I've seen an auto warranty advertisement on the TV and I had talked to another agency and got prices. When I talked with the people at Endurance, they had a better offer, so I decided to go with them. Their reps were good. They told me what was what and everything, and they sent my stuff. Making the payments wasn't difficult because I let them take it out of my account. I already recommended Endurance.

They asked for a $420 "deposit" and when questioned on this they put a spin on it. The definition of a "deposit" does not fit the definition found in any dictionary, "a sum payable as a first installment on the purchase of something or as a pledge for a contract, the balance being payable later."
We would love to have an opportunity to discuss more about this situation and make things right. Can you please give us a call, we can be reached at 866-432-4443.

When I purchased my warranty from Endurance, it was a fine experience. I pay them online or I call sometimes. When I call them, my account number already comes up, so they don't have to look for it. They know who I am already, and that's perfect with me.

I was buying a vehicle that had low miles but with high years. I just wanted to have something that would protect it because the manufacturer’s warranty has ran out. The Endurance reps I worked with were fantastic. They were really supportive, really tried to get my needs taken care of and be competitive with the other offer I had on the table. At this point in time, my experience has been good so far.

My husband inherited a 2016 Ford Escape from his brother. My husband is not a Ford person, and we googled this particular Ford model, and it showed that the transmissions in the Ford Escape had multiple problems and some recalls. It wasn’t giving any problems that we knew of. But since it was passed, and there were problems on this particular vehicle model and the transmission for several years, we wanted to make sure that we had a warranty on it. It was the big-ticket items.
I googled the new vehicle warranties, and the first place that came up told me about Endurance. I went to the website and it showed their records and their reviews. So, I called them, and I was referred to the broker for Endurance. I signed up on the first initial call instead of waiting because they offered a waiver of the $200 fee that they normally charge. It wasn’t difficult at all, and I had good experience.

BE CAREFUL those looking into purchasing a warranty from this company. They lead you to believe they provide you peace of mind and a company that you can trust...THIS NOT CORRECT! The 1 time we contact them to file a claim they sent an inspector to the auto shop and denied the claim because of the tire size. Our tire size is 265-70-17 and they said that the standard for our truck is 245-70-17 and due to a 1" difference they denied the claim. They said that due to this "modification" on our vehicle it causes a speed variance that over time can cause engine to work harder.
I called to speak to a manager and he tried to shame me by saying that I did not read the contract that says modifications are not allowed. I asked why was this not advised to me in the beginning when I was discussing the warranty when purchasing and he said they do ask if modifications were made to the vehicle. I told him that buying tires is common sense, we did not buy oversized tires or lift/lower the vehicle, so no, we did not modify our vehicle however we did purchase tires once they were worn/damaged. We bought tires that were recommended to help with drivability and stopping ability. He said he agreed with me, that he buys his tires at the same place we do and although these tires can give more grip and help perform better the bottom line is we have a contract and the contract stands and they will not overturn their denial on our claim. This is ridiculous! Save yourself time and DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

I bought a car with nearly 100,000 miles on it. I shopped around on the internet for an extended warranty, and a lot of cheap warranties just included the powertrain. I want something more than that, and I wanna make sure transmission and steering would be covered. Endurance had a reasonable price. They’re cheap but it also seems to be not quite a fly-by-night company. So I did my homework, and ended up with Endurance. Their reps were great and very helpful.

My experience with Endurance was bad. I got the quote and everything, and they said that they were gonna send me a confirmation email too see if everything was correct. When I paid for the beginning of the contract, I called them right away and told them the right mileage. That month, we travelled a lot so we went 2,000 miles up. About a month and a half later, my truck broke down. When we tried to do the claim, they told me that they couldn’t do anything because I have messed up on the miles. I had to pay about four grand out of my pocket. I tried to cancel it but they told me that I had to send paperwork and all to see if they would give me back the money that I had paid for the month and for the beginning cost. I tried reaching out to them again and nothing.

I stopped searching through the reviews after 60 pages. I searched all reviews pertaining to BMW, and there were a lot. However, not a single positive review from someone who actually tried to submit a claim, those were all terrible. Go ahead and read through the reviews. The only positive ones are "the representative was very nice and made it very easy for me to make my payments". I'm writing this review so people will wise up and actually read through all these reviews. Endurance tells you what you want to hear on the phone, but not what you want to hear when it comes to submitting a claim.

I had seen that Endurance was top-rated, and they worked with me. I talked to two different ones, and they were very informative. They were knowledgeable about everything plus the extra benefits of going with a kind of preferred status or premiere status. They walked me through everything. They explained to me what it covered bumper to bumper, even down to the smallest motor or electronic in the vehicle. It was definitely a seller right there. They got my payment as low as they could. They saw what I was kinda eligible for. And then, also for adding on an extra thing or two, they knocked it down a little bit. So, it was kind of a bundle savings type deal. It worked out pretty good. They also do follow-ups and I get emails. The customer service is outstanding.

Throughout my entire life, I’ve owned trucks and cars, and I’ve always had to pay out-of-pocket. As far as car insurance, auto insurance only covers for damages in the car. I thought I’d save myself some money this time and gave auto warranty a try. It’s very reliable. I did a lot of research myself on it and I even saw the numbers and reviews of customers. One of the main things I worry about the most on any vehicle is the transmission and the brakes on it. The motor is something that I can fix myself and it's no big deal. I’m a mechanic myself and I can fix some. But there are just times when I can’t even get to it.
The main thing that made me wanna join Endurance was because I spent a day or two looking for the best insurance and they were the one that popped up the most. They really caught my attention so I gave them a call. I got an awesome rep. He really broke it down for me. Overall, he did very well although there was one major detail that I wished I would’ve known before or afterward. When I called one time about some little AC issue I had, they told me it’s on the contract. It would’ve been nice to hear it out loud as well. There were the 60 days and 1,500 miles conditions. I have to give it that much time. I wasn’t told any of that. They told me I had to read it on the contract. I read some of the paperwork but I didn’t read the entire contract. I might’ve missed it. A little detail like that would’ve helped a long way. Other than that, I was very well taken care of overall.

I was googling who has the better service provider and Endurance came out with the better ratings. I had a rep who did a good job and I was happy with the aspects of the warranty. Endurance setting me up with the account and me paying the money were fine but when I needed help, there was none and that part sucked.
I tried to get hold of Endurance multiple times when my transmission went out on my Yukon and their business hours were horrible. I couldn’t get anybody. I felt like the actual Endurance program was not comparable to a bumper-to-bumper coverage at a dealership. They wanted me to pay out-of-pocket for a bunch of stuff and before they wanted to cover anything, they wanted to send out a tech which was gonna take them several days. What was I to do when I was stuck out of town in a small tiny town? Their guys were leaving me hanging when I paid Endurance a lot of money every month for their premium warranty. It kinda rubbed me the wrong way at that point.

I did some research and found Endurance along with another company. The guy, who is from an a equally reputable company, gave me a quote. Endurance gave me a price as well, but the discrepancy was so high. I told them that the other company could give me a better price. Endurance started lowering the price and finally came down to the best. They could have been more upfront from the very start. Honesty has gone out of the window nowadays. I still feel they charged me a little bit high.
Aside from being honest, I also wish they gave us better service by calling us. Their reps explained the benefits and how to file claims. It was not the best, but it was okay. I asked questions too. I'm planning to hopefully file a claim with Endurance. I have a seat issue. The first time you file a claim, they would say this and that are not covered so I'm getting ready for that debate. For the claim, I'm gonna have to go to the dealership or mechanic shop then get them to kinda give me a price. From there, call Endurance and get an adviser.

We're familiar with car warranties but my husband still did the research and we felt that Endurance might be the better one for us. Their rep was was cooperative but it was a little bit of an oversell and the person was a little bit overzealous. But it was okay. As opposed to some of the other warranty companies, they're walking on water. The rep's explanation of the coverage was okay but there was a tremendous amount of information.
But there was one thing though. It was about two weeks ago on a Friday. I've been with American Express since 1972 and I have perfect credit. First, I received a text then I received a phone call, identifying it as American Express. We were not apprised of what Endurance's billing goes under. American Express thought it was fraud for whatever reason. I called American Express and verified and they declined the charge for protection purposes.
We then had to call Endurance because American Express can't redo it. We, as the customer, have to redo it. There was a significant amount of turmoil that I was upset with. The first gal that we got stated that her computer was not working appropriately and that she would have to take the information and input it at some point later in the day, which I was not comfortable with. I felt that at that point, we should be transferred to another rep that could do that. I found it annoying. We never received anything from her. At the end of the day, as it was nearing about 4 o'clock central time, my husband and I placed a call saying we didn't get anything and we wanted to make sure we were paid. We were new customers.
The notes were not fulfilled. We had to speak to a supervisor, who was very helpful. Her name was Mary and she at that time was connecting via Endurance's computer systems, internally, trying to find this other person who she couldn't find. She sent her an email but the person didn't connect with her. It got so complicated and that was what I hated about it. She was then having to contact other representatives so that we would not be charged twice. At that point in time, we still didn't hear back. We had to call back and, yet again, babysit this. The representative told us we were good and that they got our payment. We were only charged once.
I then received a one-time confirmation in the mail from Endurance. However, it didn't give a dollar amount. In other words, it was a waster of money. It was a confirmation of nothing. Hopefully, my account is up-to-date. Endurance has only taken one payment out. If not, that will have to be rectified. I felt that I had to babysit the process through and that's not my function. That's Endurance's function. If the rep's computer was not working, then she needed to get me connected to or have me call back somebody who could take care of it. I felt it was very irresponsible. That left somewhat of a bad taste in my mouth. Aside from that, we fortunately haven't had to deal with anything. But at this point, I can't recommend Endurance to anybody. We're in the elite program and we were supposed to receive a pack of some things. We've never received that either. That's not very welcoming.

I’ve had a few calls with the rep and he was able to go over all the details. He answered any questions that I had all related to the company and the policy, and what they would cover. I was gonna look into when I need to pay for the warranty since I don’t know if I’m set up with a payment plan or how that was set up. My Mercedes dealership recommended Endurance and I asked around. Endurance came out high and I was sure it was gonna be a great policy. I got a fellow named Daron out of Chicago and he was very good. So, that sealed the deal because he was very professional, polite and someone you really want to do business with. I like people like that. He was very familiar with the coverage and he explained it very well.
I am very satisfied with the package that I received from Endurance but when I saw a charge on my American Express credit card, it said MEDCO. I didn't know who MEDCO was and I thought it was fraud. So, I cancelled my card, they investigated it and it was the paying machine. When you transact business with Endurance, you’d expect to see an Endurance charge as opposed to a MEDCO because they're the third-party biller. That needs to be in bigger, bolder letters that if you contract with Endurance, I would’ve certainly known that. MEDCO should be more prominently featured. I didn't hear any mention but I’m sure it’s in the fine print some place. If I read through the package better, I would have probably seen that the credit card would be charged by a company called MEDCO. Nevertheless, Daron was tremendous and the experience with Endurance was extremely positive but hopefully, I won’t need to use them.

My auto warranty was too expensive. I was very interested in the pricing that Endurance had and I liked that they had a 5-star rating. I was also going for coverage of big items which they covered. My main concern when I wanted to sign up was that there were different numbers that I would be called from. But I went to the website and I called that number. Customer service was nice. The guy that assisted me seemed very knowledgeable. But it would be nice if from time to time, especially after the sales, they would give you a callback and verify that you got the information. I think that’s important because I feel like I bought the warranty but I feel like I'm in limbo.
The thing is that when you buy something, you’re not 100% sure of what you really got. No matter what, it’s always nice to get a follow-up call even if it's a week or two after the sale to make sure the person got the information and to make sure that they understand the policy. That's the customer service part. That extra oomph of customer service, a little hands-holding, goes a long way. They could ask how things are going or if I used it. They could even ask if I used any specific goodies that is included.
Endurance told me about all these goodies that are included but I don’t even know how to reach out to those things and how to use them. Supposedly, I was gonna get some things in the mail about these extra bells and whistles, but I haven’t received anything. The only thing I have is the paperwork. Now, I don’t even remember what the bells and whistles are.
Also, I just got something done in the car. I went through BMW and found out that that the particular item was not covered. It was a coil so I guess smaller things are not covered. I ended up paying 200 bucks so I’m not thrilled. But my car is older and there are only so many things that the warranty covers. Endurance sent me some paperwork and the list of things covered are probably included there. But I’ve been so busy so I haven’t had a chance to really understand everything. I'm gonna have to grab it and read the whole thing. I wanna make sure that I have the top-of-the-line plan. It’s not easy when you get something then all of a sudden, you have this big bill.

They took the first payment out, which I do have to say I’m an old man and I drive probably 1,200 miles a year, so that doesn’t do me much good. I’m surprised at the A+ rating. My car has been at the mechanic since November 2018. It has been an hassle to get the warranty to agree to repair the issues I am having with my car. My car has been sitting there for almost a year. I had to buy a second car and I’m still paying for the other car. They are still making it impossible to fix my car and are always coming up with an excuse. Their own investigator is as confused as I am about the whole situation. I have learned my lesson. I will never do business with this company.

Discussing my options with Endurance's rep went pretty quickly. The benefits of having their warranty as well as the claims process were explained very well. I went with them and did AutoPay. However I download the app and then we tried to use the website, and both of those things I have yet to successfully use. I can't view anything via those. The website is just blank and only has my name. When I try to go to any of the features, it just says "Oops! There's nothing there" or "Oops! We could not pull that information up". Also, there's no way to upload anything. So, I’m just going based off of the fact that the AutoPay is still working.

We wanted to get an extended warranty on our vehicle in case we need to get it fixed. The warranty company would take care of that. I like that with Endurance, it’s bumper to bumper. They would do everything underneath the engine and we don't have to pay a deductible, which was cool. They were also supposed to have roadside assistance. It was quick when I bought the warranty and there wasn’t any hassle. They were happy so, it was good. Plus, setting up the payment plan was fairly simple. However, when a tire popped on our truck and I was out of state, Endurance wasn’t able to fix the tire at all. Somebody said the closest person to help with the truck was three hours away. We were stranded literally in the middle of nowhere. The closest thing was 3 miles back and that was at a Walmart. We are thankful that there was a policeman who stopped and helped us out, and got somebody local.

I purchased an Endurance Extended Warranty in 2018. I was going to cancel the policy within their 20 day grace period because of all the bad reviews I read afterward. They convinced me to stay and assured me that the negative reviews were not representative of their overall ability to serve. It turns out afterward, that the policy I thought I bought through Endurance was actually sold to United Car Care. Again, I was going to cancel but they convinced me otherwise. All re-assurances aside, one year later I filed a claim and United Car Care rejected it on the basis that their inspector cannot rely on fault codes and manufacturer documentation identifying the issue and providing a resolution process. All this trouble even with an "exclusionary" warranty which is supposed to be the best of the best. I'm canceling the warranty to salvage what I have left and will pay for repairs out of pocket which negates the cost of the warranty anyways.

There were no questions whatsoever if I felt like there was gonna be good quality or complete coverage for everything, and that’s what I was looking for for my truck. They told me I had a 30-day waiting period or up to a thousand miles, and all I have is the paperwork showing the cost but nothing else. Still, there was no issue making payments. They told me 20% down and our two payments upfront, and then they’re gonna start pulling in the next couple of days on a monthly basis. I’d recommend.

It might work with somebody else, but not me. I don’t have a high income but I have a decent car. I got a Cadillac with twin turbo engine, sun roof and navigation system. If something goes wrong, Endurance said they would only go up to a thousand. But sometimes, those things cost up to 4,000 to replace. Aside from that, for my radio and sensor things, they would only pay for a certain amount. So, they’d be really costing me as I would still have to come out my pocket. That was like a whole month of car payment. And it’s not just them. I’ve talked to other companies, too. It was the same price. It’s just that it’s an expensive car when you first buy it, but as the years go by, the value of the expensive cars goes down really quick. So, you buy it for 18, it’s only worth 18 if you sell it, but then you’re paying 5,500 for a warranty. It’s crazy. I got five years of payment on the car. When I purchased the insurance plan on March 12th, 2018 I explained that the car was in Canada and I need to ensure that service work could be done in Canada. I was told that this was not a problem. I am now being told that "because some Canadian mechanics reported the mileage in Kilometers instead of miles this was causing an issue." I then emailed copies of all service invoices since the vehicle purchase date which clearly show the mileage beginning with 17,673 miles on 06/04/13 to 70,070 miles today.
I have asked for a copy of their Carfax report and was refused that. I also asked for written notice as to why my claim was denied and insurance cancelled and was told they do not have to provide that. Endurance took care of the rest and I ended up having to pay for it. I also had to pay for the rental. According to Ford, I paid for rental from a Thursday to a Monday and that wasn’t covered. I don’t see the point of the warranty and I’m not happy.

I Googled what were the best extended warranties and Endurance was listed in the top three. So, I called them and my experience with their reps was good. They were very patient and answered all of my questions. Then they gave me payment options which included paying through a credit card and a monthly payment. When buying my contract I was told all the parts were covered including turbos and 4x4. Five months later engine light came on and heard rattling in the engine so I took it to a well known shop. Shop told me that Endurance inspector needed to look inside the engine to see the rattling but before they got my approval to go inside the engine, they said all parts were covered internally before break down. I gave the go ahead and little to know timing chain were stretched to where it feel off the the guide, turbo was leaking cause of bad seals and bearings and oil pump went bad.
The shop came back to me saying after opening up the engine, Endurance was not going to cover nothing and all cost have to come out of pocket. I called endurance and they said the part need to be literally in pieces for them to cover it, when those parts were failing anyways. I had to pay out of pocket $5300 to get it out. I cancelled my contract and was told at the beginning of the contract that I can cancel at any time and get a full refund. But when I spoke to the representative to cancel and was told they would calculate the miles from start and take it out of my refund. I have to write a cancellation letter that has to have the odometer numbers day of cancellation, get it notarized and mail it to their headquarters. I would never recommend endurance to anyone.

I've used them before a few years ago and never had an issue or was I lied to. Well 3 years later the company has went from good to horrible. 25-30 minimum hold times to talk to the claims department. I was talking to a sales guy and I was asking if my turbo was covered and he said sure is. I took my Audi to the dealership and they found out the Westgate was responsible for the turbo going out. First of all, you can't get a Westgate by itself. You have to buy the WHOLE turbo to get it repaired. There is no way around it. I can't fix the Westgate by itself and you can't take it apart to repair it. It's the WHOLE TURBO that needs to be fixed. I'm finding out this little loophole that the Westgate isn't covered, wasn't even on my policy and I had no clue what's covered other than my turbo. I don't know any exclusions. I will never use them again for lying to me to put me into a policy. DO NOT USE ENDURANCE!!

My children's cars are getting older and it's gonna be pretty pricey if they need some sort of repairs. I may not be able to help them with those and they aren't in a position yet to take care of those things themselves. So I decided to get a warranty and the salespeople at Endurance were professional. I understood what they all said and it was easy to make the payments.
The only thing that I really don't like about Endurance is the 1,000-mile prerequisite. Most of the policies would entail a 30-day waiting period. But Endurance has the 30-day plus the 1,000 miles. So if you don't really drive your car that much, it may take you a couple of months to do that. That's the only downside to that. But what I liked is that one of the companies that I called just wanted me to pay a monthly fee indefinitely whereas with Endurance, after three years, I get two additional years of coverage if I haven't exceeded the mileage. At this point, I haven't had any negative sort of problems, with claims being paid or accepted, and I'm tentatively happy with the package but I am not happy about the 1,000 miles.

I own a 2004 Infiniti. Knowing that I have a high mileage vehicle and anything can go wrong at any time I decided to get an extended Warranty with this company going by the 5 stars it has here on this website. I paid month by month for over six months. This summer my vehicle's A/C started to go. It would work intermittently. I decided to take it to the mechanic to get fix. After almost 5 days in the mechanic doing a bunch of diagnostic tests on the car that the insurance company requested they contacted the insurance company with the results and for my surprise the claim was DENY.
According to the mechanic 1) the Radiator cooling fan was defective and 2) the compressor wasn't working properly. They stated the fan would stop working resulting on the computer stopping the compressor to save it from getting damaged. The mechanic informed me the insurance company had requested to speak to me regarding my coverage. When I contacted the company they stated the reason my claim was deny was that although the compressor and the fans were both covered parts they would not approve the claim because the mechanic found a gap wider than factory specs on my a/c compressor clutch and they did not consider that mechanical failure or break down, they stated it was consider wear and tear. They stated wear and tear was not covered and there was nothing I Could do, not even appeal their decision.
I told him that going by their logic any Lubricated moving part as they state on their contract as covered can pretty much be consider wear and tear resulting on a DENY claim. Anything from piston rings to any of the Vehicle's pumps can be consider to have stopped working due to wear and tear. This policy is pretty much useless. A waste of money. I started reading the bad reviews about this company on this page and they are all truth. I even ask the representative about a complain I read here and he accepted it was the case. Someone posted here that their engine blew and the company deny his claim because he had the wrong speed rating tires that he had buy at a tire store and they were listed as compatible. The representative told me that him having the wrong rating tires causes the car engine to work harder therefore his claim can be deny.
Something as your tires can make your car ineligible for repairs on your engine. It makes sense why they don't inspect the vehicle when you get the insurance. It is beneficial to them to have car owner not be aware of things that might void their coverage. Something as simple as having slightly different rating tires can void the coverage for your whole vehicle. That's insane. Some people might even call this a scam. I ended up cancelling my policy with them since it makes no sense having a 2,900 policy that wasn't going to cover anything since they are going to look for any excuse to deny your claim.
As far as my vehicle goes. The first mechanic was charging me 1,200 to repair my a/c. I ended up taking the vehicle to my mechanic who had just come back from vacations and he fixed my problem in 10 min and didn't charge me a thing. He said the problem wasn't the gap or the fans. The other mechanic probably overcharged the system with gas causing the A/C compressor to shut off every time the car warmed up because the hotter it gets the higher the pressure gets in the system. If the compressor is not on obviously the A/C condenser fan is not going to be on. All he did was to hook it up to the gauge and release some of the pressure from the system. Lesson learn. When buying something if it looks too good to be truth there is always a catch. Start by reading the bad reviews first.

PER BBB THEY ARE NOT ACCREDITED AND HAVE A B-RATING... BUYERS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE!!! I purchased a warranty from this company. Upon opening the policy I explained that "my car has a CVT transmission," which the VIN number also gives them that info. I made the down payments, made the monthly payments on time, and did the XYZ to meet their requirements for the policy. Months later, I started having issues with my trans. I took the vehicle to dealership. They explained that "the trans is going bad and need to be replaced." They contacted Endurance. Endurance sent an inspector out who allegedly stated it's the trans. Well instead of Endurance paying for the repair, they requested that the transmission be torn out of the car and broken all the way down with my permission, which makes me responsible for the tear down cost if they decline the claim. The dealership representative was appalled as I was.
He explained that "they have never heard of such a request being that the vehicle has all the alerts for a transmission replacement." He also explained, which I agreed that "it doesn't make sense to make myself possibly responsible for $1k to tear the trans down. That's a fourth of the cost to replace the trans." I stressed my concern with Endurance rep Morris, he stated that "they will deny the claim because the diagnose is incomplete or I can authorize the tear down making me possibly responsible if the claim is not approved." I asked for a manager. He stated there wasn't one available. I told him it sounds to me that Endurance is looking for a needle in a haystack. A reason to decline the claim. I find it hard to believe that both inspections, from the dealer and from their inspector point towards the transmission and they're still looking for more info. Absolutely ludicrous!! This company is a waste! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY

But the problem is that they tell you what they think they want you to hear even when you're asking the right questions. Initially, I thought I was satisfied until I called and asked a few more questions, and then I was unsatisfied, so I cancelled it. There were some things that were told to me that when I called back to inquire about, I was told something different.
I talked to several people about it as to why was I told one thing and then now they're saying something different. I’m pretty much told, “Well, that was that individual.” There was no one who apologized for the wrong information, which I became very dissatisfied with once I realized that I didn’t have what I thought I had. When I said that it was not what I signed up for, the last person that I spoke to said that I was one day late of the 30 days, so I was gonna lose the money that I paid.
I asked if they were going to get me on my down payment, then I didn’t wanna pay the premium that was about to come out that day. I’m a big fan of making sure that I’m protected going forward with my vehicles and everything else. I like to have that peace of mind. Endurance had the best rating and I’m a big fan of looking online and making sure that everything was good to go. The first time I dealt with them was with a totally different vehicle, and the vehicle that I was looking at is not a vehicle that can be warrantied ‘cause it’s a police vehicle. The person that I dealt with at the warranty company neglected to tell me that and gave me the price and everything else. I ended up buying that vehicle. I got another callback from somebody else from Endurance and this guy told me I can't warranty that. There’s a line of communications issue. If they don’t have that, they're just out and out lying to people.
This time, I ended up talking to a gentleman named Stanley, and he was fantastic walking me through the policy when I found my other vehicle. I talked with him about everything and everything was really good. That’s another reason why I ended up going with it. But there’s this part of it where you’re in this special program for a year. They charge you $25 and you have to call and cancel. I told him I didn’t want any part of that. He said okay. He transferred me over, and I purchased a policy outright. The person that I was dealing with knew from the start that I didn’t wanna purchase that, and he said, “No problem. I can have that squared away for you.” But he’s liar number two. He did the same thing and lied to me. He said that it was not part of it. This happened in June, and the other day, I just got the gift in the mail for being part of it.
The next part is, I never got a copy of my contract the day that I purchased it and I paid for it outright so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t have been emailed to me. It takes two seconds in a digital world. It should have been sent to me right there. I thought that I would have better luck with dealing with my salesperson directly. I called him and asked why haven’t I gotten my contract. He told me to let him look into that. He transferred me to customer service and it just took forever and ever. I can’t sit on the phone for half an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone so that was an issue. Then I sent an email and I didn’t get the contract. I sent another email and I still didn’t get the contract.
Finally, I called the other day. I talked to a lady and she was great. I said, “You know what? I don’t care how long it’s gonna take. I need to have this peace of mind that I have my contract.” She told me she was gonna send me a link to get this all squared away with the directions on how to get my contract and everything from the link from the email. That email came over. I told her that I got this lock key thing that finds your keys which was a little gift for being part of that exclusive program. I also told her I didn’t wanna be part of that and that I told the other rep that I didn’t wanna be part of it. She kept on telling me it’s one of those where I have to call and cancel. I told her it should’ve never happened in the first place. She said that’s another department and she had to transfer me. She didn’t even tell me anything. She was just like, “Okay. Please hold,” and it told me that I had to wait for like 20 minutes.
I was gonna see if I could call back there again today. I didn’t even wait for that department. When people say they have to put you on hold especially when you’re calling to order something and it takes 13 seconds for someone to pick up, but when you have to cancel something, it’s a half an hour or 40 minutes to cancel, that leaves me two things. One, they’re hoping I just give up and hang up and forget about it, and they just keep on charging me, or two, they’re just so busy with people calling and canceling. I feel like they have two people at a little table that are answering 2,000 calls. That’s a real problem for me. I’m hoping that by the reviews and everything that I saw online, I won’t have any issues when I have to get repairs. I haven’t needed it, but so far, I’m really skeptical. The gentleman that I was dealing with when I originally purchased the policy was fantastic but everything after that was terrible.

So, I didn’t want the warranty to expire without having something else in place. Also, I wanted to wait to get my vehicle out to see if there were any issues because any warranty work that was done on my vehicle, that was under warranty at the time, would be warrantied for two more years. The rep from Endurance told me that I would be getting a discount if I sign up with them on that day and that when I get my car back, and if I find out that I don’t need it, they would refund everything. I just need to call them within 30 days.

We pay through a direct debit every month which we like. It's no muss, no fuss and it's great. We just purchased the car a few months ago and I hope we can use it, but if the car runs great, then I don't have to use the policy. My wife just retired and our income drops, so I don't need any major surprises if the transmission goes wrong with the car. It's a lifeline if something should go wrong.

He gave the best option he thought was for me, but after I got on there, I realized that there was even more coverage that I wished we could’ve talked about. Maybe I didn’t qualify for it or my vehicle but just to kinda compare and contrast. Still, he did a good job at explaining everything and he didn’t try to beef it up more than it was to get a sale. I was sent to a couple of people to finish up processing and they were all pretty well and great. They explained everything out perfectly fine to where it was understandable. It was a 20-minute call at most because I had a lot of questions. But it was pretty smooth and easy. It was no hassle. I got what I wanted, and I'm pretty happy with it. I have a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. I purchased a warranty with Endurance thinking that it would be wise to protect myself against potential issues (the adult thing to do). I made my payments and never had an issue - until I did. In February 2019 I was on my way to work and the car shuddered and slowed. I was able to get it off the interstate and to the mechanic. I was confident that they would find the problem and that everything should be fine because I had a policy. Within a few days the Hyundai dealership contacted me to tell me that I had engine failure due to a piston/ring issue and since Hyundai doesn't make a replacement I needed to replace my whole engine. Again, no problem. They contact Endurance who sends out an adjustor. I wait.
Within a few days my mechanic calls and she says, "You're not going to believe this." "Oh no" I reply. She continues, "They are denying your claim because of your tires." (Not the wheels, the tires.) "What do you mean?" I ask her (I don't know anything about cars.). "That's just it." She continues, "They say that your tires are the wrong size and they are denying your claim." Confused I ask, "What do the tires have to do with the piston/ring failure." "Absolutely nothing." She says. "These are completely unrelated."
Shocked I contact Endurance and the person on the phone replies that they are indeed denying my claim because of the tires. The explanation is insufficient but they claim that the tires cause additional wear and tear on the vehicle. They allow for a 1% variance in tire size but I am at 1.25%. and that "they don't have to allow for any." When I asked how this affects the piston/ring the rep didn't provide any kind of answer and restated that I was outside the allowed variance on the tires.
Still in shock I contact Tire Discounters where I purchased the tires. I relay the whole story to them and they look up my information. We come to find that the tires that are installed are allowed for the vehicle and they reiterate that the tire size has nothing to do with a piston/ring failure. This conversation is repeated again at my regular mechanic as I am collecting paper work on my regular oil changes and maintenance for the vehicle.
After all this I contact Endurance again and relay to them all the information that I've collected and they tell me, "Well, regardless, the tires are a 'modification'" and they can deny my claim for that. "A modification?!" I reply in anger. "If that is the case then tinting the windows would be a modification, would you deny an engine claim for tinting the windows?" "Well that would be a modification" the rep replied.
Anyways, I now have a car that I don't have the money to fix that I am still paying for. Another car I had to take a new loan out to buy. I have to keep insurance on both vehicles to keep the bank happy. I dropped out of Grad school to pay the notes and get the situation resolved. TL;DR Endurance is a sham and will deny your claim for whatever they see fit. PS. It's the end of July and I am still trying to resolve this issue.

I decided to get extended coverage on my vehicle just in case something was to happen. Sometimes, something happens to a vehicle and it ain't a cheap fix. I have all my regular bills, my five kids, and everything else like that. If something was to happen to my vehicle, the repairs could be $100 and sometimes $500 or $700. The parts might cost this much and the labor might cost that much. I figured an extended warranty would be good.
I had a couple of extended warranty companies calling me at one time. I had gone with a company but another warranty company called me and they were telling me how bad the company I chose was. I looked up the company I chose on the Better Business Bureau and they didn't have good reviews. They had a lot of disputes about paying out claims. I tried to cancel my warranty with that company. I decided not to go with the company that called me and let me know about the initial company I had gone with either because I didn't like their reviews as well.
I saw that Endurance was the number one company and they had fewer disputes than the majority of the other companies that were out there, so I decided to go with them. Their rep explained everything to me. He explained that I had 30-day wait period before I could actually make a claim. But he neglected to tell me that it was 30 days and 1,000 miles that I had to put on the car. I knew of that once I got my written policy and I read it. That was the only issue I had. Other than that, everything else to me was a good experience. When they tried to take the first payment off of my card a little prematurely, I just let them know that it was a different card. It's $50 or $100 when you cancel. That was not real clear. It didn’t cost me the policy, but it was something I think that should be clarified more. When you ask, “Are you gonna charge me if I cancel?” and they say, “Oh, no, no,” that’s kind of what you expect. They need to really tell the customer upfront that yes, there is a cancellation charge. But at this point, I would recommend Endurance. My car is a 2010 and I plan to keep it. For an expensive car, it's a smart idea to make sure that you have insurance on the parts as well as having an insurance on the car itself. And the same reason you should have insurance on the car, you should have insurance on the thing that could go on in the car. You never know what may happen in this world. I bought my car used from a dealership. It was my first time doing that as well. So, I wanted to make sure I did it right and have good coverage on it on both accounts.
I liked Endurance partly due to some internet reviews on it. It was kinda rated as an underdog, under-picked that was actually that many people enjoyed. I'm still considering that idea, but that is what it was recommended as. I am still under the 30-day trial run. And a lot of these policies don't allow you to really examine the policy without doing a trial date. And where I'm at right now is examining Endurance's quality in regards to some other companies. But I'm not completely sold on them yet, but it did have good reviews, and it had a good price range.
Also, they do one thing that no other company ever does which is to insure on tires. And I had to ask them that 50 million times because I was kinda baffled that they do that, and I'm not really sure whether there is a loophole on this thing or not, but a kicker for me was that if a tire will not keep air, then they will be putting money in to replace it. And that is something that no other company does. It seems like there's a loophole there. It's odd that, Endurance, of the 50 million extended warranty companies that are out there, is the only one I've had offer that. So, that was kind of a plus and a turn on for them, but also a little bit leery. The other reason was that they offered a warranty on all of the electronics within the car including the stereo.
Now, one of the things I'm a little turned off by which is another one of those cool things, but a little bit leery on which is the promotional coupons that they offered along the way. This, from my experience, makes it seem kinda like a used-car dealership where they throw you a bunch of free mugs and t-shirts, but they're really selling you a piece of crap. So, if you're gonna be a car warranty company, you should stay focused on car warranty company. But trying to offer incentives like that is like putting dressings or a Band-Aid on something you're trying not to get the customer to see the actual problems.
Protect My Car does the same thing. And I talked to Protect My Car for a while due to Endurance's price range being very similar. It was on the lower end. The price range has been where it might have some value. But in talking to that company, they had some of the worst organizational issues I've ever seen in a company. They had no record that you had talked to them and what you had talked about. And I feel like I'm getting a runaround on that these companies are giving a really good sales pitch, but when it actually comes down to the product, it is not all that great. And being that Protect My Car and Endurance are set up in a very similar way, it makes me leery to see how Endurance responds in that aspect. They're both acting in that used car dealership, where they're offering a lot of little incentives. And so, I'm a little leery about that.
Endurance's main competition right now for me, not in price but in quality is Omega Auto Shield. It is a different price arrangement, but it is a more legitimately based back and higher BBB setting. Based on its backing, I'm hoping it's better. But based on Endurance's price, I would prefer them to be the underdog. And also, the other company is working through a subsidiary company. They're hiring a subcompany to do their interactions for them. And that can become an issue in business that I've discovered before where you end up in an argument game between two different companies. You will be caught in a middleman. One of the reasons I like Endurance and one of the reasons their price is low is they're not having that middleman involved. They're skipping the middleman price, and the hassle that comes along with trying to deal with two different companies that are fighting amongst themselves.
Other than that, Endurance got me my papers out in a duly time. They haven't left me off the face of the earth. And they are calling to verify and ask how my experience is which is good. So far, they have called me to ask me about how my service is which is good. They answered all my questions successfully for the first initial call which I can get thoroughly involved in some questions. I'd like to do my due diligence on research and understanding an agreement before I get involved in it.
Most internet reviews for Endurance were fairly positive. A lot of guys like me that had tried or looked at other places weren't really and just decided that all in all, this was a hidden gem that they found that was really good. And they took a gamble on them, and it worked out well. They were loyal and they didn't give them a beat around. They didn't lie to them. They didn't harass them with calls. They didn't say one thing and then come back and then say another with a loophole in fine print.

The payment plan seems fine. There's no interest to it. And when I stop paying it, it goes away. If I sell the car, I can include it with it or I can just drop it, and they don't pay you back with a prorated amount, which really gets hurt. If it's many years into it, it's just a pittance. I went with them and their rep was pretty knowledgeable, knew a little bit about what he was doing, and answered all my questions while purchasing the warranty.

I got additional fees going on, and the warranty situation was a better deal for me to buy. I had a friend that told me about Endurance. Everything was good when I made my purchase from them. And they were very knowledgeable about the products they were selling.

I looked at about five or six different auto warranty companies and I ended up going with Endurance since they have pretty good reviews. The rep that I talked to was very informative. He was polite and he answered all of my questions and concerns that I could think of.

I read a couple of reviews online and then I talked with other companies but for what Endurance was asking for, it was more reasonable than some of the other companies. And then I checked with the dealership and they work with Endurance. I wanted to make sure I was able to get the vehicle fixed if needed, and I wouldn't have any issues with them getting their money. The Endurance reps were professional and pleasant. They were willing to provide information. When I got my premium, they were cooperative and knowledgeable. I asked them a question and they responded back. And that’s what made me go ahead and just go with Endurance.

I bought a used car before and I got screwed over. The motor blew up in it and I didn’t want it to happen again. I wanted to feel more protected, so I decided to purchase a warranty. Endurance was the best rated one online and I found nothing but good things about them, so I went with them. The rep who assisted me pretty much covered all the basics on everything included in my warranty and I had a good experience with him. Making payments for the warranty was really simple, too.
I'm glad we can be there to help, thank you for sharing your experience!
