I'm very happy with Endurance. They gave me a wonderful rate and I've been rolling with them ever since I signed up. Anything that has occurred, I had no problem with them taking care of me. The most recent claim I had was my transmission went out. I was without my car for about four days but they took care of it. It took them a minute to give me a rental car. But overall, I got it. That’s all that matters. I like Endurance. I would prefer them over somebody else and I’ve already told several family members and friends about them. No one can beat the rate that I pay monthly. I pay them 108 and that’s special enough.

I received my policy last week but I could not get it to print. I was unable to get thru to the company by phone or chat for help and was ready to just retract my purchase but when I decided to try back today, Rebecca answered the phone and was so helpful and she sent me a copy I could print. If she is representative of the type of service I will be getting in the future, I will recommend this product to all my friends. She definitely saved me as a customer.

It took Endurance Auto Warranty two weeks and a half for them to get back. It was slow, but to make a decision, they had to review the oil change. Originally, they wanted to send in their own parts, so I just paid the difference. They wanted to send their own unit, but they allowed me to pay the difference with Chevy for the original transmission from the manufacturer. So, the difference between their unit and the unit I got was $600. But compared to what I was originally going to pay without the insurance, I was happy about it. I plan on keeping CarShield.

Any experiences I've had with Endurance have been unpleasant. The first time around, I was in the hospital. I had had triple bypass and they called and pressured my wife, and she ended up signing up. They said she had to do it that night. It was quite a bit of money so, when I got out of the hospital, I dealt with it and canceled it.
The warranty on our vehicle has gone down to nothing and I looked up extended warranties. Endurance was supposed to be right out the top that’s on the internet so, we called and got signed up. I called them approximately a month or so after. We had a dead battery and I was asking them if they could come and give me a jumpstart. I figured I was gonna have to pay for it because we haven’t put our 1,000 miles on and they said no. They were worthless. I couldn’t get anything out of them. I called after that and said that I wanted to cancel this and I didn’t want to work with them. They’re still taking money out of our account. I told the bank I wanted to cancel but it was no good. So, I’m stuck with this. They wouldn’t stop taking the money out and I don’t have any recourse. So, as a consumer, I would not recommend Endurance. I can’t get a hold of people to say I want out.

Endurance was very good. However, the customer service people that they have could use a little more training. You could tell they were trying to pull up information off a computer and other database. They didn't have a good understanding of the product they were selling, so to somebody who wasn't sophisticated enough, that might be an issue. However they have it written is fair but the website is kind of crappy. When I submitted one claim, I went to my mechanic and told him I had extended warranty. They contacted the warranty company and did everything else. I had to pay the deductible at the dealership.

Endurance is a great plan. they covered the problem so that was good. It's nice to know that I have that coverage for those expensive repairs that are unexpected. Recently, the car went in the shop for the ABS light that was coming on. They replaced some part but it was in the shop for over a week 'cause they had to wait for the part then I wanted them to drive it to make sure that they fixed it. The customer service is good. I didn't have too much trouble with looking at my paperwork and finding out what's covered and what's not covered. If I had a question, I called and everybody that I talked to was very helpful.

I have been an Endurance contract holder since 2016. I renewed my contract Dec 2021 and attempted to file my first claim April 2022. I spoke with an agent who advised that I did not have Roadside Assistance nor tire coverage. I read my contract which showed that I at least had Roadside Assistance and I was trying to explain, but the agent wasn't listening. For the next couple of months I thought about cancelling my contract.
Today, I finally called to cancel my contract and spoke with James ** in the Cancellation Department. I explained the problems I had trying to use the Roadside Assistance coverage. James D, listened to what I had to say, apologized for me receiving the wrong information, reimbursed me for my roadside assistance, the hotel stay claim, added other coverage and explained the maintenance benefits that come with the coverage that I have. James D, was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and delivered on everything that he said that he was going to do. I have decided not to cancel my Endurance Warranty.
Hi, Carolyn. We're so glad you decided to keep your Endurance coverage plan and that James was able to provide you with excellent service. We’ll make sure that he receives the recognition he deserves.

I purchased the warranty and read what they covered. I noticed they did not cover the rotors and only paid $140 for the pads. I called back and upgraded the warranty to a four year policy. They said would cover the rotors. I took my car to my mechanic. He called them and they said they do not cover rotors. Really disappointed. Canceled policy. Read the fine print. Not worth it.

Endurance Auto Warranty seemed to have a bit better coverage and reviews on them. But they lacked a bit. I know that I can make monthly payments. I paid it upfront, and I got a bit more of a discount for that. But they never sent me anything in the mail explaining what my coverage was or how long it lasted. He told me that over the phone, but I never got any confirmation after that to verify, this is my coverage, this is what I have. I went on and I had to sign in to their website. I could pull up my coverage through the website. But it took me a bit of time to figure that out.
I was having some problems a couple of months ago. I was hearing a knocking noise. And I had been told by another shop that two of my Cadillac converters were out. And I didn't realize there were four on my particular vehicle. So, I took it into Nissan and had them just go through the car and make sure. The Cadillac converters were still bad, which I had thought that's what it was. And they did a few other little things for me. Once I picked it up, they tried to contact Endurance. But they covered nothing at all that was needed to be done. I had to go to another dealership because the car still wasn't right.
I called Endurance asking about certain things. And this is where I found the little details on the very back part of the contract. I had some things that were not broken yet, but they had worked on my front end. And there were some things that they covered. And other things, because they weren't completely broke, they would not cover and it bothered me. So, I ended up paying over $4,000 out of my pocket. They paid for some additional work on it. But it was very frustrating. Obviously, it's going to break if it has worn out, but they would not cover that. And it bothered me that they had the car part, it would be less expensive to do that, but they didn't do it. And that was in the very back part of the contract when I had to go online and look and look. And in the very fine print back there, they will not cover anything that is not totally broken, even though it's a part that should be covered if it was broken, but not wore out.
They ended up paying for a timing chain. But I had some front end stuff that is just through wear. It's a 2010 vehicle. Even the shop kept calling and they would deny. And I would call and they would deny. It's sad to me that they would think that it should break first. It was my front end. It could have put me in a bad situation.
I called and Endurance put me over to someone. I explained to him what was going on. And he was the one that told me the paragraph where it was in the back of the contract that says right here. And even out of my own frustration, he just said, “No, we don't cover that because it's not broken.” Even though the shop was saying it was worn out. My rack and pinion needed to be replaced. But because there was a bolt missing, they wouldn't replace it. Obviously, something happened so the bolt came off. So, I paid for that also out of my pocket. I also had a front end leak. And it said in there, unless they have to get in to do something else, they will not fix the leak of the vehicle, unless they have to get in and repair something else.

The air conditioning on my Accent wasn’t blowing and my daughter called and asked if it was covered, and she was told it was covered by Endurance. At first, the rep said it was the condenser. Then, when something was done, it wasn’t. But as of right now, everything is working fine. Everything was handled quickly. The only thing is they said they had the auto parts but after they got the parts, they didn't call us to let us know. Other than that, once they got it scheduled, it didn't take very long.

Signing up with Endurance was fairly easy. I've had 2 claims for air conditioning and transmission, and the claims process have been easy, too. I had to pay just the deductible. Endurance kept me from spending a ton of money on a transmission.

Endurance procrastinated and took so long that I paid $1,700 out of my pocket. My Jaguar went down two weeks ago. The shop that I deal with called Endurance and put the claim in. Endurance wanted to send an inspector out. The shop didn’t get an inspector by Monday or Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they said they needed some paperwork stating about something that had got fixed in February. They didn’t pay for it in February. I came out of my own pocket for that because one of the numbers was wrong on the mileage, so they had to restart the contract. Then, they said they were gonna send out an inspector within 48 hours.
When I called the guy at the shop, Friday morning, he said they still didn’t have an inspector. I told them to go ahead and fix it. I paid for it myself because I was spending $130 to get back and forth to work each day I was going home without my car. It was an inconvenience. When I get up there Friday to pay for my car, the shop told me Endurance called to say that they were sending an inspector up there Friday, but it was too late. I've never been late or missed any payments so why couldn’t I get the service that I was told I was gonna get from the beginning of me signing the contract? I’m paying $170 a month but Endurance has done nothing for me. Since I got my car, nobody has reached out.
Reviewed June 29, 2022
After I purchased the vehicle, it was a day before I could use the contract that the air conditioning condenser went out. I took it to the dealer and they charged me $900. They couldn't do anything even though the mileage was over 1,000 miles. They said it has to be 30 days past and it's got to be both of them, not one or the other. I didn’t like that. Before you get going with the contract, Endurance tells you at the end when they sign you up that you have to have 1,000 miles. It’s misleading. They can save themselves from spiel if they tell people upfront, “You can't use this policy until after 30 days and 1,000 miles.” You're paying money to them before you are even able to benefit from them. 1,000 miles can be anywhere from a week up to four or five weeks with some people. It’s too much.
Reviewed June 29, 2022
After 100,000 miles on your car, Endurance is one of the only ones that go bumper to bumper for a decent price. Today, I had a battery replaced and Endurance pitched in 100 bucks which was good. Five months ago, I had my air conditioning go out. They replaced the evaporator in the Chrysler and did the compressor and a water pump. It just cost me $100 so I was very pleased.

The rep was pleasant. When somebody's trying to sell you something, you’re usually nice. When I had work done, I took the truck in and the people at the dealership dealt with Endurance. I had something else done that wasn't covered and paid the difference.
Reviewed June 28, 2022
The Endurance policy is expensive but it seemed like it covered more. It’s $4,300 but my daughter had to have a warranty so I figured pay it by the month or pay it out of pocket and I wasn't paying any more out of them. She had a 2014 Chevy Cruze and I’d fix one little hose and then another hose would break or a joint would break or I had a crack in the antifreeze reservoir tank. Then the water pump went. It was constantly issues with that car. Now it’s resolved because there are no more parts to fix. I had everything replaced. I got tired of it.
I was comfortable going into the program with Endurance. I got burned on a warranty that I had bought before for one of my cars. I never used the warranty and it was almost $3,000 that got tied in when I financed the car. I never had to use it but when I made the last payment on that warranty, it was done. It was null and void. They screwed me over. So I had to fight and they paid a portion of it finally and then the dealership cut in, but I still had to pay 300 and some dollars just to get the work done. The first time that I have any kind of mess with this warranty or any other warranty, I will find somebody else.
I told the rep from Endurance that I was thinking on paying on this for three years. I asked the rep if it’s going to be null and void if it gets paid off early or if I go the full three years, and my daughter is not at 100,000 miles. And he said that even after the last payment, I’m still going to be covered. I said that I just wanted to make sure and he said that I’m guaranteed for three years or 100,000 miles.
On the phone, the rep was very knowledgeable and spent time with me. It wasn't five minutes and done and over with. I paid at the time of but he told me I had 30 days to cancel. He gave me all of the email documents that I had to print, which was substantial, but it is what it is. And I understood that concept. Then when I read through everything, he verified everything that was in the paperwork. So, to recognize and to be able to touch point on key information that's needed in order to sell these policies, he was very much on point. Everything that he said, I could confirm in the paperwork and the emails that I received.

I got the coverage from Endurance and about two months later, I put in a claim but it was denied. The next month, I had another problem with my vehicle. I put in another claim and that was denied. It was something that was not considered wear and tear on the vehicle. So, I didn’t understand why it was not covered and they said that it was explicit what was or was not covered. I said that I spoke with the representative when I did the application process and asked what was covered. I was told that it was. It was my electrical door locks and the Endurance rep said that it was an electrical issue and electrical was not covered under the warranty.
It was something so simple. It was a memory fuse and I had to pay $140 for the diagnostic and another $140 for them to fix it. I paid $349 when I left and I asked if they were charging me $349 to put a fuse in. I called up the next day and I said that I was having the same problem. The fuse blew again. But then I knew what fuse it was, so I just replaced it. But something was causing the fuse to blow. So, that was considered an electrical problem and that should be covered. But it was not. So I asked what electrical was covered and they said the power windows.

I dropped Endurance. Some of the most suspicious things that you have on your car are the support structures, like your struts, shocks, breaks and wheel bearings. None of that was covered with Endurance unless you’re paying a tremendous amount of money per month. And I’m not in that category because I can’t afford stuff like that. I’m retired. I don’t even get a home Social Security check. So, there was no need for me to keep on stressing myself out.

I chose Endurance because it covered more than 100,000 miles. I've had two claims so far. One claim wasn't covered and that was for the wiring in my tag lights that went out. The other claim was for my thermostat that went out and that was covered. Process-wise, they had a hard time getting the right information but they finally worked it out. The process took about an hour. The car was in the shop for a day because I had to wait for a part to come in. I took it in and it got changed right there on the spot. The mechanics worked directly with Endurance and that was great because I wasn't sitting there fielding information from one end to another. With Endurance, I like the assurance that if something goes wrong, it'll most likely be covered.

Every time I look around Endurance does not take care of certain things that go wrong with my car. From mount and balance of a tire to a tire sensor. They don't deal with rotors either. I keep finding things this policy doesn't deal with. I can't imagine what being less than a elite member. There is so much false advertisement in their online advertising. Complete Tire Coverage is one of them. So far this warranty has taken care of 320 dollars of claims and I'm already at 800 not including their 320 dollars this year in payments and deductibles for the policy. The Endurance rep that called me was extremely knowledgeable and well-mannered and she had it all together. She was extremely thorough and she put everything in layman's terms so it was easily understandable. There was one question that I asked that she couldn't answer. But she looked up the answer into her database and immediately answered it. Submitting a claim was extremely easy. They sent an adjuster out and they took care of it. The shop got paid and I got my car back.

I drive a lot of miles and Endurance was the only company that gave me the miles. I'm about 150,000 and it goes up to 300,000 for warranty. I took advantage of the warranty's service a couple of times and had no problems. I did a claim for something on the front wheel of my car and something with the drivetrain. Endurance took good care of it and I was very happy about that. My experience with Endurance was very good. I don't have to worry about anything that’s included in that warranty.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Endurance! We take pride in knowing our customers are happy and we are so glad we could protect you from costly repairs.

The reps at Endurance are always personable if I call and ask a question or they go over it if there's something that I don't understand. There’s no pressure and so far, we're satisfied. Even though we have the contract, I can call in and ask anything I need to ask and it is answered. Something can cost up to thousands of dollars but the only out of pocket we have had is $100. We were getting ready to take a trip and the rep said we don’t wanna break down while we’re on the road. The warranty paid for it and the vehicle was in the shop for four days. Then, we had the oil change. Each claim is a separate claim and once it is approved, they always paid. I wanted to know about the car rental and they said that if I have to do a new claim, I get the car rental for five days. If we go there and pay for the air condition, the warranty pays for five days and hopefully, within five days, the vehicle will be fixed.

Other than for towing, oil changes (which you will have to submit, as nobody accepts their contract info), and key fobs, DO NOT expect them to pay for your actual vehicle repairs. They'll find a reason to deny the actual repair, like claiming the exact part is not in the contract or you failed to keep records of oil changes/maintenance.

I had several things wrong with a car and Endurance only covered a few of those. I thought they would cover more. I've had to pay about $3,000 out of pocket. With the first mechanic I took the vehicle to, the estimate was about over $8,000. Endurance covered only up to $900 so I let them do what Endurance covered. Then, I took it to another mechanic and his estimate was about $4,000. Endurance covered about 1,000 so I went ahead and did the entire work with them. I kind of understood what Endurance did not cover, but I didn't know that beforehand.

Customer service is a little dodgy and the process can be a little troublesome because certain reps don't want to give certain information. When I had a question about the tire package, the claims department told me to call some Elite company to get that information. And even if I want to get the information personally and I had an authorized shop working on the car, it becomes a really big hassle in communication. Other than that, I did two claims this week and my experience had been great. One was for a battery replacement and they paid $100 towards it. The other was for something that I had replaced when it came to my struts at Mazda. Endurance saved me quite a bit of money.

I use my truck for daily use. I submitted a claim but it took about a week to get an adjuster to look at the truck and make communication with the mechanic shop, and then they rescheduled for another three days to just go and authorize the repair. That was a lot of hassle. All of that downtime, I was paying for a rental, which Endurance did not cover. I had a lot of other expenses that I paid for. It was like I have no warranty. It ended up costing me more money. It was also hard to get them on the phone. 35 minutes wait. It was not a good experience at all.
Now I have a catalytic inverter that's bad and it was not covered. When I specifically called them on the phone, “I need the best plan that you have where if anything happened to the truck, I don't pay anything.” But I ended up being not sold this plan. I was willing to pay the money but the rep sold me whatever he thought was good for me. I wouldn't recommend Endurance.

I have Endurance on two vehicles. I have one on a 2009 Chevy, which I had almost no problems with. My 2015 Chevy, on the other hand, has a few problems. The coverage is not the same. Endurance usually wants the inspectors to come out whenever they do claims on your vehicle, which also makes it a headache because you gotta wait multiple days for them to even look at something.
Endurance likes to use aftermarket parts, which doesn't exactly work in the dealership. Sometimes, I end up having to pay out-of-pocket extra for quality parts. I actually just paid out of pocket on my 2015 to replace parts that were covered but they weren't willing to pay the OEM prices to the dealership. I paid the difference which was about $200. Other than that, Endurance's customer service is pretty good. They cover services. But expect to possibly pay out of pocket for the difference between an OEM and aftermarket parts depending on where you take it.

I looked into two companies and I liked Endurance more so I chose them. I had one claim with them not long ago and I wasn't happy with that. The shop submitted the claim for me and that was the easy part. The process, on the other hand, took six months from January. I didn't have a vehicle the entire time because the claim was not approved. That was the bad part. Endurance offers rental reimbursement but it doesn't start until the claim is approved.
The process took a while because Endurance wanted some copies of some receipts of service maintenance, which I provided immediately. I knew exactly what they needed and I provided everything. I made sure I read everything in the contract so I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong. I went in with a higher expectation. They wanted me to authorize a teardown of the motor, which the dealer said was weird. It was just because I asked a reason that they needed to check the internal lubrication of the part. They did that check and afterwards, they said they couldn't verify that the car had a misfire because the motor was apart. But they told me that they already had an inspector out there the first time that verified that. The second inspector denied it because he couldn't verify the fault. We went back and forth for a while on that.
After talking numerous times, the dealer said, “Look at the other inspector. Look at the notes... He verified that there was in fact a fault already when the first inspector came out. That's what he came out to do.” But Endurance said that the second inspector only came out to look at the vehicle for damages and do an initial inspection. Finally, they checked everything and said it was right there on the notes. All they had to do was look at the front, what the first inspector looked at like we were asking them to do. What they actually did was close out the claim and then reopen it with the same claim number but a different inspector. They just kept going off with the last inspector. Once the claim was approved, the dealership called me and told me that the work was going to be done the following day. The shop finished in one day.
Before this, I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because of everything that was going on. Endurance denied it. At that time, it was iffy. It seemed like they were trying to not help me and tried to deny more when clearly they had a record of everything they needed and they didn't verify. They didn't do their due diligence on that. I’ve read reviews and numerous other people had similar experiences. Eventually, Endurance got to the bottom of things and they fixed it. But they all had a hard time trying and there were multiple denials.

My initial experience with this company was good. However do yourself a favor and avoid using them. When it comes to actually getting repairs done they will delay the repair as much as possible by constantly asking for more repairs or sending inspectors over and over. They did eventually cover the repair, but the bureaucracy delayed the repair by at least 4 weeks. I called when I initially took the truck to the shop and was told that they do cover rentals. The only thing I'm afraid of when I try to take my vehicle to a shop is that I have to sit there and wait when they could have just given me a rental car. They said, "We cannot give you a rental car until we know for sure that we can do this". I'm like, "This doesn't make sense. This is why I pay a warranty for".
I had to keep calling them every single day saying, "Did you talk to the people yet?" I attempted to use the incentives but I did not follow the instructions. When you do those things, you have to coordinate it and then you apply it. But if you do it up front and then call afterwards, it doesn't work. An oil change is an oil change. Not that it requires training to be changed but if you do those ancillary things, you gotta get clearance beforehand from the service center to do that, which is a pain to do. Besides those ancillary things, there are also some freebies up front that you can use for other things. But it seems onerous or almost nonexistent in my neck of the woods.

Between Integrity and Endurance, they both settled that situation.
I received a letter indicating that there were some changes that would be added to the contract, or they were going to change the contract. People shouldn't change contracts in the middle of a contract. So I was gonna call them to delete the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from that Endurance company and add the truck that I have now. I want to discuss what the letter states that I read and I wanted to see what that entailed. Other than that, Endurance was very reasonable. I had to do some work on my other car before. I would take the car to the dealer. The dealer would process the claim and tell Endurance what the problem is. I just had to pay the deductible. With the warranty, I don't have any headaches or worries that I'm paying full price.

The claims process is sometimes ridiculous. Certain labors and certain things were not approved and certain things were approved. Also, every time the establishment contacted Endurance to approve things, it was always a problem. Then, when I get on the phone with Endurance, the guy in the establishment was in front of me and I could have transferred the phone to him but Endurance's rep won't do it. He said the guy from the establishment has to call him. And it would be nice if once the establishment has sent them the invoice and they approve, they contact the client and discuss that with the client. It's a total mess every time. It would be a peace of mind if they could contact the client and say, "Hey, we're not approving this because of this or that." Other than that, whenever I file a claim, it was very accessible. Anything that was between me and Endurance was legit.

My first time with Endurance's customer service wasn’t that great and I wanted to cancel. But when I got ahold of somebody named Gladys, she was very helpful in telling me what was going on. She told me, “Just try this. You didn't read all the stuff that was there, stuff that was available to you.” She then said they’ll just call me. The problem with these Service Contracts is that they cut the corners so much that Customers of Endurance have to pay a lot more than the Deductible. Endurance was only paying a portion of my Fuel Pump...I was going to have to pay 500 Dollars NOT my 100 dollar deductible....BEWARE of this SCAM. I CANCELLED ENDURANCE after this problem...BEWARE.

Endurance called them back. It was going to voicemail as well, so they canceled it. They got someone else. The same identical thing happened. Then my friend called someone. I had to pay $150 to have my car towed to Broward. These people had the nerve to send me a $50 check. I'm very upset about that. I also used a tow service before. I was on I-95. I made that judgment call ‘cause I was in a very dangerous environment. When I called them, people didn't answer the phones at that time. A text thing came on. I was so nervous, and I didn't know how to do that. But they reimbursed me for that.

Endurance's service is horrible. It didn't quite work out for me because what the sales representative had offered turned out to be a total lie. When I contacted them to give me a quote and signed up with them, it was like everything was covered from bumper to bumper. All I have to pay was the deductible. It turns out that I had to come out of pocket. Endurance goes by some sort of algorithm. Anyone knows that if you're taking a part out from a vehicle, it takes more than 0.7 hours to resolve that and no job on the vehicle will take 0.7 hours. Their algorithm changed twice during the course that I got from 0.7 to 0.8. It wasn't honest. The dishonesty is what I disagree with. I had to come out more out of my pocket to pay for something that should have been covered by the insurance.
It was an awful experience. They claim that they have no control of what their sales representative told me. When I had to speak to him, I was told he was no longer there and they said, "Contact one of these shops." When I contacted the shops, these were the shops that rebuild parts. Those are the vendors they have. I had to go through the process a few times, and their algorithm keep changing in terms of what can be done being covered. I have to cancel the policy because it doesn't suit me. I don't want to deal with the stress. I was very dissatisfied.

I love Endurance. I had my engine blown out in my car, and they took care of it. They also took care of the transmission. I just paid a couple of hundred dollars for each repair. The only thing was my car was waiting for the engine. It took four months for the repair. I was without a car for four months, but I'm really happy because they paid for it. I had to spend $4,000 on rental cars. The communication between the guy, the adjuster, Endurance, and my Chevrolet dealership wasn't really quick. I had a bad battery last week and I called Endurance for a tow. That was a three-hour wait for whoever they used there and the guy never showed up. Everything that the rep explained to me at the interview was correct and the process for making payments is easy. I have to make my payment every month on the 7th and Endurance takes it automatically out of my account. Everything thus far has been good. When I had to get the car repaired, the mechanic who worked on it told me when to bring it so I got it towed over there because my car ran hot and I couldn't drive it. He told me that if I got it there, he would look at it the same day. He did and once he determined what it was that afternoon, I got on the phone with Endurance and he spoke with them. He repaired my car within two days. I wasn't scheduled for an appointment because they were booked. But because it was just a water pump, he was able to get one in town rather quickly. Endurance paid him, and I went and got my car once it was done.
I had one experience with Endurance and I only got one experience to compare them to, which is with CarShield. And it was night and day. Endurance knew what kind of car they were covering when I called in. They let me know everything about my car and my coverage. Whenever something goes broke in this car, I want the original part. I don't want to put in a Camaro’s part in my vehicle, which was what CarShield was doing. But Endurance gave me the original part of my car. So, I was satisfied with that. It was very good experience with Endurance. The price and the promptness were very good.

Everything has gone well so far. I just had to have my blower fan put in and they said they wouldn't pay for the labor for it but they sent the part. That's something that my mechanic was kind of pissed off about. He had to take out the drawer and he had to really break it down. It’s bad that he had to lose half a day trying to take everything out and put everything back in. But I've had no issues with Endurance.
Although they need to update on the prices of the parts and they need to recheck their labor when they’re looking to pay for labor. The adjuster says one thing and what the computer says the time that it takes to do it is totally different. Also, they only covered a certain number of days when I had to use a rental car when I had an engine change. I had to pay the difference, which was like 500 bucks. Then, I get three oil changes per year and they only cover up to $50 on that. Oil changes now are 75 and better and my vehicle takes full synthetic, so that's costing me even more.

STAY AWAY!!!! I called Endurance earlier this week to get pricing information. I was doing research to compare extended warranty companies, plans, and costs. I first spoke with Kara who gave me all of the details for (and was really trying to push) their most expensive exclusionary plan. When I asked for pricing for their other less expensive plans, she put me on an extended hold (red flag: I should have hung up then) and then Chris got on the phone.
Chris was extremely rude and tried to convince me that it would be a waste of time for him to give me pricing for the other plans because the prices would DRASTICALLY change if I didn't purchase the plan on the spot. Really? Then why did Kara just willingly give me pricing for the exclusionary plan? When I pressed him on this and said it was unbelievable and sounded like a sales tactic, he said I could believe or not believe it, but it was the truth. I persisted and eventually he spouted out some general down payment and monthly payment amount - after which I promptly hung up. Such nonsense! I know times are hard and they are trying to make sales but to think that I would EVER do business with them after that call is unfathomable. Beware! I purchased a policy with ENDURANCE for my 2008 Jeep Commander with about 164,000 and due to what I had heard about Car Shield and what prompted me to purchase the policy was I had just had a issue with my transmission and cost about $800 so I said I probably should get covered just in case going forward.
About 2 months later I had just recently traveled and a few days after returning back home on way back from work the jeep started running very rough and the check engine light came. I used an OBD scanner to see if any codes came up. And few came up regarding misfires.. So I had my vehicle towed to a jeep dealer thinking I wouldn't have to worry about any shenanigans, I also contacted ENDURANCE to ensure I did the process right. Which they told me I had. So after a few days the dealer informed me of what was happening and that they needed to explore further, which they did I had to authorize them to continue and they informed me that it would be an 850 CHARGE if the repair wasn't done. And to my surprised informed me in short I would need a new engine and that they could not even locate one.
The feeling I got was that this was not job that they wanted to do just by the conversation from the service advisor.. So they had contacted ENDURANCE to get my claim started. The service advisor told me they were waiting for photos and need receipts for last 3 oil changes but since I DO MY OWN I don't keep receipts for oil that I buy. But I have for parts or repair facilities so I tried to go back to store but they only go back 90 days so that wouldn't have helped so I sent copy of SERVICE RECORD I KEPT TO SHOW !!! THE MAINTENANCE I DO TO THE VEHICLE.
1st off I HAD TO CALL, to find out about what the status of my claim for an entire month YES AN ENTIRE MONTH..and having to had to borrow vehicle to get to and from work until my claim was open so that I could get a rental car. So just recently on another call to ENDURANCE I was checking up on my claim and was informed from the claims agent that the adjuster left a message to the service advisor "ON HOW TO PROCEED WITH THE REPAIR" and was waiting to hear back from same. I ALSO CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE 2 DAYS IN A ROW and hadn't heard back so I CALLED ENDURANCE AGAIN!!
Only this time I was tolded by claims agent that my claim was denied...I said "What"!!! Asked to speak to supervisor.. I was told it was denied to lack of maintenance???? So after a very lengthy conversation with the claims supervisor he stated the policy states that you must keep all receipts for repairs but even if they accepted the service records I didn't follow the that maintenance manual..I stated I bought the vehicle over 8 years ago and started from there and tried to stay as close to the schedule as possible..
****Note**** Since I first got the jeep I've always used Mobil 1 full synthetic and purchased the oil and filter from Walmart and if I had to use a service center had them use same..Anyway the conversation went from receipts to not following schedule then back to receipts and the service record shows that the vehicle was well maintained..An end result was because of ** about receipts I was denied..I hadn't even had the vehicle long enough to even save a new receipt..
I wasn't looking for a new engine the dealership said that one was needed. I'm sure it could have easily been rebuilt or such and I certainly wasn't looking to get a new vehicle since my vehicle had been paid off....So beware. Do not use this company or any for that matter. They use deceptive tactics to not have to do any repairs....

If I'm putting out money monthly when my car is not broken and when it gets broken, I have to pay all this money to fix it, it makes no sense to me. What is the point of the policy?
I left CarShield for the same thing and I was assured by the Endurance salesperson that their plan was better. But it seems like they're almost equivalent and there was only a slight bit more from what I was paying with CarShield. The car was in the shop the other day and there were two sensors that needed to be fixed. They only fixed one. The sensors are important to the day-to-day functions of the car. Endurance wanted to see my last three oil changes before I could do the repair so I had to go around to all the places I got oil changes, get receipts, and send them in. I hated that fact. If they had told me then I would have kept everything all along or I would have taken a picture on my phone. Other than that, it was fine. After Endurance reviewed them, they approved the repair right away and it was done. If you're wanting to purchase an extended warranty, I'd recommend Endurance. Until I find there’s something better, that's where I would go.

The only thing I had the problem with, I had to come out of pocket and pay for the rental car when the dealership kept my car. Endurance covered the days, but my warranty doesn't cover what they offered. It covers $40 and the rental car was 50, and I had to pay 100-something out of my pocket. Other than that, when I call for Endurance, they were right there for me. I would tell others to go for it. I'm gonna give them Endurance's number and have them call them.

The only thing was on our trip up to North Carolina from Florida, the wheels started to vibrate a little bit. I took it to a dealership and had them balance the wheels. Then, I read through the contract and when it comes to the wheels, it covers everything but the balance. I was not too happy about that. But we’ll see how it goes. I’m more concerned with the major stuff on the truck.

The Endurance sales rep was very amiable & knowledgeable, but as it got closer to the 30 days waiting period before Endurance contract activation I had some reservations so I called to cancel the contract & get a refund. The customer service representative was very congenial, super-knowledgeable & helpful. He answered all my questions & pointed out a number of things I had not considered. He was more than willing to cancel the contract, however, without any pressure, & with an even better understanding of the advantages under the contract after speaking with him, I decided not to cancel. It was easy to sign up with Endurance. We went online to get the policy. We got the best one that we felt will fit us. We're happy with the option. But we had problems with a claim the last time. The motor and the oil pump went bad on the vehicle while we were driving. We took it to the dealership and they were trying to tell us that it was our fault because we didn't get the oil change. We provided them the papers showing that we did the oil change four times since we had it. But they declined to do the oil pump. Then they told us to have the motor brought down. So we had to end up getting a lawyer for them to fix the motor and they fixed it.

Contacted Endurance and they will not fix or repair problem. Endurance specifically told me that they cover fuel pumps or naturally, I would have never bought any policy that will not cover fuel pumps for a boat or car!

Endurance had no hesitation covering a water pump that went bad shortly after I began the policy, which helped out a lot because it was a breakdown and I was without transportation for a couple of days. But it did not cover a rental car. So, I had to suck that up myself and I had to pay for a serpentine belt replacement which was not covered somehow. That was considered normal wear and tear. But it was caused by the water pump going bad. I should probably find out more information about what's involved with getting a higher level of coverage because that was gonna break down now.
At the same time, I was having electrical problems with this vehicle and they just seemed to come out of nowhere. It was like a ghost. Windshield wipers would activate without any prompting, gauges would go to zero when I was driving, and all those warning lights would come on the dash, and air conditioner would stop working, the motor in the seat would run, so I was sliding back and forth, and the windows would not operate with the controls. This is at random, sporadically. So, the vehicle is in the third Jeep dealership now trying to get to the bottom of it. I took it to a jeep dealership where I had the water pump replaced up in North Carolina. They said I should replace the tip or the central control module and it's an expensive repair.
But Endurance policy on that was they considered that a fuse box, which is not covered under my warranty. So, that was a $700 repair. But the problem is that didn't repair it because the same problem came back and I went to the dealership that sold me the car because I just bought the car a few months before that and they gave me bad information on it. I feel they told me that it was a short in the radio that was causing it. So, I asked them to disconnect the radio. I didn't come back to Endurance for anything else because I figured they would say the same thing. It was a fuse box or it wasn't covered. And the next thing that occurred after I had the radio disconnected is I drove to Florida where I live. North Carolina is the summer.
I came back down here and it started again after I got here. So, I took it to an independent shop and they had a guy who I thought had gone through to the bottom of it and he said that it was in the amplifier that was in my car. So, we disconnected that and I ended up replacing the radio and amplifier because I wasn't having any more problems. However, two months later, it happened again. This was about a month ago. But now, it was not intermittent. It was just solid. I got a sliding roof and it was stuck open. I couldn't operate anything electronically. For some reason, the car was still running and it didn't sound like anything was wrong, but I felt it was unsafe to drive.
So, I drove it to the dealership here in Vero Beach and they've had it there for weeks now. And I've been walking, taking Uber and renting a car if I needed to go somewhere far away. Even though I've got that Endurance policy, I feel I'm alone with this issue because the dealership's response is not responsive enough and I didn't feel like Endurance would be very responsive either because they are supposed to be contacted by the mechanic or the shop that's working on the vehicle to get either an approval or a reading on whether what's going wrong is covered.
With all these diagnostic fees I've paid, which is usually a minimum of one hour labor, which ranges from $95 an hour up to $145 an hour, in replacing the radio and amplifier and the tip, I've had over $3,000 expenses without even considering the expenses I've had for my own transportation getting around. So, I thought a number of times, "I should just cancel my payment and stop this coverage because I'm I'm out here on my own. I'm going to everybody in good faith and giving good money for service that I don't feel like I'm receiving." That's the unfortunate part of it.
I get calls all the time about robocalls about, "Your warranty service is expired," and junk mail. When I called and asked Endurance, tried to press them about what coverage, because this is the fifth shop I've been in and they have so far racked up three hours, which is going to be almost $500, just to diagnose it. Apparently, my policy covers replacement of the whole wiring harness, if that's what they reported it as needing, but it doesn't cover any of the other stuff I've been experiencing, like replacing the control module, the grounds, and the things that are causing my radio to go bad. All these dangers that are happening because I'm driving around, not knowing what's supposed to be on the gauges.
I like the fact that I can pay for the policy by the month instead of having to go 3,000 or whatever dollars upfront. That's a good thing that Endurance offered. It's one of the reasons I wanted to go with Endurance, because that's kind of see how it goes. If I paid all the cash for this policy and all this happened without me getting any help, I would feel that much worse.

I have Endurance on two of my vehicles. When my truck went in a month and a half ago, I dropped it off at the dealership. They found out what was wrong, and I tried to start a claim with that. And at that time, the guy came out, said he wanted to send an inspector out. I get Endurance wants to send inspectors out. But while the inspector is trying to go out, I don't have a vehicle and I can't get a rental car without an approved claim. So, I'm out without my truck, without a rental vehicle, while Endurance sends an inspector out. That's okay if it would be two days. But this went on for almost eight days. They got an inspector out. After that, the inspector said he wanted to further tear it out. 10 days after that, I finally got an approval for that. So, I'm out without a rental car for almost half of a month.
In the middle of that, there was a part shortage out there. And one of the parts would be available for my vehicle. So, I went on and tried to find an option with getting the ABS controller. There's a company out there that will repair what you have so that you can do that. I laid that option to them and they said, "No, we're gonna get it ourselves." I said, "I don't know how you're gonna get yourselves when the manufacturer can't even get it, but okay." So, they said they sourced out, they would send it to the dealer to get repaired. But that didn't happen because they didn't even have one. So, they told me that it was on the way to the dealership to get put on my vehicle when nothing was ever sent out in the first place.
Finally, after they said, "Oh, it's getting delivered today," but there was nothing ever sent, and they came back and said, "Well, we don't have one. We're gonna go ahead with the person that can go out and just refurbish the one you have one." They were the one that I started out in the beginning. It was 10 days after I even started with that. So, I was without my vehicle for over a month. And half of the month, I didn't even have a rental car. That wasn't great. So, I'm a little disappointed about that. To upgrade, they have to cancel the policy and rewrite a new one and then, I have to pay the new current fee. It's ridiculous. I've already prepaid for the policy, so there's no point. I'll keep what I have until it expires. Endurance should be more forthcoming when a new person is signing up and the car qualifies for all the additional add-ons. That was okay, but it was, "Okay, my sale is done. I'm out. Now deal with those guys." And I dealt with another layer. It's three layers and the third layer was not that great. Also, the claim response was a week delay as far as approving. It was a failed transmission. I was out a car for a week, and it ended up to be a month.
Endurance had to send people over to look at the car. So, that took a week for somebody to approve and I was out of pocket for the rental coverage, which I never got money for. I only got 50% of what I could claim. It cost me over $11,000 rental car and I got $85. And the bad part was, because Endurance tried to save money, they decided to give me a refurbished transmission that could be shipped out from somewhere in mid-state. That took a long time. I had to pay more rental car. It would have been cheaper for me to pay upfront for the transmission instead of using Endurance because I paid the whole amount on rental car and I'm still not fine with the transmission. I asked for a supervisor but I could never seem to get a proper supervisor to talk to about it. I sent a letter on December 2nd saying that my claim for oil leaks were denied because they are assuming that these leaks were due to pre-existing conditions. My car is serviced on a regular basis by a BMW Vista dealership since it was purchased. So, it was last serviced 8/2021, and at that time, a thorough inspection was completed. I sent a copy of invoice attachments confirming Vista BMW's vehicle inspection. The report shows no indication of any leaks, which means that the leak recently started. Come to find out there is a list of EXCLUSIONS that is a page and a half long - and guess what - the entire exhaust system is excluded along with a host of other things. BUYER BEWARE and READ THE ENTIRE CONTRACT - DO NOT TAKE THEM AT THEIR WORD!!!

Just wanted to say since I am a new customer I don't have much experience with filing a claim or anything, but the whole process over the phone of getting my account set up and all was very painless. I would highly recommend this company for extended car warranties.

Endurance is a good company and it has stood by me. I filed one claim and it went okay. They have good people to work with you on any situation that you may have. But I thought they were much better. The only thing I don't like about it is I have to have a deposit of $100 before I can even get something done. That’s the part that I didn't have before. That makes me want to pull it back. I had another company where I didn't have to do that and it does the same thing.

The application process was pretty easy. Every representative was really, really helpful. They explained a lot. The representative let me know that there were even more benefits to getting the warranty with Endurance. There were extended benefits. I had one issue where I was told by the dealership that certain things were not covered that I thought were in the policy. They told me that Endurance was refusing to cover it. But then I called Endurance and they cleared it up that it was definitely covered.
During the whole policy, everything was good. But Endurance didn't explain thoroughly to me that there was a cap on the amount that they would cover. When I found that out, I was coming to the end of the policy and there was no one to give me what my options were or if I can renew the policy if I want to. I ended up going to a point where I reached the cap and I didn't know it for like a week or so until I called in. I had to call Endurance about four times to speak to different people so that I could get help and they promised to give me a call back. But they didn't give me a call back about that. I would have liked to go further or get another policy.

The guy that I spoke with broke the coverage down 110%. He was a very good representative of the company. He was very professional and if I had any questions, he gave me his extension number. The thing about buying anything over the phone for people like myself is if I'm giving you information over the phone and I'm not able to see it in person, it makes a little harder. But he made me feel very comfortable. It was very easy process. They allowed me to choose any dealership or repair shop of my choice. I selected a repair shop near my home and they were able to process the claim. Endurance has been a lifesaver. I speak very highly of them and I've told a multitude of people about them.

When I spoke to the salesperson, he provided me with a lot of good information and good pricing. So far, I had two claims and they've been processed properly and with no issues. The good thing with the warranty is that I can take the car to a good dealer or mechanic that I can feel comfortable with that they will do the right job, and so far, it worked out fine.

Endurance Auto Warranty covered one thing for me. The auto shop dealt with them. It was fine. But it needs to be made more clear what is and what is not covered, rather than it being buried in pages and pages crap. So far, it has cost me more to have the warranty than it has for the repairs that they have covered. Also, they didn't cover the suspension, which was $4,500. I have a premium car. So for me, Endurance didn't cover what I thought it would. Which is no fault of theirs. I've got a Mercedes that has air suspension. They didn't cover anything on that.
