    I talked to people at different dealerships, and they told me Endurance was one of the better options. I haven’t had Endurance very long, so I can’t really speak to the experience yet because I haven’t needed to use it. Signing up was easy, and I had a good experience with that. The only thing is I forgot to tell them I needed the military discount.

    I’ve been interested in Endurance because of a lot of repair bills. The cars are getting older and racking up a lot of miles. My wife’s Jeep is over 200,000 miles now.

    I purchased a really nice but higher mileage car and I wanted to have some extended coverage on it, so I decided to get Endurance. The price is a little higher since I’m paying monthly and I could probably get it cheaper if it’s pre-pay, but I don’t want to spend the extra cash all at once.

    The signup experience has been good, but I’ve only had a little over 30 days and I haven’t used it yet. I did quite a bit of shopping before choosing them. Later, when I looked for a friend, I found a better deal with another company. So it really depends on the vehicle, some have higher rates and some have lower rates for coverage.

    I purchased an auto warranty for my 2017 Ford Fusion and so far, so good. Signing up with Endurance was easy to do. The only issue I had was when they dinged my credit card, it didn’t recognize the charge, so they denied it. I had to go back and talk to my credit card company and then it went through. It wasn’t Endurance’ fault though. I give their customer service the kudos. It’s a bit pricey but if I have a problem, it’s worth the cost.

    I saw that commercial on TV, a race car driver, different people, saying how they saved their butts on repairs. And I bought a really nice truck that I love. It's huge. And getting Endurance seemed like a smart thing to do.

    The cost was a bit high. There weren't too many options because of how old the truck was. And because I bought it used. It isn’t too much but if something does happen, it'll pay for itself. They told me what I could get and how much it was gonna be.

    When I bought the policy, the guy told me that I was able to do my own oil changes and my own maintenance, which I didn't wanna make a claim for. But then I had called to switch my payment over to a different credit card. The lady told me that my claim would get denied later down the road if I was doing my own oil changes.

    That was a little worrisome. Because I'm mechanically inclined. I'm not a certified mechanic but I've changed my own oil and done all kinds of things, replaced radiators and starters, by myself all the time. But not being able to do that put a wrinkle in my plans. I definitely don't wanna be in breach of our contract. I've had nothing but great service so far.

    Please save your money. They do not honor their extended warranty plans. I had purchased the best plan they had for my vehicle and when I had problems they would not honor the plan. They denied my claim and wanted me to pay out of pocket before they would authorize any work on my vehicle. Please save your money. This is a terrible company.

    The cost of repairs were high, so I went through ConsumerAffairs and found Endurance. I’ve also seen them on TV, I googled them and they were ranked one.

    The signup process was super easy. Price-wise, it’s reasonable. If it were a gas vehicle, I probably wouldn’t have done it, but it’s a diesel, and repairs are much higher. The cost is comparable to others, and the reviews are a little better.

    I saw Endurance on television, and what interested me was that I was buying a pre-owned vehicle without any warranty and I wanted to make sure it was protected, so I called.

    Somebody told me that once I have 176,000 miles on this car, the transmission usually go out. I’ve got 160,000 on it now so I thought it’s time to get an auto warranty. Endurance’s salesperson was super and answered all my questions. I had checked with several other places and Endurance seems to have more coverage than some of the other competitors. They also gave me some sort of discount when I asked for military or a law enforcement discount.

    I don’t remember what mileage we gave Endurance. They never sent us a policy, cards or anything to carry with us in case something goes wrong. I need a copy of the contract. I’ve also been getting some emails from some place. I called them and was told they’re the ones that pay in case I need to put in a claim because Endurance doesn’t pay it.

    I had an engine replacement done under my Endurance Extended Warranty for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. While they reluctantly covered the repair, just 9 months and 5,000 miles later, the valve cover gasket started leaking. You would think this would be covered under the 12-month/12,000-mile warranty on the engine, but Endurance refused to help.

    Their excuse? "The gasket isn't covered." What’s worse, an adjuster refuses to call me or the dealership to even discuss the issue. Every time I call, I get the same lifeless, scripted response: "It’s not covered." No explanation, no attempt to help—just a robotic dismissal of my concern. A warranty is supposed to give peace of mind, not make you fight for every repair. If you’re considering Endurance, think twice—once they have your money, they don’t care.

    Had check engine lights on my Cadillac XT5. Turns out it was the computer chip controlling the shifter. The claim was denied. They would have covered the shifter mechanism (which was fine) but wouldn't cover the computer that controls it. I may be a moron but that's hard for me to understand. There is nothing wrong with the shifter but the mechanism that makes the shifter doesn't work? Go figure. Cost me about $1400 out of pocket. Offered a free month and a few hundred dollars. Nice but.... Just doesn't make much sense to me. If an entire system is down, it seems like the whole system should be covered. Just Me. I could be wrong! We'll see what happens.

    We’ve always had an auto warranty because our car is a 2018. When the manufacturer’s ran out, we enrolled in CarShield. We had to have a new engine put in our car, and what a disaster it was dealing with them. It was so bad that we decided to cancel it. We were told that Endurance was the number one car warranty, so I called them.

    The sign-up was great and the person that sold it to me was very helpful. He went over what the policy would be like, what deductible would be, and what our monthly payments would be. He explained everything. Then I received an email, the policy, but I didn’t want to print it all off. So I just sent them an email the other day asking them to send me a policy booklet.

    I got Endurance because of all of the bells and whistles with the vehicle. The quote for what I’m getting is fair enough and the sales rep I had was very helpful. The only thing is I get the 30-day grace period but then on top of that, a thousand miles, whichever comes first. That part threw me for a little bit. It seems like I’m getting a better coverage than when I was with the dealership that I bought the vehicle from. This one seems a little much better than what I had.

    I have two vehicles I registered with Endurance and they were supposed to have been on direct debit from my account. But one of them wasn’t set up so I got a call from Endurance about that, which I wasn’t aware of until they called me. But other than that, the service is fine. The rep was fairly good with setting up the warranty. He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He was a great person to work with.

    I had Endurance before on my other vehicle. And then I got it again on my new one, which when I got sick, I had to travel a lot back and forth out of town to the doctor’s appointment. I decided on getting an extended warranty with them so in case my factory warranty runs out quicker than what’s expected.

    The signup process was good. But the only thing that puzzled me was when I had a negative balance in my checking account, I kept getting these texts. I didn’t know who it was, so I didn’t respond. When I tried calling them back, some voicemail said somebody would contact me as soon as possible but nobody did. When I finally got ahold of somebody, this guy came on the phone talking about Endurance. So, he talked me into signing up and I did it.

    But now, Endurance came back when my checking account got fixed up. They got the $297 from my account for Endurance. So, I picked out 100 and something dollars with the other company, Omega. The rep said that I’ll be getting my refund back. But all that I know I had to have some coverage on my car, because I couldn’t get ahold of nobody with Endurance at all. So, I got two policies but I don’t need two.

    Car started smoking on March 10th. Was told that it would be 24-48 hours for inspector to come out and approve or deny claim. The 24-48 hours came and went. Was told that there was some kind of emergency and that they won't be there until March 17-18th. They did not show on the 17th. I contacted Endurance and spoke regarding my concern with the 24-48 hours window not being withheld. I spoke to 3 people the final one was Sonia who made some inappropriate comments about medical situations and that she could hang up the phone and she could have a heart attack. Again, Endurance is a big enough company that they should have had a contingency plan for these kinds of situations.

    I asked how Endurance was going to make it right with me, the consumer! I've never missed a payment, which I know if I would have missed a payment I would have been assessed fees. She asked again what she could do and I asked her to cover the 178.00 dollar inspection fee. She said if a claim goes through that Endurance would cover it. I thanked her and said that I would call dealership and let them know that Endurance would cover the 178.00.

    Now we are up to March 20th and still without a car... Claim has been put in and to my disappointment the 178.00 inspection fee is still there. I again called as I was sure it was just an oversight and it was going to be an easy conversation to get what Sonia said I was going to get. AGAIN I was transferred to 2 different people and kept on hold for over 20 minutes, to be told what she told you we can't do. I asked, "Okay what can you do for the consumer?" Again, "Sorry. Pretty much you are out of luck."

    If you perform your own vehicle maintenance, please read the part in the contract of what is required to keep for records. We buy bulk oil (55 gallon drum) because we use it for other vehicles/equipment. Required receipts of maintenance need to correlate to date of service, and since we couldn't do that (using bulk oil and filters that were purchased ahead of time) we couldn't provide 'verifiable documents' showing we performed our routine maintenance. Even our handwritten records of this was not sufficient, and they denied our claim. BEWARE is all I'm saying. In addition, if you cancel your plan, you have to send them a NOTARIZED copy of the cancellation.

    The required 1000 mile and 30 day wait period as per contract achieved, AC stopped working on way to work, had truck picked up by dealership and was informed that the AC compressor locked up. Endurance adjuster denied claim. According to the adjuster the possibility of the AC locking down in one day and leaking all of its refrigerant is impossible and must occurred before the 1000 mile condition. I requested a written reason for the denial and a specific reason as per contract for the denial. I was informed that Endurance does not provide a written reason for the denial.

    I bought this policy in good faith and felt that I was doing the right thing as far as auto protection is concerned. I am a middle school teacher on a very tight budget and cannot afford a major breakdown for the vehicle I use every day to commute to and from school. I am truly disappointed, and really just amazed that the Endurance sales people just straight up lied. They treated me like I was defrauding them. No apology no recommendations but a reminder to keep paying your policy. No guarantee that future claims would be paid until an adjuster gives the shop their blessing. This is not how a company should treat customers.

    I noticed a trend on all nationwide reviews and that is the company denies minorities claims at a higher rate than other similar companies. Does Danica Patrick condone this type of corporate discrimination? The Ford dealership explained to me that My Mechanic is a better warranty provider since in their experience Endurance does not pay and on top of that are difficult to work with. Good tip from a Service Manager. Buyer Beware, if you're undecided about Car warranties, stay away from Endurance. Save your money, keep your peace of mind and place your car's warranty with another company.

    Every night seeing Endurance advertisements on TV I am reminded of being cheated by this company (so frustrating!). I paid in advance (over $2,400) for an extended warranty on my new at that time VW Tiguan. Unfortunately, when several years later (still under their warranty) I needed the Endurance to step in and help with the repair cost they refused!!! I'm convinced that people featured in the ads are blatantly lying and are paid for that with the $$ naive customers (like myself) paid Endurance. Please beware - what sounds too good to be true it's ALWAYS not true!

    2nd warranty with Endurance. This time around, worst ever. The denial of claims is unbelievable on COVERED ITEMS, the bogus reasons for denial. ie. failed to cover a Rack and Pinion based on the fact it had a leak and the LEAK PART was not covered. Leaks are from wear and tear of normal use, yet I was denied. Recently denied power steering hose. It took over 5 calls, 3 from myself to narrow down, the needed part had completely been changed to a valve instead of the covered part. I was actually lied to about this part. Finally got it covered. My warranty is paid in full otherwise I would have cancelled 4 denials ago on (2 of which were and are covered items).

    I contacted customer service to cancel my $131 monthly policy after paying 18 months because none of my repairs over this period of time were covered. After being arm twisted to continue the policy for over 35 minutes, I got an email to verify my car's mileage & HAVE IT NOTARIZED to cancel! This is a crime to make us jump through hoops to cancel!

    Endurance did not want to pay for a part which cover by their own policy. Had to take them to the court and apparently the policy is written in such a way that inhibited the judge to make a decision because of the technicalities. Judge order to send the case to an Arbiter. So far it was a nightmare. Avoid Endurance at any cost.

    Not a great experience with Endurance but Joseph who helped with cancellation of my warranty was very help. Called and spoke to someone before him and emailed them and they didn't return my email or call, but called again and spoke with Joseph and he took care of everything and answered all my questions.

    I have the platinum policy which I was told covers “EVERYTHING“ on and in my car that makes it run!!! Well, I was totally lied to because I have now been waiting for over 3 weeks to get an approval from a so-called inspector that went out to look and inspect my repairs who is claiming they are “pre-existing repairs“ which if they are not and how could you know even if they were? So on that note here I sit waiting with no car to drive and they haven’t even offered me a rental car while having to wait for an answer on my repairs and once again I pay $170.00 a month for a platinum policy!!! So buyers beware, this company will lie to you to get your business and then forget all about you once they have reeled you in. The way I have been treated is unacceptable!!!!

    Purchased an Endurance Warranty on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Had an issue with the CVT Transmission in March 2025 and took into the shop. Just had 4 payments left on our warranty and had paid nearly $3000 on the warranty to this point. Had to wait nearly a week for Endurance to get a guy out to the dealership to look at the vehicle to make sure vehicle was in "good shape" and we hadn't towed with it. Which we never have. Endurance only wanted to pay a little over $1400 going on the resale value of the vehicle. Read your contract carefully; this company is dishonest and does everything they can to not pay for repairs. Stay far, far away from Endurance. They are nothing but a SCAM!

    The salesman who presented my plan was misleading when I asked direct questions about the total coverage cap for the life of the policy. Additionally, I sought confirmation on the cap provided for oil changes. Instead of clearly stating the facts, I was repeatedly told that the plan would cover the cost of an oil change. I even provided the salesman with my last oil change expense for my 2021 Palisade, which was $78.42, and was informed that the plan would pay for three oil changes a year. However, I later found out that the plan actually covers only $50 towards an oil change, which should have been communicated to me upfront.

    I had a contract with Endurance for over 3 months now. I have made 2 claims which have both been denied. My Drive Train and Transmission have problems. I took my vehicle into the BMW dealership to have fixed and both times my claims were denied by Endurance. BMW said these companies never allow claims. BMW told my that the parts weren't covered by my policy because of loop holes. When I read my policy I now realize that basically nothing will ever be covered by Endurance because this company is a fraud. Don't believe those TV commercials and save your money.

    Also when I tried cancelling my service contract I went through HELL! It was so unprofessional and nerve racking. They made me sign and have the notice of cancellation notarized. Then when I call Line5 to make sure they weren't going to charge my bank anymore they claimed they knew nothing about it and it would take up to 8 weeks to have this resolved. Also they were very rude and unprofessional. I hope that I save someone money. Think twice before you waste your money.

    Associate was rude. He talked over me and would not listen to my questions. I could not get a price even though I was ready to buy.     This is the worst company to deal with. Had me getting all my paperwork from previous owners and it stated I can take it to any shop. Well that’s not true. I took it to one they wanted it to somebody else do. I had it towed there and the claim was still denied. I will never in my life deal with this company again and I still has not got any of my money back. So if you reading my review please do use this company, you will be out of more money. It says 30 days and a 1000 miles, well that’s not true. I went over a 1000 miles as well as 30 days.

    Original Review: Endurance is a SCAM!. It will be a legal issue. The issue was confirmed to be transmission. The inspector came out and said the shop should put transmission back together. Shop did. Transmission it is!

    Don’t care about people only about making a sale! Will take your money for years! When you need them they come up with all these ways to not pay for your car to get fix especially if it’s a big job. Have you waiting over 5 days just to see if they will cover your car or not telling you to just go ahead and get the rental they will reimburse you not tell you if it’s not approved they will not! They look for the littlest things just to not approve it. Very poor communication. You have to keep calling them asking about your claim. One rep will tell you one thing and another will tell you something else!

    Everything went great on my claim! It was $1,400 and I only had to pay $100 deductible. It more than paid for me to have endurance with the monthly payments. I just wish I could get some kind of residuals for the commercial that I filmed two years ago. I have people from California to Chicago to South Carolina and Texas calling me and telling me they've seen me on my commercial. So why not a little residual for a retired teacher such as myself? And I did not receive any money for leaving this review.

    Rodney in billing was very helpful. I spoke with 2 woman previously today and I can't say that they had the same type of customer service. I just wanted to get some help because my auntie is dieing in the hospital as we speak so I needed help 😪 on getting a rent a car so that I can be with her. I pay on time and I really appreciate Rodney in payment. I didn't know if I was able to get refunded if I paid out of pocket for a rent a car. I know the shop Amco has tried to call but I was not informed of what other options I have with a rent a car when I spoke with that department.     Beware of this no good company!! Please stay away! Their talk is cheap! I was with them for 3months and when I finally met my mileage to get service on my car, I called them to make sure that I was in the clear to get my car serviced. And I was told I was good to go. I make an appointment at the repair shop get there, wait on the diagnostic and was told that all the repairs were declined. So with that comes a 300.00 diagnostic fee out of my pocket which should have been paid by endurance! How frustrating this was after leaving work to drive several miles to get disappointed!

    Endurance claimed that some of my issues were preexisting, which doesn’t make sense. They claimed that there was a Discrepancy with my mileage when I enrolled, which was an error on their part. So I’m out of 300.00 and no service whatsoever done to my car!! I was told that if I submitted a document showing my mileage at last inspection then I could at least get my reimbursement. I did that and was denied!! This is the biggest false advertisement!! I knew I should have chosen Car Shield!! Y’all really need to stop advertising these lies!!! And give me my money back, people are struggling and yal’ll are just making matters worse!! Trust me, please don’t use this service!! They have way too many stipulations that makes no sense!!

    Endurance warranty refused to pay the repair on my car after paying on the warranty for the last year and the card never had an issue. The minute the car had an issue they refused to pay it. Kind of funny when they talked me into getting the warranty because of my transfers case and that’s the exact part that went out on my car and now they won’t fix it. Something about a 3000 mile discrepancy on my mileage on my car.. I’m sorry I have a life and I travel out of state to see my family! Horrible service never use this company!

    I HAVE 2010 NISSAN ALTIMA. I was lied that my policy will cover suspension and struts on my vehicle. I was very specific when I told the lady before I bought the warranty with them. She told me it will be more charge but she can make it happen. I was paying extra money for it. Told her I am planning to go out of state. My car would be driven by my mom. I don't want any issue if anything happens to my car.

    I called them 2 weeks ago. Talk to someone and I was told I was not covered. I paid more for gasket. I called the warranty place past friday. Talk to a guy. He said he will email me my contract. Nothing from him. Whole process was scam. I paid more for more. Thought I will be covered when I most need them. I will be posting this on my you tube channel and make everyone aware of this warranty place. Very very very disappointed. I will be contacting or doing my review on BBB as well. My contract number is **.

    "Beware". Think twice before you choose Endurance. When we signed up we were advised among other items, the contract covered radios and the components. Once we agreed we were advised we would be emailed a copy of the contract. Which never came. We call numerous times. Still no contract. Had to take the car in for service as a woofer and speaker went out. Claim was denied... We called for an explanation, the customer service representative was less than helpful as she definitely sounded like she didn't want to be there. The denial reason stated.."Speaker and woofer have been denied, because it may be connected to something "Not", covered." Finally received a copy of the contract after the fact.

    We do have the "Platinum and luxury" package which, stated both are covered. Had we read the reviews online and with the BBB which state. "According to the Better Business Bureau, reviews for Endurance Warranty Services are largely negative, with numerous complaints regarding denial of claims, poor customer service, difficulty reaching resolution on repair issues, and accusations of deceptive practices; many users report issues with Endurance refusing to cover repairs even when documentation proves the vehicle was properly maintained, and the company is not accredited by the BBB." We are very disappointed in Endurance and would advise others to do your due diligence before you move forward.

They were able to get me a great deal on my truck and I was looking forward to being able to get past my 1000 miles and 30 days but sadly my truck was totaled the day before my 30 days were up.     I never believed that I could get mechanic insurance. I have gotten numerous letters and calls about an extended warranty and would hang up or trash the letters. Well I’m a true believer. I’ve had several people tell me about Endurance insurance. Until my mechanics said, "Why don’t you have insurance warranty on your vehicle. You have insurance on right down to your pets.     First off... I read the 5 Star reviews and they all seem to be about talking about and purchasing a policy, not filing a claim. ENDURANCE DOES NOT COVER WEAR AND TEAR, which is about 100% of failures. Read the contract, Will not cover wear and tear items. If a part wears out like a bearing in transmission, differential, engine, wheels, ANYWHERE, that will not be covered. DO NOT PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM ENDURANCE!!!!

    They will not pay for anything because they say "It's not covered due to normal wear and tear". Look at your policy and it will say Normal wear and tear is not covered. What causes Wear and Tear? DRIVING YOUR CAR IS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. Everything that breaks is due to normal wear and tear. If you don't use your car then it will never break, so as long as the car sits in the driveway not driven they will cover any repairs. DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL!

    My differential and driveshaft was making a grinding noise, found metal bits inside the differential. Endurance wanted the differential taken apart (antoher $1400 labor) or they would not cover the repair. So I had no choice but to authorize disassemble of the differential. Endurance examined inside and said "it's not covered due to normal wear and tear". So now I'm stuck not only paying to replace it but an extra $1400 on top of that for the labor to disassemble the bad one. Supercharger bearing also is going out and Endurance said "not covered, normal wear and tear". It's a sealed one-piece unit.

    Don't waste your money on Endurance, they tell you everything is covered when you're ready to buy a policy and afterwards.... It's not covered, normal wear and tear. Isn't driving everyday normal wear and tear, so they don't have to pay for anything according to their policy. I'm now stuck paying over $19,000 in repairs cost AND paying for Endurance Warranty policy. What a rip-off.

    This was not a good experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone join this company because they stand behind their words. Accountability! What Accountability! First I was folded that this car protection company was better than it's competition and it was recommended to me by a family member my sister in fact whom hadn't had to use their services yet but said I should join. However, boy was she wrong! Donny, the rep. Whom setup my policy was disingenuous in his responses to my questions in part for example; stating that I had to wait one month to qualify for services but never mentioned that I also had to drive my car 1000 miles.

    Well I got a big beef with Endurance. I had an alternator that went out on my car. Took it to the dealer with my damn Endurance warranty. The dealer want to put a alternator on that goes with my car a Hyundai Sonata for 1000 dollars. They called endurance. They didn't want to pay it so they denied the price and they themselves had an alternator sent to the dealer that's not even compatible with my car. It's a faulty alternator that till this day I'm still having issues with it. My headlights are blinking like Christmas lights. My check engine light is on. The now has to go back to the dealer for a 3rd time with the same issue. Endurance offered at first to pay only 200 dollars for the Hyundai alternator and wanted us to pay the remaining 800. Guess they wanted us to forget once we took the car to the shop our deductible was suppose to be only 100 dollars.

    This is some shady business practice in my book and they still want us to continue to pay for our warranty even with the alternator issues I'm seriously considering getting my warranty somewhere else especially if I have to come out of my pocket to replace my own alternator I won't need endurance any longer. I've even reported them to the Better Business folks. Looks like I'm going to do it again so think twice before signing on with endurance. Shop around because these folks do have shady business practice. 💯💯💯

    The professionalism of the agent and the price were the main things that stood out to me with Endurance. The plan was affordable. It wasn’t outrageous and it really fit right in my price range.     I’ve dealt with several other extended warranty companies, and I think Endurance is fine. We had them on a 2017 Dodge Ram, and we didn’t have a problem with it. I had a couple of claims with them where I took the car to AutoNation. Normally, I’ll have it back no more than seven business days. The shop will call me and tell me what's the problem, and they’ll submit the paperwork to Endurance to see if they're gonna approve it. They'll fix whatever is needed to be done. I’m satisfied with them.

    I bought a car a year and a half ago and had an outstanding recall, so I took it to a Jeep dealer near my house, not where I bought it. They printed out a summary of the VIN and manufacturing details. It wasn’t a Carfax, but it looked similar and included a lot of useful information about the car.

    What I noticed, the service advisor pointed out, was that my 18-month warranty hadn’t reached the mileage limit, but it had expired by the end of November. It’s a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 15 or 18 computers. I’m a good mechanic, but I can’t handle all that nonsense.

    The engine itself is complex, but the electrical system is even trickier. I can’t fix anything electrical without specialized tools and computer systems. I talked to my wife, and we decided we needed a solution. They offered a four-and-a-half-year warranty.

    The salesperson wasn’t pushy at all, though he didn’t really need to be. I knew what I was up against. I had to make a decision to get things moving, or nothing would happen. The only part that bothered me with Endurance was that I had to make a decision immediately or lose a discount. I couldn’t take a day or two to decide, and my intent was to get a few different quotes since I’d never dealt in that market before.

    When they made the offer, I honestly couldn’t say whether it was a good deal or if I could have found something better by shopping around. The discount was only valid while I stayed on the phone, and I wish they had given me a little time to compare options. I bought it because I liked the product and believed it stands on its own and they had no reason to try and force me into it.

    I likely would have gone back to them anyway. I’d done some research online and was familiar with the company, including its size and background, so I knew what I was looking at. As a former electrical engineer at Boeing, I’m comfortable evaluating technical details and costs. In the end, it looked like a good deal, so I decided to move forward and sign up. The only issue I had was the pressure to make an immediate decision. But I’m fully satisfied with the service, the program, and how the contract works.

    I do have one more comment. My coverage term is several months. I believe it works out to about four and a half years. However, I was told they can’t do anything during the first month, which effectively reduces the coverage by a month. I’m not quite sure how that works.

    I understand what they’re trying to do. They don't want someone to sign up and immediately claim a major pre-existing issue. But if they give me 12 months of coverage and tell me I can't use the first month, then it's 11 months of coverage and then they phrase it that way so it doesn't sound shady. I don't have a problem. My car is running perfectly and the only reason I really needed to sign up was I had run out of the factory warranty and I was uncomfortable about being fully exposed. So, it's not a problem. But it seems a little dupey.

    I have a 2006 BMW 325i. I change the oil and keep maintenance on it, but if something happened to it, it didn’t have warranty. I decided to get Endurance since I heard from my buddies that they're better than CarShield. I heard that company's got a lot of insurance cases going on. From my research, I didn't find that with Endurance. I just wanted something that I could take a chance on if something does happen. I don’t really need the vehicle, but I love the vehicle.

    The agent I talked to made me feel comfortable by giving me all of Endurance’s data and history and some pros and cons with the programs. He did not start with what they could cover but started with what they couldn’t cover.     I just re-signed up with Endurance because I’ve been having them for three years and I’ve been very happy. Usually, I just bring my truck to Nissan, they call Endurance up, and they pretty much authorize whatever needs to be done without any trouble. Signing up the second time was zero problems because I’ve been happy with the service and the whole experience.

    The only thing about the coverage was that I was buying $65,000 worth of coverage, and I got another 25,000 miles for 25 cents more per month. It would have been nice if the agent would have offered another 25,000 miles of coverage from the start and let me know it was only a quarter. For 25 cents more per month, I get 25,000 more miles on my policy. But everything worked out good.

    We got the Endurance warrant on my Cadillac 2019 XT4 with 27600 miles because the Cadillac wouldn’t give warranty even though it’s suppose to be 100000 miles but oh well we have Endurance and they even pay for my oil changes 2 times a year. I have had 2 problems, one was a tire sensor which they did not cover but anything other than that sensor was ALL covered! Endurance thank you for picking up where Cadillac let us down as far as sticking to their words.

The warranty is expensive. It’s going to be $6,000 for four years, whereas the full coverage if you buy a vehicle is usually around $2,000 for seven years and 120,000 miles. But it’s still good.

    I wanted an extended warranty to extend the life of my vehicle, and just for the protection of my vehicle, because I know it’s creeping into an older vehicle now. And Endurance is a pretty good service, especially compared to the other extended warranty company that I had previously, which wasn't good at all. And Endurance's customer service was pretty good.

    So, at first, I did a little research on a few companies, and Enduranc just had the best reviews, which led me to speak with them. And the warranty on my car expired a few months before I decided to get a policy with them.

    And the representative I talked to when I signed up was pretty nice. He went over everything about the policy. He told me what I’ll be covered for and things that I would not be covered for. And he told me that in order to get it started with whatever shop I chose, I had to basically do a $100 deposit in order to get whatever I was trying to get repaired. And then they told me that once I paid, it would take 30 days for it to take effect. So, if I have anything that occurred to my vehicle, it wouldn’t be covered until after the 30 days.

    And so, I have what they call their best policy, their gold standard policy. It’s 60,000 miles, and then it’s a 5-year extended warranty. So, whichever mark I hit first is when the coverage expires. And I got discounts for oil changes, but it’s not necessarily full coverage.

    My car is out of warranty now. I've had it five years, but it’s a garage-kept car with only 32,000 miles on it. The Ray Catena dealerships gave me a few different companies to look at, so I looked Endurance up and verified different things.

    I’ve always kept an extended warranty policy on all my vehicles. I just feel safer when I’m going up and down the road and I want to make sure I’m protected.     My first experience with Endurance was very negative. I received an email saying there was a discount, something like $300 off if you paid for a plan in full. I don’t remember the exact amount. My previous warranty had expired about four weeks before I got that email, so I called to get more information.

    I got the runaround for a while, and eventually I spoke with a woman who mispronounced my name. I corrected her, and she didn’t apologize. She just kept going. She was very rude and hateful. She said she would transfer me to someone else. I won’t call him a gentleman, because in my opinion, he was not one based on how he spoke to me and treated me.

    I told him what I wanted to do. When I asked questions and said I wanted to talk it over with my son, he became very condescending. He said, “Why do you want to talk it over with your son? Aren’t you mature enough to make your own decisions?” It was interactions like that. I don’t recall exactly, but I may have asked to speak to a supervisor. He made a smart remark, I called him out on it, and he said, “Well, then we can just end this call, can’t we?” and hung up.

    I eventually signed up because of a follow‑up message. It was either a text or an email around President’s Day with some kind of promotion. The message said that if I joined that day, there were special incentives. I called back and spoke with a woman who was the complete opposite. She was very professional and explained the different plans and the benefits of each one.

    We discussed about paying in full versus making payments. Because I was getting a special deal that was only good that day, it didn’t make sense to pay everything upfront since there wasn’t any additional discount. So, I went ahead and signed up.

    She handled everything very well. At the end, she asked if there was anything else she could do for me, and I told her about a previous interaction with Endurance that I was very dissatisfied with and that it almost kept me from responding to the email at all. I tend to judge based on experiences, and when I’m treated poorly, I usually don’t give a second chance.

    She apologized and asked what had happened. She said she could look it up using my phone number and identify who it was, and that she would talk to her supervisor because that situation should not have happened. She was a very good agent, professional, personable, and very good at her job.

    I looked online to see which extended warranty was rated the best, and Endurance was. They had been sending me ads since 2003, and I finally responded recently. The representative was wonderful, very positive, informative, and answered all my questions. I felt he was very knowledgeable about what he was offering.

    The warranty doesn’t go into effect for the first 30 days or the first 1,000 miles. It’s good for 48 months, which would take the vehicle to about 167,000 miles. At that point, the vehicle would be around 20 years old, and Endurance wouldn’t be able to warranty it anymore.

    Once your original warranty runs out, and considering the cost of future repairs depending on the make and model, I think it’s well worth the expense to sign up with Endurance for that added peace of mind.

    My cars are out of the service warranty through the dealerships, and I wanted to still have coverage. The dealerships advise on getting an extended warranty plan through Endurance because they work with Endurance and have the best car warranty coverage programs. I decided to give them a try because most of the mechanics in my area use them.

    I used the website to get an idea as to what plans they had. The website is great, however, everything comes together, and it was much more crystallized when I spoke with the salesperson.

    Their sales agent was great and patient. She talked about all the coverage benefits, the terms, and really let me decide whether I want to go forward or not. She explained the payment process, which was really important to me in terms of when the payments will be made and when everything will be done. The part of the term where there's no payment but the services are in place, that was touched on. We talked about the claim process too. Everything was really easy, calm, and we had a really nice and friendly conversation.

    Everything moved quickly. The account manager was assigned within two business days and reached out to me, and introduced herself to me. We touched on the coverage again to make sure I understood everything. And also let me know that if I had any questions later on, I can call them or email her and she would get back to me. Everything's been really good with them.

    They were really, really personable and easy to access. They let me know what I needed to know upfront before we proceeded. I signed up for two cars and I'm going to sign up for a third car shortly.

    When you're dealing with these type of things, it's never an easy thing to take on another monthly charge for however long. But it's even worse if you take on a big bill from a mechanic, where you could have probably avoided some of that with a warranty program in place.

    Extremely Disappointed!!! I received a letter about a price increase. There was nothing in the letter about which vehicle. Only a file #. I called in to ask about the increase and the BOZO on the phone could not tell me which vehicle. He stated a (2) step verification was needed. I verified my name and the File #. He then still would not tell me which vehicle. I have purchased (3) vehicles within the last (2) years. I was not sure which vehicle that is why I called. I asked several time to please tell me for which vehicle did you send the letter? He continued to refuse. After much discussion, I listed all (3) vehicles. WO,W so much hassle over a vehicle that I no longer own. Surely you guys must have a better way to communicate with your customer. Easy just state on the letter to which vehicle you are sending the letter for. This man was extremely rude. I will not recommend Endurance EVER.

    Avoid Endurance Auto Insurance at All Costs. I strongly advise against purchasing Endurance Auto Insurance. Their advertising is highly misleading. While they claim you can choose your own mechanic, what they conveniently fail to mention is they impose a strict cap on labor rates — leaving you to cover the difference.

    In my case, I had my car’s tie rod ends replaced at a certified Ford dealership. When the dealer contacted Endurance for payment, they were informed Endurance's maximum labor reimbursement was $23/hour less than the dealership's rate — forcing me to pay the difference out of pocket.

    Additionally, I had other repairs performed that were clearly covered under my contract. However, because the dealer didn’t include those repairs in the initial inquiry, Endurance flat-out refused to pay — even though the contract showed the work was eligible. Another critical issue is that Endurance can take months to pay mechanics — leaving many repair shops unwilling to work with them at all. If your mechanic refuses to deal with Endurance, you're out of luck. In contrast, I've had zero issues with my dealer's extended warranty on my other vehicle — prompt payment, no hidden clauses, and no headaches.     My 2018 Jeep Wrangler that I purchased less than a year from CarMax has been great! Until I backed out of my driveway over a month ago. I started to drive and click click click...the bushings on my sway bar is making a terrible noise and my steering is sketchy. Call a tow truck the next morning and it's taken to a Jeep dealership that we used the warranty on 2 months prior for a windshield wiper motor. Great service, done quickly...Well apparently if it's under a certain $ amount it's easy breezy fresh and squeezing. Well the sway bar is in the crapper as well as the drive shaft! Endurance sends someone out a week after it's been there...We had a snow storm and they waited until Friday to come out. The person didn't take pictures that the "adjuster" needed. So the dealership did.

    A week goes by with missed phone calls and unanswered messages by the dealership and the adjuster. The adjuster now wants a video of the Jeep as it drives...the dealership refuses as it's not their job it's the job of the warranty company to send out an appraiser...it's now week 3 going into the weekend and Monday will be week 4. My Husband files a complaint with the BBB on that Friday. We get a call from someone at Endurance wanting "solve" our issue by the name of Cindy or Cynthia. Tells my husband that she will look into it on Monday. She calls and says the adjuster is trying to get a hold of the dealership and our claim should be cleared up.

    Now this Cindi got all this information from us and it turns out she is the adjuster. The person who we feel and believe was causing all of this. Endurance told us from the beginning adjusters don't talk to customers they only talk to dealerships. Really? Ethically how was the conversation we had with the person who called us to solve our complaint relevant to the adjuster who it turns out called us. Who by the way denied the claim on the drive shaft as it was only seeping. So they don't cover it. 4 mechanics we called said that's a safety issue and we could be seriously hurt and or killed if we drive our jeep without a repair.

    Oh and the adjuster is sending a $29.99 part for the sway bar that SHE found on the Internet. God only knows where this part came from....China, Taiwan, Indonesia....is it guaranteed? What quality is it. She gets a part of the Internet from some fly by night Co...Is she gonna guarantee our safety and our lives? Food for thought.....my opinion is use a different Co. Maybe one that cares about your safety and your families' safety. Your life may depend upon it as ours does!

    I signed up for an extended car warranty with high hopes, thinking I’d be covered in case of an issue. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating. After paying for months, when a major issue arose with my car, they did absolutely nothing to help. I followed all the steps, provided all the documentation they requested, and even paid the required deductible. Yet, they refused to cover the repair, leaving me to foot the entire bill.

    The customer service is terrible — they’re unresponsive and unhelpful, and it feels like they just want to take your money without actually providing any value. This has been a complete waste of time and money, and I would strongly advise against purchasing an extended warranty from this company. Do yourself a favor and save your money for the repairs, or find a more reliable provider.

    I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado with approximately 198K miles. Purchased Endurance Gold Package. First mechanical issue, Power Steering Pump totally went out. Confidently, took vehicle to Chevy Dealership for Diagnostic test. Problem identified on the first day. Dealership contacted Endurance to initiate claim. At this point, the vehicle must stay with the dealership until repair are complete or claim is denied.

    Three days later, I get a call that the claim was denied. Called Endurance to get clarification on the denied claim. After I spoke to customer service, I made the decision to cancel the policy. Got transferred over to another department to initiate cancelation. The agent spent almost an hour trying to justify keeping the policy and attempting to explain why the repair wasn't covered. In the end, the agent suspended my payments for about 4 months and lowered my monthly payment to convince me to keep the policy and compensate me for the issue. I took my vehicle to a local mechanic to have the work done for a reasonable price and excellent service. The owner of the shop, said that the extended warranties are not worth the hassle and to simply put money aside for unexpected repairs. Advice that made sense and advice that I actually took.

    At this point, I still have the extended warranty, due to the compensation package the agent gave me, so I'm still covered just in case something major happens that's actually covered by my policy. Fast forward four or five months, I started having issues with my transmission, which is definitely covered according to the policy. Once again, confidently took it to the dealership. Once again but this time, after a week and half, without a vehicle, I received a call that the claim was denied. At this point, I'm done!

    Called to cancel again. Different agent asks me to reconsider. Recommends another payment deferment and possible lower monthly premium. Didn't finalize the cancelation, was asked to think about it and the agent would call me back the next day. Next day no call. I contacted Endurance again, a different agent started talking about a cancelation letter and trying to convince me to keep the policy. Couldn't finish the call due to an appointment. At this point, I'm done with Endurance. Will call back later today and finalize cancelation.

    I purchased a $3000 service agreement with Endurance. This ended up being a very bad decision. It took them 6 weeks to approve my claim. They tried everything in their arsenal to try and deny the claim and I was offered no help whatsoever by their customer service and claims teams. They also only cover up to 5 days of a car rental so this whole 2+ months without a vehicle I've had to pay out of pocket. Don't waste your money with them!

    We have had an extended warrant in the past. Not from Endurance. We've had it from another company. And the car that they insured is in 2011. And they said they would insure it. And so, I said “Okay. Fine. We'll go with you.” But that's the reason why we went with Endurance. That and Danica Patrick.

    Purchasing the warranty was easy and quick. I did it over the phone. I've read two-thirds of the policy so far. We haven't had an opportunity to use it, but it sounds like it's pretty good. I've got a mechanic that I've been to for more than 20-years, and he recommended them. That and the fact that. And once I started checking it out, the recommendations were there from people that I know that are in the auto business. And so, we went ahead and did it.

    I was surprised that the price was as reasonable as it was, particularly given the mileage and the year on the car. We're very pleased with that portion of it. My mechanic said, “Oh, yeah. We got no problem with them. They have their own people and they make their own decisions. And they don't have to rely on somebody else somewhere else.” And I said, “Well, okay then. We'll bite the bullet and go try it.” I had no reason to use it, but the process was simple. The people seemed to be straightforward. The contract, when it came to me, came to me when they said it was gonna be there. And everything was as she told me over the phone.

    I had another carrier I was dealing with, and I canceled it because I came out of pocket too much, and I went with Endurance. I got an older vehicle, and I wanted to make sure my vehicle is covered and not have to come out of pocket for any expensive repairs. The sign-up process was easy. They went over the plan, explained everything's 100% covered, went over the details and the specifics and got everything included at a reasonable price. I liked the customer service that I got because one of the plans was a little bit higher price, and they broke it down to what I could afford, what I felt comfortable paying, and I got the same stuff that the other one had. They extended the term to 60 months, I pay for three years, and then the other two years are free, so I took that ‘cause it has longer coverage and a better payment plan.

    After reading a recommendation just like this I purchased a "warranty" from Endurance. Worst possible choice I could have made. I ended up needing to use what I had purchased from Endurance only to lose my vehicle and end up battling the finance company in court. I contacted Endurance about needing to use the "warranty" I had purchased, went to the dealership that I was instructed to take my vehicle to and had the dealership contact Endurance once they submitted the paperwork to get the things done my vehicle needed. Endurance told me that I was 100% covered for what the dealership submitted to them. Halfway through the work Endurance backed out of their commitment and left e with a bill I could not afford. I lost my vehicle and now I'm in court battling the finance company.

    I would not recommend Endurance to my worst enemy! Not only did I lose my vehicle and am fighting money issues in court, my credit rating took a nose dive and I am still unable to get financing to get another vehicle. Never again will I purchase something by Consumer Reports recommendation and never again will I do business with Endurance.

    Our warranty has been out for about a year on our Jeep. And I knew that everything costs a lot of money now to have anything fixed anymore. Just the massive amount of money it can cost to do a transmission, brake lines, the motor itself, air conditioner. Any of that stuff is thousands now. And it's just a matter too of getting as little as anyone knows about a car anymore with all the technology that's involved with it. That's part of it, too. If this was a 1960 car, I could work on it. But I can't do anything on these vehicles

    I went on to two different places and did om research, and I said, "Okay. That sounds like what we need and what we want." Th agent was very pleasant. She was knowledgeable and she was generous enough to be very laid back as far as me relaying things back and forth between the wife and myself so that we could talk about it at the same time as we were talking to her. She was very clear, focused, easy to understand. That was a big deal. We’re now covered bumper-to-bumper.

    In the long run, it may be profitable. It's going to allow us to keep our car longer than we had originally anticipated.

    So far, so good. I haven't had to use the warranty. My truck didn't break down, so I guess that's a good thing, but it was old and had a lot of miles. But the warranty is a lot better than what the dealers offer because I bought another truck. I carried my plan over to the truck I bought.

    I was having problems with the website and the app trying to change my truck over, because it's not comprehensive enough to cancel a policy and move it over to something else. You can't do it. I had to do it verbally, and then I kept getting emails to renew my older truck. I had to call again to make sure that that wasn't the case. Then I had to get a certified letter notarized to verify my truck, which is fine. I understand you have to cover your bases. So it's fine. Everything’s fine. Very helpful. Endurance is very nice and great. I referred them to three friends of mine, and everybody that I've spoken to who looked into it is very happy.

    You never know when your car will stop working. It sill stop any time something goes wrong. The representative that signed me up with Endurance was very professional. She did a very outstanding job. when I gave all my information, my monthly payment was 189 a month.

    Endurance has good customer service. When you have a problem, you take your vehicle to an authorized shop and show them your problem it. They should be able to cover under your warranty. You pay your deductible and keep going.

    I first heard about Endurance via my local BMW dealership about a year ago. I had purchased a used BMW X5 and I'm in a few forums online. Everyone talked about how risky it is owning a luxury vehicle without warranty protection. I was right at the end of my warranty, so I went ahead and made the purchase at the recommendation of my dealership after the inspection. And I've since had a couple of issues with BMW, which Endurance took care of the warranty.

    My transfer case went out and my rear differential, all within six weeks of me purchasing the warranty. They handled it great. But on the second one, they were a little slower. They wanted someone to come out and inspect the vehicle. I bought the vehicle February 1st, and it was still under factory warranty. And I just went ahead and bought the warranty from the Endurance Warranty in March. And it just made sense. So, that's how it worked out.

    I recently added my other vehicle. Speaking with their warranty specialist was great. It was like talking to a friend. We had a very long conversation about the vehicle I was adding, why I thought it was important to add it, especially after what happened with the first vehicle. We talked about a little bit of everything, from cars to the warranty to even just personal life experiences.

    My coverage activates after 30 days and 1,000 miles. It was covered for four years and 100,000 miles. It’s important to have a warranty on the vehicle, because today's average repairs cost 500 to 600 bucks. If you have two of those a year, the warranty is really gonna pay itself off in two years or three years.

    Everything went well. I bought a used car and wanted it covered because you never know what's gonna happen, and I felt better when I got Endurance because it’s not third party. The salesguy was great. When I signed up, I also needed to do autopay, and I wasn’t comfortable with that. I was concerned because I get Social Security every second Wednesday of the month, so it's hard to determine what day they should take the money out. But he was able to put it where they don't take it out till the 19th, which is way past the due date or when I get my Social Security, so he was very helpful. I have somewhat looked at the contract, and it covers the main components and the transmission, so that's good.

    Definitely a scam. Make sure to read the fine print. I purchased a used vehicle 10 years ago that had custom wheels on it. Filed a claim for engine repair and the claim was denied due to tire size on the vehicle being different than what was on the inner door. Remember that’s how I purchased the vehicle and made no modifications to the car. Paid for several months with no benefits. Buyer Beware. The goal of endurance is to not pay a claim. I guess that’s how they pay for the expensive commercials.

    I first called Endurance to get some pricing on extended warranty, and it seemed like they wanted to make the deal right then and there, and I told them that I would call back as I do not make decisions without my wife. They kept lowering the price, and they tried to keep sealing the deal too. Finally, CarShield never called back, and Endurance did, so I went with them.

    I wanted the top-of-the-line, and their coverage is very good. I wanted bumper-to-bumper, and they said they had this plan. And then when I gave them the serial number of the truck, they said, “Oh, you have four-wheel drive so we have to add $3 and some odd cents more a month because you have a transfer case.” And I said, “Okay. That’s all right.”

    I feel more comfortable with a used vehicle with warranty. For $144 a month, it’s a cheap insurance for the next three years. The guy at signup was fairly decent. There were a couple of questions I needed answers to, and I would’ve liked to have gotten more answers. Still, customer service was good, and the process was not difficult. They asked a lot of questions, and once you had your mileage with you, that was about it. They told me the policy covers my motor, tranny, air conditioning, among others. But, I haven’t ever gotten anything what it really does cover from them yet. Overall, I am very satisfied.

    I got the warranty for mechanical breakdowns on the vehicle. I looked at all the ratings in the Better Business Bureau that I could find, and Endurance seemed to be the highest rated from what I had seen. They were too pushy, but they seemed to explain everything very well. They went over everything. The waiting period is 30 days or 1,000 miles. It's a little expensive, but signing up was okay. That's where I found other companies would cover on higher mileage. They were close or the same. I could only cover one vehicle through Endurance because of the mileage. For the lower mileage, the coverage is okay.

    I recently renewed my Endurance warranty. We've used the coverage two to three times and we had no trouble with it. I don't have to worry about paying for most of these repairs since they're covered. We had a wheel bearing issue and an oil filter case got cracked and we had those put in.
