    I was sold on a contract in December of last year because of the expensive repairs at BMW. I was very concerned with the engine because it is a V8. I was told that the turbos as well as anything relating to the drivetrain would be covered. Well, I got a drivetrain error. BMW called over to Endurance. "That's not covered"! Get use to hearing this if you buy one of their policies. I was told solenoids were covered but not the solenoid that went in my car. $700 dollars down the drain. I am amazed at how many people on this site are giving great reviews without having used the policy. Customer service is great but the purpose of buying a warranty is so that I don't have to come up with $700 at once. Take Heed! Learn from my mistake!

    This issue was with Interstate National Dealer Services of Florida, Inc., not Endurance. Endurance is the seller of the warranty policy but it's administered by INDS of Florida. This is made confusing by the warranty card one is given that has Endurance's name on it. Endurance called me regarding this review and understood my position and unhappiness with the policy administrator, while explaining they do not control the claims. INDSF in fact has full control. John from Endurance was cordial and pleasant to deal with.

    I called Endurance Auto Warranty today to speak to Maleka **, and was told she no longer worked for the company. Micheal ** was the representative that helped me. He was very pleasant and professional. I told him I had to pay out of my pocket for car maintenance and would like to not have to put out extra money for the billing for this month.     Took my car to the dealer for regular maintenance, they found an oil leak. Told them I had Endurance, dealer called them, said Endurance would send someone out to inspect the vehicle.     This is the worst customer service I had ever had. The only sales pitch that the sales representative had was to talk bad about their competitor. I can imagine if this is only when you trying to get a quote what will happen when they get your money and you have to take your vehicle for service. I can only imagine they will look for any loophole for not to pay for your repair. I personally think if you treat your customers with respect and give them a quote they are asking for and service they are asking for it will be more convincing and if the company does not offer the service that the customer ask please don't insult them and try to convince them on buying something they don't want or need just to do a sale and talking bad by other companies and please provide the by-law that all the company follow so you can be more convincing.

    I personally talk to CARCHEX, send them a copy of what Endurance offer and never talk negative about your company. This the way you do sales. They gave me the quote I wanted and a better price. This is the way you do business. To all RUN AWAY FROM ENDURANCE. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. THEY DON'T CARE IF THEY SELL YOU GARBAGE. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    I shopped for car warranties for my Audi A5 after my extended coverage expired. After speaking to a couple of different automobile extended warranty companies and doing searches online to try and find the good and the bad about these extended warranty companies that I had spoke to I decided to take a chance on Endurance. The initial person that I spoke to at Endurance could not have been kinder. She was the perfect picture of what a company should want in a salesman. She was a smooth talker! I purchased the Select Premier Coverage. There was an initial waiting period of 60 days and 1,000 miles that had to pass. Routine maintenance had to be done during that time which was a understandable.

    The contract called for me to get the cars oil changed after the date of coverage was taken out and within the first 30 days by a licensed repair facility. I did that. Every single thing that I was suppose to do happened. The car failed this past week and left me stranded on the side of the road. I had my AAA tow my car to Audi of Hilton Head, the company that has always done my normal service work. I gave the service technician my warranty information along with the numbers he needed to call and explained to him that I had purchased an extended warranty.

    This morning I got a call from that service technician and the Timing Chain had slipped due to a pulley which is SUPPOSE to be covered under my warranty. The technician told me that he had spoke to someone in claims at Endurance Warranty and that they were not covering the part because it's considered "normal wear". I called the claims department and got a rude claims adjuster on the phone who I could tell is extremely well versed in how he is suppose to handle every call that he gets and he told me that I was not covered and told me to read my coverage booklet which I had already done. He told me that he would gladly refund me for the warranty and cancel it. That's too easy of a way out for Endurance in my opinion.

    I'm fairly educated, I'm a real estate broker in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina along with having a Finance Degree and I own a real estate company. I'm amazed that companies like Endurance try and pride themselves on their reputation when in fact their reputation is not worth the paper it's written on... literally! Read the reviews. The negative reviews about this company are here for a reason! I would bet the positive reviews are only done by associates with Endurance and there's technically not that many!

    I am the first owner of my 2009 Pathfinder, and because my auto warranty expired I decided to get a extended warranty. I depend on my car, because I commute to work, and I am a single mother of three kids, so I needed to be covered in case I had an issue with my car. I bought my extended warranty November, 2016, but on January 2017 I needed repairs on my car, because on one snowy day here in New York I changed my shift to 4x4, and didn't go back to 2x2. I had to use 4x4 to get out of a icy, snowy parking spot I was in. Due to the fact that my shifts didn't change I took the car to my dealership service center, so it can be fixed.

    I told them I had Endurance warranty, and they advised me they will contact them. The service adviser contacted me and advised me that Endurance wants to send an inspector to see the car, in which he did and he took pictures, then the inspector told the service advisor that he wants the gear shaft, and rear differential pull apart to see the damage (btw that's 850.00 each to pull apart), and needed my authorization to do so. The service adviser called me and told me "listen I have a funny feeling they do not want to pay, they are hesitating, because of the short time you have been with the company." I nevertheless told the service adviser "they are just doing their job, so yes if they want you to take those parts apart then do so, so I can get my car fixed." The service adviser advised me "if they decline the claim you are responsible for pulling the part apart, and the job to get it fixed."

    A few day later I get a call stating that my claim was denied, because Endurance is stating this issue was pre-existing, (WHAT!) a crazy excuse just not to pay. I just used my 4x4 once this year, because of weather issues, and never was this a pre-existing issue, and I told Endurance I only been to one service dealership and they have all my services that have ever been done in their system, and not once was there a problem my shifts. By the way they asked me for the invoices of all the oil changes I have ever done too, which I gave to them with no problems, and not once I thought I would have an experience like this. I nevertheless still need my truck, so I have to pay for the repairs which are $8,000, especially since now I have to pay for pulling apart the parts that need repair.

    I had to take a loan from my 401K in order to pay for my repairs. I feel so used. I never thought this company was like this, but I guess they must pay a lot in order to be the top selection of the search engine on the internet, but now I know how they are able to do so. Endurance just takes your money, and uses people to think they are a creditable company. Imagine being a woman trying to fight a male industry.

    I even spoke to the director of Endurance Everett **, who at first advised will do an audit, and then changed his mind when I told him "are you just doing this because I am a woman?" He then said No, and changed his mind and said "I am sorry but your claim is denied." Hmmm, I thought I was going to get a second opinion. I feel I was taken advantage of for being a woman. Please have a man call this company. I might not get my money back, because they is a crooked company, but I will let the world know. If you see that I gave customer service a 2 stars is because they have to be nice in order to lure you in.

    After buying a used car from a reputable dealership in San Antonio, Texas (that does a 50 point checkup before selling) we researched the internet to find consumer reviews in order to find a warranty company that we hoped lived up to consumer expectations. Endurance showed to have an A+ rating, so we decided to sign up with them. Much to our dismay, they have fallen way short of what they promised/advertised when we called to sign up. The representative of Endurance used the phrase "bumper to bumper coverage" multiple times. So, I authorized a lump sum payment and agreed to make monthly payments for next 18 months.

    We received that actual contract one week later and the policy was actually called: "Superior USED." A few days ago our traction light came on accompanied by unwelcome sound and a slight burning smell. We called Endurance and they immediately jumped into action and said within the next hour we would have a tow truck here to take our SUV to a Ford dealership. A short time later we received a text asking if the tow company had showed (at this point we were pretty impressed by what seemed to be impeccable service).

    A few days later the dealership called and said there was a leak in the transmission gasket and they would immediately called Endurance for approval. After a few phone calls between the dealership and Endurance, a representative said they could not approve or deny until they had one of their certified technicians come to the dealership to inspect our car and that it would be done within 48 hours. Within 24 hours the technician from Endurance showed up and inspected our vehicle but DENIED the repairs as the leaking gasket was due to the fact that we have "oversized tires" on our SUV.

    The Ford guy called us to tell us this new piece of information and stated that according to Ford guidelines our tires were within scope of required sizes for this type of SUV. We told them we would do some research on this tidbit of info. We called 4 more dealerships and two tire distributors and was told by all representatives that our tires were within scope of this Ford SUV (16-17"). We called the representative at Endurance to follow up with what Ford repair had told us and this is what we were told, "Sir, your repairs have been denied because the transmission gasket leak is considered to be preexisting so we are denying your claim." My husband asked "how is it you can determine that it is 100% preexisting? Is it not possible that it started leaking yesterday?" Endurance reps states: "our technicians are certified to determine these facts and stated your issues are definitely 100% preexisting."

    My husband then asked the Endurance rep, "well how is it that the Ford Dealership is stating that Endurance is denying the claim because we supposedly have oversized tires on the SUV and you are stating because the leak is preexisting since we bought it as a used vehicle? Endurance rep states, "Oh the tires!! Please hold Sir!"

    A few moments later, the Endurance rep comes back with a totally insubordinate attitude and tells my husband, "Sir the fact that your car has oversized tires automatically negates your contract. I am therefore cancelling your contract immediately with no further charges against your bank account!" Mind you they are not even oversized tires, they are snow tires - we live in Colorado - where you need snow tires. Nowhere in the intake process when joining do they tell you any of this - just it's bumper to bumper coverage. We saw the BBB rating and automatically assumed that they were reputable but now in hindsight we are seeing all the large number of dissatisfied customers and a good number of them over the last couple of weeks.

    Another dissatisfied customer below stated it best, "This is a slippery-slope for potential consumers thinking about buying into Endurance's A+ rating. This company was well aware that my vehicle was NOT new. They issue contracts specifically to cover "USED" vehicles regularly. Not only is this company taking advantage of trusting customers, they are knowingly exploiting our trust! Like many other customers, our policy is called: "Superior-USED!"... and yet under their guidance every single one of our claims (all customers) will be considered as a pre-existing condition and of course Denied!! BUYER beware!!! I am willing to find an attorney and get a class action suit together to make this right!!

    My truck engine started tapping so I stopped driving it and had it towed to the shop. They found out that a lifter had collapsed and caused damage to the cam which all of that is covered by the warranty. They didn't pay for the repairs. Their reason was they said it was from continuous operation. There was no continuous operations because when it started tapping it was parked and was not driven… the people you get on the phone are very rude and will just hang up on you. I got to a supervisor but they still won't pay. Wish I never spent my money with these people. What a waste. I hope this helps so no one else waste their money.

    Interstate National mishandled my claim at every point. My car broke down on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They delayed approval after numerous phone calls then closed their office from Wednesday afternoon until the next Monday. The garage working on the repairs waited for a call back only to call them and find out they were closed. They would not allow transmission to be replaced, instead shipped a used one to the garage which took 4 days. It was in such poor shape it had to be worked on before it could be installed.

    When it was finally repaired the amount they agreed to pay the shop was below the rate most shops will accept. Then they only paid for 1 day of rental. Interstate had the rudest worst customer service and while Endurance was pleasant, they seemed powerless to assist with this problem. Buying this insurance was the worst decision I have ever made giving me a false sense of security. The number of phone calls, e-mails, stress was way beyond reasonable expectations. The garage I worked with was the only saving grace and they had never experienced any extended warranty nightmare like this. Do your research and beware.

    When I bought the extended warranty from Endurance, they advertised a long list of parts and problems that were covered, including a timing chain. My timing chain went bad - the dealer said it stretched - so it was no longer able to provide proper engine timing. Endurance said they would not cover it because it didn't completely break. Just stretching is normal wear and tear they said. This kind of normal wear and tear could be argued on almost all problems with a 105,000 mile vehicle. This kind of splitting hairs was never discussed when the warranty was being sold to me. I assumed the covered parts were actually covered if they failed, i.e. didn't work anymore. My mistake. This review is to warn new buyers what they should expect when determining if a part is covered when it goes bad.

    After purchasing a 2011 Tahoe with 60+ miles, I was lead to Endurance Warranty, as a reputable company that provided quality extended warranty plans. The grace period was 60 days or 1,000 miles for the policy to become active. Unfortunately, 62 days later, my transmission went out and we contacted Endurance to notify them of the issue. We were instructed by Endurance representatives to have the car towed. Mind you, when we called customer service for guidance, their exact instructions was for us to have the vehicle towed (never were we advised to use their RSA). We were later chastised for not reading our policy and forfeited any reimbursement of towing fees because we did not use the Endurance roadside assistance.

    We had it transported to the nearest Chevrolet dealership, and to much dismay, was notified two weeks later that Endurance would not be covering ANY costs, totaling over $4,000. Their justification was that the transmission failure was preexisting, and did not occur within 48 hours of the policy taking effect. Each time we called customer service, the representatives showed no empathy and were so eager to offer to cancel our contract. The issue leading to this review is the fact that they cited "preexisting conditions" as the reason for denying to cover the cost.

    Most people buy extended warranty plans for the simple fact that vehicles have typical wear and tear, and "preexisting conditions" that warrant the need for an extended warranty. Endurance Warranty has set a precedence for us to believe that in the event anything goes wrong with the vehicle, that they will not be obligated to cover the cost of repairs because the repair would be considered "preexisting." We are greatly disheartened by this experience, considering the fact that we were ill-advised by the sales representatives and bamboozled by the terms of the agreement as it relates to Endurance Warranty covering the cost of our repairs. By far the worst Customer Service I have received from any company in my life!

    I researched the internet to find consumer reviews in order to find a company that lived up to consumer expectations. Endurance had (and still has) an A+ rating so naturally, I went with them. To my dismay, they fell way short of what I believe was advertised. Case in point: I bought a USED vehicle with 60,000+ miles on it. When talking to the sales person at Endurance, I disclosed this fact and offered to have vehicle pre-inspected. They told me "that was unnecessary". Per the contract, all I would need to do before submitting a claim would be to meet a 30-day (and) 1000 mile waiting period. The representative of Endurance used the phrase "bumper to bumper coverage" multiple times. So, I authorized a lump sum payment and agreed to make monthly payments for next 24 months.

    I received the actual contract one week later and the policy was actually called: "Superior USED." In the contract there was a section that details circumstances that COULD lead to Endurance negating the policy. One reason stipulated the owner was obligated to have vehicle serviced/diagnosed immediately upon first indication of a problem. In my case, the engine light came on followed soon thereafter with vehicle shutting off while driving. I took it in to a dealership and two problems were indicated. First involved changing crankshaft part... DENIED BY ENDURANCE.

    The second was more complicated... I was told (by dealership) the only way to know what was happening with the TRANSMISSION, it had to be taken apart; what is known as a "tear-down". I called Endurance and basically they claimed the first claim was for "a wire" and wiring isn't covered under my contract. As for the transmission, I was told to "take car to a transmission specialist." I explained that I did not wish to pay a second deductible and pointed out where the contract stipulates "any certified mechanic" was acceptable. The representative then told me that it is standard practice for the owner to authorize labor cost, but (if) a problem is detected they just submit the claim to us. So, I authorized the tear-down labor.

    Later on same day, I find out that three pieces within the transmission needs replacement... but Endurance opted to send an inspector out to see the transmission first. Two days later... CLAIM DENIED! The reason given to dealership was I had not exceeded the 1000 miles since contract date. Of course, I had... so I called Endurance AGAIN. I asked for an explanation for denied claim and I was told: "You've not met the 1000 threshold. Our records show you've only logged 76 miles." Since I had only owned the car for three months, I had the title which showed the miles at the time of purchase, the contract (with Endurance) itself, which showed the mileage on date the contract started, and the current odometer reading, which is indisputable proof that I'd exceeded 1000 miles. Once that was cleared up, (the reason) for denying the claim changed to "pre-existing condition".

    This is a slippery-slope for potential consumers thinking about buying into Endurance's A+ rating. This company was well aware that my vehicle was NOT new. They issue contracts specifically to cover "USED" vehicles regularly. I offered to have my vehicle inspected prior to coverage... Endurance declined to do so. Then had the unmitigated gall to use the fact that my vehicle is used to disqualify me from receiving the coverage promised. To me Endurance is not only taking advantage of a loophole... THEY'RE WILLFULLY EXPLOITING the consumer's trust. My policy is called: "Superior-USED!"... and yet under their reasoning, EVERY CLAIM SUBMITTED to them in the future (could be) deemed as a pre-existing condition and... DENIED!

    Currently, I'm 0 for 2 in the claims department and $2996.00 lighter in my wallet. In fairness, even the dealership said Endurance is "one of the better" warranty companies available. A mind-boggling statement in and of itself! So, I leave you with this final statement: Buyer beware!!... and if you own a used car with a Vehicle Service Contract (w/ Endurance)... Be Afraid... BE VERY AFRAID!

    I have had an extended warranty with Endurance on 3 different vehicles over the last 5 years. Not once have I called in a claim that they would take care of. In order to process a claim, the dealer has to call them about every part, I mean every part. Each time I was told that the part in question was not covered, because it was normal wear and tear, even though by it wearing out, other parts wore out as well. Their process is very cumbersome and instead of trying to help you through the process, they will send you copies on the contract or direct you to their website in order to get an answer. I've lost hours upon hours worth of time trying to research if parts were covered or not and lost sleep over their elongated process.

    Trying to break a contract is just as cumbersome. You are lucky if you get 30% of what you have paid them, even though they would never cover anything whenever you or the dealer called. I was told that I was paying for peace of mind. I had no peace of mind. I spent my time worrying about how I was going to come up with the thousands of dollars that they would not cover. Don't waste your money.

    Here is the short back story. My 89 year old father has received numerous letters and calls about purchasing an extended warranty on the used car he purchased recently. He ended up giving his credit card number and purchasing a policy he definitely did not want. When the book came in the mail he was perplexed and I had to explain that he did in fact give them payment for the policy. HE DOES NOT WANT OR NEED THE POLICY.

I then called Desmond's direct line and left him a message about my morning. He called me back a few hours later and got me directly in to Jesus in customer service. Jesus confirmed with me that the policy was in fact cancelled and I would receive written confirmation within a few days from the finance company.

    I wanted to commend the excellent service of the three men I came in contact with. I was so angry on my first call but Desmond assured me it would be taken care of. Ron put up with my angst this morning without an ill word and Jesus wrapped things up with a smile. All of these employees deserve to be commended at the way my complaint was handled. Too often all we do is complain. I thought you needed to know about these gentlemen and the asset they are to your company.

    Explain warranty question - spoke to Nick. We have a VW Eos, which has a convertible hard top. I noticed that the exclusions section mentioned that convertibles are not covered.     I purchased the extra supreme contract. I should have went with the other company. I took my vehicle in for repair. It would run rough at first start up and notice coolant was low. Note: this the first time trying to get repairs covered. The car dealer said the head gasket was leaking and head was bad. They contacted Endurance to get authorization for the repair and Endurance said it was not covered, gasket and seals are not covered under the contract.

    "Supreme Coverage provides for payment or reimbursement of costs authorized by the Administrator to repair or replace any Breakdown of ALL of Your Vehicles part(s) or component(s), including seals and gaskets, except those listed under Section X., Exclusions - What Is Not Covered, less the Contract Holders Deductible amount, in accordance with all terms and conditions of this Contract"

    You figured for a contract that cost $3500.00 it would cover a major component such as a head gasket. It is just as important as oil related internal parts. Customer service said after telling me that the vehicle has over 100k and items like that would not be covered. Well why charge so much for the coverage when so many items are not covered. For the repair of the vehicle is going to cost me now $3500.00 kinda funny same as the cost of the warranty.

    I called before I took my car to the mechanic and asked "was I covered for my suspension and power steering" and I was told yes that all I have to do was take my car to a certified mechanic shop and give them my membership card. They didn't tell me that I had to wait for an appraiser to come and check out my car after the mechanic. My mechanic called the claims office and explain what my car needed for the repair and the claims office told them that they have to wait until they hear from the appraiser.

    The appraiser took 48 hours to get to the mechanic shop just to tell my mechanic that he didn't see any leaks to my power steering pump or hoses, and my mechanic told me that he showed the appraiser the leak and he still was telling my mechanic that that's from rusting and corrosion and I'm not covered. On the commercial they say "pay all your repairs so you don't have to worry about paying a large repair bill." The thing that rubbed me the wrong way was when I called back the guy from customer service was really sarcastic and I blew up and told him to cancel my account. The next day I received a call from customer relations and the guy that I talked to really made me feel that he was trying to do all he could to take care of my car getting repaired. He talked to my mechanic shop and they told him what I need to get my car repaired but Endurance was just going to stick to what the appraiser told them.

    My car had been at my mechanic shop for two weeks at this point so the customer relations guy suggest that I have my car towed to another shop. So I did then the other shop suggestions were the same as the first shop except for they added two more things, and I was told that I have to pay two thousand dollars out of my pocket. So I called Endurance Customer relations and they put some money to the bill. It helps but it would have been better if they would have paid for everything. I had to get a loan to pay for the repairs and I pay endurance $178 a month and I still need tires, shocks and tune up and hub bearing.

    Their intention is to take customers money and then give you such a hard time during your car emergency that you give up. They pay "REASONABLE" prices. No repair shop will accept and then ask you to foot the larger part of the bill. They take 15 days to provide road side assistance. Who is going to wait 15 days by the roadside? The sole purpose of the customer service team is to lie and play with words from the contract. The goal is to find a loophole to deny the claims. PLEASE CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED. DO NOT SUFFER WHAT I HAVE SUFFERED, after I shelled out 3700 to buy the garbage or air from Endurance.

    Updated on 12/10/2016: I bought one their so called Xtra Supreme coverage, sold to me for $3,770.00 and I was promised excellent customer service but when my vehicle broken down last August I found out the hard way. As I am writing this my car is still in the shop. They sell the plans to a third party who's called Interstate. The representative at Interstate have one goal, to fraud customers by wasting your time playing telephone game or looking for reasons not to pay for the covered parts. They will give you excuses like the supervisors have to meet in conference regarding your case and for this you wait for days, then they will say that your mechanic is charging a lot for the job but they can not give you any other mechanic who can do the work for less. The excuses are so many to list. I think customer service representatives are trained experts in these excuses.

    This is my second review about Endurance. After I wrote my first review a person from Endurance call Micheal ** called me and apologized and promised he will contact interstate to get the covered failed parts fixed, but after my mechanic informed them that the part that failed before lead to another covered part to fail, they have gone back to their old tactics, and now I can't get a call back from Endurance. I DON'T KNOW HOW BUSINESSES LIKE ENDURANCE STAY IN BUSINESS!!! I am warning you all. Do not give these thieves your money. I do not think they even deserve one STAR. I despise people who think they can treat people like this and get away with it. Mr. Cedric ** you sold me this Plan promising it is the best. Why do I have to a third party's Rep. You promised to put my car back on the road. DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!

    Don't Buy! You are better off saving your money! I bought the best warranty they had. The Xtra Supreme! Over $3,000 paid. I already had one claim denied, but then I took my car to get serviced, and I needed a new axle because the housing boot had cracked and was slinging grease everywhere. They went to file a claim and Endurance said the housing boot was a seal and not covered, but the axle is unless it's due to an uncovered part. I can't find anything saying a housing boot is a seal and not covered. Needless to say, almost all problems you have are going to attributed to an uncovered part in their Lingo! Waste of MONEY!

    Phone calls never returned from Daniel. I have a Toyota and when I purchased the warranty no one from Endurance informed me or my husband that "aftermarket parts" were being used in our vehicles. The dealership that serviced my vehicle said it was hard to get help on the phone. My husband was shocked because he had his Dodge Ram serviced under the warranty and he was NEVER informed aftermarket parts were being used in his vehicle. We are not happy with Endurance but it is what it is. All of the money we spent purchasing two contracts, we expected better service and non-aftermarket parts to be used on our vehicles.

    I bought premium aftermarket warranty from Endurance which covers the issues that my used vehicle is now in the shop for. Driver door handle and trunk auto close. They sent an inspector to the shop to do a full car inspection and are holding up my claim asking for an additional $500 because aftermarket rims are on the car. Endurance said nothing about the rims while signing me up nor did they inspect or take pictures of the car. I had a feeling that if I had an issue with my car and needed to make a claim that they would find a way to get out of honoring the warranty.

    My alternator went out in my Lexus and made sure to call Endurance before making any move because I didn't want to be denied. I called and got the OK that the alternator was in fact covered in my warranty package. Good, because I've already shelled out thousands for this warranty and have already been denied once. I have my car towed to the Lexus dealership service center (on my dime) and they diagnose it as the alternator needing to be replaced.

    I get a call from Lexus saying that Endurance is only going to pay for half of the service because they won't cover their labor rates and they only pay for refurbished part prices. NO dealership service department is going to install refurbished parts!!! What a waste of money this warranty is. They requested for us to bring it into the dealership for service, not just any shop and now they won't pay dealership service prices! It has been a nightmare working with Endurance and I would never recommend them to anyone. Save your money because they are not an honest company and don't take care of their customers!

    Last October my Volvo s60 was having issues - my check engine light was flashing on and off. I took it to my mechanic and he said he could not fix it so I got it towed to Secor Volvo in New London CT. After a couple days Secor said one issue was wrong with my car and I tried to file a claim with Endurance. I was informed that this was not covered and I was upset because I THOUGHT I had to pay 800 dollars for something that was not covered and my mindset was what's the purpose of having an extended warranty if it's not going to cover anything. I explained this to the customer service rep and I told him, "You know what I don't want this service anymore," and he said fine and explained to me that he would cancel my service. Less than an hour later I get a phone call from Endurance asking how can they help with the situation and literally talked me into staying with Endurance which I agreed.

    I later found out what the claim that I tried to file and got denied wasn't actually what was wrong with my car. So when Secor Volvo tried to file another claim I was told I did not have a policy anymore even though the customer service rep offered me two free months of coverage due to my situation. When it was all said and done Endurance did not cover my damages to my car which was a computer issue which is covered. I did not get the free two months. I lost my job and Endurance did not stand behind the rep who said he would offer me two free months.

    I was a month behind on my payments but the rep told me that I didn't have to worry about that. So in all it's June I still am saving up to get my car and I was lead on by a customer service rep and even if he was speaking out of turn he was representing the company and they should have stood by him but they didn't and left me in the cold and I damn near lost everything. I am also free to discuss this matter with whoever if they want.

    They are incredibly difficult to deal with. They will only pay to have used parts put on your car. You don't put used parts on a BMW! Just getting approved to have work done is such a pain. It's not even worth it. They insisted one of their adjusters come out to verify the issue. They won't trust what the mechanic says or bills for unless they come out to look at it which takes lots of time. The guy didn't show up when he was supposed to. And he insisted the part was disassembled before he even looked at it. So I couldn't drive the car. We can't even order parts until it gets approved which takes forever and now I have to wait for parts to get here and I still don't have a car to drive. For USED parts. What if they didn't approve it and now my car is torn apart to show the adjuster and then it wouldn't even be drivable because of them. I am canceling my warranty!

The company customer service representative took about 15 minutes to explain the program and why I would want the most comprehensive plan that the vehicle would qualify for even though I asked for a quote on the minimum plan. He finally offered a quote and when I explained that my husband's warranty was about 1/2 the cost, he became very belligerent, raised his voice, talked over me, did not allow me to talk and hung up on me.
