I had bought a used car for my daughter and I want her to be a bit protected of not having to come out of pocket too much for anything that goes wrong since I don't know how the used car was taken care of by the owner. So we purchased a warranty from AA Auto through the phone and the protection specialist was very understanding, very clear and pretty much everything that we discussed on the phone and initial process of it, was how he said it was when everything came through. I already recommended them to someone.

I am looking to copy the IDs and other stuff that AA Auto emailed me because I think something might be wrong with my car. I'm having it serviced at Tires Plus probably this week. I just started with AA Auto so I hope everything goes well.

But they're not on Saturdays and so you can't get your car fixed on Saturdays if you need warranty protection. It does make sense they have some Saturday contacts people to prove any claims and that'd be really nice if we could get an authorization on Saturdays.

I purchased a 550 and those can be expensive, so I wanted to make sure that I was covered for the major issues in case something happens with the power thing or computers in the vehicle - I've wanted to always carry a warranty on the vehicle that I was making payments on. The protection specialist explained to me everything that I needed to do and told me I needed to drive it for at least 30 days and the warranty will kick in at that point. She gave me options on how I wanted to pay for it. I chose one and she took care of it over the phone and let me know that everything had gone through and explained to me when it would fall in place for the next month. So far, with just her talking to me, I felt good about purchasing it. I would definitely recommend AA Auto to someone else.

I've had a good experience with AA Auto. Every time I've called, they've been very helpful and so far I have not had a problem with them. My old warranty was expiring around February and I did not want to be in a lapsing situation or wait till the last minute to make sure that my car was covered. The protection specialists answered the questions I asked and they were knowledgeable of what I was trying to do. I wanted to make sure that acquiring warranty 90 days before the other one expires was an option or if I had to wait till the last minute.

AA Auto canceled my policy with them due to miscommunication in the beginning about the car mileage. When I got my paperwork, it said that the mileage was at a certain number. When I did the Carfax, Carfax showed that it was a different mileage. They couldn't give an exact estimate or straighten it out but they're costing me a whole bunch of money. AA's protection specialist was very helpful. There was a period of time where I wanted to buy and then something came up and I couldn't come up with the down payment but he kept in contact with me. The company seemed to be more willing to work with me on a payment that would be affordable for me on a monthly basis and the down payment to get started. So compared to some of the other ones they were basically offering the same coverage but for twice as much money. From the research that I did with them, I couldn't find someone that said, "No! Don't buy from them. They're awful." So I felt comfortable with it. AA is good value for your dollar.

The warranty on my vehicle went out, so I was looking to renew. AA Auto came along and I was kind of curious, so I checked them out. The protection specialist said that to file a claim, you just call in and set it up. He also mentioned the benefits such as roadside assistance, where I can rent a car if my vehicle is in the shop for more than a couple of hours, or that they will come and tow my vehicle if I'm out of town and kind of stuck. The customer service was pretty cool. The rep was a cool dude, and he made me feel comfortable. They've been excellent.

I have a BMW and a Jaguar. I got an extended auto warranty because it gets a little expensive towards the end. I went with AA Auto Protection because Jaguar wanted me to pay the whole warranty upfront which was $4000 which I didn't have to do with AA Auto Protect. I don’t have any issues with the company and I haven't made any claims yet because the car I bought is in perfect working condition and so far it looks good. I bought the vehicle as is and the auto protection plan was way too expensive and they wouldn't break it down into monthly payments. And I wasn’t able to afford such a huge payment so I started shopping online to get a company that would give me both a reasonable price and monthly payments.

We discontinued the service from AA Auto because of the lack of respect of one of their customer service reps. The lousy rep gave me an attitude despite me talking to them so nicely. I went to a garage and I was told that they had to take out the transmission to find out why it failed. They also said, "look, there's a possibility this will be denied". So I said, "okay". So, I was told, "you have to call AA Auto up and tell them that they need to give you a yes or no if they're going to fix the transmission. If they deny the claim, they don't want to pay for the transmission and then you have to pay for it". I did say that to them and they said, "we're going to decline your claim", so I was not happy with the way their customer service handled everything.

I didn't have a normal warranty when I purchased a Mercedes because I only qualified for the exact amount of the car. I needed to have warranty knowing that the car and its parts are expensive. I got AA Auto and didn't enjoy it. When I told them I had an issue, the gentleman who sold me the policy said that perhaps my car had a pre-existing condition. 10 days after having the policy, I found out that it didn't cover something that it did not state in the verbiage which was a little bit misleading to me. It's disappointing to pay for something and not be covered.

He made me feel comfortable because a while back, someone had called me up about an auto protection plan, but I didn't think it was legit so I didn't go with them. I didn't get that feeling with him and he told me that no matter what, if something comes up, I won't have to hesitate about making a claim. He went step by step telling me what I had to do if I have to file a claim to start the program because at first I didn't have the $3,000 upfront, and that's what made me not get the plan. But then he said, "Wait, hold, hold. You don't have to pay the whole thing upfront. You can make payments." That was the minute he sold me so I jumped on it. I'm trying to talk my sister into getting the plan as well.

Then a month later, I keep receiving their email offering me $250 or $450 off, and I was thinking that the person I purchased the warranty from may not apply that offer. I know the importance of having insurance on your car. I would hate to come out-of-pocket for the major parts of the car if anything was to happen that's why I extended the insurance. In all fairness, AA is fine but like any warranty it's sometimes difficult to understand what is and isn't excluded and the written documents are not user-friendly. It would be better if they can make it more user-friendly and more illustrative.

My experience with AA Auto Protection started off pretty good. I don't know what happened with my last payment. I work, my wife is on disability and does the payments. I don't know if it was late, but they got it and they terminated my contract which actually left me screwed because now, I just spent all this money and I don't have it anymore. My contract would have expired in 2019 or the 100,000 miles on top of the miles I already have, whichever came first. I had 80,000+ more miles to put on the car and it's 2015, 4 more years and I no longer have that coverage. So I was not really happy about that and am very dissatisfied with them.

Now, after having paid and thinking that I was protected, I got this notice of rejection. It's disappointing.

Everything was good with me getting AA Auto Protection. The representatives were real nice and helped me find all of the discounts that they could find for me. When they set it up, I explained to the lady if they could set it up for about the 28th of the month because I’m a cancer patient and a lot of times when I had my second treatment, I’d be in the hospital and half of my money go for my treatment and the next check go for my bills. But it came out that it was on the 13th and they said they would send it where it would be a paper bill and asking “Pay it on the 28th.” I don’t like being late. That’s the only thing I wish I could get straight because I would grab a phone to take it out of my account every month. If they got it set for 13th, it won’t come out because my check won’t be made.

Very helpful when buying contract (sales representative - Jordan **) although there were a few points, never properly explains after many questions, promising a lot. When it came down to pay for parts covered and all proven by both technician and mechanic shop, they still refusing to pay for damages! Also while on the phone they keep transferring to other representatives over the phone trying to avoid clients!!! Not leaving any other choice but take further action in court.

The day I called it was 50% off on the down payment. So I only ended up paying half of what the initial payment was supposed to be. I'm glad I'm protected and I'm glad they offered that service.
