I purchased an auto warranty from Endurance for my brand-new truck, and it was a good experience. I googled extended warranties and Endurance came up as the number one of the top 10. I haven't had the opportunity to use their services, but I would definitely recommend them to people as far as the selling experience.

I have a year-old Audi and I bought it at 336 bumper-to-bumper. I bought a catastrophic engine and drivetrain warranty to 100,000 too. Normally, I trade vehicles every two years but I've had the car for a little while now and I really like it. I only have 26,000 miles on it and if I'm going to keep it, the repairs on it would be rather expensive. It's not that those costs bother me, but the way I look at all insurance is for a fixed amount of cost and a $200 deductible, that limits my out of pocket expenses.
I did a lot of homework on the different warranty companies, tons of websites, and Better Business Bureau searches. There is no business that's going to satisfy 100% of all clients but the thing that I kept finding over and over was that Endurance was extremely well-rated. When I talked to their lady rep, she was very nice, informative and presented the different options. She gets top marks for explaining everything. I wanted the premier plan and was not interested in the budget stuff in this kind of thing.
I still got 11,000 miles of manufacture bumper-to-bumper before I'm worried about the Endurance plan kicking in and now, I've got bumper to bumper to 81 so that makes me feel a little better. But insurance with anything is better to own but not need than to need it and not own it. Overall, I would recommend Endurance to people that might have higher-end automobiles. On any German-made cars, if it's got the label of an Audi or Mercedes Benz on it, the mechanic is going to charge 750 bucks as you walk in the door because as they say, "If he can afford this car, then, he can afford to pay me."

After doing an online research, I decided to sign up with Endurance because of their mileage warranty. I also dealt with other companies, but they offered a same time frame way less, half a mileage warranty coverage. I had a very good experience with the Endurance rep. She was informative, gave me a good description of what was covered, and offered different methods of paying it, whether it’d be all upfront or payments, and let me know what discounts were available. I then got a discount on down payment for the monthly payments. The whole process she explained seemed easy and it was easy to set up, and compared to the other quotes I got, Endurance offered significant savings and extended coverage.

Endurance Auto Warranty had the best ratings from what I could find on the Internet. We just bought a brand new car and I wanted to get an extended warranty on it while it was new. The Endurance rep was good, informational, and knew what he was talking about. I canceled the warranty, though. They would have been good. But the dealership offered a good price on the manufacturer's warranty and I felt comfortable with it.

I just paid my vehicle off, and so I had money available to pay for a warranty. Also, my vehicle was approaching 100, 000 miles and I wanted to get a warranty before I cross 100, 000 miles. I saw Endurance online and I researched briefly. And then, I put my information and their guy called me and talked me into it. He's very knowledgeable, upfront, and explained things clearly. He seemed like a nice guy, too. The purchasing process went smoothly. Endurance is good, and my experience was quick and easy.

Endurance seemed to have the best price and they gave me a discount for paying upfront with cash. I was given a good enough explanation about the benefits, how to file claims and the like. I've had the warranty since the mid of October for the peace of mind knowing that I have something to cover me if something happened to my pre-owned car. But when my O2 sensor went out and the mechanic that was looking at the car called Endurance, they won't cover it. That was kind of strange to me and my experience was really not so good.

I purchased an extended warranty policy about 4 months ago and about a month ago while driving my car shuts down in the middle of the highway. Thinking I was fine and would be covered by the warranty company, I was sadly mistaken. They had me tear down my engine and which is 1700 bucks and sent out a technician and said my number two rod bearing spun out and it came from normal wear and tear and they would not be covering it. So I am stuck paying 1700 dollars and they offered to cancel my account and redound my money. This is by far the worst business I have ever done business with and should be shut down. They are rude and they are con artist.

When I contacted them, their rep treated me excellent and tried to explain everything. They made the payment very easy. They were very professional, cooperative, answered every question I asked and assisted me. I'm a veteran and a senior citizen and they made a whole lot of possibilities, so I was thoroughly happy. I was due for an extended warranty as I just reached 40,000 miles on my jeep. Endurance called me and they had a knowledgeable and informed rep who was very easy to communicate with. The application process was done on the same day and I did automatic payments with them which was pretty perfect. I've had the warranty close to a week now and my experience was overall simple and fast. I really appreciate the option to withdraw from the program if I ever want to and I’m not committed to the 24 months plan that I’m on. I also like that they don’t use second-hand parts and they manufacture parts. I have a lot of consumer freedom and I can take my car in any Chrysler dealership and I don't need to send it to a specific shop that the company allows.

I had an existing auto warranty, but reading over it, I decided that it wasn’t what all I thought it was. So I was looking for something else to see if there was anything better out there. When I talked to Endurance, their customer service is what sold me. They were great on top of all the information and the process was not difficult. I explained to the gentleman on the phone what I was looking for and he quickly explained to me about them being on top of things, that this has been a good company, but the fees were not cheap. And I really appreciate that they were upfront with me about it.
When I told him what I was paying now, he took the time to see what plan they had that wouldn’t increase my payment so much. It was wonderful. My payments did go up about $20, but I’d pay extra $20 for a good customer service. I couldn’t have ask for a better experience to be honest about it. Greatest experience with customer service that I believe I’ve had in years from any company. That's why I’ve already recommended them to a couple of people.

We were offered an auto warranty at dealer but it’s expensive so I went online to check what else was available. The rep that I talked to was very positive and it sounded like he knew what he was doing. He was professional and friendly. Hopefully, we never have to file a claim. But down the road if we do have a claim, then we’ll have a better idea whether we’ve made a good purchase or not.

When I bought my Endurance auto warranty at the end of July, the first guy I talked to was very personable. And then, the second guy was pretty efficient. The only thing I didn't like was the first guy told me I could make an arrangement to make two payments to pay the whole thing off. But then the other guy told me no, I could only do monthly payments. And because I was busy, I just accepted what the second guy told me even though it wasn't what the first guy said. But I wasn't happy.
But I guess I have what I need, because I got email confirmation right away and then I got mail on what the policy is. I would probably recommend Endurance because I had talked to other company and two people got mad with me because I was asking them to tell me what it covers and what the price is. I told them I'm calling four companies and that I'll call them back. There was always the pressure of having to decide now or you don't get this prey.

I used to have an auto warranty when I purchased my car. But it was with a different company, and it was through the Toyota dealership. And because I rarely utilized it, I cancelled the plan because I didn't really feel like I needed the services. But then, when things would come up, I started seeing it different. Like if my car blew out, and if I took it in, I didn't have to pay for anything. I thought it would be easier for me if I got back on having a car repair insurance. Just to help offset the cost. And looking and trying to research the company that I previously had, I stumbled across Endurance on the internet.
On my first attempt to give Endurance a call, I talked to an agent who was very thorough and knowledgeable in his job. He explained everything to me very well to the point where I felt confident that I wasn't dealing with a scam. Payment was very easy. Did a credit card payment right on over the phone. I had an overall great experience purchasing the policy and hopefully, as time goes on, I will find that it's beneficial for me to pay into having this policy versus doing what I did before. I'm just putting in a little over $100 a month, every month, for something that I'm not using. I have to have with me renter's insurance and auto insurance but do I have to have this?
I did have a concern with a special offer I had got on the phone which, if I had got off the phone call, thought about it or called back later, I felt pressured. If I didn't take it right then, I wouldn't get this discount. And even though I went through with it, because he reassured me that everything was fine, I just didn't have any other time to think about it. It was like, "Look, if you don't do it now, you call back, you don't get this discount. And then, you'll be paying a full price of coverage when you could have just paid the two-years and then you got two-years free. And you'll only be paying like $100 and some a month versus $300 to $400." But having the peace of mind that I do have the coverage, I've always been recommending Endurance.

The rep was nice and knowledgeable. Had all the right answers and was professional enough to where I felt comfortable making a financial decision on the phone. Now, it's just a matter of seeing what happens if I ever do need Endurance, although I hope I never use them. But I've already recommended them. They did a good job.

When Endurance called up, I said that I had 88,000 mileage. My only grief is that I’m on a 100,000 mile warranty already and they started the new warranty right at 88,000. So I’m kind of double dipping now until I get over 100,000. I want the warranty to start at 100,000 not 89. Now I have 90,000 on it but at the time I had 88,000. It’s like I put a lot of miles on my car. But Endurance sent me the paperwork. I haven’t really had a chance to go through it all, but it seems legit.
The rep who I talked to on the phone was very courteous. And it was very different from some other extended warranty services who have called me. Like the call I got on Sunday night around quarter after six, wherein the woman said that she was with the legal service and it was imperative that I talk to her about my 2014 Kia Optima. Almost like in a confrontational mode as opposed to selling me a service. When I told her that I had done Endurance she basically hanged up on me. They act as if there’s a high sense of urgency and Endurance didn’t do that when they called me. They were very non-threatening selling me on the benefits of the service as opposed to giving me an ultimatum that if I don’t act at once, I’m in danger.

They use a local number of another person to show on your caller ID so you are more likely to answer which is ILLEGAL! Secondly The cost when you worked out the payments even when they reduced it $500 in the drop of a hat was still more than the car was worth when you calculate it over the payment period. Was very pushy and had to stop him a few times so I could get a word in edgeways as he was talking so fast I couldn't even get the info down quick enough. Don't use this company ever.

Their protection specialists were very informative, courteous, polite, very thorough in explaining about what Endurance did and the different types of coverages that they provided. The car is getting older and it's out of warranty, so I got an auto warranty in case something happens. Endurance was rated higher in a lot of the ratings so I purchased one from them and everything went fine. The person was easy to talk to on the phone and I got a decent rate. It could’ve been a little better possibly, but it had come down from the original price and it's within my budget. However, it was a little odd that they quickly lowered the price so much. It almost seemed like I would've gotten ripped off if I paid the full original asking price. They should have a standard price that’s a little more affordable. If the price is a little cheaper to begin with, more people would sign up for this thing. On the other hand, they explained my benefits fairly clearly. I just got all the paperwork in the mail recently and I knew I couldn’t file a claim if the car broke down since there is a 60-day waiting period. Making payments was easy to set up too.

When I bought a new vehicle, I did not use the warranty that the dealer offered. I got on the Internet and did my own homework. To be honest, I think they probably all suck and screw everybody to a certain degree. They all cost a lot of money but I had to figure out which one I was going to let screw me. I based my decision on the rating from ConsumerAffairs. Then I talked to a guy on the phone and he was knowledgeable. As a matter of fact, he was kind of on autopilot doing his sales pitch. I even told him that he's been there for a long time and did nothing but feed me crap. But he chuckled and was a good sport about it. I asked him some questions and we talked for quite a while. So my experience with him was fine.
But one of the greatest disappointments is that you're not allowed to use it for 60 days, but I understand why. I get it but it kind of sucks. Because you buy a vehicle, you know it's used and things don't show up for a month. You don't really know. I'm an aircraft mechanic and nothing gets by me. But the truth is things do get by you. You can't know what is going to show up. So I don't know if they're going to be a disappointment or not.
I have an issue that I would like to have looked at right now. I would like to be able to take it over and have it addressed. But I can't, because I got to wait 60 days. So if I had to do it over again, I would find a different company just because of that. I understand the policy, but I'm stuck here. You don't want people going out here buying junk vehicle, buy a warranty and then immediately run it over and say, "Hey, I need to rebuild my car here." But then at the end of the day, I don't really know that it matters. The only thing that they are saving themselves from is having to address catastrophic failures because the owner of the vehicle is not going to be able to wait 60 days. They're going to have to use credit card or figure out some way to get it fixed because they need their transportation. That is the only thing they're really saving themselves from.
Issues like what I have going on I'm just going to have to wait and be irritated about it and wish I were with a company. Because in 60 days, I'm going to take the vehicle to the dealer. There's a bearing or something is out and we need to address it. They're not avoiding that, I'm not going to fix it because there's no danger, it's just annoying.

Slips were handwritten by the shop that did the work. They took months to get an answer back to me (the original claim rep quit, none followed up so I was waiting for a call that would never come). They said the transfer case failure as an "uncovered part". The motor (bad lifters) was denied due to the oil change receipts, they wanted them from before I started the contract with endurance.
In my opinion that should have been disclosed when they took my 2600$, it would be 7 years and 150k miles of receipts. Vehicle was tied up for almost 4 months, with rental costs in the thousands. Save your money, if it's a big problem (this was 7800$) they will deny it and use their legal team/contract to keep it denied. They should have at least returned my $. I have a 2011 Buick Regal, I also have a warranty with Endurance. I took my car to get diagnosis by a certified mechanic. The code that came up was timing chain. He mention to me he doesn't specialize in this type of work, for me to take my car to a Buick dealer... I then left view my warranty to see was it cover & call Endurance to be certain & it was cover. So I then took my car to a certified Buick dealership, told them my previous diagnosis. The guy Lonell then mention he have to diagnosis himself. He call and told me the previous diagnosis was accurate. I told him I have a warranty. He say, "Well I'ma submit your claim. Give me your warranty number." He then submitted my claim, told me Endurance said it was cover to go ahead brake done my engine. They was going to send their adjustor out to confirm it.
Lonell at the Buick dealership call me back. Said they denied it to call my warranty to find out why, but if I want to come get my car, I had to pay them a 1000 dollars for labor I do not have due to me burying my sister, so I call Endurance. They mention my claim was denied because of wear & tear. I then mention I had two certified mechanics diagnosis my car. They didn't say that the guy then mention of course they gone say what they think because they want to get paid. I then ask to speak to a supervisor. Told him my situation. I gave him Lonell number so they can speak about their different diagnosis.
Lonell call me back. He mention to me, "It's not wear and tear. Your car is 5 years old, Josephine. You need to fight for your repair because your coverage states it's coverage". I don't think the adjustor that came out was certified. If my warranty didn't cover it when I first call to see I wouldn't never took my car this far. I'm seeking help. I don't have the money to pay for my car to get fix nor release from Buick and in 2 weeks my finance company gone come take my car!

I had a warranty on my last vehicle and I had experiences where it would have cost me a lot of money to get my vehicle fixed if I didn’t have the warranty with a $100 deductible. The warranty company would not cover the vehicle that I have now though because it has more mileage on it. And as I was looking on the ConsumerAffairs website, I found Endurance Auto Warranty. I've acquired a used vehicle and for peace of mind, I wanted to get a warranty. I decided to go with Endurance, primarily, based on the rates they had. Not the best rate but they were top three best rates of all the ones I looked at. They also had a good coverage. On my initial call, I was trying to get information regarding my needs and wants. And they took that information. It was a good call and at the time I wasn't really ready to move forward. But I informed them with some rates I received from other reputable companies like USAA. And they were able to get close to matching what I had offered from them when I compared what the price was to what they were covering when they called back. I then moved forward in getting the rate they discussed.
Payments have been fine, too. As a matter of fact, the payments are spread out 20 or 24 months, so they aren't that big of a deal. But if I have to do a claim if they're going to have issues, that's one cause for concern I had. And they promised me that there should be no issues if I do have a claim. They were very thorough and knowledgeable about their product and about how they compare to other reputable home warranty. They definitely highlighted where they stand on a few websites. Give or take, to some people, that's really important. But for me it's not as important 'cause I know anybody can have a website that does rankings on different car warranties. But they did know where they stand and they also highlighted that they're highly rated with the Better Business Bureau.
When I was doing a little research, there were certain states where they cannot offer their services because of the laws. They didn't necessarily go into full detail on what's covered but they directed me to the website where I could find that information. They highlighted and outlined the contract where they say things are covered and they also did a really thorough job of explaining the difference between a covered and non-covered plan. So they have some exception plans and they did a good job of explaining the difference with that. I think they're good and thorough in what they offer and explain.

I had an excellent experience with the Endurance rep when I bought my warranty from them. I needed the extended warranty because I've done some repairs to my 14-year-old Audi and it cost me a wee bit of money. The day I called in, I wanted to see the pros and cons of the warranty but the rep already set me up to be a customer. I told her I don't have the money today. I have to call back the following week. But the rep said she can set it up now. I still have to base if I wanted it to come out of my account, and it's good that she made sure that happens and that's what happened. It's not very often you find an online consumer vehicle warranty place that you talk to a lady and she appears to be knowledgeable about cars. Usually it's a man's thing. She knew what she was doing and it was amazing.

When I was away on a military mission, I had a general discussion with somebody who bought almost the same car as I did. We talked about how certain manufacturers have common issues. And one of the common issues from our 2008 TrailBlazer Super Sport was the electrical, the turn signal on the light mirror. Sometimes the pistons go bad or a lot of times the right, you don't hear the knocking that comes up the oil pan. I thought my car was still under warranty and an older gentleman urged me to get a warranty. And I'm worried about how much the warranty costs 'cause at the dealership, they were trying to charge me $300 down payment and $200 a month. But with a new car, I shouldn't have any problems.
So after some time and consideration, I thought I should get a warranty just in case anything happens. But the most I have wrong with the car was the headlight kept going out. So once I did my research and got a couple of recommendations, I decided to just pay for the extended warranty just in case anything does happen to my car. There were two or three people in my unit who actually have Endurance and they recommended it to me, 'cause they say Endurance's price is more efficient and that they work fast if something does happen. I was also told about the military discount.
Because I wasn't with my car, I wasn't sure about my car's mileage so I gave the customer service a rough estimate, but I had to call back and give them my actual mileage, and then it went pretty smooth. The rep I talked to was friendly. She knew exactly what she was talking about. She gave me accurate recommendations, explained what each pages consist of and also gave me a professional recommendation based off the amount of mileage that I had on my vehicle. I definitely would recommend Endurance to other individuals who are looking for extended warranties, because the warranty most people are offered for used vehicles, either they don't cover enough or they cover too much but they are too expensive, but I thought that Endurance has an efficient pricing and coverage and my experience with them has been professional and convenient.

It’s a whole lot easier to pay with a warranty over time than to shell out a $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000, depending on what goes wrong with the vehicle. And since my automobile was starting to get up in mileage, and I wanted to make sure that I was covered instead of doing it out of my own pocket, I thought about getting a warranty. So I started looking for a warranty online. I was looking for things from Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs to see what kind of ratings they got. And Endurance turned out to be the highest of any of the other warranty companies. And after I contacted them, they got back within an hour and explained about this stuff to me. I told them that I was going to take probably 24 or 48 hours to make a decision and they were okay with that. They let me think about it, to do what I had, do more research on the internet. I called them back 48 hours later and we got everything in place.
The rep that I talked to has been thorough. He answered any questions that I had in complete fashion and I got what I wanted. Payments have been easy, too. The only thing is when I had asked the person on the phone if I could schedule a payment on a specific day, I got a literature in the mail and it ended up that the payment was set earlier than I had anticipated. But I did call them, and they told me that they would take the automatic withdrawal off the books and I could pay it on the date that I wanted, call them back and get them to change it up after 30 days. As long as everything would go according to plan, it wasn’t a big deal. Before filing a claim, there’s a 60-day waiting period. They want to make sure that the car’s not broken and I can’t blame them. It's for business purposes.

When I signed up with them, the agent I spoke with wasn't thoroughly trained as she could have been. I had multiple questions because I had done a lot of research and I had a list of questions to narrow down my decision. She told me some things that I found out later was not covered in terms of my coverage. She was not fully knowledgeable about the services that they offered, and maybe she was just trying to make a deal. And it ended up being something that I had to pay out of pocket for despite me investing in an extended warranty program.
I took my car in for some regular maintenance service and I had questions about my AC unit. After investigation and after they looked into it, I needed to have some expensive parts for my AC unit replaced. So we've then contacted Endurance service department to see what was covered and the wait times were very long. My service rep was also on hold just trying to get some verification of my coverage. On my first experience contacting their customer service, I was on hold for about 20 minutes. And when I called to verify what the young lady who initially set up my plan told me that one particular thing was covered, after waiting for another 15 minutes, I was told that it wasn't. All in all, Endurance needs to make sure that their service reps are fully knowledgeable of the services that they're selling because a lot of times when it comes to vehicles and car parts, it can easily be very misleading to tell a person what's covered and what's not covered.

When we got an auto warranty from Endurance, we thought it was based on mechanical breakdown or failure. So, essentially, your car would have to break and would have to be on the side of the road and not functioning at all in order for it to be covered. All these different car warranties cover different things. Some of them say wear and tear. Some of them say mechanical breakdown. Some say mechanical breakdown or failure. Who knows what you're really getting until you actually have a claim. So, when we looked at it within the 30 days and it's a mechanical breakdown, we don’t need that if it breaks down. And then if it breaks down or something else is damaged, it doesn’t cover that either. So, truly, it covers some listed component parts. This is probably not as good a coverage as what was supposedly sold.
The sales guy is real nice and a good dealer but why have a warranty if it's not real clear? He said, “You know what, man, your X, Y, Z is really worn out. This thing is going to break down. With that point, you wouldn’t want to drive so well. But your warranty is not going to cover it until it actually breaks down. So, please tell your significant others to keep driving ‘til you're stranded on the side of the road. And when that happens, give us a call. We'll tow it in and get it fixed. So, that’s kind of how their policy is written. It has to orderly break. A significant breakdown is what's covered which is important for consumers to realize.
You wouldn’t want to get stuck with something like that. You spend a lot of money for the warranty and really didn’t cover anything. They're not saying they wouldn’t cover if something actually happen. They probably would. I think they're a reputable company in that regard. They had good reviews online. They also explained everything, but I think they might be a little vague on some things. Their customer service was pretty good, too. But I cancelled the warranty because it wasn’t enough coverage. When I went to cancel it, they were great. They cancelled and there's no problem at all.

And then, I paid for it in a lump sum so it was very easy. Their representative did a good job in explaining the benefits. I would recommend the company.

He was great and worked through it all with me. He was kind and patient in working with me. You have a jewel with him. Wish more customer service people were like him.

I always like to have a warranty on my vehicles and when I sent feelers out to five different companies, Endurance Auto Warranty was the only one that returned my call. Their rep answered all the questions that I asked and he was very informative. He did a fine job and told me that it was a bumper to bumper warranty. I was going to pay cash for it but then I decided to let it go for a year then pay it off.
I had a problem logging in and also, I didn't get my warranty card until about a week and a half ago, but that was not Endurance's fault. It's the way my mail works. It takes me a long time to get my mail. I was on the internet and they told me how to get to read it, so I did. And then it said I have to print the temporary card out but I couldn't. So, I called them and asked how I could print it out and they said they'll send it to me. All in all, everything seems to be fine with me.

I have a 2009 Ford Flex and where I live, just taking it to the mechanic costs an arm and a leg. I bought the car used and when I got it, it had some issues, and I noticed how much it cost from what I had to go through to get it fixed by the dealership. The bushings on the right side and the rear went out, and I couldn't afford it out of pocket. I was thankful I got a warranty on it to cover the cost for me. And I looked into an extended warranty because of it.
I've come across extended warranty companies and there are some that wouldn't cover certain things. And then others had some little sham going on where you don't have to worry about paying for the parts and all that and the only thing you have to pay for is the deductible. One company told me that the deductible that they will cover was only up to 100 bucks. So if the labor is $310, they're covering the $100 and I'd be responsible for $210, which I was not fond of. Also, on the news, there are so many different scams going on now and it's ridiculous. And it made me very nervous so I went online and looked myself because I was bombarded by a lot of phone calls for extended warranties and it's so hard to determine who's scamming and who's not.
When I went online, Google had Endurance rated as number 1. The reviews I read on it were good, and a lot of people loved them. The only complaint I read, which was the same as mine, was the whole two months wait. When you first sign up with Endurance, they tell you off the bat that you can't use them for the first two months. I just signed up with them in August, so I can start using their services on the third month.
The gentleman I spoke with explained the reason why they had that policy. They were getting a lot of customers who had previous issues with their vehicles and weren't telling them. Endurance has no way to come out and inspect their cars. So within the first month of them signing up with Endurance, they would already have pre-existing major issues with their vehicles. And they're coming up with maybe $5,000 worth of work. When they told them when they first signed up they didn't any issues with the vehicle. So, that's how they weed out the scammers and it makes sense, but I still don't like that I have to pay and not have services for two months.
Also, the gentleman went through the whole program with me and at the end of the call, I didn't have any more questions. He made me feel welcome. And I like that everything is organized with them. I've dealt with some other extended warranty companies and their customer service sucked. I had issues with the customer service number that they give me. I couldn’t get the same people, and I didn't have that problem with Endurance. The only thing is it's a little expensive for me. I live on a fixed income and I didn't like that they couldn't do anything extra for me considering I'm on disability. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them to a friend, but I wouldn't recommend to somebody who's on a limited income.

A friend of mine uses Endurance and had a good experience, so I signed up for coverage. I had an auto warranty for the last pre-owned vehicle I've purchased. And I ended up having to use it for a few small repairs, so I decided to get one from Endurance for peace of mind. I was originally looking at one of the ones the dealership went through. But I went online and Googled it and it had a lot of bad reviews. So I searched for reliable auto warranty companies for vehicles that were pre-owned with mid-ranged mileage on them. I went to a website and it had five recommended ones and Endurance was the top recommended. I read the reviews and they seemed to have a really good reputation.
Their rep was super helpful. I called one other company again, but it was always like 30 minutes on hold. Whereas, with Endurance they pretty much were on the phone immediately with me. And a lady even gave me her personal extension number, so I could work with her easier. I was able to call her. I was picking up the truck on a Sunday and I wanted to get it as soon as possible, and she made herself available on the Sunday for me. The lady confirmed everything I wanted, transferred to a payment department and they confirmed a little bit more information, and then I gave my credit card information and had a charge on there the next day for the full amount. I just paid it straight up. After I bought it, I got the paperwork in the mail. So far, with Endurance it's been super super easy and simple. There have been zero issues.

I had a high mileage car that I still was upside-down on. I liked the car and I wanted to keep it. I didn't want to lose again with going upside-down on another car. But with what car maintenance costs are now, I like the peace of mind of the extended warranty program. I didn't even know that they were available until I started doing research and all the reviews and everything talked about Endurance. So I talked to their rep and he was very thorough in explaining. I stayed on the phone with him for quite a while. He made sure I went through all the questions and knew all the answers without having to give me the, "I don't really know that one." But I don't think I had any questions that he didn't really know the answer to right off. He was easy to understand, which is a big thing any more these days trying to find English speaking customer service. It's getting farther and harder to find.
I'm one of those people that research the heck out of stuff and all the reviews and consumer reports and people talking about it with very high marks. I checked with some of the other ones. The only thing that they didn't do, and I couldn't find anybody that does it, is the hybrid car. And I found nobody that would cover the hybrid car over 100,000 miles. That's the only complaint I had. But Endurance would cover the non-hybrid components of the car. Some of the other ones were much higher and didn't cover as much. And the Toyota and so one of their most troubles parts are the battery packs and all the hybrid systems. So, that's one to be concerned. It's more of the engine, front-end parts. They don't cover the battery in a hybrid system, which is mostly just the battery pack and the electric motor.
Endurance is a little expensive but I just had some work done on my wife's brand-new truck and I know how much that cost on the smallest things. It's like buying an auto insurance. You don't want to ever use it but if you do, it's there. And I like where I can sell it with the car, I can transfer it to another car, which is what would probably happen down the road or just cancel it without any restrictions. They also set me up on auto-pay. I like the way they put it down in a two years but it's a four-year term. So, I'll have a couple of years payment-free type of thing which will be nice, too. It was a good experience. I got all the paperwork just as the guy promised. Everything was pretty easy to understand. Nice packaging, real professional set-up there.

The Endurance reps that we talked to were helpful, but not too knowledgeable. And I think we could use information from the warranty company. I figure a welcome package with a book that would tell you what's covered and not covered, all the ins and outs of the warranty. I didn't get anything of that. When I got the bill for $300, I found it funny that it doesn't have anything that says what I'm covered for or not. I made two payments. The payments are $129 a month.
