Submitted new monthly payment instrument. Instrument previously used became exhausted and had to be replaced with a new one. Transaction was successfully completed and all parties were satisfied. Understanding the individual was difficult and burdensome most of the time. I am an American-speaking ** of 74 years and had to ask for clarification of what was said or conveyed to me. This individual should not be reprimanded; but, should be trained in a different method or given more training.

I took the Fiat to my mechanic today for the check engine light. He said my policy does not include engine repair. I have according to my papers, the Gold Policy which is supposed to cover everything. I guess I should have gone with Endurance that keeps calling my house. Chrystal
Sorry to hear there may have been confusion about your coverage. Our coverage plans vary depending on the age and mileage of the vehicle. Therefore, our sales agents place you into the highest level of coverage your vehicle qualifies for at the best rates. You were given the absolute highest level of coverage that your vehicle qualifies for nationwide, it just doesn't cover absolutely everything on the vehicle. It is still a great coverage that covers all of your major powertrain components, your AC, fuel system, radiator, water pump and basic electrical! Give us a call sometime and we can go over your policy and answer any questions you have.

My experience with CarShield was negative. Due to the information on your commercials that prompted me as a female to sign up for your service. the commercial does not state that the systems have to be failed: in order for you to pay a claim. The lovely Vivica A. Fox saying, "As a woman you really need this service." My charge was $2100 and I still have to pay you $110.12 a month. That is not saving me thousands of dollars.
We're sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, we show that what your shop called in was the installation of an idler pulley skim for the betterment of the vehicle. This was not a mechanical breakdown, so it was not eligible for coverage. The contract does explain this exclusion of coverage. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to give us a call.

I was assured my problems are covered under my plan. I requested pick- up and delivery of the vehicle which has been arranged for me. I have not had the above problems before and, although the car is nearly 11 years old, the mileage is still low, so it is not time yet to trade it in.

I canceled both of my contracts on 1/11/23 just 4 days after setting them up. Next thing I know they have taken out 2 payments out of my account for 1 of my vehicles. When I called Car Shield they denied taking out the payments. The payments have all of their information when they make them so the bank knows where they come from and they still have the nerve to play stupid and deny everything. I called Mepco their financial company they use. They said they have not run any payments that they must have come straight from Car Shield office. I have the email they sent me after the phone call on the 11th where I canceled everything so now I guess I will have to fight them to get my money back. I'm going to probably have to turn this over to a lawyer.
We're sorry that you feel this way, however, we can assure you, no additional money was taken from you after cancellation. You may be seeing the credits that went back into your account. We show that on the 2007 Ford Focus, your down payment was refunded to you on 1/12/23 at 8:21am and on your 2009 Ford F150, your down payment was refunded to you on 1/19/23 at 7:00am. If these are the dates and times you are seeing for these "charges" then they are not actually charges, but the credits back into your account. We advise calling and speaking with your bank.

Keep up the great work. Customer care was above and beyond what I normally get on phone calls to other companies' customer service line. I believe your co. Must invest in employee training. Most companies lack in the area of emp. training. Keep it up.

My 2nd rep Amanda really saved me from canceling with Car Shield. I called at 8:41 am on Fri. to get my car towed to my mechanic in Rockville, MD., the rep got me a tow (TF Towing & Recovery LLC) & said they would be there in 11/2 hours. When they didn't show up after 12 pm, I called them - the first time no one answered. Then around 12:40 they answered & said they were 15mins away. They never arrived. I called Car shield back at 2:30 pm to ask about the tow comp and find out what was happening. Amanda was the rep & she understood my frustration and promised to find a tow company that would actually show up. She said that the TF said they couldn't tow my car but didn't know they had to tell you (Car Shield) nor me the client. Amanda ordered Nardo's towing & Recovery and for my inconvenience waived the $59 overage ($125) fee I would have paid. Nardo's did arrive within the time slot and towed my car.

I am new to CarShield, had a question regarding the 20 day/500 mile or 40 day/250 service exclusion. I was told that if I do not reach 500 miles in 20 days the 40 day/250 mile automatically kicks in. We do not drive that much.

After some serious cold weather, my truck wouldn’t start. Got a jump and drove all over town. 2 days later it wouldn’t start. After three attempts it started. Drove several feet & engine stopped. Called Car Shield & explained the problem sounded like the alternator. They notified a garage for me to go to and then a tow company to get there. The emergency services associate was great. She was professional, courteous & friendly to a point that she talked to me like a part of my family to a point where I was no longer stressed or upset with my situation. Now that is what I call service.

Your office filled and submitted the claim so we didn't have more stress, they even called The Hampton Inn Garden Suits in mentor Ohio Reynolds Rd. property and faxed the information needed to reserve and pay for 4 days and 3 nights so we can get home safely. Requested update on claim **. Customer service gave the updaters information I requested. I was informed that they needed a copy of the paid towing bill. The invoice was emailed to them. They are still waiting for a written estimate from the transmission company.

Car wouldn’t start so I call CarShield Roadside Assistance and the tow truck driver kept calling me with a delay for up to 3 hours. CarShield advise once the car is towed I was responsible for finding my way home. The tow truck driver finally showed up after 3 hours and was told that my car insurance was towing the vehicle because I was not sure if CarShield towing would ever show up. Not to mention none of the services that was needed for the vehicle was covered under the warranty.
We're sorry to hear that roadside took so long. Unfortunately, the towing that is dispatched are all independently owned towing companies in your specific area. Our Roadside department is just in charge of helping you find one and paying up to the amount designated in your contract for the tow, so you don't have to. Next time, give us a call back so we can get you set up with a different tow. As far as what was called in for the claim, we show that all you needed was a battery, which is normal routine maintenance and not eligible for coverage under any of our policies and lower ball joints which are just parts not listed for coverage under your contract. Hopefully, we can help you on the next one!

Couldn't read my contract until 4 months afterwards, requested 5 times. Online I couldn't read not much? Then hearing horror story from customers that needed their cars fixed, sham all that cash for ADs, and retired Stars, saying "Yeah my CarShield save me." Ha! Ha! 4000.00 dollars, maybe pay for the AD, Any Stars got CarShield. Hell No.

I initially called to cancel the coverage on my Elantra as I sold it to my daughter to help her get a dependable vehicle for work and taking our granddaughter to school, etc... I would recommend CarShield for the knowledge of the intake personnel and how they conduct themselves while explaining how CarShield can save money while owning an automobile. I have not use the warranty service but may have additional comments if and when I have to use it.

After purchasing an extended warranty only 3 days prior, as a result of purchasing my car 2 days prior to that, I was involved in a an accident which has totaled my car. As I've been considering a new car (for the 2nd time in less than a week), I was hoping to determine the cost of a warranty for each of the cars I was considering purchasing and using that cost combined with other factors to help make my decision easier.
I called in and spoke to Travon who was very helpful, fast, courteous, efficient, and patient. He allowed me to provide two separate VINs and quoted each so I could make a more informed decision on this large purchase of a car. It took me a couple minutes to identify the VIN for one of the cars and Travon was patient, helpful, and courteous beyond compare. I would highly recommend working with Travon and Car Shield and would even recommend that Travon train others on his level of service and support, given how great he was. Representative was very helping helping me make my payment. Was wondering if you offer routine maintenance coverage as well such as oil changes tune ups brake pads and rotors, etc. Does rental car coverage begin at the time of breakdown or when the car starts being repaired?
We do apologize, however, we do not offer any sort of maintenance plan. Those are usually only offered by the dealership. Rental car coverage begins when the repair facility starts repairing the vehicle, so it is extremely important for the shop to call as soon as possible with a diagnostic and cause of failure so that we can review and approve the claim before they begin the work. Very bad misrepresentation of contract, doesn’t pay, and poor customer service. Very bad misrepresentation of the contract. They do not pay for anything but cheap parts if they do, twice they refused to pay for my car's work, very bad customer service, rude, doesn’t care if you cancel your contract which right there says a lot. Refuses to let me talk to supervisors. They steal your money and don’t pay when you need it …. Scammers.
They will reply and lie, they have a list that says just exhaust. They don't list what is and not covered, their representative assured me everything was covered, he lied. The company is trying to reply and say otherwise, poor customer service, nasty people, refused refund, they won't pay for your costs, beware. They are liars! CALL DEALERSHIPS AND MECHANICS AND ASK OPINIONS BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We went over as much information as time allowed on the original sales phone call and provided you with a full 30-day money-back guarantee review period to read through your contract to see the listed covered components and call us back with any questions you may have had. We do apologize that you had a breakdown on a part that was not listed for coverage, but you had all of your contract information in plenty of time to know that it would not be eligible for coverage. Requested brake and tire services, but they were denied. I was told my requests were maintenance issues. Yet, with one year to go before my contract expires an agent called about renewal of my current contract. Makes me wonder, is it concern about me or CS's bottom line?

I called your company because I learned that my account was not paid due to the fact that I forgot to tell your company that my account was compromised so the bank locked my card. I called and made the proper arrangement made a payment on my Ram and I also I thought in my right mind that the jeep was also going to be covered. Well now I learned that the jeep was not covered so I will be calling in the morning sometimes after 11 o’clock to figure out what the problem is and also when I made the payment for the ram they wrote back to me and said payment went through for an Infiniti. I don’t own an Infiniti of me advise that if this doesn’t get solved and keep making errors on my account professionally, I don’t want anything to do with your company. I will close the account OK so this is it this is my last chance your last chance as well. Please do not call until after 11 o’clock you will not. I say again you will not get to speak to me before that.

Why describe. You guys don't respond anyway. I have tried numerous times to contact Felipe C (your Agent in charge of claim) by phone at 1.800.531.1925 ext. ** and had to leave messages tagged urgent, with no response. CS did not pay for all necessary and associated parts/labor on my car. My out of pocket expenses were $665.85. Can somebody call me?

Auto Nation Nissan service department replaced the ignition coil and active grill air shutter. I told the Nissan service advisor that I want to use my Car Shield warranty for the repair work. The service advisor called Car Shield. The repairs work was paid by Car Shield and I got my car and I drove home thanks to CarShield.

For the most part the service provided is ok except for the part about not using original parts, which is not stated anywhere, the company has upgraded and let go some companies under their umbrella which is why I stayed with them. I also think they should cover bolts and washers; they are not the same as screws.
It does state in your contract that claims can replace parts with new, used, remanufactured parts of like kind and quality. We also guarantee our parts for the life of the contract. Bolts and washers are items that should not need to be replaced, they can be moved from the old unit to the new one most of the time, and that's why they are not covered. You didn't cover **, you explanation was **. Wouldn't recommend you to my dog, let alone my worst enemy. You can stick this company where the sun don't shine. When I was sold this coverage I was told it would cover a water pump and components, wrong. Again, fuel injectors are part of the engine but you don't cover that either. What good are you to someone like me when I'm this far away from home?

First, CarShield has a good product at a decent price, however, read and understand your contract and don’t give up if your claim is initially denied. Warning, it’s likely ALL claims will be initially denied, prepare for a battle that you WILL win. I suspect Car Shield saves a lot of money by ripping off customers that accept No as an answer or the customer doesn’t want to argue for their benefit. Like many Insurance and Warranty companies this appears to be their business model?!? Also worst customer service experience ever!!! The garage and I spent a total of 7 calls and over 4 hours in the phone to initiate and process the claim! Here’s my recent experience in December 2022.
This entire claim was a needless battle and a waste of hours on the phone! I’ve been a customer for almost a years and I’ve had NO claims. This month (December) I had an oil leak, I took it to the car-shield recommended garage and had it diagnosed. The issue was a bad oil cooler, I called car shield and verified coverage and was informed the issue is covered. I proceeded to schedule the repair.
I took the vehicle in 5 days later and left it with the garage. An hour later the garage called me and stated that Car Shield said my policy did not cover the repair. The case was closed. Once I was informed I went to the garage and called Car Shield. After several prompts I finally got an agent. After 30 minutes on the phone it was determined, like the first call, the repair WAS covered. I held the agent on the phone and went to the desk for an open call with the technician. We were passed to an Car Shield adjuster. After another 10 minutes the adjuster stated the repair was authorized, just hang up, redial the SAME number and enter the queue. I said, "You have me, yourself and the mechanic on the phone, let’s do it now." He said we have to dial back and wait our turn In the queue. After almost an hour on the phone I think we waited long enough, but we did as advised.
The mechanic called back, went through a multitude of prompts just to wait in the queue. He finally got an agent and the mechanic was interrogated for almost another hour on the claim, it was ultimately approved but a rental was denied as was an oil change. I called back AGAIN, I was told the repair time was 1.7 hours so a rental is not authorized and the contract specifically states oil changes are normal maintenance and it was not covered. We debated for another 15 minutes and she kept stating the contract was specific and no exceptions would be made. My argument was simple, THIS IS NOT AN OIL CHANGE! I don’t need an oil change, it was done less than 1000 miles ago. In this case they have to drain the oil to make the repair. As a result, replacing the oil is an integral part of the repair, it’s NOT an oil change! I was then put on hold while she talked to a supervisor.
She came back and said, the supervisor said oil changes are not covered. I asked to speak with the supervisor. She put me on hold again then came back and said he’s not taking calls. REALY!!! If he’s the decision maker he needs to answer to the customer! I went another round with the agent. I quoted para D9 from the contract “LUBRICANTS, COOLANTS AND FLUIDS UNLESS REQUIRED IN CONNECTION WITH A COVERED REPAIR”! She ultimately said it’s the garages fault. The quote states change not replacement. I said fine, I’ll have them change one word so the service is completed. She then said, but we aren’t going to replace all the oil, only what’s drained off. Well to make the repair, they need to DRAIN all the oil! The next day I got another call stating the claim was approved I could schedule the repair and ultimately only paid my 100$ deductible. Worst Customer Service Ever!

We are solely the marketer/seller of the contract and do not have power or authority over claims, claims processes or claims decisions. We do show that the claim was called in and authorized the same day for the eligible items. We do apologize, but you are correct when you state that no rental was authorized because your contract does state that the repair must be 4 hours worth of labor or more to qualify for rental. Company does not want to pay for anything, and when they don't cover a part they won't cover diagnostics either. How do you know what wrong without checking. This Company should not be in business, my car needs a $400 part, it's not covered because of the word exhaust os in its name but the actuator is covered, talked to 5 different customer service people. 1 out of 5 was on my side but I lost.

My power steering light came on unexpectedly and I lost power steering. Ultimately, the battery light came on. I drove to dealer who, after diagnostics, said the battery and alternator had to be replaced. It was Saturday morning before New Year's and I had to get home to get medication. I believe CarShield screwed me over on car rental.. My car was in the shop from Wednesday till Monday.. I rented a car then was told I wasn’t eligible for reimbursement.. Would never recommend car shield to anyone…When I signed up car rental was an important factor for choosing car shield.

Some parts of the coverage are not available. Which still can be costly. Everything should be covered under the hood, all electrical parts and seal, driver module and low-pressure fuel sensor. I would also like to point out that the last two times I tried using CarShield, the request was disapproved. It is unfair to be with a company for service and never get approval for small items on a vehicle. There should be some type of consideration on parts.

When you have a claim you always find a way not to pay. Always saying something else caused it. When someone gets a plan you should explain what covered under the headings. When I called about a couple of things they said they were covered then the repair shop called and they said they weren’t. A rip off taking people's money. Totally wrong.

I was hoping coverage would be a lot better. 70.00 a month and your company only pays very little. I thought after looking at the commercials Car Shield would pay more, I have had different issues with very little results and the dealership won't take Car Shield. My grandson bought a GMC Sierra and it ended up having to have the transmission replaced. Car Shield took care of a lot of the cost and he paid a fraction of the bill. There's no order number but the issue was that an additional $69.99 was withdrawn from my checking account accidentally, I was told by a young lady who works with the company. I rate it as is because of the error.

I retired a couple of years ago and decided I wouldn't buy another car for awhile. I have a Grand Cherokee Jeep that has served me well. Saw all the commercials about how wonderful CarShield is. No problems until October of this year. Problem with air condition, I have the Gold plan and felt I was in good shape, WRONG. First, the Jeep dealership where I get all my routine maintenance done does not take Carshield? I called Carshield and got a list of shops in my area. Everyone I tried had a problem with the amount of money Carshield was going to pay. Biggest problem carshield wanted to ship the part to be used, no shop in my area would accept shipped in parts.
I chose Pep Boys, they are well known and accepts Carshield, so I just paid out of pocket to fix this. Next problem I had a tiny oil leak. It had a cracked Oil Cooler Housing, they listed the part at $530. Carshield would only pay $150 on the part and not much on labor. After it was all said and done my total repair was $1226.13 total for me to pay was $841.52. I think it would be cheaper for me to keep my $150 premium each month and save it for future repairs. So needless to say I will cancel this policy. I feel as though I have gotten the "Run Around" each time I have tried to use Carshield.
Sorry, you’re having trouble finding a local repair shop that accepts our coverage. Some shops refuse to take our coverage, however, it is not for the reasons you may think. Some shops refuse to take any outside coverage because they want to be in charge of their own prices. There is a nationally recognized labor guide that tells repair facilities what to charge for what services and things like that. But it's up to each individual shop whether or not they want to follow it. With coverage like ours, we keep shops from overcharging our customers and shops don't always like that. We’re happy to stand on our record of servicing over 2 million customers over our 17 years in business. Not to mention our claims department pays out over $5 million in claims every month. If you need help finding other shops in your area, please give us a call. That is unfortunate and sorry we couldn't help more. We can only cover the parts listed on your policy, and we can only pay the amounts verified per nationally recognized labor guides. Hopefully, we can help with your next repair.

Dell was very helpful and knowledgeable when I called to cancel my contract. I didn't understand initially, that the coverage was for breakdowns only, so after reading the contract booklet twice, I was alarmed when I realized it doesn't cover regular service. I explained to Dell that I generally try to be proactive with my vehicle maintenance, so had decided to cancel the contract and just put the same money aside myself for any repairs I might need in the future. Dell helped me to appreciate the value of breakdown coverage, so I kept my contract in force.

Took GMC to local GMC Dealer for front end noise. Dealer found issue with power steering pump and hoses. Also found pinion seal leak and pan gasket leak. GMC Sevice called Car Shied for repair authorization. Authorization given repairs Made. Car Shield called me to advise of authorization and asked if there was anything else they could do. I purchased my Powertrain Gold Warranty from CarShield in October, 2020. My head gasket is blown and several other major components to the engine is not operating at 100% on my engine. CarShield denied my claim and left me stuck with approximately $8,000 in repairs too handle out of my pocket. Please do not purchase a warranty from them. They are a complete scam and they play games with the contract and come up with nonvalid reasons as to why they deny the claim. I would not recommend or trust them ever again. The auto repair shop where I took my 2015 Jeep Wrangler, provided CarShield with a detailed report and they still denied my claim & has not even came out too see or inspect my vehicle. They do not stand by warranty and are false advertising to be one of the best car warranty companies around. They are awful.

Due to my past issues with my 2003 Mustang, my repairs were minor that it is not covered under my contract. Therefore, I was willing to cancel my contract and just pay out of pocket, since I am already doing that. My payment of 129.00 will be used by me since I am already paying that amount.

I subscribe monthly to your consumer affairs magazine and try to read and keep up to date on products, and I have relied heavily on your ratings until now. I cannot believe consumer affairs gave these RIP-OFF car warranties good ratings, or let these fake reviews fool people. The FINE print in all these car warranties is where they get you. You have a repair that is going to cost thousand dollars or more, they (all of them) will try to haggle every way in the book to get out of paying for it, is that what the customer wants to deal with, not me. I learned my lesson.
A refund, they don't give refunds. They give you a pro-rated amount of what they want to give you. I can't believe they have "ice tea" on tv advertising these scam artists. It's a damn shame what America has become and our federal government just lets this happen to hardworking American citizens. Do me a favor and do a review on timeshare companies that make millions a year doing the same thing. I personally think these companies pay Consumer Affairs to give them good fake ratings and if the ratings are bad, no dollars.

My first time putting in a claim with CarShield and it was a terrible experience. Customer service just told me the work that needed to be done on vehicle would be cover, she did not go over any instructions, like what the process or who do I call if I have any questions. Then when I took my vehicle to my car dealership, I had to wait several hours because of the lack of communication and challenges the car dealership had getting a hold of a CarShield representative and the process of taking picture. The whole experience was unbelievably BAD. Then after waiting four hours, I find out CarShield was only paying five hundred dollars of my $1.400.00 bill. It would not have been bad if someone would have gone over the process so I could be prepared.

It’s going on 2 weeks and no CarShield rep has came to address or evaluate the problem. CarShield has no problem taking money out my account every month on time though. I’m ready to cancel my account. I feel that all I’ve have done is wasted my money and time.

Starter went out on truck. Could not move truck or start. Great service by all. Had to have truck towed to dealer for repairs. They call CarShield and took care of all the paper work, this was a blessing as I had to be at work, They also provided me with a free loaner car until my truck was completed.

Carshield did not pay the claim even though they sent a CS mech representative out and told my ACS mechanic to do the work. 6 month of calls and still nothing. I have called Nicole in CUSTOMER SERVICE and she said the rep from AmericanAuto will call within 48 hours (19 Dec 22). Still nothing. American auto pays the claims for Carshield.
We do apologize, however, we do not see any claims filed recently. The last claim we show is from 6/30/21. Please give us a call so that we can assist you further.

Dealer stated adjuster would not fix moon roof. I requested for adjuster to contact me with the reason. The car has never been in an accident or damaged. I bought the best coverage you offer. I asked about electronics and moon roof specifically. You did approve electronic claim but not moon roof claim. I want an explanation other than not covered!!

No consistency in auto bill, and the representative continue to call even when payment is made. My financial institution will only draft on the date I specified, and not before that date. CarShield should monitor these types of things more carefully.

Was getting very concerned. The last two payments I've tried to make never even got put into the system. So November and December's payment look like they were late. Finally got a hold of someone and they actually put them through then I turned around and called the bank to make sure that they were went through. Hope this does not happen again. Transfer case and differential problems diagnosed by dealership late during the week of December 5th. The service advisor waited on hold for more than 30 minutes on Monday, 12/12/22. Finally was able to reach someone in Car Shield customer service & initiate the claim later ensuring that week. Documents were requested by the adjuster and I submitted those documents on 12/16/22 and again on 12/19//22 after they were “lost.” Now it has been 2 weeks since the dealer tried initiating the claim and there still has been no tangible progress. I have been without my vehicle for THREE (3) weeks now!!! I'm very frustrated and disappointed so far, but am hoping that this experience will have a good ending with my vehicle being repaired so that my final review can be positive.

I called to get a quote, they started at 139 per month and dropped to 99 per month for their Gold coverage. I was interested, but the high pressure made me get cold feet. I am shopping for a car warranty and might go with this CarShield, but the pressure to sign immediately really turned me off. Also, I have no way of calling back and getting the same salesman whose name was Brett, if I did want to purchase it.

When CarShield is not accepted at a prominent car dealership in Houston TX. Then everyone needs to stay away from Car Shield, and/or cancel their policy and go somewhere else. The car dealership service dept. said that they would not accept Car Shield, or anything with "Shield" in its name, because Car Shield does not pay their claims. Do not buy Car Shield, it is a waste of money and a false sense of security!

I was seeking information on logging into Mepco, as the login credentials given to me did not work. It has been resolved to my satisfaction. Everyone I talked to at CarShield and Mepco were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I am now able to use the Mepco website.

Had a question on last payment. The agent told me my last payment was taken on 11/14/2022. The agent was very helpful to let me know that I was all paid up. I have not had to use Car Shield as of yet for any repairs on my truck.

Why did I have to pay for towing? I thought Car Shield would pay for that! I Pay monthly! Now I have to pay for towing on top of that! I will probably cancel this if this is how it works. Not a great deal!
You shouldn't have had to pay for towing unless it went over the amount allotted in your contract. Please give us a call at your earliest convenience so that we can assist you with towing reimbursement.

Price is excellent! Especially since our corrupt lying president Biden has created & caused inflation INTENTIONALLY. My truck payment is $700 a month so under $100 for complete coverage is a blessing and unheard of! I've had other warranties and this is as good if not better than the one you get when you buy a new vehicle and only a $100 dollar deductible!

I had been with Carshield for over 5 years, and I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone. I had 4 friends who were looking to sign up and I immediately directed them to another vendor. Car Shield is a FRAUDULENT company who covers "NOTHING" when the time comes for coverage. I have posted on my Facebook page and on social media to all of my 61,000 followers to never trust or open a policy with you guys !! 0 stars from me, and my friends value my opinion on ALL issues! YOU ARE CROOKS!
We're sorry to hear that. The level of coverage that your vehicle qualified for is based on the year, make, model, and especially the mileage of the vehicle at the time you purchase the policy. Based on these factors, your vehicle was given the Gold level of protection which covers all of the major powertrain components as well as some of the basic electrical items. We show your most recent claim was denied because the component that broke down was just not a part listed for coverage under your level of coverage. Very good to have CarShield. They are there for you no matter what and I have it. This is my second one that I have gotten from carshield and yes it is beautiful to have it. You don't know when your car going to act up so yeah I wouldn't be without it so go get it if you don't have it. You won't be sorry. You'll be in peace with the prices are today. You'll will thank me and carshield. All you do pay the deductible on the contract and that's it.

Apparently there was a miscommunication regarding a covered repair of Automatic Transmission Cooler hydraulic lines. I spoke with a representative last night and both of us concluded that as a necessary part of the Automatic Transmission (not "rubber lines" which are not covered), these are covered by our policy. My car was regarding my warranty coverage and the availability of any recommended repair shops. Was explained to that any ASE-certified shop was recommended and if they were willing to work with AAS. Rep was knowledgeable about the contract and coverage.

CarShield was as good as their word. The customer service was efficient and always friendly and courteous. I just wish I could say the same for the Firestone Store and their customer service and management. Thankfully, it looks like CarShield may have finally gotten them straightened out.

The couple of times I used this service, I had to also pay the taxes (Your commercial says that you pay the taxes. Awesome). My light came on. It was $150.00 with a $100 deductible, so why turn it in. Your commercial says that car rental is included. You don’t say that the customer has to pay for the towing first & go through you to get reimbursed. I keep this because I wouldn’t be able to pay for any repairs. I can hardly afford the monthly payments.
We're sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, some states have different regulations on taxes, so we do apologize for any misunderstanding. You should not have had to pay for any towing upfront. You CAN be reimbursed for it if you do, but if you contact our Roadside Assistance department, they can set up the tow for you so that you don't come out of pocket for it. Rental is included, on an approved repair more than 4 hours worth of labor. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to give us a call.

Worst adjuster ever no way half not covered. Will tell everyone how horrible everything was. 124.00 a month should cover what was wrong with car. Tired of being crapped on. You need to cover the complete fuel system.

We have reviewed your claim and we show that there were two items called in that were just not listed for coverage under your contract, the O2 sensor, and the fuel pressure sensor. Unfortunately, when you signed up for coverage, the vehicle was too old and had too many miles on it for these items to be covered. We can only cover the parts listed in your contract for coverage. I just filled out a survey, look me up and see the treatment I’ve been receiving. Not good customer service. It has nothing to do with fixing my car. I have been trying to get my double payment given back to me for several weeks now. I do not like the attitude of your so-called customer service reps
We have reviewed your account and it looks like that refund for the double payment was submitted back on 11/17. The finance company, Mepco, has been a little bit behind on processing requests due to the holiday, however this should have been refunded to you by now. Please give us a call and we can assist you in getting in contact with your finance company to see where the refund should be.

Had Carshield Over 2yrs, My check engine light came on. I tried all the Auto Dealer of my choice according to what Car Shield stated in commercial, all car dealers in Tucson Arizona would not deal with Car Shield because of reimbursement problems, I think I was misled and lied to and I would like all my money back since I was not able to use it at all to my satisfaction!
Sorry to hear there may have been confusion about your coverage. The coverage is not a reimbursement plan, so all repairs have to be called in and approved to do the work before any repairs are performed. Sorry you’re having trouble finding a local repair shop that accepts our coverage. Some shops refuse to take our coverage, however it is not for the reasons you may think. Some shops refuse to take any outside coverage because they want to be in charge of their own prices. There is a nationally recognized labor guide that tells repair facilities what to charge for what services and things like that. But it's up to each individual shop whether or not they want to follow it. With coverage like ours, we keep shops from overcharging our customers and shops don't always like that. We’re happy to stand on our record of servicing over 2 million customers over our 17 years in business. Not to mention our claims department pays out over $5 million in claims every month. I was initially disappointed 1 of my vehicle issues could not be repaired by my CarShield policy...but overall I was very happy and grateful. The one issue was deemed to be preexisting I was told. Thank goodness for CarShield!
