My daughter's recommendation influenced my decision too. We considered other options like CarShield, but ultimately, we chose Endurance. I wished the price was a bit lower due to my fixed income, but I'm not complaining. I am hopeful that if they cover everything promised, the coverage would deserve a 5 as well.

    I am extremely disappointed with the services I've received.

    1) The name of the options are different in the booklet from the ones mentioned online.
    2) Lack of a simple explanation of coverages.
    3) Customer service and whomever ok's work are on different pages.
    4) Don't do preventive maintenance. It's got to be broken for them to repair. (Leaking transmission fluid).

    5) The only ASE certified mechanics you can use are the ones they recommend.

    The warranty on my Jeep was running out. I’ve always ensured my vehicle was in top condition, regularly servicing it at my dealer.     Our current auto warranty was gonna expire at the end of the year, and when I got a flyer in the mail from Endurance and called the number, it worked out well. The sign-up process was straightforward; it was all arranged in one call, and I didn't have to contact anyone else or shop around.

    My experience so far has been positive, although I am still waiting for the hard copy of my card to arrive by mail. Aside from that, I've received emails from them, and overall, I'm happy with the deal. It was pleasant and helpful dealing with the salesperson. He went above and beyond to find every possible discount and loophole for me, which I appreciated.

    My car has been in the shop since July 2024. Endurance sold me the auto warranty but then put it off on Ownershield. My car needed a teardown and an Endurance rep said it would only be covered if the actual problem was found and covered on the policy after the teardown. Well it was an oil pump failure which was covered. However, Endurance reneged on the tear-down coverage and said they were only going to pay for the engine. I said, "That’s not what you told me and the repair shop." They then ignored what their rep said and informed me that the car was worth $4375 and that’s all they could pay. The repair shop said the total costs would be around $10,000 and recommended that I take them to court because that’s not what they told the repair shop and me. Do not use Endurance because there are companies out there who will pay for the costs and not reneged on what they tell you.

    This company is nothing but a legal scam—stay away! No matter how convincing their sales department makes their service sound, the reality is far from it. They do not honor the terms of their contracts, and you’re better off seeking legal action to hold them accountable for their blatant breaches. I took my truck to a Ford dealership on March 7, 2025. The following week, an adjuster inspected it and confirmed that the high-side pressure hose and the 4x4 transfer case were covered under my contract. Yet, two weeks passed with no updates. Despite multiple calls from both the Ford service rep and me, we kept hearing the same excuse: the "master adjuster" was still reviewing the claim.

    By the third week, there was still no update. When the Ford service rep called again, the company suddenly changed its stance, offering only $500 toward the pressure hose repair and completely denying coverage for the transfer case. Their reasoning? A motor inside the transfer case had failed—which supposedly voided coverage. But here’s the catch: you can’t just replace the motor; the entire transfer case must be replaced. This was clearly their way of dodging responsibility. This company operates in bad faith and consistently breaches its contracts. I wouldn’t be surprised if the positive reviews are just fabricated to make them seem legitimate. In reality, they are nothing but a scam. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money—stay far away!

    If I could give Endurance zero stars, I would. This company operates like a Ponzi scheme, luring customers in with affordable policies only to deny legitimate claims when they’re actually needed. If you read through the reviews, you’ll see a pattern customers pay for coverage, but when it’s time for Endurance to honor their contract, they search for loopholes to avoid paying. Even when you provide proof of proactive vehicle maintenance, they go out of their way to fight you. It’s clear that their priority is profit over integrity. Just look at their 1-star rating on Yelp a true reflection of their dishonest practices. They manipulate their reputation by encouraging new customers to leave positive reviews immediately after purchasing a policy before experiencing how they actually handle claims.

    When I asked for transparency about the number of claims filed versus those approved, the answer was shocking. Do yourself a favor avoid this company at all costs. Instead of giving your money to Endurance, put $200 a month into a savings account. That way, when an emergency repair arises, you’ll actually have the funds to cover it, rather than throwing your money away on a policy that’s worthless when you need it most.

    I just requested a quote on a car I purchased recently. I was called immediately after making the request. I was forwarded onto a customer rep named Darren. We went through the coverage options and I explained I was only interested in drivetrain. He came back with a quote of 182.00 per month for 30 months which totaled $5,460.00. I told him I was not interested in that price as it totaled more than I paid for the car. He got absolutely butt hurt that I preferred not to pay that much. He tried to convince me that I was just throwing money away on the car and I am basically an idiot for thinking the warranty is not worth it. Then he hung up on me. If this is how they treat potential customers I can not imagine how they would treat a customer during a claim.

    I have a 2020 vehicle with nearly 50,000 miles and after a costly repair of $2,100, I figured it was time to consider additional protection. I gravitated towards Endurance after researching on Better Business Bureau and a few other companies. Their offer seemed to be the best fit for my needs. The representative I dealt with was excellent. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to hard-sell me. Instead, he explained the benefits clearly, although he didn’t really mention any negatives. His presentation gave me a positive feeling about choosing Endurance.

    I learned that the activation period is 30 days after the first payment, which was a bit confusing because I initially thought I'd receive automatic coverage. Also, payments are made to a different company, not directly to Endurance, which was another surprise for me. So far, my sign-up experience has been positive, and I would rate it a five out of five. However, I remain cautiously optimistic, as I haven't yet needed to use the service. If the coverage works as promised at my dealership, I'll be satisfied. I would tell friends and family to sign up and try it. It sounds promising, and you even get a little discount during sign-up.

    I reviewed the contract as I had an uneasy feeling about investing this much money in my vehicle. I love my Jeep and the warranty is about out. Either I am going to keep it another five years or someone in the family will use it (and they cannot afford repairs). The contract is very detailed.     I don't recommend using this company. The salesman/woman promised me that my truck would be covered with a 6in lift kit and bigger 37in tires. I had a claim today for my transmission going out and was told that my tires were .12 of an inch too big and they denied my claim even after paying a surcharge for having bigger tires and a lift kit, my total policy costs was $7100, at 1st they were prorating a refund, but I’ve never used the policy so now they say they will pay 100% refund, we shall see. 2021 Silverado LTZ 3.0 Duramax.

    Please save your money. They do not honor their extended warranty plans. I had purchased the best plan they had for my vehicle and when I had problems they would not honor the plan.     I had an engine replacement done under my Endurance Extended Warranty for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. While they reluctantly covered the repair, just 9 months and 5,000 miles later, the valve cover gasket started leaking. You would think this would be covered under the 12-month/12,000-mile warranty on the engine, but Endurance refused to help.

    Their excuse? "The gasket isn't covered." What’s worse, an adjuster refuses to call me or the dealership to even discuss the issue. Every time I call, I get the same lifeless, scripted response: "It’s not covered." No explanation, no attempt to help—just a robotic dismissal of my concern. A warranty is supposed to give peace of mind, not make you fight for every repair. If you’re considering Endurance, think twice—once they have your money, they don’t care.

    Had check engine lights on my Cadillac XT5. Turns out it was the computer chip controlling the shifter. The claim was denied. They would have covered the shifter mechanism (which was fine) but wouldn't cover the computer that controls it. I may be a moron but that's hard for me to understand. There is nothing wrong with the shifter but the mechanism that makes the shifter doesn't work? Go figure. Cost me about $1400 out of pocket. Offered a free month and a few hundred dollars. Nice but.... Just doesn't make much sense to me. If an entire system is down, it seems like the whole system should be covered. Just Me. I could be wrong! We'll see what happens.

    Car started smoking on March 10th. Was told that it would be 24-48 hours for inspector to come out and approve or deny claim. The 24-48 hours came and went. Was told that there was some kind of emergency and that they won't be there until March 17-18th. They did not show on the 17th. I contacted Endurance and spoke regarding my concern with the 24-48 hours window not being withheld. I spoke to 3 people the final one was Sonia who made some inappropriate comments about medical situations and that she could hang up the phone and she could have a heart attack. Again, Endurance is a big enough company that they should have had a contingency plan for these kinds of situations.

    I asked how Endurance was going to make it right with me, the consumer! I've never missed a payment, which I know if I would have missed a payment I would have been assessed fees. She asked again what she could do and I asked her to cover the 178.00 dollar inspection fee. She said if a claim goes through that Endurance would cover it. I thanked her and said that I would call dealership and let them know that Endurance would cover the 178.00.

    Now we are up to March 20th and still without a car... Claim has been put in and to my disappointment the 178.00 inspection fee is still there. I again called as I was sure it was just an oversight and it was going to be an easy conversation to get what Sonia said I was going to get. AGAIN I was transferred to 2 different people and kept on hold for over 20 minutes, to be told what she told you we can't do. I asked, "Okay what can you do for the consumer?" Again, "Sorry. Pretty much you are out of luck."

    If you perform your own vehicle maintenance, please read the part in the contract of what is required to keep for records. We buy bulk oil (55 gallon drum) because we use it for other vehicles/equipment. Required receipts of maintenance need to correlate to date of service, and since we couldn't do that (using bulk oil and filters that were purchased ahead of time) we couldn't provide 'verifiable documents' showing we performed our routine maintenance. Even our handwritten records of this was not sufficient, and they denied our claim. BEWARE is all I'm saying. In addition, if you cancel your plan, you have to send them a NOTARIZED copy of the cancellation.

    The required 1000 mile and 30 day wait period as per contract achieved, AC stopped working on way to work, had truck picked up by dealership and was informed that the AC compressor locked up. Endurance adjuster denied claim. According to the adjuster the possibility of the AC locking down in one day and leaking all of its refrigerant is impossible and must occurred before the 1000 mile condition. I requested a written reason for the denial and a specific reason as per contract for the denial. I was informed that Endurance does not provide a written reason for the denial.

    I bought this policy in good faith and felt that I was doing the right thing as far as auto protection is concerned. I am a middle school teacher on a very tight budget and cannot afford a major breakdown for the vehicle I use every day to commute to and from school. I am truly disappointed, and really just amazed that the Endurance sales people just straight up lied. They treated me like I was defrauding them. No apology no recommendations but a reminder to keep paying your policy. No guarantee that future claims would be paid until an adjuster gives the shop their blessing. This is not how a company should treat customers.

    I noticed a trend on all nationwide reviews and that is the company denies minorities claims at a higher rate than other similar companies. Does Danica Patrick condone this type of corporate discrimination? The Ford dealership explained to me that My Mechanic is a better warranty provider since in their experience Endurance does not pay and on top of that are difficult to work with. Good tip from a Service Manager. Buyer Beware, if you're undecided about Car warranties, stay away from Endurance. Save your money, keep your peace of mind and place your car's warranty with another company.

    I already had Endurance on my vehicle. I got a new car, and I changed it over to the other vehicle. The service was excellent. I used it for the car that I had, and they did great. It was easy to file a claim. The only thing I did not like about it is I had to pay extra to get the manufacturer parts. Other than that, I'm very satisfied.

    Every night seeing Endurance advertisements on TV I am reminded of being cheated by this company (so frustrating!). I paid in advance (over $2,400) for an extended warranty on my new at that time VW Tiguan. Unfortunately, when several years later (still under their warranty) I needed the Endurance to step in and help with the repair cost they refused!!! I'm convinced that people featured in the ads are blatantly lying and are paid for that with the $$ naive customers (like myself) paid Endurance. Please beware - what sounds too good to be true it's ALWAYS not true!

    2nd warranty with Endurance. This time around, worst ever. The denial of claims is unbelievable on COVERED ITEMS, the bogus reasons for denial. ie. failed to cover a Rack and Pinion based on the fact it had a leak and the LEAK PART was not covered. Leaks are from wear and tear of normal use, yet I was denied. Recently denied power steering hose. It took over 5 calls, 3 from myself to narrow down, the needed part had completely been changed to a valve instead of the covered part. I was actually lied to about this part. Finally got it covered. My warranty is paid in full otherwise I would have cancelled 4 denials ago on (2 of which were and are covered items).

    I contacted customer service to cancel my $131 monthly policy after paying 18 months because none of my repairs over this period of time were covered. After being arm twisted to continue the policy for over 35 minutes, I got an email to verify my car's mileage & HAVE IT NOTARIZED to cancel! This is a crime to make us jump through hoops to cancel!

    Endurance did not want to pay for a part which cover by their own policy. Had to take them to the court and apparently the policy is written in such a way that inhibited the judge to make a decision because of the technicalities. Judge order to send the case to an Arbiter. So far it was a nightmare. Avoid Endurance at any cost.

    Not a great experience with Endurance but Joseph who helped with cancellation of my warranty was very help. Called and spoke to someone before him and emailed them and they didn't return my email or call, but called again and spoke with Joseph and he took care of everything and answered all my questions.

    I have the platinum policy which I was told covers “EVERYTHING“ on and in my car that makes it run!!! Well, I was totally lied to because I have now been waiting for over 3 weeks to get an approval from a so-called inspector that went out to look and inspect my repairs who is claiming they are “pre-existing repairs“ which if they are not and how could you know even if they were? So on that note here I sit waiting with no car to drive and they haven’t even offered me a rental car while having to wait for an answer on my repairs and once again I pay $170.00 a month for a platinum policy!!! So buyers beware, this company will lie to you to get your business and then forget all about you once they have reeled you in. The way I have been treated is unacceptable!!!!

    Purchased an Endurance Warranty on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Had an issue with the CVT Transmission in March 2025 and took into the shop. Just had 4 payments left on our warranty and had paid nearly $3000 on the warranty to this point. Had to wait nearly a week for Endurance to get a guy out to the dealership to look at the vehicle to make sure vehicle was in "good shape" and we hadn't towed with it. Which we never have. Endurance only wanted to pay a little over $1400 going on the resale value of the vehicle. Read your contract carefully; this company is dishonest and does everything they can to not pay for repairs. Stay far, far away from Endurance. They are nothing but a SCAM!

    The salesman who presented my plan was misleading when I asked direct questions about the total coverage cap for the life of the policy. Additionally, I sought confirmation on the cap provided for oil changes. Instead of clearly stating the facts, I was repeatedly told that the plan would cover the cost of an oil change. I even provided the salesman with my last oil change expense for my 2021 Palisade, which was $78.42, and was informed that the plan would pay for three oil changes a year. However, I later found out that the plan actually covers only $50 towards an oil change, which should have been communicated to me upfront.

    I had a contract with Endurance for over 3 months now. I have made 2 claims which have both been denied. My Drive Train and Transmission have problems. I took my vehicle into the BMW dealership to have fixed and both times my claims were denied by Endurance. BMW said these companies never allow claims. BMW told my that the parts weren't covered by my policy because of loop holes. When I read my policy I now realize that basically nothing will ever be covered by Endurance because this company is a fraud. Don't believe those TV commercials and save your money.

    Also when I tried cancelling my service contract I went through HELL! It was so unprofessional and nerve racking. They made me sign and have the notice of cancellation notarized. Then when I call Line5 to make sure they weren't going to charge my bank anymore they claimed they knew nothing about it and it would take up to 8 weeks to have this resolved. Also they were very rude and unprofessional. I hope that I save someone money. Think twice before you waste your money.

    Associate was rude. He talked over me and would not listen to my questions. I could not get a price even though I was ready to buy.     This is the worst company to deal with. Had me getting all my paperwork from previous owners and it stated I can take it to any shop. Well that’s not true. I took it to one they wanted it to somebody else do. I had it towed there and the claim was still denied. I will never in my life deal with this company again and I still has not got any of my money back. So if you reading my review please do use this company, you will be out of more money. It says 30 days and a 1000 miles, well that’s not true. I went over a 1000 miles as well as 30 days.

    Don’t care about people only about making a sale! Will take your money for years! When you need them they come up with all these ways to not pay for your car to get fix especially if it’s a big job. Have you waiting over 5 days just to see if they will cover your car or not telling you to just go ahead and get the rental they will reimburse you not tell you if it’s not approved they will not! They look for the littlest things just to not approve it. Very poor communication. You have to keep calling them asking about your claim. One rep will tell you one thing and another will tell you something else!

    Everything went great on my claim! It was $1,400 and I only had to pay $100 deductible. It more than paid for me to have endurance with the monthly payments. I just wish I could get some kind of residuals for the commercial that I filmed two years ago.     Rodney in billing was very helpful. I spoke with 2 woman previously today and I can't say that they had the same type of customer service. I just wanted to get some help because my auntie is dieing in the hospital as we speak so I needed help 😪 on getting a rent a car so that I can be with her.     Beware of this no good company!! Please stay away! Their talk is cheap! I was with them for 3months and when I finally met my mileage to get service on my car, I called them to make sure that I was in the clear to get my car serviced. And I was told I was good to go. I make an appointment at the repair shop get there, wait on the diagnostic and was told that all the repairs were declined. So with that comes a 300.00 diagnostic fee out of my pocket which should have been paid by endurance! How frustrating this was after leaving work to drive several miles to get disappointed!

    Endurance claimed that some of my issues were preexisting, which doesn’t make sense. They claimed that there was a Discrepancy with my mileage when I enrolled, which was an error on their part. So I’m out of 300.00 and no service whatsoever done to my car!! I was told that if I submitted a document showing my mileage at last inspection then I could at least get my reimbursement. I did that and was denied!! This is the biggest false advertisement!! I knew I should have chosen Car Shield!! Y’all really need to stop advertising these lies!!! And give me my money back, people are struggling and yal’ll are just making matters worse!! Trust me, please don’t use this service!! They have way too many stipulations that makes no sense!!

    Endurance warranty refused to pay the repair on my car after paying on the warranty for the last year and the card never had an issue. The minute the car had an issue they refused to pay it. Kind of funny when they talked me into getting the warranty because of my transfers case and that’s the exact part that went out on my car and now they won’t fix it. Something about a 3000 mile discrepancy on my mileage on my car.. I’m sorry I have a life and I travel out of state to see my family! Horrible service never use this company!

    I HAVE 2010 NISSAN ALTIMA. I was lied that my policy will cover suspension and struts on my vehicle. I was very specific when I told the lady before I bought the warranty with them. She told me it will be more charge but she can make it happen. I was paying extra money for it. Told her I am planning to go out of state. My car would be driven by my mom. I don't want any issue if anything happens to my car.

    I called them 2 weeks ago. Talk to someone and I was told I was not covered. I paid more for gasket. I called the warranty place past friday. Talk to a guy. He said he will email me my contract. Nothing from him. Whole process was scam. I paid more for more. Thought I will be covered when I most need them. I will be posting this on my you tube channel and make everyone aware of this warranty place. Very very very disappointed. I will be contacting or doing my review on BBB as well.     "Beware". Think twice before you choose Endurance. When we signed up we were advised among other items, the contract covered radios and the components. Once we agreed we were advised we would be emailed a copy of the contract. Which never came. We call numerous times. Still no contract. Had to take the car in for service as a woofer and speaker went out. Claim was denied... We called for an explanation, the customer service representative was less than helpful as she definitely sounded like she didn't want to be there. The denial reason stated.."Speaker and woofer have been denied, because it may be connected to something "Not", covered." Finally received a copy of the contract after the fact.

    We do have the "Platinum and luxury" package which, stated both are covered. Had we read the reviews online and with the BBB which state. "According to the Better Business Bureau, reviews for Endurance Warranty Services are largely negative, with numerous complaints regarding denial of claims, poor customer service, difficulty reaching resolution on repair issues, and accusations of deceptive practices; many users report issues with Endurance refusing to cover repairs even when documentation proves the vehicle was properly maintained, and the company is not accredited by the BBB." We are very disappointed in Endurance and would advise others to do your due diligence before you move forward.

    I never believed that I could get mechanic insurance. I have gotten numerous letters and calls about an extended warranty and would hang up or trash the letters. Well I’m a true believer.     First off... I read the 5 Star reviews and they all seem to be about talking about and purchasing a policy, not filing a claim. ENDURANCE DOES NOT COVER WEAR AND TEAR, which is about 100% of failures. Read the contract, Will not cover wear and tear items. If a part wears out like a bearing in transmission, differential, engine, wheels, ANYWHERE, that will not be covered. DO NOT PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM ENDURANCE!!!!

    They will not pay for anything because they say "It's not covered due to normal wear and tear". Look at your policy and it will say Normal wear and tear is not covered. What causes Wear and Tear? DRIVING YOUR CAR IS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. Everything that breaks is due to normal wear and tear. If you don't use your car then it will never break, so as long as the car sits in the driveway not driven they will cover any repairs. DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL!

    My differential and driveshaft was making a grinding noise, found metal bits inside the differential. Endurance wanted the differential taken apart (antoher $1400 labor) or they would not cover the repair. So I had no choice but to authorize disassemble of the differential. Endurance examined inside and said "it's not covered due to normal wear and tear". So now I'm stuck not only paying to replace it but an extra $1400 on top of that for the labor to disassemble the bad one. Supercharger bearing also is going out and Endurance said "not covered, normal wear and tear". It's a sealed one-piece unit.

    Don't waste your money on Endurance, they tell you everything is covered when you're ready to buy a policy and afterwards.... It's not covered, normal wear and tear. Isn't driving everyday normal wear and tear, so they don't have to pay for anything according to their policy. I'm now stuck paying over $19,000 in repairs cost AND paying for Endurance Warranty policy. What a rip-off.

    This was not a good experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone join this company because they stand behind their words. Accountability! What Accountability! First I was folded that this car protection company was better than it's competition and it was recommended to me by a family member my sister in fact whom hadn't had to use their services yet but said I should join. However, boy was she wrong! Donny, the rep. Whom setup my policy was disingenuous in his responses to my questions in part for example; stating that I had to wait one month to qualify for services but never mentioned that I also had to drive my car 1000 miles.

    Well I got a big beef with Endurance. I had an alternator that went out on my car. Took it to the dealer with my damn Endurance warranty. The dealer want to put a alternator on that goes with my car a Hyundai Sonata for 1000 dollars. They called endurance. They didn't want to pay it so they denied the price and they themselves had an alternator sent to the dealer that's not even compatible with my car. It's a faulty alternator that till this day I'm still having issues with it. My headlights are blinking like Christmas lights. My check engine light is on. The now has to go back to the dealer for a 3rd time with the same issue. Endurance offered at first to pay only 200 dollars for the Hyundai alternator and wanted us to pay the remaining 800. Guess they wanted us to forget once we took the car to the shop our deductible was suppose to be only 100 dollars.

    This is some shady business practice in my book and they still want us to continue to pay for our warranty even with the alternator issues I'm seriously considering getting my warranty somewhere else especially if I have to come out of my pocket to replace my own alternator I won't need endurance any longer. I've even reported them to the Better Business folks. Looks like I'm going to do it again so think twice before signing on with endurance. Shop around because these folks do have shady business practice. 💯💯💯

    The Endurance sales guy wasn't pushy and he wouldn't have to push me because I knew what I was up against. The only thing I needed to do was to make a decision and get this moving one way or another or I wouldn't do it. The only part that I was a little bit disturbed about with Endurance was that I needed to make a decision right then or it was gonna cost me extra money. In other words, they offered me a discount, but they had to know right now. They couldn't know in a day or two days. Initially, my intent was to try and get a couple of different quotes because I had never gone into that market before.

    When they offered me the offer they made, I honestly couldn't tell if it was a good offer or if I could have shopped around and got a better offer. So, as long as I stayed on the phone, their offer was valid. I wished they would have given me a little bit of comparison time. But I bought it because I liked it. Their product stands for itself and they had no reason to force me into it. I would have gone back to them at any rate. I had read a little bit online about Endurance. I knew the company and the number of employees. So, I knew what I was looking at. I knew it was a pretty good deal. So, I went ahead and accepted it and signed up.

    The amount of coverage I have is four and a half years. I asked the sales guy about it and he said, "Well, but we can't do anything for the first month." So, that decrements a month of their coverage. I don't quite understand how that works. If you give me 12 months of coverage and you tell me I can't use the first month, then it's 11 months of coverage. Then they phrase it that way just so it doesn't sound shady. It's not a problem. But it seems a little dupey.

    I bring my truck to Nissan and they call Endurance which authorizes what needs to be done and without any trouble. I’ve had Endurance for three years and I've been very happy, which was why I signed up again. I was buying $65,000 worth of coverage and I got another 25,000 for 25 cents more per month. That sounds good. It would have been nice if the rep would have said they were giving me 100,000 miles.     We got the Endurance warrant on my Cadillac 2019 XT4 with 27600 miles because the Cadillac wouldn’t give warranty even though it’s suppose to be 100000 miles but oh well we have Endurance and they even pay for my oil changes 2 times a year. I have had 2 problems, one was a tire sensor which they did not cover but anything other than that sensor was ALL covered! Endurance thank you for picking up where Cadillac let us down as far as sticking to their words.

    My original warranty had expired and I didn’t even know. The car dealer I bought my car from also went out of business. So, I had to get an extended warranty on my car in case anything was to happen. I've always seen Endurance's commercial on TV so it was between that and CarShield. I had CarShield when I was living in Columbus, Ohio and I don't care for them too much.

    The sign-up process was straightforward. The representative, I believe his name was Peter, was helpful in explaining what was covered. Although I found out that some additional coverage options required paying more, the major parts were covered, which I was okay with, given the price he offered me.

    I was informed that the program would activate 30 days or 1,000 miles after purchase, whichever came first. I bought it on February 19th, so it should kick in on March 20th. I appreciated that if I needed a rental, they would accommodate me if the certified dealer didn't have one available.

    In terms of pricing, Endurance offered a better deal than CarShield. With CarShield, I would have paid $250 a month with $500 out of pocket, but with Endurance, I'm only paying $139 per month with no out-of-pocket expenses.

    I'd currently rate my sign-up experience a 5 because everything went smoothly, though this would change if any issues arose later. I’d recommend Endurance because they seem to offer good value and work with customers to provide more for what you're looking for.

    I have been a previous customer of Endurance, and my past experience was positive, so when the time came for a new extended warranty, I chose them again.     I saw Endurance through a television advertisement and after looking it up online, it had really good reviews.     I like that Endurance doesn't have a middle person. I've had in the past a bad experience with other companies where there's a third party. When it was time for my car to be serviced, the other company that I had for almost two years gave me a runaround and the car was kept in the shop for almost two weeks. Finally, they denied the service so I canceled them. When I saw the advertisement with Endurance and spoke with one of their agents, they said they don't have a middleman, that the car goes to the shop and they give the okay for the shop to go ahead and do the work.     Endurance Auto Warranty was recommended by my service advisor in Napleton, Dodge where I get my truck serviced. They highly recommended it, saying they were really good. I did some independent research, and the pricing was competitive. The representative who assisted me during the sign-up process was incredibly professional. He's definitely an asset to the company.

    The policy starts 30 days after approval, so if something goes wrong, it's covered. Even though my truck is great and I don't anticipate any problems, having the insurance gives me peace of mind. The representative explained everything so thoroughly that I didn't have any questions afterward and I signed up immediately.

    Rating my sign-up experience, I'd actually give it a 6 out of 5 if I could. It was that exceptional. This feedback is purely based on my genuine experience. As a businessperson, I'd only give good reviews if they're deserved.

    I typically get a new truck every three years, but given the current business environment, I decided to keep this truck for another two years and I wanted it covered.

    If a friend or family asked me about Endurance, I'd tell them to definitely check it out. Do their research, and they'll find, as I did, that Endurance stands out in every aspect I investigated.

    The sales agent at Endurance was exceptional—very personable and knowledgeable, answering my queries even before I asked them. He made the process smooth and comprehensible. I started looking for an auto warranty, and discovered Endurance Auto Warranty through advertisements. I checked their ratings on the Better Business Bureau, and seeing their high ratings, decided to give them a call.

    Extremely Disappointed!!! I received a letter about a price increase. There was nothing in the letter about which vehicle. Only a file #. I called in to ask about the increase and the BOZO on the phone could not tell me which vehicle. He stated a (2) step verification was needed. I verified my name and the File #. He then still would not tell me which vehicle. I have purchased (3) vehicles within the last (2) years. I was not sure which vehicle that is why I called. I asked several time to please tell me for which vehicle did you send the letter? He continued to refuse. After much discussion, I listed all (3) vehicles. WO,W so much hassle over a vehicle that I no longer own. Surely you guys must have a better way to communicate with your customer. Easy just state on the letter to which vehicle you are sending the letter for. This man was extremely rude. I will not recommend Endurance EVER.

    Avoid Endurance Auto Insurance at All Costs. I strongly advise against purchasing Endurance Auto Insurance. Their advertising is highly misleading. While they claim you can choose your own mechanic, what they conveniently fail to mention is they impose a strict cap on labor rates — leaving you to cover the difference.

    In my case, I had my car’s tie rod ends replaced at a certified Ford dealership. When the dealer contacted Endurance for payment, they were informed Endurance's maximum labor reimbursement was $23/hour less than the dealership's rate — forcing me to pay the difference out of pocket.

    Additionally, I had other repairs performed that were clearly covered under my contract. However, because the dealer didn’t include those repairs in the initial inquiry, Endurance flat-out refused to pay — even though the contract showed the work was eligible. Another critical issue is that Endurance can take months to pay mechanics — leaving many repair shops unwilling to work with them at all. If your mechanic refuses to deal with Endurance, you're out of luck. In contrast, I've had zero issues with my dealer's extended warranty on my other vehicle — prompt payment, no hidden clauses, and no headaches. Before considering any third-party warranty company, check with your dealer first. It could save you a massive amount of frustration and unexpected expenses. Steer clear of Endurance.

    My 2018 Jeep Wrangler that I purchased less than a year from CarMax has been great! Until I backed out of my driveway over a month ago. I started to drive and click click click...the bushings on my sway bar is making a terrible noise and my steering is sketchy. Call a tow truck the next morning and it's taken to a Jeep dealership that we used the warranty on 2 months prior for a windshield wiper motor. Great service, done quickly...Well apparently if it's under a certain $ amount it's easy breezy fresh and squeezing. Well the sway bar is in the crapper as well as the drive shaft! Endurance sends someone out a week after it's been there...We had a snow storm and they waited until Friday to come out. The person didn't take pictures that the "adjuster" needed. So the dealership did.

    A week goes by with missed phone calls and unanswered messages by the dealership and the adjuster. The adjuster now wants a video of the Jeep as it drives...the dealership refuses as it's not their job it's the job of the warranty company to send out an appraiser...it's now week 3 going into the weekend and Monday will be week 4. My Husband files a complaint with the BBB on that Friday. We get a call from someone at Endurance wanting "solve" our issue by the name of Cindy or Cynthia. Tells my husband that she will look into it on Monday. She calls and says the adjuster is trying to get a hold of the dealership and our claim should be cleared up.

    Now this Cindi got all this information from us and it turns out she is the adjuster. The person who we feel and believe was causing all of this. Endurance told us from the beginning adjusters don't talk to customers they only talk to dealerships. Really? Ethically how was the conversation we had with the person who called us to solve our complaint relevant to the adjuster who it turns out called us. Who by the way denied the claim on the drive shaft as it was only seeping. So they don't cover it. 4 mechanics we called said that's a safety issue and we could be seriously hurt and or killed if we drive our jeep without a repair.

    Oh and the adjuster is sending a $29.99 part for the sway bar that SHE found on the Internet. God only knows where this part came from....China, Taiwan, Indonesia....is it guaranteed? What quality is it. She gets a part of the Internet from some fly by night Co...Is she gonna guarantee our safety and our lives? Food for thought.....my opinion is use a different Co. Maybe one that cares about your safety and your families' safety. Your life may depend upon it as ours does!

    I signed up for an extended car warranty with high hopes, thinking I’d be covered in case of an issue. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating. After paying for months, when a major issue arose with my car, they did absolutely nothing to help. I followed all the steps, provided all the documentation they requested, and even paid the required deductible. Yet, they refused to cover the repair, leaving me to foot the entire bill.

    The customer service is terrible — they’re unresponsive and unhelpful, and it feels like they just want to take your money without actually providing any value. This has been a complete waste of time and money, and I would strongly advise against purchasing an extended warranty from this company. Do yourself a favor and save your money for the repairs, or find a more reliable provider.
