    I had a bad driver door switch that the dealer said would take three hours labor to change. The seat was to be removed, upholstery taken apart and the new switch replaced, then the seat put back together and reinstalled. Car Shield (American Auto Shield) said they would only pay for the switch and one hour labor. That I would have to pay for the rest of the labor plus my deductible. After three days of going back and forth with A.A.S. by myself and the dealer A.A.S. said they would pay for the repair. All I would have to pay is the deductible. I was going to drop Car Shield but thought I would give you another chance. I know I am only one person and me dropping you would be no big deal to the company. I just hope in the future your company does some research on how long it takes to do a job and better inform your employees.

    I felt this was the most spectacular, helpful, courteous and kind customer service representative they got me re-signed up that I have ever experienced.     So far I've had a good experience with Car Shield. I have 2 vehicles that are older that have had a lot of work done to them to keep them running well, and I was informed to check out car shield to have some protection for future repairs. I planned a trip out of town then set up one of my vehicles with coverage to give me a peace of mind on the road.

    Upon my return I started having transmission issues and was able to park it before anything else happened. I attempted to file a claim with car shield and they had my car towed to my choice of repair shop, but based on me being in my grace period - (5 to 7 days remaining) they did not honor my repair. They did tow my car back for me for free, and I have another technician currently rebuilding my transmission for me. Since then I've enrolled my 2nd vehicle with car shield and I'm able to save my monthly payments using a multi car discount. As of 4/27/21 I still have both vehicles under contract - 1 I'm driving and the other having the transmission rebuilt out of pocket and will be driveable by Friday.

    Hello I'm Bridgette ** currently an American Car Shield Policy holder **. Please see the attached contract that was emailed to me on Mar 17th 2021. I called inquiring on preventive maintenance for free tire rotation and oil change per year several weeks ago. I was told that you didn't offer that type of coverage and I stated, when I purchased the contract it was offered to me. So I requested a copy of my contract, Please see the attached. This is what was emailed to me as my policy I have just requested. I have been paying for a policy for coverage that has no record of existence. I called in just to note I'm taking my car in for an issue which would hopefully speed up the repair time by doing this.

    I stated I was having a problem with my radio screen flash and not working properly and when accelerating it's sluggish accelerating up to higher speed. I have called several times, I've been transferred, hung up on, left messages for a manager to contact me, no response this has been going on for several days trying to get to the right department, actually there may be a problem that needs to be addressed, having difficulties with your transferring to another department. I really don't believe I would have gotten hung up on that many times without being rude.

    Thank GOD for Kiara receiving my phone call today giving me clarity on how this could have possibly happened. When I called in to update my credit card information, and wanted to use my pre-maintenance service that was available to me at start up, but for some reason It's not on my policy, So I ask for a copy of my contract to be sent to me. This is what I received this attachment.

    It has been stated to me that is a dummy contract, why would Jennifer ** send me a dummy contract for an existing policy? Now that I may need this coverage this is not on my policy, so why was it sent to me as my policy? I didn't check for a contract number. It was emailed from American Car Shield, which I personally have not had any problems with, but I have heard some complaints, since I hadn't had any issues. I choose to continue my coverage. Please Address this and do what's right by honoring what you sent to me. On the Addendum Page 13 of 13 of the attached document I can be reached at ** or by email.     I have the Platinum Plan with CarShield. I gave the shop repairing my car my car on Tuesday April 13th. I didn't know until calling about a claim that carshield has to have a inspector come out and look at everything. I don't under the point if you take it to a ASE certified mechanic. It's Monday and the claim was accepted Saturday. I have 3 kids . One child couldn't attend school because my car was in the shop. Sitting. Carshield only offers a loaner when the work is started and only starting at 4 hours+. Luckily I'm working from home right now but what if I had to get to work?! A week without a car is tough. The job to repair everything is only going to take 5 hours so no point in getting a loaner. Loaners should become available if the carshop has to wait on a an inspection, submit the claim, accept the claim then the shop orders the parts. I thought it would be more accommodating.     I filed a claim like a month ago about having my A/C Compressor and any other components needing to be replaced and/or repaired. My mechanic who is ASE certified filed the claim. So when I called Carshield they said that with my policy these items were not covered.     It would be more helpful and much better convenient to everybody, myself as your customer and to your company, to follow up any phone conversation with a confirmed email message with the subject(s) which was discussed. In my case it was the motor and/or the actuator of the Right side sliding door of my van. Also, the motor and/or the actuator of the third row Right window which opens outwardly. Both, door and Window, won't open immediately upon starting the engine and most of the time it takes more than an hour for the sliding Right door to open.

    Received a mailing from CarShield discussing available service plans for my 2015 Mercury. Needless to say, I do not own a 2015 Mercury since that brand ceased to exist years earlier. Have to wonder how a company whose sole mission involves service plans for vehicles could be that out of touch with reality or show that level of inattention to detail. Don’t see how I could trust them.

    Talk to the agent to receive a copy of my CarShield contract. It is to be sent out by mail. When I clicked on the my email, the contract never came up. So I called in. The customer service rep was very nice and indicated a booklet would be sent out to me.

    I called the day before taking our Ford Fusion to the dealership to make sure our problem was covered by our warranty. I was told the purge valve was covered under the engine warranty. Took the car to the Ford dealership and got it fixed and then Carshield told Jordan Ford the problem wasn't covered. I only took it there because I was told it was covered. $640 is what it cost. Terrible.

    On 2 Feb 2021, I agreed to take a CarShield Warranty but changed my mind and cancelled on 3 Feb 2021. I was charged for the initial payment and then again on 2 March I was charged for another payment. I called a few days ago and the customer service man said it was a mistake and the amounts would be refunded. I received a credit back for one amount but not the other. I phoned 17 March and Kaycee said the 2nd one was coming in a check. Thank you.
