I wanted to make sure I have coverage for a lot of electronics and things on the car that I bought. I researched Endurance as best as I could online and I bought my warranty directly from them. And then, I paid for it in a lump sum so it was very easy. Their representative did a good job in explaining the benefits. I would recommend the company.

I have had to called and cancel a policy for a personal friend, I spoke to Kyle. I had actually been expecting a long runaround in getting this taken care of. I had been on the phone previously with several other companies and my mood was less than stellar. Kyle helped me a lot in getting this policy canceled. He was great and worked through it all with me. He was kind and patient in working with me. You have a jewel with him. Wish more customer service people were like him.

I want to keep my car up, and thinking I can get a better service with Endurance Auto, I bought a warranty from them. Making the payments was a little stiff but I managed to get through it. I've been with them for a month and I called their customer service team to make sure that my policy was fair and also, I wanted to confirm that everything was okay since I heard a rumor that they're thinking about going out of business.

I always like to have a warranty on my vehicles and when I sent feelers out to five different companies, Endurance Auto Warranty was the only one that returned my call. Their rep answered all the questions that I asked and he was very informative. He did a fine job and told me that it was a bumper to bumper warranty. I was going to pay cash for it but then I decided to let it go for a year then pay it off.
I had a problem logging in and also, I didn't get my warranty card until about a week and a half ago, but that was not Endurance's fault. It's the way my mail works. It takes me a long time to get my mail. I was on the internet and they told me how to get to read it, so I did. And then it said I have to print the temporary card out but I couldn't. So, I called them and asked how I could print it out and they said they'll send it to me. All in all, everything seems to be fine with me.

I have a 2009 Ford Flex and where I live, just taking it to the mechanic costs an arm and a leg. I bought the car used and when I got it, it had some issues, and I noticed how much it cost from what I had to go through to get it fixed by the dealership. The bushings on the right side and the rear went out, and I couldn't afford it out of pocket. I was thankful I got a warranty on it to cover the cost for me. And I looked into an extended warranty because of it.
I've come across extended warranty companies and there are some that wouldn't cover certain things. And then others had some little sham going on where you don't have to worry about paying for the parts and all that and the only thing you have to pay for is the deductible. One company told me that the deductible that they will cover was only up to 100 bucks. So if the labor is $310, they're covering the $100 and I'd be responsible for $210, which I was not fond of. Also, on the news, there are so many different scams going on now and it's ridiculous. And it made me very nervous so I went online and looked myself because I was bombarded by a lot of phone calls for extended warranties and it's so hard to determine who's scamming and who's not.
When I went online, Google had Endurance rated as number 1. The reviews I read on it were good, and a lot of people loved them. The only complaint I read, which was the same as mine, was the whole two months wait. When you first sign up with Endurance, they tell you off the bat that you can't use them for the first two months. I just signed up with them in August, so I can start using their services on the third month.
The gentleman I spoke with explained the reason why they had that policy. They were getting a lot of customers who had previous issues with their vehicles and weren't telling them. Endurance has no way to come out and inspect their cars. So within the first month of them signing up with Endurance, they would already have pre-existing major issues with their vehicles. And they're coming up with maybe $5,000 worth of work. When they told them when they first signed up they didn't any issues with the vehicle. So, that's how they weed out the scammers and it makes sense, but I still don't like that I have to pay and not have services for two months.
Also, the gentleman went through the whole program with me and at the end of the call, I didn't have any more questions. He made me feel welcome. And I like that everything is organized with them. I've dealt with some other extended warranty companies and their customer service sucked. I had issues with the customer service number that they give me. I couldn’t get the same people, and I didn't have that problem with Endurance. The only thing is it's a little expensive for me. I live on a fixed income and I didn't like that they couldn't do anything extra for me considering I'm on disability. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them to a friend, but I wouldn't recommend to somebody who's on a limited income.

Endurance Auto's customer service has been great. They can answer any of my questions, and they have a 24-hour line that I can contact if I have any issues with the car. And it's pretty cut and dry in checking that with them. I've been with endurance for a month now, and I got the payments on auto pay so it wasn't difficult at all. I just make sure that the money's in there on the time it'd be taken out.

I figured one pricey repair would more than make up for my premiums with Endurance, and I was proven right when my car blew a gasket. I could not believe the cost (thousands to replace it and repair damage). Totally covered, thanks to Endurance. There's no way I could have paid up front on my own.

I love, love, love my Maxima, but it's a 2009 and my warranty expired. Of course, right after that I blew a crucial part and had to get them all replaced, go figure. It wasn't crazy expensive, but I got to thinking, what's next? So I decided to look for extended warranty plans. A friend of mine uses Endurance and had a good experience, so I signed up for coverage. SOOOO glad I did, cause I started having electrical problems (apparently a known issue?) and had to get it fixed. Lucky I picked a policy with coverage for electrical components. I had an auto warranty for the last pre-owned vehicle I've purchased. And I ended up having to use it for a few small repairs, so I decided to get one from Endurance for peace of mind. I was originally looking at one of the ones the dealership went through. But I went online and Googled it and it had a lot of bad reviews. So I searched for reliable auto warranty companies for vehicles that were pre-owned with mid-ranged mileage on them. I went to a website and it had five recommended ones and Endurance was the top recommended. I read the reviews and they seemed to have a really good reputation.
Their rep was super helpful. I called one other company again, but it was always like 30 minutes on hold. Whereas, with Endurance they pretty much were on the phone immediately with me. And a lady even gave me her personal extension number, so I could work with her easier. I was able to call her. I was picking up the truck on a Sunday and I wanted to get it as soon as possible, and she made herself available on the Sunday for me. The lady confirmed everything I wanted, transferred to a payment department and they confirmed a little bit more information, and then I gave my credit card information and had a charge on there the next day for the full amount. I just paid it straight up. After I bought it, I got the paperwork in the mail. So far, with Endurance it's been super super easy and simple. There have been zero issues.

I had a high mileage car that I still was upside-down on. I liked the car and I wanted to keep it. I didn't want to lose again with going upside-down on another car. But with what car maintenance costs are now, I like the peace of mind of the extended warranty program. I didn't even know that they were available until I started doing research and all the reviews and everything talked about Endurance. So I talked to their rep and he was very thorough in explaining. I stayed on the phone with him for quite a while. He made sure I went through all the questions and knew all the answers without having to give me the, "I don't really know that one." But I don't think I had any questions that he didn't really know the answer to right off. He was easy to understand, which is a big thing any more these days trying to find English speaking customer service. It's getting farther and harder to find.
I'm one of those people that research the heck out of stuff and all the reviews and consumer reports and people talking about it with very high marks. I checked with some of the other ones. The only thing that they didn't do, and I couldn't find anybody that does it, is the hybrid car. And I found nobody that would cover the hybrid car over 100,000 miles. That's the only complaint I had. But Endurance would cover the non-hybrid components of the car. Some of the other ones were much higher and didn't cover as much. And the Toyota and so one of their most troubles parts are the battery packs and all the hybrid systems. So, that's one to be concerned. It's more of the engine, front-end parts. They don't cover the battery in a hybrid system, which is mostly just the battery pack and the electric motor.
Endurance is a little expensive but I just had some work done on my wife's brand-new truck and I know how much that cost on the smallest things. It's like buying an auto insurance. You don't want to ever use it but if you do, it's there. And I like where I can sell it with the car, I can transfer it to another car, which is what would probably happen down the road or just cancel it without any restrictions. They also set me up on auto-pay. I like the way they put it down in a two years but it's a four-year term. So, I'll have a couple of years payment-free type of thing which will be nice, too. It was a good experience. I got all the paperwork just as the guy promised. Everything was pretty easy to understand. Nice packaging, real professional set-up there.

I didn't want to end up having to go through that all over again and I wanted to make sure that this time, I covered all my basis so I had looked into multiple auto warranties. I liked the reviews I saw about Endurance the most. After comparing everybody else's plans, I liked Endurance's the most. So, I decided to go with that.
Their specialists were all very nice and they explained things very well. So, I was full aware of what it was that I was getting. They answered all my questions in a timely manner. I definitely appreciated the fact that they went through everything with me because I don't really know much about cars and extended warranties. I liked the fact that they were very thorough. They have been very good about understanding what it is that I was expecting and explaining to me what I was receiving. They also told me that they would be sending me the package with my card. We got a warranty for our beautiful new Cadillac. It's used and is in meticulous condition. But we didn't want any headaches or drama, so we got the best warranty we can get just in case. The Endurance reps that we talked to were helpful, but not too knowledgeable. And I think we could use information from the warranty company. I figure a welcome package with a book that would tell you what's covered and not covered, all the ins and outs of the warranty. I didn't get anything of that. When I got the bill for $300, I found it funny that it doesn't have anything that says what I'm covered for or not. I made two payments. The payments are $129 a month. I thought it was automatic billing, but I didn't want to give them the automatic billing. And then I got a bill today that I have to pay $300. It’s supposed to be at 100,000 miles, but it’s void. I looked into auto warranty companies and Endurance was the first one that called me back. Their specialist was wonderful and I was most impressed with his knowledge. So far, it’s been a great experience.

I believe in insurance whether it has to do with automobile, health or a home. It's a small price to pay should you find yourself in need of it. I began to conduct research online, make a few phone calls and talk to a few different people. When I called Endurance and spoke with Oscar, he was willing to take the time necessary to respond to each one of my questions. He enabled me to ultimately have enough information to make a good decision. I challenged him on some issues but he remained calm and professional. He responded with facts and not with some contrived sales-oriented pitch. I finally came to the place that for many different reasons, I felt that Endurance was the smartest direction to go with as compared to the 5 other companies that I have been investigating.
I spent an hour talking on the phone with Oscar. After that, I received another call from a verifier, somebody to legitimized the decision and responded with an overview of everything that had been decided upon, on what I was purchasing, and what would be the requirements on my part and on the part of Endurance so we could formalize the relationship moving forward. I was told that I should receive in the product materials that I want to keep on hand in a number of days. The payments are also being automatically debited out of a particular credit card account and there's no burden for me. I go on the next number of miles and time frame with a significant degree of peace of mind with respect to the decision I made. I'm on my first month with Endurance and I've been very impressed not only with the company from an informational standpoint, but with the man I was dealt with, from hello to goodbye. Oscar is a credit to the organization.

They called me back and were saying the few gears and everything was around in my ballpark, so I went with them. The specialist was quite convincing and nice, and she made me laugh. She went through one price, then she took it down, and she got in the ballpark figure of what I was willing to pay for in a month. As far as the planning goes, I was saying a bucket of reference, she was correcting me, lowers my bucket more preferably. It covers more of the vehicle than it doesn't cover. So, I was pretty happy with that plan. And the fact that I only pay for equals two years instead of doing it for four years. I've paid 24 months but I'm covered for 48 months from that. There was also no difficulty making payments at all. After my first month, then I'm going to do an auto pay.
For the response to the phone call, I would rate it high. And the fact that if I don't use it, then I can end up recovering an amount of my money back. So, praying that I don't have to use it. I had just gotten the policy and I wanted to make sure that I understood everything before I put it in my glove compartment. I also called them to test if the 800 number really works. I haven't used the product, which was a good thing, but I was telling my sister the other day that if she bought a car, I would recommend Endurance.

The reviews were high as well as the Better Business Bureau ratings so I decided to go with them. The representatives were very informative and they told me everything to expect and they mailed in what to look over in the information. Endurance is reliable and as far as the information and the people that you call for your quotes and other things, they were good.

Endurance had the best reviews out of the other four companies I looked at. Their specialist was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. We conversed on the phone for about 45 minutes to ensure that I understood everything. I asked as many questions as I wanted to and we went over the price and my plan several times. My initial payment came out that same day and I haven’t paid my first payment but it will be automatically drawn from my checking account. It was a very pleasing experience overall. I didn’t expect it to go so easily and I did not expect the prices to be as affordable as they are, considering the options that they actually have available for a consumer compared to the other warranty companies that are out there. The other companies were like least expensive but they didn’t offer as much and they had more complaints. So, Endurance is on the high scale of the spectrum but it’s worth it and you get what you pay for.

I was purchasing a vehicle that was rather expensive and I knew maintenance could be expensive. When I went based on a lot of Google Reviews, Endurance Auto Warranty came up first and it seemed to be popular and useful. The rep was very polite and informative. I didn’t want to have to worry about the purchase so I just strapped it in my auto loan and I paid in full. The payments actually came in cheaper than what my credit union’s warranty would’ve been. I would recommend Endurance Auto Warranty. It was really easy to get all the information that I needed and they made the policy very clear.

I just paid off my vehicle and my warranty expires at the end of this month. So I was going to need another warranty for my car. Endurance Auto Warranty has the best ratings on the website I looked at. I initially told the first guy that I spoke to, "You know, let me think about it for a minute." And he said, "Well if you don't do it now, you won't get this quoted price." And when I called them back and I spoke to customer service, they were able to get everything to work out. And I even got the warranty at a better rate. The second person that I spoke with was a lot more informative as to giving me my needs versus just being somebody trying to sell me something. Overall, their customer service is great. It was easy to make the payments and their customer service representatives were all pretty nice.

I researched online and Endurance was cheaper than the one the dealership was offering. Endurance also had good reviews. The vehicle protection specialist was good. He was a finance manager. He made it easy and connected well with me. Paying the auto warranty was easy as well. I wanted to do autopay through my credit card and so I'm going to go set that up. If I ever do file a claim, I'll call it in to understand the process. They sent me a debit card and I want to know if I have to wait for them to approve the claim to load the money on the card or take it to the dealership to have their people work on it or how that works. I was a little on the hesitant side to get the warranty right away because I was just looking for information, but the rep dropped the price for me quite a bit, so I would do it within the first call. Purchasing the warranty took a really short time. I called, and within 30 minutes, it was done. It was also easy to set up my payments. Endurance seemed to be the best for the money or at least I hope it winds up that way if I need it.AAA and AARP were offering things but their costs were higher. I take care of my truck and I religiously do everything to it and I overdo some things. It’s 12 years old now and we'd go to Canada with the truck every year back and forth. But I have the transmission all flushed out, filters and everything offered in it and I flushed out the cooling system before we went. And then I took the warranty, so I know I'm in good shape. I probably won't ever need the services but we have it at least.
My alternator failed two years ago and I have replaced that myself, that’s not a big deal. But I do not want to take a transmission apart anymore. I did them when I was younger but right now, they're too sophisticated to even think about. When I bought the warranty, I called Endurance and then I got a couple of callbacks. I wasn’t able to follow up on them right away but I was able to contact them within the period needed to get the discounts. I signed everything up and I got the initial payment for them through the credit card. I also set it up to pay the monthly fees and we'll take it from there.

I bought a used car and looked into acquiring an auto warranty. I liked Endurance's website and so I went with them. As soon as I filled up the online form, my phone rang. The guy whom I worked with answered all my questions. However, he then put me through a lady who was the one who would transact the process. She was not a good representative of Endurance. I was on vacation and didn't want to start my warranty until I got back so I could have the balance in my account. She went ahead and asked me if I agreed to the warranty. I said I did but I didn't want to start it for two weeks. She then said that it was too late and that she had already run the warranty since I said that I agreed.
She was very officious. I said that she didn't give me a chance to ask her a question and that she just went through her checklist. I suggested that before she went ahead and processed, she should have asked if I had any questions. One question before she hit the button would have saved customers a lot of grief and made them feel better about the process. I do sales training and it was a hard close. Thereafter, I paid an amount to start up and pay monthly fees through MEPCO. While the process is easy, transacting with that lady left me with a really bad perception of Endurance. It made me question whether I wanted to go through them. Still, it was too late.

I was solicited more than 100 times by phone to purchase their (Endurance) extended service contract. After months of their relentless phone calls, I gave in and purchased their supreme package at $3600 which was the best that they offered. Several months later after the initial waiting period and mileage requirements were met, I had a problem with a transmission leak. I immediately took the truck into the repair shop (less than 5 miles were driven after it started leaking). Of course the repair shop found other items that required attention. I called Endurance to let them know I took the truck in to the repair shop. The shop also called Endurance to get a repair confirmation on all the items covered by the service contract (warranty) with Endurance.
Both myself and the repair shop was told that a claims inspector would be there within 48 hours and then endurance would have 24 hours to make a decision. This was a Tuesday. On Friday of that week I called Endurance as they had not responded to either myself or the shop. After 3 hours of waiting on the phone I was told by one of the many customer service managers that there was a miscommunication and the inspector was never ordered. He informed me that he put in an emergency order which moved me to the front of the inspection line. At this point the inspector now has 24 hours to file a report with Endurance and Endurance will respond within 24 hours of receiving that report.
Ok, so Monday came and no response again. Perhaps they don't work on weekends? I called on Tuesday to find out what was going on. I got to speak with a new customer service supervisor who informed me that a claims inspection was never ordered because I needed to furnish proof of mileage at time of service contract. Great to know this now, after I'm trying to file a claim. Why wouldn't they ask for this when selling the warranty? Because...they want every opportunity to deny claims. I was able to go to the parts store and get a copy of a receipt for oil filter and oil which displayed date and vehicle application that coincided with the purchase of the vehicle almost 3000 miles ago. After this was sent up, Endurance took several more days to review the receipt. Perhaps they needed to perform forensic reports on it to see if there was a way they could further deny it?
My vehicle has now been in the shop for a week and a half and I have gotten no results from the neatly 50 phone calls to Endurance. I was finally able to get Endurance to order a claims inspector to come to the shop and perform an inspection to verify repairs. The following week I had to make numerous calls over 5 days only to be told from Tuesday through Friday that my claim was being reviewed. I am dumbfounded how anyone could take 4 days to review a claim but, not to my surprise, most of the items were rejected as pre-existing. Even the transmission leak that was severe enough to leave a cup of fluid on the ground when I stopped but only had a oil area on the underside of the transmission the size of a dollar bill.
I asked the claims inspector how it could have been pre-existing with such a severe leak and nearly no oil coating the underside of the truck? It's basic aerodynamics and as he could see from the report pictures there was no such evidence of the leak being there for more than a mile or two. I asked the "claims adjuster" for his response. All he could do was repeat how they hire an inspector for his professional opinion. Ok, so he a "claims adjuster" for a company in the auto industry offering a type of warranty on repairs but cannot made an educated decision with facts and pictures in front of him??? I have a copy of the report and it says nothing about the leak being pre-existing. It only states that the repair shop did not demonstrate the extent of the cause.
I asked the repair shop about that specific statement and their response, "We did everything the inspector asked us to do for him, if he wanted more he only had to ask and our tech would have happily performed any task he requested". So, I paid for the repair that was stated as covered in my contract with Endurance. The A/C was a little weak and I asked the shop to look at it. Their conclusion was a leaking evaporator inside the dash that they diagnosed with some type of freon sniff testing equipment that went down into the dash vents. Endurance did cover this repair.
The shop found that the ball joint and tie rod on one side of the vehicle were in the early stages of failure, the rear axle bearings were loose and exhaust manifold bolt was broken causing a ticking noise for the first 10 seconds of the vehicle being started. All of these were covered items under my contract with Endurance. They refused to cover the repairs other than 1 bearing in the rear end. The remaining repairs they classified as pre-existing and the exhaust manifold failure as a result of rust. Ok I have never seen a used exhaust manifold that did not have rust/corrosion from the extreme heat of the exhaust gas. The repair shop informed me that every vehicle with 500 miles has rust and or corrosion on this part from the rest. Just another way Endurance is able to sneak out of their liabilities.
At this point, nearly 4 weeks had passed and a hundred phone calls had been made to Endurance since I took my truck in the shop and I told the shop to start making the repairs and I would pay for what Endurance doesn't. I called daily to try and get somewhere with Endurance but they transferred me from department to department until they disconnected me (accidentally, I sure). At the end of the fifth week I was able to get another inspection ordered to review my claim once more but I soon came to see that it was just to quiet me.
After the report, Endurance gave MD the runaround, again, and I was finally forced to pay for over 70% of the repairs myself and ultimately canceled the policy. These were all repairs that were covered under the contract but Endurance found a way to get out of paying for the majority of them. They promise the world when selling the contract with elaborate examples but they definitely don't live up to their promises.

The way that it was structured was that there wasn't really a lot of flexibility with staying with the options and getting a discounted price. They stood firm on their price but overall, it was good. They were very professional and client-centric.

A month prior to getting the extended auto warranty from Endurance, my old one was getting expired and I didn't want it to lapse and go get anything. Fortunately, the only thing wrong with my truck was a heated seat thing. So, I figure I'm going to borrow time. I read through 200 plus comments on Endurance and I figured if someone fakes 300 plus comments, you know good on them. Aside from that, when I talked to them, they weren't pushy. They found out what I needed. But the big thing was some of their perks. For example, trip insurance. If my car breaks down, they'll cover me for three days for hotel and reimburse me for any trip or lost money. Some of the other ones didn't offer that. They also had bumper to bumper, up, down, left, right, three dimensional, complete, 100% coverage for $3000. It wasn't expensive.
The person that I talked to was really nice. He was in Chicago and is a veteran like me. He was not trying to oversell me. I had also talked to their quality assurance guy. So there were two levels to make sure everything's on the up and up. If something was misunderstood, there was a totally separate guy, which I like. Their transparency and their due diligence to make sure that you're covered was a highlight. They also work with every mechanic or maintenance facility, so you're not limited to a certain few. Everything up to now I'm completely satisfied. They're good in conversation. I have peace of mind as soon as I hung up with them.

The warranty expired on my car. I had a really good one with Hyundai and I wanted to make sure that my car stayed in tip top shape with not having a lot of expense. I looked online and went to the fair credit or the bureau that checks companies and Endurance Auto Warranty had the highest rating. I gave the certified vehicle protection specialist the make and model of my car and told them how many miles I had on it. They came back with a complete list of everything that would be covered which was what I already have and some more. We had a conversation about it and I was happy and went on and made the purchase. There was one more thing that I brought up about me staying here and they went ahead and checked to see if there were more discounts and they got it for me. The payment side of purchasing was a big deal. I want to pay more than a 100 and they got it for me for less than that. My experience with Endurance was great.

I’ve been with Endurance Auto Warranty for about two months now. I’ve been looking around and every warranty place seemed to be putting pressure. I felt pressured with Endurance, too, but I was in a rush to get an auto warranty, so I signed up with them. Even if they’re pricier, they're local and happens to be here in Skokie so they're close to home, so if I have an issue and nothing happens to work out, at least they're in my neighborhood. All the other auto warranty companies seem to be out of my state. They do normal wear and tear as well, which other warranty companies couldn’t guarantee.
When the sales rep was trying to sign me up, she was very responsive in calling back. But as soon as I signed up, I tried to call her back for more info but she never returned my phone calls. I also don’t think she knew what she was talking about since she couldn’t answer my questions. These made me leery about Endurance. Despite these, I sent her an email that I’m sticking with them in the meantime. The guy from customer service that I spoke with on the day I tried to cancel my policy seemed to be very knowledgeable, so he made me lean towards Endurance.
Another thing was that in making payments, I was never told there was going to be an automatic withdrawal every month out of my credit card. I don’t know if I can still cancel with them, but from the day I called to when my 30 days were up, I sent an email to both the salesperson and the last guy I spoke with and told them I wasn’t happy with Endurance. I was trying to get a return call from the reps, but to this day they still haven’t returned my phone call. I wouldn't recommend anybody from Endurance until I actually need to use my warranty.

Purchasing the extended auto warranty was very easy. I gave them the credit card number and it was straightforward, no problem at all.
The salesperson was excellent, very forthcoming and honest. He told me about all the plans and sold me something that was right for me and my budget. He didn’t try to push me into something that I didn’t need or couldn’t afford, finding out what I think was the perfect plan for what I needed to have covered and explained all the coverages to me. He showed me a sample of the contract and then once I got the contract I called him back. He said to contact him if I have any questions. I did and he answered all of them.
It worked well and I had a very positive experience. Everything that he told us that’s gonna happen has happened. If people are looking for an extended warranty I definitely recommend Endurance Auto Warranty highly because the process was seamless from beginning to end. I had the vehicle in the shop for a regular maintenance and my mechanic and I started talking about the mileage on the vehicle. I had an extended warranty that came with it when I purchased it and I had already purchased the extended warranty through the dealer. It ended at 122,000. Now it's at 125,000. He said I can still get an extended warranty. He gave me options and I went looking, read ratings and ended up going with Endurance Auto Warranty. I called them a couple of days ago after I got the contract and discussed the waiting period with them. It said 60 days and 1,000 miles. The confirmation team and the original salesperson said it was 30 days and 1,000 miles. I asked them to go back and listen to the tapes but they said that wouldn’t do any good because they don’t offer that plan for my vehicle.
Even though the outcome wasn’t quite what I was hoping, it was a good experience. I liked that there was only a $100 deductible with it. The plan itself sounded good. Between 30 days and 60 days, it shouldn’t make a difference. Now, if I break down at 45 days, I’m going to be a pretty unhappy camper. I got 104 miles left out of a 2,000. So, I’m almost to the 1,000 miles. Worst case scenario, if something happens and I have 1,000 miles on it, it’s going to sit for a while. It’s better to have something go wrong with the time frame than the mileage because if you have a transmission problem, you can’t put miles on it. Overall, the experience was good. They did a good job of explaining the plan. The certified vehicle protection specialist was knowledgeable and cordial. For a salesperson, he was answering questions more and explaining the program rather than being pushy. So, from that perspective, it was a good experience.
I made the down payment on the phone with them after the confirmation. Now, it’s automatically deducted each month from my account. I've got it on autopay. You can’t ask for anything easier than that. But the waiting period is a big thing for me. They have a salesperson and a confirmation team that tells me something different than what’s on the contract and tells me it’s being recorded. They should go back and listen to the recording and make it right. I went through the entire extended warranty with the one I bought at the dealership and it didn’t have any problems and the car is running good. Right now, I’m not making a big deal. The communications I've had makes me feel comfortable, that they’re reputable and that they will pay a claim. But I’m disappointed that they don’t hold themselves accountable upfront.
