    Endurance was one of the two better companies to go with, and they had better pricing than the other company. And they covered more. I had them email me the complete policy because I wanted to read it in black and white. I started with somebody, but I couldn't commit immediately. I ended up getting the supervisor and it went well.

    When I Googled, Endurance was the number two or three and I decided to go with them. I pretty much understood the rep's explanation of the coverage. And making my payments was easy. It came right out of my account. To submit claims, before I do anything, I'm supposed to call them first and tell them that I'm going out to the repair shop. Then the shop is supposed to contact them too.

    Endurance was rated relatively high on some of the reviews, and they were easy to work with whenever I called. I was apprehensive about this extended warranty stuff, but Cadillac didn't call me back in a timely manner while Endurance was responsive. The rep went through the coverage, the contract, and the pricing. He did cover a few different options when I inquired. At the end, he did explain the mileage. I've not used the service to really be educated but I felt it was a good decision and I hope I was right.

    The way the guy from Endurance called back on the phone was more of a hard sell and he didn't need to be because I had already decided I was gonna go with them. I just hadn't called back to sign up yet. He asked me what it would take to sell me this warranty. I told him that the monthly price was still a little high. He then said that they already cut if for me three times. But he hadn't done anything and I didn't know what he was talking about. The bottom line was they still had the lowest price.

    For the most part, the experience with Endurance was fine. The phone call with the guy wasn't lengthy. He went over the main things that it covered. They didn't really do that much explaining. They also give this little speech about having 30 days to cancel. So far, everything is fine. As far as the coverage, I was gonna go with a different company until I realized that they were open-ended. I didn't want something that ran forever until I canceled it. I wanted something that I knew that after so many years, I'd be done paying for 'cause you wouldn't know what would happen to the vehicle.

    I researched a little bit online. Endurance had some really good reviews and they were the first to contact me back. The pricing seemed right so it was good. Both of the people I spoke to were very eager to help and knowledgeable. Then I was told I would be getting a little bonus of $200 thing for paying the full amount upfront. I was thinking that it’s gonna be like a gift card thing. But I could only use a certain amount per item I'd choose to purchase. I wish they just have a better explanation of that.

    My son is a researcher and before I purchased Endurance, I told him about that and he came back and told me that it was a good company. They were rated very high and after researching the reviews, the reviews were excellent. You hear horror stories about you purchase things and they never come true for you and I kept hemming and hawing, but the rep was very patient with me. Any questions that my son came back to me about it, she would call me. In fact, she called me three days in a row to answer any questions I had. She wasn’t pushy at all like some people are. She gave me time. She also asked if it would it be okay if she called back the next day, which was fine. The payment is very good too. It’s giving me the option of not having to do a one lump sum, and it’s very affordable for me. It’s also nice that if I have extra money, I can prepay it all and I don’t have to worry about making the payments.

    I did some background research as far as credibility and I found out that Endurance Auto Warranty is actually a reputable company. I called some dealerships and Endurance is one of the names they mentioned. I wanted to get an extended warranty. I know how important it is to have one. Their customer service was good but I had a hard time getting through. I didn’t know my exact date to pay so I called. I got disconnected a couple of times, trying to get in touch with the right person. It was good once I got in touch with somebody I could talk to. My payment would come directly out of my account so it should be pretty easy.

    We purchased a low-mileage, used car and it was just at the end of its regular warranty service so we decided we wanted to extend it. There seemed to be some pretty good recommendations for Endurance online and the rep who assisted me had the information that I needed and wanted so that was good. I usually do this for trucks, not for passenger vehicles, but I also pretty much knew what kind of coverage I wanted so they were pretty straightforward.     I was with Cargo and then I went online and looked for something different. I called a couple of places and I liked what Endurance was offering. Even though it was a little higher, it was worth it. If something happened and I have to get a rental car, I wouldn’t have to worry about somebody telling me we’d get that and then they’d reimburse us.     I checked with ConsumerAffairs because I wanted to check on Endurance's rating. I figured that the information would probably be fairly reliable. I’ve never done it before but I couldn't imagine if there would be a bad company listed on the ConsumerAffairs website. The whole purpose would be to make sure that they're on the up and up. So I took that and ran with it, and we’ve been pleasantly surprised. Endurance has been really wonderful. With all of this that’s been going on, my actual warranty won’t go into effect until the end of this month due to financial strains but Endurance has been more than flexible with helping us in taking care of everything with our payment arrangement. So I really can’t complain as far as their customer service is concerned. They’ve been really great.

    Endurance had some pretty good reviews and it looked like a good program for me. I had a five-year-old car with low mileage, 37,000, but their program seemed like I could get a bumper-to-bumper all the way through to 100,000. I went right on and got my warranty. It was good dealing with their specialist. There was plenty of information and all of my questions were answered. The payment goes through Mepco and it's fine. So far, so good. It’s pretty well wide open and if you have a breakdown or you need repairs, you can go to any ASE-certified.

    I had a situation where I went ahead and put two grand up front. But I had to not do that because of the stuff going on so Endurance handled it very well and took care of it right away, and I thought that was really good. I haven’t had to use the service, I’ve got a really good car, but I wanted to make sure I had something in place until I finish the payments. Everybody I worked with was great. Everything was explained pretty well. I read through the materials, so the questions that I asked were pretty much answered. The only thing that wasn't clarified was that I had to get the car fixed where I bought it. I’m in South Carolina and I bought it in Fort Myers, Florida. I’m assuming I’ll have to drive all the way back there and get it fixed if there was a warranty issue. But there’s also a place that specializes in working on these cars, EuroWorks, and I think I read in there that would be okay. Then their app does not work.

    Endurance had 4 or 5 stars when I checked the website to get extended warranty. So I decided to go with them and the rep I worked with was great. He called me when I was on the freeway so I had to stop and I talked to him. Because of my mileage, I got the new car warranty that is for six years or 131,000 miles. Then I paid for three and the other three are free. I haven't received the paperwork but I was being patient. I got the plan on February the 15th and March 15th was the end of the first month, which is my probation period.

    I have a five-year-old Hyundai and the warranty that came with the car is expiring in April. So, I wanted to have continued coverage. I looked online and Endurance seemed to have a pretty good rating. I called other people but Endurance was a better deal and they seem pretty easy to work with as far as getting it all set up.     Consumers Affairs and AARP recommended Endurance so went for it. My car is a 2003 and I just paid out $1,000 to get the pipes and everything replaced. My feeling is that if I had this warranty, they would have not charged me. I would have been paid for. The Endurance rep was very nice. He sent me a sample of what the paperwork was. They had no contract to sign, which I thought was unusual. Usually, if you’re going to buy something like that, you get a contract and you have to sign for it.

    I had to keep asking them to send me the contract so I could see what I’m getting before I sign up, which they didn’t do. They finally sent it to me but they already signed me up. They already deducted the rest of the payment from my credit card which I did not want. They did not ask me whether I wanted to pay them directly or through a credit card. I did not want it put on my credit card. That’s the only problem I’ve had with them and I’ve tried to resolve them.

    Everything went well except for the $250 Amazon gift card that I was told that I would get. There wasn’t any gift card. There was a discount on gift cards, but there were no discount on Amazon gift cards. So I was kinda thrown in a loop for that. I was a little disappointed. They didn’t explain that very well. They just said that I would get a $250 gift card if I sign up. So that kinda persuaded me, and then the rep told me I had to wait until I made my first payment, which wasn’t true either.

    I was looking for the gift card in my email because I was supposed to get it after the first payment, and then I ended up calling Endurance and they told me that they sent it to me last month. I finally figured it all out and logged on to the web page and there was nothing on there that I wanted to buy. So it was a little misleading. They have to be more clear about the promotions. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with Endurance. The rep explained all about the policy pretty well. I understood things that are getting covered under my vehicle.

    I traded my vehicle in. It’s a nice vehicle and I wanted to make sure it was covered. It was just right at the end of its warranty.     Despite the fact that I don't know anything about Auto Warranties, Endurance's rep was not annoyed with all of my questions. Shortly after getting the warranty, we had to file a claim. Now we're waiting to see if Endurance will cover it. I'm paying a lot of money for something that we don’t even know will cover things until later on today. When their guy came out to inspect my vehicle, he said that Endurance needed the engine taken apart because they may not cover it but pieces of it instead. I was also told that if Endurance will not pay for my claim then I have to pay $1,000 just for them to tear it down and not fix anything. This is frustrating because I'm not making money right now.     I got a lot of people that have new trucks with the same year as mine, and a few people are having mechanical issues already, and it always seems to happen after their manufacturer warranty.     It's very important to have a car warranty. Endurance had very good prices and the warranty coverage that they had compared to others covered a more expensive amount for not even a higher charge than most places. Also, there are benefits that are given when you sign up with Endurance. They definitely work with me. They let me pay the deposit amount and they helped me with a little extension because I wasn't able to pay the full amount. Within the first month, they made sure I paid that. It's already active.

    It's also very easy to navigate my online account with them. I don't have to go to the frequently asked questions. I had any, I would start clicking on certain links in there and they just answered my questions with the information. They answered my question the moment I picked something to see what it offered or what information it had for me. I didn't have to call to ask any questions.

    But I recently lost my vehicle. I was gonna refund but I was told that with my car warranty at the dealership that I had, I had to check and see their deal to make sure I'm not getting overpriced compared to Endurance's deal. Right now, their deal is good but I still have to go to the dealer's to try to remove the other one to keep this one.

    The lady that I went through to purchase Endurance was great. I have no qualms about her. However, the company that Endurance uses that makes their decisions on the coverage and what they're going to approve and not approve and stuff is absolutely horrific. The very first time I had a claim, they found some grey area to deny it. I just had the truck serviced and everything checked and it was fine. They didn't want anything to do with it saying it was a preexisting condition and me being able to show that it wasn’t. I have all the service records. It was in the same dealership. I also have a clean bill of health on the truck.

    The people kept telling me why would I even ever take it to the dealership, that they're so much more expensive, which is not their decision, it’s mine. My truck is still under factory warranty so I’m going to go to the dealership. I’ve lodged a complaint against the second gentleman that I talked to who was absolutely demeaning and argumentative. I’ve gone to his manager. He stated it was being recorded. I told him that it was wonderful because I wanted to get a transcript of it. Basically, they told me to go pound sand, I was absolutely floored.

    It stinks as I don’t wanna black-cloud the entire company because of a handful of associates who are not polite and courteous. But unfortunately, that had been my experience. I ended up having to spend about $2,100 on that repair and this service is almost five grand. I’m going to be canceling the policy. I’ve got it set on my calendar to cancel before my next payment. The type of money I had to put out for the repair and the type of money that I’m paying for that service is not worth it to me.

    I had the motor and transmission in mind when I signed up with Endurance. The main thing is that even though I don't have a lot of miles on it, it can still go bad. Having the warranty is very valuable because I hate to take another car of mine down for the transmission and I don't wanna have to pay that much for it to get it fixed. However, I need to get a copy of my policy from Endurance so I can pay it off. They said it would be out within 7 to 10 days, but it has been almost a month and I haven't gotten it.     For the love of God please don't purchase a warranty from these people, if you value your hard earned dollar. They will tell you everything you want to hear to close the deal. Once you file a claim they will treat you like you have the Coronavirus. They will try to avoid you for 14 days hoping that all your symptoms have subsided and that they don't have to pay any money. You will never be able to speak to a supervisor, because they're too afraid to tell you you're about to be played. If you decide to deal with these people despite my warning, make sure to RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION!! They are crafty and always looking for any excuse not to pay on a claim. You're better off just saving your money each month and adding to it if something happens. Please, Endurance don't leave a message pretending like you want to talk either, cause for the past week all you guys did was run and hide like some little kids. Thanks for nothing!!

    I bought a used 2014 Chevy Silverado with 50,000 miles on it, I wanted an extended warranty because I drive around 1000 miles every 2 weeks. The truck now has 132k miles on it and I'm getting chatter from the torque converter, took it to the shop and had them look at it and they say it's the transfer case (it isn't). An inspector comes out, looks at my truck and denies my claim because I have "oversized tires".

    They are the exact same tires that came on the truck when I bought it, so I asked could I change policies to include the tires, they said yes but since they think the transfer case is the problem (again the torque converter is bad not the transfer case) it wouldn't be covered because it is an "existing issue". I had filed a claim before because my ac condenser went out and after this most recent issue I was told they shouldn't have covered it because of my tires... what do tires have to do with the ac system? If you are thinking about using Endurance, save yourself a lot of stress and don't do it...

    My car is paid off, but I don’t have any coverage anymore. I acquired a service contract for protection. That right there made me feel like it was a better purchase for me. I looked at about five companies, but it was a fast decision not because I didn’t know a lot about it, but I felt that there’s an industry standard for it. Endurance gave me a year of the upgraded service just in case. My car is at about 10 years and I’m at around 150,000 miles. I thought that my car is gonna mess up within the next three years anyway. And I tried to do the math when it came to how much the things that break on a car costs, like an alternator, getting oil changes, the drivetrain, or the transmission. Endurance is willing to take on the burden for me and I’m willing to pay for it. I felt like 95 bucks a month, plus the upgraded package, kinda evens out even if nothing happens to my car at all. And at least, I’ll be covered if one of those things did mess up.

    Signing up with Endurance was very easy and they offered me something extra, which almost made me feel better. Making payments was also very easy. I was able to do it with my credit card and then they set up autopay for it. The insurance is pretty low, which kinda puts me at a position where I’m saving about a hundred bucks but I’m still taking care of my vehicle.

    A lot of vehicle extended warranty companies are very pushy, but Endurance wasn't. They explained what they had to offer and what will be included in a purchase plan. And they even gave me like a two-week extension to fit in with my current bill payment. The rep explained to me what the claim process was and that I could select any repair center that was near me and just make sure that they accepted their policy. One little snag about them is that I need to register separate accounts for my vehicles when using their app but overall, everything is good.

    I have PTSD and I only have a couple of years left to walk, that was why I was looking for a vehicle. I saw this Murano and it's absolutely gorgeous. Nissan was gonna get me a warranty. After they got finished screwing me on the other stuff, I looked down and they charged me $3,500 for a warranty plan. I told them to give the paperwork and I signed it. I came home and read it.

    I see that Endurance is not ranked but I see places where they have really good remarks so I'm not upset. They started me at 29,000, and that was where I did my arguing down for. I told the guy that they screwed me out of $5,000. He said that they didn't and that it shouldn't have been marked at that price. Then I've got three years and that's 30,000. Wanting to go somewhere or having to go back and forth to the hospital in San Antonio would be a 150-mile roundtrip every day. If I end up going for treatment through the VA, it ain't gonna take a whole lot of time to do 40,000 more miles, and that upsets me. The mileage that I'm gonna be limited to is the thing that really bothers me.

    Other than that, I thought the guy did a pretty fair job. I didn't get the feeling that I was being pressured or connived by him. I need to understand what is covered. The impression I got was that everything's covered except for normal wear-and-tear. I'm having a hard time understanding all the ifs, the ands, buts, part of the first part, part of the third part, part of the fifth, part says part the second part, didn't say, but part of the third part said that. I wanted to clarify it.

    I saw this Tacoma four-wheel-drive truck and it had low mileage. 5000 miles was exactly what I was looking for. I gave Endurance the VIN number over the phone and they were able to pull it up online and see the pictures and everything else. They also sent me the CARFAX report before I went there. So, the truck has zero accidents and it looks really nice. It's the type of vehicle that I will only be driving on the weekends to haul my boat and then we’ll do camping and stuff like that.

    First, Endurance gave me the spiel about their coverage and then I tried to negotiate over the phone to get the best deal. They told me that it would be bumper to bumper coverage with $100 deductible and so forth. They gave me all the details. I ended up paying like $3,000 for up to 109,000 miles. There is also 109,500 or five years from the date of purchase. I wanted to pay in full and I asked them if I would get a discount if I did. Many people do that, like insurance companies and so forth. If you're paying in one shot, they are supposed to give you a discount. But Endurance did not. It surprised me that they said that I would have to make monthly payments for three years or 36 payments which they would put on a credit card.

    I then asked Endurance if they could send me something in writing, but they said that it had to be processed and then they would get something in writing. After I hang up the phone, I was gonna go to the dealership. But I really wanted the extended warranty in my pocket before I'd go there because they'd try to sell something crappy for a lot of money because they'd get a commission out of that.

    You would think that it would be better for me to see something in writing. Since I didn’t have much time and Endurance told me that there is a 1-month money-back guarantee, I took the risk. If this was some type of scam and I didn't receive the policy information, I could always tell them that I changed my mind and didn't want it. I went to the dealership and the truck was exactly what I was expecting. I purchased it. Everything went smoothly and I was very happy.

    I’m glad that I've called Endurance up before going to the dealership. The dealership, of course, did try to sell me an extended warranty for a lot fewer miles for a lot more money, which I turned down. When I told them of what I got from Endurance, the guy got pissed. So, my overall experience with Endurance has been good. It was very smart of me to get the coverage before I even purchased the truck.

    The policy looks very straightforward. It covers pretty much everything except the wear-and-tear stuff like brakes, tires and things like that. They also have roadside assistance. They even pay for the rental if I ever need to. Endurance seems well-known and it’s not like some weird thing. Now, they charge my credit card once a month and I’m gonna be paying for three years and I’m covered for the next five years.

    I was giving the car to my son, who's away in college and if he had a problem, I won't have personal knowledge about what the warranty covers. I needed something that I could trust. Endurance was recommended by an auto repair place, who is a good friend of mine. He told me he has worked with Endurance before and they've always paid their bills when they said they would and they do what they say they were gonna do. It was a good recommendation and it was what I was wanting because I had a warranty before and when I got some things done on my car, the company went, “Yeah. We don’t cover that if you would’ve read the fine print. Go to page four, go then to the very bottom to it.”

    But my friend told me to do my homework and so I did. I looked around and shopped. Endurance was one of the ones that the Better Business Bureau popped up. I also did Nextdoor and Endurance didn't come up as one that they didn't recommend. There were several on the list of ones they recommended not to use. So it was a process of elimination on the positive and negative side with their recommendation. Also, Endurance was one of the companies that called me back and that was cool. The guy was super nice and he walked me through the warranty.

    The payment is super smart too and it was cool that the rep had the freedom to make some adjustments. At first, he quoted me a price and it was a little higher than a couple of the other ones that were there. Plus, it's a used car and I want full coverage. Then he said he could give that price instead of a higher price for the full coverage. It was more than fair and I felt good about the deal. So, we did it right there. When I paid all-cash, he said he could do this price for all-cash and he could get approval from his supervisor to do it. So, it was an overall great experience.

    I got a little feedback from Endurance, then I did a little research and I saw what people had to say about them. They said that they would turn out good and their price was reasonable, which was the way that Endurance worked it with me. The rep I dealt with was great and answered all my questions. They also sent out my packages as well as the information and stuff that I really needed. They sent me that little booklet thing where I read over what all the policy covers, and I’m pretty much satisfied with it. Endurance's reps were courteous and kind, too. Plus, you’re not on the phone holding all day with them. Sometimes when I call, they'd say “One moment please,” then the call goes straight through.

    As far as what I’ve seen and what I’ve been with right now, I would recommend somebody to them. I’ve had several others where they'd call me and their prices were a little different.     Updated on 3/18/2020: I was contacted by a rep from Endurance after I got my truck back. We spoke on the phone about 2 times. I ended up taking my truck back to the shop the same day I picked it up so an investigator could evaluate the transmission. I told the person at Endurance exactly how to make the transmission clunk. Drive between 30 and 40 MPH, lift foot off the gas pedal and then give it gas like you are coming off the interstate. It is 100% repeatable. I thought for sure this would have been communicated. The investigator was unable to make it happen so the claim is once again denied. Even the mechanic at the shop was able to produce it following my description.

    I am going to pick up my truck again today now that it has been at the shop since the 3/9/2020. I am back in the same position of “guess I will have to drive it until a catastrophic break down happens before this company will fix a breaking transmission”. I drive mostly on the interstate so this is where it will happen. Wish me luck and I hope I will survive when it does finally give out.

    Original review: I purchased a used vehicle and opted to get an aftermarket warranty. I settled on Endurance. This was a HUGE mistake. I have done all my required maintenance. I noticed that my transmission was having an issue with very hard shifts and it stated leaking oil. 2 different issues. I took my truck to the shop where I have taken cars in the past. The shop called me and told me that Endurance would not cover any of the repairs. No code on the transmission and the rear main seal.

    I contacted Endurance and was told the same thing. I guess it will be covered after a break down which puts my life or someone else's life in danger. Another aftermarket warranty company covered the rear main seal on a car that I purchased for my son. If you are thinking about getting this service, DONT!!! You are better off looking elsewhere. This company is a true rip off and is a waste of money and time. The one thing that they did offer me was to defer my next months payment of $100. The repair cost of the rear main seal was $662.00. Not much of an offset. I didn't get a quote for the transmission form the shop.

    Endurance called a couple of times and they wanted to make sure that my needs were met and that I was getting the right price for the warranty. I was dealing with another company and the Endurance rep asked me about the rate I was getting and then she said that she could beat that rate. I had some questions and she laid out everything that was covered. She gave me every last detail that was covered on the other warranty and I realized that it was probably a better warranty than I was about to get from the other company.

    I was supposed to get something in the mail with my claim number on there. If I need to use the coverage, I can go to any dealership and show them the claim number and then they can look it up and see if it’s active and then go from there. There’s also a $100 deductible. So far, the experience with Endurance has been pretty good and I’ve already recommended them. It’s very valuable to have an auto warranty. If you have powertrain or transmission or some issues and it’s costly, you definitely need that.

    I did a survey for my type of car and Endurance was the contact that I got. I chose them because I assumed that they would cover the type of car I have. My protection specialist was good. He explained everything well and how it would happen. But I wasn't particularly impressed with the follow-up. The people were very nice but I did not get an actual copy of my policy. I had to request it. He sent me a sample of what it would be before I signed up and that was okay. But I had to call a couple of times and they said because of my Discover card, it took a while. They sent me another blank policy and I told them that I wanted something with my name on it. I didn't want the blank policy. Finally, they sent me a couple of emails and I finally got the hard copy.

    Also, I told the young gentleman that helped me initially that I did not want an autopay on my credit card. But that was the choice that he entered. I didn't like the autopay and I also didn't like that he had me go through the whole thing then would call me back and say that he had stepped away. I wasn't taking my call on his cellphone and that he couldn't be called on his cellphone. Interestingly, the only thing he asked me to record again was the fact that I authorized the Discover payment. But once I got the auto-bill, I was wondering if he actually had me authorize the autopay because that was something I specifically did not want. When I called to let the person know that I had not checked auto, a lady took care of it right away. The thing though was the number that I was told to call didn't answer me. They said they would call me but they never did. I didn't call Endurance and they took it off right away and sent me a paper bill that I can pay online.

    What I'm doing with the policy now is I'm giving them to my dealer as he told me to let him look at it because they have a lot of policies and depending on the company, some of them are really not that good. I'm gonna let him read it to make sure that I'm paying for something that would be honored. I avoided doing these things because my dealer didn't take everybody's policy. Overall, the initial correspondent was thorough. The guy that called me was very good but having them call back so many times then having to have to ask what policy, kinda took away from the initial call. But the last person I talked to, I had to make three calls to get an actual policy. They were all very nice and courteous but they weren't giving me something specific to me. I had paid the $340 deposit.

    My differential, rear bearings are bad, and my power steering cooler pump is leaking in a 2012 Jeep Cherokee. I have the Diamond coverage, and it is pay off and active until 2022. I had to call and beg for an Endurance adjuster to come to the dealer to verify the problem. The bearings are making a squealing and growling noise, but the adjuster said he did not hear it. The differential is bad, but an Endurance agent (United Car Care they handle the claims) told me that the dealer needs to take it apart first to see what is broken because they would only cover a limited amount of parts inside of it.

    However, taking it apart would cost me about $2000. The Power Steering is not covered. On top of that, the guy from United Car Care was rude and said it was no one else that I can talk to at United Car Care about the claim. At this point, like to get a refund. This service contract has been a waste of money. I wish I saved the money used on this contract to fix my Jeep. Contract #: **

    I’m out of my factory warranty and the extended warranty that I bought with the vehicle. I had two different other warranties that were just basically a powertrain warranty, where this one covers electrical stuff as well. I went with Endurance for the fact that the price was about the same as the others and it had way more coverage. The rep that I talked to seemed like he knew what he was talking about.     As soon as my car got close to the 35,000-mile warranty, I probably had about 50 different people calling me. I went over the 35,000-mile warranty and decided it was time to get the added insurance. So, I called up a consumer thingy and Endurance was number one so I gave them a call. There were a few glitches, but it was probably one of my better experiences. They push a little hard when I wanted to take my time, but it was normal aggressive trying to close the sale that time on that phone call.

    The only thing that surprised me was I had told them I don’t want anything taken out of my account and they went and took out of my account. I had split the payment, $100 then $54. I paid $100 and all of a sudden there was $54 missing, and that was Endurance. I’m a day late and a dollar short. I make probably about 200 less that I send every month, so I have to be very careful. Now I’m waiting to see if they take any money out of my account because I’ve got it set up so that I’d pay it up. I call in a payment or send it in. I’ve had times where there was no money in the account and they took the payment out. It cost me probably about $50 to $100 every time that happened that’s why I don’t want anybody to take money out of my account automatically. But if anybody asks me who they would go with, right at this point, from the way I was treated, I’d have to say Endurance.

    I spoke to the rep and I let him know what I was interested in and he made some recommendations. The initial experience was okay. But when I got their contract, they didn’t cover what they said it was necessarily gonna cover, which made me kind of upset. So I called them back to cancel. I didn’t get anything in the mail after I spoke to them when they made some modifications. I have to go back and try to figure out if they actually did the modifications on my contract that they said they were gonna do last week. So far, it’s not been a great experience.

    I was told today by the Endurance rep that the only plan available for a 6 year old like new 1.5 liter Ford Fusion LE with only 18,000 miles was a complete bumper to bumper warranty at a cost of $127 per month with a $100 deductible. Ford themselves is offering an extended warranty covering the extensive, important, comprehensive stuff for $27 per month with a $100 deductible, $20 per month with a $250 deductible, and $14 per month with a $500 deductible. I think the choices are pretty clear.

If I asked them if they could put me on hold, it would just be a few minutes and if it was just a little bit longer, they would apologize for that. I really like that. There was the service guy and then there was another service manager. The third one was like an accountant to verify something. So it was kinda frustrating. We can do a conference call if everybody wants to hear the same information instead of passing around the phone. For the payment methods, it looks like there is a third party who takes the payments because I got a mail from a third party. It’s saying that they’re going to collect the payments.     Updated on 03/19/2020: It’s been since January I have had to deal with this company. Since my family has had to deal with Endurance and their endless excuses to find out why this company has failed to do there job and what we paid for. We are a family of 3 elderly disabled people with one car. This company denied our first claim from the very beginning even though we met their requirements to get services on our vehicle.

    They then had one of there upper staff Jordan ** to help us fix the situation. He said he would like to work out the problem and why the company staff failed us in our time of need. So far he has done the same as the other 10 people I know all to about my complaint. He had me sent him my invoice to him. Then he said he would call on 10 of March after he returned to the office. He called on the 11 asking me to now sign the invoice and send it to him again and he would call me in a couple of days. He forgot to call me again I finally emailed him to get a response now he tells me he needs the receipts from transaction.

    I have to gather all the paperwork since it was a cash 2 other accounts to get money from and the snap finance for the rest of our payment. They could have asked for all this in first phone call apparently he wants to drag this out as far as they can. Here it is the 18 of March and I still have no real answer much less prompt care for screwing us over in begging. How is he any better than the rest of endurance auto warranty treatment. This my second complaint on consumer affairs and still wait for an answer on my BBB complaint. I'm sure now it’s the pandemics fault they still can’t give real customer care. I guess we are the only customer they can’t seem to continue to drop the ball or slip through cracks. Unbelievable. This company really has some serious customer service issues. I’m sure when I hear from him again I will have more hoops to jump through and ignore us.

    Original Review: I purchase the endurance Warranty via the Consumer Affairs suggestion. I did my 1000 mile wait period on my 2004 Tahoe that I use for 3 disabled to get to doctors. We only have the one car and wanted to be covered In case of emergency. We only drive short distances to doctors so it took 3 months to rack up the 1000 miles. Then one day on my way to emergency room with my mother and car wouldn’t start. I called the Endurance number they set me up with a rental right away. I drop the Tahoe off a Chevy dealer to get it fixed and check everything else out since we rely on one car for all of us. I thought everything was being taken care. Then dealer called and told me they denied the first problem which happened to be an alternator.

    When I called Endurance from the hospital to find out why they denied everything right off the start. They told me it was a little fishy that the alternator died 140 miles after the 1000 mile waiting period. They assumed I was trying to scam them. I told them an alternator just doesn’t last 1140 miles then if it was already bad and this didn’t matter to them they continued to deny everything and even told me to work with the car dealership to get better part numbers for them. This was very frustrating to me that I need to deal with the car shop myself. Their contract clearly says they will negotiate for better prices on customer behalf. They did nothing to help me. This whole time I’m running back and forth to hospital and taking care of my stepfather. They basically stuck me with the car rental bill and dealing with the repair shop myself.

    I did want to take any chances on anything else going bad and had the repair shop go through everything on car. They found a bad intermediate shaft on the steering wheel. The also found my ac unit had lockup over the winter. Now I’m stuck dealing with the problems myself with no help from Endurance. I brought in my own parts to fix AC and negotiation with deal to get better pricing on the work I needed. I even went ahead and have them do the 150000 mile service also just make sure everything was good. I continue to call Endurance trying to get help with the 3 major problems. They wouldn’t do anything to help me. I have ptsd and was very hard for me to deal with all the problems.

    I told Endurance I wanted to be reimbursed for all the issues they do cover. They said they needed to talk to their supervisor and they would call me back, which they never did. I had to take all of our savings and a loan to pay for it ourselves. We needed our car back so I could stop using the rental car that was adding up quickly. The Chevy dealer worked with me on prices knowing what I was going through with Endurance not following through and my mom in hospital. They caused unnecessary stress to me and my parents. I finally gave in and paid the bill ourselves. They would not work with me and just started making jump through hoops. Just so I could get some of our money reimbursed for car rental and 3 major parts. They continue to say they would call me back which of course never happened.

    Here we are over a month now and we needed the money. They made every effort not to pay for anything including rental bill. This is the worst company ever, they don’t do what their contract specified. I got so upset I finally filed a complaint with the BBB to get all of the money they already took out of our account. They still haven’t even answer the BBB complaint. Just dragging it out even longer. They do not care about their customers. They just want to keep your money for nothing. They are the biggest scam ever company. Preying on the disabled and elderly. I would never use this Warranty company again. They just cause more problems for you to deal with. Please save your money and get a warranty from another company.

    I had a wonderful truck, a Ford F-150, and unfortunately, somebody hit and totaled it. So, I had to quickly get another truck and I would rather pay to have a maintenance warranty on it so that in case something happens to it, it’s covered by a warranty. That’s why I went with the best plan that Endurance had and things are gonna work out really well with them because we maintain our vehicles. You have to change the fluids and all that kinda stuff, but if you do, then the warranty will really help you if something happened.

    As a matter of fact, the truck that got hit and totaled had transmission problems and had to have the transmission replaced. So, whatever I spent on the warranty on the truck before this one, I more than several times got it back because unfortunately, I had to use the warranty because the transmission had a lot of problems. So, I put a new transmission in that truck then 4,000 miles later, someone totaled it.

    Other than that, I’m really happy with Endurance. It’s a little expensive at $103 a month, but it’s well worth it. I also liked the people that I talked to when I called them. They were very good employees and I liked the plans that they offered. But the number one reason I went with them was because everywhere that I looked on the internet, their company had the highest-rated reviews. And their customers said better things about their company than other customers said about some of their competitors. The application process was wonderful and fantastic, too. So from what I’ve read online, investigated, and my experience so far, I’m glad that I chose Endurance. They probably don't have the advertising budget and exposure than some of them competitors, but I believe that I picked the best company.

    Read this if you're planning to sign a plan with Endurance!!!! When I bought my car 14 months ago I signed a premium extended warranty plan with endurance. It cost me around $130 a month and was the best coverage you possibly could buy at the time. I received a loooong list of things that were covered and didn't hesitate, it was after all the best coverage you could have! Recently when I experienced a few issues with my car I remembered signing my premium extended warranty and was happy making my first call to them and have my car fixed. My joy didn't last long when I after explaining the issues heard that those were wear and tear issues and that they were not covered by my "Premium plan".

    When talking to them they seem completely indifferent to the fact that everything that breaks can be explained as wear and tear. Today after paying $1800 for the "Premium warranty plan" and $3500 for fixing my car I terminated my plan! When calling to cancel my plan they said that they now have a "Premium premium premium plan" that will cover everything that will break. But it will cost me an additional $5000 on top of the $1800 I've already paid them and the $3500 I paid for fixing my car!!!! Really!!!! Completely useless!!?? Everyone!!!! Please save your money and put them on fixing your car when it breaks instead of giving them away to endurance!!!! I am ashamed of falling for it!!!! But I guess there's a first for everything!!!!     I had one warranty through another plan. But what they had promised me was nothing like that when I got the contract and after I paid so I did a research online and found Endurance. Derrick, the salesperson, really set his self apart. It came with a lot more with the same amount of money being paid, all but the deductible. However, I'd rather have somebody that makes promises they could keep in the event I ever needed it. I got a copy of the policy on email but it took me a long time to get the contract. The $250 reward that was promised was just asking for a credit card to give you your item, so I was a little confused on that part. Then I had scheduled a payment plan, and for some reason, it never came out and I couldn't reach anybody. She helped me try to save some money, and she explained everything to me. I was trying to explain to my wife and I was talking to her then the young lady took time and told everything to my wife too.     I wanted to see what the contract was before I purchased and Endurance said the best way was to purchase ahead of time, read the contract, and then I would have 30 days to cancel. There was no way that they could show me a contract unless I purchased one. I went ahead and purchased so that I could actually see what it was. The contract wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. There were a few things I wanted that weren’t covered and a few things had loopholes that I wasn’t really comfortable with. So, I called Endurance to cancel and I got transferred four times before they sent me to a sales manager. Straight up, the sales manager was extremely rude to me.     So, I purchased the warranty on my son's car, but never used it. We sold the car before the warranty expired and requested a refund on the remaining coverage. What they don't tell you is you can cancel the coverage over the phone, but you can only request a refund in writing. You can't send an email. It has to be a letter, notarized, and mailed to the office. I am going through the procedure now, but at this point I'm very skeptical on ever seeing a penny.

    I obtained a warranty and had to cancel it. I called on the 30th day, was told they couldn't help me and to call back. I was informed on that call that yes I would be due a refund. Called on the 32nd day, the warranty was canceled, no one word about my refund so I asked. I was told to produce a notarized odometer document and verify claims so my refund could be prorated. Claims? Prorated? What? It was a refund for the Deposit, how is that prorated? The rep stated to me, "I couldn't tell you, I wasn't involved in that conversation." I just wanted my deposit back. If Endurance needs my deposit that bad, keep it.

    I did some research and I looked up what is the best company for extended services or warranties, and Endurance popped up. They were at the top of the list. I reached out to them and the gentleman that I spoke to gave nothing but good reviews on it. But he told me also about Halo and the other third-party that I was going through. He said they’re third-party and there is a lot of hassle sometimes with third-parties. I told him they are a third party too. He said they are very much so known. But I still asked him searching questions in regard to what was the coverage, and how much was the down payment, which was fairly cheaper than what I was going with Halo.

    Based off the information that was given to me, it made me feel a little bit more comfortable and at ease that I went with the better choice by searching them with the Better Business Bureau, and doing my actual due diligence to make sure everything was what they said they were instead of just agreeing to everything and paying my money for something that I’m really not sure what’s going on.

    I bought a used car and it's a hybrid. It was something I had never purchased before and I felt like I needed a warranty on it. I went online and Endurance came up. I called them and it seemed like a fair deal, and I went with them. I got the Diamond Exclusive and I've been satisfied with everything they said but currently, I'm not satisfied because they took out an excessive amount of money out of my bank account that they didn't say that they were gonna do. Also, it's on a date that we did not discuss.

    I was not led in the right direction and I feel as though I talked to someone in a call center and then, they transferred me to someone else. The things that were told to me in the call center, which is why I originally decided to get the warranty, were not the things that were discussed in the packet or what I was seeing. I expressed the fact that I felt like I had been deceived. I was talking to them from the standpoint of what I discussed with the first person and then, they were talking to me from a whole different situation. They said that they didn't have a payment plan or a packet plan that resembled what I had specifically written down from the previous conversation I had with somebody, even to the point they told me that the person of the name that I wrote down that gave me that didn't work for them.

    I told them that I'm a dean list student for our school and I have to write down things that a parent says to me because it's pertinent information. So, if I'm doing something, I'm gonna write down the name, the phone number and the deal that I'm supposed to be getting with this packet that I was told I was getting. I would have never agreed to pay $220 a month for 48 months because that's the same amount I pay for my insurance on the car. But $188 down and $88 a month, and all of these things that they said that I was getting sounded like a great deal. He said that they sent me something and they sent me the book in the mail that explained all this. I asked why I was not given the deal that I talked to and they went back and played the recording of me and Gary on the phone. I said that was fine but I was talking to Gary in the context of the deal I was getting with Cedric, who they were now telling me doesn't work for their company.

    Everything was good when I purchased the policy. The rep sat there and explained everything. They were really good. While I was on the call with them, I had about five more calls from people trying to sign me up, and I had kept giving them the message that I had already signed up. When I sat down, they told me that there was 18 payments that are left and asked how do I wanna take it out. I told them they can do an automatic deduction from my account, and they said, “Sure.” So I paid the initial $178 to start with and then we thought the next payments would be automatically taken out. But my wife kept telling me that they haven’t taken the payment out yet.

    I called Endurance and I asked them what day were they supposed to take the payments out. The lady said, “We’re not.     I always pick my cars myself and shop around to find the right part. Sometimes, I'll take it into a dealer or a mechanic. I wanted to stop doing it.     I needed a warranty and Endurance had a fairly good rating. I was a little iffy with the rep though because he sold me this whole thing and you get a $250 credit towards the purchase. I could buy this stuff cheaper and they want more money than you could buy it for so it's not a deal. If I knew it was that bad, I would have asked him to give me the discount on my insurance. I don't want this stupid thing because this is garbage. He pitched that as part of being hard and then when I finally got it and looked at it, some of the stuff were useless. They over inflated stuff to cover their costs.

    My son says he has an issue with his car that he needs to take in and somebody let them take a look at it. So, I'm about to figure out how this whole warranty thing works and find out whether I'm in trouble. The other part I didn't appreciate is that they put me into a financing group, which I was not told. I thought it was just like insurance and I would pay the insurance company. They financed it through somebody and attached my credit and I did not know that was going to happen. All of a sudden, they came through a third party again. The rep hard pitched it and I realized that after the fact. The rep was selling things that had nothing to do with it and did not define what he was telling me exactly the way it should've been defined.

    I needed a warranty for my son and I looked at it, and then everything started to come in. The finance package kinda pissed me off. Also, the guy said I could cancel this at any time. But now, when I cancel it, I am still obligated to that finance company, and that's not what I expected. We will have a war when I go to give this thing service and it doesn't work the way it's supposed to be. Everything's supposed to be great and groovy. My concern is that when I deal with a finance company and all of a sudden, it's not the same thing. If it works, it'll be wonderful. I don't think this guy told me the whole story but everything could work out fine.

    I liked Endurance's high rating but I canceled my warranty with them. It made me pretty mad when they said, “Well, we’ll let you look at the plan,” and then, their rep ended up charging me before I end up looking at the plan the next day. They were good until I found out that they’re all out for the money. They have good sales reps but they shouldn’t tell you to look at the item and let you confirm it after you read what is covered before they charge your credit card. I tried to tell them it’s okay to do the sales and PR, but whoever was selling the item should really listen to their customers. And then, they found out what my VIN was when I didn’t even tell them. I held that back in case I wasn’t too sure.

    I quit it the second day afterwards, and then they wouldn’t return my calls. They wouldn’t return my emails that said, “Congratulations,” to the guy who ended up selling it. I responded three times telling him I had canceled it. He wouldn’t respond at all. By the time I contacted Endurance, it took about five days. What happened was, I told them to take it out, which they did, and then they put it back in my account, and then took it out again, which made me mad because I didn’t have the money the second time. So, it was terrible. I hope I never hear from them again.

    I bought an older vehicle and it’s over 150,000 miles. I heard about the different service contracts so I started looking into them. I looked up what were the top 10 rated providers and Endurance was one of them. I contacted them and another one that I looked into but ended up selecting Endurance. They gave me a more comprehensive policy with the high miles on my truck. I figured it’s valuable enough for me to spend 90 bucks a month for the contract on the off chance that something seriously breaks. They also just automatically do the contract payment on my credit card.

    Signing up for the package was really easy. There's no big deal. They were very helpful in going over the coverage and making sure that I understood what I was getting and how it worked, and that I could cancel any time I wanted to as far as after I do my downpayment and I got to the monthly payments that go out to a certain point of time. After that, they’ll last two years or a little bit.     The reps from Endurance were kind and the signing-up process was great. I was told that on filing a claim, I have to wait 30 days or 1,000 miles from the date of purchasing. Making a payment wasn’t difficult at all and the service that Endurance gave me was excellent.
