I renewed my membership to Royal Holiday. This review is not about the vacation part. It's about credit card security. It took me a few years to notice this. As I did not think they were related. I now realize that each time I used my MasterCard to make the payment, within a few weeks there are fraudulent charge attempts on that card. The most recent being in Spain and Paris. Unfortunately I don't remember the details of the previous times. Lucky for me that the MasterCard holder for my account called right away and protected me. Now I can't say that Royal Holiday knowingly allows this to happen. As I have no inside information. But as a consumer and member of this club, it seems to coincidental that this keeps happening.

Hello Consumer Affairs view, I gave RHC $11K in 1996 to be held in trust. I recently wanted to update my address on the trust documents. I found the trust company no longer exists (did it ever?) and Royal Holiday said they do not have copies of the original documents. I sent copies of the original documents to RHC. They told me the documents are too old and they have no responsibility. What a shoddy company! RHC has no integrity. Do not trust RHC. Larry **. Truckee, CA.

I purchased a timeshare with Royal Holiday and it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. The resorts are nice enough but by the time to you get there, you will need it after dealing with their HORRIBLE customer service. If you want a timeshare, do yourself a big favor and don't be fooled by the nice salesperson and sales team because it is not them you have deal with to manage your travel. I've used it 3 times and each time has been a horrible experience.

As soon as you see this people coming to you with a smile, bigger that the cat of Alice in Wonderland, you better say NO, NO and NO. Don't take any, any offer from them. Before rip you off with promises beyond your reason, the salespersons will be the most agreeable, lovely, polite and tender people you will ever meet. After you sign a dark contract and submit a very substantial amount of money-requisite for their lion's slice-and them keep doing monthly payments and an annual over thousand dollars yearly fee, the reality got nothing to do with their promises and fairytales. Eagers to take you out your money, horrible customer services, lies and more lies, all the personnel dogging you and avoiding when is a matter of solving the issues.

Was told and given a booklet of hotels included and was told it was similar to the one I was staying at and everything was included and it is not. Verbal agreement was a lie and make it impossible to cancel.

What sales person sell you is not worth any hard earned money. You can find best deals by yourself beating the cost you obligated to pay them. There is only one Account executive assigned to us and that too is very slow in response. Money back is not an option after 5 days which is not enough to think because you probably be in vacation that time. They are running a scam. Don’t even say yes to go to sales meet, it’s a costly trap for a very cheap offer they might be giving you!

We punched our membership back in March 2023. We were sold on all of these great hotels and nice rooms and benefits. So far our private booker has only called us twice and can answer anything. After finally getting accepted to log into the website we realized everything we were told was not true. I have tried several different times to contact them. In our contract it says we can cancel at any time, this doesn’t seem to be true. Customer service at Royal Holiday told me we only have 5 days to cancel once we sign. We were still on holidays and not access to the site. We were insured that we can cancel anytime and states that in the contract. So since April I have been trying to cancel and they won’t let me. This was a 30k learning lessons. Don’t trust anything they say or reviews on this site. It’s all a scam. All I want is my money back. But they won’t talk to me.

My recent stay at the Royal Holiday Vacation Club’s resort of Hacienda Jurica was breathtaking, and I highly recommend it. The accommodations were large and well designed, the restaurant had delectable food, and the staff was attentive. I will use them again during my next vacation.

The La Rinconada was outstanding in every possible way. The personnel were really helpful and courteous, and the facilities were of the highest possible standard. Both the beach and the pool were incredible features of the resort.

Our family purchased a membership and completed our contractual obligation paying on time each year EVEN as our dues increased, points value decreased, quality and quantify of availability decreased. We received confirmation from RH that we met our obligation, but they want us to sign a release. What? We've done our part, and signing a release was not a part of the original agreement. Now RH is calling us asking to pay 2023 dues and threatening harassment. BUYER BEWARE!

We made My Place Zocalo our home away from home when visiting Mexico City. It served as the perfect home base for us as we enjoyed all of the activities and attractions the city has to offer. We really packed a lot into that week and left with the feeling that we could still return and discover more.

Everything was so nice and we were so taken care of. Our whole family was able to come this time and it was an awesome time had by all. We have never been able to do this before so it was well beyond simply a treat. It was a family memory that will last us a lifetime.

I gave Royal Holiday a call one day after hearing some friends talk about the program and how much they loved it. I had to do my own brand of research before feeling comfortable with this process but man am I glad I did. We went on vacation to Mexico and it was an absolute dream.

The all-inclusive Grand Park Royal in Puerto Vallarta is heaven for beach lovers. The food options abound. We got to partake in an exciting whale-watching experience. I can’t say enough good things about the experience.

We could not have imagined a more romantic setting than our own little “casita” at Las Brisas in Acapulco. It even had its own private pool. The staff respects your privacy completely but is right there with the best service when needed.

Our holiday gift to each other this year was a Royal Holiday vacation. We agreed that our stay in Mazatlán was the best present either one of received by far. It was our first time leaving the country and we had fun. We wish to visit another location when next.

The nightlife in Mexico City is AMAZING! My Place Donceles is close to some of the most iconic nightclubs and thanks to the brochures, we were able to figure out which ones to hit up first! It was an amazing experience for me.

Spending the day with my best friends was all I wanted for my birthday, so I booked us a trip to Park Royal Beach Mazatlán through Royal Holiday! Even though we all have our different ideas of fun, there was something there for everyone!

We went to Cancun and we had a blast! I have never been out of the country for a holiday, so this was my first. The club prices are so much better and the hotel gets five stars from me. The treatment you get from the personnel's are just too.

Cozumel is just gorgeous! We had a beautiful hotel and excellent service from everyone involved. It was my first visit to Mexico and I must confess I'm in love with the place and with the people. I can't wait to come back!

My hubby is an architecture freak and really appreciated the beauty of Hacienda Jurica and its stone arches. Even I was impressed with the cozy atmosphere of the old stone farmhouse their bar sits in. We were honestly so content with the many amenities the resort itself had to offer that we only made the drive to Mexico City twice.

It was my best vacation. Los Cabos was beautiful and relaxing. We loved our vacation here and can't wait to plan the next trip. This CLub let's us travel more and save more. I found a reliable company.

Just returned from a luxurious stay at Park Royal Beach Ixtapa and am writing this as the memory of the gorgeous beaches there are fresh in my mind. Being on Palmar Beach is like being in a painting. We also took the short walk to Las Escolleras plenty and indulged in our share of watersports. This destination is for sure going on our list of ones to return to.

Just returned from our stay at Galería Plaza in Veracruz and no lie, I am sitting down to write this before we are even completely done unpacking and settling in back at the homestead. This was our first Royal Holiday Vacation Club trip and we are both so glad we are members. If the rest of our vacations are anywhere near as great as this one was, we have an awful lot to look forward to.

We stayed at the Park Royal Beach all inclusive resort in Cancun and there was no running water. All they offered was that it should work in a few hours. I tried calling their service line but nobody answered.

Being right in the core of hotels in Cancun, we found our Grand Park Royal Cancun accommodations to be ideal. Vacation is the best time to do the extreme things you don’t get to experience in everyday life and Cancun is the place to do them. And we zip-lined and bungee-jumped with the best of them.

Some of the prettiest and mysterious cenotes (or sinkholes for those of you about to Google) can be explored when you stay at Grand Riviera Princess. Truly a world class resort. You’re just an hour from Cancún too.

Park Royal Beach Resort in Cancún and its white sandy beaches has been our favorite so far but we are only just beginning. It has set the benchmark quite high though. It was an awesome experience. I will be using Royal Holiday again.

This is an expression of gratitude to the great folks who worked at the hotel where we stayed during our recent Royal Holiday get away. They looked after myself and my family from the front desk to the cleaners in our room. People in those roles don't get enough credit for what they do to make holidays fun, in my opinion.

Our Royal Holiday hotel in Puerto Vallarta is a must-stay for everyone looking for a memorable vacation. It was really the most unforgettable experience of our lives thanks to them. They are fantastic! We've been with them for a long time, and they consistently exceed our expectations. They are really helpful and respond to all of our inquiries.

The staff is always a pleasure to work with, and I know that no matter who I speak with, I will receive the same response. I'm really delighted I traveled with Royal Holiday, and my family always talks about wanting to return. You can't go wrong with them over their competition because they are upfront and don't hide anything.

Mexico is just chock-full of exciting destinations to explore and our association with Royal Holiday has us determined to eventually experience every one of them. Our recent visit to Cancun has strengthened our resolve to do this even more.

Don’t hesitate to join. The offered resorts are first class and you’re treated like family. I was skeptical about the entire vacation thing at first but I decided to give it a try and I'm happy I did. It was an awesome experience.

I’ve heard about clubs like this but had no idea one existed that provided destinations that I actually wanted to visit. Locations were so beautiful and the accommodation was top, and their prices are fair enough.

We’re a family on a budget and vacations have never been a part of what we could do. Until now. Being able to go to Cancun was absolutely amazingly beautiful. Everything from the resort itself to the staff made our vacation even better than we hoped.

Not only do you get to choose from many different destinations but also different types of places such as a hotel, villa, or even a condo. For us it changes depending on how many are with us and the vibe of the trip. I adore the versatility.

We felt completely protected the entire time we were there and were able to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. The phone call from Royal Holiday caught me off guard. They were extremely patient and helpful during the call.

When we went to Cancun this year it was gorgeous. The whole Resort had so many perks we didn't have to go out of the resort. We did but we didn't have to. The people were friendly and really nice about telling us where good places to go where to.

Love using them so I don't have to waste time on a bunch of research for different resorts and flights for my vacations to Mexico. They do all the work and I get to enjoy my vacation stress free. Several other locations I'd love to see next holiday and I'm using them.
