I turned in my request for enrollment back in November last year and we already signed a document. Later on, I waited and when I emailed my representative, he told me that the contractor went bankrupt so Dividend Solar had to look for another one. Early this year when we were about to sign the documents, I noticed that there were some changes in the amount that I'm going to pay. There were also changes on the installation. Instead of installing the micro-inverters, they decided to install the single inverter. I talked to the new contractor and he said that the single inverter was cheaper. In case something like this happens again, Dividend Solar has to stick to the price and the materials they're going to be using because people who don't understand the technicality on the installation will overlook.

Electric is going up and I know that going solar is the way to the future. In the long run, I believe that it’d save me money. And so, I did some research, looking at parts in a solar. I had another solar company but I didn’t like their process. So I started researching and found Dividend Solar. They made the overall experience very easy. They appeared to have a very good plan and were very customer-friendly.

So far, I'm happy with my decision to have Dividend Solar which was referred to me by the company that I got my solar panels from. My primary reason to switch to solar energy is because it's gotten affordable. I did research before I made the decision and I'm excited about it right now. I supposedly can save more in the long-term, but we'll see. Enrolling with Dividend Solar was extremely seamless. I've talked to their customer service twice so far and they've been very responsive and professional. I get the feeling that they won't end the call until they feel that they've answered my question to my satisfaction. That's a big plus.

Due to the rising cost of electricity, we decided to go with solar services. Dividend Solar has a good customer service and their enrollment process is easy. I had a couple of forms filled up and I could do most of the stuff online. Our service has been turned on for about two weeks now and so far, I'm happy. It took a while to get the net meters set, but from my understanding, it was the Nevada Power process. The only problem we had was when the system was originally set up, it was set up with 18 panels only. Since I didn't require a jump up on my circuit breaker, we agreed to put 20 panels instead of the previous 18. There was a mess up where they forgot that they had to redo the paperwork, but everything was taken care of. The system is up and working.

Getting solar energy looked liked a good investment. My installation (50 panels) was about $43,000 and there was a 30% tax credit off the federal tax bill and 25% off the South Carolina tax bill. That brings my actual cost down about $19,000. And now, the electricity I will produce looks like it will be $400 worth of electricity a month. It's producing on the average, right now, 90 kilowatt-hours per day and that's what they told me it would produce with Alder Energy which pays my electric and gas bill. I also got a credit from SCE&G. I went on the grid on March 15th, but after just 15 days when the March bill came in, I made enough electricity to cover my entire March electric and gas bill with $2 extra. So from now on, I expect my credit will be at least a $100 to $200 a month above my electric and gas bill. So the return on the investment is better than any stocks, or bonds, or money accounts.

I wanted to save money on our electric bill and so far, I've been very satisfied with Dividend Solar. My husband did most of the enrolling, but from what I experienced, it was very easy. Their people were super nice, very friendly and professional and knew what they were talking about.

I have the portal set up with Dividend Solar. So far, it seems good. I'm generating 667 kilowatts since March 8th when I turned it on. Austin Energy had a mix-up on it. My first bill came back as a shock. It said I owed them $7,500 and I used 50,000 kilowatts in two weeks, which is impossible. So I called Austin Energy and two days later, they fixed the problem. My bill for the solar portion was only $0.19, so I paid that. My electric bill came back for April and as of right now, I have a credit of about 32 bucks, which is cool.

My experience with Dividend Solar was not too great. The job wasn't done right. The exterior wall has a shadow box built into it so I have volts coming through furniture. They came here a month ago and took pictures of it. We waited an extra three months and I’m still waiting for the job to be done the correct way. According to the paperwork, my first loan payment was supposed to be on March 17th and I didn’t hear from them at all. So I would have preferred to have heard from them even if it was to say, “We’re not going to take the first payment until April” to have some sort of communication.

Dividend Solar have some mistakes that they have to fix. For example, the amount on the contract that I originally signed is different from the amount that is on the website. By this time, they have not fixed it. The service is okay, and I'm happy that I decided to go solar. But the enrollment process was a little bit complicated because it took eight months since the first time that I signed the contract to have my system working. It’s too much for a process that has to be very easy. They only call me every two months to update the information that they were working on the process and with the energy company.

I've seen other people had solar panels, and my electric bills were getting too crazy so I thought of checking solar. First we tried one solar company and they didn't want to work with us. When we called Trinity, they said they'll come out and the gentleman, Bill, came down from Schenectady and gave us a good deal. We're happy with all the guys that installed everything. They were very professional, answered all our questions and showed us all the stuff. The salesman was knowledgeable, too. So that helped out all the way around. But one of the gentlemen left his drill in my basement.

That’s the only part that they didn’t explain to me good enough. There was the tax thing, which is the amount that I get back from the government. They painted a picture that I was going to get all the money back. They said I'm going to get $9000 back, and I only got half of it this year and the other half next year.

Alder Energy and Sun Solar can't do it. I've been with Dividend Solar for a month now. There have been no issues so far. The enrollment was excellent, the service was good, and the installation was fast. They kept me up-to-date on the progress or what’s going on. It was an easy process. I had to problems with their CSR too. I’ve been recommending Dividend Solar and already gave a bunch of referrals out. I wish they had put a sign on my lawn, though. That way I could advertise them ‘cause people are asking me where I got it from. I saw the manager and asked him for it.

The loan process with Dividend Solar was good, but it took a bit longer than I thought it would because of the distance. They aren't local, and it's not like I can sit in the office and do the purchase. It was all through internet, mail, text, and fax. Then once the loan went through, the process of getting the solar installed still took a couple of months. I'm about to see my first month of activity with them, and I was hoping to have more contact with Dividend because I didn't want to fall behind on my first payment just because I haven't had contact with them.

Since the National Grid keeps raising their prices and they’ve been steadily increasing by 20 to 30 percent almost every year, I decided to look into solar energy. I was looking online for solar companies and got a call from a couple of places. I went for Trinity and Dividend Solar is their finance company. My enrollment went smoothly and it wasn’t a long process, but getting the solar panels on was a lengthy one, with going through the town and getting approved to allow me to do it and then National Grid said that I can. But Dividend took care of all that stuff so I just sat back and waited for them to tell me that I was all set. It was good and so far, I’m happy, but I got to get the bill in and see what we are actually getting.

I like that I can monitor my solar output online, and it's nice that it's broken down by how many trees you've saved. I like the automatic draft payment as well. It's been a wonderful experience, and I have no complaints. If anybody's going to go solar, it'll be the way to go.

The incentives and the rebate gave me the most reason for choosing Dividend Solar. I had a frustrating experience in getting a copy of my tax incentive. I kept asking for a faxed copy and all they did is send me an email, and my computer’s down. I’ve already asked two representatives and they said that it’s not possible. The enrollment process was frustrating because it wasn’t being done. They told me it was going to be a long process but it took like four months to actually get started. The system was installed in December so it would apply to my 2015 taxes. But TPS didn’t put in the meter until two days ago. So we haven’t even gotten our first bill. Customer service has been excellent and real prompt on calling me, like when they were going to come out and put the meter. If any kind of action was to be taken, they would contact me.

I got really tired of paying very high electric bills so I turned to Dividend Solar. I haven't received my first bill yet but so far, I'm happy. Their enrollment process was easy and the few interactions I had with their customer service have been good. My only issue is with their percentage rate. It seems that they give 7% to everybody which is high. I've got an 815 credit rating and I got a 7.49%. Another lady that I know that was looking into solar got quoted a 7.49% too so I assume everybody gets 7.49%. Nevertheless, it was a painless experience.

Dividend Solar and other companies came around the neighborhood, but Dividend Solar impressed me more than the others. Their reps didn't push me and just explained everything. No pressure when I told them I'll talk to my husband and that we'll think about it, while all the other companies wanted me to do it right that minute. We also had one company that wanted to rip our roof and we'd get low solar bills but they get all the other benefits.

There were several other houses that I’ve seen Dividend Solar start to go up on in our housing development and we wanted to do our part to go green and lower our utility bill. I enrolled with Dividend and it was a good experience. The staff who sat down with me was extremely knowledgeable and made me decide to go solar. Everybody at Dividend was really helpful. They understood what was supposed to happen although it was a little hit or miss here and there. I imagined that would always be the case when dealing with local utility companies though. I talked to the same girl for three different times that I called so I felt I could call and talk to the same person every time. It didn’t feel like I was dealing with a big corporation where I was just a number and that was good.

I’m happy and satisfied about going solar. The rebates definitely help, and it’s a greener, better solution in the long run. The enrolment process was fairly easy. I had a great sales rep, and the installation team did a good job. Everything from the online documentation, paperwork and signing, and the rest, was very easy. I wouldn’t have any problem recommending Dividend Solar to a friend.

I first heard about Dividend Solar from their Door-to-door marketer and I'm very satisfied with my decision of going solar. The representative that I worked with took care of almost all of It. The only frustration that I have was that it took them so long to obtain the permits and I understand that it's not Dividend's fault. And then Im trying to figure out a way to set up payments so that I can start paying on it, and I have not heard back from Dividend and the online tools are not working.

Dividend didn't have enough staff. They couldn't call me in and the person that I was dealing with was remote - she's there and everywhere. They need more staff and a dedicated person. They only relied on e-mail a lot and there wasn't a lot of people that could call. Also, I’m not seeing a bunch of benefit out of going solar because there are better stuff. But it’s a good thing overall because I’m gonna be generating more power than I use and my bill is the same. I would recommend them for what they give for the price that they charge. That is something that they have among other solar company. I ended up getting the extra pay and all. There were some stuff that I wasn't pleased with but the overall compensation is that I end up getting and the amount of work that they give, I was very happy with that. The only thing is that they need to explain better the situation about the rebate.

It was a very easy process enrolling with Dividend Solar and they were very helpful when we needed them. So far, we are happy with our decision to go solar and we’ll be happier in the summer time, I think.

So I got hooked up with Renovus that way and decided to get a system myself through Dividend. So far, I'm totally satisfied going solar with them.

The experience I had with the Solar Energy Companies was one that was for the most part a positive one with just a few drawbacks. First always do your homework on the company you choose as the original company I went with was basically a scam. Read reviews, to checks with the BBB, and try to speak to real individuals who have used the company. Second, expect a little bit of disorganization during the installation. It does not last long so I recommend waiting until the finally of the install.

We picked this company because of their low rates "average billing plan" (they call it levelized billing). This is the plan that is supposed to help you budget by averaging your month's usages together. We were very pleased the entire year until it came to the end of our year contract. We just received an e-mail from them saying that we owe $450 because our "levelized" bill was underpaid!!! We paid our bill every month and were NEVER notified that it was being underpaid!

Enrolling with Dividend Solar was fairly simple. Elevation Solar (the company that we got our solar panels from) did everything and helped me through it. The one thing I was dissatisfied with was the interest rate because I think it's extremely high. For the current environment that we’re in right now with interest rates, 6.5% or whatever ended up being, it’s about 2 or 3% too high. I was not happy with that part of it.

I'm one of the reps for Blue Raven Solar but I've put Dividend on my own home. They're the most amazing company I've ever worked with. They answer the phone all the time. In six months I've worked with them, somebody didn't answer the phone and I had to call back but whoever answers the phone takes care of my problems. They don't fuss me off to somebody else. I've never had a company do that. They're the best in the world. Everything about the experience, not only working with them, but also as a customer, they've done absolutely fabulous.

No one took the time to sit down and show me how to read the meter on the house. I also just got a bill I didn’t agree on since it seems that I got a third party that no one told me about.
