I bought a used car and googled extended warranties. I looked at the reviews on a lot of the different businesses and then I came up with Endurance. The guy was really nice and he helps me out. I also have the app on my phone and I plan on looking at it.

My buddy just hooked up with Endurance because they are covering way more than what Toco does. I was gonna hook up with Toco and they never got back to me. I thought of finding another provider and Endurance came up online. They were number 3 or 4 on the list of top-rated companies. The said, "Put 160 down and we'll give you 209,000 miles on your truck." After I got off the phone with Endurance, Toco finally ended up calling me. They were gonna offer me 225,000 miles on my truck, 3 years, for $91. I called Endurance back to cancel and they offered me way more miles so I thought of staying with them. I went from 209,000 to 234,000 which works for me.
When I was on the phone before I got hooked up with them, they stated the engine, the tranny, and anything pertaining to the rear end and front end were covered, but I wasn't sure about the wheel bearing. I wanted to see if I have a wheel bearing on my vehicle coverage or not. The rep was rude. I didn't like him. He said, "I don't understand why you got to call up to find out. You need to take your truck to a garage." I said I wanted to find out if it's under warranty because I have not yet received any papers from Endurance. If I take my car to a garage and it's not covered, they're gonna charge me for looking at my truck. If that's the case, I'll just buy the wheel bearing myself and stick it in.
The guy who hooked me up and took down all my information was really good. But with the second guy, I didn't get explained a lot of things. Aside from not getting my paperwork, I didn't know anything about the app. All I know is I got an email on my phone. Every time I turn around, my email wants to delete it, so I have to say undo. I'm afraid that one of these days, I forget to do that, and there that goes.
The other thing is my vehicle broke down on Saturday and Endurance wasn't even open until Monday. What the hell will happen if my truck breaks down on a weekend and I can't get it fixed? With Toco, it's a 24-hour thing. So, if it happened, they just say to take it over to the Dodge dealer, drop it off, and they'll assess what it is and go from there. I've been without my truck since Saturday. I'm not able to drive it very far because it's pretty bad. It's sitting in my driveway. I was supposed to go pick up a pickup truck bed for my truck 'cause it rotted out. I ended up having to rent a pickup truck to go and get it.

I shopped around, found Endurance, then I contacted them. They answered all my questions and it was thorough. I stopped looking after that. The Ford F-150 I bought a year and a half ago was out of warranty from its company. It had 60,000-something miles. They were pretty good vehicles, but I didn't wanna take a chance and I decided that I needed to get some coverage in case something goes wrong with it.
The buying experience and what was offered to me were excellent. Every question I had for the rep, he answered. He wasn't trying to sell me on something that I didn't want. He was really thorough, and so was the person he put me through to take my information. I gave them my card right over the phone, they took it, and within a week, I had a contract. All the information that I provided, I got it in my truck. I had to wait 30 days before the warranty would become active because that's a basic policy for all warranty companies. All aspects of purchasing the warranty was pretty positive. I felt very comfortable after I did that.
I'm an engineer, so I could pretty much do most anything except big ticket items, like engines and radiators. What didn't come with the warranty was maintenance like tires, batteries, and oil changes. I've recommended Endurance to several other people and a few people have already gone beyond and got their warranties as well.

Choosing Endurance was probably the worse choice I’ve ever made. I got a motor in my back door that needed to get fixed because it’s shorting out and not working. Endurance is not fixing it. I had problems with my car. I couldn’t get in. They didn’t help me at all. I came out of my pocket. I am waiting to cancel Endurance. I’m really upset that I’m passing my 30 days and can’t get any of my money back. So, I can’t stand them. They’ve been no assistance to me and I feel like I spent money to just put a problem into my life.
I actually went online trying to find a good car warranty company for the Mercedes I had just bought, and I went with the best plan I could find. And I went with Endurance because I was looking at packages. There was one competitor that pretty much offered the same thing, however Endurance is a private place and they use like a subsidiary place. So, I went with Endurance because they are pretty much wrapped up into one.

When I was researching, Endurance was the first one that came up. And it sounded good, so I went with them. 'Cause I didn't have a warranty and I still had payments on the truck, so I wanted to get something in case something was to happen, at least I was covered for a little while. The reps of Endurance were very knowledgeable. They gave me all the information, took care of me and got me signed up. Everything went great with the purchasing process. And so far, everything they told me is the way it's working. So, I can't complain.

I was shopping around and the rates with Endurance are better and where I could take my car is close to where I live. The cost is affordable, especially now, because I'm not working. The others were $130 to $150 and theirs is $88. But when I was getting the coverage, they told me that I was gonna be getting a card in the mail and that's the card I would take to get the car fixed if anything's wrong and I haven't received that yet.

We like to pay a year ahead of time but it ended up being a monthly payment and we didn’t want to do payment fee each month. I’d rather know that for the year it’s paid. So they helped us get that straightened out and we’re able to do that. So we’re good. I didn’t have any problem at all with their rep compared to some of the others that called and harassed us even though we were trying to get it. The process was easy and they helped us out and we finally got it where it needed to be. So we’re happy about that. One less thing for us to worry about right now. It was pretty clear-cut insurance for a year. It all worked for us.

I looked up online and I was looking up car warranties and then I looked up the Blue Book on it. And the customer service of Endurance was very nice and very pleasant. He helped me and answered my questions, and didn’t seem like I was putting him out. Everything was fine with the purchasing experience. The only thing that could have been changed is maybe not as pushy. It was like, “If you only do it today, we can give you this. But it's only good for today, and you have to do it today.” I know they wanna make a sale, but they didn’t really have to push it on me like that.

I bought a Mercedes and knowing that they’re a German car and they’re very expensive to fix, I thought I better get a warranty just in case. The place where I bought my car from was trying to push me to get Allstate and the prices were ridiculous. It was $350 a month. I went on the Consumer Report thing and it gave me a whole bunch of different providers. Endurance was rated the top or second one and when they gave me pricing, I said I was taking it. The rep was amazing. She even got me a discount for my down payment and everything. I wanted bumper-to-bumper all the way to cover everything just in case and I did the payment right over the phone. It was easy.

According to everything I read, Endurance sounded the premier auto insurance group. I used another one before that was supposed to be one of the best. It was CarMax and they didn't cover anything. They charged me up to wazoo and then what they did cover, they didn't pay for. So, I had to cancel them. So far, I've been satisfied with Endurance. They haven't disappointed me.
About a week ago, my water pump started leaking. And I called them and the girl said, "Well, do you have a place?" I said, "Yes, I've gotten one. I don't need a rental car or anything." They said they'd get to it and have it out the same day. I told them that I could get the water pump through my auto parts place here and I could get it at a discount. So they told me to go ahead and get it done and then just send the bill in. The people who work for Endurance have been nice and friendly. Any question I've had, they've answered and try to bend over backwards to help me get what I need.

I had a list of stuff and I asked him what they would fix and different things that some of the other ones wouldn’t do. I liked the way he talked and what he was spitting, so I went with Endurance. He did an excellent job and he was the whole cause for me to go with them. Making payments is easy as well. They pull the payment out my bank account and I don’t have to worry about it.

I bought another car and I wanted to get a warranty. I told Endurance what I could afford, and their rep said, "Well, this is what your money will buy." He didn't care what I could afford. He wanted me to buy Endurance because of what the package covers. He told me how much it would cost. So, I told him I'd think about it and I'd call him back. Then, two hours later, they called me back, and then the next day they kind of pressured me into buying, which I did not like. The process of getting it wasn't very good.
I got the premium package. It covers everything. The payments are very difficult right now since I'm not working because of the virus. You would think with something like this, no one's driving anywhere. I'm going to the grocery store and I drive to go to a park to walk, and that's the only places I drive. You would think my insurance company is cutting breaks on people because they can't make payments because we're not working because of this virus. Endurance is out to get their money. I'm not going anywhere so there's no threat of me getting into an accident or anything going wrong with my vehicle, but as long as Endurance is getting their money from people, they're fine. They're not gonna cut a break on people.

When I saw some Endurance commercials, it sounded good. Then, when I called and found out how much it was, it sounded really good. Last week, I called Endurance Auto Warranty. We had to get some tires and I got it. They were really good on the day that I called. However, I kept getting emails or voicemails telling me that they wanted my mileage over and over again. Finally, when I called in, I asked why they kept asking. Also, I know the mileage was an issue. It kept changing, so I was thinking, “When is this gonna cap out so that I can do what I wanna do?”
We purchased a 100,000-mile warranty from Mopar when we purchased the car, but we did not know until the other day. I had to take the car in for service because it was still under 36,000. The man said that I was fine. I said that I wanted to get the car fixed before we hit the 36,000 miles and he said that I was good up to 100,000 miles. So, we wanna cancel Endurance since there's no sense of paying for both. The big difference is what our co-pay would be if we had to use it. We also won't get free tires.
I wanna stop the payment before it comes out again on the 11th of May. I have called them for over a week and I left messages, but nobody has returned my calls. I understand people are out of work and that they're working at home, but I've dealt with some other companies like Verizon and they still answer their phones even though they're working from home.

I am changing this to a 5 star review. Endurance went above and beyond to take care of me after my horrible experience with the repair shop. It made me feel like I mattered.
Original Review: April 22, 2020
My transmission claim was dented through Endurance because their 3rd party could find the issue with my car that the Nissan dealership found. Not only did I have to cover the rental cost, I had to pay for the diagnostic testing as well. That’s $225 out of my pocket. When I got this coverage I was assured that there was no red tape and I would it would be no issues with coverage. Being that I am a first essential personnel, I need my vehicle. It’s terrible that the coverage I paid for is not helping me in this dire time. Horrible and rude customer service to boot. After referring 6 friends to them, this is how I am treated. Please beware of this company. They will find any reason they can to not cover your claim.

The reps explained and answered all of my questions pretty well and I decided to go with Endurance for the price and the reviews that I've seen online. The cost of it on a monthly basis is around the same amount that I was actually saving for car repairs – $130 a month. The majority of the reviews were also good. In fact, I haven't seen any negative remarks about the company. Then when I was reading the contract, I found that the warranty covers a lot of the essential items, like the main components of the car. It'd be kinda costly if I wanted to repair it by myself.

I found Endurance on the ConsumerAffairs website -- it is one of the recommended ones. I have had several extended warranties over the years, so I knew what I was looking for. I was looking for what the coverage is, where I can take it, and what I have to go through to claim. If I have a problem with trying to process something, then they are not worth a dime. Purchasing was very easy and simple, and there was no high pressure. They offered what they had and what they could offer me, and we went from there.

I did an online search and based on the vehicle I had, Endurance was my best chance of obtaining some kind of insurance. The process of signing up with them seemed fairly simple. I tried to be clear with the reps because I have not a stock vehicle. So, they were able to check into all of my questions at the time and get them answered. They were able to satisfy my needs with a warranty based on the vehicle I had. They were good about getting quick responses and were able to go to a supervisor to find out if the coverage was there.
I paid for a different company's insurance and then when I went to Endurance, I came to find out the policy was never valid because I have oversized tires on my vehicle. If those questions would've been asked originally, I would've never signed up for that one. The Endurance reps asked a lot of the appropriate questions but they could be a little bit more thorough on the questions they asked pertaining to the vehicle. I was able to ask the questions because I had already dealt with another company.

The way he handled the phone call and his professionalism over the phone, as well as communication and thorough explanation of everything (including the billing process, how the warranty service would be, the things I would need to do and the things I don’t need to do) was spot on. He took his time and although I didn’t have many questions because he had explained them prior, my questions were thoroughly answered as well. Anything I would have had, he had already talked about in good detail. I typically wouldn’t go with something like that, some type of service, but it was a no-brainer after speaking to him.

The purchasing process was perfect. There was really good customer service in explaining everything very well. It was a good process -- easy and understandable. But sometimes they skipped something intentionally, or maybe they were not telling you exactly unless you purchase the warranty. New things came out. Like, “This thing is covered. This thing is not covered.” When I was purchasing the warranty from Endurance they pretty much told me it’s not bumper to bumper warranty, but it covers whatever the factory warranty is. But whatever they told me it’s not in the policy.
My Honda Accord has two touch screens. One is you can touch, the other one is connected with a camera. Sometimes they work, sometime they don’t. I called the dealer. They said it might be a software problem. They told me, “You can bring it out and we can look at it.” So I wanted to call Endurance to know if something would happen to this screen if it's covered or not but they didn’t give me any satisfaction. There was no direct answer. The rep was telling me the part that’s actually not covered, and I didn’t even know all the parts’ names -- what it is, where it is. How can I know if this part is important or not? And they said I will receive a gift card for 250, my ID and everything pretty much in 10 to 14 days. But a month has passed that I haven't received anything. I’m definitely looking to cancel back the warranty because it’s not what I asked for.

I decided on Endurance based off their reviews and the 100% warranty that I felt comfortable with it. I run a business and I’m very picky, but everything was 100% professional. They do what they say they do. Another reason is they're 0% interest. I could’ve paid for it, but I thought, "Why not use their money over mine?" that was a big deal to me because it was going to cost me almost two grand more to have that rolled into the loan. It worked out good for me.
I tried to negotiate with Endurance as well, but they held to their value. The warranty the dealership tried to get me to pay for was $400 less, but they didn't match the price. The customer service was great though. I also researched the company that the dealership was running through. It was a small company out of saint pete and they didn't have the credibility.

I was dissatisfied a lot and I’ll never go with Endurance again. I called to talk and see if they could do a claim but they said it was a little too early. Then I talked to a lady, who was one of the managers, and she told me that if I waited a couple of days, I could see if I could file a claim. I wasn’t past my 30 days but it was my 28th day. She said she could still get me a refund if I went past the 30 days.
Then another warranty company I had took care of the claim for me. I had put a couple of warranties on while I had Endurance just to see which one was the best and which one would take care of me. The other company did and I left Endurance a voicemail. I told the manager about it but she kept trying to bribe me stay with Endurance. Then she told me they couldn't give me a full refund then because it was past the 30 days. I told her that she had told me otherwise on the phone before but it was not a recorded line and she said she never said that. She was also putting down a bunch of car warranties. As a professional, someone that’s in that kind of business doesn’t put down another company. But she was saying that the other company was not all that they say they are. She said they don't pay for anything and that's why they're in lawsuits. I told her that that may be but they were taking car of my car a little bit more quickly.
Then I had to call again and speak to a different manager because the other lady hung up on me. The first manager was like, “I’ll process the refund whenever I feel like it.” Another girl I spoke to said there was no request or anything like that. It was just one of the problems with the manager. Amy was the last one who helped me out. She took care of everything and got my refund.
When I enrolled with them, it was quick and easy. In fact, it was too good to be true. The dude was saying they would covered everything. He also told me to go over 1,000 miles and I could come up with a couple of days short. I thought that was cool. That was how my other warranty for the car was. I went over 1,500 miles and although I was two days short, they said it was okay and that they would let it slide. That was when I first got the car. The dude didn’t say anything about I had to wait a full 30 days. In fact, he didn’t really have too much knowledge about what they were covering on the car. I asked him what would be covered on the car and he was like, “Man, you’re gonna be a league pro. You’re gonna have a lot of good stuff.” I asked him what all the good stuff was and he didn’t know.
He was like, “You have to buy it first and then I can tell you.” I asked what if I bought it and there was nothing and he said he couldn't send me a contract unless I bought it. He was making it real hard for me to go with them.I asked what would happen if he did and he said I was gonna be covered. Then when we got down to it, when the warranty was supposed to cover something, they didn’t. The reps were nice and very respectful when we were signing up but not so much on the leaving side.
I've had Endurance before with my Mustang and then my sister got it for the Avenger but the thing is we never used it. That’s why I took it off my Mustang. It’s under factory warranty still and when I asked for extended warranty, they gave me one at the dealership but I bought the Endurance on top of that. With the Mustang, I didn’t have any problems canceling. I just stopped paying it. Then for the Avenger, we called and canceled, and they took everything fine. I didn’t have to get anything notarized or anything like that.

I received a push notification on my phone from ConsumerAffairs through an app that I use. I had been looking at various policies and didn’t know what to do, and then I decided to go to the said site and filled out the information. Its feedback was Endurance being the best option for me. I was very happy with the information, the options and terms of pricing that Endurance gave me. The price was definitely reasonable. It was a better deal than I thought that was going to be at.
The only complaint I have is that I didn’t receive some information via email. They do their billing through Mepco.com, and I received something in the mail from Mepco with a code that I was supposed to be able to use as my first time to log in to Mepco site so that I can manage my payments. And that code did not work. I’ve been busy with other things and haven’t had a chance to call Endurance to just see what’s up with that. But I wondered whether that was a Mepco issue and not an Endurance issue.
But I again was happy with the level of attention that I received when I reached out to them. I was communicating not just by phone, but also via email with the customer representative who helped me get everything set up. And then another fellow called me to confirm everything and go through the information. He did a good job, too.

Purchasing the warranty was okay but I'd rather have a print-out sheet instead of being in my phone that I can't print out. I can't get to the library and I can't copy 33 pages. That's expensive.

I reached out directly to Endurance. So I was a little more open to the sales pitch and platform than somebody else who maybe was cold called or wasn’t looking to purchase. The service representative appeared knowledgeable and forthcoming. He was able to address my questions. The sales process was fine. He told me that Endurance is the actual administrator of their warranties. CARCHEX kinda sends their policy to one of their four or five administrators, but Endurance actually handles everything in-house. So it’s a very quick and efficient process in terms of claims, as well as ensuring that you know exactly who you’re talking to and what company each person is represented. From that perspective, it made sense to me to have everything connected.
Endurance also does add the concierge and kind of those added perks that if you’re gonna spend significant money on an extended warranty. It’s nice to kinda have those niceties thrown in. But they should give additional instructions around best practices on how to set up the dashboard and how to use the concierge service. Also the best practices for submitting claims, and do I need to submit service records or anything like that prior to submitting a claim. So any type of FAQs that customers ask would be nice that could help me. I like a step-by-step on how to access or do certain things so that when the time comes, I’m not scrambling and having to call them and go through all the different automated prompts to get to a representative.

I was already in the process of talking to another insurance and they gave me a good deal. I was trying to negotiate by the price and then, when the person from Endurance called and informed me that I would have a bumper-to-bumper coverage for five years, I said okay. Although it’s more expensive, that was wonderful pricing. It was like almost matching the same price. When I took the car to the mechanic for the LED bulb, they said the warranty with Endurance does not cover the LED. I know that if I have to change my tires or the windshield wipers or the brakes, those are on me. Endurance told me that. If I call tomorrow and say that somebody broke my glass, they'll say it’s not covered. I wonder what they cover that means bumper-to-bumper.

Endurance Auto Warranty told me what I’ll be covered for and what my options. It’s pretty good. My car is almost at that 200,000 miles and I had her for almost six years now. There might be little repairs here and there and I might not have the money to go ahead and pay for the damages. My sister recently got a vehicle and her transmission went out. Come to find out, her warranty expired within that week when the transmission went out. We didn’t know until the following week, after we got the whole diagnostic. (That was a lie because later that evening we went into their website and it said prices were good through April 15.) When we called two days later to cancel the policy they kept asking who we were going to use and insisted they could match any other company. My husband told the rep 3 times “Sir we just want to cancel the policy!!!” We continued to badger us and finally put us on hold when we asked for his manager. My wife had an accident with our car. We had a Prius and we got 50 miles per gallon. She was at a four-way stop sign, and two cars took off at the same time and one of them was my wife in our Prius, and just hit her car, or a van and it totaled our car. We decided that we were not going to buy another Japanese car. It got totaled when we just barely hit the car. So, we bought a Buick, an American car, and I immediately got an extended warranty from Endurance on it. An extended auto warranty is very important to have. They all seem to cost about $3,700 for their warranty and they make it easier to pay for it. You can pay for it every month and it just comes out of our checking account.
The Endurance representative was really nice. When I bought the extended warranty, instead of giving me a booklet or something, they told me to just simply go onto the computer and get all the information about the warranty off of there. Well, who wants a bunch of computer pages that are not put together and not enjoyable to read? They did send me a really nice booklet. They should give that to the people that buy the extended warranty right upfront. Other than that, everything went really good.

I did some internet research on Endurance and found out that based on feedback from a lot of people, they were the best. I gave them a call to inquire and spoke to a young lady. She went through what they would cover, what they wouldn't cover, and the different aspects of the program. I'm in the financial services industry, and I found the young lady to be very knowledgeable about all the different options that were offered by the program. She went in full detail. I was really impressed by her going step by step, even to the point of saying to please stop her if she's going too fast if I misunderstood something several times. She was a professional in doing that.
However, I have not received the card yet. I've been waiting for about eight weeks now. I received a couple of notification from where we do the deduction out of the account. And based on the two payments that have been deducted from me, I would expect to have the card in my possession so that if something happens, I don't have to call to get the card for a repair to be done. Other than that, I had a good experience with the service or the salesperson who called me.

For the most part, I really feel like they did the best that they can do in ensuring that I had the coverage needed for that particular car. Although I didn’t feel like the sales guys had to bash other companies to try sell the name up a little bit more, they were pretty transparent. I even went away from the car because at the time, I was trying to figure out the best extended warranty company for me. I told them I was still weighing my options and asked if I could call back. Then when I went back, I actually got a better quote than what I got the first time. So it worked out.
I did call Gold Standard as well but I hated speaking with them. The lady won’t let me off the phone and following my call with Gold Standard, I received all these crazy follow-up calls, like “Oh, we heard that you wanna do this extended warranty.” So I didn’t like that and although the prices that they were giving me were okay, after reading a little bit more into the services that they offer, I found that they kinda fluffed up what they covered on certain categories. With Endurance, the call was pretty much like, “Hey, if this is for you, this is for you. If it’s not, it’s not.” That’s what I personally look for when shopping for things that I know I want but I don’t know if the particular company is the best. So I liked that.

I had a breakdown and the part is covered under the warranty, but lo and behold the reason for the breakdown disqualifies the coverage. Upon review of the contract, EVERYTHING disqualifies coverage! What good is an extended warranty when the company can simply cop-out on the "reasons" for the coverage..."For any damage and/or Breakdown resulting from collision, road hazard, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, lightning, earthquake, freezing, rust or corrosion, windstorm, air leaks, hail, water or flood, acts of God, salt, environmental damage, chemicals, contamination of fluids, fuels, coolants or lubricants." What good does this do! A+ rating on BBB my **! Lucky for me they offered me financing to get the repairs done. IF I WANTED TO FINANCE REPAIRS I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! Run. Run away as fast and as far as you can from this company!

I bought a Mercedes and I knew the parts were gonna be expensive. I asked the people who they rated number one and I went with Endurance. The people were very nice and I had good service. But I didn’t fully understand the policy. I thought they said it was 1,000 miles or 30 days that you had to wait but it was both. I filed a claim and that’s when I found out. I had 1,500 miles on my car and I was 3 days away from the 30 days. I bought the car used and it’s the first time I ever had a Mercedes. I didn’t know that the airbags were leaking. At the Mercedes dealer’s, it was $4,800 per piece and there are two of them. Another place had them for $1,800 though. If I’d have known it was 30 days, I would've waited for 3 more days. But that was the only thing. A lot of people actually tried to help me. I had a guy call back and he told me a place that I could get it done cheaper. Everybody has been extremely nice so far. It's been pretty good.

Endurance popped up when I typed in "extended warranty". They had a better deal as I already talked to a couple of people before them and their prices were a little bit higher. I had a really good consultant and I didn't have any worries. The questions I had at the time were answered. The process was really easy and they explained everything to me pretty well. There are one or two questions I thought I still need to ask them though. I also need to access my online account because they were telling me that I have some reward. Other than that, it worked pretty smoothly.

I just Googled car coverage and saw that Endurance is second in the country. They have reasonable prices, too. The rep was a little pushy as far as selling like how salespeople try to stop or distract you when you're in the mall. They're on you. Then if you talk to them, that's when you're trapped 'cause then they wanna continue talking to you. It's all about that sales perspective which I get it, but it can be a turnoff if somebody says they can't do something right now or the price point isn't right for them, and they're still pushing it. He was well-mannered, though. He explained the coverage's benefits and things like that, and he also had to work a bit for us to get something affordable.

So, I called them up, got their numbers and it sounded good, so I signed up with them. And then I got an email in a flash from Endurance, so I went and looked into what they had. I talked to the guy and did some comparison, and they had it in spades over them so I immediately bought from them and cancelled my other contract. The rep was very knowledgeable and very good. Also, the website is cut and dried. I had these before and actually had to use them a couple of times before. I’m familiar with how it works.

I got the hard copy of my policy and stored it in my glove box. I took a trip to Georgia which was a 600-mile round trip. I then took a trip over to see my mother on the other side of the state. I had gotten an extended warranty when I bought my vehicle but I wasn’t exactly satisfied with what they offered. I did my research and saw Endurance, that they’re credible and that they had good ratings. So I decided to go with them. The salesman was very helpful and informative. He told me everything upfront – what the policy is gonna cover, what it’s not and what I’m responsible for, which is the $100 deductible. He laid it all out on the table and that’s the way I like doing business. It was a very good experience. I did the initial payment on the phone too. It was taken care of right away so it was easy. Everything was done.
When I signed up, the gentleman also said that in a couple of days I would be receiving an email with rewards on it, like I could go and get an oil change at Jiffy Lube and I’ll have a coupon. But I hadn’t received it so I told a young lady, Monica, about it. She looked into it and told me they would send that out and that I should receive it in three business days. So again, the customer service was on point. They took care of the situation that I called for.

Endurance is same with the other companies in terms of “You can't look at the policy without purchasing the policy first.” They were insisting I have to pay some money to look at the policy with 30-day premium. I went back and review several other warranty companies. But at the same time, I'm spending around $300 in order to look at standard copy and not a detailed copy. That irritated me because I'm trying to shop. If I go to a car store and buy a car, they don't make me pay for the car to test drive the car.
We had to pay the initial down payment. They offered me $100 pay, and then review it for 15 days. And if I like it for 15 days they take out the difference between the original amount. It wound up being a $250 initial payment. They broke that up over a two-week period. Two weeks to look at the stuff and then pay another 150 to extend the coverage for the rest of the 30 days. If I wanted to cancel it after that, then they would still give my money back. Overall, it's fine.

I have a five-year-old BMW convertible, and it is out of warranty. I wanted to ensure that at least the engine component was covered because it can be quite expensive if they were to even fail from any source. CarShield would only give me the high-end plans. They would not go into detail about the lower-end plans and the gentleman kept pushing for me to buy a high-end plan. It was very rude. The lady from Endurance, on the other hand, did a whole lot of listening to me to understand my needs. And she walked me through all the plans and allowed me to make the decision. Once they learned that I was a veteran, they put some other incentives in there that led me to commit.
I went with the higher end plan because they provided me everything that I needed, even though I have double coverage. I do have one beef ball with them, however. Now that I’m part of the plan, they're going to do an automatic charge every month to my card. They made the choice for me, and it prompted me to cancel my plan. That’s the one error that they need to fix to allow the customer to make that choice, not them. Other than that they have been excellent at least on the front end.

The $250 voucher thing, whenever things open up, I’m looking forward to using that as well to save money. I like how it included local deals, like with Papa John’s. I really like everything from when I Googled, how easy it was to find you guys, to the benefits of your coverage. For a high mileage coverage, it does a really good job. I’m very glad I have the warranty because one thing I noticed, when I took it to the shop and they were like, “It’s your compressor,” I don’t think my old warranty covered the compressor or any AC components. It’s really nice to know that this one’s like an all-around kinda thing for your vehicle.

I’ve had my vehicle for five or six years. It's a 2015 but I got it in 2014. I didn’t want an expensive repair to come down. I have a 100,000-mile warranty, but that’s only powertrain. Initially was gonna go with the agency that advertises on Karen Hunter’s show on Urban View. But I ended up talking to Endurance. I was asking them some of the differences like, “Why wouldn’t I go with this group instead of with that group?” And then, I liked their price.
They were professional and helpful. The rep told me everything so I knew that it would be a delay in becoming effective. I wanna protect my engine. Also, I knew that they wanted to make sure I wasn’t calling with an already broken-down vehicle, and that I had to get an oil change. My engine was replaced in my Kia, right before my 60,000-mile warranty went out. And since then, they told me I had to get my oil changed at the dealer. I was also told, “Don’t go to Jiffy Lube anymore,” so, I didn't. Endurance is a good bet. You don't want a $1,000 bill if something goes wrong. Cars do break down. If your warranty goes out, or if you have an extended warranty with your car and it expires, be prepared and have a backup warranty.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a 2012 Mini Countryman that had a transfer case issue. I've had the warranty for 6 months, contacted them and they sent an adjuster out who agreed that the transfer case needed to be replaced. After being in the shop for over a month waiting for the 3rd party adjuster who Endurance warranty did hire, he stated that the transfer case should be replaced under the warranty. Now I've received a call from endurance warranty who is deciding to not honor their warranty. I would avoid them at all costs, they will find any loophole to get out of honoring their warranty and doing what is right.

I'm not happy with Endurance. They wouldn’t put in a claim for my oil. My car is spitting oil and I tried to get it repaired but they said they're not covering that because of some standalone provision. My policy covers the transmission, the engine, the powertrain and stuff like that. That’s what the salesman indicated to me. At first, I was a little bit deterred but he more or less explained to me that with most extended warranty coverages on cars, that is the garden-variety procedure, there’s a caveat to this. If I call again and something goes wrong with my car and they don't do it, they're out. That’s not even up for negotiation or discussion.
Initially, Endurance gave me the impression that they were gonna cover the claim. But at the last moment, right when they called to get the claim, they said they were not gonna cover it. So that was really unfortunate. Plus it’s really uncomfortable for me, having to go through this to pay a guy and then come to find out they're not doing it. So I just wasted a lot of time. They could have told me that from the beginning and I could have made some other arrangements to have my car repaired but they didn’t do that. So that would my suggestion. They shouldn’t wait two or three weeks down the road when the customer is getting ready to get his car repaired in the shop to indicate that they’re not gonna cover it. That is crazy.
Endurance did offer to forestall one payment to assist me with the repairs if I stayed with them. But I’ve got some time to think about their offer. I also liked the guy yesterday because he explained everything in detail. He was explaining I should have done this from the beginning. So that would be my primary concern with regards to that. But I’ll figure it out. I’ll see if I’ll stay with them or find myself another carrier. I’ll give Endurance more opportunities. I don't wanna have to read that contract. It’s several pages long but I will do that.

For the most part, the experience with Endurance was fine. The phone call with the guy wasn't lengthy. He went over the main things that it covered. They didn't really do that much explaining. They also give this little speech about having 30 days to cancel. So far, everything is fine. As far as the coverage, I was gonna go with a different company until I realized that they were open-ended. I didn't want something that ran forever until I canceled it. But when I made the purchase, everything was cool. The salesperson was very friendly and cooperative. The first payment was actually due on the 23rd but I asked him to push it to the 1st because I like paying everything on the first and there were no problems whatsoever. Everything went well.

I got my first BMW and I heard everybody saying to get a warranty. I wanted to make sure that I protect myself. I was looking at three companies and among them, Endurance looked like it was reputable. The price was good too. They explained everything well. I called the customer service at one point when I needed a jump. I didn’t have a card, and it was after-hours, so they weren't able to help me. But having this warranty is definitely valuable. I feel like even with one repair, it will pay itself off with this vehicle. Overall, I was very satisfied.

My sister and her family have Endurance and I decided to go with them as well. But I don't like that they offer you a price, but when you're undecided, they say, "This is the only day that we'll give you this price." According to them, they gave me a discount because I'm military. At the moment, we're out of budget due to some things going on at home. I said that I couldn't afford them at the moment. The rep put somebody else on the phone and then they kinda stretched the payments out so that it would be a little more affordable over the longer run.

I checked with ConsumerAffairs because I wanted to check on Endurance's rating. I figured that the information would probably be fairly reliable. I’ve never done it before but I couldn't imagine if there would be a bad company listed on the ConsumerAffairs website. The whole purpose would be to make sure that they're on the up and up. So I took that and ran with it, and we’ve been pleasantly surprised. Endurance has been really wonderful. With all of this that’s been going on, my actual warranty won’t go into effect until the end of this month due to financial strains but Endurance has been more than flexible with helping us in taking care of everything with our payment arrangement. So I really can’t complain as far as their customer service is concerned. They’ve been really great.

They had no contract to sign, which I thought was unusual. Usually, if you’re going to buy something like that, you get a contract and you have to sign for it.
I had to keep asking them to send me the contract so I could see what I’m getting before I sign up, which they didn’t do. They finally sent it to me but they already signed me up. They already deducted the rest of the payment from my credit card which I did not want. They did not ask me whether I wanted to pay them directly or through a credit card. They just said that I would get a $250 gift card if I sign up. So that kinda persuaded me, and then the rep told me I had to wait until I made my first payment, which wasn’t true either.
I was looking for the gift card in my email because I was supposed to get it after the first payment, and then I ended up calling Endurance and they told me that they sent it to me last month. I finally figured it all out and logged on to the web page and there was nothing on there that I wanted to buy. So it was a little misleading. They have to be more clear about the promotions. I thought I had a five-year warranty on mine. When I went to get my last oil change done, I asked what really covered on my warranty and when it would be up. The people said that it was already expired. My truck's not even three years old yet, but because I had hit the 36,000 miles, it was up. I'd better be on the safe side since my warranty is up. If I'm driving it then it ain't got a warranty, and it would break down on me, being a single mom, I don't have a lot of money now.
Endurance explained everything and told me how it would work and when my first payment would kick in. The only thing was that I was gonna get $250 in food vouchers for signing up, but I never did. The lady that I went through to purchase Endurance was great. I have no qualms about her. However, the company that Endurance uses that makes their decisions on the coverage and what they're going to approve and not approve and stuff is absolutely horrific. The very first time I had a claim, they found some grey area to deny it. I just had the truck serviced and everything checked and it was fine. They didn't want anything to do with it saying it was a preexisting condition and me being able to show that it wasn’t. I have all the service records. It was in the same dealership. I also have a clean bill of health on the truck.
The people kept telling me why would I even ever take it to the dealership, that they're so much more expensive, which is not their decision, it’s mine. My truck is still under factory warranty so I’m going to go to the dealership. I’ve lodged a complaint against the second gentleman that I talked to who was absolutely demeaning and argumentative. I’ve gone to his manager. He stated it was being recorded. I told him that it was wonderful because I wanted to get a transcript of it. Basically, they told me to go pound sand, I was absolutely floored.
It stinks as I don’t wanna black-cloud the entire company because of a handful of associates who are not polite and courteous. But unfortunately, that had been my experience. I ended up having to spend about $2,100 on that repair and this service is almost five grand. I’m going to be canceling the policy. I’ve got it set on my calendar to cancel before my next payment. The type of money I had to put out for the repair and the type of money that I’m paying for that service is not worth it to me.

It's very important to have a car warranty. Endurance had very good prices and the warranty coverage that they had compared to others covered a more expensive amount for not even a higher charge than most places. Also, there are benefits that are given when you sign up with Endurance. They definitely work with me. They let me pay the deposit amount and they helped me with a little extension because I wasn't able to pay the full amount. Within the first month, they made sure I paid that. It's already active.
It's also very easy to navigate my online account with them. I don't have to go to the frequently asked questions. I had any, I would start clicking on certain links in there and they just answered my questions with the information. They answered my question the moment I picked something to see what it offered or what information it had for me. I didn't have to call to ask any questions.
But I recently lost my vehicle. I was gonna refund but I was told that with my car warranty at the dealership that I had, I had to check and see their deal to make sure I'm not getting overpriced compared to Endurance's deal. Right now, their deal is good but I still have to go to the dealer's to try to remove the other one to keep this one.

You will never be able to speak to a supervisor, because they're too afraid to tell you you're about to be played. If you decide to deal with these people despite my warning, make sure to RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION!! They are crafty and always looking for any excuse not to pay on a claim. The truck now has 132k miles on it and I'm getting chatter from the torque converter, took it to the shop and had them look at it and they say it's the transfer case (it isn't). An inspector comes out, looks at my truck and denies my claim because I have "oversized tires".
They are the exact same tires that came on the truck when I bought it, so I asked could I change policies to include the tires, they said yes but since they think the transfer case is the problem (again the torque converter is bad not the transfer case) it wouldn't be covered because it is an "existing issue". I had filed a claim before because my ac condenser went out and after this most recent issue I was told they shouldn't have covered it because of my tires... what do tires have to do with the ac system? If you are thinking about using Endurance, save yourself a lot of stress and don't do it...

He answered all my questions and made me feel a little bit more secure with getting it because I didn't really know the difference. I googled the best company to go through and they opped up. It covered a lot more when I saw what it was gonna cover. I’d recommend them.
