My a. bank account was short due to an a utility bill. When I called customer service to ask if they can collect on the following week they were happy to accommodate my request. Unsatisfied with your coverage. I have tried twice for service, but was told it did not cover by my CarShield. I don't want your service for now, if I change my mind later on, I will call but for now please cancel my membership until further notice. I had paid for 3 years of membership. I could pay off what I need on my vehicle by then. I wish it could be cover but it didn't, so please cancel my membership. Thank you for nothing.

Customer service overall was awesome!! Very help agent.. Roadside is left to be desired. Had to pick up Triple AA as the result of the offer. Hopefully this does not happen if I need something fixed.. I am a huge word of mouth and I did everything to hold my breath the night I broke down on the most busiest highways in CT plus paying a 500$ towing fee. Thank god my dad drove 2 hours to assist.

2015 GMC 3500 service dept was very helpful. Repair work was done at a mechanic shop. I never told the shop to call in advance as to I never received a packet as to instructions. The service help told me how to proceed with the claim. Very helpful.

My key would not work in my door so I was locked outside of the car. CarShield immediately sent over Pop-A-Lock. Got me right into my car and I was able to bring my vehicle home that same day. Thank you so very much for being so responsive.

A 1200 part was not covered because it was not part of the cooling system?? It’s a sensor that controls the cooling!! What am I paying for if this type of part isn’t covered?? I’m very dissatisfied with this service.

C/S took care of issue. Had duplicate payments when I sold one car and bought another car. They didn't stop billing on old car when I got new car. Your c/s took care right away. ** old Mercedes. ** new Equinox.

I wanted to know if Drive Shafts for my 2006 Ford Mustang GT Convertible were covered with my plan. They have a bad reputation. My car door would not open on driver's side they refused to pay. All of dealers say they are terrible. False advertising. I will be leaving soon. Going back to Fidelity. They are a joke. All mechanics say they don’t want to pay.

People can not foresee what will cause engine failure nor can they tell what parts or components to fail or not to fail in their vehicles. Percentage wise 85-90% of all engine breakdowns or failures stem from seal and or gasket failure(s). This is the main reason people buy into your service. It is not only a great disappointment to find out your claim has been denied due to unforeseeable or unpredictable circumstances but it also puts people in a tremendous financial burden (especially with everyone trying to recover from the economic effects the COVID-19 pandemic has put on the nation at large) to then have to try to pay for a new means of transportation especially those on set incomes such as Social Security which is the situation in my case. I have a daughter who just recently purchased a contract (at my recommendation) and I'm sure she will seriously reconsider her decision to keep her contract as well as inform friends and other family members of my dilemma as will I.

Refuse to pay for repairs to my vehicle because one part that was not covered failed and it caused the covered part to fail. Read the hand book that I was sent and it said that if the covered part failed and caused a non covered part to fail that they will still not cover the parts that were damaged by the covered part. ANYBODY INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION!!! Retired police officer and I'm contacting an attorney Monday.

My monthly auto pay did not get paid because I had to change debit cards due to fraud on my account. Once contacted Car shied understood and set my payment at another date with no extra fees. Thanks for your assistance.

You could not have been nicer and learned that the people I went to did not even look under the car to see if anything else. I found out that they had 3 things they did not fix. I worked with my insurance co. and they helped. Still they messed us above my my rear view mirror. I had to go back three times to get this fixed and they did not and I told them that I would never go back to them.

Outstanding job in answering questions concerning coverage on my 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and the specific work needing done for the vehicle, the tire light remained on and not knowing what wrong, I took it to the dealership who said they work with Car Shield but had problems getting paid so they will hold the vehicle sometimes up to 2 days to received funds, however the customer service rep told to me how they will get paid within 30 minutes after repairs by supplying the invoice to the claims department and provided phone numbers for the dealership to call.

I wasn't clear as to what will be covered. I was told that a diagnostic report was needed to have the work done. Diagnostic and system programming I had to pay for myself plus the $100 copay. All that your company paid for was the parts which were minimum in cost. If this was because I have not been registered for a year yet then this should have been stressed in the beginning that there is a limit.

I bought my vehicle used from the dealership. It came as is with no warranty. I like to have warranty on my vehicles at all times because repairs are pricey. I called for a quote. My vehicle qualified for the gold coverage plan which is fantastic because it covers everything on a vehicle that you need for your vehicle to run anyway. It covers transmission, engine, starter, alternator, fuel system, a/c... pretty much all the important stuff. I got a fantastic monthly quote and now I feel less stressed because I know CarShield will take care of me if anything happens to my vehicle.
There was a mix up with my VIN number (it was my fault) so when they sent me my contract it showed my wife’s vehicle instead of my truck. I called customer service and she was so helpful and understanding, she did a quick fix and put the correct VIN number with no problem. I have received nothing but fantastic customer service from CarShield since my first initial call. I would highly recommend CarShield to anyone who doesn’t have warranty but needs it or just likes to have it for peace of mind. I told my dad about CarShield and he got his car covered as well. He agrees that this company is awesome! I’ll be using them for years to come!

The way they helped me with my car was the same thing they told me three years ago. I joined Car Shield three years ago and they kept their word on how things what with getting your car fix. At first I thought it was going to be a joke and I was going to be out of a lot of money but I didn’t have to pay a lot just a hundred dollars deductible. You can’t beat that with a bat.

Really easy to work with. Customer service representative was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They were also very courteous and professional. Process was really easy to complete over the phone. The only thing I didn't like was the price increase. I bought a new to me vehicle and never used the policy on my other vehicle and the prices was $33.00 higher per month.

Easy contact, pleasant experience, accurate responses to my questions! I had a concern because initially I was set up for direct draw then I noticed I got a bill, so I called and found out that when I changed my debit card, the auto draw ended, my bad!! New card number given. All is back to normal, thanks to the operator that I spoke with.

Checking on the grace period. Called to find out the requirements regarding the grace period since this information was not provided by the initial representative who took the information for when the policy was purchased. While speaking with the Representative this morning all that information was explained very well. In addition, I upgraded my policy from Powertrane to the next higher level. The mechanics didnt fix the problems I took my truck in for, they kept my truck 3 months to only replace the engine mounts and transmission mounts. So the problems still exist. I expect my issues to be fixed after making such a significant investment in your product.

Since I have been on this journey your people blame the dealer and the dealer blames your people. Customer service far as I'm concerned is very weak. I have asked your people if they could reach out and do more for me now. The dealer is found out what the problem is now. You I have to wait 48 hours for someone to come out and look at my Jeep and I needed a car and what a joke. When it comes to a rental of a Enterprise $90 a day. That's really a break. I'm just a very unhappy customer. Hopefully it'll all work out in the end but these last 3 days has not been very good.

I am on OVERDRAFT of 10 USD on my Bank due to MEPCO mess. They were contacted by phone and email but they still managed to make a mess out of my regular auto debit (since May 2019). May 15 Debit of 218.36. May 16 Debit of 110.09 account goes on Overdraft. May 17 Credit of 218.36. Who is going to pay my OVERDRAFT FES???

I have a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Been using Carshield for seven months now. I have locked my keys in twice. They took care of that. No problem. I had a financial downfall and call to cancel my services and my account was debited anyway and that was money for my car payment which now my car payment is in the rear and that is very unfair because I was not informed of all of the rules that the supervisor explained to me today and it caused me some even more financial problems.

Right front axle needed to be repaired. My vendor Frank's Auto on Main St. in New City does not deal with 3rd party claims so I had to faxed the itemized list to Car Shield for payment!! The axle replacement is the Car Shield warranty.

Service was dispatched and arrived in timely manner. Local providers were occupied so provider was sent from tow 30 min away. Move providers on your call list would be great. I was in Fredericksburg TX and provider in Kerrville TX.

The Lady acted like She was drunk, I never got any info. It was a joke or I was getting ripped off. I had to call back two months later, and that's when I was taken care of. And sent a book on what was covered. The next Lady was very helpful. I am a 100% disabled Vet, and didn't need the ** I was treated.

Car broke down one day after I took it to the shop. CarShield squirmed and said the things that were wrong with my car weren’t covered under my policy. Anyway, car broke down, I tried to call a tow truck. Got disconnected 3 times. Got through, waited 2 1/2 hours in a metropolitan area. Had to pay $23 extra dollars “because it was raining”. Only had the car towed home, 6.1 miles. They make their service sound so good but they don’t actually deliver on their basic promises.

I was told I could get my car covered if it was over 1000,000 miles. It is and I was driving it to work and grocery store and church. Because of the pandemic I am not taking it to courts, (my other job) 1st- I gave the incorrect mileage on a Thursday night from my house. 2nd- they said it was preexisting noise in my engine. 3rd they then said I hadn't waited the long enough waiting period. They kept giving me excuses- they would not refund any funds, THEY TOOK $216.00 and they weren't going to cover me any way I looked at it! They lie on their commercials!

While the customer service aspect of Car Shield is fine, their use of American Auto Shield as the third party administrator for claims processing, etc. is abysmal. American Auto Shield has the absolute worst customer service ever encountered. As long as Car Shield continues to utilize American Auto Shield, I will NEVER recommend purchasing a warranty through them. In fact if anyone asks, I will tell them to run away quickly.

Contacted CarShield 5/12/21. My dealership said my pickup needed the oil pan gasket needed replaced. Customer service at car shield said he didn’t believe my contract covered because I had the gold plan. He said if I had the diamond plan it would be covered. I purchased my plan over the phone and was told that was the best plan for me knowing the truck had 130,000 miles on it. I didn’t even know a diamond plan existed. I purchased a warranty to cover all issues. This repair costs $600. I am very disappointed with the warranty especially when I am paying $184 a month to be told there is no coverage for a $600 issue.

Very disappointed in the tow. $50 extra for a flatbed. Triple A doesn't charge extra for a flatbed. He did not tow or jump us. He bang on the bottom at the starter and it started right up. Furthermore it him forever to get there and he had to call us to find us.

My sales person explained in detail what all was to be covered in the plan for my vehicle. This include my engine, transmission, electrical windows, cooling system, drive axle, air conditioning, alternator, starter just to name a few. Car Shield would not cover a cracked oil pan. Claimed it was a external part. For the money paid more parts need to be included. Also car shield's contract agreement is vague in what it covers. Towing should be a covered option regardless of the claim being covered or not. Again for high price car shield charges.

Overall satisfied but communications needs work. Took van to a dealer, turned out to be a condenser coil. Handled by 3 different people at Car Shield who told 3 different stories to the service department. Got fixed but had to pay out of pocket for an OEM part as dealer won't use aftermarket parts. Still recommend Car Shield, but make sure you have money to cover the deductible or for OEM parts.

I called Car Shield reluctantly to let them know that I had to cancel the extended car warranty policy because my vehicle had been in an accident and it was determined to be "totaled"---therefore, no longer need the Car Shield coverage. My car is in a repair shop and the problem was described to your company about the engine trouble. You are requesting the engine be taken apart to see how the problem happened. If the engine is taken apart and you are not satisfied of the reason the engine is apart and as the owner I will be responsible to put it back together. The repair shop already described what the problem was. I have the premium policy to cover the engine. This seems to be misleading of your advertising. I am very disappointed.

When I first called get the CarShield policy, I was not certain of the actual mileage on the car. I gave an amount of 40 thousand plus an estimate of a few miles. My call this time was to correct the actual mileage on the car (40,280) on which the additional 500 mile basis for activation of the policy will be established (plus 20 days).

CarShield worked with the dealership to solve covered parts issues. There was a information gap (communications) that the dealership did not convey to CarShield for proper service repair. Watch out for this. Not all parts were going to be covered due to the miscommunication of needed repairs. So please be sure both parties are understanding what took place an the damages caused by other failed parts so that all repairs can be made correctly.

The car a 2013 Nissan Murano was kept at the Nissan dealership for 3 days and I was not give a car rental which I desperately needed to get to work. Otherwise the job done in replacing the radiator was excellent. No complaints there.

I woke up in the morning only to realize My car wouldn’t start or turn on. I called Carshield, great representative & service. She made sure I got immediate roadside assistance, & got my car back on the road the very next day, with no hassle & no debate. I recommend carshield to everybody. Thank you carshield.

The customer services representatives provided world class services and truly enhanced my Car Shield experience. They understood the Car Shield products and understood my problem. They recommended the appropriate corrective action and or car shield fix. Ultimately, they got me to the right place. I left the call happy about my decision to purchase car shield..

I was a happy customer, although I did not have any claim as yet to judge my experience with CarShield coverages. My experiences with the representatives during my initial signing up with the plan were pleasant and courteous. I plan to cover the car with CarShield when the extended warranty expires in 2023.

Extremely helpful and professional. Would recommend to my friends to CarShield. Great to have this extra coverage on my vehicle. I don’t have an extended warranty on my vehicle, therefore I chose CarShield. Heard a lot of great things about the company and very satisfied to this point.

I had to call Car Shield today with questions at customer service. My service rep was Jessica, and she was very kind sympathetic and knowledgeable. Not to mention very patient with me. I hope to be a patient with carshield for many years to come.

I had to switch credit card numbers. I had some fraudulent charges on my old card so I had to get a new card and I forgot to call and give you the new card number. Thank you for reminding me and I am sorry I forgot and being very patient with me. Thank you.

Great customer service. The representative was great on the phone and was very helpful. The representative was knowledgeable and took care of the account very promptly. I am looking forward to work with Car shield in the future. I am very satisfied with the service that Car shield has provided.

We still need to review a Term contract. I would like a call back from Brittany. Very helpful but we didn't finish setting up contract. Please have her call me direct. I have called repeatedly and spent numerous hours on the phone to clear up an issue with a claim that is listed as "inactive" from August 2018. Each time I call, I get a different person and a different answer! The problem is the work was authorized at Michel Tires, but I ended up going to Jake Sweeney instead. You paid the claim for Jake Sweeney, but the other claim was never removed, so it is affecting my pro-rated amount to go towards my contract on my new vehicle. I don't understand why it's taken so long (since March 22) to get this resolved! Very unhappy with CarShield's handling of this matter!!!

Called to cancel contract because I am trading in my vehicle. The process was easy and I have a refund coming. I wasn't sure what to expect and was very smooth. I think the lady in customer service that I talked to was Stevie and she was super.
