Our 2014 Nissan Altima's transmission went out. When it was time to get it repaired via our Endurance warranty, we find out that our VIN# was recorded wrong by an Endurance associate. They asked us to submit a pictures of our title with the VIN# and after doing so, they still refuse to honor their warranty. I emailed the information and they are now giving us the run around. Even wrote a new policy with the correct VIN# and now they are asking us to wait 30 days before we use this newly issued contract + have an additional 1k miles on the car. Tell me, how the Sam Hill can we drive a car with the transmission NOT working. Endurance sounds like scammers to me and wouldn't advise anyone to use them for an extended warranty. Truly been an eye opening experience.

They had a lot of good offers on the warranty but didn't follow through. I had my car serviced and everything was supposed to have been covered on the warranty. They gave me the runaround. First, they said that the mileage on my vehicle didn't match the CARFAX that they pull which is not going to match 'cause the car has been driven. Second, they said I had a different warranty on the car which I didn't. Third, they said they were not gonna cover anything because I put rims on my car. They said, "We can give you a different quote for a different policy with adding the rims. We can quote you a whole different policy, but we're not going to cover anything that you already complained." Also, canceling was very difficult. They sent the paperwork to me and I had to sign it and send it back. I had to wait six weeks to receive a refund.

I'm a hard person to try to sell something to buy something on the spot. But they have put my mind at ease to be comfortable to pull the trigger and pay for it and buy at that time. Endurance assured me that they were going to be a good company. It was all in-house, with no third party. I was told that when I got the insurance that I would get one set of free brakes for the lifetime of the contract, and that I had three free oil changes. But when it came time to go and get a free oil change, it's only a credit of $50. I was under the impression it was three free oil changes a year and it's actually just a credit. Then for the brakes, I got the front brakes done for $150 but I only got $140 credit. But I didn't even get the credit because I didn't file a claim yet.

Some of my emission control electronics went out. I had the best plan that my vehicle mileage would allow and it didn't cover anything. I immediately decided to just cancel the warranty ‘cause if I was going to have to pay for repairs, there was no point in having a warranty. Other than that, customer service was very good. But all they would tell me was why I needed to keep the warranty 'cause it would cover other stuff. I kept telling them it wasn't covering what I wanted it to cover. All they were interested was the money. They weren't interested in the fact that the warranty didn't help me.

They were pretty knowledgeable in everything. The only thing that was confusing was they said they would pay for oil changes. Nowadays, oil changes for that type of car are a little bit more expensive, and they give you $50 back. But it’s about $100 to have to oil change. Also, I didn't like the part where you got to call them and you got to make sure that you tell them where and when you're bringing the car in. Then when you bring it in, you got to call them before they start working on the car. But overall, I was satisfied.

The rep from Endurance was very nice when I was signing up. I didn’t know what I wanted and I was telling her that my girlfriend had it, and I wanted the plan that she had. She looked up everything and that was what she gave me. I wanted to make sure that I was covered as far as the high dollar items that I knew I couldn't come up with funds or I wasn't willing to give up funds if something goes wrong with it.
In my recent claim, the mechanic told me something was going on with my axles and I gave him my plan. He doesn't like working with warranties because it takes forever for them to give monies but he did it. He sent the information over and Endurance sent somebody out. I wanted them to pay 100% and they didn’t but it's okay. They paid something. I had warranty prior and I canceled them because they didn't want to cover anything. A lot of times, it's hard to get these warranties to pay for anything and because Endurance paid, I'm willing to recommend them to the world.

I took out an extended warranty on my 2013 Subaru Legacy with 123,000 miles on it. It developed a transmission issue when the vehicle had 124000 miles. The repair shop tried to file a claim for me and it was denied because there was a mileage discrepancy on the Carfax. There was a Carfax report from the Subaru dealership at 112,000 miles and the next report was one from a dealership that said 89,000. I talked to the dealership and it showed that there was no work done on that day. I do not ever remember taking it there for an oil change or any other service, except getting nitrogen in the tires. This was not the case. They found the invoice that said wrong miles, with no charge for labor or parts. Carfax removed the mileage. Although it says no mileage on the Carfax, Endurance is still disallowing the claim. They want to rewrite the policy.
I have had them say they want more documentation, even the original miles on the car. I am the original owner and have kept it maintained. The last person said that carfax cannot undo the wrong report. I have sent all of the documentation that they asked for. Now they said that the mileage that was reported when we took out the policy is wrong, and they want documentation on that. Why didn't they ask for it when they took my money.. This seems to be a scam company that does not want to pay on a claim. Each person I spoke to wanted something different. I have been on the phone trying to handle this for over ten hours the past two weeks. I just want what they contractually said I would get.

The customer service representatives at Endurance were good. Whatever question I had, they answered. They broke it down to how much the warranty will cost. So, everything was smooth. When submitting a claim, they tell you where to take the vehicle, then I give the shop the card. The shop first diagnoses it, calls Endurance to see if the part is covered and gets approval from them to fix it. Endurance is a good company. They're easy to deal with.

Endurance takes care of me, they pay, and it doesn't have to come out of my pocket. But I got a lot of dislikes. The most recent claim I had was when I had four injectors replaced. They wouldn't cover one of them because I had it replaced six to eight months prior to that because it was faulty. They said it's under warranty and I need to take it to whoever put it in. But it was on the West Coast and I live in Florida now. I'm not driving 3,000 miles on a truck that's limping along because it needs four injectors replaced to get one cover. It really irritated me and I had to pay $500 for that.
I had another issue and it had to do with the coolant. I know they don't cover it. But we started talking about that with somebody from Endurance. They said they don't cover the coolant so they were not gonna cover the injector. but those aren't even linked. I told them I'd take care of the coolant problem and they take care of the injector. That was three days wasted. Then we finally got somebody back on the phone and they said they would cover the injector and that those two are not correlated.
Also, communication is always terrible and they could improve the timeline of the claims process. The process is I take the truck to the shop and as long as it's a coverable item, then the shop has to get Endurance on the phone and get somebody there that actually knows what's going on and understands the whole process. Then, Endurance sends out an inspector and verifies the issue. The car was in the shop for about two weeks and it's like that every time. The first time I ever used it, it was in the shop for three weeks.
Another thing is that the people that are in the call center need to be trained better and be more educated. That also makes the process take a long time. Waiting on hold is usually 45 minutes to an hour and when we finally get someone on the phone, it's a 50-50 shot that they know what they're talking about. It's a luck of the draw getting the right person on the phone that knows what's going on and can make sure that they cover something.
But all in all, I like having Endurance because they do cover certain items that could be pricey on my vehicle. I just wish things work a little differently and were a little easier because this is my only vehicle to get to and from work and I can't have it in the shop for two weeks. I had to have my boss pick me up the whole time and he was not a happy camper about it.

I like Endurance, so far. The signup process was simple. The customer service reps do their best. I dropped my car in the dealership, and the first service was okay. But with the second service, the service department said, "Oh, the Endurance reject most of the service request because the part is so expensive." I had to deal with the dealer, pay the diagnostic fee, and then I brought my car to another dealer and talked to the customer service. They explained to me that they may have a chance to not guarantee to pay for original parts. They're not taking the third-party part. So, I had a lot of complicated process to fix the problem.

The representatives and the interaction I had when I didn't need the warranty wasn't the best. It makes me feel a little nervous as far as if something goes wrong with my car. It's great whenever I'm paying for it and the moment I need something, everybody tries to fight me on it. I still end up having to come out of pocket $1,000 to fix my car because Endurance didn't want to cover the cost. I ended up paying $994 instead of $100 because they said, “Oh well, this is the maximum that we can do for that.” It was a coverable repair, except that they wouldn't cover the whole cost. So, I had to pay $1,000 and wait on my car. I had to rent a car for four days waiting on somebody to make a decision about it.
With the $115 I'm paying a month, I've paid almost a whole year's worth of payments to the mechanic shop when I'm already paying for a warranty. I'm a little nervous about having to use it.

Their reason for denial was we only had 2 oil changes done at the shop and the rest by myself with no proof of them actually getting done. So this company is Like any other warranty company. I had the actuator motor for the heater on my truck repaired. I filed the claim and Endurance paid their part. Back when I got this service, though, I was told my part would be $100. When I went to pick up my truck, it cost me 175. I called Endurance and asked them what was the deal on the 100 and why I had to pay more. Customer service was fine. They just said they had a set rate to pay, which was 700. I went back to the repair place and told them that Endurance had a set rate to pay, and if they accepted that, then that should have been it. They said, "Well, we have our set rate too." They took Endurance's money, then added whatever the difference was to me. I didn't like that at all.
I thought I wouldn't be going back to that place again, till this morning I had to take it back 'cause the actuator motor on the truck isn't working right. I just came from them to see what they were gonna tell me. I'm gonna go in Thursday and they're gonna look at it. If it's the actuator motor, they said it's under warranty and it won't cost me anything. We'll have to see what happens though.
I wasn't happy with Endurance. I was under the assumption that when someone has any kind of extended warranty insurance and if the company working on the vehicle accepted their bid of what they were gonna pay, then it was that, and I pay my $100 deductible. I was not aware that, like now when it's gonna be in the shop again, if they put in a bid for whatever amount and the repair place accepts that, but it's for more than the bid, then they're gonna make me pay the difference. I didn't think that's the way it worked.

Everything went fine with my claim. Something was loose in the transmission. The car was in the shop for a week. They had to wait for the adjuster from Endurance to come in and do what they did. And once they did everything, everything went fine. The process was great. I have a few more years with Endurance. I'm satisfied.

It takes a couple of business days for the adjuster to get there. I had to wait. And getting a spare car from dealer, they’re always backed up. Also, Endurance didn't wanna go with a brand new part. So, they used a refurbished one. They installed it but it was still faulty. So, they had to remove it.
Endurance ended up paying a lot of money because they were paying a tech $200 an hour to get the job done. So, whatever money they were trying to save by getting the refurbished, they spent more on putting the brand new part in. That was lesson learned on them. And that delayed me getting the car another five business days. Other than that, they have been great. The adjuster went there, made his findings, and that was it. He okayed the estimate and the job got done. I've been very satisfied.

Once Endurance figured out what was going on from the dealer, that was back and forth for three days. It took them three days to have somebody come out and actually look at and see whether it's a warranty part. But I had to send them paper saying that I had my last three oil changes. They were trying to figure out how not have to pay to get my vehicle fixed, which wasn't what I was thinking. I was thinking it would be something easy that they say, "Yeah. The dealership say this is done. It's a warranty issue. Okay." But it didn't. I was without a vehicle actually for almost four weeks. I like that they actually paid. It just took so long.
The other thing is they couldn't give me a rental car until they sent somebody out to see what was going on. And the rental car was only for five days. But they don't go for taxes so one day of my rental was up in smoke. I only got three days. I know they don't want to lose money in the business of making money. But if I'm gonna pay them every month, I should get better service.

I found Endurance and checked it with a dealership. The guy there said they work with Endurance all the time and they are good. When I had a ticking noise coming from the engine, I brought it into the shop. I have a membership card from Endurance and I was told to bring that in as well. They handled everything from there. The shop took apart whatever they needed to and found out what the problem was. It's a common problem in that vehicle from what I gather.
I was told an inspector from Endurance will come out and look at the engine and make sure that everything was legit as far as the repairs that we wanted to do. They wanted to see my oil change history and the receipts. I got that done a little bit ahead of time because luckily, all my oil changes and all the work I have ever done on that vehicle were done at that dealership. My claim was approved by Endurance. The only thing that was the inspector came out within a couple of days. I called on a Wednesday and they told me he was going to be out either Thursday or Friday. He ended up coming out on Monday. I had to wait an extra day. But it was no big deal.
There was one other issue that the dealership found that Endurance didn't cover. I had a cracked oil cooler. That was a part that the dealership actually screwed up because I did some research on it and it cracks when you tighten up the oil filter too much because it's a plastic part. One of their mechanics when they had the oil change done could have torqued it up too much. I was told, "Oh, it's a part that wears out." The car is a 2015 with 90,000-plus miles on it. That's neither here nor there but I paid for that out of my pocket. On the whole, everything went well. But there's always room for improvement. Endurance could have covered that oil cooler thing but it's not really listed in the policy.

I picked the best policy and since I had Endurance, they did two jobs on my car but you can get that on any kind of warranty plan. But when it came down to the big jobs, it was denied. I had to spend $3,000 beginning of December and fixed the car. I almost cut the plan off. When my car had the first oil leak, it was the oil pan and they approved and fixed it. They also approved the leak from the fuel pump. But you can get those two approved on any plan. Then I had my gasket oil leak and when I put the car into the BMW dealer, they told me that I had a misfire and the fuel injector went out. I called it in and Endurance denied it. I said, "Why is it denied? It's covered. It's right here." But they denied it because they considered it as wear and tear. But it was not.
After I paid to fix my car, some guy from Endurance called and persuaded me to stay. He told me that I was halfway paid through my policy and I shouldn't close it since I was almost finished. But I told him, "You're telling me all this. You want me to stay. I just paid 3,000. So, if I was to pay again and again and again and again, and then something happens to my car and you deny me again, I'm gonna be real pissed. I'm gonna be really pissed." They don't work with me at all. Anything I say, it's held against me in a court of law.
I've been on the phone with a couple of Endurance representatives and I ask them basic mechanical questions on any kind of type of vehicle or make or model but they couldn't answer that. If you're selling a warranty, you should know these basic answers. But they just sit on the phone and sell it and don't know anything about a car. I'm only going to keep this warranty because of the benefits, like the free towing and discount on the oil change. But that's all it's worth right now.

Up until my very last claim, Endurance's claims process was awesome. But with this last claim, it has been a bit of a turbulent ride with them. I was told by one representative that the issue is covered by how the policy is written. Then when I spoke to another agent she said, "No, this is not covered." I was trying to explain to the lady that I know what I am talking about and a cylinder head cover and a valve cover are the same things. She said, “No, they're not,” and she was trying to argue back and forth with me. I was like, “I don't have time for this.”
Also, they were stating that if I didn't pay for a repair that my facility is telling me that the vehicle needs at this point, my engine would no longer be covered through my Endurance policy. That was a little wishy-washy. Now, I still don't know what the final say is going to be ‘cause my service advisor is going back and forth with Endurance right now. Other than this, it's been a breeze and Endurance has saved me a ton of money on repairs already. I don't mind paying the deductible because I know that my car is completely worth it.
I still tell people to get Endurance because I know what the other policies cover. Their plans are all good. They don't just cover repairs but a lot of maintenance items as well. With my policy, you get three free oil changes a year which is totally worth $100 a month. You also get a one-time brake pad replacement and a one-time battery replacement for the life of the policy. Even if my claim doesn't turn out in my favor, I still tell people that this policy has paid for itself tenfold already.
I had an issue with my BMW where it kept dying every single day with a new battery. It turned out the issue was the electric coolant pump that had a draw on it. Even when the car is off, it had the coolant pump turned on even though I don't hear it. They rooted the problem right at the dealership and Endurance covered it. The coolant pump alone was $900. Then the labor was another three and a half hours times $225 an hour. I'll pay a $100 deductible for that any day.
They also covered my oil pan gasket that was leaking as well as a valve cover. They gave me a discount on batteries and brake pads. The warranty has kept my car on the road. I have a 2012 BMW and it drives great. So, I wouldn't have been able to afford that repair, especially at that particular point in my life.

I'm really disgusted with my recent claim. My intake manifold is cracked and it’s saying it was due to the PCV valve. The manifold is covered under the warranty but the dealership said that the PCV valve did not cause the manifold to mess up. The PCV valve is inside the manifold, so it's not a separate part but Endurance won't cover it because it's saying that the PCV valve failed. But the manifold actually failed due to the crack - it caused all that to fail because it’s not a separate part. I’m gonna have to fight it. I don’t have $1,200 and my car has been sitting there since the 19th of November. Other than that, Endurance has taken care of my other claims.

I signed up for Endurance. But since then, I really dwelled into their contract a little deeper and I talked to a few garages and dealers. They're not happy with Endurance. Apparently, all they do is try to deny the claims and they're slow to pay the facilities. They take so long to approve a claim, if they even approve it. They don't want to pay the labor prices that the garages are quoting. It seems like Endurance's main goal is to not pay a claim.
During the signup with them, they tell you everything opposite of what they're actually doing. They say, “We pay directly. You don't have to worry about paying the people.” But that's not the case. The other catch I found is, the guy that was selling the warranty to me said I'm eligible to start using the service within 30 days but that's not true. It's 30 days or if you get deep into the contract, it's 30 days or 1000 miles.
I've had the contract since October something but I haven't been driving the car. It's a brand new 2019 GMC Terrain. It's got 29,000 miles on it. I've had Endurance for two months now and if I have a problem with the car and I want to use Endurance, they won't be able to cover the claim because I didn't drive it 1,000 miles. They don't tell you that when you're signing up. From what I'm understanding right now, I wouldn't recommend Endurance to anybody. Probably tomorrow morning, I'm going to call them up and cancel the contract. I'm sure they're gonna give me a hard time. But I’m gonna do it anyway.

The policy I was sold did not cover the turbo including seals and gaskets even though I was told the policy I was getting was enough for my vehicle.
I brought my car into the dealership for a recall and oil change and was told my timing cover seal was leaking oil everywhere. The service manager called Endurance and was told those parts were not covered under my policy. I was quoted almost $3k to fix this. (2 weeks before Christmas!) I called endurance and had no choice but to pay more for a policy that covered seals and gaskets and my turbo engine. I also emailed and called to complain about how the original policy I was sold didn’t even cover my car and I received no response or help in any way. When I first spoke to the Endurance salesman, he told me everything. It was a really good deal, especially for the vehicle that I own. The price was relatively reasonable for what it was covering. They gave me some free benefits for signing up and getting 12 months of the elite coverage included with it but since then, I've been getting some very confusing correspondence. One said that I wasn't covered and that they couldn't offer it to me at this time. They had a number to call. So, I called them and they said they didn't understand because they said, "It says you have coverage here and everything's up and running." They took my money and they said just disregard it. It must have been just a computer-generated thing by accident.
Then, just two days ago, I got another letter saying that, since they weren't able to offer me, they have a better deal. They didn’t tell me what the deal was, but it was a little bit cheaper per month. They told me to call to see about setting it up. I've been sick the last few days. So, I hadn't been able to call yet and I'm like, "What's the deal here? Do I have coverage? Do I not have coverage?" So, it's a little confusing.
Everyone that I've spoken to on the phone has been very helpful and friendly. The original man that I spoke with worked with me and explained it very well. The customer service guy that I spoke to when I called the first time questioning the letter was very professional and very understanding. He actually talked me out of canceling because I was going to cancel. I said, “If you can't keep track of what's going on, I don't want any part of this.” It's a big question mark for me. He explained to me and calmed me down. He was very professional in the way he acted. So, that end has been great.

Endurance came out and said they were going to replace my transmission and being that I got an Audi, they were going to replace my transaxle, my Quattro system, my starter and my alternator. But they were not going to do the electrical, the motherboard nor the navigation systems. I just bought this car, which is used with 68,000 miles on it. It's an Audi, a nice car. But if I got out in Seattle, Washington and the engine goes out, I want a new engine. I don't want any messing around nor pissing around. What Endurance is doing is they're gonna replace the engine and while I'm down, they're going to give me so much money for a hotel. They're also going to give me a rental car so I can see the sights while my car is being fixed. So, that was a sweet deal, a little more money.
I went to another company that’s always on TV and advertising and I was seeing the best deal. But I had to give them $95 off of a credit card just to send me the paperwork. They wouldn’t send it. So now you get the quote from them and you don't like it. Now you got to go back and then they try to resell it to you. This other company was offering a cheaper price than Endurance, but they weren't offering anything. They were just offering a person to call. If Endurance will do everything they say they do, the cost is a total of 4,400 bucks. It's $159 a month for two and a half years. So that'd be 30 payments of 159 and I'm still covered for five years. I did receive a callback on 10/13 from Mr. Nauman ** and spoke with him about enhancing my warranty. He advised me based on the type of vehicle I had and the mileage that my warranty was sufficient for the car I had and that there wasn't any other warranty available that would enhance what I had, and that coverage is optimal. I asked for a copy of my warranty as things had changed and I was no longer able to login on their site to review my warranty, so he emailed mine.
A few weeks later guess what my car goes into the shop for repairs, and I'm hit with $3800 worth of repairs. The dealership contacts them and they deny coverage and was advised why by my dealership why. So I contacted Endurance and advised to cancel this ** warranty and the representative Gladiz ** that Mr. Nauman ** input notes in my account stating he offered me a specific warranty that would help me and I denied it. I'm pissed, not only did they deny coverage but this representative lied to me and had the balls to input this in my account that I denied it. Ms. ** trying to get me to keep my coverage and I flat out told her no; would I be calling to cancel if I had agreed to what Mr. ** offered.
I've paid over $4k into this and this is the service you get. Mr. ** advised me that if there are any outstanding funds that are to be paid to me, they would be refund me. I did contact the BBB and gave my review; Endurance sent me an email stating that they would like to help so please contact them and I did so, and I've not heard back from them. I challenge them to listen to the recorded phone call if they do keep them and they will find he lied in the notes to my account. That’s how confident that I am about what he states vs what he actually advised me of. Buyers beware, if you have a specific car or mileage, they will dummy it down and sell you crap to save their costs by denying your repair service. Do your homework. This company is Bull. I called Endurance and a gentleman told me he'd call me back. Two days later, a lady called me back and said since I was trying to do both cars, they'd give me a discounted the price. It ended up costing me $144 for each car a month. They said, “You pay for three years and you get five years coverage.” I am quite satisfied with Endurance. My car was in the shop for two weeks but that was not Endurance's problem. It was getting parts in. I have to try to get an invoice from Hertz then submit that to get paid back for the rental. They told me it was 30 bucks a day for five days max. They were very forthcoming about making me know that it was for five days.

I never heard of Endurance until I saw it on TV. I was really skeptical but I went and did it. Signing up with Endurance did not take a long time. They got the miles on the car and the VIN. They have a 1,000-mile policy. Everything was okay far as the process. But I'm worried. What if something happens, how will the process go? Other than that, they were courteous and professional. I felt comfortable doing the warranty. I just made my second payment a couple of days ago.

I'm disappointed with Endurance. I had taken my car to the shop. I'm getting ready to take it to another shop now ‘cause I wasn't satisfied with the one that I took it to. They suggested that I needed engine put in the car. Endurance said that they wouldn't put in an engine because that was not what was showing what was wrong at that time. They could only do what was broken. I asked the lady, “If it needed the whole engine, what happens if something else breaks down?” She said, “You’ll just take it back to the shop, and we'll fix that thing.” To me, that bites off your nose to spite your face. You end up paying more out. My car was in in October. Now, something else is wrong with my car.
I wasn't satisfied with Christian Brothers either. They need to be taken off the list for people to take their cars there. I had taken my car there, but I wasn't thinking, and they put a fan on it. That's what seems like is going on right now, which has nothing to do with Endurance’s fixing what they put in, a cylinder head gasket. But I was dissatisfied with what they wanted to fix. I'm a retired person, and I need my car to go to my appointments. I've been thinking about changing.

I looked into Endurance and thought it was neat that they gave you oil changes and $100 towards a battery. They give a lot more things. The price was 143 for the first month and 123 after that. That was pretty good insurance. Their rep was very good and knowledgeable. He answered any questions that I had. The only thing that I didn't see was you have to wait 1,000 miles beforehand. I read that in the warranty afterward and that was fine. On the whole, the signup process was very smooth. I had a very good experience and I've told people about Endurance.

I feel they are taking their time and always wanting more and more from me and it's never good enough for them. They want oil change receipts so I have sent them 6 already and nope they aren't good enough! And so I wait and wait and wait for them to approve my claim. It's ridiculous how they are doing me!
They are costing me THOUSANDS MORE with than without! My car has been sitting at the shop now for 32 days and I'm being charged storage fees that they aren't paying either and it's their fault it's been going on so long! They don't call you to tell you what's going on, there are too many customer service reps handling your claim, people claim to be supervisors and they are not and this is just a few things wrong! Instead of me getting $7,000 which is what I expected, I got half of that. They lie and manipulate in their calls and in the marketing.
Also, they only reimburse five days of the rental car which meant I had two months of the rental car out of my pocket because there was no way they were going to do the repair that needed to be done in five days. I won't use them again. The warranty is not worth it at all.

I took my car to the dealership Nov 2' 22. It is now Nov 30'22 my car has not been touched! This is what happened. Went in on the second. Called service advisor he hasn't heard back for 3 days. Day 4 they say they are sending an "inspector" out to check my car. (Car has not been taken apart mind you) So I don't know what they inspected. Day 5 service advisor sends me a message saying they want last 3 oil change receipts. Day 6 (Sat) I sent them email with what I was told to put in the subject line.
For 1 week service advisor nor I have heard a thing. Week 3 car still sits. I call to see what's up. They tell me that one of the receipts my mechanic forgot the vin # so I get a copy with my vin# on it. They are refusing it because it is now an "altered document" so now they want another receipt from a different licensed business that has everything that's on all of the other receipts. I've just sent that in to someone who is claiming to be a supervisor but doesn't answer the phone saying she is a supervisor. I'm also in a rental car that they are refusing to pay for! So now I have a car rental bill because they are dragging their asses and not communicating with me or the service advisor!
Now they don't tell you that you must have EXCELLENT SERVICE RECORDS! Things (maintenance) must be done precisely when your service book says it's due. It better be done, and you better have the CORRECT PROOF or no fix for you! If you do the work yourself, you better have the receipts to prove you did the work or nope no fix! My car was used when I bought it and I feel like I'm being penalized for what the other owners didn't do. I'm not pleased with their robbing me and not doing what they said they would! A lot of reviews I have read after the fact say the same thing. They say the cover things then they do everything to disqualify you so they don't have to pay! PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Don't be left to pay for a rental and your car repair like me! I regret getting this service :(

I looked at a couple of different types of warranties and Endurance seemed to have a better quality product coverage-wise and cost-wise than the biggest competitor. The signup was flawlessly easy and the warranty itself is fantastic. The first time I took my car to get it looked at, I had air conditioning issues. The compressor went out and I was having transmission issues. It took quite a while for an adjuster to get out there and look at it. They determined they could start on the repairs and I approved the teardown. Then, they had to have another adjuster come out and my car was there for almost a month.
About a month after that, the check engine light came on. OnStar told me it was something about the communication between the engine and transmission. The car was in there for a month and it doesn't seem like there's anybody in the claims department that really knows anything about anything. I would call and ask what was the status of the claim and when we were going to get an adjuster out and they didn't know anything. That was a little challenging. But ultimately, we got the vehicle fixed.

I had trouble getting calls through too. I felt like I was getting scammed because I would call and call, and the phone would just die and I’d get bogus answers. Their manager called me back, and I told her they did not have a care in the world about my questions. I got my money back from them, then I signed up with Endurance and it went well.
Everybody was very professional. There wasn't one person that even resembled the four people I spoke with at CarShield. I haven't had trouble with Endurance once. One thing though, I asked the lady, “If I get with Endurance, even if I'm with you for 10 years, my car keeps breaking, what's the cutoff line for repairs?” She said, “As long as you own the car, it'd be repaired,” but someone else told me different. “No, you get about 223,000 miles and they cut you off.” I was gonna call back about that but I haven't had a chance. Other than that, I’m very pleased with Endurance so far.
Hi, Ernest. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Every Endurance protection plan has a limit of liability, which is the maximum that can be paid under the contract. Once the limit is reached, many of our customers choose to get a new contract with a new limit of liability for further coverage.

It took a lot longer than it should. But it was like a back-and-forth thing. The dealership would blame Endurance. Then Endurance would say, “No. It’s the dealership.” Something that should have taken two weeks took a whole month. I told the dealership that I would not be coming back any time soon. Endurance could do so much. But the dealership didn’t give me a rental, so I had to pay for a car for a whole entire month. Endurance and Carshield's pricing is the about the same as far as the monthly payment. But with Endurance, I would pay for two years and receive five years of service. With CarShield, it was like, I just paid every month the same amount. There was no end. So in the five-year period, I would end up paying almost twice as much. I like that I could pay the warranty off in two years and still have another three years of service for the vehicle. They also gave me an additional 100,000 miles. If you are military, or a first responder or anything like that, you get an additional discount off the package. In addition, sometimes they're running specials like the customer appreciation special, where they give you $300 to $400 off. Mine was $300 off the actual cost of the policy as well.
The main reason I wanted the warranty was because of the high-end tech things I needed which included the navigation system, the voice assist, the park assist, the lane assist, the brake assist. There were too many things that could go wrong with my vehicle and everything when you're dealing with a computer or high tech is expensive. Just changing the radio and navigation is $2500. Endurance covers every single high-tech thing. Also, a lot of the other warranties that I looked at said they could use aftermarket parts or refurbished parts. I didn't like that and that's another reason why I chose Endurance. It's stated that they only use OEM parts for major things in the car. For the air conditioner, if that breaks, they are not using aftermarket parts. If the exhaust system or something happens with that, they're not using aftermarket either and that's in writing.
My warranty covers seals and gaskets. It doesn't have to be that something else is causing the issue. With other warranties, they cover seals and gaskets only if it's part of another repair. The warranty is beneficial. Within five years, I would get my money back from the policy. If something were to happen, and I totaled the car or sell it, I can always cancel the policy and it would be prorated.
The package that I have encourages me to get the maintenance done on my vehicle, and it gives me discounts on different things. I get a $50 credit towards oil changes. I also got a set of wiper blades for free. They give you different things toward the different intervals of the servicing that you're supposed to get as well. I read my policy line for line and I called them when I wasn't sure what different things meant. They were very helpful. If the rep didn't know the answer, she got a hold of someone else and gave me the answer I needed. My policy is a great deal. We purchased the car for my son and the monthly payment is low enough that he can pay that in two years because we wanted to teach him responsibility. It worked out and they're flexible with the monthly payment.

The air conditioning stopped working and they denied the claim originally. They said that the odometer was different by two miles than when I purchased the car. After I purchased the car and I filled out the forms for the Endurance, I put down the actual mileage that was on the bill of sale, which was the truth. But I went to a Mazda dealership after because my mechanic was booked and they did an oil change on the car. They reported it to CarFax and Carfax had two extra miles on it. It triggered an odometer rollback. I had to go through all kinds of hoops but the dealership really helped me a lot. They had to fax the original bill of sale for proof and it was all straightened out. Then, Endurance sent an adjuster to look at the repair order by Mazda.
I'm happy with Endurance, but I'm very dissatisfied with their middleman, Mepco. I send them the check I write every month for Endurance and they are late all the time. Endurance calls me almost every other month to say, “Hey, we didn't get our payment. What happened?” Also, there were times when I went to Wells Fargo and looked at my checks and there were canceled checks by Mepco. Mepco never sent the money to Endurance and I had to do the legwork to prove to Endurance that it was not me, it was Mepco.

Then, when I had to take my truck to the dealership for some issues, I didn't have any issues at all with Endurance approving the work that needed to be done. Having them is peace of mind that if something were to happen to my truck, I have a good shot at getting it repaired.

Please use a different company or better yet, pay out of pocket. If I could rate below 1 star and still be able to review I would. I basically just gave them money for nothing. When I traded vehicle and should have received a refund, after 3 months of extensive and exhaustive effort on my part, I was informed of a $15 refund as they CHARGED me the one claim I made. They "insured" me and kept that money, and then CHARGED back the claim. Plus took a payment and kept it AFTER vehicle was traded. I can't begin to tell you how much of a rip off this is. Oh and they say it is written in contract that way. LOL, beware, of this. There is a reason that 18% of all reviews are negative. I bought based on Consumer Affairs originally, I thought I had done the research properly, and now as a disabled, living on a limited monthly fixed income person, realizing I was taken advantaged of. Heed the headline... Just Don't

Probably 6,000 miles after I got my warranty, I had an issue with my transmission. The whole thing needed to be replaced and Endurance was great. They worked with the place that I needed them to work with. It was a good experience. I paid my deductible through my warranty and other than that, everything was covered. After the warranty, I probably saved myself two grand. When I buy a new car again, I would just use a warranty through Endurance instead of the dealer just because of my experience.

I had to go back three days later, rent a car for a whole month and then wait while they dilly dallied back and forth to approve the second turbo. I paid another $7,500 instead of paying just the 2,500 at that time when the motor was already on the car. I told them yesterday that I’m getting rid of the car anyway. So I’m done with it. The gentleman agreed, the way they did business, they took three weeks to pay. They paid the wrong company and something happened. I called Endurance and got my own warranty, and I explained to the guy that I wanted the best warranty that they have. He said the warranty that I purchased would cover everything that the vehicle came with with a new factory warranty. He made the joke that we can't call it bumper-to-bumper because it doesn't actually cover the bumpers, but it covers everything between the bumpers. I said, "Okay." Shortly after I bought my truck, I had a problem with a left rear-wheel bearing. The keeper on the wheel bearing had a problem, but I found that that was a common problem. Since I just purchased the vehicle, I contacted the dealer I bought it from and said, "Hey, I got the warranty, but I don't wanna use the warranty for this because this is something that you guys should cover." So, I had that dealership I bought it from cover that repair. I didn't call Endurance about it.
A while later, I get a check engine light, and it is the DEF fluid level sensor, which you can only get as an entire assembly, comes with the pump, and comes with everything. I said, "Okay. Well, this is something that should be covered, because the gentleman told me, 'It is from behind the front bumper to in front of the rear bumper, covers everything.'" I called them up and they said, "Oh, sorry, that's not covered." I was like, "Okay. Here we go. This makes perfect sense." A typical warranty company that I deal with will be like, "Oh, well, we'll cover a water pump but not a leaking seal." They can get out of covering something, and that's exactly what Endurance did. They said, "Oh, yeah, the pump's covered, but the sensor's not. Since the sensor's, the bad part, we're not gonna cover it."
I could have just put down the phone and called them back a couple of days later and told them the pump was bad, but I didn't, because we're honest. It still covers my engine and transmission, and those two are very high-ticket items. They're very expensive. So, if one of those two should go out, at least I'll have insurance on that but I'm not really satisfied with Endurance. The last guy I spoke with did a very good job at keeping me as a customer because I was gonna just cancel it, but the guy before him could use some polishing.

Endurance kept turning me here and there to repair my car and then they could not repair the car fully. I'm not happy because they refused to pay for my repair. The car had the problem before I started the insurance but the real issue is I had an account with them and they closed it because they said they couldn’t reach me to get the payment automatically drawn from my account. After I changed my banker, apparently, they said they tried to reach me and they could not get to me. And that is far from the truth. By the time the car had issue when I took it for repair, they told me that my insurance was dropped. I have paid over $2,000 on the first account and now that the car had an issue, they said they could not reopen the account. But I have to open a whole new account. So, I did.
When they asked for the oil change from the repair shop, the repair shop also knew that my AC needed to be checked. And they said that because the issue was already there when I got the new account, they no longer covered that. I even told them that I can pay up to the amount that they said they were calling me and I did not respond, and then they reinstate the account. But they said no and the worst part was that my payment even almost doubled. From 110, it went to 200 and something.
I talked with customer service in getting the rent-a-car, which was another issue. They said I couldn’t get a rental car until I got a case number and then, I had to call Enterprise. Endurance wanted me to pay and they were gonna reimburse me. It took them almost two weeks to approve the case before they could even get me a rental car and the rental car they bought me was not even anything compared to my car. They said that when my car has an issue, they will give me a similar thing to my car. That wasn't even similar. Endurance should compensate your customer after they pay, after all, over $2,000 in their first insurance and they never have any issue or did any repair. They should compensate them when they have an issue for the second account too.

His was more expensive but sold Me On $50 oil change reimbursement and brake pad coverages which almost offset the higher cost. I agreed and when I went to file a claim a year later I find out I was put on the basic of all basic plans (same as Carshield except $40 more) and I called talked with rep and all they want to do is put me on another plan and not cover repairs. So, you'd be without a car for about two weeks. Other than that, they did really well in handling the claim. The holdup is the investigator. It might be two to four days before the investigator gets there. In the meantime, you don't have a car or you’re just spending money on a rental. I am writing this review to help customers like myself. I bought a 2016 Yukon, and I was very happy, because I been wanting this vehicle for a long time, so I was beyond excited to finally have been able to buy it. I investigated auto warranties to protect my dreamed car that I have finally been able to buy. I compared prices with different auto warranties and compared reviews, I quickly found that Endurance was supposed to be the best one according to reviews, and well, I have quickly come to find out that Endurance is just as bad, as any other auto warranty as the others. My dream car quickly became a nightmare, and my Endurance warranty as well, or even worst.
When I bought the policy, (which is much more expensive than other ones, but I bought it because according to reviews, it’s a great company), they promised me the heavens and everything in them. They explained that for the policy to become effective, I had to wait 30 days and then drive 1000 miles from the purchase of the policy, well, now they are playing with words and denying the claim saying that I was supposed to wait 30 days and then drive 1000 miles for the policy to become effective, therefore making it a pre-existing condition.
Well, according to the contract, on page 12 of 26, even if there was a pre-existing condition, they are not supposed to deny the claim!!!! Also, the times that I have talked to them over the phone, they have been rude, not informative, and rude by talking over me when I am trying to explain something. This company is causing stress on me. I am very disappointed and unhappy with Endurance Car Warranty.

I bought a 2006 Ford Econoline van in early 2000, and my wife applied for an Endurance warranty. Over 2-1/2 years later, we filed for a claim, which was denied, due to a "mileage discrepancy". It seems that the dealership wrote the mileage that was on the van, when they purchased it at auction, on our purchase agreement. However, they listed a higher mileage on the CARFAX report (about 150 miles difference), due to them driving the van back from the auction, running errands, etc.. Not knowing this, my wife used the number on the purchase agreement as the actual mileage.
Since it was purchased, Endurance never contacted us about this "discrepancy", but happily took our payments. So, after all this time, and several thousand miles of driving, we had an issue with noisy axle bearings, a "covered" repair. And, the claim was denied. They breached the contract, and IMHO, owe us a full refund of all fees that were paid in, since THEY breached the contract. I am still trying to resolve the issue, but keep getting put on hold every time that I ask to speak to a manager. Note: my wife was told that they would rewrite the policy, with the mileage corrected, but that the current repair would NOT be covered. SCAMMERS!

I have not had any issues with Endurance. The claims process seemed to take a while but I'm not gonna blame them because I think my biggest problem was my dealer. It took eight days to get my car back for a one-day job. I think the dealer was overwhelmed. The dealer always blames the insurance company no matter what. When I went out there, every time Endurance said they were gonna show up, they showed up. So, I’m more inclined to believe it was the dealer because I've had trouble with that before.
From my experience, Endurance is a good company. I had a problem with my transmission module and Endurance took care of the cost. The car came back fine. They came out to look at the car to make sure that everything is as the dealer said it was. They said they would be there by this time. They were there by that time. The car seems to be running fine since the repair. The dealer tried to tell me that I would have to wait another day because the insurance company had not paid. When I called the guy at Endurance, he said, “I've already paid them.” I called the dealer back and they told me, “Oh, yeah. We got paid. The car will be ready in an hour.” So, I'm very happy with Endurance.

After I got a quote from Endurance, it seemed like it was the best for my car. The guy I dealt with answered all my questions and gave me everything that it covered, how long, and what I need to know about it. He was informative. My biggest thing was covering everything, and I liked that it was 400,000 miles. I had a recent claim, and it took a little time but I got everything I needed to be done on the car, which I appreciate. Because it was so much money, somebody had to come out and approve. They had to go to my mechanic and look at what was done. That took a little longer than expected because it took two weeks to get that done.
The only thing I had a problem with was until it was approved, they wouldn't give me a rental car at all. It took like almost weeks. So, for two weeks, I don’t have a car. I had to pay out of my pocket for a rental car. It took longer than it should have because they kept giving me and my mechanic a runaround about who needed to approve it. It needs to go to the other guy, and the guy won’t be in on this date and that date. After the car was broken down and the guy came out to inspect it, he came the next day, which was good.
