I canceled signing up with Endurance because I got a warranty with the dealership where I bought the car. I thought I needed an extended warranty because the car I bought was a 2013. But a warranty actually came with the car, and I didn’t realize it did. Nevertheless, I had nice interactions with their reps. They were friendly people. Having an extended auto warranty is very important in these hard times.

Signing up with Endurance was pretty easy. With the amount of miles that are on my car and the year of my car, there ain’t nobody out there at all that will even touch a car if there was 90 miles on it. I was really surprised to see somebody do that. Their rep was pretty polite and he said, “We can get you signed up for this price, and we’ll get you a confirmation via email.” And I got that. I recommend Endurance to all. It's a good program and they have good people.

I had a warrant on my vehicle for two years and when it was over, I wanted to extend it. My vehicle is a BMW and everything costs more for it. Endurance Auto Warranty gave a better quote for the mileage I got and so far, the rep told me what the warranty covered.

Endurance had a top rating through Channel 5, so I went with them. The young lady that I talked to was really knowledgeable, and real helpful. I was also in the process of getting approval from a few other companies. She was patient and she explained the coverages real well. She was really nice and real professional. Endurance has better ratings and they also have some other perks. The other little parts that come along with the warranty that she shared with me at the time were pretty good as well.

I happened to select Endurance when I had to select one auto warranty provider since they were rated at number one online. My interaction with the representative was very good and I paid paid 200 and something right then. I don’t like to be on automatic pay but now I’m not sure how I’m supposed to pay them. I haven’t received a bill or anything yet, so I’m expecting them to mail me a bill as I’m not on automatic pay.

Purchasing from Endurance Auto Warranty wasn’t too bad. The first person I spoke to was very informative. I told him they were the first company I talked to. There were several others I was interested in speaking with, but with him going on and on, I ended up just purchasing with them. But after the fact, I went online and I went to Better Business Bureau, and I saw 443 complaints about Endurance. So, I didn’t feel comfortable with that. And then, I had a couple of other companies that called me with prices that were better but they were on the Better Business Bureau, and I looked them up even before. I didn’t get a chance to do that with Endurance. But with the other ones that called me, I told them I would give them a call back. And I checked them out, and they were rated A. I called Endurance to cancel and the rep I spoke with said, “Oh, well, I can lower it for you.”
I told the rep, “But that’s not really the issue. The issue is that I’m not comfortable with what I’ve read so far. But I can’t really speak to you now ‘cause I’m out in public.” He said, “I’m gonna lower it for you. When you get home, you just look at the new contract.” When I got home, I looked at it and I saw that he lowered it. Still, it was not even the price at that point. There were too many complaints for me. So, I called up and spoke to Nick who kept me about 40 minutes on the phone giving me every reason in the world why I don’t need to cancel to the point that I was getting frustrated. It was not good. And he said, “So, you mean to tell me you’re willing to not have any insurance on your car and risk it and pay thousands of dollars out of your pocket?”
I tried to explain to him and said, “Well, first of all, my car is just sitting. I live in New York state. It’s a lot of snow and everything right now. So, it’s parked and I’m using a truck. So, I’m really gonna be paying for something for four months, and then by the time I put the mileage on it that you’re requesting, 1,000 miles, it’ll be probably a good eight, nine months because I only drive local in leisure.” I told him I would much rather try to get this in the spring or the summer where I know I’ll be using my car. And even with all that, he said, “Yes, but understand you’re still gonna be sitting there with no coverage.” He kept pushing and pushing, and I told him about the complaints. And he said, “Yes, but did you see the good things people said?”
So, I opened it up on the phone while he was talking to me, and I said, “Listen, I’m looking at it right now. Yes, I do see some 4 and 5 stars, but for every two good reviews that have 4 and 5 stars, two and three, I see ten and twelve that’s horrible right under it. So, Nick, I’m not comfortable. Can you please just cancel my contract?” It was so frustrating. After 40 minutes in, he could pick up my frustration. When I asked for the cancellation, he said, “Sure. Okay. Well, I can cancel it for you. But just know that when you try to get this again, it’s gonna be more money.”
I also said, “And by the way, am I going to get my money back? Because I’m also reading here that people said they were gonna get a refund within three to five business days, and they’re calling back two or three weeks later, and they still didn’t get their money.” And he said, “It is three to five business days. I don’t know why they said that. This is why I’m saying you can’t go by what you’re reading.” He said I should have the money by Tuesday or Wednesday. This was last week. I still don’t have the money. So, I wasn’t too happy. And it’s funny because when I was reading, I scrolled down to one of the complaints, and Nick's name was there and the review said he was pushy. When I told him about it, he cut me off and said they have a lot of Nicks.

I was at the dealership buying a car, and they were trying to jack me with their warranty that I didn’t like. I went through my Credit Union and they told me about Endurance. I spoke with two people and they answered most of my questions, but it was hard to get them back on the phone because I had a little problem and I still don’t even know if it got resolved. They gave me one price, and then when I read the packet online, it was a different price. When I talked to them, they said they straightened it out. Then when they sent me the physical packet, it was still the same thing. So I didn’t know if that was because it was already on the way, but they never sent me a follow-up.
It took a little while for them to send out the physical packet. I requested it because they insisted that it was there online. I said that I want a physical packet because I don’t want to print out a bunch of stuff. Nevertheless, everything got done quickly and I have no issues with them, other than when I got the plan, it wasn’t exactly what we agreed.

I found Endurance Auto Warranty online. I was checking out the best rated ones for a car insurance and I happened to see that Endurance was rated high. I talked to the Endurance guy on the phone when I bought my tires through Lynn Layton Ford. They were who referred my insurance at the time on my car. I had good service in there. And what Endurance had to offer was good too. The rep was really cool, smart, right to the point and he knew exactly what he was talking about. He wasn’t trying to sell me something that I didn't want. He just told me the truth, plain and simple. And that was what I like about my experience. He was very nice and kind, and really quick too. I researched the quality of Endurance, and researched all the reviews on it. They have a track record of keeping their word, and paying for it. The rep I dealt with was very informative and very good. He didn't try to scam or bribe me. He did not manipulate or try to coerce me into buying anything I didn't want. I like that. He went over a lot of details that I asked, and in the end, whatever my decision was, it was my decision. I would definitely recommend them. They had true integrity with their word. And even though I had not used them yet, the gentleman that I worked with did an excellent job not only explaining pros and cons and anything but the entire service. My husband and I don't just buy into anything. We're very careful to do our research, and he was very pleased as well.

I took my Mercedes-Benz for servicing and claimed for a part that is covered under the warranty with Endurance. Endurance refused to cover the cost of the genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and instead sourced an Off the Market parts made by Meridian and used this to set the value of the claim that they were willing to cover. Clearly, an Off the Market part is going to be cheaper than the genuine part.
To make matters worst, this part is for the steering of vehicle, which if goes wrong could have deadly consequences for my family as we normally use this vehicle for road trips. Despite voicing my concerns about this unsafe and deceitful practice, Endurance refused to cover the cost of the genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and I had to pay the difference as I was not prepared to put my family's life at risk. Potential customers should be aware of this practice as I did not expect Endurance to compare Off the Market parts prices to genuine manufactured parts. I felt cheated as a customer and will be looking to take my business elsewhere and I have also referred the case to my attorney.
We do apologize that you feel as though you have had a bad experience with us. But when looking into your current claim, we were in fact providing to you a OEM part for your vehicle. The part was being purchased by one of our Suppliers named Meridian. We also provided a End of Contract Warranty on that part, where the part will only have a partial warranty from the manufacturer. If you feel as though you would like to address this issue further with one of our quality assurance specialists feel free to email us directly at Custserv@endurancedirect.com or call in at (866)432-4443.

I've had a warranty before but not this one, and Endurance seemed like a good deal. The numbers seemed to line up, and the salesman was simple. He wasn’t a complicated guy or he didn’t make it seem complicated. He wasn't an aggressive salesman. He gave me the details, explained the benefits to me, and his manager dropped the price, too. The policy will be active in another three weeks, and I get a bumper-to-bumper warranty for the next five years.
The starting up was great. I was told that when I start my first claim, I will need to get to the mechanic shop, get the quote for the work. With that quote, we can have whoever is in charge of the mechanic shop call. They will look up my member number, and they can start to work, and they’ll be paid by insurance, and I’ll get a copy of all those forms. I have a membership ID and I know that I can call. I, however, I don't have the paperwork yet and I don’t know how to log in. So, I need to call them and get everything about my login.

I recently bought a pre-owned car, a 2006 Scion, in excellent condition with only 77,000 miles, which will be driven locally only. Because of the age of the car my adult son encouraged me to consider an extended service warranty. After exploring another company and signing up with them, I felt uneasy about their potential coverage. I researched other companies the following day and I called Endurance. After speaking with Endurance's customer service, I canceled the other company's warranty and signed up with Endurance. Endurance's customer service is excellent, the price is more affordable than the previous company's and the waiting period, compared to the other company, is one that I can meet without difficulty.

The biggest influence in me getting Endurance Auto Warranty was all they offered. The fact that they didn't pressure me to purchase their stuff was the second. I've had other warranty people call me, and they said that I've got to get it then, otherwise, the offer wasn't gonna be good after the phone call. I said that I was just starting to think about checking into it. And they said that either I make the decision then or forget it.
The third was the financial way they put it. They gave it to me to pay for and helped me out to be able to get it. Other people wanted a lot more money. The interaction with the representative was very pleasant and nothing was forced. They were concerned that my questions were being answered. There was one point where the representative could not answer the question, but he put me in touch with the person who could. They were fantastic and I hope they continue to be fantastic especially if I have to use them.

My Jeep is six years old and my warranty on it just expired. I wanted to keep it because it runs really good and I didn't wanna buy a new one. When I asked the dealership about a warranty, they only had what I already paid through Endurance. They quoted me a price that was more than what Endurance quoted for the same coverage. I called Endurance and everything was explained to me. Then, they switched me over to another gentleman who finished up the deal for me. The only issue I had is that he took my mileage on it and he said if I could get 1,000 miles over what I just gave him and since I'm gonna go ahead and purchase it, they would start my 30 days then. This is like November 4th. I asked what he meant by 30 days and he said that I have to have 30 days plus the mileage for the warranty to kick in. He said he would start it on the 4th. It was perfect.
Then, I got the email with my plan on it and it said not effective from November 29th to December 29th, so I called. I needed verification on things and they told me that it's gonna be going from the day of my payment. I said that that wasn't explained to me and that the guy before said it was gonna start right away. But it was not a big deal. It was just miscommunication and the dates threw me off a little bit. They took my first payment out on the 29th, just like what I was told. We're all good. As soon as my other warranty expires on my other Jeep, I'm gonna call and get one on that one, too.

My warranty expired on my car and they were very pricey at the dealership. I called the dealership because that’s where I take my car to get worked on all the time and I asked them if they’ve dealt with CarShield. They said they had a problem. They could never get through to them and they would never call them back. So I asked them about Endurance and they said that they’ve done two vehicles with them and they’ve been good. They highly recommended that I go with Endurance. Making payments for the warranty was very reasonable and I was comfortable. I have two vehicles and it was a no-brainer, but there were a few things I didn’t like. Other than that, I just went for it. I was highly satisfied with my experience with Endurance.

I already have a warranty under the car that I bought and it was to expire in 6,000 miles. So, pre-planning for the future, I thought of how I was gonna handle it if I wanted to get a warranty or not after the warranty I had had expired. The coverage level of Endurance seemed similar to what I already had, as far as they covered the most, and I had no issues when I purchased the warranty. All aspects of the coverage were explained and it seemed clear. Then, if I were to file a claim today, they're supposed to send me an ID card and I’m supposed to bring that to the mechanic that I wanna go to. The mechanic is supposed to call and file the claim for me, get authorization from Endurance, and then let me know. And then I call and pay my $100 deductible.

My car is getting older and I wanted to have some things covered as it gets older. Honestly, the car still hasn't been paid off, so I wanted a bit of an assurance that I won't be stuck having to decide between making a payment and getting a repair. Endurance Auto Warranty had a policy for higher mileage cars, where some of the stuff that would start wearing out would be covered, so I decided to go with them. Because of my vehicle's higher mileage, there might have only been one option anyway, but their rep knew right away based on my mileage what that option was.
I did have to call them back to clarify a couple of points though because when they gave me the written policy, it looks somewhat different than what was explained to me on the phone. But the person I've talked to the second time walked me through their policy and I did have to call them back to clarify a couple of points. Doing payments with them was super easy because I just set it up with automatic draft. So far, I'm in the 30-day waiting period, and after that 30 days, I'll be able to file a claim. I paid the downpayment and the payments would be prorated, and so based on how they handle my first claim, will determine whether or not I will continue with them or not.

About two weeks ago, I purchased extra warranty from Endurance. The process was painless and their reps explained the benefits and how to file claims. However, upon doing more research, I am probably going to cancel the warranty. I may have paid a little bit too much for it. I found that only a small percentage of customers ever use their warranties, unless they had a catastrophic failure. It is a $3,000 purchase and it does not seem that it is going to give me the value that I thought it would.
The problem with those websites, any of the warranty places, you can’t get a quote until you call them. And once you call them, the special that they are offering is only available during that call. You can’t come back and think about it then call back. They will not give you that special. You’ve got to buy it right then and there. So, there is a little bit of pressure, but it is not from them - it is really more self. Still, Endurance did a good job. I have no problem with them as a company or the way that they worked with me. They even negotiated a lower price.

I wanted things that were necessary but wasn't covered. I wanted bumper-to-bumper and when I asked her, she said that it was. But it was not. Also, once I got my papers in black and white, I called Endurance Auto Warranty and tried to see if I could upgrade the package. They said that that was the highest level of coverage that they can give me. I said that I already paid them that much money already, I might as well give it a try and I did.

When I bought a used vehicle, the salesperson recommended getting a warranty on it just in case I run across any problems. I also had other providers soliciting me to get their policy, but Endurance's marketing strategy was better. Their rep was persistent and was very adamant that I'm gonna need the warranty so I got it. It was a very good experience.
However, when I had an issue Endurance was not able to help me. There was ticking going on in my engine so I took my vehicle to the Mitsubishi dealer to make sure I got it prepped because I was leaving to go out of town. They called Endurance and Endurance said that they will not cover it because it could have been a timing belt issue. I do a lot of traveling, which is one of the reasons why I was persuaded to get Endurance, but they have not recognized the service twice.
There are so many fine prints with Endurance. I am not an attorney. At this point, I do not have the time and the motivation to go through policies, what's what is and what's not. I work 10 to 12 hours a day, and when I need some work done, I don't wanna take a day off. I hate for my car to have to go to the shop twice and sit there for two days with nothing getting done.
The ticking, which wasn't there when I first bought the vehicle, is still happening. I don't want the car to break down and have it taken to the shop. I also don't need to wait for the engine light to come on. I had the prewarning sound before the light came on and I feel like it should be a justifiable reason for the car to be at least looked at and taken care of. I'm driving a used 2015 vehicle. I'm afraid to take it out of town with me because I can't get any warranty to service it. To service and repair it will probably be a lot of money, but why should I come out of my pocket when I have my warranty for this matter?

But all the other extended warranty places were kinda shady. So, with the recommendation from ConsumerAffairs and the pretty high rating they got from the Better Business Bureau, I decided to go with Endurance. I also love how the payments are done monthly and how I can split the payments up instead of having to pay one big chunk out of pocket. That makes it really easy for me.

We had purchased a Ford extended warranty on our pickup and I liked the way it has helped us out when we had big repairs. So when we bought the Edge, we decided that we wanted that same type of coverage because we use them a fair amount and we don't have resources sitting in the bank somewhere if we should have to replace a large dollar amount on the car for repairs. We're hoping to do a little more traveling, and the security of knowing that there's something out there when we're traveling gave us some considerations towards purchasing an extended warranty. Being an old mechanic and being aware of what costs are nowadays, I was glad to have the extra coverage from Endurance. The claims representative denied the replacement of a covered item due to something causing the item to go bad. The representative told me that "since the covered part did not just go bad all by itself, then was not covered." Meaning I have to spend thousands of dollars to get my car fixed when that is the purpose of me obtaining this warranty. I have never had to use my warranty for any issues since having the warranty and now I needed some help and could not receive any. I feel that it was unfair to take my money and provide on the promise of the warranty. Please DO NOT PURCHASE Endurance Warranty if you do not want any heartaches...

Out of curiosity, I got a warranty with Endurance. I asked questions during my purchase and they answered them. I already had the information. I checked it online, I went to the Better Business Bureau, and things of that nature. My biggest problem was they were way overpriced for what I wanted at that time. But broken down into payments, that was a little bit better. In total aggregate, though, the warranty is very highly-priced for what it is. It costs more than what the car's worth. They should lower their price. Other than that, customer service was very much friendly and courteous.

My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee just broke 100k. The manufacturer's warranty had run out. I called Endurance because they were recommended by Consumer Affairs, not a month and a half later than I’m driving and my transmission literally slips, I’m less than 1/4 mile from the dealership so I drove straight there, had my son pick me up and left it. Come to find out The transmission cooler had a leak and all the transmission fluid had burned up. It’s a sealed transmission so you can’t check it and there was no leaks ever visible to me!
It took a week for them to get an adjuster out there. I try to find a way to deny the claim because that’s the only reason they come! And then took another 5 or so days to give an answer just to tell me it wasn’t covered. Well I’ve been paying for a rental car already! So I called them and asked them to send me the adjuster's report. They said they don’t have that but he can try to call and find out why it was denied! One he said I have a commercial tag on my Jeep. When I bought the coverage they asked me do I tow trailers and do stuff like that and I told them no. I have the commercial tag is for when we have high value coins in our vehicle and we have dark tinted windows because it’s required by law to be able to have the limo tint.
Then he said because the cooler went out they might cover that, but not the transmission, and they wouldn’t cover the transmission because I knew something was wrong and drive on it. Never once did my check engine light came on I was literally a quarter of a mile from the dealership so rather than endanger my life and stop in the middle the road endanger someone else’s life I just took it there we cause I was so close.
They write these policies so they don’t have to cover anything. I’ve always performed every bit of maintenance on my vehicle and it has a sealed transmission so there is no dipstick. I had no way of knowing and these people just scammed me for my money. Don’t use these people. I’ve already contacted a lawyer. I have a appointment next week! And I’m contacting the Customer protection division of the state of Tennessee for their fraudulent and deceptive sales practices! And I recorded the phone call when I purchased it because I record everything when it comes to contracts. My advice don’t trust Consumer Affairs recommendations and definitely don’t do business with in Endurance Auto warranty!

The people at Endurance were very cordial and very professional. They called me back because I was kind of deciding on what I wanted to do with the warranty. There's just too many warranty companies out there, and there's not that much difference in the warranties. Some of them do cover a little bit more. And one thing that I did ask about was the coverage of the belts. Most of the other companies cover just about everything else too, but some of them don't cover belts. And belts are the driving force on your car, it's not going anywhere. And I know what the belts cost. They're pretty expensive. So that was one of my factors that I wanted Endurance because the car is 2003. I asked questions and they were able to answer them for me.

My auto warranty was up. When trying to review the best warranty company, a few came up and Endurance was the one that called and followed up. The representative was very professional. I had to ask her to repeat everything over again to my husband. She was very patient and willing to assist. The monthly rate was okay because usually when getting an extended warranty, you have to put everything up at that one time. I was gonna go through my credit union which actually requires everything at one time and I was very pleased to be able to get the option to break that down monthly. They were very helpful telling me to contact customer service if I had any issues. I went to my dealership and dealt with Cadillac directly. I asked them if they had any experiences that were not good with the company. My agent explained that they had dealt with Endurance and they never had a problem.

Endurance was the warranty on my car when I purchased it from a woman in Florida. However, I didn't transfer the warranty that she had in the 30 days that I was supposed to have done so. At one time, I made a complaint against Endurance. They sent me a letter saying that they had denied a claim that I had after having the warranty because of a modest discrepancy. They’re only paying a percentage of what it’s costing me for my out of pocket to have what was wrong in my car fixed. That modest discrepancy was handled that same day.
Endurance was trying to tell me that what was wrong with my car didn't qualify for the warranty my car was on. I had to be on a new warranty and that they would transfer my money to that new one. However, that would make me have to pay for the transmission problem of my car because it wouldn't be past the 30 days needed for the new warranty to be on. That wasn't okay with me. Endurance then offered to pay for what the problem was through another company. In that case, I would’ve been paying for the warranty and paying the other $1,300 more for that company fixing my car as well. That wasn't agreeable to me either so Endurance took all of those options off the table and that they weren't gonna do anything. So, I called the attorney general and put a complaint in with the Better Business Bureau.
I’m not all the way satisfied with the outcome ‘cause I still ended up having to spend out of pocket money. Furthermore, Endurance hasn't sent me the check because I haven’t sent the letter to them about the discrepancy to ratify the situation we had. That letter was, to me, an admission that they were all the way wrong but they’re not all the way taking care of the mistake that they’re supposed to be taking care of. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have sent me that letter and they wouldn't have offered me anything. ‘Cause they were really in a breach of contract.
I'm ecstatic that Endurance has called me back and reached out to me. However, I found out that the only reason they reached out and the customer service was as nice as it was is because the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau notified them what the situation was while they try to resolve it. Endurance only called me because of the steps that I took and not because their customer service is good in the first place.

(3) months ago my transmission needed replacement. At my extended auto warranty co. Endurance direction; I took my car to Aamco on Ina Rd. Tucson, AZ. 85741. It took ONE MONTH for the part (a used transmission) to be located and shipped to the shop for installation. I was charged a $100 deductible. Then, I was told my warranty company was refusing to pay for the last week of my car rental, I would be responsible for the balance of the bill from the auto rental company. I was shocked as it was not my fault this repair wasn't handled in a timely manner. Throughout the month I called the shop on a daily basis asking when my car would be ready, I was repeatedly told they haven't received the transmission yet and were waiting on the warranty company.
The used transmission finally arrived in a brown box with no information on its age, miles, or condition. When checking out, I asked Aamco of their warranty. I was told they cannot provide one due to it not being their product and knowing nothing about it, they only installed it. If something goes wrong my Endurance warranty will cover it within my contract time frame. Now, only (3) months later, my replaced used transmission provided by Endurance has failed and I'm in need of a transmission replacement again. I've been told by Endurance they will not cover a car rental and I can submit the bill to the supplier of the transmission when the claim is closed.
When I asked Endurance for the supplier name and contact information, I was refused and told they will give it to me only when the claim has been closed. Endurance told me, the standard is the time it takes to get the part to the shop plus one day for installation. However, this puts a hardship on me due to a lack of my ability to confirm reimbursement with the unknown supplier.
Meanwhile I'm having to put my car rental on my credit card during holiday rates without confirmation of reimbursement by unknown supplier. Again, having no idea of a time frame supplier will provide the part to the shop. Only 3 months ago it took them a MONTH. This is a time is of the essence matter, as I, or no one have unlimited funds to pay for that kind of time frame for a rental car without confirmation of reimbursement. I want my replacement to be handled in a timely manner and I want a new or reliable transmission installed in my vehicle. I was told I won't be responsible for the $100 copay this time.

Long story short, I purchased a Premier Extend Warranty for my vehicle. I was told by the seller (Auto Icon) that everything would be covered. Read the brochure and it starts with ALL internally lubricated parts within the engine PLUS a "detailed parts list". So when I made my claim for (Oil cooler leaking located within the engine "foreign engine") I was denied and was told "unfortunately you had purchased a Component parts warranty and only the parts listed would be covered." Basically if it's not on the list it's not covered. BIGGEST SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE this extended warranty.
There was some other repairs needed for my vehicle and I understand normal wear and tear from every day use, basically maintenance is not covered BUT when your brochure say "ALL INTERNALLY Lubricated PARTS within the ENGINE" and your claims department has to give me a detail EXPLANATION what they really meant so they don't have to cover the claim, is a SCAM.

Endurance gave me the most for my money. They knew what they were talking about when I was purchasing the warranty. But when I submitted a claim, it was not a good experience. I took my car in because it was making some funny noises when I went down the road. I left it at the dealership Thursday night, and Friday morning, they checked it out, said what was wrong with it, contacted Endurance insurance company. And they said that they were gonna have to send out one of their people to come look at it. They were supposed to come on Monday, but they didn’t get there till Tuesday. The guy who came there on Tuesday and checked the car out, agreed that it needed to have done to it what the dealership said needed to have done to it, and then said that Endurance would contact them with the okay information. By the afternoon, we had not heard back from Endurance at all.
It was a little before noon when the dealership finally called, and then Endurance said they still needed to get the information back from the guy who came out and looked at the car and get that situated. And then they wanted the dealership to resend all the information they had already sent them on Friday about what was wrong with the car. The dealership spent almost two hours being transferred and being placed on hold from one person to another only to have them say that they needed to contact me to get the okay to do the work on the car. But by the time I told them that I wanted them to do work on the car, it was already Thursday, and I needed my car Friday evening because we were going on a trip.
The dealership was doing everything they did. They had all the parts waiting there. But it wasn’t until Thursday afternoon was they were able to get the go ahead from Endurance was going to pay, and I told them to do it. So they did not have my car ready for our two-week vacation. We had to take my husband’s smaller car. I won’t be back to get my car until December 2nd. It was a little ridiculous that it took Endurance almost a week to okay the work on my car.
There was a communication issue and the second party that needed to come out and verify the damage should have given a better window of when this person was gonna come. It came out that I had some transmission issues, so it was deemed as I should not be driving the car. They said the guy was coming out on Monday and that guy should have been out on that day. There was a two-day delay because of their person. Also, they shouldn’t have needed the dealership to resend information.
I had called trying to find out if I could get a car rental. It took me 45 minutes from being handed to one person to another person, only to have them all send me back to the very first person about whether or not I could get the car rental. The very first person should have been able to have said, “Well, they would only pay once there’s a claim number.” And there was no claim number until Tuesday or Wednesday after I had my car in at the dealership. They also said they would only do it for about three days. But they had my car for over a week before my car was finished. I called the other day from the dealership that my car was ready. It was repaired.

In the policy it says I can cancel my warranty in the first 30 days without any penalty. When I talked with my mechanic he reviewed my policy and mentioned that it doesn't cover much for what I pay and I decided to cancel.
Here come the worst customer support by Endurance. My calls got dropped and I was transferred from agent to another and no one cancelled my warranty. They simple ignore you and say "why did u sign up then?" Terrible customer support, I can't imagine what happens if I would have a claim with them. After my call being dropped and transferred for no reason for many times, one of them mentioned that he cancelled my warranty, but I never received confirmation of the cancellation. So I called back asking for confirmation of the cancellation and a lady explained that my policy is still active and has never been cancelled. Again the same story happens. For this car I also bought warranty from Endurance where the seller showed me that pretty much everything was covered. However once I actually ran into some issues with my transmission I was told that my automatic transmission had a manual type clutch, and manual clutches was not covered.
I tried to argue the case that if it is an automatic transmission with ZERO manual input from the driver it can not be a manual clutch. I told them that their marketing was extremely misleading (which the manager I had on the phone agreed to). He then follow it with "we have never covered this and we will never cover it" and then he hung up the phone. I did the month trial and I compared coverage based on what I needed at the time and how we use our vehicles. Endurance's specialists were very helpful and they tried to do what they could do and find out discounts. However, for the miles and how we drive our vehicles, their warranty wasn't gonna be worth the money. Still, purchasing it was very easy.

However, I told them to make sure that the payment for my insurance comes out of my bank account. I told them my bank account information then they took it out the first time. That time, it didn’t come out. I then told them to switch it to my HSA. They said it wasn't coming out of there either. When I checked my bank account, it just came out. Still, I feel comfortable being able to submit a claim to them.

My experience with Endurance Auto Warranty was confusing. I was online and asking for more information and even before I finished filling out whatever questionnaire they had, they called me. The gal I spoke to was pleasant, knowledgeable and answered my questions. She had to go to her manager a couple of times for exemptions on things, like changing on the pricing, and when she came back, she said, "We can do that."
However, the aftermath of the purchasing process has been questionable and I'm still questioning it now. I looked on the internet and read the reviews again, but most of the comments have been positive. Endurance sent me a letter that said my price was going to change within 30 days of making the purchase. When I called them, they said not to pay any attention to the letter. It was an error. Then a week after, they sent a letter to my wife saying the same thing. We called them and they said not to pay any attention to it. It was an error. Then next week, we got another letter for my wife. Why all the confusion? It makes me wonder what's gonna happen if I have a claim. Are they gonna give me the runaround the same way?

When I talked to Endurance, they said I could take it back to the dealership to get repairs done on it, and it was the deciding factor. I didn't wanna go outside the dealership to have work done on it 'cause I'm used to taking the car back to the dealership to have work done. The rep was real straightforward with everything and friendly. He told me the payment, and it was right in line with what I was looking for. He was real laid back, honest about everything, and explained everything to the T. Once he finished, I was definite on what I wanted. So far I've only made one payment, but it was pretty simple.

If I could give Endurance ZERO stars I would. Biggest scam on earth. I bought the most expensive plan they had thinking I'd have great coverage. Every time I bring my car to the shop, NOTHING is covered. I had to replace my engine when the oil gasket blew! My sway bar broke and they said that wasn't covered. Now I need a tow and rental coverage because my alternator died. The alternator should be covered, but the tow is only covered for $75 and the tow truck wants $125. The rental is only covered if the covered repair takes more than 4 hours to do, and the rental coverage people told me most repairs take 3 hours or less. When I said, "So I basically am paying you for nothing?" the customer service guy HUNG UP ON ME. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! What a scam.

I purchased a 2001 Corvette, and even though it’s relatively simple to work on, and it does have a little miles on it. I wanted to have something that would protect me a little bit more. I’ve used a couple of the other companies before in years past. But Endurance is the only one that actually came up with a kind of like a term thing instead of a month to where it would give me an opportunity, if I decided with a contract that I wanted to just buy it all outright, and eventually, I could end up paying it all off instead of continuing a perpetual monthly payment on top of my car payment that would keep me from ever getting out from under that unless I decided to cancel it.
I got a five years term. The miles is just above double what miles my car has now, and it was less 100 bucks a month. They set a payment plan up for me, and they gave me some options. And because of the limited usage that my car had, they were able to give me a little bit more of a premium deal on the payment, which I couldn’t pass up. Without me even asking a question, the customer service reps were able to give me a little bit of clarity on a couple of items that I did have some questions on. When the email came in and they have my packet, they kinda answered it for me.

Update, 11/13/2019. After being contacted by an Endurance rep, I have updated my review. They are sending me a check for the part involved. The reason for this was a truthful review of what happened from beginning to present. They admitted to making mistakes with their initial handling of my wheel bearing claim. As I stated in the previous complaint, customer service was excellent. It is when dealing with claims that all bets were off. Endurance has, in my opinion, resolved my complaint within reason. Thank you Miss ** for your caring and understanding in this matter.
Original Review: Nov. 9, 2019
Purchased auto warranty for my 2009 Chevy Silverado. Contract #** ON 12/12/16. Being a former mechanic, I asked the most common questions to the sales person. Questions such as: Front end components such as ball joints, tie rods, bearings' steering boxes, etc. They told me yes as long as damage wasn't caused by damage or modifications. There is the first lie. My first claim that was denied was my glow plugs on my Duramax diesel. Should have been covered because it is considered under emissions. Claims denied it because they considered it "routine maintenance".
Second denial was just this week. My left front wheel bearing went bad. Being a former mechanic, I knew it what it was. I called customer service to ask if the left front wheel bearing was covered under my plan. She read my contract (Select Premier 60/100) and advised my plan was covered. Made the appointment for the following day at my local GM dealer. Then the phone call came from the service advisor. NOT COVERED! Called customer service. Speaking with the rep, she stated that the repair is covered and she would switch me over to claims. "Make sure you tell claims it is covered under my plan" she said. Then a get claims after on hold for ten minutes. This guy "Len" was a real charm of a guy, Completely different experience. He was confrontational. I hate confrontation.
I was frustrated because I was being told, first by the sales person and then by, not one, but two customer service rep from Endurance that my repair was covered. On the phone with these people for over a hour now. Make a long conversation short with "Len", he told me to read my contract and the customer service reps should be "re-trained". After I was on hold with "Len" for 20 mins while he was "investigating" he came back on phone, and when I didn't answer him fast enough, put on on hold for another 15 mins waiting for customer service again. Then I dealt with a supervisor named Juan. A really great guy that is most definitely a credit to his corporation and an absolutely fine gentleman. He worked with me within his limits to get a good result for me. Bottom line is they denied my claim after trying to work with them in trying to find a cheaper repair facility.
Total time on phone with Endurance, 2 hrs 7 mins. Dealer visit $70.00 and no repair. One more note. Service advisor at the GM dealer stated he was on hold for 10 mins waiting to speak with a claims rep. He asked the advisor question such as: Are they OEM? Are the tires the right size? Are there any modifications on the truck at all? The truck is all original. What that tells me is they are looking to deny any claim they can! When that failed they came up with "not covered under his contract". Stay away from Endurance! Bait and switch company. Don't go to their Facebook page to look at their reviews! All lies! Do your research on this company and get real reviews!
I bought this plan to specifically take care of repairs like mine so I wouldn't have to do them myself. After spending 2700.00 on this plan, it is useless! BUYER BEWARE! ENDURANCE IS A BAIT AND SWITCH COMPANY THAT DENIES MORE CLAIMS THEN THEY HONOR!! My advise is that if you want a extended warranty plan, get it through your vehicle manufacturer. I had the Ford ESP plan and they never denied any claim I had. And I had quite a number of claims with them. If you abuse your vehicle with Endurance, forget a oil change on the engine or transmission, they will deny the claim. Do your research before purchasing any of these extended warranties. I will do the job tomorrow for 213.00 and my own labor. Stay away from Endurance! Don't be a VICTIM!!

The vehicle I purchased had 156,000 miles on it but I know that its VTEC engine is quite expensive and so is the transmission. If either one of those fails, I'm looking at $9,000 so getting an extended coverage seemed reasonable that I could get a bumper-to-bumper warranty to cover an air conditioner and the main components of the drive train. I thought in the long run, it would probably be a pretty good livelihood. I tend to keep vehicles and I used to maintain it. I can rebuild engines and transmissions but I know what they cost. More frequently, I need sophisticated jigs and things like that to hold the internal part of the transmission, to take it apart, and put it back together so for me, the Endurance seemed like a good plan.
The customer service was professional. They seemed to understand what I wanted and what I was doing. They gave me several options for plans and different rates and they gave me different opportunities to pay it monthly or double up to pay it off a lot faster. When I talked to them, they seemed ready, prepared, willing and able to help if I'd have a claim. Even having paid for it, I would have coverage for the next five, six years and 100,000 miles. So if something happens to me and I know that this is paid early, then my family won’t have to worry about getting the Sequoia fixed. They can just get it to a repair station and let Endurance pay for it and work out the details.

When I purchased this warranty, I read it from front to back, and it clearly stated that everything was included as long as I take it to an ASC authorized body shop. So, I took my car to the dealer. Then the dealer called me back saying that he knew my deductible is $100, but there were some things that our warranty said they were not covering. They were only covering $135 for labor to $176. They were only gonna do half of an alignment. What does that mean? If you’re replacing a bushing, you should do a full alignment. The guy from the dealership said I would have to pay an additional $560 out of pocket. But I told him no and that the warranty clearly states that I only have to pay $100.
I called back Endurance and got the adjuster on the phone and also the guy from the dealership. Originally the dealership said that they would agree to the $135 and then said they wouldn't. So, then he came up to $150, and that they could get my car towed. So if we put it back together, I had to pay something else, and we had to get another tow truck, then we have to take the car somewhere else. So, eventually, it took us a couple phone calls of fussing and negotiating the two so they could understand.
When I told them that I read contracts on a daily basis and that I’m an attorney, the adjuster's whole demeanor changed. He said they would give the dealership the adjusted rate. So, they finally came around, but it took two hours of my time when I shouldn’t have to do that. We got everything ironed out and my car is getting fixed now. But I shouldn’t have to go through all of that. I don’t wanna go through the hassle and argue with Endurance for them to pay and get my car fixed every time I take it to the shop.

It was one thing right after the other, so I didn't stay with them and I went to Endurance. Endurance has been great. The representatives were fabulous and the one I spoke with went over the plan step-by-step. She gave me her direct line and she said, "If you have any problems, call me back." She also told me, "This is your down payment. This is what you're gonna pay every month." So I did that and whatever she said is what took place. Purchasing was really easy and they sent me my information.
I needed to call the rep back, so I did and we went over the policy again to make sure everything was correct with the mileage and all. I wanted to make sure they had the correct mileage because CarShield put the wrong mileage in my previous contract and not me. I told them what I had on that truck and that we always travel. Comparing CarShield and Endurance, I tell everybody not to use CarShield. They wouldn't cover my truck when it was in the shop and that was $3,500. If you're wondering how this place has so many 4 and 5 star reviews I think it's safe to say they must be writing all of their own reviews. I have a 2009 BMW 335i, I've had the contract for 7+ months with no issues. Out of nowhere the car started going from 30mph to 60mph on the highway. We find out it's due to an issue with my timing gears (which are called Vanos solenoids in BMWs, timing gears = Vanos solenoids in all BMW vehicles). I purchased the highest level contract available for my car and timing gears are covered in my contract. I even asked BMW dealerships to confirm that BMW timing gears are called Vanos solenoids.
Since this would be a $4k repair Endurance denied the claim, saying Vanos solenoids are not covered and claiming they are timing chains instead of timing gears, even though BMW themselves say this is untrue!! Crazy loophole and super frustrating, we will now be taking them to court for the price of the repair as the car is unsafe to drive.
If you have a luxury vehicle please do not consider this company as they try to find loopholes to not cover the parts for expensive repairs. It makes me so sad that companies can take advantage of consumers like this. To make matters worse their management hasn't called us back and hasn't done anything to resolve the issue (thank you, Len). Instead they've asked for paperwork proving frequent oil changes (thank you, Mario), which we provided. The paperwork shows the car has been serviced perfectly and they still deny the claim. They even denied a claim for a couple hundred dollars for engine mounts saying the engine mounts (which are clearly covered in the contract) are faulty due to "wear and tear." Please save yourself the heartache and the headache. AVOID ENDURANCE AT ALL COSTS.

Endurance worked with me on the payment plan. It’s a bit higher than what I’d like to. I'd pay $100 deductible and all costs would be from the policy. They don’t cover fluids in the vehicle, but they’ll do simple and major stuff. I will be filing a claim next Tuesday because the vehicle wouldn’t start and it’s cold. At the same token, that shouldn’t be the reason why it’s not starting, so I don’t know if it’s the battery or if there’s something else with it. I did it again as I was standing inside the building. It went on, then went off. When I walked to the vehicle, I went to start it, pushed the button, and I heard a loud ticking sound. So it had a hard time starting but I finally started it. I came straight home and it was 10 something last night with crazy snow. After I dropped my granddaughter and my great-granddaughter off at preschool, I went straight to the Chrysler dealer because the weather was too bad to have a car broken down on the road. I told them I had Endurance insurance, gave Tom the information and I got a call from Tom saying that they denied the coverage.
I called Endurance. They said it was denied because I reported the wrong mileage. I remember the day I called, I couldn't read the VIN number from the garage so I had to pull the car out into the sun to read the VIN number. So right now, I'm heated.

She said, "I have Endurance. I got them off the TV." Lo and behold, later that day, I saw the commercial on TV and I called them. I spoke with Kenneth and he had me go get a copy of the last service that I had on the car to show the last time it was serviced with the mileage. It was with Jiffy Lube and my husband drove there to get the receipt. I called them and as I was on the phone with Endurance, Kenneth heard the Jiffy Lube rep say that the service date was 9/21 with 166,283 mileage. I gave them a call. I spoke with a guy, and he explained things pretty well. I stayed on the phone with him about 20 minutes, and I told him to let me think about it over the weekend. I spoke with my brother about it. He said that they seemed to be a little higher, but I told him the things that they guy told me, and he said maybe I should go with them.
I ended up calling Endurance and I went ahead and signed up. Then I got another call back a day later from someone else who was calling to sign me up because they didn’t know I’d sign up already. Everything is going okay with Endurance but they’re a little slow on getting materials out to the customers. In my case, I paid them money and I didn’t receive any information for a long time. I even had to call back and ask them to send me materials. When I called back, I was able to get the person I spoke with to send me an email link to my account. It was maybe a week or two after that that I finally received it in the mail.

My warranty was up and I considered about four companies. The price, the service that was gonna be provided and my deductible were the deciding points for me. A couple other companies gave me a price. I said, "Okay. I'm gonna check around." And they said, "That price is only good for the day." Well, that immediately turned me off. I felt I was being pressured at that point. Those companies were taken off my list immediately. With Endurance, the only thing their rep requested was that I’d call him back directly, which I did. Their rep went in detail and he answered all my questions. They were gonna extend my payment on over five years, and I elected to do it over one year. So, I was happy I could do that, because I don't like having long payments. Overall, I was very happy with the purchase and the service I received from them.

We have the monthly fee on our credit card so it's easy to pay. We're both retired and on a fixed income now, and with the expenses going up on vehicle repairs, having the warranty gives us peace of mind.

I was gonna get a new car but I decided to hang on to this one for a while, and it didn’t have a warranty on it so I figured I would just get an extended warranty in case something does go wrong with it before I'm ready to get a new car. I went online and some companies sent me a few quotes. And Endurance was the first company I called, and everything seemed pretty good. The pricing was a little higher, but I still decided to go with them. I had to reach back out because I never received any confirmation of the service contract that I purchased. And I still haven't received anything in the mail. They told me they were gonna mail a card and a complete package of what my coverage was. I've been waiting on it for about three weeks, and they told me I should have it in 10 days and I still haven't seen it. But other than that, everything was good. I’m paying monthly, and I'm happy with the price that I'm paying. And over the phone, they were all wonderful.

My automobile had passed its initial purchase warranty and I had recently moved down to Nashville. The roads down here are terrible, and so I figured I needed another extended warranty at least while I’m driving my car every day now. I considered a couple of companies online. I had seen that Endurance was the highest-rated and the lowest cost. They also got back to me the quickest. So that was the initial one that I went with. I filled out an online form and they called me five seconds later. Their response was super prompt.
Their customer service was great. I was given a bunch of different package options and I went with the one that I felt was most appropriate. It was a five-year, another 100,000-mile coverage. So, the purchasing experience was great and I’ve got the extended warranty that I needed. However, the card that I gave them for the payment plan expired last month. I haven’t found a way to log in to my account, my profile, and update my card payments. I’m gonna have to call them today. But other than that, everything has been fine.

My car is a 2004 Taurus and when I got it, it had 85,000 miles on it. A week after I got the car, Endurance called me and asked me about the warranty. But the call was like, “Do it now." The salesman was telling me not to wait until the car gets over 90-something thousand miles because then I wouldn't be able to get the warranty. That’s how I ended up giving them my credit card number. But I didn't know it was gonna take my money right there because I was gonna wait. I know some things would need to be paid for but it kinda put me in a bind. I’m starting a new job so my money is kinda short. It was 180-something dollars and it should be a month-to-month. I’m gonna have to skip it this month. I’ve had this going on two months since I had the car and I haven’t received anything through the mail either. I haven’t received any kind of package or coverage. But I believe the company stands behind what they say they would do.

WARNING: Do not purchase a warranty from Endurance, especially if you own a 2012 - 2016 Ford Focus. I bought a Ford Focus for my son and purchased the Supreme warranty. Ford’s PowerShift transmission has been known to have issues. I was assured by their representative that ALL the transmission components would be covered under this warranty. Well, when the clutch in the automatic transmission failed, I was denied a claim. Endurance stated they do not cover Ford’s Powershift transmission because “it is not a traditional automatic transmission”...whatever that means.
I now have to spend nearly $2000 to get the transmission fixed. Very disappointing, the purpose of a warranty is to avoid situations like this. These companies have proven time and time again to be untrustworthy and able to find loopholes as to why they can deny a claim. I would have been much better off saving the downpayment they require and putting away the monthly charge in savings.

They won't let you talk edgewise, blow things out of proportion and are full of pomp. But I didn't have any issues with the Endurance guy. He told me what I wanted to hear and explained to me all the options and what the coverage was. I also got an additional thing that gives me tire repairs and other stuff as part of the package. My wife looked on the list for good extended warranty providers, and she gave me Endurance's name and called and since the truck is in my name, they wanted to speak to me. I gave them the vehicle identification number and they looked everything up. The rep was very helpful. He asked questions about the truck and what my wife uses it for, and I told him. He asked the mileage on it, then he started asking technical stuff, like has it ever been in an accident, and I told him we never had an accident with it.
The only thing was that instead of putting the warranty on a credit card, I wanted to be able to put it on my check cards, and they said they couldn't do that. So, they asked to put the $107 on a credit card which charges 26% interest instead of taking that out on my checking account every month to where it is not charged the interest. The rep said that they couldn't do that with my Visa checking card because it is also considered debit. So I just gave him my regular credit card number.

If I knew what I know now, I would never have purchased this warranty from Endurance. The sales pitch is drastically different than the actual experience when making a claim. I've had 3 claims... The first one was finally accepted after much wrangling as their initial default answer was no; the latter 2 claims were not accepted. In fact on the last one, they simply responded to the Mercedes dealership that I had a "drive train warranty" and the claim was for something else so the answer was no. The fact that I had a Select Premier contract which covers a hell of a lot more than the drive train was not disclosed.
Reminded me of dealing with health insurance where typically the default answer is no without really even considering it. So, for $3600, I have a warranty that I consider to be basically worthless... Either they say no or I'm faced with dealing with the emotional and time energy of fighting them. My recommendation is a firm no... unless they move some of the sales people to claims so that the huge disconnect between the sale pitch and the claims process is eliminated.

I’ve a got a 2017 Nissan Titan that had about 84,000 miles and it’s a hell of a good truck. I really like it. It was an option of either trading it in and coming up to 100,000 to get me a new one or extending the warranty. I decided that I was gonna keep it for another 100,000 miles and I checked around different warranties. I was primarily looking for a powertrain warranty and an electrical component warranty, and that’s what I got. Endurance made it pretty easy. I looked at their rating and they had an A+. Several were A+ and some were B. I also checked the dealership and they said they’d only had one time with Endurance and they had no problem with them.
The guy I worked with at Endurance was really good too. All the way around, there was no hard sell from Endurance. Some of those other companies were hard sell. This guy said, “Do it or not do it, it’s up to you.” He told me what the plan was and that they won't change it. He said I had three days before I could use it and I told him I wasn't planning on using it yet. I still had 20,000 miles left on this warranty but I wanted something to carry me up to 100,000.
The price also seemed to be fair. I had to pay $141 upfront and then it was 64 a month. I asked if I would get a break if I just paid the whole thing and he said no. Whether you pay $64 a month or the $2,400 upfront, it was $64 a month for 3 years at 0%. He said it would be all the same. Then he said, “If you like 0%…” I said, “I love 0%." I told him to just give me the $64 a month as long as they would debit out of my checking account every month and I don't have the hassle of bills payment. He said that was the way they liked to do it and I said good. They’d already hit my checking account for a couple so it works out okay.

The dealership just called me a day later saying that the warranty company now wants them to rip open the transfer case which is $1300 dollars and not covered by the warranty to see what went wrong and to see if it's covered. Though Endurance charged a bit higher than CarShield which I had, that made me switch. Now, I don't like the fact that Endurance charged me an additional $20 a month for the roadside program and for the tire program. With CarShield, it was just a month-to-month pay. Additionally, Endurance's customer service team and I didn't get off to a good start because they denied my claim for a portion of my motor. They said that part wasn't covered because AutoNation Dodge, the company that was working on my vehicle, said the problem was with my thermostat housing.
I need to fully understand what is covered and what is not covered. I ended up spending $500 out-of-pocket to get that housing and the thermostat put on. I picked the car up last Thursday, and on Friday, it ran hot again. Since it happened again, it was like AutoNation wanted to work on bits and pieces instead of doing a complete diagnosis on the car to present to Endurance. And so, that's what happened. Everything was fine. They had given me everything that I wanted. The reps were excellent. They answered all the questions that I needed and were very professional. And the payments are easy because it's direct withdrawals.

My wife's key fob broke and we didn't have a spare so she was stuck and couldn’t go to work. We had to replace it. It was a Sunday Endurance's office was closed and the number was not working so I couldn't file the claim. I didn't realize that there was an after-hours number. Nobody told me that sort of thing. They sent me the terms and conditions, but they don’t point it out. Not everybody reads all the small prints.
When I called Endurance, the last person I spoke to with regards to the plan wasn’t very professional. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said that the supervisor was just gonna say the same thing she was telling me. It ticked me off that she was rude like that. I wrote down a claim number and she said that I could send it in, but it wouldn't be covered since I didn't get the approval first.

My car just came out of the factory warranty, so I needed to have coverage. I went online looking for an extended warranty, and I looked at a couple of them and Endurance worked. Making payments worked out as they just withdraw it from my checking account every month.

I cancelled my previous warranty and I kept checking around with people to understand what I needed to do to get a better deal or just to get a warranty. I was speaking with Leticia at Endurance, and we had been talking for a couple of weeks because I went out of town and came back. We kept missing one another. I went with Endurance because of her because the other people that I talked to were really pushy and they kept trying to get me to get it done. But Leticia was not that way. She was efficient, and she talked to me about pricing. She heard me out.
When I decided to move forward, Leticia sent me to a gentleman named Mike. Mike asked me if there were any problem with the car because Endurance won’t pay a claim on any existing problems or any unknown problems. But I didn’t know what that meant. I waited a few days, and thought that I don’t wanna deal with them because I felt like he was saying everything I was dreading or fearful of. If there’s a situation or if it’s an unknown problem, how would I know about it? So, I called to cancel the policy and then, I spoke with another gentleman, and he gave me a little more clarity. He said that I have a 30-day, 1,000-mile holding period, and he made it seemed like that would be the only thing. He said typically, if there’s a problem, it would be identified within a timeframe. Overall, Leticia was the high point of my experience. Everything else was within mediocre.

I did my own research and had to ask them the right questions. I got the paperwork after about two weeks and the price went up. The policy covers everything though.

First when I called the lady made me buy the top coverage. She said everything would be covered except the old change, brakes and tires. Car broke down and claim denied. Had to pay $1900 out of pocket. When I called and tried to cancel it they kept transfer me from one to another till one guy gave me a deal so I can stay. Again alternator died and claim denied again. Called and the same thing happen all over again. Missed one payment and the policy canceled and whoever spoke with me on the other phone was rude and racist because my English not perfect.. They canceled my policy and I got no refund at all. They never paid for any of my maintenance. I paid $2400 out of pocket while having a full coverage warranty. Very sketchy and shady business.

I am glad we were able to meet a resolution. Please give us a call if there is anything else we can do top help.

Endurance sucks. I went with them because ConsumerAffairs had recommended them. During my purchase, the representative was nice but he didn’t tell me everything. He told me that there's a 30-day waiting period, and so I said, “Okay.” My car is already getting old, so I figured that things are gonna start breaking down, that's why I got an extended coverage. Then, sure enough, something happened to my car right outside the 30-day period. So, I took it in, and they said that I didn’t meet the qualifications as there was supposed to be also a 1,000 miles. The person that I talked to straight out denied me, and then that was it. They turned me down. So, I had my air conditioner recharged and it's not gonna last. I still have the policy and from what I understood, between the shop and Endurance, I have to meet the 1,000-mile term first, then we go from there.

My car warranty had expired, and I thought it would be cheaper to get a warranty than to repair something major. When I was getting enrolled with Endurance, they encouraged me and told me about the coverage and the cost. Making the payments was easy and we set up an autopay from the bank. I liked the fact that it's a five-year warranty, but I just have to pay for three years.
However, I have not yet received the policy or the card. They said their record shows that it had been mailed and received. I explained to them that I do not have it. I verified the address and they had it correct. And then, I was supposed to get another one within 5 to 10 business days, but it has now been over three weeks without anything. So, I am considering dropping them if they can't follow through better than that. Also, what I really hate about them is all the emails and the phone calls before I decided to go with them. And even after I went with them, they would still pester me. I got a call from another Endurance agent, and he said he could have given it to me cheaper. But I'm that not stiff, and then I started to think it was just a scam.

I signed up with Vet Cars something Car Shield, and I got informed that they had a lawsuit against them. I was on my computer, and I was filling out an application to be quoted different prices, and Endurance called me. They were on the phone before I got through the survey. And so the rep talked me into it, and so far, I’ve been very happy with it. Everything was lovely and it's on automatic payment. One thing though in case I do have a claim, I’d like to have a card, instead of a big sheet of paper. You don’t carry a big sheet of paper around with you all the time. I’m 82 and I don’t get out much.

I just received a letter and I'm not okay with it. It said that my insurance is 221, and the pay monthly is gonna be for 116. When I pay the contract, the amount is 241 not 221, and I'm wondering why. I need to talk with the Endurance guy who contacted me to buy the contract. We have Endurance Auto Warranty on our Nissan and I have it on my other vehicle also, a 2011 Ford Expedition. It has been with Endurance four and a half years and we've already renewed. I like the cost and the benefits I get out of it. So far, we’ve made three claims on the Expedition and they paid it all, except for the $100 I have to pay. Usually when I call, the customer service team takes care of everything. Endurance should keep things the way it is and take care of my vehicle. That’s all I care about. I’d tell all my friends to get them too.

I purchased a new vehicle and wanted to be covered with a better warranty than the dealership offers. I did about three companies, but I chose Endurance Auto Warranty because the cost was a little bit less. However, I did not like that the $250 rewards thing was not explained well. I would rather have them just give a $250 Visa so we can use it how we choose.
You have to sign up for the rewards program and they give you $250 to spend, but there are only so many different places you can spend it in. Then it expires when you redeem the coupons. When I started to use the rewards, there was nothing worth using the rewards on. They had shopping, but none of the stuff that I really buy. I called them and said that there was nothing to pick from to spend the $250 on. They told me that I could not use it if I didn't wanna use it. It's not free money. It's my money and I still have to spend it, but they're just giving discounts on different services. Other than that, everything else is okay.

My cousin did some research for me because I was busy at the time. He said he read the reviews on Consumer and that was what brought me to Endurance. The first guy I talked to was in the training process, so he didn't explain the whole process. I wanted a full bumper-to-bumper warranty and all he was explaining was the basic warranty with just engine and drivetrain and that. But it didn't even take but 20 minutes and the manager called back and I got a bumper-to-bumper for 75,000 miles. I have a '15 Ram Sport and it's everything but a moonroof and cooled seats and airbags. It has heated seats, heated steering wheel, folding mirrors, auto dim, and everything, so now all of that is covered. And it's only $93 a month for $3,300 for three years and the other two years are free.
I gave them a typical scenario. I said I live in Illinois and that once a year, we go down to Arkansas. Say, I'm driving my truck and something goes wrong with it and we're stuck halfway, I asked what was gonna happen. They said to call them immediately and they would send a tow truck out. The tow truck takes us to the nearest certified place which is a Dodge dealer and they would work on it. And if it's a part that needs to be replaced, something they can't get in that day, they could give me a rental car and hotel stay up to three days. They could extend it further, once I call in after the three days. They even pay for your meal. So, if you are stuck in a hotel under Endurance, they pay for your meal each night you're in a hotel. It's amazing just $93 a month for 3,300 and something dollars. Then after that, your other two years are free.
