I brought a 2014 Nissan with very low mileage but I was still concerned about warranty coverage and Endurance stood out to me. So when I called my first experience wasn’t the best but another customer service representative made everything right. That’s all we as customers want! I would recommend Endurance to others.

I originally had signed up, and then after reading all the brain damage from Endurance, I decided to cancel it. I've come to realize that they all stink. If you need to put a claim on an extended warranty, you staying to just get beat. Taking the money was easy. Getting the money back was a little more difficult. When you have a problem, it's like anything else with insurance, they don't want to pay.

Something went wrong with the truck and I took it in. Endurance said that I didn't meet the 200-mile marker to get it fixed in which I didn't understand, that I needed to have 200 more miles driven on the vehicle. I told them that if I knew I needed 200 miles, I would have done that. Something just went wrong with my vehicle and they should fix it. They said that they couldn't do that and that I need to have a total of 1,000 miles. This was ridiculous. I paid for insurance. They were supposed to help me no matter what. I was paying on time. Why would I not drive the mileage that they want if I knew something was wrong with the vehicle? They just found a way out of fixing the vehicle so I got out of that. It was too much to go through with them. I canceled my warranty. They suck and I would never do business with them nor recommend them to anyone.

When I signed up, I didn't feel I was misled in any way, shape or form. It surprised some of the people in the automotive resale business that I got that policy with that price. They told me it was a good deal at a good price.

The sign-up process went really well. But when I tried to file a claim for my wife's car, there were so many issues that it’s become a problem in my area. The biggest thing is where I live and the maintenance rate is higher than what Endurance will normally cover. My wife pretty much gave up on the claim and just took the car to a shop to get it done. We were already waiting three days and I already had a rental car for a day and Endurance didn't even do the coverage on that.
I was trying to call Endurance and try to figure out what was wrong with a claim and what was going on. They just told me to talk to a manager if I was still having those issues. But the car company that I was with pretty much told me that they were not going to accept Endurance anymore because of the issues they were having, not just with me, but with the other claims that they were going through with them. My wife's car is now fixed. But I had to pay all the charges on it.

The product was explained very well but I don’t like the way that Endurance does the payments. I like to simply go in through my bank and check off and pay them every month. That would allow me to choose the payment date rather than having to remember that Endurance is gonna pull money out on a certain day, and that date does not correspond with how we pay our bills, so it's a hassle for me to do it. But I liked the policy, so we did it. I was very satisfied with the sign-up experience, which was easy. But I'm not satisfied with the payment option. I get it that that’s the way they do their payments but it’s inconvenient for me. Still, Endurance is a good choice for us and we've recommended it to others.

I like what Endurance offered and decided to go with it. They did well because I had specific questions from past experiences and they answered everything I asked. We were on the phone for quite a while and I felt confident in getting the service. I had to do a multi-week initially and they were even willing to work with me on that. I was very satisfied. I would recommend them.

I was looking through my Carshield policy and I didn't see the initial coverage that I thought was being covered like brakes and minor stuff. I cancelled it and went with Endurance. I went over what was covered with a fine-tooth comb. Customer service was very helpful and they allowed me to do partial payment for the initial payment. An extended warranty is a safety net. I haven't had to use it but I don't know what's gonna happen this winter. I purchased the car a couple of months before I signed up with Endurance.

I was having an issue with a battery and I couldn’t get the car started. Endurance was offering $100 on a battery and to use that, you gotta have your vehicle towed. I was told at the Ford garage it was gonna be five days before they could look at it. They were looking at renting me a car. The first person I talked to on that battery issue was indicating that I could probably go out and buy the battery and submit a claim for it afterwards. When I called back later to try to do that, I talked to somebody else and that individual told me something totally different, that I couldn't do that. I would have to actually have to get it towed in. So, I was getting two different stories there. I didn't submit the claim after I talked to Endurance because it was gonna end up costing me more money than going out and buying a battery and putting it in myself. I got my vehicle in the Ford garage right now getting diagnosed. So, we'll see how that goes.

I'm loving Endurance. They were the first one who accepted my car and gave me the lowest rate for everything that they covered. I worked with mainly one rep there and she really worked with me because I had to set up my deposit, my initial down payment and I had to break it down. In most countries, the initial payment is the initial payment. It will not be broken down.

The Endurance sales guy that I talked to was phenomenal. I looked around and ended up calling him back.

The Endurance rep I worked with was wonderful and knowledgeable about the products and service. He was detailed in explaining everything to me. He let me know that I will be receiving all of my information through email. It was really great. They were very reasonable. I'm not mechanical in any sense of the word. But the policy seemed like it covered a lot of things that may break down.
Reviewed Dec. 6, 2021
The rep told me some things that I didn’t know about in my initial research. You should know what the process and the steps are when you go in for repair, if it's necessary and she appeared to be very knowledgeable on that step-by-step process in the event of having to make a claim. She also told me about the extra coverage that would cover things like the electronics in the vehicle and the screens, in the event of trouble. So she went over what was covered in the initial policy and then what was not covered, but could be additionally purchased. Also, she went over the particulars of the coverage itself, which was good to know. She let me know that when I get the actual policy, I would be able to read over it and had set so many days to actually agree to it. When I looked over it, it was exactly what she said. I told her she was a good salesperson because she got me to purchase an additional portion of coverage. It was an excellent experience.
I wasn't looking forward to having any type of claims needing to be done anytime soon but she made me feel confident in the coverage with Endurance over some other ones that I contacted. I recommended some people already and I haven't even used the service yet. But on the flip side of all of these, I had to put a pause on the service because someone totaled my vehicle so I called in a few days after the accident and let them know. The person was helpful enough as they said that they would do that and when I get another vehicle, I just have to call back and transfer the policy from the destroyed vehicle to the next one.
Reviewed Dec. 6, 2021
I like that with Endurance, I don't have to deal with a third party. The purchasing process was easy and it seems like it's pretty much a no haggle price. That was fair enough. I was really disgusted at CarShield at the time. They paid my claim but they dragged their feet about it and left me without a vehicle for a month over an air conditioner, and it was not even a serious issue.

Endurance's price was good until I checked with another company and then I cancelled out. The reps were a little bit too high pressure and I don’t like to be high-pressured. Most consumers do not want to be because that turns you off. If you're trying to sell me something, tell me about the product. But I want you to listen to what I have to say. If I want something, I wouldn't have been calling you in the first place. So you’re telling me about your product, but don’t start with telling me that it’s going to cost me $2,000 or $9,000 to get a new motor, if my motor breaks down. And that you have roadside assistance. I already have roadside assistance so that wouldn't be important to me.
The other thing is, the rep started off with a price but if you refuse it, they come back with even harder pressure. Then, they transfer you from one person to another person, which was supposed to be the higher up. Then that person comes on, and it's another higher up. So by the time you finish with the call, you've spoken to about four people. I'm 80 years old and I’ve forgotten what the first was saying or the second one. So by the time I’m finished, I'm confused. Then they start going down on the price. They could have given me that price in the first place. They made me think there’s something tricky going on.

I wanted the bumper-to-bumper coverage. I ran the numbers, and I liked Endurance's cost over time. There's not a whole lot of difference between the premium packages as far as the coverage. So then, it boils down to the confidence you have in the person you're talking to as far as what they're saying, and the cost. As far as Endurance's customer service, I'm kind of somewhat savvy so I completely understood everything they were saying. They answered the questions just like I hoped they would.

I'm having a bad experience with Endurance. I turned in a cancellation slip and I didn't know I was gonna have to go through all that and get it notarized. I took the car off and they still did not give me my money, and I still haven't got it. It’s been almost three months I've been waiting on that money. Now, they're telling me I didn't send the cancellation slip back. I'm tired of it and they’re calling me for more payments for this other car I put on it and replaced with the other one. I just had another payment and they’re saying that I owe another one. I told them to apply that payment to this car that I have and that I'm not giving them any of my information again until I see that being done. The payment on this car is only $104 but they send me things that I owe 150-something.
The rep told me to call him back but I’m not gonna go through that. They should refund my money but they still haven’t done anything. Then, my wife just had a car and they wouldn't even pay for her engine after she had a problem with it. She ended up having to pay $5,000 for an engine for her car. I stopped reaching out because I'm tired of them. Every time I talk to somebody, they got some Chinese person on and they don't know how to talk English. I wanna tell them to get somebody that can talk English. I’m sick of Endurance. I’m a mechanic and I don't need it, but I just did it. This is ridiculous. I’m just wasting my money.

My experience with the Endurance service reps was good and bad. They were good with the verbal but then the multi-page document that came out to me kind of took me by surprise because now I'm trying to figure out what I am covered and not covered for. The contract is like a treatise from a law department. I don't have time to read all that and try to decipher it. Right now, I'm smothered with stuff to do and I don't have time to play with this. Endurance could have been more clear on that.

The gal was great and I appreciated her. She walked you through each policy, each one of the different ones that there were, and didn't push one way or another. She let me decide what was best for me and it was a pleasant experience. The policy was the best money for the buck, which was why I chose it. The interesting thing was after the conversation, it's 30 days and I would have liked to have some sort of confirmation that my 30 days are up or a link to my policy could have been given. I don't remember ever receiving anything through the mail that says this is my policy and this is what it covers. I had to research everything, find that email and pull it up myself.

Everything seemed great at first and everyone was so nice, until it came time to use it. My auto repair shop called to get the service approved and was told that I would need to contact them first. I called and I was told there was a mileage discrepancy, and I would need to cancel my account and start a new one in order for the service to be covered by my certified auto repair shop. I made the initial payment as well as a monthly payment to Endurance, and I was a little bit surprised when I finally got the contract. It said that I have to had 1,000 miles on the car before they would do anything under the contract. I still don't have 1,000 miles on the car because I don't drive the cars much so, that was awkward. But it’s their rule.
I don't have any problem with the sign-up procedure. The only problem is that I didn’t know that they wanted me to wait 1,000 miles. I could care less, because as soon as I picked up the car, I took it to my friend down the road who owns a garage and I had him check everything. He checked the brakes, the tires, the oil and the Freon pressure. He took care of all that and I paid that out of pocket. I already had the car serviced and I don't care about any contracts. Money is not my issue. It's getting something programmed that the boys can use. I bought a 10-year-old Hyundai Accent, because I wanted something for the boys to start and I want them to have it. They start driver's training next year and as long as they're driving the car, it will continue to be insured and it will also have the Endurance service if it works. It doesn’t go away.
Everything was fine, except the terms of the agreement are concerning me. Because I looked up the people that I talked to and they told me that they have people that use Endurance all over the country, and I said, “Okay.” Then, they were telling me that they were trying to recruit as many people as they can as customers in Florida because of the growth in Florida. I live in Polk County so I started looking around to find somebody who uses Endurance in the event that I need to get something done, I would know where to go. I found only one in my area. So, my concern now is that they're moving into Florida, but there aren’t very many people in Florida that will honor Endurance. There are some in Tampa and some in Jacksonville but there are few anywhere else. If I start hunting and I can't find one, I am not gonna be a happy camper. I'll be looking for somewhere else for coverage or another place.
Endurance said I have the right to stop whenever I want to. I’d just tell them to terminate, I don't make any more payments and that's the end of it. I just lose the money that I invested upfront. Now, to make it even more exciting, I'm moving to Oregon and I don't know what Endurance offers in Oregon. Also, there were a few things that Endurance failed to mention that were clearly omitted. One of which was the use of Mepco as finance people. Nobody told me about that and I didn't know until they sent me the bill.

The coverage from Endurance seemed a little bit wider. However, I almost did not go with them because of the reps that were calling me every time to follow up. I never got the email with the exact description. Someone sent me one file at the beginning, and then the other person who told me for another package of insurance would never send it. They put me to a point where I questioned if this was a scam. I did a bunch of phone calls and when I was close to decide, I told them that I would not spend my money without having an idea what I'm putting so I needed a file. They sent me the full descriptions and I decided that it was worth it and a good package. Then I got an email from a company that collects the Endurance payment. They sent the instructions, username, and temporary password, however, it doesn't work. I'm pretty flexible with the internet, set up my account, and do the auto-pay. Now, I got to plan a time to deal with that.

Lot of wasted time.
I had to drop my Truck off at night and left the keys and a copy of my warranty card and made note to call the warranty company. I decided to go with Endurance to see if I would follow up on my research and decide if I want to stay with them or not. But I like that they have the maintenance support, which means we work together as opposed to leaving me out on the island saying I'm covered. And then, I don’t get a lube job, I miss it by 1,000 miles, and they'd tell me that I’m not covered. If Endurance is paying for the services, I’m more likely to get the services on time, and they will have a record of it. Unless you do your own mods to the car, then it voids the warranty. I was like, "How about you go over what you don't cover? Because the list goes on forever of what you do cover." The only thing that I don't like with Endurance is that you have to wait 30 days and drive 1,000 miles before it kicks in.
They have a program called EnduranceAdvantage and that's what I signed up for. With that program, if a tire pops, they'll replace your tires in the first year. You get three free oil changes a year with that program. You will also get a free set of wiper blades in the first year as well. I told my mom and my husband about them. I always wanted my cars to be serviced from the dealership, so that was what I was looking for. I have a Ford car and when I was planning to go with Endurance, I checked with the Ford dealership and they have a tie-up with them and it will be helpful for me in filing the claims. The customer representative who attended my phone was knowledgeable because he answered all my questions. I was happy with him so I made the payment. But at a point of time, I thought I was being scammed. His voice was so muffled and I was hearing other people talking. The quality of the call could have been better as it was the first time I got in touch with them.
He told me that he would send me a binder in the mail and I have never received it. I actually got it on my phone. I was just expecting it, especially in this case, so I haven't made the first payment yet. When I was checking the reviews of Endurance, it was really good, but the last couple of reviews on Google were not, and I felt disappointed. I was also told that I have 1,000 miles cap and 30 days on my car. I've crossed the 1,000 miles already and I'm waiting for the 30 days to get over.

The plan that I went with covers pretty much everything. I told the rep I talked to that if it makes this truck move, I want it covered. In the email he sent me, I saw a couple of things that I wanted to question but I wanted to wait till I got the paperwork to see exactly what it is and all that and I still haven't gotten it. But I know it takes a couple of weeks to get it all typed up. Other than that, he answered any questions I had and he seemed pretty knowledgeable.

I called a couple of months ago and talked to a gentleman. You could be forward and pressure-y a little bit and that would not be a problem to me. It’s a problem if you're rude and he was pretty rude. I didn't want to deal with him and I ended up checking out a few different ones because I didn't like how he acted. Then, I called again and it was a woman that answered. She was a little forward but it was understandable - she was trying to sell a product. But she wasn't rude so I decided to go with her. However, the timeframe of five years was a little short, compared to the others that offered me six and seven years. I wanted the one at least that lasts me 72 months for the time that I financed the car with that I wanted to be covered. The rep says that I could only get a five-year and offered me a five-year, 50,000. I didn't understand the reasoning why because the car is a 2018 with low miles. Hopefully, things will work out with the warranty.

Endurance called me and I had a good conversation with the dude. He explained to me everything that I was getting, plus the bonus features as far as an oil change and all the little ones that people get when they sign up with the company. And he told me about everything, like a lot of people don’t cover certain things, but Endurance does cover. Some auto warranties give stuff like the engine, transmission and powertrain, but they won't cover the electrical or the rear-end. But Endurance covers everything for a cheaper price than everybody, and they gave us extra time.

Endurance offers me the best peaceful solution because their system of approval is much more simple and the way the dealerships are paid. People are more apt to get busy on your repair because of that. That's what I was looking at. Also, their rep was very thorough in answering our questions and was very good at taking her time to explain the questions we had and what was covered and not. She covered everything well. They weren’t trying to oversell me anything and I felt that value was there with the way she explained what I was looking for.

The three times I did talk to them they keep saying it's going to be 6 more weeks but never will let me talk to the department that handles it. Very untrustworthy!

Also, they told me that everything would be covered from the powertrain to electrical and things like that with the plan that I have. It’s supposed to be the Advantage Plus plan and it also comes with the maintenance deal, which was a plus. The service was great. Also, the dealership told me they accept Endurance and Endurance reimburses pretty good for them. It was a done deal for me.

People need to know to ask for every discount they can think of and try to get as much included in their contract for coverage for you as you can. The other warranty company I talked to wasn't going to give me anything that covered gaskets and seals and I got the people at Endurance to cover those. That was a good deal. I work with a lady who has Endurance on her truck. Replacing the entire motor on her truck, she only had a $100 deductible. When I decided to go with Endurance, they were not real happy. They asked me about my car mileage, VIN number, etc. Initially, they were going to enroll me in their premium package which was gonna be 140 and some dollars a month and it covered everything right down to spark plugs. I don't need all of that and I explained that to them. I can change my spark plugs.
I was mainly concerned with the major components, the drivetrain, transmission, engine, etc. They customized the policy, and that brought my payment down to $113 a month. I was really pleased about that. To know that if my transmission or engine goes, it’s gonna cost me $100 deductible, and that is extremely important to me. It makes me feel very secure that I don’t have to one day come up with $3,000, $4,000 that I don’t have for major car repairs. One other very important thing is this is a five-year policy with Endurance while the other one was month-to-month. Another reason why I went with Endurance is I will pay this premium for two years but I get five years of coverage.

Do not buy!!!! It is a total scam and by far the worst auto warranty I have ever had. I bought this for the peace of mind to know that my car is covered. I had a head gasket go out and the claim was denied. "Due to a lack of oil changes" which is total **. Oil changes have nothing to do with a head gasket. Even the repair shop is angry and scratching their head. I have been without a car for almost a month. They will do and say anything to not pay out. Yet they sure take the money right out of my account every month. Regardless of how easy they make it seem in their commercials and advertising on their website...don't fall for this scam. Pick a different company. Save yourself the trouble. My last auto warranty experience was nothing like this. This has been nothing but a headache. They are rude and treat you like absolute garbage. Run far far away from this pathetic excuse of a company.

Nowadays, Endurance makes payments so easy. The account information is provided. So, they could get us on AutoPay, and the rest is history. I kept seeing a lot of different commercials about auto warranties. CarShield was the main one, but then I was getting some bad info about them, so I went through the log, and Endurance and a few others came up.
