I called Endurance and they were the cheapest one. I don’t have a job job, so it also helped me as far as the down payment. I didn't have to pay all of it that day. I paid half, then half the next week. I heard the reps say that they would mail me my policy. But when I made my payment, the guy said that they emailed it. And I said I was looking for it because the guy told me that they would mail it to me. I have no way of printing it out so I would like to have copies of my stuff. Other than that, the reps explained everything and answered the questions I had at the time.

I pulled up Endurance online, called and got a quote. I liked the service level and the price. I went with the policy that they have. Also, the rep was very knowledgeable. If I had any questions, he answered them. This type of coverage can be beneficial for a lot of people. It doesn't have to be a classic car. It can be a new car. Going for an extended warranty on top of the warranty that they already have. Like me, I already have a car and I just added the extra protection.

Endurance had the highest marks and better reputation. That was one of the main reasons I went with them and another reason was the sales guy was not pushy. However, it can be confusing to have so many different choices. It might be good for some people that can only afford a certain amount. But if there's a way of giving the best package with the best price, that's probably one of the best things that Endurance could do.

The first person I spoke with at Endurance was very honest and said they weren't the cheapest but they were rated one of the best. I didn't choose them and bought CarShield instead. But when I read their contract, I wasn’t too happy with it so I called Endurance back. The second person I spoke with was just as nice. I decided to go with them because their policy was more of a bumper-to-bumper type. I normally don't keep the car outside its original factory warranty. But this is my fourth Tahoe in a row and I swore I wouldn't buy another one, so an extended warranty was the next best thing to get. So far so good. I'm very satisfied.

Endurance had the best coverage and the rate was decent. The initial call was not a great call. I was not going to go with the company, but then the person who called me to follow up really explained things, and gave me an opportunity to see some of the stuff in writing. The first call was kind of like, “No, you need to decide today.” I was like, “Well, I don't like to make rash decisions. I need to kind of see something in writing.” But the second agent was really good and emailed me some information about the policy.

Stay away from Endurance (CAVEAT EMPTOR). You will pay but they don’t deliver. When discussing the policy I asked about specific items they would cover. The supervisor said yes they will cover these items. I filed my first claim and they didn’t honor their end of the deal. Then customer service rep was rude and condescending. I ask to cancel my policy. That's when things took a bad turn. Wow. I never had such a disrespectful conversation in my life. I beg to have the policy cancel and he also refused to transfer me to manager. I asked to stop with the sales pitch about 4 times. Stay away from them!!!!

I felt like the lady that I spoke with was a little pushy. I was kind of in a bind financially and I called just trying to get information. But she said if I signed up that day, I can save a certain amount. I didn’t have it that day to sign up and I kept trying to explain that. But other than that, I thought she was great. Also, I was extremely pleased with the plans offered.

Back in 2019, I was referred to this company by my dealership since my manufacturer warranty had ran out so I bought approximately $2,400 for Powertrain coverage. They offered a monthly payment plan but, I pretty much paid the full amount off in 3 months. Fast forward to current day, September 2021, in which I am currently in need of a transmission replacement. Mind you, when I bought the coverage, I assumed Endurance would be handling my claim but, I found out they have nothing to do with you after you purchase the coverage.
All claims are handled by a company called SmartAutoCare. Now I am currently going through hell trying to get my transmission replacement covered because I was told that the transmission fluid should have been changed out every 30k miles. That is in fact true, if you live in the state of California which is stated in my maintenance book. The problem I have is that I don't live in California, I live in Delaware so those rules don't apply to me.
Now for the past 5 years that I've owned my vehicle, I regularly get it serviced before the scheduled times and I always listen to the suggestions of the service department anytime they tell me something needs addressed by having them do it at that time, or asap if I don't have the funds right then. At no point, did I ever have on any of my multi-point inspections or detailed documents that my transmission fluid needed to be changed out so how would I know if I was never told and if my inspection reports were marked N/A or OK. After advising the claims adjuster of this, he asked me to send all of my maintenance history information and I provided all of the documentation in eight different emails which he claims to never have received even though I replied directly to his emails and have the printouts of said emails.
I really feel like it is their way of trying to find any reason not to cover my claim since it is my transmission. Every time I tried to reach back out to Endurance for any type of help with this, they automatically tell me there's nothing they can do although the contract is listed under their name. I feel that it is very deceptive of them to go through an entire conversation with a new customer, advise them of how good "their" warranty is when they don't even own it, SmartAutoCare does. What they should be telling customers is that they just sell the contracts for SmartAutoCare because if you ever have to file a claim, that is the company that will deal with your policy, not Endurance.
Once Endurance gets your money, they want nothing else to do with you. As far as the contract is concerned, I would suggest having an attorney look at it prior to purchasing if you do decide to go that route because the wording they use is confusing for a reason and that is to deceive people. I strongly advise to stay far away from this company and find a better option if you can.

Endurance offered a little bit more miles than the other companies I talked to for the price. I liked the maintenance package as well for oil changes and replacement of lost keys, and just general things like those that were included in the package for the premium. Overall, it's a bit better deal for the money. I called three companies and I didn't make any decisions. They didn't call back and they were high pressure. I didn't call them back until probably two and a half weeks later. Usually, they change hands. Some companies don't know what I was talking about. Endurance picked right up and knew exactly what I needed. It was like I hadn't even skipped a beat. So, as far as handoff from one representative to the next, they did a really good job.

I inquired online by putting in my vehicle's information and hit okay, two seconds later they call me, thinking we have a live one here. So the sales lady tells me why they are the best and then asks me a few questions to make sure my 2020 "qualify " for their VSC. Wouldn't you know it I do, and not just any coverage, but the top of tne line Advantage package with all the bells and whistles. After explaining everything to me, and I am reading the sample contract online, I ask so when I get parts replaced are the OEM, remanufactured, or even parts from a junk yard. She said that they are all new parts. Well I have to give it to her, they will be new parts to my vehicle, but they can come from the junkyard at the discretion of the administrator.
So okay, I let that little lie go, next we are on to the cost. So today, and, this very call only, I can get a $200 off of tne administration fee of $440. But I have to commit right now, no calling back later, the deal is gone. Then I ask the cost. So I dont know about you, but you should never buy ANYTHING based solely on payments, what did she do? "Sir, you can have this Advantage package for $118 for 36 months, does this fit into your budget?" Well I grab the calculator and this is $4,248. Boom, sounds better at $118 right? That is why they do it. So with the addition administration fee of $240 due at the time of the call we are at $4,488 for this plan. I told her I needed to think about it, so I could compare to other plans and was told that when I call back the price will go up by $200.
So, warning, if you are looking be prepared to give them your money for junkyard parts or better as determined by the administrator and after reading the contract they will only allow 60% of NADA of your vehicle's value at the time of the repairs, and as others have stated, they will pay what they think the market price should be so you may be left with additional out of pocket costs. My advice is to educate yourself by researching consumer advocates such as the homework guy, Kevin **. He has tons of consumer advice on his YouTube channel and see if there is a better way for you to save that hard earned cash. Good luck and focus on total cost not those monthly payments first.

My dealer said that they took Endurance but not CarShield, so I called Endurance right away and requested an extended warranty program. They set me up with a program and I went ahead and took it. Customer service was good. But after I looked at their programs, it seemed I was better insured with CarShield. CarShield covers bumper-to-bumper and it's not exclusive. With Endurance, I was led to believe they were going to cover everything but when I got the paperwork, there were multiple exclusions. I have a very nice 2016 Chevrolet Traverse LT with the premium package and it's extremely accessorized. It has a premium package on it. Endurance didn't cover some of the things that were in my car and those would be very expensive to replace. I want to cancel with Endurance.

The Endurance agent that I talked to was a nice lady. She was way more informative explaining everything that the warranty covered and didn't than other companies. She explained the three different policies to me and I chose the middle one, just because it covered the main components, and it had a lot of extra ones that one of the other policies didn't have. I didn't want like a factory warranty because it's not a new car, but I didn't want the lowest either. I spent probably half an hour talking to her. And she explained what it would take to get it started that day, and we set it up on automatic withdrawal out of my bank account, and that would work. I was totally pleased.

However, the pricing could have been broke down. I had to ask him what my monthly amount was. He was quick about it. And I understand why. Because people like to change their mind. He rolled through that quick. He said it was two something and I didn't catch that part. And then when I got my bank statement, it was 190 for this and another $20 and whatever for whatever. They were pretty good on answering all my questions and concerns with the different policies. When I signed up with them, they offered me the tire rotation and repairs for one year. I liked the part where instead of me cancelling my warranty trying to get money back from the insurance company and then starting this one new, the Endurance rep extended the warranty we have now so it will end in March, and then Endurance will cover from then on. But I have some issues that weren't discussed and I have to call them back. On the payment plan, I thought I was gonna pay it but they ended up sending me a letter saying they're gonna automatically take it out of my account. Most mechanics don't not want to deal with extended car warranties because of the steps and time it takes to get paid direct. In my situation in a case of emergency there is a provision that they had that says if you call and they are closed then you can pay and you will be reimbursed. They close down after 6pm est and are closed on weekends. I paid 425$. Was on phone with claims adjuster for 30 mins and was assured I was getting a reimbursement check for 325$ min 100$ deductible. Waited the 15-20 business days, no check. When I call after 25 business day they say it was denied, no phone call, no email, nothing. My Audi mechanic called United Car Care for me, stating that my engine was consuming oil and the compression in cylinder 3 was using 60% of my oil which is ultimately ruining my engine. The United Car Care inspector told Audi that the engine would need to be torn down for him to see what was the cause of the fault. I emailed the person and he called me back stating the process of getting the claim approved is to tear down the engine. I authorized Audi to do this, because G. ** told me that was the net step in the process. After the engine was torn down, G. ** came back out, and almost instantaneously sent an email denying the claim, since it was a consumption claim.
I contacted United Car Care and spoke with a person named Kevin. Kevin said "well the claim was denied because consumption is not covered, and the claim was presented to us as consumption" to which I asked "then why did your adjuster insist I tear down the engine then if he already knew it was consumption and that consumption is not covered?"
That was on 9-8-21 at 4:04 pm and I was advised by Kevin that he "would see what he could do." So I have spent over $4000.00 on a warranty, which I have never filed a claim on my car until now, and it is immediately denied after they cause me to have to pay $6000.00 for a teardown of my engine so they can knowingly deny the claim due to uncovered consumption claim. The worst, and this was purchased through Endurance Warranty, with the insurance being Mepco. A complete scam and waste of money. Endurance was the first one to call me back. I googled them, and they seem to be the most comprehensive plan. Their reps were a little slow to answer my questions at first. The biggest question I have, and I still don't have an absolute answer to it, is when I got the booklet explaining what is covered, and I was very clear that this was a 650i convertible, and in the verbiage of what is covered section, it says that the convertible tops are not covered. What I believe right now is that the mechanical part of the top is covered, but that the actual roof material is not. Nobody's ever really answered that question for me.

I went ahead and spoke with Endurance and they gave me a good deal. The rep was very informative and told me everything that was covered. I was very easily sold. I like that they offer all of the services that they offer, and I like the service reps. Even after I spoke with one service rep, I have to speak with another one to confirm information. And they were professional and very knowledgeable. They guaranteed a lot of the services that are offered. Just pretty much everything where I have a car where I know that, even when it comes to oil changes, key fobs, brakes, engine, transmission, anything that happens, I definitely was sold when I was like, "Oh, yeah, that takes away a lot of my worries."
The fact that, even if the car goes into the shop for major repair, I get at least a five-day rental. If I lose my keys, they cover me. I've lost my keys and had to call a locksmith. I've had to pay the $400 to have it replaced. It just relieves everything because it's like, "Wow." I just did an oil change yesterday. The car was saying to give it an oil change or it was saying give it an oil change soon. Things like that give me anxiety when if the check engine light is on or there's an issue, I can't because I need a reliable car. Although, I know the vehicle has a lot of miles, it is very reliable. It's a good ride, it rides good, it performs well. But I like the security and the protection that Endurance offered, which is why I went with the company. Because everything that they were saying, I've probably experienced.
Before this Ford Fusion was the Chevy Malibu and I had expired my miles for my warranty. I bought it brand-new from the dealership and I went to my miles. I've owned the car for a few years now, but I was way out of my warranty and the transmission went on me. The transmission was 33-something. That was something I wasn't prepared for. There wasn't even a warning, there wasn't anything for me to say, "Hey, okay." So, I had to park the vehicle. I was paying for a rental and I have to save up the money for because I needed a car. I don't want to be in that situation again because paying for a rental every week was a lot.
I feel much more comfortable and secure now that I have this warranty. I've bought brand-new cars off the lot. When you have that warranty, something goes wrong, you're worry-free. You take it to the dealer here, you fix it, whatever is wrong, whatever was defective, they fix it for you. Great, you go on about your day. I like the $100 deductible because it's not like I got to come up with $1,000. I liked everything about it in comparison to other situations in life. I like this and I'm gonna go with it. The guy was very adamant. He wanted me as a customer and he did everything in his power to make sure that I was satisfied with my warranty.
I have definitely been telling all of my friends, "Hey, have you heard of these companies and do they work or am I wasting my money? Are they really gonna cover my car or am I wasting my money?" Some companies offer you things. And one thing that I liked was the rep was very clear that it is not a reimbursement. I take it to the dealership, the dealership deals with Endurance, Endurance pays them, and it has nothing to do with me. I just pay my deductible. I am looking forward to seeing if this is really for real.

It took a week and a half to get signed up due to the price changing all the time. So that left me a little uneasy. When I initially called, I had a gentleman tell me it was X amount of dollars. Shortly after that, another person called me back and told me, "It was this amount." Those were two different prices. Finally, the last day out, they kept calling and calling, and I told them exactly how I felt. It was like they threw my name out in a Rolodex and they got every person calling. The vehicle is in my name and it's only in there like that because I have to have commercial insurance on it. My vehicle had been technically totaled by hailstorm five years ago a few months after I bought it. There's nothing mechanically wrong with it, it's just dented. But the cost repair of the damage would be more than the value of the vehicle and none of the other agencies were willing to take the car under those conditions. Endurance had a slightly higher rate to take it and they said if I get it cleared out with the insurance and get it off of the total aspect, then they would lower the rate. They were willing to work with me and I also liked the plan that they offered. I got a three-year plan instead of a four-year plan, and my car is covered for six years. So, the longer rate is much better than just going for something that you're paying every month for. With this one, you can quit but don't do it right before your three years because you lose the extra three years. And overall, the cost would be cheaper than the others.
The person I spoke with was knowledgeable as to sales, but he was not pushy. I purchased an Endurance Extended Warranty Repair plan over a year ago, for my 2006 Chevy Colorado. I have been spending almost $70 a month since that point in time. My truck has been extremely dependable over the years since I purchased it, but I was worried that if a major repair was needed, I wouldn't be able to afford the repair costs. I went with Endurance because I was "PROMISED" that if my vehicle ran into any issues, they would pay the repair cost, up to what my truck's current Bluebook value. Which is around $4000. For the first time yesterday, I actually needed to use the insurance. I needed a new ignition switch and a new battery. The total costs were around $700. The repair shop spent hours on the phone with Endurance, trying to fill out the seemingly endless paperwork necessary. After all was said and done, Endurance paid around $250. That was it!!!!
What they don't tell you, is that they don't cover the actual cost of the repairs. They have a stupid, limited system setup which tells them how much the repair should cost (According To Who, It's Definitely Not The Actual Experts!). So if you get a price from 10 different repair shops and they all say it will be around $700 for this type of repair, but the Endurance's severally limited system says it should only be $250, they will give you $250 towards the repair. Endurance isn't an expert, but they act like one when when it comes to the price of the repair. I was royally screwed over by Endurance, simply because I trusted them to live up to their word and value our agreement together. Had I just taken the $70 a month and put it into a savings account, I would have had over $1500 in it now. More then enough to pay for the repair and I would still have money left over.
My suggestion, set up a savings account and never, ever get involved with a criminal enterprise like Endurance or any of these scam warranty companies! They are all the same. They will steal your money and when you actually need help, they will leave you in ruins! Imagine if I had been paying for this for the last 16 years of my ownership?! I would have wasted $13,440 on these criminals and I would have only gotten $250 in repairs! Please trust me, Endurance is a company run by criminals! Do not give them a dime!! Literally they are not even with 1 cent of your time and money!!! They will make you every promise in the world, but they will never honor their word.
Oh and I can see that Endurance must hire a lot of Bots and fake review writers, because every valid negative consumer rating seems to be pushed way down the lists, while very generic fake positive reviews are pushed to the top. Endurance isn't even able to act in an honorable way when it comes to their reviews! Where do their criminal tendencies end?!

Then, when she switched me over to another lady, the other lady proceeded to tell me that they were going to need the $100 deposit right at that moment and in two weeks, I had to pay another $123 deposit. I was really disappointed because the first lady didn't tell me about the other $123 deposit. When I mentioned that to the second lady, she was rude to me and said that everybody makes mistakes. Other than that, I was told that my policy covered everything including the electrical. But I haven't received any type of policy yet. They told me that I only had to pay $106 a month for three years, but the car would be covered for seven, and I thought that was a good deal.

When I talked to Lawrence, I wasn’t financially able to pay the down payment at that time. The guy remembered me, and he had set up a later date. He even held my information on the side until I was able to get back to him. We went through everything, and we made the down payment. He said that I had the same policy that we had discussed over the phone, and everything was the same. Everything went great. He was helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Also, he gave me his number. He was very nice. He said, “Call me right here if you need to talk to me about anything, or there’s something you need to know.” And once he did that, I told my wife I would go with this and she agreed we would go with them. I called Endurance and their rep told me that they had a program. It's 30 days and 200 miles before the policy kicks in. That sold me. That's honesty where they tell the customer everything they need to know before they know. I was a lineman and I was a service rep. If I went to somebody's house and putting in a new underground service on, I would tell the people everything that needed to be done and I answered all their questions before they asked them. That's how I deal and that's why I chose Endurance.
Another thing is Endurance covers my engine, transmission, and electrical system. The rep explained that if for six months I get a tire that’s blown out, Endurance would cover that. So far, I haven't used my policy yet. On the whole, my extended warranty covers a lot more but I'm paying less. A friend of mine owns a Mercedes and he was looking for a new warranty. They worked to even get me an extra $20 off per month. So, that's good. The prices were reasonable and aside from windshield wiper blades and brake pads, everything's covered. So, I'm not so worried anymore if something goes wrong with the car. My deductible is only $100, which is more than fair. So, I am very satisfied. I was only on the phone with the rep for not even a half an hour before we got everything taken care of. There was no run-around so it was great. It was a smooth process. I've been recommending Endurance to a few friends of mine who also have used cars. Their warranties are up. I did some additional research online and it turned out that Endurance manages their own policies as opposed to being just the company that sells the policy, collects the commission, and then hands it off to somebody else who manages it. That was a big factor to my decision. They also had the highest consumer approval rating and they offered a one year included, where it was effectively a bumper-to-bumper warranty for the first year. I asked if I could extend that, and they said there was no option for that at this time.
However, they also said that at the end of the year, they would come back to me and say, "Would I like to extend it?" That was a little confusing. I was like, “So after a year, you'll let me extend it?” It might be them figuring out whether or not my car is a problem and an expense. Apart from that, I paid for the policy in full. They extended to me a discount of 400 bucks for the whole policy (it's three years, 50,000 miles), so I was happy about that. Ultimately though, the proof is in the pudding. It's an extended warranty, but there are so many players out there that are horrible. I hope they are not one of them.

An extended warranty is very important because you don't want your car to break down. In today's market, everything costs more than it used to. Getting an alternator fixed is no longer a $300 job and you can no longer do it in your garage because everything is so high-tech. You need to take it to a professional repairman to get it fixed and that could be very costly. I got Endurance and the purchasing process was great. Their price was lower than what I was paying with the extended warranty I had before and more things were covered. The one I had before was trying to get me to pay $150 a month and they only went up to 40 with 36 months. I've had my car longer than that.

When I went online to check, I saw the best extended warranty companies and it was from the Consumer Affairs website. Endurance was listed as number one, and the website allowed me to compare Endurance and the three other companies that they talked about. Endurance seemed to be the best one, so I chose them and the guy that I talked to was wonderful. He had a calming voice and he answered all of my questions. The initial call was nice, but when I had to be referred to the confirmation person that says, "This is where you pay, this is what you're getting", I was quoted something totally different from what the initial guy told me. When I said, "No. I was told it would be $100 deductible," the confirmation person said, "Let me check on it."
Another person came on the phone and I asked, "Okay. Well, who are you?" She goes, "I'm the supervisor. The person that you spoke to initially must have misspoke." I said, "Well, ma'am, that's the problem.” I've been in customer service and management for years. I was even a manager for a car sales division. If someone makes a mistake, they gotta eat it. They made their quote. That was their commitment and they just can't come back and say, "I'm sorry." It felt like a bait and switch, so I was very upset. The supervisor said, "I can give you a discount." "No. That's not gonna work. I need to get the quote that I was given." I said, "You know what, never mind. Just give me your corporate number and I’ll call to complain." I felt like I was being handled.
I know a lot of people would have just said, "Okay. He made a mistake." I'm sorry if he made a mistake, but I shouldn't have to eat his mistake. After thinking again, I was about to do corporate, and I called Endurance back and was referred to somebody that could handle issues. The person I got on the phone completely understood and she took a few minutes to do another quote that benefited my dispute. It was definitely more than the $100 that I was trying to get, but the way she did it, she made the plan a lot cheaper and the monthly payments cheaper. In essence, I was getting more than the $100 that I was disputing, so I decided to go with it. However, I was still not happy about the initial call and I said that to Endurance, "How often do you get someone to quote something, and then they get on the phone with the confirmation department, and you're told something different? And then what?" I don't like that kind of stuff.
I got the plan information a few days ago, and I read it. I remembered the guy telling me that it would be a 30-day wait before the plan kicks in, but the information said 30 days and 1,000 miles. I was like, “What?” That was not what I was quoted. I haven't been feeling too well, so I haven't called Endurance, but I was gonna call them today after coming back from my doctor's appointment to say to them, “I hope we can listen to that recording message. The guy did not say anything about 30 days and 1,000 miles.” I don't know how long I would have to drive in order for my plan to kick in. To me, that doesn't sound good.
I was also going to contact CarShield today to get a quote from them to see what their policy is and call Endurance. If CarShield's plan is better, I’m gonna cancel Endurance and see how easy it is to just cancel the plan. A 30-day wait is somewhat understandable, but 30 days and 1,000 miles? I'm disabled, I'm home all the time and I barely drive my car. I drive it only when it's absolutely necessary. If the guy told me that originally, I would not have taken the plan. That would have stood out to me immediately.
