I ordered an item from Walmart.com Nov. 30 to be delivered "site-to-store." The latest possible date of delivery was listed as Dec. 16. When that date came, I called the customer service line. They had no idea where the item was and had no tracking number. It was lost in the system. After two more calls, I was advised to cancel that order and order the item to be sent to my son's house, since it wouldn't make it by Christmas. The original item was delivered to the store Dec. 23. It hadn't been cancelled, despite my request.
I immediately cancelled the second, identical item, both online and by phone to customer service on Dec. 23. They assured me it was cancelled, but it never showed up as cancelled on my account page. Finally, Jan. 4, I received a notice that "delivery had been delayed." I called customer service again and said I wanted the order cancelled. They said they would try, but couldn't guarantee it. Long story short, it was supposedly delivered a couple days later. Now, my son will have to pay to send it back. There is something drastically wrong with WalMart.com's customer service system, and I will never order from them again and urge others to beware as well.

I was checking out and asked the cashier if I needed to fill out the check or if she was going to run it through. This was a business check I was using. She then took my check to her supervisor and she turned and asked me if the business on the check was mine. I did reply, "Yes, of course." The supervisor then took the check to her supervisor with a copy of my GA license and a business card. She came back and told me they could not accept my business check because it did not have the bank address on it. I responded that none of my business checks have a bank address on them. I also stated that Sam's Club took the same check two times this past week. I was buying business supplies for my office. I know now to stick with local small business stores to do my business.

I ordered gift cards totaling over $250.00 and cannot get Walmart.com to activate The Visa cards! Most of these were gifts and Walmart.com keeps giving me the runaround telling me they don't need to be activated, but I kept one and called the number on the back of the card and they tell me to go back to where they were purchased to activate!
This has caused a lot of stress and embarrassment trying to explain why my gift cards won't work to the recipients. Please help!

I was making last minute Christmas shopping. First was a purchase for Planet of the Apes. The electronics department found me the movie I knew would be hard to get that night. I then made a purchase amounting to more than $200 towards men's Christmas presents. Next stop was groceries for Christmas eve, Christmas morning, Christmas day, right to New Year. I had it all planned, and even though I had a small limit on an already small budget, I put aside $75. A lot of money for my budget. My purchase was beeping through, and the total was $140.75. It was over my budget, however, a quick transfer from savings to checking would leave me $26 left for a snack for my son at McDonald's. I politely told the young man, "I am so sorry, I have the money, I just need to transfer it over. I'll just use the payphone. Maybe you can put me on hold, and get a few of more people through".
I called the bank at TD Canada Trust. I told the guy I was standing in line short at Wal-Mart, and could he please transfer $75 over to checking, wished him a merry Christmas, hung up, raced back, and said, "all done, sorry for the wait" and the cashier had my receipt, then after that didn't work, he had a tiny bar code that he scanned. I put my card back in, and excited about the shopping being done and about to head home. The cashier said it didn't go through. I thought we pushed savings, or that we made a mistake, so I said "sorry, let me call the bank again, but I'm sure positive it went through". So again, at the payphone, my son standing with groceries at till, I said hello to the banking specialist and said "hello, sorry you just talked to me, I need $75 put into my checking account". He said, it was done, and that you just made your purchase of $140.75 at Wal-Mart. I said, yes.
Being happy once again, I told my son to come over, which he did, because I wanted him to tell the cashier that it went through. This is when the nightmare started. I'm having a bit of an anxiety attack right now, just typing this. I am so scared I am going to have people mad at me for not letting this go. Having anxiety issues to begin with, is huge part of shopping at the last minute, because I don't have time to think. It's just all rushed. Anyway, there was a lady walking by. Pleasant she was, and I said to her, "excuse me, how is it that there is not enough money to verification, and that groceries are paid for, but the cashier said they're not". I was told to wait right where we began to speak, and I stood there by the wall next to the washrooms. I wanted to move, but I had staff looking and watching us, like were going to run off.
I understand they don't know me, and maybe people might have tried to leave, but I was not one of them. The lady told a manager by the name of Dana, who came over, and I explained to her what happened, and even called TD banking specialists again. After a while of trying to verify I paid for my merchandise, I was repeatedly told I never paid, and because it was closing time, and everyone was anxious to get home, the manager, whom I can point out, because of a noticeable limp, and who was making a huge impression, even while I was in line before paying, as he kept walking all over, not even in an organized manner, but it was what he was saying that made him stand out. "I need to be out of here, and be home by seven. My family is waiting for me. Let's go. I need to be out of here. Deal with it. Let's get these lines out. I need to be home by seven". Hearing that made me nervous, but I still wasn't under the impression of what was to come.
I had the bank manager, no longer the specialist. I had the lady employee come over every once in a while and say, we will get this dealt with, sorry for the wait, and if we could just stay put, and she would be right back. And now that I'm writing this, I owe Wal-Mart 2 cans of Pepsi. We were standing there pretty long by then. I was thirsty and hot, as anxiety was kicking in more and more, as people were standing there staring at us, from the employees to manager, to customers, to my son who was telling me not to shake and to relax. When the manager Dana is back, telling me that it looks like it didn't go through, and with the bank manager on the phone still, I said "can you please tell the manager here at Wal-Mart that it went through?
They keep saying it didn't" It lead me to cry, as the bank manager says, "tell them to call the merchandise something, and they can verify that you paid, and even more was said and done". I was seeing store employees leaving, and the store was empty. The manager Dana standing next to me, and both TD and Dana said, "I am so sorry, and is there something i can do". I just cried, and said "I just want to go home please. Thank you for all your help, but I just want to go home". I couldn't stop the tears, as it was apparent I was leaving my cart full of groceries that I paid for, and although Wal-Mart said "if you want you can pay for the groceries, and you can leave with them, or come back after the holidays, because tomorrow will be crazy, being Boxing day".
I told them repeatedly. I only had $75 extra, and I only have limited funds. I'm on long term disability. If I had the $140.75, I would have saved myself from this ordeal and embarrassment, and already paid. I would come back and get my refund. I would have already left happy, but I'm leaving knowing I won't even have Christmas groceries. Are you seriously saying I didn't pay? Dana said sorry, and I did snap a bit at her, as she said, "hopefully the bank can sort this out, give you back your money", as she handed me a huge printout of my groceries, and 6 lines highlighted in yellow.
But wait, it has only gotten worse. I would like to speak to someone about this. I ended up in tears. I felt humiliated, and I was just so emotionally worn out from what happened a couple of days before New years Eve, to the next week leading up to this complaint. I swear Thursday that just passed from this date, that things went from horrible to just anxiety-heightened, and confused. What's even worse is that I actually worked for Wal-Mart years before. I still have not received a refund for $140.75, no apologies were given, and I am sitting here in pain, typing this complaint. I was embarrassed and in pain from the stress. I just want to say forget it, they win, let them have my money. But if I don't stand up and say something, who will?

I called the Walmart in Truro, Nova Scotia. I asked to be transferred to the seasonal department because my mom had just bought a snow tube for in the snow and my kids really liked it so I thought I would go in and get three for us. I called to make sure there was some as I didn't want to upset my kids if I told them and they didn't. I tried three times and every time the woman answered all she said was seasonal and didn't say a name so I don't know her name. I would just say, "I was just calling to... " and then she would hang up. I got very mad and I tried for the fourth time and they just wouldn't answer in that department.
This is not very good business. I buy my groceries and everything I need there. I am in every two weeks spending at least $300 as I buy diapers and all the stuff my kids need. This is not the first time I had a bad experience with this Walmart location but I still went back. After today though, I may cut my business with Walmart back since you don't get treated very well by some employees. It was not necessary for that individual to be hanging up on me multiple times.

My mother is 78 years old and likes to shop at this Wal-Mart but it is hard for me to take her there because they only have two wheelchairs without baskets. She can not ride a scooter and half the time nobody can find these tore up wheelchairs. This is a big problem every time we go here. I keep begging her to shop at K-mart and she insists shopping at Wal-Mart instead. K-mart has plenty of wheelchairs with baskets on them. Please fix this problem. I told the manager it was a hassle to shop here and she said it was fruitless to order more because people kept stealing the wheelchairs.

For Christmas, I received a bike that was bought through the Black Friday sale. When I put the bike together, I realized the rear axle was bent, the wheels wobbled, and it needed to be trued; brand new bike right out of the box. I went to Walmart in Troy, MI and tried to have it replaced. The assistant manager who was very rude told me the best they could do for me was to take the refund money off the purchase of a $200.00 bike. Apparently, according to her, the bike was just made for Walmart’s Black Friday sale and clearly was printed on the flyer.
This bike, according to the flyer I read, its value was $199.00 and it did not state it’s a Black Friday item only. Most other stores would have gladly replaced the bike and been happy for the business. Well, I informed her that I would take my money and spend it at another store and would never shop at Walmart again. With refund in hand, I bought a brand new bike for under $100.00 at Meijer. I just want people to know if you buy Black Friday items and they don't work or are broken, they really don't care.

I looked about and everyone I asked said they could not help. I went back to the pharmacy who paged someone. I waited 20 minutes and no one came. I went back to the pharmacy who sent me to customer service where I waited for another 25 minutes as only one person was serving. Every weekend for as long as Walmart has been on 39th St. in Independence, MO I have taken my mother to buy her vitamins. This last weekend after lugging in all the sales ads of the Sunday paper to get price matches for my mother on her vitamins, I was told they did not or would not price match a sale for buy one and get one free. This was frustrating since I not only had to drag in all the paper to prove these were on sale, because my mother is on a fixed income and whatever she can save helps her to pay her medical bills. Then to be told they would not match them. If this is not your policy then don't advertise it. But if it is I would like to know where the cutoff is if there is any.
Nothing is mentioned in your ads about buying one and getting another free. Since I live in Kearney and my mother lives in Indep she enjoys the trip to your store and I've always liked the one stop shop idea. This was quite upsetting for my mother since she was unable to purchase all she needed there. I was forced to stop at two other stores to get her needs purchased. Everybody needs to be on the same page. This has caused at least two other stores to benefit from the money that was spent to save an elderly woman money. Thanks for nothing!

I paid $410.68 for 11 Vanilla Visa gift cards on 11/23/11 from Walmart.com. 10 were Christmas gifts. Activated by email per Wal-Mart instructions on 12/2/11. Only 7 were activated and I did not find out until 12/14/11 when I tried to use my card and it was declined. I have continuously contacted Walmart.com and Vanilla Visa about the situation. They activated 1 of the remaining 4 cards, leaving 3 cards not activated as of 1/2/2012. Someone has collected interest on these monies for two months. If it’s a widespread problem (intentional), then it’s a case of fraud. I did not have 3 gift cards for Christmas gifts and had to cover with cash that was set aside to pay a propane bill.

I bought two electric scooters and paid extra for warranties for my kids for Christmas at the end of November. They stayed boxed up till Christmas Eve. On 12/26/11, they both were out of order. My kids were out of town with them for a week. When they returned home, I took the scooters back to the store of purchase and the price had changed. The manager at Wal-Mart would not help me unless I paid another $30 for each scooter to satisfy the new price tag. Just because the items were on sale at time of purchase doesn’t mean that the items weren’t worth swapping or repairing at no cost.
I demanded a complete refund for the items and the worthless warranties and told the manager that I would be spending that money at another store. She didn’t even care if the store lost business. Wal-Mart is and has been on a downhill slope since the death of its founder. My $9,000 income tax refund will be spent at Target and Best Buy this year, and I will be buying my groceries from the small town store that still walks your bags to the car for you.

Car was hit by shopping cart on rear side on October 25, 2011 in Wal-Mart’s parking. Report filed with Wal-Mart management with pictures of damage and was forwarded to proper department. The letter stated I could reply to their letter with which I did. At this time no reply to my inquiry. I am 72 years old and I take precaution when parking in places like Wal-Mart.
The day was windy. I parked far away from the main entrance and no cars or shopping carts were in my immediate area. Therefore, I consider negligence by Wal-Mart for not policing the shopping carts as dangerous missiles of destruction-able to harm people and/or cars. I cannot afford to fix this damage. When I couldn't after quite a while, I went back and stated that I felt that I was mistreated by the staff the man from layaway went and got the bike, one of his coworkers mocking me came back saying, “I want to tell you how Wal-Mart’s mistreated me and walked up the register and called out my name.”
After I got the bike my husband tried the bike and the tire was warped after your employees shoved it into my car and they scratched my husband’s rear bumper. I was forced to return the bike. I purchased an HP desktop computer from Wal-Mart, and was offered a "2 year extended warranty for $49.00." I bought it. Called HP and was told it is not their warranty, but a Wal-mart warranty, not extended and certainly not a warranty. I read the fine-print of Wal-mart warranty;
2. The warranty offers "one year of McAfee antivirus software" but the computer comes with Norton antivirus software (redundant, useless warranty).
3. Warranty covers damage from electrical failures and power surges, again from date of purchase. It is not an extension of the HP warranty covering hardware, software and tech support. Again, redundant and misleading service/sales practice on the part of Wal-mart. I'm sure there are other misleading claims, but I'm not taking the time to read the fine print because I broke my magnifying glass.
I have written to New Product Care Plan (WalMart) PO BOX 1818 Sterling VA 20167 (as directed in the fine print of the warranty) requesting a refund. It's not even Wal-Mart... It's a contractor. I have not seen the refund yet. In my opinion these worthless "2 year extended warranties" being pushed by Wal-Mart sales people falls under the category of "Bait and Switch."

I informed Kimberly that I had driven a very long way, and that my business there was very important, and I assured her I would be out within the 20 minutes remaining time on the advertised closing time of 8:00 PM. This was not sufficient for Kimberly. She proceeded with very disrespectful comments, and continued to deny me entrance. I will be furthering my complaint with the upper management and the Better Business Bureau.
The Consequences are very obvious. From a customer standpoint, I should not have been denied entry prior to the advertised closing time, not to mention the rude manner in which I was spoken to. We arrived at the store at approximately 7:45 pm and were advised that the store was closed. The doors were barricaded by the managers, namely Benda and a customer services rep. We tried to explain what we wanted and were advised they were closed. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. A local police officer was allowed to make entrance but no other customers.

I voted one star only because 0 isn't an option. This store's management has a total disregard for their employees and the needs thereof. Due to babysitting needs, I can only work certain hours but when I try to do an availability change, it is self admittedly thrown away. They say it's up to the needs of the customers, yet though I work as a cake decorator. The bakery associates work only until 5 or 6pm and I am stuck until 9 or 10 with nothing to do, yet expected to fill the needs of customers with no training of how to do such (hot bread is the first thing coming to mind).
Although we are expected to fill our department with 4 full time and 1 part time employee, we have 2 and 1. I am denied personal and vacation days due to 'no coverage,' but the other employees take whenever they want and are approved. The managers don't like me and therefore choose me to abuse constantly. This is not the only Walmart to do this. Every Walmart I've worked for or had friends working for has been the same. Sam *** cared about his employees but corporate only cares about where their next dollar comes from. We're forced to work holidays, and if we get injured, no matter if it was preventable by management or not, we're terrified to report it because we get coached and terminated.
I don't have insurance because to get even basic care, I have to give up half my paycheck. This is disgusting! I'm a single parent and can't even pay my rent unless I want my son to go hungry, all because corporate 'cant afford' to give us hours, even the full timers barely make 35. Walmart disgusts me, especially when they profess to care and prove they don't.

My brother and his wife gave me two goldfish from the Walmart Supercenter here in Klamath Falls, Oregon for Christmas. I told them I wanted to pick up a few more fish from the store to add more color and quality. We got the new ones home and did the proper change. The next day, the freshly made water with conditioner put in started to look murky. Then my bro's wife and I looked at the fish and the black one with bulgy eyes was starting to act strange, he started to lie down in the left hand corner of the tank in the front.
The following day, he was still lying down in that same spot. Since I am a newbie at owning fish, I thought he was just sleeping. The very following day, the black one had died. I examined the body and the only thing wrong with it was a discoloration on its underbelly. Then I threw the body away and began to keep a close watch on the remaining fish. The big, white goldfish, one of the ones my brother and his wife got me, began to act the same way, only it began to show a scale hanging above its nose. The golden colored goldfish took a deep breath and then swam around the tank. I kept looking in frequently to see what could be causing them to act so strangely.
I had been using medicine tablets to get rid of any parasites or diseases they may have. The following evening, the water was extremely murky and the big, white one had died. I took the dead fish and put it into a plastic zip-lock to examine the body closely, and it seemed to be bleeding. Even though the sucker fish seems fine, the other fish were acting wiggy. The gold one was twitching and the little, spotted one was trying to hide, but failed. So then I went online and searched up "Emergency Care for Fish symptoms" and got a few tips.
I changed 25% of the water with conditioning liquid, but it does not make sense to have to change water so quickly. My brother and his wife had the two big goldfish for 5 days okay before they gave them to me and one has died! So I thought that maybe it was my fault. So I followed another tip to add kosher salt to the water, 1/2 of recommended for freshwater tank, and they seem to be looking up. However, I have been using the medication since Day 2 because of the black one acting so strangely.
However, the big, white/clear one should not have died so quickly after the black one has died. I am worried more will die before I can find a proper store to buy some decent fish from. I may pay more to get different fish, but at least they will have been treated much better. It feels like one of the fish I had picked up from the Supercenter had brought home a virus or parasite.

I wanted to purchase some foil trays to give away cookies in. They were directly above a 50% sign. They were red and green. They were in the middle of a Christmas aisle. There was a large display of them, they were not misplaced. At the register, I was informed that these were not on sale because they were not holiday items, they were "regular year round" items. It's blatant and intentional abuse, and employees who know it's wrong are forced to go along with the scam.

I had told them on three separate occasions that I cannot do that because I am from a low income family and they need the support of my money to live. They had then told me that it is Walmart’s policy and there is nothing they can do. When I asked if I can transfer to a different department where it would not matter that I was pregnant, I was told that I cannot transfer due to the fact that no matter where I would go in the store I could not fully do my job properly.
Two days later I had gone to my doctor’s appointment to get my first ultrasound and the doctor had told me that the baby was at the right size to be at the stage of the pregnancy I was in but there was no longer a heartbeat and I had miscarried. They had said that it must have happened within the last few days (when I was distraught for my job). I have almost no question that the stress I endured from the worry for my job assisted in the death of my unborn baby. When I tried to turn it in I told them the note wasn't until after my 12th week in pregnancy, so I didn't turn it in. I was 9 weeks along when I tried to turn it in. I was in line for approximately 2 hours waiting for the Kodak camera that our Helena Wal-Mart had on sale for $49.99 at midnight on November 25th. At 5 minutes to midnight, John-Wal-Mart’s manager decided that he wanted to move the display out into the open area of the store. I was 5th in line for this item and had been standing around waiting since around 10pm. As soon as he moved the display, several people who were just walking up to get in line were now at the front and everyone who was in the front of the line was now in back. This made everyone in line very upset, even me, because the display didn't need to be moved.
Midnight struck and people went crazy. Everyone was pushing and shoving and it turned into a free-frawl. I bent down and reached through the people and got a camera. As I was getting up and trying to step out of the madness, I was pushed down to the ground and then trampled. I hit my back and my hips. It hurt really badly. When I was finally able to get up, I had pain that was moving from my lower back to my neck. My husband went and addressed this with a Wal-Mart manager, Brian, since he had witnessed the entire madness that just happened. Brian met up with me since I was in the front of the store and took my statement. He told me that if I needed to go to the doctor, Wal-Mart would take care of all the bills because this shouldn't have happened.
I left that evening and ended up going to the ER because my back was hurting so bad and I couldn't get comfortable. The ER checked me out and told me that I didn't have any major problems, but that I pulled the muscles in my back and bruised my hip bones pretty good. The doctor gave me muscle relaxers, a pain medication, and a note to not go to work for 2 days and just rest. My husband went and talked to a manager later on November 25th about how I ended up in the ER and wanted to know how to move forward. He was informed that we needed to contact Claims Management in order to get the bills paid.
We both called several times to file a claim with Debbie **. She called me once and left a message. Then, she sent me a letter that said she was going to close my case out because she hadn't heard from us. I called and complained that evening on her voicemail that I expected a phone call because she has never tried other than once to contact me. My husband finally got into touch with her and she said she needed my statement about the incident to make a final decision. I called her later the next day when I had a moment and gave her my statement. During the phone call, she told me that "I took the risk of going into Wal-Mart on Black Friday but she would review the tapes and make a decision".
I couldn't believe this! You mean to tell me that I took risk of being injured by going into a store that should have prevented this from happening and could have if they hadn't moved the display 5 minutes before opening time. I waited patiently for Debbie to get back in touch with me. When she did, she left a voicemail that a decision had been made about my claim. My husband called about the status and was informed that again, I took the risk and there wasn't anything that they had done wrong in the situation. Now I have a $900 medical bill that Wal-Mart won't cover because they say I took the risk by shopping there. I just can't believe this happened and Wal-Mart won't take any responsibility.

I promptly called to let them know about it, and brought it right back. They said they could do nothing for me but return the cost. Well, what about the 5 hours I spent waiting in lines at Wal-Mart? When she got to my Dr. Peppers, she said, "the manager said we can't sell these for a lesser price, do you still want them?" Anyway, the point of this, is to say that two weeks ago, I accidentally picked up a 6 pack that only had 5 in it, and had to walk all the way back to the back, to get a full 6 pack, and I really feel this same one was just shoved to the back, and I happened to have ended up with it again, but since I really wanted more, and it was the last one, I was willing to have them deduct the price of one, which would have been 66.2 cents from the $3.98 that the total pack cost. I think Wal-Mart still would have made more money off me, by selling them to me for $3.35, than they would, getting a full refund from the vendor for a 6 pack. Instead, now I am a very unhappy customer who has a new New Year's resolution, to give the smaller grocery chains, Family Dollar and Dollar General my business. I may have to spend a few dollars more sometimes, but I will feel better knowing that I get more individual, and caring service at the smaller places.
My husband and I used to own a convenience store and we would never have said "we can't sell you this, because we would lose 66.2 cents, but not really, because of the mark up the store sells it for. It's too bad that Wal-Mart has gotten so big, they have forgotten who got them there. We, the people, and our business got them to where they are. Thank you for reading my complaint, even though it may seem minor to you, it's the point I want to get across.

I purchased one Giani Granite counter top paint kit and a few other non related items - 6 items all together. Two shopping bags were placed into my cart. The cashier charged me double and I did not realize until I had left the store. When It dawned on me that the bill seemed kind of high. I went back into the store and was refused for help on this issue - I was told the manager was not available.
I went back this morning and was told that they put two items in my shopping cart, therefore I did purchase two of the paint kits. As stated above I purchased a total of 6 items. The kit is about 18" long by 12" wide and 6" deep - only one per bag will fit. I asked to see the video - I was told no. I then demanded to see the video - I said show me proof and I was told no. I demanded to see the manager - again, the manager was not available.

I am giving no stars to this store, specially because of the incident. I am getting sick of being tended to, by gum chewing, gum smacking, bubble blowing and unprofessional people. First of all, it is rude to chew while tending to a customer, secondly it is gross and thirdly, I am sure that I am not the only one who feels like puking by the sounds and seeing the contents of someone else's mouth. After being tended to by a cashier with gum in her mouth, I went looking for a supervisor.
As I am approaching this little supervisor, she is stuffing her face with a piece of gum. She asked me how she could help me... with gum... visible! I proceeded to tell her that she could start by removing the gum from her mouth and I explained to her what a rude and nauseating thing it is to be tended to as a customer in this way. This little Tinker Bell said that she didn't blow bubbles! Get some customer care training!

I wanted this order before Christmas. I ordered this on 12/10/11. When I called Wal-Mart on 12/13/11 at 2:32 pm and spoke with Lucy, Wal-Mart should have cancelled my order as soon as I called them and refunded my money back because the package was still in Chino, California on 12/13/11. Wal-Mart said that the estimated delivery time of my package was on or before 12/21/11. When I tracked it on 12/13/11, the delivery date changed to 12/29/11. I called Wal-Mart on 12/14/11 and spoke to Stacy, I explained to her my situation and they should have canceled my order. I don't want it that late! I couldn't believe this.
Now, not only I won't get my daughter's Christmas gift on time to celebrate a joyous occasion, but I'm out of $466.66 to go out and get them a replacement gift. I don't have an extra $500 to spend on gifts. Thank you Wal-Mart for ruining Christmas to two wonderful daughters that well deserve a good Christmas this year due to the fact that both parents are unemployed and I am disabled with a spinal cord disease. If the delivery date changes to a later date because it's going to Hawaii, then this should be the responsibility of the company, not the consumer, to inform the consumer especially for Christmas time. Wal-Mart has to coordinate with FedEx Smartpost and get this delivery dates squared away before promising the consumer the estimated delivery date.
This is a direct reflection of the service and the people who represent this company. It seems to me that customer satisfaction and close attention to detail is not important and immaterial. I will not recommend Walmart.com to anyone and only want 100% of my refund back ASAP. I will relate my experience to other consumers when they inquire about Walmart.com. I'm a cery unhappy and very disappointed customer!

I even talked to two different supervisors and they didn't seem concerned themselves. They blamed problem on FedEx and FedEx told me they haven't even received a request to pick the orders up. Absolutely ridiculous. I've been hung up on and spent from nine o' clock this morning to four on the phone trying to get some kind of help.
I spend tons of money in there weekly and especially around holidays. I will not step foot. Our last complaint posted pertaining to the paper lamp and curtain rod purchased from Walmart was incomplete. Here is the end of it. Posted in consequence.
It has been 8 business days now and we haven't gotten our refund. We made several purchases that week, whereas it's the holidays and the only purchases still 'pending' on our Green Dot account summary is Walmart for the rod and the initial lamp. We aren't exactly the wealthiest of people. The money we spent was calculated within a strict budget, so we have pretty much been flat broke for almost 2 weeks now. If the items weren't in stock, why was it posted as available?
Also, why did they charge us without first seeing if the item was in stock? And last, why haven't we seen our money in technically 1 week and 4 days? Judging from the many similar complaints here, I can only assume that it is intentional. Almost like Walmart is borrowing money from us without our permission. Now the question is, has anyone received their refunds yet?

Last Thursday, a representative of our local store called me and reminded me that the layaway needed to be picked up no later than the 16th. I informed her that I would be in Monday or Tuesday night, and she said "that would be great" and end of conversation. Well here it is, Monday night I went in to pick up my layaway, while my children are sleeping, only to be informed that the layaway closes at 9:00 pm. I would not have minded that but they need to inform the customers of the hours! No where, not on my receipt, the front door of the store, nor on the company website stating that layaways must be picked up between certain hours.
Now I am stuck with the difficult decision to pay the $10 cancellation fee, or ruin my children's belief in Santa! I spoke with the co-manager who sympathized with me but offered no help, and I have also called 1-800-wal-mart. I was shopping for a Christmas present for my grandson. I noticed a display with several different motorized ride-on toys that were all marked $145. I asked my daughter who works at the store to go and take a look at them and let me know which one she thought my grandson would like. Later she called me to tell me which one to get. It was a four wheeler. I got my money and went to the store. The associate in lawn and garden loaded the item in my car and went to ring me up. The bike rang up $597. The associate took another look at the sign and called for a price override because they were all clearly marked $145. The first lady who came over refused to do the override and offered me 10% off.
I asked for a manager. The man who came over was very arrogant and treated me like I was trying to rob them. He started scanning the ride-ons and discovered that they were all priced wrong, some high and some low. He then told me that he wasn’t going to do anything about the "human error". He was rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong by asking to pay the price that was advertised. I understand that is a big error, and I understand the store not wanting to honor the price but I feel that they could have offered me something better than 20%. And to be honest, after being treated like a criminal by this arrogant assistant manager, I feel like I deserve to get the bike for what it was priced. I called 1-800-WALMART and filed a complaint. I ordered a play kitchen for my daughter on 11/25/2011 from Walmart.com to be shipped site to store. I would pick up the item at a Walmart store next door to where I worked. After getting all the emails confirming the order and that the order had shipped and billed to my checking account, I got an e-mail on 12/6 saying the item was lost or damaged and they were canceling the order and refunding my money (within 5 business days). I called the next morning to Walmart.com because I still wanted the item and the item was still in stock online and in many stores in the area. I spoke to many representatives and supervisors and managers, they all said the same thing.
No apologies for the mistake and the only thing I could do was to reorder the item online that was now $15.00 more. They would honor the original price, but I would have to have a hold for the full amount against my checking account until they could process a credit for the difference. So, I would have the original debit and the new debit against my account. This was not a credit card but a checking account. After letting them know that this was not acceptable, because I didn't want that much held from my checking account, they said sorry that's all they could do.
I did give alternatives that were acceptable to me, such as holding one in a store a half an hour from me and I would pick it up when the credit went through my account. They said no, that was not in their policy. They could not hold an item and they wouldn't be able to honor the price that I originally paid if I bought it at the store.
I spoke to many supervisors and managers, such as Lana, No. **; Jason; Tiffany No. **; Edward (who told me that he couldn't even talk to me about the order because my husband’s name, same last name and address as myself, was on the debit card used for the order, funny he was the only one that said that); Milton, No. **, who said that he did not have a boss when I asked to speak to someone higher, he was the highest. I thought it was Mike Duke that is the CEO, not Milton Duke.
Also, Jim in South Florida. Also, Siedah and Jalisa who said they could not give out their ID nos. You would think that they would want to help and figure out a way to make it right since it was their mistake. I could not find one person who had a "can do" attitude or anyone willing to help. After working in retail for a major retailer like Walmart for 14 years as a Store Manager, I know that there are exceptions to every policy and managers are given the authority to make decisions to satisfy customers, especially when the store makes the error.
I will not ever shop at a Walmart store or at Walmart.com again in fear that if they make a mistake, they won't fix it. (Since I tried to get help from 1-800-Walmart, they said that they are only there for the stores and they cannot help with Walmart.com issues, no better customer service than Walmart.com)

I have the screenshot of the website listing the item, not once, but twice within the description. I also have the FedEx shipping receipt indicating that the item was a part of the bundle. I did not receive the item. This occurred in September, and now, after multiple calls to Walmart.com customer service, several email complaints, and a letter of complaint with the screenshots indicating inclusion of the lens in the bundled deal both to customer service and the corporate office, I have been lied to, ignored, promised the lens, and sympathized with.
I have been continually told that there is nothing customer service can do other than provide me with an offer of $50 for a lens that would cost $189.95 if I went to the Wal-Mart store to purchase it. When I began this complaint, the lens was in stock. It is now out of stock. I have been told to call the 1800 Walmart number to register a complaint. However, there is no selection for making a complaint.I would like Wal-Mart to either provide me with the lens, Canon EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III USM telephoto zoom lens 6472A002AA as listed on my original order page and on my FedEx package list or send me a check for $189.95 plus tax so I can purchase the missing lens elsewhere.
I have sent a letter to the CEO of Wal-Mart as well as a letter of complaint. Both have been ignored, as have been the numerous reports of this complaint to customer service. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau right after I finish this complaint. If I do not receive written confirmation of a resolution underway from Wal-Mart to rectifying this issue. I will be contacting any other consumer bureau handling corporate ethics issues, as well as contacting my attorney to file suit. In addition, I am, and will continue to contact Walmart.com customer service regularly, express my frustration, explain my situation, elicit further agreement from customer service agents stating on recording that I have a legitimate complaint, and make it a point to cost Walmart.com considerable more per month than it would have cost them to send the absent lens when it was available earlier during communication of this issue.
I will be setting up a Facebook page, and a Twitter account specifically to expose the lack of ethical management of customers with legitimate complaints. I have currently called customer service approximately 20 times over the past 3 months, have proven over and over that the lens was, in fact, included on the website, and in the FedEx shipping order, but was not provided and is owed to me. At approximately $15 a call to customer service for 20 calls, I have cost Wal-Mart approximately $300 for their lack of ethics in this matter and will continue to do so until this is resolved to my satisfaction.

I reached an operator named Bridgette. She listened to my complaint, consulted her supervisor, then told me that they put in a reorder with a rush delivery, and they would give me a $15 credit on my next order. The next day, I placed 2 more orders through Walmart.com. After placing the order, I called the 800 number again, as I was instructed by Bridgette to do, and explained to them about the credit.
The associate that I reached said okay, she would be right back, she had to confirm with her supervisor. After waiting a while, I was told that they couldn't give me the $15 on the one item because it only totaled $16.95. They could only give me $10. When I explained that I had another order that totaled $119, she told me to hold again. Then she comes back on and says that the supervisor said she can only do $10 because that's policy. I asked to speak to the supervisor. After a long wait, the supervisor, Kimberly, gets on the phone. She proceeds to tell me that it isn't policy to give $15. She can only give me $10. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told there was no one higher than her there. She would only give me $10 off my purchase because she wouldn't jeopardize her job. The Xbox 360 live cards were on sale at Walmart for $12.00, however, Best Buy had them on sale for less at $7.99. So I picked up enough for two years! Finally, I made it to the end of the checkout. I was told a CSM would have to override since I had so many. I waited and waited for the CSM, only walking around and not helping anyone. After 10 minutes, I got her attention. She came over then sent a manager over. The manager told me to go to service desk and they could help me there! So she canceled my entire sale and sent me to the service desk. I got there the same manager and said, "sorry, there is nothing we can do for you. We can not price comp those because it is crashing our system. So you will need to pay our price and call a manager in the morning!".
So then I had to recheck all my items, overpay Walmart price even though the signs all around me in the store say "if you find it cheaper, we will give you a gift card for the difference"! So I called the next morning, asked for the same lady. She told me, "sorry, everyone is gone. You will have to call again on Monday"! I just showed up, went to the service desk and asked again! They don't know anything so they called the manager. She said the department manager knows about it and to call her! They called her. She said, "make the lady come back here and I will explain"! So yet again, I walked back to her to find that she is putting me in line again to wait to talk to her. I left because you know what she is going to say? "Wait in line again for me just tell you sorry, I can't help you!". I mean really? Like she is going to give me a rebate at the electronic counter! So come on Walmart, where's the price comp? Where is the gift card if you find it for less? You guys are losing your touch and I am an unsatisfied customer!

Check your receipts before leaving any cashier's station! It happened at WalMart Supercenter Store Number **** at **** a month ago. I bought a bunch of stuff over $150 and I glanced at my receipt as the cashier was handing me the bags. I saw a cash-back of $40. I told her that I didn't request a cash-back and to delete it. She said that I'd have to take the $40 because she couldn't delete it. I told her to call a supervisor. The supervisor came and said I'd have to take it! I said no because taking the $40 would be a cash advance against my Discover and I wasn't paying interest on a cash advance! If they couldn't delete it then they would have to delete the whole order. So the supervisor had the cashier delete the whole order and re-scan everything!
The second time I looked at the electronic pad before I signed and a cash-back of $20 popped up. At that point, I told the cashier and she deleted it. The total came out right. The cashier agreed that the electronic pad must be defective. Yeah, right! Obviously, the cashier knew the electronic pad wasn't defective because she never offered me the $40 at the beginning. Can you imagine how many people went through before me? And at the end of her shift, how much money she pocketed? Just to alert everyone, my co-worker went to Milford, DE WalMart last week. She had her items rung up by the cashier. The cashier hurried her along and didn't give her a receipt.
She asked the cashier for a receipt and the cashier was annoyed and gave it to her. My co-worker didn't look at her receipt until later that night. The receipt showed that she asked for $20 cash back. She did not ask for cash back! My co-worker called WalMart who investigated but could not see the cashier pocketed the money. She then called her niece who works for the bank and her niece told her this is a new scam. The cashier will key in that you asked for cash back and then hand it to her friend who is the next person in line.
Please, please, please! Check your receipts right away when using credit or debit cards! This is not limited to WalMart although they are the largest retailer so they have the most incidents. I am adding to this. My husband and I were in WalMart in North Salisbury and paying with a credit card. When my husband went to sign the credit card signer, he just happened to notice there was a $20 cash back added. He told the cashier that he did not ask nor want cash back and she said this machine has been messing up and she canceled it. We didn't think anything of it until we read this email. I wonder how many seniors have been or will be stung by this one? This scam can be done anywhere, at any retail or wholesale location! Before leaving the cashier's station! Check your receipt before leaving the stand. I've seen people do just that. Now I'll start! Pass this on to your friends, kids, loved ones.

Store # 2954 650 Main Ave. Norwalk, CT. On 12/01/11, I purchased at Waltmart a pair of pants which clearly displayed with a sale price of $10.96 on the shelf. After I purchased the pants, I checked my receipt and saw that I was charged $12.96 plus tax. I went right to the customer service desk and I asked "Johnny" to accompany me and to verify my complaint that the price on the shelf was indeed $10.95. We went to where I selected the pants and we both saw that the entire shelf was indeed marked $10.95. Both "Johnny" and I agreed that the price was $10.95. We went back to the customer service area where "Johnny" informed the assistant manager "George."
The posted sign directly outside the store clearly states that if the merchandise "commodity" is mispriced your money will be refunded in full. "George" said he spoke to the manager and was told thatt hey would not honor a full refund but would give me the difference. I refused but went back to Walmart two (2) days later and found that they did not change the pricing on the shelf but rather continued to collect what amounts to a 20% increase over the price listed on the shelf. Meanwhile, shopper that don't check there receipts are paying that surcharge and Walmart is profiting from it. That explains why after I complaint they didn't even bother to change the price.

I've called their customer service department multiple times, which only resulted in 50% of calls that were "disconnected", and the reps tell me something different each time I call. When I got home I pulled out the stocking and opened it up and put out the toys for them to play with. The toys were such poor quality that within half an hour, the stuffed toys tore open and the stuffing and squeakers were lying on the floor. These toys are dangerous. On November 23rd, 2011, newlyweds Stephen and Michelle bought a red 26" Men's Mongoose XR-75 mountain bike from Walmart in Chula Vista, California. On December 2nd, 2011, the front tire blew out because the valve was torn and it turned out to be defective. Stephen went back to Walmart to exchange it to the black and yellow Mongoose mountain bike on December 5th, 2011. After riding the bike soon after purchasing it, the left side of the gears malfunctioned and the front brake stopped working. To top it off, while riding the bike, Stephen was on his way to return the bike back to Walmart when suddenly the left pedal completely broke off, which caused Stephen to fall off the bike and land in the middle of the road onto on-going traffic, nearly almost getting hit by an SUV.
After much shock, he managed to walk the rest of the way limping and arriving back to Walmart all distraught, extremely upset, and frantic with symptoms of anxiety, emotional distress, and has now developed a phobia of riding a bike again. Stephen spoke to the assistant manager of Walmart and described what just happened. The Assistant manager initially offered to replace the bicycle free of charge plus a refund. Yet Stephen did not want another bike from Walmart in fear of another bicycle malfunction happening again. Then the assistant manager offered a $50 gift card. Stephen sat down, still in shock over the fact that he may have got run over and hit by a car that night. Yet the Assistant manager went ahead and told Customer Service to give Stephen a refund, plus a $50 Gift card, without asking Stephen his consent about the gift card.
Stephen and Michelle will meet with the Marketing Manager of Walmart first thing in the morning and complain about their defective bicycles. In order to prevent Stephen's situation from happening to someone else, with potential more serious injuries, this type of bicycle, or any bicycle for that matter, should be inspected properly and thoroughly before it is displayed and sold on the merchandise floor. Both Walmart and the manufacturer should be liable.

Before the summer of 2011 (April/May time period) we were going to purchase a $250 above ground pool. We went and they were out of stock and then they told us that they would not be getting anymore in stock and then they said we would not be able to order through them. They told us this in person and then over the phone.
We called the Lake City Walmart and we were able to order the pool and we decided to have it Site to Store there instead of Live Oak's Walmart. When we told them what the staff at the Live Oak store said to us in person and over the phone they said that they were being lazy and just did not want to do their job.
Of course a week later the Live Oak Walmart had the pool in stock even though we were told that they would not be getting any more in stock that year.
When we have been at the Perry FL Walmart we mentioned how we go this way when we can because the Live Oak Walmart is severely lacking, a cashier said she has heard that from quite a few customers.
Oh, and I still remember when they were out of Dramamine for a number of weeks and the associate in that area told me that Dramamine was no longer being made. Of course, the laptop I wanted was not available so I looked for the next best one in the store. Our children or other family members or friends could not stand in line with us, and if we left the line, we would forfeit and not be able to purchase the laptop. I got in the computer line at 10:00 and needed to stand there for two hours! Without the children being able to stand there?
This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. And Heather walked up and down the line like a prison guard verifying no one would come in the line or leave. Whoever heard of such absurd rules? The whole reason for having the computers (and other limited quantity sale items) is to "pull" people into your store. What were we to do with our children if they can't stand in line with us? Did Walmart consider the children being kidnapped in a frenzied store during the Black Friday sale since they couldn't stand in line with their parents? What about someone needing to use the facilities? If you needed to, you’ll lose your place in line? How ridiculous!

I waited while the cashier rang my items and called another employee named Amanda to look at my coupons. One of the coupons had a torn corner, so Amanda said she would not accept it. The next day when I logged onto Walmart Cyber week sale, in the "previously viewed" area, they had it priced for $10 so I added it to my shopping cart but I didn't check out. I went back to Walmart site to check out today, 12-2-11, and the price was still listed as $10; however, as I started to check out the priced went from $10 to $37.
So I called the customer service direct line 1-800-xxx-xxxx. I spoke with Michelle and she stated that she could not allow me to get the DVDs for $10 so I asked her if there was anyone else I could speak to about this issue. She stated that there wasn't anyone whom I could speak with about this issue because she had spoken with her supervisor (I didn't get her supervisor's name). So I asked if I could speak with her supervisor's supervisor and I was connected with Sonya. I explained to her the same thing that I had previously explained to Michelle. She also told me that I wouldn't be allowed to purchase the DVD set for $10 and she goes on to say that this was a site error. I told her that I still should be allowed to purchase the set for $10. I did not cause the error, they did.
So, I asked Sonya if she had an operator number or a last name that I could get. She said there wasn't any operator number that I could get and she didn't give me her last name; however, she replied that she was the only Sonya in the Mississippi call center. I asked Sonya to speak with her supervisor and I was connected to Tornia. Tornia stated that even though it was $10 on the web site, she would be unable to let me have it at that price.
I was under the impression that if an item is priced at one thing and it was incorrectly priced, the consumer is suppose to be allowed to get the merchandise for that price. That particular set of DVD was priced $10 on Black Friday and I just don't understand why a company like Walmart who supposedly pride themselves on customer satisfaction won't honor their pricing especially since they placed the price at $10 after I had decided not to purchase it because it was too expensive at the price of approximately $40.

I was told by the checker that Walmart does not accept manufacturer's coupons. I asked for her manager and then she proceeded to call me crazy and said I was wasting my time and hers.
She got her manager, which she referred to as her "CSM" and that woman then took a 1 second glance at the coupon and said it would not be accepted because the expiration date is too far away, 3/31/2012 to be exact. She "explained" to me that coupons are only accepted within 60 days of expiry. This is a flat out lie, this woman who supposedly had worked for your company for 15+ years and is supervising other employees doesn't even know the simplest info even when it was printed on a laminated piece of paper posted right next to her face! I asked for someone else to help me, I was then told that no one else would waste their time with this and I could either pay full price for the items or leave immediately.
I refused, then they threatened to have the police remove me from the store. They took my cart full of groceries and my personal belongings from me and took it to the customer service area when finally a man, who I believe was of higher authority than the CSM woman, came over with 4 more store employees following him and asked to see the coupon. Immediately he said yes of course we accept manufacturer's coupons and instructed the cashier to continue with the transaction.
This in total was a 45-minute ordeal and I feel if these employees cared about the job they are doing or if they were trained correctly that this could have been obviously avoided. I was treated like a criminal, a liar and embarrassed in front of my family and other customers, why? Why was any of this necessary? Is it illegal to try and save my family money? Most workers does a 3 person job. They take 1 worker, and make them do 3 or more jobs in one day, and get paid $7.45 per hour. That's sad. On top of that, the workers get treated like lower **. Tina needs to be watched. She puts sales clothes up for herself. Runs in to her workers always, talking down on her workers, works off the clock, etc. This Dayton,TN Wal-Mart need to take care of the lower paid workers.

I just finished leaving my local Wal-Mart store and I must say, I have never had such a horrible experience at any store. I am absolutely horrified at the type of people Wal-Mart chooses to place in managerial and supervisory positions. Wal-Mart was, until today, my "go to" store for all of my shopping needs.
I proceeded to make my way to the Christmas section first, and then went on to the clearance section. I came across an entire box of Christmas floral decorations. They were in the clearance section at the bottom of the shelf with not one, but two small clearance red tags that read $6.50. I automatically added 3 to my shopping basket. Finally, I headed to the registers for check out. I was attended by a very nice cashier, whose name I did not catch (store# 3623, op#**).
As she rang up my items, I noticed the Christmas floral arrangements rang up at $10.00 instead of the price posted of $6.50 that was at the bottom of the entire box of arrangements, which I will add again, was in the clearance section. I let the cashier know that these items were priced differently in the aisle. So, our cashier made her way to another employee, or maybe a supervisor that was in the customer service area, by the name of Norma. Norma sent another employee, that was in the customer service area as well, to verify the price. But, first asked us where we had gotten the items from. We told them they were in the clearance area. My husband accompanied the employee to make sure he showed her exactly where the the items were located. Our cashier proceeded to ring up the rest of our items.
Finally, the employee came back to the front with my husband and the red tags on hand. By this time Norma was standing next to my mom and I. As the employee approached her, she let her know that indeed the items were in the clearance section with the red tags that read $6.50. Norma, then called out to another supervisor by the name of Rosalinda and explained the situation to her. Rosalinda then approached us saying that the tag did not pertain to those specific items. I then proceeded to tell her that the price should be honored due to incorrect signage. She immediately said that she could only give me one at that price. I had 3 on hand. I thought that was entirely unfair so I pointed out that used to be a manager at a local retail store and that due to incorrect signage prices had to be honored. Her response to me was, "I am not dumb. I know people move things on purpose. I can check the cameras right now." By this time she had raised her voice at us. She was implying we had moved the items out of place. I had had it with the disrespect at this point, so I raised my voice as well and told he "well then lets go see, show me." She then said she couldn't show us any video because it was private. I told her I was going to call and file a complaint and she said, "that's fine, they're going to tell you the same thing."
I had never had any employee show such disrespect. I am truly appalled at this employees behavior. I most definitely will not be returning to this store despite the fact that I am only minutes away. I know that the whole pricing incident may not seem all too important, but once the manager started raising her voice at my family and I, and falsely accusing us by literally threatening us to check her cameras, I had enough.

I am a graduate student working on my Masters Degree in Gerontology with a certification in Counseling. I am also working at a position that is an equivalent to an internship position. Because of this position, I had to choose and limit the hours I would be available to work at WalMart.
Recently in the past six weeks, I went out of town on a family emergency, at which time my niece lost her baby, and I assisted with that funeral. This past couple of weeks, I had to miss work again due to a family emergency. My step-father we thought had a stroke on a Thursday night; by Friday night, they discovered it was a tumor in the brain and they were planning on operating on Monday. I went out of town to be with my family in this. Monday when they operated, the family was notified that the tumor is malignant and has six months or less to live. I came back home a week later both exhausted emotionally and not feeling physically well. At that time, I saw my family doctor and was placed on medications for ear infection and high blood pressure. Walmart told me then that I had to make a choice and that if I missed anymore due to this family crisis, I was going to be terminated. Since when does an employer have that right?
I told Walmart I quit and I will fight. I should not have to choose between being with my family and step-father and his condition or working at Walmart with no future or hope. Walmart at this point sucks and could care less about the family.

We have a husband and wife duo that works overnights stocking. They get the same days off and get the same schedule all the time while other associates don’t get the same days off as their significant others who work at Wal-Mart. So to make it possible to have family time, we must change our availability and get hours cut. Some of us get stuck with a 9 pm to 6 am shift while the husband and wife don’t ever get stuck with that shift cause the husband has a straight 10 pm to 7am shift cause he’s an overnight dairy associate while his wife is an in-stock associate just like every one else that gets a 9 pm to 6 am shift. Every time things don’t go their way, they threaten to get a hold of corporate and our Wal-Mart babies them.
I’ve also had issues with them before as they are a relative to my ex. She has cut me down in front of people and I’ve talked to management and all they did was talked it out with us. Honestly, other associates have said some of the stuff she said was really bad and that she should have been fired. All other associates have told me I deserve the days off I request and that they are fine with it, but the wife goes and complains to management and then they say they can’t give me the days off I request because she complained. I don’t know what to do bout this. I can’t afford to be cut hours but I also can’t put Wal-Mart ahead of my home life.
I have a home life or lose hours. I feel as if I got to cut my hours so I can spend time with the family. Then either the wife should have to change their availability so they lose hours, too, to make it so they have time with their family. It isn’t right that they get the same days off to spend together while other people got to lose hours to do the same.

I called to see what was going on and was told out of stock and would take 3 to 5 days to credit my money. You are not to take money until shipped but you did anyway. That's fraud. Remember, you canceled, not me. Not only did I not get my order, you took $447.88. I had to go to my bank and stop as fraud and they did. This was the first time I had ever order online and could done at another store. Wish I had but it is too late and missed sale because of Walmart but that's my problem. Now my gas, my time, my order and stress, my money and bank. If you treat all customers like this, you would be out of business.
What happened to me is fraud, taking money that doesn't belong to you and had to stop at my bank when you could have done when you stopped order. Don't take my money and try to tie it up 3 to 5 days and try to turn the problem on me. I had nothing to do with what you have in stock and what you don't. The only thing I did was place an order in stock, pay and try to get a deal like everyone on cyber Monday. But thanks to Walmart, I missed out. No big deal to Walmart because you are not trying to fix. If you wanted to, you have would done so.

My sister, Elaine ***, was going to get my grandsons bikes for Christmas and we all thought using Wal-Mart was a good idea. Silly us. Tim and I went to pick up everything on Friday. We were told not enough time for the order to get into the computer. We went down to the back of the store, found the little bike for Hunter, asked a male employee going by us if he had the bike we wanted for Axel. He checked and couldn't find one but said he knew he had one there. It's his only job to put bikes together. He's in that department so we believed him. Got an alarm radio and came back up front with the little bike. But we can't take just those two items. The order is not in the system yet. It has to be taken all together. Here is where you say, "Oh, my, guess it would just mess up everything, huh?" Someone should help you. People design a program that could help the general buying public to get what they want at anytime or be a little clearer on picking up items purchased online.
This store in Rayham is supposed to be a 24 hour store. Apparently, it's only for a few select things because sure as heck, no one is working on orders. Hey, new concept, sell something. Fast forward to today. Went back to Wal-Mart. Now, there is no little bike that Tim and I personally took up front. There are no Harry Potter books and no big bike for Axel. "So sorry, looks like it was sold. The computer said it was in bin 402 but that's empty. No other bike like it in the store. So sorry." But here is the radio, with a slight shrug of the shoulders and a "See ya" attitude. I left the store.
The girl who helped me tonight credited back to your account. Be sure to check your card, the only thing on there should be the radio. If you want to try again, use Wal-Mart in E. Wareham and you pick out the bikes. Blue is Axel's favorite color and he should have a 20". Hunter's color is anything (LOL for now anyway) and he needs a small bike. Boyish ones, you know? I am so sorry for this mess honey. I know you are working hard and tired and I thought this was such a wonderful idea. If you have any other ideas please let me know. They really want bikes. LOL.

Every item had a tracking number and all but one item showed up quickly and uneventfully. The one item that did not show up (despite having a tracking number). I contacted their email department and was given an automatic generated response with a telephone number which I called. Their 1-800 number is automated as well and didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know.
So I contacted their email department once again and was offered either a replacement item or a refund since they insist item was "lost in delivery." I opted for a replacement item since they do not carry this easel in any of our local stores. I received an email stating a replacement was being sent and to check my account for status updates. Then 6 minutes later, I received an email saying they were refunding my monies within 2 billing cycles. So I'm looking at 31-60 days before I get my monies back. Walmart.com also already owes me an additional credit for the items I picked up from site to store that I haven't seen to date. Needless to say, I will not be using their services again.

Wal-Mart Professed to not only price match competitors but also on layaway items. It took over 3 hours going through every manager getting the run around stating that they do not price match Costco or Sams Club advertised pricing because it requires a membership card. In the Wal-Mart Rules, it says that they gladly match preferred shopping card prices for specific items that are in a printed ad. I printed out the Costco member price of $569.99, the online purchase price that was $999.99; the King5 TV online advertisement to prove I was right.
No where does it state that they do not price match Costco or Sams and their excuse was that they couldn't put all the company names in the rules as it would be too lengthy. Does that mean there are more companies than Costco and Sams I asked and they said no. I think there may be a reason they do not put this in print nor make their rules more concise. They might be hiding behind Gray Areas for a better bottom line while stepping on those customers who just give in to the Wal-Mart excueses and just go home.

When I finalized the order, I noticed that it was being shipped to a Walmart store that is not even in our area. I sent walmart.com an email about the problem and have not heard anything so I called their customer service department and was told that they could not change the order at all. That I would have to cancel the order, go back online and reorder and pay again. I was also told that it would be 7 to 10 days before I could get my refund on my PayPal account.
I was told by their customer service person that this happens all the time and they have no way to correct it. Nice way for Walmart to keep my money for 10 days. I can't believe they can't make a change on an order. What good is customer no service? It was obvious that the customer no service person had no idea what she was doing. She had to put me on hold about four times to check with someone and all she did was read from a script. She said that she canceled my order but could not provide a confirmation number and anything for me to have.
She said that I would have to check my account to see if the order was canceled. Now, I have to either take a chance that Walmart will refund my money or go ahead and reorder and hope that I don't have to fight with them to get my money back. This is not a good experience. I probably will not reorder from Walmart and purchase from another store. I can't believe they can't make changes to orders when the order was placed within the last two hours. Customer no service so buyers, beware if you purchase online.

We inquired about the Vizio 3D TV which we wanted to buy for our daughter and her family and we were told we could not buy it until 8am, so we left the store and went home. I awoke at 5:20am and called the store as the site where the 3D TV was not listed on the store map. Tim in Electronics told me not to bother to come in, they had so many people standing in line all night and he had given out all the "tags" and there was still a long line of people waiting-- how could they get tags before 8am?!
We went out for breakfast and went to the Walmart on the west end of our town, near the state line and got there at 7:20am. I was there with another lady who also wanted the Vizio 3D TV and a Walmart employee guy in a white shirt and tie told us they had people standing in line all night so they gave the tags out. We were still in the store and saw no one leaving with a TV, so I guess they gave the tags out and sold the TVs before 8am which is clearly what the ad said.
I think if you are going to give out tags, anyone who shows up at any time during the sale period should be given a tag and all 40 million tags should be put in a drawing to see who gets to buy the item, and then call the winners and tell them they won and can come in and pay for their TV. It is crazy that people stood from 10pm until whenever the Walmart employees got tired of them standing there and gave the tags out early. That was not right! There was only one person working with us trying to enter all our information into the computer making it a long night.
Although I had requested for that first weekend to be off because prior to being hired I had a commitment for those days, the manager had told me that those of us who were in that orientation will begin Monday anyway because it takes 48 hours for our names to be in the system. We were only given a nametag on that day but were not given the clock in badges because they did not have them ready. On Monday I began work, I walk in to personnel, and they tell me to clock in a very rude manner. I had told them that I didn’t receive a clock in tag. They gave me one and then told me to begin my CBL's. I noticed that my CBL's were for overnight stock, in which I was first called in for but then I had requested cashier and I was told I can do that instead. I was not able to complete my CBL on cashier training because the manager forgot to change it for me. I completed the CBL on Alcohol and Tobacco only. I was told that’s fine and to go on the floor and ask for Sam and they stuck me doing re-shop or returns. I was not given a break at all and was there for 5 hours. Then they put me at the door to collect receipts but no instructions are given to me as to whom and who I do not check. I did no cashier work on this day.
The next day, I began at 7pm again and then I was going to finish working on my CBL. I was told it still hasn’t been corrected for me to just go out on the register and get hands on with another employee. I work on the register for about an hour and then they call me out to go greet customers at the entrance for about an hour. If I don’t go and ask the manager if I’m entitled to a break, I would have been left there. I also tell the CSM that I haven’t received an ID number yet to work the register and she tells me I need to get training for 3 days for the register before I get one. I noticed that 3 other cashiers that began orientation with me were on the registers and I asked 2 of them if they had received their ID numbers and they said yes. How is it possible that they had received it if what the CSM said was true? They had only worked the registers one day and were given an ID number and they were never told to greet customers at the door or collect receipts as I was. I hate to think and turn this into a racial thing but by some of the actions that were taking place and me being the only light skinned there, I just so happen jump into this conclusion. If it’s a rule that that one cannot have an ID number for the register until they have had 3 days of training, it should apply to all and not just the white looking girl.
On my second working day, I was given two 15-minute breaks in which I did an error in punching out that I went to meal those both times. I had thought you punch in and out whenever you go to lunch or any type of breaks so that they can monitor when you are gone or not. As it is, you only punch out for lunch and not the little breaks. Well, when I reported this to the manager, she said she is busy and will not help me fix it that I have to do it myself in a really rude way with an attitude. She was just sitting there talking to another manager fooling around. She wasn’t even busy. It is said that WalMart associates should be friendly. The management in this WalMart in Westbury is highly disorganized and talks down to their employees and is very disrespectful to them. They are very rude, impolite, and there is nothing friendly about them except to those they pick and choose to be friendly with. I had been here for 2 days and I will work on my 3rd day on Thanksgiving (Thursday and Black Friday) which will be the busiest time of the year for the store and I have been given very little training because they choose to have me as a greeter or at the door instead of behind a register getting hands on what I applied for.
Will it be wrong if I call in and say I’m sorry? However, I quit the job because of their lack of professionalism, their poor treatment, their unfairness, and their disorganization. We employees are just a number. The management hires you and then it doesn’t even remember your name and who you are. You are treated like a nobody. I have another job. I am a professional teacher and just wanted to do this for the holidays and do something different. However, I don’t need to put up with that kind of treatment. I feel sorry for those who really need the job and put up with it because it is their only job and the only way they can provide for themselves and their families. Those are the ones that management takes more advantage. It's really sad. I hate quitting on something that I begin with but this store is not worth it. I’m only speaking about the WalMart in Westbury. I hope that it is not like this in others.

She knows nothing about me, but racial profiling was apparently very important to her. In a store where tons of people visit everyday, I don't think this kind of employee will be in your best interest. I did speak to a manager who stated he was going to speak to her. Almost a month ago, I, along with a couple of other associates, were pulled into the office, without fair warning, and were told that we were no longer considered Sales Floor Associates, but overnight stockers, yet I was still responsible for sales, and any type of customer service dealing with the electronics area.
I contacted our regional manager because I had questions and concerns about this recent change, and asked him about it. He had our store manager sit me down and explain to me that it was company-wide, and it had to be done. I just don't understand how they could just, out of the blue, take a level 4 sales floor associate, and demote them down to a level 2 ,without the option of a raise on our next anniversary date. I asked for 243 bullets, 100 grain Core-Locke PSP, and she grabbed the boxes, rang them up, and placed them in a bag, as I was paying for them. I am not an expert on these things, but I learned an expensive lesson. The clerk put "270 130 grain Core-Locke PSP bullets in the bag, which I did not know, until I had made the purchase and gotten home to open everything.
I tried to exchange the boxes of unopened bullets for the correct bullets, but was told because of state laws, I could not return them. I was told that I was supposed to be shown the boxes of bullets, before she rang them up to make certain they were what I had asked for. I was not shown anything. I now have $43.14 in bullets that I cannot use, and have no use for since, I do not own a 270 rifle, or know anyone who does. I work for my money, and I am not wasteful. I can understand what and why the law is, but I am not happy that after 5 minutes of buying a 243 gun, and returning back, and asking for exactly the 243 type of bullets that I wanted, the sales person made a mistake that cost me. Now we took in an ad that was in our Shopping News, as we were finished shopping we went to the check out. The lady looked over the ad and asked the date of these items that were on sale. The Sprite being 69 cents and the Zero being 39 cents each, we showed her the date was yesterday and today's date November 19, 2011. She called an associate over, asked her if she could match the price? The associate said, "no! " Well not only were my husband and I shocked we were embarrassed, because this time of year the store was full of people behind us and watching that something was happening around us. I told them that their ad on TV says they match any price. Now to our surprise the manager, assistant manager said they were instructed they could not match a price ad, only within a 30 minute radius of their store.
So they told us they have it above where the registers are saying some restrictions may apply. We asked to see that, the Manager and Assistant Manager took us over and showed us a hard cover notebook that stated they would only match prices within a 30 minute radius but would not match price with Kwik Trip or Walgreens, which are 2 stores, in a 3 mile radius.
I could understand if they were their own stores but to start making up rules like this, shouldn't the public be aware? And they should have it posted at the doorways when you enter the store, so you don't have to feel foolish at the check out counters. You need to help people understand you really do not match prices!

The Wal-Mart website was running a pre-order special on a PS3 game called Skyrim. I pre-ordered this game because of pre-order incentives from Wal-mart, a $10 e-card and a premium edition textured map. When the game arrived a couple days ago, I noticed that it was not the premium edition.
I e-mailed customer service, and they said to call their video game department @410-586-3685, and they would send me the map no problem whatsoever.
I called the number above, and they basically said they were aware of the problem but that they ran out of premium edition games and they ran out of options. Before the game was shipped, I wasn't notified that they ran out of premium edition games, nor was I given the opportunity to cancel my order because of it. They just shipped the retail version to me. On the phone with the video games department, I wasn't given any options: not for a refund, not for a partial refund, not for a free gift card because they couldn't include the items which I ordered but did not receive.
Getting a full refund for this game would be a challenge, because of the way the receipts were made for this e-card+game+map bundle. The receipt actually says it's $49.95, with no receipt for the extra $10 that was paid for the bundle. So basically, they separated the game and e-card, and the e-card is tied to my Wal-mart account.
Just think. All they had to do before shipping out the item was to e-mail people with pre-orders and tell them they run out of premium edition versions of the game and ask them if they want to cancel their orders.
I've since contacted Bethesda Softworks about this situation, just to let them know that a well-known retailer was selling premium editions of their software and sending out retail versions. I've also sent in a complaint to Wal-mart.
Apparently, a lot of people pre-ordered this game and got the retail version, thinking it was the premium version just because it had a basic map included. After doing various inquiries, I found out that every version of the game had a basic map in it. The premium edition just has a textured map included, which I did not receive.
Customer service ignored my second e-mail to them, but I had found out that amazon.com was giving $15 credit for people who pre-ordered Skyrim and contacted their customer service, concerned about the map they got with their so-called premium edition of the game. So, I e-mailed customer service one last time, and they sent out a quick reply that they could not match amazon's $15 store credit. I was still not offered any other options, such as a full refund for their mistake.
This isn't about a cheap map but rather that this large monopoly can sell you one thing and actually give you something inferior. I just want what I bought and paid for.

Five stars for the rate of my overall experience is meant to me to represent a very bad experience.Me and my girlfriend, who is pregnant with child, attempted to buy frozen Minute Maid orange juice with our WIC vouchers. Minute Maid is not a WIC approved item for Wal-mart. In the freezers, Minute Maid as well as Dole brands, which are not WIC approved either, were advertised in big bold letters, WIC approved. The cashier's supervisor stated that in the WIC approved book there was not Minute Maid nor Dole brands. She stated that Welch's was WIC approved. In the two different freezers there was nowhere to be found a WIC approved sign for Welch's. Everywhere on both shelves was WIC approved signs for both Minute Maid and Dole.
I stated that it was false advertisement and their excuse was that they haven't changed the signs around yet. So you got a new book of approved items since you have changed the signs? No, the book is old. Then why is their signs completely separated from everything else, saying that Minute Maid and Dole brands are WIC approved? Is this not false advertisement? “No, it's not because the government says you can’t get Minute Maid.” Then why is there a sign in front of the products saying WIC approved in your store if they are not WIC approved? I went to the freezers and took pictures of both freezers and all WIC approved signed products and no signed products.
The supervisor called somebody to assist her and left the freezer section. How is this not false advertisement? I do not want to go through this again nor should anybody else go through this, to purchase something for themselves or for their children. I would like this followed up and seen to so that it is changed and something is rightfully done. Fine, I got to check out, had c/o's for free box of potatoes, and coffee, plus a few other items w/out c/o's. I told the cashier that the customer service rep. spoke to the manager and the c/o's were okayed. She called some woman over and they precede to question this. The woman she called over goes over to some cabinet and comes to me with a stack of papers stapled together, shows me 'Wal-Mart's c/o policy'--no free c/o's, no $5.00 & over c/o's, no internet c/o's & on & on.
I went to the customer service first, so I wouldn't hold up the line, but because, obviously, the manager doesn't even know her own store's c/o policies, the line was held up, and I left (along with my husband) somewhat upset. My question is why do the Wal-Marts in this area (Northeast L) have these stupid policies? Because you pull out some c/o's they treat you like you're trying to steal something. All I am trying to do is save some of my own money (which would probably be spent at W-Mart at another time!) I am not out to defraud anyone, and I very much dislike being treated like I am.
I am getting to the point where I am willing to start shopping somewhere else. The Farmerville store is the same, as are the two South of us, Monroe-West Monroe. Most of the time we have to ask to have items scanned for a price seldom does you find a 'scanner working'. I am petitioning for a national policy for Walmart to double coupons. This would completely sweep the market share on one-stop shopping for consumers. Walmart is crazy if they don't put this policy into place soon before someone else does! We may save money with coupons, but I always end up buying other things as well that I don't have coupons for like household items and things for my children. If Walmart doesn't double soon, we will all keep splitting our trips between other stores that do double coupons. Walmart would make a killing if they would just open their eyes to the market on couponers!
Maybe Walmart just needs some new financial advisors. They have to realize that Walmart does not lose a single dime on this policy because the manufacturer pays the coupon back at face value and they make the money back from double in items we purchase there without coupons. It is a win-win situation for Walmart if they will just put a little thought into it.

I purchased it and it said ready by 6pm. Right as we are finishing, I get a text saying Order Cancelled. I logged in and it said it was out of stock even though there were 3 sitting out. Site to Store told me it was listed as out of stock so I needed to cancel and replace my order at another store. I said, "No problem, I will pick it up at another one 5 miles away," trying to work with them. She said, I would have to reorder it, they cannot change the location. I said that is hard to do with a large hold on my funds from trying to purchase the one they said I could pick up by 6. She said, "Sorry, you'll have to wait 3-5 days for the funds to drop off then." She said they have no way of reopening the ticket once it is cancelled. 3 supervisors later, I was still told the same thing.
So, here I am 3 days later. Watched 'part' of the game on a busted TV that I was replacing, have a hold on my funds, and still can't buy a replacement TV. Other than being a procrastinator, none of this is my fault. Now, I live in Litteton, NH, about 40miles away, so why would I make a layaway in Plymouth, if I couldn't make the payments in my home town. After being told I could make the payments in Littleton, I proceeded to start the layaway process but when I went the following week, to make a $20 payment in Littleton, they told me I couldn't. I had to do it where I made the layaway plan.
I then called the Plymouth Wal-Mart and spoke to the manager of layaway, and she then told me Littleton was wrong, and that I should to go back into the store, and have the customer service rep try again. I did, and she confirmed that I could not make my payments in Littleton, only in Plymouth, so now I'm very distraught. I called the Plymouth Wal-Mart again, and talked to the manager named Bobby, who apologized that his employees where misinformed, and I said well what am I supposed to do? 3 people from his store gave me wrong information.
He said he would look into the matter, and call me back. I never received a call back, so I don't think they took my complaint seriously. They gave me false information, and made my Christmas stress, three times worse. Now I have to come up with gas money, to go make payments on my layaway, way more than I planned. I am very upset with how they didn't handle this situation at all. They have done nothing to rectify this matter. The manger said he would call me back, but he never did. He also said something about, leaving me something for my troubles at the courtesy desk, but would call me back, and didn't.

I got the Equate Cleaning & Disinfecting Lens Care System last night. I followed the directions in the box for cleaning and storing the lenses, and when I put on the right lens this morning, I felt a sudden irritation and burning in my eye. I washed my eye immediately with some cold water in hopes that the pain would stop. Although the pain has eased after 12 hours, I can still feel some sting in my eyes up to now. This product is highly unrecommended.

I am tired of choosing a product marked with one price and the checkout charging another and being charged for two instead of one! My last experience there were 3 different problems, two of which I did not catch! Two were price differences and one I was charged for 2 of the same item of which I only had one. Prices are increasing everywhere including WalMart. Every penny counts and we have to watch ours very closely, this should not happen as often as it does.

I was reading a Walmart paper ad. In the ad was to go from November 9, 2011 to November 15, 2011 and have cans of Libby corn in 4-pack. There were a few people standing at the aisle where the corn was supposed to be, but there was no 4-pack of Libby's. The aisle clerk, after a considerable amount of time looking for someone to help, said, "We don't have the corn in a pack of 4 for the price of $4.00. Just the single cans at $0.75 per can." Is this your normal way of doing business? It was at Walmart store 2114 S. Main Street Wake Forest, NC 27587. I would like compliment you. Thanks, but no thanks. I love Libby's corn but undoubtedly, Walmart does too so they raised the price. Goodbye, wally world.

I started working with Walmart in August of 2008. I was excited to be there. Well, in February of 2010, I had to transfer to the Stillwater Walmart due to a job offer for my husband. I thought, “Hey great, a new place to work.” Boy, was I mistaken. They treat their employees like **, refuse to listen to them when they need help, have told me that they do not have time for me, and I am just one of several that they have said this to.
I left my husband shortly after moving to Stillwater. My current fiance is a department manager for Walmart. He has one associate for his departments that he is over and they keep telling him that they will hire someone for him. Well, six months down the road, they are threatening him with his job because according to them he moves too slow. His departments are on opposite sides of the store. For one person, he sure does know how to move.
They are constantly telling him that they do not have time for him, that he moves too slow, that he had better get his departments in order or they would fire him, and just today, they flat told him that he was not allowed to go get our daughter from school, that he had to stay there. In the last six months since he has taken over this department, he has had to put in several 12 plus hour days, was made to clock back in after clocking out for the day because his manager said he was not allowed to go home until she said so.
I have since quit the company and my mother is working for them. She ended up screwing up her elbow and now has to have surgery to fix it. She was put on weight restrictions for her arm and they not only put her back on the floor as a stacker when they knew she could not lift anything, but also gave her a pay cut. Walmart, even though they say that they are a family friendly company, couldn’t care less about family and only cares about the money that they make. I am ashamed to ever have worked for this company. I, myself, was given a D-day due to missing work because my daughter was sick. What kind of place forces you to work when your kids are sick and you are the only person who can take care of them? Especially when both parents work. I was also passed over several times for management just because they did not like me. And I was told this by a manager.

A Wal-Mart customer service manager claimed it had an unwritten policy of not accepting returns of seasonal merchandise despite its published policy of accepting returns. On 11/10/11, I went to Wal-Mart to return a Halloween costume I had purchased for my child but that did not fit him. I had the receipt and the costume was in its bag and it had not been worn. As I was waiting, I saw an older woman, probably a senior citizen, who was trying to return an unopened bag of Halloween candy, also with a receipt. We were both told that the store at 690 Connecticut Ave., Norwalk, CT, had an unwritten policy of not accepting returns of "seasonal" merchandise such as costumes or candy for more than few days after the holiday.
We both explained that we had our receipts, were well within the return period that Wal-Mart states it accepts returns and that neither of us had been told that the merchandise was not returnable. The woman was about to give up and leave. I asked for a manager, and was told she was not in and that all the other managers were in a meeting, but that I could wait 15 minutes or so. I declined to do so, and instead, asked for a telephone number to call the headquarters of Wal-Mart. I was given instead the store's phone number, and an assistant manager came over.
Ultimately, he accepted my return, that of the other woman as well as another one who was trying to return a bag of Halloween candy. However, he did not correct the Wal-Mart employee who was turning people's returns away. I am confident that Wal-Mart is still refusing to accept returns of so-called seasonal merchandise despite its clearly stated return policy which is silent on the subject of seasonal goods. Someone should pursue this.

I went to the Wal-Mart at 1919 Davis Street San Leandro, CA 94577 USA on 11/07/11. There I was trying to cash my check with customer service. The employee, whose name is Allen, ripped a strip of paper attached to the check, detaching it from the check. He tried to process the check through the machine, but it was rejected. The strip of paper contained the routing/check issue numbers vital to validating/cashing the check. Wal-Mart refused to cash the check despite the employee admitting it was his fault the check would not go through the machine. He could not find the strip of paper that he tore from the check. The check was not cash-able due to his negligence.
The customer service manager, Howie, went to speak with other managers and did not offer a sound resolution other than to come back the next day. I went back the next day (11/08/11) like Howie, the customer service manager, recommended. The managers concluded that it was my fault that the check was not cash-able, despite both Howie and Allen, both Wal-Mart employees, acknowledging that it was Allen's fault that the check's bottom numbers were torn off. The store manager refused to speak with us. I called the store later that day (11/08/11) and the store manager was gone already, the person who answered my call put me on hold for 30 minutes. The check is still not cashed and useless to me.
The management at Wal-Mart have refused to take action in order to resolve this issue. Alex **, the store manager did not contact or speak with us. I am a loyal Wal-Mart customer and this is how they treat us.

I normally shop at the Conover North Carolina Store on my way to work between 6-7 a.m. This morning, 11/11/11, I had a very bad experience. First, as I walked into the West door, I noticed hundreds if not thousands of cigarette butts in the pavers leading to the door. This many cigarette butts did not accumulate in one day. I entered the store at 6:34 a.m. I got the few items I needed and went to the end "Speedy" checkout near McDonalds. This was at 6:44. There were 4 people ahead of me in line all with no more than the prescribed limit of 20 items. From 6:44 to 7:05 I watched a totally inept cashier unable to check anyone out without having a problem. It took her 6 minutes to ring out a fellow with two (2) packs of chewing gum!
I went to the cigarette aisle. With only one woman in front of me that already had been checked out, for another 5 minutes, I was forced to listen to their conversation about Flea Markets. I finally checked out and left at 7:18 a.m. For 18 items, I endured over 30 minutes of ineptitude, rudeness, and total disregard for my time before I could get out of the store. I hope this is not what is going to happen during the Christmas season. Oh, wait a minute, yes it will, it's Wal-Mart! One more item of interest. It was 33 degrees outside, and according to my smart-phone the temperature in the store was 77 degrees.
I guess when you're Wal-mart you can waste as much energy as you want while people wearing winter coats have sweat running down their faces waiting for a 1/2 hour to get checked out. I do not normally complain to anybody about anything, but my experience this morning and the filth of the parking lot and pavers was outrageous. I will be shopping at the Hickory, NC Store in the future, or maybe it's time to give Target a try.

Wal-Mart refused to match Aldie’s price on milk at $1.49 per gallon. How can they guarantee lowest prices in their ads if they can pick and choose which items they will match? Giants like Wal-Mart don’t have to abide by the same laws as the rest of us. That’s a shame, false advertising.

Why is that? Is it that I look poor? I ended up crying today because the cashier flat out told me, that there was nothing she could do for me. I was told I needed the ad, although, I have never been asked before and Wal-Mart advertises that you don't need the ad. Is there anyone else in Wagoner, Oklahoma that has been refused a comp ad by this Wal-Mart? If so call me, email me, or something! The Walmart store in Hammond, Indiana #4631 was still being built and had an expected date to open on October 16, 2011.
I was hired at Walmart on September 14, 2011 for the fitting room. I went to an 8-hour orientation that day and was given instructions that I will either be called or to check the mywlamart.com site to see what my schedule was for training. I never once received a phone call and my schedule was never posted on the site. I called 3 days a week since September 14, 2011 to contact personnel and I was always told that they are screening their calls and to leave my name and number and I should be contacted. I never received a call from anyone. I even went up there 3 times and they told me that I was not on the schedule yet and to leave my name and number.
It is now 3 months later and I just called and was told that I was terminated because I never showed up but I wasn't even notified when or what day to come in for training. I checked the mywalmart.com site everyday to see if my schedule was posted but it never was. The lady that I spoke to admitted saying that they had been screening calls but she never got any messages regarding me. She then asked why I am calling 3 months after I was hired and I told her I had been calling but I was always told that I would be contacted but never have. I had no idea that the store had even been open because the 3 times I went up there it had not opened. I asked the lady from personnel for the region number so that I can call corporate and she declined to give that to me and proceeded to tell me she had a meeting and that I can come pick up my check for the orientation and she will be back after 12 pm. She never gave me any reasoning on how come I was not contacted after orientation.
Before even contacting her, I logged into mywalmart.com and there was still no schedule. So then I just wanted to see what happened, 10 minutes after getting off the phone with personnel, I was unable to log on.

He quickly replied that he was sure that us few customers would not hurt the station. I buy all my cigs, gas, and lottery at this place for last 6-7 yrs. I have worked for Walmart for two years and six months. I began working as a part-time photo lab technician and then I transferred to overnight Sales Floor associate in Electronics. Almost a month ago, I, along with a couple of other associates, were pulled into the office without fair warning and were told that we were no longer considered Sales Floor associates but overnight stockers--yet I was still responsible for sales and any type of customer service dealing with the electronics area. I contacted our regional manager because I had questions and concerns about this recent change and asked him about it. He had our store manager sit me down and explain to me that it was company-wide and it had to be done. I just don't understand how they could just, out of the blue, take a level 4 sales floor associate and demote them down to a level 2 without the option of a raise on our next anniversary date. Can they do this and get away with it?

Our local Mountain Grove Walmart. It is terrible about keeping items in stock. Our deer rifle season starts this coming Saturday and already they have no buck bombs and say they will order no more. Certain ammo they are out of and have been for almost two weeks. I finally had to travel 60 miles away to get like 4 items for deer season. They say once the season hits, they stop ordering. I know at least 12 others who wanted ammo and deer hunting supplies and had to go else where, which is bad when we have a Walmart in our own town. Also two weeks ago, I asked them to order a type of cat litter that they use to carry and the Houston Walmart 30 miles away does carry. They said they they would have it in a week. Two weeks later they don't even remember. This town has even started complaining on a local town forum about our Walmart which is truly sad.

I worked for three years as a department manager for Wal-Mart Stores Sporting Goods and was wrongfully terminated under the heading of inability to perform the job without training. Wal-Mart failed to enter me into their own 4 week mandatory training program for all department managers.
After three years and 7 months, Wal-Mart presidents/CEOs and board of directors have ignored me and have not answered a single question about my proven wrongful (34) termination letters; 40 videos along with 34 pages of documented proof that I never received the required training. Wal-Mart is a self-made god besides God and feels that they answer to no one!
How sad? I am a retired military veteran and it really is a disgrace how Wal-Mart can treat American workers without paying a price for this ill treatment upon American citizens in 2011! What say the American population? Georgia workers do not have a voice working in this state. Workers can be fired for good cause, bad cause, or for no cause at all. How sad?
