Endurance Auto Warranty was fine. I ended up cancelling my plan, but they were easy to deal with. It just that it ended up being too much. The car was purchased for 18,000 and the warranty was gonna cost me 5,500. So, it’s like a third of the price of the car. There was a payment plan, but it was 250 down and then 190 a month. That was like a whole month of car payment. And it’s not just them. I’ve talked to other companies, too. It was the same price. It’s just that it’s an expensive car when you first buy it, but as the years go by, the value of the expensive cars goes down really quick. So, you buy it for 18, it’s only worth 18 if you sell it, but then you’re paying 5,500 for a warranty. It’s crazy. I got five years of payment on the car. And an extra coverage is smart if it’s cheaper. Other than that, everything was good with the Endurance reps. They were good about everything, even with cancelling and returning the money.

I purchased a policy with Endurance in 2018. I now submitted a claim and have been told by Johnny, Customer Service that my policy is null and void as there is discrepancy with the mileage as shown on Carfax and he accused me of "rolling back the odometer". When I purchased the insurance plan on March 12th, 2018 I explained that the car was in Canada and I need to ensure that service work could be done in Canada. I was told that this was not a problem. I am now being told that "because some Canadian mechanics reported the mileage in Kilometers instead of miles this was causing an issue." I then emailed copies of all service invoices since the vehicle purchase date which clearly show the mileage beginning with 17,673 miles on 06/04/13 to 70,070 miles today.

I have asked for a copy of their Carfax report and was refused that. I also asked for written notice as to why my claim was denied and insurance cancelled and was told they do not have to provide that. I am currently trying to get my money back as I should NEVER have been sold this policy if having the vehicle serviced in Canada was an issue. DO NOT buy from them - they are insurance scammers.

I have an auto warranty on my other vehicle and I purchased that one back in 2004. Fortunately, that one has 100,000 miles unlimited time. On the other hand, the warranty on my 2015 truck had already left after three years and it has five years powertrain that's coming up this coming year. Since I have extra cash, I thought I'd buy an extended warranty on the vehicle. I searched and called different insurance companies and even went to different Ford dealers here. What they were offering was totally different and a lot more expensive. That was when I went to the Better Business Bureau and I noticed that Endurance had a good rating in there so I chose to go with them instead of the dealer. Purchasing the warranty went very well. The rep was very informative.

Purchasing the extended warranty from Endurance was very easy because I had plugged in my information on the their website. And as soon as I put in the information and hit “Submit”, the phone rang and it was somebody from Endurance. I was so shocked because the other people that I dealt with before, CarShield, took their time in contacting me. Also, the price is so expensive with CarShield. Even if they said that they were making a discount, it is not a legitimate discount. Also, CarShield was kinda pushy and I was talked right down to.

Everything went so smoothly with Endurance. The price was reasonable. Everything just flowed, and that’s what I like about Endurance. I also told about Endurance at work about it. I told them that I like the way they operate and they’re not trying to beat you on your head as far as taking your money. Endurance was not necessarily cheaper but it was more reasonable. Everybody else wanted 300 dollars every month, which was ridiculous. I will recommend Endurance to anyone just to see if they can help them. They’re real down-to-earth. They talk to you, and let you know what you really need. They are not trying to nickel-and-dime you. I’m more comfortable with Endurance than I was with CarShield.

Endurance Auto Warranty is very legit. The prices was low and the coverage that they offered was pretty good compared to the average broker, little small mom-and-pop type warranty places and those scam places that don't fix anything on your car when they're really broken. Two weeks after I got the coverage, my AC broke, but I couldn't make the claim at that time. I gotta deal with it on my own, but I couldn't fault Endurance for that. But I have their coverage for extra precaution.

The rep was very patient. He explained things really well and answered all of our questions. We got the Plus type of coverage and we like it. I had seen the information on the computer as far as how to file a claim but our understanding was that a paper policy would also be sent to us because we don’t have a printer and we can’t print the information. We haven’t gotten that yet. But making payments was very easy as well. We just had to give the rep the information. He took it and that was it.

We bought a used vehicle and I needed a warranty for it because the previous one expired. Endurance pays direct, so I don't have to pay for it first and then get reimbursed. The rep was informative and answered all my questions without much runaround. Originally, we did the payment through my debit card, which is maybe the same as direct deposit. But then they also have the website where you can go and change the payment option any which way you want to. They could use some work on the user-friendly stuff though. It’s pretty good, but it is a little difficult to navigate. One thing I couldn’t find on there was what my coverage details were. Once they were found, we could do what we wanted. We were offered extra options and it was super easy. Also, the price was real good. I've already recommended Endurance to another friend.

My truck’s getting up in age and it doesn’t have that many miles on it based on the age. I was trying to decide if I was going to sell it and get a new truck or keep it and buy a used SUV and when I decided that I was going to keep it, I wanted more security with it. I figured that somewhere down the line, if something was gonna happen, I would like to have a little protection to help me with the cost. I decided to look into an extended warranty and my wife did a Google search for the best companies. Endurance was the first one to come up so I went ahead and called them and talked to somebody. They explained everything to me and I had a couple of questions which they answered to my satisfaction.

Also, they explained to me that it has to be 60 days from the date of purchase and 1,500 miles on my truck before I could use the warranty if I had an issue. I felt like that was reasonable and I had no issue with that. So, I bought the warranty and making payments was very easy. I would recommend Endurance to someone else if a conversation came up. I’ve already recommended them to my brother and to a cousin of mine who also have older vehicles. When buying my contract I was told all the parts were covered including turbos and 4x4. Five months later engine light came on and heard rattling in the engine so I took it to a well known shop. Shop told me that Endurance inspector needed to look inside the engine to see the rattling but before they got my approval to go inside the engine, they said all parts were covered internally before break down. I gave the go ahead and little to know timing chain were stretched to where it feel off the the guide, turbo was leaking cause of bad seals and bearings and oil pump went bad.

The shop came back to me saying after opening up the engine, Endurance was not going to cover nothing and all cost have to come out of pocket. I called endurance and they said the part need to be literally in pieces for them to cover it, when those parts were failing anyways. I had to pay out of pocket $5300 to get it out. I cancelled my contract and was told at the beginning of the contract that I can cancel at any time and get a full refund. But when I spoke to the representative to cancel and was told they would calculate the miles from start and take it out of my refund. I have to write a cancellation letter that has to have the odometer numbers day of cancellation, get it notarized and mail it to their headquarters. I would never recommend endurance to anyone.

I dealt with Daniel and he helped me thru everything. I loved how he treated me and made me feel good about everything. I've changed my stars from 1 to 5 because of Daniel.

    Original Review: Aug. 1, 2019

I've used them before a few years ago and never had an issue or was I lied to. Well 3 years later the company has went from good to horrible. 25-30 minimum hold times to talk to the claims department. I was talking to a sales guy and I was asking if my turbo was covered and he said sure is. I took my Audi to the dealership and they found out the Westgate was responsible for the turbo going out. First of all, you can't get a Westgate by itself. You have to buy the WHOLE turbo to get it repaired. There is no way around it. I can't fix the Westgate by itself and you can't take it apart to repair it. It's the WHOLE TURBO that needs to be fixed. I'm finding out this little loophole that the Westgate isn't covered, wasn't even on my policy and I had no clue what's covered other than my turbo. I don't know any exclusions. I will never use them again for lying to me to put me into a policy. DO NOT USE ENDURANCE!!

My children's cars are getting older and it's gonna be pretty pricey if they need some sort of repairs. I may not be able to help them with those and they aren't in a position yet to take care of those things themselves. So I decided to get a warranty and the salespeople at Endurance were professional. I understood what they all said and it was easy to make the payments.

The only thing that I really don't like about Endurance is the 1,000-mile prerequisite. Most of the policies would entail a 30-day waiting period. But Endurance has the 30-day plus the 1,000 miles. So if you don't really drive your car that much, it may take you a couple of months to do that. That's the only downside to that. But what I liked is that one of the companies that I called just wanted me to pay a monthly fee indefinitely whereas with Endurance, after three years, I get two additional years of coverage if I haven't exceeded the mileage. At this point, I haven't had any negative sort of problems, with claims being paid or accepted, and I'm tentatively happy with the package but I am not happy about the 1,000 miles.

I own a 2004 Infiniti. Knowing that I have a high mileage vehicle and anything can go wrong at any time I decided to get an extended Warranty with this company going by the 5 stars it has here on this website. I paid month by month for over six months. This summer my vehicle's A/C started to go. It would work intermittently. I decided to take it to the mechanic to get fix. After almost 5 days in the mechanic doing a bunch of diagnostic tests on the car that the insurance company requested they contacted the insurance company with the results and for my surprise the claim was DENY.

According to the mechanic 1) the Radiator cooling fan was defective and 2) the compressor wasn't working properly. They stated the fan would stop working resulting on the computer stopping the compressor to save it from getting damaged. The mechanic informed me the insurance company had requested to speak to me regarding my coverage. When I contacted the company they stated the reason my claim was deny was that although the compressor and the fans were both covered parts they would not approve the claim because the mechanic found a gap wider than factory specs on my a/c compressor clutch and they did not consider that mechanical failure or break down, they stated it was consider wear and tear. They stated wear and tear was not covered and there was nothing I Could do, not even appeal their decision.

I told him that going by their logic any Lubricated moving part as they state on their contract as covered can pretty much be consider wear and tear resulting on a DENY claim. Anything from piston rings to any of the Vehicle's pumps can be consider to have stopped working due to wear and tear. This policy is pretty much useless. A waste of money. I started reading the bad reviews about this company on this page and they are all truth. I even ask the representative about a complain I read here and he accepted it was the case. Someone posted here that their engine blew and the company deny his claim because he had the wrong speed rating tires that he had buy at a tire store and they were listed as compatible. The representative told me that him having the wrong rating tires causes the car engine to work harder therefore his claim can be deny.

Something as your tires can make your car ineligible for repairs on your engine. It makes sense why they don't inspect the vehicle when you get the insurance. It is beneficial to them to have car owner not be aware of things that might void their coverage. Something as simple as having slightly different rating tires can void the coverage for your whole vehicle. That's insane. Some people might even call this a scam. I ended up cancelling my policy with them since it makes no sense having a 2,900 policy that wasn't going to cover anything since they are going to look for any excuse to deny your claim.

As far as my vehicle goes. The first mechanic was charging me 1,200 to repair my a/c. I ended up taking the vehicle to my mechanic who had just come back from vacations and he fixed my problem in 10 min and didn't charge me a thing. He said the problem wasn't the gap or the fans. The other mechanic probably overcharged the system with gas causing the A/C compressor to shut off every time the car warmed up because the hotter it gets the higher the pressure gets in the system. If the compressor is not on obviously the A/C condenser fan is not going to be on. All he did was to hook it up to the gauge and release some of the pressure from the system. Lesson learn. When buying something if it looks too good to be truth there is always a catch. Start by reading the bad reviews first.

PER BBB THEY ARE NOT ACCREDITED AND HAVE A B-RATING... BUYERS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE!!! I purchased a warranty from this company. Upon opening the policy I explained that "my car has a CVT transmission," which the VIN number also gives them that info. I made the down payments, made the monthly payments on time, and did the XYZ to meet their requirements for the policy. Months later, I started having issues with my trans. I took the vehicle to dealership. They explained that "the trans is going bad and need to be replaced." They contacted Endurance. Endurance sent an inspector out who allegedly stated it's the trans. Well instead of Endurance paying for the repair, they requested that the transmission be torn out of the car and broken all the way down with my permission, which makes me responsible for the tear down cost if they decline the claim. The dealership representative was appalled as I was.

He explained that "they have never heard of such a request being that the vehicle has all the alerts for a transmission replacement." He also explained, which I agreed that "it doesn't make sense to make myself possibly responsible for $1k to tear the trans down. That's a fourth of the cost to replace the trans." I stressed my concern with Endurance rep Morris, he stated that "they will deny the claim because the diagnose is incomplete or I can authorize the tear down making me possibly responsible if the claim is not approved." I asked for a manager. He stated there wasn't one available. I told him it sounds to me that Endurance is looking for a needle in a haystack. A reason to decline the claim. I find it hard to believe that both inspections, from the dealer and from their inspector point towards the transmission and they're still looking for more info. Absolutely ludicrous!! They went from there and the process wasn't difficult. But they're not finish with it yet.

When I was checking for auto warranty, Endurance seemed to check out better than the other providers. When I called them, they were the only one that wasn't heavy-handed in the sales tactics. The rep wasn't pushy like all the rest of the companies. He also answered all of my questions. I signed up for the bumper-to-bumper package and so far, so good and paying for it has been easy so far. I got on the phone with the manager and I said that I didn't wanna pay the 180 downpayment. So he knocked it down to a 100 and just spread the other 80 across the rest of the payments for the plan. I'm paying 91 and some change a month so it's not bad. It's doable and having the warranty is pretty valuable for me now that the manufacturer's warranty is expired. I've also recommended Endurance to some of my friends.

After the adjuster came out (2 days later than they were supposed to) I was told that the shop and the claims company use different systems to calculate labor, and as a result I would have to cover the difference. When I spoke to Endurance they essentially shrugged and said "tough". Do not get this unless you have read all of the fine print and know exactly what they will cover.

Based on what Endurance told me, it sounded like it was a good policy that was gonna cover and supply the needs that I needed. But the problem is that they tell you what they think they want you to hear even when you're asking the right questions. Initially, I thought I was satisfied until I called and asked a few more questions, and then I was unsatisfied, so I cancelled it. There were some things that were told to me that when I called back to inquire about, I was told something different.

I talked to several people about it as to why was I told one thing and then now they're saying something different. I’m pretty much told, “Well, that was that individual.” There was no one who apologized for the wrong information, which I became very dissatisfied with once I realized that I didn’t have what I thought I had. When I said that it was not what I signed up for, the last person that I spoke to said that I was one day late of the 30 days, so I was gonna lose the money that I paid.

I asked if they were going to get me on my down payment, then I didn’t wanna pay the premium that was about to come out that day. The rep gave me all these stipulations that I needed to go get a damn amount of reading and all these things to encourage me not to do it, so they can keep that payment too. So it was a bad experience. I lost a down payment and a monthly payment for nothing because the associate was not truthful when they sold me the policy.

After being on hold for an average of fifteen minutes every time I called, I was hung up on six times in a row. Right now I am typing this and hoping I can get through to someone before the last two weeks of my trial is up. While I've been writing this I was hung up on twice more. However nice the people are on the phone, I feel the company itself needs to fix the issues with its phone lines. I try very hard to give a positive light to any review. I’m a big fan of making sure that I’m protected going forward with my vehicles and everything else. I like to have that peace of mind. Endurance had the best rating and I’m a big fan of looking online and making sure that everything was good to go. The first time I dealt with them was with a totally different vehicle, and the vehicle that I was looking at is not a vehicle that can be warrantied ‘cause it’s a police vehicle. The person that I dealt with at the warranty company neglected to tell me that and gave me the price and everything else. I ended up buying that vehicle. I got another callback from somebody else from Endurance and this guy told me I can't warranty that. There’s a line of communications issue. If they don’t have that, they're just out and out lying to people.

This time, I ended up talking to a gentleman named Stanley, and he was fantastic walking me through the policy when I found my other vehicle. I talked with him about everything and everything was really good. That’s another reason why I ended up going with it. But there’s this part of it where you’re in this special program for a year. They charge you $25 and you have to call and cancel. I told him I didn’t want any part of that. He said okay. He transferred me over, and I purchased a policy outright. The person that I was dealing with knew from the start that I didn’t wanna purchase that, and he said, “No problem. I can have that squared away for you.” But he’s liar number two. He did the same thing and lied to me. He said that it was not part of it. This happened in June, and the other day, I just got the gift in the mail for being part of it.

The next part is, I never got a copy of my contract the day that I purchased it and I paid for it outright so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t have been emailed to me. It takes two seconds in a digital world. It should have been sent to me right there. I thought that I would have better luck with dealing with my salesperson directly. I called him and asked why haven’t I gotten my contract. He told me to let him look into that. He transferred me to customer service and it just took forever and ever. I can’t sit on the phone for half an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone so that was an issue. Then I sent an email and I didn’t get the contract. I sent another email and I still didn’t get the contract.

Finally, I called the other day. I talked to a lady and she was great. I said, “You know what? I don’t care how long it’s gonna take. I need to have this peace of mind that I have my contract.” She told me she was gonna send me a link to get this all squared away with the directions on how to get my contract and everything from the link from the email. That email came over. I told her that I got this lock key thing that finds your keys which was a little gift for being part of that exclusive program. I also told her I didn’t wanna be part of that and that I told the other rep that I didn’t wanna be part of it. She kept on telling me it’s one of those where I have to call and cancel. I told her it should’ve never happened in the first place. She said that’s another department and she had to transfer me. She didn’t even tell me anything. She was just like, “Okay. Please hold,” and it told me that I had to wait for like 20 minutes.

I was gonna see if I could call back there again today. I didn’t even wait for that department. When people say they have to put you on hold especially when you’re calling to order something and it takes 13 seconds for someone to pick up, but when you have to cancel something, it’s a half an hour or 40 minutes to cancel, that leaves me two things. One, they’re hoping I just give up and hang up and forget about it, and they just keep on charging me, or two, they’re just so busy with people calling and canceling. I feel like they have two people at a little table that are answering 2,000 calls. That’s a real problem for me. I’m hoping that by the reviews and everything that I saw online, I won’t have any issues when I have to get repairs. I haven’t needed it, but so far, I’m really skeptical. The gentleman that I was dealing with when I originally purchased the policy was fantastic but everything after that was terrible.

The only thing I had a issue with was the 30-day money back guarantee, but you’re not allowed to use your warranty for 60 days. So what's the point of having a 30-day money back when you can’t even use it in that 30 days and know if it’s something you like or not? Also, there’s no communication back and forth. But I recommend Endurance to people now as it is. I have a great peace of mind knowing that I’m gonna be covered if anything happens if I go on the road on vacation. So, I didn’t want the warranty to expire without having something else in place. Also, I wanted to wait to get my vehicle out to see if there were any issues because any warranty work that was done on my vehicle, that was under warranty at the time, would be warrantied for two more years. The rep from Endurance told me that I would be getting a discount if I sign up with them on that day and that when I get my car back, and if I find out that I don’t need it, they would refund everything. I just need to call them within 30 days.

I got my car back and everything was good so, I called to cancel. The person that I got asked me why and I told him my explanation. He said that it was not a good reason. I even got his name and told him that he was rude, unprofessional and didn’t have the personality conducive to customer service. I called them maybe on the 29th day or the 30th, but not beyond. If a person does not want something, and I’m calling within the time frame, all he needed to do was say thank you and that they were sorry they couldn’t meet my needs at that time. It was a hassle to cancel. If they listen to the recording, they will hear his responses. They refunded me my money but they shorted me $20. I have a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. I purchased a warranty with Endurance thinking that it would be wise to protect myself against potential issues (the adult thing to do). I made my payments and never had an issue - until I did. In February 2019 I was on my way to work and the car shuddered and slowed. I was able to get it off the interstate and to the mechanic. I was confident that they would find the problem and that everything should be fine because I had a policy. Within a few days the Hyundai dealership contacted me to tell me that I had engine failure due to a piston/ring issue and since Hyundai doesn't make a replacement I needed to replace my whole engine. Again, no problem. They contact Endurance who sends out an adjustor. I wait.

Within a few days my mechanic calls and she says, "You're not going to believe this." "Oh no" I reply. She continues, "They are denying your claim because of your tires." (Not the wheels, the tires.) "What do you mean?" I ask her (I don't know anything about cars.). "That's just it." She continues, "They say that your tires are the wrong size and they are denying your claim." Confused I ask, "What do the tires have to do with the piston/ring failure." "Absolutely nothing." She says. "These are completely unrelated."

Shocked I contact Endurance and the person on the phone replies that they are indeed denying my claim because of the tires. The explanation is insufficient but they claim that the tires cause additional wear and tear on the vehicle. They allow for a 1% variance in tire size but I am at 1.25%. and that "they don't have to allow for any." When I asked how this affects the piston/ring the rep didn't provide any kind of answer and restated that I was outside the allowed variance on the tires.

Still in shock I contact Tire Discounters where I purchased the tires. I relay the whole story to them and they look up my information. We come to find that the tires that are installed are allowed for the vehicle and they reiterate that the tire size has nothing to do with a piston/ring failure. This conversation is repeated again at my regular mechanic as I am collecting paper work on my regular oil changes and maintenance for the vehicle.

After all this I contact Endurance again and relay to them all the information that I've collected and they tell me, "Well, regardless, the tires are a 'modification'" and they can deny my claim for that. "A modification?!" I reply in anger. "If that is the case then tinting the windows would be a modification, would you deny an engine claim for tinting the windows?" "Well that would be a modification" the rep replied.

Anyways, I now have a car that I don't have the money to fix that I am still paying for. Another car I had to take a new loan out to buy. I have to keep insurance on both vehicles to keep the bank happy. I dropped out of Grad school to pay the notes and get the situation resolved. TL;DR Endurance is a sham and will deny your claim for whatever they see fit. PS. It's the end of July and I am still trying to resolve this issue.

I might need an extended coverage for my vehicle one day and I looked it up online. Endurance popped up and I picked them. The rep seemed like he knew what he was talking about such as the rules and the coverage. I did a payment plan because it was the same amount if you paid upfront or just spread it out. If you pay cash upfront, you should get a discount. Also, the monthly payments are a little high because they don’t stretch it out as far as the warranty is. They should stretch it longer.

We were looking and we've seen Endurance was the best. The rep was nice. I told him I was on a fixed income and he set me up right away with the gold package that I could fit with my fixed income which what I thought was cool. Making payments for it is easy. I put it in my girlfriend's account and they take it out of there. Endurance worked with me and that shows me a lot of respect. They were top rate. I decided to get extended coverage on my vehicle just in case something was to happen. Sometimes, something happens to a vehicle and it ain't a cheap fix. I have all my regular bills, my five kids, and everything else like that. If something was to happen to my vehicle, the repairs could be $100 and sometimes $500 or $700. The parts might cost this much and the labor might cost that much. I figured an extended warranty would be good.

I had a couple of extended warranty companies calling me at one time. I had gone with a company but another warranty company called me and they were telling me how bad the company I chose was. I looked up the company I chose on the Better Business Bureau and they didn't have good reviews. They had a lot of disputes about paying out claims. I tried to cancel my warranty with that company. I decided not to go with the company that called me and let me know about the initial company I had gone with either because I didn't like their reviews as well.

I saw that Endurance was the number one company and they had fewer disputes than the majority of the other companies that were out there, so I decided to go with them. Their rep explained everything to me. He explained that I had 30-day wait period before I could actually make a claim. But he neglected to tell me that it was 30 days and 1,000 miles that I had to put on the car. I knew of that once I got my written policy and I read it. That was the only issue I had. Other than that, everything else to me was a good experience. When they tried to take the first payment off of my card a little prematurely, I just let them know that it was a different card. Endurance worked with me regarding that. It was also very easy making payments. They keep calling you on the phone until you pay for the warranty.

Endurance's options appealed to me more. I went with them and I was very pleased with their rep. However, I got the impression that there was no charge to cancel because I was told that at the beginning. As we got further along, it was like, “Oh, no, you're charged." It's $50 or $100 when you cancel. That was not real clear. It didn’t cost me the policy, but it was something I think that should be clarified more. When you ask, “Are you gonna charge me if I cancel?” and they say, “Oh, no, no,” that’s kind of what you expect. They need to really tell the customer upfront that yes, there is a cancellation charge. But at this point, I would recommend Endurance. My car is a 2010 and I plan to keep it. If I can keep it another four or five years and if something major happens, Endurance will help cover it.

Mechanic said he would tear it down right quick. Inspector said he seen enough and left. Did not say a word. Mechanic finally gets the inspector on phone. He said he denied the claim.

So I told the mechanic to fix it. So mechanic calls inspector again and tells him he is fixing to fix AC. If he wanted he could video or take pictures of it. The inspector was rude and told him, "I already told you it was denied." The mechanic said, "it shows it covered. Why would you deny the claim." He said because it was not broken down. Reviewed July 5, 2019

For an expensive car, it's a smart idea to make sure that you have insurance on the parts as well as having an insurance on the car itself. And the same reason you should have insurance on the car, you should have insurance on the thing that could go on in the car. You never know what may happen in this world. I bought my car used from a dealership. It was my first time doing that as well. So, I wanted to make sure I did it right and have good coverage on it on both accounts.

I liked Endurance partly due to some internet reviews on it. It was kinda rated as an underdog, under-picked that was actually that many people enjoyed. I'm still considering that idea, but that is what it was recommended as. I am still under the 30-day trial run. And a lot of these policies don't allow you to really examine the policy without doing a trial date. And where I'm at right now is examining Endurance's quality in regards to some other companies. But I'm not completely sold on them yet, but it did have good reviews, and it had a good price range.

Also, they do one thing that no other company ever does which is to insure on tires. And I had to ask them that 50 million times because I was kinda baffled that they do that, and I'm not really sure whether there is a loophole on this thing or not, but a kicker for me was that if a tire will not keep air, then they will be putting money in to replace it. And that is something that no other company does. It seems like there's a loophole there. It's odd that, Endurance, of the 50 million extended warranty companies that are out there, is the only one I've had offer that. So, that was kind of a plus and a turn on for them, but also a little bit leery. The other reason was that they offered a warranty on all of the electronics within the car including the stereo.

Now, one of the things I'm a little turned off by which is another one of those cool things, but a little bit leery on which is the promotional coupons that they offered along the way. This, from my experience, makes it seem kinda like a used-car dealership where they throw you a bunch of free mugs and t-shirts, but they're really selling you a piece of crap. So, if you're gonna be a car warranty company, you should stay focused on car warranty company. But trying to offer incentives like that is like putting dressings or a Band-Aid on something you're trying not to get the customer to see the actual problems.

Protect My Car does the same thing. And I talked to Protect My Car for a while due to Endurance's price range being very similar. It was on the lower end. The price range has been where it might have some value. But in talking to that company, they had some of the worst organizational issues I've ever seen in a company. They had no record that you had talked to them and what you had talked about. And I feel like I'm getting a runaround on that these companies are giving a really good sales pitch, but when it actually comes down to the product, it is not all that great. And being that Protect My Car and Endurance are set up in a very similar way, it makes me leery to see how Endurance responds in that aspect. They're both acting in that used car dealership, where they're offering a lot of little incentives. And so, I'm a little leery about that.

Endurance's main competition right now for me, not in price but in quality is Omega Auto Shield. It is a different price arrangement, but it is a more legitimately based back and higher BBB setting. Based on its backing, I'm hoping it's better. But based on Endurance's price, I would prefer them to be the underdog. And also, the other company is working through a subsidiary company. They're hiring a subcompany to do their interactions for them. And that can become an issue in business that I've discovered before where you end up in an argument game between two different companies. You will be caught in a middleman. One of the reasons I like Endurance and one of the reasons their price is low is they're not having that middleman involved. They're skipping the middleman price, and the hassle that comes along with trying to deal with two different companies that are fighting amongst themselves.

Other than that, Endurance got me my papers out in a duly time. They haven't left me off the face of the earth. And they are calling to verify and ask how my experience is which is good. So far, they have called me to ask me about how my service is which is good. They answered all my questions successfully for the first initial call which I can get thoroughly involved in some questions. I'd like to do my due diligence on research and understanding an agreement before I get involved in it.

Most internet reviews for Endurance were fairly positive. A lot of guys like me that had tried or looked at other places weren't really and just decided that all in all, this was a hidden gem that they found that was really good. And they took a gamble on them, and it worked out well. They were loyal and they didn't give them a beat around. They didn't lie to them. They didn't harass them with calls. They didn't say one thing and then come back and then say another with a loophole in fine print.

I've been in retail years ago and I know the tricks he used.

The payment plan seems fine. There's no interest to it. And when I stop paying it, it goes away. If I sell the car, I can include it with it or I can just drop it, and they don't pay you back with a prorated amount, which really gets hurt. If it's many years into it, it's just a pittance. So, this is easier. I just make the payment each month. I've recommended Endurance to a number of people.

I went on one website where I plugged in my information as far as my car and Endurance came up as the best choice. The Endurance rep I worked with while purchasing the warranty made everything really simple. It was really easy and I had the warranty within 10 minutes. Making payments was also easy. I gave them my information and everything went fine. Everything has been great. I have a Porsche and I had been told it was just now possible to do luxury cars. So, they had to redo it because they said it was two different ways they had to write it up, for a new vehicle and a used vehicle. And then they did me a favor and gave me an extra 20,000. I researched reviews online, and I decided to go with Endurance. I asked their rep when I will be able to use the warranty, and I was told that it will be in 90 days, which is fine. I don’t have any pre-existing conditions with my car, but I just wanted to know just in case. I asked what was on the warranty and if they would send me like a print out. I like to be able to put my hands and my four eyes on something. When I made my payment, I was assured that it would be sent to me. So I’m just waiting for it to arrive.

Another thing I asked for was an invoice. I prefer an invoice every month because that’s how I pay my bills. I got a couple of phone calls that it was due. I was wondering why they were calling me. And it was because of a bill that was due, and I couldn’t remember when it was due. If I’ve had that invoice, I could’ve intercepted those phone calls. I need that invoice, so I could be able to send my payment. All the elder and the senior citizens probably don’t have a computer and don’t even know how to use one. And all the old school probably prefer a paper invoice. So I would recommend that they send an invoice to everyone, and then let the consumer decide. Other than that, I’m hoping I won’t have to use the warranty any time soon, but I’d rather have it then not have to use it than need it and don’t have it.

We kept warranties on everything that we could, even our home. Endurance had a good rating when I did some checking online, so I went with them. I talked to their rep on the phone and we set up everything. He was very knowledgeable, polite, and explained it all to me. The only thing that was questionable was that I had to wait 30 days to cancel. But yet, I had to wait 30 days to use the warranty and I had to put 1,000 miles on my vehicle.

I was a little bit regrettable about that and the 1,000 miles kind of upset me because we don’t go that far in three or four months. You can cancel in the first 30 days but if you’ve not used it, why would you cancel it? So, we still have to wait for the 1,000 miles before we’re eligible. But we don't need it right now. It’s just that that’s sort of a little crooked deal that they got in there. Also, they never mailed me any authorization. They sent me an email which I printed out, but I thought that they should have at least mailed me a card for us to carry.

Endurance Auto Warranty charged me $150 down and 84 a month and another company called me and said that they could do $100 down for 55 a month. I had to do a conference call with Endurance and the other company to ask why there was a difference, and Endurance said that they would go ahead and give us that price. Their sales reps were nice trying to make a sale.

When my air went out, Endurance still wanted to charge me $245 for a piece of air conditioner plus $100 deductible. So I spent $345 on my own pocket. What's the point of having a warranty if they don’t pay for the part? I complained about it and they were nice enough to give me $55 credit for July payment. And then, they said they would give me another $55 whenever I want it. So, basically, they just took out my deductible, but I still have to come up with 245. The part was only $650. So, I paid half the price for the air conditioning. If I would've known, I would've never got the warranty and I could've saved for three months more dollars. Also, they'd really need to resend back my 145 because that was wrong because I was told the deductible was $100.

My car runs great. But the engine light just came on, so I took it back to the shop. They said that the reason why the engine light was coming on because the computer needed to be reset. I just emailed them to ask if this would be covered. But I'm scared to call Endurance 'cause I'm scared that they will charge me the whole price. So, I'm just gonna drive with the engine light come on until my extension is due in September. I just gonna have to pay another $100 deductible, but I'm scared to even do it. Basically, Endurance did nothing for me. I'm just stuck with them for three years. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody, not even to my worst enemy.

We bought a used 2011 Ford F-150. It had approximately 60K miles on it and was in terrific condition, but we thought it would be good to buy the Endurance warranty for potential future repairs. After a few months, we noticed a noise coming from the engine on startup. Took it to the Ford Dealer where we learned that the engine needed work on the Cam Phasers. We had to wait a few days before someone from Endurance came out to inspect the car. The inspector determined that the tires on the car we bought were different than the original equipment that came with the car when new and our claim was denied. We confirmed with the dealer that the size of the tires (+4mm) had nothing to do with the engine problem. When I tried to cancel the warranty, the customer service agent told me that if we pay another $500, Endurance would pay for future repairs, even with those same tires!

We cancelled our warranty and tried to get the money we had paid to Endurance refunded, to no avail. Endurance is a #1 rip off and will not honor their warranty when it counts. We had to drive 1000 miles and wait 30 days before the warranty went live, but the term to cancel the contract was within the first 30 days, so we would have had to cancel the policy before it was even active in order to receive any of our payments back. If you are buying a new car, it will come with a warranty. If you are buying a used car, any non-essential part that has been replaced with anything other than original equipment will give them reason to disqualify coverage of repairs. DON'T FALL for the ENDURANCE SCAM!

PLEASE READ. I am currently in the process of a claim. My vehicle has the supreme policy, and I was told this would be the perfect choice for my type of vehicle (2014 Equus) because of the features and costly options. 2 weeks ago the suspension on my car began to lower. I immediately had the vehicle sent to the dealership. The verdict was simple. My hydraulic pump was defective sending too much air pressure to the airbags causing them to leak, which then caused the interior rods to snap. The service manager contacted Endurance and verified that the parts were covered by my policy. I then called Endurance where a representative verified the exact same thing to me just to be sure. At this point he said they would send out an adjuster to finalize the repairs needed.

Because the airbags were damaged from the faulty pump the adjuster listed only the airbags as a faulty item because they had physical damage to them. The pump was then disregarded for a reason they could not explain to me other than it "looking fine". The problem is Endurance does not want to send another adjuster out to see that the pump will blow a new set of airbags. They need the dealership to prove the pump is at fault and this is ALL OF THE PROOF they need if only they would get an adjuster out to see this occur. Of course that is too convenient, and I'm stuck in the loophole fighting for them to handle this appropriately.

As a business owner, I know better. I immediately contacted Endurance and the dealership 12 times over the course of 2 days to dispute this and explain that the airbags were caused by the faulty pump and now having the new airbags this can be proven. They are saying that they have finalized the issues reported and do not plan to send another adjuster out. So this means the airbags will blow again the moment the car attempts to self level. So another claim to Endurance only to experience the exact same situation!?!?

This has been a horrible experience for me. I will do every single thing in my power from both my side and business side to have fair treatment and proper care. I have reached out to contact corporate. I have my attorney for this matter to stay engaged with this every step of the way. Endurance should represent their company and clients better, and this will be the test to see if they do. If they resolve this then my reviews will change and I will keep my policy. Simple as that. The repairs are still less than my premium. This comes down to principles.

We called to cancel because I misread the policy, which I thought was for two years but it was for 10. Once the rep explained that to me, I re-read it and kept it. Having it gives peace of mind.

My experience with Endurance wasn't good. I was feeling some shaking in my car so I went to a local mechanic. They told me it was the motor mount and showed me it was broken. The rubber had worn out. But the representative I spoke with at Endurance was very rude and nasty. He wasn't professional. I tried to communicate information to him but he said, "I don't wanna speak to you. I need to speak to the owner." I told him that the owner was here but he was dealing with a couple more customers. After everything, he told me that the warranty was new and they weren't going to cover.

His exact words were, "Oh, it had to be a pre-existing condition." I said, "What do you mean a pre-existing condition?" It was almost like he was telling me that if something happened, they could tell me it probably was pre-existing and not gonna cover it. For all of that, I might as well cancel my warranty. The purpose of having a warranty is in case anything happens. I didn't think it was fair. His thing was that my warranty was new. The issue had to be pre-existing. My car is almost four years old. Of course, it has pre-existing wear and tear. But it doesn't matter how old the car is. It can be a new car that just had something went wrong.

I said, "You're saying pre-existing. But do you really understand the term?" He was saying it as if it was on me as the owner, as if I drove around here and said that my car had been making some noise for three years. I went to work. I was driving and I started to hear a vibration. I didn't know what it was. So I went to the shop. It so happens that I have a warranty that I paid Endurance for. But he acted like someone knows if something was going wrong. If we all knew, we would fix it. The purpose of having a warranty is for when things go wrong and you don't know what's going wrong. I'm not a mechanic, which is the first thing.

I had to pay out of pocket and with that experience, I'm questioning whether Endurance would even cover an issue if something happens to my vehicle six months later. It's like if you're a gambler rolling the dice. What if I was on vacation with my family and we decided to take a local ride then the issue was something that has me stranded, would Endurance leave me stranded? I'm telling my family that we're covered no matter what. But them, I would have to tell them we have to find somewhere to stay. I would have to stay in a roach motel because I would have to swipe my credit card to fix the car and the vacation would be cancelled.

Even though I've paid Endurance their downpayment and my second month payment, it has me asking whether the money was worth it. I would cancel and go with another company that I know is willing to pay and cover when you have incidents. Even when I spoke with the first representative at Endurance and I told her that I was having an issue with my motor mount, she asked if I wanted to see if it was covered. I told her that I had read the contract thoroughly and I knew Endurance would cover. I asked if they would need my mechanic to send a diagnostic. I asked what the next step was. But I got transferred from one department to the next. It was like a runaround.

I had a previous warranty and had double coverage. But I wanted to get another warranty before that expired. I liked the way that Endurance was rated on the internet, so I went with them. The rep I worked with was excellent and making payments for my warranty was very easy. It was on automatic draft monthly and it was really great. Endurance's reps were also very professional and they explained everything. I appreciated their assistance. I’m also really satisfied with the actual warranty and the things that are offered even beyond the warranty. If something is not warrantied and you don’t have the cash available, to still get the service, Endurance will go ahead and take it from the account on a monthly basis. That is a big plus to purchase in this warranty along with the easiness of making monthly payments and not requiring all of it at the same time.

And the price of the warranty was very similar to the first warranty that I took out initially through Lexus. Also, to renew the warranty, that company wasn’t able to do a financing situation and the warranty would cost more. Hopefully, if I ever need the warranty, because I never needed the other one, I’m still double covered. I also hope that because my car is a Lexus, it will continue to give me great performance.

Getting a policy is definitely a smart choice and I decided on Endurance since it is a larger company and it has a better track record. The policy purchase was very simple and they seemed to be well-informed. They did well in explaining the warranty to me. Before I decided, they also sent me copies to explain the coverage itself. I have one complaint though. We were on vacation and we had a small issue with our vehicle then the guy I called a few days ago immediately said it wasn't covered. But I had specifically asked for the coverage on what was the issue when I got the policy. So the adjusters need to be very well-informed versus telling me conflicting information from when I bought the thing. That most recent experience with an adjuster has left me undecided if I wanna continue the policy until I get further clarification on the actual coverage. I've also been waiting on my packet I'm supposed to get.

My coverage was running out and I looked on the internet and got the best-rated extended warranty. Endurance came up as the number 1-rated. From the moment I sent an email to inquire, within less than a minute, I had a callback from Endurance and they explained to me all the packages. Their rep was very informed. He made sure that I understood all the information. We went over it.

What I liked was the fact that he had the option to sell me probably the most expensive package there was, but he asked me a lot of qualifying questions first and then was able to fit me in what we both agreed would be the best policy and coverage that I would need based upon my car and how I drive. He had the chance to hard upsell me but didn’t do that because he wanted to make sure that I was happy. Every time I asked questions, he was able to answer every question that I had. Then he transferred me to verification and it just went very smoothly and seamless.

There was the initial fee and anything else is automatic out of my account every month, so nobody is checking up on missed payments. I have an oil change within 30 days and when I go into the dealership, Endurance handled everything, so there was no need for me to do anything. I haven't had to have my car fixed yet so the judge is still out on that one. I’m hoping that it’s as seamless as everything else was.

Expect to pay more than your deductible. My first claim, I'm expecting to pay $100 for the deductible. Endurance says, "Sure take your car anywhere for repairs it doesn't matter." Endurance only paid for 1 hr diagnostic and repair time based on a national database. Furthermore, they also limit their labor rates based on location in another database. Bottom line I had to pay for the labor difference. Mind you this is a GMC vehicle being worked on at a GMC dealership. I would expect them to be most efficient in diagnosing and repairing my vehicle.

In addition, there may be additional fees like "shop supplies" that most dealerships charge. Those are not covered by Endurance (see section E8A per John)! In the end I had to pay almost double what my deductible was. An additional $80.03 to be exact. That may not sound like much but this nickel and diming is for the birds. At the moment I'm caught in the middle as I need my vehicle like we all do. In the end, I'm shopping around for a new company to provide repair coverage. My shop I've been doing business with for decades and am also considering a change there as well.

I have a Volkswagen Jetta and Volkswagens can be expensive when things break down and if it was out of warranty. I went with Endurance since the price seemed to be better but I ended up not getting the coverage that I was seeking so I’m not sure if it was actually better. The guy who was speaking to me initially was getting me signed up, getting the information from me and working out the terms. He understood that I wanted bumper-to-bumper and I was looking for it to be in a certain price range or I was gonna keep looking. He said okay but when he came back, it was not in my range at all. Then he came back with a different amount, and I said I would take it.

I went through finishing stuff with him but then he said he would transfer me. When I spoke to the rep, I was almost done and I was about 45 minutes into the phone call. That is fine when you’re obtaining something like this but I was babysitting three kids on the weekend and my hands were beyond full. Towards the end, I confirmed that the coverage was bumper-to-bumper but she said I was getting the second one, not the first one. But I could not have been more clear with the first representative about what I wanted. So what he did was come back with the lower price for a lower thing and he didn’t make that clear to me.

I was sort of under the gun at that point because I had already given them all the information. At that point, I said I would just take it. I asked if it includes the AC because I live in Florida, if it includes the radiator because I had a Honda that leaked, and if it includes the transmission, and she said yes to all. So I got what I agreed to get but that wasn’t what I was seeking. I really just got scammed into getting a less one. I could have said no but I didn’t so I take full responsibility for that. I should’ve asked him why he could come back with $70 less for the same thing I just asked for. But I figured that’s what they do because I’ve never bought one of these warranties before.

I was also told I would get all of my paperwork by email. But I have never gotten a single thing by email from them confirming the coverage and showing me what it covers. I was also supposed to get a $250 gift card for something but I never received that either. I got two pieces of mail from the finance company telling me how my payments would be made but I got nothing about the actual warranty. So they took care of what was important to them but I got nothing regarding what the warranty entails in writing in any way, shape or form.

We’re happy we went with them. Everything was explained such as what was covered and not. It was what I have now with the manufacturer, except a few, little extra perks. But it was good and I have no complaints.

Originally, there was some confusion as far as the deductible but we got it all straightened out. I got a letter from Endurance that it was cancelled because of a rate increase but it was not meant for me. When I set it up the first time, there was nothing that told to me I couldn't change the oil in my truck myself. I never take my stuff to a dealer or a garage to have it changed. I drive a tow truck, so I see what happens when we take it to a place and have the oil changed in it. Under a factory warranty, changing the oil is one of the things that you can do yourself.

The guy from Endurance told me that I couldn't do it. I didn't notice until after I received the papers the first time, so I cancelled it. I'm not going to take it to a garage and it's gonna cost me $70 to change the oil when I can go to Walmart, get the same exact oil for my truck for $40. They called and asked me why I cancelled it. I told them why I did that. They said I can change the oil myself. The rep said, "I don't know why they told you that." Now, I'm still waiting for the papers saying that I have that warranty.

The reps that helped me when I did the purchase seemed like they knew what they were doing. But that can be anybody trying to sell you something. I see that they are rated first for a lot of stuff. But again, are those reviews correct? For what it's covering, Endurance is kinda expensive. It doesn't cover exactly everything. There's Concord which is rated one of the best but they're a little expensive. There's also CarShield. The truck I got is a 2012 model. It does not have a crazy mileage but only fair for being a Honda. But I'd rather have something there to cover it. If something does happen, it's there.
