People from BuyATimeShare are easy to talk and work with. I spoke to several of their ad executives and they were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The customer service team was great, too. They created my add in a timely manner. It was quick and easy to get set up. I'd recommend them.

I have a property for sale listed at BuyATimeShare. I've only had it there for only this month or two so we'll see if there's any results coming in, but their people are quite quick at responding if I have inquiry.

Reviews had said that BuyATimeshare calls back and keeps in contact with people and I found that to be true. Everybody I spoke to has been friendly and very nice to deal with. They're professional and seemed to know what they're talking about. If I don't have my timeshare out there, I'm not gonna sell it, so advertising with them has got to have a good effect on it. As a whole, my experience is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

I talked to Debbie who was nice and had told me what BuyATimeShare offers which I went for as I thought it was better than other companies. We used the timeshare for ourselves then but I want to sell the house because I don't need it anymore. I can't afford to pay the dues now, we are in need of money and we're selling it. The sales execs have advertised it for a while already and I should sell the house in about a month but I haven't heard anything yet from them. They've been very helpful, though.

I have been considering selling my timeshare for a while so I called BuyATimeshare. I have my timeshare listed for a month now. It seems they are doing the right things but I haven’t gotten any calls yet. I’ve had a couple of calls from the advertising executives at BuyATimeshare, and we wrote some reviews on our experience with the company in order to help give some more information to whoever is looking.

BuyATimeshare's customer service team has been good answering my questions. They're efficient on everything. The advertising executives who helped me get my property listed, on the other hand, were efficient in their way of promoting my timeshare. I had a good interaction with them.

My experience with BuyATimeshare has been good. The way they list is multiple timeshares. Their advertising department have been very pleasant. They talked to me about putting the timeshare on the market. They said they'll call me and asked me if I could list any details about it. The timeshare that I'm trying to sell belongs to my mom and I haven't had any prospective buyers or any offers on it yet. Overall, they’ve been very cordial and right on top of everything to make attempts to sell it. I recommended them to a friend.

I used BuyATimeshare.com to sell a property and so far, it's not so good because it's been listed for two months now and still not sold. But their people has been very good and helpful. They check in with me to make sure I understand everything on the website and the way too look to see if people had been looking. They talk to us every three weeks and want to smoothen everything. I would recommend BuyATimeshare.com.

    Updated review: March 29, 2016

On Monday 28/3/2016 I forwarded an email to BuyATimeShare.com to continue outlining my dissatisfaction regarding the status of the non sale of my timeshare. At 8 am (ES daylight saving time) on Tuesday 29th March 2016, I received a phone call from Luis ** from BuyATimeShare.com. He was very well spoken and after discussing my issues he provided me with some advice to possibly accelerate the sale of my timeshare of which I accepted and I am now satisfied that the matter has been resolved.

    Original Review: Dec. 28, 2015

I was contacted by Quincy ** in July 2015. He was very pressuring and persistent for me to sell my timeshare at Peninsula Bay Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. He was most happy to relieve me of $1350.00 AUD, indicating I would have no trouble selling my timeshare and compiled a very impressive advert. He also advised that I would be regularly updated as to the progress. I have heard nothing and feel I have been seriously ripped off. I have totally lost interest with the timeshare concept and will not be suckered into buying another. Buyers beware. The concept is not as good as it appears.

I was contacted by Quincy and he said his company would be able to sell our timeshare because they do that all the time. I told him I didn't believe him but he assured me they would work with me until sold. Once I paid $1000, I heard from them just to let me know that I had to go online and write my ad. When I have tried to get updates, because I never hear from them, they always tell me to go online and I can edit my ad whenever I want. They have been nothing but a scam. Once the timeshare did not sell, Quincy called to tell me that renting would be the way to go, so that was another $100. They owe my $1100 because they have done nothing for me! I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. In my opinion, they are another SCAM!!!

I am confused by these reviews. BuyATimeshare offered to created an ad and market my VA Beach timeshare for a subscription fee of $14.95/month and they will pay for the first month. If an offer is received, I can negotiate with the buyer and I'd have the buyer pay the closing costs of the transaction. The company has not asked for any large amount - or any amount for that matter upfront except for the $14.95 monthly fee, which the first month is waived. What are these complaints that seem to involve large sums of money upfront? There are no other fees as presented to me except the $14.95 which can be cancelled at any time.

Listed two timeshares with buyatimeshare.com and was assured they had buyers "lined up" to purchase. We reduced the price numerous times and never hear a thing from this company. They told me they had used up my whole fee with advertising costs so there would be nothing to refund. This listing was to stay posted until it sold. It is no longer on their website. Horrible company. BEWARE!!

I signed up with Buy A Timeshare on Nov 18, 2014. They charged my account and posted my ad online. I got a phone call from another company on Jan 2, 2015. I told them I already listed with another company and they asked me what my contract said. I told them I NEVER got a contract - they were shocked and so was I - to think I was that dumb. I emailed Buy a Timeshare and told them I never got a contract and to email me one - they called me back and said it was listed online with my ad ---- I told them they were doing nothing with my sale and that I was going with another company.

I filed a dispute with my credit card company but they sent in a copy of the contract to my credit card company and made it sound like I had it all along. I got notice from my credit card company and they said they have to recharge my account. So I lost that dispute. In my anger I emailed Buy A Timeshare today and told them I WAS RIPPED OFF = they lied and to cancel my ad -- take it off line. The 2nd company I talked to today and they told me that if it was not sold in 90 days I would get a refund guaranteed - that will be at the end of March. I will email them if there is no sale and hopefully get a refund - but for Buy A Timeshare - if I had the contract and did not see a guarantee I would have canceled right away. My mistake - begging for a contract I did not have.

When we signed up they told us ALL closing cost were covered. We advertised with Craigslist and got a buyer. I had the buyer make an offer on our ad on Buy A Timeshare, waited to days and heard nothing. Called them and was transferred to a message machine. Second call the same. Third call I demanded to talk to someone. I was transferred to a gentleman who said he work in a real estate office and it would cost around $1500 to close it.

I ended up closing it through our Timeshare. Then tried use their website to get an address to write them a letter about their service. No address available there. Then emailed them - got a call back. The man said he was going to pull the recorded phone call and get back to me today. He assured me that the sales people do not tell people all closing costs are covered, that the buyer usually pays the closing costs. Well surprise, he didn't call me back today. I demanded a partial refund. Found their address on this site. Next I will write a letter to see if I get a response. Wouldn't recommend them!!!

We were pressured for 2 years by Quincy to sell our timeshare in Thailand and in the end, relented. We paid out $ AD1500 for the ad and were told this was it, no more to pay, not even a percentage of the selling price and the ad would be on the website until the property was sold.. In 4 months, nothing happened but yesterday got a call for another $ AD500 which would put our ad on top of the list. He was not interested in us reducing our selling price and when I told him we are pensioners and cannot afford to pay out more, he got very curt and short and said he would market it accordingly and hung up. My impression is he is not interested in selling anything, only bleeding unsuspecting people for money. It has cost us money, but we are wiser. He is a scammer.

I was pressured by Quincy to sell and he did not explain well. He was talking and asking for information. My assumption was that I was discussing the sales and purchase whereas he went ahead and charged US$1500 to my credit card. This I did not approve of. BuyATimeshare.com should not pressure people but discuss properly.

When I talked to Quincy ** on April 2011, he talked me into giving him $979.00 to sell my timeshare. He said the timeshare would be sold probably before the credit card bill comes in. Of course, he said his company wasn't like the other companies that take your money and run. Very smooth talker. I talked to him last month and told him I want my money back. Please people, do not do any business with this company. Do not buy a timeshare at any cost. When you do, they have you by the **. You can't sell them, give them away or give them back to the company but you are paying maintenance bills that keep going up.

I received several calls from Quincy **, and I didn't like the way he was pushing. I understand that maybe that's the way sellers work, but he was extremely pushy. I told him I was going to talk to my partner, and after I told him what my partner said and clearly told him that we were not interested right now but maybe in the future, he told me "You are an idiot!" Then he hung up. If I was thinking about paying for their services sometime in the future, but definitely after this incident, I surely wouldn't be pleased to do it. What can you expect from people like that?
