Out of all of the companies that we researched, Endurance was the best option to go with. They offered more and had more discounts than most that we were looking at. The rep was nice and very professional. She helped us out. It maybe took an hour to get it all situated and ready to go so I love that she was there to answer any questions we had. I didn’t have an issue and neither did my husband. My car broke down and I didn't have a warranty. It was an unexpected bill and to know that if it does happen again, I can be covered by having the warranty. It covers oil changes and my tires so that's a little help too, especially with us because I have a family of five. It’s something you don't have to pay for.

Setting up the plan was pretty easy. The only thing that was kind of a glitch was it was supposed to be payments were the same as cash. I was shopping to pay cash, but when I told him I was gonna make payments, the guy raised the price. And it was a couple of hundred bucks. Also, the rep was offering me $300 if I signed in soon and that didn't appear. Those things were a drag. Those guys were salesmen, they're not mechanics. So since they won't be fixing my car, it's not like I hold a grudge against Endurance.

Endurance has a one-year payment and a three-year coverage. Their rep was very professional, pleasant, and informative. He answered our questions and called us back when I thought it was a scam. On the whole, the people at Endurance were patient, they weren't pushy, and they let me decide and call them back.

Endurance was able to provide me with more coverage than the manufacturer's warranty. The representative did a great job. She had a good knowledge of the product and did a very good presentation.

The signup process worked out really well. At first I was reluctant because the reps talked fast. I would stop and ask them another question. There were more details to it than what they were telling me. And so I had them email me with some of the information so I could read it also. Everything seemed to be factual from what they were stating. Having a warranty is a peace of mind.

Endurance was insubordinate and inaccurate with the information. The person who was my contact lead was very rude and wanted to curse me. He was blowing on suggestive undertones in his speech. I told him that, for one, I'm a customer. Number two, I’m elder. Number three, I served in the military. So, my respect is due. I'm not with them anymore.

The people from Endurance were very nice and they gave me what I wanted. The purchasing process was very easy. I was just promised a hard copy and a card to put in my wallet, and now, they're telling me they can't give it to me. When I didn't get my stuff through the mail for a while, I called the number that I was supposed to call, and the girl that answered told me that they don't do that anymore. It really makes me very upset that people are not catering to the elderly people. They're catering to all these computer wizards, and I don’t appreciate that at all because it’s like they’ve thrown us to the wayside. It would be a great improvement if they would send me what I want.

My dealership had some experience with Endurance. I signed up with them and they were very informative and they helped. When there were some things that came up with the car, I filed a claim. Endurance did not pay for most of the things that were submitted. There was only one random thing that they paid for. I was calling them to cancel the warranty. But I ended up taking the car back to the lot so they put the cancellation process on hold waiting for me to get a new car and then I may continue it. But I may not. I wasn't really happy with their service. Some of the things that were going wrong with the car should have been covered but they decided they weren't for whatever reason. I was a little disappointed with that.

Endurance gave a free year of service as far as the price is concerned and I liked that. After I read a few reviews, I decided to go with them. Customer service was pretty in-depth and answered all my questions. Just having somebody that was straightforward and explained the differences in some of the local brands was good for me. I trust them to be able to take care of whatever I've got. For what I'm looking for, Endurance was definitely good. They sent me some good documentation about the warranty that was really thorough.

So far, Endurance is okay. I used it on my brakes that were squeaking. I got my brakes done at Firestone and they did the rest. They said they should be paid 149, but Endurance only paid 69.99. When I called back to find out why they didn't pay the 149, they said that it was just because they only pay for the certain parts for the brakes. The brake pads only cost 69.99 and that was what Endurance paid.
I was gonna get CarShield, and I did some research. I saw that Endurance was one of the best ones. I called and then I talked to a young man and he kind of persuaded me to get it. I like the whole plan from what I heard. I haven't really done much reading but the policy that I signed up for, when he was selling me all the benefits of it, I was like, "Okay. That sound like a plan.”

The rep made it sound like Endurance was gonna do a lot more than what happened. She said they would cover transmission but that was a lie. She also said that they would cover one complete brake job. Come to find, out, they only cover $130 so it wasn't worth it. I paid for the cost out of pocket. Also, I was 23 miles away from my 1,000 miles. Something got messed up with the mileage on their end and it cost me $4,700 to get a transmission replaced.

I was shocked that Endurance was willing to pay for something that was substandard instead of a comparable OEM ignition coil. That's not right. According to my reading of the warranty, it said that the ignition coils were covered but it didn't say specifically that it's for a generic ignition coil, not for a DENSO or an OEM Mercedes-Benz ignition coil.
When looking at warranties, it's helpful to know the maximum that the company is willing to pay for labor and a list of maximum prices for parts. Endurance was willing to send a little generic ignition coil and I wouldn't have to pay anything. But my mechanic, who is a Mercedes-Benz certified mechanic, said that the generic one was a piece of junk and he wouldn't put it in the car unless I insisted. In the end, he put in a DENSO, which is Mercedes-Benz comparable and I paid significantly more out of pocket than I expected. I'm looking at other options because I need to read contracts more in-depth so that I'm not surprised by something else happening.

Endurance has some stuff that my warranties on two other vehicles didn't cover. I assumed that it's bumper to bumper except for electric. At the initial point, they pitch everything. Once they go through all the coverages, the guy breaking down the coverages was very knowledgeable on each of the coverages. When I took my vehicle in, the dealership told me I needed to replace the strut. They called Endurance and told them what the issue was. They had to go through the warranty and see where it highlights what it covers that pertains to what we're trying to fix.
The guy that was telling us about it wasn't very knowledgeable. There was a difference between that guy and the initial salesperson. The salesperson would read off a coverage then break it down what the coverage means. The guy that we talked to at the dealership read it word for word and told us it is what it is. It was very vague and wasn't specific. We needed the detail so that we would know for a fact whether something was covered or not. Otherwise, somebody else can interpret it differently. In the end, the dealership was told the warranty doesn't cover the strut. It took us three weeks to get a no and I don't want to go through the hassle again. That changed my mind. I don't want to pay for something that doesn't cover what I need.
I'm trying to cancel the warranty but I'm getting the runaround. I called the 1-800 number that came with the bill and they gave me a different number to call. I called that number and nobody answered then I was hung up on. I called again and this time I wrote the 1-800 number down that I got. I was on hold for 30 minutes then it got cut off again. I called again for the third time. I was told to call back during business hours. Endurance sold me the warranty pretty well but while I was in it, it was as if I wasn't important anymore.

The rep could have done better as far as explaining other tiers of coverage besides just the top one. He sounded like he was in a rush when he called me. He said, “I don't know why you’d want anything but the Platinum.” I said, “I would like to hear the options, but okay.” I liked the cost.

Endurance gave me more coverage on miles. They bumped it up to 250,000 miles. Customer service was nice and they told me a little bit about how to submit a claim if I need any work done. I'll just give the shop Endurance's number. Endurance, on the whole, helps. I had to extend my payment out and they worked with me with that.

Endurance is an old reputable company that I grew up with. They offered me a better and more comprehensive plan. I cancelled the warranty I had that time and took Endurance. They beat the other company's prices and they gave me more services. I’m only paying about 150 a month. The only thing is I can’t make any claims until I get 1,000 miles on the car. So far, I haven’t driven my car enough. If I only have 900 miles on my mileage and my car breaks down because it's taking so long to put 1,000 miles on my car because of the pandemic, that wouldn't be fair. That would be the only thing that I am concerned about. I only have 45,000 miles on my car. Corvettes keep their value based on their miles.

I wanted to have as much coverage as possible. My cars are BMWs with expensive maintenance. I wanted coverage mostly for the powertrain and transmission. Endurance has some options for the suspension, exhaust, stereo, and AC. I'm very satisfied. Customer service was very friendly, they follow through, and it was an easy process. Endurance was the only one I could find that was decently priced. However, they have limitations. If it's above a certain level or you have certain kind of modifications done, they won’t cover it. They only cover it up to a three-inch lift and I put four inches. There's no point of having it if they can't cover if something breaks. But you can't cancel them without making it a headache. They don't do it over the phone or on their website. You go in or call them. You have to fill out a form then have it notarized before they'll cancel it. Normally, when you cancel, they'll give you the previous month but Endurance doesn't do that. You don't get your money back. Also they said until they get that document that shows that it needs to be cancelled and the reason I want to cancel it, they will continue to pull my funds. I'm still fighting to cancel them. I had to call my bank and freeze their request.
Their customer support is a pain. Endurance doesn't handle the repairs. They handle this company called Mepco and I found out that Mepco doesn't like to pay their claims. They like to pull the excuse of the damage being a previous damage before you got the insurance. I have a lot of friends in the auto body and insurance field, and I've heard some pretty bad things about Endurance's repair claim department.
Reviewed Dec. 14, 2021
The signup process was easy. It was just whenever I needed to file a claim, it didn't go as planned. My truck needed a transmission and Endurance didn't want to cover the cost because I didn't have a receipt of the 150,000 mile maintenance on the transmission. I didn't have the documentation due to the fact that the company that serviced my vehicle closed during COVID. So, there was no way for me to get that information. I only needed Endurance for the initial reason of me getting them. I took my vehicle in for service, and they canceled the policy. They refunded me the money that I paid. They allowed that to help go towards the repair, since they couldn’t help me cover it. It was terrible.

The rep was nice and excellent. At the time, I didn't have the downpayment but I called back the next day and the down payment amount did not change. So, Endurance honored that, because I had to move some money around in my account. I appreciate that. You are safe to go ahead and sign up for the services and my amount a month is not bad at all.

Endurance could have gone over the rental car thing with me a little bit better. But it was just me thinking that I could get the rental car as soon as I take my car to the shop. They have a diagnostic and then they only pay after five days after they diagnose. My car was in at nine days, so I ended up being stuck with the other bills. Then they made the reservations for me. They picked up the car. When I got to the rental place, there was no car for me, so I was stranded there. The rental car company made me upgrade in order to get a car so ended up in an SUV. But other than that, everything has been going good.
I got a new claim and my car is back in the shop again. Just called the dealership I had to go through. They didn't know what they were doing because they didn't fix the original problem, although they said they had to fix the water pump and see when the hybrid system would go off. If the hybrid system doesn't go off, they got to check and see what it is next. But now, they're telling me that I need a new transmission and alternator.

I had a previous warranty and they failed us to meet our needs. I checked online and Endurance came up as being one of the top companies to go to. They were clear on what the coverages would be, explained it all, and explained what the cost would be and what it would be covered. I was very comfortable with what they shared with me. For those looking for extended coverage, know the reputation of the company you're dealing with and that they will stand behind the promises that they make. Endurance has that reputation and that was very strong for me. My previous one that is a named company did not do that and so they cost me a lot of money in that respect.

Setting up my coverage online was very easy. I didn't have any issues understanding the terminology and just understanding what the next steps were once I got in their site. What is like is the replacement of key fobs. I have one that is not working correctly and I need to get it replaced. But I wanted to get something a little more than 100,000 miles coverage. Endurance offers it but the cost is a bit more than what I was willing to pay. If they decreased the cost a little bit, I would have gone with a higher mileage warranty on the vehicle.
The coverage is very valuable especially if you do a lot of travelling. I bought my truck to tow my RV. Things break and I needed to have a means to get it fixed. Endurance's warranty was low cost from a copay perspective and no matter where I went, I could get coverage to get the vehicle fixed.

They said that they couldn't do that and that I need to have a total of 1,000 miles. This was ridiculous. I paid for insurance. They were supposed to help me no matter what. I was paying on time. Why would I not drive the mileage that they want if I knew something was wrong with the vehicle? They just found a way out of fixing the vehicle so I got out of that. It was too much to go through with them. I canceled my warranty. They suck and I would never do business with them nor recommend them to anyone.

I haven't had to use it but I don't know what's gonna happen this winter. I purchased the car a couple of months before I signed up with Endurance.

The product was explained very well but I don’t like the way that Endurance does the payments. I like to simply go in through my bank and check off and pay them every month. That would allow me to choose the payment date rather than having to remember that Endurance is gonna pull money out on a certain day, and that date does not correspond with how we pay our bills, so it's a hassle for me to do it. But I liked the policy, so we did it. I was very satisfied with the sign-up experience, which was easy. But I'm not satisfied with the payment option. I get it that that’s the way they do their payments but it’s inconvenient for me. Still, Endurance is a good choice for us and we've recommended it to others.

I was having an issue with a battery and I couldn’t get the car started. Endurance was offering $100 on a battery and to use that, you gotta have your vehicle towed. I was told at the Ford garage it was gonna be five days before they could look at it. They were looking at renting me a car. The first person I talked to on that battery issue was indicating that I could probably go out and buy the battery and submit a claim for it afterwards. When I called back later to try to do that, I talked to somebody else and that individual told me something totally different, that I couldn't do that. I would have to actually have to get it towed in. So, I was getting two different stories there. I didn't submit the claim after I talked to Endurance because it was gonna end up costing me more money than going out and buying a battery and putting it in myself. I got my vehicle in the Ford garage right now getting diagnosed. So, we'll see how that goes.

The rep told me some things that I didn’t know about in my initial research. You should know what the process and the steps are when you go in for repair, if it's necessary and she appeared to be very knowledgeable on that step-by-step process in the event of having to make a claim. She also told me about the extra coverage that would cover things like the electronics in the vehicle and the screens, in the event of trouble. So she went over what was covered in the initial policy and then what was not covered, but could be additionally purchased. Also, she went over the particulars of the coverage itself, which was good to know. She let me know that when I get the actual policy, I would be able to read over it and had set so many days to actually agree to it. When I looked over it, it was exactly what she said. I told her she was a good salesperson because she got me to purchase an additional portion of coverage. It was an excellent experience.
I wasn't looking forward to having any type of claims needing to be done anytime soon but she made me feel confident in the coverage with Endurance over some other ones that I contacted. I recommended some people already and I haven't even used the service yet. But on the flip side of all of these, I had to put a pause on the service because someone totaled my vehicle so I called in a few days after the accident and let them know. The person was helpful enough as they said that they would do that and when I get another vehicle, I just have to call back and transfer the policy from the destroyed vehicle to the next one.

Endurance's price was good until I checked with another company and then I cancelled out. The reps were a little bit too high pressure and I don’t like to be high-pressured. Most consumers do not want to be because that turns you off. If you're trying to sell me something, tell me about the product. But I want you to listen to what I have to say. If I want something, I wouldn't have been calling you in the first place. So you’re telling me about your product, but don’t start with telling me that it’s going to cost me $2,000 or $9,000 to get a new motor, if my motor breaks down. And that you have roadside assistance. I already have roadside assistance so that wouldn't be important to me.
The other thing is, the rep started off with a price but if you refuse it, they come back with even harder pressure. Then, they transfer you from one person to another person, which was supposed to be the higher up. Then that person comes on, and it's another higher up. So by the time you finish with the call, you've spoken to about four people. I'm 80 years old and I’ve forgotten what the first was saying or the second one. So by the time I’m finished, I'm confused. Then they start going down on the price. They could have given me that price in the first place. They made me think there’s something tricky going on.

I wanted the bumper-to-bumper coverage. I ran the numbers, and I liked Endurance's cost over time. There's not a whole lot of difference between the premium packages as far as the coverage. So then, it boils down to the confidence you have in the person you're talking to as far as what they're saying, and the cost. As far as Endurance's customer service, I'm kind of somewhat savvy so I completely understood everything they were saying. They answered the questions just like I hoped they would.

Now, they're telling me I didn't send the cancellation slip back. I'm tired of it and they’re calling me for more payments for this other car I put on it and replaced with the other one. I just had another payment and they’re saying that I owe another one. I told them to apply that payment to this car that I have and that I'm not giving them any of my information again until I see that being done. The payment on this car is only $104 but they send me things that I owe 150-something.
The rep told me to call him back but I’m not gonna go through that. They should refund my money but they still haven’t done anything. Then, my wife just had a car and they wouldn't even pay for her engine after she had a problem with it. She ended up having to pay $5,000 for an engine for her car. I stopped reaching out because I'm tired of them. Every time I talk to somebody, they got some Chinese person on and they don't know how to talk English. I made the initial payment as well as a monthly payment to Endurance, and I was a little bit surprised when I finally got the contract. It said that I have to had 1,000 miles on the car before they would do anything under the contract. I still don't have 1,000 miles on the car because I don't drive the cars much so, that was awkward. But it’s their rule.
I don't have any problem with the sign-up procedure. The only problem is that I didn’t know that they wanted me to wait 1,000 miles. I could care less, because as soon as I picked up the car, I took it to my friend down the road who owns a garage and I had him check everything. He checked the brakes, the tires, the oil and the Freon pressure. He took care of all that and I paid that out of pocket. I already had the car serviced and I don't care about any contracts. Money is not my issue. It's getting something programmed that the boys can use. I bought a 10-year-old Hyundai Accent, because I wanted something for the boys to start and I want them to have it. They start driver's training next year and as long as they're driving the car, it will continue to be insured and it will also have the Endurance service if it works. It doesn’t go away.
Everything was fine, except the terms of the agreement are concerning me. Because I looked up the people that I talked to and they told me that they have people that use Endurance all over the country, and I said, “Okay.” Then, they were telling me that they were trying to recruit as many people as they can as customers in Florida because of the growth in Florida. I live in Polk County so I started looking around to find somebody who uses Endurance in the event that I need to get something done, I would know where to go. I found only one in my area. So, my concern now is that they're moving into Florida, but there aren’t very many people in Florida that will honor Endurance. There are some in Tampa and some in Jacksonville but there are few anywhere else. If I start hunting and I can't find one, I am not gonna be a happy camper. I'll be looking for somewhere else for coverage or another place.
Endurance said I have the right to stop whenever I want to. I’d just tell them to terminate, I don't make any more payments and that's the end of it. I just lose the money that I invested upfront. Now, to make it even more exciting, I'm moving to Oregon and I don't know what Endurance offers in Oregon. Also, there were a few things that Endurance failed to mention that were clearly omitted. One of which was the use of Mepco as finance people. Nobody told me about that and I didn't know until they sent me the bill.

One of the biggest issues with dealerships is payment from warranty companies and they seem to have a good reputation for that. Chris, the rep, was able to supply me a sample contract and we went over it. He was able to tell me that my car was covered bumper-to-bumper. So it was more or less me asking him questions about coverages based off of what other companies told me they won't cover. I asked him if there were any other options that Endurance has that weren't included in what I have. He told me that what I wanted covered was what I would get covered. The only contingency is 30 days and 1,000 miles.

The rep was very knowledgeable and it wasn’t a hard sell situation. It was an informative, decision-making opportunity versus some of the other calls I’ve experienced. I knew about the product during the call and the options that would be covered. Money is important to everybody but I would look for what the most benefits are to you in the event you need an extended warranty. I liked the idea that there was some maintenance included in there with Endurance. I liked it because I was gonna get my cost investment back with them.
People should make sure the price is absolutely the best price the company is going to give you. I went for the first quoted price but there might have been room for negotiation. I'm hoping that the extended warranty is something I may not need and that I'll get through the process without anything major. But with something mechanical, it gives you that self-assurance that you have that support, which was the most important thing to me.

Called for a QUOTE on a car warranty and it seemed that they had it all figured out which warranty package was best for me at this certain price, before I let them know what I wanted and then started to sign me up. Whoa Nellie, I told them that I was interested in less coverage with a smaller price per month and so they went down one size package at a reduced price and then started again to sign me up and they absolutely did not want you to get off the phone before they had a commitment from you to purchase this NOW! They need to slow down and let the consumer talk about what they want first and not ram a select package in their ear. They probably operate on a commission base pay.

The customer service did everything when I purchased the warranty. I purchased two other warranties because I wasn’t sure which one I was gonna go with. I had to get a quote of my mileage and I had to provide the actual mileage. Endurance updated it to what it should be so that was a good thing. I didn’t like though that I paid for a service where I can get a discount on my battery or tires but the customer service reps didn’t explain that that there was an extra charge. I was assuming that was part of the package. I didn’t know about it till after I spoke to a second rep an that was when they told me that it was something I could get annually. They could have at least explained it to me because they had billed my card three different times and I didn't understand why. So, that was a plus for me. It wasn't like he was saying something to get me to sign up and then I get bamboozled later on down the line. All in all, it was a good experience. I had to break up that initial payment and start a payment. So, the second part of the payment did not go through automatically because there was an issue with my credit card that they have on file. They saved me somewhere in the neighborhood of $8,000 or $9,000 over the time that I had it with my Z4 so I figured it was worth the investment. It paid for itself. This time, I did a search on them and seeing that they were number one, I called them. They realized I was a repeat customer, and they gave me a discount. I'm anticipating I would get good service from them. I hope I never have to use it. But you never know until something happens, and then hopefully, it'll be something that's covered.
