I signed up over the phone. And the rep told me what my car qualifies for as far as coverage goes. The package that she offered was the one that I went with that had the most coverage. I wanted the engine to be covered and different ancillary things. She said that for the year of my car, because it's a 2011, that was the max coverage that I could get. We did the deal with Endurance in half an hour. It was easy to sign up for the down payment. So, that was cool.

I called to get coverage on the vehicle I was purchasing from the dealership. I spoke to several people and they all provided me with great service. They all listened to my concerns and recommended a policy that was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend Endurance to anyone looking to protect their vehicle.

I liked that Endurance did the oil changes and it was a little misconception in there, but I thought that they replace two tires a year and all the things that they were supposed to replace. The guy that I initially talked to said, “We cover oil changes. You get two tires per year.” There was something else he told me that they did. I was like, "Oh, okay. Cool. I'll go with this one." So, the oil changes are being covered. He never told me that they have to come out and inspect your car. So, when something went wrong in my car, the guy was like, "Oh, well, you got to leave the car for them to inspect." I was like, "What? So you've had it all day for you to figure out what's wrong with it." I needed to leave it for another day for them to come out and inspect it. Because by the time they finished it, it was late afternoon and nobody was coming out until the next morning.
So, I was like, "Oh, well, then you need to tell them that you need to pick me up from home, take me to work because nobody ever said that." A rental was provided the first time because they needed to get the car for about four days. The first time, the dealership told me that Endurance provided the rental but the dealership ended up having to provide that. I don't know if that was covered under the warranty part because they didn't tell me that. Then, the one time I called about the tire situation, they were like, "Oh, well, maybe there was a misunderstanding. But you only get two tires a year if your car breaks down on the side of the road and your tire goes flat." I was like, "So you're telling me that my car needs to break down on the side of the road and you will pay for the tire?" "Well, it depends on the tire." I said, "Okay. So if I got $160 tires on my car, you need to replace the $160 tires on my car." The rep said, "No. We don't do that, though."
I said, "No, you need to put the same tire that's on the car because that's what I'm gonna do. I'm not gonna go and get a Walmart tire when I went to a dealership and got these tires. I'm sorry. That's not gonna happen." I'm not gonna let my tires get to the point where I'm on the side of the road waiting on them or my roadside assistance to come to pick me up. So, I just bought all brand-new tires because I was under the impression that they pay for two.
I’ve had some work done to the car, and they did cover it but it had to be in two separate sections because for whatever reason, the dealership told me that Endurance wouldn't cover everything at one time. So, it would have to be two separate appointments. I told them I was not understanding that because now it's more time without my car.
They didn't even fix the second part that was wrong with my car. They said they don't cover it. I was like, "Wait a minute. Are you kidding me?" Initially, when we talked to them in the beginning, they covered the part. When I called them, I said, "So you don't cover this?" The guy was like, "Nobody covers that." I said, "I'm sorry. I'm not asking about the other people. I'm asking about Endurance. Because I was under the impression there was nothing that wasn't covered other than the catalytic converter. That's what the guy told me on the phone. That was it.”

Endurance has been great. My check engine light came on. I dropped the car off at the dealership and what came back was there was something wrong with the transmission and it would need a transmission valve body. I was without my vehicle for 11 days and I wasn't compensated for being without my vehicle, but, overall, I was very satisfied. It proves worthy to have a good car warranty because you never know when your car's gonna break down, and I would recommend Endurance highly to anybody.

I love Endurance. They've always had my back. It's just they don't cover Teslas but for the Camry, it was great. Also, it's great overall with customer service. We had a problem with the alternator and something with the clutch. So, we put a claim in, and then we put the 100 down regarding those issues, and then Endurance paid for the parts and the labor. We saved 1,000-plus with that issue which was unexpected. We came out fixing other issues on top of that and only came out spending about 400, which is a lot more reasonable. Getting Endurance is a great idea and I would highly recommend it. I've had multiple claims and they haven't tried to get out of a situation that was on contract. They do what they're supposed to do.

My rack-and-steering went out and Endurance fixed it with no problem. Everything went so smoothly. But the part only lasted a couple of months and it broke but it was still under the vendor's warranty. When I contacted Endurance, they said they did their part and the vendor is obligated to do everything because it was still under warranty, which was completely understandable. But where things went left is because the vendor was out of stock of the part so they couldn’t provide it. They refunded the money to Endurance so Endurance could provide it and that's where the fight began. Endurance took the refund but they wouldn't give me the part. I was out of a car for months and I had to spend a whole bunch of money on transportation back and forth to work. It was a stressful situation.
I was gonna close my account with them over it but when I spoke to the specialist that was going to close out my account, she asked if I was willing to give her a 48-hour window just to give her one last chance to see what she could do. She winded up going as she could on the top of the food chain and they got the part for me. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be with Endurance anymore.

In the beginning, it seemed that Endurance offered a lot of coverage. But now that I'm having to use it, it's like, "Oh no, we don't do that" or "You can only do that within the first six months" or "You can only do this within the first year". That was not confirmed with me and I don't like that part of the warranty. Everything is slowing down and now I'm having to worry about what they cover and what they don't. Even when I lost my keys and the warranty protected the key fob, it never covered that. It also never ended up covering my tires. It was very confusing to me.
The warranty has helped but do your homework with it. Today, I had to take my car in for something and I called them to make sure of the different coverages. I didn't want to be paying a deductible for something that wasn't even as big as the deductible. The rep was very rude about it. I had a three-way with the dealership and she was rude to the dealership rep as well.

I pulled up Endurance on Google and saw that they were pretty reputable through other forums. People were posting with real user reviews. I ended up going with them because my factory extended warranty expired. Setting up the program was easy. The guy I dealt with was very good and I would definitely deal with him again.
I had a claim for a water pump on my 2011 Jeep Liberty and that was easy. They approved the claim relatively quickly and they got it paid out to the dealer. On the whole, I don't think that I would probably end up going with Endurance again because it seemed every claim I had after that seemed to get denied. There were certain things within the claim and the contract specifically states what components are covered. The problem is some of those components that are not covered will end up leading to the failure of the ones that aren't covered. It'll end up costing them in the long term anyways. I would have to let my car have more damage to it before the claim would be covered, which I try to prevent, but they wouldn't do it. That was the issue that we've endured with Endurance.
Endurance needs to look at certain things pertaining to their overall operation. We need to look more in-depth at the claims that come in, especially if somebody says, "This component is failing," and "It's not covered." At the end of the day, it may be wise for them to cover that component. Down the road, a typical consumer may say, "I can't afford that outside of the warranty," and Endurance is gonna have to pay off for that component plus the other component. Even though Endurance met the claim requirements and had done what they had to do, they also have to take into account the humanistic standpoint of things. The problem you run into is that when you have those types of claims that come in, they have to look at it overall.
Right-out denial is definitely not in their best interest. It would be in their best interest to examine more what components are there, what could be good, what is not, what should be covered, and what should not be covered. If you have something that's failed and is a single component, deny it. But if you have a component that is basically going to lead to a chain reaction later on of being long-term damage or something like that that can end up leading to them having to pay out more long term, they need to look into that as well. Unless it's the highest tier plan, I'd probably tell people that that it's not in their best interest to do Endurance. With the list of components that are there, it's better to put that money into a savings account of what they would spend for it versus actually having to pay for Endurance.

Having a series of unfortunate events happening like having to buy a new motor and a new transmission for our vehicles, I was like, "You know what? I don't want to have to do this again. So I'm just gonna get insurance on it." Signing up for the Endurance coverage was easy. We had a claim for my husband's truck. We've had a little bit of difficulty. I don't think it was the smoothest experience, but everything worked out in the end.
As far as their reps, they have been really great, but some were not so much. I think the claims department has been the issue from what I can tell from the guy who fixed the vehicle. He said that he got a lot of pushback from claims even though they don't really have mechanical knowledge like he does. When he was trying to explain things, they kind of pushed him off a couple of times. He finally got ahold of someone that was able to listen to him and hear the problems that were going on. Overall, we're very satisfied with Endurance and we'll continue to use them and tell everyone I know about it.

After a week being in the shop they deny the claim I looked at the contract only be disappointed that the variance was supposed to be 4% and bigger they said it 9% bigger. After I went ahead and cancel the contract they said they were disappointed that I would cancel it and they would attach another contract to it that would fix the vehicle with the tires that I bought it with. My experience with Endurance was not as smooth as I would have anticipated. They were replacing my transmission, and they held payment after the car was completed because they needed to get the core. I guess they rebuild these transmissions. So, they needed the core to have been picked up. None of which was arranged by me nor the shop. It was arranged by their vendor. So, it was kind of silly, and that put me out for two days. The core had been scheduled to be picked up two weeks before. Then that was canceled, all of which was done by Endurance's chosen vendor. It was kind of silly on their part to not pay because of fear that the core wasn't going to get back to the vendor and they would get charged for it. I was there for two days. On the first day, for about five hours, I was trying to get the shop to release the car because of their relationship with Endurance, and then get Endurance to send them money.
I fell on deaf ears. I hit a wall. I spoke to the management. They said, "There's nothing we could do." To me, that was really very unhelpful under the circumstances, and from a policy perspective, they'll do whatever they want, but it just doesn't make sense. I was angry at the shop, too. I told the shop manager, "When I brought you the car, you told me you accepted this warranty. So if you accept the warranty, and they already agreed to pay you, what does it make a difference if you get paid right now or if you get paid two days when they pick up the core or whatever the case is? What happens if the core wouldn't have been picked up for a week? Does that mean my car had to sit there for a week?" We went through that whole exercise. At the end of the day, both of them just kind of said it is what it is.

I just left the mechanic’s place to get my vehicle and he said that there were some parts on the engine that he had to fix. The engine didn't come ready for installment like we thought it would. I ended up paying $80 a day for 20-something days of rental and Endurance only paid for five. If anyone asks about Endurance, I'd tell them to make sure upfront that they're gonna cover parts like the engine and the transmission. Endurance Auto Warranty offered a good deal. I'm satisfied with them, but I was under the impression that my vehicles were all covered from top to bottom, but the only one that came to wind that was covered was just the Cadillac. I didn't understand that the Cadillac was less than 80,000, so Endurance was able to cover that. Now, I have a rear main seal that is leaking. The major parts are covered, but the seals were not covered on my GMC and my truck. I was disappointed.
When I got my oil change the first time, I had to pay the bill first for the information that was needed on the bill. So, I paid the bill and I thought I submitted it, but I didn't get reimbursed for it. The second one, the young lady walked me through it and stayed on the telephone with me, and received the bill for the second one. Overall, other than not knowing about the mileage, I'm satisfied with Endurance. Customer service is good. Whenever I call Endurance, they tell me the problem that I'm having. They get to the root of the problem.

I was without a car for a week until I was able to get a rental before Endurance authorized the repairs. But other than that, it went fine. Once I was able to have a loaner vehicle, it went pretty smoothly.

I had the alternator replaced earlier this year through Endurance and it was quick and simple. My last experience with Endurance was pretty good. The claim was for the transmission and they pretty much paid most of the repair. It was simple to call in and get it assessed. My car was back within a week. The only issue I have is that I kind of feel like I'm penalized for using it. I maxed out and then they dropped me.

I’m very upset with Endurance. When I needed some transmission work done and I took it to the Nissan dealer, Endurance brought in their own transmission. It's working, but for how long? This is the only time I've ever made a claim, and they were gonna give me a refurbished? What happened to brand new? I called and told them, “Why are you doing this? Why are you giving me a used?” The rep said, “Because that’s the plan you got.” I said, “What do you mean that's the plan I got?” At the end of the day, the consumer is the one that takes it in, regardless. I’ll never recommend them.

My first repair for my AC compressor was very smooth. The shop gave me a quote and Endurance paid. I had the car back in three days. But my engine went out and it has been treacherous. The rod bearing went out and I needed it fully rebuilt. Endurance didn't cover the full request. They covered 6,000 then I paid the 7,000 out of my pocket. The claim is still not completed.
My vehicle went in on September 21st and we're now going into November and it's still in the shop. Also, communication has not been so good. The shop would provide a quote to Endurance and they would say they didn't have it. They had to call Endurance and tell Endurance the quote over the phone. The quote was also passed off to an underwriter who had to confirm again. There were too many people involved.

The lady that I worked with was able to answer all the questions that I had in reference to Endurance and the different options that were available to me. She explained it in great detail. Endurance's service has been perfect. I needed an air pump changed. The length of time that it took to get the repairs done using the warranty was concerning, but it is what it is. Outside of that, it was good. They answered all my questions, and they gave me a heads-up on what was going on and when the auto inspector was coming out. They're nice on the phone. I spoke with a representative and asked them different things that were covered under the warranty. When I set up for my coverage, he contacted me and gave me the information. I told him I would give him a call back and asked him to email me the stuff. He emailed it to me, and my husband and I looked it over and made a decision. Recently, I had a claim for some pistons in my engine. I brought the car to the Ford service on a Monday, and they contacted Endurance. Endurance told them that they were going to come out and see the car on Wednesday. They did not come and see my car till the following week. It was done almost till the next Wednesday, and I didn't get to see it till then.
At that point, Endurance said they were sending somebody out in 24 hours to check it, but nobody came. Two days into it, I contacted Endurance to see what the problem was. They contacted Ford and asked for my information for my oil changes. The lady said the ones that she was sending, they kept on declining. So I sent her some copies off of mine that I went to the places and got the copy. They accepted those, and to my understanding, they were supposed to make the payment. I'm not satisfied though. They should have never said that they were gonna send someone out to look at the car and take the entire week to come out and do it.
On top of all of that, Endurance charged more than the rent-a-car place. I noticed the rent-a-car place is there for $45 or less. Endurance had their own rates and it was $65 a day for a compact vehicle. I asked them why were they high, and the lady said, "You have to take their rates and they're only paying $30 a day." I had to pay the extra $35 a day. I told them, at that point, I really didn't even need it because I could have just used my own.

For the most part, I did have to make a couple of calls just to find out what the holdup was. Other than that, Endurance covered all except for my $100 deductible. I was very thankful and impressed. The only frustrating part was I had my car towed to my local mechanic, and they wouldn't let him do a diagnostic. So, they made me tow it to the BMW dealership. Then they wouldn't take BMW’s word for it either. They had to send out their own adjuster. I was without a car for about three weeks. They said that they only cover the rental once the repairs are approved. By the time they were approved, BMW had it done already because I had to get it done whether Endurance was paying or not. So, their rental vehicle policy is not very good.

I took my car to the dealer and they found that the compressor wasn't any good. I was assuming that if the compressor isn't good, it's, essentially, the whole air condition system. So, they decided that that was the reason. Along with that, they did a whole diagnostic of the vehicle, and they realized also that one of my engine mounts had collapsed. So, they brought that to me, and then, in turn, brought that to Endurance. Endurance told them what they will or will not pay for within reason, and it went from there. I did pay my deductible and got my car back.
It was important for me to have a company that would cover the extent of the engine because if you're only going to cover certain things for an exorbitant amount of money, then there's no point in me having it. Endurance does. Also, I thought their pricing was reasonable. The enrollment process and just going through the whole process itself were seamless. On top of that, I wanted a company that wasn't going to push me around when I needed them the most and with this being my first claim, it did work. I had Endurance before, and then I went out of the country, and somehow totally forgot. They didn't call me. What they did was send some emails, and I was out of the country. So, it ended up lapsing the first time. Then I had to get them back again. Once I got them going, I felt like it was easy.

I talked to two reps before getting an oil change and both reps told me that I would get a reimbursement for the oil change because that's something that's covered under the maintenance with these packages. I got the oil change but they denied my request. They said that the invoice wasn't written properly. I told the reps that I use Groupon for my oil changes and they both knew what Groupon was. They both said that it would be fine. I just needed to have certain information written on the invoice. I made sure all of those steps were followed but when it went through processing and claims, somebody else who's not familiar with Groupon rejected my reimbursement request.
They cut me off a whole lot when they were communicating. They were just trying to get their point across versus actually listening to me. A couple of other reps said that they would always put in the claim and then they would call me back but I never got that call back nor did anyone reach out to me through email. They could communicate a bit better. But I'm still all right with Endurance. I've used them a couple of times and they seem to pay out well.

I recently purchased a policy back in August of 2022 and it has been an nightmare. So I was told that I would be fully covered and all needed to provide was mileage and vehicle information and had a wait period of 30 days and 1,000 miles. Which they said they would contact me to get the information. So I gave them a guess if the mileage, and was told I would be contacted the same day for exact mileage. Well they never contacted me like they said they would and so I called back to see what the issue was and they again assured me that I would be called. While on the phone I mentioned that the mileage probably wasn’t right on my contract and again gave them a random estimate off the top of my head which was about 139,552.
Well fast forward to October and I have issues with the vehicle and they get to have contacted me to update anything, they tell me I am denied due to incorrect mileage on my policy. Their excuse for not calling me was that I called them and didn’t give them an estimate for example 140,000 miles but instead gave an exact number and they ASSUMED this was correct due to many people not giving estimates with random numbers like that. They also went behind my back to check the CARFAX to try and find out the exact mileage by looking up repairs I had done in the past and taking note of the mileage quoted by the repair shops. So instead of contacting me like they should have back in august they waited until I made a claim to do the work to try their best not to have to cover the repairs. The repair shop mileage ended up being higher than the estimate I had given them so they said this was a “discrepancy in mileage” and denied me.
They also said a certain component of the vehicle was not covered due to certain conditions in the contract but I wasn’t told any of this when I signed up. I was told I had full power train warranty for anything and that I would be contacted to get all correct details of my vehicle. Both were lies. When I told the customer service representative all he kept saying was, "This is unfortunate and we can’t do anything, but cancel and give a refund or restart your policy and you’ll have to pay out of pocket for your current repairs." Total scam. Now I have to pay a tow truck to get my vehicle back to my house which is 180 miles away or pay out of pocket for repairs, and I will probably never see a refund from this scamming company!!! Don’t use Endurance. Try someone else.

I filed a claim to Endurance and it was fine except I didn't know that I had to do another deductible because it was being looked at for something different even though they just had it a week ago. So, I had to pay another deductible. I prefer the car dealership going through Endurance because the car dealership also calls me after talking to them. Then if I had any questions about anything with my policy, I would just call Endurance, and then they will answer any questions.

I was told by the sales guy on the phone he listed about 25 different parts including oil change and brakes and all different parts that would be included. Long story short my Mazda is in the shop for over a month now and they have denied every single thing on my front end to repair a knocking noise. Extremely disappointed with the service I’m already about four or five months into making $150 a month payments and I will never get another service contract and will cancel these people ASAP.

I put my mom's car on Endurance and I tried for 10 days straight to get ahold of them. For the first week, I wanted to ask them a question. On the second week, I was trying to cancel that policy. I was on hold anywhere from a half hour to two hours, and still nobody was coming on to talk to me. So, I never could cancel the policy. I just called my bank and told them to stop payment on this reoccurring monthly charge. That was the second incident.
I have my 2013 Dodge truck insured with them and I had a claim that had something to do with my motor. I needed a new motor, and it took over five months to get anything accomplished and done. The body shop I was working with only gives out a little bit of information instead of, "Hey, this is what you need to do, 1 through 10, then you're done." They should say, "Well, she needs three oil changes." I need to prove that I had three oil changes. I tried to explain to them. I said, "I had two and the place that changes your oil has your records. I've only owned the truck for two oil changes. I don't know what happened prior to that." They weren't satisfied with that. I was like, "Well, how the hell do you want me to get a third oil change when I have not had the truck that long to do a third one?" "Well, you gotta have it." It's hard to work with them. It was awful customer service as far as I'm concerned and my body shop's concerned.

For our recent claim, the things that were repaired were the transmission and a water cooling valve. There was an old transmission with something to do with a transmission pan. There was also a timing belt. We paid our deductible for it. There were some other things that were not covered that we ended up paying for. But, all that stuff was transparent. That claim experience was good. The service advisor did a lot of the legwork. One time, we had to call in and speak with some of Endurance's technical support then linked them up with the dealership, but it was hard to figure out who dropped the ball on it. So we just tried to resolve that by getting both Endurance and the dealership on the phone at the same time.

The service has been better than I thought. I bought a car in February. It had a bit under 100,000 miles on it, so I wanted to make sure to get everything done at 100,000, like my contract said. But the auto repair shop didn't put something on my invoice that they did. Endurance came back to me and wanted to deny a claim because of that, which I understood. At the same time, the shop told me they did this. I jumped through hoops and got the paperwork from the shop and made sure that they got it over to them. But I never knew why Endurance reached out to me specifically as opposed to the shop. I'm sure they have a service record. Outside of the struggles I've had, they're good. They cover things that you would expect them to recover.
Endurance should have the customer send in service reports just because I know what's going on with my car so their customers would feel they're not being put in a position. Because I did. They still cover things. If it's doing what it's supposed to do and you're abiding by the contract, you're covered. That is what has been happening ever since I worked through the last issue I had.

Endurance has been fairly well. They're good in certain ways and they're bad in other ways. They try and protect themselves too much. I've had some transmission problems. My sons got them. And I just bought the vehicle. Between them and the Chevrolet place where they bought it, they didn’t put more than 250 miles. Where they bought it did the warranty with them before they left the Chevrolet dealership. Now, they're having problems between Endurance and Chevrolet. The policy was paid out in cash with Endurance and it all was paid for. So, that's something they're not liking too much.
When you buy a vehicle that’s a 2016 and you leave the yard and the man tells you you're covered as of now with the warranty, and you leave and you come to Montgomery from Tuscaloosa, and you leave and ride around a bit in Montgomery doing normal chores, not even for a week. They didn’t have the truck for a week and something's going wrong with it, and Endurance didn’t wanna stand that they bought the policy from them. They say it's something that happened before.
The way they explained to me the policy was when I bought the policy, that if there was anything wrong with that vehicle before, I didn't know about it, so they would cover. It didn't matter what it was. But now, they told the person I told about my experience with Endurance, to try and get Endurance some more business, they said that because something was wrong with it when they drove off the lot before they bought it, that they wouldn't gonna cover what's wrong with it. So, I said, “Will it go around in circles finding out if that is right?” And I'm sure nobody would think that right, but it's between Endurance and the car dealership.
They did me right on my truck in certain areas, but it had its problems, too. And they did a few things that I didn’t like about it. But they said it was a hose to my air condition that went bad because the Chevrolet garage said so. But it wasn’t a hose. It was some O-ring inside of a steel hose and they wouldn’t cover that. But that was the Chevrolet place in Prattville messed up. The warranty with Endurance ended up messing up my whole compressor.
I talked to the customer service. They're good. They want to renew my policy and all that. I had to cancel it because there were some I didn’t understand with the limited liability on that. When they sell you a policy, the limited liability is only what the value of what they say your car is worth. My truck’s a $10,000 vehicle, but its book value was 3,500. So, that's all they would pay for. So, if I had any more problem after $3,500 or $4,000, it wasn’t more than 4,000, then they wouldn’t allow me for.
In other words, if I still pay the $105 or whatever it was a month, if I had any other breakdowns besides something that was minor, that would have cost maybe $30 or something, or maybe an oil change, they would stuck up to it because I still had the policy. But I didn't end up doing it. I ended up having to cancel the policy because I had no more warranty with the vehicle. So, I'm on my own right now. But it's better than paying $105 like I was doing with it. It's all good, but it's all bad, too.

I called Endurance when I was living in California and the gentleman who signed me up let me know that I couldn't get the coverage when I was in California. But I was getting ready to move to Gulfport, Mississippi at the time, so I ended up getting the service. I had a 30-day wait period, plus $312 deposit and a thousand miles to comply with. But the trip was 2,000 miles from California to Gulfport and I was moving almost within that 30 days. I got here before the 30-day expired and I had the thousand miles, so everything was good.
After I got here, my radiator started to leak. So I took the car in and got that done. Then recently, my transmission started acting up. So I took the car in and ended up getting it replaced with a used transmission. They had some difficulties getting the right transmission so I had a rental car for a month instead of a couple of weeks. When everybody is on the same page, it's okay. I had one repair at Mercedes Benz that cost me $700 because they were only covering so much because of the amount of the hourly fee that the mechanics get. Endurance was covering 135, and their mechanics got 175 or 180. It was high. So, they didn't cover that. But recently, when Endurance came out and looked at the car, the whole thing was approved. They said they had to rebuild the whole transmission. I just wonder if I went to a bigger transmission shop if things would have happened sooner. But I'm done with it and I'm driving. So, everything turned out all right and I just had to pay the $100.
Once things were hashed out, they took care of their end. It cost 4,500 to fix the transmission. They ended up taking care of the whole problem. They took care of the whole problem when everything was in the works and they didn't say, “Well, we're not going to do this or that.” They just signed off on everything. So, I'm happy.

They went ahead and gave me a diagnosis immediately. The bearing failed, so it dislodged and it was rotating, and it damaged the front of the housing. So, it was causing a leak because the seal wouldn't seal anymore. Because of the way the contract is written about gaskets and seals, they weren't going to cover the water pump even though it was not repairable. So they had to send an investigator out. They went ahead and looked at the part and approved it but my vehicle was in the shop for 16 days when it could have been in and out in three.

Then they had the repair shop take it apart and then take pictures of the failed parts. It took them another three weeks at least to decide to pay for only one part. Paid for the rear end and then paid for the other, and we were out $3,500. They didn’t cover the part. They said because the gasket leaked on the transfer case, that they would not cover it. But the problem was with the parts where they couldn't be serviced. They were non-serviceable parts. If I noticed that it has been leaking, if it was a normal part, I could have put fluid in it. But there was no place to put fluid to service it, neither the rear end nor the transfer case.

When you buy the part from GM, it says strut shock. Because it says shock, I'm not covered. So, it's almost like they kind of bamboozled me into it.
The turnaround time to get your vehicle back is so long and excruciating because of their ways of doing business, having to send out an inspector after the mechanic had just told them, “This is what needs to be done.” But if it exceeds over a certain number, they have to send an inspector, which takes a number of days, and then a number of days for whoever sent that inspector to approve the job. It’s so time-consuming, it's not even worth it.

Endurance sent a bad transmission, and now they have to redo the transmission again. I've been out of a vehicle for over a month. And the guy that sat there and sold me the policy told me there were a bunch of different things that were included, and now they're saying that the one that I got does not include that stuff. I feel I got misled a bit. But I'm hoping that they fix this transmission that they sent that is draining the battery. Because that mechanic shop said that it's something in the internal parts of the transmission that the electrical stuff is just staying on all the time so it's draining the battery.
I can start the truck with a jump in the morning. I drove it three days, and every morning, I have to get a jump. And it does fine once it gets a job, but it's draining the battery. And the only way that they figured out it’s nuts is you unplug the transmission from the actual plug that does all the sensors, and it does fine. There are no problems with the truck. The battery is fine. Brand new battery. Because they thought that it was the battery, so I had to buy another one. The alternator is going good. It’s the transmission. So as you unplug the transmission, everything runs great. No codes, no signals, no nothing. And I’m getting frustrated because I'm spending a lot of money out for a service that is not saying that anything is covered a lot of times.
I've got mixed feelings. I thought it was cool how fast they were willing to do the stuff on the transmission when that happened, but what's going on with the door actuator thing? That is not covered, but the guy told me that I would have some type of Elite Package and everything would be bumper to bumper just like if you had a factory warranty. If that was the case, the door lock thing that, for some reason, the passenger side rear door doesn't work anymore. And I took it to the mechanic. They sat there and did all these diagnostics. They said that was what the problem was. And I was, “Okay. It's supposed to be covered under the warranty.” They called to and tried to get it done under the warranty, but it wasn't. And I ended up paying out almost $300 in diagnostic fees for it to not even be covered. And the door actuator’s another $300. So I told them I couldn't afford to fix that right now.
Everybody else has been nice. And it's almost like they get you to get in, but it's, “Well, no, sir. This is actually what you got.” And I wish that they would actually send out a paper copy instead of going over there and doing a little app thing on the phone. And even when I talked to the guy the last time, he said, “I can send you one if you want one,” but he seemed like he was aggravated when I said something about it. But to me, if I get a car insurance policy, even though it's online, they still send you a hard copy. The warranty is no different than a car insurance. It covers the parts of the car if something is to break down where otherwise just in case you get an accident.
I like how they give you some maintenance and money towards maintenance. Something that got me also is they required me getting a transmission flush, even though it wasn't due for a flush with the mileage. It hadn't reached the manufacturer suggested to get the maintenance done on it. They did put $25 towards it. But I had to pay my mechanic $600 to flush a transmission that wasn't even an issue, and they still sent me another transmission. So, I had to pay the $100 deductible. I paid $600 for transmission fluid to be put into a flush and filter and fluid change to be done on a transmission that’s not even mine anymore. It went back to Endurance.
Luckily, it worked out in the right time, because it ended up replacing that transmission, but still ended up having to deal with all the other stuff that was going on that it seemed like I was not getting the help from Endurance that I was hoping for. Because I shouldn't have to pay $600 for transmission fluid flush that wasn't the problem. If they opened it up, and they found out that that was the problem, that should be a maintenance issue that I needed to take care of. But if they found out that that wasn't the issue, that's where Endurance should have paid for it and I should have just only had to pay my $100 deductible.

There have been some questionable moments with Endurance, but I guess that's with any warranty contract. Some things are covered, and some things aren't. I don't know what the contract entails for how to get top-of-the-line coverage. There's a Basic, a Plus, and then there's everything that's included except wear and tear items. I don't know how to get to that point. It would be good if there was a clear tier system where it shows if your car falls under this category, you qualify for these types of warranty coverages, rather than calling and not being able to read or look at the contract beforehand.
I did have a problem once with a driveshaft issue that was related to the suspension. Apparently, that was the only thing on the suspension that is not covered, which is weird. They were pretty good about the other claims. In the beginning, it was kind of troublesome when I first had the contract because there was a disagreement with the mileage. All that got resolved. The person looking over my account was very helpful with that.

Price-wise, Endurance was more affordable for me. The auto shop had to replace my entire radio system because the navigation system wasn’t working. So, the warranty covered that, except for the $100 deductible. I waited for it for a few hours. The process was fine. The auto shop dealt with them directly.

There was part of my air conditioning system that went out and my mechanic worked with Endurance to replace it. I have a Subaru and what they needed was sold as a complete unit, not as just the part that needed to be replaced. So, Endurance sent out an inspector just to go over it and that took a little bit of time. Also, I wish I would have known that I had car rental coverage since I rented a car for about a week. When I called to tell them to hurry up with the estimator dude, that was when they said I could have car rental. So, I ended up getting the car through them for three days, then I had to extend it beyond that out of pocket. But it was great and even my mechanic said that my warranty company was awesome.

The Endurance reps I talked to explained the coverage very well. They were very nice and were pretty much straight to the point. Any questions I had, they were able to answer. Recently, my AC went out and once I got past the 30 days or 1,000 miles, I was able to take my car to the AC shop. Endurance worked very well with the shop owner and they were able to get the repair done. Endurance also has a very easy process and there were no little hidden things anywhere.

I like Endurance. Endurance is great. They offer good service. This is my fifth car with them, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. It’s peace of mind. Most recently, I did a claim on a hood that would close on you if you're under the hood. Another one was for some weird vibrations when you drive. There was an air conditioning issue as well. It’s like a strong whistling sound with the air conditioner when you turn it on. It's super annoying. Once we did a diagnostic trying to figure out what it was, it turned out to be the compressor.
I've only had a couple of circumstances where Endurance denied a claim. With one, I talked to the manager and they turned it around. They fixed it. The other one was ridiculous. I have referred Endurance to my friends and both of them had bad experiences. I was kind of embarrassed that I referred them. I was like, “Dude, I'm telling you. I've had so many cars with them. I've never had that problem.” My friend was like, “This is really one of the worst warranties. I don't know why you recommended them.” I was like, “Well, I don't know your car and your situation, but I know my car and I know my situation. I know what falls under the warranty and what doesn’t. So I don't bring it in for wear and tear items. I bring it in for things I know should be working and now they're no longer working.” I would still recommend Endurance regardless of the occasional bad experiences.

Endurance's website was easier. I was able to find the information to contact them. And I liked their pricing model, because I had different options. My recent claim was huge, and I'm thrilled that they covered it. It was for the turbocharger in my Volkswagen. We would have fixed it out of pocket just because there's still value left in the car, and that would be my daughter's car when she starts driving in the year. I met the deductible, and there was stuff that I still had to pay. So, I had to pay for the diagnostics. There was additional work that they recommended to be done that we went ahead and did that wasn't covered. So, all in, we're still about $2,000. But it was better than 6,000 that it would have been.
All in, it was about a month. So, that was a drag. But the claims process was fine. It’s a couple of days there, it’s a couple of days there. It’s scheduling time in the shop, it's waiting for parts. All these things. And it just adds up. There was some miscommunication around getting an inspector out. That cost us a week, so that was frustrating. But in the grand scheme of things, I work from home. So, it's not like I needed the car. I don't like feeling stranded, but it wasn't a huge deal.

I was sold a 5 year warranty contract and upon reviewing contract there were several errors in it. It states I have 60 months of coverage yet the contract expiration date is in 1.5 years. I called the company and was told it was obviously an error and it will be adjusted in 2 business days. That was over a week ago. I sent an email to find out when it would be resolved and have not gotten any response back. Today I called and was told that since my vehicle is a 2019 they can only have sold me a 2 year policy which would have been fine if that's what I was initially sold. I am being charged for a 5 years policy but am only getting a 2 year policy so the company says.
To add further insult to injury the expiration date is only a year and a half away and not 2 years. How can a salesman not know what policies he can sell. I am beginning to believe that this was intentional and not an error on their part. I have tried contacting the company for a week to get this involved. No one has returned my emails or calls to get this resolved. Again to summarize this I am being charged for a 5 year contract and money is being taken out of my account but I only have 1.5 years of coverage.

Two claims were denied because I didn’t have the right mileage done on my car. And the last one was approved because I had the mileage on my car correctly. In order to use Endurance, they told me that when I first filled out the application to use them, if you’ve got 340,000 miles on my car, they said I got to add 1,000 miles more on your car before Endurance warranty kicks in. I was still under that 1,000 miles. Even though I waited three months to use it, I still wasn’t over that 1,000 miles. So, I had to wait until I get over that 1,000 miles, and it was active then. Also, the process was a lot of time. It took a week before they did my claim. And I had to wait two more weeks to get my car repaired. It was a time-something thing. I’m thinking about canceling them.

I did a claim with Endurance and it was a bad hassle. I was about to leave them because they straight declined everything even when the things were covered. So, I had to get it reopened months later after fighting for it. My sunroof had messed up and I thought it was an easy pop and fix because when I hit the button, it just made a weird noise. I went to the drive-thru of the service lane at the Mercedes shop and I spoke to the visors if they could see if we can just pop them. He said it was gonna have to be replaced. It got jammed. I said I didn't know if that was covered in my warranty. But I spoke to someone prior to bringing the car back in and it was.
I told the visors to do a diagnostic if they find anything else while I was in here. I know that my warranty covers it and to let me know and just submit it to the Endurance. So, they did. Then, Endurance called me and said that they received a phone call and they declined everything due to pre-existing. I was confused and asked what they meant by pre-existing. They determined that everything could not have had happened all in one bunch. I said it was just a sunroof and it was out of my 30 days, 1,000 miles thing. And they did a diagnostic.
Every time I called, every representative was saying they just worked there and didn't see any notes in. All I could do was resubmit it to them and wait for someone higher up to say something. I contacted multiple people through their emails as well. They stopped being responsive at the time that I just reached out to figure out any update. Then I came across one representative who told me what it was going to be and Endurance reopened it, brought the car back in and they were able to get my sunroof fixed. But everything else was still declined. I wound up paying out of my pocket for the stuff to get fixed.

Everything’s been favorable with my experience with Endurance. Yesterday, I called them to get them to reimburse me for my windshield wipers. I'm an Elite member and that’s one of the things that they cover. But they explained to me the only way they could cover the windshield wipers is if I would have gone into an auto repair shop, to have some work ticket. I said, “Why would I go into an auto repair shop to buy some wiper blades when I can go to AutoZone to buy for quite a few dollars and put them on myself?” But I understood the reason, so I didn't get upset at that. I just said, “Okay, no problem.”
I also filed a claim on my timing chain that needs a replacement. Initially, I took the vehicle in for an auto shop. But, they did not contact Endurance. They also took so long to do the work. They kept my Cadillac for two weeks. So, I took the car from them and took it to the Cadillac dealership. The Cadillac dealership did it in four days. They also contacted Endurance. They did all the legwork. I didn’t have to do anything. All I had to do was go to the original shop and get a zeroed-out invoice because that was what Endurance wanted because I moved it from one shop to another.

I was gaslighted. The rep said I got the highest package and things will be covered. But when it came down to getting my car fixed, everything was denied. I had to spend $5,000 getting my car fixed the past month and that's the price of the policy. I've been paying Endurance monthly. So, I'm wasting money now. When I first got the policy, the guy told me everything would be covered on my motor. I went to get my oil changed and that was the first thing Endurance didn't accept. They said they couldn't accept the receipt for me to give me my credit. It was $150 because it's a Mercedes. So they were supposed to give me a $50 but they didn’t give it to me. So I said okay. I wasn't worried about it. It had to get done anyway.
Not too long after the oil got changed, my ABS light came on so I took my car to the shop because that’s a part of my brake system. I told them to contact the warranty people because I got a warranty. My ABS module was out and Endurance said they didn't cover it. I said fine and got it fixed. When the rep ran the diagnostics on my car, my check engine light came on and she said that I needed a alternator. She said the alternator was covered but I had to get the battery. So right now, I'm still at $2,000 for this service for what I had to come out of pocket.
A few days after that, my ABS and my check engine light comes on again. The policy says the manifold is covered. On my particular car, you can't just fix the manifold. You have to replace it and it says manifold base. When they called, the rep said the manifold wasn't covered. So, I had to come out of pocket for that. I looked at the policy this time and it says intake manifold. It also says exhaust manifold on there. The rep said Endurance was saying it was not covered. I called Endurance and talked to customer service who said my manifold was covered. They were asking for a piece of the manifold and I said that was impossible. She said my manifold has to be replaced. You can't just fix the part that malfunctioned on the manifold and they shouldn't have denied my claim.
I went back to the shop and the rep calls them, and the exact words were that nobody in customer service should have told me anything about claims because it's not covered. And the rep said it snappily. So I said that there was no point in arguing about it. I’ll just cancel that policy when I get a chance to, because right now, I gotta figure out how to get my car out the shop. I have to fix it. This is the worst experience I've ever had at an insurance company because I don't have this problem with my other policies at all.

It's messed up that Endurance doesn't tell you that you gotta add certain stuff in your plan before you find out that you need to add it while you're doing the plan. That’s a big miscommunication that Endurance might have with people. What you’re paying for is messed up. They pay for it, but they don't tell you you gotta add certain stuff for certain stuff to be covered. You get tricked a bit. They just paid for a seal on my transmission. But at first, I had to upgrade my plan. Because I initially had a different plan, and I had to upgrade my plan. So that was a big hassle when I thought that it was already covered, but it wasn’t.
I had some minor stuff. But you pay for everything you gotta get done. But that heavy stuff, like engine and transmission, you pay for. It's not good because you still gotta pay for $800 shocks. You still gotta pay for $400 brake jobs. It’s so much stuff you still gotta pay for. Why do I have this insurance stuff? If I’m paying them all this much money, it should cover all that stuff. But it doesn’t. And it would be specific. It would be, “We’ll cover this. But if this part on this goes bad, we won't cover it.” If you replace this thing, you had to replace the whole thing anyway. So it would be half sometimes. They did a good job. But it’s stuff that needs to be fixed and need to be brought to their attention. That's not just them. It’s all extended warranty companies that I'm talking about.

I made sure before I purchased the extended warranty, that I had a very long conversation, which was also a recorded conversation, with the lady that helped me purchase it and made sure of a lot of the entailments, including how she strived on the fact that Endurance uses new parts, and anything that's damaged is taken care of. She reassured me on everything, that Endurance was this outstanding company. My vehicle went into the shop for a rocker roller that was down, which damaged the camshaft. It also stopped up the oil pump. Anybody that knows anything about vehicles knows that these rocker arms in a 3.6 liter are notorious for going bad. This isn't something that just happened because I neglected something. Not to mention that I have outstanding service records on the little bit of time that I've had it.
I spoke with the shop and they sent me photos. And even though it was a used vehicle, it was 170,000 miles when I bought it, there's not a drop of varnish or sludge in it. It's a super well-maintained vehicle, even before I got it. So, Endurance claimed that it’s continued operation, even though the vehicle was taken to a shop as soon as the noise was noticeable. I couldn't help it that there was no check engine light nor was there no noise presented. I can't determine that there's a part that failed internally in an engine until it gives some type of reason that it has a failed part.
Nobody in my area that's close takes Endurance. The customer service is zero help when it comes to getting my vehicle taken to a shop as far as being towed. I've called multiple times to try to figure out where to take it, how to do it and all the process. I had to do it all on my own with no help with that. I drove my vehicle to a first shop, which is an hour from my house, and the vehicle sat there for three weeks. I was told I couldn't get a rental vehicle, even when I have three disabled children, until something was approved. So, after sitting there for three weeks, the shop still hadn't touched the vehicle. So, it needed to be moved to another shop that could get it in and look at it so that I could have something to make sure my kids could make it to school instead of having to beg people for rides.
I drove the vehicle again to another shop. So now, there are two continued operations where I've driven it. But it's no fault of my own. The shop was to put an engine in it because there's metal contamination. After the engine was declined, they stated that they would replace the rocker arms, lifters and camshaft. At this point, I didn't even realize that this was only on the front thing and I had already authorized the shop to do a teardown, willing to pay out of pocket if need be. So, I agreed to the shop because they were only willing to cover that. I told the shop that it was pointless because I spoke with a supervisor with Endurance and explained the whole situation to him about it and he told me that he has seen some vehicles that were just horrible looking from this and full of metal. And that I can change the oil a couple of times and they can be fine on it.
I either take the little bit of help that Endurance is willing to give me or I take nothing. So, I paid the $1,200 and something out of pocket to have an oil pump put in there myself, which helps protect Endurance because that's another part they are gonna have to cover. Then, while the shop was doing the job, they removed the rear valve cover and saw that there was another rocker arm that was down and another camshaft. Endurance argued with the shop and instead of paying for all new rocker arms and camshafts back there, they approved one camshaft, one lifter and one rocker arm. So, I still got all the other ones that are old. My vehicle could go back down at any point for one of those older ones that have 180,000 miles on them now, which I'm terrified because Endurance is just going to stiff me again some way and I'm going to be out of pocket again.
It’s costing me more money than just going out and fixing the vehicle to begin with, by the time you get done paying for all this. And then, Endurance doesn’t want to cover anything. They’re trying to find any way they can to get out of something instead of doing what's right on something that is out of my control. I’m still keeping Endurance but I’m not happy with it and I have zero faith that if anything goes wrong with my vehicle, they’re gonna cover anything. They’re just here to get my money.

The price of Endurance was good and it covered the most out of all the companies I looked at. I submitted a claim for my daughter's car and it went smoothly. They were very good. They replaced the transmission. I was very satisfied with them. If I get another car that doesn't have a warranty on it, I will be going back to Endurance.

It was a lot that they repaired, like AC, my AB, and they said I had a leak around my oil pan. And some of the stuff, they didn’t even pay for. I paid for it myself. Plus, they haven’t even paid me for the renting of the car. It has been three weeks since I sent the paperwork in for the repayment for the rental car, and I haven’t received anything. My first time being with Endurance was amazing. The second time, something happened with one of my cars and I had a problem with the radiator. They fixed the radiator, which was fine, and I appreciate that. But it was the condenser that they couldn't fix. Nothing was wrong with the car. I even got it inspected before I bought the warranty. But I did drive it out of town. Endurance was telling me that they didn't want to fix the condenser and I had to come out of my pocket $1,700. The condenser is under the warranty but it is what it is. As far as anything else, I like Endurance. I'm still paying them. They can lower their prices a little bit though.
Fred, the customer service rep, was friendly and knew a lot. The others were a bit snotty but the only one I did not have a problem with was Fred. There was another lady I talked to and she was sweet. I've seen bad reviews about Endurance but I didn't believe it. My experience has been totally different. They’ve helped me out and has been fair.

Endurance gives peace of mind that if something happens, you don't have to worry. I had a claim and everything was fine. We went to the dealership and they handled it all so we didn't have any problems. The claim was for the alternator, the battery, and something else. There were the struts or the bar line. The dealership had my car for a few days each time.
I like the fact that the payment company sends reminders to let you know. That helps out. We get set up on auto pay and we've never had any hassle. It's been a pretty smooth transition from day one. I also like the fact that if you want to cancel, you can cancel. So far, Endurance seems to be really fair and honest. I recommended two people to the auto warranty and one of my friends went with them.

Endurance replaced my turbo. That was a big covered part. The problem that my service advisor had was getting ahold of the customer service. Also, Endurance should be covering more than what is advertised. If you have an oil pan that needs to be replaced, it's not going to be replaced unless it's damaged from a covered part. That doesn't make sense. I had a gasket seal that needed to be replaced. Even if they can't cover 100%, they could give an incentive to have it because I have the extended warranty service.

I took my car in for transmission work. The mechanic took forever to do it even after I called him and Endurance said they’d cleared the funds. Three days after he did it, my car stopped while I was on the highway. I ended up having to get it towed to a new place. I asked them if they took Endurance, but they told me, "If you already got it fixed, you should be able to take it to the same mechanic and he should fix it.”
The mechanic picked it up with one of his tow trucks and claimed he fixed it. I'm driving it now, and it doesn't go over 60 miles per hour. I'm scared to accelerate it past 60 because last time, it stopped on the highway. Something inside the hood rattles aggressively. It wasn't doing that before I turned it in. I'm not sure if I should talk to him again or if I should tell Endurance or what I need to do going forward because it doesn't feel fixed at all. But as far as Endurance's service, it's quick. They wanted to help me. The service was delayed, but it was the mechanic more so than Endurance. There was something about Endurance saying that they needed the part number, but the mechanic was taking forever to give them that.

I filed a claim to Endurance and their claims process wasn't so good. I brought my car in to Cadillac, and I told them that I had Endurance, and they asked me for my policy number and some kind of other information. They called Endurance and arranged for the claim for clearance. The car had to sit there for a day or so because Endurance had to send an inspector to look at the car. Cadillac couldn't even start working on it. Then the inspector verified it and supposedly approved the repair. Cadillac found that after they made that repair, there was another problem, and Endurance didn't want to pay for the other problem because they had some excuse that it was due to a clog.
Endurance paid part of the repairs and then they said, because the other repair was due to a clog, it was not covered. So, I had to pay an additional $1,500 plus all the taxes on all the other repairs and the $100 deductible. They specifically said that the air conditioning was covered, and it wasn't really covered. So, I feel like they just make up a bunch of excuses when your car breaks to pay for as little of it as possible. Even the dealership told me, "Well, they made up some kind of reason that didn't make much sense to me. They said you can call them back." It was too late. The repairs were done, and I had to pay for it so I could get my car back. I feel that Endurance lied to me when they told me everything was covered. I also had to have a touchscreen replaced, and I had to pay for that too.

The car rental I can only get the cheapest here in Knoxville, Tennessee was 44.75. So, I had to eat the difference. They only go up to $150 max and I had to rent the vehicle for two weeks. They need to update their rental reimbursement. With inflation, you can't get a rental car with what they're reimbursing. That's the only complaint I have about Endurance. Endurance has a target plan in mind. I went with almost the top tier but they didn't go over how much difference there was between that and the top tier. They could have gone a little bit more in-depth on the details of the plan and on the maintenance portion of it and how that all works. On my first claim with Endurance, I called their 1-800 number that they give you off the bat for the towing. I had the vehicle towed right away and it was not an issue. Then, the dealership took care of dealing with them. I gave them my policy number, paid my deductible and I was done. The second time was a little bit more severe. My transmission went out. So that was a little more in-depth because they had to send out an adjuster. That involved multiple phone calls.

I just brought it back to the shop the other day because the guy told me to bring it back after a couple of weeks. They wouldn’t put a new motor in, so he ordered everything that was on top, which probably, they should have put a new motor in. So now, the main seal is leaking. They’re waiting on Endurance to okay it.
Nobody ever told me that I was covered for oil changes and maintenance. So, the argument that I had back and forth with Endurance is that my son owns a car repair place and because my son just did my oil changes and stuff, I purchase the oil. The contract needed to be rectified before we could even execute it so a customer service manager had to get involved finally to fix it. I reviewed something on Carfax and Endurance said that somebody entered my odometer readings wrong last January that completely violates my contract, but they were happy to sell me a new one, which was beyond idiotic. If you can't figure out that a tire place entering your odometer reading wrong is the fault of the tire place and not me trying to game the system when they have lots of correct odometer readings, that's not a reason to invalidate a contract. So that part of it was poor. But the actual services rendered was very good.
Endurance fulfilled their contractual obligations. The problem came from super long wait times to get in touch with anybody to rectify the issue with the contract and the complete inability of most people that I spoke to over three and a half hours in one day to do anything about it. But when somebody finally in a position to make a change and with the time to listen to me, we finally got on the line. The customer service manager that I finally spoke to was fantastic. He totally got it and was very apologetic. He understood how frustrating it was and fixed it. In the end, Endurance got it resolved.

I love the type of insurance. It helps to have that security and peace of mind. You pay every month, and they cover big expenses, if they come. However, the process, at least here on Maui, of getting something cleared, can take sometimes up to two weeks to get it authorized. You're without a car in that time. The speed with which Endurance authorizes claims is not ideal for us. There could also be more communication from them. There's only one person here on Maui that does all of their adjusting, which is why it can take so long.
We took our car in last time for the transmission. They cleared it to be fixed, but the Endurance adjuster told the dealership where we get all of our work done that this was the last claim that they could do because we've maxed out the policy over the six years we've had and that we would need to apply for a new policy, which I did. But I didn't hear that from Endurance, I heard that from the dealership. Weeks went by, and I still hadn't heard anything from Endurance about that. Then something else happened with a car, and I brought it in just to see. Again, the adjuster said that no, they couldn't do anything more in the car until the new policy got done. I still haven't heard anything from Endurance which I didn't think was the best. But I like them enough, and they have helped out enough that I am continuing the service.

Absolutely the biggest scam going! After purchasing an Endurance warranty product on my 2007 GMC which had approximately 180,000 miles at time of purchase, I went through the 30 day waiting period, and accumulated over the 1000 mile probationary period. As original owner of the vehicle since new, I was headed to work one morning, and the vehicle would not shift out of first gear. I took the vehicle to my local GMC dealer, and they advised that the transmission would need replacement or rebuild. The dealer contacted Endurance with regards to vehicle diagnostic repair status. Endurance was very quick to advise that problem was preexisting, even though I never had this problem prior to this event.
Endurance said that the transmission had low fluid, was slipping, and gears were worn out. The adjuster was a total jerk and was disrespectful to the service director. Endurance has no basis to deny claim as pre existing since there was never an issue prior to this event. I am still driving the vehicle and experiencing this intermittent problem. Endurance did not open the transmission and gear box therefore only assumed that the transmission is worn out. Their customer service is horrible, when you sell a high mileage vehicle warranty they are assuming an inherent risk of mechanical failure of the vehicle. That's why I purchased the warranty to protect me against such failure. Endurance is useless and I recommend against purchasing their product. They lie, and try to weasel out of any liability. Do not consider purchasing their product.

It's been a good experience with Endurance. I am very satisfied with what they cover and the ease of getting a policy. It helps with the payment plan. I had multiple repairs done on my BMW X5 recently. The transmission had to be replaced. There was also a wheel hub that was acting funny and the air distribution box stopped pulling out of one of the vents. Generally, the repair went good. I had to wait for the parts which was the bad part but that was because they were coming from Germany. Endurance covered everything but my deductible. But every time, for each item, they had to send an inspector out. That would take two days then it’d take another day for them to input what they thought then approve it. I understand they got to protect themselves but that added more time. The total time of repair from the time I put my car in until I picked it up was almost two months.

the finding, even though I called. It was weeks later, Endurance did. It’s more of a no follow-up did not occur, no communication. That’s why it dropped that. It was a lot of miscommunication between Endurance and the automotive shop. It was so much pointing fingers. When I put in the car, it was a monthly payment for them. If there's a request or a repair, they should be following up. It was just, “The people said they’re waiting on parts.” “Okay. But did you talk to Endurance or something?” It was too much. It could have been handled better. More communication. I took the car to the shop. They made sure I wasn’t walking. I had a loan. But I’m the one who paid my premium, not them. Or they could have been seeing on the repair shop to see what’s going on with my vehicle. It was none of that.
Once I got in touch with them, they got in touch with the field person, they immediately went to see the car. But I had to call to find out why they haven’t been there. They told me to take my car Monday. “We’ll be there to look at the car Monday or Tuesday.” Monday and Tuesay came around three times before he got there. So, that was very disappointing on that part.
Everything was dropped. But they did not let me know my payment was still coming out of my account. They need to make sure it doesn’t become a repeat for people. Because it’s bad. I get a lot of sales from different companies. And I’m not gonna switch. But my first experience at purchasing a warranty for my vehicle wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

To purchase Endurance was easy. However, they don't answer the phone. They offer you all these incentives when you purchase the warranty, but you can't use them because the app is not friendly. There's no substance to it. Even when I had a claim going, all it does is, “Your claim is in process.” It gives you no updates. There's just no content or substance to the app. Also, their website is atrocious. And the office hours are horrible. You're an auto warranty, and an auto service, emergency roadside. You should be 24/7. You call them on a weekend, they're closed on Saturday and Sundays.
From the process of when we contacted them, it took a few days. And it took a weekend to get them to approve the claim. So, it was extremely slow. And they nickel-and-dimed my mechanic. And they didn't pay for certain things. So what I thought it would be my deductible, cost me five times what my deductible was. For example, in order to pull the transmission out of the vehicle, you got to take the fluid out of transmission, correct? Endurance refused to pay to put the fluid back in the transmission.

I talked to a representative, and he assured me everything was taken care of. He stopped my autopay with my credit card, which was fine, but he didn't inform the payment company, Metco. They kept calling me, wanting payment. I was like, “Well, I don't own this vehicle anymore. I've already cancelled my policy.” For some reason, there was a mix-up. Other than that, the policy was great. They did a repair on my truck. I was happy with that, but I just didn’t care for that vehicle anymore. I traded it in and had it paid off. I'm currently driving a 2019 Grand Cherokee, which I'm happy with.

1. Why does someone have to wait 90 days to use their policy for the first time? I think 60 days is good.
2. Why does it take so long to move money? You get our payments to you instantly, you can't do the same in reverse so clients don't have to wait for reimbursement?
3. Clients should receive the same documentation you send their shops.
Other than the items above, it has been good.

The signup was seamless and very easy. I've been paying monthly, and it just so happened, something went wrong with my vehicle. I took it to a repair facility, and I liked the fact that once they got possession of the vehicle, they took over communication with Endurance. I didn’t have to go through the hassle. Once the part came in, Endurance covered a majority of the repairs.

Endurance has been doing well for me for the most part. I had a claim that I had to submit about 30 days ago. There were a few different issues going on with my car. I took it to Hendrick’s BMW, and the guy called me back with a few of the codes that were coming up on my car. He asked me, did I have a third party. I told him I had Endurance. He worked everything out the backend and told me what was covered and what wasn’t. Endurance helped me out with a lot of the cost. I ended up having to pay about 1,400 bucks, but it's a lot cheaper than what the original bill would have been. So, I can't complain. They’re a lot better than the company I recently came from.

Signed up and paid and had 30 days for review of contract. Never received contact as promised. Contact Endurance after about a week and asked for a copy. Was informed that a copy would be mailed. Waited. No copy. I contacted them again and was given a phone number which was not correct. I sent them a text message to cancel and return my payment before the 30 day grace period. Never received a reply back. By then my 30 days had expired. I finally found a correct phone number, called and talked to the supervisor on duty and requested the return of my money since I never received a copy of the contract. He informed me that the it was past the 30 days and he couldn’t return my payment. I informed him that I contact endurance before the 30 day grace period and was provided a wrong phone number. He said that didn’t matter, he could not return my money and wanted me to sign up for the extended warranty. Lots of Luck!!!!

Endurance has been very good. I bought it in 2017, and I had no issues. Recently, I had cause to use it for the first time when the dealer said I had some engine issues, and to my amazement, they honored those payments. I went back to the dealership, too. They diagnosed what was the problem, and I asked them if they could call the warranty and see if it was covered. Because I bought the bumper-to-bumper and a lot of stuff is covered there. They said, "Yes, but it’s not covered."
When I called the warranty company, they said nobody ever called in a claim. Otherwise, it would have been approved according to the information I received from one of the customer service people. I had to pay $1,811.22, and I was stuck with that bill. I had to put it on a credit card. The dealership people are scumbags. On the other hand, Endurance is a great company. I recommended them to two of my relatives already. I let them know that if they were looking for extended warranty companies, Endurance is the way to go.

I had a claim with Endurance a couple of months ago and it went great. This time, I just got my car towed because all the lights came on, saying, “This needs to be this and that.” And started making a weird noise. The guy said, “No, problem. Don’t drive it.” The guys at the Chevy Exchange said to not drive it as well. The guy that I spoke to at Endurance was amazing. He was outstanding and very understanding.

When I took my car to the dealership, they said, “You need a transmission,” then I said, “Plus, I hear some noise in the car.” They saw what was wrong with it, then they called Endurance and told them that the car needed fixing. Endurance said, “Wait until we send our guy out to check it out from the dealership.” I said, “I know, but it's the transmission, so I'm not going to be able to drive it. We already know that it needs a transmission. So, I'm going to need transportation.” It took forever for the guy to come out, and I was stuck with no car for two weeks. I had to take Uber back and forth to work. The other bad part is they did not cover everything, and I had to come out of pocket about $7,000. Endurance is still good, and I'm still with them now, but they can be a bit faster.

I was under the impression, when I got this warranty, it was more of a bumper-to-bumper warranty. The way the salesman explained it to me made me think that I had full coverage on my Chevy truck, and I thought I would never have to touch anything on this truck. I can understand normal wear and tear, but when my first problem happened with the truck, and I was talking to Endurance, apparently, I didn't have the coverage I thought I had. So, there are things that aren't covered that I thought would be covered.
Endurance gave me the book to read, and I never read it. I’ve had it for so long, and with my Dodge, nothing ever went wrong. I bought it new in 2012, and it had a three-year factory warranty. I knew I was coming to an end and figured I'd better protect myself. I started looking at extended warranties and ended up calling Endurance. It sounded like something I wanted, so I went with them and I’ve had it for quite a while. The extended warranty has been very good because I think I bought a lemon. I’m having multiple problems with my Chevy truck, and it’s only got 30,000 miles on it. It's a 2019 Chevy High Country, which is the top-of-the-line truck that Chevy makes, and it was $70,000 when it was new. I should have kept my Dodge.
When my passenger window wouldn’t go up, I took my Chevy truck in and the dealership called the insurance company. They had to get the okay from Endurance before they can look at the car. They said, “Go ahead and fix it,” and within two days, I had my truck back and the dealership charged them $500 for the repair. Endurance was fantastic. I paid a little extra, but I got zero deductible, which I really like. One time though, it took them a while to get their appraiser out there when the power steering went on the truck. It turned out to be $2,500 in repairs.
I can understand if they have to send their appraiser out to look at it to make sure the auto place isn’t ripping them off but the truck sat there for quite a while and the the dealership wouldn’t give a loaner. They said, “Well, that’s up to your insurance company.” I thought I would get a loaner, but I didn't. Other than that, I've been perfectly happy. If there were more stars, I would give it to Endurance. Within the last three months, they have dished out close to $4,000 in repairs at the shop. New trucks are absolutely ridiculous. You can't even put new pads on a truck without going to some kind of system because everything's electrical. Now, I'm having problems with the brakes, and I'm afraid it's gonna have to go in again. I hope Endurance doesn't drop me.

My car broke down in the middle of the highway. Something happened with the water pump and one of the hoses. The dealer fixed that. And then they said my transmission was acting up. They changed the whole transmission or they fixed it. My car was in the shop in Orlando for over two months and I live in Miami. Endurance only gave a five-day rental. I asked them to give me an additional five later on because I still have to rent a car. We were lucky to have another car that we could use but it was an inconvenience for us.
When there's a breakdown that's that big. Endurance should have probably given an extended rental that was more than just five days because sometimes, it's going to take a long time. The reason that car was at the dealership for over two months was because there was a lack of communication between the dealer and the warranty company. I kept waiting for no reason because they told me at the end that they were waiting to see what happens. The other party said the same thing. If I didn't get on the phone and started talking to both, it would have gone longer for me. In the end, they managed to resolve whatever approval they were waiting for.
Now, I'm just still waiting to see if Endurance is gonna call me back regarding the additional five-day rental that I did. They haven't followed up with that. I called and they haven't called me back. I was on the line with somebody for a long time and talked to him. The guy was looking at his notes and saw something that they talked about that with me but they haven't done anything with that. It’s been about a month and I'm going to call this week to see what's going on. That aside, everything else was okay because my car got fixed. The warranty did what it had to do. For the first 5-day rental I did, they sent me a check that was $150.

Every time I call for a claim, they come through. The last claim that I went through with BMW was like pulling teeth because they kept denying it until they spoke to the BMW foreman for them to explain to them exactly what was the problem with my car. Then they asked for all this paperwork. Eventually, when they proved to them that it was a problem, they proceeded. They paid for it. Other than that, they’re good and reliable. Whatever my car is covered under, they took care of it. I'm satisfied with Endurance.

I called Endurance and asked them to give me a list of the shops that they deal with. They gave me a list that was close to me. I took the vehicle to the shop. The shop called me, told me what was wrong, and submitted the problem to Endurance. They said that they would send somebody over to look at it, and if that was covered under warranty, they would fix it. Four days later, I got a call saying that they were gonna cover it. They repaired the torque converter. I owed $100.

It took 9 business days to get an "inspector" out to the dealership to look at our car. It took 4 business days to approve the repair. Contact with Claims always ended in what they told me not happening. Claims Customer Services email replied 1 time to my several messages. Requested to talk to a Manager. Instead of a Manager, received a return call from a nice person who didn't/couldn't answer my concerns. Access to Corporate assistance has proven to be at best difficult if not impossible. Still trying to talk to Alex ** listed as a responsible Person for claims. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!
