The salesperson was good to work with, and he was very personal. He did his job well. He was really good about getting back and making sure he got the information he needed as well as making sure I did what I needed to do for him. He got back to us promptly too.

I did some comparison with other extended warranty companies and I liked Endurance prices along with their extended coverage. For their price, you get a little more than the rest of the companies are offering for a little less when it comes to out-of-pocket expenses. Also, they weren't pushy. The sales rep gave me some options of what I could possibly qualify for and purchase. The specialist that I talked to was very confident and courteous. He was able to give me background information on the company, as well as the protective services it entailed. He also answered all my questions and he was knowledgeable, so I felt comfortable with him. The warranty gives me a peace of mind knowing that if I'm out of town like I am now, and something happened to my car, that Endurance has it covered. That’s a great thing. They’re just not in one particular area. They provide real fast services throughout the US.

Took a bit of conversation but got the type of coverage I wanted — bumper to bumper on a well maintained late model auto. Do your homework and ask key questions to ensure things like computer functions and your sunroof are covered.

The reps were nice because they saved me. When I signed up on May 25th with Endurance, I wasn't gonna do it. They kept reaching out to me, telling me to sign up for the warranty. They said I wasn’t going to have a warranty after 100,000 miles. I told them I had 98,000 and I never mentioned what happened with my Kia because my husband said not to say anything.
I purchased the Endurance warranty and then, probably two weeks later, I reached out to this wonderful gentleman. I was gonna leave Endurance because I didn't want it. The car was in the process of being fixed and the repair people were gonna fix it because they had to but once they are done, I didn’t want the car. The gentleman from Endurance was so sweet to give me more knowledge of what I could do to confront Kia. So the people at Endurance were very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. It was a headache with that other company and I hope to God I don't ever have to go through that nightmare again.

The rep from Endurance was good. I wanted full coverage of everything in case something happens but right now, I'm getting something fixed, an oil change and tune-up. And I have to pay them out my pocket because it's time to get them. The weather's changing so I had to get the coolant changed out and I was waiting to use the warranty but I have to wait 30 days. Other than that, the deal sounded good and it’s everything that I needed. It’s supposed to save you money and that's what I'm looking forward to.

We had a 10-year extended vehicle warranty on our car, and it was about up. We were afraid that some major malfunction might be needed to be repaired again, so we decided we needed some insurance. Endurance called us after I put in our details. The rep was kind and efficient. We communicated over the internet and telephone. The only problem we have is I’m not sure if he sent us an email on our policy.

Endurance was very good. I didn't have any issues. At first, the reps were a little pushy. I bought two coverages at the same time, for two different vehicles. But I didn't buy both vehicles at the same time. It was four days later. I told them that, “Give me about a week and I want to buy both of them at the same time.” But they kept calling, "Are you ready?” I told her the third time she called, "I'll call you guys when I'm ready. I have your number.” I already had it set that I was gonna get Endurance, but I just didn't want to get one in one week one, get one the next week. I got them both at the same time. We got our booklets, our stuff for coverage in last week and everything went well as they say it would be.

I wanted a full coverage with a minimum deductible, and the rep went over three packages that Endurance offered. He helped me choose a more comprehensive package that would cover what I have now, so I was able to get what I was looking for. The rep was very understanding, patient, thorough, and answered every question, even some things I didn't think to ask. His professionalism, knowledge of the company, and willingness to work with me in setting up down payments, he made it almost effortless. He was awesome.
Endurance did my down payment into installments, which was great. However, I'm on a fixed income and the payments came within a week of each other of being deducted from my account. It was supposed to have been deducted on the 15th, but I don't think it came out until the 25th. So, I wasn't sure if I was going to be charged for the month of June. Everything ended up okay, but this could have more clarity on whether or not we were going to do it the same month that the down payment came out. I was supposed to get a welcome package as well. I got things that they sent me by way of email, but I've not received anything in the mail.

I signed up with Endurance and they told me that I was going to get a contract. But I never got that contract and I only got it when I went back and asked for it. After I read it and seeing that there were so many loopholes in it, what they covered, what they didn't cover, and how they covered it, I was done with them. I called them back and told them I want my money back. They got to send me a check because I lost the card I gave them and I had to cancel that card.
I got led a whole different bill of goods when I signed up and the contract that I got wasn't what I signed up for. There’s just too much craziness going in the contract and I could read between the lines. It’d be a lot better for me to go ahead and save my $3,500 and put it towards repairs of the car. If I went with continued with them, I'd have to pay them $3,500, then I got to pay them $100 for everything else. Plus, I can see right now that I'm going to be buying a lot of parts that I was told were going to be covered.

The first time I attempted to get a quote, I found the questions from the offering broker of the warranty too intrusive and deeply personal about my economic situation. "Are you a homeowner? Do you own your home?", da, da, da, "What's your age?" And I thought, "I'm just building a massive problem later of more solicitation calls." So, I just hung up on the person after. I was barely halfway through their screwy qualification process. I went online and did a search on the car for average pricing. And then, Ford started calling me back because of all the participants in this extended warranty business had done business with them.
I had always done all the service. It was my second Ford vehicle, the same type, and I thought, "Okay, I'll get a quote from Ford. My life won't get any worse." But Ford gave me a quote, and I felt that it was too expensive. It was over $1,000 a year for the car and there were limitations, but they were going to extend the warranty out quite a bit. Some time past, mileage on my vehicle got up well over 60,000 to like 64,000. And I was doing some other inquiries online and I saw the ConsumerAffairs solicitation about auto warranties and I felt a sense of comfort about ConsumerAffairs being a relatively objective assessor of what is being offered. So, I put in the information about myself to try to get a quote and I listened to the pitches that came at me electronically. ConsumerAffairs gave me a number, I selected one and it just happened to be Endurance.
The thing that I liked about them was they're not a brokered service, that you were talking to a person who worked at Endurance Auto Warranty who writes the expense check. They're not just taking a cut of finding a victim. It wasn't a heavy pitch sale. Every question I asked was well-answered. And even then, I just took the number of the person I spoke to and I said, "I'll make a decision this weekend." At the same time, that was coincident with me speaking with Ford, and Ford almost harassed me. "What are you going to do? What are you going to do? Your mileage is going up."
Ford structured an environment where they find hardcore driven sales people that just annoy you. So, I lost my sense of endurance to tolerate the Ford thing. By the third time the guy asked me, "What are you going to do?", I said, "I'm going to drive the car until it breaks and take the risk and pay for the repair myself because you're playing a game with effective insurance here and you're making money." Am I just willing to stand at the roulette table and think, "Oh, the transmission will make it to 70,000."
What these people who are selling this stuff don't understand is that you have three other people that you know with the product and they're on their 120,000th mile and they haven't had a problem. And you've done regular maintenance. I'm an engineer and I've done regular catalog maintenance all the way along and I don't have any really horrible disturbing problems with the vehicle. And it's completely paid off now for like three years. Do I want to suddenly pay more and more and more? And every year, you pass every few more miles that go on the car. When I was talking to Endurance, the person told me the quote they gave me would be the quote that would hold until the car clicked over to 70,000 miles. So, I was sitting there thinking, "These calls are never going to stop. I can probably shop this for a little longer. Risk at driving a little longer, and then make a decision at 68,000 or 69,000 miles."
I became more keenly aware of what the shortages meant for the retail experience of buying, and that used car prices were increasing for the first time in 28 years. Statistically, they never have. I have an extremely low mile, good quality vehicle, well taken care of. It's 2021 and I'm driving around in a 2013 Ford Flex. The Ford Flex's design hasn't changed. It's an acquired taste. It's not all sexy, but I accepted it. I traded in an Audi Q7 for the Ford Flex and the Ford Flex was as good of a vehicle in 2010 when I bought my first one, and it was 40% less than the equivalent purchasing of the Q7, a new 2010. I was so happy with the 2010 Ford Flex, I bought another one in 2013, I leased it. And then, at the end of that lease, I bought it out because I would have given back cars to dealerships with a total of over 30,000 miles unused mileage. So, when I bought the car out. I was happy with it.
Now, I'm probably driving around in the state of Pennsylvania with the only Ford Flex with 64,000 miles on it. I had it built to the specification that I wanted. It's loaded. But it has no sunroof. I don't like sunroofs. I like the extra headroom of no sunroof and I like the fact that the sunroof weighs in terms of all of its mechanicals and everything. It adds 100 pounds of weight to the very top of the car. It changes the center of gravity and handling of the car and things like that. For the amount of time I'm going to use it, I'm not going to pay 1,500 bucks to open it three times a year. I get to this point, and Endurance called me back and said, "Because you're of your age, the car's owned, we can sweeten the warranty a little bit."
And then, I told Endurance all the different comparable numbers that I've heard in the market for the additional amounts of mileage you can drive and how much per month, how much per year you pay for these things. Generally, for four years of additional coverage, you pay for it in 24 months, and everybody's playing the numbers and statistics and gain here. If you get the whole thing paid off, then you don't have to pay for 24 more months, but you're still covered. According to the terms of the warranty, you can adjust the amount of your cost if you change it from a four-year plan to a three-year plan or even a two-year plan. So, you can modulate how much you want to spend, then you discover it's transferable to a new owner as long as they re-up the program. That increases the value of it.
And right now, we're at this one time in third year experience of used cars being worth more every month than they have been in the last 30 years, and it's just because you can't buy the new car you want at the dealership. And your used car doesn't represent any problem to you in its function. Why endure the additional economic burden right now? Just keep driving your car.
So, I reached the point where, economically, I found that I could get a warranty that would be good to take me to 100,000 miles for about 120 bucks a month. And I thought, "I'll probably drive this car for six more months until the shortage of new car availabilities is addressed in the market." I can actually place the order for the vehicle that I want and have it speced because it's never going to be on the lot. It's always gizmoed out more than I want it in the last 10% of all the options that you buy on the car, the things that go wrong or haven't been adequately tested because they're unproven in terms of true durability. So, I rationalized I'll pay 120 a month for at least six months until I get through that time and I'm covered for any big failure. If I just decide spontaneously to sell the car, I can sell it and transfer it with the warranty, which is, in today's market where used cars are going up, it enhances the value of the car I'm selling.
The reps seemed the more rational of people that I met in the marketplace. And there are mean jokes about auto warranties right now on the internet. There's a famous meme I've seen where it's actually one man standing in a men's room against a bank of 30 urinals. And another man walks into the men's room. Now, there are 30 urinals and the man walks all the way to this urinal adjacent to the man that's already occupied. And then you see his head turning and he says, "I'd like to talk to you about a new automobile warranty." The parody in the pictures. In no men's restroom would another guy walk all the way down and stand right at the urinal next to you when you have 30 urinals to choose from. But the joke is the first thing that comes out of the guy's mouth is something about an automobile warranty. That's why he took the extra steps. It's a perfect parable for what's going on in the marketplace today.
All these companies that are selling modeled their selling protocol to the C student in your class. Professional salespeople that are involved, it's a numbers game. They just got to get you to yes, they just got to get your credit card number and get you through their mill. So, their pitch is designed for a C student. They never anticipate an informed customer would ever arrive at their door. The thing that Endurance could do better is figure out quickly through a series of qualifying questions when they're talking with the customer, where does the customer sit on the intelligence bell curve? Are they smarter than the average cat or are they just another entrapment mechanism that we have to use all of our sales pitches and all of our special adjectives that, "This is the super, prestige," dah, dah, dah.
When I'm talking to someone, I understand what I want. I actually had to draw it out of them. "Oh, so I could do this for over two years, not three? Oh, okay. And I could do it to a monthly payment and I could do it to this." I asked more questions than the guy could answer, but it's necessary in order to get him to tell me what I want to know because the middle of the road, the consumer is not going to call and understand what they want and what they need and where the fulcrum should be to make the decision.

Endurance Auto Warranty's reps were very friendly. They sounded good. They seemed to be knowledgeable about it. They answered my questions. I’m still a little leery about the amount of money it's costing me. If it does everything that it says, it could be worthwhile. I had the oil change. Right after I had the plan, the change oil light popped up on the pickup, so I just took the vehicle to get it changed. I thought maintenance items were covered even with that 30-day restriction, but I guess they're not. I ended up paying for it myself. That's no big thing. I just misunderstood what it was in the beginning.

I reached out to Endurance and spoke to a gentleman. Endurance was a better deal for me, price-wise, as well as what it covered. He went through the coverage and he explained what he needs to explain. I'm old school. I would have preferred it better if I could have sat down at his office and he went through it with me. Doing things over the phone or on the internet makes me very suspicious and nervous that they're selling me something extra that I don't need, or that it's not going to cover the major things that I'm not going to be able to afford to have worked on if it needs to be. My son referred me to Endurance. He has it and he thinks they’re a very good insurance warranty. Endurance sent me the contract book and told me what I'm eligible for. They went over the payment plans as well. However, they needed the exact mileage and I didn't have it. I gave them 49,000 as the mileage in the beginning and the quoted amount was 239. They took 100 that week and the rest was taken out later. When I gave them the correct mileage, which was 48,293, they texted me with the new contract stating that it was 219. I overpaid them $20. I didn’t agree with that, but I didn't bother to call in and tell them.

I've had CarShield for the last three years on my vehicles. I did a little bit of research and I thought that Endurance would be better for my fit on this particular car that I have right now. When I went ahead and plunged in, I was told by CarShield, “We don't like to down any other company, but Endurance has not given you the whole feedback and wait till you see the contract.” I called Endurance back and they said, “The contract’s coming to you.” I'm skeptical at the moment because this is my first full month of going through the process. Every day I go to the mail thinking, “Today I'm going to have my contract from Endurance.” But I don't have it yet.
They already took my money, but they said that when it comes down to if I ever needed something taken care of, they're only going to take care of half of the bill and not the other half. I reached out to some other people online, and they said, “That didn't happen to me.” Or, “They completely denied my claim.” They told me on the phone, though, that's not true. If my car ever becomes less than the book value of the vehicle, they will deny a claim. But other than that, all I'm responsible for is the transmission and engine, electrical system, and air conditioning, whatever was to go out would be a $100 deductible, and they assured me of that. So I said, “Okay. Let's go ahead and let's follow through.”

The rep that I spoke with sounded like one of those promo guys. So it was pretty funny, but I was trying not to make it obvious. I did a lot of research on this. Right now, I'm still deciding whether or not to cancel the policy. I saw some bad reviews and some positive ones. But it seems like almost every protection company has this problem that they would promise to cover something and then when there's a failure, they have some kind of excuse or reason not to cover it. As of right now, I'm paying for this, so I want to make sure that I am covered for failure.
As far as the purchasing experience, I felt like they wanted to strap me into buying the policy no matter what I would tell them or how I would feel. They would say things like, “Oh, but if your car is going to break down in a month, you're gonna have to pay that out of pocket.” I spoke with John and I'm expecting a phone call from him because we're still talking about this policy to make a final decision on it. But it's been a few days and I haven't heard from him. So within a reasonable time, if no one reaches out to me, then I can make the decision to cancel it. Because if they're not willing to reach out within a reasonable time, what are they going to do when I have to file a claim?

I like the added perks with Endurance. I like the vouchers I could use towards oil changes and maintenance on the vehicle. I also like that in the first year, that if I got a tire flat or needed a new tire, I could get two new tires. I also like that with Endurance I do not have to deal with middlemen. There was one downside with Endurance though. I had several conversations over an extended period of two weeks with talking to people.
In the end, when I was trying to sign up with one particular person, they scared me because of the price of the coverage. There was some miscommunication about writing a policy. We were very close to $6,000 and the rep wasn't sure if he could write the policy for me because of that. Then another thing was the pricing. Endurance really wasn't able to do as much discounting. And even so, through my company, we had vouchers, they still couldn't do any better pricing. But it was still not a big enough factor that caused me not to go with Endurance.

It was a pretty good customer service so I decided to go with them.
Their reps were really professional and personable. They seemed like really nice people. I really felt like they were being upfront with me and I appreciated that. I got a pretty solid understanding of what I was getting, and they were really responsive. They seemed to be pretty adept and know the information. They had described a couple of what they told me that I was eligible for, but they also described some other things to me because I had questions about the package I was getting as some of the other packages. I read my stuff thoroughly and I passed it on to my service writer at my dealership that serviced my Dodge Charger. She found a couple of things in there that I did not realize and called my attention to. It wasn't disclosed to me when I purchased the Endurance warranty that I had to get an oil change before my first 1,000 miles or the first six months. I could have run over my 1,000 miles and not done that because I just got an oil change before I bought the warranty. Fortunately, that engine only has about 5,000 miles on it because it was just replaced last year. I went ahead and got another one so I would comply with the contract. I just wish there was full disclosure to the potential customer as far as the break in service. Other than that, I was explained pretty much everything from the get-go.

Beware of this company! The dealership filed a claim for our windows. Only the regulator is warrantied, the motor is not. The dealership clerk wrote, in error, that the regulator took out the motor and Endurance denied the claim. My husband had the clerk as the mechanic if what the clerk wrote was correct and it was determined that there is no way to tell which piece took out the other. The dealership clerk called Endurance to attempt to correct his mistake and Endurance still would not honor the warranty.
My husband wrote an email and called multiple times to attempt to resolve pointing out that there was no way to tell that our uncovered part took out the covered part or that the covered part took out the uncovered part and asked how they could justify denying the claim. They provided no explanation not would they will not send out a denial letter. When my husband asked to speak to someone higher in the company he was told that the person who he was speaking to was as high as he needed to go. The other managers are busy and they will not tell him anything different than what she was telling him. Evidently they will use anything they can to deny your claim. Buyers beware!

The rep of Endurance was pleasant. The professionalism was good, but I found out some of the stuff that he said was not true. I'm the type of person where I don't like being misled. He told me the main things that I was looking for. Like, possible engine stuff or transmission stuff, things like high ticket items that normally would have your car sitting for a while if you don't have the money just readily available that could put you out of commission for a while, that I wouldn't have to pay as much at one time.
What he offered me was, $100 deductible and then a $100 copay. Then, 100 and something dollars a month and then it was $99 down. But I went back and looked at some of the other things that I wasn't able to look at when I was talking to him and it wasn't as good as he said it was. I don’t think I will ever allow myself to be forced into a decision in one phone call again. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I read the reviews and thought Endurance might be a company I might go with. I told them that the car might have 121,000 miles because I was getting it from my granddaughter. The rep didn't say anything about having a different premium if it's more than or lower than that number of miles. After answering questions and I was getting ready to pay, the rep said he would turn me over for confirmation. When I get over to confirmation, I gave them the exact miles. I was told I was to be in a different category. That sounded strange that I said 121,176 and it was gonna be a higher premium. The contract will now be the value of the car but will be something else lower. It's $10,000 or the Blue Book value, which they were throwing on me at that point. How are could they take a credit card payment on something they quoted me then tell me afterward, “No, that's not right”?
I could understand if they would have changed the price before I gave them the credit card. I did not like that mid-cycle change when the transactions were going on. I thought it was a done deal because I had already given them my credit card. Also, I've yet to receive the policy and I'm waiting for it. It was supposed to take 7 to 10 days. That was on the 26th of May. I wanna review the policy to see if I’m even gonna stay with Endurance. I'm supposed to have a 30-day review period with a full refund if I am not satisfied.

Endurance had some good reviews. But I’m starting to change my mind. The experience so far has been good, but I would like a packet from them that actually tells me, “This is what your coverage is, Ms. **. You have the silver packet,” or the gold packet, whichever one it was. They told me they once were going to send me something out, but they never sent me anything. I asked Endurance about that, and then they said, “We’ll send it to your phone.” I said, “No, I want a packet sent to my house.” I don't have time to look over the phone. And it didn't tell me much when they sent me a message on the phone, "Oh, you have this package." Because it went so quickly when we went over it that I didn't get to see what all my coverage was. Nothing's wrong with my car, but I would still like to know exactly what I'm paying for every month.
The coverage that was offered was a good one. First, they offered me another one. I was like, “Look, I'll be honest -- I don't plan to drive my car like that.” And then they said, “We have another offer.” So the other offer they gave me, which was better, was three months or 200 miles. And I said, “Okay, I can make that.” But it’s not a car that I plan to drive every day. That plan is a five-year one. They said I pay for three, the last two is free. It runs me $78 a month. I had to have 200 miles within the three months, which I said, “Okay, I can probably get 200 miles on a car in three months.” But the other one they offered me was I needed a lot of miles. I said, “Honey, I don’t plan on driving the car like that.” I have other cars to drive.

I went to get my oil changed yesterday. I was thinking that my insurance was gonna cover it but they only cover $50 of it. The oil change was going to be $177. I never did it because I thought it was free. The way the representative explained the coverage was not that good. The verification could have been handled better. It was like a false advertisement. Purchasing the extended coverage from Endurance was painless and very easy. The reps seemed to know what they were taking about. It was informative and brief the way that the rep explained the coverage. It would be good if their claims offices are open on the weekend just like dealerships are and other service centers. We had a claim which we had to call from the dealer on a Saturday and nobody was there. Monday was a federal holiday. By Friday, everyone's back in town and getting things done. They give you five business days. If they give me five days to submit it, I would have expected a response within five business days. Because if they can limit me to five days, they should limit themselves to five days.
I spent nearly an hour on the phone just to get an email address and that was frustrating. Waiting in queue was 47 minutes. I wish there’s an email address to submit your claim and a fax number on the website and in the communication of where you can go. I liked Endurance's level of coverage. It is better than what we currently have. One thing we did like about that plan is it does offer oil changes and search which the other plans don't do. The initial rep I dealt with was pretty good. The secondary reps that they had to send this to were a little bit pushy, but we had already decided based on the initial rep that we were going to go with the service. If we were on the fence, we may not have picked them based on the secondary reps. Listening more to the client would be the key thing. If the second rep would have listened more, he would have understood that we were already essentially sold. We were already going with the product. We were just asking for them to kind of work with us on some things, and then he kind of wanted to resell us on why this was a great buy and why it was unnecessary for him to do what we had requested.
It was kind of bizarre because he went on a really hard pitch, and it was a totally unnecessary thing. The question we had was just kind of, “Did you adjust the down payment?” It was a simple yes or no. In the end, they were unable to make an adjustment to the down payment. That was fine. If that's all you could do, you just say yes or no. Because we are already sold, we still went with the product. That wasn't make or break for us but we didn't need to get a whole 15-minute lecture on why. If they didn't have a good product, I simply would have just ended the call. If the first guy hadn't done a good job of selling the product, they would have lost us with the second guy.

Once Volkswagen told the Endurance people the price, they said that it wasn't covered under the type of warranty that I got.
When I reached out to Endurance in the beginning, the guy ran through all of the packages and he said that he was giving me the best package that he had. Purchasing the warranty from Endurance was smooth. The gentleman explained things well and it was very easy to set up the payment plan. It’s already in my Auto Pay. But the explanation of the down payment could be a little better. There were two reps and when I was transferred over to the second rep, he told me that I was going to be charged a greater amount a week after or I was going to be charged for something a week after and then that same day as well. I wasn't counting on that. I thought it was just the 109 and then a monthly fee after that for however many months. But it was the 109 and another 109 a week later. It was an activation fee or whatever it was, and I thought that was included already in the initial 109. The only confusion there was the explanation of that but it is what it is.

No insurance company wants to pay a claim that somebody brings up, especially when it’s a very expensive claim. Everything Endurance covers is up to $10,000, and my claim is in excess of $10,000. $10,000 doesn’t cover the whole fix, which is unfortunate, because it is a mechanical issue. It’s not a body issue, it’s a mechanical issue, because the truck is a diesel. I've been fortunate enough to have the best case on this worst case scenario. Of course, nobody wants to come out of pocket with $11,000 to fix their truck. But so far, Endurance has been nice and helpful. I've had to get all the information I needed to get everything done. I’m just waiting on them to get back with me. Hopefully, fortune will be on my side and they will cover my repairs.

When signing up with Endurance, the original person I started with was not very friendly but after that, the additional people I spoke to were very helpful. I was told that I had to wait for Endurance to be fully functional, which I did. After a couple of phone calls, I went to Toyota but they gave me a hard time so I left and didn't have the work done. They didn't believe I had Endurance and wanted to see paperwork, which I couldn't find at that moment. Then, I contacted other companies. They didn't want to use any outside company or they wanted me to bill Endurance after, so I went to a fourth place and had an appointment. But I went back to the third place who could do the work sooner. The first time, the guy said that he didn't deal with Endurance. The second time, he said he would deal with Endurance and I had a positive experience.
I just used the service two weeks ago and the mechanic gave me a bill for his portion, and he told me that he took care of the other stuff that Endurance covered. But I need to call customer service to get a copy of what Endurance actually covered so I am clear, so I can continue to evaluate that I've made a good decision. So far, I am satisfied that I made an excellent decision having a warranty, being a woman with health issues and an older car. Also, I plan to travel. In my experience so far, Endurance is a very good company to have and I am going to be acquiring a business vehicle and we'll have that covered with Endurance after I investigate this experience cost-wise.

Endurance told me that it was pre-existing when I had no idea about that. So, I would not recommend them. They're not one that wants to work with you at all. I didn't realize that Endurance has to have pre-authorization before you get an oil change. I got oil changes, paid cash and then I realized that I had it covered under my policy. When I contacted the representatives, they said that it would not be reimbursed because I had already paid out of pocket. They could have been a little lenient on me since I was a brand new customer and I had not received the policy yet but they were not.
Another thing was when I took the vehicle to get an oil change, the mechanic suggested something that needed to be done. I got to Nissan and we were on hold for two hours trying to get authorization. I got home and got back on the phone and I was on the phone again for another 75 minutes. I finally got to someone and she said that I had to go back to the dealer. The mechanic would have to call. I went back to Nissan. We called and we were on the call for another 35 minutes. The Nissan dealer said he couldn't hold that long, which was understandable. He had a job and he had to cater to other customers also. So I waited. I was there for almost four hours. It was too much. I came home and canceled the policy. So, I'm no longer with Endurance. The monthly payments are convenient, and it was a better policy with more coverage in terms of miles and years.
Verbally, they laid out the claims process very well. It was consistent with what I read. A young lady walked me through it, and then indicated that I could look at the document itself on the Endurance website. I went right through it and it was everything she stated. Endurance had some pretty good reviews, and the best is they had some additional coverages that some of the other extended warranties didn't. They paid for the maintenance. It's a pretty good warranty, so that's why I went with them. I was impressed by how much they covered. The price was about 4000. Endurance was great. I liked everybody. They were professional and didn't overcall me many times which one place did. They weren't a hard sell. That is often what pushes people away, and it did for the other one I was considering. Endurance answered my questions and helped me figure out what made sense for me. I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting the cheapest thing. I had a good deal on the car, so it didn't make sense to pay too much in this. So we figured that's what made sense. And I appreciated that a lot. I felt listened to and I was able to double-check what they were saying, which were both nice. I would rate Endurance at the top as far as how their professionalism was.

My wife and I took a trip to Pennsylvania and we stayed over in Washington, D.C.. I was messing around and making a turn and hit a curve and bust my rear tire. I didn't realize it then. But the next morning when we checked out and the valet brought the car to us, the back tire was flat. I called Endurance and the vehicle was towed to a tire's place. I was able to purchase a brand new tire and get back on the road. I'm glad I had Endurance because I would have been stuck. They came through for me. They stayed in touch with me and made sure everything was good. I really appreciated that. I have the confidence knowing that if I have a problem or issue with my car, I can call Endurance and I ain't got to worry about it.

The customer service repast Endurance did a good job of explaining the coverage. I worked with two different individuals and both of them were very knowledgeable and helpful.

I had a very good experience with the guy I talked to. He was a certified person and he gave me such a good deal, I couldn't turn it down. He explained to me every bolt, nut and washer, gasket was covered, and that was enough for me. If my car ever breaks down, which I don't think it ever will, I'd like to have a company that is reputable, and I want everything covered. This company did it. The only thing is I asked them to mail the information to me and I haven't received any paperwork yet.

I put my car in a shop and had to pay two grand to get it out. I asked the guy who they would recommend so they gave me a couple of people. Endurance was my first call and I went with it because I didn't have any type of warranty. The rep was awesome and explained everything detailed. I ended up with bumper to bumper for one vehicle and the 100,000 miles limit warranty for the other one.
