CVS is horrible. They tell me something isn't covered. Another pharmacy says it is. They raided their prices to extremes. I get the scripts cheaper at another pharmacy. I keep telling CVS not to fill my scripts. My doctor sends the scripts to the pharmacy I want to use but CVS hijacks my prescriptions before the other pharmacy gets a chance to fill them. I have to keep calling both pharmacies and telling CVS to back out of the script and to not refill or intercept my scripts. I do NOT want to do business with them. They are trying to take over all prescription refills in the area. Also the people behind the counter are rude. They talk about customers that have left the area of the counter or who were on the phone. Saying things about customers in front of other customers!!! That is very unprofessional. You never talk about the customers in front of the other customers. This is the worst place to do business.

When I bought a medicine from Carson city (Nevada) I asked the cashier there "If I want to return the medicine can I do it anywhere or only here?" She said, "You can do it anywhere in USA as long as you have the receipt." Because I suspected the price which was very high. When I Googled the medicine I found that the price I paid was 8 times the price Googled. I went to CVS store at third and La Brea to return the medicine. There I met the pharmacist and the manager that worked together to block my attempt to return the medicine although I told them that I bought the same medicine from Rite Aid for a price less than 7 times their price. Although she saw my receipt she asked for the same medicine I bought from them 20 dollars more from Nevada.

By the end I was not able to give them back the medicine with thanks to the manager and the pharmacist. Instead of picking the phone and calling that branch to ask them whatever they wanted to make the return easy both worked together to block me. By the end I have had a very bad experience with both guys and I do not recommend that anybody to deal with CVS pharmacies from now and on. (I did not even open their medicine).

I went to the CVS Pharmacy on Garland and Peavy because I was having so many problems with the one in Casa View. I had one prescription to be filled and it was on Saturday July 28th. The tech told me it would be at least an hour because there were only two of them behind the counter. I left and went to run a few errands and returned after forty minutes. It was hot in the car so I went inside to wait. Lo and behold the pharmacy shutters were down and they were closed. I could hear voice behind the shutters so I knocked on the pharmacy door.

The pharmacist came to the door and I told him I was told to come back in an hour and that I needed my medication today. He simply shrugged at me. I repeated that I was told to come back in an hour and that it had only been forty minutes. He said he didn't tell me that. I pointed to the tech who was standing wand watching. She said she did say that but then she paged me. I said I couldn't hear a page in my car. Finally the pharmacist gave me two pills to last the night and told me to come back tomorrow. I talked to the manager and she said they must have forgotten the time. I got no apology from any of these people. CVS seems to hire the most inept, slowest, apathetic, pharmacy staff they can find. This is only the most recent problem I have had with this company, but it is inexcusable.

In light of the recent security breaches, I'm deleting this app. I recently had a very serious err committed by pharmacy staff that resulted in my epileptic husband having a very serious grand mal seizure upon which he hit his head due to improper meds refill. When I contacted CVS, they informed me that "Hey, we make errors it's your job to make sure we have you the proper meds". Bad company with insecure websites and apps.

CVS is the worst pharmacy I've been to. I had a prescription written for me for codeine cough syrup because I have sickle cell and I have extremely painful chest because it's a narcotic. Call my doctor and told them that I was getting too much too early. I was just following doctors orders. Now I cannot get my prescription filled. I am in extreme pain and I do not understand how a pharmacist can make a decision on a person. She does not even know the history of the patient when the doctor has authorized the prescription. Their job is just to feel it not to judge and not to be treating me with disrespect. So I need answers on what I'm supposed to do because I'm still in pain and I cannot get relief because of cvs. Now I'm fine with extending the time for the refill, that's not a problem, but they cannot just cut me off of the medication completely. This is something that I take because I have a serious ailment and blood disease.

She ask to see my insurance and PaceNet cards again and said "I'm sorry." This was after waiting for 1 hour. I ask how much - she said $75 for the one script. Said "Forget it." Had Dr call my other pharmacy and bingo. Got a text to pick up 2 scripts that insurance and PaceNet approved. This is not the first time this CVS in Mt Joy, PA has denied my insurance. Won't be coming back for medical scripts. Worst pharmacy ever had the unfortunate matter to need. I left - have no receipts.

On 8/22/2015, I went to the CVS at 5384 GA Hwy 20 in Covington GA. I always go to this CVS for years, because it's near my house. I always get a refill on one particular medicine. I got it filled in the past. The ladies in the pharmacy always asked for insurance information and I give it to them, no problem. I go this day to pick up my prescription and the men are there, OBI and the Pharmacist. Both of them tell me my medicine is not covered and the cost is over 100.00. I know it's covered. Might not be the name brand, but try generic. They still say it's not covered. I asked them if they had my correct insurance information. "I can give it to you again." They said "We do, but it's not covered according to the Pharmacist and OBI."

I called CIGNA. They said the Generic is covered. I call CVS again. The technician name ** said it was not covered. I asked if I can give him my information, just to make sure. He said I will have to call back in an hour. I did and it was covered. If only they had taken the time the first time I would not have to waste gas and go back. I have to go out of state, so that mean, I'm probably going to run out before I get back. WOW, where is the customer service.

Today I made a call to the CVS pharmacy in Sacramento on Mack Road and the man that I was talking to gave me the most rudest attitude. He was even trying to argue with me over the phone about getting my prescription filled or renewed. All he kept saying was, "You don't have a prescription" repeating himself like 10 times with an attitude like 'so what?' In my head, I was thinking, "Okay, I've heard you say that several times but you don't have to be so rude about it." I asked him what I'm supposed to do to get my prescription refilled and he kept saying the same darn thing. After that I became annoyed and I could feel that he sensed that so he changed his tone and gave me a resolution; only after I asked so many questions and argued for some time. I cannot believe how rude this CVS pharmacy man was!!! I will never go there again!

CVS has a "policy" where if your prescription cannot be filled in full (a refill) and you pay with cash you will be charged FULL PRICE whether it be 1 pill or 30!!! I just found this out when I looked at my previous receipts and noted I paid $12 for 5 pills and $12 for 30 pills. AND... it's gets better. They also have a policy where if they cannot fill the whole refill (because they don't have enough on hand), even if you get 1 pill it counts as a "refill filled"??? These "policies" should be posted in bold print so the consumer is aware. I will never step foot into a CVS again and as a nurse in this community (Naples, FL) I will share my experience with everyone I meet. I will also be reporting this to the BBB and any consumer agencies in this state I can find. I have already emailed the CVS Corporate off, not holding my breath.

CVS in mesa, at Ellsworth and Brown. They have a new pharmacist there. The Dr wrote my prescription for 30 pills, like he does every month. A pharmacist there named John decided that he would only give me 16 pills, yet they had them all, although he put it for a refill for 15. So I take the 16, called for a refill since I never got the 30, and he is refusing to refill. I said "if you check, Dr wrote for 30 pills like he does every month." John said yes, I said "you gave me 16 with a refill for 15, which 1 comes to 31 pills, and 2nd off you don't get to just dictated how many you give a patient, you are suppose to fill according to Dr instruction."

Last month didn't have this problem, what is the problem? Nothing has changed. He still refused. Called corporate, that was pointless. Needless to say taking all my medications out of CVS. Walgreens is awesome, they are pulling that one medication today, and refilling it for me! The others will be to them tomorrow. Unbelievable that a pharmacist thinks he can override a Dr.

I'm not really angry but since rating the experience by stars means the next level up would be 2 stars I couldn't bring myself to give this establishment that good of a rating. I used to love CVS and used to spend a lot of money there. But I like to shop around and support the mom and pop stores in my community. CVS is not the most inexpensive store but it is convenient.

Convenience doesn't outweigh good customer service. I wonder about the direction of this corporation. Do they want to actually sell products? I often have to wait 5 minutes or more for someone to check me out at the register. This is when there's nobody else in line. They act like it's an inconvenience to them to ring up my purchases.

I was peeved tonight when I wanted to smell a perfume I was interested in purchasing. Yes, I did open the packaging but it was not sealed and I was very careful not to damage the packaging. But, if I am going to buy a product for the very nature of it; its scent, I wanted to smell it first. But the store clerk snatched it out of my hand and told me to buy it and if I don't like it to return it. I actually did like it but her rudeness lost my sale. I think CVS is losing touch with reality. They stopped selling cigarettes because they want to be known as a heath facility but their entire sales counter is filled with candy. The first few aisles of their food products are junk food and soda. I just find the propaganda of this store gross and I won't be shopping here again.

CVS is THE worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacists are mean, rude and treat anyone who needs a controlled substance like drug addicts. If the doctor writes you a prescription, then they need to fill it. It's none of their business what my diagnosis is, especially in a room full of strangers. They don't take you to the side. A pharmacist refused to fill my legal Rx (** for a very good reason) because I asked her too many questions. I didn't want to pharmacy hop but my other medication there was $40 plus dollars where at Walmart it was only $4. I asked if I could fill it there. She got mad because I called her too many times and bugged her. She was rude, hurtful and judgmental and I had no recourse. I felt like dirt and was extremely embarrassed. She made me feel like a drug addict and I do NOT abuse my Rxs.

Please, if not for your sake, but for others, take your business elsewhere. One day when you need something, you will be treated badly too. I've never talked to anyone who had a good experience with CVS. They're a monopoly and now Target pharmacists are the same way as CVS bought them too. Too bad, both stores are going to lose about $4000/year from my husband and I alone. Probably Target will lose even more as we buy most of our goods there but not anymore. Walmart, here we come!

If I could give negative stars for CVS, I would. I chose CVS because I was out of my medicine and needed to get my new prescription filled. I went to other big name pharmacies but they were busy. CVS has been nothing but a major headache! The pharmacist got my address wrong even though I told her plainly what city I lived in. Unfortunately, the pharmacist is not a nice person. She always sounds bored and like she's doing me a huge favor. She has the personality of a rock.

I had my medicine on rapid refill so I wouldn't have to bother getting the refills myself. I got four phone calls in one day reminding me my prescriptions were ready. This was on a Tuesday or Wednesday and I couldn't get there until Friday. When I did finally get a chance to get my medicine I had 2 prescriptions ready. One was birth control and the other for my thyroid disease. I know at least 2 of those calls were reminding me about my thyroid medicine. I get there and long story short, the thyroid medicine isn't even filled! They had to fill it while I waited. I lost one of my refills, of course. The prices on their medicine fluctuate. I know it's not my insurance as I talked to them about it. It is a very poorly run pharmacy. I am moving to a new city and I will definitely be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. It astounds me that after all these negative reviews CVS is still in operation.

The pharmacy repeatedly fails to tell you that there is a new prescription on file. Twelve times I was not notified of a medication a dr called in for me. If it happens to be over the counter or not approved by insurance they just ignore it. Today I found out that I was supposed to be taking something that comes both by prescription and over the counter for the past 2 weeks!! My dr called in heavy doses of a steroid for me and included a prescription for a calcium supplement which is very important to take with the medication. The pharmacy just ignored the calcium script and never told me I was supposed to be taking it!!

Since it was sent electronically by the dr I was completely unaware as my dr assumed the pharmacy would do their job! This has happened 11 other times with various medications over the past few years! Not to mention they have repeatedly filled the wrong medication claiming they couldn't read the handwriting.. Once filling something I am allergic to instead of calling the dr to clarify the handwriting (which was completely legible!! I had read it upside down while at the dr!).

If I wasn't aware of the exact name of the medication I was supposed to be taking I would have taken something I am highly allergic to! The incompetence is criminal and near deadly at this pharmacy!!! It is not a patient's job to triple check that the pharmacy gives you the right medication! But I am forced to every time I go there! And when I complain to the manager he just shrugs his shoulders and says "we must have missed that." Not even apologetic! He will be apologizing when he accidentally kills someone because of the carelessness!!

I know this is long but please read it all. When you're done you won't believe this really happened but I swear it did! This happened at the CVS at 19901 Frederick rd, Germantown MD 20876. I have been told that in order to fill my controlled medication at CVS, that I had to be "one of our customers. Sorry but you're not our customer until you transfer ALL your current meds to this store." That's what I was told by the manager there. So yesterday I went thru the trouble to transfer all of my meds to the CVS in Germantown, MD. I went to pick up my e-script meds but had a controlled script that must be written and handed to them.

I handed it to her and she said, again, "I can't fill this because you're not our customer." I told them I transferred everything over and that they had filled the e-script already so... "Doesn't that make me your customer?" "No. Besides today you haven't filled your meds at a CVS since Oct 2014." (It's now July 2015). Infuriated, I called corporate who opened a "case" for me. Took down everything I just said, apologized and said that she would forward this to a manager. I asked "When can I expect a call?" She apologized and said "We only forward it to our manager and she will talk to the store. I'm sorry but, we don't call the customer back because we handle it internally." Double shocked I asked to speak to her manager. She gave me the age old line "Well, they are going to tell you the same thing." I told them to just have a manager call me please.

4 hours later, Ron (wouldn't give me the last initial on his name) called and I told him everything. Before I could finish he said that they give the pharmacy the right to refuse any customers they seem fit. I told him "She didn't refuse, as a matter of fact, she filled the e-script but told me that I can't fill that 'because you're not our customer' even though I paid money to pick up the meds my doc had sent them." He said "Well if she said that you have to get all your meds transferred then I would need to do that." Triple shocked, I said "I just told you that I have done that already." He looked in the computer and said "well, I only see that you picked up medication from us Oct 2014." I told him that "I have transferred them over and they aren't due for another week." He said "ok, well you should be fine next month."

Shocked beyond belief at this man, Mr Ron I can't give you my last names initial. I asked him to call pls. Call the pharmacist and make sure that after I get all meds for this month thru them, will they fill my controlled meds next month? He actually had the nerve to say "I'm sorry but I can't call the pharmacist, you would have to do that." I asked why he couldn't and he said "Its company policy." I said "But you are corporate, correct?" He said, "Yes" and nothing else. So here I am, red in the face but not yelling, cursing, arguing or rude, I asked to speak to his Supervisor... Guess what he said? "I am the highest you can go."

At this point cross-eyed and I ask him "Are you the CEO?" He said "No." I said "Well I need to talk to your boss." He said "there is no one higher than me." I ask again "if you aren't the CEO then you have a boss and I would like to speak to him." He said "Sir, I'm the highest you can go." I said "So you are the highest positioned person but you can't even call the pharmacist and ask her that if I get all meds thru this one store, will they fill my other meds." Again, he said "No sir. Company policy says I can't do that."

Eyes crossed at this point I give up & ask for his name, store, and Title. His reply? "Ron from Corporate office in Rhode Island and my title is Head Pharmacist Consulter." This is the only time I smiled while talking to him. Because his title should mean that he can talk to the pharmacist and call me back and tell me what the outcome is. But, according to him, he CAN'T CALL THE PHARMACIST, and they CAN'T CALL THE CUSTOMER BACK to resolve this issue. Am I crazy here? Or is there something fundamentally wrong with all this? I'm assuming he's not lying... So why would CVS have a complaint department if they won't call the pharmacist and after they handle things "internally" they won't call the customer back? I'm NEVER EVER going to another CVS again in America for the rest of my life!

In July my dog started having seizures again and the vet told me to up his dose and start giving his 1.5 pills twice a day instead of 1 pill twice a day which caused me to run out of pills early. CVS first told me that they couldn't refill it because it was too early so I told them to call the vet and they would confirm the refill and the changes and I confirmed this morning that the pharmacist spoke to the vet and got all the information but they still won't refill his meds and are insisting on sitting on their ** and twirling their thumbs instead of doing their job.

I spoke with my vet and they told me to have them send a request via fax and they would take care of it and all CVS wants to do is know we can't do that. You want to talk about bad customer service. That's fine. They will lose ALL my business. I'll have my prescriptions filled at Costco instead and I will never ever buy anything else there not even over the counter meds or tampons or any other little thing. I won't give them even the tiniest amount of business after this. My dog will have his last pill tomorrow morning and they don't seem to give a ** that if he runs out he will have seizures. This is a medical issue and this is why I have a prescription. Do your ** job people and have some damn customer service skills and take the time to send a fax. It's not rocket science. Clearly they need to hire better people who seem to understand to go above and beyond to take care of their customers.

I am a older white resident of a mainly white community. I went to the pharmacy at 8:45PM to fill 2 prescriptions. The drug store closes at 9:00PM. It takes 10 minutes to fill 2 prescriptions. Normally I have no problem but I was greeted by a black pharm tech that told me "Go away." The boards were already up on the drop off windows and she said, "We be done with this today." I asked why and she had no good reason.

I have been using this pharmacy for years and never encountered this problem before. She then complained to the first black pharmacist I have ever seen in my drug store and he supported her. I found the behavior anti-social and anti-corporate America and told them that I felt they were hurting me because I was white. The team was not doing anything but waiting for the time to pass and I believe if the pharmacist was white I would not be writing this note. I am deeply concerned about the behavior of the black community and I believe that there is retaliation beyond the riots. I think CVS should inform all their employees that closing time is 9:00PM and if those employees refuse service then they should be fired.

My husband arrived on Saturday 5 minutes before they closed (5:55). He was told they were about to close and he would need to come back on Monday. He showed them his bandaged hand -- he had cut his finger off with a hedge trimmer. She refused to serve him. They are a mess. Emory requires their employees to use CVS and it has been a horrible experience. The manager in Peachtree City agreed that they were such a mess that we were better off driving to the next town -- so that is where we have been going for the past 5 months -- and now this. We very much miss Rite Aid where we went for 8 years. My husband is sitting home in pain unnecessarily -- because of a lazy pharmacist. How long does it take to put ten pills in a bottle. Their cameras will show that he was there five minutes before close. Horrible.

Worst company I have ever encountered in my many years. They apparently were created in hell to torture innocent souls. Innumerable phone calls and letters about non-existent problems, no response or irrelevant letters or phone calls about real problems with delivery of essential meds. Impossible to cut back on dose levels of certain prescriptions as advised by my MD without getting lectured about the importance of taking my meds. Who pays for all that wasted postage? Advice: Their computer system is totally screwed up. Order your refills by phone if you can - as I was advised recently by one of their few capable customer service reps. Previous customer service reps spoke as if the problem was now fixed but it never was. Incredible.

Today I went to my regular CVS in Rolling Ghettos, IL, to have my schedule 2 pain medication filled. Once again, another horrible humiliating visit. I take ** for damage in my lumbar area of my back from installing flooring all my life. I have tears in disc L3/L4 and L5/C1. One of the pharm techs said they could fill it tomorrow because my insurance wouldn't cover it till tomorrow. I said I would pay out of pocket because I was out of this medication and missing more than one dose puts me in the ER. The pharm tech goes back to the pharmacist (who wasn't a year over 25) and tells him I will pay cash for it this time. She came back 2 mins later saying they couldn't fill it today because I was early. I explained to her my situation, and told her my Dr. wants it filled today and insisted she call him. She returned with a calendar started telling me I should have medicine left still.

I told her "No" and again asked her to call my prescribing Dr. She returned a 3rd time, this time with a new excuse, "we can't fill this because of how it's written...

By now I'm angry, I took my script from her and went back to my Dr. Office and asked them to re-write the script the way they wanted it written (every 4-5 hrs instead of every 6 hrs). My doctor said that it's written correctly and they should have no problem filling it today... So off I went trying to find a different CVS that didn't have a bus full of excuses not to fill my valid prescription... CVS pharmacy ranks the worst on Customer Service, they treat everyone like ** and have no sense of humanity. I managed to find a CVS that had no problem filling my OG script, about 2 hrs later... Some elderly also feel intimidated by the calls to refill the superscription they might not need. When my wife passed away I got up to answer thinking it could be the doctor. If there was another pharmacy in the area I would go to it. It's no wonder that Consumer Report ranks CVS next to the bottom in customer satisfaction.

This is the worst CVS in your company, although after reading other reviews there are many more. The people who work in the pharmacy - some are actually physically dirty and most all are careless and rude. Anytime I try to get a prescription there will be long lines with no one waiting on people but you see 5 or 6 people milling around behind the counter. My husband is on a number of meds due to myasthenia gravis and other problems.

They never get it right on the first visit. There is always some kind of problem. Since they are now suppose to be able to do 90 day supplies they never can! Don't have enough. My biggest complaint is this - that I found out yesterday from my insurance company. If a med is ordered for 1 month they increase the price by 30%!! They wanted a price of $113.00 for 30 days, but if ordered 90 days is $80.00. This is one of the worst scams I have seen. People are having enough problems trying to pay for their medications. But NO ONE cares about the customer, only the profits. I use mail order Caremark for everything possible and never have a problem. Sometimes you need the medication that day, antibiotics, etc., but I will never order anything at this store again.

I was attending a family reunion in Cabo, San Lucas. I needed my prescription three days before the 31st day when it was ready to be refilled. I was told by CVS but it would be refilled on a Monday which would be the 27th day. When that Monday came they said I'd have to wait until Wednesday. I asked the pharmacist what I needed to do to get it filled, she proceeded to tell me that all I had to do was call my doctor and get an early authorization. Since I've never had an early authorization on any prescriptions since I've been an adult for the last 10+ years, they had no problem doing that for me. But whenever the nurse called the pharmacy she basically told her that she was breaking the law and called her everything but a white woman.

My nurse called me back and basically suggested after this month I switch to a different pharmacy. I called the pharmacy to see when my prescription to be ready and let them know I would be transferring and the pharmacist continue to put me in an uncomfortable situation by her unprofessionalism. She openly criticized my nurse and doctor in front of everybody in the store and basically insinuated I was some kind of drug seeking drug addict. Also, insinuating my doctor was doing the same. I was so appalled that I didn't even realize what was going on until later. I was being attacked on a very personal level by someone that knew nothing about me or my doctor or the nurse.

I can't believe that someone who says they have 30 years of experience being a pharmacist would humiliate someone and also speak in with something that's not there to defend themselves. She was talking to me, someone who has an illness that is going to kill them. I'm in my late 20s and I already had to deal with the fact that I'm dying. Her outright hatred towards me and unsympathetic lack of empathy was disgusting. This is the CVS located in Springfield Missouri on S. Campbell St.

I would recommend any pharmacy besides this one. Not only was my family reunion nearly ruined by her but I was humiliated by her and my condition made to look like a joke in front of complete strangers in the store. Besides the fact that my own this is severe and chronic I feel like she should not be able to judge me or my doctor for what he decides is the proper treatment for me. That's the difference between her and her doctor. She doesn't have a medical license. She fills prescriptions she doesn't write them so I feel like her criticizing me and my doctor for that prescription I get to basically help me dye and comfort was totally uncalled for.

There only 2 handicapped parking spaces for this store. Everyone but the handicapped can have these parking spaces, especially employees' children. The employees pull you to the side and tell you that you offended their child in the parking lot.

This store has no manager. Front end employee screaming at me all thru the store from front end all the way back to pharmacy. This is not the first time I've had problems with this store. Now I would have to wait 5 to 7 days for my account to receive funds. I asked CVS to contact their credit card terminal company so that they could void the transaction. CVS response to that was that couldn't be done either. I am totally devastated by this. Why should I have to pay for someone's incompetence and negligence or because CVS Corp.'s improper training. My son has been using a maintenance medication for 3 years. Our insurance requires the use of CVS mail order service for maintenance medications. So far, each time a new prescription has been issued my son has had to go a few days without the medication because CVS can't seem to smoothly renew a script. As I try to jump through hoops during yet another renewal process, I want to steer those unaware of the incompetency of this company in both local and mail order departments.

My youngest son was taken to the doctor and given two prescriptions, one to be filled on an as-needed basis. When I drove to the local pharmacy, I stated which prescription I needed filled and which was to be placed on hold in case he needed the medicine. After arriving twice with a new promise of when the medication would be ready, I came back a third time only to have the tech hand me the "hold" medicine and she stated the second needed medication would not be available until the following day. I felt she had lied to me and intentionally stalled to wait until the other local pharmacy had closed that day. We drove to the next town. Staff is rude and incompetent. Steer clear.

Horrible drugstore. Went to fill my prescription today. Under our health plan, generic prescriptions cost $4.00. The pharmacists rang it up, took a look at my insurance card, and said my medicine (which I need very badly!) cost $55.00! Now, according to the insurance company, my premium was already paid up for this month. The pharmacists said I was in a grace period, which I know for a fact I'm not! These people are jerks, and will not do anything to help you. They certainly didn't even try doing anything to help me. I will never go to this pharmacy again. The pharmacists on Moog Rd. are much more helpful, and actually care about their patients.

I started to talk to the new manager (he said that his name was **) and he said that their policy is to accept exchanges or returns only for CVS brands (mine was not) and refused to do the exchange. I requested to see the written policy and he showed me a paper on the desk that was indeed the policy but was not referring to the CVS brands only for returns or exchanges. I read loud to him, but he still refused and screamed to get out of the store. I asked for his name and store number to make a complaint (he refused) and I wanted to take the paper with the policy to attach it later on to my complaint. He jumped at me and screamed that he will call the police if I will not leave and pushed me out of the store.

I was afraid that he will really attack me (no other customers were in the store) and I left, without being able to pickup my prescription (he will not allow me, even if I explained that I needed badly). I called their customer relations number and the person on the phone advised me to go to another store. How is this possible? It was evening, I was coming from work and going home to take care of my 90 years old mother, and no other CVS at a walking distance and I needed badly my medication! How is this possible? I go to that store from when it opened and I never had a problem. Everybody was nice and helpful. This is a young new manager, rude and violent, and able to talk to customer this way... This is a follow up on the prescription that CVS sent which was not ordered. After two weeks of 9 phone calls a day from CVS, which I refused to answer because they had already hung up on me when I tried to resolve the situation. I was told they could not under the law take back the prescription even if I had not ordered it.

Another week of calls from Advancepcs a subsidiary of CVS, calls 9AM-9PM every day, I finally wrote another letter explaining the problem and the FTC law that if a company sends a product to your home that you did not order then you can send it back or keep it and not pay for it.

I had offered to send it back and had gone more than halfway to resolving the problem when I got a plastic sack postage paid for sending back the product! They could have saved themselves thousands of dollars if they had chosen not to harass me with all those phone call and just sent the bag and taken care of the problem for the cost of postage, a letter and a mail sack.

So you can win if you will persevere and keep your cool. Just do not talk on the phone to them because they record every call and can use that to trick you, always do business with them in writing and keep copies of all correspondence.

    Original Review: June 8, 2015

I sent in my form with two new prescriptions, one that I wanted filled now and one that was to be refilled at a later date. I only marked the prescription on the form for the one I wanted and sent payment for that one. They filled both claiming that they just thought that I had forgotten to fill in the oval on the other one. They made the decision without contacting me. When I told the customer representative on the phone she contacted the filling Pharmacist helper. She admitted on the phone that I had not filled in the oval for the second prescription nor sent the money for the second prescription, but decided that I really wanted the refill. Then she said I should have also sent a note to say what I was doing. I told her I figured by filling in the form for one prescription and sending only enough to pay for one prescription they would understand that I did not want the second prescription filled right now.

This is not the first time that this mail order place has done this to me. Last time they had my credit card and after that I have never paid with a credit card at CVS/Caremark again.. Then the representative said I should just pay for it. I said no, since I have 3 1/2 months of medication now and there was to be some testing in a month and the prescription may change. I did not want to have to throw away 6 months worth of medication instead of 3 months. She left the phone again and then came and told me that they would be coming after me in about 3 months time if I did not pay for this mistake and then in mid-sentence, she hung up me. I do not have bad credit, and told her before she hung up on me, leaving me with a prescription I did not order and now a bill that I did not ask for.

After 11 or so years of decent service, tonight I encountered a new pharmacist that refuse to fill my script, the same script that I have been filling at CVS for years. The pharmacist was new, so he likely didn't recognize me as frequent customer, but his manner was dismissive, bordering on arrogant. True, I had just started my vacation, and may have been dressed casually after mowing the lawn, but my script was valid and should have been filled. Fortunately, there was a Walgreens across the street with a courteous pharmacist, who filled my script in 15 minutes.

I wasn't a regular customer of Walgreens, but that will change. If CVS wishes to stay competitive and avoid potential discrimination lawsuits, they need to screen, or educate their employees to not always judge a book by its cover. Most of their suburban customers are homeowners and have to perform yard work from time to time, which may make them sweaty and a little dirty. That's no reason to refuse service to such customers; it just encourages these customers to find a different pharmacy staffed with better employees.

I looked at the label on my bottle, and it did NOT match the number on the pills. I hadn't been feeling well since I took those pills (nightmares, drugged feeling, etc). So I took the bottle back to the pharmacy. After doing some research myself, I found out the yellow pills were actually .5 mg, as opposed to the .25 I usually get.

The pharmacist brought over a bottle to me to show me that they were actually .25. He said it was probably a different manufacturer. Nevertheless, he switched the pills to the ones I'm used to. I took one last night. Today, I finally feel normal. I looked it up again. The pharmacist was wrong! My .25 is supposed to be S 900. It was S 901. There is no discrepancy here. It's even the same manufacturer. The pharmacist filled the wrong dosage and then lied about it! What recourse do I have? This is a serious problem.

I have to sit there and succumb to their attitudes because I'm asking them to check their systems in order to simply run my claim correctly. Not only is this irritating; it's embarrassing because everyone is watching and listening.

Not only do I have issues with CVS running my claims but now I have issues with them having the medication in stock when I order them. THIS IS UNSAFE! If I order this medication every month and have refills, shouldn't you anticipate me coming back to refill? Now I have to wait until they get the medication in stock which is dangerous. All the while, they're too concerned at getting the stupid extra care card so I can get my 20 coupons printed when they don't even have my medication.

I have health issues and it helps to take my medication so that I can live a pain-free life. It's bad enough that certain individuals give this type of medication a bad name. The last thing I need or want is another individual judging me without knowing who I am. So anyhow went to get my monthly refill today and was treated not only disrespectful but was blatantly lied to. My prescription is always a 30 day script. I got my last refill 29 days ago.

I was told (even though my Dr wrote the script for today, and he has a relationship with me) that CVS has a policy of not filling a script till the day it was last written. That's not true. What is true is the pharmacist decided she would override my Dr's expertise and my insurances allowance for up to 7 days ( in case you have a vacation) and make a judgement on me. It's a shame because not only have you now lost a customer who spent a great deal of money at CVS but you also get this review so that others can be forewarned that if you want a pharmacy that just does their job, and doesn't judge you, this isn't your store.

My second time in the same CVS... 8pm Wednesday the night before Thanksgiving. Store closes at 10pm. My arm in a sling. Go to pharmacist with rx for pain medication. Told by pharmacist to call on Saturday to see if rx is ready. Saturday? Today is Wednesday - it's for pain medication. I can't wait until Saturday. I'm told they are very busy. So I told pharmacist I would sit down and wait until it's filled even if it means sitting in their store until Saturday. Took the heartless pharmacist 2 hours to fill the rx while I waited, during which time only 2 other customers came in. I specifically asked for non-child proof cap. Got home to find it was a child proof cap... With use of only 1 arm, it took me 45 minutes to finally get the bottle open.

My third time in same CVS... attempting to fill a rx for my sick animal. I made NO attempt to use my own human health insurance coverage for this. The pharmacist began screaming at me that I cannot fill my pet's prescription using my health insurance card. I replied "Of course I can't and I didn't give you my card nor did I ask it to be processed under my insurance. And my cat has a different name than me". An elderly man sitting in a chair, apparently waiting for a rx to be filled, said "they are very nasty to everyone, don't take it personally".

My fourth time and last time in same CVS... purchased several items, cashier asked if I had a CVS card and noted several of the items would be much cheaper, "No, I don't, can you use a courtesy card." She replied "No, we don't do that." So I stepped aside and said I would wait for another customer to come along and ask if they had a card I could use. Cashier said I'm not allowed to use someone else's card. I said okay and began walking out of the store without making any purchase, while the cashier yelled out after me that I have to come back and put the merchandise back. I continued out of the store and I never went back to that store... or any other CVS store.

The new location at 221 Hope Street in Stamford, CT is the WORST CVS I have ever been to. The staff is rude, management is less than helpful, and services that are supposed to be provided are not. I have been to this location three times, 2 of which were major disasters. During the first situation, I was purchasing an ice cream from the frozen foods section. The ice cream selection was fully stocked and nothing looked out of the ordinary. When I went to pay, the cashier told me the item would not scan and she could not sell it to me. This was obviously strange and I could see the manager close by, so I asked her to check with the manager to see why this might be happening.

I stood less than 10 ft from the exchange where I watched him say "I dunno, just tell her you can't sell it to her and that's it." Come to find out, the ice cream was on a recall list, there was no sign to warn of this, and the freezer was fully stocked with the recalled items. Not only is this a major health code violation, but the customer service provided by the manager was not only non-existent but rude. He also went on to make fun of his own employee behind her back as I watched.

The second situation involved the pharmacy. The sign on the front door as well as any website for this particular location clearly states that the pharmacy closes at 9. I arrived at the location at 8:45. Now I understand that frustration that occurs when you're ready to leave for the night and that last straggler comes through the door, but pharmacies are open until a certain time for a reason. Not everyone can get home and run errands/pick up their prescriptions by 6pm.

I asked the pharmacist behind the counter if I could drop off a prescription, and he told me they were closed for the night and could be of no service until the morning. When I mentioned that I saw the sign on the front said they closed at 9 and asked to see a manager, the pharmacist looked at me and then looked back down at his desk and continued to go through paperwork. I was completely ignored from that moment on. I tried to speak with him at least 2 more times, but again he looked up at me like "Oh are you still there?" and then continued ignoring.

I'm not sure how these people were hired into these positions, but they clearly do not want to do their jobs. I'm sure there are many other people out there that would give anything to be in that position, and are likely more deserving. CVS should be ashamed of these employees, their attitudes, and the level of service they are providing customers. If your sign says you're open until 9pm, then that should be honored in every situation. And if you're a manager and you are faced with an issue, it is literally your job to resolve it.

Although I've had poor service at other CVS pharmacies in the past, this particular location tops them all. My physician called in a prescription for me yesterday. I waited a little bit and called to see how long it would take to be filled because I know pharmacies are busy places. The lady I talked to said it would be ready in about an hour. I waited 2 hours and called back to see if it was ready. The guy I talked to said it would be ready in about 30 minutes.

I drove back into Orange to the pharmacy and was in line behind two ladies who were having issues because their prescriptions/refills were not ready and should have been ready the day before. When I got to the counter, the last lady who had been in front of me was complaining as she walked away and the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes at her. None of the staff was helpful to the women. Instead, they were defensive and rude.

I gave the girl my name (it had been longer than 30 minutes since I had called) and she walked away. A couple of minutes later, the guy behind the other counter said that he tried to call me after he talked to me on the phone because the medication wasn't in stock and my prescription wouldn't be ready until 4:00 p.m. the next day. I told him my phone was with me and no one tried to call. He rattled off a number that wasn't my area code and I told him that it wasn't my number and I hadn't lived in that area code in years. He said, "Oh, well, it's still on your profile." No one ever asked to update my number.

I called at 4:00 p.m. today to see if my prescription was ready. I was told the truck was late getting in and I would have to call back later. I called again at 5:30 p.m. and was told the medication wasn't on the truck. I told them to cancel my prescription and I would have my doctor call it in to another pharmacy. The girl hung up on me. I will NEVER use CVS Pharmacy or shop at any CVS location again. It's time for people to take a stand and not put up with poor customer service or shoddy products.

I had a deplorable encounter today with the pharmacist at store #10006 at Oracle Rd. and 1st in Tucson. I went in to request a refill on 1 medication & drop off refill for pain medication. The pain medication was an EARLY refill which my doctor was well aware of because I am leaving the country on business & cannot have it filled when it comes due. I have had the same medication for years because of RA and FM & have no history of early fill issues, etc. I am a professional business woman, full time college student finishing business degree, and mother of 3. In other words, an upstanding citizen that doesn't pill pop for fun or sell medications.

When the pharmacist stated it was an early refill I started to explain why & that my doctor was well aware & ask if she could call to confirm with my doctor. I wasn't even able to finish my sentence before she walked over to counter, threw my prescription at me, and walked away. When I tried to ask again about the issue, she cut me off again & said "No, I'm not filling it." I was SO shocked to be treated so horribly. Her concern of early refill I understand. Her complete disregard for me & horrible treatment I do not. I have shopped at CVS for years & will no longer. Walgreens gets my 100% of my business from this day forward!!! Oh, and they, by the way, had no problem confirming with my doc and then filling it. Unbelievable the way I was treated!

First let me say I have been going to this pharmacy walking distance from my home and it is open 24 hours which is great! However, every month for the past 14 years I refill my prescription and am asked "would you like these put on automatic refill?" I say sure that would be great then it never happens!! Honestly this has happened a dozen or so times. Now when asked I say "why bother it never goes through."

Secondly, if you get the same thing refilled every month for years wouldn't you expect them to anticipate this and keep the medicine in stock? I've more than once been told "we don't have that right now!" But my antidepressant ** had to be refilled and they never did it!? I realized I hadn't been taking it for a week (my bad) and called them. They said "oh we don't have that dosage so we will put it into your doctor to change it"! Really!? Are you kidding me! I have not had my antidepressant for a month and they finally got it today and said my doctor never responded! This is completely unacceptable! What if it were someone who ended up suicidal without their medicine!? Elm Street West Springfield Mass.

I have been dealing with CVS (#1360) Pharmacy on Naylor Road SE, Washington, DC 20020 for years and during that time the overall service has not been good. Although it had gotten better for a while, it seems to be even worse than it was before. On 5/14/15 I went to CVS to pick up my prescriptions that I had been told over the phone were ready. When I arrived, there were about 5-6 people in line waiting for RXs, one of which was upset over his prescriptions and summoned the store manager.

When I finally get to the counter, I only received one of my 3 prescriptions, ** 5 mg., which was wrong. This was supposed to be a two-part prescription (which my doctor separated into two parts to make it easier to get approved by my insurance company). The RX was supposed to be ** (5 mg.) ** (10 mg.). I didn't notice that the RX was wrong until two days later and realized I did not have the right medicine or the right dose.

When I asked where was my other RX (part two of my blood pressure meds) I was told there was no refill on it. I had three refills remaining on that med when it was transferred from Apex Pharmacy. And when I asked about my allergy meds, I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I had already been there two days before to pick up my meds that were not ready. And had been waiting approximately 30 minutes.

By this time the line had grown to approximately 20 people which was an indication to me that the store was not organized. There were approximately 10 people working behind the drug counter that day. I had not seen such disorganization before at that store. I shouldn't have to make two and three trips to the store to pick up meds I was told were ready. These customer service agents need to realize they are putting lives at risk.

Drive through CVS on Hungerford Drive, Rockville, MD requires signature acknowledging that medicine has been received, before it is received. Why would they have this odd practice? Yesterday, I signed, and expected to receive prescription for 90 Schedule II pills. Paperwork and bottle were handed over, both marked 90 pills. Bottle and paperwork were delivered through window, receipt and medication paperwork outside bag, bottle inside stapled bag. Cars waiting behind me. I examined paperwork, drove away and then later, examined the bottle. Bottle contained only 30 pills.

Called pharmacy. Pharmacist asked for name then said, "Come back. Don't use drive through. Park and come in." Pharmacist examined document, bottle, then said, "Come back tomorrow." She claimed small bottle was big enough for 90 pills, indicated mistrust. She said, "This is issue for the head pharmacist." She could not reach him or do anything.

After fitful night, came back at 8 am this morning, parked, went in. Head pharmacist immediately acknowledged error and gave larger bottle containing the 60 missing pills. Explanation? "Sorry," pharmacist said, his mistake was remembering me and thinking this was like prior occasions when I only received 30 of these pills at a time. He didn't read the prescription? He relies on memory of prior prescriptions? Or was something more sinister going on?

What if I hadn't noticed small bottle and counted the pills? When pills ran out in 30 days, would I be out of luck? With Schedule II, can't obtain additional pills. How would I have proven the mistake? The form acknowledging receipt of medicine, signed before I received the medicine, could easily be used against me. I have had other bad experiences with this pharmacy, but this one sends chills down my spine.

I am a very loyal CVS customer in Highland Park MI. I shop there every week and get my Rx's filled for many many years. Most of the staff up front know me and are very courteous. The pharmacy is a different situation. There is one pharmacist that is always very very helpful and has a genuine caring heart. But the others...no.. My neurologist electronically sent over 2 scripts for me. I arrived about an hour and a half after it was sent and they told me to come back in an hour. Ok, no prob. I waited until I got an actual call from them notifying that my script was ready. I return to the store. One assistant is in the chip aisle and the pharmacist and other assistant don't even notice me. Someone finally sees me after about 5 minutes and I tell them my name. They pull the script and I pay and I noticed there was only 1 prescription in the bag.

I question her and she says my doctor probably only sent over 1 and that I need to go down to the drop off window to see what happened. I go down to talk to the pharmacist after standing for another 5 minutes for her to tell me they don't have that medication and told me to check around other pharmacies to see if they have it. Huh???? I didn't have a paper script. It was electronically sent over. So now what? She shrugs her shoulders. So I ask her if she could at least write the name of this med down because this was a new med for me. She scribbled Fioricet 50-300-40 down.

So now it's up to me to hunt for a pharmacy that carries this med and that she will transfer the script to them??? You may as well transfer all my scripts then. I don't drive. I suffer from Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis and migraine/tension headaches. This was prescribed to get these headaches under control because other meds were causing ulcers. I need my meds... Why couldn't she locate a CVS that did carry it???? That would have been offering too much care I guess.... Sad.

So, first I went to Wal-Mart pharmacy and once the lady looked at my medicine (an opiate blocker) I got an attitude. I could see the boxes of the medicine I get, there were at least ten, she told me they didn't have enough to fill. I took the hard copy and went to the first of two Cvs pharmacies in my town... the lady was very nice, inquired about my day, made idle chit chat but informed me she couldn't fill my medication because prior authorization with Mass Health is Cvs store specific!!! So then I waste yet another 20 min of my life I won't get back and go to the second cvs because she told me they could fill it.

After waiting in line for 45 minutes and then that lady got the usual (oh she must be a junky) attitude and said that even though my prior auth is good until next year, the mass health would not allow my script to go through and that they had to contact my primary insurance, which is blue cross... so I was told that they would call my insurance and doctor tomorrow. This is a medication that I can and WILL get very sick if I don't take it every day at the same time. Imagine the flu, times one million, so now I have to cross my fingers and pray to my higher power that they fill it tomorrow.

This is a script I have to pay $300 every month to get from a cash only doctor. I HATE being on it, but I NEED it. It's pretty sad when I have TWO insurances and can't get a med filled at CVS without a hassle and at least an hour wait, and when I filled it last time I overheard a tech and the pharmacist say, "they get off ** and substitute it for this, stupid junkies are ruining our town." I was very angry but I let it go. For the record I have never touched **... my medicine is prescribed to me because I had a doctor who got me hooked on pain meds when I hurt my neck badly at work taking care of elderly patients.

This company has the worst customer service I have encountered in my 57 years of living. I have had the same nightmare of service with them for over two years. It starts when my first neurologist order Botox treatment for my severe and chronic migraines. The same scenario occurs over and over, CVS Specialty Pharmacy reps claim they did not get the authorization when I call to find out what is causing a delay. I call the neurologist office. They claim they submitted it. And then I call CVS back and they claim they never received the authorization. Then once I get the doctor's office to show me the fax verification on the proper form, CVS Specialty Pharmacy states they never received it. After a few more rounds of this and hours on the phone I finally get CVS Specialty Pharmacy to acknowledge receipt of the authorization.

Then the next phase of the nightmare begins with CVS claiming they never received the prescription. I verify with the doctor's office to make sure they had also faxed it in. Then I get the same run around with CVS Specialty Pharmacy claiming they never received. This goes on and on. I have solid proof that the fax for both the authorization and prescription were done. As a matter of fact, it these documents were repeatedly sent to CVS Specialty Pharmacy. I even quit going to the one neurologist because I really started to believe the lies CVS Specialty Pharmacy told me when they said they haven't gotten the forms. Although the doctor's office showed me the faxed verification forms. Almost all of the representatives have been rude and argumentative. They insist that nothing has been sent to them because they cannot see it.

I finally got someone who I thought was decent during my most recent nightmare with CVS Specialty Pharmacy. I spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with CVS Specialty Pharmacy rep named **, she actually seemed to sincerely want to help me. She looked into why the RX was not showing up and then called me back. (That's first!!) ** informed me that everything was finally straightened out and CVS Specialty Pharmacy would call me the next day. After not hearing back from them, I called and spoke with one of the argumentative reps who insisted that the authorization was not done by doctor. Tried to tell her that I got it all verified two days earlier and that they were supposed to call to get my billing info and permission.

I feel as though I am starting over again. I am getting nowhere with this company. I tried calling their corporate office and I get direct right back to the horrible people that I have been dealing with all along. I am getting nowhere them. If there is anyone out there that can help me get this issue resolved, please help.

My son is significantly impacted by epilepsy as well as other neurological impairments. He takes multiple medication for both seizure management and metabolic support. I have been having his prescription filled at a specific CVS store near my home for many years. Recently, I was informed that since one of his meds was a schedule II drug they would no be able to accept an rx with any refills, but the MD would be required to refill the prescription every single month. Upon consultation with my son's neurologist, I learned that the drug as NOT a schedule II and should have been allowed refills. Bringing this info to the managing pharmacist, I was told that the drug schedule had changed and the drug WAS a schedule II contrary to the prescribing doctors statement.

I was also told that it was a CVS policy that was the reason for refusing auto refills... so which is it, the DEA because it's schedule II or CVS because they don't trust their customers?? Meanwhile, the store now has a new policy regarding schedule II drugs and they will not release ANY refill until the exact day it is due to be refilled. Upon questioning of a pharmacist who was temporarily at the store, I discovered it was entirely at the discretion of the store manager and not a CVS policy. Upon further investigation I found the package insert (12/14 revision) stating that ** is a schedule IV drug. I confirmed with the DEA website that there may be up to 6 refills automatically given on a schedule IV drug.

I have been in the store multiple times with my disabled son, so there should be no doubt that there is an actual patient and we have trailed several different seizure meds and discontinued several, as well. My long history (many, many years) at this pharmacy and specifically with the managing pharmacist does not provide any indications that there is abuse or potential abuse and that his medication schedule should be so restrictive. Additionally, either the pharmacist has never bothered to look up the actual schedule of the medication or he willfully lied to me. In any case it is unprofessional, unethical and possibly illegal.

I shopped to two separate stores in the Coachella Valley, with negative experiences at both of them. The first experience was when I couldn't find a single birthday card in their display... not one! Every one of their cards were either "'shop worn" or missing the appropriate envelope. The store manager said that the situation had been reported. My reply was simply that their card display didn't get that way overnight, and that it obviously wasn't maintained.

My second negative CVS experience occurred at a different store, where I tried to buy a common item called "Superfloss". It wasn't there. Numerous other dental products were stocked, but there was no stock on the display. CVS stores here seem to me to be poorly stocked and supplied. A trip to a nearby Rite Aid store had what I was looking for, with well stocked shelves and displays. CVS doesn't compare favorably to their competitors; at least not here.

We felt that CVS got the diagnosis wrong and did not help him, so we should not have to pay any more. When we finally spoke to a representative, they were very rude and not interested at all in the situation. We will NEVER use the Minute Clinic and/or CVS ever again.

I have been a loyal customer to CVS for years. Today I called to have my prescriptions refilled. They were expired and CVS called the my Dr's office to have them renew it. I called CVS numerous times to see if my Dr's office had sent them yet. I was told every time I called that they had not received anything. I then called the Dr's office, who assured me they had been sent. At this point I was so frustrated I asked the Lady at the Dr's office to just send them to Rite Aid. I Hung up waited 5 min, called Rite Aid and they had gotten them.

When I went to pick them up they said my insurance wouldn't cover one because they said I filled it at another pharmacy. At this point I wanted to cry because it was the one medicine I needed the most. Rite Aid went above and beyond and found out CVS had it in their system the whole time!! They got CVS to back it out so I could get it filled.

It's ludicrous that CVS would tell me all day that they didn't have my prescriptions and to find out they really did. It's irresponsible of them to give inaccurate information like that and mess around with someone's medications like that. Sad part is I even spoke to the pharmacist personally and got the same info. And in the end they said they didn't understand my name but we discussed all the medications on my account??

CVS Pharmacy #7307, 2018 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX - Monday, April 13, 2015, at 8:30 am, I consulted with my doctor about my severe allergies with congested, severe cough, earache, severe headache, nasal congestion, and severe throat. Previous medication did not work. Doctor said he was ordering **. As I was leaving he advised me to go to pharmacy to pick meds up around 11 am. I went to pharmacy around 11 and was told by technician, "Your doctor has not called in an order". The tech NEVER LOOKED AT ME AS SHE SPOKE. I said, I would return at 2 pm. Returned at 2 pm, was told by another tech, "Your doctor has not called in an order." I called the doctor's office and stated the doctor had not called in.

Nurse said she would tell doctor. Doctor's office was closed at 5 pm and I had to attend a wake for a close family member. After the wake, at 8:30 pm Monday, went back to pharmacy, again the same tech stated the same answer, "Your doctor did not call." I took some over counter meds I had at home in hope I'd get relief. I coughed all night, my ribs hurting in the morning. I returned to pharmacy in the morning when they opened and again, was told, "Your doctor has not called in an order." I left since I had to attend the funeral. I returned to the pharmacy in the afternoon after the funeral and was told again, "Your doctor has not called in the order".

By this time, I was totally sick, tired, hurting, and amazed at the lack of compassion and consideration for customers. I stood there and called my doctor's office. The nurse said they had called the pharmacy since Monday but NO BODY WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE!!! This I can attest having witnessed and heard the phone ringing anywhere 30-40 times at times. The techs can be right next to phone and they won't pick it up. My doctor requested the pharmacist call him, which she did. He told her he had called and NO BODY WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE. He give her the prescription/s requests. She gave it to the same tech advising her to fill out the prescriptions and that I was waiting for them at the counter. The tech NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE ME NOR MADE EYE CONTACT.

I asked the pharmacist what was the problem and she stated they were short staffed and a large volume of prescriptions. The tech placed the pharmacist's written prescription orders by her computer and left to proceed to help a customer at the "Drive Thru Window". There was another tech not busy who could have handled the drive thru customer. Then she walked around the pharmacy a little and started working on my order. She gave another tech my cough medicine to fill while she filled the other two. I thought she would have given me my prescriptions and collected payment, instead, in front of me, she DUMPED MY ORDER IN A PLASTIC BIN and they sat there for a while the pharmacist was on the phone.

This tech wears little girly "Kitty" glasses, full of tattoos, very unprofessional, rude, her body language excretes, "Don't bother me!" I paid for my prescriptions, and came home to finally take my first dosages. It had been over 30 hours since I had had prescribed medication. How can CVS hire such cold-hearted, insensitive, uncompassionate, uncaring, rude, holier-than-thou attitude to work in the healthcare field.

People's lives are at stake. I've advised my adult children NEVER to do business with CVS. Because one of CVS's employee negligence could jeopardize my family members life. But if it ever occurs, believe me they will be in for one super, mega lawsuit. Maybe there should be some type of federal investigation by a federal agency into CVS pharmacy practices and their employees' conduct. I will be sending my congressman a copy of this complaint and see if something can get started. Sadly, here are thousands of people who do not have the resources or know how to be heard after they are belittled, intimidated, disgraced, humiliated, insulted by these unscrupulous CVS employees. If these employees detest their job so much, they should go look for another job where they are not fit to work with customers and risk customers lives.

I have been using CVS for years as does my entire family. Everyone who works there knows my wife and I by name. The majority of them know us well, and even come say hello when we run into each other at the grocery store. Now let me say this, I have never ever had a problem with anyone with the exception of the main pharmacist at the CVS closest to my home.

I was at work and my wife picked up my prescription. When I got home it was laying our bed. Still stapled shut. I opened the bag and pulled the bottle out. Supposed to be 90 pills. As soon as I opened it I knew it wasn't 90. I poured them out and counted them. Only 60. 30 pills short. And this medication is for my anxiety which I have horrible panic attacks. I called the CVS immediately and told them. The girl who answered the phone knows me and said hold on a sec. I could hear her talking to the pharmacist. He said I was lying and he knows how to count. (Yes there was a circle around my pill number and his initials.) I said it's not a problem. Just count your pills and you will see it's 30 over. No problem right? Wrong!! I told her I could be there in 5 min and I heard her relay the message. He (the pharmacist) said, "I'm leaving tell him he has to come in tomorrow."

I asked if there was a camera above where they count the pills and she said yes. So I wasn't worried at all. Well... All I did was give him a heads up and he just said he was leaving so I didn't come up there. Because the next day I go in. Ask for the manager and head to the pharmacy. His partner, a lady was there. I asked to have a pill count done. At first she wouldn't. She tried to tell me my wife must have stole em... so now I'm P O'd. The manager and I talked and he said I wasn't allowed to watch the video tape! And then told me that "You wouldn't be able to see him counting the pills anyway!!" WHAT!? So... He asked the head lady pharmacist to count the bottle... A few minutes goes by of her giving me mean looks and then she looks up at me and smiles and says, "THERE IS NO DISCREPANCIES." WTF!?!?! Are you kidding me!?!?

So basically the head pharmacist basically robbed me! And by me calling I just gave him a heads up and he made damn sure that my 30 pills wouldn't be found in that bottle and he wouldn't have to admit to screwing up. Don't have insurance. I pay cash. And I need my meds. So I asked the manager what I was suppose to do now. He basically told me that because it was handed out the window to my wife, and supposedly there was no discrepancies in the count I was just outta luck.. now let explain something. Me, my wife, and my mother all take the same anxiety medication. I get 90 each month. As does my mom and my wife gets 60 each month. If it was 3 short it wouldn't really bother me. I would just blow it off and get by. But 30!!?? I can't go without my meds. And I can't take meds from someone else that needs em.

This CVS is in Stafford VA 22554. I'm completely at a loss here as to what to do. I'm almost 40 yrs old. I own my own business, I work damn hard everyday. I'm pretty upset... well... my mom lives with me as she is elderly and disabled. I've been picking up here meds for 10 plus yrs. I worked 12 hrs. (Installing granite counters on the 3rd floor.) Mom called me and said she had 7 prescriptions ready for pick up so I told her I would. (Even though I had been sitting in 2 hrs of traffic on 95). When I got there the head guy wasn't there. The lady was. I asked for a recount on all my mom's pills... she then gave me a mean look and said "Sorry. I'm not giving these to you. Your mom will have to come in and get them herself." WHAT?? NOT ONE WAS A NARCOTIC! Just med like her HEART and BLOOD.

I was livid. My mom has to have her meds. She is disabled and can't drive and I have been taking care of her and picking up her meds for 10 plus yrs... yes I'm angry. And I want the world to know all about the "customer service of this pharmacy. Now not the girls who just work there but the pharmacist.. DON'T USE THE DRIVE THROUGH. GO IN AND ASK THEM TO RECOUNT YOUR MEDS PEOPLE!!!! If you don't you may end up getting screwed like me and they will try their best to make everything difficult for you. And yes, you WON'T get your medication or money back.

It's a shame. Me, my wife, 3 of my kids, and my mom (who takes A LOT of medications) all have always used CVS. We will now stop using ANY CVS. Period. But I am a firm believer in karma. You get what you give in life. God don't like ugly.. and the actions of those two pharmacist was ugly. Now this just happened a few days ago. I've tried to call the corporate office. No one will answer the phone. But pretty soon I will be outta my medication and for me that is bad trying to run my business, take care of my family and raise my new born son who is 3 and a half months old. If you're a parent you probably understand. And if you suffer from anxiety and panic attacks like I do... you definitely understand. If anyone knows what I can do or has advice. I'd love to hear it.

CVS Pharmacy can OVERRIDE your physician's medication orders! Individual CVS pharmacists are permitted (with corporate approval no less) to decide whether or not you really need the medication your doctor prescribes, even if your doctor calls them directly to verify your need. These individual pharmacists can make this decision without even seeing you, without knowing your medical background or status. You, a patient, are simply lumped into some arbitrary category personally determined by the individual pharmacist regardless of your specific medical circumstances. And it would seem that another CVS corporate policy is to allow their staff to obfuscate the facts surrounding the override policy. I, a senior citizen, spent 4 hours (in pain) today driving around town and on the phone trying to get this situation resolved (to no avail) and my prescription filled, which I finally did at another pharmacy.

I have had the same doctor for 15 yrs. as well as the same prescription. I use CVS as my pharmacy since it's so close and pretty accurate on the timing of refills. I've always dropped my script off the night before because it's a 24-hr. pharmacy and I'm almost always on a 12-hr. shift, and if not 10-hr. for sure. But all of a sudden there's been some problems from the women pharmacist since they will not let me drop the script until the day of the fill date. There was a problem with my doctor's office getting my pre-approval taken care of in time for the script to be filled so in March, Blue Cross had to do an override so I could get at least a 20 day fill instead of nothing, as it would have made me ill and maybe not even able to make it to work.

So by getting it early, it made it so I would have to pick it up earlier than normal. So now I'm having a very hard time getting anything done at this pharmacy. Now the female pharmacist is saying that I have to bring it on the day of the refill and that they cannot keep it and I cannot get it 'til the day it's due and at a certain time in the day. I always take it the day before so I have it for the day. I thought that's why a pharmacy was open 24 hrs.

Hi! I normally will not return any products at CVS, simply for the fact I buy everything that I need. Well yesterday, I purchased something I thought I would want and today, I decided I didn't want it so I went to the CVS on the corner of Sunset and Sandhill. I returned 2 nail polish and a pack of bobby pins has not been opened or anything. I figured this wouldn't be a hassle and really easy because I still had my original receipt and my card (EBT). Right from the beginning, I can sense the cashier is annoyed that I am returning something. She asked me for my rewards card and I always give out my number because I tend to forget my card or lose it. And immediately she says, it didn't go through and didn't ask for my number again continued on. I pointed out that I didn't want to be disloyal, the items were suppose to be .49 cents cheaper, she didn't seem to care.

So I left it alone. Finally, it came to the return to the correct form of payment which was on my EBT card cash benefits. She asked me to swipe my card. I followed instructions, then she said, I touched the wrong button. I said, “Oops, I'm sorry. I thought I did everything you asked.” It still didn't work and she looked really annoyed by this point, so I tell her “I think it's pretty much cash so it's almost the same as EBT cash,” then she mumbled, “it's on a card so it's not the same thing,” in a very rude tone of voice. I felt so uncomfortable I refuse to purchase or return anything at this CVS. I don't like to be a snitch on an employee so I won't name any names. I just would of appreciate not feeling like I'm doing something horrible. She didn't give me a new receipt, all I have is my original receipt. Separate from the comment, I had a question about my rewards bucks. I believe it's called, how do I retrieve mine since I lost the receipt??

This is concerning the new store (CVS) in Avondale, Louisianna. The very first day they opened, we were excited to visit the new pharmacy, I had just taken my son to the Doctor at Jefferson community down the street. I took the time to switch from our current pharmacy to this one, and boy was I in for a treat. My son has Medicaid coverage, I only had the Medicaid cards and not the branch provider, it had never been a problem before. My son had $800 worth of Asthma medication, I'm a single mother, I work but barely make ends meet. My baby NEEDED these meds really bad, this pharmacist refused to give us his meds until she seen the cards, I called Medicaid ordered new cards, 7 to 10 days it would take to get them, however, she gave me all the numbers needed to get the medicine.

The pharmacist would not work with me, nor did she ever express any concern, she was short and honestly seemed heartless, as if it was no biggie that my baby can't breathe. I will never go back to this pharmacy. I switched back to my old pharmacy explained my situation, they took the time to get on the phone, gave us our medication and even came out and gave my son his first dose of his inhaler. I thought to myself, what the heck was I thinking switching pharmacy? I hope this woman has no children herself, I would not want to be in the care of someone, that could not give a flip if a child could breath or not. This lady, I do not know her name, but she said she is a pharmacist, has short braided hair and African American. This is the CVS in Avondale, Louisiana.

To the lady herself, If you ever read this, please know my feelings were very hurt that there was no concern for my child. You could have even suggested the hospital or something. I don't know, you can say that you were only following procedure, but we all know that you were giving us a hard time. Even the Medicaid office were saying so, you could have given my son his meds, and you chose not to. To work in the medical field, you are there to CARE for the sick. Maybe this field isn't for you or maybe it was just a bad day. However You need to figure it out, because a child with asthma is a serious issue. I'm happy with my old pharmacy, I will stay with them.

My son is recovering from a second bout of pneumonia in the last 8 months and on April 2nd I went to pick up his prescriptions which had been called in by his doctor at approx 2 - 3 pm that afternoon. Since my wife could not leave him alone all evening I could only pick these up after work at approx 8 PM. After picking up the prescriptions I reached home to find that a particular nasal spray had not been given to me. Upon calling the pharmacy I was told that your insurance (CVS Caremark) does not cover it automatically - your doctor has to pre-authorize it. When I asked why I was not told about this in the afternoon when the doctor was available, I was told that "you had been called and informed" when actually this was not true. Further, when I asked what I was supposed to do at that time I was told first to pick up a substitute then later informed - oh no - there is no substitute - just pick up the actual medicine at $257 (full price).

With no option and a suffering 5 year old at home, I headed to the store to pick up the medicine. On picking it up and paying for it - I informed the store manager - ** that I needed to speak to the pharmacist who had spoken to me on the phone. ** - the pharmacist told me that it wasn't her problem that the person had not called me or the doctor and if I wanted to - I should take my business elsewhere.

My question to CVS is - is this supposed to happen this way? Is it the case that the pharmacy should wash its hands off its own employees and treat customers like it is their problem when the insurance company asks for pre-authorization which has to by protocol be worked through with the doctor. Will CVS accept any responsibility? I am supposed to accept this behavior just because I am a minority? At this point I am out $257, since a simple matter where the doctor could have been consulted and would have recommended a substitute became one of extreme rudeness and insensitivity and a loss to me, further I am at a state where I will take my business elsewhere and will urge everyone I know to do the same.

It made me feel like I had done something wrong and was under some type of suspicion. If these pharmacies and the DEA don't want chronic pain patients hopping from pharmacy to pharmacy then don't pull stunts like this on the customer/patient. I don't abuse my medication and it is indeed the only relief I get that has managed to help me walk and get dressed and do normal everyday activities without god awful pain that would normally leave me bedridden. After reading many comments here on this site with pain patients being told the same thing, I can't help but wonder if CVS pharmacy chain has made the decision to no longer fill this particular medication.

This is judgmental and puts people like me in a very bad place of having to run around town trying to find a pharmacy that will fill my medication. This brings a great deal of stress and anxiety when I am getting my newly written prescriptions each month wondering if I have been seen as some type of liability or possible drug abuser and that at any time they may decide to not fill my morphine medication as well. If I am suddenly unable to get my medication filled altogether this would put me in the hospital for severe life threatening withdrawal.

This is negligent behavior on this pharmacy's part and could indeed endanger my life. CVS needs to rethink this type of managing of their customers who come to them with trust and expect that they as a customer and patient will be treated with respect and honesty. I am in the process of looking for a pharmacy to transfer all my medications at this point.

So I'm like cool I can go buy a makeup product I need. Instead of exiting the store after the purchase I proceed to the makeup isle. A woman comes up to me immediately, asking me if I need help. I say "no I'm ok", she is still watching me. I don't know if she thought I was going to steal since she say I had already made a purchase and had a CVS bag, but it made me so uncomfortable. I couldn't believe I was being watched and how quickly she came to "assist" me.

Now I go in there all the time, no one has ever asked if I needed assistance. Maybe I am overreacting but I'm still thinking about how uncomfortable I was. I didn't recognize the woman to be someone who is there often. I was so upset I left the store without purchasing anything besides my original purchase. I felt so uncomfortable. I could understand if I looked suspicious but I am always in there. Now I don't want to go back. I am one of their customers who shop there all the time, hence the $19 in extra bucks.

I have been working in healthcare for 28 years as well as **, my wife works in the health field for over 25 years. Today after coming from the dr. Office I went past Walgreens and my wife said, "You passed Walgreens ok dear let go to the CVS." My wife said, "I am in pain please go somewhere." So I stopped at the CVS, not only did they make me feel not welcome, never once did I get a "How are you?", not friendly at all. The young lady that was taking my wife information was as cold as the winter in mass. This yearend when she ask me for my insurance she said Harvard Pilgrim. Oh I looked at her and was wondering what kind would you like me to be on MassHealth.

So I waited for my wife meds and waited and waited finally the lady gave me my wife meds and I paid for the meds and left. When me and my wife got home my wife looked at the bottle and said those pills look short on count so he counted them and they were 10 pills short. So I called CVS back right away talked to the pharm. And she said, "Well I counted 60 three times." And I said to her "My wife counted 50 several times." She said to me, "I don't know what to tell you." And I said to her, "I know what to tell you, where is your sup. at?" And she said to me, "I will have him call you back." Well still waiting, my next step is to go to the police dept. and make an official complaint, and as I am looking up the CVS co. Lo and behold they are fined for the same pills I am missing, never ever coming here again in life.

My supplemental has gone to Caremark for my scripts and since my transfer I have found that the scheduling and notifications for refills are flawed. My orders are all over the map. I belonged to a different pharmacy prior and never had this issue. This past weekend I picked up one medication and on the way home I received another notification that another medication was ready. I live 12 miles away from the pharmacy. I checked my online pharmacy account and it had notifications that I needed to order refills on 2 other scripts. I hit the reorder button and within the hour I received a call that it was too early for both one of which was a controlled drug.

The pharmacist gave me the 'can't refill controlled drugs too early' scolding and I told him “I'm going by what my notifications are according to text and online services.” I am not particularly happy with CVS online--think I'll go back to counting my own meds then ordering to keep track of them myself. If I'm having issues, most likely others are too.

I was sick of this clerk's attitude and asked to speak with a pharmacist. Was told that new prescription was filled earlier. Spoke with spouse and sure enough he got it. All the clerk had to do was tell me that and skip her attitude, I would not be writing this and wasting time. Finally the cvs I been using here told me that they had it in stock so I do the right thing I take my remaining medication back to my dr. and I go back to that cvs to fill my original script. When I got there I was told that they only had 3 pills. I asked them why didn't they tell me that before. Her answer was that this particular medication is in demand and goes quickly BUT I was just there 15 mins ago... she didn't apologize and went back to what she was doing without any regard of the fact that I am now going to be in excruciating pain for a whole week.

I tried to go to 10 other cvs and all I got was rude pharmacy technicians some of them told me that they don't want to fill it others told me that they didn't feel comfortable filling it... I started feeling like pablo escobar at some point or some drug addict cause that's how I was treated. They are there to fill our prescriptions and not to judge. WHY people are taking them or the doctors who write them. So bottom line, they are rude unprofessional, unethical, rude judgmental, long waits and they are out of stock a lot. They wouldn't have the Rx until next week which wouldn't work for my sick family, so I asked if they could call the closest CVS to see if they have it in stock. They refused. The first excuse was that the closest CVS "was there first, and we are new, so they don't like us and might not tell us the truth." Perplexed, I asked if they were owned by the same company. The answer was yes. I thought surely if this man knew I didn't want to make a wasted trip to another CVS that might be out of stock with my 2.5 year old and 1 year old in tow, he would understand.

The next explanation was that they "don't call other CVS's." ... I'm sorry - WHAT?! I'm not asking you to call your competitor!! You are a PUBLICLY traded company across 50 states! And the final piece de resistance was that "I could call myself and we keep our stock of that drug limited for our "regulars"... - which makes loads of sense. I'll definitely be switching my business to a pharmacy that is willing to inquire with other locations if they happen to be out of stock.

As a patient I never experienced a problem. I've learned working there to always keep a script copy on hand because unknowingly they don't always get sent over by fax or there's a huge delay. All of that can cause up to an hour wait. Everything is bar coded at CVS so when your script is printed out to be filled it's already been entered in and a copy was made and printed for you. Everything has to be scanned correctly that means the script's bottle or whatever it came in to avoid error. After the tech has done all that it gets approval by one of the pharmacists working then given to you. Other conflicts are medicine not covered by insurance and CVS will send your dr a notice about it per your consent. Also insurance companies will refuse to let you fill early. Everything is computerized. CVS has been the most convenient and quick to get angry with specialists that said they sent meds and didn't. 24 hr service keeps me as a customer.

I questioned if there was a prescription for myself as well since I had picked up and requested auto refill on both prescriptions at the same time last month. The pharmacy tech waiting on me, who by the way seemed to be very annoyed that I had interrupted whatever she was doing to actually wait on me, refused to look up my prescription to see why it was not refilled. She directed me to the drop-off window, which was within view and had no one manning it.

I contacted CVS customer service today to lodge a complaint. The rep was very nice but really did nothing to resolve the issue. I work late hours so I usually have to go to the 24-hour pharmacy, and every time I go there they have anywhere from a 6 hour to a full day wait time! Since they're one of the only 24-hour pharmacies in the area, they get really busy late at night, and they only have two people working in the pharmacy. Also, the particular medication I need is only carried at a select few CVS locations, and the majority of them never have it in stock. It's a fairly popular medication, so why don't they simply keep enough in stock? They literally wait for it to run completely out before even ordering anymore. Ridiculous.

If they don't begin giving the pharmacy more help during busy hours and train their staff better, they're going to continue losing business. Please do not go to CVS if you have another option nearby. They need to understand that they need to improve!

I had done business there for years and will never shop there again. I will purchase my toiletries, Rx, etc. at the competitor, across the street. I admit I raised my voice with her, but only being told they couldn't fill the Rx, then after checking was told they could, then and later, after waiting in the store, I was told she wouldn't fill it. This not the first time they went back and forth, at my time expense. My wife has chronic back pain with osteoporosis, 3 cracked vertebrae, she's had two major stomach surgeries and a long fight with sepsis. I didn't even know what doctor shopping was, till now. She had been going to a pain clinic and gotten meds and her surgeons also prescribed pain med.

All of her meds were listed for all doctors to see, nothing was hidden. Bottom line, the pharmacists condescending attitude humiliated me, in the store and my wife's over the phone. This occurred in early Feb. BTW... I went to my insurance provider and got a list of filled RX's. What she said about the ex being too early was WRONG!! She said had been two weeks and my insurance showed it being a month prior. As it turned out, my wife's pain clinic was notified and she got rejected for further treatment. This was probably good, because we since found out she may be able to be helped, medically. That damn clinic doctor NEVER gave hope for getting better. The way I see it now, pain doctors are the evil and problem causers in this Rx addicted society. Anyway, I'm sure you will see this as an invalid complaint, but my $$ will NEVER go to a CVS store again and I will advise my friends to do the same.

I recently went to CVS to get my medications filled. My insurance requires that I get a 90 day supply with 3 refills with each medication. The pharmacist insisted that I get a 1 month supply instead, which cost almost twice what a 3 month supply would cost. To appease this particular pharmacist, I went to another doctor and got him to file electronically my prescription refills to CVS for the same 3 month supply. This same pharmacist attempted to talk me into getting the 1 month supply of the medication for twice the amount, once again. When I refused and insisted he filled the prescription as filled out by the doctor he finally agreed with one of my meds.

The pharmacist did however refuse to fill another of my prescriptions, with the excuse that the insurance company refused to fill it because it wasn't written by my Family physician, but a doctor from Patient First. This was a lie, plain and simple because I have never had my insurance company refuse to pay for a prescription as long as a qualified doctor writes the prescription. This particular pharmacist did everything that he could to give me a hard time concerning my medications. He even lied to me upon my arrival, saying that he didn't even get the electronic prescription... When I pointed out that I had received a voice message from this same CVS to pick up my prescriptions. Why send the voice message if you didn't get the electronic prescription?

I will never set foot back in this particular CVS store. I would avoid all CVS stores if my insurance carrier didn't insist that all medications be purchased from this pharmacy chain. All of this succeeded in causing my blood pressure to increase. Talk about cheating your customers. People, you had better know for yourself what your doctors prescribe and the correct amounts you are to take, because if you don't this store will surely kill you, and cheat you out of more money while they are at it.

Today, I went to store number 8945 in Kingston NY where for the second time in two months, I was abused and insulted by a young woman who works there. Tonight she accused my of altering my prescription which I was trying to fill at the pharmacy closest to my work. Typically I fill at the CVS close to my home but they have shorter hours and I was working a 12-hour shift.

On my lunch I dropped off the prescription to a young woman who looked it up in the computer, verified the last time I filled it, and that the item was in stock. She asked when I wanted to pick it up. I stated I would do so after 8 pm when I got off work. I returned to the drive-thru window at 830 pm in some very slippery weather. I was greeted by the same young woman who last month refused me service stating that she did not have the item in stock. This evening she stated she could not fill my prescription because it was not due until tomorrow and it appeared altered.

She stated she had called the doctor for verification and they hadn't returned her call (ON A SUNDAY NIGHT!). I said I would just take it to my hometown pharmacy tomorrow. She then refused to return it to me because she had already called the doctor and this was the law. I stated that this was the very same prescription, from the very same doctor I had been filling every month for years at CVS (usually in my hometown but because of my long work hours, I took it to one close to my work). I demanded she show me what appeared altered and she showed me the prescription and she stated "The one is not the way the doctor writes his ones." The one she showed me was in #120 - for a prescription that stated "QID" or four times per day. Four tablets per day for 30 days is a total of 120 tablet.

Not only did this statement not make any sense, but the one did not look any different (how many ways can a "one" be written anyway?) and it is the exact prescription I have been filling every month for years, I repeat, from the SAME doctor and always at CVS pharmacy except the previous month when her lie about not having inventory caused me to go to Walgreens and pay out of pocket for the medication since Walgreens did not accept my insurance. I am furious and highly insulted; this woman accused me of committing a felony in order to impose her judgments on me and make an already painful and exhausting situation worse. Trying to get a prescription filled on the exact day you need it when you work 12-hour shifts and your pharmacy closes too early is hard enough. Dealing with chronic pain and taking medication so that you are able to work and move and live a life is hard enough.

Being demeaned, accused and clearly discriminated against by a person who doesn't know you or your illness and is not qualified by experience or education to determine what your illness requires even if they did know what you suffered from is reprehensible behavior on this person's part. It is unprofessional and should not be tolerated by CVS. This person has no business working in the healthcare industry if they cannot separate their personal biases from their work. She is clearly lacking in the ethics required of the position since her statement that the prescription appeared altered was a lie (based on years of records at her fingertips and writing that was clearly written and added up correctly for the prescription). I can only hope that someday, she must suffer the same sort of humiliation, pain and difficulties in getting treatment.

Not the first time this has happened at this location. Switching my prescriptions to Walgreens.

On numerous occasions I get my prescriptions only to find I am shorted. I have to call them up and make a second trip to get it corrected. On 2-22-15 I went to get a prescription I phoned in several days ago to find out they don't have it because insurance is waiting on paying for it until March 1st. Talking further I find out that since I get a 90 day supply of medications, my medications had been shorted by 30 days. My medication is ** which I take for diabetic type two. I should have gotten 180 pills but only got 112. I called them and they said I should have gotten two bottles of it. In past, if I get more than one bottle of meds they mark on them how many such as 1 of 2 or so. This time the bottle says 180 and was a large bottle.

CVS told me I should count my meds before leaving the store. I have several meds and would be impossible to do that. Besides they should supply a clean area to do that if they want you to count your own meds. I have read about Pharmacies shorting customers and then someone else sells it illegally. I am not saying that is what they are doing but it has crossed my mind since I have been shorted so often. Isn't there some agency that oversees this type problems and don't CVS have a program of quality assurance to make sure their drugs are all accounted for. I am still puzzled over the fact they told me I should count my meds before I leave the store. This happened at store number 6451 910 Court st. Pekin IL.

I wish there was a +100 points to give the workers out front in the pharmacy. They remember my name, do everything they can to help out and always have a POSITIVE attitude. However I wish there was a -100 to give the management, especially the woman in that does the scheduling on the store on Geer Rd. in Turlock, CA. I was standing at the counter and heard every word she said. She called all those work together in my ear shot and told them she was cutting their hours back to 23 a week, if anyone complained, put in any over time or called in they would be fired. Real motivation. Very RUDE lady.

I can't figure out why she would cut hours or not hire more people because they are always so far behind, disorganized and can't keep up with orders. I have had to wait two weeks for one prescription, I have had to call in my own prescription, been told over and over again that my doctor did not call my order in when it was on the recorder, been told I did not call in the order when I did and the list goes on.

The reason for this is they are short handed. The help up front are working their fingers to the bone and Miss Schedule Manager cuts hours and threatens employees. What kind of business threatens their employees when they are working their fastest and want to work more hours? If any of them leave, I will follow them and I know MANY other patients that will do the same. I have talked to doctors that have had MANY problems as well. I don't know what all else is the problem but I know with the Geer Rd. Pharmacy in Turlock, Ca 95380 it is the scheduling manager. They need to get rid of her. She is destroying their reputation.

Dealing with CVS in getting prescriptions thru silverscript was an exhausting experience due to having to make repeated calls to CVS to straighten out issues with them which they could have easily resolved by simply calling the doctor for clarification. Each time you call them you have to go through three people to get someone who can help you and you never deal with the same person again. We got multiple calls telling us things were shipped and then got letters telling us that things were not shipped or not available. It has been a harrowing experience.

I went to the pharmacy section because there was only a male employee at the front. The woman at the pharmacy counter seemed confused at the request to return and went to talk to another female employee. They both came back and told me that I could not return my items at the pharmacy counter because: they might be from another store (huh?); and the store manager would not allow them to do returns. I explained that one of the items was a personal female product and I wanted a female employee to assist me. Now I have to return to CVS to check to see if there is a woman up front. Ridiculous! Not good customer service at all.

I have had one problem after another with CVS stores but in particular Prescott Valley Arizona CVS. I am on life-saving medication that has to be sent to CVS every 28 days. I also had 3 other prescriptions to be filled plus the two that were shipped from Caremark to CVS. For four days they could not get my regular prescriptions straightened out so today I went over there to pick them up and my specialty prescriptions which are life-saving drugs and I am very sick. I also had 1 prescription to drop off.

When I got up to the windows, same amy go back and forth to drop off the 1 prescription and pick up the other one. I got into a big house about it because there was no money involved in picking up my prescriptions and I just wanted to leave the one off there at the store. Back to another counter and take the one prescription and I did then the girl had a nasty attitude. Her name was **. She was an extremely young snotty arrogant Asian woman. The prescription was in an envelope and I left an envelope on the counter and gave her the prescription. She threw the envelope back at me and I tossed the half envelope back at saying “please do not throw it back at me”, she tossed it back at me.

After she sees what my prescription is for she said, “you need your insurance card”, I said “no I don't” I said “all my information is in the computer, I'm picking up 5 other prescriptions”. She refused to look it up, she kept saying “you need your medical card” and then she said “well I'm just not going to fill this for you” and it got really ugly.

I am a senior, all my info information was in the computer as I'm a regular customer of CVS all over the United States. Her coworkers got involved in the dispute as I called the manager then she lied and said she asked me for my driver’s license or picture ID which she never said which I immediately pulled it out in front of the manager and my medical card she said “I refused to fill your prescription, I'm not filling your prescription.” The female manager did absolutely nothing, said she had no power over the pharmacy. I left with four prescriptions, one not paid for because they did not tell me it would cost me $25 and my other prescription not filled all because of this nasty nasty hateful witch.

CVS is the closest Pharmacy to my home so you would think that would be where I would fill my meds... NOT! I do as a last resort and only if Rite Aid is out of stock. I have used my local CVS over 7 years now and at one time was my regular pharmacy but the employees in the store and in the Pharmacy are simply horrible! I think it must be a "culture thing" as I base my opinion on I guess 50 or more visits over 7 years and I can only remember one employee that even smiled and was nice. In contrast my local Rite Aid "culture" includes the cashier located by the front door always says Welcome to Rite Aid EVERY time I enter. How refreshing that is and that alone won my business over CVS.

I find my CVS experience is like the soup ** from the show Seinfeld. My Rite Aid was out of a med today so I tried CVS again. Pulled up to the drive in window. Took at least 5 min for someone to walk up and started in on how the "Pharmacy would be closing in like 2 min" she said. Again, I could tell I was bothering CVS so I once again will take my business elsewhere. I don't know if all the stores are like this but mine has been over 7 years now with many different employees as I never see the same person, but with a store culture like this CVS will not be around long. I wish the CEO or owner of CVS would simply walk into a local Rite Aid as see how it is done.

For the past two months, I haven't been able to figure out why I've been running out of my anxiety medication early. I am the only person with access inside my home and belongings, so there is absolutely no chance that someone has been stealing my medication. Each morning, I take my daily prescribed three pills with me in a separate bottle and go about my day. I never take more than prescribed. Last month I had to force myself to take less than prescribed because I noticed that I was running short (which totally sucked).

This week I went for my monthly refill. When I got home, the quantity inside the bottle appeared different, so I decided to count the pills. There were 60 in the bottle, not 90 as shown on the bottle. The next morning (today), I called the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist about the situation and asked what I needed to do/what their protocol is for this type situation. I assumed the pharmacist wasn't paying attention to me because she asked me to repeat my story multiple times. She finally said that I don't have any proof that there were 60 in the bottle when it was given to me and that there is nothing they can do. She said for me to contact my doctor. I told the pharmacist that the sad part about it is that my doctor's office closes the doors for business today and they are not taking any patients, etc.. she said she would try to call but couldn't guarantee.

First of all, I think this is **. Secondly, I obviously have an anxiety disorder, so this situation is making my anxiety worse. I have been taking this medication for many years, so if I go without it, my body will automatically begin to seizure. Lastly, how would I have this "proof" unless I opened the bottle and counted the pills in front of the pharmacist at the time the script was handed over to me? I know they have inventory and can back check for this.

I don't understand... my doctor gave me a prescription for 90 pills, the pharmacy did not give me what the doctor ordered. CVS still did not make any motion to resolve and put it back on me to resolve. Ughhh. I don't know how many more times this has happened to me or anyone else for that matter. I'm totally pissed.

She was probably the most horrible ignorant person I have ever had to deal with in my life. Her name was Zeleena and I don't know how she was hired as a manager. She had no people skills at all.

So I came home and rang CVS customer care and the lady on the phone was so nice and is helping me with this. All she needed was my CVS card and she looked into it for me and could see everything that way. If Zeleena room her head out of her phone maybe she could have done the same thing. CVS I suggest someone should look into this and not have such a horrible manager working in the store. Then not even 5 minutes later the pharmacist and the cashier come up to me and say, "Are you sure we can't help you with anything?" I said, "No, I'm still just looking at your drinks and snacks." The pharmacist told me that it's unusual for people to come in and look at things at 1 am and I said, "Sorry, I can't decide what I want."

About 2 minutes after that I hear her announce on the intercom for the security cameras to watch me!!! At this point I'm very upset so I forget about the drink and go to the medicine aisle and look for something for my ear infection. As I'm looking the pharmacist comes up AGAIN and says, "It's about time you get your drink and leave, don't you think?" I said, "This is a 24 hour store, right?" And she says, "Yes, but we have other things do to besides monitor you." I said, "I have never met someone so disrespectful to customers."

I decide to leave and as I'm walking to the door the pharmacist and the cashier are talking about calling the police on me and I stopped and said, "For what? Because I was trying to find deals and what I wanted?" I showed her my pockets so she could see I wasn't stealing. She said, "No, because we timed you in here for 21 minutes. When I asked who the manager was she told me his name and said that he likes for them to make sure their store is ran properly so she was doing her job. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I FELT SO DISRESPECTED.

I was told by the pharmacy tech it was too early and they would take the actual written prescription and hold onto it although they don't do that and do it tomorrow. Let me preface this with I don't drive and depend on my husband to get me wherever and to run my errands. I let her keep the prescription thinking that's never happened before. My husband asked me if he could pick it up after midnight because he had a job the next day and didn't know when he would be able to go by there for the next few days. I called CVS pharmacy to see if that was possible, but before I could ask, I was told it would be ready around 10:30 -11:00 pm.

My husband called and said he was heading home and to call the pharmacy to see if it was ready. I called to ask and was lectured by the pharmacy tech that the pharmacist had told me earlier I could pick it up after midnight and that she was doing me a favor at that. She then said she was going to notate my file never to let me get a RX filled early ever again. She then went on to say that my medication was as needed and that there was no way I needed to take my RX everyday and I shouldn't need this one filled, but she would let my husband pick it up. I never spoke to the pharmacist that day in person or on the phone and no one told me anything about midnight.

First I should explain, I don't take pain medications except post surgery or procedure. This RX was filled by CVS Lexington Rd, Athens GA 30605 and was my first pain med RX for more than 2 yrs from any pharmacy. The surgery I had was a colectomy and using pain medications can cause constipation which can seriously impact my healing post this procedure. I filled the RX 2/2/15 to have if I needed them upon discharge from the hospital the same day. The RX is for 1 every 6 hours as needed, but I was not taking them even close to that. 2/2 I took one, 2/3, I took 2 and vomited so I held off taking them till today 2/5. I am going to the MD today for follow-up post surgery and took one to ease pain prior to staples being removed today. I did a pill count and found that I am missing 3 tabs. I did not do a pill count at the time I picked them up from CVS, but I know my cat would not take any and there is no one other than myself that has had access to them.

I called CVS to report the count being inconsistent with the RX count of 30. I will also inform my physician of this inconsistency as well. I do not need the 3 missing tabs and certainly will not push to get them, but with all the controversy with pain medications and customers having problems filling their pain medications, I fill there should be an investigation on all pharmacies as to fill count inconsistencies. I am a RN, so I know to look at the count RX by the MD, but I am sure that patients do not pay attention to the ordered amount once the MD gives them a pain med RX. They fill the RX and accept what the pharmacy fills. Once the RX is written, the only persons that see the RX is the patient and the pharmacist or pharmacy personnel.

If a pharmacy gives a patient 1-3 tabs less than the RX count, the only option as to confirm this would be for each patient to count out the tabs when they are given the bottle right there in front of the pharmacy personnel cashier counter. I believe this is a MAJOR issue and a method to prevent this should be created to STOP even the pharmacist or pharmacy techs from stealing pain meds. I am a RN in home health care. I do medication reconciliation with thousands of patients. I see too many errors with pharmacies in filling patients' medications and not just pain medications. I am only hoping that by reporting this, a method can be created to prevent others from discovering their pharmacy took medications from them either in error or on purpose.

I told them that I didn't need it, that it was my new prescription for the year and they informed me they would place it on hold. So within hours of knowingly losing my business, they conveniently lost my prescription. District manager gives apologies. Claims on sending a gift card for the unprofessional actions of their stores. Never receive any phone calls back even with "problems" they claim of being unable to re-fill prescriptions following the store requirements of 3 trips of controlled medication. They blame insurance companies but cannot ever back up their lies with print out of the "problems". Per insurance company if there was really a problem there should be a printout stating problems.

So cover their ass they make slanderous allegations regarding their inappropriate handling of narcotic medications and blame the customer. Although CVS alleges three (3) trips to the store to fill narcotic medications. When confronted then CVS "It’s the customer drug seeking behavior" but cannot back up the allegations. When going to pick up medications, un-filled and insulted with no professional behavior from the store, manager or district manager as they again allege they "called" but on cell number. It proves no such call has ever been received!

Now the store has final say if they will fill controlled substance just to CYA - since caught in lies blaming insurance company. Then even after 3 trips to store to note on file the controlled medication. Then 1 week in advance to order. Then at store there is always every month a "problem". When asked for printout of problem - they cannot produce. Then called the day of refill of controlled medication at 8:00 am they told me to come at 10:00 am. I come and was 1st told of a problem with insurance company when asked for printout - they cannot produce. Then told they did know I was coming in after they told me the time to come in - 2 hours prior. Then as usual wait time of over 1 hour.

Customer relations gives me a district manager number who is on maternity leave, so of course messages not returned. Another 5 hours seeking a live person. Spoke to the district manager with apologies of unprofessional behavior - sending a gift card. Then date of refill for controlled medication today. Told the store will no longer fill medication but neither the district manager nor store had the professional courtesy to call - after receiving an apology from district manager prior.

CVS fails to fill any medication on date of prescription of controlled medication even after 3 trips per their request. Always a wait time. Will never be given a supervisor. When caught in a web of their lies after I pre-approved with insurance company to prevent continued behavior. I am always required to wait over 1 hour while other customers hand and receive their prescription. Calling in advance to ask them when I can come pick up prescription - still doesn't cut time down. When questioned, they’re confused. Customers are insulted without any basis since they ran out of anyone else to blame. If this is the behaviors - not surprised of their low rating, horrible unprofessional customer service. Outright lies and insults. But always a refusal to be given anyone of authority.

The pharmacy outrageous behavior, slanderous accusations really, outright lies makes you question their training, standards of personnel - and beware of your medication you might receive! Maybe the district manager returning from maternity leave will give a call - highly doubt it. Maybe Mark ** allegedly the East Coast corporate supervisor might return a call - highly doubt that. But will receive apologies and promises of gift cards. I would never spend another penny in any CVS - losing approximately $200 in store products. Nor can you trust that you would receive the correct medication with the very low standards of pharmacy personnel as they just lie covering their behavior and when all else fails and proven lies - blame the customer!

When I called on 1/28/2015 to ask them for refund on my order that was never received, I was put on hold for 1 hour, 10 minutes. The gentleman told me I had to wait until the product was returned to them before they would issue a credit (even though it was their error) and that there was no manager for me to speak to. I have never in my life experienced such poor, disappointing customer service.

I dropped off my son's prescription to be filled and the assistant told me it would be ready in one hour. I told them thank you and that my husband would be there after he got off work. I called the pharmacy to make sure the prescription was ready, waited on hold for ten minutes without speaking to anyone and hung up. When my husband showed up to the pickup line there were four cars in front of him, so he parked and went in the store. At the pharmacy there were six people waiting, at the drop off two people and at the consultation one person.

After twenty minutes, my husband was asked how could he be helped. He told them he was there to pick up a prescription. The assistant looked and the prescription wasn't ready. There were two assistants and one pharmacist working. My husband was told that they were filling orders and they were a little behind. Twenty minutes later my husband asked about the prescription and it still wasn't ready. The pharmacist mix the wrong amounts. So five minutes after the prescription was finally filled. This CVS pharmacy has always been slow, but this was horrible. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was instructed to bring in my prescription three days before the date it was to be filled, which I gladly did. The pharmacy told me the medicines were ordered and come back in three days. I did return three days later, being out of my medicine and having a perfectly good prescription to fill. The same pharmacist told me she has not ordered the medicine, and will not order it. She told me to go try some place else. So very hard on me, she lied to me and made me go without medicine I have been on almost twenty years. I can't begin to explain how scared I was to be without my medicine. She seemed to enjoy doing this to me and had no feelings for what She put me through, and didn't give a darn about what might come of me without my medicine.

I take a medication that helps me stay off of prescription pain killer. Problem started almost 10 years. I dropped off my prescription and only got 5 days worth of the medication due to price. There is now a blizzard about to hit our area and i called them to fill the rest before the storm drops 3 feet of snow. They refused to give me the rest of my medication because i now need to wait to the 5th day to get the rest. That 5th day is right in the middle of the blizzard and only 24 hours from this post. What happens when the roads are covered with feet of snow? They expect me to drive through the blizzard to pick up the rest of my medication. Risk my life because they look at me as an addict and not as a normal person. I love being judged by someone who doesn't care about you when their work is done. CVS is awful and they love to be your Doctor any chance they can.

I go every month attempting to get a prescription filled. I am always told they don't have it in stock. Yesterday, I was told they had it and it would be ready by 5pm. I called and they said "no, 7pm." I called this morning and was told they didn't have it in stock. Now I had to change my plans for today and run around looking for my medicine.

My son had a RX for **. The CVS on hwy 98 in Panama City is where we always go to fill scripts. They didn't have the medication... And that's fine, I understand that they won't always have it in stock. HOWEVER the man refused to call another CVS to see if anyone else had it. He said because it was a controlled drug they couldn't do that. I worked in Pharmacy for many years and we did that for our customers on a daily basis. So I called another CVS myself. The lady was very nice and told me they did have it in stock.

My question is...WHY would they give that information out to a customer but not another CVS store??? I think that reason would be called LAZINESS!!!! I am not happy... The man on hwy 98 needs a swift kick in the butt!!! Shame on him.

They always tell me they can't fill it, they don't have it, and it's ridiculous that I can't go to my corner pharmacy to fill my prescription. Terrible.

CVS messed up big time yesterday, sending me the wrong drug. I went to my gynecologist yesterday and she increased my dose on my hormone medications. So my doctor called in my medications to CVS. I called Rick and ask him if he could pick them up for me, he did and when I open the bag I didn't recognize one of the bottles. So I called my daughter that works at a pharmacy and she was shocked to see that my gynecologist prescribed 60 ** 10-325. She told me NOT to take it, she called CVS immediately and ask why they sent this narcotic drug. They checked and admitted that they sent me the wrong drug.

I didn't know what it was and I was thinking it might be a generic hormone drug and my doctor did increased my meds from 1 pill to 2 pills a night. My daughter told me if I had taken 2 pills, it could have hurt me. CVS ask if we would return them as soon as possible, so my daughter returned them this morning on her way to work.

My mother, due to insurance issues, was required to change pharmacies. The local CVS opted to do her over 12 prescriptions piecemeal, instead of as a complete account. This is a very understaffed and small pharmacy, was noted in the area for arrogant employees and poor service. This last week, they actually lost a prescription. Imagine it, a heart medication, into the air. Mother called to verify that the prescription was due. The arrogant employee responded something to the effect that "the prescription is not due yet. You can get it if you want, but it will cost 2 1/2 times the insurance cost." Mother then called her previous pharmacist (Rite Aid) for assistance, which must have been rendered, because less than 3 hours later we got a "courtesy call" from CVS saying that the prescription was ready to pick up.

I don't know if the rest of you have a problem with this, but a mere corporation's blocking a member of the "Greatest Generation's" prescriptions because of arrogance and ignorance is not acceptable. Rest assured, at the first opportunity, CVS will have lost a prescription customer.
