After incurring a flat tire driving to Tampa, FL from Manlius, NY for a vacation we were looking for a reputable repair shop. The first place we called was a competitor, one we trusted because back home the owner always took care of us. However, we were told the nail in the tire was in a spot that couldn't be repaired, and that we had to purchase another but comparable brand. Furthermore, one lug nut couldn't be removed and cutting it off involved removing the brake. Sounded like we were being taken to the cleaners, especially when the cost with labor was quoted to us - $850 ($400 for the tire). For a tire! So, we called the local car manufacturer's dealership and told him of our woes. He assured us we needed the same brand tire, that the "comparable tire" had incompatible tread. That he had it in stock but the cost to fix everything would be $870.

Finally, we called Tire Kingdom who said they had the tire for $270. The dealership, when I told him Tire Kingdom's tire price, immediately said he would match it and gives us $50 off to cover the down payment we made. We are in our 70s and I began to think we were being played like Okies from Muskogee. No disparagement to Oklahomans, just an allusion to being foreigners. We decided to take the car to Tire Kingdom on E Fowler Ave. and were told the tire could be repaired for $149. It was ready in one hour (this is a Monday). And to boot, they added a valve cap which was missing, a small but noticeable touch of superior service. We couldn't have been happier. 5 stars! P.S. (the lug nut was stripped but came off and they affixed a new one).

First mistake was actually going to Tire Kingdom in Jupiter Fl. Last year we bought two new tires, installed, and balanced. Over a year, we kept going back to have the all tires rebalanced and rotated (the other two tires were fairly new). OVER A YEAR we dealt with a vibration between 65-75mph! Yesterday we took it to a real mechanic shop. The tires had NOT been balanced properly! Not only that, but we also learned the brake pads we had installed, the same time as the new tires, we so cheap that we need new ones! This is all on a secondary car that is driven less than 4,000 miles a year! Never again will my family take a car to any Tire Kingdom.

I took my car in due to a very strange noise coming from the rear of my car when I'd get up to about 40 mph. They took my car out for a test drive, and checked it out for close to 2 hours, but could not find anything wrong. Luckily, the noise is gone this morning. Super impressed by Ed new manager and his honesty! Many mechanics would've said something was wrong, just to charge me a huge amount of money. It's super awesome to see honesty like this!

I have been a loyal customer of Tire Kingdom (now Mavis Tires) for over 6 years now. (see my other reviews for Tire Kingdom) Having worked for the TCB, the parent company. Today, I am no longer a patron of Tire Kingdom. Here's the reason why: Two weeks ago, I took my car to the Tire Kingdom at 2634 SW Edgarce St., Port Saint Lucie, FL., which is 3 miles from my home. My TPMS light was on, and I assumed that I had a nail in one of my tires because I live in a community (Central Park) where they are still building homes. Tire Kingdom said the only thing wrong was the tire pressure, so they corrected it to 32psi. They also recommend that I get new shocks and struts, and a stabilizer bar.

So a week later, I took my car back to the shop for work. Cost $1800. While I was there, I was told I needed a new TPMS sensor...Cost: an additional $69. I drop my car off, took a Lyft home and picked up my car (via another Lyft) at 5:30 PM. With the new shocks and struts, and stabilizer bar installed, my car was riding like it was brand new.

A day later, the TPMS light came on. Also, my car was squeaking with noise from the new struts. So I dropped off my car again. Same: Lyft drop off, Lyft to pick up. Got home, light came on again. Rinse and Repeat. This was Thursday. Same story...Oh, the psi was not correct. Friday, drop it off again. 8:00 PM, pick up at 5 PM. The TPMS light is off, finally. Friday night I'm driving to West Palm Beach, TPMS light flashing on an off. I'm scared because it's raining out and I'm like "OMG, not tonight...not on I95").

Fast forward to today (Saturday) I take my car back to the same location. This time they have a trio of excuses.

1: "It's your spare tire. It needs the sensor. That's what's causing your TPMS light to come on." $200 for a new sensor for the spare tire. Uh..I knew that was a bald-faced lie and I called the tech out on it.

    2. "Oh the tire pressure is set to 40 psi" - "What? You are the guys that tested all my tires."

    3. "Oh the battery has gone bad on the sensor. We will replace the battery." The TPMS light is still on after the battery was "supposedly" replaced.

    4. "Oh there's an antenna somewhere in your car that's not transmitting to our pad." "What in the world? Man, just stop with all the lies."

In the end...the manager refunded me the part for the sensor. He did not offer to replace the one that they put in my tire. So not only am I riding around with the TPMS light on, but my car is still squeaking. They never fixed the issue with that after they installed the new shocks and struts. I now have to find another place to take my car and have the TPMS sensor replaced - again. More time and money. To be honest, it's not so much about the money; it's the time that they wasted, which is more valuable than anything. I'm super busy with work and home life. Finally, I would advise everyone to just be super careful of this location. I think they are telling people to get these TPMS sensors so they can have more sales at that particular location. I will follow up with corporate regarding this issue.

I purchased 4 tires from Tire Kingdom, Palatka, Florida in 2022 for my Honda CRV. I reviewed the receipt and saw that I had free rotation for the life of the tires. Needing a tire rotation, I called and took my car in to the same location. I noticed the hood of my car was up and questioned the woman working in the office. She said they do an all point inspection and I told her that wasn't necessary as I had an appointment to get the oil changed at Honda (where a thorough inspection happens).

A few minutes later she returns and tells me "THEY CANNOT ROTATE MY TIRES BECAUSE THE SHOCKS ARE BAD AND HAVE CHEWED THE TIRES UP". I said I couldn't afford any repairs, the Honda dealership would check out my car and she still insisted they wouldn't rotate my tires. I mentioned it was in the included in the original tire purchase and she reluctantly said they would rotate them. It took all of 2 minutes. I left there and noticed a message on the dash saying "Low tire pressure". This also happened twice the day I purchased the tires! I don't remember how it was resolved in 2022 (maybe a tire stem).

I called the Palatka store as I was headed to HONDA in St. Augustine, FL. I was referred to their parent store, Mavis. They aired up my tires and tried to blame the message on the cooler weather. Apparently they didn't bother to adjust the tire pressure in Palatka. The message wasn't there before I went into their service center! Honda completed my oil change, completed a very in-depth inspection of my CRV and "there was no problem with my shocks"!!!! The Palatka Tire Kingdom should not be in business and should be shut down for unethical "bait and switch" schemes!

We had a terrible experience at the Tire Kingdom location at 2525 Sample Road, Pompano Beach, Fl 33073. My wife and myself brought her 2016 Ford Edge Titanium in for a tire balance and rotation on Cooper Tires previously purchased there as well as an oil change. The name of the salesperson was "**". Two hours later I get a call from another person who told me that they found a nail in one tire that was not patchable and that I needed a new tire for $263.65 including all installation costs. I asked for him to send me a picture of the tire showing the nail, and he said "no". Well in good faith I said that I need to keep my wife safe and I approved the new tire purchase. About 2 hours later "**" called and said the car was ready for pick up. I told him that I wanted to see the tire with the nail and he said okay.

Upon arrival he brought the tire to the showroom and showed us the nail sticking out of the tire in a spot that they said was not patchable. My wife asked to have the tire and he said we could take it so we did. I paid the bill totaling $345.96 which included the oil change. Well, "We got Scammed." Upon arrival to our home we pulled the tire from the trunk only to find that the tire given to us was not ours. It was a Cooper Tire 185/60R15 and had a huge nail in the side of the tire. Our tire is Cooper 245/55r19 XL. So we jumped into her car at 5pm knowing the store closes at 6pm. I rolled the Bait and Switched tire into the showroom and **'s eyes lit up and he took on a nasty attitude towards us to cover his guilt. I asked to see his manager and the Manager ** came out and I explained the scenario. He was also extremely defensive knowing that they got caught scamming us to buy a new tire.

I went into the work area with the manager and found our tire with a tiny screw in a fixable area of the tread. While examining our tire and sticking my hand inside the tire I found that the screw had never gone through the tread to cause an air leak. I asked to put the tire back on the rim fill it with air and dunk it into the water that they use to see air bubbles for leaks. I asked the manager to remove the screw and guess what? "NO LEAK AT ALL." The screw was as tiny as a pin head and could never cause a leak.

At this point I demanded a full credit on my credit card for this obvious scam. We left without an apology from the manager or ** with his disgusting attitude. I was very disappointed that putting us though all this inconvenience and obvious scam that he wouldn't even offer any compensation for our troubles, let alone a humble apology. I requested a phone call from Mavis Corporate and not from this location. I have always been a loyal customer with this corporation and would like to continue to have a business relationship with Tire Kingdom as long as I can be assured that the staff will not prey on the innocent public.

FIRST, don't believe me, believe the 21 one star reviews here on Yelp! Or go look on ** of which 80% are negative out of 686 reviews. Next read every last one of them. These don't sound like issues with the customers rather with Tire Kingdom management and staff. Promises to honor five year alignment warranty then does not. Will NEVER USE this company again. They are LIARS. This is NOT the first time they have been a disaster. They put my wheels on and over torqued the lug nuts and put the wheel on so bad the wheel was bouncing as we drove the car. Almost like it was on purpose. 10 lug nuts had to be replaced. Took to the dealer and they fixed and Tire Kingdom paid but all my time lost and stress even covering the cost was is good enough.

We did NOT buy our tires here again, I was already over that but we needed an alignment after getting tires at Costco. I doublechecked the technician I knew that we had good luck with for the last 18 years was doing our alignment or I would not have bothered. So we still have an active five-year warranty they said they would honor over the phone which was a lie because they did not honor it. Worse place to get any auto work because not only are the technicians the worst, they also do not honor their agreements. I recommend Costco for tires and your dealer for the alignment, sure it will be more for the alignment but you will know it was done correctly.

I honestly don't understand how have they have such great reviews, other than the staff is kind. My first time at Tire Kingdom on Lee Rd was a year ago in February. I only brought it to them because I had a nail in my tire and needed a close spot. After everything, I ended up leaving with 4 new tires, rotors, and pads. I had to immediately bring it back for multiple issues only a week later. Then brought it back in May, they said give it time to adjust. Now I am back again. Like it has been NONSTOP issues with my tires and brakes since they touched it. My car bounces at 60mph or more, they say they can't feel it so they can't fix it but it should be fine. My brakes grind even when I am not braking, they say it is because of the dust but it still has not gone away and is getting worse. I never had issues with any of it for the past 8 years.

I am back in now, waiting on my vehicle and I have given them WAY too much money for the issues I am having. While I was waiting in their office, another gentlemen came in saying similar things and his brakes were done only a few weeks ago! The office staff is incredibly patient and kind, but I have no idea who runs the service dept. and who is checking their work and holding them accountable, because my van still bounces when I am on the highway and my brakes still grind constantly (even when not braking). It is very inconvenient for me to leave my van as I have 5 kids and a career. I need to drive constantly so I can't bring it back and forth this often! It is very frustrating! All I am hoping is that they finally fix their mistakes (better be free of charge).

I have honestly been putting off this review in hopes that they will finally correct it, but time and time again it is the same thing. I don't like writing negative reviews unless it is earned and I have given multiple attempts to correct, well at this point it is too much. I wish I would have NEVER gone there. Update: this place is terrible. I don’t recommend to anyone on a budget. They will take advantage of you and take no accountability leaving you to spend money elsewhere. New ownership that clearly doesn’t value people. Second update after receiving their response on my Google review: I spoke with the owner John, and he said they are not accountable. So NO, do not go here. I took every step and stayed in communication and still....They want more money from me.

I brought my car in for a repair to a leak in one of my tires. The technician, who moved like a snail, told me he could not find a leak. I told him that there was obviously a leak, but that he should also check the sensor to see if it is broken (it wasn't). He tested the tire for a second time, filled it with air, and returned the keys with the assurance that the problem was fixed. I declined the receipt, and nobody told me that the tire had not been repaired. From my standpoint, he would not have returned the car with all of the tires full of air unless the problem had been fixed. This is what he wanted me to believe, which is why he said nothing to the contrary.

The next day, the tire was almost flat. I had no way to get to work and the early part of my week was completely messed up. I called the service center, who promised to have a manager call me back. Never happened. The next day, I reached the manager, who was incredibly defensive and rude, constantly interrupting me and refusing to fix the car at its current location (or by arranging for a tow). He hung up on me, twice, even though I was appropriate and direct during the conversation (I did tell him that he was not being smart by taking such an unprofessional, combative approach). I invite the company to post any recordings of our discussions.

In my opinion, this was consumer fraud. It appears that the technician could not figure out the problem so he returned the vehicle to me with a tire that appeared to be full of air and ready to go and never once indicated that he failed to do his job. The manager's actions were simply unacceptable, and I will never do business with this company again. You shouldn't either.

The manager didn't say two words to me the whole time I was waiting. He never even checked to see what the hold-up was. I was the scheduled first appointment of the day, a simple 2 tire change, and it took 2 hours. I could have done it myself using only my feet faster than that. Never going back there again.

Online buying and scheduling very good. Pricing very good. When I went for installation I asked if the tires to be installed were made in this year or year before 2023 or 2022 since I put few miles on tires and they age out before used up. After install I checked the tires and they were made in 2021, taking 2 years out of expected 6yr total life. Very disappointed.

This company is truly awful and deceitful in their business practices. I had tune-up work as follows on my car: replace 6 spark plugs and 3 ignition coils. They charged me $972. Ignition coils are $30 a piece in any auto parts store and they charged me $377 for them. They charged $350 for the labor for work that any YouTube video will show you is removing a few nuts and screwing in and inserting the new parts and would take even an amateur non-mechanic about 30 minutes to complete.

Then when I write them a poor Google review they post a response phone number which I call and am told that a "regional manager" will contact me shortly to discuss the situation. No representative has made ANY ATTEMPT to contact me whatsoever. It's obvious that the response on Google is merely a cynical attempt to look good to the public--as if they actually will work with dissatisfied customers to resolve situations--and they have no intention of actually being fair, upfront or decent with any customer. Go to Tire Kingdom if what you're looking for is to be overcharged, mislead and generally taken advantage of because that's the acutal service that you're going to receive.

My initial Report to Mavis ~~~~ I first came in Friday afternoon at 5:30 p.m., because I had a tiny, very slow leak in my driver's side rear tire. I noticed it was a small brads nail in the cleat of the off-road tires on my jeep. Mavis said they couldn't help me because they closed at 6 pm and they could if I came back Saturday, so I came went home and came back.

On Saturday they said they would patch it. When the Jeep was finished they informed me they couldn't patch it it, they had to plug it because the machine would scratch me rim. They assured me the plug would be fine especially because it was a small hole and in the cleat of the tire. I drove straight home and Saturday night I noticed the tire was flat and at 15psi. I looked at the plugged spot and it looked botched, so I took pictures to show you and recorded the tire pressures. Ds front tire was at 50psi, ds rear at 39psi, ps front at 41psi and ps rear 44psi. I tried calling this am to discuss but you weren't open yet and no VM.~~~~

Then, I went in to discuss with the assistant manager and he tried to send me away saying appointments only! Well, long story short, they butchered my $600 tire and didn't know how to fix it, all they could do is put my spare on and not refund my money... This is where TIRE KINGDOM comes into the story. I search Google for another tire repair place and not knowing Mavis recently acquired a local place named Tire Kingdom, I went there and Jay the mechanic was extremely knowledgeable, professional and actually listened to me and easily patched my tire. The assistant manager was very helpful and answered all my questions. I wanted to sue Mavis but they talked me down. Besides, the lawyer would have cost me more, so you just gotta take it in the **!!! 5 STARS CREW AT TIRE KINGDOM.

I took my 2013 Honda Pilot here as recommended by a coworker at Meadowlawn Middle School, which is really close to this shop and convenient for drop off and pick off of vehicle. The average cost for a Rack and Pinion Replacement is between $1,536 and $1,849. Labor costs are estimated $1,190 and $1,413. In total to fix my car it ran me 2500-3000 this was in 2021, Crown Honda was quoting me at 4500, given I am a teacher with two young daughters I went with the most affordable. Great Mistake! Not a year later the car started giving me the same noise and problems. Took it back to Tire Kingdom and they said there wasn't anything wrong with the car as far as they could tell.

Since I am a mom driving a 4-year-old and 9-year-old to school, I need to have a reliable vehicle to drive my children. I then took my car to car to the Honda dealership where they provided me with a multi-point inspection and told me that they could tell I had recently had installed a rack and pinion but it was not installed correctly and had fluid in the left boot. The diagnostic cost me another $200. Took the paperwork from Honda back to Tire Kingdom and they stated that they will order a new rack and pinion and do all the work for free this was in 2022.

Fast forward to 2023 same issue all over again, the rack and pinion was not installed correctly for the 3rd time in a row by Tire Kingdom. But because I had missed to window for the 1 year warranty by a couple of months, they would not replace it again. Now I am looking at spending 4,000 to have the rack and pinion done correctly finally my crown Honda, having already paid 3000 to Tire Kingdom to get it done not once but twice. How is this fair and how can they get away with this??

I stopped using Tire Kingdom (TC) years ago, due to constant issues surrounding their work and appointment management, to where I had to start marking my tire to make sure they actually rotated them, as well as making sure valve stem caps and oil filler cap were replaced. Once they even forgot to replace two lug nuts and then couldn't find them! Fast forward 5+ years and I'm in the market for a new set of Michelins, and it turns out TC has a sale that will theoretically save me $300. That all ended the day of install, when even though I was the first (and only) customer at 8am for tires and an alignment. It took them 2 hours just to finish my tires, and in the meantime decided to use the alignment rack to change the wheels and tires on a truck.

After another hour of sitting around, the truck was still on the alignment rack, because they had the wrong lug nuts. Why not test that before you pull off all the wheels? And why tie up the alignment rack, when you have cars waiting on an alignment? So 3 hours into it, I finally had to ask what was going on, since no one was saying anything. Since they couldn't pull the truck off the rack, and were frantically calling around for lug nuts, I had to leave with only my tires. I was told to return on Monday at 9am for the alignment and was assured the alignment rack would be available. Guess what's on the alignment rack when I got there at 9am? Not an alignment, but rather another truck getting new tires!

The manager told me his tech as "almost done" and I would be next, but after 30 minutes not a single wheel was back on the truck, nor did I even see anyone working on it, so I asked for my key back and left. Another hour wasted on driving and waiting, which made my tire purchase the most expensive option, when I went in thinking I was saving money. Now I'll have to go back to my Honda dealer for an alignment, which they could have done along with the tires, while I was there for an oil change, so add another hour wasted.

Brought it back again they told me it was the rear brakes that were causing the car to shake when pressing the brakes. Wasn't 3 months go by bring it back again this time calling corporate. Was told if the rotors are warped they will replace if under warranty. Just had the inspection done. Now they are telling me the cause is the rotors being warped is from bad calipers. They will warranty the rotors but the calipers will cost 2000.00.

Now if the calipers were bad why would you warranty something your not responsible for? So I take the SUV to Brake Zone where they inspected the brake rotors and calipers. Rotors are warped from not replacing the original brake pads in the first place but the calipers are fine. 600 bucks out the door car and brakes work perfect. Went back to Tire Kingdom again to let them know. Got an attitude from Andy the Manager that first said not my problem didn't do the work and good look getting a refund. One year brought back 4 times and they still can't accept the bad workmanship from their employees. I highly recommend you use someone else. My father purchased tires for me Jan 26 2022 as a Xmas gift. Wish I never accepted it. 2 hrs after tires were installed 1 threw a weight and my truck was shaking. I went back and they re-balanced it. 9 days I'm back because of shaking real bad so they balance them again and send me on my way. Now I start CDL school 1hr 30 min away shaking my fillings out, no joke. So I call and when I'm finished. I come home Apr 8th and take it back for the 3rd time. Now same problem. Re-balance and out the door. I mean they are fast at just balance and send you off. What they lack is the knowledge to try and figure a solution to the problem.

I have my knee replaced May 5th so I didn't drive for about 12 weeks. When I did get back in it I took it to them again 4th time now same problem, shaking like hell. No 1 suggest they might want to send me to Dodge for a Road force balancing because they also lack the proper equipment to check these things out so balance and gone. They should have just sent the tires back and replaced them all and it would have even fixed. Nope balance and out the door. Long story short this has went on for 9 months now and they finally sent me to Parks Dodge for a road force balancing. Well like I said 2 bad tires out of 4. So now they have the problem because of Dodge not Tire Kingdom then they only want to replace 2 after 9 months and 18k miles later on 70k mile tires which are still covered under the New tire limited warranty and have plenty of tread to meet requirements.

They only want to exchange 2 so I finally make the 3rd appt because I'm disabled and can't move around that well. And the other manager John (Mike is the top manager of this goat roping place) and John tells me Mike ordered the wrong tires so now I'm told by John I have to go find a dealer that sells continental and have them get me the tires and they are under warranty. Well they are still covered under the original warranty but they won't honor that because I'm pissed off and gave them a piece of my mind and told the acting manager that lied to me about the warranty and made me look like a fool for sending me out to find someone to get me 2 tires because tire kingdom doesn't deal with continental tires anymore so I did. That's when I found out no warranty papers so I had to purchase 2 new tires from this place because the tires that were bad were on the front and messed up my tire rod from shaking for 9 months as well and wasn't driving another mile on their ** tires.

So I go back and ask the other manager that sold me the tires Mike and asked who's paying me the money I had to spend because you're other manager John told me I couldn't get them from Tire Kingdom period. Another lie. Mike informed me I was ** and getting no refund. Take the tires back and get your money back.

So now I have 2 set of tire on back and 2 on front that are different tires. They need to replace my front tires with the same tire so I have the same amount of tire wear on them and not having to reach 2 18k miles before the other 2. Also need to refund me the money I had to pay for the 2 tires. Their manager told me I had to go find and get someone to install for a warrant I have from purchase but they didn't have anything. It was all a lie. And I'm livid. I have pic of my mileage on my truck and details of the pic with date and time to verify that Mike put the wrong mileage on my paperwork which all this is his fault from the beginning. Makes my tiresome like they have 49k miles on them when my Feb 4th pic I have 98kmiles on it. Impossible for the tires to have over the amount of minimum tread left but drove my truck 28k miles in 4 days. Lol idiots.

Minus 5 stars! Loser behind the counter acted like he did not understand me when I asked him if he could mount two brand new tires on two brand new wheels. These are special wheels and tires for a classic car that Tire Kingdom does not sell but I have literally been a Tire Kingdom customer for over 20 years and have brought in multiple wheel tire combinations and have always been taken care of. Now mind you, there was not but one person in the waiting area and there was not one car in the parking lot or in the shop. The kid looked at me and said they have never done that (mount tires on wheels ha!) and when I explained to him that I have never been turned down (for this service) at this store before - I've probably had 20 tires mounted on wheels at this store (close to me house) and I've probably bought $5000 worth of tires/services from this store over the years.

There was a particular salesman that I have always dealt with and when I asked for him, the kid said he has been gone for over six months and that he didn't care what anyone "used" to do. I asked for a manager and was told that they did not have one. I walked out the door and towards the garage to see if the guy I usually worked with was around and there was one worker. I simply asked the worker if he had seen the guy that used to work there. The guy behind the counter ran out the front door after me and told me to leave immediately or he would call the cops. I called him an ** and he then told me to get in my pretty little F-150 and get off the property. This has bothered me enough that I feel compelled to sit here and complain.

I am 55 years old and have run my own business since I was 25. Never once have I EVER turned down business and never once have I been treated with such disdain by an employee of a company that I have faithfully used for all my tire needs for a very long time. I literally drove one block to an adjacent tire store and asked the salesman if he could mount the tires on the wheels and he wrote me up right then and there - even helped me get the wheels and tires out of the truck! I will never use Tire Kingdom again I promise you that!

If they gave me the option to put negative stars, I would put some. A company that has very little professionalism in its workers. You go for a problem and they lie to you telling you that the problem is solved by replacing old parts (in good condition) with new parts, being a lie. I went for a problem with the ABS that when I brake at low speed it activates and produces a sound in the front wheels. They tell me that I have to change the brake system, that that was what was giving me the problem, when it wasn't. If they charged $1228.50 but didn't fix anything, my ABS problem is still there.

When I go to claim again they tell me that they are going to change all the ABS sensors and that if that is not the problem they could not do anything else. When I go they tell me that the 4 sensors had been changed, that the car still had the same problem and that they put the old ones back on. Everything was a lie, the next day I checked to see and they did not touch any sensor. There were no traces of having removed and put new sensors, I have the photos that I took where you can see that nothing has ever been manipulated in that area. So I start complaining to customer service, I've had 4 or 5 calls with them and they always apologize for the bad job and that the regional manager is going to contact me. According to them it was in 48 hours, and already 19 days ago. Reviewed Feb. 22, 2022

This has been my personal experience with the Tire Kingdom in Saint Cloud, FL. Since my complaint appears to be due to a company-wide policy, this might be true for all locations. When we had Tire Kingdom put new tires on my Mustang, we paid upfront for twice yearly tire rotation and balance for the lifetime of the tires. We also paid for a three year alignment program. Every time I made an appointment for the prepaid services, I had to sit and wait between 1.5 - 2.5 hours every single time for my car to be done. During those extended wait times, it became more and more evident that the problem was the upselling happening with customers ahead of me.

When your vehicle is taken to the garage, they check under the hood and look at all sorts of things that might allow them to upsell services or parts. I would watch the desk guys come to the waiting room and tell people, usually women, that they needed filters, or other parts and services they did not have scheduled at that time. Sometimes it was $1,000 or more in upselling. Most of the time, the women would agree so the upselling services were added to whatever they had come in to have done. This pushes all other appointment times further back and screws up everyone else’s schedule and they don’t care if you sit there for hours.

The last time I was there was January 2022. I watched this happen again. I had been sitting 1 hour and 20 minutes when a woman came in and asked if her car was done. They told her they hadn’t started it. She had dropped it off and she and her husband and grandchild had been walking around the shopping center for two hours waiting for the tires to be rotated and balanced. She got upset and told them to give her keys back so she could leave. She went outside and then her husband came in.

He lit into the manager whose only excuse was that they were a drop-off, which I took to mean they’ll get to it after people who are waiting get their service done, even though this makes no sense. Like the husband said, we make appointments for a reason…our scheduled time for our service. I became upset to hear theirs was taking so long because they were a “drop-off” and there I’d been sitting for 1 hour 20 minutes, not a drop off. It suddenly got worse when I saw my Mustang roll past the door to the garage. They were just taking it back to the garage.

So I followed my car to the garage stall and the manager was there. I called him out and asked why mine was taking so long when I wasn’t a drop-off. I asked why I had to sit 1.5 - 2.5 hours every single time I brought the car in. I yelled to the tech to do nothing except tire rotation and balance and to not touch the hood. The manager pointed to an SUV up on a lift and used the excuse that they had come in for two tires but had added two more tires and other services to their appointment time. I told him it was rude to add the services and ** up everyone else’s appointment times and he should schedule additional services as a new appointment at another time. He put two techs on my Stang to apologize for my inconvenience. It took them 20 minutes to complete the tire rotation and balance. That means my appointment time should usually only be around 30 minutes.

The manager came in to sign me out and I called him out on the upselling being the problem with appointments. I suggested he make upsales new separate appointments so he doesn’t screw-up everyone else’s schedules. He said “corporate wouldn’t like that very much”. I replied that corporate needs to respect their customers’ time.

The second time I took my Stang for rotation and balance, as I was leaving, a guy stopped me to warn me about the upselling. He said they had just ripped-off his mother in law for over $2,000 of things she didn’t need but they had convinced her she needed. The only reason I continue to take my Stang to Tire Kingdom is because we paid for the program upfront. Next new tires will be installed elsewhere.

Later that day they called and told me maybe Wednesday morning. I asked for a price and was told my share under warranty would be almost 700.00. I’m supposed to pay 33% of the cost for replacement. He told me the tires were more than 500.00 a piece plus balancing and disposal. Not today my friend. Went to a local non chain tire installer. Same tire was 204.00 per tire. Buyer Beware!

I’ve sent many friends and clients there recently, and I always hear negative back, not about the manager, but about the other employees that seem to need to prove something instead of do their job. Listen to the manager and make your client happy. Never the same worker there, which is never a good sign, and I just went for a tire and the great manager who made that store amazing, Jesse is gone!!! There are too many new tire places in town now for me to even mess with the arrogant employees there. Seems like the higher up management is rewarding the proper people and it’s a shame. He immediately kicked me out of the store and continued to follow me yelling at me and that there was something wrong with me and that I was a terrible person. I had only had the battery for a year so found a Nissan Dealership in Pembroke, they were great BTW. I did not feel comfortable with Tire Kingdom so had them check out my car. I got a new battery. No charge. Still under warranty, they checked I had NO oil in my car. When I got to the dealership my car was revving up so bad I thought my car was going to blow up. I asked them if they could put a little oil in there, drove my car back to Tire Kingdom, the guy came out and checked in. Said, "OH you must have an oil leak." Mind you I've had this car since it was new and can tell you everything about it, I have never had an oil leak, PLEASE do not go here for servicing for your car!!!!

On Friday June 25th my 19-year-old daughter brought her car in to Tire Kingdom in Auburndale, FL with a handwritten note from myself detailing all the items that needed addressed on the car. Each of these 3 items dealt with either tire rotation and balancing and potential issues in the front end from mystery noises. About an hour later I received a phone call explaining that they could not find any noises in the front end, but the car did need a front end alignment as well as 2500.00 worth of items in the engine such as spark plugs, leaky valve cover gaskets, fuel injector issues, etc. I explained the car ran fine. I just wanted fixed what I brought it in there for which was just do the alignment.

Two hours later my daughter went to go pick up the car and the car barely ran. It sounded like it was missing on one of the cylinders. She sat outside with the hood up for 30 min with mechanics looking at her, but no one offered to help. She called me so I called the store and explained the situation. After 20 min of being on hold they went out there to assist. She said the mechanic that came out was rude and didn’t believe her car was running bad and was at a point where he was going to tell her there was nothing they could do when she mentioned the check engine light was on and this was new. They agreed to pull it back and inspect. After 15 min they came out and handed her the keys to the car saying nothing about what they found. The car still ran the same, but the check engine light was now off.

Frustrated she called me again so I headed in to the store. Upon arrival I could tell the car barely ran and would probably not make it home. I went inside and explained to the clerk that the car ran perfect when it was brought in and he said NO the mechanic said it ran this way when the car arrived. I continually assured him that this was not the case. I asked why they dug into my engine pulling spark plugs and checking fuel injectors when nothing in my description had nothing to do with engine work. I had suspected they had a loose engine coil or vacuum hose. I could tell all they did was delete the code from computer. He told me the mechanics never touched the engine so I reverted, "How did you quote me spark plugs unless you inspected on which requires you pulling off the manifold and ignition coil to get to them and how did you see fuel system was gummed up?"

After going round and round with them they basically told me there was nothing more they could do for me. I was very upset and they said there was no manager I could speak with. I am no mechanic by any means, but I do typically work on my own vehicles. I went outside, raised the hood and pulled off the air manifold housing to inspect the engine coils and immediately saw 3 vacuum/exhaust hoses that were disconnected. I connected those, put the manifold back on and the car ran perfect. I went inside with greasy hands and a cut finger and explained what I found to the clerk and he only said he was glad I fixed it. No apologies for the miss. It is very obvious that had they really looked when it was brought back inside they would have easily found their mistake, but all they did is clear the code and send it back out.

I do understand that mistakes can be made but there must be some kind of effort to fix it. I also understand the “upsell” of items when you bring a car in for repairs, but pull parts off an engine when at no point did I ask for any engine work is not acceptable. I would expect when changing a tire, they see worn brake pads, they would quote, but not 2500.00 worth of misc items that did not need repair. I sincerely hope that you address this issue as it's not the first time I have had less than stellar work done at this store. I would also appreciate a call or email reply letting me know my efforts writing this are not in vain. Thank you very much for your time. Greg **.

I told them this air compressor was news done by the dealer, they insist needed to be change, because of their great concern so I agreed.

The total cost for everything, they told me I needed was $2,800 including new shocks for the rear. New shocks broken cover same as it was. My biggest concern is the up-selling style this people have. They are concern for a AC compressor $800.00 dollar job but not for the broken shocks cover. This is visual and they fail to replace the shock with a better quality and a new cover. My suggestion people, find ways to check what any mechanic does to your car. I will be paying someone else to replace this shock again. I lost $344.00 plus I regret paying for a refurbished AC compressor I just don't think was a big deal. Seems to be part of the up-selling strategy. Also communication to sale is excellent once you paid communication is minimum.

Took it in for oil change, they say I need a battery, bad oil leak from valve cover, well I just put a new battery in from AutoZone and the car was not losing oil, had autozone test and it was fine. Take it in again for oil change, now power steering is no good, needs tie rods, brakes, ALL OVERPRICED, so I again decline and take it to my mechanic, everything's fine. So my advice is if they tell you something's wrong get a second opinion before having it fixed and then use a mechanic that is reasonable. Tire Kingdom is scamming a lot of people who don't know about cars.

I looked up on the internet solutions to stripped threads on an oil pan without the high cost of replacing it. I showed the article to Robert H, he said he knew that and even suggested Re-threading but added that they only would replace the entire pan. Unethical not to suggest less expensive solutions even if they don't perform them. Went to a mechanic today who drained the oil, place the drain plug with a longer one, even reused the oil and charged me only $25.

It wasn't until 11:30am that they took the car back. They check and say that the brakes are totally shot on that wheel and that it would need replacing. How in the heck can brakes go bad in one year? And only on one wheel? The rest were perfect. That tells me the job wasn't done right the first time. So, what do they do? They only charge for labor. $150 in labor charges. My issue, why charge my wife anything due to the job not being done correctly in the first place?

I ended up calling the 800 customer service number and spoke with Lillia at ext **. Very sympathetic. After telling my story, she says she will research and get back to me. The next day, I call to inquire as to what the status is. I was told by another customer service rep that she is working on my case and would call me back in 5 minutes. 2 hours later, still no call. I call back, told again she is on the other line and would get back to me. About 5 minutes later, she calls me back. She spoke with someone at the store and she proceeds to tells me that they, meaning the local store, wants to fix my issue. The issue was resolved when they changed the brakes properly this time. My problem is having to pay for the same job a year later (labor charge). Lillia proceeds to tell me, after I asked if there would be a full or even a partial refund, that no refund would be given.

This set me off. I had some not so nice things to say and promptly ended the call. They wasted my time. I've had great experiences previously with Tire Kingdom. However, after this, they won't be getting my business. I will proudly tell anyone that will listen to not go here. I feel ripped off. We own a 2017 Chevy Cruze with 55,000 miles on it. It was time for new tires so we shopped around and found that Tire Kingdom had some of the better prices and there was one conveniently close by where we live (my wife really dreaded going to Tire Kingdom because of past experiences over a period of 15 years), but we decided to get one tire now, then the other 3 in a couple of weeks due to our funds. Tire Kingdom agreed and we booked an appointment for the one tire and booked an appointment for three weeks out for the other 3. The tire was mounted and we had no problems for a week. Then the car started shaking (mildly at first) then became violent shaking. We were thinking it was one of the older tires since the manager at this Tire Kingdom said that all the old tires were not looking good at all.

The day before our appointment to get the other 3 tires replaced I was on my way to work and that's when the car started shaking violently. So on my way home from work at 12:30am I was going about 40mph on I-4 highway in Florida just to get home when I heard a boom and almost lost control of the car. I pulled to the side of the road and looked at the gauges that show tire pressure and all 4 tires looked fine registering at around 34psi. Luckily a State Farm Road Ranger vehicle was right behind me. He inspected the car and found that the brand new tire had blown out from the treads and after further inspection, that tire that was sold to us was manufactured in 2012.

So in essence the road ranger mechanic told me that they sold us an 8 year old tire as a brand new tire. He showed me where you get that information off the tire and that we should never accept a tire from a retailer that is more than 3 years old because the rubber becomes vulnerable. He helped me put on the doughnut tire and I got home. The next morning (the day of the appointment) I called Tire Kingdom to let them know that the 3- is now 4 tires and told them what had happened and what they were going to do about it. The manager said "nothing" that they didn't know I might have run over a nail or something. I asked him about the date of the tire and why he would sell me a tire that old (double the age of my car)- He would not answer my question but did say he would give me a "deal" on 4 tires (that was a more expensive quote than three weeks prior). I said "NO THANKS." And took my $700 business elsewhere.

Also, either of the two stores stripped the vehicle's wheel studs and new mag bolts. On March 2nd went to store# 79 to have 4 tires removed from truck's original rims and put on brand new rims. Then all four wheels were to be balanced and mounted on truck. The Manager, Francois, stated approximate time for completion was 1.5 hours. 1) Destroy the truck's wheel studs and new mag bolts by cross-threading them on with air impact gun. Now they need replacing with new.
    2) Scratch the rims' outer side paint off, and is visible.

    3) Scratched the fresh new paint of the truck's front driver's side, looked like from an air hose pulled across it.

Have been taking 3 cars here for 5 years. I feel like a good customer. 3 pairs of tires in 12 months and oil changes every couple months. I felt very comfortable going here until last weekend. I brought my 2015 SUV in because lights had come on in the dash. The guy who was behind the counter gave me a bad vibe while I was dropping the car off. So much so that I texted my husband to come in. I felt like I was getting ripped off from the get go. They have worked on and fixed all kinds of things on our cars so I tried to shake the feeling. An hour or two later he called to tell me what was wrong and that the bill would be $680.00. I was very shocked.

Just out of curiosity I called the dealer and asked what they would charge. They said $00. That part had been recalled. I went to pick up my car and told them what the dealer said and they told me I had to pay them $130.00 diagnostic. He said they shouldn't have to keep up with recalls. I say, if it is tire/wheel related you damn better well be up with recalls. I don't know if their sales team has stretched them so far that now they have rip people off. Now they are the same as all the other little car places out there. Sorry to see you go, guys and girl.

Second attempt to resolve: Again after several attempts to have some resolve in this matter. Tire Kingdom did reply to me after supplying them with all the documentation they requested and they stooped to requesting me to have someone lie by making a statement which they were not witnesses to nor familiar with this issue. As much as I would like to have my Mercedes Benz GL450 problem corrected, I refuse to provide false statements.

The statement below was provided by the mechanic who worked on the car after 5 of Tire Kingdom's legged "Certified Technicians" at 2 locations (Gibsonton, FL and University Fowler Tampa, FL locations). Did not properly inspect the front end prior to performing a wheel alignment to discover that my rack and pinon bushing were worn. They instead tried to align it 4 times with no success. Denied the report provided by the technician who replace the rack bushings, and is also familiar with the vehicle's history, requested that I get another report from someone who was not familiar with this issue and unfamiliar with the repair. I again refuse to lose my integrity and perjure myself or have anyone else provide a false statement.

Mechanic's statement below who did the repair that Tire Kingdom never discovered. And a clear statement that once the bushings were installed there was no noise of any kind coming from the vehicle whatsoever. Until Tire Kingdom made another attempt to perform a wheel alignment, which at this time caused damage. If this is not resolved immediately at this level, then a Civil Suit is to follow.

    Vehicle: 2007 Mercedes Benz Truck GL 450 (164.871) V8-4.6L (273.923)

Labor: Removed and replaced left and right side rack @ pinion bushings. 0.0 $60.00 $0.00

Labor: Test drove with customer. No noise heard. Vehicle operating as designed. Current squeaking noise is due to Tire Kingdom’s improper lifting of the vehicle, not using proper lift points, but lifting at the control arm causing stress the strut resulting in the noise currently displayed on vehicle. 0.0 $60.00 $0.00

Highly disappointed and frustrated with the service and customer service of this location (Gibsonton) and the Tampa Fowler location. I have used Tire Kingdom for many years have set them up to service our corporate account. The best place to start is with my disappointment in the knowledge and service of the 2 locations. I took my vehicle in for a wheel aliment and once completed and paid, first thing I noticed that my light tan interior of my GL450 had grease all over the door handle and the A pillar. Mechanic attempted to clean it with a greasy red cloth. I immediately stopped him before he got to the tan colored fabric portion. The manager did assist by sending me across the street to USF car wash on Fowler, they did a great job, (Great place, I used them many times)

My problem was not yet resolved as my vehicle still has the same issue (vibration and a pull). On June 17 2019, I had gone to a Tire Kingdom near me (Gibsonton Dr.) to correct the issue the alignment and re-balanced my tires, twice (Now a total of 3 times) and still having the same problem. Only to find out that the mechanics did not do the proper pre-check. A shake down of the front end is always performed to determine that all suspension components are in good condition before performing a wheel alignment. After 3 wheel alignments they then discovered my rack n pinion mount bushings were bad. On Jun 20 2019, I went to Mercedes Benz of Tampa and purchased the parts, and had been installed by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle. I was a tremendous improvement.

This is where it gets worse. I took it back to Tire Kingdom (big mistake on my part to trust their ability after not doing a proper shake down of the front end). I requested they do a proper alignment that I had paid for them to do. Gave them the key as I waited in the customer lounge area. On their alleged completion, and giving me the key to my vehicle, were I immediately notice a creaking sound coming from my right strut. I drove the car up the road and back thinking it will settle in. But it DID NOT! Went back to explain to them that since I owned this vehicle that I purchased at the end of this May 2019, I had no creaking or squeaking of my suspension.

In addition, the mechanic that installed my rack mount bushings where I purchased my car test drove the car and no noise. I dove my car from the day I purchased it up until the moment I handed the key over to Tire Kingdom I had no creaking or squeaking. The moment I got into the car and drove 3 ft I notice a problem that was not there when I gave them my key. I came back the following day to address the issue. Matt one of the techs there along with another tech called me in to observe the investigation into my complaint. Immediately I notice the tech who lifted the weight off the front wheels was displeased with his placement of the jack and lowered it and repositioned the jack. This is what I am to believed happened initially, that I now have a horrible squeaking every time I use my breaks of drive.

I spoke to the manager on duty who I believe need more training in having to deal with these types of issues. He basically called me a liar, that I did not see the tech reposition the jack to lift the car. That was it. I felt humiliated that he would even come at me with such a remark with all the incompetence I had experienced with both TK locations.

I had hoped for some resolve through management or the owners to this matter but, now without anyone from corporate reaching out to find resolve leaves me no other choice but to seek further action. After over 5 yrs. of business relationship with TK it unfortunate that I have to go this route. In all my history I have never wrote a negative review until now. All I am requesting is that they correct the damages the caused nothing more nothing less. Signed A disappointed 5 yr customer.

I drove there and they took my vehicle in their shop to remove the wheel locks. After an hour and a half, Nate comes back and tells me they can't remove them and I'd have to come back tomorrow so their master tech can try. I walked out to my vehicle and quickly noticed a complete hack job done on my left front wheel. They tried to remove the lock with an impact chisel and in the process, put some nice big dents and scuffs on the wheel itself. Nate noticed that I noticed and quickly came up to me to let me know they damaged my wheel and they have a guy that can touch it up. Mind you, this is a brand new $55k 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk!

I left and on my way home noticed a Firestone open. I pulled in and they removed all four wheel locks within 5 minutes with ZERO damage! I called the next day and talked to Randy to see how they were willing to replace my damaged wheel. He said he'd pass the info to Nate and Alex, the store manager. I have yet to receive a call back from anyone there! Filing complaint with corporate office. The service here is flat out horrendous!!!

Tires were not balanced correctly, took it to another TK, they explained each tire had approximately 6 ounces of weight, The weights should be at most 3 ounces per tire. The tech at the Yulee location said the weight was just added to each tire, instead of properly correcting the weight. I took it back to the original location three times to get it corrected, never corrected.. My time, like most folks is precious. I spent $865.20 on tires. I had an appointment at 2:00 and my vehicle was not serviced to 4:00.

Secondly, I took my wife's 2007 Jeep to get serviced, I explained I thought it needed brakes, the manager told me the brakes were fine, I knew they were not. Within three weeks and less than 200 miles driven I took it the Yulee TK, the brakes showed hot spots on them and needed replaced asap. This could have cost me a lot more, if I didn't obtain a second option. The Yulee TK was sure a different experience. Not to mention it was not safe. I am not looking for any future discounts, but action be taken with employees. The Fernandina location should be investigated. I ask corporate contact me to discuss, I plan to fill a BBB complaint.

Boy what a difference a change in management makes. I've been a Big O and Tire Kingdom customer for well over 30 years and I frequent the Tire Kingdom Oviedo, Florida location regularly for the servicing of my five vehicles. The management at the Oviedo Tire Kingdom location changed a couple of years ago and I've noticed that the prices for tires and other routine maintenance items has steadily increased to the point that Tire Kingdom is on the high end of the cost spectrum.

Now, the service and waiting times have become horrible. I went to the Oviedo Tire Kingdom location of Saturday without an appointment because I had a nail in the middle of one of my tires. The shop was extremely busy, so I made an appointment for noon the following day. On the day of my appointment, my tire was completely flat, so I borrowed an air compressor from my neighbor and urgently made my way to Tire Kingdom. I was the first customer of the day and I was told that my tire couldn't be repaired until my scheduled noon appointment time. #smh

I asked the manager if this was correct and he stated that he still had cars from the previous day and I had to drop my car off and he would get to when he could. #smh Needless to say, I've spent a pretty penny at this location over the years, in fact I just dropped $3,500 at this location a couple of months ago to fix my son's Mustang. I left Tire Kingdom in my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and went to Pep Boys. Tire fixed in less than 30 minutes. Needless to say, I'm done with Tire Kingdom!

I was driving to work and was beginning to stress out.

I was instantly greeted by two concerned employees who approached me as I popped the hood. After the engine cooled enough, they were able to see exactly what the problem was. And fix it. The manager Jason ** took time to take photos of my unrecognizable plastic broken part to send to Napa to replace it. The other gentleman put the new part on, then he rinsed my engine off from anti-freeze. Then he added coolant to my radiator, and fixed my problem. Then they noticed my tires were all very low which they brought up to proper levels. When I tried to square up, the manager said, "This one is on me. When you need new tires come back and see us." Believe me I will. I really appreciate those guys at store #143. Jason and his staff. I thank God for people like that. Bill

Alignment was not done properly and the store manager said that we are wrong and that it was done properly. Bumper was damaged and of course it was all already there and documented, it was the exhaust that damaged it. No one will give you the documentation and you will get nowhere with the corporate office. Bottom line- they care less about the damages to your vehicle. At first they offered to open an insurance claim and now since everything is documented all sudden they refuse. You can not reach regional manager and when they do call you, you as the customer are wrong and they are right. You can not get anywhere and prove nothing.

Our granddaughter went back to them after having tires installed (a month ago) regarding a leak. The sales manager told her that it was just normal leakage, first lie. I went back with her yesterday and told the manager (Russ **) what his sales manager had told my granddaughter. What he said, he said, "I can't believe he said that.", so you say that my granddaughter is lying, he said, "I did not say that." I spoke to the sales and he denied it. At this point I called him a liar and I told him that I didn't know what they were trying to pull. He claimed that I came with my granddaughter the first time and complained and she told him no it was her dad and he said no it was me. That was the second lie. The manager left instead of being man enough to be part of the conversation. I told ** (manager) I monitored the tire leakage for 4 days and the front tires lost 2 1/2 LBS.

He then said that he would remove them from the rims and replace the tires. While I was talking to my so the sales manager told the manager that I called Headquarters and was filing a complaint. I told the sales manager that, "You are ** liar." Another lie. I was talking to my son and he called me a liar and I suggested to him and the manager that they look at telephone number I called. After they removed the wheels he showed us the tires and there was some wear on the outer tread, yes the car need an alignment. He then said, "I cannot fix the leak(s), because of the ware it would be a waste of time." I said that is not right. He told them to put the the wheels back on the car and walked away. I was really upset. I told the manager that he and his sales manager that they took advantage of a 20 year old lady.

He literally told me that I came in there making demands and being pushy. What do yo expect when you give us the run around. He told me to leave, that I am not the customer. I asked him and the sales manager what kind of business that they are running. The sales manager literally told me that I am not the customer and to leave the building now. What is really interesting is that he (sales manager) apologize to my granddaughter Carter after I left and said, "I am sorry. I did not explain it correctly when you came in the first time." They will probably deny all. There were 4 other customers in the store.

I have a 2014 Suburban and needed a oil change and spark plugs. I explained to the service manager that I've been to 3 shops that have given me the runaround and would appreciate if we could discuss my front end issues without all the crap and upsell. I narrowed it down to the bushings, ball joint, tire rod, bearings or alignment. I requested that they do their free alignment check and call me to discuss what they find so I know how to move forward. At first I agreed to a fluid flush and a radiator and tranny drain and fill. They said they would do an oil change for free since I was doing the other stuff. I left my vehicle there and went to work. I called back and advised I changed my mind on the fluids because I didn't know what was going on with the front end, the sales guy rudely told me he would try to catch them before they started and take it off and I was not getting a free oil change.

I called a few hours later to check if they found anything on the alignment check and was advised they were getting ready to start the alignment and I asked why it was supposed to be a check. So after being given a runaround they fixed it in the computer and gave me a quote of 300 for a bearing and I told them that's crazy because I can buy it for $86 at advance auto down the road and bring it to them. They advised they would do the check and get back to me. The next call was to advise I need brake pads and they supposedly can't do the check until that's done.

So I authorize that and 3 hours later call for another update just to be told that they still have not done the check. I receive a call 30 minutes later to advise my alignment is great and they supposedly can't get the vehicle to make the loud roaring noise now that they rotated the tires, which is crap because the moment I left my vehicle was doing exactly what it was doing before I brought it in. The only reason they didn't confirm if my bearing was messed up was because they weren't going to make a commission off of it. I was treated rudely and disrespected. Worst place I've ever been to.

June 21, 2019. Needed oil change and tires rotated and balanced on my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. Made an appointment at the above store. Got there on time. (Just noticed on their invoice, they are still on Eastern Standard Time!) Guy behind counter examined tires and told me they could not rotate my Michelin tires because the tread was worn below the legal depth for them to do so. First time I ever heard that one. But, that day was the day their BOGO tire sale started. Lucky me! Old tires have been on van since 2015, so I agreed to get a new set. That was all that was said about the tires. Came back to me a while later and said that inner tie rod on driver's side needed to be replaced and they could not do the alignment until it was replaced. Went home and had my mechanic look at tie rods. Nothing wrong with either one. Starting looking at invoice and saw where I was charged $169.99 for a 3 Year Wheel Alignment Program.

Called the store and explained situation to Service Manager. He had to check with Service Tech and call me back. When he called, he said that the guy behind the counter basically didn't know what he was talking about and they had only advised that tie rod would need to be replaced "down the road". Also, he said they did do an alignment even though I was told they couldn't. Now for the fun part. They cannot refund the charge for the Alignment Program because it is tied into the BOGO offer for the tires. Basically, he told me that charge helped to offset the fact that they "gave" me two tires for free. NOBODY ever said anything to me about a "Value Installation Package". They did replace the two air filters because it was time. But, I said no to the "need" for new windshield wipers and the tie rod repair. Stay very far away from these guys.

I question the bill and he says "Our standard for oil is 5qts, Anything more than that is $11.00 a qt." Nobody ever said anything about a standard or 5 qts. What kind of vehicle do you have was the only question. I paid it and left. Stewing on this the whole way home I did something I never do. I called customer service. They were very nice and listened to my entire story. Even asked me what I thought a good resolve would be. I said, "I didn't want anything for free. Just honor the $60 and I'm good." Then she shows her corporate colors. "SIR, they did tell you it might be more." We went around for a few minutes and she wouldn't admit that their marketing was a big lie. I said, "Have a nice day," and hung up. PLEASE stay clear of these thieves.

Upon picking it up the next day, My dashboard LIT UP and they told me I had engine/piston issues, My car was just serviced 3 months prior. I called my mechanic, had him speaker phone with the manager and he denied anyone touching my car. I had to have the car towed as it was undriveable and now I have a massive $$ repair. I told them no to the coolant drain and refill. 14 days later my car was leaking green coolant. GM cars are only to have Dexcool coolant in them which is orange. I took it to another Tire Kingdom and they stated it was the water pump and on the receipt they charged me for a New HVAC heater valve they bought from Napa part number 660-1294 which is not for my GTO. It's a Ford heater valve. You can not even get this part from any auto store. Has to be purchased online since my car parts are obsolete. I called the corporate office and told them that this is fraud and on my receipt it also states car was leaking water and they charged me for a part that does not go to my car.

Took it to my mechanic Brothers Auto in Tampa FL and it was a seized water pump and huge crack in my radiator. I only put 42 miles on my vehicle from picking it up on 10/26/18. I called and spoke to Renee in corporate. They said they will refund my amount of $346.46 since they almost total my vehicle by adding the wrong coolant. The coolant does not mix with Dexcool. It turns into a gel and can blow all your coolant system and potentially your engine. Now the bill is $572.00 and they refuse to pay. The Tire Kingdom I went to was in Seffner Fl #164 and people there were calling me and denied they ever touched my coolant. I have the receipt and they took that charge off when I picked up the car. Still have receipt to prove and I will be contacting an attorney over this. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR To TIRE KINGDOM!!!

I went to Tire Kingdom in Orlando last Monday with a tire leak. I sat there 2 hours and was told they couldn't find anything wrong. My tire was low again in a couple of days and I made an appointment to drop my car to look at the tire again. When Steven called me from the store he told me there was a hole in the side wall. I thought that was strange since I was just there on Monday and nothing was there. I also thought it was a tire I just bought there less than a year ago. When I tried to talk to him about it he got angry and started yelling at me that he already explained it to me and if I wanted to talk to him about it I would have to come in. I asked to talk to the manager as I didn't like how he was talking to me. He said the manager was busy so I would just have to come in if I wanted to talk to him.

I told him I wanted to wait to speak to him and he hung up on me. I called back twice and he continued to hang up on me. The third time the person who said he was the manager (not sure if that is true) got on the phone. When I tried to talk to him about how I was treated he said he knows Stephen wouldn't do that and I could either talk rationally or he was hanging up too. He said that to me twice. For him to threaten that he was hanging up and condoned what his employee did is unacceptable management behavior. At the end he told me he was putting my tire back and I can just come and pick up the car. I told him to put the new tire on and he refused. His behavior caused a loss of a sale and any business that I or my family may have in the future.

I got my oil changed at Tire Kingdom of St. Augustine on July 14, 2018. I was upsold for the $5,000 mile oil change, which I agreed since I drive 3-5 days out of the week from St. Augustine to Jacksonville for work. On August 14, 2018, as I’m driving to work, I notice what appears to be smoke in my rear windshield as I’m driving on the highway. I chalked it up to my window being dirty and continued to drive; a couple miles later, I hear a pop and my red oil light comes on, my engine is now smoking. As soon as I pull off to the side of the highway, oil spills everywhere on the side of the road. I have my boyfriend meet me while I’m waiting on my tow and there is no oil left in the car.

I have my car towed to the dealership where I had purchased the vehicle from in late 2016. The dealership calls me the next day and reports to me that my engine is blown, due to oil starvation. They ask where I had last gotten my oil changed, which is posted in my windshield as being Tire Kingdom; I call the St. Augustine TK and speak with the manager Hal, letting him know what happened. He calls their insurance company and said that they’ll be in contact. After about a week of waiting, they finally send their inspector to go and look at my vehicle at the dealership. I keep calling the dealership for updates and after the inspector came out, I was told that they have accepted fault and I’m sending all of your extended warranty information over to them.

That’s right, I have an extended warranty on my engine so they can’t put any cheap engine they want in my car. I felt so relieved. After that conversation, their insurance company's adjuster, Jeff **, calls me and asks if I’ve recently taken any long trips with my vehicle. I explain to him that no, I haven’t, I drive a lot to and from work. He also asks if anyone else has serviced my vehicle after my oil change-which I reply no; why would I get another oil change 1,900 miles after? I’m waiting and waiting all week for some solid answers as to what’s going on with my car because I drive so much for work and would like a rental while I’m waiting. Jeff’s response to that is that I can pay for that out of pocket and once my claim is approved, they’ll reimburse me.

I’m sorry, but who can afford to pay a rental until who knows when on top of missing work that night, all while continuing to pay my insurance and monthly payment on my car? A few days later, he calls me again and asks me the same question- "Has anyone else serviced your vehicle since your oil change?" I reply no, once again and he starts explaining that the insurance inspector found both blue and yellow glue on my car. I’m confused when he’s explaining this because all I want is my car to be repaired from their negligent work-he goes on to say that because there’s two different color glues on my car, TK only uses blue that they obviously don’t believe me. He then proceeds to tell me that my claim has been denied.

Fast forward to today, October 22, 2018, and I’m still paying on my car that I have not used since August. Now the dealership is charging $35 a day for it being there-I have a lawyer and plan on going to court but this whole situation has left me feeling heartbroken. I can’t believe that companies can take advantage of people like this. Please do not ever get your oil changed from TK. Whatever problem they leave you with, it’ll end up costing you more than you can imagine.

I have an older car that I want to try and keep going. On Oct 2nd the air conditioning stopped and smoke/steam started coming out from under the hood. I dropped the car off. When they finally got back to me they presented a list of items that needed to be fixed. Basically they said it was leaking oil from many seals and gaskets, which is why it was smoking, and it would cost 2400 to fix.

I figured that at this point I was not going to invest any more money (especially 2400). I took it home figuring I would call a group for donating it. I started it up and watched the engine. Now I know very little about cars, but I saw right away that it was not smoke, but steam. There was a hole in pipe leading from the radiator to the motor. I fixed it myself, filled the radiator, and turn it on. No steam, no smoke, just a well running engine. How do you miss a radiator hose leaking and blame it on oil? My cars will not be coming back EVER.

Mgr told me the cost for a complete brake job was $169.95 per axle - PERIOD. I scheduled a 9 AM appointment for the next day. Arrived at 8:40 AM. Vehicle was road tested and I was presented with an estimate of $1,452.00 to do the $339.90 job. That was to include $108.00 worth of front wheel bearings ("it's only another $100.00", I was told). I declined to have them install 4 new shocks for "only another" $300.00. Eight hours and 50 minutes later, I left the facility with my $1452.65 faulty brake job. I nearly smashed into the building as I attempted to turn around to go in the opposite direction.

At the intersection where I needed to pull to a complete stop, I nearly rear-ended a car stopped at the stop sign. The brakes were NO better after 8:50 hours and $1,452.65 than they were that morning. The vehicle is UNSAFE to be driven; but is my only mode of transportation. I am of the opinion TBC's Tire Kingdom should refund at least $500.00 of the $587.59 labor charge so that I can have the vehicle taken to a real mechanic for a proper/complete repair. I have PROMISED to NEVER darken their doorway again and am awaiting their decision. I had been warned to avoid Tire Kingdom; but learned my lesson the hard and expensive way. BUYER: BEWARE!

My 17 year old son took his 2011 Honda Civic to Tire Kingdom in Seffner, FL on 7/9 because his brakes were grinding. They diagnosed the problem as a rotten caliper and that he needed fluid flush, new rotors and pads. The estimate came out to just under 1k with a 39.99 discount. My husband who was home working spoke to the manager on the phone and declined. The price immediately dropped to 800. My son needed to drive to college classes the following day and my husband initially thought this might have been a more fair price so he approved.

After 3-5 minutes of research, he realized we were being scammed and called back. We were told we could not change our minds because we had already agreed to the repair. We sucked it up as our own fault and vowed never to go to Tire Kingdom again because the way my husband was spoken to when he called back was rude. My husband called corporate and asked a woman named Roche to have a manager call him back. No one ever did.

When I went to pay and pick up the vehicle with my son their computers were broken. An imprint was taken off my credit card after waiting 1 hour and I was promised a receipt via email the next day. I didn't receive one. I called back twice today requesting the receipt. The second time I spoke to Fellis (the same person who was rude to my husband on Monday). He said he was waiting on corporate for the invoice because it was a manual imprint. He interrupted me, raised his voice and was completely out of line. I called corporate again and spoke to Frank. He supported the prices we were charged without even looking at the invoice. He said the computer does it all and they can't adjust the prices even though they could give a $200 discount in the 10 seconds they thought they might lose the sale.

He spoke to me like a dumb women about Mitchell pricing standards for labor; even though I told him I knew what that was he explained it to me for 5 minutes including how it protected me as a consumer. At the end of the conversation he had the audacity to ask me what I wanted. I had to explain again that I wanted an invoice for the services rendered on Monday and I wanted an investigation into the pricing for the calipers, two year brake pads, rotors and a fluid flush. He was less than apologetic. DON'T DO IT FOLKS. FIND A PRIVATE MECHANIC, SMALL BUSINESS WHO WILL TREAT YOU FAIRLY. I seriously doubt they even did the brake fluid flush.

Although this has recently come to my attention because the situation constructed by the personnel at Tire Kingdom (Greenville, South Carolina) were responsible for hurting my credit after not providing service and repair promised; it is worth reporting the situation to the public in so that no one else suffers from this company locations' actions.

It was on a Memorial holiday that I had a visitor come up from Florida and we were to attend a ticketed event. I called Tire Kingdom to ask about service to diagnose and repair my car air conditioner. The company told me that if I could get there by about 2 pm they would diagnose the problem. My guest and I arrived by 2 and I was told it would be about 30 minutes. We sat and waited. 1 1/2 hours later, we had not learned anything. I was told that the a/c was being repaired already. When I asked what the problem was I was told it needed Freon. Seemed simple enough. I asked the cost of the diagnosis and repair (50.00 + 100.00) and wrote my check.

Another 1 1/2 hours passed. By this time the store was normally closing and all other customers had left, so what was taking so long? The two men operating the place at the time had not even come back to report anything. Further, I had tickets to an important event and a considerable drive left. It had begun raining very hard too, and being 90 degrees out, it was imperative that the a/c work. By 6:pm I was forced to go out to the garage area because no one had returned to talk to me or turn the car over. When I got into the area, two men were laughing and my car was already pulled out to the parking lot area. There was a strong odor of marijuana. I asked if they were done and one guy said they fixed it and handed me a key.

Furious over the inconsideration, my friend and I got in, and as stated, had to turn on the a/c due to extreme heat and rain, and we drove around the lot to see if it were actually working. I kept it blowing for 10 mins before I would leave. It was blowing hot air. I returned into the office and stated so. I asked why it was the exact way it was when I brought it in, and demanded a manager. One of the two I had been speaking with stated he WAS the manager. I asked why they returned the car apparently still broken, and explained that they had now ruined my event. I wanted my check back. The man then stated that he couldn't give it to me, it was in the safe or drop box. He then instructed me to cancel my check and that he was filling out a form to explain the payment cancellation.

So we now left without being provided the product and services charged, and therefore promised, lost an important costly ticked event, ruined my guest's cost and trouble he flew in for: and when I did as the so called "manager" instructed me to do... had my credit ruined, as now it appears on my credit report as a non payment. The employee(s) should be fired for how they handled this and for their behavior that day. Further, no payment should have been rendered, rather, I feel Tire Kingdom owes me. Needless to say, I will be informing anyone needing any service this company says they provide... DON'T DO IT!

My normal garage was busy, so I called Tire Kingdom to see if I could get an appointment to have the oil changed, the tires rotated and my spare repaired on my car. I was told that no appointment was necessary, just bring it in, drop it off, and they would get to it before the end of the day. When dropping the vehicle off, an attendant went out to look at the mileage of my vehicle, and apparently, look at the spare tire. They came back and said that they could not repair the tire because “it is a 2014 tire”, but that they could replace it.

No further explanation was offered, so I told them to not worry about the spare, to just get the oil change and tires. Tire Kingdom had my vehicle for several hours before calling me to come and pick it up. Upon arriving, I was asked my name, I told them. The person behind the desk asked, “Oh, the Suzuki”… I said, no. After looking for it, they found my vehicle, I paid and walked out while looking at my receipt. I noticed as I was walking to my car that the tires were not rotated, so I went back in and asked if they were, and was answered “Your tread is where you need it”… I’m sure my face looked astonished by their response… I went out for a moment, and couldn’t help but notice that the crew was inside pointing and talking about me.

I walked back in to get further explanation as to why my tires had not been rotated. I was immediately met with a rude tone and attitude. The response was “Despite what you think you might know, your tread is where it belongs”. Besides, your tires are worn down and need to be replaced, I can give you a quote. So, I asked why none of this was not explained when I paid. I was answered with more tone and attitude with “It’s on your receipt”. The receipt also says “to mind your tire pressure”, and both of my front tires were low on tire pressure. After getting my car home, I noticed that there was no sticker that should tell the mileage when the next oil change is due. I was charged $45 for just an oil change and a truckload of ineptitude and attitude.

Out of concern for the way we were treated, I took my car to my normal mechanic. Not only were they able to rotate the tires, but the tread was well above what was considered needing to be replaced. I have a hard time understanding why a company would refuse to do what a customer has requested, let alone simply put air in a tire. Is that part of a TIRE store's job description!?! It’s obvious to me that the primary goal of Tire Kingdom is to “up-sell” their customers. Rest assured that in the future I will not darken the doorstep of any of these franchises, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know who is looking for quality car care to looking anywhere but Tire Kingdom…

I tell him the car is still blowing hot air, he calls in a mechanic and tells him that my car is still blowing hot. I walk up to the counter as the mechanic is walking in, the front desk man is whispering to the mechanic. As soon as I reach the desk, they stop. Brought my car back Sundays and left it there all day same issue. Monday they had me bring my car back in first thing in the morning. They didn't even look at it all day. Tuesday they gave me a rental and my car sat there till Thursday and they still didn't fully fix the issue and my brakes still were not working properly but yet I still paid 600 dollars for them to not fix anything. If you value your time and money do not ever bring your car to a Tire Kingdom.

I have been a customer of Tire Kingdom for over 20 years. For the most part they treated me well, until a new manager on 41 South in Fort Myers FL put the wrong size brake pads on my car. After several trips back I was told that the pads were ok and the loud rattling noise was my problem. Going to another repair shop they showed me that the pads were about a half a inch too short. So after paying them $750 I went back and the Tire Kingdom manager told me it has been too long to fix the problem and in a roundabout way to get lost. So I had another shop fix the problem and saved the old shoes. Over 20 years of new tires and thousands in repairs they have lost me as a customer. I only wish the wrong size brake pads would have caused a accident so I could have sued them. The way they change managers like musical chairs is their biggest problem. Oh all my car is a Jaguar.

Took my car to the Lake City FL Tire Kingdom on 2/19/2018. I did not question the need for new front rotors & brake pads - also new calipers and front & rear shocks/struts. They never told me what the labor cost would be, and I should have asked. I was charged $650.14 for 4 hours work - come to $162.50 an hour. How is that possible? I do feel I was ripped off. Also, I had to take the car back (80 mi. round trip) because there was a clanging, metal on metal sound and the steering was pulling to the right significantly. They told me a sway bar had come loose - no, it didn't - it was never reconnected properly. They charged me for a front end alignment which was not done on the first visit - they did on the second visit. These people are criminals in my opinion. They will lie to you and do sloppy, indifferent work - Don't make the expensive mistake I did.

I expressed my concern about time. He jumped into action quickly. Got Tyler to remove old tire and place the new tire on. Within 10 minutes I was able to get back to my trailer. Got the tire on within 10 minutes till darkness. Thanks to the great service from Justin and Tyler I was able to continue on back to Ohio. I did not make a complaint until my car got a small screw in the side wall. Went to my mechanic and he said that Tire Kingdom should replace free of charge, I told my mechanic that I did not pay for the extra warranty and he said it was a road hazard and they should replace the tire free of charge. Tire Kingdom would not replace the tire without the road hazard warranty. This was the Tire Kingdom on College Rd 2357 SW, Ocala Fl. 34471 352-237-7900.

I've been taking my vehicles to Tire Kingdom for years. Our business has multiple vehicles and we have a couple of personal vehicles as well. Every time I go there is an issue. Missing work that was stated. I've had to check that they actually change the oil when I order that service. In 2016 they indicated a rear light had been replaced. When I went to the truck they didn't do it. The service Mgr came out and did it on the spot. They make recommendations for work that isn't needed. They wanted to replace all four shocks. I only needed the two rear shocks not all four. I took my F150 to them for tires on 09-21. They recommended new tires and shocks. I accepted the tires and rejected the shocks. I came home the battery was dead so I opened the hood and the engine cover was missing. They make recommendations that are not true, they miss items that should have been done, and now they have lost my engine cover.

Had it towed into Tire Kingdom, they replaced the valve stem and also the tire. Restarted the trip later on Sat. Throughout the trip the tire pressure sensors kept going off telling me I had low tire pressures, took it back to TK on Monday and TK told me that they just rebuild the TPMS and they can do nothing else. Took it back to the store for a check and the mechanic look and did something. The problem continue and took it back and the manager told me the mechanic was off and have to bring it back (kept driving it with that noise). Yesterday took it back to the store and the duty manager told me to leave it and he will check and call me.

After waiting all day and before closing time 6.00 PM, I call him twice (the first time put me on hold and never got to the phone). After I called back he told me that nothing can be done that day because the mechanic that did the job already got pay for that job and he is the only one that can work on it. When I pay for the job and did it to Tire Kingdom and not the specific mechanic. He happen to be off again yesterday and I got my car back in the same condition I took it. We would not eat a meal from a waiter as surely as a worker we encountered at Tire Kingdom, located at 2216 Aloma Ave. Winter Park, FL, and surely would not fly in an aircraft maintained by him. Until we can find answers to a host of problems, we also would not allow him or anyone else from Tire Kingdom near our car and advise others to do the same.

Our issues with TK arose soon after purchasing four tires (December 13, 2013), and dramatically worsened upon entering their wheel alignment program. Our final encounter was bad enough to trigger suspicions of technical malfeasance. We were looking for signs to trust TK, to get tire service and maybe more at their convenient location. We tolerated abrasive behavior as part of the business, hoping for improvement. Trust wasn’t going happen. This became abundantly clear on March 22, 2017, our final visit to TK.

On that day of our last visit, we phoned early to check on bringing the car for service. This was seven months after our prior visit (8/26/16), almost twice the four-month interval recommended to us by this dealer (perhaps because our mileage rate was so low). Until we learned to call before coming in and to arrive by 9 AM, service took most of the day. At least once, we left our car for contracted wheel alignment an entire day only to be told to try again another time.

So we arrived within one-half hour (9 AM) and were met by our usual contact. Bending down to unlock the office door, he said only “the key.” Upon rising, he extended his hand and repeated “the key.” Barely glancing at us and allowing no chance for conversation, he took the key and quickly walked away to work on our car himself, as two workers stood by watching. We were the only customers in sight, so we can’t attribute the particularly bizarre behavior to a busy time.

Upon his returning our car, we asked if he rotated the tires; he said “no,” that we only asked (on the phone) for alignment. He gave us no paperwork, saying we didn’t need paperwork with warranty work. We always received paperwork before. We left without a planned oil change or knowing what else needed to be done to our car, and no longer trusting this dealer to work on our car anyway.

March 28, 2017. Bringing our 2010 Honda CRV to a Honda dealership for an oil change, we were informed about a “dangerous leak” in our power steering – “rack and pinion” – system. Since Tire Kingdom had just performed a wheel alignment on our car six days before, we wondered if: the problem existed but Tire Kingdom didn’t detect it; they detected the problem, but didn’t report it to us; or they actually created the leak, accidentally -- or even maliciously.

Suspicions of technical malfeasance deepened because: For the first time in our experience with this dealer we noticed that our regular front office contact did the work himself (while other workers stood by talking), possibly so he didn’t involve others in misconduct. For the first time, we were not told about other services before proceeding with the requested work, perhaps because he just wanted us gone. For the first time we were given no documentation of the work performed, possibly so we would have no evidence that Tire Kingdom had any contact with our car at that time.

Less than a week later, the Honda dealer noticed our car needed a new rack and pinion, near the area where the Tire Kingdom representative had worked. (Had we waited longer for the oil change, we might not have connected the malfunction to TK, and the damaged front end might have caused a serious accident.) His manner, consistently brusque, became increasingly offensive after we purchased the alignment service program, becoming ludicrously abusive on the final day of service. The car mileage was low (40,000) and the car was well maintained, treated with extreme care, and stored in a garage.

We don’t want to cause more trouble but would like resolution. We wrote to the TK District Manager for a corporate response. He was pleasant but predictably defensive in a call back to us, saying he wanted our continued patronage and offering to be on site to assure things go well. But he didn’t ease our distaste and distrust for TK. It’s well over a month since he said that he would be back in touch in a few days, after a staff meeting. However, we have yet to hear from him again. We will sacrifice twenty months remaining on our alignment program and a lifetime tire rotation service. If Tire Kingdom wanted us gone, they succeeded.

On an old Colombo TV show, we all would know “whodunit” and it would just be a matter of bringing the perpetrator to justice. We could be wrong in this case, and TK might be innocent on a purely technical level, but that doesn’t begin to explain or excuse their shoddy actions throughout, or the guilty behavior on the final visit that had to be seen to be appreciated. Things could have gone a lot better if TK simply told us at the beginning what they needed from us to keep on good terms. Instead, TK pulled us in and then pushed us out… Never giving trust a chance. We ask Tire Kingdom to conscientiously investigate our concerns and report their findings back to us. We also ask for just compensation for all harms we suffered due to improper TK actions.

Judging by the number of complaints on their facebook page and other posts made by dissatisfied consumers on various websites I am not alone as I write concerning our experience with Tire Kingdom. I feel a bit of history is required here so people do not think I am the type of individual who complains about a business or service based on a first time basis.

I have resided here in Palm Coast, Florida for about 30 years. I know I was probably one of the stores first customers when they opened. Over the years I purchased quite a few sets of tires at this location in addition to having minor and major repairs done to all my vehicles. At one time I owned and operated a small landscape and irrigation company with as many as three company vehicles and two large trailers to maintain. Back in the late 70's and early 80's there weren't too many tire distributors available here in Palm Coast not counting Walmart with whom I had a few tire and battery problems with previously.

For the most part except for price of course I could be considered a satisfied consumer as far as Tire Kingdom is concerned. That all changed today in a matter of hours. Today is the 17th of December 2016, a Saturday. I have been ill and recently released from the hospital otherwise I would be the one doing the running around for our vehicle instead of my wonderful wife.

We already knew we were in need of two new tires, so as far as making a sale there would be no problem as far as the store was involved. I am not sure if the fact the clerk (he does not deserve any other title) was dealing with a woman came into play or not, but Vicky is no dummy especially when it comes to things such as knowing about types of tires, sizes, etc. If the clerk thought he was able to pull something over on her he would be sadly mistaken. She had previously purchased two tires earlier this year from this very store with no problem at all.

We wanted to get the remaining two tires changed plus have the oil changed prior to our planned trip North for the Holiday's. What should have been a routine purchase turned into something totally different in a very short period of time. It has ruined the relationship between a previously satisfied customer and an established business since there is no way we will ever do business with this company again unless it is an emergency.

I received a call from a very upset wife about 2.5 hours after she had left the house. Vicky had been treated very very badly by the people at Tire Kingdom to the point where she walked out of the store. After reading all the bad reviews about the company I knew I would be just wasting my time going there to complain. It seems according to the posts I have read this company could care less if you are satisfied or not. They do not follow-up the complaints with any positive action that I can see and no matter what, it seems their people can do no wrong. Fine, they can continue to have that attitude until the doors close. I just cannot see a company having that type of attitude these days with so many businesses bending over backwards to keep your business.

I still plan on writing the main office of the company even if all it does is make me feel better. I also intend on telling anyone who will listen to take their business elsewhere. There are now several other tire distributors in the area so we do not have to drive to Daytona Beach or elsewhere to get tires, and I hope I can hurt their business even a little.

The front desk was not busy when Vicky arrived. Two service writers and one customer was all that was there. It did not appear too busy in the back either and the parking lot was not as full as you would expect for a Saturday. Vicky asked the clerk who was free if he would look up our service record to see which tires we had purchased several months ago and to please give her a price on two matching tires. He was sort of annoyed at this request for him to do his job and told her it would be a couple of hours before she would be able to get the tires, oil change, etc. She was prepared knowing how crazy or funny a Saturday can turn out to be. He was avoiding giving her a price it seemed to her, no reason given. He then tells her to figure on a price of $260.00 without ever looking at a book, computer screen, nothing to go by.

Vicky tells him that the price is close to $100.00 more than she paid about six months ago, but that did not change his price or his attitude. He then tells her it may be better if she comes back tomorrow (Sunday) why we never found out. Could be he isn't working tomorrow, I don't know. What this clerk did was manage to cost his employer money now and in the future. I will continue to need tires for one or both our vehicles, but I had found a very special person to do repairs on our cars, Mobile Mark and his company are great, period. Vicky got the tires and oil change at Walmart spending about $100.00 less than the off the cuff quote from the tire kingdom clerk. I like saying "clerk". It rhymes with "JERK". And if he worked for me that is what I would do to him, jerk him away from my paying customers and send him packing.

I had the misfortune to have my car towed there with a flat tire and the entire experience was horrible right from the start.

First, John attempted to help me but acted annoyed and had limited communication skills or was too stressed out to. He first tells me he has ONE tire to offer me at one price but then we were actually charged a different price. Nor could he explain in detail about the tires other than what he read on his screen. In the middle of him helping me, his co-workers start talking to him so he stops and starts helping them which I found extremely rude. The entire visit went downhill from there.

We ended up buying 4 tires as I was stuck there with no other choice unless I had my car towed again at my expense which they knew. I was told it would be a "while" before they got to my car, I was there for 4 HOURS! With my dogs who were in the car when I got the flat. I could have had my dogs picked up if I'd known they were going to have me there that long! They took EVERY car ahead of me, one lady who wasn't even there waiting and didn't come back to get her car until 6:30pm while I sat there waiting.

Finally, at almost 7pm they finish my car then after leaving I find my phone charger cord was STOLEN!!! (This is the second time this has happened in FL at a car place.) Called John the next day and he DID NOT CARE ONE BIT and told me there was nothing he could do for me. I don't know how this guy is allowed to work with the public and became a manager. They were EXTREMELY SHORT staffed which doesn't surprise me with a manager like that, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a hard time retaining workers. The power steering fluid was low causing the buzz. I inspected the car and found the two right side wheels were damaged. It appeared the tech hit the wheels with the impact wrench since the damage was in the center of the wheel about an inch from the lug nut. Both wheels had identical damage.

The manager quickly said the damage was there before. He tried to tell me he has 18 years experience in wheels and the damage was curb rash. The mgr then explain to me that the front suspension control arm was bad and that was causing the noise, and it needed to be replaced, and replacing them will fix the problem. He told me that it will cost $525, I allowed the repairs. They called me around 7:30 p.m. (mind you, they had my car since 8 a.m.). After paying for my car and leaving, I wasn't completely satisfied, the noise still exist. I was going to take it back, but by the time I've would have got back there they would have closed. I decided to take it back the next day, but unfortunately I was hospitalized for several days the evening I got my car back.

I returned to Tire Kingdom a week later to inform them that my problem still exist, I was told by the mgr that his mechanic was on vacation for a week and to bring it back then. I was patient and did so, upon my return the mgr began to insist and argue with me, that he told me that this may not fix my problem. Which would be crazy for me to allow them to do work to my car with them being uncertain that it would fix the problem, especially at the tune of $525. Finally after disagreeing with him that he told me no such thing, he got mad and told me to leave, and to take my car to the dealership, and let them fix it. I told him I wasn't taking my car anywhere and called the police, after they investigation, they determined that I was truly mistreated, but it was a civil matter and there was really nothing they could do.

Since then I took my to another mechanic and it was determined that Tire Kingdom replaced a part that did not needed replace. My new mechanic shop called For Less, located 49th St. 2nd Ave. So find and fixed my problem and now my car runs great. I'll never take my car back to Tire Kingdom ever again, not even for tires, they will just sell you services that you don't need and when you complain they treat you like a nobody, and that's putting it nicely.

Oh and the one star is for the 3 dollar petcock they charged me 10 dollars for, I'm sarcastically giving them points for racking up the price and making a buck any way possible even if it means losing a customer.

claims to promote great customer service. Before going out of town on business, I took my truck in for service on June 15, 2016. A voice message was left on my cell phone by the store manager who gave me a "verbal estimate" of $2,460.00. I was told that a "final assessment" had been made and that the price of $2,460.00 would be the final out the door price including any taxes. The manager explained that the vehicle needed a rear end replacement to resolve the problem (even though the vehicle has been well kept). Because I had dealt with Tire Kingdom in the past without any problems, I verbally authorized him to complete the work based on his final assessment which he stated would solve all of my problems. Less than 24 hours later.I received a voice message stating that the price was increased to $4,100 even though I was originally told that I would only have to pay $2,460. At this point, my truck was totally taken apart and I was told by a service technician there would be a substantial fee if I decided to have them put it back together. When I went into the store to see about my truck, I was very upset about the price change and felt I had been robbed. The technician who was working the sales counter told me that if I didnt pay, they would keep my truck. I paid for the truck and made up my mind that this issue was not over.

I contacted the district manager and told him that I had done business with Tire Kingdom for many years, and never had any problems in the past. I told him about the price change and how uncomfortable I felt dealing with the technician. During the course of the conversation, the district manager became rude, unprofessional, and started yelling at me and really did not want to hear what I had to say. He told me that an additional assessment, although unusual, was the reason for the cost estimate increase, even though I had been given a final cost assessment. His attitude became offensive and he suggested that it was somehow my fault for allowing them to continue the work. He further suggested that the cost of them putting the vehicle back together would have been very costly, and that it was in my best interest to have the work completed as I did. When I disagreed with him, he became loud and I asked him why he was shouting. At this point, he became more confrontational and I realized that I was getting nowhere with the conversation (which was heard by someone else in the room because the call was on speaker). After realizing that Tire Kingdoms corporate office didnt care anything about my issue, I contacted the Consumer Affairs office who explained to me that there was not much they could do to resolve the problem. After several weeks, they received a response to my claim from Tire Kingdom which totally dismissed my claim and said that there was nothing they were willing to do.

That is not where the story ends! After returning from a pre-planned vacation, I drove the truck which had been sitting in the yard since we had been away. I kept hearing strange noises in the front end (which I had never heard before repairs were made) and noticed sensor lights coming on (which also had never been seen before the so-called repair). I was totally upset and my son had to calm me down. He suggested that we go to another Tire Kingdom that was close to where he lived for an assessment. On Sunday, August 14, 2016, we did just that (of which I have a copy of the estimate). After having Tire Kingdom in Jacksonville look at the vehicle that had not been driven more than 500 miles, they discovered it needed work on the front end, at the tune of $1,671.40, which was never part of the original final assessment. So now I have a truck that I have invested over $4100 dollars, and still needs almost $2000 dollars of more work, even after Tire Kingdom in Gainesville, Florida told me that no further repairs were necessary. I am a senior citizen and this has been very distressing which is why I am begging you to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, whatever YOU do---NEVER DEAL WITH TIRE KINGDOM!

Last year 2015, our A/C went out right in the smack of Florida summer. We took it to Tire Kingdom on Kirkman Road. They fixed the A/C with all new parts and we spent $1,175.00. In the beginning of summer this year 2016 the A/C started blowing hot air whenever we stopped at a light. It would work when we were driving, so we took it back. They checked it and said nothing was wrong with the A/C that everything was working properly. We are not mechanics but I don't think it should start blowing hot air when you are at a light. A month later it's blowing hot air ALL the time. Now we are pissed. We go back and they "check" it and then tell us that the A/C is fine. It's that we are having electrical issues and they would charge us $100 just to take a look at it.

Obviously we left. We then took it to Goodyear where they told us that there was a A/C fuse missing and that's all it took. The A/C runs perfect and they didn't even charge us to look at it. We will never go back to that Tire Kingdom on S Kirkman Road, Orlando Florida and we will make sure that none of our friends go there either. All our friends will start going to Goodyear on 601 N. Bumby Avenue Suite A, Orlando Florida 32803. Believe me my husband works as maintenance of an apartment complex everybody asks him about a shop that we can recommend and believe me we are saying Goodyear and make sure to never go to Tire Kingdom. They will trick you and lie to you and make you spend money that you don't need to spend.

I went to tire kingdom in Winter Haven Fl to replace two of my tires. They had a promotion going on and for $50 more I could replace all four tires. That sounded like a great deal so why not. They were not busy and told me my car would be ready in an hour and a half. Well 4 hours later I get a call to come pick up my car. I asked the guy at the desk why it took so long and he said one of the guys broke the sensor so we had to replace it.

The next morning when I am on my way to work a TPMS lights up on my dashboard. I call Tire Kingdom and the guy tells me to bring it in and they will check the tires. What the? Shouldn't they have done that before I left. Well I took my Civic in and they tell me the sensor was bad and needs to be replaced. It will cost me $125 plus labor. What? All the sensors worked when I took the car in. They broke one of them when they changed one of the tires maybe they broke more than one and only admitted to breaking one so I would have to come back. Well my husband was very upset and told them we were not going to pay for something they had done. We left without getting the sensor replaced. These are the kind of mechanics that we are warned about. They fix one thing break another so you keep coming back. We will not be going there again and I advise you not too. They are very shady.

I moved to Delray last year and someone I used to work for recommended Tire Kingdom for auto work. Last November they replaced leaking rear differential seals on my Honda CRV. I found them very pricey and last week I did some calling around for price comparison on auto services. I settled on a small Asian car service company that got great reviews and has been in business for over 20 years. I brought the car in for a 75 K check. I was told rear differential seal were leaking. Frankly I was floored since last November I paid Tire Kingdom close to $700.00 to have work done. Since the invoice stated work was still under warranty, I drove to Tire Kingdom.

I asked to speak to the manager and showed him the invoice and said "you did the work last November. I just had another mechanic told me rear differential is leaking and the work is under warranty." The manager, a young man with who I had some issues last year, immediately got very defensive and demanded to know who told me, have they shown me the leak and generally made me feel stupid. When I told him who inspected the car his very sarcastic comment was "well, that sure sounds like a very reputable company." Then he begrudgingly said "if you bring it in, we'll take a look."

I offered to bring it in the next day but I added that since I work, if I get the car in by 8 am I would like to have it back by noon. He told me that was impossible because other cars come in during the day. I immediately understood that he was gong to try to keep me there sitting for as long as possible. We finally settled on Saturday, this coming August 13th at 8:30 am.

I have contacted corporate via Twitter and see how they respond. This is not over yet, but they seem to lack basic customer service skills besides charging 1/3 more than what other places in the area charge for comparable services. I will post the outcome of this next week and will also post a review on Yelp and TripAdvisor and F/B. P.S. I have a copy of the invoice if needed.

Case Description: We own a Honda Civic, which is a very reliable vehicle, and we maintain it very well. We change the oil every 2900-3500 miles, and have all records of repairs/oil changes. We took our vehicle to Tire Kingdom in Melbourne, FL for a routine oil change. Our car was running perfect, and there were no issues with our vehicle. So, we had the oil change done. On the receipt, there was nothing indicating anything wrong with our vehicle. (Tire Kingdom is required to notate any findings of necessary repairs on your vehicle any time they have your vehicle in their shop.) The only notation was that our tires were not rotated; They didn't need to be. We had new tires put on our vehicle within the year.

My husband and I were driving on Hgwy A1A on 7/15/16, and next thing you know, our oil light starts flickering. I made my husband aware of this and said, "Huh. That's weird. We just got our oil changed within 13 days." All of a sudden, the car starts making this horrible noise coming from the engine. Our car loses power, and it was really scary. We pull over. We pop the hood. My husband checked the dipstick for oil. Bone dry! No oil whatsoever in our oil tank!! Really?! We thought, "Well maybe if we put oil in it, the car will start back up..." My husband didn't think it would because once the bearings in your engine are gone, there is no hope. We tried 2 quarts anyway- nope. Nothing as we suspected.

We called Tire Kingdom. We told them what happened and how upset we were being stranded, and that this was complete negligence on their behalf. Tire Kingdom took responsibility, and has our car towed back to their shop. I followed up the next day, and sure enough, our engine was fried due to the mechanic not putting our oil filter back on correctly causing oil to leak and engine to fry. Now they are not trying to take responsibly. This is unacceptable! The manager admitted to me that whomever serviced our car was terminated, and "that was all he could discuss since their insurance was involved." Need justice.

I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, and Tire Kingdom is now saying that there was an oil leak in the crank shaft seal. Hahahahaha! If that were the case, I am pretty sure we would know about it. Also, Tire Kingdom would have seen that during their "routine inspection" when they did the oil change. Why wasn't it documented via Tire Kingdom? And now all of a sudden, there is something "wrong" with my car? Please.

So here was my response: "Really? Crank shaft seal? I am sure you found oil around the crank shaft seal because my husband accidentally spilled some oil because we did not have an oil funnel to put oil in the car after our engine seized! Why can't you accept responsibility that you screwed up??? It happens! You fired the person who serviced our car! I am surprised our car lasted for 12 days! We have taken very good care of the vehicle, and NEVER had any issues with it. As it was explained to me, the leak started slow, and due to the pressure of the negligence of the filter not being placed correctly, all the oil came rushing out like a river. When we got home that night, we saw ALL OF THE OIL IN OUR DRIVEWAY! Shall I take a picture? You know what, no worries. My attorney will be contacting you, AND, you best believe that I am going live on TV about this!"

"Also, please enjoy the link I have provided to establish a pattern of negligence from other customers that have dealt with with your SHADY, UNPROFESSIONAL, CROOKED ways! Consumers need to be aware of how you take advantage of folks, ignore legitimate faulty repairs, and do not take responsibility for YOUR negligence, Tire Kingdom! I will on TV by Wednesday, guaranteed! You do not stand behind your work, and it is a shame. Here is the link so you can see the pattern of negligence from other consumers: https://www./tires/tire_kingdom.html -Unacceptable. Irresponsible. Total INJUSTICE!"

We couldn't run the compression test because the water pump was bad." "Wait. What??? So you replaced the water pump anyway?" So for another $1500 they can fix that and I have no truck for work. They claim I blew the head gasket driving it overheated. Not true. How about doing what you said you were going to do. Finding the problem and letting me know before just doing something. I went into the location and my car was checked in under the normal wait although the staff member acknowledged it was he who put me on hold and never came back. After about 10 minutes that staff member went to the car and looked at the tire and said it would probably not be patchable due to the wear on the side wall of the tire from the flat. Instead of the staff member getting someone to check the tire out to confirm he told me to wait. After that 2 females who appeared to be in high school came inside the location and chatted with the staff member sitting behind the desk. It was apparent at this point that this location was unprofessional. Those females walked in and out of the location as if they were the owners.

More young people (guys) who were not getting service came in and sat inside the waiting room. About 1 hour and a half into my wait I asked how much longer it would be before they could check my car and he responded I was next. Approximately 45 minutes later my car tire was checked and a staff member advised me that he did not find a hole in the tire... I drove off and the next morning my car tire was flat. I then drove the car to a different Tire Kingdom location who immediately took my car in, checked the tire, and found a hole. Very dissatisfied customer at this point.

I visited Tire Kingdom store number 956 at 7601 Majorca Place in Orlando, FL for the first time this past Monday to get a tire switched out and another replaced. Service was great, relatively quick since I was a walk-in, and they gave me a great price on a new tire and the install. Two days later I found out both of my brake lights are out. I return to have that looked at. They quote me a reasonable price ($16) over the phone and then claim I misheard them when they hand me a $56 bill. They claim I had signed the invoice at that price but the invoice was blank when I signed it because they hadn't even looked at the car yet.

They tried charging me for a half hour of labor ($48.50) to change two light bulbs, claiming it was the "industry standard." I called a couple shops and that is definitely not the industry standard. They took $20 off the price which I appreciated and thought was fair. Then, less than an hour after picking up the car the TPMS light suddenly comes on. I maintain my car just to avoid unexpected issues. I was willing to give benefit of the doubt for both tail lights going out but I find it highly suspicious that I now have another indicator light on within an hour of picking up my car. I called to complain and ask for what to do, and I'll admit I wasn't exactly nice but I wasn't yelling or screaming. The woman who answered said simply that they did the service requested and had nothing to do with this new issue and then pretty much hung up on me.

I will never bring my car to these people again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else either. I can't prove whether or not they messed with my car but knowing how well I maintain it and the highly suspicious timing of all these things suddenly going wrong. I will be calling the corporate office to suggest they audit the activities of this location to ensure they are not doing anything illegal in an effort to guarantee themselves business.

He said if I didn't settle down he was going to call the police. I said "Go ahead. You have my car and I want it."

Anyway I asked him why it took 2 and a half hours to replace two tires. He just shrugged again. I was taking the car to the shop for my girlfriend who has been there before. But never again. This is in regard to the Mount Dora/Tavares location on 441. I've been a customer at Tire Kingdom for years, mostly because they're right down the street from where I live. I know they overcharge, so if I have anything major I need done, I go somewhere else. But I usually go there for routine things like oil changes and getting my tires checked because it's close and more convenient. I put about 100 miles a day on my car because I use it for work, so I need tire and oil service frequently.

I don't know why I was treated this way. I just walked in and waited patiently, not saying a word. I kept trying to make eye contact with the guy behind the counter, but he was busy chatting with the customer in line ahead of me. But I waited quietly. I work in hospice so I'm a very patient person. Then a man came in and the guy behind the counter said, "How can I help you?" Then started waiting on this guy who just came in when I'd been standing there in plain sight, in a bright blue shirt, the only other person in the place for a good 10-15 minutes. So once he finished with that guy I walked right up the counter and put my keys down, purposely making sure they made enough of a sound to announce my presence. This man refused to acknowledge me.

He continued chatting with the customers who had been ahead of me, completely avoiding eye contact. Then ANOTHER customer, also a man, walked in and asked about a tire rotation. Then HE was taken care of as well! I have no idea what this guy's problem was, if it's because I'm a woman or because of my age or my quiet demeanor. No idea. I tried to smile at him when I came in. I wasn't wearing a scowl or appearing otherwise unapproachable. I've had other small things happen where the service was questionable, but I've never had a service person be so blatantly rude to me in all the time I've come to this location. I won't be back, even though it's so close to my house.

I took my 2005 Malibu to Tire Kingdom at 4401 W SR 46 in Sanford, FL in the Spring of 2015. Over the course of three to four weeks, I spent $900 on brake work and well over $2000 on an over-heating issue. They would tell me it was fixed, I would pay and the car would promptly over-heat again. The final "fix" was that they replaced the head gasket (the most expensive fix). I paid and picked it up. We have been putting coolant in it about every 2 weeks since then but it managed to not over-heat for about 5 or 6 months. Then the entire nightmare began anew. The car was finally parked and a new car was purchased because this one couldn't get out of the neighborhood without over-heating.

My son's girlfriend lives with us and needs a car to get to school and work. I decided we'd see what the problem is with the Malibu so she could use it. We had TWO mechanics look at the car and both of them told me the same thing - nobody ever replaced that head gasket. I was shown the grime that was untouched and the bolts that have absolutely no marks on them to indicate that any tool has ever touched them. These men believe that although I paid to have the gasket replaced, Tire Kingdom used a patch kit to flush through the system. That would also explain the constant leak of coolant! It worked for a few months to keep at an almost normal level but eventually the original problem - the blown gasket - reared its head and caused issues. This place is a disgrace. I've never been so disappointed in any establishment as I am now in Tire Kingdom. Save yourself the headache and financial stress and take your car somewhere else!

On December 2nd 2015, I went to purchase some brand new tires for my Chevrolet suburban along with my son. We get to tire kingdom that afternoon. My purchase for tires Came out to be $805. I gave the employee $805 in cash in hand Alongside with my son being a witness. He checks me out - everything is all good. Before I arrived I spoke to the manager. I was telling him that I was going to pay with cash. He stated that my payment option would be accepted yet he mentioned there was a rebate on the tires for $80 and I could take advantage of that if I so well pleased. He stressed to me the rebate was on their Tire kingdom credit card. He said if I payed cash I would still be able to get the rebate. They would just apply the charge that I did in cash in the system so it would show up that I'm approved for the Rebate.

But instead of that they double charged Me $805. I found this out when my credit card statement came to me on January 14th 2016 in the mail. I called the manager spoke to him. Telling him my issues with one of my friends on the phone. Came up there the next day. He acted as if he never spoke to us. These people have bad customer service plus Care for people. I told him my son saw one of his employees take the cash out of my hand. My son was even a witness And I couldnt get a refund because on my receipt it just said the amount owed which $805 and then just $00.00 not saying which way I payed. Because in all businesses they are suppose to put on the receipt how much and which way a customer payed - these people did not.

Therefore I am suing tire kingdom and will get justice for my cause. These people steal and arent justified. They dont even have cameras in their facility. Never do business with tire kingdom. They will screw you over big time.

After sitting in the waiting area for a while I was told to come in the garage to show that I needed brake pads so I give the OK for that but how much is it? Before I get the price on the pads he's walking and naming things that needs to be done. While I'm waiting for the price now he's mentioning prices for what I don't know. It turned out to be $843.00? I get home and look at the folded paper he handed me. I saw a price for inspections and warranties among other things that wasn't discuss. Returned today furious.

I brought my car to Tire Kingdom 1544 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL. on 01/07/2016 to have an alternator replaced at a cost of $380. This repair shop was the closest to me when the alternator failed. After 4 1/2 hours later, I received the car back from Tire Kingdom, with the new alternator installed. They had originally quoted me a time of 2 1/2 hours time to do the repair. After driving the car later that night, a continuous high pitched sound started coming from the alternator area. The car never made a sound like this until it was worked on by Tire Kingdom. I brought the car back the next day at 9 am on 01/08/2016 and spoke to **, the store manager. He said that I had to wait for the mechanic that replaced the alternator to show up at 10 am. At 10:20 am the mechanic shows up. ** had a rude unprofessional tone and tried to make excuses saying that the tension pulley could be causing the noise.

When the car was initially brought in there was no noise whatsoever from the alternator or tension pulley. Now after Tire Kingdom has worked on the car new problems have been created. The tension pulley and the alternator belt were replaced at an additional cost of $100 by Tire Kingdom. It was charged to me. Total cost to me is now $480. The car was driven for several days. On Wednesday, 1/13/16 while driving the car, it stopped running completely. I had 50 feet to allow the car to roll onto a side street off the main road. The engine would now not start or turnover. The failure occurred 100 feet before entering a bridge and I could have been seriously injured by the shoddy repair work done at Tire Kingdom. The car had power but the engine dead. It only made a ratcheting sound when I tried to restart it. I am not a mechanic so I just assumed that the car stalled out.

After I could not get the engine to turnover, I called for road side assistance to have the car towed. I had the car towed to Honda, my regular place of service and a competent repair facility. The car has been under service in Honda since it was purchased. I did not trust Tire Kingdom to touch the car since there have been nothing but problems with their repairs. After the car was removed from the tow truck, I went to my Honda service adviser. We tried to start the car again. My adviser immediately told the engine had no compression.

Honda determined that the alternator belt came off was incorrectly installed by Tire Kingdom and that it caused the extensive engine damage. The new belt because twisted up and caught behind the timing belt causing the engine to stop and now become non operational and destroying the compression. The car now requires over $6000 in engine repairs due to faulty repairs and incompetence by mechanics at Tire Kingdom. Tire Kingdom has refused to cover the $6000 expense to fix the car.

The next morning (Sunday) I went out to redo my wife's rear brakes, and what happens next... while loosening the lug nuts I discover (1) is cross threaded and it breaks off while trying to loosen it. Call Tire Kingdom, get manager, he apologizes and states they will fix it in the morning as we already have another appointment to have Tire Kingdom replace front wheel bearings. We say, "OK." A few Hours later I am being rushed to an Emergency room 1 hour north, and after being discharged @ approximately 10:30 pm, my wife is helping me limp out to our car only to find the brand new driver front tire is totally flat. (63) miles on a Brand new tire and it's flat. No nails, No Puncture but it is FLAT. It's now 10:30 pm and we are stranded at the hospital due to the negligence of Tire Kingdom.

The next morning, (Monday) "we had already have a scheduled appointment to have Tire Kingdom replace both front wheel bearings". We had to call and tell them about the flat tire and cross threaded lug nut that broke off while trying to replace the rear brakes. They say, "No problem, we will fix both mistakes when you come in, in the morning." Monday morning arrives, we take the car in for all the mistakes and front wheel bearings replacement. They apologize and claim to fix everything. We leave.

Tuesday Morning 12/01/2015, we wake up my wife is preparing to leave for work, she takes her lunch and briefcase out to the car, and what does she see... the same driver side front tire is flat again. Tire Kingdom apparently hires the most incompetent workers in the industry, and just as sad the management team is just as inept for allowing the customers to get ripped off. If you see a TIRE KINGDOM don't stop, RUN, drive to the next tire store. They can't be any worse. Tire Kingdom... We spent over $1,000.00 with you in the last 72 hours, never again!!!

The store is generally clean and fancy, but it's not worth it. I mean I'm a part time employee who pays for his own college, and last thing I want is a heartless poker face guy telling me to do an engine diagnostic check "to check what's wrong with my engine" for a $92. Like seriously? Does ** to think it's normal to pay a guy who went to a technical school for 11 months 92 dollars for wasting my own gas and taking off the engine cover? No, I don't like that. Besides, $9 for disposing the used oil? maybe that's normal for most of you, but for me it's worth an hour of standing on my feet smiling at ** people while folding pricey tshirts.

Hold on I'm not done yet, $35 shop fee? You gotta be freaking kidding me! So you don't just charge me your employee's fee, the parts which you're making profit out of (at least 50%profit), making pay for trashing the oil which your business is all about, but I also have to pay for "the tools the employees used while fixing your car". Yeah welcome to Florida, people, where a screwdriver and some ** tools cost 35$ for a single use! I gotta admit though, the coffee machine is pretty nice. When I become a doctor, I'll pass by the shop and piss on it then slip and fall, and pay my lawyer $579.47 to sue your ** organization, blood suckers, **, marketing thieves, Sincerely, The guy with the zee.

Tires under recall from Hankook. Needed inspection for replacement. The corporate office told me to go to Tire Kingdom because they sell that brand there. I got there at 5:30-6 after work. I waited for about 30 mins., before they told me it was too late to do an inspection. I had to come back earlier in the day. So I started to leave. Problem was, my car was in the air in the garage. I told one of the techs that one of my tires was low on air, and could they fill it.

It took him 30 min to find an air hose (or so he said). When he brought my car to me, he pointed out air was hissing from the low tire... And he said he put 40 lbs of air into it. Tire went completely flat as I drove home. Could hear the tire flapping and car almost out of control. Thank God I live close. I could have had a blow out. I'll never go back there again.

I waited 2 1/2 hours and paid $299.97 for everything. As soon as we got outside, we noticed they replaced the front tires that were fine while the back ones weren't touched. My boyfriend had him check them and the owner said they will replace the back tires with used ones and give us a deal on brakes. If they couldn't do a simple task of swapping out the right tires, I don't want them anywhere near my brakes! I would've preferred the good tires in back with my old tires or better in front. Never going back to them again!!

And they advertise the $20 oil change to lure you in, then tell you your car needs this and that and the other thing. I have no idea how honest they're being - couple this with them having cranked up the stereo, which was off when I dropped the car off, and turned on the CD player, which hadn't been on when I turned it off at drop-off, and they come across as unprofessional and untrustworthy. The employees don't seem like mechanics - they seem like thug-ish 20-somethings from off the street with nose piercings and tattoos up and down their arms. They're not very friendly either. I ask that the two really unnecessary tires that was sold to me to fix a shimmy problem that turned out to not be the case to put on the front after speaking to my husband and I was told no because DOT had come in and changed the rule on putting the newest on front and it was against company policy. So Tire Kingdom, is this true or they just did not want to change them? Too much unsatisfaction to mention. I gave them the benefit of doubt too many times, but no longer have confidence in this company. They see single women come in and the $$$ signs go up. So sad! Services sold by manager request to solve problem which did not. Felt taken advantage of and problems still exists.

Last year, I bought 4 new tires from TK. Thereafter, I started getting my scheduled oil changes there. First couple were fine, short wait times, no negative issues. A couple months ago, went for an oil change and had to wait over 2 hours, with several mechanics apparently just standing around. The morning after their work, I had a puddle of oil on my garage floor. Went back to TK, and they found the drain plug hole was stripped. The manager on duty actually tried to convince me this was fairly normal for a 4-year old Toyota Avalon, because "they just use cheap metal nowadays." I did not accept that explanation, and he finally agreed to replace my oil pan. It took 5 days, and they made me wait 3 hours, even though I had an appointment.

So, problem solved? Not! I saw a couple drips of oil on the garage floor, but figured it was just residual from the pan replacement. Even so, I decided to go back to the dealership for my next oil change. They found that the pan gasket was leaking, and in trying to tighten the nuts, they found the bolt holes stripped. Told me I would have to have the upper pan replaced, along with new gaskets and so forth. The final repair was about $750. And by the way, they also found, in doing the tire rotation, that 3 of the 4 TK tires had not even been balanced! So my wife's confidence in any repair facility besides the dealership is shot, as is my standing in her eyes because I recommended TK to save a few bucks. I won't go back to TK for anything, and I'll think long and hard about other independent garages as well.

At approximately 2:30 p.m I drove into the business right here in Tarpon Springs off of East Lake rd to see why my right rear passenger tire was leaking air. A very small minor leak If I might add. I walked into the establishment where I met PETE the store manager. I told PETE my situation about the leak and informed him that I just recently purchased 4 new tires from another company in Largo Florida about two weeks ago. My vehicle is a BMW M3 2006. After explaining to Pete about my situation he informed me he would have Dakota who is a technician there look into my problem and let me know the result. Ten minutes later Dakota comes out and lets me know that there is good news.

He said that I don't have a nail or anything but he thinks the bead may need some sealant. He informed me that there is nothing wrong with the tires or wheels and I could either let him fix it or take it back to where I purchased the wheels. Now being that my tire is leaking at a slow rate and this being the reason I came I asked Dakota if he would be so kind to fix it for me. Dakota said "no problem" and proceeded to do so. Two minutes later PETE the store manager came waking through the door with a whole different demeanor than when we first met and repeated what Dakota had already told me but said he will not fix the tire???

I then said "well your technician already to me he would fix the tire". He said "Look at the shirt, he works for me and does what he is told." I said "excuse me?" He said "I am not going to risk scratching a $700 wheel for a $20 fix!" I then said "so what if I was to have pulled in here needing four brand new tires?" PETE then said "well then that would be a different story. We are talking about a bigger sale." Are you kidding me!!! This is ridiculous and unacceptable professionalism from a store manager. I say this because I am in the customer service industry myself at a very high volume **** restaurant close by the business of Tire Kingdom of Tarpon Springs. Now Dakota was very professional and helpful and told me he wished there was something he could do. I understood and told him not to worry, I would handle it.

Just to add insult to injury there was a lady who walked in and PETE started to talk to her in a very agitated and unprofessional manner also, probably because of the situation that just took place, but all in all unacceptable. I understand that the district manager's name is Scott from what I learned from PETE, so hopefully I will be able to get in touch with him shortly or be receiving a call with an apology.

Again very very disappointed with this outcome and will continue to make sure PETE never treats anyone like the kind lady and myself got treated today. After the confrontation PETE then tried to tell me to wait outside for my car. I ignored that if you can imagine what I wanted to say... I then left with my tire still leaking and unsafe to drive where I then proceed to go to have it fixed at another shop. PETE needs to be taught a lesson in customer service and in life in general when it comes to speaking to the public. But thank you Dakota for all your help. I just hope that hopefully you don't get talked to like crap all day everyday by that sorry excuse for a man whose name is PETE. Looking forward to hearing from someone in charge very very soon! Have a great day.

Then I noticed the extension bar (to lower/raise the spare) was still in the hub, not stowed in storage compartment like it was before. What happened to putting thing back the way you found them??? On 7/14/15, I left my 2011 Hyundai at Tire Kingdom in Deerfield Beach FL and requested an oil/filter change and rotate tires. When I picked up the car in the afternoon, I was given 3 pages recommending two new tires, tire balance, front end alignment, coolant flush/exchange, new brakes, reface rotors and replace brake fluid. The recommended work would be $1,662.14. I reviewed the recommendations with the manager in detail and said I would consider the work for the future repairs. I paid my invoice for the oil/filter change and tire rotation. The invoice included the name of the technician that signed off on the work performed.

When I returned home with the car I noticed that the tires were not rotated. In addition, I noticed that the brake dust was still on all 4 wheels which means no tires were ever removed from the car. My complaint is, how can anyone perform a brake inspection and making recommendations to replace them without removing any of the tires? This is gross misrepresentation of the work performed and unsupported recommendations for repairs. After 30 years, I retired from Pirelli Tire Corporation as an Advance Tire Research and Special Products Engineer Manager. I also served as a Federal Court Appointed Technical Expert for tire lawsuits. I believe my professional background will validate my complaint.
