    I bought one of the best plans available with Endurance I thought. I was stranded over the border in BC (which I am covered for with my plan) for 5 hours on the side of an interstate with no tow truck that arrived in that time. When I called the roadside assistance for my plan with Endurance on a Saturday July 5th on a hot afternoon, I was sent to a company called DPK. I could not understand most of what they were saying. All of that said, I was able to understand that they would send a tow truck. They sent me the initial notification that they had received my request but nothing ever followed up including providing me the name of a provider and they never sent the tow truck after multiple attempts. Then they canceled the request without me asking for a cancel. I would say probably seven phone calls in that time.

    Luckily my car started to work again around the 5th hour and I was able to make it home. Then after not having a bathroom, food or water for 5 hours and being stranded on the side of an interstate, I brought the vehicle home and promptly took it to a dealership to have it serviced. I found out at this time that endurance only covers a mechanics rate up to $125 not up to the $200 that they charge here in the area that I live in. So that was another reason to believe this is not the company they claim to be. I am completely dissatisfied with this company and considering canceling the contract. Further, I would never trust that roadside assistance would ever come to your aid. As a diabetic who did not have water, a bathroom or food or anything in that 5 hours stranded on Interstate 1 on a hot Saturday afternoon I wouldn't trust them.

    Endurance has been a nightmare, they tell you everything you want to hear to sell the policy. We have tried to file 3 claims and they have not paid a dime, they don't have a problem taking your money but will find any reason to not fix the issues. We are cancelling the policies and they want you to jump through hoops for that, they want a notarized copy of cancellation from and then they tell you it will be 4-6 weeks for them to send the check back to you. This company is a scam and after reviewing other peoples issues, that is when I decided we needed to get our money back because they will find unrelated things to deny the claim. I have never modified my vehicle and they are saying that my truck has been modified. I advise everyone thinking about getting this extended warranty "DON'T"

    I directly called Endurance and was impressed early on in our conversation. The representative engaged in an actual dialogue rather than a hard sales pitch, which I appreciated.

    I initially aimed for a Powertrain coverage, but the competitiveness and quality of service from Endurance swayed my decision towards their offerings, considering what I was willing to pay. Even without extensive comparison shopping, which isn't my style, I felt comfortable committing to them.

    While I haven't fully explored the app, it seems aesthetically pleasing and trustworthy. Importantly, their claim that I could cancel the policy at any time held true upon reading the contract, which speaks volumes about their transparency.

    I recently had a very disappointing experience with Endurance Warranty that I feel compelled to share. After only two months of owning my vehicle, I encountered an issue and promptly filed a claim. To my dismay, after more than three weeks of back-and-forth communication, my claim was denied on the grounds of a so-called pre-existing internal breakdown. It’s baffling to me how they could determine that there was a pre-existing condition on a vehicle I had owned for such a short time. The car had been functioning perfectly fine until the issue arose. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic; when I signed up for the warranty, everything sounded great, and the representatives were incredibly reassuring. However, once it came time to utilize the warranty, it became clear that they can deny claims at their discretion, especially when the costs start to add up.

    To make matters worse, when I called to cancel my warranty, the representative was pushy in trying to convince me to stay, claiming I was getting good value. If I’m going to end up paying out of pocket anyway, what’s the point of having this warranty? It’s simply not worth it. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before investing in Endurance Warranty. Save your money and look for a more reliable option. You deserve a warranty that will actually support you when you need it!

    I've been seeing Endurance Auto Warranty on TV and reading about them in the magazine. The sign-up process was quite straightforward, which I appreciated.     I have a Jaguar xe prestige v6 T. Endurance was Absolutely Amazing, when I finally needed to use my warranty.     During my interactions with Endurance, I was impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of their representative. I decided to opt for full coverage, but I'm currently a bit uncertain about the specifics of the coverage package I received. They mentioned a waiting period of about three months before I could use the coverage, which I thought was important to know.

    I did receive a hard copy of the policy in the mail, which is convenient. One of my concerns with Endurance is the higher price—it's more expensive than my previous policy. Being a veteran and a senior citizen, I inquired about discounts and the best they could offer was around $119, which isn't as low as I hoped.

    Overall, I'd rate my experience with Endurance a solid 4 out of 5. The signup process and customer service were good, and the representative handling my case was really great. However, I'm still not completely satisfied with the price, which I would rate around a 2 out of 5.

    I bought a 2022 Chevy Colorado, and since the extended warranty would only last for the first 6,000 miles, I knew I needed something beyond that. I researched a few companies and finally decided on Endurance. A major factor in my decision was the sales representative. She was incredibly thorough and persuasive in explaining the benefits to me, so much so that I felt compelled to go with their offer.

    I signed up for bumper-to-bumper coverage, which was reassuring. The sign-up process itself was straightforward, thanks again to the helpful sales rep, and I would rate it highly. While I haven’t yet had the opportunity to use the service itself, the process of getting everything set up was seamless.

    In terms of pricing, I found it to be very reasonable.

    I also downloaded their app, which confirmed my elite membership status and provided quick links to towing assistance and my policy. However, beyond that, there wasn't a lot of additional information displayed. Despite this, my initial experience signing up and dealing with Endurance has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks in large part to their employee's professionalism.

    The appealing coverage of Endurance made me consider switching, especially after losing trust in my previous warranty provider. While the initial sign-up process with Endurance was fine, confusion set in with the paperwork. I expected complete documentation, including what's covered and not, and I didn’t receive any of that — not even a physical card for my wallet, like my last provider gave. It's frustrating because I was promised this paperwork, yet even after contacting customer service and waiting over 40 days, nothing came. It was kindly mentioned this should arrive within 7 to 14 days.

    The Endurance representative who signed me up was quite professional and knowledgeable, which was a relief amidst all the paperwork chaos. I would tell others to be diligent about securing all the necessary paperwork if they choose to go with Endurance. I even heard from a support person that some paperwork services were discontinued, which only adds to the perplexity. It's unsettling not having a tangible document to refer to since I'm unable to print it out myself. Even if electronic formats are available, carrying a laptop everywhere isn't practical.

    Their claim process is arduous and very difficult to get through either on the phone which they keep you on hold for extended period times like over an hour or online which you need to have very specific codes from the repair shop or car dealership. The car dealership I worked with did not want to process the claim since it takes so long through Endurance system and I had to do it myself at the dealership. They actually have a printed sign at the service desk saying they recommend not using this company because of the claim process and how many things get denied. I tried to claims initially were accepted but then eventually denied.

    When canceling I was told well that I called back and ask why it was denied that I would have to provide service maintenance records that I maintained my vehicle properly. This was for an oil pan leak not sure what preventive maintenance or maintenance I should be doing on a oil pan but that's what they told me and then if I submitted maintenance records, They may consider the claim. Not worth it for the time and effort it took just to go through the claim process over an hour and a half and that's with the assistance of the dealership giving me the codes I needed for the repair and each part down to the nut and bolt and screws with part numbers for every item. To be denied and then told to resubmit it and be denied again with maintenance records

    Warranty should be comprehensive when it comes to hydraulic components on our warranted vehicles. If my right side brake caliper is determined to be bad, the general consensus in the maintenance industry due to physics is both calipers SHOULD be replaced... NOT just the passenger side. Same goes for components such as hydraulic struts; when one side is deemed bad, it's imperative that the other side gets changed out at the same time. This is a SAFETY issue in that we have an imbalance between two hydraulic components that could cause an accident.

    Endurance Auto Warranty was suggested by the dealership when I purchased my car through Carvana. Signing-up was a good experience. My main concern arose soon after the purchase when I discovered some unexpected issues with my vehicle, especially codes that needed addressing. While the vehicle was within the 7-day grace period for issues to be sorted, I encountered a snag with the coverage. One of the major disappointments was that Endurance refused to cover a brake fluid replacement because it was labeled a "maintenance item," even though I had barely owned the car for six days. This was surprising and quite disheartening, as I expected the warranty to cover such unanticipated early issues.

    Fortunately, Carvana stepped in and offered to reimburse me for the brake fluid expense. I'm currently in the process of waiting for that reimbursement. However, I initially hoped that Endurance would have addressed these concerns, particularly given the situation's circumstances. I felt that Endurance could have shown more empathy and flexibility, considering I was a new customer addressing an immediate issue.

    If I could leave a zero I would! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY! They always find a way NOT to cover something! My alternator went out and caused my new battery to fail and the regular battery warranty won't cover it because it was caused by the alternator. Not only that the BMW dealership won’t put in an aftermarket alternator and of course although the alternator is covered it’s only 1/2 the price of the OEM part. I’ve never made a claim and had this warranty for 4 years. Worse company ever!

    Unfortunately, my experience with Endurance Auto Warranty hasn't gone as smoothly as anticipated. After driving over 1,700 miles in approximately five months, I started experiencing transmission problems. I took my car to a Nissan dealership, where the Endurance representative inspected it. While he acknowledged the issue, Endurance requested to tear down the transmission for further inspection with the risk that if they decided not to cover the repairs, I'd have to pay out-of-pocket.

    This process has left me without a car for about two weeks. Despite not having used the warranty service until now, I did meet both their 30 days and 1,000 miles conditions, so this has been incredibly frustrating. When I reached out to customer service before submitting a claim, they guided me to take the car to the dealership, and the dealership was to contact Endurance. However, the wait time on call was around 45 minutes.

    In purchasing the insurance, red flags regarding my Nissan Altima SV were already raised during the call with the representative, so I was assured covering the car wouldn't be an issue. Despite having no problems when driving initially, issues have emerged after activation. I'm hoping Endurance resolves this soon, as the current lack of clarity and coverage is disappointing given the premium paid and the initial positive review I left for them.

    No Stars Buyer Beware, fraudulent expectations, please find another Company with a Better Plan. I was fed false information, telling me my policy with the warranty Company I initially purchased with my car was expiring. This was not true.     Endurance is the worse extended warranty company out right now. Customers service has you on hold for an average of 48 minutes. I took my 2019 Chevy Tahoe to a Chevy dealership service center because my transmission burnt out. The automatic transmission is covered under my warranty. Endurance will not use the repair parts that the dealership had, and instead wanted to ship out aftermarket parts that would have taken an additional 6 days to get to the service center and then won’t release payment to the service center until they received the broken transmission even after a claims adjuster already came out to confirm, take pictures and assess the damage to the vehicle.

    We are talking about 2 weeks without a car and the rental car policy is crap. They only cover you for up to 5 days at $30 a day. It takes 6 days for the service center to even get the part. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I encourage any and everyone who is thinking about an extended warranty to avoid using Endurance. This is a major inconvenience for me and my family. It’s not even about having 1 bad experience. This is the second time that they failed to actually cover the repairs required that fall under my coverage. They want you to accept their aftermarket parts and pay premium prices for coverage. DO NOT USE ENDURANCE!

As she did, I called to cancel for full refund as they digit not the activation fee of 29.00!, sad a company does that to consumers.     I have followed what they needed except the business that I had the coolant flush done over a year before I signed up with the owner closed the shop due to Cancer and back injury. I CANNOT reach the gentleman. Plus, their own hired inspector agreed with CarFix in Knoxville that my claim is legit and should be fixed. Endurance is denying and close my case without even notifying me that they denying it for no reason other they refused to uphold their end of the agreement. I used their own certified repair that is 45 miles away from my home and town. I do not have a car to take my mother who is soon to be 91 around. I am now without a car. This is fraud and also they are frauding thousands for doing this. They are misleading, falsifying what they say on tv too.

    The sign-up process with Endurance was a mixed experience. Initially, I was promised a waiver of a $29 fee, but this was not honored until I followed up with a supervisor. Moreover, the lack of transparency was troubling; they neglected to inform me about needing to drive 1,000 miles and wait a month before coverage would activate.

    The sales representative also seemed more focused on closing the deal than conveying the essential terms. It's crucial for them to be upfront with potential customers and not aggressively push for sales. However, despite this, I would rate my experience with a 4.

    The extended coverage was important for me given my truck's condition, a 2015 model approaching 95,000 miles. It was maintained meticulously, and continuing coverage seemed prudent, especially with Ford's prohibitive costs.

    For those considering Endurance, I would suggest going ahead but emphasize that honesty in communication is key. I'm 80 years old and have experienced many such dealings, and clarity is vital. There was some miscommunication regarding the terms relating to mileage and waiting periods, which potential customers should be aware of.

    I would never encourage anyone to get warranty from this company. I have been paying my monthly coverage for over 2 years, not one claims until now. My check engine light came on in my Audi Q8 2019. Took it to the dealer. Found out it was a water pump issue. They contacted Endurance, all parts and labor is covered for this issue that cost $3389. Adjuster came. Checked out the car and said I'm not covered for this claim because I have modifications on the car. The dealer explained to Endurance I had no such things. The car is the same from when I purchased it. To my surprise and theirs I was denied because "MY TIRES WAS UNDER SIZE"!

    A water pump hose replacement that is leaking was denied due to 275 tire instead of 285. Not the rims, axel, shocks, or any wheel components but the tire. I was left with the bill for this Premium coverage that I so-called had with them. Getting through customer service is another issue. I have to wait on average 45 min before a representative answers. Troy and Spencer was helpful as much as they can be, but this dirty underhanded practice of contract void because of tire size which was never brought up to me when I first got it. Needs to be brought up to the Better Business. Now I'm fighting for a full refund of all my money I paid them for no coverage. They are scammers.!!

    I bought my car on March 11th, I heard a front rattle on April 1st, (the pads and rotors were missing hardware, so it rattled when I pressed the brake). I paid for it and started my Endurance plan at the end of April. Drop my car off in June, 5k miles later, (the steering rack and pins broke. I heard a rattle when I accelerated and the tire shook). I drove immediately to my mechanic, called Endurance, after days of back and forth it was denied, because apparently any front rattle means it's all the same problem, even though they had the statements showing it was two completely unrelated issues by two different shops. I had to speak to two supervisors to get it overturned (they knew it didn't make sense).

    I finally got the call it was overturned!! We were at 11 days of the mechanic having my car. By the way, I am a single mother with 3 kids, and in school. My mechanic calls multiple times, THE CLAIM IS STILL DENIED!! I've spoken with half of the Endurance team at this point, they've all assured me, it's been overturned, he can call to process my claim. My mechanic calls, ITS STILL DENIED. Apparently, none of the supervisors or agents made sure the note was added correctly, and none of the adjusters bothered to dig deeper. Now, here we are, almost 3 weeks later, guess who still doesn't have a car!! This girl!!! Let's see what next week holds... $10 on more denials.

    They are the worse. I called to cancel because they always had an excuse as far as paying for the repairs I submitted. I was completely lied to by the person who sold me the policy. In order to cancel they said I had to get a form notarized regarding the mileage. Made no sense because I was cancelling the policy. I did not have to get a form notarized regarding the mileage to start the policy. They took my word and bank account information. They are crooked and liars. Don't trust them. I am looking into how to file a class action suit against them. Requiring a notarized form regarding the mileage to cancel a policy and not to start a policy seems a bit illegal.

    This will be a factual review. I bought an Endurance warranty for my 2015 Ford Fusion. 6 months and 5000 miles later my transmission went. I took it to a Ford dealer for diagnosis, and they called and endurance. Endurance would not pay the entire claim. They said my fusion wasn't worth as much as the transmission. That is absolutely ridiculous when they said they would pay $3950 towards a $6200 repair, I was not happy. Then their one manager Jerry explained that they will never pay out more than a total of what my payments to them would have been.

    That is absolutely insane! Yes, they paid the three thousand nine hundred and fifty dollars, but I had to come up with the rest. Sad is not what I expected nor what I was told when I bought this warranty and now because they have paid out what the total of my payments would b, they will pay no more towards any other necessary repairs. So I canceled my warranty after 7 months. The hell with endurance!

    I’m sharing my experience with Endurance Auto Warranty after they refused to honor my Superior Plan vehicle service contract on two clearly covered repairs for my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X. I purchased their “Superior” plan, marketed as a comprehensive coverage option just below exclusionary. However, when I filed claims for two failed components for the first time — the Master Power Window Switch and the Transfer Case Control Module (DTCM) — both were denied.

    🔧 1. Master Power Window Switch – Denied. The contract (Section VI.C.3.h) lists “Power Window Switch” as a covered component. Yet Endurance denied my claim, arguing the “master” switch wasn’t specifically named. This is misleading — the driver’s master switch is universally considered a power window switch by OEMs, mechanics, and auto parts catalogs. There’s no exclusion in the contract that would justify their denial.

    ⚙️ 2. Transfer Case Control Module (DTCM) – Denied. The DTCM controls all shift logic for the transfer case — including 4WD/AWD functions. The contract covers the Transfer Case (Section VI.C.3.e) and Electronic Shift Control Unit (Section VI.C.3.h). According to Jeep OEM documentation (TSB 08‑120‑21), the DTCM is exactly that: the electronic shift control for the drivetrain. Despite this, Endurance claimed it wasn’t “listed by name,” which again ignores the function and intent of the contract.

    📉 My Experience. I submitted a detailed appeal with contract citations and OEM documentation. Despite this, Endurance maintained their denial. In my view, they are using narrow technicalities to avoid paying legitimate claims — a tactic that feels dishonest and disingenuous, especially for a contract I paid for in good faith.

    📎 If you’re a current or prospective customer: Be cautious. Endurance may deny coverage for items clearly listed in your plan, depending on how they choose to interpret the terminology. I’ve since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am prepared to escalate further if needed.

    They don't deserve 1 star! If you are considering them, first ask them the trade in value at the time of purchase as that is the MAX they will pay out. We purchased an older vehicle with higher mileage 3 years ago and added the 5 year 100,000 mile policy. They had paid out for a new drive shaft (about $900), then only covered about 50% (about $600) of the AC going out. Then the big issue happens after just 3 years and about 25,000 miles (of having the 5 year/100K mile policy) and the transmission goes out. You know the big one that they sell you could cost you like $6,000 to $7,000, and it's fully covered with "this policy"... They decline the claim telling the Chevrolet dealership that it's denied because of "limited liability".

    What this means is at the time of the claim they will look up the "trade-in" value of your car, then they will back out any payments on claims made, and if it's already spent then they deny the claim. In our case, we did overpay for the vehicle a little at the time ($9,000). The reality is the trade in at that time was probably around $4,000. So they signed a "contract" having us pay $5,169 over 3 years (and then the last 2 years are "free"). We are in the "free" time, but the reality is had they said your vehicle right now is worth $4,000 trade in value, and we're going to have you pay us $5,169 to cover claims up to $4,000 I would have told them to pound sand.

    Instead now I have a 2006 Hummer H3, that they are saying the trade in value is $1450. We've already paid out $900 + $600 = $1500 so you are no longer covered. The reality is if you are buying this coverage to protect you for that "big expensive" engine or transmission on an older vehicle with higher mileage, you 100% will NEVER actually accept a claim for these big expenses.

    What a maddening and frustrating experience this has been, after having felt so confident in my choice of Endurance for my first and only car warranty policy, 14 months ago. I am a single female senior citizen whose claim was seemingly deliberately delayed, ignored, mishandled, avoided and wrongfully denied for weeks based on “failure to maintain the car properly”, even though the oil change records I emailed to them In emails marked “1 of 2” and “2 of 2” on the very day they were requested (June 10, 2025).

    Three weeks later, after repeated calls and emails from me and after repeated calls and emails from the car repair shop manager to the adjuster, none of these attempts had ever been acknowledged or responded to. I had re-sent the oil change records in multiple emails and the shop manager also emailed them and although there is proof though the server that my original emails had been opened by Endurance, they still claimed to be missing one of them for 3 weeks.

    Every time that I would call Claims Customer Service (and wait up to 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone), they would tell me that the status of the claim was still “Denied for non-maintenance of the car”. I would explain to them every time that it was not true and that those records had been sent multiple times and I had proof of their receipt, they would put me on hold and come back and say that they had communicated with the claim adjuster, who said he would take care of it immediately and reach out to the car shop, which repeatedly never happened and the emails and calls from the efforts of the shop manager continued to be ignored. I even provided additional oil change receipts, so that they had the last 5, instead of 3 which were requested.

    Prior to my taking my 10 year old GMC car to the shop, my engine light had come on and there had been intermittent engine hesitating issues, which had caused me to pull over on the side of a road a few times. The scans of my mechanic pointed to a chain issue which is prevalent in my car make and model and they found that the chain in question is indeed loose.

    A refusal by Endurance to provide any information or claim clarification went on for weeks after the Endurance inspectors had spent hours with the mechanics, examining my car and had only told the shop manager that it needs to get worse before they could identify a failed part, and the inspector insinuated that I should keep driving it, but that the adjuster would contact him with the report and decision. Immediately after that inspection, communication ceased from Endurance.

    This shop manager has worked with Endurance for over 15 years in other shops and had never seen any such blatant avoidance of communication for 3 weeks after the inspection-- from them or any other car warranty company, but felt that the claim should ultimately be approved by an adjuster because of the loose chain. But without having any report from the adjuster, all we had was the comments from the inspector that the car my have to be driven until the condition gets worse. At the end of those 3 weeks and very much needing my car for appointments and helping to shuttle my grandkids, and getting nothing but the runaround from Endurance every time I called and who told me that I was not allowed to speak to any adjuster, who were only allowed to speak to the mechanics, who Endurance was continuing to ignore.

    I felt that I had no recourse but to pick up my car and drive it a little more, and watch for signs that it has gotten worse, since that seemed to be all the information which had been gleaned from the inspectors. So, on Friday, June 20, at closing time, I paid the shop $400 for my new battery which had been installed prior to tests being run, and took my car home to my garage, rather than leave it sitting in the hot (near 100 degree) sun all day every day while awaiting a response from Endurance, which may never come.

    Before my ride took me to pick up my car I had called Endurance and was still on hold waiting for someone to answer, I did some shopping and took my car home to my garage, and was still on hold when I arrived home. I eventually spoke with a Supervisor in Claims who told me that the status was still “Denied from non-maintenance, but who claimed that she contacted the Over Adjuster, while she was on the phone with me, who told her that he would get on it immediately.

    Almost a week later, I spoke with another person in Claims Customer Service who said he could see in the notes that I had spoken with a Supervisor, but he decided to also reach out to the Over Adjuster, who told the claims agent that he (the Over Adjuster) had made some notes which were not “saved”. The comedy of errors (blatant avoidance) was continuing… but following that last call, the Over Adjuster did finally reach out to the shop manager and gave him a report from the Endurance inspection three weeks earlier.

    The Over Adjuster basically told the repair shop that I would need to spend $2400 for them to show failure inside the chains because those plastic guides would have to be broken because otherwise there was not enough damage to say that there is a “failed part”. The shop manager told him (which the inspector already knew) that his mechanics had already taken photos with a camera in a tube, of the plastic guides in the chain and that the plastic guides are not broken.

    If Endurance considers my car not safe to drive, they should be willing to fix it. If they indeed want it to continue to be driven until the situation gets worse, I can do that, but need to know that driving it will not void my warranty. The supervisor who I spoke to after I put my car back in my garage made that statement, which is the opposite of what the inspector suggested. Because of her remarks, I have only driven the car on the day I brought it home from the shop. The engine light was not on that day, but I observed some minor, but discernible, hesitation in the timing.

    One of the main reasons I picked it up from the shop was because they stated that it needs to get worse and it looked like they had washed their hands of it, with no report. The entire reason I purchased a warranty was because anything over a $500 car expense would be not manageable or possible on my fixed income. If there is “No failed part” and thus, no approved claim, I assume my car can be driven without voiding the warranty, especially since driving it until it gets worse was suggested by the inspector.

    If Endurance perceives a danger in continuing to driving the car, after hours of inspecting it, then I would expect them to cover a claim without the shop having to charge me $2400 to repeat an exam which they have already made, and which Endurance has already has said would disqualify me from being reimbursed for that $2400. How ethical is that? And how manipulative was the obvious runaround that I was given, probably in hopes that a female senior citizen would simply give up and cancel the warranty. I hope that Danica Patrick and your other spokespeople are aware of these deceitful tactics.

    When it came to price, I found the policy reasonable. Yet, one significant drawback is that Endurance’s services aren't available on weekends. This is inconvenient since, like many people, I often take my car to the shop on weekends. With the company being closed during that time, I can't utilize the service without taking time off work.

    I purchased endurance extended warranty insurance last fall. Since that time I have had several problems with my vehicle. The first time I took it in to an approved service center the technician it was for my AC system. It has quit working. I was also having problems with my transmission. Upon inspection of my vehicle, the technician discover a broken motor mount. They contacted Endurance and Endurance needed to send out a third party adjuster to inspect the car. They approved the AC unit to be fixed but not with OEM approved parts. They want to fix it with cheaper parts and if I wanted OEM’s I need to pay the difference. They also approved the motor mount repair. Oddly when that adjuster turned his report Endurance felt they needed another adjuster to look the motor mounts.

    The second adjuster approved the replacement of all three motor mounts. Again, when the adjuster turned his report and my repair facility requested approval for the motor mounts and AC unit Endurance told them the last adjuster did not look at the AC unit and they were going to have to send out another adjuster. This was after Endurance had already approved the AC. Know that Endurance always says the adjuster will be there within 24 to 48 hours but if it’s a Thursday that may mean Monday before they get there. Then you have to wait until the adjuster’s report is reviewed by Endurance. So my first go around with Endurance tied my car up for a month.

    I also realized that Endurance always bases their claim on the amount of hours they think it will take to make the repair not what the repair center says they will take. Know that your extended warranty from Endurance will only cover about 50 to 70% of the total bill. They sell the plan with the illusion that all you have to pay a the $100 deductible. My first go around they paid $3,300 and I paid $1650. All work done was warranty work.

    The second go around was a similar situation but again with the transmission. The technician said the transmission needed replaced but Endurance only approved a replacement electrical harness. While there I had the vehicle serviced and the coolant flushed and replaced. That cost me $213. The insurance for the transmission work paid $1200 and with the $213 I paid for the coolant flush I paid an additional $1,300. Again my vehicle was tied up one more month. One of the time this situation the repair center could not get Endurance to give them authorization to do the work because Endurance computer network was down and they couldn’t get the adjusters report to pull up to review. So understand Endurance has a fairly good rating but be prepared it is not a good as it looks when you are purchasing your extended warranty from them.

    I need a new engine for my Dodge Journey but they won't cover it because I'm missing 2 oil changes invoices. After being told 3 times all they needed was the last 3 invoices and now they need all the invoices. I have kids and need a vehicle that I know I don't have to worry if today is the day my vehicle stops working. The 2 invoices that are missing, I have no way to get both invoices because the oil change place closed down and the receipt I got, I threw it away because all it showed is the amount I paid and the name of the place. I can take a screenshot of my bank account to show I went there but they don't accept that. For something so stupid, I have to find a way to pay out of pocket even though I don't have the money to do so. What a joke.

    Do not trust your safety with Endurance! They denied paying for power steering because it was intermittent! Power steering going out is dangerous and can cause accidents with no control and risk your safety and others. We have the supreme packages noted to be their best. Paying almost $180 a month for them to deny coverage of a claim. We were told by their supervisor Sonya if it were her family she would just pay to have it fixed! Really $3,500 cause that’s why we have this policy!

    DO NOT USE THEM!! They will find a way NOT to cover you but the complete opposite!! A family member will be sharing what happened on her page with 200,000 followers. They are crooked!! I have engine failure and they needed documentation for the last 3 oil changes and I'll say the last 8 I have had were from the same place showing I maintain my vehicle! However since I had another shop who has been in business for 40+ years and was able to maintenance my vehicle with brakes and rotors was able to get me in sooner than the original shop I use I let them do my brakes and rotors and they went ahead and did my oil change. While they were at it MY CLAIM WAS DENIED BECAUSE THEY USE A PAPER RECEIPT! They told me and I have it on recording that I could have made it myself! And they needed a PAPER TRAIL. I said, "What do you think a PAPER TRAIL IS!? It's PAPER!!" Do not use them!!

    I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with an Endurance representative. He provided me the quotes and everything sounded good. After speaking with a couple different companies, I was actually most pleased with the information I received from endurance. This is where it goes south. Then lets me know that I have to accept and sign on that initial call and if I didn't, the rates would increase if I called back an hour later. When I told him that I need to receive the email and I would be comparing before making a final decision, which I plan to make within an hour or two, he said something which I couldn't comprehend and then hung up on me. Even as I write this review. I'm still in shock that a company is large and reputable as Endurance would have a representative employee. Such a pressured pitch and if I didn't take the deal in that very moment, I get hung up on. Looks like I won't be doing business with endurance.

    I had CarShield and never used it but dropped it after the class action lawsuit against them. Then I got Endurance for my 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contract for the Select Premier was $3,150 for 60,000 miles or 4 years, making payments of $102 a month. After a few months my car started making a whirring noise while driving. I always got my oil changed at the Nissan dealer and asked them to check it out. They said it was the transfer case and would check with Endurance about coverage. When I tried calling Endurance it was a long time before I finally talked to someone and they said they would send out an inspector to the dealer.

    After a week they said they would cover a USED transfer case, which the dealer naturally wouldn't install. They said they had a shop 25 miles away that would put it in but I would have to have it towed there. I had the dealer install a new one and after the price Endurance was going to pay I ended up $1583 out of pocket. This was not what my contract said so I went to cancel it and Endurance said I had to get it notarized! What a hassle. I did and now I'm writing this review.

    Horrible. Worst customer service. They deny EVERYTHING as “pre-existing” in order to avoid paying. Get a different answer every time you call. Then take 4-6 weeks to process a refund. If I could leave a negative number of stars for a review it would be at least -100.

    So far, so good! Their customer service is awesome! I'll do an update as soon as my maintenance is paid for! Setting up my plan, making a phone payment, and reviewing my policy with an agent has all been positive! There are different phone numbers for different departments. It's very important to read everything and make sure you get approvals ahead of time!

    I had the pleasure of speaking with customer advocate Rodney this morning concerning my contract coverage as well as the initial steps required by me in order to have my car AC repaired. Not only was Rodney pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable, he (Rodney) seemed genuinely concerned. I also had a similar experience with customer advocate Juvuan ** on 06/18/2025.

    My reason for stating this is because up until then I was seriously considering cancelling my contract and was in the process of acquiring legal assistance in obtaining my refund due to two very horrible advocates. Not only were they ill informed they were also rude condescending and at times very disrespectful. I say that to say this "If not for the outstanding attention and concern Endurance would have definitely been seeing different side of me". So to anyone reading this please note that these two advocates saved a VERY DISSATISFIED AND EXTREMELY PO'd contract holder. Thank you Rodney and Juvuan.

    A year and a half ago, I purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger. And I tend to be the kind of person who would buy a vehicle, and as long as it serves my purpose, I keep it. The F-150 that I was getting rid of was 17 years old. I went to my mechanic, a guy that I've been doing business with for about 15 years, and asked him if Endurance is worth it or a waste of time. He said that nowadays it’s worth it. I told him I’m looking into getting Endurance and he said he also has Endurance on his car. So that is reassuring.

    I'm not hard on vehicles. I do a lot of my own basic maintenance, changing oil, changing filters, stuff like that. I have some mechanical skills. But if I go out there and suddenly the engine blows up or something, I'd rather have Endurance to work on it. And it doesn't hurt to have Danica Patrick as your spokesperson, either. I have a lot of respect for her.

    Things went well when I set it up. I got a call from one of the reps, and she gave me the spiel over the phone. But having talked to my mechanic already, I knew what was going on. It was a good experience.

    I'd recommend them to anybody else if they're buying a newer car. My wife bought a brand new 2025, and they talked her into it at the dealership. She got the dealership warranty, so she doesn't need Endurance. But maybe later on, once that warranty goes out, she can switch over to Endurance. So far, everything is good. I got the paperwork and everything that I need.

    I bought my daughter a car, and it’s her first car, so I just wanted to make sure that if anything happened to it, it would be taken care of. It wasn’t that expensive and it offers a great deal of things. It give me peace of mind knowing that if anything happens with my daughter's car, she’s covered, and that’s the best thing.

    The lady that I signed up with was pretty convincing that it was necessary to have, and the last representative I spoke with was awesome. Endurance had a promotion, one of them was key fob replacement, and the other was Endurance will pay up to 150 bucks a tire if she ever needs to get a tire, but they weren’t available anymore. He said he will do his best to make sure that my daughter can also get those features. So, that was pretty decent of him to do that because she might need it in the future. I’ve also recommended Endurance to a friend of mine who is giving her son a car.

Yes there are cheaper options out there but even just weighing the deductible alone made it a no brainer.     I entered this Warranty company for my vehicle and really was ecstatic about knowing I would have a back up. If in fact, my vehicle became disabled. Come to find out my vehicle became disabled. I got it towed to the shop. Once at the shop Endurance be begin asking for me to cover a couple of actually get my coils done once my coils were done. They came back and required another issue for me to get done which was called a teardown which I would have to cover and all the teardown is is to look inside of the transmission to see if it’s dirty, which they called it to see what failed. Out-of-pocket for me would have been $3000 which did not make sense to me because if there’s a failure in your transmission and they said they own inspector out and they inspector can’t figure out what made the transmission fail.

    Then the teardown which to me would be going in disabling a couple of bolts and nuts and then for them to come back and say to me that they don’t cover what it was that caused the transmission to fail. I’m a 60 year old, senior citizen who only has this transportation ticket to and from work and yes, I do work still. It breaks my heart that these warranty companies get their monthly payments. Call if your payment is late and threatened to cancel the policy when they don’t do anything that they are saying that they’re gonna do.

    When you enter into these warranty companies please please be sure and beware because they don’t do what they say they’re going to do. I had the same issue with Car Shield and I canceled them and now I’m gonna cancel Endurance warranty. My vehicle has been in the shop since April and I’m going out running all the way into now July. 90 days without transportation, paying for a rental car that only they said they will pay if they approve the claim so I just want you to know if this is a company that you decide to work with BEWARE.

    Absolute worst experience with any extended warranty company. Do not be fooled by the sales call. It should have been a red flag when they dropped the price and came up with offer after offer to make it a sweet deal. Be sure though, if you do decide to pursue this “extended warranty company” you replace every single part in your vehicle. They cannot understand they are provided extended warranty services to a “used vehicle”. With that being said, membership has been canceled and it was one of the best decisions.
