Very satisfied. Prompt delivery of medications. Friendly professional workers. Receive 90 day supply instead of 30 days. Appreciate the reminder calls for time to refill.

CVS are always so polite no matter which store I visit. After just a couple visits they remembered my name etc. I wish they opened earlier but I have learned to work around it. :-) Love CVS.

Most of my meds are ordered through CVS mail order department. They keep me informed via email, remind when it's time to reorder, will contact your doctor if a refill order is needed. They answer questions, let you know if anything is incompatible with what you take, and even contacted me when some of my meds contained lactose. Super fast delivery too, and I appreciate that they are located in my city, know how to spell my name, and can spell my street name (Hawaiian) with ease...

The wait time at peak hours is unconscionable. The main problem is that their inventory/picking process is ludicrous. Most times they have problems just knowing where to look.

I live in Westport, MA. The CVS on state rd in Westport. It used to be a very nice pharmacy. Now the young girls they have working there are extremely rude!! Do not be a pharmacist if you have a problem with the meds that people are on!! I am on **. I am not ashamed of it. It has saved my life!! But this one girl acts like I got cooties or something. To the point of not even handing me my change she'll put it in my med bag?? If I go through drive thru she won't open the window to me. Does not say 'hello' or 'please' or 'thank you'. And I love how she will ask for my ID. It's "I need your ID". Very cocky. And when it's finally all done. I'll say "Thank you and have a good day". She says absolutely NOTHING!!! Where the heck is customer service??? Where is the respect??? Just very disgusted.

The location of the pharmacy Buford Hwy. and South Lee Street, Buford, GA. Finding out that no matter where you go, your pharmacies have extremely poor services. You as a corporation should think about only having online services. You building services will cause my husband to have a diabetic coma, onset seizures. My grandsons bipolar medications (2 sons); NEVER NEVER NEVER have any of them in stock. Even if I attempt to call about 2-3 days in advance, they never have it in. I'm told they only order once a week.
I know for a fact the only way your doors remain open. You have the cheapest prices and major companies penalize their employees and their retire employees if we go to another pharmacy company (prices are higher because of better services). Now this is a kicker... they leave a text saying your prescription is ready. You go there and it's not ready or they don't have it in stock. Then about a day later, they will call and say your prescription has been ready for 2 days. I am adding my name and city which tells you I truly do not care if the pharmacy does know who I am. I deserve better service.

There are so many complaints. Why can't a class action be brought. I had my prescriptions held, my insurance billed, prescriptions billed, I wasn't given script. Insurance Fraud, Crossing Privacy, Refusing Service, Lying to Walmart when transferring scripts, "stating I had nothing, in regards to prescriptions", in which I did and my oldest son, we had both refills, and new ones on file.
Filling a prescription that needed a PA from a MD from MAYO, they dragged their feet. Not being an active participant in helping in with process, I finally gave up, and I after I transferred to Walmart, I noticed rx were missing. Even though I tried transferring myself on Walmart app, did not go through. I logged in to CVS app, my right knee has stage 3 chondromalacia, and it was in pain in Aug, and Sept, new injury, and I was awaiting that cream, and it was expensive. I gave up. However when I logged in, it showed it was filled two times, and billed to me, and a new rx on file, but I was never told, and the dates that were billed, I was in the pharmacy at those times.
My husband lost his job Dec 16, 2016, very unexpected. We met fam out of pocket early in year bc of my claims, I paid $0 starting early in year for prescriptions because of high claims. They shut our rx benefit off same day he was fired. Our rx benefit is included in the medical benefit, as far as the premium, and he had paid that, and as a retired RN, your insurance last the end of the month, regardless they day you are fired, quit, etc. I confirmed that with BCBS IL, and Express Scripts, our rx insurance, I have a message in dm. They said they could not do anything until Corporate HR manager changed the dates. On bcbs il website, it showed, Med Benefit effect 12/31/17, RX benefit effect 12/16/17, Dental Benefit effect 12/31/17, as I was speaking to HR manager she backdated and hung up on me.
Then we get an email. Basically saying that he would provide him insurance last two weeks and pay him last two weeks if he signed a bs keep mouth shut agreement. After I twitter bombed ceo. My husband never written up, we have moved twice now, he was considered to be the next in corp. and with each move, my health has deteriorated. Horrible health care. And the past 3 years has been miserable for me, and his bosses knew about it. Another person was terminated, and his wife is chronically ill. I truly think I was why he was fired. Back to cvs, I do not deserve to be treated like this. Staff turn around. I know why the change. And its because they just started mid 2016 reporting to the narcotic databases for controlled substances, its 2016. They do not know the laws at all. But I have evidence of them charging a schedule to to my insurance, and showing I received it, but I did not. Bull crap. How do they get away with this stuff.

My doctor called in a prescription last Tuesday and I went in on Friday to pick it up. It wasn't there because it was "not in stock" in any CVS in town. I was told that the next delivery to their store would be on Monday. When I went in on Monday the prescription could not be found. Finally the pharmacist found the order showing that the drug was ordered on Friday. However it could not be found and she shouted out, "Does anyone know whose handwriting this is?" OMG. They finally ascertained that it was never ordered and they couldn't find any of the drug in any of their stores. I called my doctor to have her call it in to Walgreens and they filled it within one hour. Don't trust these people with your medical needs. They are a disaster and they don't care to fix their system.

I can not believe that the Pharmacist was rude, disrespectful, and outright completely unprofessional as she was. My wife called checking on her prescription that was overdue by a week. When she called the Pharmacist told her that the store was waiting on approval for one of the prescriptions from her doctor. She informed the Pharmacist that her doctor faxed it over a week ago (she confirmed that it was faxed before calling). The Pharmacist in a raised voice again said they have not received it. My wife asked her to check again as her doctor's office confirmed that it was faxed and has a receipt of such with a date and time.
The Pharmacist in a very loud and demeaning voice told her that we were very busy around here and don't have time for that. My wife asserted that she was busy as well and need the prescription and did not have time for all the runaround that CVS Pharmacist was doing. The Pharmacist then saying nothing just hung up on her! This stores Pharmacist has none of the values and follows none of their Code of Conduct and should be fired for the rudeness, disrespectful, and outright completely unprofessional as she was. Very Angry Customer.

I dropped off a prescription at a CVS Pharmacy. I stopped at a different CVS tonight to pick up my prescription but the pharmacist there told me I couldn't get it since it was filled at a different CVS. I told him I thought all CVS is what I did with it one another. Then he gave me the excuse that he would have to call over there get a transfer to him and apotek well over 1 hour. I said "You're kidding me right?" But the way he approached me was confrontational and with an aggressive tone it was voice. They told me if I wanted to fill that immediately I need to drive to the CVS to get it. I told him I can't believe that. I challenged him, he said he's got no time for me and I said "What's your name?" He pointed the picture on the wall "so there you go that's me."
Anyway I had enough of this attitude so I left without my prescription. I would have never gone to a CVS if my Kmart Pharmacy didn't close on me. They were very polite very professional but the CVS guy here was a big disappointment! That was my first experience with a CVS pharmacist and sadly my last because I'm going to transfer now to a Walgreens which has a much better reputation I hear! So again word of warning. If you ever traveling through Michigan City Indiana avoid the CVS Pharmacy on Franklin Street and especially pay attention if a pharmacist named Hugh ** is working the counter! Maybe its credentials were Creole and he earned his pharmacist credentials from a Cracker Jack box?

My husband bought me ** Decongestant at the Pharmacy today and when he got into the car I discovered he bought the wrong kind. I needed only the regular **. So I took it back and got the regular kind to exchange for the wrong one. They told me they could not exchange because it was a Federal law it could not be exchanged. I ask them to show me where it was a law and they were too busy to look it up. I was distraught so I threw it on the counter and explained I was over 65 and I could not take the ** Decongestant and was told sorry we can't even take it back because it was a Fed Law to take it back. However they could not show me the law in writing. I will never go back to CVS again.
I am a frequent buyer at that store. I buy all my prescriptions there and was treated very rude. They are losing a high dollar customer and they did not care. When I got home I tried to find the so call Fed law on the internet and it is not there. I believe that CVS just did not want to take the ** back. I supposedly was speaking to the manager of Pharmacies. So long CVS. You lost a loyal customer and I lost a $20 purchase. I happened to want a more expensive bottle of ** so CVS just lost a sale!!! I'm at a loss for words for how horrible this experience was. I woke up this morning with pink eye and within 10 minutes had my doctor send a prescription for me to the CVS Pharmacy in Oxford, Ohio. I called them 45 minutes later to check on it and they hadn't even checked their voicemail yet, which is where my script was located. An hour later I went through their drive-thru and was told my script would be filled "sometime by the end of the day". Meanwhile the pink eye has spread to my other eye. Two hours later I called again and was put on hold for 30 minutes, hearing "CVS Pharmacy, please hold" 3 different times. Then I come to find THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THAT ANTIBIOTIC ON THEIR SHELF AND DIDNT BOTHER TO TELL ME.
So I had to call 3 separate pharmacies myself to track it down. Walmart had just one more left and were more than willing to help me. But of course CVS hadn't done enough, so they transferred my script to WALGREENS. And to top it all off, Walgreens had a system outage and could not fax my information to Walmart. So Walmart thankfully was willing to call my doctor again and fill the prescription within minutes. So thank you, CVS Pharmacy, for making me wait 7 hours for an antibiotic that I really needed. Fantastic job.

This morning at 930am I went to the CVS at 1001 Dunlawton Ave in Port Orange, FL. Since we moved here a year ago, this pharmacy has consistently disappointed us. They are extremely slow whether you try to drive thru or go inside, very impersonal, bordering on rude, especially the pharmacist that was on duty this morning at that 930-10am timeframe and generally, not very helpful. I walked inside this time because the line outside at the window was long and I thought I could get done faster if I went inside, NOPE, there were 4 people working and 2 people in line in front of me and after waiting in line for 10 mins I finally asked the man in front of me (who was using a walker) if he had been helped yet and he said no, they had not even acknowledged him.
We continued to wait and when they finally got done with him, it was my turn. When the clerk gave me my total I was confused, one of my scripts did not have the generic available and they were charging me $88 for the script and when I asked for an explanation the clerk asked the pharmacist who told her that they don't carry the generic and she does not know if any other CVS does. When I asked the clerk if they could call around to find out if other CVS had my script, she said no. I will be taking all of my scripts out of this CVS and recommend you find another place to get yours too.

I have been on the phone and in the store complaining about this issue for over 5 hours. It is a small amount of money, but the principal of the matter is what I am concerned about. I went into CVS today and I wasn't even stealing. I didn't try to leave with their merchandise. I was just honestly trying to buy food and perfume, and some other things. Well I bought the food but I realized after I had already paid for the food that I forgot about the perfume. And then realized I forgot something else that I needed and that I forgot to grab. Well I grabbed the perfume and grabbed some other things that I wanted on the way up to the register, and saw that the employees was staring at me and pointing at me, and talking to each other.
I already have weak emotions and cry over the littlest thing, and so I started crying, and I put the stuff down and started to leave. Before I could even get out the door the manager told me that he wanted my address and that he didn't want me back in the store. I asked him "Why?" and he said because I tried to steal from them, and I said, "No I didn't," and he said, "Yes you did. I saw you." And I said, "No you saw me forget to pay for something," and told him, "I was coming back up to the front to pay for the stuff before I realized you made your assumption and told all your employees. and they was staring and pointing at me, and talking about me then I wanted to put the stuff down and leave because I felt like I was violated or something." Then he proceeds to tell me my husband isn't allowed in there either anymore. I plan on calling the Better Business Bureau and filing a harassment suit against CVS and the manager of this CVS.

I've spent 2 weeks non stop on the phone with CVS to get my son's very important time sensitive infusion medication. Our insurance approved anyone! To send medication as we already have Coram doing the infusions at our home. Coram and CVS then went into a pissing contest to pick up both medicine delivery and infusion services. This has kept my son from getting his medication. He is now going on 2 weeks late having his medicine. I was told by CVS on two separate occasions that the meds were approved and being delivered overnight. Both occasions no meds arrived. No phone call, no update and both times our delivery canceled. I'm told CVS and Coram are the same people, if this is true why does it matter who sends it? Just get it here! My son's health is being put aside. He's the one hurting here.

I didn't call or say anything then, but in February 2017 I obtained 4 bottles of insulin of ** and the same crimes happened of how they sold ** to me. I had opened 3 of those 4 vials of insulin and the same crimes happened again, only to be put in the hospital because CVS sold bad insulin again to me. I was able to obtain the same type of insulin while I was in the hospital and no problems as it turned out to work fine with my person.
After my blood sugar came down, then the hospital let me go. CVS forced me into life-threatening situations and the manager made remarks about how they'd replace the insulin, but said as if nothing happened in those situations, but that was also criminal. I kept quiet when he said what he did. I finally got the insulin I needed, but am scared to use the insulin. The crimes CVS caused just about caused murder towards me. I tried to be nice, while in the store. Insulin costs too much with being on disability too. Nothing can make up for what CVS did to me except, maybe prison.

They are ** 60mg once a day, ** 325/5 @ up to 4 per day. ** 300 mgs @ 3 times daily. I can't stop taking two of these abruptly! If done there is risk of seizures and more. Not to mention pain levels, pain, sweats, chills, diarrhea, puking.
On 2/20/17 saw my doctor who put my escripts to CVS Riverhead, NY. 631-727-9000. To be filled 2/21/2017. I called told "we will fill them." Called on 2/24/17 out of stock, "we will order them." I waited till 12:30 p.m. Called 3/2/17 they will not have my ** until maybe next week. Not one call it follow up from the pharmacy.
How does a pharmacy run out of **? How do they run out of **? Scripts I've gotten for three years? I'm in very bad condition! This is not the first time. This is not acceptable. This can't be legal either. They have messed up my prescribed care and caused me great physical, mental and emotional pain. I called CVS corporate on 3/1/17 reported this, no one has called from there either. My doctor is aware, that pharmacy, the corporate offices and now it is time for small claims as I've been without ** for 6 days, and ** for 7 days. I was told that the prescription was not returnable as it was filled locally and was not in a sealed manufacturers bottle. The pharmacist did not engage me but sent a tech (who was horrified) to deny my return. After thousands of filled prescriptions and several returns for various reasons I am horrified that a medicine I had not requested was being denied.
I have contacted the local store and corporate and made an official complaint. After almost 2 weeks I have had no contact from store or company to either resolve, apologize or explain. This has happened the past 3 times I have been in there but get this when she isn't there magically these employees can key in the correction. I finally had enough. I can't believe I just wasted all that time and in top of that I feel like crap today and all I was trying to do is save my family some money. I will have to pray for Jenni tonight that she gets more training on how to treat her customers and do the right thing and on how to be a better manager!!! After years and years of having this dreadful company attempt to cheat me at check out, I've finally decided I won't spend another dollar in this store. I was recently sent an email with a 40% off one item discount. I also received a $2 Extra Buck coupon in the mail. I figured I'd give them one more try to see if they still cheat their customers by playing mathematical tricks at the register. I wasn't disappointed.
They now have something new: they can order your discounts, coupons and extra bucks in any order the company chooses, and guess what? It will never, ever be in the customer's favor. It will always be in the company's favor. They attempted to cheat me out of .87 cents. I know, it's a ridiculously small amount of money, but it's MY money and not theirs. When they informed me of their new policy of "ordering" the discounts, I decided to ask for a refund and will never step foot in a CVS again. I refuse to waste my time or money at establishments that don't honor their word, or respect my patronage. The clerk was quite chatty and since I didn't feel well, I just wanted to get home and take some medicine. When I got home, I discovered I only had three items. The Saline Spray was not in the bag. I called immediately and spoke with the store manager and she said a man came back into the store and said it was in his bag and he hadn't purchased it. She said she would hold it for me. The item was $4.19.
As I became more ill, I decided since the store is not all that close to my home, I just couldn't drive all the way over there to get it. I called back and asked that they simply credit my account and was told they could not do that because of company policy. I have the receipt and all of the transaction information and they have the product. Why on earth could they not simply credit my Discover account if I gave them the number? She absolutely refused. They were out of the candy so I put my wallet back into my purse and waited for her to find a different candy. Once she had chosen, we started walking to the front to pay for it. Before we got there, a lady stopped me and accused me of shoplifting a red box of candy. I reached into my purse and showed her my red wallet, and she relaxed some but continued to tell me that it was wrong and I was lucky I was only a "teenager" (I'm 19). I left the store, angry without the candy and with the already paid for medications.
Later, I realized I wanted to get her name so I could report her, so I went back, alone. There, as soon as I walked in she said to her manager, loudly, "uh oh, she's back." The manager was very kind and understanding and apologized for the mix-up but the original employee said I was "lying" and how "I was putting words in her mouth". The manager eventually told her to go assist the customers and she walked off, glaring at me. First off, I want to say I made a mistake. It was a 24 hour CVS and I came to the counter at 8:59pm right before the pharmacy closed. I came up to the counter with my boyfriend and was greeted by a nice teenager, who said he could not help me at this time, he was already signed out. Some other guy comes to help me. I was really sick 2 weeks ago with intense pain in my stomach and nausea, I ran out of my prescription and felt amazing up until tonight. At 8:45 in intense pain and nauseous that I couldn't deal with the pain all night and asked my boyfriend to drive me because I could not. Instead of being helpful, the manager started to close the gate to say in a way "We are closing", but waits for me.
I came in hoping to ask if I was lucky enough to have a doctor that put in for a refill, or if it was possible to get one pill to hold me off for the night, or even a recommendation of something I could have. Instead, the staff didn't have the time of day to treat me kindly. I felt extremely rushed, the guy at the counter told me I should've come earlier in an offhanded comment but asked my information to look me up anyway. At this point I now realize they were closing and I apologized. The guy couldn't find me in the system and I have a mini panic attack, he says I would have to talk to the manager about it. The manager wants to help a bit, but obviously doesn't care and wants to get out of there. I start crying and the cashier walks away and I hear him mutter about, "And now she's crying." (Makes me cry even more, still in pain btw.)
At this point I can't even ask the question, I'm obviously upset and my boyfriend didn't exactly know what to say, but I ended up saying we should just get something from the store shelves. Neither of those two offered me any sort of caring or kind words. Nothing. Absolutely nothing, they were just glad to be getting home. Which I get but there was not one ounce of compassion. I get they probably deal with druggies and people like this all the time. But it escalated so quickly. I'm not a hard customer. I made a mistake and it felt like to them it was the end of the world and when you are in pain and people can't give you the time of day, it really hurts.
My ray of sunshine was the cashier who helped my boyfriend find some anti nausea stuff quickly, and it has ginger to help settle my stomach. I was hiding behind my boyfriend's back, because I didn't want anyone to see my obviously tear soaked face and she asked what was wrong and if I was in pain or going to throw up. Her name is Jodie. She is a wonderful human being and the only reason I would EVER return to that store after that. Thank you Jodie, for taking a second to help me, and make me feel like I wasn't a bother.
Like I said, I get I came in unknowingly right before close, which in retail is the worst! But I've worked at Other stores and never made someone feel like crap for it. The lack of patience was astounding, and on paper it doesn't seem as bad but the last thing you want to hear when you're trying not to cry is to have someone walk away from you and essentially roll your eyes at them.

I have been CVS customer since it used to be called Peoples Drug store in Washington, D.C. and never had anyone talk to me or disrespect me as she have done. The company should be ashamed for having someone represent them as her. Will never shop there. Rite Aid here is your new customer.

Over a month ago I went into CVS and turned in a prescription for injections. They explained to me it needed to go through their specialty pharmacy because these needed to be ordered. A day or so later, I received an automated phone call saying my prescription was being processed. A couple weeks go by and I contact pharmacy. They stated they need authorization (which I already submitted) and insisted on getting that directly from the doctor's office. I was confused and upset. As far as I knew this order was already being processed, which it hadn't, in fact it had just been sitting there. Rep was nonapologetic and told me they were faxing my Dr office and should hear back the following day.
I called my Dr office and let them know about incoming fax. This whole authorization thing keeps back and forth each time I call pharmacy, saying they are waiting for my Dr to send authorization. My doctor's office has sent authorization and has spoken to pharmacy asking them to process... until today. Finally, a rep states to my Dr office, that they don't accept my ins. I need to go through a completely different pharmacy. This has gone on for almost 6 weeks while I have been waiting for a prescription. The pharmacy has had multiple opportunities to let me know they weren't able to help me as well as my contact information.

Overpriced with coverage. First off when ordering my specialty medications, there was a lot of confusion. I was misquoted price on 2 meds. Luckily, I was aware of my benefits and questioned it. Spoke to 3 people before it was corrected. Then I recently received a phone call that they undercharged me for ** $60 (which sounded correct). For future reference, ** will be 80% of the normal price. Normal price is $380 with CVS Caremark so I would pay $304! You can pay for this medication out of pocket at a fertility pharmacy for between $100 and $200. I have no idea why a covered prescription is costing more than out of pocket price. This medication is required to go through CVS Caremark specialty pharmacy. CVS Caremark does a wonderful job of trying to rip off their patients.

Gail did not do that maybe because is incompetent or she was in a rush to get a break, anyway she didn't do it, I was sent to a Collection Agency!! For freaking $80 and did not call or communicate with me to find out what happened, after having to pay it directly to the collection agency I needed a refill called CVS specialty to place the order telling me that they couldn't do that because I was delinquent and I was in a collection department, after been on the phone explaining to several representatives, one told me that I could hang up if I wanted because couldn't get me the Supervisor, I didn't hang up but she did, great!
Now I am trying to get my Credit report cleared, they had not updated my account and I am still on my credit on collection. This is so frustrating!! Now trying to get HR involved to see what other excuses they have, total incompetence! I wish I could change this horrific company but unfortunately because our insurance we are stuck with them! having said that, these people need to be accountable for the horrible acts they commit against sick people in need. I was not surprised to see the amount of complaints and Bad reviews about this company, but as I say Karma is the best and they will be punished for treating sick people so unfairly. They have to go!

I submitted a refill for a medication last week, qty 70. Instead of giving me 70, CVS decided to only provide 60. When I called to get the explanation, they stated the instructions said 2/day so 60. My doc specifically wrote 70 on the prescription, however CVS chose to ignore those directions. Common sense dictates the pharmacy staff should have called both me and my doc office for clarification. Nah, instead they arbitrarily made the decision to short me 10 pills with no reason why when I picked up the meds. Sure, my bad for not updating the instructions ahead of time. I get that. But come on, shorting my pills w/out any communication is garbage. The issue could have been resolved before the prescription was filled. Simply CVS doing what they want, who cares about the customer.

Expensive prescription AND incompetent pharmacist. I am a pretty laid back person, went to the drive through pharmacy CVS in my little town. I know the people at the only other pharmacy pretty well and was trying to save money. Little did I know that CVS is now more expensive than any other pharmacy in my area! However, what made the experience far more awful was the fact that the pharmacist was an angry looking woman who obviously was not in a good mood.
When my mouth dropped at the nearly 300 dollar price tag (it was no more than 30 dollars in the past) she actually SNAPPED at me with no provocation, "Well, lots of people pay twice that much! Get over it" and really traumatized me. I am low income and struggle to pay rent and deal with illness. To have someone be so cruel or rude, esp, in my small rural town Lexington, VA... well I feel she should find a job not working with customers. I work at a desk and the priority is to be kind to all clients.

First off I'd like to say 20 years ago CVS had great customer service. Fast forward into today the business has changed and customer service is awful. For example when you need to get a refill they make you wait until you're completely out of medication. Now for anyone that's on medications that you have to take everyday you know when you're running low that's the time to get it filled. If the insurance will fill it then why won't CVS? About 10 years ago the fax machine was a problem getting worse. They would say we didn't receive the fax but it was under a layer hundreds of other faxes. So I would have to go down there personally and inquire, stand there and wait until they would do their job.
Now with the new generation of workers which know nothing about customer service, pharmacology or medical terminology and if I may be so bold to say, they can't count days on a calendar. When the insurance will cover a medication why would CVS make you wait until you're completely out of that medication? I'll tell you I'm sick of CVS. There's always a problem. There's always a wait. Then you get up to the counter after waiting in a long line and they tell you we're still working on your prescription and this is at 3 in the afternoon. I called for the refill at 8 a.m. what is wrong with this picture? Where is the care for the customer? Where did customer service go? And lastly, where did the prescription go when they say it's been deleted or their systems are down?
Now I think it's time that we all boycott CVS due to their lack of compassion, professionalism, customer service and hiring people that do not know basic medical terminology for prescriptions and cannot count the number of days in a calendar. I don't usually speak my mind unless it's important and from what I see in the change of CVS from 20 years ago to today, nobody should get any prescriptions filled there. I check the stats and I'm not surprised that many others are dissatisfied with CVS in general but most of all the pharmacy. It's time to go back to the little mom-and-pop pharmacies. Also this is CVS in Connecticut.

I was getting sick, coming up with a sinus infection and fever. I decided to wait for the 2 prescriptions I gave the pharmacy attendant. When I get home, took my pills but the other medicine was nowhere to be found. :(
I called the CVS on sunset &117th and spoke to the pharmacy manager Juvenia. I was trembling from fever but couldn't let this go unsolved. I explained the situation and she couldn't understand me. Knowing that she knows Spanish I spoke to her in her native language. SPANISH. Why do I have to speak in another language when I am addressing her in English? Poor hiring policy by CVS. I explained my situation. All she said was that she trusted her employee of course in Spanish language and that there's is no way the employee could forgotten to let me know. Do you think it occur to Jovania, to say "I'm sorry. Let me see how we can make it better". I reply I wouldn't be calling you if she would have gave me the option to wait for the insurance or pay on my own. Of course I would have paid on my own after all I was sick and wanted to get out of there with the medicine.
It is very unfortunate to see what businesses have become. People hired with poor customer and management skills or language barriers. Spoke to Jeff (Cust Service manager) at 800-746-7287 and told him I will sent someone to pick up my Rx at another Drugstore other than CVS. Attitudes like these make CVS lose millions. PS. My name is Christa **. We live north about a mile from your 56th and Emerson store in Indianapolis and I do understand as soon as you head south from this store, home properties drop quite rapidly and at best can be questionable. On 2/13/17 at approximately 9:40 PM I rushed to this particular CVS as our 4 year old was in excruciating pain and wanted to try one last thing before we rushed him to the emergency room. Our research on Google showed that in all likely hood he had pinworms from daycare and we showed that CVS carried medicine to treat this. I walked back to the cream, lice etc section and looked and looked but could not find it and the cashier was nearby and told her what I was looking for and should be near the lice products. Well, she headed me over to the shampoo department and that is where the store manager Brad ** got involved.
I told him it is not for lice but pinworms which would be an external product not an external one and that's when he started getting quite short with me. "You're just going to have to look for it yourself" His shortness and rudeness regarding my insight on where this product may be in his store was truly amazing. My wife was also on the phone trying to guide me and she heard the whole thing and couldn't believe it either. Not only WHAT he said, but his tone and demeanor was unbelievable. It was quite obvious, he had one thing on his mind but to get home.
I did find the location of the product and guess what, they were out. By this time, the announcement came over, it was 10 PM and the store was closing. I asked the cashier aren't they able to look on the computer for a product? She said yes, but not now as it was after 10?? Why didn't they do that for me 20 minutes ago. As I was leaving, I asked her who was the store manager. To my surprise she stated Brad **. I questioned her answer as this was not the actions of upper level management. She lead me to the front door and showed me a picture of him on the wall. I quickly took a photo of this as I was so amazed on his attitude and he comes running at me and starts yelling "You can't take photos in here!" The experience was unbelievable and I will be transferring all my prescriptions (my husband has lupus and was getting all her scripts at this store along with my daughters monthly script). Now I have to drive all the way to Mars and back to a CVS store to use my gift card. I had to leave without having my prescription filled. They will not allow you to use their own gift cards if they are located within a Target store!!! How stupid and utterly senseless is this??? I am an employee working in the Fulton /Nassau Street area for almost fifteen years. I am also a CVS regular customer and never had any complaints. However, my experience in the store on 129SFulton Street NY 10003 was horrific. I am a Juvenile Officer employed for the past 13 years with the same Agency. I work the overnight shift (Juvenile Warrant Unit) and went to the store at the end of my shift with a co worker to purchase some Valentine cards for him and I needed an eyeliner, preferably ELF. I always bought my eyeliners in that particular store because it's close to my job, very economical ($1). The employees know me because I always ask them for assistance with eyeliners.
On Saturday February 11th, 2017, while we stood in the aisle of the store browsing through cards, I decided to search for my ELF eyeliner in the same area but I did not see it. I saw other brands that were more expensive, (Rimmell $7.99). Overnight Manager ** came towards my co-worker and I inquiring whether or not he could help us. I asked him for the Elf eyeliners and he told me there were no more. He looked at me in a strange way. He reiterated that he was not sure because he was responsible for checking on milk and other products. I continued checking out various other brands and not hurrying as we were just finished working and en route to the train. We were going home. The manager reluctantly and impatiently stood on the other end of the store watching and glaring at us from under his eyes.
At this point, he came towards us and demanded in a loud tone if we found what we were looking for and that we should hurry up. He continued to say that we were loitering and that it was store policy to ask customers to leave if they were in the same place for long periods of time. Both my co-worker and I were shocked. He then came nearer towards me saying clearly "Ma'am, I'm afraid I'm going to have you leave the store right now. Step out of the store right now." I asked him why. He said he didn't want me there especially since he saw me put an item in my bag. We were clearly shocked and horrified. I told my partner to leave because I realized that the situation was getting more complicated and he had to go home. He paid for his Valentine cards and left.
I immediately called 911 and explained my story to the responder. I explained that I needed a Police Officer at the store because I was falsely accused of stealing and I was also an employee of the City of New York. The CVS manager then called an employee (Young Hispanic male). He told him that he was sorry that he was going to leave late and that he had caught a shoplifter and he was calling the cops. He circled around me, paced and was very disrespectful saying and mumbling in a deranged manner that people like me needed God in Our lives, he's Jamaican and didn't play with his job, I'm going to learn, he's not letting me go anywhere and anything I had I better pay for it. He then called the police (911) and explained to them that he had a problem in the store, that I was being loud and being violent.
He explained to the police that no one was injured and proceeded to describe my physical attire, clothing, shoes, pocketbook, and coat color etc. He was arrogant and proud of his (catch). He was clearly exercising his prowess. He told me he was a man of God. He has two daughters that he cares for. Some of us are useless in society. He said that he was going to compliment me on my dreads when I came in but later he said he realized that I came to steal. He said thieves came there everyday, all races. He said he was tired of fed up thieves in CVS and he was Jamaican and worked hard and "who don't play with his money."
The police arrived and the other employee (Hispanic male) began telling them his story. Please be mindful that this person never knew what happened. He never spoke to me or the Manager, only when he was directed to stay for over time until his manager (Mr. **) dealt with the police. I came to the front of the store by this time when I saw the Police in the doorway speaking with the co-worker, with Mr. ** closely following me and looking in my hand to see an eyeliner I had reluctantly picked up (RIMMEL) to purchase. However, the cops asked the Manager loudly if he wanted me out of the store. He exclaimed "YES" , so they ordered me to leave without questioning any of us.
I was clearly insulted and intimidated. I was embarrassed and felt harassed, racially and culturally profiled (** woman with dreadlocks), traumatized, victimized and bullied. I am a mother of four children and a proud grandmother. A noted NYC CUNY Mentor, NYC Juvenile Counselor, Parent and Community Advocate and Teacher. Most of all, I am considered by everyone in my path as a Good Citizen. I am not a thief. I am appalled at such behavior towards a paying customer in the year 2017 in NYC. I left the product.
I have since contacted my attorney in regards to this matter and would appreciate your in-depth investigation and mediation in this matter. I hope that your decision would include the full discipline and appropriate counseling for and with your Manager, Mr. ** to the fullest extent. He does not represent CVS well. He does not care, he is not a People Person. He was absolutely rude and extremely aggressive towards me as a customer. What was really very scary was that all the time (1hr), he paced around me, sighed, taking long breaths, breathing heavily, almost weird like. I thought if I moved the wrong way he would try to grab, restrain or hit me. He attire was unkempt. His shoes had red laces. Someone assumed he was gang related. He was angry and obviously very upset.
He was not professional in his manner or in his approach in trying to verify whether or not my co-worker and I came to shop or we were thieves trying to steal from CVS at 7:30am in uniform. I went back to the store after work this morning 2/12/2017, to see if I would meet the Daytime Manager and to purchase my eyeliner. Elf products were lined up in front of the store in abundance as usual. Mr. ** did not know the brand nor was he interested in looking for it for me. A helpful employee assisted me with my purchase. I tried calling the store many times today to speak to "**" the day General Manager but no one ever answered the phone. Also, I have video recording of Mr. ** calling 911 and harassing, following and holding me hostage in the store until the police came. I am certain that your store cameras will prove my story true.
P.S. I refuse to ever shop at CVS again and will encourage my family and friends not to do so until this ridiculous matter is resolved. He embarrassed and insulted and wrongfully accused a Good Citizen of stealing. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest opportunity. Thank you. Dissatisfied Customer.

Every month I go to fill my generic ** Perscription and they NEVER have it! It's always one excuse or another usually blaming the DEA due to limited supplies. I have read that's not necessarily the case. I have read that the pharmacies like to give some of us the runaround. They red flag you for whatever reason they choose! If they don't like the way you look, God forbid if you show up in sweats and a hat they can judge you for being unkept and therefore label you an addict. I have also gone in all dressed up so what's the problem here? Switch doctors due to insurance coverage or what not, they red flag you as you hop around to different doctors. Try to get at another pharmacy because they don't have it, now you are a pharmacy hopper, red flag, you are now labeled! Show any kind of attitude because you have to do without your meds, who wouldn't be irked when you're in pain, yeah they flag you as an addict!
I didn't know all this until I researched this. I have felt like this for the last 2+ years, is it just my luck they never have my meds, why am I always singled out! I went to fill my script yesterday. The girl looks at me, looks at the script, then says we might not have that (that's before she even checked the computer), then she says it was a day early, come back tomorrow. I asked her if they are going to be out of the next day, she said more than likely! (How was she to know?) So I go back (early) the next day, they don't have it. A few months ago they said it was too early to fill when it was 4 days past the refill date, due to they didn't have it. Only one time in the last 6 months they have it and I didn't have to run out completely and be in pain.
I have multiple chronic conditions which should not be in their control to judge me, give me the runaround and play their games! It's my doctors call on what I need and how often, they know my health status, not CVS! I take exactly per day as I am prescribed and in 30 I am out and get my refill on a steady basis, that's all I want! They make me feel inferior when they tell me, "We can't fill that today" and they won't even tell me when it comes in next because they don't know, or so they say! I have been on these meds for roughly 7 years for my conditions. I need these to combat my pain and then they make me go without and stay in pain. I have to go to this pharmacy only right now because I signed a pain contract with my doctor. I am calling my doctor to see if I can change this.
Right now, I am very limited on seeing any doctor because no ones takes my Marketplace insurance. I need to see my orthopedic doctor, I can't until the other insurance takes over next month. As soon as the other coverage begins, I want to ban CVS altogether! I'm just really fed up with being treated like a second rate citizen by CVS. I'm hoping I can find someone to help me put an end to what they are doing. They also treated a friend of mine poorly by leaving her a sticky note attached to her scripts telling her they won't fill her combination of scripts anymore. She was irked because why didn't they call her in person and explain why. It's her doctor to make that determination and they could have called her doctor also if there was a problem.

I am a diabetic requiring an insulin shot five times a day. My local CVS Pharmacy started handling my medications in October 2016. In that time, I have been without insulin shots for nine weeks due to the pharmacy's inadequacy. My doctor writes my prescription for shots and needles at 150 for 30 days, which is 5 times a day. Because the box of needles come in 100 count, my CVS Pharmacy will not open a box to give me the other 50. Instead, they use another refill on my prescription.
My last prescription was written December 8, 2016 for 150 needles for 30 days with two refills. It is February 7, 2017, sixty days after the prescription was written and I am out of needles. When I called the CVS Pharmacy, I was told they would not open a box for the other fifty. Instead I needed to call the doctor for a new prescription. Upon calling the doctor, they will not give another prescription since it was written correctly. I am now without needles and have 30 days before my prescription will be refilled by the doctor. I will not be getting my insulin in those 30 days because the pharmacist (or tech) won't fill the prescription correctly.
When I called a new pharmacy to transfer to, I was told they most certainly can break a box open and the pharmacy was responsible to fill the prescription according to the directions from the doctor. When I contacted CVS again, I was told by a very rude woman that it was not their policy, it was not their problem and if I needed the insulin to call the doctor's office to fix doctor's mistake. When I contacted CVS again for the needles owed (because yes, I don't want to die from diabetic coma due to negligence on CVS's part), I was told I was being treated fairly.
Because CVS has filled the refill every 20 days, I have been charged each time, paying a co-pay every 20 days instead of thirty. At the moment, CVS owes 50 needles for the past 6 prescriptions but refuses to send them, a total of 300 needles. In order to get the correct amount of needles, I was told to have the doctor write the prescription in increments of 100, so I would need a prescription for 200 needles instead of the 150.

It's ridiculous all that you have to deal with when you pick up medications often at drug stores. This is part of my business. The wait is horrible. The mistakes happen and the people usually look wore out. But this place can never ever seem to get it together and today I handed them three peoples' scripts making it three a piece. These are sick elderly needing meds and they told me if there were any problems they would call. An arrogant Steve I think was his name said he called and my box was full. He's a liar. They could not fill one lady's meds. They don't take her insurance, but never told me the others some were out of pocket expense. No one told us again. The guy was rude and ran over top of me talking as if he was on speed himself. Very rude. Done with this store Lake Orion Mi CVS. I try not to go there due to their crazy ran pharmacy but thought I could give one more try. It's never been a well ran pharmacy but it's getting worse!

CVS has become such a joke to work with. I had a prescription for two different sleep medications to alternate every other day. I have filled them like this for the last six months with no issues. My doctor is aware of what I'm taking because he is the one writing them! I was called by the pharmacy saying they can not fill them because they can't be taken together. I am aware of this because they AREN'T taken together. They have now listed my prescription as invalid and will not fill my prescription even though there are refills on them and it has been filled this way for the past six months.
They also constantly refill prescriptions that I do not tell them to refill. Many different times their auto refill will say a prescription is ready but when I go to pick them up they say they don't know why it says that because it's not ready. They are extremely overpriced on many medications that I can get at Walmart or Walgreens for much cheaper! My ins is in network with CVS so that is the only reason I go there to begin with. But after this experience, enough is enough and I will be taking my business elsewhere!

Dr like using CVS but the CVS Pharmacy is overrated. The wait time on the phone is very poor. Pharmacy trainees or interns do not have enough supervision or monitoring in filling prescription. The pharmacist does not always have enough time to answer questions about medication. Lines are too long to pick up medication prescribe by the Dr. Lack of security at night. Reorganization and more monitoring. Prices are higher than other pharmacy. But the best thing about them is they're 24 hour open.

There is usually a wait any time I go but at off-peak times it is usually shorter. The drive-thru is the same though often quicker than going inside. I usually take my small dog when using the drive-thru and they often give her a doggie treat which she greatly looks forward to. This alone is a small detail that could be a deciding factor in choosing a pharmacy.

Store was clean when it opened but now their interior is so-so and seems grungy and in need of a sprucing up. Their staff changes frequently and some staff are helpful but many are not.
Their reward program used to be better but now tends to use apps which I do not have the ability to use since I do not have a smart phone or iPhone. Price check/rewards machines are often out of order and advertised specials are often not readily available. Prices on vitamins have become rather expensive. Unfortunately CVS is not a preferred pharmacy for our Medicare insurance.

The store is 24 hrs, but the pharmacy closes early in comparison. The reward program is fair; I use the coupons from time to time. However, the prescription refill program doesn't allow the customer to response to alerts via text. The text alert system doesn't let the customer cancel prescription refills or identify the medication being refilled. You have to enter your customer portal account or call to cancel a refill (not always report accurately) or determine which medication is being refilled.
Because my 3 requests weren't accurately cancelled, my family member picked up medication refill that I was no longer using. If I was not alert enough, to note the error I could have taken the medication with my current medications & overdosed. When I called to resolve the matter, initially the pharmacy representative held me responsible. The matter was finally resolved. CVS has a monopoly on prescription refill plans w/ the last three insurance plans. I'd prefer to the option to select my own. Lack of competition in a capitalistic society is not just.

When a company makes an error that results in a customer having to come back to get script filled (and be late to work as a result) they should sincerely apologize and move them to the front. Today that was not the case. When you get your script filled every 30 days and need it to function, they should have it available. One should not have to call days before to check if it's in stock or have it ordered (per CVS if it's on the shelf they give it out, which means they run out at times). Very poor service for regulars. I expect to have an issue at least half of the time and even so, if the techs would just show some sincere empathy and acknowledgemental I'd probably forgive it, instead of excuses or blame.
When calling the pharmacy most of the time I am so rushed I can barely get a full sentence out, again poor service. I know some things are beyond their control (insurance companies are not doing and the pharmacist can't control this), but they can control filling orders in the very timeframe they give you and if they fail to have it done, apologize and make it right. I have never filed a complaint review, but today I had it. This is nowhere near the first time this has happened and sadly I am positive it won't be the last. This is in regard to the CVS on Solano Avenue in Albany, California only. I have no experience with other CVS pharmacies. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. But apparently that's not an option on this site. My spouse has very serious, potentially life threatening epilepsy. He does not do well on generics (read: he has seizures unless he's on name brand medications). His UCSF neurologist wrote a very specific script saying "Must be name brand, no generics allowed due to therapeutic failure."
TWICE in the last six months I was handed generics for him. These were two different pharmacists who filled the RXs, not the same person. I work in a field where we handle medications for the elderly, and I know errors happen because we're just human after all. But handing me medications that are WRONG two times in six months, and arguing with me about it? Really? I, the consumer, have to tell you to print out the prescription and read it to you so you understand it? Who is the pharmacist here??!
My observation is that it's not just the human factor. This place is completely overwhelmed with too few staff members all the time. They're stressed to the max and I believe their computer system is a big part of the problem. They seem to have to fight with it if anything isn't textbook perfect (e.g. you require name brand meds only). It seems to be set up to direct them to generics at all times, and then they don't have the time or attention to detail to look closely at the prescription for all the information.
This is NOT OK - what if I wasn't watching what we were getting? Who else is being affected by this ineptitude? Do they truly understand there are lives at stake here? I will be filing a complaint with the California State Board of Pharmacies and CVS in the next few days. And I will be changing pharmacies and taking my drugstore dollars elsewhere, even for products like makeup and deodorant, as I cannot support this ill performing company. The copy of the receipt I have included is for the brand name drug, as I would not accept the generics. But it gives information needed to look into this issue, with date, RX number, etc.

I am forced to use CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy due to a program paying for my medications. A regular pharmacy at my local grocery store verifies my prescription and insurance and tells me if there is a problem in 1 minute and I get my meds the same or the next business day. CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy is exactly the opposite: (1) the order cannot be verified at the time I make it over the phone because the pharmacy is split into unnecessary "departments" and they do not communicate to each other successfully; (2) a problem almost always (2 out of 3 orders) appears on the day the order has to be shipped; (3) I am never notified of the problem and a "solution" is worked out behind my back.
The latest fiasco was trying to bill my insurance plan from the previous year instead of the new one, the older discontinued plan rejects them that "they are not on the network" and they do not bill my insurance at all but the program that pays for my medications. The result is that those money do not count towards my deductible and I cannot go to a doctor or have lab tests done - will have to pay 100% if I do. I gave them my new insurance information on 3 occasions, the info was recorded in their text system, and it was still not updated when I called today.
Supposedly they had to re-bill my insurance but that was not done since they had my old insurance information set in their "system". They have several "departments" that are doing the work of a single pharmacist and a computer at my local grocery store pharmacy. I hope the Feds finally get how bad CVS Caremark Specialty pharmacy DOES NOT care and shut them down, burn them, and bury them underground!!!

The pharmacist or pharm tech is always pleasant and never tries to rush you (at least at the Arcadia one). If there is a problem, they identify it and give you suggestions on how to remedy the situation. Most of our problems stem from the doctor's office not faxing the prescription in a timely manner, or faxing it to the wrong CVS. The pharmacist will give a short and pointed instruction on the new medication usage, just enough for the average consumer, in addition of the reams of literature to cover all the bases. They are consistently prompt, helpful and knowledgeable.

I have read the reviews and agree with many. Health Care should include actually caring about your customers. There is always a very slow response on refilling certain prescriptions, and they are often out of medications related to pain management. Today I finally decided I have had enough. On top of that I logged into the website as I take multiple medicines for chronic conditions and discovered all of my medications had been erased. I contacted customer service and they never apologized and gave me a bogus explanation that someone at the store may have done a reset. Of course the Pharmacist at the store has no idea what I was talking about. Perhaps I complained and things just disappeared. Last month they were out of ** 10mg (low dose to get me to mechanical function to participate in therapy and the everyday things that people take for granted). Contacted insurance because they know you can't pharmacy hop.
This month they were out of ** 25mg and was told that an order would be in today. How long does it take to unload a Cardinal Drug order (I was pharmacy tech 18 yrs ago for CVS and the time, technology and customer service is worse). By 1 pm not ready, call wait 10 min., then it would be ready. At 2:30 call again wait 10 minutes for a pharmacist and told they are running behind. Finally at 4:00 my daughter picks it up but 1 Rx still wasn't ready but it says ready for pick up online. They are not Doctors. I have had a lumbar spinal fusion to prevent paralysis and multiple complications to the point I am handicap and I rely on family to pick up meds when they are promised to be ready. When a doctor starts on a low dose and then increases the dosage you are supposed to fill the new script as often they start low and increase to a therapeutic level.
I wish they could step in my shoes one day and live with debilitating pain. The laws has caused an overreaction where you have to be judged and there is always some delay. Walgreens can fill a script in 20 min and know me by name and if they don't have a drug in stock in every case they will fill it the next morning with no phone call. CVS can take 2 days and multiple phone calls and you get the feeling you are an interruption to their day. The war on drugs will be an epic fail, feels more like people that deal with actual chronic pain are suffering. Let's remember that there are pharmacies and health care providers that had their hands in the "cookie jar".
I could go on and on about the treatment and lack of care but it won't change anything. Doctors complain when a treatment plan is outlined and then patients have to go through the same thing month after month. You are dealing with patients some have faced life-altering health concerns and you are the last line between them getting the medications they need in a timely manner to make their life a little better. Many patients are often afraid to speak up because they can "red flag" you for no reason at all.

The pharmacists @ CVS, Jim ** and Samuel **, Dallas, always show concern, and are very personable, and go out of their way to accommodate my needs, and questions. I always leave feeling as if they are looking after my best interest.

I don't have a choice in pharmacies. My insurance makes me get my rx from CVS. The pharmacy people are very nice. However their reward program is the pits. After 10 paid rx you get $5 off of goods you purchase at the store. CVS has the highest cost on rx as well as items in the store. I don't buy anything in the store. I just get my rx's.

CVS is frequently out of stock and there is confusion on drug interactions by PSh. They frequently messed up 90/30 day dispense allowances, costing more in copays. Higher priced PBM costing makes drugs less affordable and I am unable to utilize without insurance. They are not patient centered. Decent staff but terrible corporate culture.

Get yourself together CVS and hire workers where workers are needed.

I am a pain patient and require ** patches. Over the years I have learned to plan ahead. I left CVS locally in Monroe NY and returned just this year hoping things were better. I had my monthly appointment with my pain doctor. I have also tried spinal stimulation but it was no help after the implants. My monthly meeting with my doctor went as usual. He filed a electronic request now required in NY on Dec 20th.
My patches will run out Dec 29th but you can pickup 2 days ahead of time. The 25th I asked the pharmacy the status and I was told they would be available by the tech the 27th. The 27th I was told that they were short on stock and could not complete fill unless they called the doctor and short filled and that would require another office visit co pay and RX to get the completed full order. I said that was unacceptable to have to schedule another appointment and pay a copay. I would wait until the 28th when the order and stock would be available.
Then as I was driving home I cell call that the RX stock will not be available until Friday December 30th after the date that I run out patches and they would try to expedite. No word from them as of today the 29th. Now to make matters worse after the new year A pre approval document will be required to get my RX. This document is nothing more than a stupid doc asking the doc if he tried this or that drug from a clearinghouse of pharmacists deciding what you need at Envision HQ. Stupid stupid. A doc to approve the rx that the doctor has already written. WHY. But if this gets delayed into the first of the year and the pain starts I will not be in a condition to make rational choices and serious complications will probably arise as it has in the past and I needed medical and mental help ASAP.
CVS is unresponsive in not ordering the quantity needed to fill my rx in the 10 days they had before I came to pick them up. I will suffer no loss to them. There is always another customer to wait on or backfill if we lose a customer. My insurance Admin company for Medicare Plan B (ENVISION) is horrible horrible horrible. THEY MAKE RULES ONLY TO MAKE MORE MONEY. The latest is they have ranked Pharmacy Chains and made special list that you must use or pay more copay.
CVS which is close to my home has been remove from the preferred list and is now slated as a standard store and it will cost more to take your RX there. Now I must use Rite Aid Drug and now I must cross town to get my patches filled because on one Rite Aid store is available to carry the patches. The other close stores are in a Hasidic controlled area of town where gentiles are not welcome and police are called as they have cameras on this selective area of town to know who enters. (Yes this is the USA but you have to live in a Hasidic area to know how the rules work.) And one of the listed locations does not even exist any longer. The store is a Dollar General cheap shop. I have filed complaints with CVS but no response, envision is a farce. They ignore you as they are the god controller and they have that complex there. I think they are pharmacists that did not make the grade for the real world.
I am ready to run out of meds, go crazy and do what I need to do to relieve the pain forever and get out of this mess created by major corporations and the almighty shareholder dollars. If you are a shareholder in CVS, Envision, Costco Mail order drug. I hope you are happy to see my member number reduced from your files. I never thought I would feel this way but the pain, heart the amount of drug, money I spend and the time managing pills and patches is too much after 11 surgeries. Enough is enough.

Across California, CVS Pharmacy has delivered incompetence, chronic understaffing and complete lack of care from its staff. Specifically the pharmacy department. I could write a paper on the account mistakes, errors, delays, etc that in some cases have involved life-threatening situations. The fact that CVS allows no commentary on their social media pages, and the fact they have an incredibly low rating here on Consumer Affairs says it all. I only do business there because I am forced to because my Medi-Cal provider requires me too, which is a strike against Gold Coast insurance company as well.

They persistently pushed me toward the newest drug in the family even though it was inappropriate for me. Now there is a new insulin glargine Approved and the long acting insulin that I have used for years is no longer covered. Again the recommended substitute is the new drug. CVS Pharmacy in Pulaski, TN I feel is partly responsible for the ** epidemic. The drug has not made it here yet, but it is available fifty miles away, I was told by a pharmacy tech. Three months ago I had back surgery and I am on mass amounts of pain meds. I was instructed by my surgeon to seek a pain management specialist. After a month wait for an appointment, I was written a prescription and dropped it off at CVS. An hour later I received a call from the pharmacist instructing me to call my pain clinic. At that point I was informed I was no longer a patient because I had filled an RX that morning from my surgeon. No discussion, nothing, with the information they were given, I was a doctor shopping drug addict. Mind you I have been sober for over four years.
So long story short, my insurance was canceled the next week, Dec 1st due to lack of hours. Have not worked in four months, disabled, broke and broken! Steve was not done yet. Guidelines state for surgeons that after 3 months the patient is good as new. I was cut back by 2/3rds. I have been heavily medicated for ten years for my back. In two weeks Steve had me cut off all pain meds with his pen and phone. If I was not a recovering alcoholic I would have found what I needed to live my life. Instead, I quit all pain meds. Got through it. Was fine until I was not. Last night I spent eight hours in the ER, never asked for pain meds, ** and steroids was all I needed to relax the muscles. They wrote pain meds anyway. Only CVS is out of the medication or do not want my business and I was the guy they were having problems with.
It seems to me pharmacies have become the DEA, doctors and controllers of my life. $345 for ER, to hopefully get my good name back and hopefully make any amends needed. I assume ** would have been much cheaper. Finally, while trying to "save lives", inadvertently pharmacists AND doctors are giving the business to the black market and costing lives, but saving their own butts from this overreaching activist idiots running the show. I guess pharmacists do not take the Hippocratic Oath!? The system is broken, worse than ever! I hope maybe one day common sense will take over, a patient will be a customer, otherwise I will lay in bed and be a non-working, welfare collecting loser...

EVERY TIME I would order I would have multiple individuals call to "schedule my order", ask same questions, tell me the next person to call would be for payment and still receive additional phone calls prior the person who would be mailing meds even after repeated assurances there would not be multiple calls. No one checked computer notes before calling and the left hand wasn't talking to the right.
One med, one time, was on back order and I was given something else then mid-cycle the other med came available and it took 3 phone calls for me to receive the same medication so I wasn't starting in one I'd never tried before -- fertility meds aren't cheap, the one I needed was over $300 (my portion) and I surely didn't want to have a reaction. Then, the final straw, I was quoted a med cost and authorized a med cost of $254 for a now overnight need. When they called to debit I was told $500!!! Apparently, the med I was taking use to be state determined for cost and now it was a flat rate.
After speaking with a manager, or who I was told was a manager, they told me they would make an adjustment to my account. NOW I am getting billing reports saying I'm past due. Each time I call, I have to get transferred because billing can't fix pricing and pharmacy is separate (again left hand and right hand can't communicate) and that's when I'm told the guy I spoke to who said there would be an adjustment was not a manager, only assistant and a manager would take care of it. I'm also told there is a note where a lesser credit was being offered based on a discount price or something yet, I'm told the bill would be adjusted and yet, here I am typing because I got a 2nd bill in the mail saying I'm past due on something they repetitively tell me an adjustment will be made for.
Now, I have to call again. This company is ridiculous. DON'T USE them. I have since been paying cash for my meds through a local pharmacy because I refuse to deal with them any more. I am filing a complaint with BBB this time and when I call tomorrow, I won't be getting off the phone until I speak to the man who told me he didn't adjust the bill from the beginning and his supervisor. I called the pharmacy and told the man that picked up my situation. He said it may have been a partial but checked the computer and said it was not noted in the computer. Surprisingly enough she was magically able to fill my prescription on Saturday. When I explained my situation about the shorted pills she became very defensive saying there was no way that was possible. I asked her to kindly check for me. She was typing my son's rx that had been there 3 days now. Then she tells me, "well the earliest we can have it is 11:15 am". It was now 9:15 am. When I worked there a few years ago waiters always had to be done in 15 minutes - things must have changed. I wasn't even a waiter. I had dropped my son's rx off 3 days prior. I said I wasn't leaving until I had my sons rx for school that I had dropped off 3 days ago. So I went to the other lane and waited. I had to pick up my son from physical therapy at 9:30 am down the street.
I moved twice so others could use the drive thru. I overheard they didn't have another customer's medicine in stock. Shocker, that also has happened to us several times when they know exactly when we come every month - I have also been told that and then have to drive twice as far to fill it. It's not like this was the first time something as lame-brained as this has happened, but it is the last. I have always given them the benefit of doubt and came back. I wasn't told anything else but I sat there so they could see I was waiting. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician and would never treat a customer this way especially when the pharmacy was in the wrong. I said I know how long it takes to fill a rx (5 minutes) - they knew I was a pharmacy technician - especially one dropped off 3 days ago. So I continued to wait. Finally when they knew I wasn't leaving they were filling it.
It was given to me and I asked for mine back also that I had just dropped off, to which a different tech who was at the window said "I'm calling the police". I said "go ahead". So I'm still waiting while he is describing the car I was driving to the police! Unbelievable! The police are actually getting called on a patient, who does this?? I guess CVS pharmacy does. I wasn't yelling, I was just speaking in an aggravated tone. He finally gave me both my son's filled rx and my rx paper. I left and went to pick up my son from physical therapy, he took his medicine and I dropped him off at school. At 11 am at home I get a call from the Lindenhurst Police asking me what happened. I told her and said "I would not be back to CVS retail store anywhere again". She said "so you will go to a different CVS?" I said "no I am not returning to any CVS". She said "ok that sounds like a solution".
So CVS actually calls the police when they have caused the problem? Typical of them. I didn't have good working experiences there either. They don't treat their techs very well and they don't pay them well either - 1.00 over minimum wage, still and this hasn't changed in years. So I've been on both sides and believe me they're no good. We won't be back for anything.

I bought $75.93 worth of products in CVS located at 225 N. Columbus, Chicago, IL on Wednesday night 10/26. One product (It's 10 mousse) I used the next morning which makes my hair greasy and didn't hold my hair style at all. So Thursday night 10/27 I went to the store wanting to replace it with another product that hold the hair better. I was told there is no returns or replacement because I removed the bar code sticker which I did because I don't intend to return or replace when I bought it. I explained to the cashier and she called her manager. The store manager, a ** young guy, with a weird pair of glasses acting like a cold blooded killer, no expression on his face or any empathy. He re-stated that their policy is no returns or replacement if bar code is removed.
There are many customers at around 9:30 pm there watching and everybody is shaking their head. I don't see their policy in NOWHERE. How do they expect that the customers know this policy? On their receipt, it says returns with receipt through 12/25/2016. It doesn't say if bar code is removed, items cannot be returned or even replaced. I will never to go any CVS store to buy anything. All they do is to screw each customer who don't have any idea of this terrible policy. I wish I could find attorney to sue this business for violating the right of the consumers. I'd rather pay the attorney to give this business a lesson.

WORST SERVICE EVER. I called 15 minutes before 9 pm and spoke to the Pharmacy Department about a prescription I NEEDED to pick up. I explain to the associate that I am in traffic and may reach about 9:05 pm, can they please wait so I can get my prescription. I then called the store back again and spoke to the pharmacy and explained where I was, and that I will probably arrive 9:02-9:05. I was blocks away. I arrived in the store 9 pm on the dot. The pharmacy gate was closed and I asked to get prescription, the store manager was counting out the register, and the guy at the pharmacy said "sorry we are close." I looked at my phone and told them "it is 9:01. I called and spoke to you and told you I was coming. You knew I was coming." I begged and asked and explained I NEEDED the prescription. The pharmacy associates rushed out the store while I try to talk to the manager.
The manager said the pharmacy is separate from the store and out of her control. She did nothing to try to help. This is my local CVS, and I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I've been shopping here 10+ years. This was ridiculous. They practically closed the department before 9 pm knowing that I was on my way. They should have told me not to come on the phone. Instead they told me I should come and try. I am highly disappointed and deeply frustrated. REFERENCE to CVS at 132 Bronx River Rd, Yonkers, NY!!

I dropped off a prescription on Friday and since they were out of the product they couldn't have it filled til Monday. I probably should of said never mind at that point and went over to Walgreens but I didn't. It wasn't urgent I had the medication that day. Plus, they needed to call my doctor for more information. Monday afternoon I received a call from my doctor who said they called the pharmacy and was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. She asked if I could contact the pharmacy and have them give her a call. I called the pharmacy, waited on hold for nearly 10 minutes and finally someone got on the phone. I explained the situation and told her what my doctor had said (in a nice treat people the way you want to be treated kind of way) and in a sarcastic manner she replied, "Well we're busy."
I then shrugged off her rudeness and told her I'd have my doctor just leave her a message. But seriously? So on busy days you guys hang up on customers and doctors? And you have the audacity to have an attitude about it when you're confronted? I worked for CVS many years ago and crappy customer service wasn't part of our business practices. I guess quality of services have changed. Don't be surprised if you lose another customer.

I have chronic pain from arthritis, degenerative disc disease from my neck to my broken off tailbone. Also shoulder pain, knee pain and pain from previous spinal fusion and bone graph that has degenerated further over the years. Carpal tunnel, digestive issues due to bleeding ulcers that I almost died from and had to have my stomach removed and several other abdominal surgeries. I had major neck surgery three weeks ago. My Husband picked up my script from the surgeon's office and took it to CVS and they wouldn't fill it. It was dated for today but the pharmacist said it was two days early. I tried to explain that my Dr was aware of that and that it was because my last script was cut down from one every four hours to one every six hours but I called my Dr after trying to go six hours and was in so much pain that the next pill didn't even help at all.
I let my Dr's office know I was taking the pain meds every four hours, which I did for five days than to five hours and then six hours. That is why they wrote the script for today. I'd like to mention also that due to having no stomach I only absorb about 40% to 50% of what I take orally. The pharmacist still said no. I was in pain management but they tried several extended release meds on me but they don't work for me again due to not having a stomach. They told me I needed to see a surgeon. When the surgeon releases me from his care I will be going to the pain management that is in with his group. I was told not to stop pain meds abruptly. I just don't understand because CVS corporate says they can fill a couple days early but it's up to the pharmacist. They also tried to refuse to fill my script the day after my surgery on a Saturday cause they didn't think the script looked right then lied about trying to reach the Dr on call.
Once he called them then the didn't have enough to fill the script. They would give me the small amount they had but then that would mean I'd have to forfeit the remainder of my script and they wouldn't fill a new one from the surgeon on Monday. I have never complained in all the years my family has been going there even though they've made mistakes on dosages, lost scripts, miscounted, overcharged because insurance wasn't billed. I just don't understand why they would want me to suffer. I do have to say they do have one tech who has been there for years and he is wonderful always fixes everyone else's mistakes, calls the Dr or insurance company to help you. I honestly think he's the only one who cares about the customers.

Then I contacted the pharmacist and she acknowledged the error. I told her I needed my eye drops and to ensure that I had no problem, I was provided a new prescription. The pharmacist refused to fill the prescription and promised to call me back. It's been 2 hours now and no call back.
I now have had 20 times the amount of ingredient that as a side effect increases intraocular pressure and increases my risk for glaucoma. Worst of all, my insurance won't pay for it because they have already paid for the same medication in a different form. Tried calling their Customer Relations Number - that was a mistake. I looked up my license online and assured them it was current, up to date, with no violations on my record. The pharmacist, sounding uncomfortable, said ok, she would correct the mistake. Today, I called in a prescription for a controlled substance for another client (this morning at 10:50). When client went to pick it up at 5:45pm, they were told I needed to update my DEA license, the one they have is out of date. I called them immediately to update my license, but they didn't accept that my current license is good until 2019 and would not fill the prescription until they get word from the DEA that my license is good.
I offered to send a copy of my license but they still needed to get the ok from the DEA. So my client's dog has to suffer until tomorrow because it is Sunday, now after 6 and no other pharmacies are open. The CVS purchase of Target pharmacy has been extremely sloppy and I am now recommending my clients no longer fill at CVS Pharmacy. I just changed pharmacies because I just could not take it any longer! I live one block away from a CVS pharmacy and went there just out of convenience. Now have changed pharmacies to stay alive!!! CVS keeps trying to kill me. I used their online ordering so that there would be no mistakes in the order because when you give it verbally to them, when it's wrong they say it's your fault. Unfortunately CVS is not able to follow written orders like 1, 2, 3 or a, b, c, never mind a verbal order.
Time after time it's wrong! Last blunder was giving me an old blood thinner I use to take along with another blood thinner I am now taking. Doctor said I would bleed out - do not take together, it was not on my online order list I gave them to fill!! And I learned to print out order confirmation lists after each order. They said in reply they give both to many people together. I am not many people!! Doctor said I would die!! Fortunately I watch my monthly orders closely because I could have taken both it out of habit. I went there for a flu shot and they asked if I had a pneumonia shot lately.
Told them it is not needed for another 2 years. Well they told me that a new shot ** just came out. "You get it now and you will never need another pneumonia shot again." They told me they can give me both together, so I filed out the shot survey list for health questions and they gave me the shots. Next morning in the energy room they told me in my health condition I should have never been given both shots together. Guess you fill out the survey but they don't read it. I am sure that their employees are told to ask the customer about the shots and sell as many as they can or get a bonus for sales.
Because I don't feel like typing for an hour, I will not go into all the other issues but beware to those who get the online survey that comes in your email rating the service you just received from the CVS pharmacy you were just at because when you have a problem with them or the service you received, the survey goes right back to the persons you had the problems with to resolve the issue. A little like when you have a problem with a court room judge, they have the final say - the person with the issue is wrong, the judge is never wrong, you lose!!! I am sure that they document your issues with them in case of court procedures. I might be documented as a chronic complainer who knows!!

I suffer from chronic pain & have for 15+ years. When it comes to pain meds, I experienced nothing but anxiety & stress from CVS. You can only fill the rx on the exact day you filled it the month before. Ok, well the medicine is usually not in stock. I'm always told "We have an order coming in a day or so, but we have no idea what will be in the shipment" and "We put in an order for it multiple times, but only receive so much." Seriously? How insane is that?! I have been a loyal customer for years and now I'm going to have to do without my med for a few days? Anyone who has ever gone through withdraws knows how horrible they can be. I am getting anxious because I can't go without it. Their customer service is worse than some fast food places I've been to.
To add more anxiety, they don't have time to call other CVS stores & they don't have the same hours. Now I have to go on a scavenger hunt to different pharmacies to find my pain med! I can't believe I did this for years! Also, if you leave them a paper script & say "I'll pick it up tomorrow" then you have to call them the next day & tell them to fill it! Absolutely ridiculous! This CVS was too convenient, only a mile from my house. They have even sent me home with medicine that was supposed to be for a certain milligram & was given a higher milligram. You're not supposed to return meds after leaving the store, but you better believe they took this one back. I should have just sued them for all the pain & suffering they've put me through over the years!
I'm now at a different pharmacy that I'm very happy with. They always have all my meds in stock & will gladly call other stores if needed. They carry certain meds all the time when they see enough people are on them (very smart). I was shocked at the great service I was given. I have never had any of the problems I had with CVS & will never set foot in a CVS again (not even to buy a bottle of water!). I was upset when I heard they merged with Target pharmacy. To preface this review; I have been using this CVS Pharmacy for years without incident. The line wait times varied anywhere from 2-3 minutes in slower times and 20-25 minutes around peak times. I had never had any major complaints and for the most part observed satisfactory customer service not just with myself but with others as well. Although they service many consumers, they tried to personalize each experience with each customer and I value that. Today that all changed.
My 6 year old son has asthma and was issued his ** inhaler by CVS. It is his "rescue" inhaler in case of emergency and sudden attack. He takes other inhalers/controller medications daily and the ** only as needed. The first ** inhaler he was issued from CVS (which should have had 200 metered inhalations) stopped working several months after we got it with roughly 120 metered inhalations left. I threw it away and immediately called my son's pediatrician who issued another prescription that same day. She also told me that if this happens again; I am not to throw away the defective inhaler and get a new prescription, but bring the defective inhaler back to the CVS Pharmacy from where it was issued and have them re-issue me a new, non-defective inhaler.
When I picked up the new ** later that day, I explained to the pharmacist what had happened with the original inhaler and the pharmacist reiterated that yes; my son's Pediatrician was correct and I was to bring the defective inhaler back so they could exchange it with a working inhaler at no cost to me. As the weather has been getting colder with the transition from summer into fall well under way; my son has very recently had the uncontrollable 'asthma cough'. I gave him his rescue inhaler (that we have had for 5 months now) which still had roughly 110 metered inhalations left. We again experienced the same problem: It did not work. I did everything I could to clean out the mouthpiece as the instructions directed but to no avail.
I took the inhaler to my son's CVS to have it exchanged and was told by their pharmacist that they would not replace it with a working inhaler. To quote the Pharmacist directly, "It was not like other medication in pill form where the incorrect number of pills were under-administered (although CVS had given us the inhaler that says 200 metered inhalations on the box and it only administered around 90). A he would have to talk to her manager the next day at the earliest to see if they could replace it but that I would have to contact the manufacturer directly regarding a replacement."
I explained about how I was told by my son's Dr. and their own CVS Pharmacist on a previous occasion that this is what I was told was the proper procedure, and she flat out refused to replace the inhaler. Instead she brushed me off saying that their policy changes all the time without providing me a written copy of their policy with which to verify. She said she could call me back the next day after she spoke with her manager but the only way my son was getting his ** the same day was to have his doctor issue a new prescription. I was beside myself.
Realizing this was a waste of time and getting my son's asthma under control was time sensitive and the immediate priority; I immediately called my son's doctor while still at the counter. The office was close by so I drove there while still on hold. I walked in and explained everything to the receptionist who within less than 5 minutes had the on-call Physician issue and immediately send over the new prescription to the CVS Pharmacy directly and she verified their receipt of the new prescription. She also made an appointment for my son to see his Primary Care Physician first thing the next morning. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.
I drove straight back to the CVS Pharmacy and it was the first time I have not had to wait in line and could walk directly up to the pick-up counter. The same tech. and pharmacist were working and I told the tech. I was there to pick up the new prescription. She said she wasn't sure if they had received it yet. I told her that the delivery had verified before I left the doctor's office that; yes, they had received it. She checked her system and said, "oh yes now I see it; it is being processed. It will take about 5 minutes to process." I told her that was fine and that I would wait- I did not move from the counter; instead I was researching the over 3,000 complaints filed against CVS on this website alone. It was clear she was not sure what to do.
Less than 2 minutes later I had the new inhaler in my hands. She apologized dismissively and I told her thank you but that my son's doctor's office confirmed that it was illegal for them to not have issued a replacement inhaler according to the Drug Enforcement Agency and that I still expected to be contacted the next day by the manager.
Needless to say I will be looking into case law regarding this issue and expect a meeting or at the very least a phone call from the manager of this CVS tomorrow to discuss/resolve this issue. Should they not speak/meet with me; I will be contacting my attorney regarding their willful negligence, child endangerment and damages. Will keep you all posted.

She said that the per ounce cost on every one of the shelf labels throughout the store were showing "her cost" (meaning CVS). Very incompetent supervisor, complete waste of my time and the three people I was with. My advice, stay away from CVS in Cornwall NY and if you really need something, double check the price on the shelf versus what you are charged.

I am sitting in CVS right now actually, have been waiting over an hour for a prescription that was called in yesterday Afternoon. I was told they needed to verify the medication and what not so I told them I'd wait since my doctor opens at 9 am. I've been listening to the pharmacists talk nonstop garbage about both me and my doctor. I walked up to the counter and one of the women snapped at me "we're working on it."
I wish our town wasn't so small and I could get all of my medications at Family Pharmacy instead. In the end, I couldn't get my medicine because the pharmacist that kept flapping her gums didn't even fax over a prior authorization, they just expected me to pay out of pocket and not through my insurance. So now I have to wait longer with a continuous migraine to get my medication. THANK YOU CVS.

Time and time again they screw up. I know this and I usually say don't worry I'll pick it up later because I have enough sense to know they never do what they promise. I take vitamin D2, one 50,000 IU tablet a week. I was sent to a rheumatologist because my fibromyalgia was worse, and she prescribed 2 tablets a week and sent over a prescription. They told me it was too early to fill. I said, different doctor, different dose, and they were supposed to call insurance to explain this. I went 5 times to pick this up, and it is out of my way. I finally called the insurance company myself, on the 12th day, a Friday, and they called the pharmacy with approval and set it for pickup Monday. At 9:35 am on Monday I got a text saying it was ready for pickup.
I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes, waiting my turn, and when it was my turn, they told me I had not picked it up within 14 days so it went back on the shelf. They would fill it right then but I needed to "pull ahead and sit in line again for the prescription". I told them, "No, I waited my turn in line already. I am due my customer service now, so fill it quickly." They threatened to call a tow truck. I told them, "Go ahead. By the time they get here it will be filled and I will be gone." Then they threatened to call the police. I said, "Ok, fine," put my car in park and turned off the key.
Then the pharmacist came over, asked me nicely if I would drive around and either come inside or go through line again, that he was sorry for the mix-up and would do the prescription right then. I said, "Sure," and went around to the front and picked it up. Then I talked with the store manager and asked to see the customer policy that requires a person to pull ahead and allows other customers to be served ahead of the person they screwed up on. All they really needed to do was apologize for the mix-up and ask me to come inside. Instead, they threatened me with towing and police action. FYI my medicine for GERD is $583 for a 3-month supply, they won't let me get 1 month, and I went to a Canadian pharmacy in town and got a 90-day supply delivered for $249. CVS is one of the most expensive pharmacies, and I hate that my insurance company chose them to service me.

My job requires me to use CVS pharmacy. There many times there are issues with CVS filling my prescriptions. Reason one: the doctor has not contacted us. Lie because when they said that I called the doctor office and the pharmacy never contacted them. Reason two: you need to have a new script sent in when in fact I still have refills on the old script. Reason three: you are called by their system that your prescription is ready to be picked up but when you get there you told it not ready and will not be for another hour. Reason four: they don't know how to read doctor prescription. When it say 90 day supply of 3 tablets a day which means 90 x 3 = 270 but they gave me 90 tablets and I had to point out to them the difference. I at point where even if job requires me to use CVS I am going take my business to another pharmacy.

This has been going on for years then I return on the second visit and I only get one prescription, and the next day I have to go back and do the same thing for the second prescription. And the cycle repeats itself! I have been there every day this week and I'm completely fed up! It's a nightmare as I'm suffering with back problems. Plus it is a gross inefficiency of my time. The prescriptions were supposed to be on ready fill and that doesn't happen. I am also supposed to get a telephone call when they are ready, and that also never happens. Our 2 privately own pharmacies in Powhatan, VA were bought out by CVS about a month ago. I have never seen such horrible service and ability to refill prescriptions in my life. They actually lie which I find totally appalling. My boyfriend runs upwards of $70,000 in pharmaceutical costs thru the pharmacy a year. Within 2 weeks we had pulled everything from CVS and taken to a local pharmacy in Amelia Courthouse, VA. It's a shame that a large chain pharmacy can still stay in business as inept as they are.
By the end of our 2 weeks, they had said they never received refills, were waiting for drugs to arrive etc. They even ordered a drug called ** that is $5,000 a month through another pharmacy in another town and we had to drive there to get it. I work right next to the CVS on Academy Road and I am recommending to all my customers who are also angry to pull their prescriptions and take them to the Walmart in Powhatan, or the next closest pharmacy. How they can boldly lie to cover up their mistakes, blame everyone else still infuriates me. I honestly hope they do not succeed and Powhatan can be an example of a community pulling together to finally say no to big corporate takeovers.

Firstly let me start by saying that I am getting DISTURBED by the fact that this pharmacy just doesn't care about consumers or the service. It is as if they WANT to go bankrupt. Listen CVS, nobody in their RIGHT MIND is going to wait another 5-7 days to fill a prescription when the next pharmacy over (your buds at Rite Aid or Walgreens) is going to be willing to fill that ** THE SAME DAY and at the very worst THE NEXT DAY. So tired of having to waste MY TIME and my Physician's Time having to call and tell my doctor to change the pharmacy I'm sending my prescription to because the pharmacy is just so damn slow and so damn apathetic to helping me and they just seem like they don't care.
On top of that the pharmacy staff is always so rude and they have no idea what they're talking about. It's like everyone in the pharmacy staff is sniffing the bottles they are supposed to be filling before they come to work and then they decide they're gonna be rude and unhelpful. WE GET IT... YOU'RE BEING PAID, BUT YOUR CUSTOMERS' TIME IS VALUABLE AND WE CAN'T KEEP WASTING IT ON YOUR UNGRATEFUL **. So sick of this pharmacy. I will never go to another one of these ** again in my life. Rite Aid, Walgreens, or Mom and Pops it is, thanks for the learning experience. :D

Today, Thursday, August 25, 2016 I visited CVS on Ryan Rd., Marlboro. The purpose of this visit was to pick up a prescription for my husband that was called in by his doctor. While there I decided to use a rain check. The rain check was for Gevalia coffee (Keuric K cup) for $5.99. I was going to purchase 4, however at the pharmacy department the attendant did not know how to process a rain check and asked another attendant for assistance. This attendant stated that I could only purchase 1 because the rain check did not have a number in the quantity area.
I told her that means I could purchase as many as I wanted, she again said no, that is not the policy. As a result I only purchased one and informed the attendant that I would be addressing my concern further. I know this attendant is wrong and she needs to be informed of CVS' policy instead of providing incorrect information to the customer. My policy is if you don't know, you ask a manager. This attendant was not pleasant nor courtesy.
I would strongly recommend that the district manager for this CVS get involved to rectify and clarify rain checks with the miss know it all attendant who refused to allow me to purchase 4 Keuric KCUPS. I am sorry I did not address the above matter with the store manager within. It should be noted this is not my first encounter with this store. Note, the attendant (FARYAL) that rang my order was not the one who stated my rain check is only good for 1 item.

To be clear, I call in advance to order my refills and go with the expectation (confirmed by text) that it will be ready for me. It's usually not. I'm not sure why CVS can't get their act together, but it is extremely irresponsible to be so unreliable when it comes to people's medication. I simply cannot imagine how they have impacted people with serious condition who need their scripts filled on time! I will switch to Walgreens as soon as I am able.

It is always gets screwed up, either they cannot find the script, the medication is out of stock or they don't have that particular medication and will have to order it, or their favorite excuse is "the Doctor will not return our calls."
They either hire the dumbest, rudest people they can find or they send them to a special training session to teach them how to be rude and treat every customer like dirt. I have made at least 20 complaints to the corporate offices and they too are as rude as they can possibly be and don't care if they help a customer, and recently I had one of their camel jockey pharmacists tell me they are running a business not a day care for old people. I'm so sick dealing with CVS being out of stock on my medication. This happens every fricken month and since they make me wait exactly 30 days before they can fill it I am screwed while waiting for them to receive it. I dropped the script off for my ** on 8/15 (the do not fill date was the same) but they said they couldn't fill it until 8/20 because it's too early (the 20th is day 30). I told them that they usually don't have enough to fill the script and can they please make it filled on the 20th which they said it shouldn't be a problem.
Well I called today to see if it's ready and of course they don't have enough but they should be receiving more on Wednesday the 24th. I of course almost lost it over the phone and they said they could give me what they had on hand (15 out of 60 pills) but I would need to get another script for the remaining. This isn't the first CVS to screw me over and I am sick of it. I am sure they will blame it on the DEA but I am not filling a damn pain pill. Without the medication I can't stay away and now I get to call in sick for 3 days while I wait for the medication.

CVS is a horrible pharmacy with horrible employees! I cannot believe how rude they are. Recently the Target Pharmacy located in Clovis at Sierra Vista Mall recently switched over to a CVS pharmacy. I've been going to this Target pharmacy for years. Always with the same prescriptions and with the same doctor, nothing had changed. The Target pharmacy was always fast and friendly service.
Almost instantly when they switched to CVS it became a nightmare. I recently went on a Thursday afternoon to have my usual prescription filled. The same people I had been doing business with for years, instantly became rude and disrespectful when they switched to CVS. The clerk, Amanda, took a look at the script, and instantly said "Oh we can't fill this until Monday, we are out of stock!" I said, "Really? 5 days from now?" I've never heard of this problem before. "Should I go somewhere else?" She said "No, you are already in our system, so you will need to have it filled here". I thought that was very strange, and against my better judgment decided to leave the script there, only because I had been going there for years and they always had good customer service and were friendly. She said to call back on the weekend to see if it was filled early, but otherwise she would text me. I then left the store.
That same night a few hours later received a reminder text that they were out of stock. Ya thanks, I gathered that already. A few days later on Sunday I called back as was suggested and spoke with the same clerk. She said "No! I told you Monday right? Why are you calling?" I said, "Well you told me to call?" She replied with call back Monday! I then returned the call on Monday, same clerk, same attitude, she abruptly said, "Nope, not yet! Still out of stock, it should be Tuesday or Wednesday!" "Wait, what? I dropped this off last Thursday and now you are saying Tue or Wed?" She then became defensive, and said, "I told you on Thursday it would be 5 days! It was your decision to drop it off!" I just thought she was having a bad day and let it go.
I then called back the next day on Tuesday and she became extremely rude and even more defensive. She stated, "Why do you keep calling? Now it's going to be Friday!" Ok, enough was enough, I had it. I said, "Excuse me, but I've been trying to get this filled last Thursday." She then went into a long and very loud speech about how they were out of stock, there was a problem with the ordering number and it had to be sent back, that there was a 48-72 hr hold on all meds, that I continued to call them when I was told not to. I said, "Excuse me, but you just gave me 4 or 5 different reasons than just being "out of stock", I want to pick up my hand written scripts and take them elsewhere." She said, "I couldn't do that because the order was already processed." I said, "Well it's still out of stock and nothing has been processed", she then started into another speech about how difficult I was being with her.
I said, "Ok, well I'm going to call my doctor's office about this and hung up." I then called my primary care physician and they could not believe what I was telling them. My doctor's office then called CVS and stated to release the paper scripts back to me if that's what I wanted, that those scripts were legally mine since they had not been filled yet and it was my right to take them elsewhere. My doctor's office then confirmed with me that I could pick them up.
The very next morning I then returned to CVS, at this point almost a week after I originally dropped off the script to be filled. They then asked what I was doing there. I said "I'm here to pick up my paper script and take elsewhere." The clerk responded with "Oh, I thought you already picked those up?" I said no. She then found them 10 seconds later and turned them over to me. I was holding my tongue since I didn't want to get into an argument. As I was walking away, she made one last sarcastic comment of, "We will let you know when you can come back". I didn't even respond. Just thought to myself it will be a cold day in hell before CVS sees me again.
I then went to Walgreens down the street, and had my prescription filled in less than 20 minutes! What a nightmare and for no reason! CVS are bullies, they are rude, they lie to you, and all for no reason. What are they trying to accomplish? Are these failed doctors or nurses that dropped out of med school and now have chip on their shoulder? Is it the business motto of CVS to harass people? And these are people I had been a customer with for years, that all instantly changed when they became CVS employees. Just disgusting. And I was just shocked to go on this review site and read through the hundreds of complaints with the exact same issues.
Basically the moral of the story is that you are in control of your health care and your medicine, not some pharmacy that wants to bully people for no reason. Go to Walgreens! Boycott CVS! I know I'm never going to utilize them again. Almost a week of harassment for no reason at all. I will be filing more formal complaints as I work in the Social Work field and know how to follow up and direct my complaints. This is just not right to be treated like this by anyone. And this is the nice version of events. If I went into complete detail then my story would be twice as long! Just remember to anyone reading this, you are in charge! Not them. Don't take no for an answer. You are in charge of your health. Not some flunky behind a counter that likes to demean people for no reason just for cheap thrills I guess.

My dog is diabetic. For the last year I have been filling his prescription at Walmart but because I had renewed the prescription and needed it quickly I opted to go to the CVS in my neighborhood which is where my husband's and my prescriptions have to be to be covered by insurance. For EXACTLY the same dosage -- same brand same everything -- I paid more than 5 TIMES more at CVS. At Walmart in Overland Park Kansas I pay $28 for one vial of 100 units of ** at the CVS at 75th and Wornall Road in Kansas City I paid $152.49. In what world is this OK to treat uninsured people like this. I am lucky, I have insurance for myself and my husband but how can this be allowed and how can this be legal.
Unfortunately my husband picked this up and paid for it, even though it was unopened they would not take it back. I understand that. But I used to shop at CVS all of the time and, other than my prescriptions which to be filled at CVS to be covered by my insurance, I will not shop there and I will tell anyone who will listen that this is so very unfair. I see a heart in their logo but not in their practices. I am truly disappointed and appalled.

It was 3 weeks before I received the medication. They told me multiple times that they would call me back and never did, every step that occurred was at my initiative to call them back and push the issue.
Doctor increased the dosage of the same self injectable medication. I called CVS Specialty Pharmacy to verify they received the updated prescription and they told me they did not. I pushed them on the issue and after being on hold a while, they came back and said they had the updated prescription and they had received it 5 days earlier, but it had not been processed yet. I asked to cancel the upcoming delivery of the old dosage, which they confirmed that they did. The next day, I received a delivery of the old dosage. Completely unacceptable way to run a business.

I was given the 800 number to contact cvs on re-issue of the earned cash to spend. after speaking to the first person who only wanted to read me the policy which is a waste of my time, to getting the supervisor who said he is not able to re add the money to my rewards acct but could give me a percentage off which would not even be compensable when the percentage coupons do not work for sale items but my rewards cash does.
So I asked for corporate number and spoke to Ann who then still basically just apologized and said too bad for you to lose your money, that is our policy and we can't do anything, Really CVS... what very poor customer service you have, all you get is an apology. I went to the States with my family about 2 weeks ago. We went to the CVS located opposite to the Grove/the Farmers market in Los Angeles, California at approximately 11:00PM on 2nd August 2016. During our time shopping, my sister had a stomachache, so my sister and my mother went to the toilet. My sister is very careless and she, unfortunately, left her bag in the toilet. After they came out, they didn't realize until we left the CVS, which was approximately 12:00AM-12:20AM. Of course, like normal people would, we went back to see if the bag was still there.
When we arrived to the CVS, the staff didn't really care about the bag when we told them we lost a bag with a lot of valuables in it. They didn't even really care about us until we told them there is a gold iPhone 6S inside and also a camera. The staff, obviously, got my email and also my name, and they said they'd email me if they found anything. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no answer from them. We were desperate for find the things, so we went to the Police Department to report theft.
On our last day in Cali, we went back to the exact same CVS to ask the news. The manager came out to talk to us, but his manner was SO CRAPPY that it made us feel like wed never find our bag. It was also CLEARLY WRITTEN on his face that he doesn't give a ** about us and he just told us that the police would have to come and look at the cameras in order for them to investigate. Both the manager and the 2 staffs that helped us that night told us there is no security camera at the back door which leads to the toilet, but there was obviously a sign saying recording in progress.
I wrote this passage not just because I want to spread the word and see if any good man or woman has seen the bag that particular night and have any other news, but I want to tell the CVS staff that they really need to improve their ** manner. I think that the staff there ruins everything, our mood and our impressions on CVS. I'm terribly disappointed in the staffs manner and I'd really like it if they could change their smiles and encouragements up a bit and actually be in service.
I'm also stating that CVS doesn't give a ** about theft in their stores, since when we reported it to them, they didn't even care or do anything. Also, the signs there are conflicting. If there are really no cameras, then ok, get that damn sign down, but if there are, I have proof that the CVS staff and the manager is lying, please change your behaviours. The bag is a tote bag from blue navy, and it is beige with 3 cactus prints on it. Inside the bag there are a lot of valuables - a gold iPhone, a camera and much more. It is really important to us.

It is shameful how CVS and many other pharmacies act towards its pain patients these days. While I appreciate and understand that they have to abide by certain regulations, they do not need to treat people so poorly when they truly depend on a medication to have a quality of life. Please spare me with the "facts" that OTC meds are just as effective because they are not. They make you feel like a criminal every time you order/pick up the medication, and it really does not help anyone's cause. They need to remind and teach their staff to still have compassion for all their patients, while still closely monitoring output, which I know is needed as well and understand.
I only take a very mild painkiller now, mainly because the previous one that was a higher grade is no longer available for refills. So, not only do I now have to live with more pain because the only RX that gave me the best quality of life is now nearly impossible to get, but I still feel like I am doing something wrong when I pick up the newer, less effective pain medicine. I also want to say thanks to the idiots who illegally wrote and obtained rx's to sell to the masses (the now schedule II meds that propelled this change to happen).
You have inconvenienced AND ruined many lives in the process. Yet, these idiots are still all fine because they are selling or getting their meds off the street, something which legitimate pain patients (usually) can't and won't do. The changes to the system are not going to help addicts at all, they will continue getting their fix illegally while people in ACTUAL pain will continue to suffer and feel demeaned by pharmacies like CVS across the nation, many of which should have monitored this problem better to begin with and contributed directly to the problem all pain patients are facing today. Please remember there are still good people who need these types of medication to live a normal life, and to treat them like human beings, not like criminals.

Often my prescriptions have to be submitted... and resubmitted several times. Staff usually says the dr office has not sent over information, has not answered calls, etc. It happens too often for me to blame the dr office; especially as these are for maintenance meds and some simple prescriptions like antibiotics. There always seems to be some sort of issue. Clearly, they want you to walk around while waiting and buy "a few extra things". I refuse to. The cvs price is Higher for prescriptions and for regular merchandise.
At this point I've missed medication because cvs cannot get its act together to actually fill prescriptions. Then they have the nerve to call me and ask if I want to refill one of my common prescriptions. My answer has become NO, simply because I cannot trust them to fill, much less accurately fill, any prescription for me or my family. I have no positives concerning this company and can hardly wait to get far, far away from them.

The only response we received was a cold uncaring attitude telling us to call an 800 number for complaints because they were unable to help us. They made it clear it was not their responsibility to track such and would not offer assistance to do so. No apologies, no remorse, just a bad attitude. Thanks CVS for losing irreplaceable family memories and not having the common courtesy to help a customer locate such. Horrible customer service!

I went to CVS on The Alameda in San Jose, CA recently and this is not first time I was treated so poorly in this particular store. I had a couple items I was returning without receipt. They were gifts. I explained I had gotten two of these items. Only needed one of them but needed other things. Could I just do even exchange. This woman named Diane comes up behind the sales lady helping me and says rudely "oh no receipt. We can't do a return without a receipt unless it's lowest selling price you take on each item." The one item was I believe 30.00 plus dollars and I had a couple other small makeup items I had been not so sure had caused a breakout on my skin and a bad rash as well. I explained these items were duplicates and things I had a reaction to so she only accepted the most costly item for pedicures and gave me half the amount.
The person who got me the gift paid for it and I don't see that they have gone on sale. They just recently came out so that was wrong. This woman named Diane said this is store policy on no receipt returns. I think it is so wrong for a store to give half value on a gift. They give you half value so you lose out on a same price gift. Also I get my prescriptions from another CVS inside a local Target store who says to ask the pharmacy. One of the CVS stores to credit me the CVS 5.00 coupon for every ten or eleven prescriptions filled. I asked the store pharmacy about it. They say "call customer service". Just about every CVS has had really rude store employees it seems but this Diane at The Alameda store is awful. She humiliates you making you feel like she thinks you are a thief. The woman helping me at first who was very nice before Diane butted in and gave complete attitude.
If this is really how CVS wants to treat every long time legitimate just no receipt customers then I think I'm going to make it public knowledge that this is how it is. I spend tons of money at CVS on multitude of hygiene prescriptions, cleaning products, cat food and cat litter, greeting cards, etc. Wake up CVS. Stop treating all of us as criminals cause we are not. If you are so worried about theft hire more security. Why should legitimate customers get half value on a gift. You're too greedy. I'm hoping Dale the manager I left voice mail for regarding this incident will read this and after couple weeks past finally address this before they lose a good customer.

I tried filling my prescription for pain medication yesterday and was told they won't fill it and I needed to go to a pain clinic. Apparently, they know better than my doctor. They have no idea why I take/need them, and, frankly, it is none of their business! But they know I need to go to a pain clinic and shouldn't be taking pain medicine... The audacity this company has is appalling. I have been filling this same prescription for the past year and it was never a problem until this past January. Ever since then they claim it isn't in stock and it would take several days to order. Twice I took it somewhere else. Once, when I decided to just wait for it to be ordered, they looked dumbfounded. Funny how it was ready the very next day. They are obviously lying to their customers... the ones they think are junkies.
Well, yesterday was the last straw for me. I deleted my online account. Am sending them back my "care" card with a scathing letter and will never go to another CVS ever again! I spent quite a lot of money there every month between my husband, my three sons, my daughter and me. Never again. I was made to feel like a drug addict and I was humiliated by the way the pharmacist spoke to me. How dare she talk to me like I'm a junkie! After having what was one of the worst conversations I have ever had, I finally gave up and asked if it was only CVS that won't fill pain med prescriptions from a PCP, and she said... "ah... ahh... ahh... ahh... no. It is all pharmacies in the area." Another lie.
I went to Walgreens and had my medicine six minutes later. They were kind and caring and had never heard of such a policy. More importantly, they didn't treat me like a sub-standard human. I was treated with respect and dignity. ALL CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE TREATED THAT WAY! Walgreens, you have gained my business! CVS, go to hell.

I am using the services of CVS located on Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA almost for five years and every month I have a problem filling my prescriptions. This month when I went after midnight to fill my script for **, I was told that there is a new policy: Prescription for controlled substances cannot be filled till 6 a.m. How accurate is this information or pharmacist is just making it up?

I walked to CVS after seeing online the store closes at 11pm on Richmond Ave. Highway 6 in Houston, TX. One cashier agreed to help while the other yelled "We are close. We close at 10." Well fix the information online so people will not after work or school there.

I live in Berlin NJ and I take **. Originally for ** dependence, but now for acute back pain. I've been getting the same dosage for 3 years at this location, every 2 weeks, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to get it filled, I'm told they're out of it, it's on order, and will be in in a couple days. WTF??? Are you kidding me? Why isn't it in stock when you know my name and birthday by heart at this point and know I'm coming in every 2 weeks? Plus, they make up their own rules, I won't get into that, I'd have to write a book. And certain pharmacists think they're God and tell me I can't have it because I'm too early, even though the insurance ok'd it. He or she thinks it's too early, not the insurance or the law. Unbelievable. This country has the absolute WORST, I MEAN WORSE pharmaceutical industry IN THE WORLD! It's a DISGRACE!
