I just bought a used car and didn’t know if I was inheriting somebody's problems or not. So I would rather be safe than sorry and got an extended warranty. I looked up the top 10 that people recommended. Endurance was number two so I contacted them and about four others and I liked Endurance. Their rep was knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and everything seemed to be upfront. I haven't done anything yet, but so far Endurance has been pretty good.

I did some online research on reviews and Endurance was rated good. I went with the higher rating and got them. I was looking for an exclusionary policy so an issue is covered if it's not excluded, and everything was fine with the purchase. There were also no issues in setting up the payments. I already got the booklet and hopefully they live up to their name and reputation.

I just lost a car in 2013, so I don’t want to take a chance and got an extended warranty. The limited warranty of my car was about to expire then I had to shop around and found Endurance. Their corporate office is in Skokie, and it was a hometown thing that I got them plus their review was also pretty good. I had a tough negotiation with their rep the first half an hour, but we came to terms.
The car doesn’t have that many mileage. I bought it 2013. I barely have 36 something now on it so I was looking for bumper-to-bumper and that's what I got. And as far as you agree on what payments you're gonna make, it was harmless. God forbid if something happens, it's very valuable for me personally. I'm just paying this in case if something happens at least I have assurance that Endurance is gonna be there.

I just purchased a Highlander for my wife last year and a car under warranty is nice to have. I always try to have one but we just bought a Highlander and the payment is a little high. My car is seven years old. I didn't need a new one since I'm only using mine only once or twice per week. So I decided to buy a warranty for the car to have less expenses if something happens. With a warranty, I would just drop the car at the dealer's and pick up the car when it's ready. I chose Endurance and asked their rep a couple of questions on what is covered by their warranty. He explained everything to me and purchasing the warranty was very easy. Everything went fine.

I was looking for a service contract and Endurance had more of what I was looking for in terms of coverage. I looked at six other companies and they wanted everything to be covered for more money and I didn't want that coverage. Alternatively, their warranties covered too little. Endurance's rep was enthusiastic and made it easy to make a decision. My plan with them covers all major vehicle issues like the tranny.
However, I didn't even realize that they had set me up with auto pay. When I checked my bank account, I wondered who the hell Mepco was, then I realized it was Endurance. If I didn't look into it more, I could have rated that as fraud. Nevertheless, with Endurance, the cost was not bad. It was a little above what I wanted to pay but with 24 months and paying a set fee every month, it's still reasonable.

I wanted to check with different companies for getting a warranty as I knew mine was going to expire. I was gonna get one through one through Honda but I didn't like theirs so I did my own checking. I found Endurance and purchasing their warranty was easy. I just did the initial deposit and subsequent payments would come out of my checking account monthly. I like the warranty I have right now. Though my car just turned 36,000 miles and I haven't had issues with it, I wanted to make sure I have coverage for the next few years because of all the electrical stuff on it. Overall Endurance has been great. I'm very satisfied and I would recommend them to friends.

The main questions I had were based upon coverage or what type of plan, and they negotiated a good package for me that included what I needed. Also, they were able to give good breakdowns on payout. I bought a car in 2007 and got the extended warranty through Chrysler Mopar. In February, as I was coming up on the end of that extended warranty which was 116,000 miles and running up in September, I talked with Chrysler Mopar and they said they had another six year extension and 75,000 miles. They told me to call them in July or whenever I start getting close to 116,000 miles. So I got to them by 115,000 with 10,000 miles and they just cancelled extending the warranty for that many miles of cars. The guy was very apologetic but at that point, I got on the internet and on the phone and then talked with a bunch of different people.
I preferred what I heard from Endurance about my coverage options, pricing and the extension that would run four years and 60,000 miles. I was interested in that and I found out that they’ve been around for a while. They were not some two-year organization that sells all the warranties and goes out of business because that happened to me years and years ago. The Endurance rep was very good and he did a great job. He got me all lined up and that went well. It was very smooth and he was very transparent. People should look into Endurance but marketing should consider that cars are getting older and people are running 200,000 but it appears that somewhere under 200,000 the extended warranty folks dropped off the map.

I just paid off my vehicle and it has about 119,000 on it now. Stuff could start to go bad sometime in the future so I thought it would be a good idea to have some protection. Endurance popped up as being the best auto warranty provider so I decided to go through them. I called them up and told them that I needed to get an extended warranty and they went ahead and took the information about the vehicle. They asked asked me how many miles there was on it and told me how much it was gonna cost for first payment and the payments after that. They have three different types of policies and they asked me if I wanted the premium one. I told them I wanted the policy that's gonna cover the major things.
However, I didn't have the money to start the insurance right away so they went ahead and said that they would start on the 2nd of July. I didn't get the booklet and all the information on it until it was around 12th-13th and I realized that there was a 1,000 mile or 30-day waiting period before the policy actually comes enforced. But then, during that 30-day period I was gonna have to get a oil change. I do my own oil changes and I told Endurance about that. They told me that I needed to have a paper trail. I responded saying that I have the receipts for my oil and filter from Walmart. The rep talked to his manager who said that what I had wasn't good enough for a paper trail.
I tried to change and the manager said that they had another policy where I could wait 30 or 60 days before doing an oil change. It was more expensive and I thought that I'd stick with the policy I have and put as many miles on my truck as I can then have the oil change before the 30 days are up. I've put over a 1,000 miles on it so I probably got the deductible satisfied. Though I'm a little upset that didn't get the information about the oil change earlier, I'd still definitely recommend Endurance to others.

Their options were cool. However, I'm an automotive mechanic and when I talked to their reps about the warranty, I felt that they did not understand the process. They might be getting misinformed but I thought that they saw the plans for more than what they are. If a person reads the fine print, certain things aren’t covered, especially those that have to do with the powertrain. Other than that, working with their reps was fairly straightforward and making payments for the warranty was very easy. One time however, they got my address wrong. Still, the paperwork was corrected afterward and sent to the correct address.

To repair a Sprinter is very expensive and I've had warranties on it. But I was out of warranty for six months and I spent $5,000 very easily in a matter of two weeks. I decided to get another warranty and I couldn't find people other than Endurance that would give me anything that was reasonable. Price was an extremely big factor and I was able to wheel and deal with them. I played three of their people against each other to get the best price. It's called "Let's Make a Deal", Monty Hall. They just had to make sure I had the money. I paid the whole thing upfront and that was what gave me a better price. I bought a four-year policy and if the warranty is not used within those four years up to that mileage, I would get a prorated refund.
They need to have their people tell customers more of what they're getting though. They didn't explain a damn thing to me. I'm not an auto mechanic and what they said didn't mean anything to me. The only thing they said was to read about the plans on the internet. But there's too much fraud on the internet right now and all I wanted to make sure was that I'm covered. That was why I had to call the dealership and a friend of mine who's a service director there to make sure I was getting something that was legit. I asked if they had good experience with Endurance and that was how I checked the warranty company out.
Also, there's one thing I'm waiting to hear on. They wanted me to get an oil change but we had done one in April. We get one every 12,000 miles and we drive seasonally. So I told them that if they wanted to pay $150 for an oil change, it would be my pleasure to get one but I was not paying for one this time. I did it and it's in their record but I've never heard back about that.

Endurance covered more than anybody at a lower price, so, I went with them. I purchased my warranty online and they sent me the paperwork. I read everything online as far as the warranty, what it covers, what it doesn’t cover, and if it is bumper-to-bumper. I filled-up everything online as well.
Then, my husband set up the payment for $125 a month instead of having to pay it all upfront and we paid a small $165 down. There was no way I could’ve done it without the payment plan and I liked that about Endurance. The other thing is, they can do automatic draft where they draft it out and you’ll get your policy within seven days. I got my policy really quick. Plus, you have the option of canceling it within 30 days if you get the policy and it didn’t cover what you thought it did. So, that was really good. But I was kind of on the fence if I was gonna get it or not. The price was still too high and they kept calling and calling. They did a sales pitch and pressuring and stuff. And then they ended up dropping the price significantly from what it was originally. They kept saying, "If you don't take advantage of this today, then this deal's gone and then it's not gonna get any better." But then they called back and gave me a better deal to try to sell me on it. I ended up buying it. They reduced it probably about $400 from what they originally started with it.
They were harassing people and were real aggressive, which people didn't like. And then I also started reading reviews about how they weren't paying out. All the reviews online were about how good their customer service was and their sales and how easy it was to work with them. But then when it came time for the claims, it might've just been all bad reviews online.
I was pressured in the sale and then I hard 30 days to cancel it. So I had a full 30 days to do reviews and check on the company, what they were about and everything else. When I finally got all their packet in the mail and I read through all of the fine print, there was a lot of loopholes. And then when I started reading the reviews, it seemed like they were using a lot of the loopholes to not pay out claims. The policy covers the engine and drivetrain so it doesn’t do a whole lot, but a transmission would be a good expense if it went out. Then I set up the payments on a credit card so I have to look and see the statements to see that they're going through properly. So far, my experience is good and I'd recommend Endurance.

When I googled Endurance, they were either the number 1 or one of the top warranty places and in my research somebody said that he was not looking to see who was top-rated but the one who sells the most because that’s the one doing the best. Also, in my studies in the Bible, there was a scripture that said, “The race is not one to the swift and the strong but they that endure to the end.” So, the name was part of the reason on why I got it plus, Jordan, the rep, was great.
Usually, males tend not to be as knowledgeable as their female counterpart and they’re not as friendly. So, I normally don’t deal with guys but Jordan was outstanding. He wasn’t pushy and just laid out what the policy consisted of and when I asked him questions, he had answers. I asked him if that was something I could read in the contract now because if they retell them what he was telling me, I would probably not get it. I was at Burger King and he called me and I told him I was thinking about having it. And then I told him I wanna go ahead and get it and I did. My insurance claim was denied. My fuel tank would not take more than one and a half gallons of fuel then shut off the pump. The garage made the repair and it was faulty fill limit vent valve which closes the fill tube to let the pump fill handle sense a back pressure to kick off the gas pump. This valve is part of the fuel pump in the gas tank, and is bought as a unit. The insurance company insists that this valve is Evap and therefore is not covered by the policy. The garage insists that it is a part of the fuel delivery system and not part of the emissions system, therefore should be covered by the policy.
I voiced my dissatisfaction to Endurance Dealer Services and they are steadfast to not paying the garage bill ($815), why am I paying for insurance? When I read the policy on the exclusions that are not covered (2 pages) there can't be hardly anything left --- it would be much easier to list the very few things it will cover. Don't buy extended insurance, the cost of the policy will more than pay for any major repair that will happen. Too late for me but if you are reading this review it may not be for you. Bottom line for any insurance company is to make money and not pay a claim if possible. Make sure you read the exclusions very closely and it gets very interesting near the end where the exclusions are very general and they can just about make anything up to fit their needs. Good luck my friends.

I had warranties before and sometimes, I take my car in and out. I rarely use it so I had it parked up. I cancelled the last people I had because I was gonna leave my car parked for four months and I didn’t wanna pay for something I wasn’t using. I don’t really put that many miles on my car and my car got a lot of customization on it. New paint job, new rims, new everything, music system and all that stuff so I didn’t want anything to happen.
When I put Endurance on and then I tried to call them for a little bit of questions about the contract, the responses they gave me were not for me. For everything, I gotta go to a mechanic for maintenance. Who’s gonna pay a mechanic $100 to $200 to check your car, get your oil changed when you could do that yourself? In the previous warranty I had, I was able to do that as long as I have the receipt for the filter and oil. So they’re making me spend more money that I would have spent anywhere else.
I spoke to the Endurance guys and they were the last to do the oil changes. That was a discrepancy I had because I ended up doing my own oil changes. Now, I wanted to drop them because when I read the contract, it stated that they don’t allow me to do my own oil changes. I didn’t want to wait for the moment if something happens to my car and then they will say, “No, we’re not liable because you did your own oil change and you didn’t take it somewhere.” And then when I asked for a refund, I didn’t get one of those dealers. The Endurance people treated me with respect but it just wasn’t for me. They have so much stipulation and in the long run, I feel like I was gonna get the bad part of the deal. If something did go wrong with my car, I had a feeling like I wasn’t gonna get coverage so I prefer to avoid it now before it costs me more money and I get nothing in return.
I wouldn’t tell that Endurance is a great thing unless you’re gonna go all the time to the dealers and have the dealers do the oil change for you and spend $160, when it’s supposed to be 50 or 60 bucks. I wouldn’t refer anybody to Endurance right now because I wasn’t treated fairly. Even when I asked about the oil changes and stuff like that, he was like, “No, you’re not supposed to do that.” So right there, I knew my contract was voided. If I would have kept paying three months down the line, at long time, I would have been voided because I did my own oil changes. I always do my own oil changes and I do it quite often in my car. Even if my car sits for three months and I don’t drive it, when I do decide to drive it, I’m changing the oil because it’s been sitting in there for a long time. I had called people and I have friends who were gonna get Endurance but then I told them about the experience I had so they’re not gonna go with it.

Their rep was very professional but the only thing I didn't like was I told him the certain day that I wanted it to start and they didn't wait till that day to draw that money from my account. They did it when they wanted to.
I applied for the warranty over the phone. I just had to have all the right information on hand I didn't have, like my VIN number and it was very easy after that. I never had to buy insurance before so I wasn't prepared myself but they were easy to deal with. I feel better having the warranty. I have peace of mind that if something happens, I'm still good. We held off getting the warranty for a while after we first got the car. When we first came here, things were so up-in-the-air and we got sick. We forgot about the warranty for a while. When we got regular maintenance done on the car, my husband Bob talked to a man about the warranty for a while. We had talked about getting it because although the car was running good, we may wanna take some trips. I think Bob didn’t realize we were putting in so many miles on the car. So I guess reality set in and a couple of months later, he said we should go ahead and get the warranty.
It was two months ago that we purchased the warranty and it went well. But we keep getting calls from Endurance and it's annoying. The recording says you haven't done this and that and that we only have a short time to do it or it would be ineffective. I tried to get it to stop. I thought I could speak to a representative and clear this up. The recording said to hit one if you want to sign up and a representative would help you. But I waited almost 15 minutes and nobody ever came back on. I've checked the number they're calling from and sometimes, it's not the same. And pressure was put on us the last two or three times. They would say, “You know your time is running out.” But other than that, Bob's pleased with the warranty. He paid so much money and then Endurance is taking out the monthly payment through the credit card.

But if they were not on TV, that meant that nobody was going with them. Also, a commercial is expensive, so, I thought they must be doing something good. I called them about signing up, gave them the mileage, and got set up. I liked the part where they told me that I could cancel anytime with no penalty. That part was good. But the process was too easy and it should be a little more difficult. They should have said that they needed a picture of the mileage and they have to work on their skills in asking for that. They should tighten up a little more and ask the customer to send them a picture of the car as well as its side, back, right, left, front, mileage and motor. They should also ask for the tire size of the car and the year model. It’d be better if they do that, so they'd be more protected.
Right now, I’m having problems with the car. I already called Endurance and told them about it. They told me that when I find a mechanic, I should let them know. But the problem is, the mechanics are too expensive. They want $2,700 and the lowest one I got was $2,500. I’m not gonna pay a lot of money to fix the issue on my car. I don't have the original manufacture warranty anymore and when I looked into providers, Endurance was cited as the leader in the industry and the best one to deal with. But when I was sold the warranty, I felt like they didn't know the policy in and out. They didn't know the different vehicles but they should have some basic knowledge of a vehicle. If I ask whether a certain part is covered, they should be able to say yes or no. They should also know what a hybrid is and they should be able to flat-out answer if a hybrid battery is covered. Legally speaking, in the contract, the battery is not covered but that is normally the regular engine battery. The contract says that the hybrid drivetrain is covered and the battery is part of it. I feel like there needs to be a specific yes or no answer.
And when I got my information and read everything, it was telling me that the high-tech stuff is not covered because of my mileage. But when I bought the warranty, they said that I'm covered so I'm a little bit upset right now. Despite that, I'd tell others to give them a call, get a quote and see. I was purchasing a luxury vehicle and knew that repair is very expensive. I did a Google search and Endurance came back as one of the better companies from the results but when I was buying the warranty, there was a big misunderstanding. My mileage was very close to 57,0000 and I reported it on June 7th. I got an email from someone at Endurance on July 3rd saying that they needed me to provide the exact mileage. So, I reported the mileage as of July 3rd and they inadvertently entered that as the start mileage of my contract.
When I recently put my car for service under the warranty, they said that I have exceeded the one-month period but I had not exceeded the 1,000 miles. I told them that I’ve gone almost 3,000 miles. They said they show the mileage as 59,687 and when I took it to the service center, it was 60,400 something. I told them the original mileage was 57,000 miles and there was a lot of back and forth. My claim was denied because of that. I had to send in a service record from June 6 when I took it into the dealership to have a recall repair work done on it. I had to gather all these and send this over to them to tell them they made a mistake. Eventually, they corrected it and reverted the start mileage to 57,200. They got the claim process moving forward but it was hindered for about three days and that wasn’t a pleasurable experience.
Sending an email to the customer asking for the exact mileage nearly a month after the contract start date has to have some follow-up on that because that’s a major mistake. When Endurance asked for that information, my current one was 59,687 and that’s what I replied via email. They took that information without validating or contacting me to clarify and put it in on my contract as the start mileage. But Alvin, the Endurance rep, did his research, explained to the manager, came back to me, asked for the service records that I had showing the lesser mileage, I sent them back and he took everything on his own. He was the only positive experience I had that pretty much saved me as customer. He took ownership of the mistake and in getting it resolved so I’m satisfied.

Then one day, I received a phone call from Endurance direct that was inquiring if I'm interested in their auto warranties. They were very professional just like how knowledgeable they were. They came correct with the information that they presented and on top of that, they love military. That part was definitely an eye opener for me. He offered me a discount. The promotional offer was 100 bucks off the whole plan so it decreased the amount that I would actually have to pay for the 18 months. Ultimately, the price was reasonable and very convenient. The policy lasts for four years and I'm only paying the monthly payments for 18 months. I'm not even paying it for the whole four years and I'll still be able to enjoy the service for that four years. I chose what I deemed to be the most legitimate company out of all of the ones that I reached out to.
However, I think it's on the high end because it's about a $4,000 warranty policy, which is double what everyone else was quoting me. In that sense, working with Endurance was a negative experience. I just didn't wanna go with a $1,000 or $2,000 policy with another company that I wasn't sure was going to be there when I needed them.
Nevertheless, their reps and everyone with the company have been great. They should only make sure that the rates they are providing are consistent across the board. With the type vehicle that I have, parts and stuff can be expensive and that’s why I chose that policy. Endurance set my payment plan for once a month and it’s on the 27th of the month. I’m on a fixed income and I wanna see if they’d take it on the first of the month. For a two-year policy, it seems to be a little expensive. But I had to get something because of the type of vehicle I have.

But then, I heard somewhere that the warranty is not gonna be honored anymore because of the change of some policies, so I figured I might need something that’s as far as I could use as a backup in case my vehicle breaks down. Endurance was the first one that showed up on my search for auto warranty companies. Dealing with their customer service team has been better than I expected. I had a great experience with their representatives that when I called back to cancel, they were very nice and they took care of my situation. I signed up for some email thing and got few emails about auto warranties. Then Endurance got back to me and I talked to someone on the phone. It sounded like a good deal for the price so I bought it. The coverage of the plan is fair and they'd be debiting my credit card once a month for two years. The warranty was going out on my vehicle. From what I've experienced in the past, it can be costly if your car is starting to rack up mileage and you don't have an extended warranty. I did some research and Endurance came in number one. The rep I worked with was very knowledgeable. He told me the difference and because my car had a little bit more miles he also explained to me what I needed to do, the different warranties for cars with certain amount of mileage. He was really patient, talking to him over the phone and getting all the information that I need. He explained to me about the oil change, to make the warranty valid. He went over a lot of stuff because I had a lot of questions.
I called and I talked to a lady named Kim, because she needed my actual mileage verbally. And at the time I was out of town working so I never really got a chance to get back with her. She said it would be okay to email it and that was what I did. I also submitted the oil change. They said I had 30 days to do that. So I emailed that information over. I would recommend Endurance.

Second the very first time I had to take my vehicle for a repair they denied the repairs stating they wasn’t covered under the warranty because of the parts was specified in the warranty coverage which is a bunch of bs. They find loopholes to not cover certain repairs! This company does nothing but lie to their customers. I bought a car at an auction and its regular warranty expired about two weeks before that. It only had 28,000 miles on it but I thought I would be pressing my luck if I didn't have a warranty. It would not be cheap but I thought it would be better to be safe than sorry. Besides, it might be the last car I ever own so I need to have it covered. I also live by myself and I have to have dependable transportation.
Endurance was more expensive than the other ones but the others didn't really offer a bumper-to-bumper coverage which was what I was looking at. Endurance answered all my questions and we did some negotiating on the pricing. I'm gonna be retiring soon and I didn't want a monthly payment hanging over my head. So we negotiated about the plan total versus no financing and I had already made the small down payment that held the contract open. Then I changed it over to a zero deductible so that worked fine. But when they put the contract through, it had a $100 deductible on it so I had to make a couple of phone calls back and forth. We were able to fix that and not change the timing from my original sign-up date so that worked very smoothly. I've paid the whole thing off too.
Endurance was a few hundred dollars higher than what the other ones were quoted but the coverage is better so it's worth it to me. All it takes is a couple of no $100-deductible and I've made that up. And something's gonna happen at some point. They said the warranty is up to 100,000 miles or five years and I would never ever hit 100,000 miles. The car that I got rid of before I bought this one was 10 1/2 years old and it only had 80,000 miles on it. So mileage is not my issue and I figured if there's anything that's gonna go wrong with it, it'll go wrong within five years.
