A friend of mine explained to me that in case something should happen to my car, a vehicle service contract would help. He had experience with Endurance so I went with them too. The rep whom I worked with was very knowledgeable and professional. He walked us through what the plan was all about and he was very informative. I got my plan booklet from them and making payments was not difficult. I highly recommend Endurance.

I saw Endurance on ConsumerAffairs and I checked them out. The rep seemed very knowledgeable. I have an older car and I'm a little seasoned in age, so we didn't quite understand everything. She answered all of my questions and left no doubt in my mind. She explained the procedure, how long I had to wait before the policy kicked in as well as what it covered and what it didn't cover. I was happy with all her answers and everything went swimmingly well. I don't purchase things on whims, but she made me feel so comfortable that I purchased the insurance. They were the second one that I looked into and the first one that I purchased from. We need it 110%. A friend had an older car, and he has an $8,000 bill. He has a high-end car, but whatever kind of end it is, $8,000 sounds like a lot of money to me.
First and foremost we want to say welcome to the Endurance family.
Your review was short, sweet, and to the point.

It went great with the sales rep. He actually sold me on the warranty because I purchased it. He wouldn't let me off the phone until he made sure I bought that warranty. He kept going down on the downpayment price. I was telling him about how I went to CarShield and they had their price of $130 but after I did the reviews, all the reviews on CarShield were just crap. They got 1 stars from everybody and everybody was saying the same exact thing. That's when he said he would match CarShield for the 130. And the payment per month is only $70 so I was very satisfied with the salesman. He went above and beyond. The first payment was very easy to make too. My problem initially was 250 down. But I didn't have a problem with paying 130.
It's very important to have an extended warranty. I've had vehicles before in the past where I've had issues with them and I got stuck with repairs. This has always been my thing about a used vehicle. When you purchase used, you're purchasing someone else's problem. So you always wanna be a step ahead of that and I only looked at the top three companies – Endurance, CarShield and another one. Endurance was number one and I wanted the number one. I also listen to a lot of Pandora in YouTube and a lot of the commercials that come on sometimes are Endurance Warranty. So I felt like Endurance has been talking to me for quite some time and I just wasn't listening.
We are happy that you are having such a great experience with Endurance!
Thank you for your review.

I purchased a used vehicle about five months ago and it came with a 12-month, 15,000-mile warranty. I was approaching the 15,000-mile mark pretty quickly, which was why I purchased an extended warranty to have that added protection. I was comparing a couple of companies and the biggest thing that made me go with Endurance was if there was a problem and the car was in the shop, you don't have to go to a third party, as far as them sending someone out an adjuster to check the repairs. They made it seem like their process was much simpler. The dealership or repair shop would just call them and they would authorize the repairs.
I had an issue with the customer service when I purchasing the warranty. I was told a couple of things that weren't true. They sold me on them giving $500 cash and it took them a while to send it to me. They also gave it to me in email form and it really wasn't cash for spending. If I wanna buy something on Amazon for $100, I pay $90 for the certificate so I save $10. I called customer service about four times and every time I called, somebody gave me different information.

We know a lot of mechanic work but we have a hybrid and we don't have a clue with that car. So we figured we’d better try and get it covered in case something would go wrong. It was a pleasurable experience purchasing the coverage from Endurance and we didn’t see any problem with the payment plan.

The enrollment and purchasing process with Endurance Auto Warranty was fine. They let me split it up, and it went well. It was a little high and my car was older, and I was barely on the line to even get some insurance. It was close to 200 miles. So, they made it work for me. Overall, they were good. It was better than I thought.

I looked around, saw half a dozen companies and I happened to see Endurance Auto's literature. Having a 13-year-old vehicle, it seemed to make some good sense. The main reason I got the warranty is the offering of being able to repair things that go wrong with my car, potentially without a lot of out-of-pocket costs. I have the one that I pay for as long as I own the vehicle and I do monthly thing on a card. The terms of the agreement, which they have in writing, were what I desired. I wanted the major components covered, and I wanted to be able to go to a place of my choosing, even if it had to be a dealer. The salespeople also promoted it as being a bit more inclusive and a little less restrictive than other warranty offerings out there.
It was professional. I bought other things online before, like most people, and the person endeavored to do all they could to get me to buy it. It was a bit of pressure there, but I pushed back and asked what they could do for me price-wise and terms-wise. It’s a give-and-take. I lived in Latin America for many years and I learned the art of negotiating. Most Americans don't know how to negotiate. They see a price, they pay it. To me, the asking price is the starting point of the negotiation. If it's a good deal for me, then it's a good deal.
Also, these companies come and go. Corporations are big. They have a lot of money, they have lawyers, and they have HR. I don't ever cry for corporations. It’s what you can do to the individual who you are offering the product to that truly defines how flexible, as well as good, a company is. We were able to negotiate the price, which was a big plus. They gave me a veteran discount as well. I’m presuming that was something in the quiver of offers they're allowed.

I was in need of a service package and when I googled warranties, Endurance popped up. Their ratings were pretty good. The customer service was the determining factor that made me go with them. I’m a veteran and had a traumatic brain injury. Sometimes, it’s hard for people to understand what I’m trying to say, but the rep was extremely patient and understanding. I figured anyone with customer service like that has to be good. They explained what you had to do before you could file a claim and what to do when it was time to file a claim. They were very thorough in their explanation and they made it easy to understand, which is saying a lot.

Updated on 06/24/2020: I just received my first call back. This was from Lee stating he was the manager, in fact he stated he was the ONLY one I would be able to speak to at Endurance. Of course claiming, "We cannot approve your claim due to lift" on my truck. Apparently the conversations and emails they have are lacking in its entirety. I had at least 5 phone calls prior to actually entering into a contract, the lift was discussed, according to Endurance it did not exceed its limitations beyond their scope so I was considered not modified by their scope to which I responded NO to that question during the verification process. I explained also in January the same truck with the same lift was at the dealership and that was discussed.
He then claimed, "It's not on your paperwork," I find that very difficult to believe as it is on the paperwork from the dealership, in a voicemail I have from dealership, Jordan G (at Endurance, manager). Outrageous. I told him I hope that phone call was recorded and I am telling him I expect him to go back through and come up with a figure on every dime I spent with Endurance and I expect a full refund and I will pursue the rest in a different way with someone else. That is when he stated "I am the only one you will be able to speak to".
I told him a few times to stop talking as all I needed him to do was come up with a figure and it should match mine and provide me a refund of every dime I spent with Endurance and I want the refund by the end of day today. He kept on then raised his voice to which I responded to stop. He wasn't going to raise his voice. While in the car with my husband his voice escalated loudly. We had to turn down the volume in the car :-(.
I will be going through my bank records as I said I would, I also told him I wanted to be emailed that he has my correct email address that I no longer wanted to speak with him on the phone as it was pointless. I will say this. I will keep pursuing this, companies like this I realize this is how they make their money however to take advantage of people then develop a case of amnesia and lose all the information relating to an issue and keep only what values them is outrageous! BE warned. This company will NOT provide what it says it does. I will give them they have a great sales tactic however they do NOT back it up with good HONEST customer service.
Original Review: I have to say here we are again. After the above issue I was contacted by Jordan ** (manager I was told) who provided a local mechanic shop to me. The first time my truck was in it went to the Ford Dealership. I was then told their prices were too high. We had a few things fixed on truck in the gap to where we are now. Now, 2 weeks ago I took truck to the requested mechanic shop and here is where it all falls apart. First they had to try and diagnose as the truck died while driving and was running really rough, which is why we brought it in. Once they did some tests they needed authorization to remove the valves (I believe that is the name) to test engine further. Trying to call in was a nightmare, no one returned calls to the mechanic, I tried calling left Jordan a message as well which I still have not received a response.
FINALLY 2 weeks later he has what is needed to further test. From there mechanic called AGAIN and was told they will send an aduster out in a few days. A FEW DAYS, cannot even give the decency to schedule so this can be properly discussed. Yesterday I received a call from Endurance, couldnt make out the guys name as he spoke like he was sleeping. He told me to call the mechanic shop to have them call into Endurance to speak about the full report they received from adjuster. I asked what was going on as I dont know and have not heard from either the mechanic or Endurance. He would not tell me just told me to call the mechanic to have the mechanic call them. RIDICULOUS however I said ok. I thought the shop had been closed for the day as it was 5:32pm (CST). I called and the mechanic was open (they close at 6). I was then told Endurance told him there is NO coverage at all on my truck due to a lift. This is complete insanity!
When I spoke to your customer service and Jordan as well the lift on the truck was discussed. I was told they do not cover suspension due to the lift and I was perfectly fine with that. After a few exchanged emails the plan picked for this truck was only to cover the engine/transmission and I felt comfortable enough to have some sort of protection if I ever needed it. Here is where I now believe, after these recent events, this company and their coverage is complete BS. I am not the only one that has had issues such as this, just read all the reviews you will find them if you dig. To be told I have NO coverage on my vehicle at all, I have been paying for covereage they now say I do not have. THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS!
I will make this situation public, I want someone to resolve this issue you cannot take money to cover a vehicle which you are well aware of what the vehicle is.... I also know this about my truck as Endurance spoke to the dealership it was previously at and was told the same thing regarding the lift on the truck. The dealership specifically spoke of the lift so Endurance CANNOT now come back and say they did not know. No one calls back, no one resolves anything here how can you take money and then throw your hands up and create more loopholes to protect yourselves????

We bought a Kia two years ago and at the time, we were told it had the remainder of the 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty on the drivetrain and engine but at 50,000, the bumper-to-bumper would run out. Then I had a problem with the transmission. It ended being just a little bit low on fluid. But when I asked what my warranty would cover in all that, the rep said my warranty expired at 50,000 miles. I asked what about the engine, transmission and drivetrain and he said it all expired at 50,000 miles. That was really a shocker. So we went ahead and started looking at different companies and seeing what was what.
It was really smooth, quick and easy working with Endurance. They were the third company I called and they had the best rates that I found out of all the different policies that were offered. Everything I was looking for in the coverage was there too. I haven't tried to make a claim and I hope I don't have to make one ever but I would hope that it would be as smooth and easy as was advertised and described to me.

The Endurance rep was very knowledgeable. the coverage was very well explained. The people were so pushy, but that was with all the companies. It wasn’t just Endurance. My wife drives the vehicle. I'm in the military and I travel a lot. So I wanted to make sure that if something was to happen, she wouldn't have to worry. She could just take it to the shop and she would be covered. Endurance came back with the things that they could possibly do for me in reference from a standpoint of bumper-to-bumper for the vehicle. But I didn't get enough information from them and I was not informed of a lot of things until I actually called them back.
Endurance should explain to me everything that the product could do for me or what it couldn't do for me and their rep did not do that. I received the policy from Endurance Auto Warranty through email and I started to look a couple of weeks later. When I called back in to ask questions, I told them that I was not made aware of these stipulations in the beginning and the guy over the phone said that the rep should've told me that. He was sarcastic about it. So I felt like they got me and I was stuck with the program which I didn't appreciate it.

It was as painless as it can be, having to buy an extended warranty with Endurance. I was real pleased with the service that I received in choosing the coverage. And even more so, I was very impressed with the coverage available for the price. They were the best coverage for about the same amount of what I was about to purchase through CarShield. I'm not gonna say that all of CarShield’s employees are the same way. But the gentleman's attitude towards me and their customer service compared to Endurance, is what changed my mind.
I couldn't pass up the coverage and the kindness. It makes all the difference in the world. So I paid the extra $20 to go with Endurance, which also in the long run I'm very, very glad that I did because the service department of the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from would not have accepted CarShield. It's not under their list of extended warranty provider coverage people. I've been pleased and satisfied with Endurance so far.

Endurance covers more stuff than a lot of warranties and they’re pretty transparent about what they’re covering and what they’re not so I chose them. I wanted as close to a factory warranty as I could possibly get for a vehicle that was out of factory warranty and it was great with their rep. The monthly cost is high, but it’s less than a car note. It’s a BMW so, anything that goes wrong with it, you pay about a grand at least.

My vehicle is an expensive vehicle and it was getting up in mileage so I decided to get extended coverage and Endurance was the first on the list of the top 10. The person I talked to was very nice but they need to come down on their time that they want customers to wait before anything takes effect. And the mileage is way too high. I gotta go 1,000 and I gotta go for 45 days. Everybody else out there is a lot lower than that. With CarShield, it’s 500 miles and 20 days and they’re within dollars of each other for monthly payment. Also, Endurance didn’t take out the payment when they were supposed to. I wanted to make sure that my car was covered for the next five years because I plan on keeping this vehicle and insurance won't cover the drivetrain and stuff like that. I read a bunch of feedback about the Endurance Auto Warranty and most of them were positive. I noticed there are thousands of companies right now offering extended warranties but a lot of them are using celebrities to try to pitch their market. Endurance didn't have all that.
But when I talked to their rep, I almost felt blindsided. He was pushing it then later, I read an ad where it said they were offering a money-back for signing up with them. But I was never offered that and that was crappy. It reminded me of the cable industry as they do the same. I really felt that the guy that I was negotiating with just wanted to hurry up and get this deal on the books. It is very important to have an extended warranty for your vehicle and I initially looked at three other companies. It seems that Endurance covers more of the essentials than others. But I also signed the thing that I have to have 30 days and a 1,000 miles first before I use the coverage. I think the 1,000 miles shouldn’t be there because you could have been in a used car place and everybody usually does something to fix up the car when they first get it to make sure it’s straight before you really start to use it.

Endurance Auto Warranty was within the price range and purchasing their coverage was fine. My AC started blowing more hot air. We took it into Meineke and they told us what was wrong. That was a good five hours and then we wouldn't let them keep the car 'cause I didn't have a rental car. Then Endurance said that they were gonna the parts that they wanted Meineke to put in our car. So I had to wait a couple of days before it was delivered to Meineke. Once it was delivered to Meineke, it was all day.
I was supposed to get a free rental car when my car was in the shop but they couldn't give me the rental car until things were situated and processed. There needs to be a better system where as soon as you take your car at the shop, you can call insurance and set up the rental car. But they wouldn't do that without Meineke looking at the car first, saying what was wrong and doing the claim that way. I was without a car for the whole time that the car was being fixed.
Endurance should talk to the consumer and allow us to set up the rental car. I asked for Enterprise because we were leaving the car at the shop and they can pick us up but Enterprise didn't even listen. They said that it was Hertz. Then when I set up the rental car, we called Hertz and their response was they didn't have any cars available.

I got a used car, and sometimes they give problems. The market is down and work has been up and down and given the times we're living in, I didn't wanna not have the ability to pay for the car if something goes wrong. I looked at Endurance and saw that their history is not too bad. Their rep was very understanding. He walked me through everything and gave me some time to get it. From what I have seen and learned, he explained the coverage to me pretty good. The only thing that I don't have that he talked about was a card that I was supposed to get in the mail. I don't know when that one is coming. I also didn't get a welcome package. But I would definitely tell people to come join Endurance. I've told a couple of people about them.

I reached out to two other companies but Endurance had a better coverage and cheaper price for what I was getting. The payment plan is awesome. Endurance worked with me as much as they could over the phone and I was very happy with it. The rep told me everything I needed to know and was more detailed. However, going through the process, it was like getting jumped through too many places. I probably was put on hold for five times and waited for 30 minutes. It wasn’t a big deal but that could have probably been improved. Instead of going from one guy to another, just get me to the one guy I need instead of jumping though three others.

I’m very disturbed and unhappy with Endurance Auto Warranty. My air had suddenly gone out on me. So I took the vehicle in and the mechanic made contact with Endurance. They made us wait almost a week for a decision on whether or not they were going to fix my air. The car was sitting there and I was inconvenienced. I was eligible for a rental vehicle because of the hours associated with that repair. So, I actually went to pick up the vehicle and drove it a few more days until we got word from the warranty company. They basically blamed it on COVID for the delay and the fact that there were so many other people with broken air at that time.
My mechanic started working on the vehicle and he discovered that there was another issue with the HVAC system that needed to be addressed and he needed to get the door actuator. Endurance denied that, and I had to pay for that in excess of $300 out of pocket. It clearly stated in the warranty booklet that they provided that they would cover actuators. But the person on the phone tried to argue that it was a door actuator for windows.
In the interim, I had told my mechanic to do the oil change and rotate the tires and tried to put some money into the vehicle. I haven't had the vehicle for a full year yet so I’m trying to put some TLC into it. So I added extra things for my mechanic to do. I ended up putting out more money into the vehicle than the warranty. I spent almost $1,000 and Endurance spent about 800, but they didn't wanna cover the complete repair. I’m not very satisfied. The car is still in the shop. From the time I took the car in and all the hang-ups with getting it approved and then I’d go to this person, this and that person. It was just like I was at the DMV. It just didn't feel right.

I tried another company and at that time, the epidemic started and I did not have enough money. The guy did not even tell me what kind of services they were gonna offer me. They just said, "Can you afford this? Oh, you can't. Well, how about if I drop it down, can you afford this? Okay. You can afford $50 today, can't you?" I told him to forget it and hung up.
The gentleman from Endurance sat down, told me all the services and the amenities they provided, who I could call, and what they were gonna offer me. I got a text on my phone and I got emails sent to me. Everything was the way he said it was. There were no questions, no hard sales, and no being rude. He explained the cost of all that.
He asked questions because I'm a type 2 diabetic, I'm 65 years old and I'm on social security and Medicare. He looked at everything possible and got me the lowest possible monthly payment that was available. He told me, "If you could afford this, here's my number, let me know. We're here if you need us." Apparently, he wasn't a salesperson, but he was a person in charge of the benefits and the questions. He gave me the perspective on everything that they were providing. When I decided I wanted to do it, he put me with a salesperson who got me everything and I ended up paying exactly what he said I was gonna pay.

I've always bought used vehicles and an extended warranty from the dealership. But the dealership didn't offer what I thought was a fair price for one. I started searching around and I called a couple of places. I started searching online and through all the reviews, Endurance seemed to be the better of all of them. The rep during purchase was very helpful. He gave me three different options for payment. He explained all the ins and outs of the warranty, what it covers, what it wouldn't cover, and what my part of it was as far as I need to do the maintenance on my vehicle. I can't just assume that I'll never have to change oil again, and then the engine blows up, I'm gonna get a new motor. That's not how it works, so he was very informative.
If I have an issue with my vehicle, I'll take it to a certified mechanic. Normally, that's gonna be the dealership. I spoke about this with the rep. Most people don't prefer you bring the car to the dealer, but the dealer actually does. When you bring it to them, they know it's gonna get done correctly. At that point, it'll be $100. They'll go ahead and do a thorough inspection to see what actually the problem is and what parts actually need to be changed. I've used the extended warranty on another vehicle I had before and it was a very easy process.
If I didn't have an extended warranty and something were to happen, I don't have the money to replace a transmission. I'm a single provider of a family of five, and to be able to afford a brand-new car it's out of my price range for what I need as far as a truck and so forth. And in order for me to have something I can actually use, I definitely have to go with a vehicle somebody else has used. I don't know actually what's going on with it but having that extended warranty gives me peace of mind.

I have 2015 BMW X, I realized I needed an extended warranty after manufacturer's warranty had ran out, I researched the top extended warranty companies and came up with Endurance (although I did not like their short rental car benefit and the fact that it is an reimbursement, but overall they seemed like my best option). I purchased September 2019, the secure plus plan.
Fast forward to Sunday, 5/17/20, I was going to get something to eat and stopped at red light, heard noise when pressed brake, I pressed on gas to accelerate. I heard even louder noise. I immediately stopped and put hazard lights on, luckily I was in the lane closest to curve, so I got out and called for tow truck. It was a Sunday, so I had my car towed to in front of my house because wanted to contact Endurance to make sure they were ok with me taking my car to BMW dealer. I took off work, contacted Endurance requested tow truck and asked was ok to take to BMW dealer, they replied as long as dealers service department was certified to ASE certified that what was important, to which my dealer was certified.
So my car arrived at dealer 5/18/20. The next day dealer sent me a video diagnosing the problem, mechanic stated driveshaft broke and caused a crack in transfer case and crack in transmission and all 3 would need to be replaced. I had mechanic relay that information to Endurance, they said they will send out adjustor and would take 24-48 hours. I called Endurance 5/22/20 to check and see if adjustor had been out to look at video, waited on hold, for an hour +, then took option for someone to call me back, I did receive call back and there was no new info. I called again on 5/26/20 and was notified adjustor had turned in report, but they need to discuss report with mechanic. I called mechanic and ask can they please call Endurance because I want to get this process started.
The next day my mechanic called and said Endurance approved claim for driveshaft, but denied claim for transfer case and transmission. He stated he does not see why they would deny, and cost was probably the reason. I immediately called Endurance and they said adjustor denied claim for transfer case and transmission because of a worn universal joint. They said universal joint was worn and because it was so worn I was driving on a faulty part, stating continued operation, I kept stating that made no sense, there was no way they could determine nature of universal joint and also the universal joint is covered under the contract.
They just kept stating continued operation, as if I knew universal joint was going to break but kept driving on it, I had recently had car checked at BMW in September 2019 and there was no report of anything that was wrong with my car. So that assumption was wrong. I kept asking how did this make any sense, then I requested to speak to a supervisor, they said they were in a meeting and will call me back, that was 5/26/20.
I called back the next day 5/27/20 and was told again supervisor was busy and they would call me back, no call back, tried again on 5/28/20, same thing, I came across ConsumerAffairs' website was going to write a scathing review, but I saw where there was someone replying back to positive and negative feedback offering a number, so instead of writing review I said let me get number and call. I spoke to someone and they said my case was under review for managers to look at it and someone would call me back that day for sure. No call back that day. I called again Friday 5/29/20, the same said a manager/supervisor would call me back.
At about 5pm Friday, I did receive a call back from manager/supervisor. He basically cited the same thing about continued operation and pointed to clause under filing a claim, but I said that does not apply, because as soon as I heard noise. I stopped operation and put my hazards on. After about an hour of me saying how the denial did not make any sense, he offered to have his guy source use parts and maybe different place to my car, but I would still have to pay for the two parts because they still refused to cover claim. I said ok, hoping they could find cheaper and decide to cover, that was 5/27/2, it is 6/3/20 and I have not heard any response back.

I'll wait until the transmission of my Audi goes out to see.

Purchasing the warranty was relatively easy. Their customer service was fine. They were pretty decent. They were really detailed about what the warranty covers upfront. They were offering it for a certain price when I dealt with them. It was a deal they were running but I was driving at that time and I asked them if I could call them back. But they told me that if I hang up and call back, I wouldn’t get it at that price. They told me it was only for first phone call price. So I pulled over and I had to pay it so I could get it at the rate that I wanted to get it at. But that was the only thing that I would've changed about my experience. They should have allowed me to call them back at least the same day and be able to keep the same price.

The warranty is for a used car for my daughter who is a teenager. If anything was to break, we wanted her to be able to get assistance. I went online, answered a questionnaire, and it gave me the name of a couple of different insurances. I reached out to Endurance. They called me right away and I felt comfortable with the plan that they offered. Whatever monthly plan we got, I thought it fit us pretty well. So if something was to happen, I felt confident that they would be able to help and we would be able to hold up our end as well.
The specialist was really nice. I wasn't sure that I was going to get an extended warranty because I didn't feel there was a need. But I also knew if something was to happen, we may not be able to afford everything, being the circumstances with the Coronavirus and our jobs. So, I set up another callback appointment and he called back and walked me through everything and answered my questions. However, I have read more into Endurance, and a lot of people that put bad reviews say that they were denied once they issued a claim. The purchase experience was great and they were willing to work with me on the different options that they had available. I made the initial payment by credit card over the phone and that was easy. Everything from customer service to purchasing was smooth.
However, I'm thinking about canceling the warranty because I haven't heard from them. I tried to call a couple of times last week and was unable to get through. The call said they were closed. The follow-up and giving me the information on the package and especially the application is terrible. I was supposed to receive an email with a breakdown of the coverage. I also downloaded the app but that didn't describe the coverage. The app is pointless. They could give a breakdown on my plan for starters, to let me know what's covered, what I'm paying for, and what I'm getting. The app could also allow me to pay my bill so I could see when my due date is and take the payment right there.

When I did my research, Endurance came up as one of the top ones on the internet. The price was also decent, which was why I thought they were the ones to call. It was great calling them to get it set up. I expected that it was gonna be a sales sort of feeling, so I had no problem stepping into it. They were very friendly and nice on the set-up. I asked all the questions from the beginning. I asked, "What if I if this doesn't work and I cancel it, is it a long-term contract?" So, I knew, stepping in, that it was easy to cancel. But after I reviewed everything, I canceled shortly thereafter and that was very difficult.
I talked to somebody and they put me on the phone with a supervisor. They thought that it wasn't a good thing for me to do. Then, I talked to somebody else about why I was canceling. They weren't just gonna take no, which I understand. They're sales. But it was a little more aggressive than what I am accustomed to. They wanted to go through all of the details. They pulled up the contract and said, "Let's go talk paragraph by paragraph. Let me show you why you're making a mistake by canceling with us.” They also said that my car has so many miles and if I go too much further, I am going to be unprotected. They were talking to me like I didn't know what I was doing.
The cancellation process itself was not a simple phone call. It wasn't as simple as, "Yes, it's me. Yes, I'm verifying. Here's the VIN number." I had to get something printed and then I had to get something notarized. I took it to my notary at my bank. They looked at me and asked if I was kidding. They thought needing a notary stamp to say you want to cancel a warranty policy was ridiculous. Then I had to scan it and then send it back in. I wasn't very comfortable or happy with the cancellation process.
Buyer beware when it comes to understanding what's really covered. The vehicle that Endurance's warranty covers has to pretty much break for the warranty to be any value. If you hear ticking in the engine and take the car in for an oil check and determine that the engine is dying and needs a whole new valve job, it won't be covered because they look at that as preventative. If my engine was to seize, fail, and completely break, then it would be covered. There's an inherent danger in having to have somebody driving the car to completely fall apart and break for that warranty to kick in.

I first heard of Endurance because we were in the process of buying a vehicle. We were having the dealerships tell us a little about the warranty company that they use. One of the dealerships said that they use the number two and number three rated warranty companies. They also mentioned Endurance being one of the number one, and the reason they said they didn’t use them is because of their prices. We decided to go out on our own to find a warranty versus through the dealership because I was told that the dealerships also try to make a profit off of the warranties. So, I just Googled top-rated warranties and Endurance was one of the higher ones. I called a few companies and we compared and that’s how we decided to go with Endurance.
They did a good job. One of the other ones that I tried to get a figure from touched back with me and they told me to go on Better Business Bureau and check out Endurance’s rating, which actually was not a very good rating. I wouldn’t have shopped for Endurance had it not been for the dealership saying that that’s who they recommended, but I’ve told people to go ahead and look to see if they thought that that was a good thing for them. The place that I bought the car from doesn't have warranties. On their site, it gives a warranty company and that’s where I got the name from. I called to ask about this then I bought the policy before I even bought the car. They have good coverage and I already made my mind up that this was what I was going do, and I explained that when I called them.
In one of the sells, there was a $250 gift card whether you keep the policy or not. The salesman gave that same information to my wife, so I wasn’t mistaken. Come to find out there was no gift certificate. That was a big distinction that one would make and I wouldn’t like it but I can almost get it if someone was trying to get somebody to buy something. I’ve never been a salesman, but the guy gave me some information that he knew to be inaccurate. If he didn’t have the correct information in the first place, then he shouldn’t have taken the phone call. There’s enough people out there to buy the product too.
I can appreciate where the offer would seem more enticing, but the policy was already sold. He didn't even have to say that. I consider that as being dishonest for the purpose of a sale or for the purpose of anything. When I called back to take issue with it, there was another lady that did not know the information. If she didn't have the information about any of their products, then she shouldn’t be answering the phone either. I told them that if I misrepresented something at the hospital where I work, someone could die from it. I don't misrepresent things. That’s my reputation. I have a different job, but I have to be accountable for the things that I say.
When I called back again, somebody answered that knows what they were talking about. Still, I don't have a lot of appreciation for people that are in positions where they don't have to be accountable and they can just tell you whatever they want to tell you. When I tell people about my experience, I give them that information, but that’s not the information that I want them to have. It may be something else that they experience and I want them to focus on the fact that they may not get all of the right information, just for the sale.

The people I’ve talked to are really good people. They did real good customer service and everybody seems real good about everything. They’ve stood behind what they say, until now. My truck went into the shop the day before because it started acting a little weird on Sunday and the mechanic looked at it. They said something about the transmission was messed up or going out. So he advised me not to drive it. It needs to be fixed.
Endurance came out, looked at it and said it’s covered under the warranty. Then I received a phone call from the mechanic shop. They told me that the good news was that it was covered but the bad news was that Endurance said that the tires were not factory wheels on the car. Endurance is not wanting to cover anything although they pulled money out of my account and paid for it with no problem. The mechanic shop’s talking to them now. He said that we have a good argument because technically, those are real stock wheels. Endurance didn’t ask me in the beginning if the truck has oversized wheels on it, and they’re not really oversized. Those tires might not specifically be those ones in the beginning when the vehicle was brand new. But that’s the way I bought it. I guess the tires came off a newer model.
The only things Endurance had asked me were about the cost of the warranty and if the truck was in good condition, which it was. I do regular maintenance on the truck, which the shop can tell them. The only thing is that they asked me if it had a suspension lift on it, and I told them it doesn’t. But other than that, I’ve had great experience with Endurance. I decided to get the warranty because everybody kept calling on my phone and then I saw Endurance on TV and I thought it might work.

I purchase the extended warranty when I purchased my Rubicon back in November. I had to place a claim the first time to replace my driveshaft and after the normal process of confirming coverage and application, the drive shaft was covered and replaced. Here I thought, "this is a great purchase" but then I had an issue months later with my radiator and tie rod. The price point for the radiator authorized was well below what I could find online and what the mechanic shop was charging me so I was left to pay a difference as Endurance does not cover markup parts. I had my vehicle towed to another location for a second opinion which took the repair out another two days as the second company had to diagnose and the rental car was not covered the extra two days so I had to come out of pocket the extra two days on top of the difference I had to pay for the radiator portion they did not want to cover.
I called Endurance and spoke to a rep and Lead to try and get the extra two days covered for the rental car and I was told "No, the policy covers two days and that is it." I asked if an exception could have been made for this and I was told they would have to make an exception for everybody and I could ask them for future exceptions. This is a prime example of a warranty company that has exceptional marketing to lure the consumer in on the hook and limit its coverage on items it markets as having coverage for. I regret getting this warranty and wish I was offered another competitor when I purchased my vehicle.

Somebody told me about Endurance and I checked it out in the Internet. I got a little bit of info, called in, and made some questions about it and got the answers I was looking for. I got it, then I canceled it and then I got it again because I spoke to somebody else. I was asking some questions about it, but he didn’t have any answers for me. Why am I gonna get something when they can’t explain exactly how it’ll work? Then another guy called and when I was asking questions about the warranty, he was able to answer. I told him about the other guy and he said he was supposed to tell me about it. He was really helpful so I got Endurance again and I still have it.
With the second guy, signing up was really simple. The other guy was thinking about something else. When I ask him a question about how many miles this and that, he would just tell me he didn’t know, he had to talk to somebody else. But when I gave him my downpayment for the warranty, he was really helpful. He needs a little bit more training. Endurance needs to give reps a good orientation on how the company works.

My vehicle was up to 94,000 and I had run out of my former extended warranty. I said that if something happened to it, I didn't have a bunch of money to put out for it. I figured if I bought an extended, then they would take care of that. I read reviews and Endurance seemed to be getting the most positive reviews. It was the one that most people say was the best. I figured that going with them would be the thing to do. The rep was very nice and easy to talk to. He explained everything that I asked and I really enjoyed talking with him. I couldn't afford to pay the full amount and had gotten a payment plan. All in all, everything went better than I expected.

Never waste a Dollar with Endurance, just Dishonest and Liars. I was searching on the web for an extended warranty and I looked at about four companies. Endurance was the main one that popped up and it was the most recommended. I liked the length of the warranty compared to everybody else and the price as well. Most companies offered me five years for the same thing but Endurance offered me seven for the same price, so it was a no-brainer.
It was very detailed when we went over the contract. I asked a pretty good amount of questions and their reps told me about what's covered and what's not covered, and my expectations on what they expect me to do as far as no modifications in the vehicle. That was really good and informative. I knew exactly what I was paying for since I'm buying.
Once I told the rep what I wanted to pay and what I could afford, he gave me the payment plan they had and I was like, "Yeah, I want that one." That was easy and simple. This is my first time buying an extended car warranty and Endurance meets my expectations thus far. It's been a great experience. I've already recommended them to a couple of my cousins. Their warranties are getting ready to expire soon.

My experience went really well. It was my first time buying the coverage so I wanted to be sure I was buying the right thing. It sounded like they were offering more for the money and I wanted to be sure that I wasn’t just buying something that was good on paper. So that pretty much sealed the deal for me. They were very helpful. The rep was great. She had answers to my questions. Also, their website was easier to navigate than the ones I use all the time.

I wanted to get a service contract, but I didn't know who to get. There were so many of them out there that and you don't know what they were gonna cover and what they were not gonna cover. Somebody had told me about Endurance. I remember hearing about CarShield on TV and he said that Endurance was better. He also said that his dad liked them because they told him upfront what was gonna happen, what they were gonna do, what they would fix, and what they wouldn't fix.
When I was purchasing the warranty, the rep, Kathleen, was very nice one the phone and explained everything down to the end and answered the questions I had. She handled things very well. I felt very good when the rep explained the coverage to me. When you're alone like I am now, and people see a woman or a girl coming that doesn't know anything about an automobile, and right away, you feel that those people are gonna check me for everything now because I don't know anything. I can't answer them because I'm stupid. But Endurance didn't treat me like that. They told me what they were gonna do, and what was gonna happen and why. It was a very good and easy experience. I wasn't looking at the sheet of paper where I didn't know the questions they were asking me. Going into it, I wasn't that afraid because people have told me.
Setting up the payment was easy and it wasn't very confusing at all. They said, "We're gonna do this, this, this and this. What do you think?" There was a little bit of back and forth and we were all set. But I had to end up canceling because an emergency came up with my family, which took a lot of money out of my account, and I couldn't leave myself without anything at all. I asked the rep if we were going to start from the beginning when I canceled and called to get Endurance again at a later date. She said yes and not to worry about it. I was even told that my money was gonna be sent back to me. I haven't got it yet, but that was about a couple of weeks ago.
First and foremost we want to say welcome to the Endurance family.

I had an auto warranty on my car. I went from full-time to part-time on my job so once I go back to full-time, I decided to get the extended warranty back again. I was with a company called Protect My Car and they were charging me 140 a month. I checked around, went on the internet and I typed in “the best car warranty.” By far, Endurance was the best price that I could come up with.
I had a really nice guy for my rep. He walked me through all the steps and everything. He really wasn’t trying to sell me an extended warranty. I was trying to buy one. He showed me all the options. I have his number in my phone somewhere because I made sure I put that name down. I might’ve called him back two or three days later and purchased the warranty with them.
Making the payment was really easy. The down payment was either 245 or 225. I didn’t have the money at that particular time so the rep allowed me to do 100 then maybe 15 days later, he did the other 125 or 145. That was really nice. I start paying my payments at the end of every month. I love it. I had them send me a copy of what the warranty covered. It’s a little packet that they sent out. They emailed it to me and I printed it out. I have it in the car. Everything was fine. I got Endurance as protection just in case something happens. I’ve been very fortunate nothing has happened.

I have only ever purchased brand new vehicles and I noticed that as soon as you drive brand new vehicles an awful lot, they're worth a lot less. So, finding a slightly older vehicle that I actually liked seemed kind of scary because I have to worry if I was purchasing other people’s problems. I didn't know that in purchasing a used car, you can also purchase extended warranties just like you would if you had a new car. Finding that out was kind of a good reason that I chose to go that route. Knowing that there was stuff that I can purchase to help alleviate some of the repairs, makes purchasing a used car a little bit more valuable than just automatically getting a new one.
My mechanics at Volkswagen told me to look for something that covered seals and gaskets. Due to the pandemic, their finance office was not open at the time I was there so they gave me Endurance's information, which was kind of also a recommendation. After hearing everything that was covered, I felt they had more to offer than their competitors. Plus, the Endurance people that I’ve spoken to have always been really great and not pushy. I felt that knowing that your company isn't the type to say, "You need to do it now or it might be too late," was the most important when you're purchasing something you're really not sure if you really even need yet.
We are happy that you are having such a great experience with Endurance!

I have three cars and I had a vehicle policy with the company called Toco Warranty. The premiums were high to me, so I started searching. I was looking for value and I stumbled upon Endurance. I had Toco to compare it to then I looked at CarShield. There were some paperwork I got from the dealer, but they only deal with dealerships. Meanwhile, the Endurance website looks okay and it seems informative. It tells me everything I want to know as well. I have a new vehicle and my signing-up experience was wonderful. They’re well informed on the services they provide.
When I went online to apply, the young lady called me immediately and she was nice. She was very pleasant, informative and knowledgeable in the area of the questions that I was asking and she said I’m covered from the rooter to the tooter, but I won’t know that until I need it. Also, even though setting up payments was easy, they send you an email telling you your password, but they don’t tell you it expires immediately, so when you go to make your first payment, you can’t get in. There are no instructions that say that as soon as you get the password, you have to change it. I log in and make my payment, input the password, print it out, and keep safe for my records. I go to use the password and it’s no good. I called and the lady said it was expired. They should have told me I had 24 hours to change it. Still, I just made my payment and I’d recommend Endurance.

Endurance is a good company. They had the best reviews of the companies that I looked at online, which was why I chose them. The rep I spoke with was knowledgeable. Their purchasing process wasn’t bad at all. It's not much to sign up and it’s not much a month. However, they refused my claim. I took my car to one place to have it looked at. They drained the transmission fluid and put new fluid in. They told me everything was fixed. However, the problem wasn’t my transmission. A week or so after I signed up for Endurance, my car started acting funny again. I took it back to the place and they did the more extensive testing. They found out that it was my transmission.
Once my warranty kicked in, I called and had my car taken to some mechanic. The mechanic called and said they were denying my claim because it was a pre-existing condition. That being said, I understand it but I have to have my car. The guy’s still working on it and I’m gonna have to pay outright, but I am gonna keep Endurance. I hope that they honor their claims. But I did take a step-down because the mileage on my car was off. On the day I signed up, I didn't know how many miles I had. I estimated 70,000, but it was actually closer to 80,000. When the claim was turned in, it was around 85,000. That was a discrepancy, but I got that straight. I need to call and find out more in-depth on what is claimable and what’s fixable with them. But all in all, I haven’t had any problems.

The rep called and asked about the car and the VIN number and the mileage. He also asked if there was any problems with the car and I told him that we’ve always done all the maintenance. There was some problem with the exact mileage even though I gave it to several people several different times. After my fifth call about the mileage, a supervisor called me because I was going to cancel my contract. But they solved all of the issues and assured me. I had a hard time justifying why a six-digit number would cause so much problems and I had all those phone calls asking the same question. After that was resolved, we received a contract. Since they stopped calling and stopped asking me the exact mileage, my experience has been much better.

The dealership I bought the vehicle from gave a two-year warranty that was supposed to come with it. The vehicle protection specialist was informative and he explained everything in detail to me. I like to have things in writing too and I'm still waiting on the package where I can have all the details on it. The main thing I wanted to be sure about was the drivetrain -- it turned 121,000 now. I wanted to make sure that I still had a warranty on my vehicle once the factory extended warranty expired. Endurance was the first company I looked at. I wanted to kinda get it out of the way. The first time I spoke with someone, it wasn’t very good. I understand that it’s a sales tactic to say that I needed to purchase a warranty before I could know what is covered. Whatever price is not guaranteed after. The sales pitch included, “We can’t guarantee this rate.” They couldn’t tell me what was covered until I buy it then I have x amount of time to return it. But why can’t they just tell me? It was ridiculous. What made it really bad was the senior sales rep didn't wanna even tell me like what was part was covered. She couldn’t really tell me anything about the warranty.
What I was understanding was that this was a way to pressure someone into purchasing something. I don't deal well with trying to be pressured or strong-armed into purchasing something so I didn’t really care for that and I declined it. But the second time I spoke with someone about Endurance was much better. It was a little more user-friendly. I was provided a copy of a warranty, knowing that no, it wasn’t my actual policy. It was all right. I actually got a better rate the second time. Also, making the payment wasn’t very hard. It was just the fact that I don't see telling someone that you can’t have anything in writing until after you buy it.

I took my time and spent time looking at them as well as the other companies online, and they seemed like they were a good firm.
Out of the conversation I’ve had and then when I looked online, the different things made sense to me. I then called Endurance back and they talked me through my questions. In the beginning, they were trying to cover their bases and to let me know all of the different things that were being offered, but it would have been helpful if they would have just asked if I was familiar with something or if they could go through something with me. They eventually got to that, but initially, I was a little overwhelmed. The fact that I told them that and I didn’t feel I was pressured. That made me feel I could talk to them.

They paid 1 only after fighting tooth and nail with my repair shop (They won't let you speak to anyone who has authority to overturn a decision).
First claim I didn't put enough miles on my car for them to pay the claim. Cost $3300. Second claim they said there was a discrepancy in the mileage first. I proved that wrong so they claimed I hadn't changed my oil in a timely fashion. I proved that wrong so they finally paid for a starter to be replaced $600. Now I have faulty coil packs and wiring $800 they will not pay. Bottom line is they have a reason to reject ANY and ALL claims written into your contact. Then it was up to me to decide. I take my time whenever I purchase something, so I wanted to make sure that I had enough time to really evaluate other ones that are comparable.
I went through different things with them as far as the payment. If there was one it was my age. It’s a five-year plan but they’re asking for three years upfront. So I paid it off in three years. I was thinking through it like if it’s a five-year plan, why do I have to pay in three years? Why can’t I pay you over the five years? But I’m fine with that. I’m covered and that’s all that matters. I had a couple of issues with my vehicle so I needed to get a warranty. The car dealership that I went to told me not to get a certain car warranty because they had a bad experience with them that they didn't like pay so I got to looking into it. I looked up Endurance and everything I read seemed pretty good. I called them, got online with them, and bought the policy.
First thing, they told me that I had to wait 30 days and a 1,000 before I could actually use the policy. I took my truck to Kinsel the 30th day, with the right mileage on it, and tried to get a claim, but Endurance denied it. I felt like I was getting the runaround. The dealership called Endurance that day. Endurance told the dealership that they were going to have an adjuster to come out 24 to 48 hours to look at the vehicle. That didn't happen until Thursday evening or Friday. But the dealership said they still didn't see them, but they had a report in on it that somebody looked at something.
Then Endurance would only reimburse $150 for car rental. You get five days and it only cost you $30, but most rental cars right here go off for $40 or better. I got a rental car that would cost me $300. I haven't gotten a reimbursement on that yet, and if I do, it's only gonna be half the money. I'm basically coming out of pocket for everything. Even the tow truck that I tried to get on my policy, they were going to tow my vehicle until I told the guy that it was at the repair facility. They said to ask the dealership. They couldn't go there to get it. I had to go over the dealership and actually move my truck off of the lot for them to put the truck on a wrecker then bring it to my house.
With the total amount of about $1,500, I could have just taken my truck somewhere and got it fixed and pay for it myself. But it hasn't been fixed yet. I'm in the process of waiting on the dealership to call me 'cause they took my whole truck apart on the inside and then put it back together. I got a vehicle that I'm looking at my dashboard and sitting in the backseat of my truck. I can't drive with my windows down nor lift my windows up. Two of the people said they're working on something to try to get me to a shop that they recommend. I don't know yet if Endurance would honor my contract and actually pay for it. But I got a 2018 Ford F150 sitting in my yard right now. I'll just wait.

I didn’t get a warranty through the dealership and needed one. I heard Endurance was the best third-party warranty and I reached out to them. I liked the specialist, but I had a problem with Endurance. I got the warranty sometime in April. Then my car ended up going out around April 20. I didn’t know that I had to wait a whole month or 1,000 miles. It was crazy because I was about 20 miles off of that 1,000 miles and they didn’t cover the problem. Now, I am after the mark, but they’re not gonna fix it.

Previously, I had Endurance's warranty on another vehicle and I'm comfortable with them. For my newer vehicle, I put in an inquiry and they called me. The young man from Endurance was very thorough in explaining to me what they covered, what I would have to pay and what I would get along with my membership. He also told me the other perks that came along with it. He was very accommodating and he answered all of my questions.

I went to the ConsumerAffairs website, typed in extended warranty, and Endurance popped up. I saw that ConsumerAffairs was recommending them, so I went with them. Their customer service was great and the rep I talked to was very informative. He helped me through the whole process and he was very engaging. He was great.

My vehicle was getting up there in miles and we were thinking about keeping it for a few more years, so we decided to get a warranty. I had a different extended warranty on another vehicle in the past as well, and it seemed to work out all right for me. This vehicle had too many miles to go bumper-to-bumper, so I wanted to get most of the items that I had covered. I did some research online and Endurance had a good price. They had good reviews too. The reps answered all of my questions, which I had many, and they were quite knowledgeable. It was a pleasurable experience. I also liked the idea of being able to cancel anytime. If I sold it, they would let me cancel. What I’ve had so far has been good, but I haven’t made any claims, and hopefully, I don’t have to. Wait and see how things turn out with me.
Thank you for the 5 star rating! It is much appreciated!

The customer service at Endurance was great. I was looking for something because my car is starting to accumulate a lot of miles and I looked at the nationwide (because I'm military) and bumper-to-bumper coverage. The people I dealt with were very friendly and engaging. It was not just strictly about trying to sell the company or the product. They answered whatever questions I had. There were a couple of them but they reached out to their manager and came up with the answers for me. There was one thing I did ask of him. I know everything is electronic at the moment but I like paper copy so I have a visual. I kinda had to print my own stuff and I would have rather it be sent by snail mail. But that was the only thing.

I purchased an Endurance "Supreme" coverage policy soon after I bought my used BMW 3 series and I factored the cost of the coverage into the price I paid for the used car. My Endurance policy has now ended after 5 years and I can say it is the best decision I made to look after my car and worth every penny. Endurance covered every repair that needed to be performed over the last 5 years and provided a rental car when I needed it. Very professional with excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

My truck has a little higher mileage but it’s in great shape. I was trying to find somebody because most companies don’t go over 150,000 to do a warranty, but Endurance did, which was what drew me to it. Everything happened really quickly after I was signed up. I was surprised. It was bam, bam, bam and everything was done. All my information for the coverage book that needed to come in the mail showed up on my email. The company that accepts payments for them reached out to me and let me know where the company was gonna take the payments so I was gonna see this versus Endurance. I was pleased with the communication.

The customer service at Endurance was great. They answered all my questions and provided me with information. I made my decision to get Endurance over another company based on the price.
