I have a concern in the New Rock Hill area Wal-Mart. The store has not worked with college students, such as scheduling. Students are not in control with their college schedules. They are part-time workers. The managerials are hard to work with and hard to reach. If you have a doctor's excuse, you are still considered an unexcused absence. This can frighten students, because they need to work. The store should be held accountable. The quality of education for our children must be acknowledged. Students are our tomorrow. Wal-Mart cannot play by only Wal-Mart rules. They must be in compliance with other retailers. I still love to shop at Wal-Mart, and I will continue to shop at Wal-Mart. This is an issue that certainly and easily can be resolved. I trust that this matter will be handled quickly.

I purchased an RCA TV in November 2007. The sound quit working and was told by my local repair shop that they could not get the part to fix this (signal module) because China had a freeze on the parts. I have tried calling RCA and was talking to someone in the Philippines. They said they would replace the TV and have someone from the United States call me. It never happened. After many calls to RCA, I got some office in the USA. They could not help me. I called Wal-Mart’s 1-800-wal-mart. They said they would get back with be in couple of days (never happened). I have, for the last 3 days, been calling Wal-Mart’s 1-800 all hours of the day and night and get nothing but a busy signal. What can I do? I have an RCA TV, paid $575.00 and cannot get it fixed or replaced. Consequences: lots of time and aggravation.

The dreaded pop and then nothing. I bought the TV on 9/8/08. It popped on 9/21/09 and like all the others, it was out of warranty. I’m still waiting for ITI to return a phone call from 3 days ago. I talked to one live person at ITI and she transferred me to the "out of warranty people.” I called at least 5 times and never got to talk to anyone in the out of warranty department. I would not recommend anyone to buy their junk! Count me in on the lawsuit!

Just a few comments about the pet departments at Walmart: I am the department manager over Pets at my Walmart. The reasons why the fish and tanks are in bad shape at some stores are many. You may get a "bad" order from the hatchery. I’ve had customers tamper with my tanks, putting Bettas in with other fishes, moving some fish into tanks with aggressive fishes. The main reason is that there are not enough associates to keep up with the responsibilities.
As of right now, I am the only person operating the pet department. I have to keep up the responsibilities of a department manager as well as what any of my associates would do, including stocking, and cleaning the fish tanks. I take pride in my department and wish I had more help, but until I do, I will strive to do the best I can. Please, if you have any complaints, talk to the store manager and then go above them to the district manager, then above them. There are plenty of Walmart associates who care about doing a great job for our customers!

I was returning some seat covers without my receipt ($19.96). Lynn took my seat covers, then I went back to exchange them. I came back, and Lynn was gone. Jasmine waited on me. I told her I was exchanging the covers because they did not fit. She asked me if I had a receipt. I said no. I was just wanted to exchange. The seat covers did not have a UPC code on them. I told her I bought them that way, and she didn't believe me.
Then, she asked the associate to go look for the same one I had because I had no receipt and she needed a UPC. The boy came back and said that there were no covers like that back there. I said yes and that there was about 6 or 7 like that. He said, "No, there's not any back there." I told him where they were in automotive and that they're with no UPC code also. Then Jasmine said to me "That's not what the associate said."
Jasmine then called a CSM and told her I had no receipt and no UPC and had none like that in the store. I told the CSM "Yes, you do" and told her how many and one with UPC code. She told me to go get her one. I came back with 2 of the same covers, one with UPC and one without. Jasmine let another customer go before me. I went to another line and told the lady how rude Jasmine was. She heard me, and she came over to me and said, "How did I give you a hard time. There are procedures we have to follow." Then I said, "I am going to lunch. I am not a thief, and I did not appreciate being treated like one. I did not steal those covers, and I did not like the way." She replied, "I did." You should make sure your people have respect for other people and have good people skills before they can work at the customer service desk

I was shopping for pet fish that day, February 7. As I approached the pet section, I saw that the fish tanks were filthy. Some fish were floating around dead and some of their water haven't been changed in so long the water was extremely low. I went and got an employee. She looked at the situation and went to get a manager. The manager had an attitude, like it was no big deal and said, "Okay, we'll deal with this later." I said, "Wow! You're just going to leave it like this!" She told the employee to clean it up. I just left the store in disgust and purchased my fish somewhere else.

I bought the coffee maker and it leaked every time I made coffee. So, I took it back to Wal-Mart. And again the same thing, so I then took it back after several uses. When I took it back, they said this would be the “last time”. I also got no tank filter this time. After several days, it too began leaking. I took it apart and found the leak, which is the pickup tube that is made for 2 O-rings at each end but only has 1. I went to the hardware store and get 4 O-rings. And after putting it all back together, guess what? No leaks and great coffee. You would think that for the cost of 2 little O-rings, going back and forth could have been prevented. You might want to tell Production to spend the 5 cents and use better judgment because honestly, I love the coffee maker, but the hassle could have been prevented.

I had just made a purchase, a hair dryer to be specific. Anyhow, I walked out of the store and the alarm beeped. Not a big deal, it happens a lot. So I stopped and allowed them to review my receipt. To my surprise, the employee started opening up the box of the hair dryer frantically. I asked him what he was doing and he abruptly told me to "shut up" in a loud, stern voice, loud enough for other patrons to hear. Needless to say, I was mortified. I again tried to speak and the employee, in his exact words, told me, "to shut the hell up, you **. I know there is something in this box." Needless to say, there was nothing other than the hair dryer I purchased. I was speechless. Never have I had an experience like this in my life. I love Walmart and shop there regularly. However, I do not believe after this experience I can return. I was completely humiliated in front of the staff and other patrons watching in disbelief. I now wish I had gotten this person's name but in the midst of everything, I grabbed my hair dryer (now out of the box) and left.

How is it possible that Wal-Mart is allowed to sell Hartz flea control drops for cats, after the Department of Agriculture has deemed this product toxic and unsafe and numerous lawsuits have been filed against Hartz? I feel not only is Hartz responsible for adversely effecting dogs and cats, but Wal-Mart is also responsible for continuing to stock and sell these deathly products. How can Wal-Mart be held responsible and be made to do the ethical thing and remove these products from their shelves? My cat is only one of thousands who had negative reactions to this product, and I want more than my money back from Wal-Mart. I want justice. Thank you.

After entering more personal data than I would normally do, the Walmart site stated that I would have to make a purchase at three of several sites listed to be eligible for the award of the card. I terminated the data entry at that point. Oh, oh! Too late! I've been receiving about 20+ unsolicited emails from these Walmart vendors daily since I filled out their "Free Chance" promotion. On 09/01/09, my wife purchased with a credit card 4 tetra fish at $1.84 each. She has had fish for at least 25 years and is good at caring for them. Within 24 hours all 4 fish died. She went back to the store on 09/04/09 with the receipt (as it says on the bag) to get a replacement of the 4 fish. The store clerk told her that after death, she should have frozen the fish and brought them back to the store as proof that they died. The clerk said that it is written on the bag to do this procedure.
First of all, it is not written anywhere to do such a gross thing. And secondly, why would any human being that loves fish do such an inhumane thing? What happened to the trust that a 67-year-old great-grandmother should get? All she wanted to do was replace the fish that she didn’t get to enjoy. She has since purchased some new ones (from the same store) and they are doing well. The total cost of the lost fish was $7.95 (tax included). It is not the lost cost, it is the fact of what the clerk wanted her to do. Anything that you can do to rectify the situation would be welcome. We are a faithful Wal-Mart customers and enjoy shopping at your stores.

Today, I went to pick up my site to store package at the Walmart in Glenolden, PA. I pushed the button for someone to help me, waited 10 minutes just to have someone come and tell me to come back in 30 minutes. But I had shopping to do so I calmly said okay and came back only to hit the button, wait another 10 minutes, and have multiple people come back and say they didn't know how to do it and they would find someone who could help.
Apparently, there was an issue going on in the bathroom and that is what these people were responding to - not me. I eventually got so annoyed that I just left. This is the second time I have had an issue with the site to store process - at two different stores. It seems that very few of the staff are trained in this department and it's a major issue. I am dreading having to go back there and almost want to just ask for a refund and go somewhere else. There should be a disclaimer on the order site stating that you may have to wait up to an hour to pick up your product once at the store!

I stopped at this Walmart to pick up a P/X and some grocery items. I came up to check out and there were only about five lanes open plus, a ten items or less lane at the Tobacco Stand. This lane was moving very slow. I observe a gentleman watching over the cashiers and suggested that he should open more lanes. His answer to me was: “Why don't you go over to St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima and get the cashier who is there.” I found this very offensive and told him so. Upon arrival at home, I called the store and found out the manager was on vacation and I talked to an assistant by the name of Tom. He did not even ask for my name or phone number. In the future, I am pulling my and my wife’s P/X out of Walmart and will take them to Kroger. As I am in a service profession, this would never go.

I bought an Acer laptop from Walmart and also bought the 3-year extended warranty. Not ever at any time did anyone explain this warranty to me, what it covers and not. I was too excited at the time to ask. Two years later, time for service and they sent it first to a company in California that repaired it somewhat. Four days later, it was broken again and the customer service people at Walmart sent it to this company in Florida. Well, lo and behold, they could not fix it because they said it had liquid spilled on it. Now why did the company in California repair it and never state liquid spilled in it until they were back into a corner by Walmart and they gave in to saying there was also fluid spilled in it? I am a grown woman and have no children at home. I think I am a little smarter than they gave me credit for. Therefore, $800+ and a broken laptop.

The checker, as most of them are in this store, has an ‘I don't care’ attitude and I'm going to take my slow time on checking you out. This checker walked extremely slow to the front of my buggie to scan a large item. I asked her, "I don't think you're in a big hurry today." She said, "Nope, gonna be a long day." I said, "Well, maybe I need to take your advice." So I took my darn well slow time on getting my debit card through the machine clicking, slowing. I acted just like she did. Ridiculous! She just grumped and handed my bag to me. I don't think she likes it when someone treats her that way. This is not the first time I have had bad experience in this store. Economically, people will go elsewhere for good customer service. The store clerks on the store floor will not take you and show you where something is, they point and say "Over there." I tried to get help at the customer service desk and was refused.
I asked to talk to the customer service manager and they said he said he was busy and couldn't deal with it right now. What is wrong with the store in Stuttgart, Arkansas? Customer service is the lowest I have ever seen there. I hate the store and my friends feel the same way! I work at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas there in Stuttgart and many employees there are dissatisfied. Please train your people to wear a smile and that the customer needs assistance, and the customer is always right! That's a good business tactic to follow. Thank you for your time.

After 3 days of searching Walmart and driving to 4 stores, one of the most helpful associates who took time take care in Oceanside Store "**" let me know that the laptop "Toshiba for $498" was available in Temecula and gave me their telephone number. After verifying that had 4, and I mean verified 4 of these laptops, I drove from Bonsall to Temecula and was given an open laptop. My husband who worked for Sanyo Fisher for 21 years looked at the box upon my return (1 1/2 hours) and said it was opened and the factory seal had been broken. Looking inside, it was very obvious it was a used model.
Now, after driving 1 1/2 to pick up a model I searched for in 4 different stores and online, I picked up a laptop that I have to bring back because no one checked or maybe it is your policy? I should have checked when they couldn't scan it and I couldn't find it displayed, but it was never given to me to inspect. ** at your Oceanside/College 76 dept. warned me, and he should receive the employee of the year award. The people at the Temecula store should have made absolutely sure they knew I was driving from Bonsall. What a waste of time.
Now, my son who this was for is 18 and I have to somehow return this drive, work and get hopefully a real factory Toshiba laptop. Very unhappy Walmart shopper who will go somewhere for electronics and pass the work. Too bad for Toshiba. Consequences: open, factory seal destroyed, UPC code cut off and everything was opened obvious return repacked. Too bad, I was warned.

I have always been disappointed with Wal-Mart's service in the Glenmont, NY area, but, lately, it seems to have gotten even worse. This location recently remodeled, which would seem like an improvement. Instead, it has been a hassle and several items were not restocked once the store was finished. At least 10 new registers were added to this location - totaling about 30 in all - yet, I have never seen more than 8 registers lit up and open at a time. The express lanes are backed up with people just wanting to buy one item, but must wait almost as long as those in regular item lanes.
When waiting in one of these express lines about a week ago, the woman at the register next to me turned off her light. She proceeded to tell the last woman in a line of 3 people - who had been waiting for about 10 minutes - that her lane was now closed and she would have to go to a new one. The woman angrily walked away to a non-express lane with 4 items to wait again. Less than 2 minutes later, the woman at the register saw a person who had gotten into line behind me (after the whole closing ordeal) and told her, "come on up here, I can check you out!" This just does not seem right to me. Her light was off, and as she made clear to everyone around, she had closed her lane. A new person should not have been helped at that register.
Now, I would have complained to customer service at the time, but since it did not affect me directly I tried to let it go. There was also a too-long line of about 10 people at the customer service desk, with only one person working - another problem with several Wal-Marts in my opinion.

While returning items that one of my kids received as a gift (we already had both of these movies), the customer service person told me that I was going to be penalized since I did not have a receipt! I did not have a receipt because it was a gift and since the movies were never opened and they both clearly came from Walmart, then what was the issue? Apparently, a consumer can only return so many items a year and then they become penalized. Well, I am a social worker and have a variety of patients who I work with, and many of these patients have loved ones that live out of town or out of state. These patients receive items from loved ones and if the item does not fit, broken, wrong color or for whatever reason the patient is not able to get out one of their own and wishes to have the item returned or exchanged, that is where I come into play.
I help out my patients by returning or exchanging items for them and I have done this for many years without ever having a problem. Some items I have to return and go to Target, some to Kmart and some to JCPenny's and I have never had a problem. With my recent and probably last visit to Walmart, I was informed that I was going to be penalized for returning items. What does that mean? Am I being banned from purchasing at Walmart? If I purchase an item and it is broken, then I cannot return it? Just what does a penalty at Walmart actually means? And I should add, you are Walmart! Not a large department store like Macy's, you're Walmart!
When I asked Target, Kmart, Kohl's and JC Penny's if they had a penalty policy that I should be aware of, I was laughed at and was told that they would never treat their customers that way by threatening them with such things as a penalty. Well thank God they have enough respect for their customers! I have been passing the word about your penalty policy and honestly, I have been laughed at because it is funny. I will continue to pass the word about what a joke Walmart is and I should be able to reach a lot of people through Facebook! Is Walmart a convenience?

First, I would like to compliment the Mitchell, SD store. They do a good job keeping the shelves stocked on busy days and they have many benches to sit and rest on; that is important to many customers and they have a good layout of the floor. Now about the Pierre, SD store, we have to travel 60 miles one way to get there and when we do, most of the time, the shelves are empty of the standard products. The last three trips to the store they did not have any Zesta crackers on the shelf and once I asked if they would get some from the stock room and I was told they didn't have any. Shouldn't common sense tell the management that the products that go off the shelves the most and fastest be stocked and checked more often and order more of that product to begin with?
We spend around $600 to $1000 at your stores every month but we have found that it is getting much easier just to go across town to the stores that have what we need when we need it. The other problem is the resting benches. I think there is only four in the store and none of them are located on the store side of the check outs, unlike the Mitchell store (they have three) in that location which makes me think the Mitchell store cares more about the needs of their customers. I have asked the management in Pierre to take a look at the Mitchell store in order to improve the Pierre store, but nothing has changed. So my wife asked if we start shopping at Mitchell again even if it is a 200 mile round trip, we just might. The Wal-Mart stores would not take my mother's check for the needed medication, Seravent for COPD. I knew there had to be a mistake because my mother had over $2,000 in her checking account. My name was on the check and the check that was refused was because my name was on the check. The company Wal-Mart hired to check checks for purchases said I bounced a check with Wal-Mart. My husband was in the car waiting for me and I took him home and picked up my checking account statement to prove it was impossible for me to bounce a check and returned to Wal-Mart.
When I walked in to Wal-Mart and asked to see the manager knowing no one else could help me, the counter help girl yelled for security. When the security person came, I told him he could not help me with this mess; he would need to call for the manager. The assistant manager came to my aide and for two hours with my bank statement, my driver's license, my checkbook (which I trusted him with as he went behind closed doors) and after over two hours of standing in Wal-Mart, the check company got on the phone with me after all their denials of me doing any wrong, put me with their accounting department. They explained to me that when I gave Wal-Mart my check, the cashier who put it in the register did not do it properly which cut off part of my account number.
Mind you, they had my check with my name, address, city, state, zip and phone number and couldn't call me for the balance of the number. In addition to all this, their counter girl who called security, continuously harassed me by discussing my situation as a check bouncer with customers and she gave me a fit for using the phone that the assistant manager asked me to use to straighten this matter out.
I am very disturbed that this was the beginning of my vacation and I was accused of bouncing a check even with the proof that I had a few thousands dollars in the account during the whole month of August. My mother was denied her needed medication because of no problem that we caused. Also, to date, my check has not cleared and I gave them all the information they needed. I do not think that as large as Wal-Mart is, they could not work things out. Even after they knew the problem, they still would not take my check. And lastly, I resent the attitude of the counter help gossiping about me when she did not have the true facts.

If you visit any Wal-Mart in Chicago, prepare for "Ghetto mentality treatment." This includes, but is not limited to:
1) Employees pulling out cell phone cameras and taking your picture if they see you complaining to the manager about filthy conditions or poor customer service. The employees believe that if you complain about their behavior, you are a "snitch." (I believe they do this to share the photo of the "snitch" with other employees.) This enables them to treat certain customers worse than usual if they visit that store again.
I will explain this again. Ghetto Wal-Mart employees will publicly pull out their cell phones in the middle of the store (or they will follow the customer into the restroom and take a picture). The reason why they do this is because they may have witnessed the customer complain to management about long lines, rude employees, or filthy conditions. These pictures will then be sent to other Wal-Mart employees, who have the same "Ghetto mentality." Think of it as "putting the word out" on a customer. This allows all employees to treat that customer even worse, if they visit that same Wal-Mart or other Wal-Marts who have seen that customer's picture. I have primarily seen this behavior at the Wal-Mart located at 4650 W. North Ave., Chicago, IL 60639 with contact number (773) 252-7465.
2) Unprofessional "under cover" security guards following customers all over the store.
3) Employees loudly discussing their personals lives, which usually consist of how they beat their children, out-of-wedlock children, baby daddies and mamas, imprisoned significant others, disorderly conduct arrest, and the verbal admiration of co-workers' hair weaves.
4) Filthy products, restrooms, and overall disarray of the store. How can the products in the store be covered with dirt and grime? They have shelves full of products covered in filth.
Several people responded to this review, and I am shocked at how many people support Wal-Mart's poor employee behavior. Here's one for you: I went to a Wal-Mart in White Plains. The lady at the door scanning returns said she was the co-manager. She was dressed in a sloppy green dress with a huge wig and too much makeup. She has no uniform, name tag, or anything to identify her as being an employee. She did have a huge grease stain on the front of her dress. She was slow and inefficient and a slob. On top of that, she was loud and obnoxious. I asked her her name, and she told me "Manager Beverly."
Employees at Wal-Mart are more pathetic than anything else. I kind of feel sorry for them. I'm not upset with the employees. I believe these employees are not trained properly. Now, I haven't submitted any formal complaint to Wal-Mart about their employees. But judging by the responses to this complaint, I believe I need to take this a step further.
I want to thank everyone who responded to my complaint. I believe the way that Wal-Mart employees behave is a direct result from how poorly they are trained and treated by the upper management at Wal-Mart. Please continue to respond to my complaints. Your comments are very helpful. I know a lot of other people who have had the same experiences I have had. I am confident they would also like to see a few changes at Wal-Mart.
There have been several occasions where I've seen Wal-Mart employees stealing from the cash register. This is how they do it: I give the cashier $10 for a purchase, but they give me a receipt that stated I gave them $20. I usually don't catch this until I get home. There have been times when the cashier have failed to give me a receipt for a purchase. Once I make it home from the store, I empty my pockets and notice I only have the cash the cashier handed me and no receipt. I feel very passionate about this issue. For years, I have experienced appalling, if not illegal, behavior from Wal-Mart employees. I am ready to put an end to it. This site has helped me to realize that I don't have to put up with poor customer service from Wal-Mart anymore. I do not want other customers treated the way I have been treated.
Thanks for letting me know that without pictures, everything I say is "hearsay." I suppose I didn't want to get involved. I just wanted to vent, and maybe, things would change over time. Now I realize Wal-Mart will never change if customers don't complain directly to corporate. I've read the other Wal-Mart complaints and responses to those complaints. I believe the people defending Wal-Mart are Wal-Mart employees.
I encourage any customer, who has a grievance with Wal-Mart, to please submit a formal complaint documenting names, times, and detailed description of what happened - along with a copy of your receipt. I believe if everyone complains, maybe Wal-Mart's customer service will improve. This complaint is for 2 Wal-Marts located in Chicago: 1300 Des Plaines Ave., Forest Park, IL 60130, (708) 366-3608 and 4650 W. North Ave., Chicago, IL 60639, (773) 252-7465.

I prefer to be able to choose whether I want an "off brand" or one that I like much better. Please take into consideration your customers and the fact that they would like a "choice" in their purchases. If this continues and I can't purchase the brands I want, then I will be forced to go elsewhere to do my weekly shopping. Thank you for taking the time to read my 'complaint'.

I recently reported an accident that occurred at my local Walmart here at Copperas Cove, TX. This happened approximately at 2:45pm at 08/22/09. I was in the refreshment isle picking up a 24 pack of Pure Life bottled water which was placed on a stack at least 5 1/2 feet high. When I proceeded to put the package in my cart, the next package had slid off the stack and onto my shin and foot area. When this occurred, there was a worker placing the Sam's Choice water onto stacks less than 5ft. away and did not bother to ask if I was okay. I even said, "Ouch," because it did hurt me. Those 24 packs of bottled water are not light (about 30 pounds) and coming off of a shelf that is at least 5ft. high, it felt like 100 pounds. I was nice enough to put the package back up on the shelf upside down.
I left the isle in search of a manager, and felt I should have gotten the associate's name. I went back to the isle and the associate was not there. I also noticed the water pack I had put back on the stack was moved into the upright position. At this time, my shin had started to burn from where the package had fallen on me. I went to check out and asked the cashier where I was to go to file an incident report. She called the manager and I proceeded to explain what had happened to me and filled out a report.
I went home and looked at my shin. It is bruised and swollen from where the 24 pack of water had fallen on to me. I called my local authorities and told them what happened. They had told me to contact Walmart to find out the procedure for this type of accident. I have already taken pictures of the area where the package had fallen onto me. I would like to find out information on how to file a formal suit regarding this incident.
I feel as a large and well-known company, safety should be a priority. The packages of water bottles should have been on shelves, rather than one shelf staked up sky-high. This incident may have been avoided if proper shelving was in use. If I had put the package of water under the cart, I could have had serious back/neck injury. I have always been a satisfied customer; however, this incident has put a damper on what I felt was a decent department store.

The one manager told me I was not able to come to work that night though had to wait and talk with the main manager when he came in next. I came in when the main manager was there, and he told me that for the time being, they had to let me go.
In November 2008, my case was proven to be false and my record was erased. I sent my case files as proof that my case was erased to Wal-Mart's home office. I told her that I would be the one that would control it and she still wouldn't give it to me not until I said that I would report this. There are people that don't need it, that I see them give it to and someone that really needs it can't have it, ** and I took it.
So we went on and got the things we needed and as I was going to go out and give it back, she tells me you can take it out to bring her to the car. What is it with you people? It isn't until someone stands up and says something about reporting this, is when they tell you here you can have it to use. My granddaughter has CP and I think people like the ones you have working at your door should be more understanding for some people that can't move around and that has to use the carts. Therefore, I will be going somewhere else to get the things I need and there are others I know that need the carts and will go somewhere else to shop also, because of your door people that will not let them use what they need to shop.

The lazy ones are allowed to sit in the manager's office and chat with some of the assistant managers for hours, while others supposedly doing the same job are out on the floor doing all the work. The lazy ones are allowed to do this, because they bring food, Starbucks, and presents to some of the assistant managers. Then, in turn, these so-called managers allow the lazy ones to sit in the office and get promotions without giving the hard workers an interview.
Also, the hard workers are constantly chastised by assistant managers, because the lazy ones are in the manager's office talking falsehoods about the hard workers. That way, if they are talking about others, then the lazy ones feel better about their selves. Favoritism runs ramped in this stores. So many really good employees have left for other jobs and been promoted because of that hard work.

My complaint is everyone, including Wal-Mart, is selling the eco-friendly shopping bags; but God forbid, you take them in there to use on a grocery shopping trip. I don't think in their training, they go over packing them. You use them just like you do the regular plastic bags people. You don't put the chocolate donuts up on end or turn the cakes on their side, or put 15 cans of dog food in one bag just because you can. I'm just really tired of the "look" I get every time I say I have my own bags, and I'm a nice person, so I haven't said anything, because what I want to say is "Keep the attitude, you sold me the bags, and by the way, I will bag my own groceries," which by the way, I end up doing most of the time.
Don't tell me how eco-friendly you are as a company, when this crap happens every time I go to a Wal-Mart; and believe me, I've changed Wal-Marts more than once. When I found out they are all that way, I just go to the one closest to me and prepare for the snotty cashier.

We had spent around $280 for miscellaneous items on 8/14/09, including a small pork loin roast. The meat looked lean, was well within the date on it and just the right size for the two of us ($5.04). We left the store approximately 1:15 went straight home, put the meat in the fridge to prepare around 3:30. I started cutting the plastic it was sealed in and a strong odor began emitting. I cut it open a little more and had hubby use his sniffer. "That's rotten" were his words. He put his shoes back on, took the meat that I had left inside the plastic and had tied up inside a Wal-Mart bag as snugly as I could.
On a Friday afternoon, one person working in customer service (now they are also in the business of Mr. Payroll cashing some payroll checks) made for a very, very long line. My husband had to wait about 25 minutes and someone (could not read her name as it was so covered with stickers) whose badge read Risk Dept was called to assist CS. Her manner showed this did not please her. As most act, it is beneath their status with the store to be called to work a register as they have a radio.
She, of course, was the clerk my unfortunate husband ended up in front of (finally). She queried him as to when the meat was bought, what time it was bought as he is standing there with the receipt in his hand for her. He told her about 2 and 1/2 hours ago and that he wanted his money back for the spoiled meat. She told him to just go pick out another package. He informed her that he did not want another pack of any meat, just the $5.04 spent and that he had asked me to never buy any food products at Wal-Mart again.
She finally counted out the money to him. No way was she going to open that bag as by this time it was really reeking. She just threw the bag over behind her as she was miffed at even having to deal with a shopper (guess not her job). I would not be the least bit surprised to find that 5 or 6 hours later that same piece of meat being put back on the meat shelf for some other unfortunate shopper to take home had I not cut the packaging along its side, but would not swear it didn't get put back anyway.
We have seen frozen food sitting in the shoe dept, fresh meat in automotive. Management here in Odessa would say, "Oh, nothing like that goes on in this store" as we have been told that by managers in the past regarding previous shopping experiences. No more food comes into this house from Wal-Mart nor jugs of tea that are soured at their opening on the day of purchase! I just wish someone in corporate would do whatever is necessary to fix this store, but calling 1-800 Wal-Mart is about as satisfactory as the associates with "How May I Help You" plastered on their vests. If you make eye contact with them, they run the other way as fast as they can (probably as fast as they have moved all day). The attitude is "I showed up. You expect me to work too?"
Come on, consumers. They may be big, but give the local grocery stores, Target, Dollar General, etc. your bucks for a while and even this giant will feel the pinch.

First off, I work as a supervisor with Wal-Mart stores. I'm tired of hearing all these complaints about the associates, the stock, and customer service. You need to realize that these associates, including middle- to lower-level managers are under constant pressure and are not being compensated for their work load salary-wise. You have to deal with upper management complaints on top of the same customer complaints I probably hear more than three times a day.
I think people come to these stores and let their frustrations out on the associates. If, as a customer, you have a complaint, take it up with a store manager, co-manager, or assistant manager; or call home office. Any other supervisor or associate will not have the authority or information to do something about your frivolous complaints. I'm surprised more associates don't snap and attack some of these customers. I've seen this happen.
We're human. We don't make as much as you think working here, for most. This place is their only option for a job. I, as with a lot of other associates, hope to see some of you whiners off the clock, so we can handle the situation outside of your safety blanket of mindless Wal-Mart lawsuits. My advice is show Wal-Mart associates some decency and humanity, and you will be surprised how helpful they can be.

They advised me 10 days later that the TV was not repairable and someone from the warranty department would get a hold of me. Seven days later in fact there was a message on my answering machine saying they were shipping out a new TV. I received the TV and there was no picture, just sound. I immediately called the warranty company back and they said that someone will get a hold of me the next business day.
Five days later I finally called them back. Three days later, I received a call again on my answering machine directing me to take the TV to my local Walmart. This is where it got interesting. The gentleman at Walmart told me they do not handle that brand only their on line stores do. I said no problem I would just get a different model. The original purchase price of my TV was $988.00. The one they sent me was $550.00. So needless to say, the store would only credit the $550.00 not the $988.00. So, I dragged the TV back home and again explained my dilemma. They assured me someone would call. No one called so I called back. Again, was told someone would get with me by the close of business. I stayed on the phone till I could get an answer, at which time, I finally was told basically tough take it up with the manufacturer.
I was never rude to these people and only asked for a resolution to my problem and waited patiently. I have now contacted Walmart Customer Help line. They have told me someone will get back to me in 2 business days. The TV has been broken for a month. Oh, when I called after I received the TV, the guy I spoke to said I accepted the resolution. I was never given any options. They left a message saying this is what they were shipping. The warranty stated they will replace with something as good or better. This is not the case. I just thought you might want to know. The number stamped on the bottle is 14:32 CT133-8 Best by 070710.

Then, the first one went out on 8-11-09, and then they couldn’t take it back. I had to wait on a serviceman to come out. That one was bought for my mom. She has a lot of health problems. They only have a month and a half in store warranty. I think they should have a longer in store warranty, a lot of their electronics and small appliances are not any good.
My mom has asthma, COPD, and osteoporosis. She couldn’t come to my home because I have 6 dogs and a cat. She has trouble breathing around them, so she had to stay in the heat and had a hard time because of her health. I think they should have a longer in store warranty.

Several months back, I persuaded Wal-Mart's home office to install sanitary wipes for the grocery cart handles as they are filthier than an outhouse door knob. And the store in question did so, for a while. I emailed the home office after the store manager's complacency and total ignorance got the best of me and they assured me (via telephone), the problem would be resolved. It was for a short time. I'm over 70 with COPD. I'm so afraid of communicable diseases. At my visit to this store on 08/10/09 at 2:00 pm PT, I informed a manager (Jason) that there were no sanitary wipes at the entrance. You need to look into this because as I stand there and wait, people are talking how bad the deli is run. The deli girls are very nice, and usually take one at a time, and apologize to each customer for their wait. Most of the time there is no meat in the case and you feel like why I bother coming here. The simple solution to this is to register as a professional. It costs nothing and takes 3 minutes. TV was $600.00 and I feel like Walmart needs to take some responsibility to the customer, instead of customer having to ship to manufacture and being without a TV for God knows how long. Extremely irate about the customer service! I cannot afford to go out and buy another $600 TV or ship to Polaroid for however much it will cost!

Wal-Mart has no customer service. I have been to the material department numerous times and I always have to find someone in sporting goods or the shoe department to get assistance with my material. I usually can't find anyone in those departments either. I quit buying material there and now go to Hobby Lobby 50 miles away. My other complaint is items out of stock or they no longer carry. What is up with that? If they are not always going to carry the item all the time, don't get it at all! How can a grocery store be out of Pork & Beans and Kraft mac & cheese? At the same time, I am weaning myself from this bad store. I have a Dillons store 2 blocks away. It has great customer service. Some things are a little higher price, but beats the headache of Wal-Mart. By the way, Wal-Mart produce is horrible. I wouldn't eat it if they gave it to me for free.

I went to the pet department one night to purchase some joint supplement for my dog. There were only two bottles on the shelf. I picked up the first one and the cap was very loose so I put it back and took the other one. The next morning, when I opened the bottle, it was half empty. I counted only 28 out of 60 pills that were supposed to be in the bottle. These pills are $14.95 a bottle, which I consider to be a fair amount of money to spend but I only get half a bottle.
I returned to the store that same day with my receipt, waited in line for about 10 minutes, only to be told that they could not take back an open bottle. I did not argue, but I was disappointed and walked away. The store greeter who had checked in my package on the way in asked how I had made out, and I explained my problem. She said I should go back and ask to speak to a manager. I did, and I waited in line for another 20 minutes and had to leave for an appointment.
I guess my point is there is a definite problem with this product on the shelf, which the girls at the service desk did not even address. I did not open this bottle and use any, someone must be taking these pills right from the bottle and returning it to the shelf. Who knows what else they could be doing, and I think this is a problem. It's probably not the only product it's happening to. I know I won't be buying them there anymore.

I was just done checking out and walking towards the exit, when I overheard the Wal-Mart store manager telling a manager of another company (that rents space from the Mishawaka Wal-Mart store) that they are not to talk to Wal-Mart customers or employees for any reason. The rental space manager proceeded to tell Wal-Mart's store manager that it was her job to let the public know of their services. The Wal-Mart manager said he didn't care, and that the rental store cannot have any signs pointing out of their rental space facing out towards the customers of Wal-Mart. The rental store manager was about in tears because of the way Wal-Mart manager's tone of voice, and the fact that he was saying that she was not allowed to perform her job to do the duties and standards of their company.
I believe that if someone is paying rent to Wal-Mart or any store for that matter, they shall have the right to promote their product all over their rental property if they want to. This store manager, Larry **, is the most unprofessional store representative that I have ever seen. He should be removed just for the way he made that poor girl feel in front of me and the other customers. I could see that she was completely embarrassed by this man. I will no longer shop Wal-Mart until this man is gone. If he is what Wal-Mart sets their standards to as a store manager, then I will gladly take my money elsewhere.
No man should ever talk to a woman the way he did, especially just for her trying to do what her job trained her to do. I am posting the same complaint in my newspaper, on my website, MySpace, and Facebook. Everyone should know of this horrible man, Larry ** of Mishawaka Wal-Mart. Someone needs to teach him manners of how to talk to a woman, let alone someone paying them rent.

My daughter and her friend were at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago around noon shopping for things they needed to buy (which they did end up buying some products). They were just walking around the store looking at stuff, talking normally to each other. Later they came back at around 8 looking at clothes (they weren't even talking to each other much). When Mike (the manager) came over and asked them in a rude tone if they needed help finding anything, their response was, “No, we're just looking.” Then he rudely stated that they were there several times already that day. He also rudely asked what did they buy last time they were here (which he had no right to know) and he also didn’t give them any time to answer. After he said demandingly they'd need to leave the premises, he also walked them to the door like they were stealing or criminals which made an embarrassing situation for them. Later I came back to the store to complain to him for kicking my daughter and her friend out for simply shopping. He completely changed his excuse and said they were disturbing customers. I responded that they weren't doing so (at this point he was very angry). He stated that he has the right to kick out anyone he wanted.
After this occurred my daughter came home crying because she knew she did nothing wrong. My daughter was very emotionally upset over this; it was a very stressful situation for her. She doesn't feel comfortable going back to Wal-Mart at all, which is where she did a majority of her shopping. This caused her to be scared to even shop at Wal-Mart (which is one the main stores in our town), let alone buy something in fear she would be yelled at for just looking at a product. Her being 17 makes this very challenging for her. I think that Mike owes both girls an apology for the way he treated them. As for a manager, he shouldn't show anger and he should have been more considerate of others’ feelings and talked like a mature adult.

I am writing to voice a complaint against Wal-Mart and to see if someone can help me with an encounter I recently had in one of your stores. I was in need of a new television set. So on July 5, 2009, I began my search online at www.walmart.com to compare several different television sets, 3 in particular, in order to make an informed decision about my purchase.
The 3 television sets I compared indicated differing information as to how they could be purchased - the first said "Out of Stock Online for $648.00," the second said "Not Sold Online for $598.00," and the third said "In Limited Stores for $698.00." The second television set was the one I was interested in, and since Wal-Mart's online website indicated it was not sold online, I clicked the Find in Store button. There were several stores in my area listed, including the Kannapolis, North Carolina store, which was where I went to purchase this television set.
When I went to that store after Wal-Mart's online website directed me to do so, I tried to purchase a Vizio 42" television for your online price of $598.00, which was priced in the store for $697.00. I inquired about purchasing this television for Wal-Mart's online advertised price of $598.00. Imagine my surprise when a sales associate informed me that their store, Wal-Mart, was not affiliated with walmart.com and specifically that Wal-Mart stores do not match walmart.com.
I could not imagine why walmart.com would direct me to a store to purchase an item when the Wal-Mart store will not honor its price. This type of behavior would appear to be along the lines of false advertising and is, at least, a misrepresentation of advertised prices. If walmart.com and Wal-Mart do not match each other's prices, one would think there would be some type of noticeable disclaimer indicating such and/or that walmart.com would operate under a different name since they clearly and obviously, as I have been informed, are not Wal-Mart.
Yet, ironically enough, for example, both entities advertise $4 prescriptions and many other items, which would appear that they do, in fact, consistently operate together. If nothing else, common sense would dictate that if I could not purchase an item online for a set price and was referred to finding a store (not a walmart.com store, but a Wal-Mart store) to purchase said item, that the prices would be the same. Why price an item at all online if you cannot even purchase it online? Where could I purchase this item for the advertised online price?
After my most frustrating experience and while still in the Kannapolis store, I spoke with Pete, the assistant manager about this inconsistency; and I was further given information that Wal-Mart did not match other Wal-Mart prices and/or walmart.com. I later even called 1-800-WAL-MART and spoke with someone named Corissa, who gave me the same spiel. I have now been told by Wal-Mart employees at varying levels (sales associate, assistant manager, and customer service representative) the exact same thing about their inabilities to now make me a satisfied customer. If only Wal-Mart's consistency in telling people what cannot be done would match their inability to be consistent in the pricing of items, I imagine I would not be writing this letter in the first place and fewer people would complain about the treatment they receive at a Wal-Mart store.
I realize that I am only one person and that if I no longer shopped at Wal-Mart, it would make no reflection at all in their sales; but I would think that Wal-Mart would operate its business under the same guidelines and adhere to what should be a high standard of customer satisfaction. I would like to point out 2 statements that I found on Walmart.com:
(1) "The secret of successful retailing is to give your customers what they want. And really, if you think about it from your point of view as a customer, you want everything: a wide assortment of good-quality merchandise; the lowest possible prices; guaranteed satisfaction with what you buy; friendly, knowledgeable service; convenient hours; free parking; a pleasant shopping experience." - Sam Walton (1918-1992); and
(2) Another Mission - Another walmart.com goal providing easy access to more Wal-Mart is evident in the more than 1,000,000 products available online and in the innovative businesses that walmart.com continues to develop, such as Music Downloads and 1-Hour Photos, which gives customers the convenience of ordering products online and picking them up at a local Wal-Mart.
In short, walmart.com is passionate about combining the best of two great worlds - technology and world-class retailing - to give customers a wide assortment of their favorite products, Every Day Low Prices, guaranteed satisfaction, friendly service, convenient hours (24 hours, 7 days a week), and a great online shopping experience.
I have yet to receive friendly service or to have a pleasant shopping experience, nor do I see where either walmart.com or Wal-Mart have provided the best of two great worlds to the consumer. How is it that you can order products online and pick them up at a local Wal-Mart when the two supposedly are not affiliated with each other? No one I spoke with even offered any advice to me as to how I could purchase this television set at the advertised online price. As a matter of fact, they acted as if they could care less about my problem and went about their business, which is how many Wal-Mart associates usually act.
Not once was I even asked what could be done to make me happy, which would appear to me (your average consumer) to be a shining example of true customer service. While realizing that Wal-Mart has the monopoly that it does on retail purchasing, it is my sincere hope that one day they will truly care about their customers, the people who made Wal-Mart what it is today.

I had folded my check to put in my wallet so it had a crease in it. It took a few tries for the cash register to accept it and by this time, the other customer was finished so the cashier, while she did count it as it came from the drawer, just handed it to me. I felt bad for it taking so long for my check to go through and the line was so long that I accepted it without counting it myself and I was comfortable with the cashier. I do know her personally and she has been an employee at Walmart for quite sometime.
I had to go to work that evening and I didn't really count my money until the next morning and was fifty dollars short. I called Walmart and I spoke to a lady named Heather in accounting. Another lady called me back and she said that they checked the tape from the drawer and they were not long and that their protection manager viewed a video tape of the transaction and that the cashier had counted the money back to me twice and he also viewed that it was indeed the correct amount of money.
I asked, "Could I view the tape?" She said that she had never been asked that before and she had to ask someone. She left the phone for half a second and got back on the phone. She said that they could help me no further. I mean that lady tried her best to rush me off the phone. I mean, who was on my side? No one. My department manager, as well as other co-workers, can vouch that I am a good employee. I don't cause any trouble and I always do what is asked and required. I was given a verbal coaching and now I am facing termination. The reason I feel I was unfairly targeted is because over the course of my employment at this particular Wal-Mart, I've seen various employees slacking on the job. When I say slacking, I mean sitting down and not lifting a finger while others are sweating and working hard.
Members of management know who is working and who isn't, yet they refuse to coach those individuals who are not productive. I was singled out for an unjust reason and now I may be out of a job. And for what reason? Their reason lacks merit. I'm a good employee by all definitions, yet they want to get rid of me. Maybe they are trying to cut costs due to the current economic situation our country is facing. I'm not sure, but I don't think it is fair to put someone in unemployment for an unjust reason. I think if you're going to coach or write someone up, be fair about and coach everyone who it applies to and not just a select few that members of management want to get rid of. Be fair across the board - that is all I'm asking. Is that unreasonable?

It's the first thing she said to me when I asked her a question about buying a Vizio 32-inch TV, and I stated there was no TV of the make and size on display. She stated that it's because it's a cheap TV, at which time, she went to the same place in the back where she left me standing there not knowing if she was going back to where she was to start with or going to look.
After a wait, I heard a scratching or dragging sound. When coming through the door, she was dragging the TV (not on a dolly), bending the box, and getting dirt on whatever part of the packing was in contact with the floor at that moment and with total disregard for the groceries in my cart. She threw the TV on my milk bread and everything else in the cart, and she started walking away, while I was trying to ask her a question about the TV. She pulled it out and dragged it over to the counter, where I could ask her a question, since she could not move as fast while pushing the TV.
So, I asked if she could tell me if the remote either lights up or is reflective, at which time, she took out something, opened the box, then complained to me that it's on the bottom. It was not. She then pulled it from the box and dropped it or something else from the box, at which time, I requested to speak to the store manager. She said no and went into the backroom. After a long while, she came out and ignored me; and a short time later, assistant manager Jeff came out and said he would speak to her and ask if he could be of any further help.
I received a call from Dan (store manager), who also apologized for Kelly from electronics on 07/29/09 afternoon. Showed (Kelly) Wal-Mart website printout before all this started had me confused why Wal-Mart website gave the Vizio 32-inch model VOJ32 for $498.00 and a good rating to have Kelly tell me it's garbage. I'm sorry, but not everything tastes good in the Great Value Brand. They don't have near as many grocery selections as they did before, and the prices have gone up significantly. For instance, Duncan Hines Cake mixes have gone up 30 cents. Cereal and crackers are higher. Paper products are higher, and the selection is way down. But, they can get more people comfortably in the aisles now.
You can't buy as much stuff but you can get more people in there. They have no craft section anymore and no fabric section. But, it is "so nice" to be able to walk in a wider aisle. The aisles were fine before. It used to be nice to go to the Cedar Falls Wal-Mart. I would not go to the Waterloo store. It is not as nice and not as clean. On July 25, 2009, we heard a loud boom and went outside to investigate and found the glass top had exploded into thousands of pieces. We worked for several hours picking up and vacuuming the deck, but days later we are still finding small shards everywhere, especially under the deck which is located over the entrance to our walk-out basement. I of course cannot use the deck until I am sure every shard has been picked up and disposed of properly. The problem with this is I have four dogs and we use both exits out of the house many times a day. The deck is also my only means of using my power-chair because I am disabled and cannot walk for only very short distances. But my dogs are the real problem. I am so afraid they might get glass in their feet. So far we have been lucky and this has not occurred.
I now understand that there have been hundreds of complaints about exploding patio tops. Why hasn't something been done about this problem? Surely, all the consumers who have experienced this problem must have some rights - at the very least, an agreement to replace the tops with a quality glass or return the purchase price of these sets. What has to happen before we are recognized about our valid complaint? Does someone have to be seriously injured before any action is taken on this problem?

Today, I went to your store in Oakland to purchase a laptop computer. All in all, this is the worst shopping experience I have been exposed to in years. The store was not very busy and the department selling laptops had no other customers. At the iPod counter, there were two ladies in conversation. I waited and asked if someone could direct me to the laptops. I was told go around the corner and I will see them. It took me some time to locate them, but was not going to ask again since clearly I was not welcome to do so. I had some questions and went back to the counter and asked if anyone could help me. I was directed to the next counter.
Five ladies were behind the counter having a conversation. No one acknowledged I was there. After approximately 4 minutes, I addressed Pat if someone could assist me purchasing a laptop. All of them just looked at each other like I had asked the strangest question. Finally, a young Asian lady got the key and said, “Come with me.” Clearly, she did not know much about the products and I had to ask specifics about the specials. She told me there were none. Clearly, there were several stickers noting “special" on a label. She went to ask for assistance. All 4 ladies approached the area with the "manager" discussing if her photos would be developed in a timely fashion; if she would give them in today, when could she expect to get them returned? I was perplexed.
I had been waiting for 15 minutes trying to figure out the type of laptop to purchase and get someone to assist me when an employee interaction seemed to have priority. Finally, with much complaining, Pat and the other 2 ladies retuned to me. Since no one knew where the "specials" were, I asked if one particular LT was on sale - a big mistake. Very quickly I was put in my place and was told she (Pat) was working there and knew better than me what was on sale, etc. I apologized for causing any problems when Pat said to the young Asian girl, "Here are the keys. I am not dealing with her. You were helping her, so finish it." She clearly tried her best to assist me. A gentleman customer observing this display told them to "hold it down".
All three sales clerks disappeared back to the counter discussing my inadequacy in purchasing a computer. By this time, I was clearly upset. In a very rude fashion, I was asked for my credit card and ID. When I told them I would definitely write a letter of complaint and gave them my name, all now made sure the name tag was not visible. Finally, Michelle, the training manager, came to my assistance and was very apologetic and demonstrated concern and caring about consumers and the store itself. Very refreshing. My computer system failed in my office and in order to save the files, I had to purchase a computer very quickly and was looking for the most economic way to do so. However, I do not think I will repeat this fiasco. No longer will I shop at Walmart in Oakland and will inform my friends and clients to be aware.
At the present time, the job marked is in such distress and I cannot imagine your store having employees with such poor consumer ethics. If this had been any of my employees, he/she would be looking for a job post hastily. Hopefully, you will give this matter some value to prevent future problems. I may add that it will be very unlikely for any one of your employees to confess any wrongdoing. It was clearly my fault indeed, how could I disrupt their conversation? And, no, there was no training being conducted at the time.

I bought a bike for my daughter a 20" Slumber Party built by Next. It has a defective rear wheel hub. I took it back for an exchange and was told it was past the three-day exchange date, but they would have it repaired. I left the bike and came back two days later. They brought me the wrong bike (exact model minus the basket). Then, I went to the back to retrieve my daughter's bike. I was told that the bike "is fine, that is just how it is." There were no offers for an exchange, refund, or anything. My daughter can't even pedal the bike because of the dragging rear hub. It squeals and grinds - a very obvious defect! Out of curiosity, I checked what the other bike (the first one they brought up) was in for; and it too was in for a noisy rear wheel. I then went and checked other bikes similar to my daughter's, and all the bikes on the rack had the same noisy rear wheel. Wal-Mart is selling junk and is aware of it! My next step is talking to a manager and pointing out the defective bikes and see if they own up or just blow me off.

The name of the fan is Retro stand fan and I think it's a mainstay product which was made in India. There is no telephone number or address to contact these people. The model number is 16S35RB. When I returned to my car, someone had siphoned gas from my gas tank and left it open. I called the store to report it to security, was left on hold for approximately 1/2 hour, then was told I needed to file a police report. I explained to the person that I wasn't so much concerned about the theft, but if I had not gone to the other side of my car to put packages in, I could have been a moving bomb. I am telling you, this store needs a complete overhaul when it comes to management. It is a sorry situation. I could write a book of people hanging out and not doing their job. I do not usually complain, but this was a very serious dereliction of responsibility. I could not make them understand that it wasn't the gas, but the danger of this situation.

I have been shopping at your North East Wal-Mart location here in Edmonton for almost five years now. My last couple visits have not been a very pleasant experience for me and my family. Over the past few months, I have noticed your staff is becoming very rude, snappy and lacking in personal hygiene. When I ask for help, your staff usually walks right by or says “I don’t work in this department.” Your staff seems to be too wrapped-up with themselves and their friends that customer service has fallen right out of the Wal-Mart picture.
Your store is filthy. Your staff is unbelievably rude, uneducated and slow. I can’t believe your managers are allowing this kind of behavior to continue. If one of your staff members comes in smelling of B.O. so bad that the smell makes you want to puke, you should send that person home. Your till and customer service staff are extremely slow and snobbish. A simple smile or hello would be nice. Plus, I did not appreciate having the products I was buying tossed around like garbage. I think I'll take my chances with Zellers and Super Store.

On the Wal-Mart flyer dated Sunday, July 26 through Saturday, August 1, there was a Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM laptop computer advertised for $298. The ad clearly stated that the item was available at 8:00 a.m. on July 26, 2009, that quantities were limited and that there would be a minimum quantity of 10 per store. No rain checks were available. I arrived at the store at 7:45 a.m. today, July 26, and headed directly to the electronics department. A line had already formed and there were five people ahead of me, making me the sixth person for the 10 available. There was no one in the department when I arrived and when someone finally showed up, they were unable to help us and got a manager. Upon his arrival, we explained what we were there for and he went into the back warehouse area to get the item. Upon his return, he explained that they only had five of the item and that three had been brought to the front checkout area for purchase. He returned with the two that were still stocked and they went to the first two in line. As the others in line thought, wouldn't a limited quantity electronics item be available in the electronics department?
This is not the first time this has happened at this store. Co-workers of mine have had similar experiences where an item is advertised for a specific time or quantity and they have not fulfilled their advertisement. I had made numerous attempts today to email Wal-Mart customer service concerning this matter and their site keeps kicking me out! I only want what I am entitled to, which is this computer at the price offered as I was at the store and met the advertised criteria. I would be more than happy to pay the $298 and have the item shipped to me, but I do not feel that I should have to pay any shipping or handling charges. Please help me concerning this matter.

I bought a 46 inch Polaroid LCD HDTV from Walmart. I bought the in-store warranty for 2 years. It has been 1 year and 8 months and this TV is already completely tore up. It started with a pinstripe blue line down the center of the screen. I called the number on the warranty slip. They came and got it 3 weeks ago. After about a week, I got curious about what was wrong with it. It was our only TV. I could not get anyone to answer the phone. I called for days, all I got was a recording. I called the phone number on my receipt and reached the New service center - Walmart's warranty center. I have been lied to over and over again. They have told me repeatedly that it would be 3 days.
I finally got a hold of the man who picked up my TV and he sent a message to the repair place in another state. The verdict is that my TV cannot be fixed. It needs a new LCD screen and they cannot find one to fix it. The gentleman told me that he had emailed this company called New and told them this. He also told me that they would deny it and they did. I finally got a hold of a young lady just today and I demanded to speak to a supervisor. He said that it would be 3 more days before he could tell me anything. They are still looking for a part, the LCD screen. I asked, "What happens if you do not find one?" He said he would call me in 3 days and tell me something.
So hopefully, we will get our broken TV back tomorrow as promised. At least I will not feel like it has been stolen any longer even though it is still broken. This has been a terrible and exhausting process and it still is not resolved. The people at the warranty center are like robots. They all say the same thing and they do not return your phone calls. I have always been a Walmart shopper, but I will never again buy anything from them.

We asked Brandon (store manager) if he could get it down for us and he said he would try to find someone to help get it down. We waited and no one came back. We then asked the sales clerk why there was no one in that department to help anyone and she said they must all be at lunch. Why would everyone be at lunch or on a break at the same time especially at a very busy time of day which was between 6:30-7:30pm? Be careful! The cashier always mark the same item 2 or 3 times! Apparently, they don't know how to count. Maybe, they didn't go to school.
I had 1 begonia, but the ticket showed up 2, just to give an example. Ok, it doesn't matter; it's only 95 cents. But today, it was amazing. I had 2 packets of razors, $5.97 each. She marked one and the second one, and she said, "Oh, it didn't take it." So she kept marking, and I said, "Both are the same price!" So she erased one (I looked at the screen to be sure about it.), but then she marked one more time again. And I didn't see it till I was at home. How am I supposed to come back and claim for that?
This has happened several times with different cashiers. Are they trained for that? I mean, "get 2, pay 3" and "get 1, pay 2." Oh yes! Save money, live better, great deal! They always make mistakes when over-typing the number of one same item, but never for less. If you are a busy person as I am, don't go shopping to Wal-Mart in a rush. And always take your time to check your ticket before leaving the check-out register. This never happened to me at Publix.

I just think it is terrible to advertise things that they don’t have. We also went to the North Conway store and the same thing there. I guess my question is how can you do that? I also work in retail and I would lose my job for something like not having sale items.

I purchased a product to kill Japanese beetles. I live in an apartment with a small deck 7' x 9'. I needed to kill the beetles in my plants on my deck. I made the mistake of getting a product for trees and shrubs that attached to a hose to apply it. I tried to return the purchased product and was told at the customer service center that any product with hazardous contents could not be refunded. I was told the policy was posted in the garden center.
I walked to the garden center and asked the salespersons where this sign was. They knew nothing about it, except it was at the customer service counter only. I went back to the customer service center and advised them that there was no signage in the garden center as they had told me. They contacted the garden center and they verified that there was no signage to the effect of no returns on any product with hazardous materials. The customer service center then called the assistant manager and was told that even though there was no signage stating that any product with hazardous contents could not be returned, they would not refund my monies.
If this is to be your policy to cover your rules, don't you think maybe it would be a good idea that being fair to the public and keeping your shoppers coming back. It would be a good idea to post the signage at all points of purchase, including the shelves that display the products, the check out registers at all points, not just some points and right now just the customer service center. It’s a little late after you purchase something that you find out that there is a policy (not published for the general public) only shown at the point of return and not at the point of choosing or purchasing a product. It’s like, we have your money and you can't have it back if you buy it.
At age 69, I should know better than to shop at non-specialty stores. If I want garden products, go to a nursery. If I want clothing, go to a clothing store. If you want drug store items, go to a drug store. I am now more likely to believe all the stories of poor customer service and putting the customer first that I have heard about Wal-Mart.

Needless to say, I was very upset over this. Do not put the signs up and then not honor that. Thank you for your time.

When I tried to return it, they told me they couldn’t do anything for I would have to go through the company that made the television. I have the receipt, box, cables, and book that came with the TV. When I called the vendor, they said you will have to send the TV in and they will repair the TV, and send it back. So in the meantime, I have no TV and out $300.00, and Wal-Mart and their vendor do nothing. I will never buy any large ticket from Wal-Mart again.

Every time I visit this store to buy canned Friskies cat food, they always charge me for an extra can! It's only $0.44 per can, but this has been going on for well over a year. Sometimes, I take the receipt with me when I go back the next time but usually, I don't. If I do take it with me for a refund, I have to stand in the customer service line and that is a waste of my time compared to the $0.44 plus $0.03 sales tax I'll get back. As it is an every time occurrence, I feel it is a purposeful and intentional scam perpetrated on the public. They take the chance that the customer won't notice or is too lazy to resolve it.
Well in my opinion, if it happens every single time, it is outright theft! I could take the time to alert the BBB, I could report it to a consumer rights lawyer taking action on a class action lawsuit, I could even stand out in front with a sign stating my woe but in the end, I think I have decided to forgo buying my cat food at Walmart. Shop Right just opened a new location in Eddystone and I think the next time I shop, I'll see what they carry. Who knows, I may find a better store in which to take my shopping list.

I got the wrong size and went in to get the right size. She said I had to have the receipt to exchange the size. Now, this is crazy since I wasn't wanting to return them for cash back or anything. So I went back home, got the receipt, and then, I got my money back.
I didn't shop at Wal-Mart for over 2 months. I've been going to Target and Kmart. I went to Deming Wal-Mart and again had a 20-minute issue returning 2 shirts, and this time I had the receipts. Also, I asked for a kid's jump rope, and nothing.
I'm finished with Wal-Mart. I drive a truck for a living and stopped at all lots of Wal-Marts, but not anymore. I'm fed up with it, and Wal-Mart doesn't put in the stores what consumers want. They put in what the main office says. That tells me Wal-Mart doesn't give a hoot about the public who is buying. Goodbye, Wal-Mart. Hello, Kmart, Target, etc.

I carried my grand daughter and her husband to our local Wall-Mart Super Center last night where they found a TV stand for $19.00. When we got to the check out, it rang up $24.00. I had checked the bar code number and it matched the number on the sticker on the shelf with the $19.00 price. After they were made to pay $24.00, I went back and checked and found that it was stocked in both the $24.00 and the $19.00 spots. Like most on a limited income, they had counted their money and figured they had enough to buy the item. Stockers should not put items they do not have room for in another spot on the shelf as that is very confusing.
My real complaint is that the bar code number was on both prices and a stocker should pay attention. I don't feel like they should have had to pay the higher price and the lady checking on the problem didn't really seem to want to hear what we were trying to tell her because she kept saying that she went by the item number and not the bar code number, which should not have been on both price stickers on the shelf. A little training could go a long way at Wall-Mart in several places in the store. I have said so many times that I was not going to shop there again. This has pretty much made up my mind for me. I actually tried to get them not to buy the item and told them that I would take them elsewhere. Thank you.

This past Sunday, June 28, 2009, my family and I were at the Walmart located at Livermore, CA 94550. My son and I decided to visit the pet department with the dozens of fish tanks and many varieties of pet fish. As we began to view the fish, we took notice that almost every tank contained at least one dead and/or decaying fish. To make matters worse, we noticed that living fish were feasting on dead carcasses.
It was our (and another two customers') belief and knowledge that most of the dead fish in all the tanks had been there for quite some time as they had been decayed to the point where only skeletons remained and live fish were feasting upon any remaining flesh. There were so many dead fish in one tank, that the water filter intakes were jammed with dead fish bodies (I have pictures). There were fish skeletons, floating fish with white eyes, decaying fish on the bottom of tanks, and mounds of dead fish clustered into groups. It was apparent that all their fish had not been fed in days if not weeks.
I was so saddened at this horrific sight, that I summoned the store manager with the assistance of a cashier. After being informed that the manager is off on Sundays, I requested the assistant manager. Pam and Sam, both with Assistant Manager name tags, met and proceeded to follow me to the pet department. I explained to them that as a pet fish owner, my observation is that the fish are not being cared for properly nor being fed regularly. Pam's attitude and demeanor changed and she proceeded to inform me that they clean the tanks daily. I proceeded to inform her that fish don't just die overnight and turn into skeletons nor clump into groups with decaying eyes and bodies. Furthermore, most of the pet fish Walmart sells do not eat dead carcass unless they are really hungry or starving. Becoming more defensive, Pam stated that they have to report the number of dead fish they find (I'm unsure of this and curious) and proceeded to delegate someone to immediately clean and remove the dead fish from the tanks.
Later, as I was checking out at a cashier, Pam and her cronies, approach and inform me not to strike any conversations with the cashier and threatened to remove me from the store. I informed her I was only making casual conversation about the weather, and why did I have to leave the store? She again reiterated, to not make any conversation with the cashiers and to finish my transaction (in excess of $100 that day) and to leave the store.
I did not feel I had done anything to merit such action, other than to identify a form of cruelty and inhumane action for living creatures being sold in a national chain store classified as pets. I informed her that I would be contacting Corporate and also post my concerns along with the pictures I took on the internet. If Walmart chooses to sell pets, they need to ensure the well being of any living creatures albeit fish. I am very disappointed at Walmart's policy and behavior towards customers who identify such issues and then are thrown out of the store. More care and compassion should be provided to fish as many young children visit the pet section to view the fish and also consider them to be pets. Young children should not be subjected to see such neglect happening in a public environment such as Walmart.

On 6/21/09, I purchased 8 items at the self-checkout, self-checkout because that's where I check-out every time when in Wal-Mart. No problems while shopping are checking out except the 4th item scanned, it didn’t register that I had already dropped in the bagging. The cashier had excellent view of my scans and products, and not a problem when she cleared the scanner for me to continue checking out. Paid with cash, got a receipt and change. I waited for my friend to check out at the same spot, we continued to exit out of the right front side of store door. The clerk greeted us to 'have a nice evening' and took my baggy, he was very nice.
We passed through a section, stopped to get a soda and that is when the female clerk approached me and stated, "We have random spot checks and you happened to be the certain # customer to be exiting our store, could I see your bags please?" I then handed her my receipt, opened my bags for her, to the so-called Spot check, to which I also know there's no such policy! At this time she said, that I did not ring up an item that was in my bags and insisted I give her all my bags. At this point, I was getting a little upset and told her "No, you're not going anywhere with my purchased items, we will look together at the receipt matched to items." She had already snatched my receipt back away, so I then told her to mark the items on the receipt as we emptied my bags. Then she wanted to act stupid and asks me where the binoculars were on the receipt, I then answered, the only one that doesn't have a CK. besides it, the 4th item scanned! She then took the binoculars and my receipt, and disappeared.
I went back in the store ask the clerk where did she go? I found her coming from customer service and she said that the UPC on the receipt did not match the binocular she was then holding, said they were $35.97. I told her to give me the $9.97 back for the ones I had scanned then. I told her whatever the difference is, let me pay it now and be on my way. I totally don't know the Wal-Mart policy and I now feel that I should have insisted she call DPD so they could have done a report, then I, without a shadow of doubt could have sued Wal-Mart **. I walked up to her where she was still visiting and said, “Excuse me, I can't get the cart to work" Phillas got very upset saying "All you have to do is turn it on." Phillas then got on the cart and turned the switch and it moved. Phillas then put her hand out palm up and said "there!" I said "I didn't like the way she was addressing me and I would call the manager."
Phillas took her name tag and shoved it in my face. I told her she was supposed to be helping me instead of visiting. Phillas said, "I wasn't visiting." I got on the cart and said "I've had enough of your lip!" I went to the customer service counter and asked to see the manager, at the same time Phillas went to the first checkstand fastlane, away from her job station and was talking to the checker and pointing at me. The fastlane checker then left her job station and walked out into the aisle and gave me a dirty look for at least 30 seconds. Well the manager never showed so I took the cart back to the front door where Phillas was visiting with someone else. I left and went to Fry's.
When I got home, I called Walmart and spoke to an assistant manager, I told her what happened, she seemed to be OK with Phillas visiting with her friends and at the end of our conversation she said, "Try to have a nice day." I wrote the president of Walmart in Arkansas a letter and sent the store manager a copy which to date, I have not been contacted! I haven't shopped at Walmart since. Walmart lost a $300.00 a month customer and it's made my shopping twice as hard on me as a disabled vet.

Of course, my complaint of no one helping you is probably as much a general complaint as any but I do have one that I and others just can't get accustomed to. We pay for our purchases at the cash register. With our purse and or wallets open, we carefully wrap our receipt around our card and snug it away for safety. Then we leave from the cash register to the exit door to now be stopped by another worker wanting to see our ticket. I just left the cash register so if they are concerned something is not correct, why not pull the cashier's ticket and not make us stop in the middle of traffic and unsecure what we have just so carefully secured safely away.
I find and consider this harassing the customer. Can't Walmart come up with a better arrangement? I have seen customers walk off saying, "My receipt is put away." What will Walmart now do, harass that customer for patronizing them? Can't you come up with something better? We all expect this of Sam's because that has for some reason always been their policy. I think you need to direct your checking toward the cashier's ticket instead of the customers. I am hearing more and more people say they have started shopping at Target's and the Dollar stories. I wonder why. No harassment!

Why are there so many self checkouts? They will all be open and only about 4 cashiers on a Saturday night! I know that I could check my self out as well as any of your cashiers (and better than most! I was a cashier myself for several years.), but I was taught a customer should be shown appreciation when they shopped with you. Whatever happened to the personal touch? Not to mention, how human beings could use the job!

I recently purchased a Visa gift card from my local credit union and sent it to a friend. My friend tried to use it at your store #0995 on June 20, 2009. This was more than your cashier could handle. So after some time of trying to use it for his purchases and holding up the customers in the checkout lane, she told my friend that he would have to pay cash for his merchandise. I knew the card was good as I purchased it myself with cash and have worked retail some 30+ years and have accepted many bank generated gift cards. Do you think your employees might need to be better trained in this matter? Needless to say, my friend left your store completely insulted and embarrassed!
Upon hearing this, I told my friend to take the card and his register receipt back to your customer service desk and have them fix the problem to where he could use the card. My friend called me on his cell phone from the store and I had to tell your associate, Laura **, over the phone how to fix the problem. She got rather rude with me and told me she had to go, as she had other customers to help first. After a period of time, she did manage to return the groceries and re-ring them using the card. My friend was finally happy to have his problem solved. He thanked Laura for her help. She never acknowledged him in any way. What happened to "Thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart?"

Walmart continues to deplete the character that originally made Sam Walton's philosophy their customer service tradition: "Customers first". It would seem that children ran the company these days. Last night I went into Walmart Conway SC. Because of difficulty in finding a video cam, I saw a manager who was talking to one of the employees about a TV that she had bought, and was not working. He was instructing her in the steps she needed go through to get satisfaction. I waited and waited on him to no avail. I began searching again but still couldn't find it.
Finally, I saw **, the dept manager and two other employees who worked in the dept. I assertively walked up to them and waited. They completely ignored me - all three. I simply asked the manager where the cams were and he replied, “This man will help you (referring to **) and then walked off. ** turned his head away from me and began talking again to **, who appeared to be an assistant to the manager. They both totally ignored me. So I waited on them. They simply walked away from me and I went on my way again trying to find a web cam. I did find it on my own, but by then I was angry that Sam's service had so badly sunk into a company that employed three young men, who could care less if I bought something from Walmart or not; who carelessly appeared to be arrogant enough to ignore a potential sell. In my company, that callous attitude would be grounds for automatic dismissal.
I bought the dang cam but vowing to never go back to Walmart again. Most people would have walked out. I still think I should take it back and state the reason for my returning it. I also spend on the average of around $120 a month on medicine alone (that is with my insurance) and could easily be over $300 to $500 with copay. I am going to move my monthly prescriptions to another national chain drug store. Never did I ever have to wait if I called in my prescriptions in the past. I only left this chain because Walmart was closer to my home. I'll go back to good service and give my $3500 in all I buy to the locals. Walmart can keep their conceit, their arrogance, their greed, and their loathing of their customers.
By the way, they don't seem to have a complaint dept. or a place to vent one's concerns online. I wanted to write corporate headquarters but they have no customer service dept. that has a complaints link. When I entered "Complaint" the only response I could get was, "Did you mean Comply?". Humorous. Perhaps they are so caught up in their own arrogance that they actually think all people everywhere feel privileged to actually shop with them? The joke is on Walmart. I could write a book on all the times they have failed miserably to perform good service but I, like them, no longer care about whether Walmart continues to be viable or not.

I shop at the Ocoee, Florida Wal-Mart just about every day. It has the rudest people working in it that I have ever had to deal with. I have met only one lady in this whole super Wal-Mart that is nice and her name is Linda. She is the door greeter. I think this store needs a class on being nice to the customers and letting Linda be their teacher and it might be a better Wal-Mart. I have talked to the so called managers of this not so super Wal-Mart but I think the complaints don’t go any further. The people that work at this Wal-Mart need to remember if it wasn’t for people going shopping at this Wal-Mart, then they wouldn't have a job. So they must not forget where their dollars come from. Thanks.

Walmart used to be a favorite place to shop till 6/19/2009 at 6:15PM. The manager's name was Tavorris. I asked the vegetable/produce associate person that the paper roll was empty and I was shifting through the cherries of which the bags were wet/leaking. Thus, I was hoping he will just get the paper. Anyhow, while I was waiting outside the area, I peeked inside and yelled for somebody in a friendly tone like hello. The person came and accused me of calling him names and he started calling me names and stuff like "why don't you come inside and we will take it up there". He was either hearing wrong or stressed out. So I asked for the manager and waited another 30 minutes for him to arrive.
I first took him to the two towel dispensers to show him that they were empty and that's why I had asked the person for some and he called me names. Mr. Tavorris went inside and told me that I had to leave and if I had any complaints, then call 1800. I was shocked and asked him how he could believe the young lad and not me? I am 52, this kid was maybe 22. Besides, why would a normal human being just go crazy and call names to people, especially a customer who has no relation to anyone there? I told Mr. Tavorris the same thing. Do realize that I go to Walmart at least twice a week because I live nearby and I know quite of the old timers there. I also run a local business, which is a fairly famous place and even people who work at Walmart come there. I wish I had the produce kid's name.
Anyway, Mr. Tavorris called the cops and out of defiance, I waited for another 30 minutes or so for the police to arrive, only to tell me that I had to leave because Mr. Tavorris was the manager and he had the right to do so. I would have to file a complain at the station. I was tired and I left. Logic, why would I just call people names for no reason? Besides, I thought I was helping them by letting them know. Insult, waste of time, anger, felt reverse discrimination.

I bought a plunger. The only plunger that was even in stock at the store. The plunger was $2.97. I love shopping at Wal-Mart and have always thought that they have fair prices for products. But this is by far the worst $3 I have spent ever. The plunger that I bought is so flimsy that it turns inside out the instant you put it in the toilet. I have bought a better plunger from the Dollar Store before.
I think that Wal-Mart should invest in a better plunger. Well, at least the Springdale Wal-Mart and the Fayetteville Wal-Mart in Arkansas. In Washington Wal-Marts, they have better plungers. I know it seems like something stupid to complain about, but I thought I always got my money's worth from Wal-Mart until now. And it really sucks when you have to go to buy a plunger at 1 a.m. because your toilet won't drain. Next time, I'll buy one for double the price at Walgreens. Thank you for your time.

I went into the new Wal-mart store in Jefferson City, MO and was really disappointed about the service. I waited at the deli counter for 15 minutes for the man to find an opened package of meat I had wanted then I had to wait for him to find the right slicer to use. When I went to check out, the cashier didn't know whom to give cash back on a check. I had my four-year old grandson with me and he was waiting very impatiently and running off before I could finish my transaction.

An employee of Wal-Mart was intoxicated during work hours. I saw him drinking beer out of his car, I guess during break time. I'm a loyal customer of Wal-Mart but what is going on with your employees? Nevertheless, the managers/security are supposed to be watching. What's going on?

I frequently visit several different Wal-Marts in our area. This is Texas in the summer, and it is hot! I've noticed the stores getting hotter and hotter, and upon inquiring, I have been told that corporate has told the Wal-Mart stores to stop keeping the stores as cool. At one store, I have witnessed an ambulance outside the store, picking someone up on three different occasions. Could this be heat related? As much money as they bring in every year, I think they can afford to keep the store cool. I'm going to Target.

I am a 53-year old man that shops at this store on an average of two times a week. I am also disable and depend on the riding carts at the stores. The problem is every time I go in your store to shop and use one of those carts, in less than 15 minutes, it runs out of power. Now, your store staff has always been courteous when this happens and that's a good thing. But their comments without them knowing it border on being an oxymoron. They politely tell you when you're getting on the carts, "Oh, this one's green. It should work and if it stops, come get another one." The thing that immediately comes to mind is "how?"
Most of us who use these carts are limited in how far we can walk unassisted. I, myself, use two standard crutches that I leave at the front of the store with the greeter when I shop. This means that when one of these carts run out of power totally, you are stuck somewhere in the store without the ability to contact some store personnel for assistance. What I would like to describe to you is the strategic planning that goes into a routine trip to Walmart.
On one of my trips last week, I wanted to price and buy a 32-inch television. But as I made my way down the far aisle towards electronics, the cart started blinking. I turned around and made it to the floral cooler before it totally died. To me, that was a victory because the week before, I got stuck in the middle of the candle aisle and had to pull myself up front by pulling the shelving until I got a store associate's attention. This was really embarrassing. For a person with a disability, that feeling of helplessness is the worst.
I know that this is a long complaint but I want you to understand what I feel each time I go into their store. I believe that there is a solution. I have told the store employees before who politely agree but have taken no action. Here are my suggestions:
Contact the manufacturer of that cart and see what the life span is for those batteries. I have personal knowledge that they last about one year and then need to be replaced. If they are older than a year, they will not take a complete charge. Also, if the machine goes all the way down, it has been my experience that it must then be charged for at least twelve hours. Again, maybe this is different for their carts.
Lastly, I would like to express that the very last time I was in this store was this past Tuesday night. I shopped for ten minutes and then remembered I wanted to look at TVs. The only word I can use to describe how I felt would be scared--scared that I would not make it, scared that I would be stuck. No one should have to feel like this to shop at Walmart. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I do not need a lawyer. What I want is a reasonable accommodation regarding this matter.

This is a follow up to the complaint I sent on June 14, 2009. Walmart has resolved the situation in a reasonable manner. They actually upgraded the console to a bundled package. I'm a bit confused. Walmart stated they were unable to reach anyone in authority at Sony. According to two different people at Walmart, one a district manager, the only phone number they had for Sony was the 1-800 customer service number. It seems odd, that two large corporations who have a business arrangement, have no way to communicate with each other when they have problems or concerns. I would suggest consumers check the contents of purchases prior to leaving the store. Also, if your item has a serial number, be sure the serial number on the box matches the serial number on the item itself.

My husband has rheumatoid arthritis and cannot walk very much. This store has several carts for disabled people, however, when we go in most of the time there are no carts available. My husband will sit up front until one is available or I get through shopping. But what is so upsetting is the people on these carts. People, kids that are quite capable of walking. Adults and kids playing on them. They are taking advantages of this service and hurting seniors that need this service. Door greeters say they cannot say anything to these people because the manager will not do anything about it. I think this policy should change and those carts be available for people that you can see by their appearance that they need these carts. We would appreciate if you could assist in this problem. Thank you.

I purchased a 37" Polaroid LCD HDTV in December 2007 after returning from Iraq. Two weeks ago, it went blank and only the blue light will come on, nothing else. I took the TV due to misplacing my warranty and receipt back to Walmart with box, plastic, books and all and explained my situation and they told me to give them the exact date of purchase and they may be able to look up my warranty information. I have since spent $30 on credit card receipt retrievals which has been a waste of time. This was a gift to myself for multiple combat tours and having been wounded during two conflicts. Now, I am out a total of $1430 for wall mount, warranty and TV that is useless. I thought there were laws about this sort of thing. I'm not sure Wal-Mart needs anymore black eyes but this one will soon be coming from the disabled American Veterans.
