    We reached winter temperature last night. I was at work and the car was having a hard time starting. I first started it from my remote control starter. It came, went on, then turned off. I did it again as I was standing inside the building. It went on, then went off. When I walked to the vehicle, I went to start it, pushed the button, and I heard a loud ticking sound. So it had a hard time starting but I finally started it. I came straight home and it was 10 something last night with crazy snow. After I dropped my granddaughter and my great-granddaughter off at preschool, I went straight to the Chrysler dealer because the weather was too bad to have a car broken down on the road. I told them I had Endurance insurance, gave Tom the information and I got a call from Tom saying that they denied the coverage.

    I called Endurance. They said it was denied because I reported the wrong mileage. I remember the day I called, I couldn't read the VIN number from the garage so I had to pull the car out into the sun to read the VIN number. I gave the exact mileage that was on that vehicle at that time and I was told that what I reported was less than what CARFAX was showing back in June when I had the vehicle serviced. So right now, I'm heated.

    I just got with Endurance in September. But before that, I had CarShield. I spoke to another retiree friend and she told me she had Endurance. I told her about the issues I was having with CarShield. She said, "I have Endurance. I got them off the TV." Lo and behold, later that day, I saw the commercial on TV and I called them. I spoke with Kenneth and he had me go get a copy of the last service that I had on the car to show the last time it was serviced with the mileage. It was with Jiffy Lube and my husband drove there to get the receipt. I called them and as I was on the phone with Endurance, Kenneth heard the Jiffy Lube rep say that the service date was 9/21 with 166,283 mileage. I just emailed Kenneth a copy of that receipt from Jiffy Lube and he said I'll hear something either later on today or tomorrow.

    I bought a 2015 vehicle with 150,000 miles on it. I found Endurance online and was happy with the reviews they had and went with them for my vehicle coverage. I was able to understand how a claim is done. For the coverage, I didn't get all the stuff they were gonna send me. I still haven't received the identification card for my plan and I don't know what is covered. It has been two months. Also, every repair that I had done was not covered which was a little disconcerting. Their reps said they could offer me a bumper-to-bumper but it would be costing more money.

    I just bought a used vehicle and I wanted some kind of coverage on it. Most of the time I buy a new vehicle, and that was the first used one I ever bought. I looked online and wanted the top-rated and that's where Endurance was and that's what I went with. Their customer service rep was good. He explained to me everything, what the warranty would do, the coverage that I'd have and the price. He was straight up about it. It's just that it was misleading that he said that there was a gift card I'd get, but all that was a discount on buying stuff. He could have been a little more upfront about what that gift card discount is. Other than that, everything was fine. He set the payment plan up. It works out good for my budget.

    Hello, I don't know where the other customers came from with all those great reviews about Endurance warranties! But here in Chicago, Ill. They have a problem not following their agree upon arrangement like before you pay your Fees. They just want their monthly fee, because they don't do pre inspection, so why wouldn't you accept their claims? Oh you just want that monthly fee and no chance on getting any warranty that you claim to have on the car. After months of trying to get my car covered after the time frame! 3 months or mileage. I had to contact the State Attorney of Fraud! And got all my fees back after 8 months! So whoever read this stay away from them if you got money to throw away or Time!

    I looked at a few companies before I talked to a friend of mine on the job. He told me about Endurance and that was when I got with them. Purchasing it has been pleasant and professional. My payments were set up on the 13th of every month. But I don't know whether or not they can get my car towed. I've seen on the television where a person said the car dealership will tow the car.     A guy from Endurance called me and went over their plan with me. That guy gave me a quote and showed me different packages. He explained everything and then sent me an email through which I was able to read their whole plan and its benefits. I didn't sign originally but then when I found out it was the best overall deal because of everything I was getting I called them back and the rep and I did the sign up over the phone. I've had their plan on auto pay and everything has been good so far.

    My car was getting a little older and I looked to see if there was a maintenance plan. I have one for my house and I hear people talk about having maintenance plans for their cars. I started to research and I read that a lot of these companies go under quickly, but Endurance has been in business for a while. I got ahold of them and their customer service was great. The rep was well-knowledgeable when he talked to me about what they offer for my vehicle and what the plan covered. He pretty much had me sold after my conversation with him. He then referred me over to a young lady for the confirmation process. She said she would give me the billing date that I wanted, but she never did. Other than that, everything has been fine.

    The Endurance rep was fine. I purchased a car and I didn’t want to get the warranty through the dealership. I wanted to get a warranty separately so I wouldn’t have to be paying for a warranty with my loan amount. I googled extended warranties and Endurance was the first thing that came up. I gave them a call. I spoke with a guy, and he explained things pretty well. I stayed on the phone with him about 20 minutes, and I told him to let me think about it over the weekend. I spoke with my brother about it. He said that they seemed to be a little higher, but I told him the things that they guy told me, and he said maybe I should go with them.

    I ended up calling Endurance and I went ahead and signed up. Then I got another call back a day later from someone else who was calling to sign me up because they didn’t know I’d sign up already. Everything is going okay with Endurance but they’re a little slow on getting materials out to the customers. In my case, I paid them money and I didn’t receive any information for a long time. I even had to call back and ask them to send me materials. When I called back, I was able to get the person I spoke with to send me an email link to my account. It was maybe a week or two after that that I finally received it in the mail.

    Since then, I’d been reading up more on them. I wanna make sure I do everything right in case I have to file a claim any time in the future. I'm just a little apprehensive and a little nervous for something to happen and me paying money, and then they will not honor the claim. I would recommend Endurance to a friend if they ask me, but I would tell them the pros and cons of what they might wanna look out for.

    My warranty was up and I considered about four companies. The price, the service that was gonna be provided and my deductible were the deciding points for me. A couple other companies gave me a price. I said, "Okay. I'm gonna check around." And they said, "That price is only good for the day." Well, that immediately turned me off. I felt I was being pressured at that point. Those companies were taken off my list immediately. With Endurance, the only thing their rep requested was that I’d call him back directly, which I did. Their rep went in detail and he answered all my questions. They were gonna extend my payment on over five years, and I elected to do it over one year.     Endurance's reps were very helpful with everything insofar as giving me the warranty and letting me know what I was getting. They were very polite on the phone and made me feel welcome to the company as a member. Thus far, I love my Endurance Auto Warranty. I have a friend that has their coverage and he let me know what I am able to do and what I am not able to do. He also let me know how prompt the service is when it comes to getting my car fixed or getting a tow truck.

    One day, I was coming back from lunch and my car stopped on me. It wouldn't go on reverse or drive. The minute I called for a tow truck, within five minutes, one was here.     I was gonna get a new car but I decided to hang on to this one for a while, and it didn’t have a warranty on it so I figured I would just get an extended warranty in case something does go wrong with it before I'm ready to get a new car. I went online and some companies sent me a few quotes. And Endurance was the first company I called, and everything seemed pretty good. The pricing was a little higher, but I still decided to go with them. I had to reach back out because I never received any confirmation of the service contract that I purchased. And I still haven't received anything in the mail. They told me they were gonna mail a card and a complete package of what my coverage was. I've been waiting on it for about three weeks, and they told me I should have it in 10 days and I still haven't seen it. But other than that, everything was good.     My automobile had passed its initial purchase warranty and I had recently moved down to Nashville. The roads down here are terrible, and so I figured I needed another extended warranty at least while I’m driving my car every day now. I considered a couple of companies online. I had seen that Endurance was the highest-rated and the lowest cost. They also got back to me the quickest. So that was the initial one that I went with. I filled out an online form and they called me five seconds later. Their response was super prompt.

    Their customer service was great. I was given a bunch of different package options and I went with the one that I felt was most appropriate. It was a five-year, another 100,000-mile coverage. So, the purchasing experience was great and I’ve got the extended warranty that I needed. However, the card that I gave them for the payment plan expired last month. I haven’t found a way to log in to my account, my profile, and update my card payments. I’m gonna have to call them today. But other than that, everything has been fine.

    My car is a 2004 Taurus and when I got it, it had 85,000 miles on it. A week after I got the car, Endurance called me and asked me about the warranty. But the call was like, “Do it now." The salesman was telling me not to wait until the car gets over 90-something thousand miles because then I wouldn't be able to get the warranty. That’s how I ended up giving them my credit card number. But I didn't know it was gonna take my money right there because I was gonna wait. I know some things would need to be paid for but it kinda put me in a bind. I’m starting a new job so my money is kinda short. It was 180-something dollars and it should be a month-to-month. I’m gonna have to skip it this month. I’ve had this going on two months since I had the car and I haven’t received anything through the mail either. I haven’t received any kind of package or coverage. But I believe the company stands behind what they say they would do.

    WARNING: Do not purchase a warranty from Endurance, especially if you own a 2012 - 2016 Ford Focus. I bought a Ford Focus for my son and purchased the Supreme warranty. Ford’s PowerShift transmission has been known to have issues. I was assured by their representative that ALL the transmission components would be covered under this warranty. Well, when the clutch in the automatic transmission failed, I was denied a claim. Endurance stated they do not cover Ford’s Powershift transmission because “it is not a traditional automatic transmission”...whatever that means.

    I now have to spend nearly $2000 to get the transmission fixed. Very disappointing, the purpose of a warranty is to avoid situations like this. These companies have proven time and time again to be untrustworthy and able to find loopholes as to why they can deny a claim. I would have been much better off saving the downpayment they require and putting away the monthly charge in savings.

    My wife looked on the list for good extended warranty providers, and she gave me Endurance's name and called and since the truck is in my name, they wanted to speak to me. I gave them the vehicle identification number and they looked everything up. The rep was very helpful. He asked questions about the truck and what my wife uses it for, and I told him. He asked the mileage on it, then he started asking technical stuff, like has it ever been in an accident, and I told him we never had an accident with it.

    The only thing was that instead of putting the warranty on a credit card, I wanted to be able to put it on my check cards, and they said they couldn't do that. So, they asked to put the $107 on a credit card which charges 26% interest instead of taking that out on my checking account every month to where it is not charged the interest. The rep said that they couldn't do that with my Visa checking card because it is also considered debit. So I just gave him my regular credit card number.

    I bought a used Mercedes and I needed the warranty for repairs. The guy from Endurance that I spoke with was more professional than other warranty companies plus, making payments is not difficult. They draw my account monthly. When I signed up, I was told that the warranty covers the keys and the tire but then, my contract does not reflect that. I paid $150 and my contract is only for $130. They told me that once I make my first payment, I will get information for the decision to cover the key and then the tires but I still have not received anything. I’ve called several times and nobody has called me back.

    We've had issues with expensive fixes in the past and my wife and I decided that once the vehicle warranty on our car expired, we were gonna purchase an extended warranty, which was what we did. Based on the reviews we read online about Endurance, we went with them. The guy I talked to was pleasant and straightforward. Some guys are pushy. They won't let you talk edgewise, blow things out of proportion and are full of pomp. But I didn't have any issues with the Endurance guy. He told me what I wanted to hear and explained to me all the options and what the coverage was. I also got an additional thing that gives me tire repairs and other stuff as part of the package. I haven't had the need to use them yet, but based on what I've read, I don't see a problem. As long as that part works, I'm okay. I'd recommend them.

    If I knew what I know now, I would never have purchased this warranty from Endurance. The sales pitch is drastically different than the actual experience when making a claim. I've had 3 claims... The first one was finally accepted after much wrangling as their initial default answer was no; the latter 2 claims were not accepted. In fact on the last one, they simply responded to the Mercedes dealership that I had a "drive train warranty" and the claim was for something else so the answer was no. The fact that I had a Select Premier contract which covers a hell of a lot more than the drive train was not disclosed.

    Reminded me of dealing with health insurance where typically the default answer is no without really even considering it. So, for $3600, I have a warranty that I consider to be basically worthless... Either they say no or I'm faced with dealing with the emotional and time energy of fighting them. My recommendation is a firm no... unless they move some of the sales people to claims so that the huge disconnect between the sale pitch and the claims process is eliminated.

    This Endurance company sent me a notice for a 2012 3500 Ram truck. I have never done business with this company or own a make and model of this vehicle. I called to find out what was going on - a so called “manager” told me it must of been a mix up with a family member or my address was incorrect. If that is the case why is this my name with MY correct address???? Why do you have my personal information???? No questions were answered. This makes no sense at all. I don’t even live in IL!!!! Apparently I have a price increase on a vehicle I don’t own. Wtf.

    I’ve a got a 2017 Nissan Titan that had about 84,000 miles and it’s a hell of a good truck. I really like it. It was an option of either trading it in and coming up to 100,000 to get me a new one or extending the warranty. I decided that I was gonna keep it for another 100,000 miles and I checked around different warranties. I was primarily looking for a powertrain warranty and an electrical component warranty, and that’s what I got. Endurance made it pretty easy. I looked at their rating and they had an A+. Several were A+ and some were B. I also checked the dealership and they said they’d only had one time with Endurance and they had no problem with them.

    The guy I worked with at Endurance was really good too. All the way around, there was no hard sell from Endurance. Some of those other companies were hard sell. This guy said, “Do it or not do it, it’s up to you.” He told me what the plan was and that they won't change it. He said I had three days before I could use it and I told him I wasn't planning on using it yet. I still had 20,000 miles left on this warranty but I wanted something to carry me up to 100,000.

    The price also seemed to be fair. I had to pay $141 upfront and then it was 64 a month. I asked if I would get a break if I just paid the whole thing and he said no. Whether you pay $64 a month or the $2,400 upfront, it was $64 a month for 3 years at 0%. He said it would be all the same. Then he said, “If you like 0%…” I said, “I love 0%." I told him to just give me the $64 a month as long as they would debit out of my checking account every month and I don't have the hassle of bills payment. He said that was the way they liked to do it and I said good. They’d already hit my checking account for a couple so it works out okay.

    I am using Endurance for the first time this week and they said they are going to cover the truck, which was what they told the dealer, so I'm not worried about that. My car is in the dealer and they fixed the problem with the computer software, USB and wiring harness. The dealership took care of the claim.     When I enrolled with Endurance Auto Warranty, the lady I spoke to was very nice. She talked to me about how long the cover had been there. And I like that she didn’t ask me a whole lot of personal information. When they were getting my banking information, I was feeling skeptical. She didn’t try to push me into it though. The lady said that if I wanted to, I can come back and that I had up to 30 days to cancel it. The experience was good, which was why I went on. They said that it was no problem, but I never got it in the mail. When I called the second time, I received another email to have an account set up so I could view the extra coverage. They also said that the card probably got misplaced in the mail. A week ago, I called them and they said they were gonna mail it, but I never got it. This was the first time I’ve ever dealt with something over the phone where I had to call twice and at this point, I’m becoming skeptical about them.

    I inquired about an auto warranty because I've been a mechanic for 30 years and I can’t do it anymore. My body’s so messed up, I can hardly hold a wrench. I got an auto warranty from Endurance because they cover more than CarShield does. The rep was great and fantastic too. I asked him about a few things. But he didn’t volunteer a whole lot. I’ve heard a lot of BS from a lot of salespeople, but this guy, just like I told him, “Don’t try to coat over something that you don’t know anything about. Just tell me what you know.” I’m just straight up like that with insurance people and warranties. And they sent me the information I needed, I got what I wanted, and now my car is a lot more covered than what I had before. But they need to improve their sales tactics. They should volunteer some stuff and give people an idea of what’s being covered, what is normal wear out and items that don’t get covered like brakes and rotors.

    I purchased my warranty in April 2019 for a 2012 BMW X5. The car was in perfect running condition but I wanted a warranty just in case because of the age of the car. My first claim came in October 2019 because the transfer case has been giving me problems. The inspector came out to look at it at the BMW dealership I took the car and said that it's covered. The dealership just called me a day later saying that the warranty company now wants them to rip open the transfer case which is $1300 dollars and not covered by the warranty to see what went wrong and to see if it's covered. BMW strongly recommended that the transfer case is just replaced and not opened. I'm getting the run around from Endurance and should have known that this would happen. Save your money and don't use Endurance.

    I liked the presentations I got from Endurance. It seemed like their warranty would cover more and that theirs was a more solid program. Though Endurance charged a bit higher than CarShield which I had, that made me switch. Now, I don't like the fact that Endurance charged me an additional $20 a month for the roadside program and for the tire program. With CarShield, it was just a month-to-month pay. Additionally, Endurance's customer service team and I didn't get off to a good start because they denied my claim for a portion of my motor. They said that part wasn't covered because AutoNation Dodge, the company that was working on my vehicle, said the problem was with my thermostat housing.

    I need to fully understand what is covered and what is not covered. I ended up spending $500 out-of-pocket to get that housing and the thermostat put on. I picked the car up last Thursday, and on Friday, it ran hot again. Since it happened again, it was like AutoNation wanted to work on bits and pieces instead of doing a complete diagnosis on the car to present to Endurance. I told them that they need to give Endurance the assurance that they have done a complete diagnosis on my car. This is why I can't quite hold Endurance accountable.

    I wanted to have some kind of a maintenance repair insurance on my car ‘cause it was getting to a point where I couldn’t afford the repairs anymore. It’s a 2008 car with about 108,000 miles, so I went on the internet and was researching the top maintenance repair insurance company, then Endurance came up, so I decided to sign up for it.

    I pay about $60-something a month, and it seems to be all my charges now are quite high where I can hardly even afford groceries anymore.     Everything was initiated when my first bank draft came out on October 15. The people I signed the deal with over the phone were great so everything went on without a hitch. I wanted to try and pay it off a little sooner so I called and asked them how to do it. The rep said the best thing to do is just when I call to say to take $500 or $1000 more out.     I had an issue with my car earlier this year and I only recently paid it off, so after getting that fixed, I was like I couldn't pour too much more money on this car. So, I had to look at some warranty. I talked to the mechanic that I was working with and they suggested Endurance. I gave Endurance a call and they explained things well. I was in the middle of purchasing my home, so I wasn't able to make a down payment or start the plan right away. But I was able to postpone it for three weeks then they took the payment. I received the packet and an article in the mail detailing how to make the payment plans.

    I went on a road trip this weekend and I was gonna have to use the warranty. But it turned out the first person I spoke to didn't wanna use Endurance. If the mechanic is not willing to talk to them then maybe I shouldn't work with that mechanic. So, I went to Hyundai and they ran a diagnostic. I was able to leave them the phone number and the contract number, and they contacted Endurance themselves. So, it's a good way to identify a legit mechanic as well. I paid the 79 bucks for the diagnostic and they were able to find the issue. It was a loose plug. I drove the car back 11 hours and another 5 hours yesterday and there were no issues with the car. There were little issues on the back and forth with claims and learning that process though. I wish it was explained to me a little bit better. Other than that, they were more than willing to help.

    First when I called the lady made me buy the top coverage. She said everything would be covered except the old change, brakes and tires. Car broke down and claim denied. Had to pay $1900 out of pocket. When I called and tried to cancel it they kept transfer me from one to another till one guy gave me a deal so I can stay. Again alternator died and claim denied again. Called and the same thing happen all over again. Missed one payment and the policy canceled and whoever spoke with me on the other phone was rude and racist because my English not perfect.. They canceled my policy and I got no refund at all. They never paid for any of my maintenance. I paid $2400 out of pocket while having a full coverage warranty. Very sketchy and shady business.

    My car warranty had expired, and I thought it would be cheaper to get a warranty than to repair something major. When I was getting enrolled with Endurance, they encouraged me and told me about the coverage and the cost. Making the payments was easy and we set up an autopay from the bank. I liked the fact that it's a five-year warranty, but I just have to pay for three years.

    However, I have not yet received the policy or the card. They said their record shows that it had been mailed and received. I explained to them that I do not have it. I verified the address and they had it correct. And then, I was supposed to get another one within 5 to 10 business days, but it has now been over three weeks without anything. So, I am considering dropping them if they can't follow through better than that. Also, what I really hate about them is all the emails and the phone calls before I decided to go with them. And even after I went with them, they would still pester me. I got a call from another Endurance agent, and he said he could have given it to me cheaper. But I'm that not stiff, and then I started to think it was just a scam.

    Endurance sucks. I went with them because ConsumerAffairs had recommended them. During my purchase, the representative was nice but he didn’t tell me everything. He told me that there's a 30-day waiting period, and so I said, “Okay.” My car is already getting old, so I figured that things are gonna start breaking down, that's why I got an extended coverage. Then, sure enough, something happened to my car right outside the 30-day period. So, I took it in, and they said that I didn’t meet the qualifications as there was supposed to be also a 1,000 miles. The person that I talked to straight out denied me, and then that was it. They turned me down. So, I had my air conditioner recharged and it's not gonna last. I still have the policy and from what I understood, between the shop and Endurance, I have to meet the 1,000-mile term first, then we go from there.

    I signed up with Vet Cars something Car Shield, and I got informed that they had a lawsuit against them. I was on my computer, and I was filling out an application to be quoted different prices, and Endurance called me. They were on the phone before I got through the survey. And so the rep talked me into it, and so far, I’ve been very happy with it. Everything was lovely and it's on automatic payment. One thing though in case I do have a claim, I’d like to have a card, instead of a big sheet of paper. You don’t carry a big sheet of paper around with you all the time.     I purchased a new vehicle and wanted to be covered with a better warranty than the dealership offers. I did about three companies, but I chose Endurance Auto Warranty because the cost was a little bit less. However, I did not like that the $250 rewards thing was not explained well. I would rather have them just give a $250 Visa so we can use it how we choose.

    You have to sign up for the rewards program and they give you $250 to spend, but there are only so many different places you can spend it in. Then it expires when you redeem the coupons. When I started to use the rewards, there was nothing worth using the rewards on. They had shopping, but none of the stuff that I really buy. I called them and said that there was nothing to pick from to spend the $250 on. They told me that I could not use it if I didn't wanna use it. It's not free money. It's my money and I still have to spend it, but they're just giving discounts on different services. Other than that, everything else is okay.

    We have Endurance Auto Warranty on our Nissan and I have it on my other vehicle also, a 2011 Ford Expedition. It has been with Endurance four and a half years and we've already renewed. I like the cost and the benefits I get out of it. So far, we’ve made three claims on the Expedition and they paid it all, except for the $100 I have to pay.     I need coverage on my car. I looked online, and it said Endurance was one of the top 10. They were all right but they don’t listen when you talk. I told them the mileage and then I don’t know how they came up with a different mileage. And they told me they were gonna email me my paperwork. They never did, and I had to call them back again twice, and they sent it. But the mileage was still wrong, then they sent it again, and then they make me feel like I’m bothering them when they’re the one bothering me. I still don’t have the whole thing with the mileage.     My cousin did some research for me because I was busy at the time. He said he read the reviews on Consumer and that was what brought me to Endurance. The first guy I talked to was in the training process, so he didn't explain the whole process. I wanted a full bumper-to-bumper warranty and all he was explaining was the basic warranty with just engine and drivetrain and that. But it didn't even take but 20 minutes and the manager called back and I got a bumper-to-bumper for 75,000 miles. I have a '15 Ram Sport and it's everything but a moonroof and cooled seats and airbags. It has heated seats, heated steering wheel, folding mirrors, auto dim, and everything, so now all of that is covered. And it's only $93 a month for $3,300 for three years and the other two years are free.

    I gave them a typical scenario. I said I live in Illinois and that once a year, we go down to Arkansas. Say, I'm driving my truck and something goes wrong with it and we're stuck halfway, I asked what was gonna happen. They said to call them immediately and they would send a tow truck out. The tow truck takes us to the nearest certified place which is a Dodge dealer and they would work on it. And if it's a part that needs to be replaced, something they can't get in that day, they could give me a rental car and hotel stay up to three days. They could extend it further, once I call in after the three days. They even pay for your meal. So, if you are stuck in a hotel under Endurance, they pay for your meal each night you're in a hotel. It's amazing just $93 a month for 3,300 and something dollars. Then after that, your other two years are free.

    I was leasing my vehicle and decided to purchase it once the lease ended. At the time, the warranty that they were offering was a little more than what I wanted to pay. I started looking to outside warranties and my fiancé has Endurance for his vehicle, so he recommended me to them.     I just purchased my Endurance warranty for my I have a Dodge Caliber and I’m on my 300 mile outbound. My extended warranty ran out, and when I bought my car, everybody that I called wanted a couple thousand dollars to just start one. Endurance didn’t want that much.     RUN RUN RUN!!!! Purchased this warranty. At the time when I got the warranty I asked several times are twin turbos covered with the warranty (knowing turbo issues was a know issue with this make/model car. I was told yes Turbos are covered by several different associates. Well turbos went out.. Called on the warranty, and they came up with every excuses as to why the turbos were not covered....

    I was told they would not cover because it was an internal issue inside the turbo that caused the failure. When I pushed back on that, I was then told the cost is too high and I was asked if there was a cheaper option (the shop I was at was the cheapest in town) but with a BMW, nothing is cheap! Several of my coworkers use this company. Needless to say I just made my last payment. Will cancel after this month! Complete Waste of money. (Last note.     All the electrical stuff that are on these vehicles nowadays made me want to look into getting an extended coverage. Also, I got a 2001 right now that I’m having electrical trouble with, and when I was replacing that 2001, I wanted something that was gonna cover all that.     My car had transmission issues as result from a computer module failing within the transmission. It's been a headache going back and forth with the warranty company and repair shop. The repair shop gave Endurance the codes and in which they also mentioned it was a computer issue at that time too. Instead of Endurance stating at that time the part wasn't covered, they had an inspector to come which took a few more days just to say they will not cover the part or my rental. So if your car has anything wrong with the computer system (in which most newer cars does), Endurance doesn't cover the parts which is unbelievable. This is a part that would've been covered under the manufacturer warranty in which I would think would be covered with Endurance. Why am I paying Endurance if I still have to pay out of my pocket??? Doesn't make sense.

    There were a lot of too much going backwards and forwards, calling and talking, and information sharing with too many people when I purchased a warranty from Endurance. At first, I spoke with a few warranty providers, including CarShield, and I went with Endurance because it came through ConsumerAffairs, whereas the other companies that talked with me did not. My only concern was dealing with too many people and they were trying to put pressure on me to purchase. It was just a situation that I’m very uncomfortable with because of too much communication with too many people.

    Moreover, I called the Better Business Bureau and Endurance came through them as well. However, I was told there were some type of a review with them and that concerned me now. So, Endurance may need to check in to that. Other than that, Demarius was one of the most helpful person I spoke to. There was also a young lady by the name of Kaye, who was sort of the finance person, and she was helpful too. They also worked with me on a payment plan.

The rep was pretty good, but then I had to talk to a manager, then I had to talk to the billing person. I had to get the military discount, so I talked to the manager about military discount.     I got a 2010 Scion xB with over 100,000 miles on it. I got a 2005 too which I bought brand-new before I bought this 2010, and I didn’t treat it properly. I did get the oil changed on time because we get free oil changes, but I didn’t do anything to the transmission. When I took it to the shop, I was told, “When you got one still undergone on the car and the car wasn’t running right, all the warranty with it is already expired.” So, when I bought the 2010 Scion xB, I decided to get something to cover it a little bit longer since I'm retired now. I got 116,000 on it now so I elected to purchase an extended warranty even though I felt like I'm just talking about 3,800 and that only covers three or four years.

    I dialed the 1-800 number of another company and it was Endurance that answered and got things going. I was expecting one company, but it switched over to another company. Talking to the Endurance salesperson is like talking to a TimeShare person. The guy’s voice sounded like one of these gangsters. He had a real big voice. The purchasing process went really fast, as far as I was concerned. They were talking too fast to understand everything. I know that the more they can get signed up and as soon as their rep can get off the phone, it was better for him because he makes more money. So, I'm a little dissatisfied with that. But even though I felt that way, I'm sure the product will be good.

I had a few questions and they answered the questions I had. I didn’t want any second hand parts used. I didn’t want arguing about repairs like the company saying, “We’re not gonna replace this gear.     I’ve spent three months looking into purchasing an auto warranty before I actually made my decision. I went with Endurance not just because of pricing, but it seemed as if they were more thorough by their website. And then when I called and spoke with the sales guy, he closed me because he explained certain things in a very clear and concise manner, which I understood the whole thing and I didn’t think I was getting ripped off. Everybody wanted $300, $400 down, and then 100 bucks a month.

    When this guy said what he said, it was a very fair price for, I think, seemingly the exact same options they would’ve given. I’ve had Progressive for 10 years, and then Geico for 5, and then Liberty Mutual. Now, I’m finally back to Geico. So, it’s one of those things, like you try it, you come and get it.     When I had my car fixed, the dealer did all the communication and scheduling with Endurance. They were thorough. They made the dealer check a couple of different parts, a couple of different times and then, they sent their guy out to personally look at it. So, it took about a week to get the claim approved and they eventually approved it. I had a rental car and they did reimburse that according to the plan, and I already got the check for that. It came really quick. The only complaint I heard was there were numerous phone calls and every time they had to call in, it was 20 minutes on hold.     I called Endurance the day before for prior approval and to make sure that my breakdown was covered under my policy. I was told by the representative that I spoke with that the breakdown was 100% covered under my policy and instructed me to take my vehicle to the nearest dealer. I had the vehicle towed to the nearest dealer, gave the service advisor all my policy information. The dealer called me and told me that my claim had been rejected. I got on the phone with the Endurance Claims department and was treated very rude. They were uncooperative and unprofessional and would not honor their warranty.

    I explained to them that I had received prior approval the day before from an Endurance representative. I was told by the claims person that the representative did not have the authorization to make that decision. At this point I was very upset and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that there was no one else I could speak with. I was not afforded the opportunity to escalate my complaint up the chain of command, instead I was give the Arbitration address. Bottom line is Endurance does not honor their contractual commitment! They are quick to take your money, but will find a loophole so they don't pay for repairs covered in their policy agreements.

    The signing up process with Endurance was really easy. I've had to call them once, and I did get help from them. I had a flat tire, and I couldn't get anyone to me, and they couldn't get anyone to me, and that was a big hassle, but eventually, it worked out and they did pay the claim. They have some rules regarding towing they could change though. That night, I needed a tow because I didn't have a spare tire. They couldn't find anyone. It was raining. It was a nighttime, and I had to call around myself. I had found one, and they said it was not on their list and they couldn't use them. And I was like, "Well, I'm not gonna stay out here another hour 'cause they're not on your list." It went back and forth. I was out there for over an hour. I'm not totally happy with them and I don't feel comfortable telling everybody that they should use them.     Endurance misrepresented the policy from the beginning. And then when it was time for a claim, the car had to sit there for three to five days because they didn’t trust the Crown Buick people, which is a Buick dealership, been in business for years and years and years, before they sent out their guy to view the diagnosis that Crown Buick made. Then Endurance approved portions of it and they said the struts were not covered. Even though the service advisor said it was a result of a catastrophic failure of some part of the suspension system, they still didn’t cover it and so I had to pay that amount of money out of my pocket and then I had to guarantee the dealership that if they pulled that part, I’d pay to put it back together because if they pulled it apart and the warranty declined the coverage, then I’m out $500 just to put it back together, not fix it.

    The next thing came along and they charged me a $100 deductible and it was the evaporator coil for the air conditioning system in the back. So we went ahead and we fixed it and then the air conditioner was still not working. Endurance called up and talked to the guy again and he told them that the seal on the bottom of the compressor failed. They said they don’t cover seals. The service advisor went back and now it was still there. It was in the shop over a month, so the deal about automobile coverage is almost a joke because you just don’t end up ever having the ability to use it. But they didn’t come out. They just declined coverage.

    The service advisor at the dealership called up and said that the seal on the bottom of the compressor was leaking but it was the result of a catastrophic failure of the AC system. Now, at that point, I questioned whether or not Crown Buick diagnosed it properly in the beginning as to it could have had a coincidental small leak in the evaporator coil in the rear but certainly that wasn’t the problem. The problem was the compressor and they missed it. After about three weeks, the adjusting arm of Endurance sent a guy back out and he agreed to pay for it but he said there’ll be another $100 deductible. This made no sense to me since the $100 deductible in the beginning was for the air conditioning system. And the most egregious thing that he said was, “We don’t pay sales tax in Louisiana.” Anyway, I had to pay another deductible and the sales tax to get the air conditioner fixed.

    Endurance has salespeople that go out and sell a product. They don’t know what they’re selling. They tell the potential customer that A, B, and C is covered when in fact, their adjusting arm says it’s not covered. And every conversation I ever had with either sales or otherwise has gave me the same disclaimer, “This phone call may be recorded.” or they say it’s gonna be recorded. So if Endurance Auto Warranty was truly interested in giving the consumer what it’s paying for, they’d go back and listen to those sales tapes and find out if in fact I’m lying or telling the truth about what they told me when I purchased that product.

    It also appears to be subterfuge. I researched it to find out who was responsible to me ultimately for a misrepresentation, and there’s three companies involved in Endurance and to this day, I don’t know who is the controlling factor. I never ever really had an easy method of finding out how to contact those guys. I would not recommend Endurance Auto Warranty to anybody until they clean up their act, if in fact they’re trying to present a decent product for a decent price to the consumer.

    I purchased coverage through Endurance after the Power Train warranty expired on my used car. I went with the Supreme plan, which is their bumper to bumper coverage. I am writing this review so that others know what to expect from Endurance. When you sign up, you give them your mileage along with a deposit. Mine was about $190 dollars. This deposit is required before your coverage begins. After that, you will be billed a monthly premium. Keep in mind that coverage doesn’t begin until after the first 30 days has passed and 1,000 miles. This protects the company from people who have preexisting vehicle issues. Plus, the company does not send a person to inspect or appraise your vehicle as a condition to beginning your coverage.

    My issue started just 3 months after my coverage began. I had an engine light come on, and when I took it to the dealership, it ended up being the turbocharger, tensioner, and drive belt. The estimated total was $1705 dollars. With Endurance, my out of pocket expense was only $150 dollars. That included the $100 dollar deductible and the cost of the drive belt, which wasn’t covered under my policy.

    It took about a week for the dealership to get authorization from Endurance to pay for the repairs. They spent a long time on hold with the company before they finally got the green light. Additionally, Endurance sent out a third party inspector to look over my vehicle before approving the work. They don’t do this in every instance — only when the repairs are over a certain dollar amount. This protects the company against fraud. Overall, I was satisfied that my policy covered all major expenses on my first use of the coverage. I didn’t like the wait time, but that was insignificant when you consider the amount I paid in the end.

    The car that I bought is really expensive to fix. Endurance had a good reference so I went with them. The couple of the other ones got some bad reports on things. The representatives at Endurance were courteous and answered my questions. Setting up the payments was easy too. We just did that through the bank. I interacted with their customer service in order to cancel but it was not a good experience. I was told I needed to write a letter and mail it in, and I did that. At the time that I did that, I was told that I had a refund coming and that I probably would receive it somewhere between 25 to 30 days. At 25 to 30 days, I didn’t get a refund. About a week later after that, I still hadn’t got anything.

    I called them because I was checking my account and I saw they had deducted another payment when I had already cancelled it. I told them about it and they looked on there and they saw that it should have been cancelled but it wasn’t, and that was why I was charged again. I explained to them that that charge had caused me to overdraft on my account.

    They told me they were gonna cut it off right that time and I would get the refund in another 25 to 30 days. So instead of me getting this refund in 25 to 30 days, it's going out to 60 days. I told the person that I was talking to that it was unacceptable because I didn’t do anything wrong. I did exactly, and they have the paperwork to show. They went in and found the letter that I wrote, and the date that I had sent it. I did everything like I was supposed to. I wasn’t satisfied because of what happened there. The money was supposed to be mailed out to me on the 16th, which when I called yesterday, they said it was, but I still haven't received it.

    I had an extended warranty that I bought with the car. I wanted to get something to extend it even longer but the company refused to do it and said that I should look at aftermarket. I've put out some feelers to a couple of companies. Endurance did not come in the lowest. Somebody else promised me they would be lower than Endurance, but I never heard back from them. So, I went with Endurance instead and I've had them for five months ago. They set up a payment plan with me where I'm paying $93 a month for it. My car is a touring edition and it has all kind of special electric things and headlights that move on the run and all those sort of stuff. Their rep and I went over some of the concerns that I had and one of the things I asked about was, "Hey, look, these are all electrical parts. The bulb itself, I can understand that's a regular maintenance issue, but as far as the motors for the headlights and stuff like that, that's all electronic. That should be covered."

    The rep said, "Yeah, all that's covered. It's general maintenance stuff." But then when I looked in the particulars of the plan, I didn't see any of that in there.     My experience with Endurance hasn’t been pleasant. I put in a claim with them. In a nutshell, I read their contract and they met all the requirements. I took my car up to Thompson BMW. I have a letter from them and I have a dispute going on with my American Express Platinum card. I'm a small business owner. I don't fight anybody about anything. I know that a lot of people complain about things that they can't cover and they don't know what they're really doing. But I deal with customers, suppliers, and vendors daily. I have a multimillion-dollar business. And I don't need Endurance to cover my car but it was an option and I thought I'd pursue it because I love the car. My warranty ran out and I thought it was a good thing to do. It was a little bit more expensive than some of the others but they had better coverage.

    It started off when they needed to have proof that I met the requirements like their maintenance requirements. I made sure I did all that, documented that, and sent that to them. I then had to put on an X amount of miles and wait. It was 90 days before any coverage was activated which was fine. There was no preexisting condition and the whole time, I was driving using the car. I took the car in after the 90-day period for a non-related battery issue that was not covered under the insurance and I knew that. It was a leaky hose in the motor compartment for the cooling system. And during the discovery at the BMW, they ran the codes and they found something else that they thought was wrong with the transmission. They thought it was the battery so they replaced that.

    I picked the car back up and paid the bill. I never contacted Endurance. I just knew it was not a covered issue. About a month and a half later, the car threw that same code that they told me they discovered which was a transmission issue, so I took it back to the BMW. I was told it was the battery. But I don't think it was because there it was again and the same new battery was being put in the car. And it's $100,000 BMW 750Li so it's not cheap to fix.

    At that point, I gave the repair place Endurance's warranty information. I was asked to go to a dealer if I had an issue with the car and their correspondence. I did that. Thompson BMW Incorporated contacted Endurance. The service manager got back to me and he said he was not able to get ahold of Endurance. He had been on hold for 45 minutes and nobody picked up. He called again and they put him on hold. But he just didn't have time to wait to get a response from Endurance again.

    I called Endurance and they said that I did not provide the proper documentation of getting an oil change within 30 days of writing the contract. I went back into my emails. I had the proper documentation and I sent that to them. But they didn't like the way I sent the format. It was a handwritten oil change bill. They wanted it on a hard copy and typewritten. I went back and forth. I went back to the people that did my oil change. They wrote it up on their letterhead and typed it up. I forwarded that to Endurance and they said that was good. But they were still saying that I didn't do that. I told them I did do that. They then said it looked like I did and that everything was good.

    BMW tried to contact Endurance again for the third time. But Endurance said there was an issue with Carfax regarding my car. Something showed on Carfax that I had two warranties on my car. I wrote an email and I contacted Endurance. I told them that I didn't have another warranty and that they were the only company I was paying.

    I searched around several months prior and had gotten quotes from a bunch of different people and looked at their different options on their contracts and different services and different prices. Somebody apparently logged my VIN on Carfax and it showed up there according to Endurance. Becaue of that, they wouldn't move forward with looking at my claim. I went through a couple of weeks of back and forth. The whole time, I've got a loaner car from the BMW dealer. They were getting a little upset that I have the loaner car and don't know what was going on with the insurance company.

    Endurance couldn't give me any information on what they were finding, who it was, where it was, what it was, and what the name of the company was. But they were saying it was black and white and they couldn't move forward with my claim. It was a covered item unless I could prove and get a letter from this particular company that I didn't even know about. I couldn't find any information online anywhere. I didn't know where Endurance was finding the information but they apparently found it and there was proof.

    After a couple of weeks of that, I went back through my records and all the people that I had quoted. I went back from claim records to my email records. I found the company that sent me some correspondence by the name of CarShield. Apparently, they did start to write a contract on that vehicle and issued in their mind a contract. I then got a payment note sent to my office saying that the policy was cancelled because of non-payment.

    I never paid them and I never authorized insurance on that contract. They didn't cover some of the things that Endurance did in my discovery process. I had to go back to them and that took me another week back and forth with them with several hours on the phone and emails. Finally, I got a really nice person at CarShield. They sent me a letter saying that I don't and never did have insurance with them. There were no payments made to them. I sent it back to Endurance and a copy to the BMW dealer last week before I left to go out to the Eagles game and business trip out to Chicago and Wisconsin. I told Endurance to please authorize the claim now. I was assuming it was a covered item but they didn't wanna pay.

    I had Endurance call Thompson BMW after I sent that letter and all the correspondence wrapped up my little tiny package. BMW said that they called Endurance and they were told that was not a covered item. I did all this for something that was not even a covered item under Endurance's policy. I checked deeper with BMW and they said it is a covered item. It's clearly written in the contract. I went on to ask and I contacted my American Express Platinum Card. I put disputes with them for the payment. I have other cars insured under Endurance and the contract reads, "In transmission, all lubricated internal parts contained within the case. Computer modules and solenoids, etcetera, etcetera."

    This is a panel with some type of computer module and solenoid unit. But it's called an electronics unit from what I found out later. And it's inside. It's an internally lubricated part. I called Endurance after I found that out. And I'm working with a local BMW expert here. I have statements from their BMW Experts, and they went pretty deep. I told Endurance that I thought they were wrong. They came back to me and I have multiple correspondences with them. I've got information from Thompson BMW too.

    But the guy in Endurance told me when I called back that the item was not covered because it was a bolt-on unit on the exterior of the transmission. It was not contained inside the transmission. But the contract says, "All lubricated internal parts contained within the case." I got underneath the car and looked at it. I talked to my local mechanic. He says it's a lubricated part inside the transmission. You have to take the transmission casing apart to get to it.

    I found out yesterday that Endurance sent an investigator out to BMW. He authorized the claim with BMW back to their office. Some might have looked for the computer schematic somewhere. Apparently this unit is partially in and partially out. BMW says they have to be replaced together. I go on to the BMW site and I have documentation on there of somebody else having a 750Li that had electronics unit replaced. There were no questions asked by Endurance and they replaced it for $4,000.

    I'm looking for other people that had either that coverage done or not done. And I'm prepared to take it to the small claims court in New York which is where Wesco is located. The way the language is written, there are two parts. All the internal lubricated parts contained within the case and what is considered the case. I looked at the transmission and I saw that the transmission looked good. There are all the gears and electronics, the valve solenoids and all the stuff in these crazy cars today. At the bottom, there's an oil pan. Unless you're doing that, you can't change the fluid in it. I made an appointment with one of the local experts that's a transmission specialist on the BMWs. Next week, I'm taking it there to have him take a look at it and show me the schematics of what it looks like on a computer. I just haven't had time. I spent dozens of hours on this already.

    BMW threw their hands up in the air and told me there was nothing else they could do. They couldn't fight it out with Endurance any longer. They also needed to get the loaner car back. Endurance is always about denying claims and I have issues with their customer service. The guy who told me that it was an exterior bolted on part on the outside of the transmission case was 100% wrong. He was very ignorant and he basically hung up on me. I think they all know who I am out there now. Endurance is not that big of an organization in the claims center and I'm sure I've talked to or communicated with at least half of them at this point. I have every time, date and person's name that they gave to me. I documented down on my stuff here.

    I know people in some pretty high places and I'm going to actually make some effort. I'm not gonna go out of my mind and I'm not gonna slander anybody. I'm gonna tell the truth and I'm gonna make it known out there. I have a pretty good social media presence. I've got another company and I've been involved with people that can get other companies blacklisted. I have some Facebook groups and I'm in car clubs. I've got a multitude of cars like an Aston Martin and a Mercedes race car. I know quite a bit but I know very little about this particular BMW because it's been dealer serviced from day one. It was always under warranty. I liked the car. It's a beautiful car to drive and have but they are expensive to fix.

    I have nothing to benefit from fighting Endurance for a lousy $1,000 repair bill. But I think it's a matter of consumer issue and to do the right things. I don't know if I'm right or wrong right now. But I do know the runaround they gave me was unnecessary for an uncovered item if that, in fact, was the issue after the three or four things that happened. And I went through it all.

First of Rep states, "Well you are married so that is why we called Mr **." I don’t care. I paid all payments, my money, my car. Rep dismissed my remark and harassed me for next 20 minutes. She stated I was covered under their policy for past 5 years. No I am not, never was. I just renewed with another company.     I filed my first claim when my car overheated. Mechanic explained I needed an "electrical water pump" - available only from the dealer for $950.     When I did a Google search, Endurance came up along with somebody else, and we did a comparison between the two and we liked Endurance better. My husband called Endurance and talked to someone there, and the customer service was good as well. Doing the payments is extremely easy because it's payroll deducted, so it just comes right out of my bank account.     A year ago, I was offered an auto warranty through a different company through my credit union and I used it for a year and I actually ended up using the warranty and came out ahead for the year. So, when that one was up, I thought I would look into another warranty. I just did a web search for what would be the best one out there and the internet seemed to give Endurance a high review. The rep explained everything well and he was knowledgeable. It probably lacked on the “what isn't covered” just to make sure I understood what wasn’t covered, and that was kind of a disappointment. But they made it easy to make my payments and it’s setup on automatic.

    My air conditioning stopped working and I had to be pre-certified for a claim and after trying to use the service, the specific part that needed to be fixed wasn’t covered. I just talked to the reps yesterday because I was calling to cancel the contract. I found out how little was gonna be covered and all the issues that I would probably have with my vehicle going forward are not gonna be covered. So, it didn’t seem like it was worth having. The retention department did a really good job of trying to retain my business.     I had a little bit of trouble in the beginning. I was quoted one type of warranty protection and it was the best one for what Endurance said that my vehicle needs. Then after it wasn’t what they actually gave me. I had to speak to somebody else. They said that was a supervisor. I’m not sure if that’s actually true or not. I already sent them the money for that policy. They said it covered everything I wanted covered, but then the actuality, I looked into it, it didn't, so I wound up paying for a higher policy with shorter years of protection. But I just wanted to make sure my car is supposed to be covered under all circumstances. It seemed like there was a rush to get me to put down the down payment for the policy.

    Also, there's something I didn't understand about the company until afterwards. They were basically saying that the people that I actually had my warranty through are under Endurance. It’s like a subcontractor. I’m like, “It’s either Endurance or it’s not.” When I first paid Endurance, I got that information saying that I paid Endurance. Now, when I pay Endurance, it comes back by something else.

    I found Endurance online and it was less expensive. However, the interaction with the rep was sketchy and I haven’t been really satisfied. I was traveling and I had almost $900 worth of labor and one motel that I had to head down. When I went to two different Ford dealerships, they both said the pulley wasn’t covered or they would say that they called and nobody answered, and ask if I still wanted it done.     I have a lot of electrical stuff that’s in the car, and I was told that Endurance would pay for it. But I recently had something done to my car and Endurance didn't cover it. They said it was preexisting. But I passed the probationary period as far as the 1,000 and the 30 days. And nobody told me about something preexisting. They said that it was something with the engine, and it was leaking oil. They told me they had to take the engine apart and clean the engine. There were some type of seals that were broken that were causing it to leak oil. And that’s another thing. I took it to the certified dealer of the people where I got the car because it’s a Jeep Cherokee, and it cost $3,000. That’s too big of an expense. This was a week ago and I’m still messed up now about that because I don't know how I’m gonna replace that $3,000 that was borrowed. I thought Endurance would help me out with it.

    I disputed it by talking to some lady, but she was telling me that they said it was preexisting. And it was like there was nothing I can do about it. They made a judgment call. How do you dispute it when somebody tells you that they already made a decision. I talked to this lady twice and I asked to talk to the supervisor. When I called them, they put me on hold, and the phone didn't go through. And one time, I got disconnected.

    I'm dissatisfied with Endurance because I'm discouraged to use them now. I wasn’t satisfied with their decision and their reasoning. It was almost like they didn't give me any confidence going forward that that decision was made correctly, and that I can feel comfortable driving my car, and if something happened to my car, Endurance would pay for it. I don't feel confident right now. I still feel traumatized by the whole thing. It’s a terrible experience.

    I saw a television ad for an extended warranty company and when I went online to look into that company, Endurance came up. They had the highest rating from Consumer Reports. I know there are a lot of fly-by-night warranty companies out there and these guys had very high rating. They had very good comments, too. So, I called them and they were very good on the phone explaining to me exactly the service that they provided. They sent me the information as far as what they cover and when they cover that, which was fairly comprehensive.

    I filed a claim with them recently and I’m in the middle of the process, which has been a bit frustrating but kind of understandable at the same time. My check engine light went off. I took the car in and had it looked at. The mechanic got the readings and before they went to the warranty company, they looked at other things that might have given the codes that came up. But when they approached Endurance, they're having them jump through some hoops.

    In conversations with my mechanic, they said they needed the information from me. So, I called them to find out exactly what information they needed. I was told that they just needed me to send them evidence that I had had an oil change within the 30-day period that was required under the contract and I sent that to them. Then there was more back and forth between my mechanic and Endurance. And my mechanic told me that Endurance told them that they needed more information. But nobody from Endurance contacted me to tell me that and that slowed down the process for about a week and a half. If what I sent the mechanic initially was not adequate, I would’ve expected they would’ve told me immediately so that I could get that and keep the stuff together. But then, I did send it in.

    Then the most recent thing was they had my mechanic give them a full listing of everything that would be required to effect the repairs that were necessary. According to my mechanic, they were talking about down to the last screw that was necessary. Again, I get that. They’re a warranty company and they’re trying to minimize what they have to pay out. And if there’s anything that’s not explicitly covered, I’m sure that they’re gonna tell me that they don’t wanna pay for it even if it’s something that holds in a part that have to be replaced. So now, apparently, my mechanic has given them everything they need, in writing at least, and I have given them everything that they have asked for as far as documentation on all of the maintenance records since I’ve owned the car. The step where we are now is that they are having their own mechanic coming in and check my mechanic’s work.

    This claim has been going on for a while since late July. My mechanic now has my car waiting for Endurance's mechanic to come in. So, I’m driving a rental now. It’s supposed to take no more than 48 hours for their mechanic to come in and that 48 hours started today. What’s gonna be interesting will be just how long it’ll be before they actually get around to approving it. I have a pretty good idea of what the warranty covers based on my reading of the contract. If they come back and try to nickel-and-dime me, that wouldn’t be good. If they take care of it the way that I think they should, I would recommend them to others.

    My car is almost 10 years old and I spent some money out on it because my air condition went out. So, when that happens, other things could be coming up, which was the reason I decided to purchase an extended warranty. The reps were professional. I wouldn't have gotten the warranty from Endurance if they weren’t. They were courteous and I had no problems with them. They explained everything pretty much and then, they sent some stuff in the mail afterward. The brochure was explanatory but if I have any more questions, I’ll ask them. I had the people at Toyota call them when I had my car serviced, to be sure that there was nothing there that they should be paying for. I needed to know first because if I paid, they're not gonna reimburse me.

    I went online and looked at reviews. I read up on it, and Endurance seemed to have the most affordable and the best package for me, so I got it. But they're not gonna cover the things that the average person runs into now with a vehicle. There's always an out it seems. I filed a claim with them, but they wouldn't pay. My temperature gauge wasn't working. They said it needed an instrument costing $300, and they said that they didn't cover that. But I got the upgraded package that would include all electronics. I pay them 65 bucks a month, and they can't fix a temperature gauge, so I canceled it.

    We have paid $105 monthly for Endurance warranty since the purchase of our 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Unfortunately we had a fuel pump go out on the car and this warranty will not cover ANYTHING!! When we called Endurance we were given the most bogus excuse as to why they won’t cover the parts OR repairs. Why pay for a warranty?? We have wasted $105 dollars monthly for over 2 years... Don’t waste your money on this “extra warranty” and abysmal customer service!!

    The regular warranty on my car expired and I decided that in case something would go wrong, I would have warranty on it. I was browsing and Endurance had a good rating. So, I went with them. My experience with their rep was good and I didn’t have a problem. They're kinda like an insurance company. Sometimes you make payments until one day you have a claim then you find out who your insurance company really is.     My 2016 Chevrolet is a very expensive car and if something goes wrong with it, a warranty is a nice insurance policy. I was looking for a warranty package that was priced accordingly and provided me with the coverage that I wanted, which was basically everything except the stuff that was not covered like the winter washer fluid, wiper blades, tires, break pads and things that just wear out.     I did a Google search on the internet and found Endurance. I liked what they were offering, so I went with them. I have complete engine coverage on a vehicle that already had some mileage on it and I was led to believe that I'm not stuck in a contract. If I don't like it, I can quit it. They were very nice and very polite. I was also very pleased when I called them yesterday to find out if they offered car rental service through the program, and they did. So, if my car went down and I needed repairs that was gonna be a few days, then the car rental is included. I didn't know that upon signing up.

    Other than that, I've referred them to four other people, so hopefully those people call. The only thing is, I'm worried about what happens with our contract if the vehicle goes up to 175,000 miles. My wife took a new job this year, which is the reason I got the insurance because she drives a lot of miles between Georgia, Florida, and Alabama, and I'm concerned that she'll be at 170,000 or 175,000 by the end of the year.
