I have not had a claim at this time but the initial sign up process was very easy and straightforward. The representative that I worked with was knowledgeable and very helpful. Hopefully moving forward any claims that I may have will be handled with the same amount of ease and professionalism.

The representative from Endurance had had given me a conversation that made me feel comfortable. He told me I'd never have anything to worry about with my car and that for three years, it will be covered through any damage that might occur or any incident that might happen. I was very pleased with them. After I signed on with Endurance, I had two incidents where my air conditioning pump and something small went. They covered those.
About a year later, my transmission went. I brought it to the dealer and Endurance said, “We're only going to pay this much of it because we only cover your car up to its worth.” I had to pay $2,500 out of my pocket towards a transmission because Endurance said they were only covering part of the repair. That was never explained to me in the sales pitch. The questions I asked would have covered this but unfortunately, that small print and the verbiage that was used is very vague. When they say up to the value to the car, they don’t say up to the value your car today. I never realized that the value the car was going to be decreasing each year that I had the policy. Right now, I'm paying on an Endurance policy I can't even use because they told me I've used my benefits that I could get out of that policy. Now if I have another problem with my car, even though I’m paying Endurance, I have no coverage.
I'm very disappointed at Endurance and will never tell a friend about them. I had security till I needed them. Then when I needed them, they shafted me. What I was told verbally was not what I received contractually. They gave me 50% of the information and waited till I needed them to tell me the other 50%, which was not fair at all. I'm going to talk to my brother-in-law and see if there's a way to sue them for the money that I lost. They better hope I don't find that conversation because their guy was very selling and very telling. They should train their salespeople to be upfront about Endurance and not take advantage of people down the line because now there's nothing I can do.
If somebody doesn't have major problems with their used vehicle, they probably could get away with Endurance and pay the money. But people have to be very leery of companies like Endurance. I hope that someday, Endurance could look at the way they run their process and their operation because extended warranties are important for people like me who fall in love with a car and want to keep it. It's frustrating to find out that you’ve been sold a bill of goods when you need them.

Endurance does a pretty good job. They get the job done and they are fair. I just feel like mechanic shops try to mess Endurance over. I had a job done to my truck and Endurance denied the claim. The shop was charging Endurance $6,000 to fix my engine. They turned around and only charged me almost 4,000. I was like, “If it’s gonna be like that, getting a rental shouldn’t be so hard. If my car is gonna stay there, I should be able to get a rental with no problem.” I had to come out of my pocket $500 for a rental because I still had to get back and forth to work. People still have to do things and go about their day. When they had to go look for a rental, I feel like some type of reimbursement should do.
From my experience, the mechanic shop had my car for almost three weeks just for the transmission. The wrong transmission came in. There was a big fuss about that. It took almost four days for them to ship it back. I had to come out of my pocket for a rental, and I still had to get to work. In order for me to get to work, I still have to maintain paying Endurance and pay my bills. It becomes a problem with certain people with certain situations that deal with different problems. As far as that, the job gets done. My big thing is if the customers need a rental, they can get a rental real quick with no problem. Overall, I'm satisfied with Endurance. I would recommend them, but I’ll let people know that if their car is being held, they got to come out of their pocket for a rental until the warranty says, “All right, you can go get a rental.”

My engine went out in my truck. I had the dealership call the warranty people, and I didn't really have to talk to the warranty people. The dealership did all the talk. With Endurance, the process depends on which package you choose. So, if you choose the wrong package, you’re still kinda gonna be out of pocket yourself. I didn't choose the rental car because I was gonna have to pay for it myself.
I thought that Endurance would take care of anything that will happen to the truck based on its value. The catch to that is they'll take care of the truck based on the value, but after you pass the value of the truck, they don't take care of anything else. I gotta get a motor. I had some transmission work done on the truck maybe three years ago. I had to come out of pocket a whole lot of money because the dealerships don't wanna deal with extended warranty companies, and I had that same problem with my motor. I had to go and pick my truck up from GMC again because they didn’t wanna deal with the outside warranty company. Overall, the warranty is good. It's just the mechanics. They're making it hard on us because we chose to get an outside warranty and not go through the dealership.

I read that Endurance is pretty good so I went with them. Everything's good. For a claim I had, they covered the one part which is good. It was the timing chain. The only thing was they didn't cover the other two that I needed years ago. When I read through the things, it showed that all those parts were covered. But when one part went, they were like, "We don't cover if it leaks." The whole reason why the part goes is because it leaks. It wasn't damaged. There's no other way for this part to go other than the seal and they won't cover it because of the seal. That's the only thing I don't understand.

I had one small problem, but I kind of resolved it on my own. I had a claim where the car was having a problem, but I kept taking it and every time I would take it, they would do something different. I was having to pay, but the problem wasn't resolved. Still, I'm okay with Endurance. I'm happy with their claims process. I would refer a friend to Endurance for their service.

When I originally got Endurance last year in November, I was told they were gonna mail me my contract. I still haven’t seen it to this day. Whatever the distribution email they had going out, I never received it. They would take my money ever so happily every month on the same day but I couldn’t get a contract so I could read it. The only way that I actually got a copy of the contract was I had to call and spoke with one of the customer service reps. While I was on the phone with her, she emailed the contract from her computer to me and it popped right up.
When I called and talked to a customer service rep, she told me “If you’ve made it your three months, then you can go ahead and take your car so you could get it checked out." I took my car to the dealership and they denied the claim. When i asked why, they said, "You had two requirements. You had to hit three months, and then a certain amount of mileage. They should have told you that when you got your warranty.” I didn't have anything to read to reconfirm it before I took my car in because I haven't received the actual policy. The girl got real snippy with me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I finally got to the claims person and she was so nasty that I wanted to cancel my plan right then and there.
I wouldn't recommend Endurance anymore. I took my car not too long ago to the shop. They had my car for two weeks and they're playing back and forth with Endurance. I was told, “Endurance has to sign off on this. Endurance has to give this approval.” Endurance decided that I could wait two weeks for my car until they got ready to actually pay the claim or deny the claim. There was also something about some individual who will have to go to the dealership where my car was to check out what the issue with it was.
At that point, I learned that the warranty that I’m paying, which was near $4,200, doesn’t include the exhaust. If I needed to have my exhaust covered in a fair policy, what am I supposed to do? None of this information was even told to me. Now, I’m out of pocket for another repair. I have read that contract from side to side and from word to word. I know every part of my contract that is covered by Endurance. When I get insurance, it should be working for me. I shouldn’t be doing the work.
I want to deal with this company as less as I possibly need to. I’m really about to go ahead and just pay that thing off and be done with it. It's unreal. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a warranty company. The reason why I chose them was because they were supposed to be 4-star company. That manager supervisor at the claims department made me feel like I wasn’t taking care of my vehicle. It made me extremely mad because a couple of months prior to that, my car was in the shop. I wasn't even thinking about a warranty. If anything goes wrong with that puppy, it gets fixed up immediately whether I have a warranty or not.

We got Endurance in November, just a couple of weeks after we got our car. The signup process was good and customer service was very informative, friendly, and helpful. The reviews that I read said that the warranty was bumper-to- bumper and there are different plans that Endurance offers. That was really appealing for a used car.
We submitted a claim and a new transmission was put in the car last month. We did the Nissan dealership here in town and they dealt with Endurance. That was a blessing that Nissan did the back and forth so it was super easy on our part. It was a little bit time-consuming waiting for the Endurance people to send out their Inspector and that took a couple of days. In the end, Endurance covered the claim. We had no idea that anything like that was gonna happen with that car and just having that warranty in place was a blessing.

Salesman, service agents, every Endurance agent I spoke with ASSURED me I would only have a $100 co-pay. My alternator died, normal breakdown stuff, and all of a sudden I have a $320 co-pay. Seems endurance didn't feel like paying for the part (alternator) so I'm billed for it. Just another lying warranty scam. I'm looking for a reputable company to switch to. I have no doubt endurance has plenty of obscure clauses and fine print buried justifications they can bring up to justify the sleepy dealings, but I just wanted a straight-up and honest warranty company, not another dirty business ripping their customers off.

My experience with Endurance was relatively easy. They listened to my concerns and found me the right plan for what I was looking for and for the right price. They went to the one plan that was going to cover everything I wanted to cover and there was really only one choice for what I wanted. When I had a claim, I went to a dealership and gave them my information. They told me what was wrong with the car then they did the reaching out to Endurance for me. At the end of the service, I paid my deductible. Get Endurance. It's pretty simple and seamless. If one big thing goes wrong, it definitely pays for itself. They don't have any real arguments.

The Endurance coverage was very well explained. The only issue I had in the process was the first person I spoke with promised to call me back at a certain time to finalize the details and for me to start enrollment but did not call me back. I had to call back and got a different agent. Other than that, everything was very well handled and well explained. The second agent was very compliant and helpful.
I had a claim where my transmission was replaced. Everything was handled well ahead of what I would assume to be handled. The approval was handled quickly and the mechanic had no issues with the company as far as getting approval done. The reimbursement for the rental car was handled very quickly too. It was very easy. That was through the help and the guidance of the representative who told me about getting the car rental services.
For the car rental, I initially went with a different rental company and I ended up losing some money because I didn't realize that Endurance already had very low rates. It's up to $30 a day. When I was researching where I was going to get a rental, I went on the car rental companies' websites to decide which was going to be the cheapest. Endurance has an agreement with the rental car companies that even if you have to go past a five-day coverage, you only have to pay the discounted rate that Endurance has, so it wouldn't change.
I ended up having to pay a bit more out of pocket for the rental. Had I realized that beforehand, I would have just stuck with the Endurance-endorsed rental company and it would have been a bit easier. Other than that, I'm very happy. Endurance is definitely worth it especially if you have older cars or if you have extra funding and you're not paying a car payment and you want to make sure that your car is going to be taken care of.

The claim process went horrible. I filed my claim, and Endurance Auto Warranty told me that the unit was 100% covered. They came back and told me that they would deny my claim because the mileage on my vehicle that they got off my vehicle versus what CARFAX said was incorrect. So, it was a human error on someone else’s part, but I had to do all the legwork to get all of that rectified with CARFAX. And I had to go back to the actual dealership that put the wrong information in but the people said that they couldn't go back in the system to change it because it was over two years ago. So, I had to get with them, get a letter, and fax that. Once I got that rectified, I went back to Endurance with all of that stuff that I sent to them. And they said, “Okay.”
They sent an adjuster out that was on crutches, which was a third-party adjuster, who was unable to perform his job with checking on the vehicle to see what was going on with it. He wanted my mechanic, who owns his own shop, to stop working on other people's vehicles to do the whole claim for him so he could just put everything in the system. And he didn't call him. So he went back and denied my claim due to my mechanic not being able to do his job to help him do the adjustment for the adjuster. So, I had to go back and tell ask them what was going on. They said that my shop was rude, which was not.
I had to call back and tell Endurance what was going on. They told me, “We're not going to use your shop because he is rude and he refused to help the adjuster there.” I’m the client. I make my payments every single month, no question asked. I had to beg them. They said, “No, we’re not going back to that shop. We’re gonna use somebody else.” So, they had to call around the area where I stay at to see who will work on my vehicle. That took a couple of days. But they never found anyone. Because I told them, "No one else works on my vehicle. They’re not certified. They’re not trained to work on my kind of vehicle unlike the shop that I take my vehicle to. Because I trust him. He’s trained on foreign vehicles. He knows what he’s doing." They called around everywhere in Brunswick, but no one wanted to touch my vehicle.
So they had to go back to the shop that they said that they wouldn't use anymore, sent another adjuster out, which was the same adjuster that came out the first time they denied it, and he called and made an appointment. My shop just said, "Want to know something, Michelle? We’ll just go ahead and drive the car. Because you are the person in the middle. We are sorry all this is happening to you.” My vehicle sat at the shop for over a month before work even was done to it, because I fought back and forth with Endurance. It got so bad until I had to call the BBB and take out a claim against Endurance because everything was faulty.
So once Endurance was, “We’re gonna cover the unit,” my transmission for my vehicle was $7,000. And they refused to buy a brand-new transmission for my vehicle. So, they got me a transmission from a salvage yard that came with a 100,000-mile, one year warranty. If anything happens to it, it’s on me again. With the transmission that was delivered, my mechanic had to do certain things to put on my vehicle because it was a used transmission that would go in. It had to be all new seals. So, he had to end up opening a second claim just so Endurance could pay him for that. My actual shop had to fight with Endurance once they okayed, and they talked about the price of how much it would cost, what's the hours, and they had to fight with Endurance just to get the payment for doing the work on my vehicle. It was the worst entire claim I ever had to go through with Endurance. It was completely unprofessional.
Most of the customer service reps are completely monsters. Two people's customer service was beautiful, and they tried to help me to the best of their ability. But everything else was horrible. So, I have my shock on the left side of my truck that my mechanic submitted at the same time as the transmission issue, and Endurance said that they never received it. “Okay. You have to take out another claim. That’s a covered unit." "Okay."
My mechanic tried to start a claim for that. And Endurance said, “Oh, sure. That’s a covered unit.” And did the thing. He sent the paperwork to them, told them how much the part was. But they said, “Oh, no. We don’t cover shocks.” But it’s a one-piece component. So instead of me fighting with Endurance, I just said, “Forget it." I haven’t even got the part fixed on my truck. Because my mechanic was like, “Okay, I want to go ahead and start this claim now while your truck is here and you have it not wait anywhere. So, they’ll know that this was already there. They wouldn’t think that it just happened."
At the end of the day, I wanted to see where it was going at again just to even do that. On top of all of that, all of the runaround, and all of the work I had to do Endurance, and fix this and that, and they would not do it because of this or that, I didn't even have a rental car. I had to beg people to take me to do all the running around. Because they refused to even give me a rental car until the claim was approved. So, my claim didn’t get approved until almost near a month. They didn’t care. My claim didn’t get approved until over a month because I had to keep going and fighting back and forth. I fix one thing, and they would find another reason why they didn’t want to pay on my claim. I fix that issue, and they would find another reason. I was so close to getting a lawyer and suing Endurance.

The person that helped me was very understanding and knowledgeable in explaining the program to me. The coverage is okay too. I don't have a problem with having it and the services that it provides. I just have a problem with the timeframe it takes to complete a claim. I just recently used the coverage for motor mounts, and someone had to come out to the auto place to confirm that I did need the motor mounts. It went through a couple of weekends at the auto place, and nobody came. When I called, they said someone should be there in 24 hours, but they weren't there in 24 hours.
The weekend came up then it was a holiday, so I had to wait for that. I was dissatisfied with it, and this is not the first time. I had something done to the car a few months before that, and it was the same thing. I had to wait a week before I got my car back. This time, I was without my car for six days. That's the only vehicle I have so I had to find a way to work. In the end, my car was fixed, I paid my deductible, but it took so long to follow up. If I was asked about Endurance, I would say it’s better to have something than nothing for coverage. People are just gonna have a time with those claims once they put them in.

Signing up with Endurance Auto Warranty took me 20 minutes. They were very assuring. But my most recent experience with them has been fairly frustrating, because they denied substantial portions of my last repair that I needed done. There was a malfunction in the sliders in the sunroof of my truck. And to do that, Ford quotes a certain number of hours, while Endurance quotes a certain number of other hours from a different source. And they were unwilling to pay the flat rate hours by Ford so, I had to pay the $1,000 of difference in the labor, which I have absolutely no power to negotiate over. It was not relayed ahead of time.
In addition, Ford identified a problem with two components in their sunroof that were originally manufactured as one. So, they separated the rails from the motor. Endurance refused to replace the motors because they were already paying for the one part as it was originally manufactured. But the motors were $500 a piece additional. So, when I was sold the warranty saying, “We have you covered with 100% of electrical and mechanical defects,” that statement is a lie.

Endurance Auto Warranty covered some things, but they're very slow to respond. The vehicle was in the shop for three weeks, and it should have been there four days. The Ford dealership where I go to supplied the rental to me for free because I'm a long-term customer of theirs. They wouldn’t supply me with a vehicle. At the same time, the water pump was weeping. They want me to be stuck on the side of the road. They don't realize that a water pump weeping is going out. And they said it was coming out of a weep hole. That's how a water pump starts telling you that it's going out. So, it's just a common industry standard thing.
And they mentioned that, “Hey, your water pump is going out.” And Endurance didn't want to cover it because it hadn’t gone out completely. They tried to word it 25 different ways and say, "Regardless, it's going out. It's gonna go out completely." I even asked, “Do you want me to be stuck on the side of the road? Is that what you want?” And they said, “Well, no. But it was weeping. It could be a gasket.” It's not a gasket when it's weeping out the weep hole. It means the bushing is out and that it's about to go out. So, I had to pay the extra to do that.

I had AAMCO call Endurance direct, and I didn't receive a call from Endurance after the adjuster went out there to see whether or not I needed a new transmission. They just went ahead and told AAMCO what they were gonna do, and AAMCO filled out a contract where Endurance paid 2,300 and I had to come up with 2,600 for a new transmission. All that time, I was without a car for almost a month and a half, and I didn't like that I had to end up paying 2,600. The rep also told me that that was the end of the money that I had in their account. I didn't understand that, but now, I'm seeing the light that it’s just like a savings that I put into. When it's gone, it's gone. Customer service was okay, then it wasn't, depending on who I talked to. I needed a rental car and couldn't get one because the funds were depleted.

I drove out of town. The transmission was acting funny. I took it to a Hyundai dealership and found out I needed a new transmission. I had to call Endurance to get an authorization to do the repair. That was the only downside. I had to wait about four days before Endurance sent out somebody to verify the repair. They were coming out to make sure that the Hyundai dealership had properly diagnosed the problem. But once they confirmed it, Hyundai ordered the transmission. In about three days, the new transmission came in, they put it in back into the car. I’m satisfied with Endurance. With that transmission, I got my money’s worth. Plus, it was five years, 60,000 miles. I have four years or 40,000 more miles left on the warranty.

The towing portion of the service was awesome. I called my claim in and they scheduled a tow truck to pick up my truck. I received a text message telling me the claim was started. When they assigned it to a tow truck company, they sent me a message saying that the company was coming. They let me know the timeframe when they were gonna get there.
Once my vehicle got to the dealership, the tow truck company rep told the technician I had Endurance. They wanted the dealership to luck at the truck so they came up with a diagnosis and called it in. Then, they wanted to send an inspector out. That took a week. They looked at the truck and still didn't authorize a repair. It took them close to another week to get one of the senior auditors to review the case. I'm glad that it was authorized but it just took forever. At that point, we were like at a month and I was like, "Well, this is ridiculous. If you're gonna approve it, approve it. If you're gonna deny it, deny it. What are my options here?"
Also, maybe some follow-up with the customer after the claim has been processed by the dealership will alleviate me having to call in. I felt like I was bothering the repair center more than I should have. But they were awesome and they stayed in touch with Endurance.

I recently did a claim and the young lady that I spoke with, Tanya, did an excellent job. She was very nice. She had a pleasant attitude and she tried to do the very best she could to take care of the problem. This was the first time I've used Endurance since I've had the plan and I’m not completely pleased with the outcome of it. My warranty, as of today, got cancelled because of the tires on my car. One would have thought I had 24s or 20s, but these tires are 18s. That wasn't fair to me because I purchased the car from a dealership with those tires on it. I'm a lady and I never knew that the tires on the vehicle were wrong until they told me. It looked normal. I’ll just find another warranty company to go with and I will be sure to tell them about the 18-inch tires on my BMW X5 SUV.
I've never had this problem before, and my suggestion to Endurance, before they write a policy for customers that do not live in the local area, they might want to find a facility within that city that people can take their vehicles to. They should be able to do a walk around to make sure that everything that’s on that vehicle as far as the exterior part of it, like tires, is correct. I asked about all the money that I paid and the young lady put in a request for that reason. I wish people could be as honest as I am today.

With my most recent claim with Endurance, the beginning was rough. I told the lady that the vehicle had a check engine light come on. When I went to the local AutoZone, they told me that it was something inside the transmission. The truck was already scheduled to go into the dealer for an airbag recall on the 13th. So she told me that whenever I had to bring it to get the airbag recall thing, just have the vehicle checked and call back and let them know what they said.
I called them back and they told me that the transmission in the truck wasn't any good and they had to do a claim to see about having it repaired. They called me back the next day and told me that Endurance said they weren't paying. The vehicle had 109,290 miles in June. I got the vehicle in October at 109,290 miles. But the vehicle was serviced sometime between June and October. The oil stick said it had 291. He said, “Oh, no. We not covering the transmission.” But it worked out. They did what they had to do.

So far, the claim submission process with Endurance has been good. The hardest challenge was going to a local auto shop close to my house because they never worked with Endurance before. They had to call and make that connection. I gave them the paperwork. It took a little time for them to get paid, but eventually, they got paid, and now, they're in their system. It's smooth-sailing for them now, they said.
I drive a pretty new car. 2018 Acura RDX. All of a sudden, the sensors went off on the freeway saying the transmission was overheating. I took it into an Acura shop dealer because they have the Acura technician. Their techs looked at it. They said I had a faulty torque converter in the transmission. So, they had to take it all apart. I said, "How much is it gonna cost?” They said it was roughly 4,000 or so. Endurance, because it passed that certain dollar threshold, had to send somebody to come to take a look at it. Once they assessed it, he said, “Yeah.” They covered it because it was the full coverage of the warranty. It went smoothly. The dealership just dealt with Endurance directly and got paid that way. It worked out.

Endurance replaced my transmission. My truck was driving fine, other than the speed not up getting up to 40 miles per hour. It will switch gears, but it would jump hard. It also shook a little. I took it to the shop, let them look at it and they said I needed a trans flush. The guy was about to do it, then he said he didn't want to do it because my trans was slipping. I reached out to Endurance and told them what was going on. They told me to just park my vehicle as soon as possible and do a claim, and they took care of it. It was nice. However, they don't explain too much in details on what can and can't be covered. They gave me what they told me, but once stuff started happening, they couldn't cover the stuff I needed.

Udpated on 7/25/2022: This review is a continuation of my 1st review on Endurance Auto Warranty on 07/14/2022. I called Endurance to cancel my contract and was emailed a cancellation form to process my request. I completed the cancellation form and sent it back the same day (Thursday, July 14th, 2022) as directed by the representative. I also requested a refund of the money paid for the contract and I was advised that I would receive a decision once the cancellation form was received.
Today is Monday, July 25th, 2022 and no response from Endurance so I called to request a confirmation on receipt of the cancellation form and I was advised that the form was received and the contract was cancelled on July 14th, 2022 but that there was no refund request on file and that I had to call to request the refund! I made the refund request again.... So I guess I'll now have to call them again in a couple of weeks for an answer on the refund. I have never experienced such a disconnect between a company and their customer like this before. Buyer Beware!!!
Original review: DO NOT PURCHASE! This is a scam. They tell you it covers most everything and if you have a claim they lie say they didn't get information, they didn't approve the shop you used, they didn't approve the service, etc. Even when you have the documentation that you did everything they asked. They don't call you back and if you then check on the status they tell you that your case is closed. TERRIBLE COMPANY! I lost $800.00, but they will not get another cent.

I bought a Mercedes from a friend of ours. They had just put Endurance Warranty on it the month before. It was a $50 charge to transfer the warranty and we did that. My experience with Endurance was fine up until I had to use it last month. I got backdoored about a statement on the policy that is not highlighted nor put to forefront of importance. That should be forefront and put that as number one or number two on page one.
What happened was we had the car towed and down to an Endurance Warranty shop in Pelham, about 10 miles from here. They called me the next day and said it was the timing belt. The guy said he would get me an estimate and call me. He did. He said Endurance should cover the repair. I gave him my husband's number and they conversed. He said that it was gonna be between $6,800 to $9,000 to fix it. He also said, “Let me get ahold of Endurance, give them the information and see what they're gonna do.” He did that then called my husband back. He told him that Endurance would only cover $4,950 of it. We had looked at the policy, read it, and it didn't say anything about a limited amount that Endurance would pay.
The lady that I was on the phone with that time about that was not the nicest person that they have working there. She said something about the value of the car instead of Kelley Blue Book. I told her I didn't know anything about that and she said that was how they value cars that are under their warranties. We paid the rest of the cost which was a chunk out of our savings. When we bought the car, I called Endurance 4 days later wanting to transfer the warranty. I gave them my name, address, email, and phone to redo that first page. They said they'd take care of that. But everything I get in the mail has my address on it and the previous owner's name on it, or it will have my name on it and the previous owner's address. I called and told Endurance they needed to correct it.

Oneonta Ford tried to get Endurance to let them put a new transmission in it but they said no. They approved an old one. They would tell me something then Oneonta Ford would tell me the opposite. I've been with Endurance Auto Warranty for two years and they've helped me out a lot. But the last claim was difficult. I was without my car for nine days, waiting for them to send one of Endurance's inspector to the auto dealer. It took them a long time to send the inspector there to approve the work to be done. But when he got there, he saw what they were going to do. He immediately approved it. The instructions were, "He cannot take the car off of the lot. 'Cause if he takes it off the lot, then we're going to deny it." So, it has to stay there. I ended up using the bus service. But what I had to pay was a lot less than what I would have to pay. So, I was pleased with that.
I got the car with 63,000 miles on it. And I've had it for two years and we haven't even reached 70,000 miles. But because it was used and when I purchased it, there are things I don't know. So when Endurance looked at it, at that particular time, they said something was wrong with the transmission. But that was after two years of me driving the car and it still hadn't given me a problem. I would have never known it was transmission until Nissan did the inspection. And what they had to do was very minimal. But the car is in great shape. Everything is together now. I'll keep paying my premiums. And if it ever happened again, at least I know I'm covered. And I appreciate that. I tell all my friends, if they're going to buy a car, to buy Endurance.

Having Endurance, my $40,000 investment in my vehicle is protected. I recommended it to my brother-in-law. I did a lot of research as to which was the best aftermarket warranty, and Endurance kept popping up as number one. They've done nothing to disprove that so far with me. In the beginning, everybody was a salesman. They asked what was the mileage on my vehicle and I told them I didn't know. I gave them an X amount of miles but also told them not to hold me to it. When I made the claim, they were trying to say, “You said it was only X amount of miles.” In fact, it was an additional thousand miles. But it worked out.

When I signed up, the rep was professional but I don't think he got into deep details about the warranty. I used to be a salesman, so sometimes, you just tell people what they want to hear and you don't get into the truth of the matter about the full contract. If we told the truth, Endurance or nobody would be in business. I had a claim about a month ago with my transmission. My transmission started slipping then it eventually went out. I told Endurance four days before sale that I was having problems. They said, “Take it to a dealer, get them to do diagnostics then call us back.” I took it to the Chevy dealer. The Chevy dealer in Searcy, Arkansas was backed up two and a half months. Somebody else had recommended Lynn’s Auto Repair. I went over there and had to pay out of my pocket to get a diagnostics. That was $100 for them to look at it.
Once Lynn’s Auto looked at it, they dropped the pan and found metal shavings from the transmission. The check engine light was on. It was jerking hard and you wouldn't even go past 80 miles an hour. After I communicated that to Endurance, they said the adjuster would go out, look at the claim, take pictures and they would would get back to me. Within a week, the adjuster told Lynn’s they could pay my claim.
From my understanding and from what I read in the warranty, if my car was down, Endurance would reimburse me for a rental car. My car was down nine days. I had to pay out of my own pocket for the rental car. When my car finally stopped, it stopped in the middle of the street. It wouldn't go forward or backwards. It would just stay running. I called my insurance company which was State Farm, and they paid to have it towed back to my girlfriend. When I finally made up my mind to have Lynn’s Auto Repair to repair it, I had to pay out of my pocket.
I communicated with Endurance on how long they said my car was going to be down because they had to order a remanufactured transmission. I asked them about the rental car. The lady that was handling my claim told me some crazy stuff. I almost cussed this person out. She said my car was only worth $2,000 and my claim was for $4,320. Endurance told me they were only going to pay the wholesale value of the car and not the retail value of the car. I wound up coming out of my pocket of $2,200 to get to Lynn’s Auto Repair to get my car released. I also wound up taking off for eight days, so I lost eight days of pay.
Before I got my car, they told me it would be the last payment and my contract was cancelled. Then four days after I got my car, somebody from billing had the audacity to call me and tell me I was late on my payments. I said, “You informed me that my policy was cancelled. Why would I be making a payment to you when you told me my policy was canceled?”

They’re not able to talk to me. When I had it taken in the first time, there was miscommunication. The shop told me one thing and I called Endurance, and they were like, “Oh, no, our adjuster said this.” That was not what it was told. So, there was a lot of back and forth. Endurance and my car service advisor played a ton of phone tag though. There was a lot of, "I didn't hear back from this person, I didn’t hear back from that person," but eventually, it got done. There could be a side by side coverage differentiator that shows what's covered in this policy that's not covered in the other. You could look through all of it and see that but if that was super clear, that would avoid future clients saying, “I didn't know,” or “It wasn't clear.”

It's been hit and miss with Endurance. Sometimes they'll pay and other times they won't. In the long haul, I got more out of the benefits than I paid for it. But I also paid a lot out of pocket that I shouldn't have had to. The last time that I had a claim with them, it took me three weeks to get that sorted out. Three weeks was not with the mechanics turning wrenches. Three weeks was the adjuster coming out. It took about four days for that to happen. Then once the files were sent over, no one told anybody that they needed to have the last three oil changes done. That took another three or four days. Then it was a matter of getting that approved by the adjusters up in Chicago. That took another three or four days.
Meanwhile, I had a rental car at $33 a day. Thanks to the corporate rate. But it ended up costing me $600 for three weeks’ worth of rental car and they only covered $150. I still haven't gotten reimbursed from that. At $100 towing that they wouldn't reimburse on, I had another rental car deal that they haven't reimbursed me on yet. It's a pig in a poke. I don't think that I would ever reuse them again. For the part that they covered, they did a fine job. It just took them forever and a day to do it. It's shoddy. There were a lot of times where they could have been more helpful. They could have been able to pay things in a faster mode. They could have been more forthright. They could have moved things through the system a little bit faster. It worked like watching paint crack. That's not good for a consumer.

I needed a warranty repair on my truck and the process was interesting. It was a sizable repair. It was a timing chain. That was why I bought the warranty to make sure the timing chain would be covered. But Endurance had said that there was a problem why they weren't able to cover it initially. I was on the phone for a good three hours with them until they finally realized that they were wrong about the claim that they had made.
They had said there were modifications on my truck and they should have voided the contract. They said I had lifted it and put oversized off-road tires. My truck wasn't lifted and it wasn't off-road tires. Those were standard size tires. Nothing has been done to my truck other than a spray and bedliner. I was on the hook for the entire amount but they finally admitted those weren't modifications. They ended up covering what was said but they were dragging their feet paying the mechanic, trying to make things a little bit more difficult. Overall, they did what they said they would do and once the claim was authorized, I got a rental from them, but the total process took 22 days. It was a little disappointing that I got to use the words fraudulent and lawsuit to get any kind of headway.
Two and a half years ago, I had an issue with a key fob. The initial transparency needs to be a little bit better. They said, "You have tires and electronics covered.” They never said for the first year. I was talking to the woman and was on hold for an hour and a half. I was still out 300 bucks, but they knocked 500 bucks off my total.
Would I get Endurance again? Probably. Their price is fair but as for their customer service, the initial three people I went through need to be terminated. They were terrible. When I spoke with them, they said their inspector said I had a lift kit and oversized tires. I told them I did not but they said, “That's what he said, so there's nothing else we can do.” One had even suggested if I could get the body shop or the mechanic to take pictures. I told them I didn't have to prove that I didn't have one. I told them they have to prove I did. They wouldn't give me the inspector's name so I could talk to them. It's a stonewall tactic and they need to work on that. They need to be better at following through on what they say.

I would recommend Endurance. My first claim worked out perfectly. They did not give me any hassle with that claim. I took my car to be serviced and the shop saw the problem. When I sent them the warranty, they submitted it. They got it done, and I was good to go. However, Endurance told me there was an app that I could download, but they never sent me the information. I was very disappointed in that. Luckily, I still have my book with the information in it.

Endurance's customer service was way better than the other company I spoke with. They weren't just about the sales, they were very knowledgeable about the product. They gave me the facts before they even tried to sell me anything. They told me the best policy for my vehicle. The other company wasn't covering nowhere near as much as what I got with Endurance. Also, the deductible was only $100.
But when I called the number they provided, they couldn't find my policy information to show that I have roadside. Roadside was going to cost me too much so I said no and I ended up driving the car home. Also, the claim submission process took a bit too long. I already had to wait a week for the dealership because they were behind. Once they were able to get to my vehicle to see what was wrong with it or do a diagnosis, they had to get in touch with Endurance. Then, they ended up sending out an adjuster to verify the information that the dealership had sent them. My car was there for two weeks before I got it back. The warranty includes a rental but that's only if the repair is gonna take a day or two.
When I finally spoke to someone at Endurance, the rep called over to the department for roadside to make sure they were able to find my policy information to show I had the service. The towing would have been covered.

We had issues with Endurance at first. They had a distance and time and you had to do that as a minimum before you could use the policy. We did a claim and I was at 700 miles over and a couple of months in. It was denied because it was too soon. They didn't meet what they said. But after that, the policy ended up paying for itself because they paid for two repairs that were big. The most recent claim was a transmission. They dragged it out so it was about 12 days for them to determine that they were going to pay for it, and they did. They had asked for the transmission to be opened up and inspected at my cost in order to do that. I took the gamble and let them do it, and it worked out in the end.
Previously, they only authorized two days for a rental car. But it took them six days to make up their mind to pay for it. Once they did, it took the dealer a day to fix it. The dealer told me to stay in the car because it was going to be handled by the warranty if they took it. Because the dealer told me that, I complained to them and they stacked up the other four days. But still, it was odd that they can take that long to make a decision then not compensate you for the time they took to do it.

My car is a 2015 Infiniti that has had a number of unusual repairs, given the low mileage of the vehicle. I needed to have a transmission replaced. I had to have the rear manifold on my car replaced ‘cause it cracked. I also had to have the transfer case replaced because it was leaking. I've had, in the last year, a number of sizeable needs for a warranty and my experience with Endurance was difficult. There were many times where I would call and was always faced with pleasant people, at least the initial people that received claim information, but what I found to be quite frustrating was they have a third party that comes in and evaluates the claim from the mechanic.
There's an iron gate as far as being able to communicate with the Endurance adjuster. That person is the one that makes the decision as to whether or not they're gonna give you a brand-new transmission or one that's used. There's no transparency as to whether or not the transmission has been in an accident. There is a lot of red tape when it comes to what they're gonna cover, despite the fact that the contract states that due to breakdown, they will cover it.
In the case of my transfer case, it was leaking. I brought it to my mechanic. This was after the transmission situation, and he didn't want to deal with Endurance again because they were so difficult with the transmission. He wanted to put a brand-new transmission in my car but they wanted to put an old one. Long story short, I wound up having him put in a new transmission. When it came to the transfer case, I went to the dealership, hoping that the dealership might be able to cover something because it shouldn't have happened given the low mileage on my car. Endurance gave the dealership a runaround. They wanted to just replace the gasket. It was three weeks of back and forth and because the claim hadn't been approved yet, I didn't have a rental car. I was paying for a rental car out of pocket.
There were many times I would call and had asked for a three-way phone call because that would be the most transparent way to communicate and also the most expedient way 'cause sometimes what happened was the guys at the dealership would tell me one thing then I would call Endurance, and they would tell me the opposite thing. I told the dealership to replace it the way they thought that they should replace it. I wound up getting a reimbursement check, which was also a process. The work was done at the end of March, and I was still calling in May. I was thrilled and grateful that I got the check, but it was not without my being persistent in following up.

I filed a claim with Endurance and it took forever for it to get approved. Originally, the claim was because my airbag light was on. Then there were some other issues with the car underneath. Something had to be replaced. They approved everything but the airbag light. When I called to find out why it wasn't covered, they were saying, "You need to read your contract. It's not in there." It upset me because that was a safety issue with it not working. Getting a hold of them was easy enough but they were ugly about how they said, "You need to read your contract." It was insulting to me. Because I got upset with them, it took an entire week for them to approve the rest of the claim so I was without my car for over a week. They said that they would provide a rental car for three days. I didn't trust that it would be covered so I didn't do it.

I like Endurance, and I don't have any complaints at all. A friend of mine recommended Protect My Car, but then I was doing my research and spoke with both of them. That was close to Christmastime, so I knew there were lots of sales that will be going on around that time, so I decided to look into it. I found Endurance had a plan better, because they also help with maintenance on the car. They also cover a higher mileage than Protect My Car. Even though Endurance was a bit more expensive, I preferred the length of time I'm covered, which is five years compared to four years with the other company.
The representatives were awesome, and they were very polite, helpful, and not pushy. Protect My Car was extremely pushy. When I said no, they still tried to get me to sign up. I already signed up with Endurance and I'm very good at saying no, but the sales guy was very good and knew what he was doing. He was able to get me to sign up again with them just to try it out. After signing up, I thought, "Oh, my God, no. What the hell am I doing signing up for two?" So I called and I canceled and they're refunding me back my money.
I don't regret going with Endurance. I noticed that my car was jerking and there was no problem or check engine sign. At some point the same week, the check engine light came on then went off again. I took my car to the dealership to do the overall maintenance, my oil change and tire rotation. I said, "By the way, there was a check engine light that came on and it went away the same week, and I hope you do check it out."
The dealership checked it out and the guy said it was a transmission issue. They worked with Endurance, and Endurance did everything and fixed my car. They put in a new transmission, and I was blown away, 'cause one, I didn't know that something like that will be coming on to me. Two, the Endurance company worked with the dealership directly. I didn't even have to lift a finger. The dealership told me how much I needed to pay, I paid it, and everything was done.

Don't believe a word they tell you. Daniel from Accounts will tell you whatever he needs to keep you happy so you don't cancel. Karen will tell you she will call the repair shop when they open if it's after hours but whatever you do, don't hold your breath. It won't happen either. They will tell you they are not a 3rd party. They are. They contract out with other underwriters. They will tell you their policy covers you for towing... It does. But only up to $100. So when you explain you live on a mountain they will tell you not a problem you will have no out of pocket towing expenses. I hardly call $533 out of pocket expenses. And only $100 coming back to me.
They tell you the diamond coverage has you covered for everything. It doesn't. In the event it's something in your engine they will will REQUIRE YOU TO PAY FOR THE BREAKDOWN OF THE ENGINE TO PROVE WHAT THE REPAIR SHOP STATES IT IS. Right there is a few thousand dollars if you have anything imported. And if they misdiagnose it and it has to go back, you will have to pay for the breakdown of the engine once again. That's their way of getting out of it. The whole point of a warranty is so you don't have to foot the bill for thousands of dollars so what use is this policy? Heaven forbid you have a policy that is less than the Diamond. It would be even worse. They are scammers. Buyer beware.

Endurance had a better rate and more warranty. After looking at the internet and finally talking to a representative, they sold their product to me and revealed a few more things that were available through the warranty that I didn't read up on. They gave me a lot of knowledge. I had an issue with the vehicle that was up under warranty. I called a representative and they got right up on it. Within the time I talked to the representative and the time my car got fixed, it was a two to three-week process. The process of getting it started was immediate, but the shop took a week or so to get it fixed. But I had no problems. Endurance is a good company. Next time I buy another vehicle, I'll still use them.

I've had Endurance for a really long time. In the beginning, it was great. But, something's changed over time. Communication is the worst. When you call, you wait on hold for an hour. They tell you that someone's gonna call you back. No one's telling you what they're doing while you're waiting to be transferred. So, you just hear someone typing, huffing and puffing. After 30 minutes of not getting anything, you get, “Someone's gonna call you back to follow up with you.” Then, you're just waiting. It's like an ongoing battle. Then you call again, you do the same thing. I've been calling now for the past week, trying to get someone on the phone. Because I had a manager tell me he was gonna call me back that Saturday on the Fourth of July weekend but he never did.
My Buick went into the shop and they didn’t want to cover the alternator. They said because the odometer reading that I gave them wasn’t accurate. I said, “If you pull the recording back when I renewed the warranty, I was at my desk at work. I let the gentleman know right then and there that I was not in front of my vehicle. He did an estimate. He never told me to call back in 30 days, so I don't know what you're talking about.” They were saying they're going to redo the policy, but no one's trying to cover this 487 for the alternator at least. It's just frustrating.
They should be more clear when they're talking to their customers because we need to know everything. It'd be nice if they communicate with the people that they're offering these services to let them know what they want to cover and what they don't. When somebody renews, give them a new handbook so we know if something has changed. I have to pay them all this money and then continue to keep calling until everything gets fixed. It's horrible.

Endurance is like everybody that's trying to sell you something. They kinda push you to get you to buy the warranty. When I first told them I would take it and then after I hung up, I got to realize how pushy the rep was. Another thing is that they tell you that you can take your car to any automobile mechanic but that's not true. They have to be certified as a mechanic through some kind of certification program. There's probably only about a third of your automobile mechanics that are actually certified. When I had my first oil change and there was something else I had to have done, I gave the book to the Ford dealer. The next thing I heard, they came back and said, “The only thing you owe is $100.” That was including my oil change. So I’m very happy with them. They were very good.

The warranty on our vehicle has gone down to nothing and I looked up extended warranties. Endurance was supposed to be right out the top that’s on the internet so, we called and got signed up. I called them approximately a month or so after. We had a dead battery and I was asking them if they could come and give me a jumpstart. I figured I was gonna have to pay for it because we haven’t put our 1,000 miles on and they said no. They were worthless. I couldn’t get anything out of them. I called after that and said that I wanted to cancel this and I didn’t want to work with them. They’re still taking money out of our account. I told the bank I wanted to cancel but it was no good. So, I’m stuck with this. They wouldn’t stop taking the money out and I don’t have any recourse. So, as a consumer, I would not recommend Endurance. I can’t get a hold of people to say I want out.

It took Endurance Auto Warranty two weeks and a half for them to get back. It was slow, but to make a decision, they had to review the oil change. Originally, they wanted to send in their own parts, so I just paid the difference. They wanted to send their own unit, but they allowed me to pay the difference with Chevy for the original transmission from the manufacturer. So, the difference between their unit and the unit I got was $600. But compared to what I was originally going to pay without the insurance, I was happy about it. I plan on keeping CarShield.

Endurance is a great plan. they covered the problem so that was good. It's nice to know that I have that coverage for those expensive repairs that are unexpected. Recently, the car went in the shop for the ABS light that was coming on. They replaced some part but it was in the shop for over a week 'cause they had to wait for the part then I wanted them to drive it to make sure that they fixed it. The customer service is good. I didn't have too much trouble with looking at my paperwork and finding out what's covered and what's not covered. If I had a question, I called and everybody that I talked to was very helpful.

I have been an Endurance contract holder since 2016. I renewed my contract Dec 2021 and attempted to file my first claim April 2022. I spoke with an agent who advised that I did not have Roadside Assistance nor tire coverage. I read my contract which showed that I at least had Roadside Assistance and I was trying to explain, but the agent wasn't listening. For the next couple of months I thought about cancelling my contract.
Today, I finally called to cancel my contract and spoke with James ** in the Cancellation Department. I explained the problems I had trying to use the Roadside Assistance coverage. James D, listened to what I had to say, apologized for me receiving the wrong information, reimbursed me for my roadside assistance, the hotel stay claim, added other coverage and explained the maintenance benefits that come with the coverage that I have. James D, was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and delivered on everything that he said that he was going to do. I have decided not to cancel my Endurance Warranty.

Then, when something was done, it wasn’t. But as of right now, everything is working fine. Everything was handled quickly. The only thing is they said they had the auto parts but after they got the parts, they didn't call us to let us know. Other than that, once they got it scheduled, it didn't take very long.

Endurance Auto Warranty seemed to have a bit better coverage and reviews on them. But they lacked a bit. I know that I can make monthly payments. I paid it upfront, and I got a bit more of a discount for that. But they never sent me anything in the mail explaining what my coverage was or how long it lasted. He told me that over the phone, but I never got any confirmation after that to verify, this is my coverage, this is what I have. I went on and I had to sign in to their website. I could pull up my coverage through the website. But it took me a bit of time to figure that out.
I was having some problems a couple of months ago. I was hearing a knocking noise. And I had been told by another shop that two of my Cadillac converters were out. And I didn't realize there were four on my particular vehicle. So, I took it into Nissan and had them just go through the car and make sure. The Cadillac converters were still bad, which I had thought that's what it was. And they did a few other little things for me. Once I picked it up, they tried to contact Endurance. But they covered nothing at all that was needed to be done. I had to go to another dealership because the car still wasn't right.
I called Endurance asking about certain things. And this is where I found the little details on the very back part of the contract. I had some things that were not broken yet, but they had worked on my front end. And there were some things that they covered. And other things, because they weren't completely broke, they would not cover and it bothered me. So, I ended up paying over $4,000 out of my pocket. They paid for some additional work on it. But it was very frustrating. Obviously, it's going to break if it has worn out, but they would not cover that. And it bothered me that they had the car part, it would be less expensive to do that, but they didn't do it. And that was in the very back part of the contract when I had to go online and look and look. And in the very fine print back there, they will not cover anything that is not totally broken, even though it's a part that should be covered if it was broken, but not wore out.
They ended up paying for a timing chain. But I had some front end stuff that is just through wear. It's a 2010 vehicle. Even the shop kept calling and they would deny. And I would call and they would deny. It's sad to me that they would think that it should break first. It was my front end. It could have put me in a bad situation.
I called and Endurance put me over to someone. I explained to him what was going on. And he was the one that told me the paragraph where it was in the back of the contract that says right here. And even out of my own frustration, he just said, “No, we don't cover that because it's not broken.” Even though the shop was saying it was worn out. My rack and pinion needed to be replaced. But because there was a bolt missing, they wouldn't replace it. Obviously, something happened so the bolt came off. So, I paid for that also out of my pocket. I also had a front end leak. And it said in there, unless they have to get in to do something else, they will not fix the leak of the vehicle, unless they have to get in and repair something else.

Endurance procrastinated and took so long that I paid $1,700 out of my pocket. My Jaguar went down two weeks ago. The shop that I deal with called Endurance and put the claim in. Endurance wanted to send an inspector out. The shop didn’t get an inspector by Monday or Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they said they needed some paperwork stating about something that had got fixed in February. They didn’t pay for it in February. I came out of my own pocket for that because one of the numbers was wrong on the mileage, so they had to restart the contract. Then, they said they were gonna send out an inspector within 48 hours.
When I called the guy at the shop, Friday morning, he said they still didn’t have an inspector. I told them to go ahead and fix it. I paid for it myself because I was spending $130 to get back and forth to work each day I was going home without my car. It was an inconvenience. When I get up there Friday to pay for my car, the shop told me Endurance called to say that they were sending an inspector up there Friday, but it was too late. I've never been late or missed any payments so why couldn’t I get the service that I was told I was gonna get from the beginning of me signing the contract? I’m paying $170 a month but Endurance has done nothing for me. Since I got my car, nobody has reached out.

After I purchased the vehicle, it was a day before I could use the contract that the air conditioning condenser went out. I took it to the dealer and they charged me $900. They couldn't do anything even though the mileage was over 1,000 miles. They said it has to be 30 days past and it's got to be both of them, not one or the other. I didn’t like that. Before you get going with the contract, Endurance tells you at the end when they sign you up that you have to have 1,000 miles. It’s misleading. They can save themselves from spiel if they tell people upfront, “You can't use this policy until after 30 days and 1,000 miles.” You're paying money to them before you are even able to benefit from them. 1,000 miles can be anywhere from a week up to four or five weeks with some people. It’s too much.

The Endurance policy is expensive but it seemed like it covered more. It’s $4,300 but my daughter had to have a warranty so I figured pay it by the month or pay it out of pocket and I wasn't paying any more out of them. She had a 2014 Chevy Cruze and I’d fix one little hose and then another hose would break or a joint would break or I had a crack in the antifreeze reservoir tank. Then the water pump went. It was constantly issues with that car. Now it’s resolved because there are no more parts to fix. I had everything replaced. I got tired of it.
I was comfortable going into the program with Endurance. I got burned on a warranty that I had bought before for one of my cars. I never used the warranty and it was almost $3,000 that got tied in when I financed the car. I never had to use it but when I made the last payment on that warranty, it was done. It was null and void. They screwed me over. So I had to fight and they paid a portion of it finally and then the dealership cut in, but I still had to pay 300 and some dollars just to get the work done. The first time that I have any kind of mess with this warranty or any other warranty, I will find somebody else.
I told the rep from Endurance that I was thinking on paying on this for three years. I asked the rep if it’s going to be null and void if it gets paid off early or if I go the full three years, and my daughter is not at 100,000 miles. And he said that even after the last payment, I’m still going to be covered. I said that I just wanted to make sure and he said that I’m guaranteed for three years or 100,000 miles.
On the phone, the rep was very knowledgeable and spent time with me. It wasn't five minutes and done and over with. I paid at the time of but he told me I had 30 days to cancel. He gave me all of the email documents that I had to print, which was substantial, but it is what it is. And I understood that concept. Then when I read through everything, he verified everything that was in the paperwork. So, to recognize and to be able to touch point on key information that's needed in order to sell these policies, he was very much on point. Everything that he said, I could confirm in the paperwork and the emails that I received.

I got the coverage from Endurance and about two months later, I put in a claim but it was denied. The next month, I had another problem with my vehicle. I put in another claim and that was denied. It was something that was not considered wear and tear on the vehicle. So, I didn’t understand why it was not covered and they said that it was explicit what was or was not covered. I said that I spoke with the representative when I did the application process and asked what was covered. I was told that it was. It was my electrical door locks and the Endurance rep said that it was an electrical issue and electrical was not covered under the warranty.
It was something so simple. It was a memory fuse and I had to pay $140 for the diagnostic and another $140 for them to fix it. I paid $349 when I left and I asked if they were charging me $349 to put a fuse in. I called up the next day and I said that I was having the same problem. The fuse blew again. But then I knew what fuse it was, so I just replaced it. But something was causing the fuse to blow. So, that was considered an electrical problem and that should be covered. But it was not. So I asked what electrical was covered and they said the power windows.

I chose Endurance because it covered more than 100,000 miles. I've had two claims so far. One claim wasn't covered and that was for the wiring in my tag lights that went out. The other claim was for my thermostat that went out and that was covered. Process-wise, they had a hard time getting the right information but they finally worked it out. The process took about an hour. The car was in the shop for a day because I had to wait for a part to come in. I took it in and it got changed right there on the spot. The mechanics worked directly with Endurance and that was great because I wasn't sitting there fielding information from one end to another. With Endurance, I like the assurance that if something goes wrong, it'll most likely be covered.

The plan option that I picked works for me. I made one claim with Endurance and it went fine. I paid my $100 deductible and the service provider took care of everything. It went smoothly.

I paid over $100 per month, for years. I went to use the warranty and was told it will not cover any repairs. Mechanic said it's a rip off. Stay away from #Endurance. I will take them to court. Buyer beware of this company. They also have a bad history of ripping people off.

My experience with Endurance on the phone was very professional, informative, made sure I understood what was being offered, asked if I had any questions, and I did not feel rushed. I had missing information that I could not give in one phone call and they allowed information to be given the next day. Very professional and friendly.

I had several things wrong with a car and Endurance only covered a few of those. I thought they would cover more. I've had to pay about $3,000 out of pocket. With the first mechanic I took the vehicle to, the estimate was about over $8,000. Endurance covered only up to $900 so I let them do what Endurance covered. Then, I took it to another mechanic and his estimate was about $4,000. Endurance covered about 1,000 so I went ahead and did the entire work with them. I kind of understood what Endurance did not cover, but I didn't know that beforehand.

Customer service is a little dodgy and the process can be a little troublesome because certain reps don't want to give certain information. When I had a question about the tire package, the claims department told me to call some Elite company to get that information. And even if I want to get the information personally and I had an authorized shop working on the car, it becomes a really big hassle in communication. Other than that, I did two claims this week and my experience had been great. One was for a battery replacement and they paid $100 towards it. The other was for something that I had replaced when it came to my struts at Mazda. Endurance saved me quite a bit of money.

I've got 2 policy on different cars and I still have to pay for all the work being done. The policy covers nothing but you sure take my money every month. I will be canceling both policies. This is just a scam from what I can see.

I have Endurance on two vehicles. I have one on a 2009 Chevy, which I had almost no problems with. My 2015 Chevy, on the other hand, has a few problems. The coverage is not the same. Endurance usually wants the inspectors to come out whenever they do claims on your vehicle, which also makes it a headache because you gotta wait multiple days for them to even look at something.
Endurance likes to use aftermarket parts, which doesn't exactly work in the dealership. Sometimes, I end up having to pay out-of-pocket extra for quality parts. I actually just paid out of pocket on my 2015 to replace parts that were covered but they weren't willing to pay the OEM prices to the dealership. I paid the difference which was about $200. Other than that, Endurance's customer service is pretty good. They cover services. But expect to possibly pay out of pocket for the difference between an OEM and aftermarket parts depending on where you take it.

I use my truck for daily use. I submitted a claim but it took about a week to get an adjuster to look at the truck and make communication with the mechanic shop, and then they rescheduled for another three days to just go and authorize the repair. That was a lot of hassle. All of that downtime, I was paying for a rental, which Endurance did not cover. I had a lot of other expenses that I paid for. It was like I have no warranty. It ended up costing me more money. It was also hard to get them on the phone. 35 minutes wait. It was not a good experience at all.
Now I have a catalytic inverter that's bad and it was not covered. When I specifically called them on the phone, “I need the best plan that you have where if anything happened to the truck, I don't pay anything.” But I ended up being not sold this plan. I was willing to pay the money but the rep sold me whatever he thought was good for me. I wouldn't recommend Endurance.

I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but whenever I call for a clarification they have been and professional with a response. So far so good. It was a hard purchase for me but the rep stayed on course and we managed to negotiate a contract.

Endurance is a good company. I like everything about them. I submitted a claim because the air condition doors fell off. It worked well. I called and took it over to Moe’s Automotive and they got with Endurance. Moe's tore it apart like Endurance asked them to and replaced the bad parts. But some stuff wasn't covered. I had to pay for the air condition vents.

I looked into two companies and I liked Endurance more so I chose them. I had one claim with them not long ago and I wasn't happy with that. The shop submitted the claim for me and that was the easy part. The process, on the other hand, took six months from January. I didn't have a vehicle the entire time because the claim was not approved. That was the bad part. Endurance offers rental reimbursement but it doesn't start until the claim is approved.
The process took a while because Endurance wanted some copies of some receipts of service maintenance, which I provided immediately. I knew exactly what they needed and I provided everything. I made sure I read everything in the contract so I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong. I went in with a higher expectation. They wanted me to authorize a teardown of the motor, which the dealer said was weird. It was just because I asked a reason that they needed to check the internal lubrication of the part. They did that check and afterwards, they said they couldn't verify that the car had a misfire because the motor was apart. But they told me that they already had an inspector out there the first time that verified that. The second inspector denied it because he couldn't verify the fault. We went back and forth for a while on that.
After talking numerous times, the dealer said, “Look at the other inspector. Look at the notes... He verified that there was in fact a fault already when the first inspector came out. That's what he came out to do.” But Endurance said that the second inspector only came out to look at the vehicle for damages and do an initial inspection. Finally, they checked everything and said it was right there on the notes. All they had to do was look at the front, what the first inspector looked at like we were asking them to do. What they actually did was close out the claim and then reopen it with the same claim number but a different inspector. They just kept going off with the last inspector. Once the claim was approved, the dealership called me and told me that the work was going to be done the following day. The shop finished in one day.
Before this, I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because of everything that was going on. Endurance denied it. At that time, it was iffy. It seemed like they were trying to not help me and tried to deny more when clearly they had a record of everything they needed and they didn't verify. They didn't do their due diligence on that. I’ve read reviews and numerous other people had similar experiences. Eventually, Endurance got to the bottom of things and they fixed it. But they all had a hard time trying and there were multiple denials.

So far I'm very pleased with my experience. I would recommend Endurance Auto Warranty to anyone who maybe looking for insurance. I was very pleased with the agent I spoke with. Very pleased with the price and the policy itself.
