My company reserve me a room here for a month. I'm at the Extended Stay America in Greenville South Carolina. They only have like 15 channels to watch. They said they had a breakfast every morning. I get here and it's only coffee and oatmeal every morning. They have no Fitness area or pool or any other amenities. I would highly recommend choosing another establishment.

Don't use the wifi... I used it with my laptop... Something latched onto my laptop causing my settings for my home wifi to completely erase. Also, my printer drivers were wiped out. Other than that my stay was great. So take my advice. Just saying.

I stayed at Extended Stay America in February to March of 2014 and was treated with the utmost disgrace. The front desk manager's name was Frankie. When I would go out during the day, his front desk and maintenance employees would frequently enter the room that I was assigned and steal from me. They stole my bank card, my scarves, and several other belongings. One day I returned and found footprints leading to the bathroom. I called Frankie and had him check the daily log of all who’ll had entered the room. I even checked it myself and discovered that one of their own employees was the culprit. The maintenance man was nearby and when he knew he had been found out, he uttered "Uh-oh". A cop told me that if a hotel performs maintenance in the room you are staying in without your knowledge, that they can be closed down.

I decided to leave because I felt unsafe. At an earlier time, Frankie asked me to stop talking rudely to the front desk employees, or he would ask me to leave - when I had not done anything disrespectful. (My teachers can vouch for you all.) I went to check out and asked for my valuables stored in the lockbox. (Frankie was supposedly at a meeting then.) I was told that they could not get the lockbox open. I had already called Yellow Cab - the driver's name was Mitch - and the meter was running. All this time the employees stalled for two hours. I told them that they had better get the lockbox open, that I had to go and they had better call Frankie. Finally, Frankie arrived. He stalled also. They, he and the other front desk employees even waited on other lodgers while my taxi waited.

One of the lodgers name was Steve **; and there were two Latinos sitting in the lobby. This front desk had not completed serving me. Frankie then told me that I should go back into the room that I had been assigned and wait until 6:00 pm when the shuttle arrived, and the shuttle would take me to my destination. This was after he had assigned a bald-headed sixty-something year old ** male to the same room. I then decided to call the dispatcher at Yellow Cab. Right then, Frankie said that the lockbox had opened. The taxi meter had run up to $13.00.

I left this hotel for my life and decided never to return. I stayed at another hotel and while there received a call from a female front desk employee at Extended Stay America on Nations Ford Road. She told me that I had not paid my bill for the week and that it was due. I told her that if I ever received another call from her, that would be the last time. All these calls are recorded for proof with the carrier. I have enjoyed my stay at hotels in the USA but this was the final straw. This is an example of professional thieves being employed by a business who are morons on the subject of customer service.

This is the worst experience we had in Atlanta (Marietta Area). No customer service, no breakfast as they said, the smell of the rooms are horrible, all the building have that smell. If you stay 2 nights and ask for cleaning the room the answer is: IF YOU WANT A CLEAN ROOM YOU HAVE TO STAY 7 DAYS, JUST BECAUSE YOU STAY TWO NIGHTS YOU DO NOT HAVE THE OPTION!!! OMG what. We came from Florida because of the Hurricane, the Marriott (Fairfield, Courtyard, Residence) Hilton's and others were booked because all Floridians came to Atlanta. This is not fair to any human being, you have this atrocious option, NO WAY PLEASE. PREFER TO SLEEP IN THE CAR. Advise do not reserve this hotel.

We checked in on Sept 9th. The room was sub-standardly clean and the AC didn't work. I went to the desk to get a new room and a couple was there checking out because of bugs in their room. The manager gave me a new room. As nightfall approached bugs were appearing in the bathroom (ROACHES) and bugs crawling on the furniture. We immediately checked out and went to the hotel next door. The hotel next door said they received several guests from Extended Stay because of bugs that day.

Since Hotelplanner isn't returning my calls I called the Extended Stay manager, Carrie ** in Landover MD. She stated the room was inspected by her and a company and no bugs were found. I assure you there were! The hotel smelled of weed on the 2nd floor. The elevator wasn't working and we had to take the steps. I'm in shape and can do that but if you went there in a wheelchair you'd be screwed. Disgusting rooms, management and customer service.

I've stayed here in 2014 in Louisiana, and I stayed for 2 months had nothing but problems the whole time here and when I went to check out they tried to charge me an extra $130 which was already paid for. They kept over charging me every week. If it were not for a employee at the front desk who knew my rate I would of been fighting them every week for money.

I was trying to give them another chance to redeem themselves and that went down the drain. I booked a room for Chicago and asked how much time do I have to cancel the room if I don't need it. The guy who booked my room said I had until the day of the stay before 4 pm to cancel. Well ended up my company said they were sending me else where and I went to cancel the reservations 2 days after I made the reservation.

This was a whole week before the job and they gave me some nonsense about advance purchase have to be canceled within 24 hrs. I did not make an advance notice that would be charged to my card. The guy said I had until the day of the reservation to cancel. All they told me was they had to review the conversation and for me to call back in a few hours. I called back several times and they never answered. I tried again the next day and they still didn't answer. I've been on hold both times for over 1 hour.

This is just ridiculous. Bad service and they lie about everything. Their service also sucks at their hotels. If I don't get a hold of someone to cancel this reservation I will contact my attorney, I don't have time for people like this. They have no right to charge my card because I was never told I had 24 hrs to cancel this reservation. I'll never stay at any of these hotels and my advise to you is to stay away. Very bad service and their customer service really is the pits and I mean the bottom of the pit.

Maybe twice the orange juice machine was out of order. No choice given ...the lady checking us didn't care. We had to ask for any kitchen pots etc. There was others complaining about not enough beds and it was like being in a cell but we owned the key. Some days keys didn't work so had to ask at front desk.

We checked out on third week for peace of mind... No helpful staff and told they couldn't refund. My family and I checked in at this hotel on Tuesday Aug. 8 and right away had to wait over an hour to get our room. My family, 3 young children and I arrived at 2:45 and were told we couldn't check in until after 3 pm. We left and returned at 3:15 and waited in line until 4:30 to get our room. After going to the room, I noticed that the sofa couch was missing and the only thing left in that space were the two couch cushions and 2 springs. I went back out and spoke with man who checked us in and was told that he wasn't sure what happened but that I could speak with a manager the next morning.

We decided to visit the pool which after 20 minutes had to leave because we noticed hotel guests coming into the pool area with their dogs. One of the dogs, a husky, got so close to the pool that he nearly connected with my toddler's face as I held him in my arms inside the pool. Had I not jerked my child away, I'm not sure the animal would have bite or licked my child in the face. The owner didn't even try to restrain its animal. I voiced my concern of this at the front desk but didn't feel heard.

In order to accommodate ourselves in the room, my tween daughter and I had to share the 2 full beds in the room with my other two children. The next morning, we went to the front desk and spoke with the manager who heard my complaint about the sofa couch but told me that there was no way that I could get a new sofa couch or a roll-a-bed which I mentioned would make our accommodations a little more comfortable. She didn't seem to care that I was unhappy with our accommodations. She did promise that someone would come to the room and remove the sofa couch cushions and spring pieces.

That night when we returned from a long day at Legoland, we found out that our room hadn't been cleaned nor sofa cushions and springs removed. I once again visited the front desk and was told that somehow when we checked in, the clerk hadn't indicated that we wanted our room cleaned and there was no one else available but she, front desk person, to do housekeeping at 9 pm. She then told me that her job was not to do housekeeping. I was able to get a new set of clean towels but nothing else.

At that point I felt I had enough. I told the receptionist that the hotel's service was awful and she just gave me a smirk. The next day at checkout, Aug.10, I voiced my concerns with the manager and was compensated the first night's stay but not a single apology for poor service. I even mentioned to the manager that I had awoke with flea bites and her response was, "We are a pet friendly hotel and our carpets are currently being cleaned." I told her that I couldn't believe just how horrible their customer service was and that it would have been nice to get a simple apology. She just ended the conversation by telling me to have a good day and walked away from the front desk. She was arrogant and rude.

I left the hotel very unsatisfied with my hotel accommodations and wouldn't recommend this hotel chain to anyone coming to stay in San Diego. They seem to cater more to people who are looking to become tenants than hotel guests. What hotel makes you take out your own room trash or only cleans your room if you stay more than 7 days. At what they charge, they should be doing daily housekeeping and more.

In May of this year - 2017 we stayed at Extended Stay in Northridge, CA. WE PAID FOR OUR STAY WITH CASH - INCLUDING $100.00 CASH DEPOSIT- that we were told we'd be refunded at check out. When we checked out though we were informed that it is policy to refund deposits through mail out check and not cash. Anyway, here it is August and seeing as we NEVER HEARD FROM THE EXTENDED STAY OR RECEIVED A CHECK IN THE MAIL FOR OUR DEPOSIT, we decided to call Extended Stay's Guest Relations, and find out where our $100.00 deposit check was. We were informed that a check had been sent out to us on the 30th of June and we then informed them we had not received said check.

We were told that they would call their accounting Dept. to find out the status of the check. Like if someone had cashed it or if it was still unpaid on/not cashed, at what time we could all move forward on, what steps to take now on our getting refunded. We went on to call guest relations back several times with still no word on the status of the check they sent to us on June 30th. Once again we needed to call back so a new check could be sent and INVESTIGATE of the other check they supposedly sent out to us. At this time we were told that now we weren't receiving a refund check at all due to leaving hotel w/o paying for two days, which could never happen because they make you pay for the room BEFORE continuing to allow you to stay. I explained that. Then they told us it was because of a no show reservation - which never happened because A valid credit card would've been used and I only pay cash to avoid any problems.

I asked what happened to the check they said was mailed to us on June 30th? The guest relations supervisor kept trying to tell me I owed for two nights and had no explanation for 4 different guest relations reps lying to us, and wasting hours of our time. 2 times I actually waited 2+ hours on telephone hold for guest relations and then another hour + just to be told to call back AGAIN. I TOLD THE SUPERVISOR - Shelby, that something was wrong with her information and she all but came right out and called me a liar. Never could explain why the guest relations reps and accounting dept lied about sending us a check on June 30th.

It seems to me that whoever was at the hotel lobby counter when we paid for our room must've pulled some sort of funny business with our cash and has cost us our refund and our reputation with Extended Stay. Not that we will ever stay there again, because We won't and about 50 people we know will not and no recommendations either. As a matter of fact we plan on moving forward with a lawyer on this and I am going to go thru every public media option I can to put this place on blast for cheating us, lying to us, ripping us off, and mental and emotional damages, and a loss of wages for hours our wasted time. They really could've handled this like a responsible establishment and chose to be "shady". Shame on them. Don't get ripped off - Stay away from Extended Stay hotels.

Extended Stay America located in Carson, CA is dirty as hell. The room smell like meadow, the carpet was damp and dirty, stains everywhere, on top of that room had roaches and black spiders. There was a roach leg in the shower on the wall. They don't clean the rooms during your stay, you have to pay extra if you want them to come clean. There's a room in the hallway with trash full to the top smelling horrible. I will never in my life come by here again. This hotel gets no stars, all they care about is renting the rooms out no matter what condition it's in. Hope someone think twice about staying in this dump, unless you are used to it.

Trash from n2n and in all the hallways. This is the nastiest place I have seen. Motel 6 is better than this place. Does not deserve one star.

We had planned a trip for St Louis, MO for the 4th of July weekend with my wife, 2 yrs old son and mom. I had planned everything like where to stay, things to do on the way and in and around St Louis. Since I had small kid and old mom, I don't wanted to take any chances, so I double checked everything before we leave. On 24th I called Extended Stay America customer support and booked a 2 BEDROOM SUITE-KINGQUEEN-N in extended stay St Louis for 1st and 2nd July. On 29th I called customer care and property to make sure everything is set for us, since it was long weekend I don't wanted to take chance. I had even informed them that I'll do late check in, since we were traveling from North by car.

We left Saturday (1st July) morning at 6.30 am as per plan and reached Starved Rock State Park. We hiked, saw beautiful rock canyons, waterfalls. Had our lunch and left to Springfield. Saw Lincoln house and tomb. We reached Extended Stay around 11.20 pm. My son was already cranky and we were all so tired that we just wanted to hit bed. Quickly we unloaded our bags from car and went to the hotel. A shocking surprise was awaiting for us there. The woman in the front desk told there are no rooms. I showed her the copy of confirmation email and asked how can there not be a room booked for us. She told that they are full and no rooms available. I spoke to their customer care but no use. They called property and property manager, but they were care less.

After 30 mins I got answer that I have to book some other hotel room and manage that night and they would accommodate us next day. By then it was 12 pm and I was not able to use online booking. Since it will take my check in time 12 pm next day. We had to roam around in St Louis streets looking for accommodation in middle of the night with small kid and old mom. Finally, we were able find accommodation by paying a hefty amount for some good hotel. Those 2 hours were horrifying. And, our next day plan was completely screwed up. Next day I called Extended Stay guest relationship and explained what happen. They handed over number and told someone will reach out and today they have reserved the room. As we were paying high amount at another hotel, I did not want to extend my stay for another day. I vacated that place and went to Extended Stay, as they had promised today room will be available.

Again, same answer but with different story line. This time they told they have only king bedroom and don't have 2BEDROOM SUITE-KINGQUEEN-N. How 4 people can sleep on King bed? How can they be so irresponsible? I had to book another hotel room. In spite of planning everything perfectly and booking hotel well in advance I had to go through this. It was a lot of mental stress and I was not able to enjoy my trip.

Customer service is non existent and they're OK with racism - My family stayed in a location between houses previously and I would have given them 5 stars. This year, we again stayed with them (another location) between houses... Things were VERY different. Issue after issue after issue. We were then informed that we owed money. This didn't seem right and I spoke with the manager about speaking with them in detail the next day. "Okay, that's fine" I was told. That night, a knock at the door and the girl handed me an envelope. Basically, a letter saying since we were behind and owed money, we were getting kicked out.

The next day. I opened the door and went down the hall and got her before she went into the office (I was about 20 feet or more from her) & asked if the manager had spoken to them about it, she said no and I said "Well she should have" & turned back to my room... In tears, confused, etc. My husband (who was at the grocery store) came back shortly and I gave him the letter. I then had to take my kids somewhere. While I was gone, he went down to the front desk to speak with them about the letter and overheard the girl that handed me the letter, talking on her phone to someone. He was able to catch the last of what she said on video. He kept his cool, got a detailed, itemized bill from the desk and came back to the room. What did he hear?

"I handed her the letter and she got in my face talking about how she already talked to the manager. I told the ** I didn't know anything about that. She said 'The manager didn't tell you what we talked about yesterday?' And I told her 'no.' She comes at me again with 'Well, she should have.' Oh my God, ** people! This "b" doesn't know who she's messing with. I'll just deactivate her key and lock her out of her room. Then we'll see what she does... And it's so ** sick. I'm going to knock a ** "b" down." (after the "..." is what he caught on video.)

Instead of at least apologizing, management denied anything wrong was said. Also, going over the itemized bill, turns out THEY owed US money!! They were illegally charging us county tax for 2 months past what they were supposed to. Their reaction to all of this? They kicked us out. It's been nearly a month and we haven't gotten our refund, we haven't gotten an apology, nothing. In fact, we have called local management all the way up to corporate. We have yet to hear from anyone about this. They don't care about customers. Not at all.

I have been staying at the Extended Stay America in Woodbury, MN for over 30 days. Overall, the stay has been 'okay'. Most of the staff are friendly, and the room conditions and location are decent. They run out of supplies regularly, and if you come in after hours and your key isn't working, it's hit or miss if anyone will answer the phone to let you in.

I didn't have a significant issue until over a week ago when I was charged more than twice the quoted weekly amount, and had a set of sheets that broke out my sons face with hundreds of bumps. The front desk staff told me that only the manager could address the issue. I left a complaint with the front desk, submitted a complaint via the Extended Stay website, left multiple phone messages and stopped by the front desk multiple times to have the issue addressed. No one ever responded to my email or calls.

After a week, I eventually caught the manager at the front desk and explained the issue. The conversation was very friendly and polite on both ends. She explained that she would go through the charges and issue the appropriate refund and offered to call me to confirm that the issue had been addressed; I accepted. All the while that I was on the phone with the manager the housekeeper was in the room. As soon as I hung up the phone the housekeeper said, "Can I talk to you for a minute?". She then led me to the bathroom and showed me hair in the bathtub drain and said, "This hair is going to clog the drain." I responded by saying that this is just the hair from us [humans] washing our hair (no pets). What do you expect me to do about it? The hotel chooses to clean the rooms weekly and we don't have cleaning supplies. Her response was, "You could pull the hair out, but now I'm going to have to do it".

She proceeded to grab a glove and pull the hair out of the drain. Mind you that she's the housekeeper. I'm the hotel guest who's already spent thousands of dollars on the room and she's expecting me to clean my family's hair and who knows who else's out of a drain with my bare hand. She continued to clean the room with an attitude, which put me in a bad mood. Poor timing on her behalf and completely inappropriate. We stay at hotels frequently, sometimes for 2+ months. I have NEVER been told that I should be cleaning out the hair from the bathtub drain. Nothing was ever done about the report of my son breaking out with hundreds of bumps from a set of sheets, but the manager did acknowledge that something may have gone wrong during the laundering process.

The lady overcharged my dad's debit card, by $300 dollars, and she had already charged us $300.00 for our weekly stay to begin with. She later corrected the issue, but, they should be taught how to do things the correct way first.

The second issue we had is that they don't fold the towels when given to you, they made us fold the towels ourselves and said that they were too busy with other hotel guests to correct the problem. The rooms are filthy and have bed bugs as well, so you get ate up in bed bug bites. They don't carry fruit or hot breakfast. Just awful packaged muffins and different whole oat & honey bars. It was fresh fruit when we first got here, but they changed everything. This is truly the worst place. As you can see these are flea bites. I have almost 100 bites all over my body, my wife and my sons as well. We reported the problem with roaches when we first checked in. One of our sons killed 5 that evening. Over the next couple of days we had just a few bites. Thinking they were mosquitoes, we were just frustrated. Then at night things got worse.

We reported problems with bugs and they sent someone over to spray. We were told we could not get another room because they were booked. That same night I went to the bathroom and noticed tiny bugs on my feet that were biting my feet. I tried to brush them off but couldn't get them all off. I am miserable. Itch, burn, and can't wear shoes or socks. I have missed out on several meetings that I haven't been able to attend. I cannot wear pants because they rub my legs. When reported to the staff, they acted as though it's not important. I received an email from their loss prevention or whoever stating she was told we had an unpleasant experience in room 201. I am so angry! Compensation is or should be awarded.

My gIrlfriend and I recently found ourselves homeless without notice and a 1-yr old in tow to boot. After checking prices of all the hotels in the Salt Lake Valley this place seemed to be a bargain. Not so fast... as I said earlier, we have a 1-yr old with us and need a crib provided for her to sleep in. Most hotels provide one upon request. Not this place! Yesterday my girlfriend was approached by the General Manager after nearly 2 weeks of us staying here and told she needed to discuss a couple things with her. My girlfriend agreed to talk to her. The manager told her they've noticed we have excessive traffic and that one of our guests we had over 2 days ago is no good and to be careful with him around. He has a history with this company but stayed at this property around a year and is currently staying at another of their properties here in SLC. He can't be that bad if they're still allowing him to stay at one.

Now, excessive traffic? Seriously? We've had 2 friends over a few times and the rest of our guests have been family members. Excessive traffic would imply that we're up to no good by selling drugs or running bookers or something. Is it common or best practice to offend your customers in this manner? I've never been so offended by an establishment in my life!! Then this morning I was on my way to my car and lit a cigarette. An employee in the parking lot told me there's no smoking in this area, even though the signs say no smoking within 100' of any entrances and I made sure I was far enough away from any entrances before lighting my cigarette. I told her I'm getting in my car and leaving anyway so no worries. She replied with, "That's fine as long as you roll your window up". OMG, ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I was well away from any entrances but still need to roll up my window? Does my own health not count for anything?

Thus far we've been basically called drug dealers and told to inhale our own smoke over and over since our health means nothing tho I complied with the rules set forth by this company. We'll be checking out as soon as something better is available elsewhere. This place gets no more of our money!!! If you're wise you'll make sure they get none of yours either. If you do have to stay here do not have guests over or it'll be assumed you're a drug dealer... buyer beware!! This company has an agreement with the local police department (Sandy City, UT) to allow the police department to send cruisers thru the hotel parking lot and stopping to run literally each and every license plate on every single vehicle parked in their parking lot!!! Not looking out for their customers if you ask me... I'm curious though, what's the gain in that for the hotel?

Law enforcement cannot just come onto private property and start running every single plate on the premises without expressed permission from the hotel. So what is the hotel getting out of the deal? I can't say I see the benefit to them since they may lose business if the general public knew the hotel does not protect its patrons. Go somewhere else to spend your hard-earned dollar. You won't find any gratitude at this place and if you have a warrant or something you weren't aware of you may be going to jail straight from your room you just paid for... bad business practices in my honest and humble opinion. And please for the love of all you hold near and dear, do have not help to continue the success of companies like this. This is one of those companies that shouldn't survive and thrive considering the customer IS NOT THEIR #1 CONCERN!!!

Example; the windows in my room did not open. When I asked the manager if I could change rooms, she tore into me so rudely I thought about calling the police. Another example; my room key card NEVER WORKED! The sixth time going to the desk to tell them my card didn't work they were laughing, THEY WERE DOING IT PURPOSELY. Nevertheless, I made a reservation for several days and when I checked in I was shocked as the rooms are nothing like the pictures the hotel advertises. The next morning I woke up with severe back pain due to the defected mattress. I called the front desk asking for a new mattress and I was told they do not replace mattresses. I asked to be moved to another room but I was told that I have to wait until the next day. The next day I was totally ignored. The third day I went to the front desk and requested room change again and I was told that I cannot Switch! I travel a lot and spend many nights in hotels and this was the worst experience I had. I would never go back to this hotel.

We had our reservation for 6 months, since August 30, 2017. When we arrived on Feb 24, 2017, the personnel at the front desk were unprofessional and their appearance was quite alarming. Anyway, they sent us up to room 164, which was supposed to be a NS, but it smelled like tobacco, so we called the front desk, and they moved us to room 165. Okay, fine. We unpacked. We were going to a wedding cocktail party that evening (Feb. 24), and needed to freshen up. I looked around for a hairdryer and there was none to be found, so I called the front desk and the lady told me that they would try and "locate" one. Pretty strange. I waited almost an hour and called back, at that point she told me they didn't have hairdryers. I could live with that and my husband was going to go to Walgreens and buy one. But first, we decided to rest for a while before getting ready.

I opened up the bed to find the white sheets full of black pubic hair and other black body hairs, and the bed skirt had dried sperm on it. I called to the front desk for a set of full bedding. Personnel brought up just the sheets, and I said I would like the full bedding. She stormed out of the room stating I had only asked for the sheets. The rude manager brought the rest of the bedding which at the time I also asked him for a new bed skirt. He slammed our door and came back with a bed skirt, at which time my husband told him that we did not appreciate the fact that he slammed the door on us, which he replied to my husband to "get out of my face" about 3 times, threatening my husband, and then said he was calling the police and he was kicking us out. Totally uncalled for, and the police arrived.

The police told us that they wouldn't even let their own mothers stay in this hotel as it was dangerous also. They also knew that Richard **, the manager, was lying and my husband even tried apologizing to him to calm him down. My husband did not need to apologize to him because Mr. ** was the instigator. He also was unprofessional looking with tattoos, piercings, and his attire was not appropriate. The police told us that these hotels can kick anyone out at anytime even if they don't like the color of your lipstick. We were horrified, and needed to find another hotel, which we had to pay $400 more for the week. We ended up missing the cocktail party that night because of this crazy fiasco.

There is more to this situation and no one seems to want to call me back. I have called about 4 times, emailed about 3, and I sent a certified letter to corporate headquarters last week, which they received March 27th, 2017. Please give me a call or I will continue to write bad reviews on your website. This hotel is a disaster. We do believe that this manager and the other woman at the front desk had been drinking, as they smelled of alcohol and tobacco. Call me at ** asap!!! PS: The picture of my socks are a clear indicator that the hotel room floor was filthy as those socks were perfectly white when I put them on.

Do not stay here. This is by far the worst hotel in America. The staff yells at the guests staying here (by yelling I mean they curse at you). They ignore you and walk away when confronted with issues and problems at the hotel regarding fixing things and getting items at the front desk. They go through your mail. This hotel has the biggest bug problem I've ever seen. Roaches, bed bugs, mites, they bite you all night long. It's ran by people who mostly can't speak English and the ones that can don't give a crap whether you like it here. The towels and stuff they bring all smell like they haven't been washed and like cigarette smoke. They have drug deals going on all night including people coming from the other 2 hotels. They have the police here constantly kicking people out who can't pay but checked in. If you have common sense you'll read this review and take it to heart not to stay here. We have been at this property for a year and a half. When the manager was Greta (who now manages the Wolfchase location) we didn't have one single issue. Since the new manager, Diane, began we have had NOTHING BUT issues. We had to withhold payment because of the LONG laundry list of items that were not fixed last summer. Now, they have entered our room and ILLEGALLY searched it because they smelled smoke AROUND my husband and myself as we were walking through the lobby. They have trampled my civil rights.

Furthermore, I am Pagan and my religion uses incense and candles. They circulated a letter saying that we could NOT LIGHT CANDLES in the room. This is religious persecution. You may think, as you read this, that I am being silly. However, when almost every single day there is another issue, another letter targeted to you, or another problem, this is a HUGE issue. They did not just do some things that were riding the line. The FOURTH AMENDMENT protects illegal searches. This is not a small issue at all!!

Crossland Hotel Eugene-Springfield. Bed bugs, body fluids on mattress, sheets, blankets; dirty comforter; mattress pad with pubic & pet hair; no pans, silverware, cups, glasses, or dishes in kitchenette; we reserved a queen & were given a full-size bed; holes in the carpet; whole facility was supposed to be non-smoking but room reeked of cigarettes; cigarette burns in the bed linens; people were smoking in halls & doorways as well as people using ** everywhere & nothing was done about it. Mattress ripped & torn, with broken springs, the floor would have been softer. Found bed bugs in first room. Moved to a second room which was just as dirty. Pubic hair in sink. Dried food inside microwave. Pillows were the same kind toy get on a plane when flying coach & they refused to give us more than the 2 on the bed.

There were no extra blankets. They gave us a mattress pad to use as an extra blanket but it had pet hair stuck on it as well as it was stained with what appeared to be body fluids. There were mouse feces on the bed and under the mattress. The staff told us that they would strip off their clothing before they went into their house because the hotel was so dirty they didn't want to bring anything into their home. They told us bedbugs are a norm for them. The mattresses, padded chairs, drapes, etc are never changed after an infestation, even the ripped/torn ones.

The room had one "bath towel" which was just like my husband's so towels he bought at the industrial Costco for cleaning (tiny & rough). The Manager, Roni **, was unreachable as she wouldn't answer her phone. We were told that she NEVER answered her phone when she wasn't at the job. The new staff were left to their own devices without proper training.

Photos online showed kitchenette that was modern which was a bait and switch. The kitchenettes are outdated and run down. The backsplash was a piece of painted sheetrock... burn marks on countertop. Dresser with dirt, pet & human hair in it... etc. The shower had hair in the drain. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. We had reserved and were charged for a room with a queen sized bed, but were given a full size bed. We mentioned this to the front desk clerk and were told the computers were locked up. Four days later we still have not received a refund in the charges (the overcharge for the first night and for the 2 nights we didn't stay).

We ended up having to leave & get another hotel which was 39 miles away which cost twice as much money. Since there was a children's sports tournament in town & everything else was booked, so we had a 40-minute drive to the event we were attending. There was no offer from the hotel to pay the difference in our other hotel. This hotel should not be given any stars. I could go on for hours.

I called corporate and was told that the hotel is franchise and there was no way I could be transferred to a manager. I would have to file a complaint with the person who answered the phone and wait for someone to get back to me. Meanwhile, the hotel has 3 nights of lodging, 2 of which I didn't use and the other I was overcharged for.

Started great ended in hate. My family and I stayed at this hotel January 4, 2017 to February 23rd 2017. Initially I was enjoying my stay with my family. Unfortunately that did not last long. There have been numerous issues. My room has been cleaned twice on schedule without us having to make a fuss about it at the front desk. Even upon cleaning our room it was as if they did not use a checklist. There are only two towels replacements, even though we leave 4. Our dish towel is non existent. We were left a note on the counter by housekeeping to take out our own trash. When we only left the kitchen garbage full. When we brought this to the front desk attention she assured me it will be taken care of.

The following week our room was not cleaned at all. They don't vacuum the floors thoroughly. The hallways smell like illegal substances although this is a NON smoking hotel. Company trucks take up most of the parking. They should be provided their own area. Grab and go breakfast is gone by 6:45 majority of the time. Only coffee and granola bars are available. NO oatmeal, fruit or muffins. Besides James the front desk staff was never there. I would call the number every time to get service at the front desk. I will never stay at this location again with over 2400.00 using promo codes : ) spent. I really think the Salisbury location is better.

My husband and I have been staying at the ESA Orlando Convention Center in Florida for over a month now while waiting for a sale to go through on our house. We thought it would be a great place to stay since it had a 3 star rating, and allowed pets... We were wrong. We have been paying $480+ A WEEK to stay here and it's NOT WORTH IT!!! How this place has a 3 star rating is beyond me! I can't take it anymore. I can't keep suffering in silence like this. I urge everyone to keep away from this hotel chain!!! Here's a list why:

The #1 reason would be that THERE ARE ROACHES!!! We have to leave the bathroom light on and the door cracked to minimize the amount that come out at night! I saw them our first week here and have been dying to get out ever since. Unfortunately this is the only place that allows pets close to my husband's work. This is a major health hazard. I have taken pictures of them and I am prepared to share them with the world to prevent them from being stuck in such unsanitary conditions like we have been.

Secondly, the promised weekly maid service doesn't exist! On top of the $500+ you spend on the room, having it cleaned costs extra! It is not included like they say it is! We had to go out and get a toilet scrubber because of the toilet having mold on it after 3 weeks of not being cleaned. If we want clean sheets, we will have to wash them ourselves or pay them more money for a service that was supposed to be included in the booking fee. We're basically paying $2000+ a month to live in filth! It's disgusting!

You have to exchange your towels out at the service desk yourself. If they don't have any clean you have to wait til they get around to washing some. You can only get what you bring down to them so if you weren't given rags or a floor towel (like us, because they didn't have any clean - which was hard to believe), you're SOL. You also have to take your own trash out.

They offer a free breakfast from 6-9am or 6:30-9am depending on who is working, and it is always. The. Same. I thought for the amount of money we were paying for the room, surely they would have scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh made waffles or pancakes, biscuits and gravy, donuts or something along those lines, based on what I've received at cheaper hotels... Nope. Frozen waffles. Frosted Flakes. Oats cooked in hot water - that you have to make yourself. Stale bagels. Every. Single. Day. They don't mix it up. There aren't any healthy options. Just frozen waffles and sugary cereal.

The second you step off the elevator you get hit with the unbearable musty scent of mildew, body odor and curry. It takes your breath away. You'd think being a pet friendly hotel they would work twice as hard to keep it clean and smelling fresh but, nope. I highly recommend you don't walk on the floors without shoes or thick socks (not white ones) because the floors are dingy and turn your feet black. Which, if they cleaned the rooms every day, or every other day, they wouldn't be so filthy.

Don't use the cooktop for anything! It burnt my pan and nearly caught on fire without even cooking our food. Plus side, there is a Buffalo Wild Wings nearby. The ventilation fan smells like it's about to catch on fire too. The AC unit smells like mildew. The fan in the bathroom barely works so the bathroom steams up quickly - causing water to run down the walls... Which leaves a disgusting yellow puddle on the sink. I advise not leaving your toothbrushes or makeup brushes on the sink. You will end up needing to replace them because of the yellow water puddle.

The mattress is very uncomfortable and the pillows are flat. Some of the outlets don't work. There isn't enough lighting. Even though there are 4 lamps and 3 ceiling lights, they are very dim. The staff is mostly made up of nice people that want to help you but some act like they don't want to get up and deal with you needing clean towels or whatever. Twice they charged my bank account instead of my husband's after we told them to remove my card from file. I was issued a refund but it still overdrew my account and I didn't have any money for a couple days, because they charge us every Saturday for our room.

We were told that we would get 20% off for booking a month but once we got here we were informed that we would only get that back after we check out. I've read multiple reviews on this issue stating they never got their discount refund as promised and their calls to the company's customer service line have gone unanswered or returned. Same for e-mails they've sent.

There isn't a pool or a fitness facility here. We typed in specifically for ESA locations with these amenities and this one came up, but that was false. The wifi here sucks as well. If you want better wifi service to work from "home" you can pay extra for that according to their site you have to log into for wifi access.

There are parties in the back parking lot almost every night - be prepared to see beer bottles & beer caps everywhere (watch where you drive because of broken glass), and grown men exposing themselves as they urinate to make more room for alcohol.

There isn't a lot of parking because of the people traveling in semi trucks (without trailers), hummers, trucks with trailers and RV's. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely keep an eye on your car for dings and scratches because of the people who take up 6-10 parking spots. So, basically you don't want to stay here. We cannot wait to get out of here! I am 97% sure we will never stay at another ESA hotel anywhere and I'm 100% certain that I will never stay at this location ever again. Being close to SeaWorld is not worth it. I wish that we would have left our min pin with relatives back home until our new house is ready, so we could stay somewhere else but no. We're stuck in this disgusting **, roach infested, disappointing hotel. It's a complete waste of money.

I was relocating for work, reported early Jan 2017 to new office in Orlando FL. In selling home in MD in Nov 2016 stayed at Extended Stay America in Germantown MD for about 5 weeks. Checked out and drove to Orlando and checked into Extended Stay at 8687 Commodity Circle Orlando 32819 approximately Jan 4th, 2017. This was necessary as I was staying there while looking for home to buy. To date have paid the hotel approximately over $5K in the relocation process.

On 2/13/17 I arrived back at the hotel from work around 6 PM and found my key cards didn't work. I went to front desk to get rekeyed and was told I was to leave immediately because "smoke was pouring out of my room". This was from the ** attendant who later said she had never been in my room... And refused to give me her full name. (I had complained about this attendant to management on checking in as she was arrogant, abusive, and non-responsive to questions or providing room services). When I inquired about a fire, the alleged asst manager (who also refused to give me his full name but apparently first is **) said smoke was coming from my room and he could tell while he was working out in the gym on the 1st floor (my room is top 3rd floor). So while I had not been in the room for over 9 hours, he said I was smoking.

So apparently he had entered my room while I wasn't there... He said another customer had complained, but refused to give me any information. He said I had "warned" but that is a false statement. So I tried to inquire but realized both of them were stating falsehoods. I said I could not leave immediately, I would have to pack up and this would take me awhile plus I would need to find another hotel, I would need another day. I then went back down to the front desk and asked the attendant when she had been in my room that day as she said "smoke was pouring out" even though I wasn't there. She said she had not been in the room... I asked her to give me her name and she refused, and then she called the cops. She claimed apparently I was "trespassing" after paying the hotel over $5K.

So later a cop showed up at my room while I was trying to find alternate lodging. He said I had 10 minutes to get things together, but I showed him all my stuff and said this was not possible. At any rate I left with just a few things, and checked into another hotel... By the way I told him I was concerned about leaving behind PII information, and hotel management going through my things. The next day I called Extended Stay corporate offices trying to talk to someone but was unable to do so and continually got connected to customer service who said they established an investigation because I brought up "legal action". I have left continued directives to service operators to speak to the legal dept but I have been blocked. Before going back the next day to get my things I placed several calls to Extended Stay operators who then called the hotel and said I would not be further harassed in getting my things.

When I arrived at the hotel the same asst manager was there and they had all my things on a dolly. I said I wanted escorted to the room to check to see if they got everything, he refused... So I am stating they DID NOT GET ALL MY THINGS. In addition I asked for invoice, and told them I could not authorize credit card charges to that used for last 2 transactions (charged for room I did not stay in due to abusive and lying management) and I wanted these charges credited and charged to another charge card. The asst ?? manager ** refused... So I called the Extended Stay customer service number and had them on the phone. During all of this the asst manager ** kept threatening me with trespass... I overhead a conversation when Extended Stay then called him and he lied... He said I had been continually warned of "smoking" which had never occurred...

And then when I brought up the word "attorney" the hotel stated they refused to honor my legal rights to direct charges to whatever credit card I directed. I was calm, had their operatives on the line, but the asst manager ** then told me he called the cops. I was trespassing even though I was calm and trying to reach their legal department (he refused to contact them) and there were several guests present who heard me. He then said if I didn't leave the cops would arrive and "cuff me" and take me to jail... This is abuse all the way and overt threats from a guy who lied about "warnings". There were no warnings... The management at this hotel needs investigated by US Justice Department if not other state agencies.

If I could give less than one star I definitely would. Let me preface this review by stating that I was forced into the hotel life because of a "domestic violent" situation for lack of a better description and was not looking to scam some unsuspecting company, as Ben the self proclaimed manager treated me. Also, before I begin, let me say that the hotel offers something called an epp rate, which is basically a monthly rate. It is about $1800 after tax, this is something I learned the day after I checked in. My check in was done in a complete rush due to the emergency of the situation and the fact that it was about 11 pm and I have a 10 year old special needs son that needed to get to bed so when the person who was mandated by the police to pay for my room was asked if they were interested in the perks program, she declined.

Anyway, the charge for 25 days, as required by the police department to be paid for, was a little over $2200. The next day after I settle in, I learn about the perks program and the epp rate, so I got online and signed up for that. I also emailed, whoever reads the "contact us" section, and requested that the perks be attached to my current reservation that was already paid in full at check in and I explained the reason for not having done so at check in. I followed up by contacting the reservation line and they stated that it should be no problem to convert my current reservation to the epp rate, however, the hotel front desk would have to do that since I had already checked in.

When I spoke to Noel, he said he could not convert my reservation but he could, upon checkout, apply a 20% discount, which would be approx $400 for the 25 day stay (he would later deny saying this). So by the time I was forced to check out, a total of $2689 was paid for 30 nights at this hotel. Almost $900 over the monthly rate I request the day after I checked in and the first 25 days (again over the monthly rate) was already paid in full! That is the shadiest business practice I have ever experienced. And then it gets even better!

After almost one week of my stay, I went to get some important papers that I had in one of my boxes and realized that not only were they gone, but the $1000 that I had hidden there in order to secure housing for my son and myself, and my prescriptions for my back pain all were missing. Of course I was dumbfounded, panicked and extremely upset but thankful that the laptops and tablets and gaming things my son had were all left untouched. I had been in the hotel room for the previous 48 hours except for six hours (11 am-5 pm) the previous day moving my belongings into storage. I immediately went to the front desk to report this and ask if there was any way anyone could have gotten into my room.

I stated that all of the housekeepers seemed very nice and I did not believe that they would do such a thing, however, the individuals responsible for my being in the hotel to begin with, were very dishonest, shady people and I feared that they had someway gotten into my room. Vanessa, the clerk, that I spoke to was very nice, said she would leave a note for Noel, the manager, and she would check with the staff to see if anyone knew anything.

A couple of days later, I went back to see if there was any update and she stated that she left the note for Noel, who never reached out to me, and she stated that none of the staff knew anything either. I then contacted the corporate number to ask what to do and after being placed on hold and transferred at least five different times I guess I had filed "a claim" although after so many breaks in the conversation and telling bits and pieces over and again, I almost was confused as to what the statement I was making was being used for.

I continued to follow up with the front desk and was even told by, ever so helpful Ben that a report was filed and that the insurance adjuster was handling this that they did not handle this sort of thing at the hotel. I was doing all I could to keep it together at this point, considering I was having to run around to replace protective orders, police reports, etc that were missing, mind you, that little savings was all the money I had! Oh and a trip to the er to replace medicine.

About a week and a half later, as I was speaking to a friend explaining my hotel experience, she tells me that she forgot to mention that, during our moving my things into storage, she had been to the hotel and had to get a key to retrieve a bag she had left in there! Mind you, I have known her over 15 years and I would have given her a key myself had she asked, but the hotel did not know that! All she had to do, was go to the desk and state that she needed a key for (X room) because she need to get something out of the room, she was asked what the last name was so she spelled it and without even looking in the computer, Ben furnished her a key. And how do I know it was Ben? Because I also had to go to the front desk to get a key after leaving mine in the room and it was just that simple, I stated my name and room number and was given a key, no problem.

I told Ben at the time how concerned I was with the ease of obtaining a key especially after having items missing from my room and his response was "Well, you look familiar, and you're legitimate." Are you kidding me? I had, for one, never seen Ben before, and secondly, because I had my son with me, I looked legitimate? Does he not read the news? Women have been raped for this same sort of negligence! Also, if Ben, had taken the time to even verify that yes, my last name matched the room number, he would have seen that no one but me was to be given a key! I can't believe that a manager would be so careless to begin with but I would soon learn that was not all Ben was! Did I mention that they have a sign right at the front desk that clearly states no keys will be given without proper I.D.? That's amusing! Considering the manager will not even check the computer, he will just hand you a key.

So now I am left wondering who else could have been given access to my room, specifically in that small window of time, and who stole my belongings. As much as I want to know this for myself, because as of now it would break my heart to learn it was my friend, but that's not even relevant. The fact is that the hotel was absolutely negligent in furnishing my key to anyone other than me and therefore I expect to be reimbursed, at the least! This is not a situation that the hotel can claim they are not at fault for and assume some limited liability, they were 100% negligent and therefore 100% responsible.

After learning that Ben was the responsible party that I needed to speak with, he stated that there was nothing he could say or do because that would make the hotel, I believe he said liable but I can't quote him on the exact word. I was so upset at the time because not only was he responsible for my missing money etc he was refusing to apply the 20% discount that Noel had promised me. Let me explain, at this point, I have already extended my stay another week which made my checkout now for the 13th of February and was having to pay for the room nightly. My thought was that when I ran out of money, I could then check out and use the refund, that Noel had promised, and re apply to the room charge. Considering the hotel was responsible for my current situation, I failed to see this as a problem. Well not only was it a problem, I then had to ask Ben, if he would give me a few hours to go and borrow the money to pay for the room.

By this time $2500 had been paid, $2200 initially, and then I think three cash payments, not to mention the $100 cash deposit that I had given upon check out. Not only was I told no, he would give me an hour, he then threatened to call the police on me! What the hell?! Are you kidding me? I was beside myself, offended and completely devastated! I was thinking, "I am currently broke due to your negligence, I have not been late save this one instance and that's only because you refuse to apply the discount Noel had promised, you have been paid way over the monthly rate and you have my $100 deposit! Clearly a few hours is not going to cost the hotel one penny!" I luckily was able to speak with a very helpful individual at the customer relations department, Jeremy, who spoke with Ben and was able to reason with him so that he gave me the couple of hours to bring the money back.

What Ben did not tell me was that he also changed my reservation to check out the following day so when I attempted to pay for that night and one extra in advance, completing my reservation, the clerk could not accept the payment. He had locked my "folio" the next day I went back to the front desk to attempt to pay again and Ben told me that yes he had changed my reservation, that he and Jeremy had agreed to that, which was a lie (per Jeremy), and he would not allow me to pay for the room. He in essence was kicking me out of the hotel. When I asked him what his reason was, he stated multiple late payment! I could not believe this! I had a month's worth of our belongings up in that room, I could not check in elsewhere until 3 and I had to move all of my things in that short of notice!

Did I mention that, although they schedule a weekly housekeeping day, housekeeping never came to my room. I had to seek out a vacuum and vacuum my room, wait four days for clean towels, and pay the same rate as if I was a new check in. This place is unbelievable! I will say that Kelly, Avery, and Vanessa, all clerks at the front desk are awesome. They listen to me as if I was a broken record, apologized that they could do nothing, and seemed even sympathetic to situation. I have worked in the hospitality, hotel, customer service industry for years and those individuals exemplify their roles. They are obviously accustomed to dealing with complaints from customers due to something Ben has said or done, as I not only witnessed but experienced myself.

I currently await a response from this Extended Stay's district manager as was requested by Jeremy at customer relations. Hopefully someone at that end reads this prior to contacting me because I will be very clear that anything less that demotion or termination of this Ben character and immediate reimbursement of my $1000, at the very least, will be unacceptable. I will definitely carry this up the food chain. I have been humiliated and victimized. So in short, expect the unexpected at this hotel. And whatever you do, do not inform the hotel that they have done anything wrong and need to fix it or else you may find yourself being kicked out!

We checked into the extended stay on September 30th of 2016 and we were also a member of their Perks program. The coupon that we had was for 20% discount for our entire reservation. Since we were residents for over 30 days per law we are exempt from paying sales tax. We paid sales tax for 4 months and are now being told that we are not eligible to receive the perks reward program of the 20% discount as well as we are not eligible for our sales tax refund.

I have contacted the CEO as well as the COO of Extended Stay America due to the management staff as well as the general manager saying that we are not eligible for any refunds. And this particular location is committing fraud taking advantage of long-term residence as well as emptying out the Hotel while our reservation was still in force to potentially accommodate a corporate Airline employees that might choose to stay at their facility.

We were also told by management that we could sign up for a new reservation. We would have to pay an increased rate if we wanted to continue to reside at their facility after the corporate Airline employees had checked out. The staff at the hotel for the most part or helpful but a lot of the staff is involved in the click per se that is ran by management. And their rooms are in complete disarray. We were forced to leave because we felt that we were being harassed and discriminated against by management. I strongly suggest if you are looking at staying at this hotel for any length of time please look harder for a nicer Hotel that offer the same amenities in a better environment.

She was so disrespectful over some dingy towels and I felt she felt some type of way because she had to get her lazy ** up to get me fresh towels.

That's not even the biggest issue. I locked myself out of my room. Because she felt some type of way about the towels... she hassled me about giving her id. Returned Jan 6th... in person, was told the same thing, (new maintenance guy... just got trained, this is always their excuse). A new work order was put in, I was told he would be by the next day. Returned the am of 1.7.17, to check on the status, I was told a work order needed to be put in. I got angry, raised my voice, then the receptionist went off "You're outta here! My family and I moved to Colorado, at the end of October, for an excellent employment opportunity, in hopes to make a better life for my family. I have a wife and three small children. My brother in law also moved here for the same reason. We decided to stay at an Extended Stay hotel while we looked for a home to buy. About 2-3 weeks ago my sister in law complained that she was getting bit by something in her room. She complained to management. They sent their "maintenance guy" to look around and didn't find anything. He had only checked around the beds. The general manager refused to move her room, and told her she was probably allergic to the laundry detergent. No pest control professional was called. The next week or I notice something biting me, and my son. My sister in law also continued to get bitten.

Yesterday my brother in law decided to thoroughly inspect the room himself. He found that the window drapes were completely infested with bedbugs. Live and crawling around. They had a 7 month old baby sleeping in that room. At that point, I decided to tear apart my room, and sure enough found a live bedbug crawling on the back of the mattress near the headboard. We immediately alerted the front desk. The gentleman, **, instructed us to bag up all of our clothing and linens to be cleaned and that they had two rooms available on the first floor. We were to wait for the team leader, **, to come in, wash our clothes, and move our rooms at 3pm.

3pm rolls around, and ** tells us that per the General Manager, **, there were no rooms available and that we would have to go to another hotel. They were going to issue us a refund, and that the Extended Stay branch he was sending us to would accommodate us. We were already paid up for another week. We end up packing up our families, at 5pm in the cold and going to the other hotel. We were upset knowing that they had rooms available but were kicking us out on the street because they had a bedbug infestation. We check into the other hotel, exhausted, and the gentleman at the front desk says that we didn't have to pay anything right then, and we would speak to management about our situation. We were already paid for the week and our refund is basically in limbo. This morning we are told by management that we either have to pay today or leave the hotel.

We called corporate, and they first lied to us and told us our refund had been released, and then when we conferenced in our bank told us that their company policy is not to release refunds for 3-5 business days. So the first hotel put us out knowing that we wouldn't be able to pay the new hotel. With all of the trouble they put us through you think corporate would try to help us out, but they don't care that they are screwing us over, and putting two families on the street. The front desk is letting us stay tonight, thankfully, but I have no idea what we will do tomorrow. I have to go to work and I have a 7 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old. My brother in law has a 7 month old. We don't get paid until Thursday/Friday and who knows when the refund will be in our accounts.

Not to mention that my wife witnessed a bedbug crawling off of another guests trash bag the day we noticed our infestation, so I wouldn't be surprised if the entire hotel was infested. We are consumers and citizens being completely taken advantage of here, and I'm hoping someone can make it right. This company is completely unscrupulous, and shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. The property is 9253 E Costilla Ave, Greenwood Village Colorado 80112. Rooms 319/321. 319 has the bad infestation.

I checked into my room on November 11th, 2016 and checked out November 12th, 2016. The room was filthy. I notified the manager or staff member not sure what his position was that evening and explain everything that was going on in that room #341, and he stated to make sure I complain to the morning manager as soon as the morning and he too will leave notation at the front desk, which he lied and left nothing of the sort according to the morning manager.

Upon entering the room the windows were wide open in 40 Degree weather, so it was freezing in the room. Both screens and windows wide open. The refrigerator doors handles were all black, sticky and nasty as well as the microwave. I inquire about dish soap at the front desk and the staff personnel told me they have it at the front desk which he did not tell me upon checking me in after I went out and purchase some myself. There were extremely amount of human hair all over the floor by the sink and closet door leading into the bathroom that I had to sweep up, and when I pulled back the comforter there were extremely amount of hair in the bed as if they never changed the sheets. How disgusting is this, and the pillows cases are all wrinkled and dirty like it has never been changed.

The bathroom door handle is missing, so the hotel use some type of dangerous hand grip with a long sharp edge metal piece as long as half way down the shower, sticking out, which is very dangerous and anyone could very well trip, slip and fall. I almost hit my head multiple times on the device bending over from the toilet seat because that's how far it's sticking out. There is nowhere or anything to grab on coming out of that slippery shower so I almost slip twice running into this device as well trying not to cut myself on it. You can not even close the door because this gripping long sharp knife device jars right into the wall whenever you try to close the door.

I call customer relations first thing the next morning and complained to them, but for whatever reason I do not believe they are going to do anything about my situation. I went to the front desk and talk to the morning manager and showed her the photos I have taken and all she could say is I see the photos without even looking at them. I still had to pay for my room. Where is the justice in this??? I'm so disappointed in how this was handle and as I told her the night staff person lied to me. She has given me a one night free pass. I haven't even slept all night because of the disgusting, and filthy condition. Please contact me as soon as possible with help with this situation. The clerk at the front desk said, "Someone must have broke it", turned his back and kept working. That was the first warning sign. The next was the fact that I waited 15 minutes for one of the two elevators to arrive to take me to my room. The other was broken, and I subsequently found out from a long term "tenant" that it had been broken for two weeks already.

I then reach my room, and notice a large hole in the wall, large enough for an unwanted rodent to fit through. The "fully equipped" kitchen consisted of a refrigerator and a very small microwave. There were NO DISHES, CUPS, POTS OR PANS, NOR SILVERWARE... fully equipped huh?? I have to admit there were two empty ice trays in the freezer, but NO ICE MACHINES ON THE PROPERTY! At the very least they could have filled the ice trays. I proceeded to the elevator to ask for another room, and after another 15 minute wait for the elevator, arrived in the lobby. I was told, with much attitude from the clerk that there were no other rooms. He then turned his back on me.

I searched for another hotel within a reasonable distance to the current location and was unable to find one, possibly because of the Columbus day holiday. I was unfortunately stuck in this hell hole. I called corporate and was told someone would reach out to me and find a way to compensate me. That didn't happen. It was just a way to get me off the phone. During my two day stay, I realized that this was not a home away from home, but a transient location for damn near homeless individuals. I did not so any one that appeared to be of reputable character. I would have felt just as comfortable at a pay by the hour motel. Curtain rods falling off window, countertops bubbling and gross. I almost fell off the toilet seat which didn't match toilet and didn't fit! It slid off the seat and I almost landed on the floor! I can't say enough BAD things about this place. Stay AWAY! Wanted to add pics but no option to upload from gallery.

We recently booked in Arlington near Six flags. Worst experience ever in a hotel. Booked a non-smoking room that had an ash tray and smelled like a chimney. Had to go to the store and buy room air freshener in order to tolerate it. They say they have a 24 hour desk, but, no night clerk. Our key quit working at 11:30 at night and we had to call someone and wait outside while they came to re-key us. We booked with them knowing we had two people and yet they only provided one wash cloth. The trash can by our room was overflowing. There was a car on blocks in our parking lot. There was trash all over the parking lot. There was no blanket. We looked everywhere. There was only a sheet to sleep under. Very frustrated and will not do that again!

You better rent an apartment and live with some self respect than staying at this branch and dealing with their pathetic staff who thinks they are doing a favor on you by changing your blankets and bedsheets... Lol... Best part is when they think they can put the same sheets and blankets and you are dumb enough to not notice... ROFL. Guys pay and curse... Don't expect much. Thank me soon.

I recently booked a night in the Extended Stay America in Lombard Illinois. It was booked through Expedia. There were some bad reviews but I know that some people just like to complain so I dismissed the reviews. I shouldn't have! We arrived in town about 90 minutes before check in. I was told "no - Check in is 3 PM. Come back at 3 PM." Ok - I could understand that but I have traveled throughout the United States and never have been turned down to check in only 90 minutes early. At 2:45 they called my phone and told me the room was ready.

When they finally let us in the room, we notice a cleaning rag on the floor. We went into the bathroom. Lifted the toilet seat and the bowl is filled with urine and poop splatter. Then noticed that there was no toilet paper at all. When we turned down the bed, there's no flat sheet. Only one cup in the bathroom. No ice bucket. No coffee machine or coffee cups. This is an extended stay and it doesn't even have what a regular room would have in it. All that was in the bathroom was 2 bars of soap, one washcloth, one hand towel and 3 bath towels. There is no lotion, shampoo, etc. The bathroom tub had mold growing around it.

I went to find toilet paper. I spotted an employee and asked if I could get a roll or two. She said "I will see if we have any." Really? You are in the business of providing a bed and a bathroom to people paying and you might be able to get me a roll of toilet paper? Within about 30 minutes, someone was at the door with 1 roll of toilet paper.

When entering or leaving the hotel, no one greeted us at the front desk. It wasn't if they were busy just rude. So I waited an additional 75 minutes to enter a room that someone had thrown some towels in and bars of soap and straightened the bed. I will never stay at another one of these hotels again. I am at the age (50+) that traveling is something that the mister and I do. I have let all of my friends who are of traveling age know that this chain must have some severe issues. All I can say is "Wow". And not in a good way.

NO STAY at Extended Stay America (Detroit Metro Airport). Let me just say - My flight arrived at 11:45 PM. The shuttle van was called but they never did come get me... Another shuttle van saw me standing outside for too long and asked me where was I going - and he was kind enough to take me. Got to the hotel and the lady at the front desk was sweet (but sweet lady at the front desk) don't count...

Stayed on the 3rd floor. The smell was moldy - musty, the carpet was tearing up. The hotel room - was outdated. The bed was made up - but the covers (you could tell had never been cleaned). SMH - The furniture looked like someone had chewed on it. I won't even talk about the bathroom... The flooring was coming up - Lord have mercy... Terrible, terrible, just terrible. I was so exhausted from my flight - I didn't sleep well at all. Because of the moldy musty smell. Next morning... Got my bag and checked out - and walked next door to the Marriott and checked into their property.

Absolutely disgusting! We checked in this evening. The first room had such a stench of cigarette smoke that we immediately went back to the front desk to get a different room. After getting a second room, which also had a nasty cigarette smell, a torn screen, and cigarette ash in the window sill, we gave up, went to the desk to advise that it was just as bad but we were tired, and tired of playing musical rooms in this sub standard hotel. At 12:30 am, while reading, what runs across the bedspread but a BEDBUG!!! I captured it, verified online what it was, and went to the front desk with it. The lady at the front desk asked if blood came out of it when I killed it. Then went on to say that usually the bed bugs are much bigger. Unbelievable!

She called her manager at which time she started to say these are the bugs that live on the tall grasses. (Yeah, right.) I asked for a report, and she said they don't give those. And here we are, 2 am, in a parking lot in our car because they did not have another room and would not book at another hotel saying everything is booked. I have NEVER had such poor service. I have NEVER stayed at such a nasty hotel. I am just sick with my entire experience here! I am using my inhaler from the smoky room. I am terrified to bring bed bugs home and have our clothes and luggage in plastic garbage bags in the trunk of our car.

So I arrived at the hotel after I got off work and everything went pretty smoothly. The room was clean, the AC was cold, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed... All the makings of a good hotel stay. Until I tried the WiFi. I attempted to login to my phone but it just kept timing out, failing to retrieve my IP address. I then attempted to login on my computer. After attempting to connect for about 5 min, the login screen finally loaded. I logged on and started to make dinner while I watch a TV show on Hulu (something I've done at any other cheap hotel that I've stayed at for work and had no problems with - Quality Inn, Days Inn, La Quinta, Econolodge, Super 8, Best Western, etc).

I cannot get a video to play, even changing the settings to low quality. I call the front desk and explain what I'm experiencing and they say "no, you should definitely be able to just watch a video on the basic internet connection." I do a speed test, and it's.32 Mb/s (REALLY slow). I call Guest-tek. They have me run the basic tests (restart your PC, check the up address, run the speed test again a few times). Even at the best speed test of .74 Mb/s, he still says to me that "it's too slow, I'm gonna call you back in 10 min after I try to fix some things."

He calls back 25 min later (mind you, by this time it's 11 pm), and tells me that's the normal speed and then has the AUDACITY, to try and sell me the high speed internet... So I remind him, "no no no, you just told me that it was too slow and you were going to fix it. It is not normal." So he now says, "well let me try something else to fix it and I'll call you back. I'm sorry, I thought you just said that it was the normal speed? What is there to fix then?"

So I kindly clarified for him that what actually happened was, after he couldn't figure how to fix it after 25 min, he decided to call me back and LIE to me, and try and convince me that it was normal, though it's not. So now I'm going to bed at almost midnight after working on the hotel's wifi for about 3 hours, after my 13 hour shift. And it's still not even fixed, yeah. I can't say I'll be coming back. It takes 1 bad egg.

08/13/2016 I spent 1.5 hour trying to resolve an issue with my reservation, which was not resolved in the end because of disregard by Crossland Denver. My daughter and I arrived to Crossland Denver at 9 pm after a long trip to spend the night before our early morning flight. I booked our stay through Hotels.com. The manager Kevin **, who was at the front desk that night, took down my name and said that he does not have our reservation on the books. I showed him the confirmation email from Hotels.com. Mr. ** told us that we are not his customers because we made the reservation through Hotels.com, and that we should pay for a room if we wanted to stay at Crossland (while the email clearly stated that we already paid in full). I requested that Mr. ** calls Hotels.com to resolve the issue. Mr. ** declined, saying that we are supposed to call Hotels.com since we paid them, and therefore, it is our problem and not his.

My daughter proceeded to call Hotels.com. Their customer service confirmed our reservation and informed us that they will call Crossland Denver to discuss the issue. My daughter informed Mr. ** that Hotels.com said they will call, and Mr. ** in a very unprofessional manner called her rude because he was serving other customers whereas she did exactly what he had ask her to do (i.e. calling Hotels.com) and simply informed him that the phone call was coming. He said other unpleasant things to us and implied that our printed reservation confirmation from Hotels.com was fake. We were outraged by how Mr. ** was treating us as customers and my daughter told him that she will leave a negative review about their customer service.

When Mr. ** answered the call from Hotels.com he put them on hold for so long that they had to call back. He then did not pick up the phone call from them on two more occasions. Another customer in line understandably became upset that it is taking him a long time to get his plastic cups because the issue we were having with the check-in. When Mr. ** finally spoke to Hotels.com he told them that he refuses to serve us because we threatened him and were causing a problem in his hotel. In the end it turned out that Crossland Denver in fact had our reservation and received our payment, but Mr. ** could not locate it for unknown to us reasons.

Mr. ** never admitted his mistake or apologized. In sum, the issue largely could have been avoided and the problem could have been resolved much faster if the Mr. ** treated us as his customers. Needless to say, we did not stay at Crossland Denver and requested a full refund. We travel a lot but never before had issues like this or received this poor treatment at any hotel booked through a third party or otherwise.

Extended Stay #150 Fremont California. When me and teenage daughter arrived there, there were 4-5 men and two teenagers drinking beer in the driveway. When we went into the room, it reeked of Marijuana and the television was missing from the room. I went to the front desk and the teenagers (who were outside on arrival) had moved from making out (giving each other hickeys) from outside to the inside couch in the waiting room. The front desk changed the room to a room in the other B building. In this room the light was burned out in the bathroom and the smell was just as bad. We left. I discussed why we were leaving and was assured I would be refunded. Their computer "system was down."

I was not refunded and to add insult to injury, I was charged twice (06/24/2016) $203.64 in two separate transactions. I have called several times only to be told that "Ricardo was the only one who could help me." Finally on (08/18/2016) when I called the front desk at 510 794 9693, Ricardo (08/18/2016) answered the phone. Ricardo told me that I was refunded, that he would not send a confirmation of refund, and if I didn't get refunded, he reported he "doesn't care", because he can guarantee "His company will not refund any money". He told me to take it up with the credit card because he can promise, "I will get nothing by calling the hotel again." He said they refunded to the same card I used to check in. I have the credit card statement and I was never refunded. The facilities were filthy, the customer service non-existent.

So far not so good. Checked in yesterday. Unpacked then checked out the kitchen which was filthy. Garbage and dirt in the fridge and more garbage/dirt in the cabinet under the sink. Also smells like garbage. When I complained they put us in another room which was worse. The bed had been used, and again the kitchen was dirty and the coffee table falling apart. The room stunk of garlic like someone had JUST cooked in there, which I suspect was the case. Went back to first room as there were no other rooms available. Opened the sofa sleeper and the bedding was dirty, with hairs (and more ) on the sheets. We are very unhappy thus far. Today I will complain to the manager. Last night there was only one employee working the entire facility and no manager.

Edited to add...spoke with the manager who promised to get everything cleaned and comped two nights, however we just returned to the room after being away all day, and while the fridge shelf and garbage area were cleaned, nothing else was. So the freezer, filthy. Microwave, still dirty. Pullout bed, same filthy blanket and used sheets. USED SHEETS AND STICKY CRUD ON THE BLANKET FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!! I'm going to cry because basically we're stuck here. I can't find anything else in our price range.

I'll continue editing this since we're stuck here: I thought we had everything worked out. Theresa, the manager has been accommodating, as have most of the employees. As part of their new upgrade system, guests can pay extra per day for cleaning, which I did. With three people sharing a tiny space with a kitchen (being used), I felt it was worth the extra 10 bucks a day.

We were out all day yesterday, returning late and ready to relax in a cleaned up room. The room had not been touched. No new towels, and the garbage (with food scraps) under the kitchen sink was getting ripe. Beds not straightened. When I approached the front desk I was told the cleaning person said we refused service for the day (and actually wrote it in her notes). Of course this was a blatant lie. We were OUT all day; how could I possibly refuse service. I PAID extra money FOR the service, why would I refuse it? Especially after what we went through to get this room cleaned initially. So I guess I'll keep updating this post because we still have four more nights here.

Not only did I make the reservation and receive a confirmation, but the phone attendant also signed me up for their rewards program, PERKS. I also had mentioned it would be a late check-in.

I arrived at 10:10 pm and was told, shockingly, I was on a "do not rent list." My guess is they were over-booked because there were few rooms in the area. They even checked with their other hotel in the area. So my question is, if I'm on a "do not rent" list, why would they even bother to check with another hotel? Anyway, I am a 57 year old businessperson and have never even so much as received a phone call about a disturbance from a front desk! I have never received a letter, phone call, or any other type of complaint or demand from Extended Stay about any issue.

I called their customer service line and spoke to a representative who told me someone would call back. It's been almost 72 hours. No email or call. Additionally, I tried to call back on July 14th to their customer (dis) service line and waited almost 25 minutes before hanging up. I had checked out on two occasions believing my new townhouse would be ready but there had been additional work to be done in order for me to move in. This morning told the manager I'm not going to the trouble of checking out because I received confirmation it would be complete Saturday. This was 7:30 am. I told him my son would make additional reservations until Saturday morning checkout, we would call him.

When I arrived at 6:00 pm my son had gotten busy so I was simply going to pay for the night. I ask if it was ok to pay for the night and the remainder in the morning since my deposit came in at midnight. I want to keep the additional week and lose it. If that was not satisfactory my son would pay for the remainder if I was going to lose my entire reservation. In short, I wanted to pay for the night, that was a given and either have my son pay for the remainder right then or could I pay it in the morning.

He said very loudly "my manager said if you can't pay you need to get out." This occurred with people around. I repeatedly said "I'm trying to pay you now. So your manager said I had to leave?" He repeated, "He said if you can't pay you need to leave." I said again "I'm trying to pay you now." Not really believing I ask again so he said I had to leave even though I'm paying? He replied again, "my manager said you need to leave the premises. You cost us a room tonight." I replied "but I'm paying for the room." It made no sense to me.

He made me gather my things and escorted me out. I have never been so humiliated. Everyone saw this. I don't even know what to say. I apologized for arriving late, the day was crazy with my new job. Never would I dream of not paying. They lost money on a room yet I was trying to pay for the room. It's just beyond ignorant. Rating this facility on a scale of 1-5, 5 being best 1 would be a gift. I thought you should be aware of this facility. I would like to be contacted. My credit card was charged on 4/28/2016 for $100.79.

Extended Stay America at 10660 N 69th St, Scottsdale, AZ - We went to Scottsdale for cancer treatment, which was told to the reservation clerk at time of reservation. They did not give the rate for cancer patients. We mentioned this at check in and the front desk person said there was nothing he could do (his name was **). He even said we were paying a lot based on what other people staying there paid. The "customized" kitchen was a plastic tub with 2 cracked and chipped plates, 3 coffee cups and saucers, 1 spoon, 2 knives and 2 forks, a couple spatulas, skillet, and pan. You had to ask for everything.

The room was dirty the day we got there and had to ask for someone to come clean the floor. The elevator obviously needed servicing as it would rattle and jerk. That was finally fixed on the 7th day of our 10-day stay. The elevator was only cleaned once while we were there and it was very dirty. The pool turned GREEN - gross. Only saving grace here was that the beds were extremely comfortable. The blanket on the bed was disgusting and crackled with whatever was on it. I put it under the bed. Don't even want to think what was on it. The toilet even rocked as it wasn't attached!! Maids were helpful so they get a star!

My boyfriend, daughter and I needed a motel for 4 days because the water was turned off at our house for repairs. We paid for the room with a debit card. They required a 100$ cash deposit for the room which they said I would get back. They said it would take 7-10 days for the check from California to get here. We checked out of the room on March 24,2016. I started calling after the 10th day telling them I haven't received the check and everyday after. I gave them the correct address 4 times! They said it went back to California because my address was undetectable! I even made a complaint to my Post Office. There was no problem with my mail. So I told the manager at Crossland to send the check to my boyfriend parents' house. Finally it showed up there after over a month May 6, 2016!

I want a full refund on my 4-day stay. They look was so dirty my eyes burn. We just took showers then went home every night. The comforter had a burn hole and yellow stains all over. The bathroom door knob was broken dust and hair on the kitchen sink. They need to rest that motel down. I found a policy of his the room deposits and charges to the room are suppose to be Conducted. They did it wrong. I want a full refund.

He had a hard time making that. As if he didn't know how to use the key machine and instead of handling the key he tossed it on the counter. I'm here on a job assignment staying more than 30 days and very unhappy with the second room they put me in - feels like something is biting me in my bed. Bad service. It happened to me at the candlewoods suites - bed bugs and overcharged bank card without my consent. I left candlewoods to come here and now I have to find another hotel to stay. Even my Expedia documents said the hotel confirmed the reservation. It is very upsetting. The hotel did not provide us with any solution nor Expedia. The customer service on the phone, it really sucks. I spend around 5 hours trying to talk to someone in Expedia that will listen and make some sense. I cannot believe the type of service I was provided with. You live and learn and Expedia is done for me. This past Friday I was scheduled to stay at Extended Stay overnight with my girlfriend. She loves to get away from the kids and enjoy some privacy once a week so I try my best to give her that due to my job on a tough shift with long hours.. That was ruined by manager of Peabody mass location though this time around.. We had stayed there for one night on the past two weekends and felt perfectly fine going back anytime. The two weekends before I had called and made reservations same day and paid cash when arriving for room. Also paid additional 100$ deposit they charge given back at checkout after they look at room for any broke items or possibly the smell of smoke if you're in a non smoking room.. I received my deposit back both times and was actually given compliment on good we left room both times.

Well this past time my girlfriend asked me to make reservations early in week so definitely had room. The past weekend was pretty booked and we got very lucky to get a room. On Friday we packed small bags like usual and we're off to a Dr. Appointment I had in morning before going hotel. While waiting in Dr. Office I received call from hotel manager who said he had to cancel my reservation.. Upon asking why this is happening he tells me my girlfriend and I were kicked out before and he has no clue how we got back in using different names. I explained he is making a mistake and I was told that hotel doesn't want people like us staying there. I'm a hardworking man for a major US company.. I wonder what type of person I am besides a normal taxpaying citizen. I gave Identification both weeks prior.. So how could they not say something then to someone they believe they don't want there.

I was not given answer to when or why I was allegedly kicked out before and I could tell manager speaking to me was lying. Extended Stay lost a very good customer for future stays I'll tell you that. But I feel discriminated and slander was used in this case kind of. My girlfriend thought I was lying when telling her what manager said on phone. Did I lose my room because I used promotion I received in email to get 23$ off room my next stay. Are they that cheap and greedy for money these days. I was trying to save a few bucks for sure.

I'd love to speak with attorney about this. I am so disappointed in a place I was satisfied with before this weekend. The company hasn't responded to me since. You don't treat valued customers like this. The front desk attendants are amazing in Peabody. Too bad your boss made a poor decision on Friday. Is there anyone out there who can give me feedback on how to approach this more. Pretty ticked off.. Also, to top off this experience, this morning I received an email saying "thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again soon" from Extended Stay.. Is this a joke??

Although the two female hotel representatives were attentive, I was told they were not authorized to credit my stay. I immediately vacated and booked a different hotel. Upon finally speaking with the General Manager, **, several days later, I was informed that only 2 of my 6 days could be credited, due to the fact I became aware/reported the issue several days into my stay.

At one point, it was implied maybe I had brought the bed bugs in myself. In addition, I found ants, spiders, a wasp and a roach in my room as well. I was appalled and disgusted, not to mention highly offended. This was the Extended Stay at 2700 Gracy Farms Ln. in Austin, TX. I would highly recommend unless you care for midnight visitors in your bed, to avoid this location at all costs. The entire hotel stay should have been refunded immediately, accompanied by a huge apology. If only I could attach some pictures... and the worst $843.66 I have ever spent.

They are not only upbeat and enjoyable to visit with but they genuinely care about their customer's comfort. The property is a bit worn but well taken care of. The housekeeping staff are also helpful which is one area that usually lacks in other places but not there. If there are negative reviews about the staff here it is probably because the staff was doing their job and the guests were doing something wrong because the staff there are not afraid to eliminate problem guests.

I noticed that one of the electronic receipts I had received did not state that the room was non smoking so, I called 3 days before my arrival to change my room to non-smoking and I was assured that my room had been changed. Yet, when we arrived we were given a smoking room (not common sense to smoke in an enclose area). The whole building smelled of cigarette smoke, so my eyes were watery the whole time there trying to have our room changed to Non-smoking. My friends were afraid of triggering their asthma. But they insisted that we had to take the smoking room. So we were left with no choice but to leave. We drove around for a few hours trying to find another hotel. Needless to say it was a nightmare of a night.

The other room's receipt had non-smoking but they gave my other friends smoking and said that's all they had. So they had to leave and find somewhere to stay. I learned from this event to reviews on hotels... This was our worse experience ever. Both Extended Stay America's were horrible. The bathroom and towels filthy... the toilet had oxidated urine on the back part of the seat indicating that the bathroom haven't been cleaned... You can imagine our disgust. I have never been the one to write reviews but I have been staying at the Extended Stay America in California off of Ventura and Winnetka (woodland hills location) due to gas company relocation. I'm not here to complain about the service charge for room cleaning (which I thought would be a part of staying at any hotel) or the fruit flies that continuously keep coming back into my room (from where I don't know, considering I don't have any food in my room) but I'm actually here to inform others that I have been waiting in front lobby for over two and a half hours. For what you might ask? My key card isn't working and I need a new one. Now this all would have been resolved within 2 minutes had someone been at front desk.

I'm currently 8 1/2 months pregnant. I've had to use the bathroom from the moment I arrived. I normally get up for work around 5 a.m. It's currently 4 a.m. So it looks like I won't be making it into work tomorrow. I have called corporate number (310) 730-1056 at least three times now. I have spoken to a Jill, a Bethany, and don't remember the first woman I spoke to but after speaking with Jill I asked to speak with a supervisor only to be told the same thing that customer care rep told me; that the only thing they are able to do is send my message via email and text to whomever they have on file and here I am yet again hours later still waiting.

I just don't understand if it was an emergency situation then what would they have done to resolve the situation differently? I'm baffled at the way this situation is being handled, completely mind blown and I have to say I will never suggest Extended Stay America to anyone I know, have known or will know. Have stayed at ESA Deerwood for a while now. My gripe about this place is their priorities. Safety isn't one of them. My dog and I (yes the hotel allows pets) were attacked twice by two other dogs owned by an older woman on their property and nothing was done. No warning to the owner, nothing. Jennifer (the so-called manager) said it's a civil matter. Ok, it's also a social media matter and police matter. Might I add, the police disagreed with Jennifer. I have never complained about this hotel, and I should have a long time ago. They allow criminals to roam the hallways and take over the parking lot. It's all about money, and if you have it: WELCOME HOME! Just because you paint the building and put in pretty chairs doesn't mean it's the Hilton. It's a hotel with motel prices and motel people. You know the saying about putting lipstick on a pig? Just be careful staying here, it's really dangerous.

I booked a reservation on Priceline for a non-smoking queen bed for 4 days. When I arrived to pick up the key I was given the key to a room that smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. The smell was so strong that I could not let my 1-year-old sleep in the room. I kindly told the staff that I did not book a smoking room but a non-smoking room. I was told by the customer service rep Darline that Extended Stay cannot guarantee a particular room, that Extended stay uses third party companies like Priceline to get the rooms rented out that nobody wants, ie. my room.

I asked over and over to be put in another room and was told several times that the room assigned to me was the only one available and that they were completely booked and could not make any changes. I asked for a refund and was told to call Priceline. I called Priceline and cancelled my reservation. The 222.00 was refunded back to my account. My little nephew yelled and screamed the entire time because he was so tired and wanted to go to sleep.

I was then told by Darline that the only way I could secure a non-smoking room is if I went through the central reservations department and booked directly with Extended Stay. An hour later I called the main reservations line and asked if there were any rooms available at the Extended Stay in Sacramento - South Natomas area. I was told by the CS rep that there were 2 rooms available, one smoking and one non-smoking room. I booked the non-smoking room and gave the rep my debit card information, paid 80.00. I then walked back up to the customer service counter and told Darlene that I had contacted the main reservation line. They said that there were rooms available and one was non-smoking.

She stated that they were still booked for the night. I then asked Extended Stay reservation department to please contact the front desk and communicate with them... tell them that I just reserved a room. A room that they told me they didn't have. The central reservation rep called Darlene and told her to give me the room that was booked. Darlene told the rep "You do what you gotta do" and got off the phone. The rep then called me and said, "There is nothing I can do but give you the number for Customer Relations" and that I could file a complaint the next day. I explained to the rep that creating a complaint was not going to help me with the immediate problem. The rep attempted to find a room at another location but was unable to.

I asked to speak to the rep's supervisor. I explained to central reservations supervisor the entire situation. The supervisor then contacted the hotel manager who now refuses to come out of his office, and asked him why he did not give me a room. The hotel supervisor LIED ON ME and told reservations that he showed me TWO rooms and that I refused BOTH of them. I could not believe it!! He lied to reservations and would not give me a room. The supervisor told him to check me in and when I handed him my ID and debit card he slammed it on the counter and screamed, "I AM NOT CHECKING YOU IN!" in front of many witnesses. There were almost eight people in the small lobby watching. I responded, "Yes you are! I reserved a room and I want it. I am tired."

After the supervisor heard what he had done he called the front desk again and spoke to the hotel manager who then came back to the counter and checked me in. Here's the kicker...he gave me two keys. They were both to a NON-SMOKING ROOM that he had all along and did not want to give me. Two and a half hours later, yelling and screaming back and forth, a Priceline cancellation, 300.00 spent on my debit card and the mental and emotional stress... all could of been avoided if he had just given me the non-smoking room I reserved to begin with.

I cannot believe that I had to experience something like this. It was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had in my life. And I am not exaggerating. I am a Nurse for the Department of Veterans Affairs and an Air Force Medic in California. I was treated so badly, disrespected, ignored, yelled at and lied to in my face by your employees/contractor/representatives and feel that something should be done about it. No I don't want a refund, no I don't want a free stay. I wouldn't stay in another Extended Stay if my life depended on it. I would happily sleep in my car.

I could've chosen and I've stayed at a extended STAY before, so I book a room which can absolutely not be refunded by any means apparently no matter what. I was told there was only 2 rooms available for the amenities I choose which because someone else paid for it I felt I was given less valued options. So we arrive in the room, everything looked ok until I saw there was no curtains. Really no curtains. So I went to front desk and was told there was only one room left and if I didn't like it they can't help, so we moved and the lady actually said to us "most people don't complain about no curtains". Funny thing is I looked around the whole building and every window but ours had a curtain.

So we went to the one supposed room left. It was handicapped room which was ok till I turned on tv and nothing but static appeared. We looked. Someone took out the whole cable wires. So "I'm sorry I should be allowed the same privileges every other room offers" so we were put back in room without curtains and was told twice "someone would be up with some". This was at 7pm. At 12:28 still no one. We tried putting sheets up but it wasn't possible how it was set. Was woken up at 6am with the bright friggin Sun in our eyes besides the fact of ducking under the window all night so no one saw us get undressed or anything else private. It was an anniversary gift. Had to freeze jugs of water and swap them to the refrigerator side to keep groceries cool. 2nd week in the middle of the night we turned on the lights and found roaches CRAWLING IN THE KITCHEN AREA.

During the third week they announced that they were going to reseal the blacktop driveway starting on the 26th of the month and occupants should park by the pool area. There were more cars there than they had parking for so people were double parked. As they completed the parking lot section by section they never gave a new directive as to where to park. I watched as the contracted towing company towed 12 cars from the parking area, some front wheel drive cars where they drag them sideways in order for them to get the cars on the skid trucks and flat spotted the tires due to them being front wheel drive cars and the wheels not turning as they drag them up onto the truck.

After a week of being inconvenienced due to the parking lot resurfacing there was a long-term company that was staying there who decided that they were going to play baseball in the parking area. After a call to complain to the office the office stated that I had to deal with them, it was not their responsibility. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT STAY HERE.

There is have weed and smoke in the hallways. Then when I complained I said "well it just happened. It should be on video". Anastasia said they don't have video cameras there. No video cameras, no lighting at dark and staff is absent at night. How scary amongst a bunch of weed smokers.

I stayed 2 months because I had no choice and had 1 room cleaning. The next one I asked for they said "well you can come down and get the vacuum cleaner." The beds are dirty. One time I pulled the sheets back and the bed was saturated with blood. Because of the bug infestation I have had to go to doctors and get cream for my body. When I gave a bad review they lied and said my dog bit someone which is a lie and was never reported officially. Told me I have to get rid of dog or they will call the authorities.

Clay and Anastasia both managers have some love triangle going on. The manager Anastasia lives on grounds and lets her large dog roam the halls. She lets him out without a leash and poops and she doesn't pick up the fecal matter. One time I was alarmed by them calling the police on me falsely reporting my car stolen out of revenge they had against me for complaining about conditions. I was woken up, police ran my serial to car, found it to be a bogus report. Michelle at the Tuttle location did this.

They have no supplies and even in November nearly all the staff quit abruptly due to harsh management by district manager Brian **. I have resorted to buying my own toilet paper. Pillows are worn down, toilet dirty. Can't breathe and I'm on oxygen. The guy has to keep their doors open and smoke goes right in hallway. To bribe other guests to give good reviews although there are mutilate complaints from others how dirty the hotel is... Clay brought food in and we asked "what is this for"... Randomly they said it was for customer appreciation day. The Dublin extended stays are racist rude and if you give a accurate review or even make the slightest concern to their attention will find a way to make you leave.

I checked out on New Year's day at approximately 10:00 a.m. my room number was 338. I drove a friend to the PHOENIX airport and drove back to Yuma. When I arrived at home I realized I left my Sonic toothbrush in the room. Immediately (at approximately 3:31 p.m. I called the front desk) contacted the hotel and asked the front desk to check the room for my toothbrush. I spoke with Megan who told me she had my toothbrush but she wasn't familiar with the process of returning items but she would check with her manager and call me back.

She never called so I contacted the hotel 3 times on Jan. 2 asking for Sam the desk clerk who checked us in when I arrived and was very helpful. I knew she was from Yuma so I thought I would ask her to bring my toothbrush. I found out that the manager, Leslie would be back on Jan. 4 so I sent her an email. This began a nightmare for me but to make a long story short Sam brought me a toothbrush. In my excitement I did not check it to see if it was mine but when I tried to place it on my charger I realized it was not mine. It was very old and upon further investigation I realized it was disgusting, used and gross in pretty bad shape.

I contacted Sam and returned it to her in the same bag etc. she had given it to me in and I showed her my charger. She said that she would check further. I told her I would send a picture of my toothbrush. I emailed the photo to both Sam and Leslie and no one answered. Finally Leslie email me telling me it was not found. I feel very strongly that whoever cleaned my room has my Sonic toothbrush and because of my dental needs I want it back. If it cannot be found I feel that the hotel is liable and should purchase me a new one at Walmart for $99.99. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem. I expect a full refund as well as compensation for all my time and frustration spent trying to get a reply from the hotel.

I have stayed with this hotel many times and almost every time have been deeply disappointed with how I was treated. If I came in late, say after 8 there was a rude older man who would be down right awful to us when all we wanted was a room for the night. None of the morning staff liked him either and I was appalled he still worked there at all with how he rude he is to any customer.

The final and last straw was when we stayed for two nights and had roaches in our room, not just one or two. No, at the least ten. TEN ROACHES. There's no excuse for that at all. So we went downstairs and demanded a refund and to be moved for the night, at the very least to have one room refunded. Nope, he said he could throw us out for the night or just move us. Refused to be helpful or even sorry at all. The next day I called their customer service and they were about as helpful. I can't believe how rude and just uncaring they all were to customers who pay good money to come back time and again. Now we don't even bother. So don't ever stay there. It's literary a roach motel.

I stayed at this location on 12/18/16. At 4:00 AM, I was awoken by someone attempting to break down the door. I got 911 plugged in my phone asked who it was. A man replied, "Sorry. My list didn't say anyone was in here. I was trying to fix the door". At 4:05 AM, I called the front desk. I spoke with Marcus, who said that yes, that was him and apologized for the bad experience. I laid in bed awake terrified he might come back. A door is not something you fix at 4 in the morning. Furthermore, you're breaking it down to fix it?

On 12/19/15 at 3:54 PM, I called this hotel requesting to speak to the manager. After having a rude conversation with the front desk, I was finally transferred to the manager - Jack. Jack advised me there is no employee there by the name of Marcus. I asked if he could check with his employees that worked the late shift to see if an employee did in fact make this error in judgement. Jack ignored my request and stated to me, "You should of contacted the police. There is nothing we can do about it". I kindly suggested to Jack that for his customer's safety, he may want to be aware of such an occurrence. I received no empathy, apology, or concern over what I experienced at the Hardin location in Little Rock. I have been in management and customer service for ten years. This is unacceptable, and I would like a refund. More importantly, I believe there is a Marcus there. I am seeking answers. Thank you.

That evening I saw that two books had been charged to my Amazon account for my Kindle. I called the next morning and spoke with the manager who told me they actually did NOT find my Kindle, they must have made a mistake. I was appalled so I contacted the corporate office for Extended Stay. The Corporate Office contacted me and basically accused me of being untruthful about what happened! My husband and I is in the process of moving to South Carolina for his new job. We heard about Extended Stay and so we stayed at the one on 5430 Forrest Dr. Columbia, SC., cause it's close to his work. The stuff was alright but this place were infested with bugs and cockroach. My husband keeps telling them about the cockroach issue and they said they'll spray the room but it gotten worst instead. My husband works long hours he needed to get good night sleep but this bugs wakes him up in the middle of the night crawling on him! He didn't really have much time to find another place until I was finally able to be with him. So we moved to the one in Irmo.

Extended Stay in Irmo: We checked in on Sunday, December 20th. During our checked in they asked us what day we want our room clean and so I picked Friday. The first room they tried to put us in we're smelly, unmade and dirty. It looked like someone had just checked out of it. So hubby went back to get another room. They put us in room 408 with a king size bed. On Thursday we went to visit families and didn't get back until Saturday night. When we got in our room were NOT cleaned. So hubby told the front desk and they said they'll clean it Sunday.

We waited again on Sunday still no housekeeper. So I went to the front desk to inquire about it and the housekeeper and front desk clerk was seating in the office. They saw me coming but took them a while to greet me. They were laughing and finally the one that was seating on the other side of the desk came out and talked to me. I told her that our room was NOT clean as they told us they're going too. A lady behind her said that it will NOT GET CLEAN TODAY. I AM THE ONLY HOUSEKEEPER AND I AM DONE FOR THE DAY!

At this point I was explaining to them the reason is that we have a dog and I needed to know when they clean the room so I can either be in the room or take the dog out with me when they come to clean. They told me that they'll get it clean the following day (Monday). I asked if they'll clean it again on Friday, the housekeeper said no cause we only get service once a week. So I told her that it was NOT cleaned the day it was supposed to. They both told me that if I want they can change my service to Monday or wait until Friday again! At this point I was a bit frustrated so I agreed to move the service to Monday.

I worked in the hotel industry for well over 15 years. I started as a housekeeper and worked my way up to management. Now I am a self employed and travel with my husband. We stayed in many hotels both in upper and lower class but never had encounter such issues. I like the idea concept of your company. But the service really need to improve.

It has been over three weeks, and despite several attempts to speak to someone senior at the hotel, I have not been able to. The manager told me that corporate would reimburse me. He then gave me the maintenance desk number and asked me to follow up there! I have narrated this to over seven different people and have had zero help. The hotel is not even giving the staff details to the investigating detective. This is plain ridiculous.

Well a month and a half later we were informed we would have to leave because they overbooked for the annual oil convention. After talking to the manager we were told we could return in 2 weeks but that was the best they could do. I cannot believe this hotel threw away the money they could have made from us for the 7 months we were there.

This location is a block from MD Anderson. By the way the people at this location are very RUDE & have no respect for customers. We also had trouble getting our room cleaned and beds made i.e. we had to call the desk for the service we needed. So you people heading to Houston might consider another hotel chain for accommodations in the Houston area. Staying at your place has been a nightmare. From check in on 11/13 to check out on 11/17. Your place had no coffee pots, cups, or any kitchenware. I went to front and they told me due to the hotel being sold out, they were out, and if I had better luck the next day to ask again. I did, and still no utensils or kitchenware. Next, I turned on the kitchen faucet and the water was clogged, I called in that same day 11/13 to front desk, and they said they'd put in a work order. The bathroom faucet had the same problem. When I went to the morning coffee I let the elder lady there that our sinks were clogged. Still with the same reply of some work order that never came in even as we left.

Then comes the checking out part. I asked your manager at the front if I may check out late as I was working in a conference at Sands, my baby wasn't feeling well and if we may check out at 2, just to make sure I would have enough time. She told me not until 1:30. I told her I'd get back ASAP to make sure I get my belongings. My husband picked me up and due to traffic I got back at 1:46pm. The room understandable was torn apart, just to find your housekeepers going through my belongings telling each other what they were going to split amongst each other.

I remember Terry's name. I told them "wait a minute these are my things." She told me "you can't take them back," I said "why not they're mine." So she told me "you can have it back if they ok it in the front desk." Well beware and behold your front desk smiles and says very cynical, "you were supposed to be out by 1:30," I said "yes I know, but I tried calling and no one answered." So after a back and forward she let me go back to get my things, only to then telling your housekeepers where our things were.

I started my Gucci bag, my food, my cloth, only to instead of being helpful they call your manager to tell them I was harrowing them. And as I explained to her, I know the things I had in there. In their brown bag on their bins were all my belongings. All my food bags torn apart. My paper utensils such as cups, forks, plates, paper napkins were tucked and hidden in there. Your manager saw all this and she starts screaming at me that I had to be out by 1:30. It explains why she works there. Our rooms smelled of cigarettes and weed, when it clearly said non-smoking rooms.

Exel your employee was the only nice person that saw that I was pulling my clothing and babies items from a trash bag. He wanted to help but your manager called him so he wouldn't help. I normally don't stay at these places, it was my first and will be my last. I was booked in 10 days at a location in Chicago. I called my boss to please cancel it. I am the one feeling harassed and humiliated to see my things pulled out of trash bags. My son's favorite sleeping pillow stayed behind, as I did not want to go back any longer.

I left a message at your corporate office, but no one has replied. I sure hope this is not the norm, and perhaps your claims department is overwhelmed by the horrors I have been through. On Friday when I asked for the towels it was around 9 pm and I called on 4 occasions to never have a reply back. In all fair I believe a refund should be given back. I value customer service as it is in the business I am in, but your place has failed completely.

Last week she upgraded me to a larger room on the first floor after telling me all pets had to be on the 1st floor - of which half of the rooms are in the basement. One week later she calls and tells me she has had three complaints about my dog being aggressive and if it happens again I will be out! This is a trained service dog and I am the only handler and not one incident has ever happened.

I asked for a report or a copy of a complaint or even an explanation and she said she did not have to disclose that information. I am reporting her and this hotel to the U.S Department of Justice to investigate. I will swear on the Bible she made all of this out so she can sell the room we are in for a higher rate. This is a non-smoking hotel yet you smell nothing but cigarettes and Pot all night long. I complained because the cleaning people never showed up on this Saturday or Sunday and on Monday she makes up a disturbing excuse to get us out.

This place is a zoo. Strangers running around knocking on your door all hours of the night. Lori states she can do whatever she wants as this hotel has a private owner. On Sept 6, 2015 I visited Crossland Economy Studios - Atlanta - Norcross. 200 Lawrenceville St., Norcross, GA, 30071. When I originally booked the hotel on CheapTickets, I filtered that I wanted a hotel with a pool and breakfast. This is one of the most reasonably priced hotels which came up in the system. After comparing the amenities I paid - expected that when I got there, they would have all that they said they did. Upon checking in I was told by the hotel from desk assistant that the hotel was totally booked and I would have to wait a few hours. I explained that I traveled from out of state to attend a concert and I had limited time to get there so she agreed that my cousin could stay and check in early for me since I prepaid. While explaining my reservation I told the attendant that I had reserved a room with a double bed and I wanted to know where the indoor pool was located which was posted online.

She stated that the property did not have a pool at all. This frustrated me because that's the only reason I chose that property. The main thing I was looking forward to was having a pool there. I traveled from Washington, D.C. to Greenville, NC to bring my younger sister and she was expecting to swim. The next problem was there were no double beds at all on the property. The next issue was I sent my daughter to the front desk to get clean towels and wash clothes. The person at the desk told her that the guest had to trade their old linens for new ones in person. So, my daughter came back and gave me that message. I called and asked "When does the maid round? It states online that you all have maid service." The lady told me I could only get that service if I was staying 7 days or more.

This infuriated me even further. Everything about this hotel was a lie. The staff members were lazy and rude and I hated my entire stay at this location. I would never ever recommend anyone staying here. It's closer to being the "Bates Motel", than you think. I felt that this entire stay was a waste of money and I, even though I've stayed in extended stay properties before, I seriously question the professionalism of this establish and I'm turned off by this brand.

Let me just start off by saying, I have only did a review once in my life. But I felt like to share. This place was horrible. The front lot and the lobby looked decent (2nd fl), my room was on the 1st floor (Dungeon). As soon as I got off of the elevator; the smell of dog, cat, & possibly human urine hit me in the face. The hallway was filthy, I mean terribly filthy. So I get to my room, some woman is sitting on the floor on the phone and the person in the room next to mine had their door wide open. I go into the room and I immediately notice that the floors in the room are just as filthy as the hallway. I kept telling myself that it's only temporary. So the first night I stayed was cool (as can be considered), however, when I got up that morning there were like 2 centipedes in the tub and on the bathroom floor. I call the front desk to tell them about this and the woman's response was, "so what do you want me to do". I just hung up the phone.

The next morning it was the same thing. Centipedes in the bathtub. I didn't even bother calling, just killed them and went about my day. So the final day that I stayed at this place, I went to the front desk and asked for a bath towel. I almost fainted when she said they didn't have anymore. Like wtf, what hotel... Extended Stay hotel runs out of towels. I will never ever in my life stay at another Extended Stay in another city in another state as long as I live. This place needs to be burned to the ground. I also guess I failed to mention the thick marijuana smoke in the hallways as well. This place was deplorable. I carried my pistol to the front office. I have booked my reservation at Crossland Economy Studio, 1210 Murfressboro Rd, Nashville, TN-37217 for two weeks from 08.15.15 to 08.29.15. Confirmation No. **. But at 08.28.15 they checked out me without informing when I was in office. At evening when I backed from office they inform my room is checked out and all my luggage was in office. I told them I pay for two weeks but he can't hear anything. I told to show me the papers but he said drawer is locked. They mess-up my all cooked foods and ingredients. It's really horrible, injustice, intolerable.

Me, my family and my 2 sisters just came back from an Alaska cruise, we booked 2 king rooms. The most important I booked to stay in this hotel is the free airport shuttle. I was so shocked when we arrived at this Tukwila Seattle (15635 w valley hwy) I was told we cannot stored our luggage at the concierge because our rooms won't be ready by 3 pm. I understand most hotels check in time is at 3 pm but we don't want to check in, all we want is to store our luggages so that we can go to downtown Seattle. After an hour trying to call the customer service, still no answers. So I asked the receptionist to downgrade our room to a queen bed so that we can at least put our luggages in the room.

Finally after 2 hours we have a downgraded room then I asked about the free shuttle to the airport. I was told the guy didn't come to work in the morning shift therefore there is no shuttle. We have to hail a cab to go to downtown for $40 each for a cab. The round trip of the cab costed us $160 and included the cab fare from the terminal port to there. I think I should get some reimbursements for my cab. Will never stayed at any of this hotel ever again. Such a disgusting and horrifying experience

I reserved a room through Extended Stay America and arrived at a place in Tacoma that looked completely different than the one the previous night in Oregon. Really sleazy and dirty. Staff very rude to all customers, clearly not at all interested in being of service. Told a handicapped man that he had to bring down his own dirty towels and provide his own toilet paper. We walked towards our room with increasing uneasiness because the place was so run down and creepy. Opening the door, the smell of the "non-smoking room" was so awful and smoky we had to cover our mouths in order not to gag. The place had not been cleaned, the dirty towels and bedding were strewn about, although we'd been told the room was ready.

When I went to cancel the reservation, the staff was unapologetic and clearly unconcerned. There was a definite sense that the hotel is a front for illegal dealings, perhaps drugs and sex trafficking. A truly AWFUL experience to be avoided at all costs. This company is apparently a "sister" company of Extended Stay America but I wouldn't think they would want their name associated with such a dirtbag sister! The two other Extended Stays we stayed in were fine and the staff helpful.

From day one while on a business conference maintenance pounded on my door with the do not disturb sign out until I answered. He needed to get a count of chairs and when I told him I was on a business call he went on and on about how he had a job to do. Well he didn't lose his but I lost my deal and the 10K signing bonus. Moving on our room was cleaned a week later and 500 vanished along wine glass that we had tossed changed and other random odds and ends and we didn't put in storage. Along with this were childhood memories my grandmother's very tiny only valuable in my heart wedding band and a diamond band.

Months later nothing has been done. Corporate has been aware for well over 30 days and nothing has been done. It's disgusting to say the least and the worst part is when you stay here you get to know other guests. I have talked to a few whom also have items stolen from their rooms and nothing was done about their complaints issues. The icing on the "gossip" is they know who did it and that employee still has a job. WOW! I could keep writing but I do need to work so please stay somewhere else.

Made a reservation for night of Aug 2 in Whippany, NJ. When we went to check in could not find the hotel in the area they sent us. I believe the address was 225 Route State Route 10. After driving back and forth on Route 10 for nearly an hour we could not find the hotel. Being late for our appointment we decided to leave and go to the party we were scheduled to be at. When we got to the appointed place we called the hotel and canceled our reservation and were notified it was done. I received my credit card statement, found that I was charged for the night even though we canceled. Am now in dispute for the charge.

I stayed a night at Extended Stay. When I was getting ready to check out getting stuff together I was looking for my wallet. I reached my hand in chair cushion... I found my wallet, I also found a dirty razor blade which cut my finger! After telling front desk they seemed like they didn't care, rude even while they followed protocol and took information. They said they would pay for hospital bills at least got shots cleansed and bandaged. Would need a couple stitches but by the time I got done talking to them it had been a couple hours and they had to bandage it. Fear of closing up infection hospital referred me to get HIV and hep tests!!!

When I get back and show them paperwork they again were rude. I told them I'm not the suing type maybe they could give me a CLEAN room for a week but they gave me one night instead and after 45 mins they harassed me with pictures from the room I got hurt. There was one with a sandwich bag over fire alarm (I was in smoking) which I noticed but I thought maybe it was faulty or something they did. I gotta laugh and didn't think nothing about it. The second was gum smashed in a socket still dripping 5 or 6 hours after I left. Smfh. They were obviously trying to cover their own tail and/or trying scare tactics to keep me from suing, but after they approached me like that and were so rude and nasty after I got hurt in of the most unacceptable ways, I mean what if it was a kid looking for a toy? I have no choice. Have contacted lawyer and I hope they nail them good.

This place is disgusting and the staff is extremely rude. They act like their job with customer service is an inconvenience to them. I see now why booking through priceline.com is non-refundable. Upon checking in and getting to my room, I noticed a foul smell of mildew and body odor which was overwhelming. Then to make my experience worse my bed sheets were full of hair and I could tell they didn't even change the linens. They just pulled the sheets up and made it look as if they did, but when I pulled the sheets back to find even more hair you could see the wrinkles and outline of the person that slept there the night before. I was disgusted, and went to the front desk to ask for fresh linen and I would put them on and the lady gave me attitude about them just being changed and told me that they didn't have any clean linens available and that she would call my room when she did. I never received that phone call.

It's pretty bad when a hotel is so filthy that you have to drive to Wal-Mart and buy your own bed set and Febreeze to try and kill the smell. On top of all that I have found numerous cockroaches running across my floor, countertops, and dresser. I am not even sure how this hotel stays in business and I'm pretty sure that in the near future it won't be. I met three other couples that upon checking in and got to their room came back to the front counter and checked out. I have to say I would have been right there with them had my stay not been non-refundable. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I travel a lot. I will be doing my best to keep people from Extended Stays. This place has a big management problem and is in need of a serious renovation.

My husband and I just has the most horrible experience with the Extended Stay America in Denver CO. We booked this hotel because we were exhausted after doing some hiking. I booked while we drove over Denver. Once we got there the receptionist (really unprofessional by the way) asked us to wait for the cleaning lady to finish the room (around 5pm). We seated for 30 min for her to finish. While waiting we noticed that people were coming out of the elevators with dogs. We went to our room, which was supposed to be a pet free room. When my husband went to bed he started to feel very bad with allergies. He is highly allergic to cats. I went to the front desk to complain. They argued that it was a pet free environment. We had to leave the room at around 1 am because of it. We are very disappointed with this hotel.

This is unbelievable but true. My family to include wife, daughter and grandchildren arrived confirmation number in hand. We got there one early prior to 3pm check-in. The clerk said she knew our reservation but we had to wait for 3pm check-in. At 3PM another clerk took over and told us we had no confirmation. I showed her the confirmation number but she could not find it. Thus far, one clerk saw a reservation but the other claimed no reservation. It gets worse. We are told the manager was waiting to resolve things. After about 30 minutes the manager did us a favor offering us a room with burnt sheets and smoke filled air, a room nobody else wanted.

Meanwhile, families after families came after us and got their correct rooms, not us. We called Extended Stay booking office who had no trouble finding the reservation. We were told there was a computer glitch at Crossland Economy. The heartless folk at Crossland had us outside in the heat for an hour pretending to resolve the issue. When I called Extended Stay booking representative (and Crossland is an Extended Stay hotel), the representative spoke to Crossland directly and indicated to me that no one at Crossland was helping, confirming they were letting us stay outside like fools hoping we would just go away. The kind rep at central booking took pity on us and got us into another hotel 40 minutes further out.

I complained to Extended Stay guest relations who would not extend to us even the smallest of considerations. At least, give us a comparable rate at the alternate site. We drove 40 minutes away, wasted 3 hours and paid a lot more for Extended Stay buffoonery. I would leave it to the reader of this review to make their own assessment. Extended Stay America has some good locations. But they also have poor ones. Be leery. Stay away from Crossland Economy Orlando UCF.

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The room smelled, the beds were unmade when we checked in, the toilet leaked, there were cigarette burns on the bed linens. I will never stay in the hotel no matter where I am again.
