    I'm giving my call to the Customer Service Dept. a 4-star. The representative Linda was great with responses and knowledge of resetting my system. However, after seeing my NEM bill for the 10th month at $1,600 I called with a concern and found out that there has been an alert on my system since 2022. I was given the information on the monitoring app that I was unaware of. I expect Freedom Forever to monitor my system and provide information and maintenance based on their expertise. Linda walked me through resetting the system and still there was an alert present. I was not aware of the monitoring app, and was told that "If I see an alert and "No Comm" error message for 3 days I should call for support." So, now I have to monitor my system daily? Not acceptable.

    I contacted Customer Service to keep my Solar project moving forward after my energy provider requested further information. My customer service representative stayed on the line until she had passed it forward to the appropriate departments and I appreciated her keeping me on the line with her until she had done that portion of her job.

    Customer service is always so easy. I've only had to use it a couple of times because the solar panels are high quality and were installed well. I'm getting a new roof so I need the panels removed and reinstalled. There is a process for that so I just have to sign the appropriate documents and then call to schedule the removal when when I have a confirmation on the date of the roof install. Easy.

    Trinidad provided outstanding customer service today. She also was empathetic to hear our solar company is out of business and our system has problems.     Please do not go through Freedom Forever. Prior to this nightmare, our bills ranged from $170 in the summer to almost $500 in the winter. Our sales rep told us our bill for solar panels would be about $172/month and that we would NOT have an electric bill at all, due to the numbers he reviewed from our existing bills. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER THAN THE TRUTH.

    First, they made it sound like we were enrolling in a utility program, so when they installed my solar panels before they were financed, I didn't think anything of it. THEN they started harassing us saying we owed them $50,000! I should have had them take them off then, but I was an IDIOT and was persuaded to go through the financing, they reduced the price somewhat because of our hassle, and now our monthly bill for the financing will average well over $350, which would be FINE if we didn't also have electric bills!. While our winter electric bill used to be near $500, I am pleased that the first winter bill is only $237 -- BUT I AM STILL PAYING FOR THE SOLAR PANELS.

    Definitely NOT worth the money, the salesman was either driven by greed or ignorance, but either way our annual expense for power has almost doubled. BUYER BEWARE -- I take responsibility for my own stupidity -- I have learned a valuable life lesson. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY WITH HONEST SALES PEOPLE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

    Dragged-out installation. Electrical issues when they were done. Challenging to get service. But that's not the worst of it... No snow or critter guards were mentioned in a snowy forest, and now, less than a year later, I have damage that they won't acknowledge—insult to injury. You would think that corporate greed would have played a part in them trying to upsell me for snow and critter guards, but they're not even that smart, just incompetent.

    You are the worst company I have ever seen. I started this in May and now it's December 8 2025 your crew has failed Inspection 2 times and I am not hooked to the grid yet. I have made 4 payments for nothing. This is not right. Don't know when if ever getting hooked on the grid. I will lose my tax credit if it goes to next year.

    We have been waiting since September for our Solar to be working. It has been installed. Duke Energy our Electric company has come and inspected it and so has our cities building department. It is all passed inspection. It looks like they have problems with getting the first years insurance plus what other problems I do not know. Freedom said I would have 6 months of no payment for the service. I have 3 months left and I still have to pay a sky high light bill. If I had known all of this I would not have had it installed.

    Mary provided outstanding service. We had a new roof done and took quite a long time to be able to even schedule the reinstall of the solar panels. Mary contacted us every couple weeks to let us know where we stood and that we were not forgotten. Now to get a hold of the actual scheduling department would be the net step. Sadly not easy to do. One announcement said I had 10 people in front of me, next one said I had more than 10. Don't know how that works but I opted for the call back. We'll see if that actually happens.

    They are horrible!!! We just got our Solars in October 04, 2025, we have yet to see that the solars are giving us any savings. Supposedly we are not saving anything. We still are getting a bill from FPL the same amount of what we paid before we even had the solars. FPL keeps blaming the solar company and the solar company keeps blaming FPL. So now we pay FPL and we pay for the solars.

    Worst thing we have ever done, the person that came to talk to us lied to us. He told us one thing and we find out. It’s not true. Told us that the battery would help us with electricity, so you lose electricity. It would stay on for a couple of days. Well, guess what, that was a lie, he lied to us, we pay for something we don’t even want. It took them from January when they put the solar on. We never got it on until July. I wanted it off my house, I called. They never returned any of my calls, Patrick and Luke.

    The communication from Freedom Forever is terrible. It takes several attempts to get anyone to respond to your inquiries, and when you get a response it is extremely vague, never answers the questions and provides 0 clarity. We paid for the project beginning of July 2025 and we are now in December and the system is still not operational. There have been delays ion roof work and tree work because the company has not been paying their sub contractors, so the contractors are refusing to do work for them. My roof was finally completed in October (despite them guaranteeing work starting within 60 days of permit approval). However the tree work has still not been scheduled. The panels and electrical inspection were completed over a month ago and Freedom forever still hasn't submitted the necessary paperwork to the utility company for me to be allowed to operate the panels.

    We are now less than a month away from the tax credits expiring and there is a good chance I won't receive permission to operate my panels before then. This means I will lose out in $14k in tax credits. This was the main reason behind me installing the panels. I've been in project management for close to 20 years. I deal with contractors on a daily basis, and this has been one of the worst contractors I have ever worked with from a communication standpoint. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you are reading this and considering them, do yourself a favor and choose another company.

    I was a little scared to try to contact this company at first because of the reviews I saw online, but when I called in and reached Vicky, I found her to be extremely helpful and helping with the warranty transfer. She answered all of my questions and I left that call satisfied. The only issues I couldn’t understand why they weren’t receiving my personal email. Maybe their servers were filtering it out.

    I’m paying for panels and still have an electric bill. I’ve only received 12% of the promised money from the IRS in all the years I’ve had the panels. It was the worst decision I’ve ever made. I had energy saving windows installed. It would have been better for me to have re-insulated than to have solar installed. Very disappointed.

    Updated on 12/03/2025: This is my second review with one star. FF answered my first review telling me to call customer service. Yes, we did that two weeks before your suggestion. FF has not paid their subcontractor for work they did in August 2025. The subcontractor is putting a lien on our property. I would not do business with FF as they are cheats and now they are gaslighting us.

    Original Review: Freedom Forever installed our solar system in August 2025. Our contract with FF included the replacement of our roof by a subcontractor. We have paid FF in total including the $20,000 for the roof replacement, per our contract. On the 23rd of November a lien was placed on our home by the subcontractor for non-payment. Freedom Forever does not pay their subcontractors. Do not trust or use this company.

    Had a good sales process and very good site visit (thorough, professional, communicative). Documentation from the site visit was extensive with notes, photos, etc. Then the process turned into a train wreck. The initial design for the solar layout was incompatible with the roof layout due to roof vents and was seemingly done without referring to the site visit or sales notes. I specifically wanted a ballasted system and not a penetrating mount system on our flat roof. Upon pointing this out, my project went to 'hold status' for about a month while they reworked the design. It required tons of input from my side and they finally came back with the plan that matched the initial sales proposal and was compatible with my roof. This then was approved by the city/utility.

    Then came installation scheduling. I scheduled an installation by phone for Oct 21 and 22. However a day later I got a call saying that needed to be rescheduled due to an error on their part. The next date offered was Nov 17/18. Then on the morning of the scheduled installation I get a call saying not that they will be there in 5 minutes, but that they had to cancel and reschedule me as the system design was incorrect. I was livid and explained how unacceptable this is. They could not explain why it was incorrect, or who made that determination. They offered to reschedule me to Dec 3-5.

    In the meantime I asked them to explain why the changes, why they were moving more panels onto my second roof that gets shade, and that they guarantee PTO by year end as that was promised to me when I signed the sales order in August. No responses from anyone who knows anything, just guesses. They repeatedly said that the Operations Director will call me, yet after 2 weeks I have had no calls or explanations. One person promised to provide twice weekly updates on my project through to PTO and has yet to meet her own stated promise.

    I've been invited to submit a review after today's Customer service interaction that was necessitated by Freedom Forever not abiding by the terms of our contract. My solar system installation was completed in July (FOUR MONTHS AGO!) yet the contacted tree removal (one single tree which casts shade on my solar panels) has not been removed. I've emailed multiple times only to be told that a ticket has been created or that the request has been escalated, yet no one has contacted me further and the tree remains untouched. I've been in touch with my initial salesperson, Jeff, who had previously assured me that he'd take care of any issues but he's proven to be ineffective.

    The form email responses came from Teetee who has also gotten no results. When I finally phoned today I managed to get through the layers of automation to speak with Mary. We were quickly disconnected. When I called back and was connected with Vicky, I was given a glimmer of hope. Vicky seemed to understand how ridiculous it is that I've waited FOUR MONTHS for the contracted tree removal and she attempted to reach out to Teetee and her team for an update. While Vicky was unable to provide any immediate answers (though four months in can hardly be couched as "immediate") she has promised to call me back with an update on Friday December 5 @ 8AM. The saga continues...

After conducting my own research, I started the process of initiating my contracts. Sebastian has consistently demonstrated exceptional assistance, providing updates after each stage to ensure the project’s progress without any delays.

    My system was installed yesterday, with an initial estimated duration of three days. My team arrived promptly and adopted the moniker “Captain Jack Sparrow Crew.” They were punctual and utilized every available moment to complete the installation one day ahead of schedule. They provided comprehensive information regarding the placement of each component and exhibited respect for my property.

    Following the installation, the installer dedicated additional time to provide me with a thorough tour, explaining the functionality of each component and demonstrating how to operate the Tesla application once my system is approved. Throughout my years of having installers at my residence, this experience stands out as the most satisfactory I have encountered for a project of this magnitude. If this message reaches the administration at Freedom Forever or SolarPros, I would recommend that this crew, along with Mr. **, serve as an exemplary model for the entire company.     Original Review: My project got cancelled because my electric company did not approve. However Freedom already used the finance from the project of about $7000 from Mosaic. Since 4 months I am requesting them to converse with Mosaic and pay off / close the loan and there is no response. Freedom even has a ticket ** opened but no action is being taken. Now I have a $7,000 loan I have to pay and they won’t expedite dealing with this problem. Have no solar panels. Nothing. I am really frustrated.

    Linda from customer service was amazing! I have a leak issue and she was able to get my issue identified in the same call. I am still waiting for a return call from scheduling as they had a long wait list, hopefully they will call soon. Sunrun solar needs to work on their customer service as this problem has been ongoing since 11/17 and has yet to be rectified.

    I have nothing but good to say about Freedom Forever. Everything has been going quite smoothly, with the exception of the DocuSign document. I was having major difficulty trying to electronically sign a document. I called for help and I got to speak with Vicky, she was fabulous. She’s very very patient, kind, and she didn’t make me feel like an idiot. With Vicky‘s help, I was able to get the documents. We need more Vicky’s in this world. After helping me, if I were her boss she would get a GREAT BIG bonus! Thank you again Vicky!

    I have a roof leak where the screws were used to hold down the solar, so I haven't experienced the customer service install side yet.     I’ve had the system for close to eight years and it’s not worked right in several years and despite getting all these promises of guaranteed production, the company seems to never want to reimburse me cover any of my losses or the multiple months that I had no solar power production and having over $200 a month electric bills on top of spending 100 grand for 72 pounds, this is not what I expected solar would be like.

    We have run into a small problem with transferring our solar to our name due to a misunderstanding on my part when we bought this house. Joslyn at Freedom Forever has gone out of her way to try and get this issue expedited so we can get some work done on our roof to stay in compliance with our HOA. This us the 2nd house we have had solar on through Freedom Forever and we have been very happy with them. I would strongly recommend them if you’re looking into solar.

    Quick confirmation on production status. I had just received my PTO and followed the instructions that were sent to me for making sure the system was on. One of the lights was blinking when the instructions said it should be solid. Called in and got confirmation that my main electrical provider was still in the validation phase before fully turning me on, so no issues I just need to wait.

    I gave a five start review for the customer service representative Morgan. She was fantastic, help me navigate a situation where I was not satisfied with nearly everything that the sales rep who unfortunately is a subcontractor promised and did not deliver. She was able to give me suggestions to maximize my current system's production. That being said she had very little She could do about this predatory sales rep. It's unfortunate because the salesman was representing Freedom Forever.

    Updated on 03/26/2026: Solar system installed May 13, 2025. All went well until I asked where the battery was. Not on work order due to a "glitch" in the system according to my sales guy. Battery on back order and as of this date no battery and system not turned on. Many calls and no action from Freedom Forever. Hard to give them even a 1 star.

    Original Review: Vickie was a very thoughtful and helpful agent. She was the only one who made the effort to review our frustrating experience and make an effort to help resolve our situation. Hopefully, we’ll see resolution.

    I am so disappointed with Freedom Forever. They are the worst company I've ever dealt with. My system hasn't worked ever since installed over 5 months ago, and they still haven't come out to fix it. I've had much higher electric bills ever since they installed my solar panels that were supposed to do away with my electric bills than I've ever had without their system. Customer service just keeps doing nothing to resolve my issues! They are the worst company, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

    My problem hasn't yet been resolved - something I'm less than pleased about, but the rep (Teetee, I believe?) that took my call was very professional and had someone out the very next day to begin investigation. Jesus, the gentleman who came out to take a look, was also very professional. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from anyone since then. Teetee warned me that it might be a couple of weeks, so I'll remain patient for now. I'll update this review when the issue (power to my pool pump was cut when solar was installed). Also, I'm giving them a 3-star rating despite the glaring error because the service personnel I've worked with thus far have been very professional. Once my issue is resolved, I'll bump the score.

    Updated on 11/13/2025: Freedom reached out and asked me to email them about this issue so I did. It has been over a week, and I have not gotten a reply, even just to acknowledge receipt of my email.

    Original Review: I called last year about the production guarantee since I was under the recommended amount. The man I spoke to said it was too soon and to call back in a few months. I just called back today and spoke to a customer service rep named Mary who was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I want to be clear that this review is NOT about her and does not reflect negatively on her. She did, however, tell me that I am now outside the window to request the reimbursement and should have called earlier (when I last called.) I would have qualified for compensation had the last customer service rep been competent, but he was not, therefore I sit here, lied to and uncompensated due to customer service negligence. Train your staff better to give more detailed instructions. If there is a time limit on something, explicitly state that. This is ridiculous.

    Even though she was unable to help me with my question, she was able to put the information into a ticket to have it taken care of. She was very polite and professional. It is a little frustrating though that you can’t speak to the department you need directly. You have to create tickets and they have to contact you back. This can take 24 to 38 hours.

    Freedom Forever has proven to be one of the most disappointing companies I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service department is absolutely worthless — they operate from a tired, canned handbook designed to avoid taking responsibility for anything. They cut corners on both service and parts, and their follow-through is non-existent. This is now the second inverter I’ve had to replace since my system was installed in May 2021, and the system still does not function properly. Freedom Forever claims to “monitor” customer systems, but that’s simply not true. Not once have they ever reached out to me first when there’s an issue. Every time, I’m the one who has to call them — and their infamous “72-hour window” is nothing more than an excuse to delay action.

    My system has been down since October 12, 2025. As a math teacher, I can confirm that far more than 72 hours have passed. Yet today, after I called them (again), I was told it would be another 14 days before they would even look at the system — not repair it, just look at it. This company is an absolute disappointment. Freedom Forever should be ashamed of how poorly they treat their customers. If I had the option, I would take legal action against them for their complete lack of accountability and failure to deliver what they promised.

    Freedom originally installed the incorrect system, very difficult to reach and dismissive of our concerns, refused to repair or replace inverter box that has burn/char marks in it, and solar has been exponentially more expensive with them than it electricity was before without them.

    I am giving Freedom Forever a five star review with some hesitation. Let me explain. Initial contact people were professional and fairly knowledgeable. Salespeople were also professional. My first encounter with an issue was when my project was denied. The explanation was in an email and not very detailed. The second issue was that a hole was made in the wall for access to the roof and left without any indication that it would be fixed. I reached out by phone, email and messaging several times in the next couple of weeks, and finally heard from customer service with Josue. That is when things started to turn around for me. More details were sent concerning the disqualification of my project. A repairman, Chris, started the repair on the wall. Unfortunately, he was sick and unable to return the next day to finish the repair. A week later, however, he did return and finished the repair to my expectations!

    In retrospect I would say communication is slow, but when there is finally a connection, the company seems to be diligent in finding ways to resolve issues. I was encouraged as it become evident that Josue was listening to my problems concerning the company, even though I would not qualify for their services. A couple of months ago I did not think this company was working in my best interest. Now I would be happy to share my experience with my friends - and actually have.

    We had a very good conversation about my roof issues. This has been a problem for 2 years. I did hire roofers twice but the seal of the panel mounts did not last. The mounting hardware split the purlins under the shingles. The problem has not been resolved but it's in the works.

    I have had nothing but trouble. I make phone calls and each and every time I have been told either the person Im talking with will call me back or they would have someone in management call me. I have yet to get one single return call. When my project was installed one of the installers accidentally picked up my Milwaukee 1/2" hammer drill with a 9.0 amp battery a 5/16" brad point drill bit and a drill stop. This has a combined value of $380.00 plus I have not been able to ise my drill since. This was taken in the 1st part of September and I still can't get reimbursed for my drill and accessories.

    I sent my sales representative a quote on the replacement on September 12, 2025. He said he turned in a ticket to get it replaced however according to the people I have talked with at Freedom he never turned in a ticket. Since then I have made at least 5 or 6 calls regarding this yet I can't get anyone to do anything about it. I am beginning to think I have made a mistake going through Freedom. I have another home that you're supposed to install solar on however I am seriously considering canceling as you have only showed me confusion and the worst customer support I've ever seen. My number is **. I would like someone from customer support to call me but I'm not going to hold my breath. History seems to repeat itself.

    All the employees that I have spoken with are wonderful! I do not like how the solar power system works!! My solar panels are always going out. They do not work properly! I think that I am using my solar power but it reverts back to my electric company!

    I chose Freedom Forever with the expectation of long-term energy savings and professional service. Unfortunately, I’ve seen little financial benefit from the solar panels installed, and when I raised concerns, the response was deeply disappointing. A customer service person from Freedom Forever contacted me to follow-up on my solar panel performance, and I mentioned that I wasn't seeing significant savings. The customer service person said that they will send a technician to inspect the solar system in my house. The technician who came out was courteous and professional. However, he directed me to speak with one of their specialists online to address my concerns. That’s where things went downhill.

    Instead of showing any interest in my concerns, the specialist tried to sell me additional panels. I made it clear I wasn’t interested in expanding my system, then he became rude, condescending, and ultimately hung up on me. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially when I’m trying to resolve a legitimate issue. I expected transparency and support—not a hard sell and disrespect. I’m sharing this review to warn others and to request that Freedom Forever take accountability for both the performance of my system and the behavior of their representatives.

    This one of the worst companies ever! It is better NOT to go solar if there is no alternative to this horrible company. They did solar for me in 2021 December. The system stop working since June 2025. Barely 3 years. I am paying the loan and paying the high cost of electricity bill. No one to talk to. I got someone on the line in September who said the inverter is bad, It is under warranty but they still has not done anything about it. No one called or even send an email. They are scamming people. I am sure they are busy looking for next victims. So, you see they sold bad product to me, took the money and I am left paying double bills. Don't let this happen to you. I will have to look for probably legal means of getting them to do something.

    Project is still ongoing, 14 months so far since contract was signed. Installation has been held up multiple times by poor communication between the vendor and the utility. I had to initiate contact directly with the utility and remedy issues on my own for the project to start installation. The vendor did nothing on their own. I would not recommend this company for a solar installation.

    Predatory tactics and months long stalls to resolve issues. Customer service reps seem sincerely helpful but bottom line is no resolution. Sold system to my 82 year old mother with evident cognitive issues and she was in the process of being moved. System did not work for several months after installation and it is agonizing trying to get reimbursed for their “guaranteed” power production. Their timeline keeps changing and is currently “backlogged” with no ETA.

    Anaya deserves 5 stars. She was helpful and calmly and comprehensively answered my questions. I commend her for excellent customer service and professionalism. She has been the best thing about my experience with Freedom Forever. This company supposedly scheduled a Site Survey but no one showed up for the appointment. When I called to inquiry, a different 'service rep' said there was no Site Survey scheduled but 'that they sometimes fall off'. That made no sense to me be we rescheduled the Site Survey.

    In advance of that appointment, I checked the Freedom Forever customer portal and under Appointments there's nothing scheduled. So, I again called Freedom Forever and got 'Ria', a robot who claimed to be human, who said 'she' couldn't find evidence of a Site Survey scheduled for me. And then I asked her to transfer me to a human... and finally - after 'Ria' kept insisting she was human - I got transferred to Anaya. Thank goodness!

    Ever since the Freedom Forever sales team led by Danny Correa here in Orange County, CA got in touch with me, he walked me through the whole process, and was transparent on what and when they were doing on the project. I got immediate access to the portal and he went through the panel design, layout and battery choice. Once this was decided, the survey happened within the week. Danny is a great sales manager and I appreciated his willingness to help.

    I was ready for installation which was done with great precision. The install team of 5 from Fresno, drove in early on 10/07 and knocked it off in a day. The team was sharp and knew what they were doing. Moses, Jose, Enrique, Marco and Isaac were phenomenal. I hope Freedom Forever recognizes their effort and rewards them for their professionalism.

    When we initially had the conversation with your sales rep, he explained that the install would only take a few hours. Yesterday was the 3rd of 4th time your team was at my house, and they still have to come back to fix some of the damage made to my attic entrance. Even though they have known about it since the first visit. It seemed like every time they came to the house they didn’t have all the parts needed in order to do the install. Your team seemed very unprepared for doing the full install and have taken time from my work for myself every time they have to come do something.

    I even asked that they fix the damages while scheduling every follow up visit yet the contractor was never part of the team. Not sure if this is normal and we were just misinformed at the start but what we signed up for is not what happened.     My solar panels stopped producing power about a month and a half ago. We were never notified about this. How we discovered the issue was through our $400+ power bill on top of the cost of our panels. We checked our Enphase box and it was completely shut off. We contacted SunRun and they said the earliest they could get someone to our home would be October 15th. We then contacted Freedom Forever and were told that SunRun had to put in an order first. By the time someone comes to our home it will be a little over 2 months with our panels not producing power. What is the point of having solar panels if they don't work and no one seems to be concerned with how to fix the problem?

    Let's start with the positive, Julian the electrician and team leader did a great job installing the solar panels, gateway, 2 breaker/disconnect boxes and piping very neatly. The crew clean up after working inside, outside, and commission the solar system today, according to Julian everything is working but, I need to wait on town inspection and Unitil electric to change the meter. Freedom Forever swapped out my solar panels for lower wattage and less efficient ones, and made up overall wattage by increasing panel count, I don't like that!

    Overall, the business, I guess being operated in Texas from California, seems a touch disorganized. Customers need to know all the info upfront; a good presentation of the stats of the system and the actual conversion stats would help. I had no idea I was being so poorly compensated by the local energy company, although this remained an open question for a while. They had not even informed me that the previous company had no "discount plan." I had to find out myself 5 months later. I did finally switch to a company later that had a "discount plan", albeit not a very good one. I guess I did not understand the choreography of this in Texas, a place where the sun shines hard and many, many months sport triple digit temperatures.

    In addition, making the customers aware of the app being online would help too at that time. I guess some prefer to use their phones, this is not true for everyone. Actually your app is a plus for the business and is a great positive since it is so easy to use. I was guided by Rosie after hours for this, and for that I am grateful. She was very clear and directive. I had previously been contacted by some others, and was not quite clear what was needed. Of course, the previous business had not been clear about what was going since their seemed to be a everchanging list of companies involved: contractors, installers, apps, some of which changed midstream.

    Please forgive my wire-brushing you a little, I have become quite critical in recent days due to amount of phishing, spam, people asking for money, or trying to sell me a product or service I neither desire nor have requested. So far, my wife, Nancy ** and I, Josh **, (we have kept our last names, even though we are married) have stuck with the program. Under the current circumstances I plan to stay in touch and on point.

    Freedom Forever provided a residential solar panel installation at my home in Seattle, WA in the Spring of 2025. The installation went smoothly and the system is performing well. The reason for the low rating is their business practices. To prep for the installation Freedom bundled a new roof into the project which was financed through their preferred lender, Mosaic. Freedom sub-contracted the new roof to a local roofing contractor and they were responsible to pay the roofing company. I recently found out Freedom has not paid the roofing company and it is holding up my warranty being initiated. The lack of payment appears to be due to Mosaic declaring bankruptcy (even though I paid off the loan). Freedom's customer service to resolve this issue is non-existent.

    So far not so good. We have only had the system on our home for maybe 8 months. It was only working for the first 2 and has been non operational since. We have had techs out twice which has been a very difficult to make happen since the beginning. After the last repair the issue returned within hours after the tech left. I was able to beg them to return as quick as possible which was 2 WEEKS! The tech returned and found it was another warranty repair due to the previous repair and would try to get back to complete the same day. This did not happen and I waited 2 days to hear from scheduling. No contact was made and I have now been on hold to beg for their prompt return as this fiasco has cost us thousands at this point to the power company on top of what fees we are obligated to pay the installers loan. Poor poor customer service. Heed my warning - DON'T DO IT!!

    Sketchy sales, pushy tactics, then threats against my property and a lien against my house if I didn't comply with a hourly rate change with ComEd. And even after all this, the system still doesn't work. It was supposed to be finished by now, but because it was set up wrong, I have to pay ComEd high demand hourly rates which are over 3 times what I started with. This entire thing is a disaster.     I've written multiple emails after 4 months of solar panels installed, but no operation. They keep sending me some insurance document without explaining what is being covered or if the policy is for me to pay or the company and they don't reply to emails with the specifics. Seems like an umbrella company to collect more money per month.

    I called Freedom today and I had several issues. But luckily, Maria came on the phone and was able to clarify everything. She was quite patient and very professional. And she was able to break down the system to the letter t. I recommend this to anyone.     I’ve received no meaningful support from this company. They say they are there when they aren’t, there is always another number to call, and no one resolves any problems, just passes you off. They said they couldn’t inspect our system because the tech wasn’t available. Then no one showed up and said our system was inspected. The installer said our inverters were inop, but no one ever came out to fix them despite our repeated requests. They then said our system is producing power, but I can’t see it in any way. Said it’ll be 7-14 days before they resolve that issue, but my system is in an alarm state and not producing any power. They won’t, however, deal with that until I call them back next week because it hasn’t been broken for at least 10% of a month yet (3 days). Worst company I have ever worked with.

    Problem with paperwork for job completion and lien release. They found it and sent me a copy. I was able to forward the information to the company that needed it to complete my loan application. Problem solved.

    First year and a half with solar, everything was wonderful. After that, system battery went out, cost went UP. UP, UP!! And service disappeared. Now, Instead of paying just an electric bill or just paying solar with a small electric bill, we now pay electric bill of $200+ and a solar equipment bill of $200 a month. So, reality sucks... solar doesn't work! At least from Freedom Forever it does not work. Oh. And there is no out from this! We're just stuck!

    I spoke with AI which couldn't help. I waited 15 minutes to deal with customer support, who needed all the info again, then was transferred to the "production team" which scheduled an automated long distance check of the solar system to try and fix it and said that they would scheduled a technician if it was needed then ended call. I received a text saying that a technician was needed and that I needed to call their scheduling service, instead of just scheduling something. 15 minutes on hold later, and I am told that they need to wait for technicians to be available in my area to schedule something and that they would reach out. I asked when I should check back if I didn't hear something and was told to wait a week, and was given no turnaround time. Use someone else for your install who is actually local and doesn't make empty promises.

    This is our first time having solar, and I was a little confused by the three different companies who were involved. I called Freedom and spoke to Linda, and she was fantastic. She explained everything and told me who I need to call depending on what's happening.

    Did not complete job in a timely manner so I canceled the project. It was already financed and they did not communicate that to the financier. Now I have a $46,000 loan I have to pay on and they won’t expedite dealing with this problem. Have no solar panels. Nothing.
