Your rep assisted me with the auto pay dates for both of my cars. They will coincide at my convenience in the future instead of two separate withdrawals. This was a big nuisance previously. I had received a late payment notice on an auto-pay installment.

Debbie was awesome, deleting my old debit card to the new debit card and taking my payment which would be due today. I had an issue with the old debit card and had the close the card. I knew my payment was due today and I didn't want to make a late payment as I am a new customer. Debbie made this process easy for me and I am grateful.

Please tell me if the coverage I have been carrying on the vehicle can transfer with the car when I sell it. The buyer would like to carry the coverage at the $89/mo rate I maintained, and I would like to be relieved of having to make the payment. I don't have anything today! All I hope is the person that answered the phone at the beginning was VERY NASTY and DISRESPECTFUL, but the Person she transferred me to was the most POLITE and PROFESSIONAL. Made me feel that my money was worth every SINGLE word that came out of her mouth!!! VERY PROFESSIONAL!!

I called in today to inquire if parts of the brake system was covered. I was informed that I had the Diamond coverage and “yes”, parts of the brake system were covered. The person who informed me was knowledgeable, polite and assured me that once I decided to move ahead get in contact with them.

Car covered was sold and policy no longer needed...No need to add new car to coverage at this time as it has a 6 year warranty attached to it...We have been glad to have this type of coverage for our previous vehicle when its warranty expired...Thank you.

I DID NOT FEEL RUSHED. He gave me opportunity to think and respond. Engine light came on. I wasn’t sure of which shop to go to. Found a mechanic shop in my area that works with CarShield already. Scheduled a I wasn’t sure of which shop to go to. Found a mechanic shop in my area that works with Car Shield already. Scheduled an appointment for them to diagnose it at their earliest convenience. Mechanic said it was an air leak. Set the appointment. They took the vehicle diagnostic correctly. Repaired it without delay and handled all contact with Car Shield without delay. Other than dropping off and picking up the vehicle it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you very much.

Service was great. My issue was handle with respect and importance. I have recommended Carshield to all my friends and family. I told them if they are tired of getting ripped off call now, they will be surprised and will not regret getting Carshield. If they want to keep their car they love call carshield. My car has been at the shop for ten days. Waiting on approval to get fixed. Crazy. I have a extended warranty on my truck and have used it with no problems. I need my car repaired. I have two jobs to get to.

It was very easy to contact them for service and they took care of the problem. They called and made all the arrangements to have my truck looked at to find out the problem and have the okay to get the parts to do the repairs.

Work done was excellent and in a timely manner. Very pleased. From setting up appointment until picking up vehicle communication was excellent. I would recommend this company to do business with. Need more like them. Customer service was great and facility was clean. Waiting area had clean bathroom and snacks which was nice.

When we bought the policy from Car Shield we were told we could take our car anywhere and it would be paid for. We had a bill of about 700.00 and car shield paid only about 250.00 of the bill. We think this was unfair. We are considering dropping car shield.
That is unfortunate and we’re sorry we couldn't help. We can only cover the parts listed on your policy. Hopefully, we can help with your next repair.

All the repairs was not covered by CarShield, So I still have repairs that need to be addressed, I have a extended warranty for the vehicle, but the warranty will not cover the 5F Module and software update that needs to be replaced.

You guys order a new engine for my car. I had it 1 yr and it broke down out of state. And this year it gave up. I had 143 on it when you put the engine in.. It was done at 153.. So it did not get far..

My Truck stopped working all of a sudden. I called Car Shield to get it towed to my place of residence. I had filed a claim and it was approved in no time. NO HASSLE!!! I highly recommend Car Shield.

You never cover the repair fully because you must use inferior products as your parts are always much much cheaper than any parts on any repair needed. I wish you would even consider coming close to the cost of the replacement part!!

Great deals, service, and price! I'm glad that I had coverage and never had to use it. Some would probably say it's a waste of money, but it's all in the viewer's eye and opinion. They are very knowledgeable in the different levels and what's covered on each level. Not all vehicles will qualify for every level, mind you.

I’m thankful for CarShield. They took care of everything for me..I had no idea some things like this would happened to my car. My rear end differential wore out and needed to be replaced. The cost of repair was over $3000. CarShield covered the bulk of the expenses, which saved me thousands of dollars. I am so glad I have CarShield coverage.

At first, I called to cancel my policy. With the economy and other financial issues I could not afford what we have been paying over the past year and thought I had no options or choices, so I called to cancel my policy. The great news was your representative worked with me to keep our coverage and we didn't have to cancel. We are going to give it a few months and see if we can make it work within our budget.

Car was dead, had no power. Needed to have towed to my mechanic. Had a great experience. The Driver of the tow truck was thorough and professional. It took him a little time and had my vehicle ready for the car to be driven to be serviced.

Carshield has had my back through this process of having insurance when it was needed. The insurance covered me when I was down but helped me out because of the coverage of the car and even allowed a rental to be considered.

Thus far, my experience has been satisfactory with no problems. I read other reviews that were not pleasing. However, I am happy that I had Car Shield. Within a week, my transmission stopped working, and it's in the shop to be repaired. I trust they will fix it as quickly as possible with the same results of me being a satisfied customer.

Oil leak front main, rear main and upper oil pan gasket. If I stay with Car Shield after I have this problem fixed and there's a breakdown, will Car Shield cover the new problem? Or will it always be related to the oil leak?

Learned to my disappointment that my remote alarm & gas filler cap, Driver-door button and both front fender wheel well shrouds aren't covered ... Significant safety issues ...Especially since I'm 80 yrs. old & my wife and I are both handicapped.

These people run two different databases between Auto Shield another scam company and CarShield the mother scam company. They use two different databases and claim that a car rental approved for a repair is not valid for reimbursement if sent to another shop for repairs. They are a scam company trying to rip off poor people that have to keep their car running to make a living. Their customer service is rude beyond reason with threats of hanging up at any chance they can because they know they are ripping people off. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SERVICE!!!!

We show that your shop attempted to call in and start a claim yesterday but they stated they didn't have time to look at the vehicle until Monday so we are just waiting for them to call in with a diagnostic and an estimate for repairs. I filed a claim with American Auto Shield and in order for them to make my repairs they had to terminate my contract! And reimburse me for the tear down of my engine! Now during my claims period they suspended any action I could take on my account because it was being reviewed by their legal claims agent Nathan **! We came to an agreement to be reimbursed. Now mind you my account was being reviewed by their legal team so I couldn't have my car towed to the other shop that came out of pocket and CarShield was still charging me monthly fees while they weren't letting me use service in my contract! Now remember Nathan ** said I'll be refunded and he would reach out to their legal department at carsheild.
So in short they refuse to refund me the 3 months they was charging me and not allowing me to use the service for repairs and keep misleading the BBB when I file a complaint or just flat out refuse to reply! Going forward I would recommend this warranty service to anyone because I would be ashamed like I am now to let them how they take advantage of middle and lower class and hid behind the face's of celebrities to steal our money! And don't have the decency to return your call even within the 48hr wait period. I've called them 12 times and only got two return calls and both calls were to tell me they're keeping my money. It's like someone doing ** and using carsheild to buy their **.

I purchase CarShield I’ve been waiting to repair my vehicle for over 2 months still no results. I will inform the state of Rhode Island attorney general’s office and make a complaint informing them regarding my contract with CarShield.

I'm not going to lie. I thought it was a joke when I first saw it. I got it and something happened. My transmission went out. They replaced it. I'm thankful for that to save me over $2,800 to $3,000 for the repairs so I recommend everyone I mean everyone. They also approved me for a Rental which was for shorter then they had to fix my car. I had to ask for extra day of rental which I had to Pay for.

Customer service is non-existent. I'm on my 3rd transmission in a year. The first two times I was without a vehicle for 3 months total. This time is still to be determined. I was told initially a year ago that it was a remanufactured transmission. After these numerous failures, I knew that couldn't have been the case. I talked to 5 different people who would not tell me where the previous parts were sourced from. The last supervisor I spoke with told me they were used transmissions and then hung up on me.
Finally sent an email to attempt to talk to someone who would actually help, got a response that it is their right to determine what parts they provide. I understand to a point, but with a known issue on this transmission, they are not repairing it and holding up their end of the contract by putting in used junk with the same internal issues. Call CarShield, they will tell you they are not responsible for the terrible customer service and it's an issue with American Auto Shield.
Call them and they just don't care. Bad practices all around in my opinion. If you are searching for a decent aftermarket service contract, run as far away from CarShield as you can. Also, take a trip over to their website.. they only display the good reviews that they pull from other sites. Won’t find anything negative there… seems a little one sided to me.

Just very disappointed. I passed extended warranty with The dealer. 1st time I need to use you I get denied. AC went out, mostly all the parts are covered except The Discharging hose. Now I have to come out of pocket. And not feeling very fond of Car Sheild right now.

It’s been awful. My car has been at shop 3 weeks leaving me having to borrow a car. As a policyholder I have yet talked to adjuster and you have to talk to someone new each time you call. There is no communication between your adjusters and repair shop CarShield wants to skimp on parts and I think this is because I’m a new policyholder but I’m covered.

This is the second time getting a quote from someone in the at Car Shield. I had a 2000s and was paying $99.99 a month. Now for a 2015 Honda I would be paying $115.00 at monthly. I was told my payment would be $88.00 at monthly, but of course there no recorded from February 2023?. I have ARRP to use and I been with you sent 2001. Could you help me please thank you for your kindness. My payment would began on May 1 the.
We do apologize, however, prices depend on the age and mileage of the vehicle as well as the level of coverage and the cost of labor in your specific area. Your 2015 is a newer vehicle and qualifies for a higher level of coverage than your 2000, so naturally, you are going to pay more, because more of the vehicle is covered. We do, however, see that the sales rep was able to get your policy for your 2015 down to just $107.99 after OH state taxes. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to give us a call.

I’ve been paying for the past 3 months and this company is a fraud!!!! Advertised that cover engine and when I submitted a claim, my claim was denied saying valves are not covered under my contract, when valves are part of the engine. How is possible that won’t cover parts of an engine. I filed a dispute and they came up with another excuse to don’t pay for it. They will find the minimum detail to don’t pay for your claim. They will advertise on TV that they cover for engine, transmission, axles and water pumps. They said it was denied cause they didn’t consider the damage valve a mechanical breakdown. It’s time to STOP this type of fraudulent companies!!!!

In March my son called CarShield to correct a VIN error made. Rep told my son he corrected everything, said he transferred to other department and we'd get a call and receive revised the new Policy Plan coverage and would get booklet, card and policy within 10 days.... which did not happen. Apr. 14th, 23 Friday @9am - called to find out why we hadn't heard from or received updated policy information packet from Car Shield. I spoke with Mikayla who then transferred me to Specialist Chris's department. Chris is an exceptional Representative Specialist. I was upset by the time Chris got on the line, she immediately sensed that when I gave her my information and Chris decided to calm me down and had me take deep breaths and sips of water before proceeding to correct my policy.
Chris is a compassionate and very considerate Representative Specialist and explained in very detail what occurred and what steps she was taking to correct and how my previous payments would transferred into my new policy. Chris reiterated the Gold Protection Plan in detail, reverified my address and contact number and my son as the alternate person to speak with. Chris also informed me that my payments were lowered and when my next payment would be.
Chris is my angel, not only is she an exceptional Rep Specialist she is very compassionate, understanding and knew I needed to calm down before proceeding any type of discussion regarding my policy issues. Chris also took the time to explain to my son that when he had called in March to make the corrections and was told it would go to Data Management who would called us (we didn't get call). I cannot express the GRATITUDE I have for Chris, she also let me change my payment date to the 7th of each month instead of the original 14th due date. I was reassured that my PLATINUM policy would cover my malfunctioning Drive Train which was smoking and wouldn't go faster than 37 mph. It also had a terrible shake to the entire car. I had my car fixed and I had to pay 189.00 extra for the job. I don't think I should have to because I pay 109.99 per month and then if I get my car fixed I pay 100.00 dollars copay. That's a lot of money.
We do apologize, however, after reviewing of the claim, it looks like the shop was overcharging on labor. According to our notes however, we show that the difference should have only been $17 extra dollars, so we are not sure what else the shop was charging you for. My van's passenger door was stuck. And now it happening to the other side. Car Shield helped to repair the door by getting the motor replaced. I need the doors working and CarShield helps that to happen. I'm glad CarShield has other car repair options, other than the car dealership. When I made my claim, they were helpful at first. Got my car into a shop. Had to wait for my alternator to come. It didn't come until Monday when you all told me Friday. Then, I don't understand why I had to make a reservation and not you all. I couldn't get a rental, so I had to wait almost a week for my car. I didn't like talking to different people about my claim and had to repeat myself over again. I think you all need one person to have a limit to 5 claims at a time to ease all of the stress people has to go through instead of different people telling me something different each time I called. I am glad that you all pay for the most expensive parts. Make sure that customer service tell the people have to pay a deductible. One person told me I didn't have to pay a deductible and someone else told me different.

The services were well handled and acceptable for my budget. All repairs were quoted for the plan I chose and deductibles were acceptable for the services listed. A complication however arose with the vehicle purchasing after the dealership declined the financing from Westlake Financial Services who approved it as I was notified by email and dealership of the financing beforehand of the approved financing. CarShield promptly returned the initial down payment I made.

This warranty was discontinued due to the purchase of a new vehicle. However, I had one order, during my participation with this service, that was completed successfully without any administrative problems. I certainly plan on using this warranty program in the future!!

The representative I spoke with about my problem was being overcharged and incurring non-sufficient funds on my bank account. She thought my anger and rage about that. She showed compassion. She understood why I was angry and why I wanted to leave the company. She went above and beyond to save me as a customer. She did a great job.

My transmission will not change gears. I would like to take my truck to a shop to get it repaired am I covered for this? Repair shop is Atkins and Bobb Savannah GA. I've called them and talked to someone.
Your transmission is eligible for coverage. Just make sure that the shop contacts us before any work is performed to file a claim. Give us a call and we would be more than happy to help.

Well, everything was OK except for you all were slow getting the permission for them to fix my car but I finally got fixed and instead of paying for the five days of my rental you only pay two that’s not my fault. My car was turned in on Thursday and you are or was I supposed to OK it on Friday And you didn’t OK it until Wednesday and I picked it up on Thursday.

Janet was very helpful thank you. However, my previous 5 phone calls were extremely frustrating as I was unable to get any help or advice after my VW center (where I purchased my car) informed me that they would not deal with CarShield) and neither would 2 others in the area that I called. They said this was due to "terrible customer service" and frankly I had to agree as each time I called I was bounced from place to place with long holds and disconnected several times. The last person I talked with refused to allow me to submit my detailed diagnostics for review or connect me to anyone who could help me, just kept citing "company policy" and made no helpful suggestions, was clearly not listening to me and was what I can only call "politely obstructive". Not good, left me with a very bad impression.
Happily I called again today and Janet was the first to actually listen to my problem, advised that she would look for a service center that would work with CarShield, and promptly did so - another VW service center that is further away that I didn't know existed. So kudos to Janet for being so helpful, thank you very much. You clearly need more reps like her who are willing to help customers and not give them a runaround. Happy Easter Janet.
I'm pending judgment on "recommending CarShield" until I see how the claim goes and if you actually make good on your promises of coverage and don't leave me in limbo again or deny coverage and leave me with a big bill. I'm giving you a chance on this so please don't let me down, I'll be following up. Appointment is next Friday.

The people I dealt with from CarShield did their job and no problem at that point. The vendor used was a different story. Had a 7 day turnaround on a transmission that ended up taking a month because of the vendor. Ship date changed and after several attempts to get a tracking number finally did to see where the transmission was at? No problem with the folks I dealt with from CarShield but with the vendor used there is definitely room for improvement!

No shop or dealership wanted to accept Carshield so I called in and your employee found me a great and fast, beyond helpful shop an hour away. S and W Diesel in San Saba had a great guy named Taylor work on my Jeep. My car went in on Wednesday and was ready by Thursday. This shop was 1 hour away but they are amazing. Thank you.

Heater on passenger side of my Explorer wouldn’t work. Was fixed under my CarShield warranty, and it works like a charm. Car Shield covered the cost, minus my deductible, and it saved me hundreds! My SUV has over 112,000 miles, and with Car Shield coverage, I hope to make it to 200,000 miles!

Truck was misfiring. Don't know what's wrong with it. I called roadside service. They promptly came and got my vehicle and took it to a repair shop in Poplar Bluff for the repairs that is needed. That way I will be back on the road in no time. At least I hope. Thank you so much.

My first use of CS was when my car broke down & wouldn’t start right at the Chevy dealership. CS took care of the problem it took a while to get the parts. My second use of CS was when my water pump went out, everyone was courteous & knew of CS so that makes things a lot easier and relaxing moment. CS is very good for my Chevy because everyone wants to buy it, not ready to sell still enjoying my Chevy to the utmost.

Heather was most efficient with taking care of me with the payment and monthly auto deduction. She actually gets my 5 stars. I have yet to be able to use the warranty coverage to be able to really recommend. I have called in the past to see if the repairs were covered and never got approved.

First the good. I was researching extended warranties for a car I was purchasing. I left a message on their site and they contacted me the next day, a Saturday. I spoke to Lucas who was extremely helpful and low pressure. I told him from the beginning I wasn't planning on making a decision during that call and he still took the time to explain the process and answer any questions I had.
After I decided to purchase from another company I started receiving calls from CarShield. I let the first few go to voicemail but they never left a message. Since I recognized the number I answered and told them I had already purchased another plan. They still tried to transfer me to a "specialist" and I said, "No thanks, already a done deal." Then they continued to call, still never leaving a message. I finally answered again and told them "Let me be clear, I do not want any more calls." The person in the other end said "I understand, let me connect you with a specialist".
1. I originally contacted you, showing an interest in your product. Like many (probably most) I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. If you want to contact me, leave a message. I consider it rude and unprofessional to keep calling without leaving a message.2. Accept when you are clearly told someone is not interested. After two people, both of which I was clear that I would not be purchasing, continued trying to have me talk with someone else. After I told the first person I had made my decision I should not have received more phone calls.
All I can say is after my experience with the phone calls I feel better about not choosing this company.

Initially it had a clonking noise when first started, then it began to make a whining noise while driving the auto. It after a while the vehicle acted as though it was acting sluggish going forward and in reverse as well.

This experience is no different than pointing a gun at me and robbing me. SMH. CarShield should no longer be able to do business. A total ripoff, customer service representative basically LIED to get me to get a policy and like a dummy I did. SMH.

I was calling to cancel my policy as I am the new policyholder. My husband said no. Said it was stupid. Said he knew no one who had it. I’ve been a new member for a couple of months, and it feels good to have confidence in knowing if something go wrong with car I have help in a phone call. I have a car that is 2017 and the mileage is low but I had no extended warranty so this helps with that a lot knowing if a minor repair or a major repair I will be covering with minimum deductible.

Diagnostics not covered. So far this past 30 or so days our out-of-pocket expenses have been in excess of $700 you have not covered anything for either car. Diagnostics should be a covered item when repairs are needed for the cars. I pray that you will be willing to add this item to your plan coverage.
We do apologize to hear this, however, we do not show that your shop ever called in to start the claim. We show that you spoke to someone in claims and they advised you to have the shop call in with diagnostic and an estimate and this was never done. I really didn't know what to expect as I have been paying for service for a year and never had to use until recently. CarShield took care of me! I was able to get a major car issue repaired and only had to pay deductible and part cost due to shipping of the part!

During the past two years of coverage we had one or two times that needed servicing under this policy. Everything was handled in a courteous and professional manner. Now that there is another 2 years of coverage left but we have traded this car in for a new one, the cancellation process was also handled very easily.

Had an issue with the engine of my Mercedes Benz, it just died on the middle of the road. I towed my car to the shop and they made contact with Carshield and the repairs were approved in less than 24 hours. After that all I had to do was to take care of my deductible. Wonderful Company.

Customer service representative was very patient in explaining policy pros & cons (only one con, the waiting period, which is very short). The incentive to get this policy was due to the senior and military discounts offered which lowered the monthly payment considerably.

The lady that helped me out that I got hung up on. I want to use service customer service trying to get me to my home insurance. But then she got very, very, very rude and hung up on me before I can even answer. Listen to your recorded line and you will see again. Like I said, I would love to stay with CarShield but not getting treated the way that lady treated me. Again I am a Vietnam veteran and I am nobody's dog sir so a lady was so rude. I would not recommend her for anything again thank you. Call Pakistan customer.
