I had bought a laptop the night before. I went in today and tried to return it and get another one. They wouldn't let me. I walked up to the service desk and told them I wanted to return this item. I told them I have the receipt, but I think someone had owned it before me because the owner's manual was not in it. So they told me to go back to the electronics and pick out the one that I had wanted. I waited there for 10 minutes while a girl went to "get the keys" for the computer storage. She came back and told me that I have to go upfront to the service desk again. I got up there and they told me I can't return it. I have to wait until tomorrow. I need to call the overseeing manager or something. I told them that I need this today. I guess they went and got another manager to talk to me.
Now I go to Walmart a lot and almost every time I'm there, I see this guy following me around. I know he's an employee because he has an ID on. The manager that they had called was none other than the stalker guy. Now let me give you a little more background on my purchase. This is the third laptop that I have bought and returned in 3 days. Nothing was wrong with the other laptops. I didn't break them or scratch them or anything. I just didn't like them. They weren't for me and I'm not going to be stuck with something I don't like if I paid $400 for it. Anyway, the guy said that I should either call or come in tomorrow. I don't get what the big deal is. It's not like you can just open the laptop bow and see if you like it. I don't know, maybe I'm just picky.
The point is that they still get their item back. I'll go and buy a new one and they still get their money. Oh and not to mention that the guy is super creepy, but he also had an attitude. Well after I had one first, but I was mad that they wouldn't let me return it for another one. Plus he is a professional. So even if I had an attitude with him, he shouldn't have had one with me.

Key chains that were all in the same bin; some rung up $3 and some were ringing up $1. They refuse to honor the $1 price even though the day before, they changed them all to a dollar for me. I asked for the manager and they sent me some girl who can barely speak English and could barely read her receipt. She told me the phone number was the store number. She insisted she was the manager even though the manager’s name on the receipt is Pete **. The cashier was extremely rude and treated me like a moron. And when I asked for the manager for the first time, she refused to get me one I had to go to customer service and complain. I will not recommend this Walmart to anyone.

I heard yesterday that the local food store in our area had boneless pork loin for $0.99 a pound. They ran out. I am disabled; my husband is disabled. We both have cancer and heart problems and had strokes previously. I am on oxygen. Husband had a ruptured aortic valve with replacement. I told the Wal-Mart store would they ad match. Yesterday, I was told yes. They left a note at the customer service desk that it was ok. Today, I called before we left home. The drive is total of 70 miles, and my husband has no eyesight on one side due to blood clot. Also, it’s near Christmas time and drivers are scary. I spoke to two men a total of three more times. I was told to come on down.
We get down there, and the CSM Justin said no, they would not honor the price match. He said it was not advertised in the paper. Every time I spoke to someone the total of five times, I told them the advertisement was on WELD Radio Station in Fisher, WV. I called on my cellphone and found out there was over a 15-minute wait to call 1800Walmart. I left everything sit for them to put back and came home and called 1800Walmart from my home phone.
I am still upset. Gas is expensive, and they could have told me they would not honor this before we left and went to the store. They totally lied to me. Then, when we got there, they said it would cost $3.98 a pound. I was told when I reported it, something would definitely be done about it. I will wait for five days for a phone call to see if that happens. 1800Walmart told me if it is not straightened out, call them back, which I will do. This was just plain wrong. How can they say they ad match, then tell me on the phone they will then when we get there, they say no? I am very much upset. My blood pressure is up, and I feel bad.

I went in tonight to make a return to your store (Grand View Hwy, Vancouver, BC, #1104), and I was treated very poorly. I was almost refused to return my $14 item without a receipt. I'm very aware Walmart does make returns without receipt. Therefore unless it is an expensive item, I rarely keep the receipt. I must spend at least $200-$300 a week in this store and the item that I returned tonight I had purchased a few days before from the assistant manager himself in till #18. The other females there stated to the manager on duty tonight that I always make returns without receipt. It should not matter if your store takes things back without a receipt; it's not my fault.
It seems as though this store and the employees just plainly don't like me personally. The way they acted was as though I had stolen the item. I told her to check the camera and I would wait. I said, "Check it for tonight and 2 days before. I bought it at till no.18." I guess she realized I wasn't guilty and and then said no, she would return it this time but if I ever tried to return anything in the future, she would refuse. Well, I'm ready to take action against this store for the way I was treated. They should have every bit of respect for their customers and the people working there have only showed a lack of it today, 12/14/12, just before 21:04:17.
I also have had previous incidents where a bottle of nail polish broke in my hand while holding it and another when I had bought some food. And when I came home, the gallon of milk that was bagged had ripped and fell and exploded all over the interior of my car. When I called in to complain. I was told that it was my fault that I did not ask the cashier to double bag the milk. I've been there and cashiers have thrown the items into the bag with unnecessary force therefore destroying the boxes and bread, shaking up the 2-liter bottles. Since the store has opened, I have been shopping there and have had many incidents. I find people there are very rude and have no knowledge.
I have also been in the store and it is cluttered with boxes blocking every aisle making it a very big fire hazard and it's impossible to get around the store. I have pictures to prove this from a trip I made over the summer. I was just so stunned and amazed I had to get pictures. I will be looking into getting a lawyer. I am very very fed up with this store.
Why do I think it is something against me personally? I go to this store 2-3 times a week. In most cases, I spend between $100-$150 each time. I am a white, 30-year-old female mother of 2, well-kept, always dressed up, always have nice designer bags, nails always done (in line, I was getting complimented on my nails just prior to the incident and the females noticed). My clothes are always put together. I prefer to pay with cash, so I always have lots of money in my wallet and have seen the cashiers look at the amount of money I have when I pay and my husband as well. The people that work there know me and my husband and I am very friendly with everyone at the store. My husband always parks up front so a lot of the employees have seen I have a luxury SUV. These 3 females just plain do not like me because I am not in their shoes. I do not apologize for my fortune in life and I should not be treated like dirt because they hate theirs or me.
I have photos from my visit in the summer you can see in the photos the aisles are blocked in every picture. I needed to get paper towels and the aisle was blocked, so I could not get any. All the photos are from the same night.

I am so sick and tired of Walmart advertising Maxwell House coffee for $2.47 (can) and not putting on how many you can buy! I went to the store this morning, the first day of the sale, to find a gentleman had loaded an entire cart full of coffee and his wife was doing the same thing. The shelf was almost empty. I had to ask them to let me have 2 lousy jars! When I told customer service, they just said, "Oh, well, sorry." That will be the last time I fall for Walmart's shady deals.

My name is Judith **. My husband and I went to store #2189 on 12/06/12 and had a really bad experience at the fabric department. We bought two sets of fabrics - one was marked as $4.44 per yard and the other $8.44 a yard. Everything was alright until we went to checkout and found out that the fabric that was marked as $4.44 was marked in the receipt as $5.44. We complained with the cashier and she told us that we have to go back to the fabric department and make them change to the price that was originally marked. We went to the fabric department. We told the lady working at that time there what happened and showed her the price marked on our receipts and on the item. She said that the price was marked incorrectly, so we asked to talk to the store manager.
The Store manager never showed up. The employee was trying so hard to find anyone who can help us, but no result at all. Finally, the assistant store manager ** showed up after almost an hour waiting. We were very upset. He didn't give us any apologies - anything at all. He just told the employee to change the price manually and initial the receipt. He left without even looking at us. Very rude attitude and unprofessional manners. We went back to checkout and the cashier said that the procedure that they made was incorrect and left service light on for the manager that never came to help or at least to find out what's going on. The cashier found the way by herself.
Both employees, the one at the fabric department and the cashier was very nice and polite, and were trying to help us as much as they could. We do shop at Walmart 2-3 times a week and this is the first time in years that we had a problem. We are very upset at this time and may not go back to Walmart at least for the holiday.

I ordered a Straight Talk card for my daughter's phone on 12/09/12. The money left my PayPal account that night, but the card was not sent. The website said email delivery was usually immediate, but could take up to 48 hours. That was 96 hours ago. I have not received an email delivery, although they have managed to send several advertisements. I have emailed several times and got a form letter back. Customer service (after a 25-minute hold time) referred me to a website which sent me back to the email link, which sent an automated response that suggested a call to customer service.

This is the first time I have ever complained online. I wrote a letter to Walmart, but I did not receive a response (no surprise there). I have Graves' Disease, which if you are not familiar with it, has a whole list of problems. Among them, your eyes bulge out. On top of that, I was in a car accident and have problems with my jaw/teeth (from the airbag deploying). Anyway, during October of this year, I went to Walmart to pick up things for my kids for trick-or-treating, including "zombie" makeup.
As the clerk was ringing up my order, she looked at me and started to laugh. I was puzzled. I asked her "What's so funny?" She said, "Nothing." She kept on ringing my total. She was a young girl of about 19. There were a couple of other teens behind me in line. She then began looking back at them and "smirking." I was totally puzzled. I paid for my items and left. I took about 15 steps and then realized that I forgot a bag that was sitting alongside the bag carousel, and I turned to walk back and retrieve it.
When I approached the check-out that I had just left, I overheard the clerk saying "I know, she doesn't need zombie makeup. I thought her eye was going to fall out on the belt." Then I heard laughing. I could only see the back of the clerk (so she was unaware I was approaching her). I stopped in my tracks horrified, and I turned back around and left the store. I even left my bag of (paid for) cat food sitting there. I guess I should have approached someone, a manager or someone. But, at the time, I was so close to bursting into tears. I just wanted the safety of my car.
I am so ashamed of how I look. I know I look different, but I thought Walmart was a mix of all kinds. I wasn't shopping at Rodeo Drive with all of the rich and snobby people. I was at my Walmart! Since then, I do not shop anymore and rarely leave the house. I do not go to outside activities at my children's schools and basically dropped out of life. My doctor has had to put on antidepressants for depression. Until you find your self "left-out" of society and overlooked because you "look" different, you have no idea what it is like.
I wrote to Walmart. They have never responded. I cannot believe that they have employees treating disabled persons this way. What is the world coming to?

The store had three registers open on one end of the store with long lines and one register open on the other end with long line. A store manager was present chatting with a friend and would not have more registers opened. This has been a continuous problem at this store. Walmart came to Brookhaven, MS and ran all the other businesses out and then provides the worst service. I will think twice about finishing my Christmas shopping at Walmart. I will drive 50 miles to shop somewhere besides Walmart and get good service.

I purchased a Samsung home security camera system on November 17, 2012 and decided to return it (unopened) because the reviews I've read indicated that the camera resolution was low. I brought it back to the Buena Park, CA Walmart where I purchased it from and was told by the Supervisor Valerie that the receipt I had said this item was actually a camcorder and it could not be returned after 15 days. I would not fault Valerie or the store if in fact this item was indeed a camcorder (or was listed as an item with a 15-day return restriction). However, Valerie stood steadfast in repeating that the item was a camcorder because the receipt said it was (not the description on the upper part of the receipt, but under the return policy statement at the bottom).
Disbelieving that anyone could maintain that a clearly labeled box (Samsung home security system) was in actuality a camcorder, I asked her to speak with her manager. After disappearing for several minutes, she came from nearby and said that her manager thought it was a camcorder as well. Valerie suggested that I leave the store and go to another Walmart and try to return it! At this point, I asked to speak with the store manager. A gentleman by the name of Miguel arrived, quickly looked at the box, overrode their objections and provided me a refund. I will be very hesitant to purchase another large ticket electrical device from Walmart in the future.

I am not a fan of Wal-Mart stores because of past experiences while shopping there. In hopes of still being able to take advantage of the advertised prices of some fleece-lined jeans for my sons, I decided to try Walmart.com. Well let me tell you that is no better. I ordered on Cyber Monday in order to take advantage of the free shipping offer only to find out two weeks later my order was canceled because my item was not in stock. The website clearly states that once an item is paid for in your cart, that item is secured. Clearly not true. I spoke to a representative that told me they look in two warehouses for the items and if they can't find them, they cancel the order.
Perhaps, if the website stated that stock was low in the item in the first place, I wouldn't have been so unexpecting. I asked if they could locate the items at a store level in my area and ship to me or to my local store. I was told that they couldn't tell me which stores had it but that I could check online again tomorrow and reorder. Seriously, why would I waste my time? I just couldn't believe the lack knowledge in regards to how to get me the item. I even asked if I could speak to someone else that could help me only to be told that she was perfectly capable of assisting me. Sadly, customer service seems to be very low on the list for this company. Never again. I will spend a little more somewhere else but with peace of mind knowing that I matter.

I'm in a same sex relationship with a woman and my partner and I recently visited our neighborhood Wal-Mart in Elizabethton, TN. While there, my partner hugged me around my neck and kissed my cheek and lips. (No groping, indecent exposure, or even tongue was involved.) It was then we heard someone yelling, "Girls! Girls!" When we looked over, we discovered it was an employee. "Yes?" we said. "You guys need to cut that out right now!" was her reply. I said, "Excuse me?" Then, the customer who she was helping at the time said, "Yeah, she's right! My children are watching!" The employee and customer just agreed back and forth with one another. Being humiliated enough, my partner and I walked away and found a manager.
After informing the manager of how her employees treat their customers, we were told the employee would be talked to. I left my name and number with the manager asking for a call back with feedback as to what happened. I was later phoned with the information that the employee would more than likely be written up. More than likely just does not seem to be very good reassurance to me. And even if I was assured that the employee would in fact be written up, I don't think that is anywhere near justification for what we were put through and not to mention laws being broken. Discrimination law is the branch of law that covers discrimination and refers to unfair treatment that is based on a characteristic protected by the federal and state non-discriminatory laws such as age, disability, sex, national origin, race, color, or religious beliefs, etc.
Unfair treatment that occurs in the workplace, housing, public accommodations, education, voting rights, or criminal process may implicate anti-discrimination laws, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Housing Act, and the Voting Rights Act. This woman, this employee of a major business, discriminated against my partner and I and we're humiliated publicly. For that, a slap on the wrist will not suffice. I hope a Wal-Mart executive does come across this review because they should be warned that I am currently seeking professional help with the matter and legal actions will be taken.

I want to report an issue with Walmart.com that has arisen since I began using the website. They are sending out automated emails with customer information that they claim is a site error. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau and to Walmart.com directly and they have not resolved the issue. Here is the problem. They are sending out emails with the subject "You Left Something in Your Shopping Cart at Walmart.com" but I don't have anything in my cart. When I spoke with them, they were rude but they assured me it was a site error. When I pointed out I am a website developer and that I know exactly how this works and that I know it can be fixed with a simple piece of code, they said they have fixed it. I am still getting them. The email is addressed to me but its link is back to my cart.
I have two problems with this scenario. First, if the site is sending out information from my cart, who is to say it is not sending out information to someone else with my personal information in it? If this is a site error, then why is it not being addressed? Since I am in the industry I can assure them this can be resolved in minutes. I believe this is a scam by Walmart.com to send emails to clients and lure them back to their website without it being considered spam. That makes it a scam. I am reporting them to as many sites as I can so they get the message, the public will not stand for this!

Port Covington Wal-Mart exhibits a poor excuse of customer service. This evening, I purchased a storage bin that was on sale. The rollback tag listed it as $9.97. I happily took it to the counter where I was then charged $11.97. I asked the cashier why I was not charged sale price and she stated, "I don't know. It didn't come up," and proceeded to say, "Have a nice day." It's 5:28pm in the evening. I then went to the customer service counter and asked about the sale. The salesperson took my receipt and proceeded to flounce around the station area to go off somewhere. I asked where she's going. She said she'll check the price and that I can come with her. I walked all the way back. She checked something and then flounced back to the station not saying a word. I asked if it was indeed on sale and she said yes.
At the station, she reimbursed me my difference, never once apologizing for the inconvenience. I asked if there will be a correction in the system so this doesn't happen to anyone else. She never answered but just handed me my change. I sought out a supervisor and asked the question of him. He said it will be corrected. He did not ask what the problem was or what product was the issue. He asked if I was reimbursed, apologized, and walked off. Apparently, I have been introduced to the store tactic of catch me if you can. Don't check your receipt so you'd never know you were robbed.

On Dec. 7, 2012, I shopped at Walmart for food, etc. I was in the store for about an hour. Not once did I see an associate, which is usual for this store. When you do happen to find one, they respond with "This isn't my department" and walk off. The cashiers are the worse ones I have ever experienced in the years I have shopped. Today, I waited 12 minutes for a lady in front of me with a large bag of dog food and 2 toys. When it was my turn, I timed the cashier. It took her 22 minutes to ring up and bag my groceries. I had 6 bags when she was done. When I first walked in, I had a return with the receipt for a rug to return. The cashier and the other two workers standing there accused me of shoplifting the rug! I had the receipt in my hand, clearly visible to them. After arguing with them for almost 10 minutes, they finally refunded my purchase.
I asked for the manager, and of course, he never showed. After passing him on the way out, sitting at the subway having coffee, I told him. He just gave me a blank stare. I have worked in stores for many years and I can say our Walmart has the worst employees I have ever encountered in a store. They called 4 times for more cashiers and none ever showed. It was at 10AM when I left and wasn't a lot of people in the store. I've given this store way too many chances and seriously doubt I will spend any more time or money here. I placed two orders on November 30th, 2012 (Terra London Rectangle Area Rug Black/White/Red; Size: 5'3"X7'6", and a Kebo Futon Sofa Bed, Multiple Colors; Color: Black). I received the carpet, however did not receive the futon. In addition, the package was supposed to be received either on the 3rd or 4th of December 2012. I contacted FedEx, since they're the shipping merchant and they were really rude to me. They explained to me that my package was not a priority and also explained to me that my package will be delivered on the 5th between the hours of 12pm -1:00pm. With disappointment I say to you that no package was delivered to me.
Furthermore, that same day around 16:00H, I contacted Wal-Mart customer service (800-925-6278), explaining the issue that had occurred. They explained to me that your package was cancelled and will be delivered the following day on the 6th. I explained to the Wal-Mart staff that nobody bothered contacting me about this and nobody from FedEx notified me about this update. I am still waiting for the (Kebo Futon Sofa Bed) to be delivered.
I believe that you are legally required to deliver the item to me within a reasonable time. I therefore believe you have failed to fulfill this obligation so you are in breach of contract. I am therefore making time of the essence to our contract. If you do not send me the (Kebo Futon Sofa Bed, Multiple Colors; Color: Black) within the next 3 or 5 days, I will consider our contract at an end and will expect you to provide me with a full refund of $117.63. (This includes taxes and shipment fees.) On a personal note, this item is for charity purposes for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. I was also unfortunate to suffer from this terrible hurricane and lost my home. I am slowly trying to rebuild my home and restore any damages that have been done using your company to help do that. So please pay attention on our complaint and try to redress our grievance. I look forward to receiving your response to this letter as soon as possible.

You can never find one during the day. I usually go at night so as to get one. The last time I went, guess what? No carts. No greeters to help me find one. Someone emptying the trash said two were broken down in the back. She of course did not offer to go see if there was one at the other end. At any rate, I went to Food Lion and spent my money. This is a small town and does seem to have quite a few people that need the carts, but there aren't enough even before the flood. The following remodel, still not enough carts. So I guess disabled people don't matter to you. Big surprise. You know, you really need to work on your image. Just saying. I think this Walmart doesn't think they have to worry about their image since they are the only one in this town!

Walmart Fish Department in Waycross, Georgia - I have complained a couple of times to the staff that no one is taking care of the tanks at my local Walmart. Fish are left dead in the tanks and the tanks are never cleaned. Kids continually put betta fish in with each other and watch them fight to the death. Tonight, there were two goldfish that had been scooped on the floor and trampled. Someone also urinated beside them! A young boy got me and showed me and told me no one that worked there had come by. The nets were just sitting the lowest tank for any child to access the tanks! Walmart should not be selling fish if no one is assigned to watch the section. Even the manager told me no one looked out for that section. What's the point in selling fish if you are only killing them?

I used to work at Walmart in Mt. Vernon WA. I quit because when I would report people stealing, they did nothing when it came to the white Americans that dressed nice or looked hot. Also, men got treated nicer then the ladies, plus they wouldn't pay me my holiday pay, overtime, and when I worked after midnight. Ever since I quit, the security guards would follow me around when I shopped and I have never taken anything from any store. They had no reason to suspect me every time I paid for everything. Well after 3 years of this, I started calling them out I got pissed. The only Walmart that did this to me and my ex was Mount Vernon, WA.
Today, I went to Walmart, bought a sheet set then went to the toys. Again, security followed me, so I got down my aisle and I said security got nothing better to do than harass me. I told a guy better watch out, security is watching this aisle. This guy was by himself, had his cart full. I thought he was shopping, not a theft, until I saw his wife. Then I knew so I left, said nothing to her and went about shopping. This security guy who has stalked me at the other stores and has told Kmart managers that my ex is a shoplifter, followed my ex and I to the mall and went into 2 different stores we did after about 20 minutes, he left. But that was ridiculous for a Walmart loss prevention to go all that way for no apparent reason and not only that Walmart probably paid him to shop and to work security at other stores. Mind you, we have never gotten caught for shop lifting, never been banned from Walmart. All I am is an ex-employee shopping at Walmart.
So today I passed him after I left the aisle I was in and I looked at him. He looked different. I was staring, I guess he called me a ** and glared at me. The loss prevention came up to me and told me “You are banned from all Walmarts. You can never shop here.” I asked why. They said “You informed a thief we were watching him.” And I said, “No, you were following me. All I said was better watch out for security.” They said, “You need to leave now or I will call the cops.” I asked them to and they never did. I walked to my car and the loss prevention guy was outside and he said, “Tell your husband he is banned.” I said what for. He replied because I said.
I don’t shop at Walmart that much anymore anyways so it doesn't bother me that I got banned. It bothers me the way I was treated after becoming an ex-employee. I didn't know any of the security guards that followed me for the last year, so I don’t know what my ex and I did. How can they ban someone when they are not around? I feel bad for my ex. The next time he goes in the store, the cops will get called and he won’t know why. How do they ban someone for guessing their security guards? Why after I have complained about that security guard stalking me off Walmart’s property does he still get to be a loss prevention and with the filthy mouth? I don’t like thieves and if that guy would have looked like a thief, I wouldn't have said a thing. All I am saying is the security guard that works at Walmart is not very professional. Next time he stalks me, I am going to call the cops. I am not a cop caller but I am tired of security thinking they are the law.

When trying to explain to whoever answers the phone at 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm at # 713-300-0511, they were extremely rude when asked for help and all I got was a laugh and a hold, with words still coming out of my mouth asking not to be put on hold! I ordered a TV online. My question was, "Is it in yet," so I can drive to the store which is quite a drive away from home at least 20 minutes. Why can't Walmart please put someone responsible behind the other end of the phone? For me, no more Walmart, I want a response soon and what is being done.

I do not like Wal-Mart layaway. After my last experience, it has soured me on Wal-Mart as well. I went to retrieve a layaway. The bill totaled $103.16, and I gave the cashier $110.16. She then informed me that she was going to put my change on a shopping card. I then said that made no sense at all. I wanted my cash back. She said this is how Wal-Mart ensures you spend your money in their store. I say shame on you Wal-Mart. You lost a customer. I then gave her $105.16 and said, “Get me a member of management.” After the manager came up, I got my change finally. I then called complaint center. They said a supervisor would call me right away. That was a week ago. I will go to Kmart from now on. You all can embezzle someone else’s funds. - A very unhappy customer :(

We had called the night before and were told there were three of the items we were looking for. We drove some distance to a Walmart in Elizabeth, CO (we have a Walmart in our own town but they were out of the item). When we went to the home and garden department for the item, there were two employees just standing there talking. They were not with any other customers. When we asked for help they just shook their heads and said they couldn't help us, as they were not working the night before when we had called. They offered no help and made us feel like we had bothered them. Not a very good way to treat your clients or create goodwill. Word of mouth advertising goes a long way you know. The young girl in customer service, however, was very helpful even though the item we were looking was not at the store when inventory said there were three. So kudos to the girl in customer service for at least trying and shame on the two women in home and garden for not wanting to do their job!

On Monday, 11/19/2012, I left three cameras to be developed from our honeymoon. When I dropped them off, I was told they wouldn't be ready until Saturday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. I came to pick up my photos on Sunday, 11/25/12 and after waiting for 15 minutes while mounds of Walmart staff walked by me and more congregated in the electronics department, I walked over and asked if someone could help me, “I am here to pick up my photos.” As they tossed around who would or who should help me as they were all too busy holding a personal conversation and laughing to help a customer while they’re surely on the clock and being paid, one sales clerk offered to walk over to help. You would think it would be a great thing, not! She actually treated me as though she was doing us a favor as she does not work in the photo center and they need to get someone to be over here for their customers. Wow!
She looked and could not find them, she asked my name five times as if ** is a hard name to remember. I even had to confirm the spelling. No pictures, so I left. I returned on Thursday, 11/29/12, there was no one to help in the photo center. I waited eight minutes and walked over to electronics where five staff members were, but I walked up to two females who were obviously in a personal conversation and asked if they could help me or call for someone to help me in the photo center. One walked over, looked in the cabinets and on the countertops where pictures are printed and said they’re not ready yet. I asked to questions, simply said thank you and walked away.
I went down to customer service, an even worse scene. No one wants to work? The line is long, five staff members behind the desk at a time and only one cashier was open. After waiting in line to ask for assistance in photos, I was told there’s someone up there, we don’t print photos in customer service. Duh! Who’s doing the employment screening and hiring for Walmart? I walk back up the escalator (Walmart in Putty Hill, MD is a two story) and a young sales guy walked over and now there’s a line at the photo desk.
There was still a group of Walmart staff congregating in the electronics department, as this sales guy walked over, he made sure to let us know, “I don’t work in this area and I get off in two minutes but I’ll try to help as much as I can until I get off.” I could keep going with the foolishness I witnessed in the Walmart 1238 Putty Hill Ave. Towson, MD 21286 store, but the moral to this story, still no photos! I’ll try back again today. Maybe I will go as far as to go look for them myself.

Two days later (11-27), I went into the "what was going to be" the pickup store and saw 5 copies of the game in the case. But of course, now the game is $59.96, not $15.00. I called Walmart online and was on hold for half an hour. After explaining everything to the woman and being put on hold 2 more times, she tells me that there is nothing that she can do for me! Rotten Starkist tuna with maggots - On 11/28/2012, I went to your Walmart store on 157 Avenue and 88 St. in Miami, FL 33196 to make my weekly purchases as always. I am a regular customer of Walmart and never have I come across something so disgusting in my life. I got home and began unpacking my groceries. I noticed that there was a weirdly strong scent coming from one of the bags. I looked inside and there lay some asparagus, tuna and mushrooms. As I was concerned that it may have been the vegetables, I removed those from the bag first but the smell remained. There I saw that the plastic of the tuna was wet with what seemed to be the remains of another broken can, etc.
As I was hoping this was the case, I placed the 4-pack of Starkist tuna in my sink and began to remove the outer plastic to wash the container. Little did I know what I would soon be encountering. I opened the plastic slightly and my kitchen was instantaneously flooded with a wretched odor that was impregnated in my nose. Not only that, but I removed the plastic a bit more and maggots fell out of the can! This was the most disgusting and unsanitary thing I have ever had to encounter! Not only was it terrible to my senses, but to my hygiene as well. Now 12 hours later, I am beginning to feel sick. I do not know if the exposure to the rotten fish might have had anything to do with it, but I am worried for my health.
This is of extremely high concern to me because I used to trust your products and now I will not be able to consume anything from your stores without doubting the integrity and regulation screenings they have passed. I do not understand how the FDA does not have regulations against this nor can I fathom how your employees do not screen your products thoroughly enough to find a broken tuna can with maggots. Attached you will find a photo of this ordeal. I am honestly just concerned about how this was not in your control.

On Thanksgiving Eve 2012, our 5-year-old great-granddaughter underwent major surgery at Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She had her left kidney removed along with a Wilms' tumor (cancer). We thought it would be great to purchase her a small TV for her bedroom, knowing with her condition, she would be somewhat more comfortable watching some of her programs that are of interest to small children in her bed. We live in Florida while our great-granddaughter lives in Texas. After failed attempts with Walmart online, we phoned a store closest to our granddaughter with an idea that after the purchase had cleared, she could pick it up at customer service, give them proper ID, and get it all set up for her little angels' welcome home. At this point, we called store # 5898, only to hear that this is against company policy to purchase over the telephone. They suggested that we buy it online. Another attempt failed after the second try online.
Now, unfortunately, they refused our sale which left very ill feelings on our part. Yes, we did get our angel a TV set but figured another alternative to take. She is home now but has been diagnosed with cancer growing in her lung. Thanks, Walmart, for your sympathy and understanding. We have been asked in the past to contribute to Children's Miracle Network through you, but if you have no beating heart for our concern, we have no beating heart for anything you do or say ever again! We asked to make a purchase from you; we didn't ask for your so-called policy and denial. Matter of fact, we emailed your corporate, but so far, no response. The maps were wrong. When we entered the store, the aisles were lined with employees. Not one of them knew where the Compaq laptops were, not one! When we found where they were, marked by a balloon with the number #4 the size of a quarter, they were, of course, all gone. I then proceeded to the 32-inch Emerson TV line. Per the flyer, if you were in line between 1 am - 2 am, you would be guaranteed one TV. I got my TV and was told the limit was 6! Well, a scuffle ensued when one man had 9 TVs!
I went to the store manager about the employees not knowing where anything was and the fact that they did not limit the TVs and he just shrugged and said there was nothing he could do! So, I paid for my TV and put it in the car and came back in for a WII game. It was a big mistake. They were locked up in Electronics and no one could find the woman with the keys! When she showed up, she had to try at least 5 different keys and took one game out at a time, locking the glass cabinet after retrieving each one, fumbling with the keys each time. When she had gotten 5 requests filled, she said we would have to go to Photo to get them and pay for them. When we arrived in photo, the one cashier couldn't figure out how to get the security tags off people's purchases. People were irate, she needed a key for the locks and no one could again find the woman with the keys.
It was a nightmare. People were swearing. It was hot as Hatti and some customers brought babies to add to the mass pandemonium. Never again will I set foot in the Northborough, MA store. Hondo, Texas Wal-Mart: Advertisement clearly reflected the three sale events starting at 8PM Thanksgiving night, 10PM and 5AM the next morning. Two of the items I wanted were on the 10PM sale event. I got to the store before 8PM, thinking I might like some of the sale items at that time slot too. Right away, I asked where I could find the 10PM item so that I could stand in line or do whatever I needed to do to be ready for when it went on sale at 10. I was told that particular item was already sold out. Well I come to find out people were allowed to fill their carts at 6PM with items that were not going on sale until 10 - four whole hours before the sale time! I thought that was just plain wrong. Very bad advertisement. The next day, I went back and spoke with one of the store managers who told me he was not there the night before. But he advised me that what he knew to happen sometimes was that if the crowd began looking like they might fight for a certain item. A lot of times they just go ahead and open up that item for sale right away to defuse the situation.
So basically, Walmart caters to the violent people who don't respect the Walmart store environment nor their Black Friday sale event's time and the honest customer gets the shaft. I was told there is nothing the police can do about it so they defuse the situation this way. Well what happened to removing troublemakers from the store? Any other time it would sure happen, you'd get escorted out by the local police! But on this one day, when people plan their shopping lists and leave their friends and family at Thanksgiving to go to the Walmart Black Friday event, only to find out the local, loyal shoppers get the screws while the people from surrounding towns come in and act like they are going to start trouble and they get catered to.
I hope Walmart starts looking at this problem very closely because they are going to end up losing good customers that way. Plus their reputation is already shot as far as their Black Friday circus goes. I for one will not bother to go again if they can't control their violent troublemakers and treat the good, loyal customer with more consideration.

We went to customer service to complain (they were very nice) and were able to get the layaway people to get TV for me and also saw Mr. "I'm too busy wondering around" over there, joking with the layaway people. All in all, I'm so done with Walmart. I will not shop there anymore in San Antonio or in my hometown of Alice TX. Toys R Us and Target will now have our business.

I cannot understand the difference. I picked up an Ice Hockey table that was on the shelf, not on the flatbed with others and got the BF price. Three of us were looking for the Monster High Dolls that were on BF for $10, could not find the Bin but found them on the shelf. We took five and only got the BF price for one. The sales associate said that four of them were not marked for BF price, only the one? I am confused, the sale bill did not state only one. She stated that they only get so many earmarked for BF pricing and the other four were not included, and if I took them off the shelf, they were not on the special pricing list, but I got all five off the shelf. She was very indifferent and said that she wished that they would mark them with a big BF where everyone would know. Well, me too, sister.

I purchased a Walmart Money Card on November 20th before I went out of town for Thanksgiving. I paid the $3.00 for the card and uploaded $85.00 at the register. When I got to my family's house and tried to upload the temporary card, there was no card at all inside the package. I called the Hinesville Walmart where I had purchased it, and a manager told me to bring it in along with my receipt when I returned for the holidays. I also emailed Walmart Money Card and tried to contact them over the phone. When I got in touch with someone they were trying to put that card, not knowing who has it or where it is, in my name. I tried to explain to them I never received a temporary card but they just couldn't understand that. When I returned from my visit, I went up to the Hinesville Walmart like I was told.
I spoke with a sales associate first and she was great on trying to help me. Her manager, Ms. **, had her call the money card number and see what she could do. They told her to give me the refund in store, even though the receipt says you cannot. They gave her a reference/claim number, and stated they would send the amount to the Hinesville Walmart. Ms. Peggy was no longer working and the sales associate, **, needed help on how to proceed with the refund since it was not allowed. A department manager, Sandra, was called on to help, and she just said we cannot refund for those and kept doing what she was previously doing. ** called on ** who is one of the head managers, I guess you could say. She had to be called on three different times to get her to come assist.
When she arrived, she didn't even introduce herself or ask me what the problem was - she immediately had an attitude. She then went to basically calling me a liar, saying that there was no way I didn't receive the temporary card because they open it out of the package and swipe it at the register to activate it. Being a manager, I thought you had to be educated in all departments. When you buy a temporary card, the cashier does not open the package. The receipt has an activation number for the money as well; so you, the customer, can upload the amount onto the card. So with her saying that, I stated that the employee who I checked out with was working and she must have my card if that is the case which it was not. I asked her if she could roll back the tapes then if the cashier is supposed to activate the card then we would see her with it on camera. She then said that: "Loss Prevention is not currently working." Then I said, "Remind you, I went to the store on Friday November 23rd, so not only are you calling me a liar you are saying that loss prevention is not working on Black Friday."
I gathered my belongings and left. This Walmart is very unprofessional and the managers need to work on their customer service. The goal for Walmart is to have satisfied customers, this store #0862 in Hinesville GA, doesn't abide by that. The managers should be professional and respectful at all times. This situation should have never provoked an altercation with different managers or rude managers. The customer should not be accused of theft after waiting an hour just to speak to a manager. Why are managers raising their voice and making a scene in view of other customers which diminishes the faith in Walmart customer service?

Grocery shelves were half-empty. The produce is the worst. I went this morning at 10:00 to get fresh string beans and the shelf was empty like it always is. It's two days before Thanksgiving and I have been in the grocery business for 45 years and I know what a big seller they are as all produce is, so why would you be out the cabbage? It looked like it had been there weeks. Apples empty, the whole department is a total mess. As always, no product. I did ask a guy if they had any beans and he went in the back and when he came out, he said, "We don't have any." He didn't say when they would get some in, just "Sorry, we are out." Nothing.
I know sometimes products run low on things but not every day like it is here and it's not just beans, it's the whole damn place. I tell myself each time I go there, "Well, maybe it will be better this time," but that never happens. So, I have to drive 10 more miles to a Food Lion. Does anybody ever check these departments? No way they can here. Maybe it's time for a manager change or a surprise visit from someone in charge that will see this mess. I don't like to complain. I know things happen in this business, but this is a shame to let this go on and on. I know one customer like me might not make a difference to you because you have plenty. I have no idea what this store does in a week but just think if the shelves were anywhere close to being right, what they could do. Thanks for your time.

I was working for Walmart for over 2 years. I started overnight stocking in grocery. After a few months, management moved me to dairy. I worked there and trained a few employees during my time. I was injured by pulling a pallet into the dairy cooler in Aug. 2009, and when I asked a manager if I could go to the hospital because I was in such pain, the manager simply said "Did you finish your work?" No, I replied because of the intense pain I was in and when I told him of the injury, all I was told was "Well, you can leave, but you may lose your position if you do." Not wanting to risk my job especially after just having a baby, I attempted to return back to finish my duties. But the pain got so bad I was unable to stand. Deciding it was best to be seen by a doctor than worry about my job, I left.
After telling other management, they would not let me fill out paperwork for workman’s comp and after being at the hospital, it was determined I had 2 herniated discs and a pinched nerve. Long story short, after a few weeks of physical therapy and pain meds, my doctor allowed me back to work on light duty. I was excited because I needed to bring home a paycheck for my son and me. I took the paperwork to management and asked when I could go back. I was told I was not allowed back until I was off light duty because Walmart doesn't have any light duty jobs available for me. I was told I needed to take a LOA for my injury until I was 100% better. Well, I kept trying to go back for shifts but they kept turning me away, until they terminated me for failing to return after my FMLA for my back injury.
Even though my doctor allowed me back, Walmart wouldn't. I was eventually terminated. I then hired an attorney to try and receive workman’s comp. I had 3 employee witnesses along with a customer but my attorney 'felt it was not necessary to parade all of them up to the witness stand.' I lost the workman’s comp case. I then attempted to get unemployment benefits for help with bills and things my son needed but Walmart claimed I quit voluntarily, even though I had paperwork showing I was able to work on light duty. I also attempted to get disability benefits however, that didn't work out either. I eventually lost the car I had almost paid off and now I am stuck living at my parents’ house with my son. Yes, I still am in constant pain and have little hope by now on both getting better and finding a job so that I can support myself and son.

At first I wasn't sure so I continued shopping, until I saw him peep around the corner again. I decided to exit the area. A couple approached me to let me know that they too had noticed the young man. The couple actually found his behavior strange and humorous. The couple stated that they watched him move merchandise on the shelves to view me, and watched for me as I walked around corners. I asked them to describe the person; their description of that person was of the young man I saw following me.
I proceeded to walk towards the pharmacy counter looking for store personnel. I stood at the end of the aisle and looked around for someone. I soon saw the young man who previously watched me. I was shocked, and angered when I noticed that he was wearing a Wal-Mart vest. I stopped him and asked to speak with the store manager. I met the store manager at the electronics desk and recognized his voice (**). I had spoken to him in June concerning a similar incident. I was humiliated so I motioned for him to step away from the electronics desk for privacy. We stood a few feet away from the customers. I told him about the uncomfortable incident. ** apologized. I then suggested that he ask his associate why I was being followed. I then went on with my shopping.
I left the store angry but decided to go back an hour later and asked for the same manager. When he appeared, I asked for the store's locator number, district supervisor, and phone number. The manager asked if he could assist, I declined. I believed that if he could have, he would have done so earlier in June. He then went on to say loudly that no matter who I contacted, the call would be forwarded back to the store anyway. I felt deeply disrespected by him, more so than the sales associate who followed me earlier. He then said his associate believed that I acted suspiciously, carried a big purse, and was looking around a little too much.
I was mortified and a bit dumbfounded at his lack of professionalism as well as tact. I then pointed out to him that there were many other female customers shopping in the store with similar sized and bigger bags. His comment was that the Wal-Mart employee was “just doing his job”. I then said I don’t understand why I had been treated in this manner especially with all the cameras and security present in the store. He said, “Well the cameras can’t see you at all angles.” I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years. So now, do I have to reap the charges on your mistake? I would not think so especially when I have a receipt which is your policy. Another thing, I don't appreciate being laughed at. I am a 43-year old woman who does not steal but does get pissed off when children cannot follow the rules a company sets forth.

I have two complaints. The first one is out of 8 lbs of meat, I had trimmed off 3 lbs of fat (picture attached) and still had a lot of grease floating on top of my soup (picture attached). Secondly, two associates were complaining about being given the assignment of straightening up housewares. "This is not my department. I can't help it if they are lazy and don't want to work," said the female. "I only have an hour to go then I am done. I don't care," said the male. I had purchased two Chuck Roast to make some homemade vegetable soup (total 6.61 lbs. at $4.48/lb. $29.62). The meat had appeared very nice with good marbling and color; however, when I opened up the package and turned the meat over, I received quite a surprise. I saw a lot of fat on the meat, a total of 3+ pounds (picture attached, weighed on a bathroom scale in 0.5lb increments) of fat from both the packages.
I had trimmed the fat (picture attached) and cooked my soup. I still had about 1 cup of fat that I had skimmed off the top (picture attached). I had gone ahead and canned my soup as I normally would. Out of 16 quarts, I could not get four to seal due to the grease (picture attached). I had contacted the USDA canning division to see if my 12 sealed jars would be okay and the attendant told me that I should just freeze the soup. I had shared the pictures with her. I have been canning for years and I will say I am very disappointed in my expensive meat choice. The next thing (I would not have even taken the time to write a complaint about this incident but I am including so maybe those associates could have an opportunity to improve teamwork) is teamwork. I understand how difficult it may be for some to reach out and lend a helping hand; however, if negative thoughts are expressed then it is known by more than yourself how dissatisfied you are with your work.
Many people are unemployed and everyone is replaceable. I am a well-seasoned registered nurse at a hospital and at times, I do not like my job but I will never express that so someone could hear. I have more self-respect, respect for my patients, and patient families to express anything but a positive note.

We pre-ordered Black Ops 2 for Josh and put a $5 credit at Walmart to hold the game. We went at 7am to pick it up and pay for it and the cashier (Kimberely **) accidentally charged for an extra $5 instead of crediting us $5. By the way I would like to mention, she's the only one who remained apologetic and empathetic through this whole ordeal and I have no complaint with her at all, it was an honest mistake. So we have to go to customer service to have it canceled and redone. This stupid rep named Debbie was refusing to refund me my entire purchase and re-ring me correctly and she only wanted to give me a $5 credit. I explained to her the card gives you a credit for pre-ordering and to ensure there are no problems to refund and re-ring me. She's trying to overtalk me and credited the $5 against my will without even telling me. At this point I requested the highest manager on duty to file a complaint and told her she knew nothing about customer service and she needed to stop acting like a ** and show customer service because she had no skills.
So I waited over 10 minutes patiently for this unprofessional assistant manager ** after requesting her 3 times to come, whose even more uncooperative than the rep. The customer service reps all ganged up on me and started lying, saying she was doing what I was requesting and that I was out of line for calling her a **. Josh, my fiancé, had to come over to tell the manager she was lying too and she didn't pay him any mind. I said I didn't call her a **. I told her she was acting like one. And repeated again what I wanted done. The rep I had a complaint about said, “Well the cameras don't lie and we can see it right now.” I yelled, “Watch the tapes. I'll stand right here and wait so you can see I didn't become an upset customer until she started refusing my request and bypassing what I said.” I told the manager, “Ask your other reps around her what she did and they can choose to lie or tell the truth at that point.” I again made my request and the entire CSR department is hanging up on me.
I called home office at this point, which they didn't know, and I was irate then because I was not even getting respect from the manager. She threatened to call the cops on me and told me I could deal with them and the judge. I told her I was not out a line and then she yelled, “That's it, call the cops. I'm not going to allow you to harass my employees.” I said, “Harass? They're harassing and ganging up on me.” As a manager she should have shut them all up. So as the rep I had the problem with called the cops, I was explaining this entire story to the home office. Not even lying that I said she was acting like a **. All of a sudden, ** said, “Just take care of her!” Then Rosie, who was the first rep accusing me of calling Debbie a ** was quick to change her attitude and started helping and resolving my problem (probably in fear that I'll complain about her next for lying).
**, the manager, just walked away without saying anything further to me, Debbie disappeared, and Rosie gave me a copy of the canceled transaction, that showed proof Debbie didn't do what I asked and my new receipt with the purchase. But unfortunately the damage was done and the police were called. We walked away to do more shopping and when walking through the store, the police arrived. So I had no idea if they filed a complaint against me, or what now? Who knew they might have an APB out for me, lol. I'm supposed to hear from the store manager within the week.

For two months, I documented the disgusting state of the fish department in my local Walmart: dead fish, no filtration working on more than half the tanks, overcrowded tanks, scum and algae everywhere. Some of the tanks are so filthy you can't even see what is inside. The fish are all quite ill. Last night I waited for 20 minutes in the department after they paged for customer assistance. No one ever showed up. I then went to customer service, watched two employees talk for several minutes, and waited for them to acknowledge me.
Finally one asked what I wanted. I asked to speak to a manager. They would not get one for me. I then asked who was in charge of the fish tanks. I was told an outside contract company handles the tanks when they bring new fish in. I showed them 10 photos of the current conditions (because neither was interested in going clear back to pets). Never did I get to the bottom of it. It's sick that PETA will fight for a bug, but these "pets" are left to suffer and die in filthy conditions. It's sad and Walmart should be ashamed of itself!

They honestly look like a photograph was taken of my photos and then attempted to reprint yet again. What I sent in was high definition, sharp and detailed and what I got back was closer to an oil painting. Unfortunately, the deadline I had to make to get these photos to the framer to be used in a National Championship display is today and there is no time to do anything but use these embarrassing images. I asked to speak to a manager which took over 45 min. to actually get them to have any attendance to the situation. All I asked was that they exchange the ammo which they denied. I asked to read their policy, which they denied me the chance once again. Policies are posted for customers to realize that all sales are final and not refundable. Other stores at least show, display or announce the policy within the stores. I really have a bad experience dealing with the store manager and the sporting goods employees that day. First off, let me start by saying that I have worked in the retail industry for many years. I understand what proper customer service is. I also understand that many times, in reviews/complaints such as this, the customer tends to over-exaggerate. I will try to be as fair as I can regarding both parties and use only facts. Last night, I went to the Wal-Mart in Los Lunas, New Mexico. I needed some basic things but also intended to buy some ammo from the sporting goods dept. (which is locked up for obvious reasons). I have a few boxes I needed - easily over $100 worth of product. I waited, standing in front of the display case for approximately 15 minutes, for an employee.
At that time, another customer who needed assistance with a different product at the end of the aisle had to go look for an employee to help them. They came back a few minutes later with an employee who was unfamiliar with the product that the customer was questioning. The employee stated that that department. was not normally his and the person scheduled there just went on break. So the employee went to find another employee that was more familiar with the department. They came back a few minutes later, and the second employee was slightly more helpful to the customer. Meanwhile, I'm still standing in front of the display case, waiting my turn for some assistance with ammo. I noticed at least one other employee walked past, looked directly at me, but kept walking.
After the other customer was satisfied, both employees walked past me and never even acknowledged me. Shortly after, I left without purchasing any ammo. I would estimate that I stood in front of the case for about 30 minutes in total. I can say that when I worked retail I was taught to acknowledge every customer, every single time you see them, even if you just noticed another employee ask them if they can be of assistance. It’s good customer service, and it's also a theft deterrent. It seems like every time I go to that store, the service gets worse, the employees are less knowledgeable, and everyone simply seems to care less about the customers. I hate to say it, but I think Wal-Mart has gotten too big for their britches and act like they aren't afraid of losing a customer.

She acted like she was angry when I asked her if she had the kind my sister was looking for. When we went to check out, the woman at the register was so grouchy. We had gotten a little shirt that said it was on clearance for $1. It rang up the price before clearance. She sent one of the women to see. When I told her it was on sale for a dollar, the other woman came back and said that side of the table wasn't on sale, but it was the same kind and color. It was just a smaller size and I would think if it was on the sale table, if anything, it should have been cheaper than the larger size. So we checked out and she asked, "Do you want the shirt?" Today was the last time and I had lost my ticket after the second return. So I explained my problem to the CSM, and she told me she could only give me the same game. I said I would rather just get a different game and pay the $30 difference for the other game, and she told me she couldn't. So I said fine, I will just get the same game. Then I went to back to get the same game and they would not exchange it because the case on the new game was a different color than mine. So they went to back to find one like mine that the CSR told me they had 15 of them in the backroom.
I waited for 45 minutes for this game for them to tell me they didn't have any more when the CSR had told me they had 15 in the backroom. So I asked to talk to the store manager and he came. I explained to him my frustration and he could care less how I felt. And since they could not find the game, they still refuse to make this right and just let me trade for a different game because I had no ticket and it was open. He told me that it's not his fault the game doesn't work and for me to go to another Wal-Mart. So I asked him "I thought the customer was always right?" He said, "If you had a ticket, yes." I was like so every customer that does not have a ticket is wrong. He didn't say anything and just walked away.
So here, I bought this game that doesn't work. I just wanted to say thank you, Wal-Mart, for screwing me out of my hard-earned money. $35 down the drain for a game that just went in my garbage since I have no more use for it because it won't work like it was supposed to. From now on, I will just shop at Target or K-mart. Maybe there, their customer comes first and is right and they will do whatever they need to do to make the customer happy.

I bought a prepaid phone from Walmart. It's a Straight Talk from TracFone. They offered me an extended protection plan warranty for 18 months with the phone which I decided to, just in case I would experience problems. I never really thought how bad this would get after that purchase. The phone is a Samsung T528G almost similar to the Flight II from AT&T but without a keyboard and it felt more lightweight. About a month after purchase, the phone began to exhibit strange symptoms of flaws such as rebooting on its own, or turning off overnight to only discover it was off after I woke up. At first I thought it was the battery; it had been low and it turned off to conserve power but no, this phone does not have that feature and later on, I discovered it began to do this more often. It began to turn off and on frequently, sometimes I was in the middle of using it (media playing music or watching videos) to more frustrating circumstances (writing a text or about to send one).
It got me so worked up that I decided to go back to Walmart since they told me there if I had any inquiries regarding the warranty to take it to Customer Service where they would help me. However about 3 months after purchase, the phone was already failing completely. I had no choice because every time that it would turn off and on, I couldn't access the messages and there was more and more lagging. It was really infuriating to wait whenever it wanted to display them. I went to Walmart, talked to Customer Service. They told me to call the number in the receipt and booklet to the company that is insuring my phone; however, the lady trying to look at what plan I enrolled in was a bit confused because apparently the person that sold me the phone in Electronics was supposed to circle and highlight what plan I got. However, in the booklet, the plan was explained to be the type you pay a monthly fee rather than just one sum at the purchase which in the receipt says "18-month plan" which cost $20. Then she just told me again that since it has been more than 30 days, I couldn't return the phone to them; I must file a claim.
So I went home and decided to call the company in the book that has my phone insured. I entered my information, my claim info and then when they asked the make and model of my phone. I gave it to them and then a long pause of waiting and then they told me that they could not find my phone. So I asked the representative (who I keep forgetting to take down their names or just because it's so hard to keep up over voice) why they could not find the phone and she could not give me a good reason other than apologizing and to just call at another time to see if they could find my phone. No luck so then I decided to go online and see if I could just do it through there. I entered my info, my claim info and then the interesting part comes where I see why they failed me, why Walmart failed me. As I went to find my phone, I chose to go by manufacturer and model then it asked to choose my phone's "Carrier" and when I proceeded, I couldn't find my carrier.
I only saw the 4 major carriers (Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T). I didn't see Net10, Straight Talk or TracFone at all! So then I got even madder because I began to understand that I was screwed at Walmart by buying a fraudulent warranty that covers nothing - $20 down the toilet! So then I tried live chat support with the company "Asurion" and the results were the same. My final step was to resolve this conflict by calling Walmart one more time to ask if I could get a refund on the warranty I bought from them since they were no help in covering my phone and it was useless. I just wanted my $20 back and after calling Customer Service, they put me on hold. Someone else answered and I had to retell my story all over and then they told me that yes if I bring the receipt and again another mistake of mine was that I forgot to ask their names but I didn't because I wasn't expecting the following mess to occur. It's a stupid retail store not a 1800 hotline. When I got there the next day, they acted as if I never called or even recall any of this that occurred over the phone because I couldn't say who I talked to since I never asked but I told them the exact time but they were no help.
They turned me down - they told me that since 90 days had passed, that was their excuse so now I'm stuck with a useless warranty, $20 gone down the drain and a useless phone! However on a side note, I contacted Straight Talk directly to let them know of my situation and the phone and good news at last from them was that they decided to send me a new phone of the same model for free since it is still under its manufacturer warranty and I didn't had to pay any deductible, just send my old phone back. However, I'm still mad at what Walmart did to me selling me a bad warranty. I want justice here!

I then informed her that he was only 2 and he was just running from his father to me, his mother. She insisted that I leave the store. She continued to follow me around until I sought out the store manager. He apologized to me profusely.
I was wrongfully treated and harassed, and I don't appreciate the unfair treatment from a Walmart employee. I have been shopping there for many years, but this experience has turned me off from shopping at Walmart. That employee, Rebeccah, has treated me unjustly. She harassed me and singled me out.

On 10/20/12, I ordered a Little Tykes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Special which included a pull along trailer. The item bundle was listed online for $49.97 and expected to be available for pick up on 10/26/12. An additional item was ordered to be picked up the same day. I did not receive any e-mails for Wal-Mart regarding the status of my order. A few days later, I went to the local Wal-Mart to pick up my same day shipping item and was told they had nothing for me. I went online and saw that my entire order had been cancelled by Wal-Mart. They no longer have the Coxy Coupe bundles listed online for $49.97. I assumed the reason for cancelling my order was due to a pricing error. I have not received any explanation from Wal-Mart about this. When an item is mispriced in the store, they are required to honor the listed price if you point this out to them. Should this not be the same for online shopping? This is the second time I have ordered an item from Walmart.com and the second time they have not honored their own posting. Even if I have to pay more, I will never again order anything from them.

Total Paid including two year Care Plan is $463.79 The model number is C855-S5214. The laptop worked for a month, when it went off. It would not turn back on, even with the power cord plugged in. When I purchased the laptop, the salesperson told me that if I purchased the Care card, if anything went wrong with the laptop within the two-year period, I could return it to the store and they would either have it repaired or refund my money.
I took it back and got the runaround from Customer Care about how they would not honor the Care card and have the laptop repaired or refund my money back, because the product had to be returned within 15 days. The laptop quit and would not turn on after a month. So either the salesperson lied to me or Customer Care lied to me. I will never purchase another product from Walmart again. I am out $463.70 for nothing but a piece of junk. The store has the laptop, receipt, and Care card and I am out $463.79. If they were decent, they would honor the Care card and refund my money.

Today at 3:30pm, I called our local (Cranberry, PA) Wal-Mart and talked to someone at the service desk. I was told that I could refund or cash a MoneyGram with the checks alone not the receipt, being that I was the purchaser. (I called because I could have stopped at my home to get the receipts.) I also called MoneyGram to ensure that this was policy. After loading my screaming and crying 5-month-old into the car in the rain and driving 20 minutes, I arrived at the service desk. Upon arrival, I had a very rude customer service attendant tell me repeatedly that this was not policy. After explaining to her many times that I was the purchaser, my name on the checks, and that I called, etc, she still disagreed. I asked for a manager.
By this point, the two other workers at the desk have been repeating, "That's just not the policy." I stated that consumer laws state that you have a certain amount of days to return an item in the first place and that you could not possibly have a policy against returning an unused item. The extremely rude worker said, "Well, I don't know or care what she is talking about but I know that is not our policy," and continued to tell the customers following us that we were wrong and just being a pain when it was against policy. I said nothing to her. The cashier helping us got a manager as I had asked who instructed her to call MoneyGram as I had done earlier.
My husband and I listened to the call. She at no point asked if a purchaser could return, exchange or cash a check. She instead (to MoneyGram on the phone) said, "It is not our policy to cash checks if they are not made out to Wal-Mart or the person cashing them so I can't cash this." She told us she could not do it. When we told her that we were listening and she never asked, she ignored us and said, "That is the policy." I called them (again) myself and was again told by MoneyGram that this is possible. An actual manager was called (because he happened to be walking past). He simply got out the policy (on paper) which stated that we could return it within 30 days (as per state consumer law) but that we needed the receipt. After over 20 minutes of trying to resolve a simple issue, we had been disrespected, irritated, and wasted time and gasoline.
We also missed the time that the post office was open to send the forms with the money orders where they needed to go. They are time sensitive immigration forms requiring the nearly $2,000 in those money orders. I was as calm and polite as I could possibly be at the store mostly because I had my 5-month-old son with me but I am furious at the service that we received as well as having to make another trip, driving another 40 minutes and dealing with such ignorant and rude individuals. Something needs to be done about the idiocy of the persons employed at this Wal-Mart. This occurred at the Wal-Mart Service Desk, Cranberry PA at 3:50pm on Thurs., Oct 18th. This includes feeding, water changes, etc. Every human being in this world knows all living creatures: humans, a beta fish, a guppy, a molly, an Oscar, a pleco, dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. Even the most uninformed staff should have enough common sense to feed a fish. And we wonder why this keeps going on? Who do you think is one of the biggest supporters of animal shelters in your towns? Wal-Mart! They are donating food to shelters, and that's great. Just to start off, you American's aren't the only ones who have it bad working at Walmart. It's just as unfair and unprofessional up north. I have been with the Walmart company for 4 years and 2 months now. I started with the company when I was 20. I've had many little jobs here and there but nothing that was more than just a summer job as I was still in high school. The store I work for was once rated the top store in Walmart Canada for sales, pulling in on average about $300,000 on a normal day (not during the "golden quarter"). It is now currently #3 in Canada. With that being said, there is a lot of freight that comes into the store every night.
When I first got the job, I was brought in for orientation, did my CBLs and within a week I was working full-time as an Overnight Stocker. I have always been a dedicated worker with a very strong work ethic and this continued forward into my Walmart job. All was fine for the first few months. I enjoyed what I was doing and really didn't mind the job at all. Then, as I got more familiar with the departments and where everything went on the shelves, I started getting a bigger work load every night.
At first I would start off just stocking the Housewares department, then as time progressed they would add Hardware, then Automotive and Sporting Goods and eventually Seasonal to my nightly stocking routine. The 24/7 sheet which shows the amount of freight that came into the store for each department, how many hours it would take to stock and how many people needed to stock would show that Housewares alone needed on average about 5 hours to stock for 1 person. Hardware was 2 hours to stock on average, Sporting Goods and Automotive were 1 hour to stock on average, and Seasonal about 30 minutes to stock on average a night. I would start work at 11 pm and end at 7 am, having two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch during work. So, I had 7 hours of solid work not including breaks to do, on average about 10-1/2 hours of work. Being a strong worker, I managed to get the vast majority of it done each night, sometimes completing all of it before my shift was over.
Instead of being praised for a job well done, they kept adding more and more to my work load. After completing all of that work, I would have to go and help out in the dry grocery department to make sure they finished up their work. What bothered me is the days where I wasn't feeling well and couldn't finish the impossible work load. I was constantly nagged and threatened that I had to finish my work before I could leave. Still being 20, this being my first real "full time job" I wasn't aware of my rights as an associate and stayed until my work was done. Never once did I get the recognition from my Overnight Assistant Managers that I deserved for doing essentially the job of 2, sometimes 3 people a night.
Finally about 2 years into the job, the Store Manager decided to come in for a Overnight shift to see where we were succeeding, and where we were weak. He gave each and every one of us associates a challenge, which was to stock 300 boxes worth of merchandise in the night. He wanted us to keep track of where we were at and tell him every break. I was always one for competition to prove that I am good at what I do so I gladly accepted that challenge. At our first break 2 hours into the shift, I had already hit half of his goal for the night whereas most people had maybe 60 boxes stocked. At the halfway mark of the shift, I told him I had hit over 400 boxes stocked already where most people just hit the halfway mark. He was astounded and quite frankly didn't believe that I had already beaten the goal he set. So after lunch, he followed me around and watched me work and offered to work along side me boasting he was once a strong stocker himself. Not even an hour after lunch hit, he was already exhausted, pouring sweat and couldn't keep up to me.
He was amazed at what I could do in a night and later that week called me into the office and gave me a merit raise. Later that month a position for an Overnight Support Manager came up and he personally came up to me and told me that I should apply for it because he believes I would be great at the job. So I applied, along with about 10 other associates, all at least 10 years older than me and after 3 interviews with the Assistant Managers, Store Manager/Co-Store Manager and finally District Manager, they all agreed that I was best suited for the job. I was given the promotion to help out the Assistant Managers each night, filling out paper work, holding associates accountable for their actions in not hitting targets or being tardy for work, placing associates in designated working areas and assisting associates with their work when required. For this job, I was given only a 40-cent raise to essentially do the Assistant Manager's job. Let me tell you now, after being a part of management in my store, managers are extremely two-faced.
To your face, they act like they're there to help you with your problems, but as soon as they are behind closed doors, they degrade and make fun of their associates and mock the valid problems they brought forward to Management. The management at my store is there solely for the purpose of making money and advancing in the company and not giving a rat's ass about their associates. I was the only member of Management on overnights who even attempted to help alleviate some of the problems the associates faced on a nightly basis as I, too, was recently one of them who had the same problems. They seem to forget that they, too, were once in those shoes facing similar problems.
A specific Overnight Manager was playing favorites with a certain associate. This associate failed to do what was required of them each night (which was only 2 hours of required work for the night on average) and when I approached the associate and tried to discipline him and coach him to be more work oriented, this Overnight Manager butted in to the conversation and just set him back to work like nothing was wrong. I know for a fact that this Manager and associate were friends outside of work which goes totally against Walmart Canada's policies. A member of Management is not supposed to have any outside communication with associates, especially not supposed to go and drink with them each night. I brought this problem to the Store Manager and Co-Store Managers and it fell on deaf ears. You are not supposed to place favorites. Everyone is supposed to be equal.
Eventually this Manager quit the company and the other Overnight Manager was on stress leave, leaving only me to run the crew. Each night, I had to organize about 40 people and let them all know where they would be working. I was given keys to the store and codes to the security systems, essentially I was the Assistant Manager. When I asked for a raise because I was the Assistant Manager, the Store Manager shrugged it off. They were about to send me to SOL (School of Learning) for Managers but yet, would not give me the Assistant Manager wage (which was easily an $8/hour raise). I argued for a few weeks about this, bringing it up to even my District Manager (who is friends with my Store Manager by the way) and still, nothing. I was 22 years old, running one of the busiest Walmart's in Canada making only $13/hour (minimum wage being $10.25 + $1 premium for Overnights), whereas an Assistant Manager (although salary and not paid hourly), after calculating it made easily $20-22/hour. I got fed up of being used and abused after 2 years of working my ** off for the company, so I quit and found work elsewhere.
The story doesn't end there though, folks. It turns out the job I went to, I was offered $18/hour doing Masonry work (mostly stucco). My boss took all my personal information but didn't do anything legitimately. In other words, I thought I was working legally but he paid me under the table. I didn't get paid until a month into working for him because he kept making excuses saying he had to wait for the paperwork to go through. Long story short, when I found out, I reported him to the Labor Board, and he fled the city, leaving me yet again, out of work. I called around to find a job but most gave me a long wait time to be hired, so I sucked it up and called up Walmart again.
They offered me my Overnight Support Manager position again, but I declined as I wanted to work days, didn't care if I was demoted or not; I just needed money to live. So, I ended up becoming the 2nd Shift Truck Unloader Supervisor. Our store takes in 2-3 General Merchandise trucks a day, each truck totally at least 2500 boxes and a Courtney Park truck (dry grocery) which is always a full trailer worth, which is 30 skids, sometimes they are doubled so it could be upwards to 50. My crew is so short-staffed it's ridiculous. We are supposed to have 9 truck unloaders a day to unload all this freight. We are lucky if we get 6. We are given a strict deadline for each truck to be unloaded by. If we fall short of that time line, we are verbally harassed. We are essentially set up to fail, day after day.
Not only do we have to unload these trucks, we also have to pull both backrooms full of freight, and get out all the picks that are generated daily. Both backrooms are completely full the minute we walk into work. We have zero room to place full skids of merchandise. We are forced to bring them directly to the sales floor and eventually have to block off aisles from customers due to the sheer amount of freight in the building. So normally when the store is at its busiest, there's already a ton of freight out on the floor stopping customers from shopping in certain aisles which leads to them complaining (which I don't blame them) which leads to management complaining to me stating it's our fault the store is in disarray. We rarely ever have time to complete our required work for the day due to being short staffed, and having zero room to work. We have management coming up to us daily asking why we didn't finish, threatening us stating, "you can't leave until everything is done or there will be severe consequences."
Just today my crew and I were pulled into Management's office and verbally coached because of our "poor performance" during the holiday that just passed for us, Canadians. We are constantly being put down, lowering our morale and work ethic. We bring up valid points to management about freight not being processed on overnights resulting in the overflow of freight in the backroom, and how we are so short-staffed we never have the required people to complete the job and it all falls on deaf ears.
To sum all of this up, Management is not there to help you. Most of them are there solely for personal gain. The management at my store couldn't care less about their associates' needs. Nothing is changing. In fact, we have one of the highest turnover rates for new associates in all of Walmart Canada. We are constantly being set up for failure and never given recognition if we go above and beyond what is expected of us. I am only with this company because finding work in this city with a decent wage is very hard to come by. The moment I can find something worthwhile, you bet your ** I'll be saying goodbye to Walmart for good.

“Hi, my name is Josh. How may I help you today?” is how my day goes. But lately, I have noticed that some of my associates have not been feeling the same way. And I think it’s due to the lack of employment for night zoners at the Kilgore, TX Wal-Mart. By being understaffed at night when the store needs to be zoned before stocking, it causes the associates to have to zone multiple departments each for no higher pay or benefits, before they go home. This usually ends with an associate clocking out and leaving work, unfinished or for other workers. And it causes extreme hostility among the associates and managers.
I personally enjoyed my job until I was switched over to night zoning. Then, it all fell apart due to my college class times, and me not seeing how the store could only have one associate on the general merchandise side, and having no one but cashiers and managers to check out and help customers. Also, when there is other zoning to be done in other departments, but it’s your time to get off, it suddenly becomes your problem since you are already finished. And no matter how you try to work it out to where you still leave on time, it doesn’t fit; and the next day, an incorrect account of the talk with the managers is written up to make it look like you did the wrong thing.
Another thing is, having a 30-minute long meeting about not finishing 5 minutes before we get off is just not right (then getting mad and treating us when we leave). Sometimes I feel like we are there to wait on the bad associates or the bad managers, not the customers. By not helping them so we can go deal with the problems the managers have with us (doing or not doing what they ''ask''), it causes the customers to dislike the Wal-Mart brand, therefore making less people shop there and losing more stockholders’ money in the company as a whole. Therefore, if any changes are not made at this store and others, Wal-Mart will continue to lose customers and associates due to the attitude the associates have after a meeting.
Also, having your register code disabled and not telling the associate why it was done is unlawful and is the highest insult you can give anyone. And because of that, you feel extra demoted to only be called for help the untrained in associates in the department. And my last thing is managers should not let some associate engage in conversations and hound the others to finish their work quickly so they can go help the taking group with theirs. I think in order to save time, Wal-Mart should have at least 1 or 2 people at night in every department so the attitude at that time can loosen up and the associate can finish their job peacefully.

I visited Wal-mart on Gillford Drive, Frederick, MD 21701 today around 5:00pm. I have frequented both Wal-marts in Frederick almost on a daily basis and never had such a bad experience with a cashier. To add, I almost always have a pleasant experience. Let me first say I waited in line to pay for almost an hour. I was with my fiance and 2-year-old son. When we finally got to the point of checkout, she started questioning my fiance about her WIC purchase's choice of brands for cheese. It is not stated to only buy store brands and a CSM confirmed we were in the right. After the WIC issue, she mis-priced a small pumpkin that we had picked out for our son. It clearly stated on the barrel it was originally in that it was 79 cents. She rung it up as $1.79.
I then began to tell her it seemed as if she was playing games with us. So, I stated that to her. She then rudely and unexpectedly said some remarks back to me and my fiance. At this point, she was holding up the line for an additional 7 minutes. The entire line was staring at the situation. I then asked her for her name and said I was going to file a complaint. She stated her name as **. She works in line 5 today. Not sure what can be done, but I had to take my time and let you all know about this. I can be contacted about this at anytime. I would like to know if any actions are done about this. Thanks.

So, I got in my car and drove to the store and they said "no", we don’t have that item in stock and have not had it for over a week. So, I drove to the next store and they also said, "No, we don’t have that TV and have not had it for about 5 days." So now I am "very upset"! I called customer service for Walmart.com and they say they don’t have control over what is in stock and what is not in stock. So I say, why do you even have this option to let customers know if a product is in stock when you don’t even know what stores have it in or not. I will "never" shop at Walmart again!

I even got a bitter taste in my mouth from sniffing it. Now this is certainly huge enough, but the 'customer service' got nasty with me. She said, "Ok, just bring it back and we'll give you a refund." I said, "Are you hearing me? There is insecticide on the pizza box and all you can say is I'll give you a refund?!" For crying out loud, this is dangerous! I asked for the store manager who never did come to the phone. I'm having this box analyzed. The attitudes of the employees at Walmart are horrible. I think you all need some good healthy competition.

I feel that she did not have sufficient training. Her superior wasn't any more educated than her. She proceeded to tell the cashier it was the card company who was at fault. I called to confirm the card was ready for use. I was informed there were not any problems on their behalf. I was unable to buy food for my children that day and all I received was an apology for the inconvenience. "I'm sorry" does not feed my children. When learning to drive, I was told "Before you hit anything, stop!" Because of their lack of knowledge, I'm worse off now than when I went in.

I went into the Walmart in Homewood, AL and purchased a shrink-wrapped, sealed in the box iPad. When I opened the box at my home, I was floored to find it full of paper. I experienced skeptical Walmart management that said they track all returns. They informed me that I was the only one who had purchased the iPad, meaning it had never been returned. We then took the shrink wrap that it was in and compared it to other iPads for sale in the store. We all agreed it was the same type wrapping. They even opened up another iPad to see if it was full of paper - it was not. Walmart would not give me another iPad or reimburse me. I then called the police, who took down the report and now I'm waiting to see what will happen.
Next I called Apple and informed them of the incident. They looked up the serial number on my paper-filled box and told me someone had already registered the iPad. Apple would not give out private info, which is fine; the detective can get it. This should be proof that I never did have the iPad. It's a shame that we now have to open up sealed items at Walmart to confirm what's in the box. I also thought that after I called the police and filed a report, that maybe Walmart management would see that I was not a scammer and replace the iPad.

It looked great on the box but unfortunately when I got home, I went to open the box to prepare for dinner for my family. Mind you, we had spent $400 (cash) on groceries but I seemed to choose these for the first dinner to prepare. Inside the sealed bag was four good-sized patties but each end patty was frostbitten. They broke apart nice even though they had no paper between. So, I cooked them anyway thinking maybe it was normal for these. I had never purchased it before. Two patties were lighter colored and two were a little darker. I had taken a few pictures before I cooked them. They looked okay to eat just a little freezer burned. I thought maybe they were lighter because possibly they had a higher content of fat or something. They cooked up nice and stayed fairly big-sized after prepared, but the burgers tasted rubbery. I believe the frost bite on them had drew the moisture out. I will not purchase these again as they were not tasting like black Angus meat in the least to say.

Let me start by saying the store employees confirmed, after I showed them the spoiled meat, that it happens often in the meat market. One worker from the seafood deli said he himself had pulled off meats from the shelf that were also expired over a month. I was going to buy a pork loin in there meat market section about 6:30pm on Sept. 29th, 2012. When I lifted it up to look at, it I smelled something awful! It was the meat and not only that one; it had leaked and contaminated all the other meats on that section of the shelf. As I hope whoever reads this letter will know that this is serious to have spoiled meats and for them to be sold to the public like that.
I told the guy in the seafood deli to please call a manager as the meat market people are gone for the day. I waited 20 minutes and no one came. That’s when the same guy from the seafood department came over and said, "Let me try to help you. What’s wrong?" I told him to smell this meat. The first thing he did was look at the date and said this happens a lot in the meat department and I’m not going to lie. He said he himself has pulled meats he saw out of date over one month and has spotted some in customers carts and told them "No, you can’t buy that; it’s out of date."
When I put it back and went to the cashier to call the manager as he never came, a young man came up as the front store manager and I told him what was wrong. He said, "Oh I’m sorry." I walked off to the front of the store and said, "No, you have to go pull that stuff off now, not later because that’s serious having those spoiled meats on the shelf." He then said okay and left again. Let me tell you I’ve seen out of date meats before at this same Walmart and why is the store manager letting this stuff happen over and over?
If this continues, I will say this: Next time I’m shopping there, I will go take a cart, find all the out of date meats myself put them all in the cart, call the news team from my local city or Behind The Kitchen Doors Team from the local news channel and let them come see how Walmart is letting is putting the public at risk. There is no excuse to their turning a blind eye to this matter.

I understand that people make mistakes, they have bad days, and sometimes you just have a bad experience with a new employee. But my experience today showed a systemic problem. I never buy baby formula from Walmart because it's too expensive and they lock it up. But I know Walmart has been running ads that they price match and honor the coupons from other stores. So, I brought my coupons to Walmart, went to the baby formula aisle, pressed the button for customer service and no one showed up.
I waited patiently for 25 minutes before roaming around to find an employee. Once I found someone, she told me to never push the button because no one responds to it. She took the formula to the register (because you're not allowed to walk around with items that are locked up). I went to the register to buy the formula and the cashier had no idea how to price match. After consulting with a supervisor, they figured it out, but then I presented my manufacturer's coupon and they didn't know how to process it.
Another supervisor came over (eventually) and they made me purchase the four containers of formula in four separate transactions. No one had a good attitude. I was frustrated because I had waited for so long and it seemed like no one knew what to do. I complained that it took forever to find someone to unlock the cabinet and they dismissed my complaints. I was there for well over an hour, but the trip should have only taken 15 or 20 minutes. I dealt with 4 employees (two of which were supervisors or managers) and none of them apologized.
Then, I tried to complain on Walmart's customer service form online, and after filling in all the information, the form would not submit. I kept clicking "Finish" and it never did anything. It's not my computer and it's not my internet. So in my frustration, here I am. It wasn't just someone's bad day or an honest person's single mistake. It was a fundamental lack of care for me, as a customer, from multiple people who work for and represent Walmart.

Discrimination/Rudeness/Dismissive Behavior: My fiance and I were the third in line at the check-out, with an employee named Tara, at the Clearfield, PA Wal-Mart. The two people in front of us had about a half cart full of items they were purchasing, as did we. Tara was extremely slow, as if she just couldn't be bothered to do her job efficiently. My fiance was in a wheelchair, as he has a broken back and other problems which are a result of a terrible car accident many years ago. He is able to walk, but not for long distances, which is why he uses a wheelchair in the store; he also uses a wheelchair for protection - he has been hit in the back by careless people pushing their carts before, and he can't take another hit to his back; otherwise, he could end up paralyzed.
Anyway, we were waiting in the line for ten minutes when Tara finally finished the first man in the line. As Tara began to ring up the lady in front of us, she handed the "register closed" sign, turned off her light, and told the lady in front of us to put the sign at the end of her items, telling the lady in front of us that she was the last person she was going to ring up. We were the only other people in the line, and she didn't bother to tell anyone before that she was going to go on break, nor did she have enough courtesy to tell my fiance and I that she couldn't ring us up. Even if she had done that, it still would have been inexcusable, and I wouldn't have tolerated that, either.
My fiance was in front of me in his wheelchair, and I should tell you now that he has long hair that he wears in a ponytail and he wears a bandanna around his head. He's not a hippie, he's not a druggie or a dealer, he's not anything other than a good, decent human being that is kind and expects kindness in return. Too bad he didn't get that at Walmart. Tara was rude. She was dismissive of us, but the look of derision she gave my fiance was inexcusable. She never bothered to speak to him. Rather, she spoke to the lady in front of us who had nothing to do with us - she was doing her shopping as we were doing ours.
My fiance and I both feel that her behavior was disgusting, rude, discriminatory, and we're both sick and tired of nonsense like this. We are both educated people. I'm a nurse, my fiance was a teacher before his accident. It shouldn't matter that we're educated, though. It shouldn't matter what we look like. It shouldn't matter that my fiance is in a wheelchair, or has long hair. We shouldn't have to be anything other than what we are - customers who deserve the respect any paying customer should get. The consequences are this: I am beside myself with anger and my fiance feels as if he's a nonentity because this is not the first time a lazy, ignorant, judgmental jerk has treated him badly in Walmart. How are you going to fix that?

I ordered a mattress online for my daughter's NYC studio apartment. She was told she had to be there for the delivery (which ended up not being accurate). She took the day off work and 1/2 hour before the time frame she was given, I called to find out the status of the delivery. I was told it had been delivered in the morning. What? The shipping company left the package outside the door of the building and never alerted her that it had been delivered. No phone call, no doorbell, nothing. Not only did she lose a day of work for no reason, the wrong item was delivered. Had they told her they were at the apartment, she could have told them then and there that it was the wrong item and it could have been taken back then.
I lost count of how many customer service people I spoke with, one referred to my daughter as "or whoever she is" and suggested she takes the wrong item (70lbs and 7ft long) to a UPS store to return it. On the subway? A NYC bus or cab? Really? I was also told that if my daughter didn't return the wrong item, she would be billed for the purchase. I was (almost) speechless. How a customer becomes responsible for Walmart delivering the wrong item was just so over the top. I finally spoke to someone in the corporate office who issued a return tag request and was told the shipping company would call her the day before the wrong item was going to be picked up. That would be today and she has heard nothing from the company.
I called Walmart again to find out what was going on and was told that 2 people had issued call tags - one was canceled (why, I don't know) and they don't know if the other call tag was valid. As I write this, I'm on hold with yet another supervisor who is calling the delivery/pickup company to find out if they actually have a valid call tag number. The final irony is that the customer has to leave the item outside the house/building. The company won't go in to get the item, which means of course that my daughter has to drag this large, heavy box outside to the front of a NYC apartment building for the return pickup. One can only hope it will be there when the delivery company finally shows up.
I made it very clear that if it's left outside and isn't there when the pickup company comes, there is no way we'll be held responsible for that. I (perhaps naively) remain hopeful that the customer service person I'm on hold with now will, in fact, settle this problem once and for all. All I can say is if I ever patronize Walmart again, and and that's a huge if, on principle alone, it will be only an in-store purchase. I'd have to be a special kind of stupid to attempt anything online with them again, especially a big ticket item. A truly awful and inexcusably unprofessional experience, from beginning to end.

This mis-price has happened several times before on several different items. It appears the situation is getting worse. I admit that I have seen it in other types of stores (having items' price on shelf different at the checkout), not just Walmart.

The wipes do not break down quickly enough to get through the drain system and they created a clog that backed up into my basement bathroom bathtub. Thanks so much for being forthcoming in what your product truly is. I will be sure to never purchase any Equate product again in fear it is not actually what it is labeled.

I have contacted Walmart Corporate, Walmart Rochester, NH and MoneyGram, and I cannot get answers as to where my money went to. I do not have the extra money to resend payment naturally. Nobody has worked with me in this matter. I do realize it takes a lot of extra work to find this mistake but this is my hard-earned money I worked for. I have used MoneyGram for several years through that store. I know there are register receipts, monitors, carbon copies of transactions. Why has this been such a problem getting help? And I was sent empty-handed because they will not do a price match. So your so-called price match guarantee works with the competition but not with your online store. I am very disappointed. From this point forward, I will conduct my business some place else. I wonder what other misleading promotions you have.

I filled out the paperwork and on 9/12, she finally received a call from the store stating that this is their first chance to call to see how she is doing. I am sure that the call was the result of two emails and a phone call to the corporate office. The phone call was not from the store manager, but ** called. He asked how she was doing and if I had taken her to the doctor. We said yes. She fell on her knee and arm and there was bruising and soreness. No apology was issued in the call stating that, "We were sorry she fell due to our negligence of water on the floor in front of the deli case." No offer to cover the doctor appointment was even mentioned.
Do they take a class on being sensitive to customer situations? Apparently not. I have always been nice over the phone or in previous emails. I just believe Wal-Mart still owes her an apology and she deserves better than a phone call from a non-manager. By the way, my wife has had two knee replacements and you should be more concerned about your response time.

Mr. Joe, who was polite and helpful, went out of his way to assist me and answer my questions. I asked to speak to the manager, at which time he contacted one. A female, who did not identify herself, gruffly asked what the problem was. I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. She did not look in my direction and she continued to address the associate as though I was not visible. I asked about the price difference and was given this excuse, "We are a store within a store." What? I asked, "What does that mean?" No other explanation was given. You are not independently owned. She replied that she would not call the Waldorf, MD store to verify what I said because Wal-Mart does not compare prices. She then walked away leaving me standing near the display. How rude! The man with two items and I, with one item, had to wait over 25 minutes. If there had been a self-serve cash register open, this would have alleviated the problem. If that's true, your advertisement is false. We would appreciate if you would acknowledge this note to you. It makes one not want to shop at Walmart when they false advertise. I became disabled just over four years ago. Over time, my condition had worsened to the point where I begin using a cane because of certain episodes, stability, and balance. Using this device is more difficult than anyone may imagine not only physically but mentally. When I began using the cane, I made every effort to leave it home because it showed my loss of ability. But over time, the necessity outweighed embarrassment and guilt of using the crutch (cane). We very recently got a super center Wal-Mart in our town. I had not yet visited the store but my wife and son had. I don't usually go because of the walking distances involved, although my son and I visited it last night to get some insoles for his shoes.
When the checker completed her transaction with the customer in front of us, she turned to help us and the first words to me were, "So what do we call you, gimpy?" I could not even reply. All I wanted to do is leave. Although we finished our transaction and as we left out the door, my son actually turned to me and said, "She was not being very nice. It's like she was mocking you on purpose." I understand that shopping at Wal-Mart as advertised may save you lots of dollars. But now I also believe the local store's motto is shop local for a politer hometown greeting. I know now though. I don't plan on going shopping or even out much more as I would rather not be that person called out in public.

Wal-Mart made unlawful charges on my credit card. Your company, Wal-Mart, mistakenly processed ** (Incident: **) and ** (Incident: **). There was no identity theft. If you look, Wal-Mart canceled the order before I saw it. The hold on my credit card caused it to be in overdraft. My financial institution requested a fax sent to 512-532-8323 from Wal-Mart stating reference number ** in order to release this hold. I talked to a Wal-Mart Customer Service rep named Mariah with ID number ** at 10am on 9-7-2012 and gave her the same information.
I know my financial institution’s policy is on hold. I want Wal-Mart to know these holds have caused an overdraft. I had just purchased an airline ticket to go to see my father in Florida who has been admitted to intensive care. I never placed this order and now I have overdraft fees. I am under a lot of stress because of this. Who is going to pay for the overdraft and any additional ones that occur because your company made a mistake and processed an order that never was placed? Does your company even care about the consumer who uses your services? What are you going to do to make this right? Should I contact a lawyer? “We understand your concerns and we apologize for the inconvenience” is just not enough in this situation.
This was on the Wal-Mart customer service survey I filled out: “Is there one thing Walmart.com could have done to completely satisfy you? Please be as specific as possible.” My reply: Wal-Mart mistakenly placed two orders on my credit card and then canceled them. I asked a fax be sent to my financial institution to release hold, but they refused and said I just have to wait the 3 to 5 days. This hold put on my credit card caused an overdraft charge on Friday morning. This is Monday and I still don't have grocery or gas money because of Wal-Mart making a mistake. I really think it is very unfair for your company to try and take my money and then won't give it back. Isn't that called theft? Why do you think it is ok, because I will get it back eventually? I think you owe me the original amount taken, overdraft charge, and a gift card for groceries and gas, along with a written apology.

We were nowhere near him and didn't think about it. He said he was going to the bathroom. Well, it was like 30 min. went by and my boyfriend decided to go look for him. Well, he was walking to the car when my boyfriend found him. A lady came out of Walmart telling my boyfriend's 17-year old brother to stop. So he did. She said to undo his pants and let her see what was in them.
At this time, she suspected that he had stolen from there the other day so that was her excuse to tell him to unbutton his pants. He was a minor at that. Well, he did have something on him but we didn't know anything about it. My boyfriend came to me and told me what was going on. So, I went back to see what was going to happen to him. I thought he needed to be punished for doing something like that. He told us that he had seen someone else do it and thought he would try and for the record he didn't take anything the day before.
What happened was she banned me and my family from Walmart because of what he had done. I asked her why I was banned and she said, "because I don't want you all here." I have never been in trouble and I don't understand why we were banned when we did not do anything wrong. I feel like she should have to apologize to me and my family because I work for everything I have. I am no thief and wouldn't steal anything from anybody and I feel like I can sue Walmart because of her. She should get fired for banning my family from there when we didn't have anything to do with it and didn't know anything about it.
I shop at Walmart everyday and spend most of my money there and I don't feel like it was right for her to ban us. I am so sorry to see that Wal-Mart is losing money and must do away with match pricing, even though they continue to advertise it. I have always brought in ads from other stores and they have matched the price, even if it was a store brand. A while back, a local store advertised their store brand hot dogs at 69 cents for a 12 oz package. This means grandchildren were coming and we were grilling out. What a deal! I got six KBar brand. I was told it was not on sale because it was no Wal-Mart brand. (Funny, about five weeks before, I got them as a store brand and they did honor the ad.) No time to run, so I took them for 98 cents. Yesterday, I took an ad for Ruler Foods (Kroger), picked up Great Value diced tomatoes 28oz can and Wal-Mart brand ground beef 5lb flavor seal. Ruler advertised the tomatoes 99 cents a can and the ground beef at $9.99. At check out, the clerk said they only match the brand that is advertised. What?
Since when does Wal-Mart carry Kroger brands? Some lady behind me also questioned this. According to the clerk, they were told to do this per store manager. Of course, when I asked to see the store manager, he was not there. Head cashier said, "It has always been that way and evidently, I had gotten a few new cashiers that misunderstood the ad." What? How many years have I been that lucky? Well, to make a long story short, I left the articles. I've never done that before but Wal-Mart has really ticked me off and I haven't even mentioned all the times I've been overcharged by them and had to go back or just eat it. I live in a small town. Candy kept filled at the checkout lane, forget it. Restocking shelves, sometimes. Rotate stock, only if it is sold out before the new inventory.
It is a shame because your problems are so easy to fix. Instead of employees standing at the end of sections talking to each other, they might try working. When a checkout line is long and another cashier is standing talking to a friend, they might try opening the register. As for running out of simple products, it is your loss.
