Signing up was really easy. Customer service has been good. We had one issue when I took my vehicle to a dealership and Endurance gave me and the dealership a little runaround for fixing the truck. After some conversations and stuff, they finally came through and did what they were supposed to do.

Endurance is excellent. They have saved me a lot of money. They are responsive to the needs of their members. They don't try to disqualify consumer's needs over silly policies. They have minimal hold times. They're always willing to give the information you need without a hassle. I had a fuel pump fail. I called in, and the process was very good. They allowed me to take it to the shop down the street from my house. Within a day, they had the part ordered and an authorization to repair my vehicle.

Endurance kept turning me here and there to repair my car and then they could not repair the car fully. I'm not happy because they refused to pay for my repair. The car had the problem before I started the insurance but the real issue is I had an account with them and they closed it because they said they couldn’t reach me to get the payment automatically drawn from my account. After I changed my banker, apparently, they said they tried to reach me and they could not get to me. And that is far from the truth. By the time the car had issue when I took it for repair, they told me that my insurance was dropped. I have paid over $2,000 on the first account and now that the car had an issue, they said they could not reopen the account. But I have to open a whole new account. So, I did.
When they asked for the oil change from the repair shop, the repair shop also knew that my AC needed to be checked. And they said that because the issue was already there when I got the new account, they no longer covered that. I even told them that I can pay up to the amount that they said they were calling me and I did not respond, and then they reinstate the account. But they said no and the worst part was that my payment even almost doubled. From 110, it went to 200 and something.
I talked with customer service in getting the rent-a-car, which was another issue. They said I couldn’t get a rental car until I got a case number and then, I had to call Enterprise. Endurance wanted me to pay and they were gonna reimburse me. It took them almost two weeks to approve the case before they could even get me a rental car and the rental car they bought me was not even anything compared to my car. They said that when my car has an issue, they will give me a similar thing to my car. That wasn't even similar. Endurance should compensate your customer after they pay, after all, over $2,000 in their first insurance and they never have any issue or did any repair. They should compensate them when they have an issue for the second account too.

I had put in for quotes at Carshield and Endurance. I went with CarShield because it was 49 a month. In august 2021 I got a call from salesperson at Endurance. He asked why I went with them and I said due to cost and the only concern I had was the coverage and not covering electronics. He said they could cover the electronics, his coverage would cover everything including oil changes, brakes even alternator. His was more expensive but sold Me On $50 oil change reimbursement and brake pad coverages which almost offset the higher cost. I agreed and when I went to file a claim a year later I find out I was put on the basic of all basic plans (same as Carshield except $40 more) and I called talked with rep and all they want to do is put me on another plan and not cover repairs. I keep asking to hear the recorded phone call from the sales call and no one is letting me hear it!

Endurance was very good. The signup process was pretty easy. The only thing I didn't like is it takes them so long to send an investigator out to do the claim. So, you'd be without a car for about two weeks. Other than that, they did really well in handling the claim. The holdup is the investigator. It might be two to four days before the investigator gets there. In the meantime, you don't have a car or you’re just spending money on a rental. Then after they get there, it's like another two or three days for them to approve it.

I am writing this review to help customers like myself. I bought a 2016 Yukon, and I was very happy, because I been wanting this vehicle for a long time, so I was beyond excited to finally have been able to buy it. I investigated auto warranties to protect my dreamed car that I have finally been able to buy. I compared prices with different auto warranties and compared reviews, I quickly found that Endurance was supposed to be the best one according to reviews, and well, I have quickly come to find out that Endurance is just as bad, as any other auto warranty as the others. My dream car quickly became a nightmare, and my Endurance warranty as well, or even worst.
When I bought the policy, (which is much more expensive than other ones, but I bought it because according to reviews, it’s a great company), they promised me the heavens and everything in them. They explained that for the policy to become effective, I had to wait 30 days and then drive 1000 miles from the purchase of the policy, well, now they are playing with words and denying the claim saying that I was supposed to wait 30 days and then drive 1000 miles for the policy to become effective, therefore making it a pre-existing condition.
Well, according to the contract, on page 12 of 26, even if there was a pre-existing condition, they are not supposed to deny the claim!!!! Also, the times that I have talked to them over the phone, they have been rude, not informative, and rude by talking over me when I am trying to explain something. This company is causing stress on me. I am very disappointed and unhappy with Endurance Car Warranty.
ARIZONA SPECIAL STATE REQUIREMENTS: We will not cancel or void this Contract due to pre-existing conditions, prior use or unlawful acts relating to the Vehicle or misrepresentation by either Us or subcontractors which were known by Us or the seller. Further, neither We nor Our assignees or subcontractors will cancel or void coverage under this Contract due to the acts or omissions of Us, Our assignees or subcontractors or for their failure to provide correct information or perform the services or repairs provided in a timely, competent or workmanlike manner.
Any cancellation fee imposed shall not exceed the lesser of 10% of the gross amount paid by You for this Contract or $50. Section X, subsection K, is amended to include: However, no coverage shall be excluded or void due to pre-existing conditions if such conditions were known or should reasonably have been known by Us or the seller. The ENTIRE AGREEMENT section of Your Contract shall include, “This Contract does not exclude coverage if the odometer was tampered with prior to purchase.” Section XVII. does not prevent the Contract Holder from his or her rights to file a complaint with the Arizona Department of Insurance.

Do not go near this company. They will clean out your bank account. I trusted Sarvesh ** // Floor Manager like an idiot. Instead of cancelling this warranty within the required time as they guaranteed they STOLE MY MONEY and won't give it back. My next call will be to the police and the FTC.

I bought a 2006 Ford Econoline van in early 2000, and my wife applied for an Endurance warranty. Over 2-1/2 years later, we filed for a claim, which was denied, due to a "mileage discrepancy". It seems that the dealership wrote the mileage that was on the van, when they purchased it at auction, on our purchase agreement. However, they listed a higher mileage on the CARFAX report (about 150 miles difference), due to them driving the van back from the auction, running errands, etc.. Not knowing this, my wife used the number on the purchase agreement as the actual mileage.
Since it was purchased, Endurance never contacted us about this "discrepancy", but happily took our payments. So, after all this time, and several thousand miles of driving, we had an issue with noisy axle bearings, a "covered" repair. And, the claim was denied. They breached the contract, and IMHO, owe us a full refund of all fees that were paid in, since THEY breached the contract. I am still trying to resolve the issue, but keep getting put on hold every time that I ask to speak to a manager. Note: my wife was told that they would rewrite the policy, with the mileage corrected, but that the current repair would NOT be covered. SCAMMERS!

I have not had any issues with Endurance. The claims process seemed to take a while but I'm not gonna blame them because I think my biggest problem was my dealer. It took eight days to get my car back for a one-day job. I think the dealer was overwhelmed. The dealer always blames the insurance company no matter what. When I went out there, every time Endurance said they were gonna show up, they showed up. So, I’m more inclined to believe it was the dealer because I've had trouble with that before.
From my experience, Endurance is a good company. I had a problem with my transmission module and Endurance took care of the cost. The car came back fine. They came out to look at the car to make sure that everything is as the dealer said it was. They said they would be there by this time. They were there by that time. The car seems to be running fine since the repair. The dealer tried to tell me that I would have to wait another day because the insurance company had not paid. When I called the guy at Endurance, he said, “I've already paid them.” I called the dealer back and they told me, “Oh, yeah. We got paid. The car will be ready in an hour.” So, I'm very happy with Endurance.

Signing up was easy. But I could do without the service. I paid for a top of the line plan and every time I attempt to use it, I come out of pocket way more. I never just pay the deductible.

The timing chain cover seal leaked and I had my mechanic do the diagnostics. They were able to reach out to Endurance and get it fixed. Since it was a leak, I wasn't expecting to have so much of it covered but the majority of it was covered with my deductible. I only had to pay about $286 out of a $1,300 bill and I was pleasantly shocked. It worked out very well. Then, I had another claim for a key fob replacement, which ended up being covered completely. My mechanic had nothing but good things to say. The dealership also said they worked with Endurance and they were the easiest to work with. I'm very pleased that I chose Endurance.

After I got a quote from Endurance, it seemed like it was the best for my car. The guy I dealt with answered all my questions and gave me everything that it covered, how long, and what I need to know about it. He was informative. My biggest thing was covering everything, and I liked that it was 400,000 miles. I had a recent claim, and it took a little time but I got everything I needed to be done on the car, which I appreciate. Because it was so much money, somebody had to come out and approve. They had to go to my mechanic and look at what was done. That took a little longer than expected because it took two weeks to get that done.
The only thing I had a problem with was until it was approved, they wouldn't give me a rental car at all. It took like almost weeks. So, for two weeks, I don’t have a car. I had to pay out of my pocket for a rental car. It took longer than it should have because they kept giving me and my mechanic a runaround about who needed to approve it. It needs to go to the other guy, and the guy won’t be in on this date and that date. After the car was broken down and the guy came out to inspect it, he came the next day, which was good.

I was very satisfied with my most recent claim. The mechanics of the screen on the front dashboard stopped working. The dealership put the claim through. I just gave them the policy number and the phone number. The car was in the shop for two days and Endurance took care of it. I was very happy and I found them very easy to deal with.

I had two claims with them. I had a transmission problem and a short in the doors. All I had to do was bring the vehicle in to the mechanic's and get information about the car. They put it on file and those were taken care of. I'm kinda satisfied with what I have received so far from Endurance.

I liked Endurance's customer service. On my most recent claim, there was a really big mess at the dealership. I have five kids, so I really rely on my vehicle. The dealership did not file the claim as they should have. I was waiting, and the dealership had already had my vehicle for about a week, so I decided to call Endurance myself and see what was going on. They ended up taking care of it faster. It was handled that day. For me, customer service is everything. I recommend Endurance to everybody.

Endurance covered a higher mileage vehicle, and there wasn't anything that mechanically they didn't cover at some level. I drilled a lot of questions on the rep, and my questions were always satisfied from her answer back in some way or another.

When I signed up with Endurance, it was quick. Their service has been good. The only thing that I didn't agree with was that they did not reimburse me for my rental car and that took forever. I was told to send my receipt to a particular person, and it was supposed to have gone to some other department. It was December 2021 and it just got resolved. I had to resend everything again and then they didn't cover it. I've steered away from getting a rental because if I'm not going to be reimbursed, then that's a lot of money out of my pocket. Their rates have not gone up with what the rates are, in general, because they only pay up to $30 a day. And it's not comparable with any rentals around here anymore. That needs to be addressed.
Otherwise, they pretty much paid for everything. They've answered questions that I've had. There were a few times when they said, “This isn't covered for this reason.” But when I would go back and look at the policy, it would say right here that it is. But they owned it and said, “I'm so sorry. Okay, we'll cover it.”

Do NOT utilize this company, over the last month they have denied my claim with no correspondence. Then when I have a new claim they have taken every avenue to gaslight me, push me off to others, refuse to address my concerns, blatantly conflicting information about documents and recordings, and even belittle me when I ask to escalate my claim to a higher authority. They do not desire to help people, most especially active duty veterans whom fight for the same freedoms that allow our country to have companies such as these.
After brining my claim back from denial for an error that made no sense, they denied it again after inspection citing clearly unrelated reasons that were even expressed by Mercedes-Benz personnel themselves! “The most ridiculous reason to deny a claim I’ve ever heard of” is what even Mercedes-Benz staff said. After over 20+ years of service defending our country I have NEVER been so badly mistreated and discarded by any company and it is shameful. PLEASE do NOT do business with this company as they do not value their customers or their veterans.

I had to get a brand new transmission. The Nissan placed asked me who do I have for extended warranty. And they told me they accepted Endurance. So, they took it from there. It was easy. I will recommend Endurance for anybody that has a car and their warranty is about to expire.

I was getting some engine noise. I wrote an email to Endurance. I took the vehicle to the dealer and I informed Endurance what dealer it was at and they took care of the vehicle from there on. I'm very pleased with them. It really is a lifesaver. I will do Endurance through the duration of having a car.

I filed a claim with Endurance and I have not gotten a response. My car stayed in the shop for two months. They didn't want to approve for the car to be fixed. Then they still didn't approve for one part for the seat. At one time, they told us they were going to take care of it. But the next time someone came through, they said the insurance won't pay for it. We had to come out of pocket $1,500. They said they were also going to reimburse us for a rental fee. But I have not gotten a check for that yet. This has been three months now. We kept going from one supervisor to one person to another.

In my opinion this is a very fraudulent and deceptive company. They repeatedly told me the coverage from this warranty was better than the extended warranty I had purchased when I bought my van. They said that it would cover everything on my vehicle and charged me top dollar. I found out this was not true after making several request for a copy of the warranty. Once I received it I went over it with the agent and was told that what I was being charged for was not the coverage in the first section of the warranty but the second section (which is a great deception leaving people to feel they are getting full coverage).
When I asked why was I being charged for full coverage if that was not what I was getting. I was told I had too many miles to qualify for that which was another fraudulent deception because I had to give my mileage when I purchased the warranty and nothing was said about me only being able to get basic because of the miles. Instead I was told the opposite that I would be getting full coverage. Then they had the audacity to tell me they would be willing to loan me the money to fix my car (loan me the money I have been giving them and said they do it all the time which I feel is part of their fraudulent practice to get customers to not cover them but to have them pay to be offered a loan to fix their vehicle when they need it). FRAUD, FRAUDULENT, DECEPTIVE is what I would label this company.

The young lady who responded to my inquiry was very nice and polite. Communication was very simplistic. But I had to drop the warranty immediately because they tried to say that I had a pre-existing issue and it was not covering it. That was farther from the truth. I'm dissatisfied with the whole outcome.

The application process went very well. The reps were very knowledgeable. My air conditioner's compressor went out. I just took my vehicle to the shop and everything went from there. The shop got in touch with Endurance and they took care of their portion after a couple of days. But they didn't cover a part that's usually covered and that was very irresponsible of them.

My truck went down. Endurance would only cover $1,800 of the truck because they tried to say that the truck was only worth $1,800 in value when it was worth $6,000. They wouldn't fix the full repair. The shop did a horrible job. They put my moldings in backward. There were all kinds of wrong with it. The air can tube was not put together back right. I had to take it somewhere else to have the AC system depressurized. Then Endurance didn't want to talk to me about it. It took three weeks before my car even got worked on because they would pick their guys’ time.
I've had a policy with Endurance for over a year with my Impala, but I added another vehicle. 50 days later, my AC went out. I took it up there. Endurance only wanted to cover $1,800 with a $4,200 bill. I had to pay the rest of it. Before, they did my rear end and didn't send an inspector out. They paid $3,200 on a truck that was barely worth five grand and they replaced that. This truck is newer with fewer miles and they said it's only worth 1,800 bucks. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to Endurance. Once my policy is over with the Impala, I will never mess with them again. They are not time efficient. They are always trying to cut a corner to make extra money.

As far as price and coverage, Endurance was the best. I had a claim for the evaporator coil and the actual place I took it to went through the claims process. It took almost two weeks because the claims person had to go in and look at it. Endurance gave me a loaner. I'm pretty satisfied. I had an oil cooler go earlier in the year, and they said they didn't cover that, which I believe they should have. It's the actual mechanical part of the car. So, I was kind of baffled that it wasn't covered. I called and complained, and they just kept saying that they don't cover that part.

The renewal process at Endurance was good. The person that I spoke with explained that the policy would bring the car back to coverage as if it was a new car. The rep had me listed on there and my mom, and then my sister who really does most of the driving. She said I could make changes to whoever was on the policy as soon as they had that information.
However, when I called back to say, “I live in Kansas, I'm not driving the car. I don't need to be on there,” it was a very difficult process. It still doesn't have the people that should be listed on there correctly. Even going in for claims, it was a more difficult process. They weren't very helpful. The last claim that my mom had, it got to the point where they threatened to take them to Better Business Bureau ‘cause they were refusing to pay a claim that they should have paid. The process was not very good with them. It was difficult working with them. I would not recommend them to anyone. I've asked my mother to end the contract with them as soon as possible.

I was very happy with what Endurance did. My vehicle was vandalized and they messed up my brake line. They put something in my brake line that wasn't belonging there. At first, I was upset. Endurance didn't want to go and pay for the claim that had nothing to do with that at all. It was the rear end that I had a problem with. I went ahead and had to show them everything. But after that, they were fine. They took care of everything like they should and it was great.

I had a transmission replaced four months in and Endurance dropped the ball every step of the way to the point I had to contact my congressman as well as the owner, Richard. I spoke with him on the phone. They broke the contract and they also broke their own policy. I had to basically do their job. They admitted to not doing their job and they almost didn't pay for my transmission, but I had documents.
I showed them proof of every single oil change, including all evaluations, and they were astonished that I had all my ducks in a row. If it says it on paper, they're gonna do it. They may not do it for somebody else, but they will do it for me. Outside of that, they offered me a free month. I told them, "I don't need the money, I need you just to follow through.” There were no shows. It was an epic fail. I told the owner, “Your people were nice and respectful. No one was ever rude. Everybody handled themselves professionally on the phone. But your third parties were not good, acquisitions as far as having contracts with.” Once I spoke with the owner, they got everything fixed for me.

My last claim to Endurance was for a transmission replacement. They sent me to a used transmission place. That transmission became bad, so I had to take it back to the shop for them to replace it. The transmission was under warranty. The place they came from didn't have another one, so they reimbursed Endurance. I ended up buying another transmission myself. I don't have Endurance anymore. They canceled me because I hadn't paid, but I hadn't paid because I was trying to get the transmission resolved. They just canceled me for non-payment. The people from Endurance are hard to get ahold of. It was also hard for the car place to get ahold of them. It's just hard for everybody to get ahold of them when it's time to deal with something. Leaving a message doesn't work, too.

Talking with an agent was like talking with a used car salesman, didn't get far with me so he connected me with his sales manager, sound familiar? I finally agreed to a term, I wanted wanted a warranty coverage for a little security. The price is pretty high but the coverage looks good. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I can't comment on the service. Didn't feel comfortable about my decision at first, but will keep it for now. Can cancel the contract at any time of the term.

We've used their service twice. One was an air conditioner repair and the other had to do with the transmissions. Everything was covered. I just had to make the $100 deductible. The garage handled it and I didn't have to do anything.

I had to get a new transmission and a new oil pump. The place had my truck for a month, and I was just waiting on them to send somebody out. It took a while for Endurance to approve it once somebody came out and looked at the truck, but I know it takes a while for the process to go through and whatnot. Everything went well.

I had an issue with a gasket. The dealer inspects the car, finds the problem and sends me pictures. Endurance pays immediately. You just have to submit the invoice and they will send the money to the dealership. I only have to pay the deductible. They have great service. Having them is so easy for us.

My experience with Endurance was pretty horrible. My vehicle was in the shop for 46 days and they were delaying the approval because they wanted the literal invoices for my last three oil changes, which are all in CARFAX. So, they just left me high and dry. I probably had 30 phone calls with them that I had to make throughout that process to get them to do their job. That was the first time I had to use the warranty service, and I plan on canceling with them. They were really trying to do everything they could to not do their part and pay properly.
Also, their attempt in dodging my ability to speak to the person with the power to do anything with this was ridiculous. They would bounce me from service department rep to service department rep and would never allow me to speak to someone that holds a higher ability than them. They would transfer my call. I'd be on hold for 30 minutes at a time. They were doing everything they could to avoid addressing my issues. I would never refer them to anyone. I would highly refer against them if any of my friends asked.

I purchased their "Superior Package". I was told at the time that everything would be covered and that they were a serious company not like all the rest of the companies in the market. My monthly rate was $137. About 6 months after I purchase the coverage my vehicle needed servicing. I took it to the dealership and they informed me that there were three issues that needed immediate repair. The first issue was related to broken ball bearings. The second was a brake caliper not working properly and the third was a belt that was warned down. I told them that I had Endurance Warranty coverage, that there would be a deductible, but they had to contact them first.
Well, two out of the three issues were not covered. The only thing that was covered was the ball bearing. They deemed the other two issues to be "normal wear and tear"?. Well, anything that breaks in a vehicle can be "normal wear and tear". I was left with an $837 bill. They covered about 300 (400 minus the 100 deductible). The coverage I received was ridiculous for the amount of premium I was paying. Their promise of being a serious company was just false advertisement. Their promotional materials are misleading at best.

I'm not happy with the place I took the car to be repaired. But Endurance has been great. Their customer service has been excellent. I like the ease of doing business with them, their due diligence, making sure that stuff isn't put on the bill that shouldn't be there, but also making sure that they get the job done. They did a really good job. They were easy to work with. Endurance did everything it should have with my claims for the air conditioning and heating system. I've had other extended warranty companies that I've done business with in the past, and they were not anywhere near as professional and efficient as Endurance is.

Endurance was horrible. Recently, my car's been out of commission for two months. I had some work done. I said, “Let's get this other thing fixed.” They required some oil maintenance. I got a 7 series BMW. I take care of my car and I knew that I had an oil leak so I had to use thicker oil. According to BMW, I should use thicker oil. However, because of the place where I got the oil done, they're not familiar. So, they wanted to put in 0. I said, “No. Put in 5.” On the receipt, they said, “The manufacturer rep asked 0, but the customer wanted 5, a heavier weight.” Their claim adjuster saw that and denied my claim. But it's clear. They had to show something. I said, “You are going by this guy’s statement on this receipt? You're not even looking at the manufacturer’s statement?”
I had to go to the BMW webpage, pull down the PDF of the owner's manual and take a screenshot of the page. It didn’t state the oil that I put in was 1 to 4, recommended. Took two weeks for me to get that overturned because somebody did not do their work. I had to do their work for them. Every time I got a claim, I gotta make them do their job.

I asked specific questions before I took the Endurance policy. They defrauded me into taking the policy. Once in the policy, I'm stuck in a position where I have no choice but to wait. If something goes wrong, then I'm stuck even further, which is what happened. They promised all these things that were to be covered. Not one rep would give me an answer.
They lied about everything. The whole thing is misleading. Your vehicle gets bothered. There's a problem after the first 30 days, within the first 60 days, it's still not considered covered. It's ridiculous. Sometimes they also send us people that will answer and have had either good feedback or bad feedback. I had a speed control sensor that went on the transmission. I had to pay for that. They wouldn't pay for my radiator or my condenser. They wouldn't pay for the air conditioner because they rotted out because of rust. What am I paying an insurance policy for if a little bit of rust is gonna prevent them from paying for a part?
The supervisors and the people in the underwriting department are disgusting and despicable. They're rude, obnoxious, controlling, manipulative, demanding, and absolutely wired. They wouldn't even accept the amount of money that it was gonna cost per hour. They forced my dealership to have the manager write a letter to tell them how much money it was gonna be, and they made them send it multiple times. They demanded the letters and insisted they wouldn't get paid and held the dealership hostage until they did so, and wouldn't allow me. Then they lied, told me they were gonna cover my rental. They didn't, they only covered a few days. They manipulated me and they stole my money. I'm handicapped and on a fixed income. They're lucky that I'm not hiring an attorney and suing them.

I called and was connected to Mrs. Kayla ** who spent as much time as need (a lot) explaining and clearing up some of the misinformation I had received when signing up. By the time I got off the phone with her I had a clear understanding about my policy. Endurance has Mepco handling their finance. Endurance kept calling me and saying that they haven't gotten paid. I tried 2 different finance companies to pay them and when I called them they said, that they were paid but looking into it they said the checks weren't cashed. So Endurance canceled my warranty and when I called Mepco they said they haven't received my check and towards the end they wouldn't even check to see what happened to my checks. Both banks had the correct address, so I don't know what happened. Can't tell you how many phone calls was involved. Was a time consuming on my part and I didn't like the whole process they have. Endurance also lied to me when getting this warranty. I asked questions like, "Does it cover spark plugs and coil?" and the person at Endurance person said, "Yes. It's part of the engine." Well, it isn't which isn't a big deal but know what you're selling.

The plans that were offered were wonderful. I had a good experience signing up. I used the service for an alternator issue. I took my vehicle to their extended dealership and they were the ones who dealt with Endurance. The only thing I had to pay for was the deductible. Having the warranty is great.

So far, it's been extremely professional on Endurance's end. I had one claim and the dealership did all of that. It went smoothly. The air conditioner went out on the vehicle and I took it to the dealership. They contacted Endurance and filed the claim. Endurance sent somebody out there to check on it and within a couple of weeks, they had fixed my air conditioner. I paid my deductible and that was it.

I took my vehicle to the shop and the shop called Endurance. The rep looked at my vehicle. They told me I had to have a rental car, but that Endurance wouldn't do that. That's the only thing that upset me, because I didn't have a credit card so I had to go without a car. Other than that, Endurance came through for me so I have no problem with them.

I have some good luck with Endurance, but I also had a lot of bad luck with it. When I first bought it, I put the vehicle in the dealership, and then they mostly wanted to negotiate a lot with the pricing. I was also lied to because the gentleman that sold it to me said that my vehicle was about 95% covered, which means I had pretty much had everything covered. But when I took it to the dealer, there were some issues with the leak that I had. They said, because I didn't get the seals and gasket, it was not covered. But I told the gentleman on the phone, I did get it. I had to come out of pocket a couple of thousand dollars on that first run. I was able to get some stuff covered, but not everything that was supposed to get covered from what I originally thought. Before that happened, I was so happy with Endurance that I bought a second policy for my wife's vehicle, which now I don't think is a good idea.
One time, the vehicle broke down on my job, so I had to get it towed. I towed it to Firestone because it's a little bit cheaper than the dealership. Then they ran it through the warranty and Endurance didn't want to pay for anything even if the radiator blew. I was responsible for about a little over $1,300. But, Firestone said, “I'm gonna work with you because that's the last I'm gonna do. Try to get a cheaper part, get it overnighted so you can have your vehicle back again by tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll pay for it.” They were able to do that and then Endurance okayed it. They paid about $1,000 out of the $1,300. I only had to come up with 300. But it was still a headache because it was something that I shouldn't have to pay for.

Signing up with Endurance was easy. I got on the phone with one of their agents, and we talked a little bit about my concerns and expectations for my daughter's car. I wasn't gonna sign up right then because I was a little gun-shy seeing that I had been burned before. She was giving me a discount if I would make a decision right then, and I said, "I can't just pull a trigger like this right away." Then she gave me a 24-hour window that I was still able to save that piece on there. She wasn't pushy at all. I talked to her for a little bit, and then she was very nice about letting me have 24 hours to just kind of process things and do a little homework of my own. Then, I called her back. After that, everything was fine. Thankfully, so far, I haven't needed to make a phone call but I know that I feel much more comfortable now than I have in the last few months, so that's good.

The first time I had car problems, I was able to use my warranty for my engine light being on. They fixed it. They also did something that had to do with my transmission. Everything was covered. I only paid the deductible which is 100. But I took my car in on a Monday and I didn't get it back until Wednesday the following week. I'm a social worker so I need my vehicle. The reason for the delay was because I had to wait for somebody from Endurance to go out there, look at it, and then the shop had to order the parts. I was stressing because of that, but they got it done.

Endurance is good as far as paying claims. I just had an engine put in my truck, $7,000 worth, through Endurance. The dealer took care of it and they worked between each other. I didn't like the process of taking as long as it did to get to where we needed to get to however. It could have taken a week or two earlier than what it did.

My mechanic had a problem with Endurance about two years ago. They got to replace a line and that was not covered. The line leaking was what caused the problem and he went back and forth. Endurance didn't pay him because I did. And then in the recent big job done on my Jeep Wrangler, it took a week by the time Endurance got an inspector there. And after the inspector came, it took them five days to have their master reviewer look at it and make an approval. I was not happy with that at all. And just as an aside, when I went into the dealership, the regular guy that I normally go to said, “Today's your lucky day because, as of tomorrow, we're not accepting Endurance anymore.” He said that Endurance used to be a great company and they used to do a lot of work with them but now, it went the opposite way.
In the beginning, I had a transmission changed. Everything was a little bit slow but it was done. But now, you can't move your car. Once you put the mileage in, you got to leave it in the shop. So, the first thing the mechanic did was check the mileage, which was on a Friday. So, I figured it'd be approved on Friday. The guy said he would try to get it to me before the weekend but Endurance didn't approve it till Tuesday. So all in all the process was an ordeal.
This is a big dealership and on the wall, they’ve got a do-not-want list. When you come in and make your appointment, there are three guys that deal with the company. The guy just looked on the wall and the last guy was up against the wall. He told me to look over shoulder and I did, and there was a list of four other companies with the hall of shame. And the next time I went in there, Endurance made it to the wall. I still get a tremendous amount of advertising from them, not knowing that I'm a customer, on my emails. And whatever it is, the company has got a problem.

The experience with Endurance was not complicated at all. They walked me through the whole process and I ended up buying a second plan for my other car. My wife had a vehicle accident and it was the front left ball bearing needed to be replaced. And there were some other items in the car that needed to be fixed or updated, and we did that at the same time. One of which was a heads-up display.
Because of the number of items that had to be repaired, they sent out an adjuster to make sure they were on the up and up and nothing was fraudulent. But it took a little longer for that adjuster to get out there to see the vehicle, which is the only downfall of Endurance. It took close to three weeks for the adjuster to be notified and to come out, and for Endurance to make their decision. We weren't quite happy with that. But we had a very small bill at the end and we were ecstatic with it. There's a certain amount of time for each item that needs to be fixed on a vehicle and I don't know if Endurance covers that but they covered nearly everything that we needed to get repaired on my wife's car.

The signup process was easy and fast. But they could explain how much they are gonna cover. I didn't know that they would only cover $150 an hour for the mechanics. I took my car to the dealership and they get paid 200 something an hour and I covered the difference.

There were a couple of moments where I was a little disappointed with the warranty after I found out from where to where it covered. Also, I tried to redeem the oil change one time, but the redemption was so complicated that I gave up and just paid out of pocket. I didn't want anything to do with it. They have a good policy. I had a claim for my lifters on my jeep. At first, they wanted a lot of information like my last three oil changes. I took my truck to the dealership and an inspector came out. Then he had to have another inspector come out. But after all was said and done, the problem got fixed. I only paid $100. Communication and customer service was cool.

I had a claim and I was really unhappy. My shop said that Endurance was only going to cover a not-as-good part to replace the part that had broken. I paid for the best part because I can't have my vehicle breaking down and they paid for some of it. They also took over two days to get out there and have an adjuster look at it. The whole process took longer than I thought it needed to and their communication with me and with the shop was terrible. I was very disappointed.

The first quote I got was not genuine. It was the highest quote I ever heard. So Endurance threw in a lot of stuff and knocked out some things in order for me to get it. Then, I had a claim for the lifters and even though they paid for it, it took them a week to send an inspector out. The dealer had already had my car five days before. Also, I had to call them three times about when the inspector is coming out. After a whole week, it took them about another week and a half to get back to the dealer to let them know if they're gonna pay for it. It took almost a month for them to pay for it. It was ridiculous.

My Endurance warranty was supposed to be able to service my vehicle for something as simple as an air conditioner. At one point, they had to send somebody out to make sure that the people had the car. It ended up with my car being in the shop from August to November 4th for air conditioning problems. It went in there on five different occasions. Every time they claimed they fixed it. Now my air conditioner works. But my heater doesn't because they didn't do it right. I just refused to take my car up there and do that all over again knowing I'm paying $113 a month. Endurance had flat-out told the dealership, "We don't do that part." It was sheer professionalism on the phones. They, in essence, tried to reassure me that everything would be great. But then, the service company would call and say, “They said they can't do this."

I was dealing with the transmission and starter situations of my car. I gave my card to the dealership and they just took care of the process from there. But the service from Endurance could be better with regard to the way they handle the rental cars and reimbursing you. In my case, they gave me the information for Hertz and I rented a car at their rate. And now, I'm waiting on them to reimburse me and they said it would take so many weeks. But other than that, they got the job done. The second time I used them, they sent someone out to check because of the amount that the car repair would cost. They did that in a short fashion time and approved the work. The first time, it was less money and they approved it right on the spot.

The car needed a ball joint and an idler arm. I called them up about it. But they said that my policy doesn't cover that. I was disappointed. I called them yesterday and they said they would email the policy to me. But when I got the email, I opened it up, and there was nothing in there about the warranty. So far, I'm not happy with them at all.

With my recent experience with Endurance, I wasn't happy. I didn't get a refund for my towing. When you would try to ask people questions, they would tell you, "Let me transfer you from here to here." The claim also took a week and a half to get approved. They sent a third party to come out and review what the dealer had told them. My car was towed from the West Side back to Firestone. It was a waiting game for them to come out and review if the repair could be done. Then it was iffy. I haven't heard from anybody since it was completed. Also, they only were willing to give me a five-day rental, but my car was down for three weeks. So I was trying to sparingly use because they wouldn't extend to give me past the five days. I ended up only using two days. But I was grateful that they fixed it. They honored the claim, 'cause they ended up having to drop a new transmission.

Endurance backs their warranties and pay out very well. I had an insurance policy with them and they gladly paid out claims regarding my account that I needed repairs on. Everything was smooth. They never gave me issues with any of my claims. So, most of my claims are covered and for the most part, they've been all around a good company. Setting up with Endurance is very simple and it was very easy to do over the phone. They went over their plans and explained how much the cost was, and there were no hidden cost or fees. They were very upfront with their pricing and they gave us a discount. They offered me the best plan they could possibly offer for my car. It was an excellent experience with Endurance.

The rep and I connected and I liked him a lot. I kept Endurance even though my wife had told me to cancel. I'm disappointed though. I found out later that there are several parts of the warranty that are good for one year, like the wheels and tires. I wish that had been emphasized a little more because that was something that I was interested in. I thought also for some reason, it was probably my misunderstanding, that it included gap insurance, which it does not. So, I bought my wife some gap insurance from the dealership. Endurance seemed like it covered everything. So, it was probably an assumption I was making. It'd be nice if somebody could send me an email and touch base with me again. Then that would be a good reminder and I can print that off and stick it in my file.

I was sitting at a drive thru and my piston blew out of the engine in my truck. Endurance was able to help me out with that. There are some things that are not covered. The most out-of-pocket I've ever spent with the repair is $1,100 at a dealer, but the rest was covered. So Endurance has been very good. One thing that they could improve on is the turnaround time for a rental car to get back and forth to school and to work. We got to understand that it takes a second to get approved. You got to figure out how long your vehicle is going to be down. The last time I went most recently to get some stuff done on the truck, my truck was down for a week and a half and it took me three days to get a rental car. So other than that, I love Endurance. When it runs out, I hope to reengage and extend another one.

The service through Endurance was horrible. Every time I needed something fixed, they never fixed it. The shop said I needed an engine. They made me tear the engine down, to find out they didn't even cover it when they told them exactly what was wrong with it before. I got the engine torn down, so I had to take a loan out that was about 7,000. They said in my contract, in small print, it was excluded for excessive oil consumption. We told them before we even had them that it's burning oil and white smoke is coming out. They said that that’s exclusion E but they didn't tell me that when I signed up.
When I signed the contract, they should’ve told me, “These are exclusions in this contract.” They made it sound good, but it wasn't. I also had a brake problem, but then there were some exclusions on the brake stuff. Then, I had to come out of $1,200 for a new brake system. Everything that had brakes on it, they didn't cover. They couldn't help me out with anything.

I called Endurance and they promised the world. I signed up but they didn't give me the world. Our deductible’s supposed to be $100. Not so long ago, they paid 150 on a bill and we ended up paying 500. We had a brake job done. They didn't pay for rotors but just paid for the brake pad. They should have paid more than that. On top of that, we had a breakdown not too long ago and the battery went bad. My husband has the automatic jumper that he can use to restart our GMC Sierra but it wouldn't work so we called the number. My husband told the rep that he tried to jump the car but couldn't get it to start. The girl on the line told him they were going to send somebody out to jump the car. A guy came over and used my husband's equipment. He came with no equipment.
He then said, "You need a tow truck. Call them back.” The rep told me they can't get a tow truck for another 72 hours. I asked why and she said our insurance got it like that. It was just ridiculous. We were out of town. Where are we gonna stay? Luckily, we broke down by a car dealership and it was 90 something degrees. A man came out and told me I could come into his office and cool off with the air conditioner until we decide what we were going to do. We are not pleased with Endurance but we still have them because they get our money every month. They’re a bunch of liars.

The store did an oil change and they had changed a wiper on the back. They found that I had my hub bearing messed up. But Endurance did not approve that. The Cadillac store wanted to charge me 1,600. I got another quote from Pep Boys for 1,200. But they didn't want to deal with the insurance and didn't even bother calling. I had another mechanic look at it. He said the hub bearings are attached to the transmission on some vehicles and he didn't understand why it was not approved by Endurance. I'm still working on that. The noise is getting worse.
I was very dissatisfied. But I had one agent help me out a lot. I had a claim for my radio system that went down and that wasn't approved at first. But a glitch was found on that one and Endurance approved it. I'm still seeing how good this insurance is that I'm paying for. It looks good on paper. But now that I'm going through it, I'm finding the little glitches here and there. I had some problems but some problems have been solved. Endurance compensated me with, “Okay. I'm sorry. Your next payment would be free.”

The process was too long and I didn't like it. They paid for the repair on some engine components. But it still took days later for them to approve it. I had to go through some stuff and hassle, and on top of that, they only cover up to $150 for rental, but rentals are high. I got that at the latter portion of a part that I ended up with because there was a previous situation going on with the car. I had changed service advisors and Endurance told him that they had already told me what the issue was, and they weren't paying. But they never told me that. I had not talked to them about that. I had been waiting to hear back and nothing. They left a message on the old service advisor phone. So that explained that. But they never told me that they denied the claim.
I was in a situation where the company actually had parts. So it could have been quicker. They could have gotten to my car and it was no time wasted. But I was out here maxing credit cards out for rentals. I have a special needs child. So he gotta get to his therapies and to school. It was really disappointing. At the end of the day, that money that I spent out could have been on my part of what I would have had to pay that Endurance didn't cover. Then I was only reimbursed for the last three days of the rental.

I filed a claim and it turned out to be a major situation because it was a transmission problem. We took the car to the dealership in Greenville. It took a while before Endurance got someone over, and they finally did. Then they went through all those steps of analyzing it and making sure it was within their policy responsibility. They did finally come to that conclusion. Because it was an expensive item, they were looking for a reconditioned transmission. That process went on for over three weeks for them just looking for that. They have an option in the contract to do recondition equipment versus new and it's a considerable difference in price. So they were trying to find a reconditioned.
After a month, they gave up and paid Lexus for a new transmission. From the time that they agreed to that and pulled the trigger, Lexus had the job finished and the vehicle was back to us within two days. But it sat there for about a month. Fortunately, the dealership provided a vehicle for my wife to drive while they had our Lexus. So it worked out with the minimum deductible. The bill was about $800 and Endurance paid for it.
I've had other small items that Endurance came back and said, “This is not covered.” I had one that kind of ticked me off, which was an issue with some breaks. They asked my gal at the shop if there was any rust or corrosion involved and she said yes. So that was like a weasel clause in their policy if something's got rust or corrosion. The thing about that is that anything underneath the vehicle has rust and corrosion on it. So I was a little concerned about that, whether they were going to be hunting for a weasel clause on the transmission when it came right down to something serious. But they did the right thing with the transmission claim.

The claims process with Endurance was somewhat easy but there were lots of fine print. I got the most expensive monthly premium that you could get for their warranty and I am 60% satisfied. I had a transmission go out about five months into the extended warranty and they had said that everything was covered. If anything breaks, they’ll take care of it. They falsely claim that. When I went to get the transmission taken care of, they covered only $4,000 worth and I had to come out of pocket for the rest.

Endurance Auto Warranty wouldn’t pay for it because it was two days before they could do anything. So, I ended up having to pay cash for it out of pocket. It was 48 hours and that ticked me off. When they first got in touch with me, they were a bit overbearing in their communications. They were very aggressive and forceful. That tactic was below the belt. But nothing else had happened, so I haven’t done anything about it. However, if there was a better policy out there, I would do something different. Because with this day and age, $93 a month is a lot to pay. So if I found something cheaper, I'm going to change.

I had to get a transmission replaced and there was an oil leak on my vehicle that I had work done on. I was a little unhappy with the way that went. When they were doing the transmission, Endurance sent an inspector out to look at the transmission. While the inspector was there, the mechanics told the inspector, “Oh, hey. We found these oil leaks. And we want to notify the customer and we would like to add it to this claim.” Then the inspector told them, “Do not notify the customer. I'm here to inspect a transmission, not an oil leak. Do not notify the customer.” So I was very upset about that. The other thing that happened that arose from that was it cost me two separate deductibles to get the work zone, which was ridiculous. When my mechanic tried to notify Endurance so that it would have only cost one deductible.
When I called Endurance to say, “Hey, my mechanic tried to notify you so that it wouldn't cost me a whole separate deductible. You guys basically told them to be quiet about it. I think you guys should subtract the deductible.” They said, “There's nothing we can do. There's absolutely nothing we can do.” So they just got rid of me and got me off the phone. Apart from that, I was pretty pleased with how well everything went. But the way they handled that was a pretty big deal for me.

I had to have a water pump put in and the normal place that I take it to get my oil change doesn't accept extended warranties, so I took it to the dealer and I had no problem whatsoever. The customer service from Endurance was very courteous and were willing to get things taken care of immediately. I was happy that I went with them. I paid $100 deductible for a job that cost $1,500. You can't beat that.

We swapped over our contract to another vehicle within with less miles and ended up getting a much better contract than the one we had before. The guy we talked to, James **, deserves a raise and an award the way that he walked us through and he was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Yeah some people are those things but he was more professional, yet more down to earth and relatable as well as more transparent, beyond the norm. My air went out and the vehicle is still in the shop. I’ve been without it for about three months. Endurance told the lady they’re gonna pay for the break down but they can’t pay to put it back together. I gotta pay for it to put it back together. I didn't know I had a powertrain warranty on my car and I just got Endurance as an additional warranty. I’d use them again if I get a vehicle.

The service was not that bad. But it was kinda difficult because they didn't pay. They didn't cover my full claim for the engine. The bill came up to $12,000 and Endurance paid $5,025. They spoke to me and informed me that they go by based on the value of the car. I informed them that when I initially became a part of the Endurance family, they didn't ever mention that to me. They told me that the car was covered, under the engine was covered from beginning to end, and that nothing would have come out of my pocket, and I could use any company of my choice to do the job, as long as they approve of.
I was a little upset because had I known that this was gonna take place, I wouldn't have went to Volkswagen. I would have went somewhere where it was a little bit cheaper and more convenient if I knew that I was gonna be coming out of 7,000 out of my pocket as well. Also, Endurance charged me after I canceled my policy, and they still have not paid me the refund.

I've used Endurance quite often and I'm pleased with them. I don't really agree with the process, but the process is what it is. But it's been fine. I just wish that the turnaround time was quicker. I know it was costly and it’s a process. But they sent out an adjuster. They had to go back and figure out if they was gonna cover it. Then it had to go to somebody else's desk. It took a while to get an approval on it.

I didn’t like the sign-up process with Endurance. They should let you make up your mind and not pressure anybody to make them. I didn't find out which package I had till after I got ready to use it and the package that I got was alright but I wanted the best one.

I got a new car and it was used, but I already had to replace the sensors which was 500 bucks. I work full time, I'm 65, and things like that I can't afford. My mechanics said Endurance was faster than the other company.

I had one claim on my truck and everything went pretty smoothly. But Endurance did their third party adjusters who didn't show up when they were supposed to. So my truck was in the shop for almost a week longer than it should have been. Also, there are things they don't approve and they don't cover car rental until after the claim is approved. So if the adjuster takes a week to get to my truck, then it's a week without a vehicle.

The condenser went on my pickup truck, and Endurance wanted to use aftermarket parts, but I had taken my pickup to a dealer and they said they would not warranty it if we don't use genuine GM parts. So, Endurance made me pay 100 bucks extra because they found the parts cheaper, but they were aftermarket.

So far, Endurance is okay, minus the trickery thing that they did to me. I asked to make sure that everything was covered, including my control loans. But when I tried to put in a claim, they said, "Oh, we don't cover bushings." So I didn't understand the breakdown of the part. That's the trickier things that they like to do that I don't understand.

My 2010 Lexus LS 460 is covered with Endurance. I got it so that if something was to happen, I have somebody to help me with it. After that, I said to myself they ain’t what they’re saying that they’re supposed to be. The service department told me to call and when I called the first time, they acted like they were going to do it. Then the next call, I got one of their people who told me my claim was denied. She said when it's denied, that’s a done deal. I said, “A done deal? This is my first time trying to use y’all. How it gonna be a done deal?” Also, my car stayed in the shop for a month before they decided my claim was not covered. My husband got it on his truck, too. He said, “I don't see why they gonna deny you when it’s in that little book right there that this is covered.”
When I wrote them an email, I had on there that I wanted to know why my claim was denied. Someone called and told me to call the shop back and tell them to call Endurance. He said, “They’re talking right now. They're gonna do something about your claim.” They gave me a whole bunch of runaround. I'm very dissatisfied with the way they treated me. If that's the way they are gonna treat customers the first time using it, it doesn’t make sense to keep paying them.

I had a great experience with Endurance on my vehicle, but not so much on my wife's. In 2020, I had to get the water pump replaced. They brought an adjuster out. He looked at it and said it wasn't leaking, but it was. It had a pinhole in the pump. So, they refused to pay for it. I had to fix that. There was an issue with the time phases on the engine. I had to shell out quite a bit of money for that. There were a couple of incidents that I ended up having to pay. They wouldn't cover. My most recent claim was for a transmission issue that they covered. That was the only one they covered.

I got a warranty through Endurance but another company was fulfilling it. They sold me a policy that didn't cover anything that was important. Also, the company that was covering the warranty was really slow and took forever. I talked to Endurance and the rep switched me over to where Endurance themselves was doing the warranty and I've been a lot happier. Signing up was easy. My experience has been good so far.

It's always a battle for Endurance to cover anything that is supposedly under the extended warranty that I got. I was very clear on what I wanted when I was searching and looking at different options to do the extended warranty for my car. I asked for a bumper-to-bumper coverage, like if they were from a dealership. Endurance told me, “Oh, yes, absolutely. This is bumper-to-bumper.” Endurance doesn't send you all the documentation at the time. They just send you a little bit. You get the contract after you signed and paid. But they have a lot of exclusions that I don't think are necessary and that basically should be covered.
The first time that we used Endurance, they were protesting about the payment and then they said they covered it, but then they were not wanting to pay. The dealership had a hard time. It was an ordeal in itself. This last time that I used Endurance, it was something about the sensors. They were going off when it rained. You're driving and it gets water in it. So it's not sealed properly or something malfunctioned there. Endurance wanted to play semantics with it. They said, “But is it still working?” I said, “Well, yeah, it's going off, but it's not working properly when it's supposed to.” If you're driving and it's dry outside, but it's still beeping like it's sensing something. I took pictures and a video. So the dealership saw it. But then Endurance called me and said that they were not going to cover it. I asked them, “Why?” They said because it was still working.
I called Endurance and I was very frustrated. I told them it was malfunctioning. But their thing is, if it's still working, even though it's not working correctly, then it doesn't need to be fixed. That's their little game. We can go in semantics all day long and I will win the semantics game because I will. It's just ridiculous. I cannot be going driving and the thing automatically goes into the camera showing you the front of the car because it's thinking that there's something in front of it when there's nothing, other than the car in front of me, but there's no obstruction.
Endurance told the dealership to just turn the sensor and the alarm off and it'll be fine. So I would not be able to use the front camera. If something actually got in front of the camera, it will not set the alarm off. But you pay extra for these bells and whistles that you get in the car. I told Endurance I paid for the service to have it, not to have to turn it off so it doesn't bother me because it's not working properly.
I was so pissed off and I looked up the word "malfunction". I told Endurance and read it verbatim what it says as a definition. I told them, “You are wrong. I am right. This needs to be fixed.” They said, “Well, we're going to have a supervisor call the dealership." Then the service guy that is almost like a friend now said, “I don't know what you did or what you said, but they're going to approve it, and we're going to have it fixed.”

My experience with customer service was a love-hate thing. Some of the people were very easy to work with. But the first guy I talked to was rude and abrasive. I didn't like that. I questioned about something and it pissed him off. From the get-go it was like, "Yeah, we're gonna handle this claim." And then next thing I know, somebody comes up and says it's a commercial truck. I said, "No, it's not. In North Carolina, if you add weight to one, it puts a commercial tag on. That doesn't make it a commercial truck." That delayed the actual repair for eight days. I had to make a trip to the DMV and prove that commercial tags on one did not make it a commercial truck. That was ridiculous. It was 30 days from the time I took my vehicle 'til I got it back. I was just really not happy about that at all.
One of the ladies I talked to said, "We understand. Go get this for us and we'll get this processed." When I got all that done, adjusters still had to get involved and it just kept dragging out. When they decided that they were gonna take care of it, the dealership had a transmission ready to go back in but they opted not to use that and ship another one which took eight days to get here.
There was too much going back and forth and the claim wasn't getting done. They allowed $30 a day to rent a vehicle which was no good to me. You can't bring anything for $30 a day. I'm glad I got the insurance but the claim could have been handled differently and it could have been expedited. I didn't even bother to turn in a tow bill. There was one lady who helped me and she was terrific. But she doesn't make the final decision and I get a nasty call back. The guy just dragged it out way too long.

Endurance denied two claims for stupidity reasons. It was for my transmission, and the conductor plate was leaking fluid into an electrical harness. It’s going to short out the harness and blow the transmission, and I'm looking at thousands of dollars repair instead of just doing the 450 the man wanted to charge to do that. And his thing was, “When it doesn't work anymore, call us and we’ll replace it.” So, why should I drive a car knowing that I got issues, and it's going to eventually break down somewhere and strand me on the side of the road? But their inspector said it was seepage, not leakage, which is the same thing.
And while they had it, they were working on something else. So he wouldn't have charged thousands of dollars. He only wanted to charge 450 and Endurance wouldn’t even cover it. It took three days for them to come out and deny the claim. Also, I could not speak to anybody except some persons in Claims. They wouldn't tell the outcome of anything. They wouldn't take care of me, let me know what was going on, and why it has been denied. They just tell me it has been denied. I wish they would pay me back money I spent.

I took out this insurance on my vehicle to help with any issues that may arise while under my ownership. I started having transmission issues which was covered under my plan. I had this plan for 4 months shy of 2 years. I filed a claim and was told to get a quote for a new transmission and received a runaround. Finally I was told that my vehicle was not worth the value of the cost for a transmission. I took out this insurance because my vehicle was a 2008, if it was too old for coverage I should have been told this before being allowed to take out coverage. I have requested my money back from making monthly payments and I am once again being told the check is coming or it's in the mail. It's been a month and no check yet. This company is fraudulent and is a rip off when it comes to taking care of your vehicle repairs. I would not recommend anyone taking out this insurance, they will fail you!

I had an extended warranty from Endurance for a little over a year on my 2012 GMC Acadia, until I sold the car. During that year I had 2 repair claims and several claims for maintenance - oil changes, windshield wiper, etc. Each time the claim was processed and paid without a hitch. As long as the service/repair was expressly covered in the contract, Endurance paid it. If I needed an extended warranty again on an older model used car, I would definitely consider Endurance. They always treated me well.

Endurance has been able to take care of most things, but not everything 100%. The hard part is not knowing what they take care of and what they do. The process also took a little while. It took three days over the weekend then it ended up being six days. Once the claim adjuster came, we had to wait another day. I was without a car for so long. It worked out because my husband was gone, so I could take his car, but it was challenging. Trying to get something done could be quicker. The mechanic knew what was wrong, but they couldn't do anything until the steps with Endurance were done. Other than that, I was happy to be able to have saved some money on repairs that came up.

The customer service was pretty good as far as signing up. But as far as when I was doing my claim, I wasn't liking the service being done. Everything was all over the place, they didn't know what was going on. I was getting mixed information from different representatives and apparently, they had a lot of stuff in fine print. I decided to cancel Endurance because I had an issue with my cooling system in which the water pump went out. The fan belt burst because the water pump seized up. I got the car towed to my house, then I got it towed from my house to the dealership to get worked on.
Endurance told me that they were gonna cover the water pump but not the belt. With the technician doing his inspection, he found out it was more problem with the cooling system. So it went down all the way from the water pump to the thermostat housing was messed up, and also the thermostat. Endurance didn't wanna cover the thermostat or the thermostat housing because it's pretty much one component that cause the other components to go bad. After that, I got everything back. Then the technician at the Benz dealership told me, "Listen, now that we find out that everything is up and running, your head gasket is out, because the car technically is having a hard time starting, and a lot of smoke is coming out the tailpipe."
Endurance sent out an inspector to inspect the vehicle and came back and told me they were not gonna replace my vehicle or do anything pertaining to the gasket because a water pump caused the gasket to go bad. They were claiming that I was continuing to drive the car with the water pump out. But I said, "How can I drive the car if the car doesn't have a belt on it?" The car was dripping. They came back and told me to deny my claim of replacing the motor because Mercedes Benz didn't wanna just do the head gasket, because if you do the head gasket, the problem might come back again.

Endurance has a low deductible and they usually cover for bumper-to-bumper. I had them when I had my Mercedes Benz and now, my BMW. The dealership usually deals with them. They contact Endurance and let them know the repairs, and they contact me and let me know that they approved the repair. I referred three people to them already.

My truck needed an alternator replaced. I called for a tow, and it came on a Sunday. Then, it went to the dealership. It took them a day to diagnose it. They told me they needed an alternator, and Endurance approved the claim. We had the part the next day. So, there wasn't a hassle with the claim process. So far, having Endurance is worth it. They do provide some maintenance benefits too, so it seems about average. I don't feel like I'm paying too much and too little. The only thing is, I wish they had more of somebody to talk to on a Sunday about claims like if I had something unexpected.

I signed up over the phone. And the rep told me what my car qualifies for as far as coverage goes. The package that she offered was the one that I went with that had the most coverage. I wanted the engine to be covered and different ancillary things. She said that for the year of my car, because it's a 2011, that was the max coverage that I could get. We did the deal with Endurance in half an hour. It was easy to sign up for the down payment. So, that was cool.

I liked that Endurance did the oil changes and it was a little misconception in there, but I thought that they replace two tires a year and all the things that they were supposed to replace. The guy that I initially talked to said, “We cover oil changes. You get two tires per year.” There was something else he told me that they did. I was like, "Oh, okay. Cool. I'll go with this one." So, the oil changes are being covered. He never told me that they have to come out and inspect your car. So, when something went wrong in my car, the guy was like, "Oh, well, you got to leave the car for them to inspect." I was like, "What? So you've had it all day for you to figure out what's wrong with it." I needed to leave it for another day for them to come out and inspect it. Because by the time they finished it, it was late afternoon and nobody was coming out until the next morning.
So, I was like, "Oh, well, then you need to tell them that you need to pick me up from home, take me to work because nobody ever said that." A rental was provided the first time because they needed to get the car for about four days. The first time, the dealership told me that Endurance provided the rental but the dealership ended up having to provide that. I don't know if that was covered under the warranty part because they didn't tell me that. Then, the one time I called about the tire situation, they were like, "Oh, well, maybe there was a misunderstanding. But you only get two tires a year if your car breaks down on the side of the road and your tire goes flat." I was like, "So you're telling me that my car needs to break down on the side of the road and you will pay for the tire?" "Well, it depends on the tire." I said, "Okay. So if I got $160 tires on my car, you need to replace the $160 tires on my car." The rep said, "No. We don't do that, though."
I said, "No, you need to put the same tire that's on the car because that's what I'm gonna do. I'm not gonna go and get a Walmart tire when I went to a dealership and got these tires. I'm sorry. That's not gonna happen." I'm not gonna let my tires get to the point where I'm on the side of the road waiting on them or my roadside assistance to come to pick me up. So, I just bought all brand-new tires because I was under the impression that they pay for two.
I’ve had some work done to the car, and they did cover it but it had to be in two separate sections because for whatever reason, the dealership told me that Endurance wouldn't cover everything at one time. So, it would have to be two separate appointments. I told them I was not understanding that because now it's more time without my car.
They didn't even fix the second part that was wrong with my car. They said they don't cover it. I was like, "Wait a minute. Are you kidding me?" Initially, when we talked to them in the beginning, they covered the part. When I called them, I said, "So you don't cover this?" The guy was like, "Nobody covers that." I said, "I'm sorry. I'm not asking about the other people. I'm asking about Endurance. Because I was under the impression there was nothing that wasn't covered other than the catalytic converter. That's what the guy told me on the phone. That was it.”

In the beginning, it seemed that Endurance offered a lot of coverage. But now that I'm having to use it, it's like, "Oh no, we don't do that" or "You can only do that within the first six months" or "You can only do this within the first year". That was not confirmed with me and I don't like that part of the warranty. Everything is slowing down and now I'm having to worry about what they cover and what they don't. Even when I lost my keys and the warranty protected the key fob, it never covered that. It also never ended up covering my tires. It was very confusing to me.
The warranty has helped but do your homework with it. Today, I had to take my car in for something and I called them to make sure of the different coverages. I didn't want to be paying a deductible for something that wasn't even as big as the deductible. The rep was very rude about it. I had a three-way with the dealership and she was rude to the dealership rep as well.

Endurance has been great. My check engine light came on. I dropped the car off at the dealership and what came back was there was something wrong with the transmission and it would need a transmission valve body. I was without my vehicle for 11 days and I wasn't compensated for being without my vehicle, but, overall, I was very satisfied. It proves worthy to have a good car warranty because you never know when your car's gonna break down, and I would recommend Endurance highly to anybody.

My rack-and-steering went out and Endurance fixed it with no problem. Everything went so smoothly. But the part only lasted a couple of months and it broke but it was still under the vendor's warranty. When I contacted Endurance, they said they did their part and the vendor is obligated to do everything because it was still under warranty, which was completely understandable. But where things went left is because the vendor was out of stock of the part so they couldn’t provide it. They refunded the money to Endurance so Endurance could provide it and that's where the fight began. Endurance took the refund but they wouldn't give me the part. I was out of a car for months and I had to spend a whole bunch of money on transportation back and forth to work. It was a stressful situation.
I was gonna close my account with them over it but when I spoke to the specialist that was going to close out my account, she asked if I was willing to give her a 48-hour window just to give her one last chance to see what she could do. She winded up going as she could on the top of the food chain and they got the part for me. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be with Endurance anymore.

I love Endurance. They've always had my back. It's just they don't cover Teslas but for the Camry, it was great. Also, it's great overall with customer service. We had a problem with the alternator and something with the clutch. So, we put a claim in, and then we put the 100 down regarding those issues, and then Endurance paid for the parts and the labor. We saved 1,000-plus with that issue which was unexpected. We came out fixing other issues on top of that and only came out spending about 400, which is a lot more reasonable. Getting Endurance is a great idea and I would highly recommend it. I've had multiple claims and they haven't tried to get out of a situation that was on contract. They do what they're supposed to do.

I pulled up Endurance on Google and saw that they were pretty reputable through other forums. People were posting with real user reviews. I ended up going with them because my factory extended warranty expired. Setting up the program was easy. The guy I dealt with was very good and I would definitely deal with him again.
I had a claim for a water pump on my 2011 Jeep Liberty and that was easy. They approved the claim relatively quickly and they got it paid out to the dealer. On the whole, I don't think that I would probably end up going with Endurance again because it seemed every claim I had after that seemed to get denied. There were certain things within the claim and the contract specifically states what components are covered. The problem is some of those components that are not covered will end up leading to the failure of the ones that aren't covered. It'll end up costing them in the long term anyways. I would have to let my car have more damage to it before the claim would be covered, which I try to prevent, but they wouldn't do it. That was the issue that we've endured with Endurance.
Endurance needs to look at certain things pertaining to their overall operation. We need to look more in-depth at the claims that come in, especially if somebody says, "This component is failing," and "It's not covered." At the end of the day, it may be wise for them to cover that component. Down the road, a typical consumer may say, "I can't afford that outside of the warranty," and Endurance is gonna have to pay off for that component plus the other component. Even though Endurance met the claim requirements and had done what they had to do, they also have to take into account the humanistic standpoint of things. The problem you run into is that when you have those types of claims that come in, they have to look at it overall.
Right-out denial is definitely not in their best interest. It would be in their best interest to examine more what components are there, what could be good, what is not, what should be covered, and what should not be covered. If you have something that's failed and is a single component, deny it. But if you have a component that is basically going to lead to a chain reaction later on of being long-term damage or something like that that can end up leading to them having to pay out more long term, they need to look into that as well. Unless it's the highest tier plan, I'd probably tell people that that it's not in their best interest to do Endurance. With the list of components that are there, it's better to put that money into a savings account of what they would spend for it versus actually having to pay for Endurance.

I have the gold policy. I had an oil leak which they didn’t pay. It has been more than a week that I am trying to cancel my policy and they wouldn’t respond to my emails. I called several times and I spoke twice with a woman. I told her I wanted to cancel my policy and she said, "Wait I’ll transfer you." I waited for a half hour twice today, and other days, however, nobody picked up. This is the worst company.

Having a series of unfortunate events happening like having to buy a new motor and a new transmission for our vehicles, I was like, "You know what? I don't want to have to do this again. So I'm just gonna get insurance on it." Signing up for the Endurance coverage was easy. We had a claim for my husband's truck. We've had a little bit of difficulty. I don't think it was the smoothest experience, but everything worked out in the end.
As far as their reps, they have been really great, but some were not so much. I think the claims department has been the issue from what I can tell from the guy who fixed the vehicle. He said that he got a lot of pushback from claims even though they don't really have mechanical knowledge like he does. When he was trying to explain things, they kind of pushed him off a couple of times. He finally got ahold of someone that was able to listen to him and hear the problems that were going on. Overall, we're very satisfied with Endurance and we'll continue to use them and tell everyone I know about it.

I had the front struts replaced through Endurance, and all went well. I had the passenger seat replaced. The motor went out and I took it to the dealer because I thought maybe that was better. Also, the backup video camera went out. It seemed to work okay when Endurance's inspector came out, so he denied the claim.

When I called initially I bought a used vehicle with 90,000 miles on it after 50 days of having the vehicle the turbo went out late to find out it was denied because the tires were a little bigger than the stock tires. After a week being in the shop they deny the claim I looked at the contract only be disappointed that the variance was supposed to be 4% and bigger they said it 9% bigger. After I went ahead and cancel the contract they said they were disappointed that I would cancel it and they would attach another contract to it that would fix the vehicle with the tires that I bought it with. The company is a scam don't use them watch what you buy from Endurance.

I had my car towed to a mechanic shop and they found out that the issue was the transmission. They had found a used transmission to put inside the car, but Endurance took a while to get a claim set up. They took a while to get back to the mechanics. The mechanics were calling Endurance. Every number that they could get, they were calling them and they were on top of it. Endurance took a while to get the money for the transmission. So the used transmission wound up being sold and they had to get a brand new one. When it was a used transmission, the price was $6,000 but with the new one, the price went up to $9,000 and I had to pay $2,000. But they got it done.

We had to have the air conditioning and Endurance covered that, but then a problem that was 500 was found and Endurance said they don't cover it. Then another 300 was needed when they took the dash off, and I would have to pay for that. So, that cost me 800 cash out of my pocket that I am paying on because Endurance said they don't cover it. The first time I called, my car went dead, and I was down in Port Orange. I waited almost four hours and nobody came. I called three times. They said, Well, we're working on it. We're working on it." Finally, the tow truck driver pulls up and he was only around the corner from me but it took Endurance four hours to get ahold of him. That gives us a bad name. He asked me right off, "How long have you been waiting?" I told him. He said, "I was five minutes around the corner." He showed me on his phone where five minutes before he got to my house, he got the call from Endurance.

I had a claim to Endurance for the power converter and the transmission. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it, and I had to pay $100 out-of-pocket. I like Endurance. As far as that issue, it was smooth and they took care of it. We asked about the bearing. It was bad on the front driver's side. They said they won't cover it, so I had to pay that one out-of-pocket. When a person buys a warranty, usually, they think that almost anything that you go through the mechanic should cover it. I don't know why they said they won't cover it. I didn't like that one but the bill for the power converter was over $2,000, and that was my number one concern, and they took care of it. As far as that one goes, I'm okay with that.

The Endurance rep explained the policy but it didn't hit me what it actually covered on the car. There were also a couple of things that I saw on TV that he didn't offer me and he could have done a better job. But I called for the contract and I got it. I just hope that if I need anything, that they’ll cover me. Also, I’m military and I don't know if they gave me the discounts because the rep never explained it to me. I got discounts from the other company and it would have been cheaper if I went with them. But I still worked with Endurance because they were up on top.

Endurance has been good to me, and I would recommend them. I've only had one issue and that was the first claim. It was for a radiator that was leaking. I had the repair at the Ford dealership, and it took me almost two weeks to get my truck. The Endurance reps seemed, a couple of times, frustrated, but that was my only issue. After that initial experience, everything else has been fine. They've taken care of the claim in a timely manner, and it was only a $100 deductible as well.

Any questions that I had was answered properly and the young lady that signed me on was very knowledgeable of her job. But I don't like the company going paperless. I noticed that companies are doing it to save money but I'd like to see my policy in hand. Endurance sends it to your email and you have to print it out yourself. I had to argue and fuss with Endurance to get my engine together. We fought for a while but we eventually got the engine. I just left the mechanic’s place to get my vehicle and he said that there were some parts on the engine that he had to fix. The engine didn't come ready for installment like we thought it would. I ended up paying $80 a day for 20-something days of rental and Endurance only paid for five. If anyone asks about Endurance, I'd tell them to make sure upfront that they're gonna cover parts like the engine and the transmission. Endurance would pay for the small market stuff but you have to fight for the big stuff. That's my thing with them.

Endurance Auto Warranty offered a good deal. I'm satisfied with them, but I was under the impression that my vehicles were all covered from top to bottom, but the only one that came to wind that was covered was just the Cadillac. I didn't understand that the Cadillac was less than 80,000, so Endurance was able to cover that. Now, I have a rear main seal that is leaking. The major parts are covered, but the seals were not covered on my GMC and my truck. I was disappointed.
When I got my oil change the first time, I had to pay the bill first for the information that was needed on the bill. So, I paid the bill and I thought I submitted it, but I didn't get reimbursed for it. The second one, the young lady walked me through it and stayed on the telephone with me, and received the bill for the second one. Overall, other than not knowing about the mileage, I'm satisfied with Endurance. Customer service is good. Whenever I call Endurance, they tell me the problem that I'm having. They get to the root of the problem.

My experience with Endurance was not as smooth as I would have anticipated. They were replacing my transmission, and they held payment after the car was completed because they needed to get the core. I guess they rebuild these transmissions. So, they needed the core to have been picked up. None of which was arranged by me nor the shop. It was arranged by their vendor. So, it was kind of silly, and that put me out for two days. The core had been scheduled to be picked up two weeks before. Then that was canceled, all of which was done by Endurance's chosen vendor. It was kind of silly on their part to not pay because of fear that the core wasn't going to get back to the vendor and they would get charged for it. I was there for two days. On the first day, for about five hours, I was trying to get the shop to release the car because of their relationship with Endurance, and then get Endurance to send them money.
I fell on deaf ears. I hit a wall. I spoke to the management. They said, "There's nothing we could do." To me, that was really very unhelpful under the circumstances, and from a policy perspective, they'll do whatever they want, but it just doesn't make sense. I was angry at the shop, too. I told the shop manager, "When I brought you the car, you told me you accepted this warranty. So if you accept the warranty, and they already agreed to pay you, what does it make a difference if you get paid right now or if you get paid two days when they pick up the core or whatever the case is? What happens if the core wouldn't have been picked up for a week? Does that mean my car had to sit there for a week?" We went through that whole exercise. At the end of the day, both of them just kind of said it is what it is.

Purchasing with Endurance was painless. I picked the plan that I wanted and gave them my credit card. There was no upsell. I filed claims on my last two cars. I've had two different policies. The place I took the car to handled it. The only complaint that we had was getting an adjuster to come out. He was really slow the first time around. They kept the car for almost a month. The second time around, the adjuster came out faster. They only kept the car for a week. Overall, I love the warranty.

Endurance had more options available for what they would cover. I did a claim with them and they said that I hit a cap limit on my policy. They were saying that there was a certain dollar amount that they were willing to repair the vehicle for the total amount. They only covered $600. Because of the hassle that they caused on this last service that needed to be done, it took eight months to get the vehicle done. I ended up having to pay for most of it. Now, I don't have a warranty anymore. It was just frustrating. I'm not happy with Endurance and that was a terrible way to do business.

I’m very upset with Endurance. When I needed some transmission work done and I took it to the Nissan dealer, Endurance brought in their own transmission. It's working, but for how long? This is the only time I've ever made a claim, and they were gonna give me a refurbished? What happened to brand new? I called and told them, “Why are you doing this? Why are you giving me a used?” The rep said, “Because that’s the plan you got.” I said, “What do you mean that's the plan I got?” At the end of the day, the consumer is the one that takes it in, regardless. I’ll never recommend them.

I had the alternator replaced earlier this year through Endurance and it was quick and simple. My last experience with Endurance was pretty good. The claim was for the transmission and they pretty much paid most of the repair. It was simple to call in and get it assessed. My car was back within a week. The only issue I have is that I kind of feel like I'm penalized for using it. I maxed out and then they dropped me.

I need a copy of everything that this coverage covers, and when it should be activated. Because my car is from 2006. It’s a Toyota. It’s got a good motor. Recently, I had some engine repair and it seemed like the wait time for the amount of time that my car was down was quite long. It was in the shop for almost four weeks. I was without a car for a week until I was able to get a rental before Endurance authorized the repairs. But other than that, it went fine. Once I was able to have a loaner vehicle, it went pretty smoothly.

I've had a transmission repair but it took longer than I wanted. Other than that, it was fine. Endurance is a lot better than CarShield. They did what they said they would do within the contract.

We just started with them a month ago and have not had to use it for anything yet. Service is covered on both vehicles and we are happy with what we have. I can’t wait to be able to say they covered serious car repairs and saved us a great deal of money!!!

The signup was easy. The rep was nice and polite. She went as far as to try to get me a family discount to where instead of paying one price, it was 20% lower. But I had to do a warranty service through them and it took a month for me to get any kind of solution. They gave me a car for five days but I had to pay out of pocket 'til they gave me a car for a week. After the week, I still had to come out of pocket for two more weeks because the car didn't get fixed until October the 2nd. I spent about $2,000 on rental cars bouncing from car to car hoping that they would reimburse me some of the money I spent.
