My car didn't come with a warranty and was sold as is through Homewood, Chevrolet. I decided to get a warranty from Endurance Auto and put the down payment on it and I'm on Social Security disability, my granddaughter will be paying $14 a month for it. So far, my experience has been good. But I didn't like that I have to wait two months and anything can happen to the car. Also, if something happens to the car, I still have to pay the $100 deductible. And then, there was another company that I had thought about going with 'cause I only had to wait one month. But other than that, the person I talked to at Endurance seemed really nice and was very professional.

My vehicle was not brand new so I knew I have to take an extra precaution. Purchasing the Endurance warranty was pretty easy, though it would be okay for making payments if it was $10 cheaper. The specialist answered my questions and I didn't have to call him. It was a good experience overall.

The reps were very informative. However, I felt that I was pressured into making a decision right away, and I didn't really like that. I did not much care for the fact that the deal that they gave me was only available during that phone call, so it gave me no time to make a decision outside of it. The only reason I did go with Endurance was because I had a 30-day period that I could cancel for any reason. Paying for it was as easy as giving a credit number, but I had to cancel the insurance policy because I went ahead and took one with the BMW dealership that I purchased the car through.

I just bought a car with 60,000 miles. Then, I saw that it’s over 100,000 so, I decided to get an extended warranty before it starts giving me trouble. Endurance had a rental car and everything with it. The vehicle protection specialist explained these things, like its coverage, the policy and how it helps me in cases like breaking down at the side of the road. He knew all the information about it. Also, making payments to purchase the warranty was very easy. He transferred me over and he got everything taken care of. I’ll recommend them.

I wanted some extra coverage on a newer vehicle that I purchased. I am familiar with the Endurance logo including some of the people that were associated with the company so I knew that it was a better business accredited situation. So far, I've had a very easy experience with them. I had very few questions and their protection specialist was very knowledgeable. Then when I got the warranty, their reps called to see how I was with it and how I thought about it. Everybody’s been very professional. Also, I do my payments online and it's wonderfully easy. If there’s ever a claim, I hope everything’s just as easy as it has been so far.

My vehicle didn't come with a warranty when I bought it from the dealership. It was a pre-owned one and it was past the warranty mark. Endurance was the best rated provider on the computer so I chose to get them. My wife set everything up and she said the specialist did a good job helping us. I like that for payments, they send us a bill and we just mail it out. It's a great service and I've recommended it to other people.

I got a letter sent in the mail saying that my car's warranty was about to expire so I looked into acquiring an auto warranty. Endurance Auto's rep was very informative, polite and answered any questions I asked. No question was a dumb question and if she didn't have an answer, she put me on a brief hold to research the answer. It was a great experience. Endurance also gave me a good rate that was a lot lower than what I had expected so I didn't have to do any negotiating at all.

He also worked with me in coming up with a plan that fit my budget and everything turned out good.

My vehicle’s not brand-new. I needed to make sure that I wouldn't be put down on the road if I'm traveling. I’d never known there were car warranty companies and I had thought that all warranties came from the actual dealership so, that’s who I was looking at and it was pretty expensive. I started talking to folks and one of my staff members mentioned to me that she got a warranty for her car and I was shocked that it wasn’t from her dealership.
So, I started Googling, researching, doing reviews on all the different companies and I found out that there are warranties outside of your dealership so I felt pretty confident. Then, I had another friend who has the same kind of car I have and says that he’s not having problems with his. He was telling me about car warranty companies, too. Endurance Auto Warranty has higher ratings, very good customer service and also, they handle their own claims. They have everything that I would want if I’m going to pay that kind of money out per month.
I called Endurance and the rep that I talked to was exceptional, customer-friendly, and very knowledgeable. I kept asking a lot of questions, he kept explaining and he was very thorough, so he went over and over. He also told me I could call back if I had questions. I called a friend from Fort Washington in Maryland. He said he had Endurance once before and he recommended them so, that's a confirmation for me that maybe it's the one I should go with. I spoke to my family and my son, and decided to go with them. I was very pleased to see that they gave a discount to senior citizens. That was really good. I have not used the service yet and hopefully, I don’t have to use it.

ConsumerAffairs listed the top ten auto warranty provider and Endurance was in there so I touched base with them. Their certified specialist was really good. He worked with me and quoted. We debated and finally came to a price that I thought was fair. He's not supposed to do that but he had a little leeway there. Purchasing the warranty was fine for me. I paid the lump sum so I'm not paying it out. It's pretty much a single transaction. The experience with Endurance was convenient, easy and felt like I got a good deal for what I needed. Also, it went well as I could expect. The beginning was great so I hope it ends as great.

When I purchased the car, I did not establish a warranty, but I wanted to be covered in case a lot of the electrical things, like the keyless entry and the radio, go out. So I looked at the reviews for auto warranties and Endurance Auto Warranty looked as though it was a real company and one I can trust. Initially, I was very skeptical and I had a lot of questions but I had already done my research and their specialist assured me that everything was okay. He was very knowledgeable, patient and it was a great experience. Making my payments was also very easy. I have them automatically drafted out of my account. Compared to other companies, Endurance has the better fixed price. In fact, I recommended them to my mom.

I got my Endurance Auto warranty and I needed my car fixed. I took it to the BMW service center and at first, they were saying, they wouldn’t cover what I had to change because one was 40 watts external. But my mechanic, the BMW service adviser was saying, it was internal and external and they said they wouldn’t cover internal but they had to buy the whole part. They said, they wouldn’t cover it because an external part is also damaged but it’s all together. So later on, I went back and forth with them for a long time and the mechanic too, for a while. My mechanic even got angry so later on they said, "Okay". They’re going let someone come check it and see if they’ll cover it. Even before then, they said the mechanic should just take out the turbo then someone should take photos of the thing, and they will cover it.
The mechanic took out the turbo, took photos of it and they said they’re going to let someone come and inspect it. Someone came to inspect it and they said they wouldn’t cover the turbo again. They kept switching because one minute, they said they’ll pay for it so the mechanic should take the turbo out. The cost of workmanship alone is $2000. That went against my side. Now that the turbo was out, I have to fork out money to pay for $4000 for the workmanship that they said they will cover, that I didn’t know they wouldn’t cover. They didn't listen to anything we said and they kept on saying something else.
I couldn’t do anything about it. They don't have an office or something for me to go and not agree to what they said. It’s over the phone. I decided to cancel it and get a refund but they wouldn’t give me any refund. They only said they’ll give me a refund for the last payment I made for that month which was only $200. The rest of my money was gone and they duped me big time. It sucks and I don’t even know if I should try getting another warranty.

I live in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and travel a lot so I needed to make sure that I had an extended warranty on my vehicle in case something happened. I looked and made sure that warranty was based in the United States and it's based out of Chicago, Illinois. Endurance called me the next morning because I looked at their website and they offered me a policy that was bumper to bumper excluding seatbelts or the airbags due to the recalls and problems with those. The experience was fine when I was buying the warranty but now that my engine blew, the claims department and roadside assistance is giving me a nightmare.
They said that I use a Firestone repair or an Armco repair so I took it to the first Firestone and it was a nightmare with roadside assistance to get it there. They got it there and those people there were wonderful. They did the diagnostic and said that the head was busted on the engine so Endurance said that the whole engine has to be broken down. Firestone couldn't do it but they didn't charge me a dime even they kept it there for the waiting period of 72 hours to get it towed again. It was towed to the second Firestone in Knoxville, Tennessee and they were wonderful as well. They agreed with what the first Firestone said and said they can do it for $2900. Then they called claims but claims said that they got to have the complete engine torn down to get to the root cause. That Firestone said that they don't have the time and staff to break it down but they could drop the engine and I'd be driving my car in 24 hours. But Endurance refused.
I had to have it towed back to the dealership I bought it from as they had full permission from day one to break the engine down like Endurance told them to. But as of yesterday, Endurance blamed the dealership. They sent an inspector out and the inspector didn't tell anything to the guy at the Service Department at the dealership who I'm dealing with except "Okay, you got the car". Then the dealership called me and said Endurance told them that they had to break the engine completely down and have another inspector come out so he asked why the first inspector that came out didn’t tell them they had to do it. I had Daniel from Endurance tell me yesterday that the dealership dropped the ball and they should have known that they had to break it down. But the dealership said that they have to get approval for it and Endurance won't.
They added it was a mileage discrepancy and some guy named Ian at Endurance got the receipts from them including the mileage information and it was straightened out two weeks ago. But Ian put it in the notes and not in the claims department so claims never got to see it so my car's still sitting there and I still can't get a rental car. The dealership also said if the inspector wants this completely broken down and all over the floor, and he sees that maybe this started occurring before I purchased the policy, a couple of months ago, then I'll be liable for all the cost. If that were the case, I'd rather be liable for the $2900 dropping a new engine in but now it's going to be $6000 or more. Then Endurance is going to burn me not only from buying the policy but they're going to say that this had started to occur before.
Everyone's blaming everyone. Endurance customer service is blaming claims, claims is blaming me and Endurance is blaming the dealership. I did everything they've told me to do but they keep me jumping hoops. With Claims assistance, David, I’m on hold for forty minutes then when I finally got someone and start explaining what's going on, all of sudden it becomes disconnected and it happened to me three times. Even the Firestone people have talked to Claims had nothing but a hard time with them and the same thing happens. The roadside assistance, on the other hand, tried to tell me each time my vehicle was towed that I was liable for the towing but I said that it's included in my extended policy and they want to argue with me so I call Endurance and they do a three-way calls with roadside assistance and Claims. And that's only when I can get any help.
Endurance was good but now they're putting everything back on everybody else. I've had no vehicle for almost three weeks and I've had to have it towed to three different places. They are blaming the third place for not breaking the engine down but they didn't give them the permission to do it. Everybody's dropping the ball on the whole situation. It is exhaustion and incompetence all around so I expect them also to completely burn me.

My car is expensive to fix, so I got an extended warranty from Endurance to be of help if something major breaks. Willie was the specialist I transacted with and he was pretty nice. Before this one, I also had an extended warranty and I really liked that I didn't have a problem with them approving most of the work that was done when I took my car to a BMW place. So now I'm curious as to how it will work with Endurance because a lot of warranties will say they'll cover something, and then when the times come when you have to use them, you find out they don't cover it.

We had an auto warranty and it hasn't expired yet, but the company that I was with was no longer in business. So I started looking on the internet and Consumer Reports. Endurance Auto Warranty came up as one of the top three and I chose them because of the star rating and the reports from people that have used it. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. He gave us a senior discount which I asked for so it was a nice experience. He also explained that we had the 30 day waiting period but that there was nothing wrong. We have low mileage on our vehicle after all. Then we've got the automatic payment set up. It's just a great warranty. I was real impressed that it covers the mileage and almost bumper to bumper of the normal wear and tear.

When I purchased the warranty, their rep explained everything to me and made it comfortable to go through the process.
I’m in the process of filing a claim now and it's simple. Once we took it to the dealership, they handled everything for us to the repair facility. But they’re asking for quite a bit of due diligence and I didn't imagine that the process was going to be that extensive. They mentioned the options that they offered and I chose the one that I preferred and they worked with that payment plan. I had the automatic withdrawals for the warranty and it was easy to set up. Overall, they were very polite, courteous and they addressed all the concerns that I had and the type of insurance that I wanted for the vehicle. The one that I had in the past was the manufacturer's warranty but this is the first extended warranty that I’ve had. I’d recommend it to a friend.

I bought a used truck and I have the warranty at work. I moved and I'm going back and forth with the car out to Montana. I don't want to get stuck on the side of the road with a blown engine. So, for precautionary measures, I wanted an auto warranty. When I talked to William from Endurance, he was super kind and knowledgeable. He didn't know everything right off the bat, but he's able to find the information in talking to him. I talked to these other places and it was the opposite, they were trying to shove their policy down my throat. Will is super laid-back and did general good customer service. Everybody in Endurance wasn't pushy and it wasn't a typical sales pitch. They are really helpful and respectful in what I was looking for. I talked to three or four people and they were all great to work with. It’s also been easy purchasing the extended auto warranty. The online payments are a cake-walk. Overall, it was an awesome and great experience.

I've always had insurance and when I bought a used car, it still had warranty left on it. Endurance Auto Warranty had good reviews on the internet and I also have them on my wife's car, so I got a warranty with them. Everything went smoothly with the purchase. Then I gave them my credit card number and as long as your credit card is good, making payments is easy and fast. The only problem I had was for the first time I had a claim. It was within the grace period which they had explained but I had forgotten how long it was. So, I couldn't claim it but that's all right. If something will tear up it will be worth more money and I've had these extended warranties for some time. I didn't even have any involvement with the claim 'cause the Chevrolet dealer did it. When I went in there, I just handed them the book and advised them to call Endurance for some problem that's out of normal service.
I also had another claim on a previous Suburban where we had a little misunderstanding. The wheel bearing went out on the front end and they automatically declined it. I called them back and asked why. They said that it's drivetrain only but I told them it's part of the drivetrain. He said, "Well, it's the front wheel." I said, "It's a four-wheel drive and it only has four wheels and two of them are in the front." They didn't look to see if it had four-wheel drive or not but they were able to fix that. All in all, I've found being with Endurance to be a great experience.

I've had extended warranties on my cars going back 15 years and when I first bought my car, they offered an auto warranty. That ended up being my wife's minivan and it had some problems so it was worth having the insurance and it was a very positive experience. There's just so many companies out there that have bad reputations and I've had bad experiences with other ones. However, Endurance came up with stellar results online. They were one of the more reputable dealers with a lot of good comments from customers on the website. Plus I've got a variety of different cars in our family from a couple of car dealerships and they all spoke highly of Endurance.
Their employees were great when I purchased the warranty. The rep I spoke with was very professional. At that point, I've had a lot of experience dealing with auto warranties and I had already done my research. It was more of going through the ability to cancel the policy or get a rental car if I needed to. I was gonna call if they could send me a PDF that goes over my entire policy because I keep all my insurance handy in the Cloud and I like the fact that they sent me a packet in a card. So that I don't have to look around for stuff and I don't have to wonder what's going on. It was just a little bit more expensive than other auto warranties I've used but it was really simple making the payments. I haven't had any insurance problems or claims yet but so far, everything has gone very smoothly.

I was looking into different warranties and I came across Endurance Auto Warranty and the appearance of their website caught my eye. I asked a friend of mine who's a service rider in a car business about it and he said, "Yeah, it's just as good as any other." So, I went with them. Their rep presented the information well and answered any questions that I had right away with no hesitation, which made me feel good. He worked with me on payments too. I told him what my budget was and he brought it down within the budget and said that was the best he could do, and then I signed up for it. It's an automatic withdrawal which I like.
However, when I got the book with the explanation of what warranty package I got, there were two or three different warranty programs in there and it took me a while to figure out which one I was falling under. There's nothing in the collateral and there's nothing to indicate what package I'm under on the card. It just says Endurance. It's very difficult because it's not clear. I'd be calling their reps about it and tell them that I needed some collateral to show what we've got for my wife. Nonetheless, I'm very satisfied with Endurance Auto Warranty.

I always take it to the Cadillac dealership. Endurance also gave me a payment plan that was easy. My brother recently had work done on his vehicle and he had the extended warranty. He had been making regular and affordable payments and ended up having to utilize that service. I saw that there was a benefit and there was nothing that came out of pocket. All my brother had to do was provide receipts of maintenance he had done to the vehicle. It was like you are being rewarded for keeping records and doing maintenance rather than trying to catch on an insurance claim.
Endurance Auto Warranty was the only company that I would qualify for. There were a lot of different departments that they were transferring me to, but everything was very professional and I didn't feel pressed to do anything. They listened to my concerns. It was the same as being in a store and talking to somebody about a product. They clearly explained all the benefits and how to file a claim. Also, their customer service team was very interpersonal. They weren't robots and had product knowledge.
Making the first payment for my warranty was easy and affordable for our budget. However, we had to cancel because my van was having an issue. The day after I did my first payment, I was told by different mechanics that I'm going to have to get the engine replaced. I didn't want my cost to go up nor did I want to catch in on something that I conveniently had. And so, I'll get the engine replaced and start fresh with them. My experience with Endurance was above expectations and I would definitely recommend them.

I enjoyed buying slightly gently used vehicles, especially leased ones, because they have to be well-maintained and they generally were. Usually, all the vehicles that I bought have a certain portion of their warranty remaining. But, as a protection, I always like to have an extended warranty for a little bit longer than just the remaining balance left on the manufacturer warranty if I can in case there's something that goes on.
I signed up with Endurance Auto Warranty. Their certified vehicle protection specialist was straightforward. He gave me all the information I needed and was able to get back with a quote very quickly. I had been checking around with other extended warranties and Endurance Auto Warranty was very competitive even against my credit union, which offered an extended warranty. I went online and researched Endurance and they had a very good reputation also. I talked to the dealership where I bought the car and they had the same opinion of Endurance. So as far as the actual person I dealt with, it was very good.
However, I had an issue after the policy was issued to me. I kept getting an email stating that they needed to know the actual mileage on the vehicle at that time so I gave them the mileage over the phone twice. It was a recorded message and when it came on the recording, it was the gentleman who had sent the letter. It was the same name so I gave my name and I said, “You sent me the email.” Then the third time I got the email, I just replied by sending the email back with the mileage and I haven't heard anything from them since about three weeks ago. So, I'm assuming that what he wanted was to send it on an email. But overall, it was a very easy and seamless procedure to get the coverage that I wanted. I was very satisfied.

However, I ended up cancelling the contract within the first 30 days. Leading up to that, it was fine. But after, I did more research and found that the contract wasn't a wear-and-tear contract. Endurance is only going to cover what mechanics say is a defect and not something that is worn out and causing the failure. That's a big gap in what they're trying to sell and the service that they're trying to offer. The contract also favored Endurance way too much. Hello Eugene,
We are very sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your Endurance protection plan. I spoke with the director of our Customer Service Department as well as a representative from our claims department to obtain more information regarding your claim.
Per the inspector that was sent out to determine your claim, it appeared that the radiator issue was a long-term seepage issue that resulted in dry coolant around the top of the tank seam. Due to the fact that the contract had been active for 2 days and the dried coolant from the leak that was found during inspection, the failure was determined to be a long-term failure that is pre-existing to the activation of the contract. Unfortunately due to this reason, the claim was denied.
In your contract, a pre-existing condition is defined as a condition that within all reasonable mechanical probability relates to the mechanical condition of your Vehicle prior to Contract issuance.
Unfortunately, due to this reason, we were unable to approve your claim. As a result we accepted your request to cancel and refunded your paid amount in full, waiving any cancellation fees that you may have incurred due to the circumstances, to give you assistance with your repair.
If you have any questions about this or would like any further information regarding your claim, please feel free to give us a call at 1-866-432-4443 and will gladly assist.-Endurance Customer Care Team

I decided to have an auto warranty on my car rather than try to sell or trade it in. So I went ahead and got them because I haven't had any major incidents with my car and it seems to be running well. I am sure that down the road, things are bound to happen yet. I don't want to pour a bunch of money into the car and I don't want it to get totaled over something relatively minor. I figured it would keep it on the road a little longer and Endurance provided me a bit of anxiety relief.

I got an older car and I needed some protection. However, the previous warranty company that I was with required a minimum of four hours labor before they would pay for a rental car. Then I had put my car in the shop and the dealership put labor down as 3.9 hours, which is about six minutes difference and my previous company wouldn’t honor that rental car payment. My car wasn't running but they were so backed up at the shop that they couldn't get to it until after a few days. Yet, the company wouldn't pay until work actually began on the vehicle, but in the meantime, I was without transportation. With Endurance, they explained to me that once I leave my car, whether the shop can get to it or not, they’ll pay for the rental as long as my car is in the shop. They don't go by the hours of labor.
Purchasing the warranty was easy. However, one issue is at the time I called and set up everything, I gave them a ballpark mileage because my wife had the car at work. Then three weeks later, I called to give them the exact mileage which was maybe a thousand-miles difference. And according to their rules, they can't begin coverage until 1000 miles or sixty days. I thought that it started right when I first called them and when I called them back to give them the extra mileage, they said that it started from there. Other than that, it's good as of now and I would recommend them.

Certain things weren't covered like brakes, tires, oil changes and wear and tear. But it does cover factory install stuff like the sunroof, the windows and the radio, and whatever goes wrong with the transmission because it is a 2012 vehicle. It only has 24,000 miles on it but I don't want to take my chances. If the car breaks, I can't afford to get hit with a $2,000 repair bill. So that's why I bought the warranty. They also informed me about the things that were covered if my car broke down and I would get help. The last warranty I had was not good.

I asked if there were any available discounts and she got me a few so it made the price very good for me. My warranty was out on my Nissan so I wanted to get another warranty. I was thinking if I needed an extended warranty, then I came across Endurance. I had talked to a person about it and they let me know all about what was included and what I needed to do. I was a little skeptical of them calling me and telling me all this. But then I felt like I could afford the warranty although I wish the payment was a little lower because it's $97 a month. So I would tell a friend to shop around a bit before they go with Endurance just to compare prices. My husband and I knew some people in the automotive business and Endurance offered the better of the deals, longer warranty and mileage or years. We found it online but the website doesn't give you a whole lot of information and you really have to get into a person. Although, they were very fast. Once we put that information we want to talk to somebody, they called us on the phone. However they only gave us while we were on the phone to accept the deal. That's really disconcerting. Plus, my husband was here, talking to somebody else about Endurance and they have another offer and this one had never heard of it. So somebody didn't get all the facts. I don't know if they're independent and just trying to sell or there are different packages and they were offering a different one.
Anyway, they explained everything we needed to know and clarified some things so we were fine. Although it was a little upsetting that you had to have 1,000 miles on it before the plan went into effect which most of the time we don't do but thankfully just before, we went to San Antonio so that got clarified that way. And then the other thing was if something goes wrong within three months I can't have anything repaired that way. That was a little deserting. The car is three years old and relatively new, even though the air conditioners went out before I got the warranty.
Additionally, we have the Acadia GMC, year '14, and the agent told me there's 17 different "recalls" on our vehicle yet I've never seen one of them. That upset me. I don't like that kind of pressure point. I figured if it's serious enough since we have free oil change for life on it and since I go to the same place to get the oil changed, they would have told me something. In other words Endurance take information of that nature and "click" it into your warranty cost. The agent said they get them so they know the status of the vehicle. How come I'm an owner and I'm not getting them. Also, I didn't like the price at all. But what can I do when I know when an electronic component go out next week and that's the price of what we paid 'cause components are expensive.

The sign up was pleasant and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about what they do. Making a payment was easy, they send me a bill and I pay it. The car had to go into molder because it wasn't making noise when you start the car up. Then Endurance had to send the inspector out to look at it and then they wanted me to show proof of all our changes, checking to see if it was our fault. The people took the car apart and I had to pay to get my car get put back together. I pay them every month and then when I show proof of all our changes, they still don't want to. They made me look like a fool in front of my wife because they all called me. I felt as though I was took advantage of, like they conned me.
We keep our automobile up and we don’t do anything to break it because its the only automobile we have. This is why we paid the warranty, just in case something breaks. If something break on my automobile and I put it in the shop and they give me a hard time about getting it fixed, wouldn't that make me feel bad? I felt as though they're not honoring what they said. But they worked it out with me. They came back to me and reimbursed me in terms of me not having to pay two or three months to make up the money that I have spent. And we were able to get by that and got through it. So hopefully in the future, we can continue to do business because I'm trying to stay with Endurance, and I hope Endurance is happy with me.

I own a 2008 BMW X5 with 75,000 miles which needs a new transfer case. I took the vehicle to BMW service department where they called Endurance to report the problem and file a claim. Endurance asked them to open the transfer case in order to find out what was exactly wrong with the box. It cost between $800 and $1000 just to open the case and Endurance refuses to cover the cost to open the box. Yet, they want the BMW service part to open the box and tell them if the problem is due to "wear and tear" or a mechanical malfunction. In the event the 4x4 malfunction is due to "wear and tear" then Endurance will not cover the cost to open the box and I will be stuck with not only a $1000 bill but also a defective transfer case which cost $4000 to fix!
Joe the Endurance agent asked me to find another shop because as he said, "BMW dealerships tends to be expensive." According to him, may be a smaller shop will agree to open the transfer case for free. I then took my car to a shop which specializes in BMW and Mercedes. There, the mechanic came to the same conclusion as the BMW dealership: the Transfer case is defective and needs to be replaced. Again, Joe asked that the mechanic opens the box and tells him whether the problem is due to "wear and tear" or not. The mechanic asked to be paid $1000 upfront before he opens the box because as he said he "doesn't want the customer to be stuck with that bill" in the event the problem is due to "wear and tear". Joe refused to cover the cost and decided on the spot to close my account with Endurance and refund me my deposit and 3 monthly payments that I made prior to the transfer case issue.
What kind of insurance company does that? What kind of extended warranty company opts out of a contract unilaterally because they do not want to fix a car problem? Shouldn't Endurance cover the opening of the box, at least??? The least that needs to be done is to cover the opening of the box to find out what's going on? I am sure that it's a trick played by Endurance so they don't have to pay for the repair. It is a scam and it is a shame!! Now, I am stuck with a vehicle with a defective transfer case and no protection for my engine and my transmission.
I don't how this company gets the rating it has but there has to be something fishy with those good reviews. They may be expert in refunding people their money and getting out of contract they agreed to but in terms of coverage of vehicle, that company is scamming customers and somebody needs to take a close look at them. I am definitely filing a complete with the Consumer Affairs on this one and look at all my options to fight back.

My auto warranty expires in November, so I was shopping around because the warranty provider I was with was almost harassing me to sign up with them again. The reps of Endurance were very helpful, but obviously they were trying to get me to sign up immediately, by using sales tactics of, "We'll give you a $200 discount if you sign up right now. But if you call back, you won't be getting that discount." So, that put a little bit of pressure on me. Most people will just give in to that, but I didn't. I was still in the process of shopping around at that time. The rep explained the warranty's terms and conditions, then he said, "Okay. I won't flag it as you've called. But I will call you back in the next four hours," which he did. I did a little additional research, ended up on the ConsumerAffairs website, saw a lot of reviews, checked a few other websites, and then I signed up with Endurance based on that.
Endurance tacked on an additional year because I'd still be with my current extended warranty provider through November. It's over a period of two years, so it's very easy to make the payments for purchasing my auto warranty through Endurance. I just put in my details and they took the deposit. My first payment hasn't gone off yet, but it should in the next couple of weeks. Compared to my current warranty, the extended warranty of Endurance is a little bit more expensive. When we were at the dealership, we felt that there were unreasonable costs involved from purchasing auto warranty through the dealer. So, we ended up doing a surf on the web for possible options for extended warranty plans. We came across Endurance Auto Warranty and decided to purchase the policy on our own. Around 60% of the process of opening a claim was explained when we bought the policy. There were a few things that we had to learn on our own that were not completely explained but we were walked through the process when we had our first claim. We called Endurance first when we were going to use the policy. We asked what the protocols were and they informed us that we needed to call them or have the dealership call them first and then they would start processing a claim for us.
I didn’t understand at first and it wasn't discussed upfront that there was a third party adjuster that would need to be called in upon the repair exceeding $1,000. We turned our vehicle in and, unfortunately, it was the Thursday before the Easter weekend. We didn’t realize that we would have to wait for that adjuster so, we had no vehicle for around four days. It wasn’t intended to be that way because I do realize that they allow you to rent a vehicle, but it's only after the claim is approved. Other than the third party not being explained, we’re 60% happy with how the process went.

But the second person I dealt with said something different from her, and I was lost. But the third rep I talked to explained it to me better and made a lot more sense. They were really nice and helpful. Even if I didn’t understand, they were still respectful in trying to break it down to me. The plan I got is with monthly payments for two years, and the coverage lasts four years. And the monthly payment helped instead of paying $2,000 to $3,000 upfront. I have recommended them.

My driver's side mirror quit working, it wouldn't retract. Every time I get in my garage, I have to retract that mirror to get in. I have a 250 Ford crew cab pickup truck. So, I took it in to the dealership. They saw that it was broken. They got a hold of insurance and get in the claim. It took insurance two days to approve it. The dealership gave them the estimate, and they sent an adjuster out to look at it and the adjuster acknowledged the mirror wasn't operable. The insurance wanted to give me an aftermarket mirror. I agree that $1,200 for a pickup truck side mirror was appalling, I could almost get a transmission fixed for that but a Ford dealership cannot install aftermarket products. So, they bickered over that for a little bit. After it's all over and done with, insurance took care of the claim, I paid my $100 deductible and I'm happy now that my mirror works. But my annoyance was that the part was in stock and it still took them three days to do that.

So I paid $1000.00 for the tear down. Everyone agrees it's the transmission, but now they won't cover it because the internal parts are worn; however on page 4 of their contract it states all internal transmission parts are covered. But while I was considering going with AAA, I decided to go online. I was really looking to see if Volkswagen had extended warranties and then I saw Endurance and I looked at their reviews and I decided to try them.
I put some information in online that it asked, what kind of car it was and the mileage. I didn't expect to get a call right back but I got a call in less than 10 minutes. I had a lot of questions and they answered all of them. And when he gave me the price, it was a big savings from the quote that I had gotten from AAA. The down payment and the monthly payment with Endurance were each $40 or $50 cheaper than AAA. Thats how I decided to go with Endurance because of the down.
And then I wanted to have a draft each month the way I do my bills, directly out of my account. I didn't want them to use my credit card that I had used for my down payment. And so they took the time and explained to me why they couldn't do that over the phone at that time. He gave me a number to call back and set it up to a draft from my checking account. I was contacted by Endurance and sold a contract for my 2000 6 BMW 325i asking lots of questions and being explain the process. After ending the call felt very comfortable and my vehicle was covered from any foreseeable incident in the future. Started coverage November 2016. Begin having problems with my car February 2017. Transmission issues put my vehicle in the shop. Follow the procedure for coverage. Mechanic submitted a claim. Endurance demanded transmission be broken down and the cost was my responsibility if they determine cause of transmission problems was not covered.
This is exactly what happened. Transmission was broken down, I am responsible for the bill and now they are refusing my claim. Search ripoffs. I would not advise anyone to use their services. It sounds good when they are trying to get your money on the phone and each month before you have an issue but once you do watch out, they do not want to pay-out claims. I give them zero out of 5 Stars.

In the contract, if something happens the first 1,000 miles, it's negated. Well, I didn't want to lose my $960 deposit. But they explained that we can refund our initial money or transfer it to any other vehicle in the household and I've got another used car that doesn't currently have a warranty 'cause mine ended.
