I purchased a vehicle so it had to go from one state to another. The online search showed that AmeriFreight was a good company. The organizer was very communicative, trustworthy and nice. Their quote was slightly higher but it didn't change throughout the process. Also, the drivers were great people. They called me and let me know how it was going along the process. When they got here, the car was in perfect shape. They seemed to care about it so I knew it was in good hands. Plus the car got here sooner.

We're in New York and my son is going to school in Colorado, and so he needed his car. I went online and found AmeriFreight. And then, my husband did a little research and he called them. The quote that we were given was reasonable and it was exactly what we were looking for. The actual cost of the transport was a little high, but we knew it was not gonna be a cheap endeavor. We would've like to have paid less than we did, but compared to other ones, it maybe even a little less expensive.

I had to leave a message initially, but they called back within 20 minutes. I gathered the information and I called them back a few days later and set the transport up. The overall cost of the service wasn't so much. I was concerned about going lower to save bucks but not have the car get there in the shape I wanted it to get there. We ordered an open carrier that is less expensive, but the guys that showed up had a closed carrier, so my car got through North Carolina in an enclosed vehicle, which was really great for the same price.

The distance was far and the transport took six days -- that was within what I expected. Once the carrier people got here, they raised the price up, but I didn't care about that. I was told that the delivery might take eight days and it ended up only taking five. AmeriFreight was good and very efficient and I would recommend them. I have to ship another vehicle soon and I'd probably try to get in touch with the same guy.

She was there to ensure that I got my car safely and when she explained the whole process to me, the meaning was easily understandable. Plus, every time I talked to her, she gave me updates on what was going on. The driver was professional and on the day of delivery, he brought the car right to the door. The car was in the same condition as when I gave it to him. AmeriFreight is definitely a good option.

We purchased a vehicle in an online auction and needed to ship it to us. We shopped several places based on pricing and how fast they could get the vehicle to us. AmeriFreight was a bit on the low end of pricing and their timing was a little better. The final cost was a bit higher compared to the initial quote. But the rep who helped get everything going was very communicative and she checked in several times during the process. She did a great job as far as that went. Although the carrier driver did not communicate really well, he was prompt and very polite. I had to contact him to confirm the time and we met at the specified location. The vehicle was great when it arrived. I would recommend AmeriFreight.

I bought a vehicle out-of-state and I had AmeriFreight get it to me as they had the best online reviews. They were nice, very clear on everything, and didn’t hide any fees. They were also very prompt with getting me a quote and the one they gave me was spot-on. I got a call from the carrier driver each day to let me know where they were and on the day of the delivery, which was two days after the vehicle was picked up, he let me know that he was 30 minutes away. Then I went and got it. The vehicle was in perfect condition and AmeriFreight was so great. If I had to do this again, I wouldn’t use anyone else.

My transport organizer from AmeriFreight was professional and good. My car was delivered from California to Dallas within a week. The carrier driver looked at my car and we went through the paperwork. I received my car. We did a quick inspection and signed the papers. Everything was good, but I would have preferred to get a better price. They said no carrier is accepting anything. Apart from their reviews that looked good, another reason I chose them was because of the initial price that they quoted. It was lower from others. Others were quoting around a thousand and I got the $750 quote from them. I waited for a week, but nothing happened, and I had to increase my price to 1,100.

I bought a vehicle and I had AmeriFreight ship it based on the price. They were also on it when they made a call and they found people to ship my vehicle quickly. The rep whom I worked with was good at getting back to me and getting with it on the shipping because they transfer hands. The whole transport was a six-day process. The driver was great. If I'd have another vehicle I need to ship, I would call them first.

I came across AmeriFreight on a site with a list of transporters and I thought it was good. But the prices of the transporters were all over the place. It had something to do with how much the transporters wanted to do in terms of filling up their vehicles with cars or if they didn't want to go back empty, they'll reduce the price so they have a full carriage of cars to take back and forth. There are also a lot of people moving back and forth for the holidays. The prices varied from $1,300 but AmeriFreight was in the $600-$700 range.

I've used AmeriFreight previously and also used them when I moved across country. Their customer service was mediocre this time around. I wasn't particularly happy with their communication around times and the way they talked to me about it. The person I spoke to led me to believe that I would have a sense that the car would be shipped off sooner. So I booked the flight across country to happen while my car was being shipped. I was under the impression I could do that. The flight was not that far in advance but at least enough far in advance based on the information they would give me. But they knocked my expectations and told me the day before they were picking up my car, which wasn't my experience the first time and it wasn't what they led me to believe would happen.

Gerald, the organizer, was good. He was contacting me whenever there was a company willing to transport and he was discussing the price quote with me. The end number was a little lower than the price quoted to me. The driver was a little accommodating when he picked up, and then he came in much earlier than needed. But he held my car at his place for multiple days and then he drove back up and delivered it whenever I wanted it. So, it was pretty pleasant. The actual shipping was only three days total. But because of my timeline schedule, I had to delay much longer. So, I’m pretty happy with the way it went.

AmeriFreight gave me a reasonable rate and their reps kept me informed about everything. The courier driver was also very nice. There was a couple of dings on one of the car, and he showed me everything.

I had a truck in Florida and I had the engine replaced but it took many months, so I had it shipped back home. I chose to go with AmeriFreight as the person I talked with on the phone seemed very competent and the interaction we had was fantastic. The carrier driver was okay, although he came with a pick-up truck, towing a trailer with three cars on it. So, it was not like I would picture, coming in a big car carrier. The pick-up truck was like a Dodge diesel pickup, like a 24,000-pound trailer. Other than that, my truck looked fine. Overall, AmeriFreight was very good.

AmeriFreight moved our truck from Massachusetts to California. I got a referral from my niece's boyfriend. He's in the military and he used AmeriFreight to transport his car also from Massachusetts to California, and he was pleased with the experience. We were also satisfied with AmeriFreight. The quote they offered was good. It wasn't a lot less than other offers, but it was reasonable. I told them I needed to put some things into the truck to transport, and they were very reasonable about it. Our the transport organizer, Ben, was very good. We weren't sure when we were doing the move because, from January to now, we've had two houses, one in Massachusetts and one in California. We weren't sure of when we really wanted to ship the car out. I've made several changes to the date with Ben, and he was always very accommodating with it. He didn't get irritated with me, which I would have been irritated with me.

I was getting out of the military and moving cross-country. The transport took about a week and a half but I ended up paying an extra $500 and I was a little upset about that. The representative I worked with was great though. He explained everything and was apologetic about the increase in price. However, after doing research and getting other quotes from other people, I saw that it happened with other companies as well. Besides, AmeriFreight is Better Business Bureau-accredited and they had good reviews. The representative had also explained that the price could go up. The one negative thing was that he didn’t explain how much it could go up.

AmeriFreight had a good price and there was the recommendation that Edmunds used them to do some shipping of cars. So I chose AmeriFreight and the customer service was terrific. My car arrived a day earlier than I did but they were able to meet up with me and return the vehicle. There was a big difference between the quote and what I had to pay for though. But other than that, I had a good experience with AmeriFreight and my vehicle was in good condition when it arrived. It rained when we arrived so that helped wash it from any dust or debris that was on the car, which was to be expected from a long drive like that.

AmeriFreight's quote was in line with the industry. The transport organizer did a fabulous job. She was on top of things, she communicated well and the feedback was good. Also, the carrier drivers did the best they can. They said transporting the vehicle that I bought was going to take three days but it took two days.

My car's engine blew up 62 miles east of Albuquerque. I got into Albuquerque but I needed to get the vehicle back to Iowa. I looked into an article that said AmeriFreight was one of the top 5 and they also had a good reputation on the web. I've also gotten a couple other quotes and AmeriFreight's quote was about the same or a little more but it was reasonable. I went with them and everything about the whole process was very good. They handled the shipping well and took care of business. The rep was upfront with me that part of the problem was they have to have somebody out there in Albuquerque who's willing to pick the vehicle up. If they can't pick it up another week, it's gonna be another week but it didn't really matter and in fact, it would've been fine if we would have gotten home before the vehicle.

My AmeriFreight transport organizer was great. She was very responsive and she called me back. Also, my experience with the driver went well. I gave him my landline but I didn't get any communication with him as far as being delayed. It turned out he was texting that number, thinking it was a cellphone. He kept me updated but I sat there saying why he wasn't calling and giving me any information. I finally called them and got the update.

The whole process with AmeriFreight was good. They told me in advance what the process was and it was exactly the same. The saleslady was very prompt. She was on top of it, calling us and calling all the necessary support. The pick up was done promptly and it took about a week for my car to arrive. There was a minor scratch on my car, but it was taken care of and the carrier paid for it.

We compared AmeriFreight to other providers and they had better reviews online. Aside from that, the price that they quoted was reasonable. We used them to ship our car when we moved from Lubbock, Texas to Boston and I was happy. From making a quote, getting a time for the agency and to organizing stuff, I talked to Samantha. She was very professional, cordial and excellent as an organizer. She followed up from the beginning to the end. It took seven days to get the delivery but the weather was bad so that was expected. When the vehicle arrived, it was good and there was no damage. It was in the same condition as we gave it to them.

They ended up squaring it out and she gave him a ride back and forth to his truck, but there was a little bit of friction there. Nonetheless, if I had to do it again, I will use AmeriFreight.

I had a relative pass away and I received a vehicle from the estate. So I was moving it from Florida to where I live. I wanted to make sure that I had some intermediary freight shipper that was rated well and that offered a decent price. I did some quick looking around and AmeriFreight's quote looked very reasonable compared to the other quotes I had seen. I had also shipped another vehicle before so I've become familiar with the fact that what you see as a quote is not actually going to be what you pay. You have to get within ballpark of there and expect a few hundred dollars' difference between what you pay and what you see online. In fact, the discrepancy with AmeriFreight was within a couple of hundred dollars.

I found out that they were the broker and they just get somebody to do it, which was fine with me. I was moving from Baltimore to Maryland, so I needed to ship my car and went with AmeriFreight because of the Google rates. I called the organizer and he called me several times and organized the transport. The driver called me one hour before the delivery and when he gave me back my vehicle, I was supposed to give him $525, but I didn’t have that money. I paid him $600 and told me that he will send me money back and he never did that.

I also had good interactions with the driver. He picked up the vehicle a week before Labor Day and was supposed to deliver it on Labor Day. I don’t blame them for not delivering it that day, but it arrived on the Wednesday after Labor Day. All in all, I had a better experience with them than it would've been at other truck delivery companies.

My son gave back a vehicle to my wife and it came out from Texas. AmeriFreight gave us the lowest bid and they had good ratings, so we went with them. We dealt with their rep, Tara, and she was helpful. But we had a hard time getting something put together. Whoever they hired to do it transported the car all the way for about 1,100 miles and it was supposed to have been delivered on Saturday, but it did not get here until Monday evening. The driver was a nice person to work with, though, and it wasn't his problem that it was late. He had another delivery scheduled somewhere for Saturday morning, which would have put him here Saturday evening, but the place he was delivering to was closed until Monday, so that was why he didn't get here. Also, I got a bid for $837, but by the time the contract came through, it was over $1,200. The first return was $1,350 then this one came back a little over $1,200.

My son was moving back from California to New Jersey. I looked at ratings of transport companies to ship his car and AmeriFreight looked favorable. I called about three companies up and AmeriFreight had a representative, Nicole, who was very helpful over the phone. Also, it sounded like they were in the ballpark of what it might cost, so I said yes. The organizer kept me informed. I got a free quote before the transport but there were some hiccups in between the communication on the quote information and on the question and answers. My stepfather-in-law is living with us and his car was in New York. We used AmeriFreight to have it shipped. They were cheaper than the others and the quote they gave me was fine. The actual carrier's quote came in higher, but still, not too much. The only thing was the company was completely lying to me on the phone when they said the driver was right around the corner. We had the car at a shop. It was supposed to be picked up at the shop before they close. So, the driver almost missed the pick up because the shop was closing. Then when he dropped it off, he barely went over anything in the car to check scratches. He got his money and he was gone. Also, he was scheduled to come in the afternoon and he showed up in the morning and didn't even bother to tell us that he was 20 minutes out. He just showed up. Luckily, my wife hadn't left yet. There were classic cars that needed to be transported down from Oregon to California. I heard through some of my friends that AmeriFreight is very reliable, something that is key especially with classic cars, so we used them. It was phenomenal with the carrier driver. The rate was overwhelmingly outstanding and I've never seen a vehicle like the one that was used. It was completely closed, so it has rubberized sliding panels. It was something else.

Worst experience. I ended up paying $1465 for open carrier transport (initial quote $1055) from Vienna, VA to Sacramento, CA. I requested for delivery by September 15th 2018, as I need to commute 100 miles, with first pick up date as September 3rd 2018. But, even after confirming the order on August 15th 2018 my car was picked up on September 12th, delivered on September 19th. Had to rent a car.

It’s best that they provide more than one pickup location which could help ensure your vehicle have multiple opportunities of pick up within timeframe requested for delivery and also may help with receiving a more accurate cost estimation. I would use them again because their rated quote beat all competitors for a total shipping mileage of 965 miles.

AmeriFreight's reviews online were good and their free quote was competitive. Also, the rep was polite and helpful. My car was picked up on September 14 and the person who came to pick it up was on time. Then, the guy who came to drop it off was also on time and he was courteous. They might have been able to deliver it on the 21st but I requested to have it on the 23rd. It was carried on a truck that wasn't enclosed, so it was a bit dirty when it arrived. But other than that, it was in good condition.

The whole process was very smooth, except that when the driver was going to deliver my third car which was delivered 10 days later that the other two, I was charged and had to pay $100 more. But other than that, everything has been fine and the entire process took two weeks. As soon as the drivers got the cars, they shipped these very fast.

It was good when I got it back. Overall, using AmeriFreight is not like Amazon where one clicks then somebody shows up to pick up the car. There are a lot of secondary things including shipping, but AmeriFreight does a good job of explaining the whole process.

They don't really provide much of a service. They have a booking portal that everyone uses, and they go fishing to see how they'll be able to secure a driver. They just initiate the transaction, find your driver, get the driver's name and the number, and that gets sent to you. But then it's up to you to work with the driver.

They were gonna deliver it on the same day, so I had to force their hand to deliver it between my non-working hours, which they weren’t very happy about.

Then, once the car got picked up, I directly coordinated with the trucker himself. I was contacted twice a week to let me know where the car was and how things were going. It took three weeks from beginning to end.

My experience with AmeriFreight went perfectly fine. I was moving 1500 miles and I needed to ship my vehicle. When I researched, AmeriFreight was one of the top transport companies. They were the first people I called and it seemed okay so I went through with it. Everyone seems cordial. The quote that I was given was accurate. I didn’t pay anything more. It was a nice bonus that I paid only for an open carrier but I got a close container so that was nice.

Two people I knew had worked with AmeriFreight previously and they were satisfied with the services. The organizer was polished and well-versed in the profession, although I had a situation where I wouldn't be at the new location right away and I needed the car to be delayed and delivered a week or two after I got there. The communication with the carrier was a little confusing and they didn't seem to know that I needed the car a week after I got there because I was taking a trip. On the day I was leaving for the trip, the local carrier called and asked if he could bring it. It eventually got straightened out and they brought it the next week on the date that I requested.

I used AmeriFreight because of the price and their good reviews. The organizer I dealt with was very good, but the person who made the experience the best was the driver. I would use AmeriFreight again because of him. He was phenomenal and he beat my expectations. I give him a ton of respect. I was so impressed. The transport took two days overall. There was fantastic communication throughout and the treatment of the car was phenomenal.

I was relocating and I had three vehicles shipped. The rep from AmeriFreight did her diligence to get it done, and my vehicles got here three days after I'd moved, which was pretty good. She always called me back and made sure that everything was going well. She did a really good job. Also, the driver unloaded the vehicles, I paid him and the transaction was quick and easy.

I bought a vehicle online and I needed to get it from Kansan to New York. I’d never done anything like that before, but I went online and looked at reviews. I was very overwhelmed. I researched with the Better Business Bureau and different things like that then I found that AmeriFreight had really good reviews. I also felt like they were a trustworthy company, so I went with them. Everybody was really nice and helpful. I’ve never felt like I was being taken advantage of because I was new to that sort of business. I felt like everybody was very polite and professional, too. They always wanted to make sure that I was happy and any time I talked to anybody, they would ask if I had questions or if they would help me.

We moved the car from Arizona to Ohio. I priced out a couple of different transport companies and I spoke to a few on the phone. AmeriFreight had good prices and they were keeping in contact with me while some people didn’t want me calling them until three days before. It was a month before that we started looking and they had us booked out. They had a trucker booked two weeks before. So, we decided to pick them knowing that my vehicle was gonna get booked and that they have more reliability. They told me how the bidding process was. They gave me what the numbers were and then it becomes a bidding process. But the rep said, “With the way the prices were looking, this is what we’re estimated to pay.” They obviously started lower and then tried to work their way up. But what he had said was what’s going right now for the two vehicles. It was exactly what we paid and we got 250 off of that.

I used AmeriFreight back in 2009 so I went with them when I was moving my daughter cross-country. I used the free quote option and it was lower than the reality but I figured that is how it works. I spoke with their rep by e-mail and he was responsive and easy to work with. We were pretty flexible and they worked with our schedule for pick up and delivery. Also, the driver was courteous and efficient. But we were not able to get hold of the transporter himself during the process until the day before when we heard from them that it would be delivered. It would have been nice to connect with him during the process but it turned out to be fine. The process took about 10 days which was the likely timeframe they told me upfront and what I expected. I would recommend using AmeriFreight. I've used them twice now without incident.

My daughter had driven her vehicle out to Seattle and she realized she didn't need it. So, she decided to ship it home. AmeriFreight's quote was in the middle of the pack. We went with them and their transporter let us know a day ahead of time when they were coming in. They gave us a time window which they met. I'd recommend this company to a friend.

I bought a vehicle online and was shipping it from Florida up to North Carolina. I had given a deposit to another company that was a little less money, but they were 9 to 15 days out and when I called AmeriFreight for a quote they had told me 7 to 10 days so I decided to go with them. They called me in three days and said, “We’ve got somebody that could pick the car up tomorrow.” So I went ahead and had them ship it and I paid exactly what they quoted me. The price may have been a little bit too high but not enough for me to not go with it. If you want to expedite service, you pay a little extra, which was fine

I moved across country and needed my car. I looked at a few companies and AmeriFreight was one of the first quotes I got. It was the best quote but I wasn’t too sure about their process but then I found out that was the standard. Everybody else was higher and then they wouldn’t stop calling me. AmeriFreight was the only company that didn’t keep chasing me down, so I called them back and they were nice. They would find a carrier and then other people in the area would cancel, so they were no longer coming or taking that route. I got cancelled on twice and it took a month, but once we found someone to take the route, the transport only took five days. My dad, also a truck driver, was the one who was there when my truck got picked up. Dad walked inside to get the driver a Gatorade and by the time he came back out, the driver already had my car loaded up on the trailer.

When I was giving my vehicle to another family member, I went on one of those websites and AmeriFreight was the most convenient one. I put in my information and they came with the price and the timeline that fit me. I was here when they picked it up and everything went smoothly. The guys did a good job and everything went exactly as it was supposed to.

I was shipping a vehicle from Massachusetts to California. I researched various places and picked the ones with the best ratings. AmeriFreight had a good rating in AARP so I went with them. I dealt with their reps via email and by phone and they were somewhat timely. Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of my particular agent but someone else would always help me and I got the information when I needed it. Then they quoted me $1,000 and the final cost was about $1,700. The vehicle arrived before they said it would and it was in perfect shape.

The original quote that I got from AmeriFreight was fine. But four days later, it was 40% higher, so I wasn’t happy with that. I felt that they underbid to get the bid and then they upped the price right after that. So I wouldn’t go with AmeriFreight again because of that. But the shipment was fast and it only took two days.

My daughter just graduated college and she was moving to California for a job. We had to get her car from Indiana to California for her so I called around at a couple places and went with AmeriFreight. The gentleman that I worked with was honest, nice and he followed up. He really explained the whole process to me very well instead of just trying to give me a quote and get my business. Sometimes you call places and you'd think you’ll never get the right person or the same person again, but he stuck with us the entire time and even called after the day that my daughter’s car was supposed to be delivered and checked on everything. It was terrific. Once we signed everything with him, what he quoted with us was the exact amount we paid.

I used AmeriFreight before a few months ago and everything went so well I decided to go back with them. The vehicle was shipped 1,000 miles and the quote I was given was fair. Moreover, their reps were straight to the point. The transport took about 3 days and I had a very good experience with their service. Everything was done professionally and in timely manner. I appreciate it.

We were moving from Germantown, Tennessee to Farmington, New Mexico and we needed to ship my vehicle. We used the moving companies to get quotes and then North American said they book directly with AmeriFreight and I wasn’t entirely impressed by the $800 quote I was given. AmeriFreight said it could vary and that was the lowest estimate. It ended up being almost $1200, which was quite a bit more. I could’ve said no and waited for a different quote, but we were closing on our house and with the craziness of moving and the uncertainty of who could give them the vehicle, I felt pressure on my end and accepted the offer.

I needed to ship a vehicle out to my son who is attending college across the country. I decided on using AmeriFreight based on the reviews, what I’d seen online and the conversation I had with the agent I worked with. The quote wasn’t what I ended up paying but I understand that’s commonplace in that industry. The price might have also been a little bit high but it worked out okay. It was pretty much in line with what I expected. It was a good experience in general.

We are an engineering contractor firm so we use commercial equipment for construction. We also use different construction equipment like pulleys. We used AmeriFreight to bring in equipment. They were very friendly in the quoting, fair in price, and was helping me a lot on the process. We bought an equipment and had to move it fast. We called other companies but they very slow in the response. So I repeat with AmeriFreight. They have the structure to support me very quickly.

I was moving one of our kids to college and we hired AmeriFreight based on the online reviews initially, and then the level of responsiveness that I got once I reached out to them. The initial quote was low and my issue was that it ultimately became $400 or so above the initial estimate. But the transport organizer was excellent. She was very responsive by phone and by email. She was very upfront, very helpful and explained the entire process. The driver for the pickup and delivery was also great. He was very friendly, professional and courteous, The vehicle also arrived just like when it left, no issues. So the xperience is better than expected.

We bought a new vehicle out of Texas and have it shipped to Arizona through AmeriFreight. The original quote they gave us was great but it was a few dollars off the actual amount that we paid. We dealt with Jarrell and he exceeded my expectations. Anytime I had a question, he went ahead and took care of it and got me an answer right away. So, I was really impressed.

AmeriFreight gave use the best quote. It was a lot of money but it seemed lower compared to everybody else. My wife handled most of the communication with AmeriFreight but it was pretty clear-cut. The driver interacted with me when he picked up the car and he was very nice. The car was delivered in two days and it was faster than we thought it would take.

We were doing a military move and we liked AmeriFreight's price, so we went with them. The delivery driver did a great job. He made it there even before we thought we would get the vehicle. So, that was pretty good because we needed the car. And it was exactly how we gave it to him.

My daughter was going out, cross country, to the West Coast for college. I did some research for shipping a vehicle and I saw some bad reviews and stories about cars ending up in different cities, overcharging and not releasing the car. Then I looked at AmeriFreight and saw that they were given great reviews in the Better Business Bureau and others. I contacted them and I worked with Samantha. She was fantastic and very informative. She gave me some of the pros and cons of shipping a car. I would’ve liked it cheaper and I did receive cheaper quotes from other carriers. But to ensure that the car would get there safely and without damage, it was worth it. I paid a little extra because I had a comfort level with AmeriFreight.
