    There appears to an issue with Service Reps getting transferred over to Claims with you don't already have their number. I have it now so I will adjust. May not be a bad idea to get that number out members to pass along to Service Reps to lessen the pain of claim follow-ups.

    When calling to set up my account I had no problem. When I called to cancel, the customer service representative refused to cancel my policy. He continually tried to tell me I needed it. And when I was finally fed up with his disrespect and disrespectful behavior I reacted to it and hung up. I then called back, received a different cust. service rep and had minimal issue. However I continue to receive calls and emails daily about making payments. I just received another call not 15 minutes ago. Horrible process.

    I bought a used car for my daughter. I decided to buy the monthly protection from Car Shield. Several local mechanics had heard of it and said they were legitimate. I was very lucky I bought the policy bc it turned out the vehicle had a weak transmission and it went out while my daughter was driving and had only put a couple thousand miles on it. It took almost a month but that was due to some negotiating over the details of the contract between the dealership and Car Shield. In the end it only cost me the diagnosis fee of 100.00 and about 40.00 for some bolts, the rest was all covered by my warranty with Car Shield. The repair would have cost me over 5000.00 without it!! I didn't mind the time it took it was worth it. It runs great too. :) Thank You Car Shield!!!

    Unbelievable, Almost two weeks and numerous conversations with customer service. My car is still sitting at the car dealer to be fixed. From day one, nothing offered in this policy was delivered. They tell you certain information but, the process moves very slow. On day one, I was told that this policy was not accepted. At Dealer, I asked why! They said that CarShield doesn't pay and they move very slow. As it turns out. They were right. I've been taking public transportation for two weeks and they never updated me on the process. Only when I spoke with customer service Numerous times did they tell me that each process was done in 24 to 48 hours. Two weeks later, I'm still without a car. (Never again).

    Do not get car warranty insurance. They claim to cover lubricated engine parts yet refused to pay for a faulty turbo charger unit at $3300 covered in their own destination of the warranty. Then made repeated promises to cover parts and then declined again. Customer service and supervisors make assurances and then the next customer service agent contradicts the already made coverage commitments again. I was on the phone daily for 14 weeks. Bad coverage, bad customer service. Don't get CarShield.

I waited 45 minutes, no text, no phone calls. I finally called car shield and the woman told me it was still in the still trying to locate someone. I told her to cancel my request.     I'm a senior with a calling plan I have to pay for when I get a call. Car Shield won't stop calling!!! I was thinking about buying a car and doing research on what an extended warranty would cost. First, you can't get even an estimate without putting in your phone number. I had told him that Car Shield was a good company and he told each to their own. I did not need to hear that from him I am a retired Master Mechanic. You back the people you work for. So I called and talked to Kaylee and she told me she would take care of it and call Groesbeck Car Care. But she failed to do so.

    Original Review: I called customer service about engine light being on. Kayla said to take my truck to the dealer 1/2 mile away with no problem. I think CarShield is the only coverage to have on any of your cars and trucks. I had heard that they were great, but when I called the gentleman was very helpful and very knowledgeable and told me the the best program to go with.

    I am a fairly new customer to CarShield, I originally registered a 2008 smart car with a great rate, but had many questions originally I could not have answered as a Canadian customer and I wanted the product but it seemed as I could not use it where I was nor did people I talk to know about it. I now see the App provides these answers I was asking and am indeed in a area that’s covered and has many choices for garages.     CarShield currently doesn't allow one account to have multiple vehicles. The MEPCO system will only allow a single email address that can only be used with one account. So if you have multiple vehicles, you need to have multiple email addresses, which is just ridiculous. A change needs to be made in either CarShield to allow multiple vehicles per account OR in MEPCO to allow one email address to be associated with multiple accounts.     I do not usually have issues with CarShield. This last go-round, however, I did encounter some issues (first being technical as they could not locate my account - which caused quite a bit of irritation on my end) and second being timing of inspection. Beyond the belated inspection which then resulted in the dealership having my car for two weeks, any time I did have to speak with a representative, they were very patient and kind. They explained why inspections would take longer - which eased some concern, but not much.     I have had a very traumatic experience working with CarShield/Auto Shield! First of I was congratulated on being a Hero serving and working during the Covid and really appreciated. I got a discount for Heroes. Because of me working as a Health Care provider. And the sales pitch was extraordinary! I even placed 2 vehicles on the warranty. I must tell everyone that it took me a month to even begin to write this review because I am unmotivated and depressed because of the circumstances of life during the Covid period. So dealing 3 months with a nonsense rude company didn’t help my situation. Because my car is still in the shop for 3 months! I thought having a plan like this was to have my back when I needed them. But I was let down. Being a Nurse has been draining mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was sold a Lemon of a warranty. I had no one to have my back when I needed help!

    My car has been in a repair shop since May 15, 2021! I only had my car for one year prior to my car having mechanical issues. I purchased this warranty because I am still paying for this car. I recently got a divorce and I filed Chapter 13. So my vehicle was included in the plan. I can’t drive my car! I haven’t driven it for 3 months! The first few weeks of reporting the breakdown to the Warranty company was a disaster. The mechanic could not get in touch with a live person to even speak to anyone in the Claims department.

    Then when I get in touch with the Customer Service I was given the runaround. I was placed on hold for more than an hour. The mechanic shop is a very humble gentleman from Honduras. He is an exceptional mechanic and a neighborhood trustworthy mechanic for families and younger adults who have difficulty paying their bill when he’s complete the job. The gentleman will let you make payments on very expensive work. The warranty company disrespected this gentleman because of his Native tongue. They made up a name in their notes. Jerry is not hard to say. I understand him very well. So that’s where it went wrong. The profound miscommunication between the Customer service and the long untimely unprofessional way of not returning calls or any feedback or follow up.

    The second month I was still trying to have some faith In this company. Mind you my car is still sitting at this lot broke down. (I have had previous car warranties in the past, and it was never an issue to fix a mechanical breakdown!) Btw.. Ice T is being misrepresented in speaking for a low down company as Car Shield/ AutoShield)! So my car still broken and I finally speak to someone in the Claims department.. His tone toward me was very authoritative and rude. (I communicate with Doctors and Therapist for a living so I can articulate my idea to any live being.!) I was told to provide repair bills and a tow bill and oil change receipts! I asked if I could possibly be a case by case repair because of my recent divorce and and my filing Chapter 13! I informed these people that it is against the law for me to speak to my creditors.

    The place I bought my car provide free oil changes. But I can’t talk to them. It’s against the law! And I surely was not going to involve my lawyer. Because I would have to pay him. If he calls me or write me a letter it’s a fee for his time! I tried telling Thea people that. I yelled telling these people that! Nobody listened to me. So the 2nd month 1/2 of my car being broke down with no one communicating with the mechanic because they had his name wrong! I complain to a manager and I asked for some results. She returned my call. Her voice was very pleasant and comforting. So her solution was to give me a discount. $20 off my monthly payment and I’ve never heard a word from her again! The “Reach out” baloney she blew up my behind.

    The third month every one was on the same page. The being on hold for more than an hour. The customer rep reading off the items I need to provide. And another discount.. Because they really don’t want me not to go without coverage. So I was given another $10 discount because I have two cars under the warranty. So I never got any results. My car is not repaired because the mechanic need money to buy the part for the car. So basically I got no results from anyone. Just my car sitting in a shop for more than 45 days!

    I had no motivation, no drive, no nothing to write this. Because I’m disgusted I got some motivation and typed this extremely long review! Today I did my research and bought a different car warranty. I pray that my car will be repaired in a timely fashion. And that I never will have to experience the disrespect and disregard of someone’s trust and robbing me of my hard earned money! This Hero got Zero from Car Shield! Cheers!
