I seen Ice T representing Car Shield. It made me curious to consider the extra coverage. I already have car insurance, AAA, AARP to name a few...so why not. I called and spoke to Byron **. He was knowledgeable, patient & convincing. Now I have Car Shield.

As I said, I have already done this. Just now and on the day I called in. It would tell you that David ** on December 7, 2022 was so professional and guided me not only to a Diamond Elite plan but also got for me a discount and also set me up on a budget plan.

The agent explained in a very clear and easy to understand way why I should wait before canceling my current policy with another company.. I think this contract gives us more coverage for less monthly payment. I have heard nothing but good reports about Carfax

Updated on 03/20/2023: Carshield requires you to leave your car at repair facility once the engine light comes on. It took 12 days for them to authorize and another 12 days for my car to be repaired. Being that I can't remove my operating car or my claim would be denied, I had to leave it there. I have the highest coverage, GOLD. Carshield pays for the rental in arrears. I now know why they do this! So I was out of pocket. They only paid for 7 days even though it took more than that for them to even authorize repairs. How was I supposed to get to work? I requested 786 as I only rented a car Tues thru Thurs when I had to be in the office. Thank goodness I did that as they only sent me a check for 311. This is an unfair practice as I had to leave my CAR at the repair shop per carshield's policy. Just FYI.
Original Review: I had an excellent experience with Carshield. They paid my claim in less than 2 weeks and also reimbursed me for the rental car. I have a BMW so the parts and labor were not cheap. Carshield was always very quick to reply to my questions and got everything done in record time. I highly recommend Carshield! I'm a customer for LIFE!

The girl I talked to was helpful. When I asked for the booklet containing policy #, phone number of claims, what they cover, what they don't cover, who I need to talk to etc. she said she would send the booklet to me.

I am completing survey. I am pleased with the customer service and I have definitely referred friends to CarShield. The representative was courteous and was very helpful. I felt that my problem was resolved without judgment. I plan to keep my plan with Car Shield. I have not had to use the plan for my car as of this date but I feel sure that I will be taken care of promptly.

I’m just gonna drop Car Shield. They lied about what they will do and misled me, so I’m just going to withdraw from their contract. I’ve been going thru to to much and haven’t even been with them for a fully 3 to 4 months. I’m done.

I've had excellent service from CarShield. I was skeptical of aftermarket protection plans, but CarShield lives up to its promise to provide peace of mind, complete coverage and a price that is affordable. Claims are handled quickly and they follow up to make sure you are satisfied. If you have a car that doesn't have a factory warranty get CarShield. It's the real deal.

I was well pleased with the performance of Car Shield responding in a quick manner to avoid problems with me having transportation. I'm pleased with the service. My mechanic was impressed with the way Car Shield authorized him to perform the repairs. I recently purchased the CarShield Diamond w/ Elite Plan. Although my Sales Rep was very thorough and professional, and explained everything to me, when I received my Paperwork Package, I saw some parameters that confused me (my fault for doing that with a young child running all over the place). I called Customer Service just to get some clarification and the Rep was super nice, very professional, and extremely well versed. In just a few quick minutes, he made everything crystal clear, and I found it to be very comforting knowing that, in the event of needing the Service, I'd be dealing with competent professionals. I haven't even needed the Service yet, and I'm already impressed with the courtesy and professionalism.

Since my 2017 Silverado is nearing 100,000 miles, I thought it wise to sign up for Carshield. Being retired with a modest fixed income, a major repair of my truck would put me in a real financial bind. I spoke with John and he was most helpful and treated me with courtesy and respect. Of course, the premiums will require me to tighten my budget quite a bit, but I now have peace of mind knowing that I've got coverage if anything breaks down.

Called to get credit card info change. There were no issues and it was done quickly . The rep was very helpful and had updated the info in about 10 min. The rep also updated other things such as my address and phone number. The service was great.

I was driving down the road and the check battery light came on the like the car is possessed. The ABS then the Transmission light and Engine light, I pull to the side of the road and called for some help with this car possessed. I received outstanding support and assistance. Finally all was going to be alright. Tow truck was on the way. My breakdown begin at 9:20pm and I was home in my nice warm bed by 11:00pm MTS time. Not bad. Now for the pain of repairing that possessed car but wait I have CARSHIELD. That will ease the pain of the repairs. Thank you Car Shield. Do drive without it. THAT'S THE FACT JACK.

Hunter was very helpful. He had an outstanding attitude on the phone and was able to get me exactly what I needed and explained everything clearly to me! I was very frustrated by the time I called CarShield as I had spoken to several other extended warranty services prior to CarShield, yet he was a very cheerful person and he got me in a better mood and got me what I was calling for for way less money than any of the others!!! Will definitely recommend friends and family to CarShield!!!

Didn't know my account was on autopay so I ended up paying it twice and will be refunded the 2nd payment which I hate in 3 to 5 business days. My only issue is don't take no time to take the money out your account but takes 3 to 5 days to return the funds.

The gentleman I spoke with me on the phone said I would not be getting my money back and to call the complaint department, the number he gave me was for the Better Business Bureau. He stated that there was no one higher than him to make decisions. Very poor customer service.

Situation resolved in a couple of calls. Emily was very helpful and patient and tried several options to resolve this matter. She offered a 6 month discount of which I accepted. My new information will be provided tomorrow and resolved.

Car broke down on me. My check engine light came on. Turned out it was my motor that need repair. They pay most of the bill for the repairs. Now I just have to see about getting a rental car to get around until my car is finished.

Over the telephone, Customer Service Representative helped secure missing payment, and helped customer to make final payment to complete the whole contract requirements and costs. Mepco's website and payment options didn't work for this consumer. Consumer called CarShield for assistance.

When I looked at my contract I saw the city needed to be corrected. It is a common error with my zipcode. The customer service was polite and in a few minutes the correction was made. Recently, my car needed brake repairs, CarShield saved me hundreds of dollars on the repair bill. I am glad I signed up for this warranty and currently use this service and would recommend to friends and family. I added coverage to my other vehicle in hopes to save on future repair work to that vehicle.

I called customer service to pay my monthly bill. CarShield customer rep. Was well trained and expertly resolved my concerns, took payment and told me that l was in good standing And my policy was safe should l have a need for assistance! My valve cover gaskets were leaking and CarShield saved me over $400 in repair costs. I highly recommend it. This service is a great asset to have and I highly recommend it. The timeliness was great, they authorized my claim and it was immediately covered by them. They did a follow-up call as soon as they authorized the claim to make sure everything was good and to tell me that the claim was covered.

I purchased CarShield and never had to use it. However, it gave me peace of mind knowing that if my car ever broke down the parts and labor were covered. I do not know the number of people that have had to use CarShield but automobile repair is costly and knowing your car repair will be taken care of is priceless.

I had to file a claim when a condition was discovered during my vehicle's regularly scheduled maintenance and two conditions were discovered. One was covered by my warranty and the other was not. But the covered repairs were the most expensive. The process was very easy and I experienced good customer service. Thank you, CarShield!

We had a windshield replaced in my daughter's car. The car was left in her driveway with ample room for the work to be done. When she returned home after she got off work, her car was left at the end of her driveway with her car keys left on her hood. She went to crank up the car so she could pick up her 2 children, the car wouldn’t crank. She had to get a neighbor to jump the car off. Luckily the car wasn’t stolen, with the amount of children and adults that normally are walking in the neighborhood.
We're sorry to hear this. We show that a tow was dispatched to assist with getting the vehicle to Walmart for a flat tire issue which is not eligible for coverage under the contract, and windshields are cosmetic and not eligible for coverage either. We are not sure what else went on here, but it was not our doing, as we would not have been the ones performing those repairs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.

My vehicle needed motor mounts and Car Shield was prompted about getting my issue resolved. I also had a problem starting my vehicle and was in need of a tow truck to have the vehicle towed from one location to another and Car Shield made it possible/happen within minutes which takes the edge plus pressure off.

2019 Dodge Ram 1500. The representative was very helpful, answered all questions, and was able to work in a discount. Explained all the coverage and was well informed about their contract. Very professional company, I have both my vehicles covered with CarShield.

I only had CarShield for a few months & did not use coverage during that time. I traded the pickup that was covered by CarShield, but had a good feeling of protection while I had the service - at a great rate. When I called CarShield to cancel my service, they were friendly and quick and advised me I would have no further charges - it was great!

The Red Brake Light on the dash came on. I took the Hyundai Tucson 2017 to Tire Discounter (my normal mechanic for over 15 years). They checked all four brakes for any sign of damage or need for replacement pads. Nothing looks out of order. So I will need to take to a dealership with the equipment and skill to work with Hyundai vehicles.

I was having problems with my truck holding a charge so I had the truck towed to Ford since they have all my records for the truck. It turns out that there are two (2) problems. (1) Battery not holding a charge (new battery-12-26-2022) and two (2) valve covers.

My vehicle dashboard alerted me to the engine overheating. As I tried to get the vehicle out of the garage the engine light illuminated and the engine sounded weird. So to not cause any more damage, I decided to contact CarShield. The customer service was very good and the vehicle was towed and delivered to the garage.

Well written and informative contract with easy to read plain information overall on Plan. Impressive $10,000 aggregate limit of liability for each one-month term of all claims. My final decision was to go with a local dealer where I purchased and serviced my previous 3 Toyota cars over past 17 years.

Excellent warranty program compared to competitors. In addition the monthly payment plan is quite affordable instead of paying lump sum. I did a lot of research before selecting the warranty company. The experience of repairs was a bit long and frustrating but in the end CarShield took care of the repairs.

Dodge Journey was totaled. CarShield representative was efficient and courteous and cancelled coverage. She was apologetic that the vehicle was totaled and asked if the occupants were hurt. I was assured the coverage would be cancelled and no more payments would be taken from my account and asked if there was another vehicle that the coverage could be transferred to.

I was satisfied with the customer service, however as long as I have been with CarShield I feel coverage should have been more than it was, The coverage didn't even meet me halfway. But the customer service rep was extremely helpful.

I was disappointed in the amount of my bill that was covered by Car Shield. My starter went out and in the process it damaged my battery. Of my 1100 dollar bill, car shield only covered 400 and some of the bill. I had to even refile to get my towing charges covered.

As far as the repair itself, we show that your repair facility was overcharging, and we do not pay overcharged prices. For over a year, I have received at least 2 phone calls, a text message and emails asking for me to make my payment. When starting anywhere from the 27th, 28th of the month, when my payment is automatically divided from my account on the 3rd of every month, this has been going on for over a year. The young lady I spoke to today said she was try her best to try to get the problem resolved. So I would stop getting these phone calls that are very frustrating and unnecessary and not actually not very good for your company, I would believe. When my account is current and is paid on time because you debit my account. So I hope she's able to take care of it. She was very nice

My 2006 Jeep Commander was fixed until it wasn't. Y'all didn't fix both engine heads, then a year later the opposite side Y'all asking me do. I want to cancel. Call me ** and denied which is your fault. Y'all must help me that. What I'm passionate in fixing my vehicle I read the contract. Says that No one can change the rule of the game y'all play. Fix my car.

I am not working right now, I called to cancel my plan and the service representative went above and beyond to help me, and now I am staying with my plan, and he even pushed back my payment date as well as gave me a 10% discount, I am so happy he made my day. The rep convinced me to keep my coverage. I've been investing in this company in hopes that they would come through when I needed them. They did 1 out of the 3 times I made a claim. However, it was the most costly of the claims that they did pay. I'm thankful. I have a car that costs A LOT to repair, so I Think I'll keep them on to watch how they respond to future claims.

I placed my 2015 Q7 in the repair shop for certain reasons. Please review order #. It was an issue with the amount of labor hrs which was finally rectified, however when I was informed by the shop that my vehicle was ready, associate at the repair shop informed me that there was a balance of 155.00 apposed from my deductible. I immediately called Carshield in reference to this matter and wasn’t pleased with the response. I questioned how my vehicle was approved to be serviced without my approval for the additional funds. A representative from Carshield informed me that it’s stated in that fine print agreement that’s emailed to me called a contract. However she also stated that some made one attempt to reach me prior to the approval of the job. I informed her that was unacceptable.
I should have given options in which I’ve could have have my vehicle serviced at another location opposed to be forced into an additional payment. My real concern is where’s the ownership, accountability. This was not ok. I have 3 contracts with your company and is it expected to save funds aside for the unexpected. Please advise. Mr. Frustrated.

Unfortunately, if the shop is overcharging and charging more than what can be verified for parts and labor per nationally recognized labor guides, then the additional costs would be on you. This was advised to the shop, and that call was made to attempt to let you know as well. The shop should have relayed the message before they started work on the vehicle. It took too long to get through the process. Then I was on hold for at least 20 minutes towards the end. I was in an emergency situation. It was freezing outside and we couldn't start the car. My 9 year old child was with me. So it was very inconvenient to wait so long. The representative was pretty nice though. Thank you.

I've had a pretty good experience with my Shield. I didn't have any problems with processing my claim. I didn't have any problems with getting a rental car. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about hardship but I can actually say that I had a wonderful experience with them and I will continue to use them.

The auto warranty I had was great, When I needed a jump they came in minutes. When I needed a tire changed they came in 30 minutes. And my water pump went out it was covered. Just had to pay 100$. My only regret is I have a new truck and don’t need CarShield anymore. But the minute my warranty ends I’ll call Car Shield again. So if anyone reads this and have doubts about Car Shield let me put your mind at ease. They're very good. Get them or pay a hefty price to fix your vehicle at the repair shop. Car Shield rules. Their car rental policy is horrible! They only cover car rental based on the # of hrs they feel it takes to fix your car. They don't cover the time your car is in the shop to be diagnosed or the time waiting on Car Shield to deliver the part. My truck was in the shop 5 days!! They have quite a loophole to get out of paying for rentals!!!

Shops can be known to drag out repairs in order to get more money out of us or you the customer, so all rental is given based on verified labor times designated in nationally recognized labor guides that dictate how long a needed repair should take to do. It was very disappointing when I actually needed to use my monthly Car Shield and find out the hard way. Very hard to find a mechanic..the ones I found wanted to charge me all sorts of diagnostic service fees upfront like Pep Boys. Not at all what I was expecting. Called Toyota and they said they don't accept it anymore. Called other mechanics and they said the same thing. Time will tell but so far I am sorry I even signed up for this hassle.
Sorry you’re having trouble finding a local repair shop that accepts our coverage. Some shops refuse to take our coverage, however it is not for the reasons you may think. Some shops refuse to take any outside coverage because they want to be in charge of their own prices. There is a nationally recognized labor guide that tells repair facilities what to charge for what services and things like that. But it's up to each individual shop whether or not they want to follow it. With coverage like ours, we keep shops from overcharging our customers and shops don't always like that. We’re happy to stand on our record of servicing over 2 million customers over our 17 years in business. Not to mention our claims department pays out over $5 million in claims every month. If you need help finding other shops in your area, please give us a call.

Sorry to hear there may have been confusion about your coverage. Based on the mileage of your vehicle when you set up coverage, the suspension was never eligible for coverage. We did review your claim and it looks like the wiper motor was damaged by a non-covered part, and there is a listed exclusion in your contract that specifically excludes breakdowns that were caused by a non-covered part. Hopefully, we can help you out on the next one.

I have been trying to get a supervisor from CarShield by the name of Nicholas to call me back for over a week. He's handled my claims before and he's a person that I can trust to help me. I have everybody else in the company calling me except for him. I feel that if I've been working with you for over 3 years and you've been taking my money out of my account. The least I can do is speak to someone who I prefer to talk to not who you want me to talk to.

You have one story and the Ford dealer tells me another one. The truck did not run right. They ran 3 hours of tests to tell me it was a oil change and a air filter. **. Rebine Ford and Car shield are screwing me over at least 3$300 dollars of this bill. It's car shield's.

Never received a booklet of coverage of card even though payment has been taking out of my checking account for the last 2-3 month, Called a couple of times with no results and as now have not received anything from the company.

My 2004 Jeep Cherokee needed a water pump replaced. Carshield managed the claim directly with the repair shop. I found the service to be expedient, and they kept the customer informed on status of claim without requiring an inquiry call from the customer to Car Shield. Thank you!!!

Contract pre negated to provide no service for the HVAC system!. No discussion, no help, no anything!!!! I will post this on any and all message boards. I will advise all my customers to avoid any thing Carshield. Huge scam!!! What a rip-off for consumers!
We do apologize, however, we show you have Platinum coverage. Our Platinum coverage is "named component coverage". This means we can only cover the parts listed in the contract. The HVAC unit case is not listed in the contract, and therefore would not be eligible for coverage. Hopefully, we can help you out on the next one!

I was told that Carshield does not cover these kinds of repair, by ourisman chev security and by Carshield when I called them. I thought I had good coverage by Carshield when I purchase this coverage, and I did not know about the limits with the policy.
We're sorry that you feel this way. We show you had two previously paid-out claims last year, and the only reason this current one was denied was because the wire was corroded, and corrosion is specifically excluded from all of our contracts. The other item called in was the left side view mirror and we do not cover external cosmetic components of the vehicle, only internal mechanical ones. You never cover the item I need. I have more than one vehicle policy with Carshield. I'm canceling all my memberships and I'm telling everyone on social media to NOT ever buy from you. I find your contract incomplete due to your failure to include information as to what is and isn’t covered under emissions and your service personnel not knowing what is and isn’t covered under the emissions policy. Also you don’t cover what is covered under seals and gaskets in the contract.
We're sorry that you feel this way, however, we can assure you that is not the case. On page 16 of 21 in your contract, it does specifically list out what is and is not covered under Emissions. Seals and gaskets are listed for coverage for your cooling system, air conditioning, fuel system, and supercharger/turbo if applicable. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to reach out.

I called to discuss the coverage changes due to the mileage of the vehicle. If I pay for diamond coverage it should stay diamond until I decide to change it; not because the vehicle performed well and exceeded a certain number of miles before needing repair.
We're sorry to hear this. Once you sign up for coverage, you are locked in to that level of coverage as long as you keep the vehicle, no matter how high the mileage goes. We show you signed up for coverage in November, and called in to update mileage in January. The only reason you should have called to update the mileage is if the mileage at the time of sale of the contract was incorrect. If you were just calling to tell us how much mileage you have now, an update would not have been needed. Please give us a call to clear anything up.

I spoke to a young man Darius and he went above and beyond the call of duty. Was amazing. I will never ever recommend. My car has been in the shop for 3 months. CarShield took forever to send someone to look at my car. Then when they did nothing was put in. Took a month to get an authorization. Then they had to order the part and after 2 weeks they couldn't get and told the mechanic to get. Nothing extra was offered to me and I'm still without my car. I am unhappy with the supervisor depart as well. Guy was super rude and just tried to blame the mechanic which I have been with when he has tried to deal with CarShield.

Understanding the individual was difficult and burdensome most of the time. I am an American-speaking ** of 74 years and had to ask for clarification of what was said or conveyed to me. This individual should not be reprimanded; but, should be trained in a different method or given more training.

I took the Fiat to my mechanic today for the check engine light. He said my policy does not include engine repair. I have according to my papers, the Gold Policy which is supposed to cover everything. I guess I should have gone with Endurance that keeps calling my house. Chrystal
Sorry to hear there may have been confusion about your coverage. Our coverage plans vary depending on the age and mileage of the vehicle. Therefore, our sales agents place you into the highest level of coverage your vehicle qualifies for at the best rates. You were given the absolute highest level of coverage that your vehicle qualifies for nationwide, it just doesn't cover absolutely everything on the vehicle. It is still a great coverage that covers all of your major powertrain components, your AC, fuel system, radiator, water pump and basic electrical! Give us a call sometime and we can go over your policy and answer any questions you have.

My experience with CarShield was negative. Due to the information on your commercials that prompted me as a female to sign up for your service. the commercial does not state that the systems have to be failed: in order for you to pay a claim. The lovely Vivica A. Fox saying, "As a woman you really need this service." My charge was $2100 and I still have to pay you $110.12 a month. That is not saving me thousands of dollars.

I was assured my problems are covered under my plan. I requested pick- up and delivery of the vehicle which has been arranged for me. I have not had the above problems before and, although the car is nearly 11 years old, the mileage is still low, so it is not time yet to trade it in.

I canceled both of my contracts on 1/11/23 just 4 days after setting them up. Next thing I know they have taken out 2 payments out of my account for 1 of my vehicles. When I called Car Shield they denied taking out the payments. The payments have all of their information when they make them so the bank knows where they come from and they still have the nerve to play stupid and deny everything. I called Mepco their financial company they use. They said they have not run any payments that they must have come straight from Car Shield office. I have the email they sent me after the phone call on the 11th where I canceled everything so now I guess I will have to fight them to get my money back. I'm going to probably have to turn this over to a lawyer.
We're sorry that you feel this way, however, we can assure you, no additional money was taken from you after cancellation. You may be seeing the credits that went back into your account. We show that on the 2007 Ford Focus, your down payment was refunded to you on 1/12/23 at 8:21am and on your 2009 Ford F150, your down payment was refunded to you on 1/19/23 at 7:00am. If these are the dates and times you are seeing for these "charges" then they are not actually charges, but the credits back into your account. We advise calling and speaking with your bank.

My 2nd rep Amanda really saved me from canceling with Car Shield. I called at 8:41 am on Fri. to get my car towed to my mechanic in Rockville, MD., the rep got me a tow (TF Towing & Recovery LLC) & said they would be there in 11/2 hours. When they didn't show up after 12 pm, I called them - the first time no one answered. Then around 12:40 they answered & said they were 15mins away. They never arrived. I called Car shield back at 2:30 pm to ask about the tow comp and find out what was happening. Amanda was the rep & she understood my frustration and promised to find a tow company that would actually show up. She said that the TF said they couldn't tow my car but didn't know they had to tell you (Car Shield) nor me the client. Amanda ordered Nardo's towing & Recovery and for my inconvenience waived the $59 overage ($125) fee I would have paid. Nardo's did arrive within the time slot and towed my car.

I am new to CarShield, had a question regarding the 20 day/500 mile or 40 day/250 service exclusion. I was told that if I do not reach 500 miles in 20 days the 40 day/250 mile automatically kicks in. We do not drive that much.

After some serious cold weather, my truck wouldn’t start. Got a jump and drove all over town. 2 days later it wouldn’t start. After three attempts it started. Drove several feet & engine stopped. Called Car Shield & explained the problem sounded like the alternator. They notified a garage for me to go to and then a tow company to get there. The emergency services associate was great. She was professional, courteous & friendly to a point that she talked to me like a part of my family to a point where I was no longer stressed or upset with my situation. Now that is what I call service.

Requested update on claim **. Customer service gave the updaters information I requested. I was informed that they needed a copy of the paid towing bill. The invoice was emailed to them. They are still waiting for a written estimate from the transmission company.

Car wouldn’t start so I call CarShield Roadside Assistance and the tow truck driver kept calling me with a delay for up to 3 hours. CarShield advise once the car is towed I was responsible for finding my way home. The tow truck driver finally showed up after 3 hours and was told that my car insurance was towing the vehicle because I was not sure if CarShield towing would ever show up. Not to mention none of the services that was needed for the vehicle was covered under the warranty.
We're sorry to hear that roadside took so long. Unfortunately, the towing that is dispatched are all independently owned towing companies in your specific area. Our Roadside department is just in charge of helping you find one and paying up to the amount designated in your contract for the tow, so you don't have to. Next time, give us a call back so we can get you set up with a different tow. As far as what was called in for the claim, we show that all you needed was a battery, which is normal routine maintenance and not eligible for coverage under any of our policies and lower ball joints which are just parts not listed for coverage under your contract. Hopefully, we can help you on the next one!

Couldn't read my contract until 4 months afterwards, requested 5 times. Online I couldn't read not much? Then hearing horror story from customers that needed their cars fixed, sham all that cash for ADs, and retired Stars, saying "Yeah my CarShield save me." Ha! Ha! 4000.00 dollars, maybe pay for the AD, Any Stars got CarShield. Hell No.

After purchasing an extended warranty only 3 days prior, as a result of purchasing my car 2 days prior to that, I was involved in a an accident which has totaled my car. As I've been considering a new car (for the 2nd time in less than a week), I was hoping to determine the cost of a warranty for each of the cars I was considering purchasing and using that cost combined with other factors to help make my decision easier.
I called in and spoke to Travon who was very helpful, fast, courteous, efficient, and patient. He allowed me to provide two separate VINs and quoted each so I could make a more informed decision on this large purchase of a car. It took me a couple minutes to identify the VIN for one of the cars and Travon was patient, helpful, and courteous beyond compare. Representative was very helping helping me make my payment. Was wondering if you offer routine maintenance coverage as well such as oil changes tune ups brake pads and rotors, etc. Does rental car coverage begin at the time of breakdown or when the car starts being repaired?
We do apologize, however, we do not offer any sort of maintenance plan. Those are usually only offered by the dealership. Rental car coverage begins when the repair facility starts repairing the vehicle, so it is extremely important for the shop to call as soon as possible with a diagnostic and cause of failure so that we can review and approve the claim before they begin the work.
