Received an estimate, reasonable price but the salesman would not email me what it covered. Said it would be 60 days and 1000 miles before anything would be covered. Salesman very pushy. Said the price is only good for today, not giving me time to fully compare and study them. My repair facility has never heard of them or dealt with them. While talking to them, was put on hold and disconnected 3 times. Did not purchase because of the pushy tactics.

My warranty was up and I was looking around for a warranty company. My son lives in West Virginia and he is a finance manager at a dealership. He sells warranties all the time and I got him on the phone with Endurance. He said it was as good a deal as he could get or better than he could get me because I wasn't gonna have him do it, but he talked to them. So, I went with Endurance. Their reps explained everything thoroughly but they said that they were gonna send an information package and I haven't gotten it yet. That was three weeks.

My factory warranty on my car expired and I didn't wanna get a warranty through the dealership. I've had a bad experience with that before. I had to pay for a warranty that has expired until my car was paid for. The Endurance warranty suits me a lot better. It’s more expensive but I'm not bound under any contracts. The rep was a nice guy and very professional. He was thorough and explained things to me. He made a lot of things clear. I didn't have any issue with him other than negotiating the price. I'm satisfied and I've recommended Endurance to someone already. If anything comes up, I would like to be assured that I'm not gonna run into red tape trying to get some things done to my car. I was told it wasn't gonna be an issue with that. So, if I end up having some issues with getting some service paid for and it's not done, then I probably won't be a customer anymore.

My other auto warranty ran out and I'm hoping that Endurance covers everything that it states it covers, and that it’s a good policy. I listened to the offers and chose that one. It sounded like more of a valued pick. A warranty for my vehicle is very valuable, when I need it. The rep was nice, helpful and knowledgeable. It has been a great experience and I'm satisfied. I haven't had any problems as of yet and people should give them a shot.

Purchasing an auto warranty is a good idea to have something to help you. Endurance sounded good when I talked to the salesman. Some salesmen can give you a line that you don’t believe from word one to word two. The people at Endurance were very nice to talk to. When I talked to them, they seemed very honest and very straightforward, and I felt it sounded like a good option to have.

I wanted to use a third-party warranty company instead of something dealer-offered. The price and the service were way better after Endurance gave me their quote. Their rep was great. He was friendly and worked with me on what I needed. He did a good job of answering my questions. It was very easy to set up the payments. They just took it over the phone, and I didn’t have to do anything.

I went on the internet to look at providers that do the extended warranty and which ones were reliable. When I was looking through everything, Endurance was the one that came out that's highly rated. The setup process was very easy. On the website itself, you have to put in your information, name, address and phone number. They were very prompt in contacting me the same day and they explained the whole situation. They explained what the warranty covers and what it doesn't.
And then, I had to speak to a specialist. I had to go and do the mileage for the car. But I haven't had to use it yet. My first payment is gonna be in June 10th, but in any event, they assured me that if I had any trouble with my truck, that it wouldn't be a drawn-out issue. It would just be I would have to tell the dealer that this is my issue and this is my extended warranty company. They made it seem very seamless and easy.
They sent me information in the mail which I requested. And I'm glad that they adhered to that because a lot of times when I asked some companies to send me the bill by the mail, they still email it to me. And I don't check my email every single day. I have like a billion emails. It's just tedious reading through everything that's not legit.

The dealership where I bought my Nissan sucked me in. Right now I owe 10 grand and I gave them almost 5,000 down. They got me for about 15,000 on a 2013 Nissan with 86,000 miles on it. I hate the car. I can't stand it. It's awful. I wanted them to hold on to my money and they said, "Nope, you bought the car. Sign here, sign here." To cover my own butt and to make me feel a little bit better, I needed a warranty insurance if anything goes wrong with the car. The dealership screwed me out of a 30-day warranty up there and then. They wanted me to get a warranty from them and I didn't have $3,000 for the warranty so I had to get my own warranty somewhere.
I shopped around and CarShield wasn't good. I had them call me out and they're a bunch of vultures too. I was driving down the hi-way when I called them just for information on how they worked 'cause I never heard of this after-warranty stuff. The rep wanted me to pull over in the breakdown lane and pull out my credit card. I was not ready yet and I didn't even have the car. And I was driving. There were a couple of other ones out there, but I found out that Endurance had 5 stars across the board by the Better Business Bureau. It was the best.
Endurance was pretty good from the get-go. My representative was great. He talked and walked me through it. He explained what was going on to my brother. He was a really nice guy and very down-to-earth. He sounded like a guy I could trust. The policy covers bumper-to-bumper except for catalytic converters and $89 was pretty affordable. It was also affordable for me to pay Endurance $190 down. I'm hoping that when the time comes, if I gotta bring my car in, I will have no problems. I did read people leaving results on experience with this company and they got a few negativities out there, but they got more positive than negative. And CarShield has got more negative than anything.

I drive a Lexus and I was constantly getting these calls about my warranty that it was going to expire. I researched and spoke to somebody who told me to call Endurance. So, I said would give them a try and see what they have to say. I wanted bumper to bumper. I'm a female and I don't wanna be stranded and stuck. I just wanted everything covered. Endurance took their time and patience with me. They explained everything. Everybody else was just trying to get me just to sign up and did not explain what was going on, what was happening and what my warranty entailed. They were trying to get me to just sign up.
When I contacted Endurance, I did it online and they called me. The girl went through A to Z to meet with me and by the time she finished, I signed up. I can’t log in on the website but each time I called and spoke to a customer service, they were great. Making the payments was okay because I had to switch my card as well. However, I was calling after 9 o’clock, which was the time it says that they’re open, and they still weren’t open. I eventually got through. I had to wait but it wasn’t that bad. So, that was good. I've had a great experience so far with Endurance and I have no complaints.

I have an older vehicle which is a Cadillac. We looked around for an auto warranty for a little bit, and Endurance was one of the first ones we saw. What they offered for the price seemed like a good investment and purchasing the warranty was fine. The lady who sold me the policy was great. Except for the discrepancy with when the coverage takes effect, she answered my questions. I asked her when I'd be covered and she said, "As soon as they take that money out for your initial downpayment, then you're covered." When I got transferred to the guy who told me I'd get these physical cards in the mail, he told me that it was three months. The cards never got sent to my email and I'm starting to feel scammed. That's what's been going through my mind. They took that money right out of my account. It was like $250 down and 130 or something a month, and I haven't heard a thing.

My warranty was getting ready to expire and I contacted companies to see how much an extended warranty would be or even if it was really worth doing. Endurance called right away, and the person that contacted me the first time was very, very nice. It was a great experience. That is one of the reasons why I went with Endurance. I felt that if I could get good customer service just applying for it or seeing if I wanted it, then it probably would be okay.
I went ahead and said yes at first. And then a week later, I said that I didn't need the extra bill. My warranty wasn't going to be over until six months so I called to cancel with Endurance The person I spoke to, Josh, went and talked with his superior, and they decreased the amount with the same coverage. So I said okay and that I would try it, and if it didn't work then I would just stop it. Josh was so accommodating, I just couldn't say no. When I went to get an oil change at Honda, they talked with me about it, but theirs was a lot more expensive, and I really was not impressed with how they presented it. So, I said no for Honda. And then, immediately Endurance contacted me. So, it was really kinda like a no-brainer. Everything was just amazing and I so appreciated it.

I liked the fact that there wasn’t so many layers to go through with Endurance. I was very bothered by other companies' approaches, and I found that the more people that have their hand in the pot, the less food there is for everyone else. With our situation, putting our second kid through college, me being disabled, we having an older car and just for the sense of safety, we wanted to carry the warranty. I thought five years at that price was a bargain versus what the other companies were trying to sell.
My experience with the rep went really well. I had a table full of medical bills and everything, but was able to get the information. He was clear as to what was needed. I was able to get it to him. He did respond to questions. He brought the price down to an area that I thought was fair. All in all we were impressed with the presentation. Assuming that what was told to me is honored, I don’t foresee any problems. I'm still in the probationary period of the two months and 1,000 miles. There's something coming but I figured that they're waiting for the policy to kick in before they send it. I also got a copy recently in the mail.
I'm one of those rare people that actually takes good care of his car. I've had the car from day one. But up to this point, the convinced me that Endurance was the best deal, and I didn’t feel like he was lying or trying to rip me off. I did not feel pressured. The facts spoke for themselves. The main appeal was the honesty that, "We are the insurance company and you're not gonna get a hassle." That's important. I would not have done it if I thought they were gonna give me a headache.
Everything's covered and there's the $100-deductible on parts. I told him I've always had the dealer do my car. He explained that the dealer could do the work, but the only condition was when the car is towed in, the dealer needs to contact Endurance soon so they can get involved in the process. That all sounds good to me and that's what I wanted. I want to be able to use the dealer. They also said they would fix anything that needed to be fixed. What was promised to this point has been delivered. I also did check the brand name and it is known. I would recommend Endurance and have. I've spoken to two people so they're considering it and they asked me questions. They were concerned too, and I explained to them. Endurance was very good at explaining what the other companies I was looking for do.

Driveline broke damaging transmission cooler. Warranty does not cover drive lines or cooler lines. Ok that’s understandable. What’s not understandable or acceptable is the adjusters disqualifying the transmission repairs by claiming that the damage was caused by a lack of fluid (well yeah that’s what happens when there’s an incident that breaks the cooler lines). When asked point blank if the engine would be covered if the drain plug fell out after going to a service center for an oil change, was told, "No the engine would not be covered." This company is all about taking your money and refusing to perform any repairs due to their policies which refuse to cover anything that has to do with fluid loss. Do not waste your money with this outfit.

My brother has had horrible luck with cars, and I don’t wanna find myself in the position where he was left without a car for almost six months. So, it got me thinking of getting another warranty. When I called around, I tried to get as much information I can from anything before I make a decision. It seemed to be that Endurance was higher rated than most people. Endurance answered all my questions. They were not in a rush to getting off the phone, and they were so very helpful with all my concerns and thoughts. It was very easy to make phone calls and talk to people. I didn’t have to wait forever to talk to somebody. Also, I get my bills on time. But making the first payment was confusing. The online account that I pay through is not an Endurance site. It is a third-party site that takes payments for them. It made me sit back and think about it for a second. But once I understood that it wasn’t Endurance I was paying, I was completely fine.

And I have three vehicles with them. So, they're okay. And it will be all right. The amount is not a problem. It's that if they can produce what they say they are and will follow what they print in their brochures. 'Cause you some companies that do not.

Because of the type of car that I was purchasing and the length of time that I planned on keeping it, I decided to look into getting an extended warranty. But when I called around, it was hard to find someone that would cover it in the state of Florida. When I dealt with Endurance, I was quite pleased that I really didn't have to ask too many questions as far as what I needed to do if anything happens or where I could take the car because the rep explained to me that I could take it either to the dealer or to a certified ASE mechanic. They also explained to me everything that I would be responsible for and everything that's covered under the warranty. They were very informative.
The payment is automatically deducted from my bank account so that's quite easy. The one thing I did have an issue with is when I downloaded the Endurance app, I wasn't able to actually register my account information online. It may have been due to the fact that I hadn't gotten through the 30-day free look period. But that was about the only problem that I had. Overall, I was pleased with my experience with them.

I am very unhappy and disappointed about the claims service that I am receiving for my current repair. My vehicle is being repaired at Kings Nissan in Brooklyn, NY and the repair claim includes Lower Control Arms, Rear Stabilizer Bushings, Rotors & Brake Pads and Two New Tires ALL required due to the lower control arm failure which caused the other components to breakdown.
I took my car in for servicing on Tuesday, May 21st at approximately 6:30 am and due to Endurance’s requirement to provide cheaper parts for the repair, my vehicle has sat at the dealership waiting for repair 3 days while awaiting shipment of cheaper aftermarket parts. When I called in with my concerns I was advised that payment for parts are at the discretion of the Administrator aka Adjustor in regards to aftermarket, re-manufactured or used parts. My car has all manufacturer parts on it and I DO NOT WANT aftermarket, re-manufactured or used parts on my vehicle just because Endurance decides to penny pinch my repair.
Your claims process is not transparent and any decision to require after market, re-manufactured or used parts should be shared with this customer. Not doing so gives the customer the impression that their vehicle and its value is not much of importance to your company and that greatly lowering claims costs trump the quality and value of the vehicle.
I purchased the Supreme Plan warranty on 04/08/2019, 4 days after I purchased my new/used vehicle for $189 down and $99 a month. I received the stipulations of the contract AFTER purchasing the warranty and have realized that the so called “quality service” and the warranty IS NOT as advertised. I can’t just go to a licensed mechanic for a repair and it’s “as simple as that”. The process of filing claims is tedious, time consuming and non-transparent to the customer, being told that my service manager is required to go over all of the stipulations of the warranty in regards to what is covered and what is not.
Why does my Adjustor get to hide behind customer service when this person makes the decisions about what happens to my vehicle? Why can I not negotiate what is paid towards my vehicle and what parts I prefer to use? Yes, I understand that we all want to save on cost of repair BUT I would like to be able to determine how my policy pay-out is used as well. If my repairs cost $1500 this time then inform me of the balance remaining of my Max Pay Out and let me decide how I want to use whatever balance remains in regards to future claims.
Purchasing this warranty was a waste of my time and money which your company has also included as a clause about not being responsible nor caring about that either. Once this claim settled I will make it my business to opt-out of this warranty, as it does not suit the type of service nor value that I prefer for my vehicle. Thank you for wasting my time, money and not providing me the quality service that I deserve.

I went online and Endurance seemed to be the best warranty. To get the process started, it took longer than I thought it would. I contacted a number off the internet and they sent me to somebody else. I then proceeded to purchase the extended warranty and it took a week before I even got any information on it. I was calling and asking. I had already given them my credit card information and I had already paid a down payment. That kinda turned me off. I started to call and cancel it, but I didn’t because my other warranty was running out. I just wanted my wife’s car to be covered. Other than that, I would have cancelled.
Also, I didn’t really look into the co-pay part but I should have. The co-pay is twice as much than what I've been paying. I'm used to paying $50 and Endurance is at $100. Overall, I'm not that dissatisfied because I went ahead and purchased the warranty. I just past the introductory 1,000 mileage and thankfully nothing has happened.

I can't afford to be paying if my automobile breaks down. When I bought the car, I was thinking the plan was due May and it was in April. But when I went to look it up, it had already expired. The money amount, if added up, would become a four-year plan. But with Endurance, I got five years out of it. So I stuck with it. The total was $4,000. You could do the payments over the phone. I can go online as well. They actually set it up for a first payment on a later date.
I had done the auto quote online and Endurance came up as the best suited warranty company. The rep I dealt with was also informative, clear and understanding. He answered any questions that I needed answered. But I found out I didn’t get any information in the mail. Everything is done online and they were trying to forward my policy and the warranty information online. But for some reason, it would never go forward to my email. They kept saying it was going through on their end but it was never showing up on my email. I called about four times and I finally used my daughter’s email address. She got it then she forward it to my email address.
I also called them on a Sunday once and they were closed. I didn’t understand that because most companies are open. They have a 24-hour customer service. So that was shocking and disappointing to me. Part of my information that I had to print out was a 24/7 roadside assistance. But if I had any other questions, I had to do it Monday through Saturday. In a company like this, they should have somebody for questions 24/7, not just a roadside assistance. Nonetheless, my experience has been good so far.

I had an auto warranty with Endurance before and it worked out really well. But I didn’t transfer it to my next vehicle, so I sold it back for what was left and they sent me what money was left in the deal. Now I got an older truck but it doesn’t have many miles on it. So I thought I’d try having a warranty again and I decided to still go with Endurance.
Their reps sucked and they weren’t very nice. I’ve already paid my 179 then the payments got broke down to $88 a month for 36 months. I’m into my second month on automatic payment now then they told me that I had to have another oil change within 30 days of the policy. And they want to re-verify the mileage, which will change from the time that they called and they won’t take “No” for an answer. I could’ve been a good trooper and just went out, got the actual miles on that day, and prove to them that I just had an oil change not less than 30 days ago. But I ain’t about to waste money and have another perfectly good oil change that’s set by Endurance. What difference does it make whether I have an oil change or not when you’re not really asking me the whole package of how my truck’s doing mechanically? And I’m lucky that my truck's condition is very sound and it's probably gonna be the last truck I'll have.
I went around a few times with their reps on these issues. I talked to about three different people and with all three of them, I almost cancelled. I’m on a 60-day period where you can’t have any transactions and that’s okay. It’s to make sure you’re not getting some pre-existing condition. But in my case, there’s nothing really wrong with my truck. So I’m just burning out that time. I’m paying my premiums ‘til that happens then hopefully, time will pass and you won’t even know the difference whether I’m covered or not for if something goes wrong, which I probably will be.
And for me, it’s pretty lucky because I got a certified mechanic right here in my hometown where I’ve had most of my service done in my vehicles most of my life. So I don’t have to go very far, depending on where I break down, unless it’s critical and needs to be fixed right now. And as far as what Endurance's policy offers a rental car or the place I go would let me borrow a car if I did the work right there.
But I’m not about to go be pushed around about it just to dot an I or a T there. They could be doing that every couple of weeks or every couple of months. And I’m supposed to keep track of my service that I do on my vehicle, which most people don’t do but I do. I keep track of my oil change, so the place that does my work if I have any work done has a record available to prove it. I’ve had quite a few new things on it. I’ve had a new brand-new battery put in not very long ago and I have four new tires that I’m still paying for. But what we paid off has nothing to do with what we’re talking about as far as insurance goes. These are things that I had to keep up with anyway, like down the windshield wipers and a lot of that stuff.
But overall, I’m not really satisfied even yet and Endurance's reps ought to believe what you tell them the first time. I had a pretty hefty talk to where I was almost gonna hang up on the last rep I talked to. I was setting to cancel and telling him to send me my money back. I wouldn’t have got it, but I thought it would at least help me that I was a prior customer. I’ve had Endurance for a few years and I didn’t even burn the whole amount off of three thousand and some bucks.
So far, I got the Ts crossed but I doubt it a little bit. Hopefully I don’t have to use the warranty because it sounds good on paper and verbally, but until you actually exercise some of these deals that you’re supposed to be getting credit for or fixed, you will never know. It's pretty cool to just pay a hundred bucks upfront to my mechanic or the dealership itself and they’ll take care of the rest. But at this time, my experience with them has not been very well and I hope somebody hears about what happened because the damage was already done.

I ran out of the warranty for Hyundai and with the contract that I filed with them originally, I had to sign for it right then and there in order to get the 10 years. But I did the five years. I tried to look for other legitimate warranty companies. I tried to seek for something that was full coverage from bumper to bumper and had reasonable prices. After doing some research here and there, I found Endurance to be the most reliable. I asked around from a few family and friends and they also went ahead and said that Endurance was pretty good.
Endurance worked with me on a great payment plan. The coverage was gonna be a lot longer than what I thought it was gonna be so it came out to be pretty good. I spoke with Anastasio and another gentleman. They helped me out with a lot of information regarding the insurance itself – what it would cover and in regard to my position. They were very flexible and very patient with me.
I mainly spoke with Anastasio and he sold me out a lot. When I called and spoke with him, it was originally a few months ago. I was going through a little bit of a financial sort so I couldn’t sign on for the great price he was offering me at that point in time. I waited three months until we finally got everything situated and my wife and I could go ahead and comfortably afford the warranty.

There was one more company I would’ve got everything covered for the amount that I have on my car. It was another company that was cheaper and they claimed that they cover everything. But sometimes, when you go with those companies, they have problems paying the company that you took your car to when the time comes. So, I still went with Endurance. It was good purchasing the warranty from Endurance and so far, it has been alright. They gave me 30 days to try it out and on the 30th day, they took the money out. So, I called and said that they should have done that the next day because I could still decide on that day if I don’t want it, being the last day. I was online looking for an aftermarket warranty and the first thing that popped up was Endurance, which has a pretty good rating. The rep said that I take my car to the dealer of my choice and they'll make sure that the car got the warranty. The dealer fixes it, they contact Endurance and I pay a $100 deductible. My brother has a car warranty and really likes it. Endurance is the company that he uses. After doing research, we originally wanted to get our car warranty through USAA but they no longer offered the warranty we wanted. We went with Endurance and I worked with a great sales guy who was very patient with me over the course of a couple of weeks as we were looking into the warranty and purchasing a car. I told him when it was probably gonna be done and the transaction’s gonna be complete. He stayed on me not in a nagging way and for that I am really appreciative.
When we finally purchased the warranty with him, he had to transfer me to another person within his company to basically confirm everything and check all the boxes to make sure that the sales guy did his job and there wasn’t a gap. That however, was an annoying additional step as it was like redoing what I had already done. Nevertheless, the cost of the warranty was great. For the price we paid, there was another company that was priced at $4,000 for a similar plan and for this one we paid 2,700. We got one of the better plans that covers everything. Endurance's rep gave me an incredibly thorough list of the mechanics, the computer side of things as well as the engine parts that are covered.

Any kind of modification, they are not gonna entertain. I have a sports car and everybody does some kind of modification to that. I just put on performance wheels and they are not even allowing wheels to be there. I let go the insurance and I’m not with them anymore. I will not recommend their product because if they cannot even include wheels in the car, then what is the point of even having a car? Nobody keeps their car factory.

The two companies that stood out the most other than the Ford warranty, which I thought was ridiculously outrageous, were CARCHEX and Endurance. I got Endurance to send me a copy of the contract and I had a friend of mine who works as a web guy at Ford who used to be a service manager, and he read the whole contract and said it was a pretty decent deal. There were a few reps that I had to speak to, and one sent me an email with her personal number. I had some questions to ask her and the phone rang off the hook. I tried the next day, the next day and the next day. I finally ended up calling the 800 number again and talking to someone else, trying to dial in exactly what they were gonna offer me and what I'm willing to pay.
The only thing I don’t like about the experience with Endurance is they only tell you it's a 30-day wait until you start hooking up with them to buy their product, and it's 30 days and 1,000 miles. So, I have to put 1,000 miles on my car even if it's outside of 30 days. That was really important because I had no problem giving my actual mileage, but after you're all locked in, they say it's 30 days or 1,000 miles, and it's gonna be 1,000 miles even if it goes 60 days. That to me is ridiculous.
The other catch is you have to wait 30 days to see if you like the product to get your money back. How can I test their product out in 30 days if I can't use the contract for 30 days or 1,000 miles? They should at least give 60 days because that gives me 30 days of my wait and then 30 days of actually seeing if I'd have to use it. They need to be a little more conscientious of telling me everything. I still haven't received the hard copy of my contract, and it's funny because I even put $1,500 cash down on the deal instead of the normal $200 to see if that would help lessen the blow.

I have 135,000 miles on my car. It has been in great condition but then my factory warranty from my dealership expired. Since I'd rather have my car insured and taken care of, I decided to purchase a service contract for it. Previously, I had Blue Shield and there were a lot of loopholes in their contract. I had to find that out the hard way. When I spoke with Endurance's rep, she told me that it was either 1,000 miles or two months before my car could get service. That was the only loophole with them and which was what I didn't like about their warranty. I've barely gotten back from a vacation trip and over the last month, I've been driving my car. It's more of a vacation car for me. 'Cause I've already been to the East Coast and the West Coast and that used vehicle has done me really well. I've had no major services and nothing done to it. It was just a typical oil change and transmission.
I noticed that my car was hesitating this weekend. So, I called Endurance's warranty department and the guy said that they'll take it to the dealership. I asked him to tell me what's on my policy and told him that a rep had previously told me that I needed over 1,000 miles or 60 days waiting period. The guy whom I was speaking with at the time said that I was still in the waiting period. I said "Okay" and told him that my car had 134,010 and now it's at 135,500. He asked me if I checked my warranty but then when I called him, I wanted to know if I was past the waiting period. He then informed me that he didn't know how many miles I had on my car. That's what gets me. They tell me one thing and then when I purchase the contract, it's totally different.
I'm past my thousand miles already and I'm over my first month. The rep then replied by saying that the requirement was two months and a thousand miles. This is why I quit messing with Blue Shield. They paint a pretty picture but before I know it, they don't wanna cover anything at all. When I looked up Endurance, they were rated high up there with a couple of other companies. However, when I called in to see what my warranty was, the guy gave me a totally different one. He then told me that I needed to call customer service. That time, I needed to know if I take my car to the dealership, whether Endurance would cover it or not.
I hate getting the runaround. I'm paying on a month to month basis and stuff and they're quick to take your money. But with them, there are always loopholes somewhere, and that's the problem I've felt with the other warranty companies. With Endurance, we had the opportunity to use it or go into it more. What ended up happening is I had to do the full work on my contract instead of the representative online being more helpful.

They needed to replace a whole bunch of different parts, not just the pads and the rotors. I went and looked at my policy. I have the PDF file on my phone, so I opened it. I found the section on brakes and it said it covered things other than the pads and rotors. I thought it was great and that would knock off at least $200. The price seemed like a good one for whatever the length of term is. The last car I owned was a 2005 Honda Pilot. It had 160,000 miles on it so it wasn't driven all that much. I figured that I'd go ahead and insure this one, especially since it's all electronic now and it has a keyless entry. The more I started thinking, 20 years ago, I could go under the hood and do whatever. Today, I can't do anything. If anything happens, then it's under warranty.
I was explaining to the gentleman that spoke with me that the car was under warranty by the manufacturer and I needed something after that. I told him I was gonna wait 'til the 35th month or with the mileage. He asked me if I really wanted to do that. He said if I did that, what was $2,000 would be 4. He was giving me a figure. It was gonna be more expensive later on so I said, "Okay. Let's go ahead and do it now." He was very nice and gave me all the options. He was very knowledgeable. Any questions that I had was answered and I was quite happy. Making payments is also simple. It's all done with a credit card. I made a down payment and then everything is taken out automatically for the three years. There's no interest so that worked.

I told myself I won't be paying that kind of money for a warranty. So, I started looking around online to see what the best deal is. I did the reviews and Endurance came up the best, and the price was right. They came up like aces all the way across the board. A lot of other companies had a zero deductible, but if you read on, it's not what it says. I don't mind paying any deductible for anything. It is what it is. Actually, the deductible added legitimacy to Endurance's policy.
I called the dealers and see if they were accepting Endurance without any problems. They said they did. I wanted to protect my investment. It was all Chevy parts 'cause my Vette is bone stock. I haven't touched it and I won't touch it. It's pristine. I don't drive it that often so I only have 2,400 miles on it. I don't put miles on my car. If I drove every day for the next two years, I still wouldn't have all that many miles on it.
The reps at Endurance answered all my questions. They were spot on and it was an enjoyable experience. I like talking to people that know what they're talking about and the product that they're selling no matter it is. I'm very happy with Endurance so far. I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee and I'm gonna buy a warranty from Endurance, too. I definitely want it insured. I'll probably never need the warranty but it's like anything else. It's like a seat belt. Everything that I've got through Endurance covered everything, and a $100 deductible. But I'm still waiting for something in the mail that explains everything that is covered. It has been over a couple of weeks and I have received absolutely nothing. I don't have any proof. So that's kinda dis-concerning that Endurance will cover anything right now. And in a month from now when I am under the coverage and if something happens, I don't have anything.

I looked up Endurance on the internet and they contacted me right afterwards. I had a really good experience with their representative except that I wasn't signed up until three weeks after my first initial appointment. Then, when I was trying to get logged into my account, I couldn't log in and I kept being told that I wasn't anywhere. I called customer service for 4 different times and was kept being told to wait and that it takes 3 to 4 days. But it took me emailing them for it to be handled. On the other hand, making the payments was easy too as I have autopay set up.

I called Endurance and a few other companies. They were a little bit too high. I was gonna go to my bank and they had to refinance to do that. So, I was crossing my fingers and hope that nothing happened to the truck. And then a manager from Endurance called me and made me an offer that would fit my budget. He explained a lot of things to me. He was great. I'm gonna give him a call this week sometime, and find out exactly where my mileage starts off for the thousand miles. I haven't had the chance to use the warranty, which hopefully I don't. I'm just meeting my criteria of 60 days and 1,000 miles. But so far, so good.

My warranty on my vehicle has expired, so I needed a warranty. The person I spoke with from Endurance when I signed up was very informative and very professional. And I like the way she conducted the whole process. She wasn't pushy. She presented what Endurance offered, and it was pretty much the same as the other companies, but not as expensive. Even though it's a longer term, it met my budget.
Endurance actually gave me a better rate. And I'm hoping that it'd be a good experience if I ever have to use it. Because the people that I had originally signed up with, prior to signing up with Endurance, I called them and cancelled. And they were doing everything in their power to sway me back to them by feeding me negative information in regards to Endurance. I hope that the things that he said does not come to fruition if I ever have to use it. I don't like when people do that. I know it's a competitive market, but you should never try to sway people back to you by saying negative things about your competitor.
I'm happy with the experience I've had thus far with Endurance. There was one thing that I noticed that was different though. They told me I would have to call every month to make the payment. I had called in and make the payments 'cause I couldn’t go online to make them. But I got the packet in the mail, and it says that they automatically charge it to the card that I applied with. I'm okay with them putting it on the card. I just thought that I will be making the payment myself.

Endurance wasn't able to contact a tow truck for me because I was in my two-months waiting period. I’ve got an old ’13 pickup with 95,000 miles on it, and when my original warranty ran out, I got one through Ford Motor. And now, that’s gonna be running out shortly. I’m 73 now, I have big repair bills, so I was looking for something which would give me some coverage. I checked around, and the other plans would give me maybe two or three years, but not with everything, just basic stuff. I was looking for different things. I found somebody which was promising me five years plus 100,000, so I would have been guaranteed all the way through bumper-to-bumper. I checked with the Better Business Bureau, and they’re not real high on the list, but there were satisfactory customers. So, I went online, and I put on, “Top people for warranty work on pickups,” and Endurance came in there. So, I gave them a call.
I’m happy with the price I got. I told them I was in service and what my age was, so they allowed me some discounts, which I really appreciated. And right now, I gotta wait 60 days or 1,000 miles before everything clears out, which is fine because my other insurance warranty work lasts till 100,000 miles, and that won’t expire until about September. So, I’m in good shape with that. And then if I would wanna sell my pickup even after I paid a premium up to the five years or 185,000 miles, it would transfer with the pickup. The rep explained it very well.
The guy I worked with was Marcelo and he was really, really good. He talked where I could understand, and not high-pressured. When I got a different bill, the rep told me that it was before they started making all these changes. So, he took care of that for me, and it was great. Endurance's rating is good, and the people were good to work with. As far as the sale process, they are high on my list.

However, filing a claim took a little bit because I had to have the dealership call them and it was a nightmare to work with. The dealership would call and they wouldn't answer. And when the dealership tried to call them back, there was a lunch break. So, it took a little longer than expected.
Once the dealership got a hold of Endurance, it wasn't the answer I was looking for since they denied the claim. I had no idea that the dealership where I bought the vehicle from originally changed something in the truck and they didn't properly put it back. Endurance had to look up all the service records and it came back that the part got moved in a certain service so they're considering that as a pre-existing condition. The sales people will lie just to get your business, then leave you hanging for days when you have a claim. These people only want your money. They will make you jump thru SO many hoops if you have a claim. NOT worth the hassle and they are counting on you to just get frustrated and give up. They leave you sit with a broken down vehicle. Always check with your dealership or repair shop before wasting your money on a Auto Warranty. Make sure you ask LOTS of questions and READ the contract VERY thoroughly. He really took time to understand what I really needed and he presented me with the description of the plan very nicely to make sure that I understood what I was going to purchase. He even talked to his supervisor to give me some credit because I still have the manufacturer warranty available. And I also found out that he works right across from my headquarter in Chicago.
The price of the Endurance auto warranty is competitive in comparison to others. I got some discounts from talking to the rep and his supervisor, and it turned out to be a very good deal for me. The coverage is comparable to others but what really makes it different for anyone to purchase their policy is all about customer service. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to expand on my recent experience with Endurance Vehicle Warranty Services. My last review with Consumer Affairs ended with me being optimistic about Endurance and their process. However, I received a really harsh wake-up call in dealing with Endurance. After the inspector "inspected" my vehicle, he deemed that due to continued operations the claim was denied. On 3/28, as I was backing into my parking space at work a "Service 4WD" alarm popped on my dash. I turned the vehicle off, and turned it back on again and the alarm had cleared. I went into work, hopped online and booked an appointment with the Jeep dealership for their last slot at 3:30pm. The dealership is only 0.8 miles from my job.
After work, I started the vehicle and there was NOT an alarm present. I drove the 0.8 miles alarm-free. The dealership ran a diagnostic and found that it could be the Module Transfer Case Module or the Transfer Case Assembly itself. Endurance approved the Module TC, but that did not fix it, which left my vehicle stuck in 4WD Low and essentially non-drivable. However, they did not approve the Transfer Case Assembly which is what prompted the inspector to be called out to verify. His determination... I drove the vehicle, "continued operation", and because of doing so, they denied my claim based on the exclusions in section D of their handbook.
I argued that I did everything by the book, but they did not want to hear it! I advised Endurance that the alarm came on once as I was backing into my parking space. I advised that I turned the car on and off before getting out of the vehicle, and the alarm remained off! I advised, I immediately made an appointment for that same day. I advised, the alarm did not appear again when I started the vehicle and while I was driving the 0.8 miles to the Jeep dealership. I advised that it was a service "WARNING" light, not an Alarm.
In addition, if it were a critical alarm, it was have come back on as soon as I started up the vehicle and most certainly come on as I was driving to Jeep's facility! Endurance did not care! They stuck by the guns of their inspector who deemed the transfer case was faulty because I drove it "WHILE THE ALARM WAS PRESENT"! I DID NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE WHILE THE ALARM WAS PRESENT!! The mere fact that the Jeep Dealership can prove that did not make them reverse their decision. I advised that jeep did a diagnostic test and only 1 CODE ALARM was in the system!!! If there were multiple alarms, no matter how far back, they would have been stored in the system. YET THERE WAS ONLY ONE ALARM, THE ONE THAT POPPED AS I WAS BACKING INTO MY PARKING SPACE ON 3/28!
Endurance did not CARE... They did not want to deviate from the fact that my drive of 0.8 miles caused the Transfer Case to fail. Here is what Section D of their Handbook states: "For any Breakdown caused by sludge build-up resulting from your failure to perform recommended maintenance services, or failure to maintain proper levels of lubricants and/or coolants, or failure to protect your vehicle from further damage when a Breakdown has occurred or failure to have your vehicle towed to the service facility when continued operation may result in further damage. Continued operation includes your failure to observe warning lights, gauges, or any other signs of overheating or component failure, such as fluid leakage, slipping, knocking, or smoking and not protecting your vehicle by continuing to drive creating damage beyond the initial failure, Lack of mechanical knowledge is not an excuse for continued operation".
There is nothing in Section D that I violated. However, they see it as the driving of my vehicle for 0.8 miles WITH NO ALARMS PRESENT violates the contract. I expressed to Endurance over and over that the warning popped on as I was parking! I also expressed that the "Service 4WD " does not mean there's an alarm or something wrong as there was no SLIPPING, OVERHEATING, COMPONENT FAILURES, KNOCKING, FLUID LEAKAGE OR SMOKING! IT WAS A WARNING LIGHT... I've had the car for over a year, it could have been warning me that the fluid is low! I followed up by stating all vehicles give warnings... "CHECK ENGINE SOON", "OIL CHANGE SOON", "FLUID LEVEL LOW". There was no indication my vehicle was operating in a manner that deserved my immediate attention, and if there was, I surely would have addressed the issue.
Endurance made a snap decision to deny my claim with no proof. They didn't want to hear my side, they only cared about what the inspector stated about my vehicle. "I have the Supreme coverage, so how could the claim be denied based only on what the inspector says," I asked. The manager, Art **, argued with me for over an hour on multiple days. He even stated that the inspector said that both the Jeep technician and the Service advisor agreed that because I drove the vehicle 0.8 miles is why the part failed and they will not pay out the claim. I spoke to my service advisor and the technician at Jeep, and they both stated they never stated anything of the sort, nor did they agree with the inspector. They actually told the inspector that my driving 0.8 miles did not cause the failure. They simply stated, "the part just failed, that's what parts do".
As of today, 4/16, Endurance still has not paid Jeep for the use of my rental car. I have spoke to numerous representatives over at Endurance since 4/1/2019. Most of them were rude and short with me on the phone, but not all. They tried to smooth things over by offering to forgo my next month's payment and knocking $200 off of my contract price. They all also tried to steer me towards a less expensive service facility such as AAMCO, by stating, "Jeep's parts are very expensive, and you could have had the vehicle repaired for half of what Jeep charges if you had taken it there first." So to me, that sounds like it's all about the money! Yet Endurance is the one who states in their promos and their sales pitches that you can take your vehicle anywhere you want as long as they are certified. It's not TRUE!
As stated, I spoke with one of the manager's, Art **, extensively. He kept repeating the same ole thing over and over about the Exclusions in Section D, which in my opinion, does not apply to my vehicle. Endurance allows you to keep a rental for a max of 5 days. I had a rental for 7 days. The reason why, is due to the fact that Art was supposed to be taking my complaint up the chain to try and see if the claim could be reviewed and ultimately reversed. At least this is what he told me he was doing, but I didn't buy it! My vehicle went in on 3/28. The inspector arrive on site to look at my vehicle on Monday 4/1. He turned his report in on Tuesday 4/2. Already that is 5 days! Endurance did not even call me to tell me that they denied the claim! I had to call them to find out!
At that point, I spoke with a number of representatives who all pretty much gave me the, "Oh I'm so sorry, sir. I really wish there was something I could do for you" line. I asked to speak with a manager, and that's when I started speaking with Art. I spoke with him on Tuesday 4/2 around 4:30 pm, and at the end of our conversation, he had the nerve to send me a link to LKQ Parts as a courtesy to help me find the part for a cheaper price! He then told me he was going to take my case up to the next level and he would get back to me on Wednesday. HE NEVER DID!!! I called Endurance all day long on Wednesday asking to speak with Art. All the reps kept saying, "Oh, I can see him on the phone. I'll shoot him a message to let him know to call you." It never happened...
I called Endurance again on Thursday 4/4 all day long and heard the same thing over and over. Finally around 4:20 pm, Art called me back... He stated how busy he was all day, and apologized for getting back to me so late! (THAT WOULD BE A WHOLE DAY LATE). He went on to state that he talked to the "people" who renders these decisions, but that they are still sticking to the decision of denied! I question Art about whether or not he had even talk to anyone. One of the reasons why I questioned him is due to the fact that he actually requested my service vehicle report (from my recent vehicle maintenance from where I bought my vehicle in which they inspected everything) on Tuesday during our conversation, which I immediately emailed to him when I arrived home.
When I asked him during our conversation on Thursday about the service records I sent over to him, he replied, "what records"? At that point I knew he did nothing to try and help me as he claimed! At the end of our conversation on Thursday, as I just finished blasting him and Endurance for being a horrible company with horrible customer service, he stated to me once again, that he would take my case to his supervisor, Ryan **. During my conversation with Art, I asked over and over to speak with his supervisor, but he refused to put me through!
I advised Art, "I just don't trust you to go into an office full of Endurance personnel who denied my claim, and go to bat for me." I asked him, "Are you really going to go in there and fight for me"? He stated, "Most definitely!" I said, "Okay Art, tell me what you're going to do in there and say on my behalf. Give me an example of what you will say to your superiors about me that will get them thinking?" He stated he would tell them everything I blasted him with... He stated he would play the "company's recording" of our conversation so that they could hear the points I was making. I chuckled at Art! I advise him, "Do you really think I believe that for a moment?" I advised, he didn't even remember to check his email for the documents he requested from me, in addition to his not calling me back!
I tracked Art down on Friday 4/5, of course he told me how busy he was all day long and apologized yet again for getting back to me so late in the day. He commenced to give me the FINAL verdict that the denial would remain denied! He then offered to help me with some information if I had the time and was willing to listen. I agreed, and he stated he would call me on Tuesday 4/9. He even stated he was putting it in his calendar to call me. Well, I did not hear from Art until today, 4/16! Keep in mind, during my conversation with Art and the rest of the representatives all throughout this time, I kept reminding them all that I still have a rental car beyond the 5 days.
At the time I was speaking with Art on Thursday 4/4, I continued to remind him that my rental is now at 7 days. They continued to assure me that it would be covered. I continued to remind them I still have this rental because Art has stated he is taking my case to the next level for a final decision. Now, here I am on 4/16, and I received a call from both Enterprise and Jeep stating that I still owe $150 on the rental car as it has not been paid! I emailed Art a copy of the invoice from Jeep on 4/8. Jeep informed me that Endurance boldly told them, that "they are not paying it". So, I had that conversation with Endurance today! Basically they are squabbling over paying $150! Art says, they can't go against what it states in the claim contract... 5 days is the max. It's so frustrating because it seems as though they have no recollection of previous conversations, and this is a manager apparently!
Also, during my conversation with Art today, I asked him whatever happened to the call he was going to give me on 4/9 to offer some help and advice. He stated how busy he was, and that his girlfriend has been in the hospital as to why he did not get back to me! WOW, the ole sentimental excuse using his girlfriend. However, he's back at work now... He should have received a reminder of some sort about our "schedule conversation", if indeed he actually put it in his calendar! It really is a shame that a company WOULD not honor what they supposedly stand for and do what they state they are going to do...
As I mentioned in my previous review, I did my research for 3+ days and had extensive conversations with Fritz ** of Endurance. He is a salesman, but he wasn't overpowering with his technique. However, he seems to be a fraud as well! He stated he was a man of his word because he served our country. Sadly, he is now a salesman and no longer a service-man. He too has not even called me back! I know this review is long, but it needs to be put out there for the next person, so they are not duped into buying into a farce! I hope Consumer Affairs will post the entire review, people need to be able to read it if they want to. Yet, I will not stop at Consumer Affairs, I will upload this review to any and all media outlets!

I bought a new vehicle and it didn’t have a warranty on it. I saw that Endurance is highly rated as one of the more reputable aftermarket warranties in the market and also in terms of the ease of the claims and the number of dealerships they have in network. Filing a claim seemed like it would be easier through Endurance by just giving the dealership my card once I get there, which I thought was a big plus. The Endurance representative was good and he answered all my questions when I had any issues. So, my experience in signing up with Endurance was good. And with the setup of the payment plan as well as the payment of claims if there ever is a claim, it seemed like the claim process would not be that difficult considering I have all the paperwork. So, I just leave the paperwork in my car.

You can tell the 5 star reviews are fake, made up by employees or people paid to write them. The spelling and sentence structure are the same, there are no mistakes in spelling or grammar. They all say the thing or have same theme. If you really want to know how good the company is read the one and two stars reviews first.

My vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Avalanche and once they hit 150,000 miles, you start to experience a lot more mechanical problems, whether it is with the engine or the transmission. I was at 145,000 when I started looking for an auto warranty and I knew that I needed to get something so that I don’t have to pay out a big bill if and when something goes out. I saw a commercial about a company but when I looked them up on the internet, they had so many bad reviews and problems on claims that I decided against it. After I saw all those bad ratings on that one company, I kept looking and Endurance's name came up. I started doing my own research and the majority of reviews about Endurance were positive and people were not experiencing any problems with them. I called and I got a quote. I was satisfied with the quote and all the coverage that was provided, so I decided to sign up.
Their rep was very knowledgeable and he gave me a clear understanding of what was covered, what was not and when the policy starts because I had to wait for two months and 1,000 miles or 2,000 miles before I can make a claim. But everything is still working fine on the truck and I am not having any problems, so I am gonna use it whenever I need it. The only problem that I had was the last month’s bill because I got set up on autopay out of my debit card.
At the time that I signed up for the automatic withdrawals out of my account, the bank where I bank at sent a new card. It was the same account number, but they changed the expiration date. I didn’t call that in time for the automatic withdrawal, so the payment didn’t go through. I had to update the debit card information and everything is fine now. I called Endurance to verify that I am on schedule for tomorrow for a payment to come out because I was thinking about making it today myself manually. But when I started going through the computer to make the payment, it gave me a warning or a notice telling me that wanting to make a payment at that moment did not mean that it was gonna stop the automatic withdrawal. The automatic withdrawal is still gonna go through. So, I am not gonna make an extra payment and I am just gonna let it keep doing its automatic withdrawal.

I have been looking for a used car insurance for a while, ever since I bought my car. Endurance had the best ratings. I know some companies have those people that they pay people just to write certain things down and make it seem like the company is doing a really good job. But when I went through all those of Endurance some of them actually seem like from actual, real people. So I gave them a phone call, and after I called they were way better and more helpful.
There was one point where it took a minute for the rep to understand what I’m talking about. We were talking about other companies that we had and if I was just calling from another company. I was like, “No, no, no, I’m calling for my car. It’s what I’m calling for.” He was like, “Oh, okay.” So, there was a little bit of misunderstanding, but it was all right. It was pretty good. The coverage has been great so far, knowing that I gotta pay $100, and anything that’s gonna happen to my car, say if my engine fails or transmission goes out or anything like that, that’s gonna take care of that, and I don’t have to have my worries on that. My car is in a safe place.
The payment plan is cheap, affordable and it’s something that I can work on. And if I make sure I have money, it’s not hard because it’s only 60 something dollars a month. So it doesn't hurt me. I’m not frugal, but I like to save my money. I know it’s only $100 to fix anything in my car, when transmissions are over the $1000 and replacing the whole engine’s over two to three grand. It can get really expensive really fast. Having no worries in the background, that’s awesome.

I did a Google search for auto warranties and ConsumerAffairs showed up. I scrolled through and saw some good reviews on insurance. After that, I filled out a form and then Endurance Auto Warranty reached out. I talked to their rep and I signed up with them. Everything was good with the company. Their customer service and professionalism was great. They were pleasant to talk to and they dealt with me in going back and forth as far as pricing and options of the different levels of packages that they did have. They connected on a personal level. They tried to do the retention thing, which was fine, but they weren’t pushy about it. So, if I would ever need a warranty service, I would definitely reach back out.
The experience was fine but I wanted to go a different avenue, new performance modifications to my vehicle, and that wouldn’t be covered under the warranty. So, why pay if I'd still be paying money out of my pocket if the vehicle does break down? They have a 30-day zero cancellation deal but I cancelled before the 30-day thing. So, I was with them for 28 days.

A good friend who is my advocate has an automobile business. He searched the internet for an auto warranty for me. Endurance was well-rated and very competitive so I went with them for my 2014 GMC Terrain Denali. Getting the warranty went very smoothly and everything was set up very nicely. I spoke with a couple of people from Endurance. The first person made general comments and then Endurance and I got more specific as I talked to their next rep. I knew what I was getting into pretty well. They asked me to pay a certain amount down was somewhere between 5% and 10%. The balance could be paid out in one year, 12 monthly payments and with no interest, same as cash. I got a notice that my monthly amount is gonna start being taken out of my credit card until the warranty is paid off. That made me happy.
What I have is a two-year warranty and I have a $100 deductible on it. I'm in good shape. Before I bought the car, I went to my regular dealer. He did a thorough exam on it and found no problem. I feel really good about the car, it drives well, and I feel like if I do meet any problem and have any problem in the next couple of years, I'll be able to keep it in good shape. I looked into getting an auto warranty because of my previous experience with an auto warranty on another vehicle with the same make. The previous vehicle we had was a certified pre-owned that came with a factory-approved warranty versus one from a third party like Endurance. But this time, the vehicle we purchased didn't have a warranty and I decided to go with Endurance based on various feedback, consumer rating and consumer experiences. The process to purchase the warranty was easy and they answered my questions well.
What I got was pretty much a comprehensive, full-coverage type of package but I felt that the price was too high so I've actually cancelled it. I called the customer service line and told them what I felt. There was a little bit of feedback to try to keep me on as a customer but I was pretty well set that I was going to cancel it. They told me what I wanted to hear, they had great customer service on the phone and they were attentive. They called back and answered my questions professionally being that I've been with one company before and had some issues. So, they dealt with my skepticism, which was good.
Endurance was affordable for what I was looking for and they told me that if something was broken and it was a covered part, then everything along with it that malfunctioned would be covered as well. You could take it to the dealership and not have to worry about picking and choosing through what they're gonna fix and not gonna fix if something was broken. I had a previous warranty on a Jeep Rubicon that I purchased for my son, and we had an issue, and they kept denying the claim. They kept saying that nothing was wrong with it and it’s operational. I took it to the dealer again after they said it was operational, and they came out again and said everything’s fine. The problem is, it’s still broken. I canceled that warranty.
I wanted a warranty on the vehicle because it is a ’14 and I typed in, “Auto warranties,” trying to find a new auto warranty company. It was ConsumerAffairs’ reports that showed that Endurance was the number one rated warranty company. I called Endurance, talked to them and paid the price for the warranty. I haven’t taken the vehicle back in for the same issue to see if Endurance is gonna cover it. I keep getting a manual error when I take it to the dealership for them to try to fix it. I just haven’t pushed it to the warranty company, so I wanted to talk to Endurance about that.
I waited two months because we don’t drive that vehicle very often since it’s for my 15-year old son. We just drive it here and there. The Rubicon has what they call an auto-locking front sway bar and if that sway bar isn’t on, it gives you a lot of swing left and right. So, when it’s off, that means you can go four-wheeling. When it’s on, it’s supposed to be on for highway use, so it’s a little stiffer. The other company said it was working but the dealership said it was not. I say it’s not working, but when Endurance sent out their claims adjuster, he said it was working fine. When I picked it up after they said it was fine, the first bump I hit, it knocked it out of whack and stopped working. I was trying to call Endurance to talk to them. I wanted to ask if I can take it to a professional Jeep place that does Jeeps only or if I have to take it to a dealership to find out what’s going on.
The warranty explanation was fine when I bought it from Endurance but I didn’t like the hard sell. The salesman told me that the warranty normally costs $4,500, but if I did it now without researching more, he would drop it to $3,600. I said I had other companies I wanna talk to and try to find out what’s gonna be the best for me and my family. They said okay and I asked them if they had military or law enforcement discounts. The rep said he could drop it to $3,100 but I needed to do it on that day. I told him that I needed to research their company more but he said that the offer was only good if I did it right then. I would have 30 days to where I could get my full refund and cancel the policy. That was like a car salesman thing and that doesn’t make sense.
I understand that they’re all salesmen and they get a percentage of what they can get off of the total amount, but people do research nowadays. We wanna talk to them and as a salesman, they’re the front runner of the company. Even though they may not be the company, they’re selling the company. I don’t go for hard sales because then that tells me that there’s something sketchy. If you’re forcing me to do it now without letting me do my own personal research to make sure your company is actually an equitable company, then normally, I don’t go with it. Hard sale is disrespectful to the consumer. I haven’t had to do anything except pay my fee. I like the 0% financing on it. I’m assuming that even though Endurance did that, they probably have marked-in financing if you’re gonna do it over time, that’s why it costs so much. Still, it is a great option to where I don’t have to drop $3,100.

Getting an extended coverage sounded like a good idea and I could afford it. I was looking for a particular used car and I figured I needed the extended coverage since the car was used. I looked at reviews and people had some good things to say about Endurance Auto Warranty in terms of when they filed claims, they didn’t get any hassle. They paid for stuff as was agreed and everything went smoothly where other companies that I had looked at, there were a lot of reviews which said that people had to argue with them.
However, it was very evident that when I called in, it immediately turned into a sales call. It was about informing me about the product, but the rep was continually trying to like, "Okay, do you wanna buy now? Do you wanna buy now? How about right now?" There was a good, strong push. And there were these incentives, "Buy today. Pay in cash 100% upfront and do these certain things." I recognized what was going on. I had more questions and it was more like they wanted me to buy and they wanted to spend more time on just getting the sale done.
Also, the guy did some weird stuff to secure the sales. It ended up like he settled up some deal where it gave him $100 and reserved my discount for two months that I could cancel and get my $100. But if I decided to keep it, then I was fine. That got me the discount. I thought, "Okay, this guy just wants his numbers to say he made a sale." That was coming through to me and I was like, "Whatever man, take my $100." But the gentleman was willing to answer all of my questions and took the time to do that, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased from them.
Also, there were some things that they left out that I got to the fine print later. They sell you this coverage where they pay up to $12,000 for the vehicle in claims and that's what I purchased when I was sold the goods. When I got the contract and read through it, it actually says up to $12,000 but nothing exceeding the market value of the vehicle at the time the claim is made. So, if you buy a vehicle worth $8,000 and you're paying for this $12,000 of coverage that you were sold, you will only get $8,000 which is something that they didn’t really go over in the sales part. They shouldn’t do that because they sell you this number and you think, "Okay, I'm getting this much."
If you buy a $4,000 vehicle and you think, "Oh man, if the engine breaks and it's gonna cost all this money," and you bought a $12,000 warranty for coverage and then you go to make a claim and it's like, "Oh, where's the other $8,000 I paid for?" That's an interesting thing for them to have to deal with. It's certainly information that they leave out from people who buy the plan that inclusively covers more, but then they get stuck with this cap that's in the fine print that you find out about later that it could be much less, depending on the value of the vehicle. I didn’t feel good that they would not clarify that in the beginning. But given that the value of my vehicle is high enough, I'm not too worried about it. That part wasn’t cool. Everything else seemed standard.

I am furious!!! The clearly written 30 days is not really 30 days. It seems to be more like 45 to 60 days or all repair claims are considered pre-existence. Be aware of the fine print of the contract except there is no fine print. The 30 days is clearly listed and this is misleading. Should be illegal. For the payment, Endurance is taking the money monthly from my credit card. So, it's very easy. I called them one time to get a copy of the contract and it was really easy. It was like two minutes on the phone with the rep and I got the contract in the mail a couple of days ago. It was very professional.

People kept calling me saying the same thing - my warranty expired. How is it expired when I just got it? I had to call the manager and somebody else, Eddie, called me. He told me to let him know if somebody called me. He was gonna take my name off my list too so nobody would call me anymore. But the people still continued to call. I told them I was tired of them calling. Eddie said he was gonna straighten it out but I’m still getting calls. I got three letters this month saying how much my bill was. There was a problem with the date. It wasn’t difficult to make a payment with Endurance but the problem was people keep calling me and asking me for a payment. I was ready to cancel.

Having a warranty just eases my mind to know that if I break down, they’ll cover whatever the problem with the car is. Endurance caught my eye as I was looking online. I looked at the Better Business Bureau first and they had a pretty good rating and very few complaints. I signed up with them and it was great. They were very helpful and prompt. Where do I begin... I purchased my Endurance extended warranty for my vehicle a little over a year ago, unfortunately repairs on my vehicle required me to use it for the first time just about a month ago and it has been a complete nightmare from the very beginning. Starting with the roadside assistance taking anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. I enrolled for text messaging to be applied and an update and tracking of the vehicle. They never call, they show up when they are ready. I’ve had to make several calls just to locate the car. Endurance claims any licensed mechanic can tend to your car but my car has been to four shops in less than three weeks.
I’ve spent hours on the phone between my warranty and each mechanic the car has been to for days on end. I have been without a car for just about two weeks now with no genuine assistance from this company. I’ve exhausted my resources on how to get to work and the rental car was never provided because the claim was never approved, instead they bounced me from shop to shop. They denied the second mechanics diagnostics and insisted I take it to a different shop. My car sat there for about six days only to end with telling me that they couldn’t diagnose the problem. Keep driving the car they say, and if the light comes back on bring it back to the shop.
They have stalled on solutions, and the complete disregard for my situation, my time, and my vehicle have left me literally stranded and hopeless. If you’re looking for fast, efficient, and reliable customer service and or repairs... find someone else. Seems like they try and do everything to delay your process and deny any real help. I’ve never been more disappointed and defeated. Thumbs down to Endurance. I still have no car. I still have no solutions and it’s going on 2 weeks. Good Luck.

Endurance was supposedly the best. They told me one price and I signed up for that. But the following week, they sent me a revised cost that was with less money. I called them back and they said what I received was not from them and that it was a scam. What they said was full of baloney because what they did was they lowered my price per month, they lowered my initial deposit, and they upped my mileage from 75,000 to 100,000. This document came in the mail to me and Endurance knew everything about this information.
I told the woman I talked to that if the document I received was a scam, how would they know my name and vehicle number. Endurance was the only one that knew about those. They said I was gonna pay that price but I was gonna get a lower classification. I told them that the document didn't say "lower classification". It said the same type of advantages. But they wouldn’t even talk to me. Also, I was told there should be 30 days or 1,000 miles. But the contract came and it was 1,000 miles for two months or 60 days. Endurance has taken money out, but I won't have any coverage until April 28th.

It’s hard to figure out whether you're getting scammed when you're talking to someone over the phone, so I was trying to be cautious. The rep from Endurance was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and I got the feeling that everything was legitimate.
I made arrangements to have my payments debited electronically from my account each month, so it was easy to make payments for it. I called back one time after that to make sure that the payments were being automatically deducted because I was trying to figure out when I was supposed to make the payments. I couldn’t remember whether I was supposed to make the payment or whether that month’s payment. The time in between was enough to have everything go through with what automatically come out of my account. I haven't had any other interactions with the company since then but so far, my interactions have been very positive.

My factory warranty expired on a relatively new vehicle so I wanted to get the extra protection in the event something happens down the line. After long extensive conversations and research on my own through the Better Business Bureau and checking ratings, my choices came down to CARCHEX and Endurance. The process took over the course of two days going back and forth between the companies. I went with Endurance because CARCHEX goes through a third party whereas Endurance handles things themselves. My Endurance rep was Fritz and I had a long conversation with him. I asked him a lot of questions and he had a lot of answers. We did some negotiating too.
The whole purchasing process was pretty easy. I gave Endurance information for my vehicle and what I needed. They came up with a pretty good price. The prices were all kinda the same for all the ones that I checked. I looked into maybe seven of them. But with Endurance, the financing available ws a little bit better as far as my budget was concerned. Also, it was easy talking to someone that had the knowledge of it.
With these vehicles nowadays, everything is computerized so I was looking for something that would cover pretty much everything aside from the wear and tear, battery, brakes, oil changes, and stuff like that. I was looking for something that kinda gave me full coverage of everything that I would’ve had with my factory warranty. I’m past my grace period with Endurance and I’m coming up on two and a half months with them. I actually just put in a claim yesterday. I had an alarm pop up on my vehicle and I took my car in. So far, there was a part that needed to have their approval and Endurance approved it yesterday. But the part didn’t necessarily fix the issue. The dealership said they needed to put in another part. It was over a certain amount of money for Endurance and they had to have an inspector go out there.
I spoke to Endurance about that and asked why an inspector had to go out there if the part that was faulty was in my coverage. I was told that an inspector was going there as they just needed to verify that the dealership was not putting more unnecessary stuff that they shouldn't be putting. Other than that, it’s been a pretty good experience up to this point.

With a new car, there are so many electronics so repairs sound like they cost $100 just to go in for the engine light, even if it's nothing. So, we decided to get an auto warranty. Our dealer offered theirs but I wasn't really happy because they are a Ford Dealer and they wanted me to go to their dealerships. I wanted to be able to go wherever I wanted.
I worked with Endurance's rep and though he sounded busy a couple of times, he was very helpful and asked if he could call me back. I was very hesitant about getting a warranty cause friends always said they were a waste of money or they don’t work. Well I did my research and found Endurance was rated the best and went against my friends because I had a couple friends that had vehicles like mine break down and they had to pay out of pocket. When I took out the policy I didn’t know the mileage off hand because my son was driving the truck, so the salesman said just an estimate to get a price. I told him 135,000 and he put 135,999, when my son returned on hour later I emailed Endurance the correct mileage of 130,343 on 01 Feb 2019. I received my policy in the mail on 11 Feb 2019 and I emailed them again because the mileage was still wrong on the policy and I wasn’t sure if that was going to matter or not if my vehicle broke.
So I drove the vehicle, to school, work, vacation, past the 30 days and the 1000 miles and it broke down as the wife was driving it. I had it towed to the dealership to get it repaired and I thanked God I had this policy and wouldn’t be screwed like my friends. Well come to find out the mileage was changed but to 130,8 something which put it 200 some miles short of the 1000 miles. I called Endurance to find out what was going on and I sent them the emails and all. The supervisor sent the correct mileage to United Car Care (UCC) Inc (which if you didn’t know is another contract all together which you don’t see). Well United Car Care denied the claim saying that the mileage kept changing. I told them the wrong mileage had nothing to do with me that was Endurance.
So after a very very long talk with Endurance today, after they said they made the mistake of the mileage issue, they come up with this well you are only about 400 miles above the 1000 with the correct mileage so UCC wouldn’t cover you. I told them it doesn’t matter if the vehicle broke down at 1 mile over the 1000 the policy states 30 days 1000 miles. Endurance kept trying to use the policy against me by then telling me that it was a preexisting issue cause of the use on the engine. REALLY? The final straw was again before when I talked to Endurance about the wrong mileage and resent the emails for the supervisor there was no issue, now all of a sudden he finds this message that I supposedly sent through their website on March 10th asking to change the mileage to the 130,8 something. They didn’t find this the last time I called them but it just all of sudden showed up.
Why in the world would I send two emails with the correct mileage and then 10 days after the 30 days send one asking to change to 130,8 something. Sorry for the something, it is just because I really don’t know what that number is because I never wrote it. So this company talks a good game until it comes time for the customer, if you have to use your policy and it gets denied, Endurance will not back you! They may be ranked #1 for selling policies but last for standing behind it!

And then a month in, I looked into it and I noticed it wasn’t on there. I called about it and they said it wasn’t. They were trying to hassle me over getting it and I felt like I got screwed. Now I'm stuck.
I spoke to someone else about what they could do for me, and all they said was that it is what it is, like I got screwed. If I want the suspension package, I'll have to pay $170 a month, or I could deal with having to go to another company and having to wait through another 60-day time period, and then have to go through having to put more mileage on the car. Not only did they find a reason to not pay for the transmission replacement, they made the dealership take the transmission out and tear it down, said that an inspector to come look at it. That cost me $600 in additional labor that I should not have had to spend. Endurance Auto Warranty claims that my torque converter, which is part of the transmission, failed. However the dealership says that it was a pump in my transmission that failed. Even though the torque converter is part of the transmission, they said that the torque converter is not a covered part and since the torque converter broke and cause the transmission to fail they would not pay for the replacement.
I’ve called to appeal the decision at least 10 times and have been promised a callback and no one has ever called me. Do not buy an auto warranty from them, they are the biggest rip off I have ever dealt with and I feel like I wasted not only $600 and uncalled for labor cost but $2500 on a useless auto warranty, trust me they will look for any and every way they can to not cover a failure.
