to the point where we were signing the contract, he called me and walked me through the process. And everything happened exactly as he said it was gonna happen. In addition to that, he kept tabs on everything through the whole process.

Working with the driver was very positive. We had been given a two-day window that he was gonna be picking it up. And it was on the first day, he contacted me in the afternoon to say he was still in Houston and he might be able to pick it up later that evening. He told me that it would depend on the traffic getting out of Houston. Then, he contacted me a bit later to say he was hang-up and asked if the next morning would be fine. I told him, "absolutely." The next morning, he texted me about 10 minutes before he was here, which was right when he said he was gonna be here to pick up the car. He got the car and took it in. He was very professional and efficient. It took in no time to pick up the car. He got it to California earlier versus when they initially thought the car would be there.

Overall, I had a very positive experience with AmeriFreight. They were very responsive. Everybody involved in the process that I spoke with was very courteous. They even went out of their way to make sure we understood the process, to see if there was anything else we needed help with. And I was very impressed with the level of customer service that we received, plus, the whole process went exactly as according to plan, on time and everything. So I would highly recommend AmeriFreight. And since, we'll have two cars that might need to be shipped, I would definitely go back to them to do that.

AmeriFreight was definitely not the cheapest but I wanted to go with reliability. I ended up paying way more than what they quoted me. They told me that there weren't that many people that go to Oklahoma and they couldn't find anybody to pick up the quote that they originally told me. But overall, it was an okay process. The rep that I worked with wasn't always the best at returning my calls, but if I called their direct line, I was always able to get somebody that would either help me or pass me onto him. He was always very pleasant when I talk to him, and he answered my questions. I had an issue with the car when it arrived, and he was as helpful than he probably could have been.

The driver called and told me that he was on the way and that everything was good except with a few dents. So we're still in the middle of all this. He said that it was the dealership, and the dealership said it was him. AmeriFreight has nothing to do with that but they were helpful with sending me the insurance information, and the rep tried to follow up with me.

The organizer was polished and well-versed in the profession, although I had a situation where I wouldn't be at the new location right away and I needed the car to be delayed and delivered a week or two after I got there. The communication with the carrier was a little confusing and they didn't seem to know that I needed the car a week after I got there because I was taking a trip. On the day I was leaving for the trip, the local carrier called and asked if he could bring it. It eventually got straightened out and they brought it the next week on the date that I requested.

Initially they gave me a quote of 1,095, and I came in with the information that it would be more because I'd read the online reviews and people consistently said it would be more. It was typically $300 more and I eventually paid $1,500. A relative gave the initial carrier the car and it went perfectly fine. The guy was helpful. The second carrier was not the over-the-road carrier because it was a one-car tow truck, but it was a nice tow truck which was an advantage for me because they could deliver directly to the subdivision. I was totally satisfied as far as the carriers on both ends.

We moved the car from Arizona to Ohio. I priced out a couple of different transport companies and I spoke to a few on the phone. AmeriFreight had good prices and they were keeping in contact with me while some people didn’t want me calling them until three days before. It was a month before that we started looking and they had us booked out. They had a trucker booked two weeks before. So, we decided to pick them knowing that my vehicle was gonna get booked and that they have more reliability. They told me how the bidding process was. They gave me what the numbers were and then it becomes a bidding process. But the rep said, “With the way the prices were looking, this is what we’re estimated to pay.” They obviously started lower and then tried to work their way up. But what he had said was what’s going right now for the two vehicles. It was exactly what we paid and we got 250 off of that.

Harry, the transport organizer was very good. He called me twice just to make sure everything was okay, on both ends, when we dropped the car back and when we took them on. When we dropped the cars off, the drivers were nice and accommodating, and the place was more convenient for us than the original scheduled location. It was very organized. They took all the pictures or the videos, sent us the videos through the email so we don’t have to worry about taking pictures or a video. Everything was marked very clearly. When my father picked our cars up, he said everything went fine. It took about eight days to ship the vehicle.

My husband is a physician so we’ve moved a lot with his training. I know a lot of the wives that I’ve spoken to have moved a lot and used car transportation a lot. So, I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about people not showing up or driver cancelling on them and they’re kinda stuck. But with AmeriFreight, everything was relayed to us. We got a phone call the night before saying a time frame of when the truck driver was coming. They then called half an hour before to let us know when they’re coming. In between that two-hour window or three-hour window, they gave us the same thing on the other end. They called the night before to confirm that. Everything was given the exact, same day. Everything was perfect, no damage done to our vehicles. Everything we put in the vehicle was secured so we were very pleased. Everything went smoothly.

We used the moving companies to get quotes and then North American said they book directly with AmeriFreight and I wasn’t entirely impressed by the $800 quote I was given. AmeriFreight said it could vary and that was the lowest estimate. It ended up being almost $1200, which was quite a bit more. I could’ve said no and waited for a different quote, but we were closing on our house and with the craziness of moving and the uncertainty of who could give them the vehicle, I felt pressure on my end and accepted the offer.

While the rep was fine, it was a little confusing as to when we would hear back. There was no information to be said because there weren’t any bids given for the vehicle to be transported and even though that’s completely normal up until about a week before the move, I was a bit concerned. There was so much going on and there are three young kids, one being a new born. I just was happy to have the vehicle shipped.

The driver was very polite on the phone and even though we never met since I had already flown out, I was very happy with him. My father-in-law gave him the vehicle, which got sent to Farmington before we got there so a family friend picked it up. Both my father-in-law and our family friend said that the driver was absolutely wonderful and friendly. He would keep them in contact and was there right when he said he would. The shipment itself was very uneventful, which is exactly what I want in that situation.

I needed to ship a vehicle out to my son who is attending college across the country. I decided on using AmeriFreight based on the reviews, what I’d seen online and the conversation I had with the agent I worked with. The quote wasn’t what I ended up paying but I understand that’s commonplace in that industry. The price might have also been a little bit high but it worked out okay. It was pretty much in line with what I expected. It was a good experience in general.

We are an engineering contractor firm so we use commercial equipment for construction. We also use different construction equipment like pulleys. We used AmeriFreight to bring in equipment. They were very friendly in the quoting, fair in price, and was helping me a lot on the process. We bought an equipment and had to move it fast. We called other companies but they very slow in the response. So I repeat with AmeriFreight. They have the structure to support me very quickly.

I sent the information to the lady who talked to me in the beginning. She did the quoting and forwarded that to me and the guy who scheduled the transport was very good. The driver had a big trailer and I didn't think he could bring anything so, he needed to make sure but they didn't overcharge me. Also, the guy who went to pick up had to bring another equipment so he spent the time fix and pick up the equipment. But I was a little bit lost on the coordination with the pickup. There was some delay. Also, I was thinking they should call the pickup place before arriving. They told me they were coordinated and they they were going to call the place but they didn’t. Other than that, the delivery driver contacted me and everything was okay. The overall experience was great.

I was moving one of our kids to college and we hired AmeriFreight based on the online reviews initially, and then the level of responsiveness that I got once I reached out to them. The initial quote was low and my issue was that it ultimately became $400 or so above the initial estimate. But the transport organizer was excellent. She was very responsive by phone and by email. She was very upfront, very helpful and explained the entire process. The driver for the pickup and delivery was also great. He was very friendly, professional and courteous, The vehicle also arrived just like when it left, no issues. So the xperience is better than expected.

We bought a new vehicle out of Texas and have it shipped to Arizona through AmeriFreight. The original quote they gave us was great but it was a few dollars off the actual amount that we paid. We dealt with Jarrell and he exceeded my expectations. Anytime I had a question, he went ahead and took care of it and got me an answer right away. So, I was really impressed.

AmeriFreight gave use the best quote. It was a lot of money but it seemed lower compared to everybody else. My wife handled most of the communication with AmeriFreight but it was pretty clear-cut. The driver interacted with me when he picked up the car and he was very nice. The car was delivered in two days and it was faster than we thought it would take.

We were doing a military move and we liked AmeriFreight's price, so we went with them. The delivery driver did a great job. He made it there even before we thought we would get the vehicle. So, that was pretty good because we needed the car. And it was exactly how we gave it to him.

My daughter was going out, cross country, to the West Coast for college. I did some research for shipping a vehicle and I saw some bad reviews and stories about cars ending up in different cities, overcharging and not releasing the car. Then I looked at AmeriFreight and saw that they were given great reviews in the Better Business Bureau and others. I contacted them and I worked with Samantha. She was fantastic and very informative. She gave me some of the pros and cons of shipping a car. I would’ve liked it cheaper and I did receive cheaper quotes from other carriers. But to ensure that the car would get there safely and without damage, it was worth it. I paid a little extra because I had a comfort level with AmeriFreight.

The driver even alerted me that he noticed, halfway across the country, that a tire was flat. I had just bought brand new tires for the shipment and we didn't know it happened. But he replaced the tire with the exact same one. He even made some effort to find a similar dealer to find that tire. So I was impressed. The transport took about four days, which wasn’t bad. We flew there two days after the car left and it was there two days after we got there. It was perfect. We had a lot of other stuff to do and it came in the right time. AmeriFreight did exactly what they committed to and they did a good job. I was very satisfied and I really enjoyed the experience. As a matter of fact, I've referred them to other people and if my daughter decides to go anywhere else, I’m using them again.

AmeriFreight's actual price is too different from the quote so they should make some improvement on that quote forecast. But as far as the reps who organized the transport they are very nice and very friendly. Everything has been fine.

I bought a vehicle on eBay and decided instead of going to pick it up, I would have it shipped. It was the first time I had ever done that so I started looking, trying to find a shipper. The shipping business is really kinda sketchy and I was looking for the right shipping company for me and I found AmeriFreight, which was based in Peachtree City and not far from me. They had really good reviews so I called them up and got it going. The guy I was dealing with was super helpful and explained all the steps and made me understand the process.

It was about a week before they picked it up and it was a few days after that when it was delivered. As far as the communication goes, the guy at AmeriFreight, Harry, was super good. I would call him and he was like, “I’ll call you right back.” Then he would get on the phone and start tracking it down. However, the guy who was actually hauling the vehicle wouldn’t return Harry and I’s calls. He told me, “I’ll be there this morning at 8 o’clock,” and he didn’t show up.” So that part was a little bit stressful. I never heard from him again for two more days. But there was no issue at all with AmeriFreight. They were very good and I would recommend them to a friend. If I was hauling another vehicle I would definitely call them.

My car had been in Florida and then it needed to be in North Carolina to go to a different owner. I looked at four companies and decided on AmeriFreight because of their price and internet reputation. The rep was very good and there were lots of communication. She told me what to expect, what would happen and then she checked back in. I had a little problem getting communication from the company they used, but she helped me out with that. The rep implied that the quote she gave me would be the highest I would be charged, and it might be lower. However, when she called back to tell me they got somebody to take the job, she made it sound like I should be happy that the price was the same as what they quoted. I was hoping the price would be lower but it came in at what they quoted so that’s fine.

The person that found the carrier was very informative. He stayed in contact with me, kept me up to date of what was going on and gave me his recommendation. He did an awesome a job. The driver was a pretty good guy. We spoke and he showed me some things. On the other end, they had to wait to start the vehicle because I wasn’t there, and he took his time and showed me what they did on our end. We got the vehicle to start up and put it in my garage. I’m satisfied with AmericaFreight with the way they did business, and I have referred them to a couple of friends.

I used to live in California and I needed my car delivered to Orlando, Florida. I did my research online and I saw that AmeriFreight has good reviews and they usually do a good job. Richard was my organizer and he was wonderful. He was really helpful and kind. The pick up and the delivery of the car both went good. The car was delivered on time and the transport took eight days overall. The carrier driver was nice. Once we met, I had the chance to inspect the car and then I gave him the money.

I was moving from California to Ohio and AmeriFreight had the best ratings and reviews on the internet. I was comfortable with their quote as I felt that it was the best I could get out there. I was able to get it online and then I was able to call them and get a quote as well. We had set everything up and the rep was going to call me when they found somebody to get it done. It came to three days before I was supposed to leave and I never received an email or a call. I called and found out that she had quit. Larry took over and he was able to get me somebody within the next two days. I was more than happy that he was able to find somebody within a short period of time due to his case being moved to somebody else. He was extremely helpful and I really appreciate that 'cause we were really in a bind. We were literally moving that week and we had already moved our household goods. The car was the last piece that needed to be moved across country.

The delivery was a little wonky because we weren’t in our house yet, so the driver wasn’t able to get the truck down on our street. We met up with him at the Cleveland airport and picked up the car there. Larry called me a few times after it was delivered to make sure it was delivered. He even called the day after he came back into the office to make sure my car was picked up and everything was good.
