Went in for a tune-up. Came out still needing the tune-up. They charged me 1,200. Every time I go in there to get one thing fixed, I come out with 10 things they charge me for. People are rude and unhelpful and I don't think there's a real mechanic in the whole shop because they had no idea what was wrong with my car after the tune-up.

After getting four tires in February 2025, was driving down the expressway when it was raining and my car was sliding all over the road, when I looked at my back tires I noticed that the tread was half gone on the outside of both back tires. Took my vehicle back to Tire Kingdom. The manager who I've never seen there before said that I had to have gotten in an accident or something, which I had not or done anything out of the ordinary. I also told him when I got the tires they talked to me in to getting an alignment coz they said that I needed one, after the first day of driving had to take it back because the alignment was so off my assisted driving wouldn't work and it was all over the road. The technician told me the one that did the alignment didn't have as much experience and that he was more experienced in doing alignments.
Now after only 4 months I was told I had to pay $200 to get two new back tires because I did not pay for road hazard, had several people who are more knowledgeable look at the tires and they all agree that either they're defective or the alignment was messed up. The manager was very nasty about it, and told me it was something that I did and no matter what I was going to have to pay the prorated amount and that I had no warranty because I did not purchase the road hazard. he was also a real jerk to me and got right in my boyfriend's face who has a corporate account there at least for now

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have been going to Tire kingdom in Pompano Beach Florida for years. Recently I went to have a tire patched and they told me my brakes had 10% of life in them. I didn't put new brake pads on and went to have my car serviced at the dealer, who told me my brake pads are fine and have plenty of life left. Places like this are the reason people don't trust mechanics. I will never go back there, and thank you for trying to scam me.

Michigan resident trying to get tires put on a vehicle located in Florida, at Tire Kingdom (now called Mavis) in Punta Gorda. I spoke with an employee about putting new tires on a vehicle which would be brought over by a Florida friend. The employee took my deposit over the phone, using my credit card. I asked if it was okay to call me for payment, when the job was done. The employee agreed to my request, given I was in Michigan. On the day of service (1 week later) I received a call for payment. The employee told me he couldn’t accept my payment over the phone, per company policy. This was after I specifically asked about giving payment over the phone. I had to ask the friend to pay for the tires, which was very frustrating. Needless to say, I will never do business with Tire Kingdom again, due to the company policy and lack of communication. I am very disappointed with this company!!

Took my Lexus IS250 for an oil change. They called about 30 minutes later and said my rear brake pads were at 5% and asked if I wanted to have them replaced. The price with a brake fluid flush was a little over $400 which I found expensive so I decided not to do it. On the way home I purchased a set of premium brake pads for the rear for about $70. When I got home I removed the rear tires and began replacing the pads. To my surprise, all 4 pads were at 50% or more. I went ahead and changed them anyway since I had already bought the pads and the old pads were already off.
Next day I went to the store with the pads and asked the manager which of the pads was at 5%. He looked at them and said: "I wasn't the one that looked at them." So he just basically tried to wash his hands. I told him that I did not care who looked at them. They all work for the same company and had to stand behind their word. He was in shock but could not even offer an apology. I told him this is a very dishonest practice and that I was going to leave reviews everywhere I could about the incident. This happened at the Cape Coral store located on Skyline Blvd and Veterans Pwy. Just a word of caution if you go there, make sure to ask for the replaced parts or check them yourself. There are 5 vehicles in my household and none of them will be ever serviced at this or ay Tire Kingdom location.

On 05/03/2023 while performing my vehicle's third oil change, my 2 years old Camry rocker panel covers were damaged by Tire Kingdom at 1416 W NEW HAVEN AVE MELBOURNE, FL 32904-3904 321-380-3654. On the next day I returned to show the damage to the manager **. Very politely Mr. ** asked for my name and phone number. He added that needed to make phone calls, order parts, etc., etc.
One month later I return to ask for status of ordered parts. I was told that back-order parts was the issue that I had to wait until they could ship them to us. One or two more months went by and I returned to ask for status. I was told that the company went through ownership changes and that that was also delaying things. Then I returned or called one more time later and I was told that the parts were not even ordered since the money for it had not trickled down just yet. Ok, at this point now I am 100% sure that Tire kingdom/Mr. ** is lying to me. I realized that it has taken me some time to report this and that I should have done it right when it happened but I was played/lied-to very well by Mr. **, the manager.
The cost to repair the damage caused by Tire Kingdom, will be over $2000 since the new rocker panels will need to be also painted by a body shop. Yes, I complain online and they made me go through the process of obtaining 3 repair estimates but I never heard again from Tire Kingdom ever again. Since then, Tire Kingdom has not and will never see any of my vehicles, or my money again!!! I have also asked my two children and spouses never to use Tire Kingdom. That's about 5 cars or 10 oil changes or around $1000/year that Tire Kingdom will not see again.

Today I hoped for an apology from the manager at the royal palm beach store. Instead I got an excuse rather than recognition of how much their mistake actually cost me. So back on 6/10/2024 I took my wife Ford F150 to Tire Kingdom for service. One of the services was new brakes and rotors. Upfront, I just knew brake pads in the rear. A few days after the repair was done, my wife noticed that it was shaking when she hit the brake pedal, the steering wheel would shake.
Instead of taking it in right away, we thought, let's give it a few days or sometime to see if it was just something that would go away, but it didn't. After some time, it was getting worse until it got to the point that I had to take it in for service To see what happened. At first, the manager said that it was probably the brake caliper that was failing. But I interested that it was not and that it was just one of the rotors had gone bad it warped somehow, so then the manager went and told me that it cost him $200 out of his pocket. In order to repair the truck and that I should be appreciative of that, which I watch because I had assumed that the vehicle was now safe to drive, fixed is what I was told. But just a couple of days afterwards, my wife said, honey, it is starting to do the same thing again. Of course, I couldn't believe it. So I told her keep driving it and I'll get a chance to drive it on Saturday.
Saturday came and I drove it. It was bad when you put your foot on the brake. The steering wheel would almost rip right out of your hands. It was so bad. Now, mind you, I had already brought this in 2 Tire Kingdom. Term fixed the mistake. The first time they didn't, but they told me they did. So now yesterday I took the truck to Ford and Ford went ahead and put 2 brand new rotors. Add to brand new sets of brake pads on the vehicle. I then drove the vehicle, and it is perfect. No vibration, no shaken steering wheel. It's exactly the way it should be.
So on the way home from picking it up from Ford. I stopped the Tire Kingdom and I asked to speak with the manager who was not there. Then I spoke with 2 of the gentlemen who worked there, and they asked me every question that should be asked, and they agreed that there was something That was missed. By the manager and the mechanic at that time when I brought it back the first time for them to fix it, they didn't. I was told that he probably just put new pads on it and hoped it would go away, but it didn't. And then I said, all I want is for this guy to call me and recognize the mistake he had made. By setting my wife back out on the road with the vehicle that was not safe to drive. That's not what I got.
I got called back by the manager who insisted that I should've just brought it back to him. So he could address it. I explained to him that after I brought it back to you. The first time to address it and you did not get it right. I wasn't willing to take the second chance. The man did not apologize flat. He did not apologize for the inconvenience. He did not apologize that. It cost me an additional $650 to correct his problem. After all, I took it to them cause I wanted to support small business. And perhaps save a few bucks. In turn, it cost me more and the manager would not apologize for that. Therefore, I'm writing this review to let everybody else know. The character of the man who's running Tire Kingdom. I ran a business for 40 years. I never treated a customer like this. And I would never send somebody on the road with a vehicle that is dangerous to drive.

Title: Unsafe Service and Unprofessional Attitude. I went to Kings Tire for a wheel alignment, but the service I received was both unprofessional and potentially unsafe. After the alignment, I noticed my car was pulling to the side when I released the steering wheel, and the tire pressure was set to 37 PSI, even though the recommended pressure for my vehicle is 33.
When I returned to the shop to point this out, the manager dismissed my concerns by saying 37 PSI "won’t make the tire explode" and told me I shouldn’t be letting go of the steering wheel while driving — completely ignoring the fact that a proper wheel alignment should allow the car to track straight. They only readjusted the tire pressure, but even then, it was still left at 35 PSI — not the recommended 33. The alignment issue was not addressed at all. This kind of careless service puts drivers at risk. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who values safety, quality service, and respectful communication.

Summary: There have been many “repairs” done @ Tire Kingdom (A Mavis Company) in Palm Coast to my SUV in 2024 to correct the coolant leak. None of those “repairs” have fixed the problem. However, I was charged for all of those troubleshooting procedures and parts that did not fix the original issue. I have been back to Tire Kingdom at least ten times since the coolant leak troubleshooting started. Mavis\Tire Kingdom has record of all of my 2024 visits where I always selected “Check Front End” and or some variation like “AC/Coolant.” The slow coolant leak that still existed is discussed each time with Dan or Matt @ Tire Kingdom for many months. When the leak started to get worse, I went in to talk to Justin (Manager @ Tire Kingdom). He stated that Water Pump was bad (the one they installed a few months prior) and I will also need a belt for the water pump.
After this repair, I am told the coolant tank is also bad. We then repair that item, I am again charged for this troubleshooting adventure. I go into Tire Kingdom the following day with pictures and video of my garage floor covered in coolant fluid. Justin looks at the SUV and says that I need another part. He shows me where the problem is and explains the process needed to repair that part. (To this point, I am charged over 1k for labor and parts that did not fix my problem.) I ask Justin for a refund for the previous work that did not fix the coolant leak, Justin and Felix (Manager @ Tuffy) give me the name of Regional Manager, Jonathan ** to discuss the refunds. My first call to Regional Manager, Jonathan ** was 12/06/24. Today’s date is March 9th, 2025. I still have not spoken to Regional Manager, Jonathan **.
I have worked with Tyler @ Mavis corporate customer service many time to get many messages to Regional Manager, Jonathan **. I have gone in to see Felix and Justin 5x to get Regional Manager, Jonathan ** to call me. I have left web requests for Regional Manager, Jonathan ** to call me. Lastly, I called Mavis customer service to open an escalation to Jonathan **’s boss. I was told that they will both call me the following day. That was on or about 3/3/25, it is now 3/9/25, still no word.
While I was on the phone with the last CS rep, she mention that Regional Manager, Jonathan ** has entered into the system that he has tried to reach me many times and has ALSO put in his notes that he spoke to me. This is 100% a lie. Jonathan ** is falsifying his internal Mavis documents to say he did tasks that he did not complete. If I was his boss, I would ask for the phone records to show when and how many times he called and/or spoke to me. You will quickly find that Jonathan has a huge integrity problem here.

After incurring a flat tire driving to Tampa, FL from Manlius, NY for a vacation we were looking for a reputable repair shop. The first place we called was a competitor, one we trusted because back home the owner always took care of us. However, we were told the nail in the tire was in a spot that couldn't be repaired, and that we had to purchase another but comparable brand. Furthermore, one lug nut couldn't be removed and cutting it off involved removing the brake. Sounded like we were being taken to the cleaners, especially when the cost with labor was quoted to us - $850 ($400 for the tire). For a tire! So, we called the local car manufacturer's dealership and told him of our woes. He assured us we needed the same brand tire, that the "comparable tire" had incompatible tread. That he had it in stock but the cost to fix everything would be $870.
Finally, we called Tire Kingdom who said they had the tire for $270. The dealership, when I told him Tire Kingdom's tire price, immediately said he would match it and gives us $50 off to cover the down payment we made. We are in our 70s and I began to think we were being played like Okies from Muskogee. No disparagement to Oklahomans, just an allusion to being foreigners. We decided to take the car to Tire Kingdom on E Fowler Ave. and were told the tire could be repaired for $149. It was ready in one hour (this is a Monday). And to boot, they added a valve cap which was missing, a small but noticeable touch of superior service. We couldn't have been happier. 5 stars! P.S. (the lug nut was stripped but came off and they affixed a new one).

First mistake was actually going to Tire Kingdom in Jupiter Fl. Last year we bought two new tires, installed, and balanced. Over a year, we kept going back to have the all tires rebalanced and rotated (the other two tires were fairly new). OVER A YEAR we dealt with a vibration between 65-75mph! Yesterday we took it to a real mechanic shop. The tires had NOT been balanced properly! Not only that, but we also learned the brake pads we had installed, the same time as the new tires, we so cheap that we need new ones! This is all on a secondary car that is driven less than 4,000 miles a year! Never again will my family take a car to any Tire Kingdom.

I have been a loyal customer of Tire Kingdom (now Mavis Tires) for over 6 years now. (see my other reviews for Tire Kingdom) Having worked for the TCB, the parent company. Today, I am no longer a patron of Tire Kingdom. Here's the reason why: Two weeks ago, I took my car to the Tire Kingdom at 2634 SW Edgarce St., Port Saint Lucie, FL., which is 3 miles from my home. My TPMS light was on, and I assumed that I had a nail in one of my tires because I live in a community (Central Park) where they are still building homes. Tire Kingdom said the only thing wrong was the tire pressure, so they corrected it to 32psi. They also recommend that I get new shocks and struts, and a stabilizer bar.
So a week later, I took my car back to the shop for work. Cost $1800. While I was there, I was told I needed a new TPMS sensor...Cost: an additional $69. I drop my car off, took a Lyft home and picked up my car (via another Lyft) at 5:30 PM. With the new shocks and struts, and stabilizer bar installed, my car was riding like it was brand new.
A day later, the TPMS light came on. Also, my car was squeaking with noise from the new struts. So I dropped off my car again. Same: Lyft drop off, Lyft to pick up. Got home, light came on again. Rinse and Repeat. This was Thursday. Same story...Oh, the psi was not correct. Friday, drop it off again. 8:00 PM, pick up at 5 PM. The TPMS light is off, finally. Friday night I'm driving to West Palm Beach, TPMS light flashing on an off. I'm scared because it's raining out and I'm like "OMG, not tonight...not on I95").
Fast forward to today (Saturday) I take my car back to the same location. This time they have a trio of excuses.
1: "It's your spare tire. It needs the sensor. That's what's causing your TPMS light to come on." $200 for a new sensor for the spare tire. Uh..I knew that was a bald-faced lie and I called the tech out on it.
2. "Oh the tire pressure is set to 40 psi" - "What? You are the guys that tested all my tires."
3. "Oh the battery has gone bad on the sensor. We will replace the battery." The TPMS light is still on after the battery was "supposedly" replaced.
4. "Oh there's an antenna somewhere in your car that's not transmitting to our pad." "What in the world? Man, just stop with all the lies."
In the end...the manager refunded me the part for the sensor. He did not offer to replace the one that they put in my tire. So not only am I riding around with the TPMS light on, but my car is still squeaking. They never fixed the issue with that after they installed the new shocks and struts. I now have to find another place to take my car and have the TPMS sensor replaced - again. More time and money. To be honest, it's not so much about the money; it's the time that they wasted, which is more valuable than anything. I'm super busy with work and home life. Finally, I would advise everyone to just be super careful of this location. I think they are telling people to get these TPMS sensors so they can have more sales at that particular location. I will follow up with corporate regarding this issue.
