I would never recommend this company. I got this policy in 2022 and have never used it. I called today, December 23, 2024 to ask about my key fob malfunction and was told by the first person it was covered and I just needed to call and they would reimburse me after my repair. Then I was unsure about the preauthorization so I called and talked with a different person who then said my key fob repair was no longer covered. You gotta be kidding me. Super upset!!!
Kara, we're sorry to hear about your negative experience. We have high expectations at Endurance and would love the opportunity to improve. Please get in touch with us at feedback@endurancedirect.com, and we will see what we can do to make this right. Thank you, The Endurance Team

I first learned about Endurance through an ad my wife found. Since our car was out of warranty and we drive it a lot, we decided to look into it. When I reached out to them, the initial interaction was positive. After returning from a trip, I appreciated their consistent follow-up via email, which prompted me to resume contact. I had a detailed conversation with a helpful representative who clearly explained what the coverage included and didn't include. Although the deductible wasn't initially mentioned, once asked, the representative was clear and informative, having an understanding approach that resonated with me as someone who also works in sales.
I was already approved for the program, attracted by a discount offered. The coverage will begin after the mandatory waiting period, specifically at the start of next year. They emphasized the importance of regular car servicing, which made sense to me.
The sign-up process took about 30 minutes, largely due to my detailed questioning. If I were to rate it, I'd give the experience a high score, given that the customer service exceeded my expectations. I opted for the coverage because it made financial sense given potential expensive repairs, like transmission issues, on our Hyundai Palisade. For anyone considering extended coverage, I'd recommend including Endurance in their research.

I first heard about Endurance through a Google search while doing some research online. As my vehicle was getting older, I wanted to keep it and ensure peace of mind, which led me to consider extended coverage. I researched about six different companies before deciding on Endurance because they seemed to offer the best value for money without excessive waiting times or unnecessary details.
The sign-up process had its ups and downs. The only thing I didn't like was the difference in the price quoted online versus when I called them. The online quote seemed more generic, and the actual price was higher, but I eventually negotiated a cheaper rate in the long run. Other than that, my interaction with the representative was positive.
Regarding coverage, the representative mentioned the details would be available online and in the contract. I had reviewed a sample contract prior, so I knew what to expect. As for the perks, there was roadside assistance for the first year, but it required a $50 fee. After a year, the perks such as access to the app were no longer available unless renewed.
Overall, I'd rate my sign-up experience closer to a 4 as it provided the peace of mind I was looking for.

I recently renewed my coverage with Endurance Auto Warranty, having used them before through the dealership from where I bought my car. The process of purchasing for my current vehicle was smooth, and the representative was very helpful and informative about the coverage options available. They ensured I understood how to make a claim, even though I haven't needed to file one yet.
I opted for the first or second tier of coverage, which seemed reasonable compared to other options I've considered. However, one drawback has been the delay in receiving my paper copy of the coverage details. As I prefer not managing these online, this has been a bit inconvenient, and I plan to follow up with them about it.
Overall, my experience with Endurance has been positive, and I would rate it 4 out of 5, acknowledging that there's always room for improvement. I would consider recommending them based on the service I've received so far.

I decided to get an auto warranty coverage because I had been paying out of pocket for many expenses that could have been covered by Endurance. This seemed like a good time to make the switch. While I didn't have a specific reason for choosing Endurance over others, I did receive a call from them, which led to me signing up. That happened a couple of weeks ago.
The experience with the representative during the sign-up process was excellent. They were very friendly and explained things thoroughly, which I appreciated. I received a discount because I initially wanted to cover two cars, although my other car, being a '99 model, was too old to qualify for coverage.
While I can't remember all the details, I believe there was some requirement to be met before the coverage would start, such as a certain number of days or miles driven.
Overall, I would rate my experience as excellent and would recommend the process to others.

I purchased a used car, and I decided to look into getting an auto warranty. Endurance Auto Warranty kept coming up as the best or most recommended company during my online research, so I chose them, hoping it was the right decision.
The sign-up process with Endurance was straightforward. The representative clearly explained the policy coverage and any initial requirements, like the 30 days or 1,000 miles I needed to meet before the coverage would begin. Thankfully, I've already reached the mileage requirement.
Although I haven't used the coverage yet, the representative was helpful in adjusting the policy to accommodate my vehicle's lift kit, ensuring it was adequately covered. The sales process was smooth, and I appreciated any discounts or promotions they had at the time. Regarding the price, like most people, I find things to be expensive, so I would rate it a 3 out of 5 in terms of overall cost.
My experience so far has been positive.

The sign-up process was excellent; the representative I spoke with was very professional and explained everything thoroughly, convincing me to choose their service. They have three different kinds and I opted for the diamond coverage.
I was so satisfied with my experience that I recommended endurance to my sister, who signed up the very next day. Overall, customer service and the quality of service I received were excellent. The pricing was also reasonable. I am very satisfied and would rate my experience a 5 out of 5.

I recently decided to get an auto warranty with Endurance Auto Warranty for my 2016 Toyota truck, which has only 61,000 miles on it. Although Toyotas are known for their longevity, I took out the warranty because the pricing was reasonable, and it covers bumper-to-bumper, which includes the radio, backup camera, and more. The sign-up process was straightforward, and I didn’t have any issues with it. As someone who’s 75, I don’t remember every detail, but my overall experience has been positive so far.

I've recently signed up with Endurance for an auto warranty after stumbling upon their offer in an email. Initially, I wasn't actively shopping for a warranty, but I had purchased a relatively new truck and was advised by friends to consider it due to potential issues associated with the vehicle.
The decision to choose Endurance was largely influenced by the salesperson's knowledge and responsiveness. She had answers to all my questions without needing to pause or check further, which was impressive. I generally take my time to make decisions, wanting to look over contracts and consult repair shops to see if they acknowledge and handle such warranties. It took a total of three phone calls before I committed to the purchase, which she was understanding about.
As for the coverage, it seems quite reasonable. They offer various tiers, ranging from affordable to quite pricey—almost as much as a car payment per month. I opted for a slightly better-than-basic plan, which suits my needs.
The one thing pending is receiving the contract in the mail, which hasn't arrived yet. I understand there may be a waiting period of around 30 days, during which you can decide if you want to retain the policy or not, so it might be delayed due to this.
Overall, my experience with Endurance was very positive. The process was smooth, and I felt well-informed and valued throughout. I would rate my experience as excellent and would recommend them based on my experience so far.

I recently purchased a new vehicle and wanted to ensure it was protected, which led me to consider an extended auto warranty. I chose Endurance after seeing a commercial on TV, and coincidentally, received a call from them just as I was about to contact them myself. My experience signing up was quite positive. The representative was informative and covered everything I was looking for, which made the process smooth.
The program is already activated, but I mentioned needing a copy of the paperwork, as my email tends to get cluttered. I purchased my vehicle in 2008, and despite its low mileage, I felt it was important to have this coverage for peace of mind. Overall, I'd rate my sign-up experience at a 5, as I would recommend it to friends and family. I've previously had experience with Endurance for another vehicle and found it beneficial.
In summary, I believe getting an auto warranty with Endurance is a smart decision for anyone looking to protect their investment.

Endurance Auto Warranty sent me a letter with a reference number to call if I was interested. The customer service experience during the sign-up process was positive. The representative I spoke with was very customer-oriented, which made me feel confident in trying out their service.
I was somewhat disappointed when I received the information only in digital form through email, as I'm not very computer-savvy. I was expecting to receive a physical package, but thankfully, my son helped me access the documents via email. Overall, I would rate my experience with Endurance a 4 out of 5.

I recently found out my truck's warranty expired about 1,000 miles ago, which prompted me to look into extended coverage. I was interested in getting an extended warranty because I missed the opportunity to get one from the dealership in time.
The representative at Endurance was very thorough in explaining everything covered by the warranty, making me feel informed, much like a high school class due to the detail provided. The program was set to start 30 days from sign-up, although I can’t remember if I signed up for a 4 or 5-year term.
My sign-up experience was excellent, and I'd give it a 5 out of 5, recommending it to friends and family due to the remarkable service.
My advice to others would be: Don't wait until your original warranty is up. Act ahead to avoid limited options later. An extended warranty can really be beneficial, especially after your regular warranty expires, as it can pay for itself if you encounter any breakdowns.

My experience with the representative during the signup process was very positive. They were knowledgeable and had a great attitude, explaining the policy and coverage thoroughly. There were certain requirements I needed to fulfill before the coverage would begin, such as driving the car for at least 30 days or adding another 1,000 miles, which was no issue for me as I typically put that many miles on my car in just a week.
Overall, I'd rate the entire process very highly. The signup process, policy coverage, customer service, and pricing all deserve top marks in my opinion.

I decided to get a warranty coverage because the coverage for the vehicle I purchased had expired, so I needed to find a new provider. I chose Endurance Auto Warranty Service because it had a high rating. During the sign-up process, the representatives were fine and went over the policy details, benefits, co-pay, and other relevant information, though I don't recall any specific waiting period or mileage requirements before the coverage started. I believe I opted for the platinum plan, but I'm not entirely sure.
One positive aspect was that after discussing with another representative on a follow-up call, I was able to secure a better deal, which was a welcome surprise. However, the sign-up process felt a bit lengthy, but overall, it was satisfactory. I would rate the process a 4 out of 5. Customer service was excellent, deserving a full 5. The warranty coverage itself was complex, as understanding all the details was overwhelming, but the sales and marketing process also received a 4 out of 5 from me. The price was a bit higher than expected, leading to another 4 out of 5 rating.
In summary, my experience with Endurance Auto Warranty Service has been mostly positive with a few areas for improvement, mainly related to the complexity and price of the coverage.

My experience with signing up for an Endurance auto warranty was very positive overall. I decided to get the warranty because both my vehicles were out of warranty, and I was frequently getting calls about it. The deciding factor in choosing Endurance over other providers was the representative I spoke with on the phone. She was wonderful and offered me a discount, which was appreciated, and she was also very friendly and knowledgeable.
During the sign-up process, they thoroughly explained the policy and what it would cover. I was informed that the coverage would start after reaching 1,000 miles, which, for me, isn’t a big issue since I drive frequently and maintain my vehicles well. Although the sign-up process was somewhat long, it was informative.
I haven't utilized customer service yet, as I haven’t had any issues with my vehicles. However, I'm satisfied with the peace of mind the warranty provides. Based on my initial experience, I’d rate the sign-up process a 4 due to the mileage requirement, but I'd give the overall warranty coverage a rating of 5 based on what was explained to me. The sales process was also excellent, deserving a 5 in my opinion, and the price I pay is fair, so I'd rate it a 4.

I recently decided to look into an auto warranty because my luxury Cadillac only has a 3-year warranty, and I felt the need for additional coverage. Initially, I contacted Endurance Auto Warranty last year when we bought the car, but the quote was close to $6,000 for 72 months, which my husband and I decided against. A year later, with two years left on the Cadillac warranty, I revisited the option and received a call from Endurance. Unfortunately, the first representative tried to pressure me into signing up immediately, offering a discount if I committed on the spot, which isn't my style. I wanted the terms sent to me for review, but he never followed up.
Later, another gentleman reached out. His approach was much more professional and understanding, respecting my need to review the paperwork and ask questions. Following this, I called back a few days later, and the representative I spoke with was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He even worked at Cadillac, which reassured me greatly about the compatibility of the Endurance warranty with my vehicle.
This representative patiently answered all my questions regarding coverage details, costs, and limitations. He clarified tax details and coverage limits, assuring me that major repairs wouldn't exceed the car's value. His thorough explanations made me confident in the decision to sign up. I even received an extended and discounted plan, better than what I was initially offered last year.
Overall, my experience with Endurance was positive, largely due to the professional and knowledgeable staff, despite the poor initial call. I'd rate my experience a 4 out of 5, reflecting that poor initial interaction. However, the subsequent follow-ups, particularly with the representative Judd, were excellent and deserve a full 5-star rating.

My experience signing up was smooth; they answered all my queries and even sent me the necessary documentation without hassle, which was crucial for me before signing up.
I had looked at three different companies before choosing Endurance, and ultimately, a gut feeling led me to them. Although I've not had any claims yet, as we've recently started, I appreciate that the people I've dealt with seem like they genuinely know what they're doing.
The program was to start 30 days and 1,000 miles after enrollment, and I was informed it's a five-year contract. So far, the coverage seems to suit us well, especially since our van is 12 years old, and we're anticipating eventual issues as it's been reliable up until now.

Despite my frustration and the tone of my voice, Angel remained calm, assured me everything would be okay, and apologized for the misinformation. His professionalism in de-escalating the situation impressed me greatly.
I decided to look into auto warranty coverage due to previous issues with a different vehicle. Living in Brooklyn, New York, it's important to have some protection. While I haven't received the complete coverage details yet, my initial impression of Endurance is positive.

I very rarely take the time to write negative reviews. That being said, I find warning people about this business is a necessary thing to do. My Mother took out a claim on her vehicle with this company, used the vehicle well over the 30 days and 1k mileage stated in her contract when the transmission decided to malfunction.
We filed a claim and it was of course denied because they deemed it a "pre-existing" condition. The vehicle is a Nissan and I am in fact a Certified Nissan Master Technician. I can tell you that in this case there was no way for them to be sure it was a "pre-existing" condition. I am sure that this company just did not want to cover the repair cost since that cost is going to be more than the whole policy is worth. I already wrote to the Endurance feedback team that they say to respond to on here and even called them to attempt to reason with them. They basically ended up re-assuring me that it is denied and is going to stay that way. My advice, stay away from this company and go with a better one.

I received a call from Endurance Warranty and now have a positive experience with them. I give them a 4 star rating. Thank you Endurance.
Original Review: Dec. 17, 2024
I am a current Endurance customer and have had my policy for well over a year and kept my payments up to date. Recently I had to take my 2016 Chevy Equinox to the mechanic shop where they told me I would need a new motor. They then called Endurance to report a claim. I was asked by the inspector to provide the last 3 receipts for my oil change which I did. A 3rd party inspector sent by Endurance looked at my car and stated that the vehicle had been well taken care of and that the motor went out from the miles and not from from neglect. He approved the claim for a motor to be replaced. He reported his findings to the claims adjuster. The claims adjuster called the mechanic and stated that the required documents had not been met for the oil change and therefore the claim was denied.
I contacted customer service and spoke with Jay the supervisor who informed me my claim was denied because the ASE certified shop for my oil changes provided a paper copy of my oil changes instead of a printed copy. He informed me that this was on page 5 of my 35 page contract. This is the only reason the claim is being denied. My shop where I get my oil changes doesn't have a computer but they provided all of the necessary information on it including their letterhead. I am extremely upset and feel like I have been taken advantage of. The salesman that sold me the contract never mentioned this to me.
From a legal standpoint, Endurance may have a legal right. However, this is just a loophole for them to get out of paying for a motor. From an ethical and moral view, this reflects the company's real mission statement which includes misleading ads, management that doesn't support its customers, bait and switch tactics. Their goal is to find a way to not pay claims. I wanted to also mention that this is the first claim I have ever filed with Endurance. While I may have been taken advantage of, I hope this is seen by potential customers looking to get a warranty through Endurance. I would absolutely NOT recommend them for a warranty. I will also be following up with the BBB better business bureau.
Daun, we’re sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We are committed to the satisfaction of our customers and value your feedback. My truck is in good shape as of now. Had 2 issues one big that was fixed. So I will experience this later on in years to come. We will see later on how good this warranty is.

I had CarShield before with another vehicle and I screwed up. I should have just transferred it with them, but I didn't. I canceled it. When I tried to go back, I was quoted one price at about 60 bucks, then they called me right back within six minutes and it was raised above $100. I told them no. After that, I did a lot of research. I got a quote from Endurance at one time for $75, but that went away. When I called back and finally decided to piss on and do it, they were the number one on Consumer Reports, which is what led me to them. I was really pleased with Endurance's customer service. I speak what I think and that's gotten me in trouble a little here and there, but for the most part, the gentleman that helped me was very nice, very understanding, and put up with my mouth. He put up with me for quite a bit 'cause it took a bit to get everything done.

This company replace my transmission on my 2015 Hyundai Elantra $3,000. First claim ever for my car, was in the shop, engine started to smoke. Nobody knows why. Endurance rep went and checked it out. They had no answers. Never smoke before. Advised me to take it to a Nissan Hyundai dealer. Have been paying for this warranty for over 2 years. First time ever used it on my transmission repair. Now with engine problem they took it to another shop. This shop said they don't understand what went wrong with it and what the shop did.
Needless to say this new shop which is a big dealer here in Tucson Arizona calls and doors and tell him that something was going on with the engine. It could not be repaired. Endurance Representative makes a call to the shop and tell them they will not pay for it. The car is too old and they just spend money on a transmission. You need to meet the final lines on this thing. If they decide not to pay anymore and say your car is too old they will not pay. So I had to go pick up my car and sell it as parts and during denied my claim. I try to get my deposit back and they said they couldn't give it back to me.
Such a terrible experience. Watch how many repairs you have to do they will not pay for everything. They will totally deny you the rest if they believe they spend too much money on their vehicles very fine lines at the end of this documentary. Be very careful with endurance. Very rude people. You pay all this money even though it's an older car which they advise you to get over older car. I still had 150,000 miles left on my warranty and they denied it and got no refund back. Nothing. Hung up on me, never talk to me again.

Endurance's rep was very good. She was very informed and shared it with me, and listened to me. I don't drive a lot because I'm 82 years old. So, it's more pleasure, going to the grocery stores, maybe down to my daughter's house, occasionally. But even with that, most of the times, somebody goes with me, my son or somebody because I don't like driving at night by myself. That was the basis of the conversation. The car is in great shape. I always have it handled at the dealership or at my mechanic if I needed tires, but I don't see any issues. It's only got 33,000 miles on it. So, there was two things I'm looking at. I was looking at car warranties and auto insurance. Because I was looking to see if I could get a better premium since the car is garage kept and it only has so little mileage. The girl was very thorough.

I saw the advertisement on the television and I decided on an extended warranty due to the age of the vehicle. I was happy with the coverage that the rep from Endurance told me. I received a notice today that my contract is ready. It’s online and I haven't had an opportunity to review it. You’re always questioning things when they ask for money about a contract. You can't itemize what's covered and what's not. It wasn't clear and it's still not super clear. There were a lot of questions that were answered as far as some coverage, but it's always the nickel-dime areas.
If an engine goes out, a lot of companies will say okay. But that's not due to a particular use or a particular way of the engine failing. It's because of maybe not so much neglect on your part like if something breaks. Just like I asked about heating and the rep said it’s not covered. I need to look at this contract closely because if the heater coil goes out and I'm not receiving heat, it’s not covered. And that's not a very inexpensive item.
The rep didn’t go over the top with explanations. She defined my questions as close as she could. If I ask a question, then she would respond to it. I would have liked to hear voluntarily what was not covered. She gave me a list of a lot of things that were covered but I never heard exactly what was not covered. I understand, even at my age and in my vehicle, that normal wear and tear is not covered. If a tire blows, that has nothing to do with it. But belts and hoses and things of that nature are considered normal wear and tear. So, I don't expect that to be covered. She said my vehicle was covered from the day of signing up, but I had 30 days to cancel the program if I didn’t like it.
I've got a 48-month contract. They're billing me up for 36 months and once that's paid, I get 12 months where I don't have to pay anything and I’ll still have the coverage. I have a $100 deductible, which at the age of my vehicle, is normal. That was not a problem for me. People should read their contracts and pay attention to what they're getting. Ask the questions and don't take anything for granted. Contracts are binding and they need to be reviewed on your behalf very closely. Pay attention to your vehicle and what your vehicle needs may be.

Well, I purchased Endurance in good faith as my warranty had ended on my truck and I needed coverage. I saw commercials about Endurance on tv and all of the people were saying how easy it was to file a claim and get their vehicles repaired. I called and was told that I had the top tier coverage with all of these perks which included car rental and roadside assistance. I made my payments on time, usually early and never worried about my coverage. I finally had to make a claim when the lifters in my truck collapsed. I took it to the shop and told them my lifters were disabled. The shop took two weeks to do a diagnostic on my truck only to find that my lifters were disabled (duh). They contacted Endurance who sent an adjuster about a week later, who saw that there was a problem with the lifters. The question now was do they fix the lifters or replace the motor.
Another two weeks go by and now the adjuster wants proof of my last 3 oil changes. I get them and send them to the shop and 4 days later they want me to resend them because part of one of the invoices was covered. Mind you, all 3 of the invoices say the exact same thing under the descriptions. So, I resend them, fully uncovered, and wait for them to start work on my truck. It's been a month that they have had my truck. Another week goes by and I get a call saying the adjuster now wants to break down the motor to find the cause of the lifters being disabled. The cost is 900 dollars that I would have to pay if he decides to deny the claim (Yes, I am still waiting for the claim to be approved).
I have to authorize this or they can't move forward with the procedure. Now what do I do? Take my truck and not have it repaired? Of course I authorized it. Unless the adjuster is a mechanic, he won't even know what he's looking at when the motor has been broken down. NO mechanic can tell what's going on underneath the carburetor or shafts without taking them out and that's what diagnostics are for. I've had my truck diagnosed and gotten any issues fixed. Now, almost 2 months later, I'm waiting on an adjuster to try and find a reason to deny the claim and get this, they won't even cover a rental car until the claim is approved. Does this sound right to anyone?

I recently had a disappointing experience with my extended warranty service and feel compelled to share it. My vehicle needed engine mount replacements last year, and while the repairs were initially covered, the quality of the parts and workmanship is highly questionable. Within just four months of the first replacement, the mounts failed again. I took my car back under the warranty, hoping this time would be different. Unfortunately, less than two months after that second replacement, I’m facing the same exact problem.
This pattern of premature failures strongly suggests they’re using refurbished or substandard parts rather than reliable, OEM-quality dealer parts. If the mounts had been up to proper standards, I shouldn’t be experiencing repetitive breakdowns in such a short timeframe. The constant back-and-forth and repeated downtime for my vehicle has been frustrating, time-consuming, and costly—especially considering I’m paying for a warranty that’s supposed to provide peace of mind.

I was looking for an extended warranty and I was gonna think about it, but then I said, “Just sign me up.” I've bought things before, found them good with the sales reps, then they didn't live up to what they said. I’m hoping this is all correct. I signed up for the bumper-to-bumper warranty and I have to get at least 1,000 miles on the car in 30 days before it goes in effect. My brother always told me I could trust ConsumerAffairs and Endurance seemed to have had a good rating then. The reps were very good in getting everything set up and explained things to me. I was impressed with the way they helped me. They understood. My only thing is, it's a month and 1,000 miles. The month is not a problem. But I'm gonna have to drive my car around my neighborhood a million times for the 1,000 miles.
I have full coverage. The rep said bumper-to-bumper because I told them I don't have anyone that can work on it and nothing's been done on it. When my husband and I bought it, it only had 13,000 miles on it and I've had it long enough to pay it off. We've had it about a year before he passed away. So, it's been a good car and it can be a good car as long as I take care of it. But if something major happens, I wouldn't have the money to repair it and I wouldn't have anyone to repair it. I'm on a fixed income. I wouldn't be able to fix my car if something happened to it. Sometimes it seems high but for the coverage I get, it's a good price.
I've been telling friends signing up with Endurance was easy to do. Since most of my friends have a car around the same age as mine, I said that if they could afford it, I would do it. Some of them have sons or husbands who can help. I don't have a husband that can work on my car. I have grandsons that could but won't. So, I said okay. Then we started talking about the monthly cost and how many months I'd be paying, which is approximately 30 months, and I'd be still be insured for five years. So, that seemed to be okay. He answered all my questions and I made up my mind that they were my best choice. They said the policy would be activated one month from the date that I signed up and I'm assuming that that is customary with all plans. Everything went very well with my sign-up. I was prepared to answer all the questions and I had questions of my own. They answered them for me. But I found the process to be a little bit lengthy. First time using warranty after paying on it for about two years. Not a good experience. My car is leaking oil. I was able to get it to the shop I wanted to repair it. I had to make a total of 3 calls. I was assured my policy showed active. The dealership called. Was told it was inactive. I had to call again. The rep I spoke to told me there was a glitch in the system then she asked me what was wrong with my car and where I want to take it. I told her where it was. She told me just because it's the dealership doesn't mean it's the best mechanics. They raise the price and she went on this whole spiel about how much the part should cost and labor and how the dealership is gonna double that price and recommend things I don't need.
She told me I should take my car to an affordable shop. I told her with the oil leak I didn't want to risk ruining my engine driving it somewhere else. I can't make this up. She told me she can tell me how to check the oil. She told me to pick up a quart of oil and just check it to make sure my car won't run out of oil. I asked her why would I do that when I have it at the repair shop I want to fix my car then she started to try to shame me for wanting to stick with a dealership.
I'm already stressed about my car being broke down. It seems like they are trying to find any reason not to pay. She called the dealership on conference, asked them how much oil was in my car. He told them with the leak it was like a quarter short. She kept asking him if he was sure that was accurate. It was a whole nightmare and if they play with me and don't cover this job I'm canceling this contract. It's not worth the hassle. I did have to callback again because when the dealership called them again my account was inactive. I spoke to Roneisha. She got the glitch taken care of and now I can file my claim. Just waiting now to see what excuses will be used to not approve it.

So, I studied and read a little bit. I said I would call and see what type of information they could offer me that might help and save me even though the policy that I had previously was a little bit more affordable. This one's a little bit higher. The sales agent was very courteous and had good customer service skills. He explained everything and told me that I could start my policy. They have my policy in a computer so that at a certain date, it'll take the payment off and I'll be starting my coverage. We have a 2018 Ford Explorer with 122,000 miles on it and we had an extended warranty when we bought that car, but it ran out at 100,000 miles. We love our car and there are no issues with it at all. So, we decided to find another extended warranty. We've seen some of the commercials for Endurance and I had also looked at reviews and they were good. There were some other companies that weren't that good so we decided to call Endurance. We enjoyed talking with the gentleman very much. He was very plain and well-spoken. He was never pushy. He didn't try to sell me something I did not want or need. He was very personable and explained everything very well. He even told us the options for payment. So, the whole experience was very good and we decided to sign up right then and there.
We live in Texas right now but we are in the process of moving to Wisconsin. We go from Texas to Wisconsin about four times a year and that's quite a few miles. It’s why the car has 122,000 miles on it. Once we get moved up there, we'll be close to family and we will not be driving back down to Texas. So, our mileage is going to go down greatly. So, everything seemed to fit. The coverage would be appropriate for where our vehicle is and where we are. It was exactly kind of what we needed and expected for a vehicle with over 100,000 miles on it. The price that the rep explained to us was reasonable. It wasn't outrageous so it didn't seem like a problem.

I have a Dodge diesel pickup that I drive a lot of freeway miles and I was concerned about the mileage on it. I didn't wanna spend $300 a month so the policy that I have covers drastic things, engine, transmission, and special electric things is fine with me. For what Endurance covers, it's well worth the money.
I've had Endurance for almost a year and I went in to increase my mileage but I found out they charged me for both the old plan and the new plan. When I talked to somebody who knew what they were talking about and wasn’t just a salesman, she explained the best way to do it where I would get the most for my money. So, we kept the old plan until I get close to the higher mileage and then we'll buy the new plan instead of losing out on two years of my old plan and starting another plan. It's like I have never used it.

I chose Endurance Auto Warranty because after talking with the representative, I felt very confident about what it all covered. The only thing that I didn't like about the coverage is that it isn't a full gap coverage, meaning if I had an accident, it wouldn't cover the full difference. It would only cover $2,000 of the difference. That's concerning. But because I had a bankruptcy, I couldn't get a better deal. So, for people like me who are stuck in this situation, this is a great deal because it covers tires and oil and all those parts that I would not even think of that would cost $3,000 to $4,000 out of pocket. Endurance was able to quote me very quickly, and assured me it wouldn't be very expensive. It covers my car for only 120 a month.
The rep was very understanding that I didn't know what car stuff is. I said, “I need something that covers car stuff.” He said, “Okay. Let me tell you which plans we have and what they cover.” He went through each one of them for me to make sure I chose the one that I wanted. I picked one of the bigger plans because it covers transmission, axles, carburetor, and covered major pieces inside with the engine. I felt that would be the best deal because those are the things that break on older vehicles. My vehicle is a 2016, so I wanted to make sure that I had coverage for all of the little things that I couldn't think of. For the value and the price, if you can't get a warranty through your car dealership, this is the way to go.

This company is little more than a scam. BEWARE of their advertising. They claim to be BBB A- Rated. They are NOT rated by the BBB and in fact said bureau had reported over 3000 consumer complaints in the last 3 years, with over 1300 in the last year alone. Facebook has a customer sponsored site, Endurance Warranty are liars...!!!" , that lists dozens of complaints, all similar in nature. Endurance refusing to pay for repairs blaming most denials on "pre-existing conditions". In addition, many dealers/repair facilities will not longer accept Endurance because of their lack of customer care and refusal to pay for repairs. I will use my own case involving my '07 Mini Cooper as a classic example of how Endurance handles warranties.
1. Car developed a miss. Took it to the repair facility. Was told the turbo had a leak and should be replaced. 2. Endurance demanded all maintenance receipts along with parts/labor estimates. (This process took nearly 3 weeks. Their paid advertising "actors" stating their vehicle repairs were completed in 24/48 hours are simply false. They violate Endurance's standard claim procedures". After this information is submitted, it goes to a "underwriter" for approval. 2. Underwriting then contacted the me to see if I would agree to a "used" turbo, that they would warranty for 1 year. I agreed. This process took another week.
3. The used turbo was installed, but an engine miss was still apparent. The shop suspected valves. Endurance was contacted again. 4. Endurance informed me that I would have to pay for a complete engine teardown, ($1200), and that pictures and additional parts/labor estimates would have to be submitted. Another week in the shop. 5. After this was done Endurance denied my claim, stating I operated the vehicle, (20 miles to the repair shop), and that was the cause of the valve failure. Valves do NOT fail in 20 miles. The repair facility manager told them this. Their response was "pre-existing condition". If you read Endurance's FB reviews, you will find that response is one of their favorites to deny claims.
More and more of Endurance's customers are filing complaints with the BBB, Consumer Affairs and ther respective state's Attorney General's Office. Many names/emails have been exchanged and list compiled in attempts to file a class action lawsuit. Many of us just don't want other consumer's to fall victim to this company's shady practices.
I was fortunate. I owned my car. I simply signed over the title to cover the engine teardown and storage costs. Others have not been so fortunate. They owe on their vehicle and many are now stuck with a repair bill that in many cases exceeds several thousand dollars. Last year alone television news station in NC did a story about Endurance refusing to pay for covered repairs on her Audi. It was repossessed. It was only after the story was televised and Endurance contacted, that they agreed to pay. Too late.
Another tactic Endurance uses is that when pressed with legal action, they only offer to refund/partially refund your premiums. That does little more than get them off the hook for a repair bill. I have no doubt that this company may have paid for repairs here and there. Especially in Illinois where they are incorporated and can be sued in small claims court. In states outside of Illinois there is little recourse because they cannot be served.
The point of this review?:1. Their advertising is false.
2. The terms of their warranty are false.
3. Their claim of a BBB A- rating is false.
4. The advertised customer satisfaction reviews are in many cases false.
5. Please do your diligent research before purchasing a warranty. Many of us purchased this warranty based on their false BBB rating and false customer review claims. Don't fall for it.

So the rates that we were able to get were decent as far as the year term that he gave me. So, I went forward with it and everything seemed to be perfectly fine.
I hadn't had a chance to utilize the service yet so I can't say whether or not it was gonna be to my benefit but I have faith that it would. However, after purchasing the warranty, a couple weeks in, later after that purchase, our truck ran into some problems. We had not been within the program for over 30 days and we didn't have over 1,000 miles. So, we couldn't use it. Also, I wasn't satisfied with the amount of money that I had to pay out of pocket based on the repair. While waiting for my car to get approval for them to pay for the repair, I asked the shop on what car warranty places do they usually deal with where I would not have to go through a lot of jumping through hoops. Endurance was the first one that they mentioned, so I contacted them.

And if there's any problem in the road, roadside assistance. If you don't believe us, go to any mechanic or dealer and you will see." I took their word and this month I will have the pleasure to use it. Endurance is the best, and I would tell people they should try it as well.

I googled insurance for cars that break down, and it was Endurance or CarShield. I purchased the Endurance policy last month and the process was very easy. I've made the first payment, and my second payment comes out on the 7th. I'm told the policy is good, but I had CarShield before as well. They told me everything was good, then I made a claim, and they screwed me.

I called CarShield, and they sent me over to Endurance and their rep was excellent. When I take my car in to a shop to have whatever work done on it, they told me it's a $100 deductible. Besides that, I asked for a paper copy of my policy, and I have not yet received that. I would also like my hoses and the coolant cap covered in the policy, but I was told it's not.

I looked into auto warranties 'cause the warranty had expired on my car. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and Endurance had better reviews and very good ratings. Someone also told me, "Definitely, do not go with CarShied. They were the worst." The sales agent from Endurance was very good. We went through the explanation and the price range, and signup went okay.

The rep went through the information and everything that was covered. She looked at the best possible option for me. When I went to go through everything, she asked me some follow-up questions, being law enforcement and things like that. She's like, “Well, you qualify for this, the law enforcement discount.” They automatically upgraded me to an elite member. Then she went over a few more options and then said, because I was preemptively looking to cover my vehicle before the warranty was already up, that she was gonna apply a different discount as well for being ahead of the curve and not waiting for the warranty to run out. Once I got off the phone after about an hour or two, I got the approval message. They covered me up to 40,000 miles. So, it was pretty quick right after that.
The rep was very conscientious when she was explaining everything and what would be covered. She asked for my VIN number on the truck. When she pulled it up, she even told me about a common issue with the motors and that they've covered it before. I've had one of these vehicles before and had that issue. So, if there was ever anything to go wrong with the truck, I know what to look for. I was impressed by her just sitting there saying, “As long as you keep up with the normal maintenance and things like that,” I'll be covered and I'll be handled very well under Endurance. So, her knowledge of everything was very impressive. Also, for the price that I'm paying and the amount of protection that I get, it was phenomenal.

The guy that I dealt with was very well-versed and I had no problem going forward with Endurance right then and there. It was great. I got the full coverage and the price was a little high. I didn't expect to spend that much.

The lady that I talked to explained everything to me and sold me the product. Signing up with Endurance was very pleasant. There was no pressure, just informative and explained it in very good detail and helped me decide the product and what I needed for my application. I would highly recommend them and I've already actually recommended them to someone.

I like the fact that Endurance deals with and pays direct to the repairman and you don't use a middleman for the financing. The sign up process was fine. I made a phone call and then 10 minutes later, I had a warranty. There was a 30-day waiting period where nothing was covered after I signed up. It was good for three years. I pay for 30 months, and I get 36.

They offered an option at the car dealership. I was gonna go with Endurance and I thought before I'd go with them, I wanted to check and see if others were competitive, what the price was, or what the offers were. I found Endurance was better than others. The rep was very helpful and patient with all my questions. She was also cordial in how she helped me.

The Endurance rep I worked with was very pleasant. She went through everything and also emailed everything to us as well. She was efficient, too. Everything went well. Their rate is a little more comparable than the last one I had, with the additional time that they gave me. It's gonna be $100 a month in the long run.

Be careful, it's a scam company. Please do not trust them, you will lose your money. I am telling you this based on my experience with them. They called me to offer me a warranty plan, their representative was very nice, I asked them all kinds of questions before I accepted the plan, they answered everything, they really convinced me. When I call them to make a claim, Joseph ** tells me it's a pre-existing problem and they do not want to give me my money back. If you try to make a claim, you will see what I tell you. Be careful, do not trust them, they are a scam. I strongly recommend you that do not sign up with them. If you have already signed up, ask them to refund your money to avoid any problems with them and loss of money.

100% a waste of money. Do not trust this company or its employees. When I called about the warranty, Lawrence assured me it was bumper-to-bumper coverage after a 30-day, 1,000-mile waiting period. I asked about specific scenarios, and he repeatedly said, “You’ll be covered.” Fast forward 2.5 years, and my first repair claim was completely denied. The Ford Service Advocate said the warranty’s wording and exclusions made it worthless.
When I called Endurance, I was given the runaround by Hakim, who claimed to be the highest-ranking person in the company but refused to escalate my concerns. Canceling the warranty is no better; in Wisconsin, there’s a 10% cancellation fee ($422 in my case) plus a prorated refund. On a $4,222 warranty, I’d get about $1,000 back after 2.5 years—and I’ve never had a claim. Now I’m stuck with a $2,700 repair bill for a vehicle I thought was protected.
This company operates like a criminal organization, incentivizing agents with 100% commission, which leads to predatory practices. Frequent upper management turnover is another red flag. When I purchased the warranty, there were few major complaints, but now thousands of people report the same issues: no coverage, no refund, no help. Instead of protecting clients, this company exploits them. I intend to expose their fraudulent practices publicly and in court.

My truck is getting older and I need an extended warranty before something happens. I looked at Endurance before and thought they had a maximum of 40,000 miles. The rep explained that there were different tiers of coverage and they had one that was for 100,000 miles. He explained what was covered under it and took me through the process of what I needed and everything that was involved. He said I had to go one month or 1,000 miles before I could get my coverage started and that I had towing, roadside assistance and a rental car if it was going to take more than a couple of days to get my car fixed. The rep was very friendly and if I had a question, he knew the answer to it. He seemed like he was very experienced at what he was doing.

Endurance offers top notch benefits in their warranty for coverage of your older vehicle. Good company and even better customer service. You are given time to review your contract which gave me more confidence in their warranty. I did have questions and Robin answered all my questions with patience and understanding. I can highly recommend Endurance if you are in the market for a maintenance warranty on your auto.

My experience with Endurance car warranties was absolutely terrible. They charge me twice for New York State sales tax in February 2023 in November 2024 because they said they were tax exempt in New York State. I file a complaint with BBB in February 2023 and receive a call from Endurance offering to pay me $43.22 because they said they made a mistake and sent me a check for $43.22 to pay me back for the sales tax I had to pay. In November 2024 I had to file a complaint with BBB for $71.22 because Endurance said they were tax exempt from New York State. I received a call on December 4, 2024 from Endurance, who offered to pay me $71.22 for sales tax. I paid in New York State. I have a contract that states I have $100 deductible and nothing in the contract states that I have to pay sales tax on any claim. My claim was for $855.00. Endurance paid $555 of this bill. And left me with a bill of $329.00 to get my vehicle out of the garage.
I asked for proof of being exempt from New York State sales tax. I was told by employee they didn’t have to, they told the manager the garage but they didn’t have to send him proof either. endurance it’s not a company that you wanna buy a warranty from because they find all kinds of reasons not to pay the full amount on your claim. I was put on hold for 15 to 20 minutes. When I finally got to talk to somebody, they put me on hold for another 15 minutes then I got cut off and had to call endurance back only to be put on hold again. This is my experience with endurance. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
