They have great products, big selection and they ship very fast. I think they are great and their customer support is amazing. When I didn't received my package on time they refund me and sent me a new package.

The Vitamin Shoppe is a great way to find and get the different vitamins you seek and even new ones you never heard of. I only wish the rewards system was much better and that they offered more often deals for free shipping. Maybe if they could add a feature of chat or Q&A to find the type of vitamins you're looking for especially if you want something new. Other than that there aren't many vitamin stores to choose from only so this is one I would probably continue to use among the few.

Vitamin Shoppe always has the products I need, with a large variety of brands and options. The staff are always friendly and helpful, from finding an item to answering questions about products and making recommendations, they always take the time to understand me and my needs. I highly recommend Vitamin Shoppe Online or in person! They’re great!

This online company is fairly good in most areas. I have used them several times with no major complaints. The products are reasonably priced and delivery is always within the anticipated delivery. I don’t have any complaints about their service or product and would recommend to family and friends.

I don’t purchase as many vitamins as I usually plan to but my go to is either CVS, Vitamin Shoppe, or in a pinch Ralph’s. I would like to learn more about vitamins and Vitamin Shoppe always seems knowledgeable. Luckily they’re down the block from where I reside as well.

Fairly well run stores with good customer service and excellent products but a bit pricey in some areas. Clean eye appealing stores and labeled shelves to easily find what you need. Employees are friendly and very helpful.

Online ordering is simple, managing the repeat order process is very flexible. Shipping could be faster on repeat orders. Sales and incentives like buy one get one 50% off are helpful for frequently purchased items.

I typically spend around $100/month at VS. I discontinued "Auto Ship" because deliveries/inventory were anything but dependable, causing more thought, effort and record-keeping than not, defeating the whole purpose of "Auto Ship." Recently I was too ill to go to the store before a 20% coupon expired so I ordered online. Same old' story; they gladly took my money, all items listed "In Stock," I have only received one of six products 12 days later, and now IF (a big "if") their shipping update is correct, I will receive the rest of my products a full 16 days after order. I'm not holding my breath. This is, IMO, practically a criminal issue. I WILL NEVER buy VS online, EVER AGAIN, and have already started researching where else I can go for my monthly supplement needs, in town and online!

Health stores are one of those places where it's easy to get lost looking for an item. Immediately upon entry, I was greeted by Andrew; who escorted me directly to the product I was seeking. After having to experience the online-only order fulfillment delays over the past few months, it was a huge relief to be able to get in and out of a store in a timely manner. Additionally, Andrew's friendly disposition was greatly appreciated.

I submitted an order on 5/13/2020 at approximately 13:32 (1:32PM) EST (this is the time I received the confirmation email stating that they received my order). Then, on 5/15/2020 at approximately 23:18 (11:18PM) EST, I made another order (again, that time is when I received the confirmation email). About 2 weeks goes by, and I email customer care inquiring where my order is, because it still says "processing". I get an email back stating that my orders had been cancelled due to "not passing the verification process" (it was my card, my name is just written different ways so I put the wrong one I guess).
I inquire back and ask why I wasn't sent any email notifications that my orders were cancelled. I was told that they were sent on 5/13/2020 at 11:51AM EST (approximately 2 hours prior to my placing the order) and 5/15/2020 at 9:51PM EST (again, approximately 2 hours prior to my placing the order). I was NEVER sent these emails (I checked several times, even in my spam folder) and telling me they were sent at those times EST is a blatant lie. Never ordering from them again.

I have been buying iron pills {non constipating} from the Vitamin Shoppe for a couple of years. They are hard to find. Well a couple of months ago they started changing their yellow and green bottles to cheaper looking blue and white bottles.The clerk assured me they were the same pills just a new label. They are not the same. First they smell really bad, a strong mineral smell and second they taste so bad, can't get the taste out of your mouth with water. My husband and I were both gagging. Never had this taste with a pill. So I went back to the store to see what else they had, I even brought the smelly pills and the clerk acted like a know-it-all. Said there was nothing wrong with the pills and he takes them and that's what they smell like. Wouldn't listen when I said they never smelled and tasted like this before. Oh well I left and won't be back. This is the second time I had this guy as a clerk and I am done with his rudeness. GOOD BYE VITAMIN SHOPPE!!!

I have a bad cold and t so I took their vitamin c complex even 50,000 mgs over a 4 day but it genetically modified crap! Long as the vitamin c complex is worthless so I will be getting my vitamins from a reliable vitamin store. Your vitamins cannot be high quality as they are all GMOs. A real vitamin c strips the coating off the parasites so the killer cells can see them and attack them but with GMOs a make-believe vitamin this cannot happen. So shame on you!

Do not ever buy anything online from Vitamin Shoppe. They are the literal worst. They have things listed in stock and should ship in a week. Then it’s not ready to be shipped with multiple new “ship” dates stringing you along for months until they just up and cancel your entire order. The worst run online store in existence, worst customer service. I bought supposed in stock items on 9/30/19 and six ship date pushbacks later they completely canceled on 11/14/19.

The price matching policy is very deceptive and the employees are rude. I went in to purchase a item. While there I noticed it was on sale at Amazon. I was told they would not match it seeing it wasn't by Amazon. But looking at their policy they dont match Prime items and but they price match items shipped and sold by Amazon which would make it Prime. So they're wording should just say we dont price match Amazon. When bring this up I had the employee smirk and roll his eyes at me. No wonder this store is always empty. I will never go back. I will go elsewhere for my kids vitamins.

I've been a long long-time consumer and reward member for 10 years, yet they consistently have a problem updating my personal information, in-store. 3 years ago, I moved out of state and have continued shipping at the Vitamin Shoppe and when they started the auto delivery, I signed on. Naturally, the female employee confirmed my shipping address and I made here aware of my new one. She assured the info was now updated, yet I receive a charge and delivery to my old state address two times in a row. I'm currently awaiting their response for refunds or I'm done with them. I ordered a product online from them. I came to pick it up and it was already in a bag. Thinking nothing of it, I took it home with me. Later on, I found someone had opened the package from the side and removed one third of the supplements I paid for. I called their customer service and was told I would be given a refund. The refund never came and the email promised explaining the situation never materialized either. I called back again only to get the runaround and brush offs from another customer service rep. This one told me to go to the store. I gave up. I lost about twenty bucks, but at least I know not to deal with them ever again. Very dishonest business model. I don't think they actually care about customer service. Looking back at it now it has the hallmarks and feel of a hustle.

Ordered 4 cases of Isopure. 3 were damaged in shipping as packing was bad and the glass bottles broke. One never left Phoenix, Arizona and no one could explain to me why. I then received 2 replacements before 2 of the original order were shipped or received! No one could explain that one either. Then I get a box with one flavor - that only had 9 bottles (there was supposed to be 12). No one could explain that. After numerous go arounds, I am firmly convinced that this company has NO customer service. When I voiced my displeasure, the only response I received that it was my prerogative not to be a customer of the Vitamin Shoppe. Consider it done.

So I placed an order in the store, they said I would get it in 3-5 days, didn't happen so I called customer service to cancel it. I got the reps name as Kim, she said she would cancel it and I would get a refund in 24-48 hours. Didn't happen, so I called today and found out it was never canceled and I am receiving it today. So I have to go to the store and return it. What a headache when it couldn't have been avoided if Kim did what she said she would. I will never deal with them again. This has left a bad taste in my mouth.

My son, J., has multiple disabilities, including Down Syndrome and autism. He lives in a group home and participates in a prescribed, targeted nutritional program (TNI) which helps damp down the neurodegenerative effects of Down Syndrome and autism. One component of his TNI is Carlson Very Finest Omega 3 fish oil. Well, my son ran out of fish oil and I was out of town. I was confused by the Vitamin Shoppe's website, which describes the store as being in Cortland, New York, way up north. The closest Vitamin Shoppe to my son's group home is in Cortlandt Manor, New York. Associates at the Cortlandt Manor store assured me I could order online and payment would go to the right store. That worked out, and I appreciated that the website even sent me emails to let me know exactly what time the order was processed.
Then, I also had a specific request, that the fish oil, which was ordered in my name, on my credit card, could be picked up by any staff member who came in and asked for "fish oil for the house," whether they remembered to use my name or not. The associates on the afternoon shift passed along these specific instructions to the evening shift and when a staff member from the group home came in and asked for "fish oil for the house," it was given to them, no problem. My son is nonverbal and can't ask for the supplements himself, but Vitamin Shoppe associates were so helpful.
These supplements really help Joe to be alert and focused and greatly improves his cognition and quality of life. We want our son to have the independence he desires, to be away from home like his brother and sister who are also in their twenties. But for J., that means relying on staff at the group home and day program to meet his needs. Knowing there is a Vitamin Shoppe close by his group home with kind, caring associates to help J. get his supplements is a real blessing.

If I could rate lower than one star, I would. I ordered six cases of Bang Energy. Received two tracking orders, when I had six cases. All coming in at different times. Cases were missing. Tracking numbers weren’t given on four cases. Customer Service reps went back and forth emailing me. Some saying they would refund the horribly damaged case they sent me, another offering me a 10% discount code for the inconvenience. As if the customer’s satisfaction and money is a joke. And I still, have yet, to receive my last two cases. Just order from a website like BodyBuilding.com, and COMPLETELY AVOID THIS COMPANY.

My experience is just like the countless others listed on here. I ordered online for a product. Was charged 1.5 times more than the cost of the item. When I call to fix the problem, they blame the bank and repeat the same thing to me over and over again. Not at all helpful. Needless to add your bank could care less if you have a problem with another company. They do nothing anyway...but we already knew that. Yes...like the others... Will never shop at Vitamin Shoppe again.

I had to call in regarding my healthy awards points that I have never been able to redeem although online, they were connected to my Spark auto delivery account. The rep DeSondria was AWESOMELY HELPFUL and patient while she looked through my account and found that my awards had in fact never been redeemed for the almost 2 years I've been on auto delivery! She apologized and said as a courtesy she'd go ahead and refund me the $5 rewards I'd acquired during the year (4 in all) back to my account and said I'd be able to use my next award with no problem! She was very pleasant and never once sounded annoyed like so many other customer service reps I've talked to! Thank you!

Maybe I should be thankful for the money I'm saving because I can't order online due to their unstable glitchy website. This is the second go around dealing with problems processing orders online. Last time took about 3 months to resolve, I go in store and they tell me, "yeah, we know, others are having the same problem" that time was an issue where order online, pick up in store wasn't available. This time my order is submitted and I even get the email saying we received your order. Then the one that says it's processing, but please wait. Then later I get one saying it was canceled due to payment issue. Even though it's the card on file, the same card I have been using.
Card company, says nope you're card is fine, your account is fine, we aren't even showing anything from Vitaminshoppe trying to process. They have a problem on their side. I've tried to place the order through the app, same problem. I've called multiple times and while the front-line people are great and they really do try to help and be courteous, it is beyond their ability. I get transferred to corporate and go through the whole thing again but they're rude and condescending and won't listen, they are adamant that it is my card.
Now, I'm not only frustrated, I'm mad. So the other day I go into the store and purchase a few items, same card, and no problems. They tell me, "yeah, sorry the website has problems." So FIX IT! I tried one last time today to place an online order, same problem... I call and tell them, "Look. I just used the same card in store a few days ago. My last online order that processed a month ago was with this card." She tries to place the order herself and can't... Apologizes, and again says yes, they've received multiple complaints and tells me she'll escalate it. During all this I had used my Healthy awards, which has not been credited back to my account either... If I didn't live in Hawaii, where options are somewhat limited, shipping is costly and slow, I would never order from them again.

The prices at Vitamin Shoppe and GNC are absurd. Once you learn from them what you need which may take 6 months as each dumb employee will differ in opinion then go online eBay and all is 50% less and it arrives clean and perfect packaging. I’ve been ripped off by these stores for 5 years now.

I was drawn to Vitaminshoppe.com because their prices were much lower compared to what I saw on Amazon and you could use coupons. I was saving 20% with VS compared to Amazon. However, this was too good to be true. When I placed my order I accidentally entered the wrong billing address, leading my bank to freeze my account. My fault. I called the bank to verify the mistake and everything was copacetic to make my purchase. Vitamin Shoppe decided to make this very difficult and declined my card over and over again.
I ended placing the same order at least 5 times, during which, I was in contact with their customer service department via email, live chat and by phone a total of 9 times. The ensuing headache was a complete waste of my time and theirs! I even placed the order over the phone with an associate and she said it was good to go. Only to get an email later next week saying it was canceled. This was the worst shopping experience of my life and I won't be coming back!

I purchased protein powder that was on sale on their site. The first thing that happened was that they charged me full price, not the sale price. I contact them and they go issue a refund for the difference, but it's the wrong amount. Again, I contact them, they issue another refund, but this time for too much. The next day, they go back into my account and take an amount that is over and above the mistake. The next day, they take a large amount, and another amount the next day, and on and on. I call them, they put some back. This went on for two weeks. My bank couldn't do anything to adjust the amounts and said that the only thing that I could do is sign paperwork to block them from my account. So, I waited until I had more money from them than owed, and filed the paperwork. I made $30 for two weeks work. I will never do business with them again. Sure, I could use cash, but, why give them the sale?

I needed some supplements the quickest as possible, bought them at the website and almost a week later, they haven't shipped anything. So it took almost 2 weeks to receive my products after payment! On the other hand, I ordered some products at bodybuilding.com and they were all delivered 2 days after! I will never buy anything at Vitamin Shoppe again!!

Went to a local Vitamin Shoppe to purchase protein powder and BCAA's. After purchase I opened the protein powder and knew it was the incorrect one I bought. The BCAA's were unopened. The Vitamin Shoppe in my area does not print a return policy on the receipt. I Googled their return policy and saw, on their website, that even if the products have been opened I can still return them for my original payment method in full as long as I have the receipt. Again, this was stated on the official Vitamin Shoppe website and is the first result that returns from a Google search.
I went to the local Vitamin Shoppe and brought my products with receipt. I was told I could only get store credit. After explaining what I saw on the website and having the official Vitamin Shoppe website open (which states this return policy is valid for ALL stores) the VS associate then went to a computer behind the cashier desk and pulled up a store return policy that is specific to them and a policy that NO ONE would ever know about. In that policy it stated I could not return for cash. This policy is nowhere to be found online and is not printed on the back of the local VS's receipt.
I settled for store credit and sent Vitamin Shoppe customer service an email detailing my issue. It has been about 3 weeks and I still have not received a response from Vitamin Shoppe. I took the store credit, which is still unspent, in hopes that I could eventually get my cash back (my original payment method). I will never shop there ever again and will advise to my peers, and others not to as well.

I purchased 2 Organic Doctor foot and heel creams on 8/4/18 online to ship to Vitamin Shoppe store on Tampa ave in Northridge CA. I called customer service and the actual store because on the confirmation my telephone number was incorrect. I was told by both customer service and the store that it didn’t matter because once my items arrived I would receive an email to inform me that I can come pick up my purchased items. I NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL. Instead, 6 days later I received an email stating my order was cancelled because I didn’t come pick it up and there was a “problem” with my payment in which I had already paid for the merchandise in order for them to ship it to the store. I immediately called customer service. Customer service and she said she wasn’t sure what was going on and why I was not contacted BUT she apologize for this.
I explained that this was unacceptable because Vitamin Shoppe still had my money, I still didn’t have my merchandise that I paid for, no one knows what’s going on and the apology was just to shut me up, it was not an apology to correct the situation. I asked to speak with her supervisor. The supervisor said the same thing. So, I called the store and they said the same thing. I asked everyone about my money. Everyone said they would contact Vitamin Shoppe. I then called PayPal because I paid through PayPal Credit. PayPal Credit said they would put a request in for my refund on 8/11/18. I still have not received my refund nor do I have my merchandise that I paid for. Vitamin Shoppe is a fraudulent company and beware of them!!! It is a shame how people get paid to do a job that they DO NOT do. They have not tried to accommodate me in any way and still have my money and merchandise. The company and customer service is horrible!!! Beware.

Worst customer service I have EVER received. I cancelled my account 3 months ago by speaking with a representative on the phone. On the 3rd, $30 was taken out of my account with no email no order number, nothing. I called and was told I would get it refunded that day by a SUPERVISOR. I was lied to and after calling 3 more times, and every time they said it was already refunded. Turns out it wasn’t, and they will not pay back the charge for overdrafting my bank account. DO NOT SHOP HERE OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. SCAM.

Last week on the 18th of July I went into a Vitamin Shoppe in Pearland Texas to purchase a container of your brand of vitamin c powder 1000mg 8 oz, I waited until today 7/25/2018 to open it because I was waiting of another product to come in the mail to use with my vitamin c powder. Well to my surprised when I pulled the protected tab off the container it's wasn't a full 8oz container. It's more like a 4 oz worth. Half of the jar is empty. I paid $11.98. I got it over the 4 oz so it would last at least a month but if I knew I getting short change 4 oz I would have bought the smaller container. I feel something needs to be done about this, I'M A VERY DISAPPOINTED LOYAL CUSTOMER.

I placed my order, I was charged, and Vitamin Shoppe immediately cancelled the order saying the products weren't available. So that's ridiculous to begin with. Take it off your site if it's not available. BUT THEN--3 days after they took my money, I haven't gotten a refund. So now I'm chasing them trying to get my money back. They are the WORST.

Ordered a product on June 4 which was damaged by UPS en-route. So UPS sent it back to them and only after multiple emails and phone calls did Vitamin Shoppe tell me what happened with my package. Anyways, they resent it, this time to a wrong address. So, I contacted their customer service again and after 10 emails back and forth and multiple phone calls, they still haven't shipped my product to the right address.

Regular customer x 4 yrs. Packaging lately has been substandard. Bag of chips was open with contents all over box. Poorly secured with insufficient bubble wrap. Cake bites very warm, melted and disfigured... delivered 8 days after ordered. Good grief. Will try competitors for next orders.

Ordered a product online and it turned out to be a nightmare. Never received the product here in Canada as I refused to pay a brokerage fee and no one could tell me what the cost would be. The product was returned (as it was never received). Now I am told that my refund is denied even though the return policy says, quite clearly, that any returned unopened order will be refunded in full. An absolute scam!!! Do not order anything from this company online!

I am a regular shopper at Vitamin Shoppe for convenience but my experience is far below expected. I shop at the store 0249, OR. I placed a bulk order with them and noticed the charges were twice as high as it should be. After many emails and few phones called, they did fix the issue but after reading other reviews, I thought this is the company's common practice since so many others had the same experience.
Again just a few days back I went there and bought so many items. After came back I checked what I got to find out 5 units were missing. I went back and ask. Staff asked to come back while the manager is at the store. I went next day and I were given the balance. I asked what went wrong? They said, "don't know, everything is perfect at the store, there is nothing extra". I told them that in that case, I am not gonna take anything from here. But I know how much I should have and how much I got. That means, there should be excess at the store. I left and did not take anything. Big loss for me!

From one order I had two separate issues! First they billed me when the order was first purchased. Fine. But shortly after I noticed a second charge. I call them to find out why and they tell me it's my bank fault. BS. One item shipped separate from the rest of the order so they reauthorized a second amount besides the initial order charge. So in the meantime I didn't have access to those additional funds until the second charge dropped off a few days later. Unacceptable. Then one of my items was never shipped, I contacted chat support who were rude and unprofessional. In the end I got a replacement sent but who knows when it will arrived. I had ordered these items for post surgery recovery and now one of them most likely won't be here in time.

Ordered a product on March 11 and it is now supposed to be delivered on March 30. When ordering they state it ships within 4 days. 19 days is unacceptable. They apologized and offered me $5 off my next order. This was a product that we needed right away. I asked to have someone call me back or email me. I was told that they cannot. I went into Vitamin Shoppe as I always do. Paid for my vitamins and when I got home and checked my bank account they slammed me 3 times for the same purchase. And reading the reviews on Vitamin Shoppe I will now start paying by cash. Also today is 3-8-18 Thursday and you cannot talk to corporate because of snow. Ok well I live in south Florida. So we will see. In the meantime YOUR BANK wants you to jump through hoops and now I have a 7-10 day window to hear from my bank for a decision on this matter. If my bank allows this B.S. On Jan 30, 2018, I placed an order #** for 3 Body Nutrition Trutein 45/45/10 Blend of Whey 4 Pound Powder VANILLA BEAN @ $49.93 each for $149.78. Upon receipt of the delivery package (**) I discovered the order was wrong. I immediately called the number on the manifest enclosed within the package. I was told by the The Vitamin Shoppe representative to discard the mistaken product and that a correct product would be immediately sent.
A month passed with no replacement. I was forced to spend over an hour on the phone with Jet and The Vitamin Shoppe representative on the evening of March 5, 2018 without a satisfactory resolution. On the morning of March 6, 2018, I again contacted Jet and asked to speak to a supervisor and that request was denied. I also contacted The Vitamin Shoppe and was instructed that it was not their problem to resolve. I have spent over three hours being bounced between two companies, both companies making false and misleading representations, both companies unable to provide the product I paid for a month ago.
I have just ordered the Corporate Certificate of Good Standing long form at the cost of $250 through the NJ. Gov website to receive the corporate information of addresses and corporate officers for both Jet.com.inc Entity # ** and the Vitamin Shoppe Entity # **, that I was refused by multiple Jet.com.inc and Vitamin Shoppe representatives. Fortunately, Rhode Island Courts have award substantial damages against for companies acting with similar behaviors.
I will be willing to discuss offers of settlement, until I receive that requested information for the New Jersey Government. Upon receipt of the Corporate Principles, I will be filing legal action to recover the funds taken from my family, compensation for the extensive time invested to recover my losses and damages as a resulting from the actions of by both companies.

Very, very poor customer service at VitaminShoppe.com. Out-of-stock items listed as “Ships within 24 hours,” multiple unanswered emails though their own Feedback Forum, discourteous agents operating Live Chat… Overall, incredibly poor communication and a dreadful shopping experience. Avoid the lure of the occasional coupon and avoid VitaminShoppe.com. It is not worth the trouble.

Ordered product online on Feb. 6. Contacted them today, via chat, on Feb. 15 about my order, since I had not heard anything and it never arrived. Oh, that order was cancelled, out of stock. This is the information I got out of chat. I cannot believe I was not notified. This order was for a visiting relative that is leaving 2-28. I ordered from Pharmaca. At least I know it will show up or if it is out of stock, I will be notified. Vitamin Shoppe may as well not even have online ordering since they do not know how to process orders.

I placed an order for Source Naturals Magnesium Malate on Jan 22, '18. Prior to placing the order, the website claims 'ships today'. I called to ensure that the item was actually in stock, (because of a recent order I placed and the item was not in stock.) I was told it was in stock, so I immediately placed my order. The next day, after no notice of my item actually being shipped, I called to verify that it had shipped. I was told that my item would arrive on Jan. 24. I asked, "Is it suppose to arrive at MY house on the 24th?" The rep responded, "Yes." Something didn't feel right so I finished the call and hung up, just so I could call to speak to someone else. I was then told that my item was NOT IN STOCK, although I was previously told it was. I was told the item would arrive at the warehouse on the 24th and should ship that day. It was scanned on the 25th, but it didn't leave the warehouse until the 26th.
Today is Feb 1st, the day my package is supposed to be delivered, and still no package. My package has been sitting only 3 hours away since the 29th. Today makes 4 days of no shipping activity. My order claimed 2-6 days for shipping. Today is day 11 since placing the order, and 8 days since it shipped. I am actually kind of disgusted right now. I need my supplements for energy and to combat my severe constipation. I'm sure you can imagine my misery at the moment. No more online orders from them. Ever.

January 25th I place an order, one buy one get one 50% off and some other items on sale. 5 days of "processing" go by and I contact support. They tell me that 3 of the items are discontinued and are no longer available and the other will be shipped in a couple days. Fine whatever. Now this morning I get an email 6 days after the order is placed. That the rest of the items are "no longer in stock." Go to the main site and click sale then 9.99 and under deals 4 of the items they don't even have! You can still order everything!? I think it might be a purposeful lure to have people purchase lower discount items and only ever get the ones that were full priced.
Literally the WORST company I've EVER interacted with. Will be watching the site occasionally if/when the items come, back which they will, if the original sale price isn't honored then in my mind it completely confirms this company's unethical practices. The fact that it's been, according to the CS, 20 days since the item was discontinued, and now the rest of the order cancelled after being told multiple times that the rest of the order will be available. You can still just navigate to the site RIGHT now and order 2/1/18 is unbelievable. Will never patronize a single Vitamin Shoppe again. TL:DR; Not a trustworthy company!

Vitamin Shoppe online had a 20% discount for any orders over $100. I placed an order for $133. They only gave me a 10% discount. So I emailed them and they said that they would get back to me within 24 hours. That never happened. So I called them. The "wellness enthusiast" employee told me over the phone that they will give me the discount only with my next purchase... since my order had already arrived. I called multiple times to talk to a manager who would not come to the phone. Buyer beware!!!

On Monday 1/8/18, I placed a $65 order which the money was taken out of my account immediately. I received a confirmation e-mail showing me my order number and telling me that the items I ordered will be shipped that day. Today I called the automated number to find out the status of the order and found out that the order number they gave me was invalid. Additionally, I called customer service and I was told that the order was still being processed. The e-mail they sent me was a scam. They purposely sent me this e-mail in order to take the money out of my account because by law they are not supposed to take the money until the order ships. This is the second time Vitamin Shoppe has done this to me. I will no longer purchase anything from them and once the order is received I will return every item to the store not far from where I live. I am done with these scammers.

I've always purchased from The Vitamin Shoppe stores and have been more than pleased with my experiences! This is my first time ordering online, and I will never ever do this again! I'm disabled on a low income and use a prepaid credit card. They put holds on my account 7x and instead of being charged $62, they held over $200 of my money for more than 7 days! I've had nothing but the runaround and denials and justifications. No one ever apologized. This is never happened to me before in my life and it had devastating consequences, my fault. I should have paid my bills first but who would know this would happen?

I made an order and paid for expedited shipping- 2nd day air. When order was placed, confirmation said it would “ship today.” It shipped 3 days later. I called and had to talk to 2 people, but eventually was reimbursed for shipping, which was great. Then I track my package and see that it is due to arrive 4 days after shipping, not 2 as is standard for UPS 2nd Day Air. I will not ever be shopping with this business again. I ordered cold medicine prescribed by my naturopath for a bad virus and only available online. This mess up means no medicine for a week when I would have had in 3 days!

I placed an 'ON 100% Whey Gold Standard' order online, and the expected shipping for the same was 2-6 days. However, the product wasn't shipped even by the 7th day. So, I raised a complaint at their contact us: feedback form on their website. After 3 long days, I got their reply; stating that the order has now been returned back to the warehouse. To this, I raised my concern on the same email, but I didn't get any reply. I even raised a complaint on their feedback form, but, no reply. So this time, again after a few days, I called them, and I was told that the product was never shipped in the first place, and that now, they will be processing it soon. But, nothing happened.
So, I called them again the next day. And they told me that, this product and it's no longer in stock in their garage. So, I asked them to cancel my order, so that I can at least get my money back. To that, they told me that it will be done soon enough. But it has been 5 days since and I haven't got the refund yet. And every time I call, I am told that they did not get the payment at their end, and that the bank might be holding it, and I will get the money back after bank releases it after a few days. But till then (if it ever happens), my money is stuck and I did not get my product either. Let alone the frustration I faced during this whole process.

My experience with Vitamin Shoppe was extremely positive and I have used them numerous times. I prefer them even to Walmarts and local drug store vitamin alternatives. Prices are low and shopping is convenient, coupons available too, variety and size selection is excellent, easy to reach customer service, well packaged and arrived quickly, good followup email with more coupon and loyalty rewards to follow. Product was easy to find, quantity options are ample, variety of delivery methods are good, very good experience and got a good sale plus discount savings allowed. However, shipping time is lengthy but free so can’t complain much about it, but no local store possibly because I’m in a rural area.

They have a lot of variety and selection to choose from. I like that I can get all of my different vitamins in the same place at the same time. They have the best vitamins to choose from so I know I am buying a good product. The staff is usually helpful. I have a lot of questions about the best types of vitamins for my needs and they are able to answer those. However, the company can sometimes be pricier than getting them somewhere else. Also there are not many locations so it requires me to drive a good bit to visit the store. Overall, my Vitamin Shoppe experience has been great.

Vitamin Shoppe has good customer service, not too pushy and attentive to my needs. I liked how the experience is welcoming and does not push medical pseudoscience. I liked the store layout when I last visited and good selection, as well as related products (eg. drink mixers) that would be useful. I also liked that it's straightforward and decent availability of most common vitamins and supplements. I just wish they would supply more hemp products, especially hemp seed oil capsules as an alternative to fish oil. I do not like the 'fish burps' and like hemp seed oil instead, but I have to order online through another retailer to get it.

I like the large variety of brands that Vitamin Shoppe offers, along with ways that the customers can purchase the various products for ingestion i.e. gummies vs. capsules. Next to GNC, it is my favorite to shop for vitamins and different supplements. The customer service and care is very good. I've known the name for forever, I always remember it because how shoppe is spelled. People talk about it and I feel like they used to have many store to actually visit too. But they are slow in shipping and even sent mine to somewhere else first? They shipped some products to me instead of my neighbors and I opened by mistake. Also, I feel they might not be as progressive as some smaller places and don't have alternative options as much. Maybe price is sometimes high, but could be more progressive and "hip"?

Vitamin Shoppe has great locations. The stores are always nice and clean. The store reps are helpful and always courteous. The prices are also reasonable, and there is a wide selection of products. I like visiting the store, I have one very close to me. The representative are knowledgeable about the products and helpful with selections. I can also find things online but I haven't ordered anything online. I have checked to see if there were products available in the store. This has been helpful and time saving. Some of the prices for certain items are pricey. I wish there were more locations in my city. The stores could be a little bigger or have a wider selection of products.

I like their variety, reputation and online offers. They have an easy website to navigate, lots of variety and a very comprehensive system of classifying product. The products are highest quality and I feel confident ordering from this retailer. Product arrived as ordered, and as expected packaged well. I have shopped online and in store and always have been satisfied. I would like to be able to reorder from a suggestive email, and not have to navigate the site again. Also, shipping charges, though I know are preset by the shipping agents and hard to negotiate, could be better. Email frequency could be tailored better to the end consumer and a customized reorder program with analytic suggestions would be great. A monthly box type system, similar to what I use with another retailer would be awesome.

We have been shopping on 20 August 2017 for vitamins, and found Vitamin Shoppe, and there was a coupon incentive of $25 if our order is $125 and more, and the validity of the coupon was 21 August 2017, we placed our order that meets the conditions and paid it via credit card. To our despair, received today, 24 August 2017 that our order was cancelled, informing us not to answer the email sent to us without offering any other way to communicate to Vitamin Shoppe. They offer to place the order again (with no options to use their coupon). We consider this as a scam tactic.

A specific thing I like the most about Vitamin Shoppe is they have a large selection of different products for my nutritional needs like vitamins and nutrition bars. However, they're kind of pricey compared to places like Walmart or Sam's Club that have larger quantities for cheaper. My overall experience using this company was best in product selection, I was able to choose from less popular brands that may not be found conveniently in stores nearby.

I like that I know what I am taking and that means that what is on the label can be trusted. I would not order if I did not trust because you cannot be too careful these days. Though, sometimes items are sold out. I do not like this but also understand that it just happens sometimes with a good product. I wish some items had a longer shelf life and still had the potency. I feel good taking the supplements that I buy here. If you feel good you know it is working. Everything always comes on time and there is always some sort of great deal.

Vitamin Shoppe has a large variety of different vitamins, an easy to use website and other family members have used the website. They are different from other company and providers. I wish they had a store closer to where I live though. It would be a lot more convenient. I had one problem with an order and customer service was really good and helpful and I was able to get my order corrected. Shipping and delivery was fast. I get the majority of my orders within a week and a half.

You can take a sale advertisement for specials in from any other store and Vitamin Shoppe will price match. I love that convenience and quality, it puts them above other stores. They have a very good and broad selection of products, which includes organic and holistic items. I'm very synthetic chemical conscious, so this is a big plus. Vitamin Shoppe has a good selection of products. And it's easy to view and find what you're looking for. I like that you can look at the ingredients of the different things that are available. I was happy with the product and the time it took to get it. Also, customer service was fine. The delivery time works fine and I was happy with my experience overall. However, I would like to see more reviews of the different products especially on some of the less popular items. And maybe some more natural products and things that aren't so readily available in the US.

Vitamin Shoppe is a lower cost alternative that works well for me. I have shopped at other stores where you have to pick and choose, were more expensive, and they don't carry as many brands, so I wound up getting from different places. The product selection with Vitamin Shoppe is vast and I can find everything I want in one place with low prices. Also, the search and checkout process was easy and worked well. I like this company and I love the selection of products and how they always have something in stock. They are great and always have what I need. If they don't, I can let them know and then get notified when it's available. It's easy to find what you need, if you need help, customer service will help you with anything you might need. Vitamin Shoppe has been doing what it does since 1977 so they're definitely experts in vitamins. They are very reputable having been around a very long time. Shipment is easy and prices are reasonable. Plus, they have an excellent supply of all the brands I take. I have had nothing but positive experiences with each vitamin purchase, both online and in their stores. Customer service is always bar none, the best. I have always been happy with their service, which is prompt, simple and straightforward. In the rare case that I have had a problem, their customer service has been prompt and responsive to my needs.

They have good selection organic vitamins and vitamins that help with a variety of conditions. The vitamin was good for my condition. They have good customer service with knowledgeable staff also. Varying pricing too. Prices are high on some items. The store is very nice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan so the rents must be high so I understand why prices are high but you can get cheaper elsewhere like Amazon. They are in a good location though in the Upper East Side by my building and they keep the store clean. Other than that, they offered great advice. I asked them a question about a health issue and they were very helpful and offered a variety of options. Very good experience.

So I went to Fairfax.CA store for refund as their policy in 30 day. However, At first, he was unkind and not willing to get my money back or exchange. I got store credit, so I asked him for same item. He said not in stock. He can only send me to my address. Asked my Phone number numerous times. I asked him to send by mail. When placing orders they don't show you the amount till the end even, when you apply a coupon code you still don't see what or how much you're getting off. At first it showed me $31 total Canadian. Then I applied my coupon code and the total amount disappears. I'm like ok we'll see at the end... to find out the ** total almost is $70. PLS PLS PLS DO NOT PURCHASE ** from these pigs. Be aware. Sucks iHerb.com ran out. They are always my 1st choice even though I pay customs fees when my things arrive.

Ordered product on a Monday, needing it for a trip scheduled Saturday. Website stated product in stock, and est. ship date on same day as ordered. Checked status on Tuesday, was informed it would ship that day. Product did not ship, so I checked again on Wednesday; SOS, they said it was going out that day. Here it is Thursday, still has not shipped. Called again and get the apologies, but was told they'll ship today, next day air. (Will keep an eye on CC to make sure they don't bill for that.) Amazing in this day and age that I can order same product from Amazon, and get a shipping confirmation within a couple of hours. Sears and K-Mart learned their lesson the hard way, other Shoppes best take notice, or they will soon be in the dumpster, too.

Vitamin Shoppe advertises, sells and confirms over the phone the quantity of product you're buying, but ship smaller quantity. They say 16oz is what you're buying, they document the sale as 16 oz and ship you 14 oz. After being notified of the error, they continue to do the same thing and make no changes to product description on website. Raw Fit original has been on the website as 16 oz for months, but they ship 14 oz. Buy elsewhere and get what you pay for.

I went to the store in response to a "same day store pickup" order I placed; 2 days had since passed. I understood that this might be the case at minimum because their website warns you, if the request is made within 2 hours of closing time of your local store, the "same day" request might not be honored. (This would lead one to believe that at minimum, the Vitamin Shoppe is checking real-time in-store inventory, and will fulfill your order from said in-store inventory at your local branch; since there's not much chance that even a timely morning order placed to a store could be fulfilled by same-day evening, if the store has to have the order shipped to it from a different locale.)
Well, clearly this is not the case, as my appearance in-store on the second day, was greeted with "We never received that order." After which point I apparently had no recourse except to purchase the same item from their on-shelf stock. To be fair, I would later note that my spam filter had misplaced an email sent 90 minutes earlier from the Vitamin Shoppe apologizing for not being able to fulfill my online order; regardless of which, why? I have money in my payment source, and the Shoppe said the order was approved. They simply said I had to "Wait to be able to pick it up."
If they aren't ready to fulfill the order, don't email customers saying your order is approved. If I wanted to wait several days for the arrival of a single simple supplement, I'd have ordered from a place that doesn't boast 2-day in-store pickup, max. At least when one orders from Amazon they tell you when the package will arrive, thus giving you a chance to accept or deny their shipping timeframe before you press "buy". Very poor process on the part of the Vitamin Shoppe.

Hagerstown, Maryland branch is run by a very short angry man. Unlike all other locations he hides his free samples of protein and energy drinks in the back of his fridge like some kind of freak. They are normally set out in a cooler for customers to help themselves. I spend $4-20 a day at VS stores. This guy told me I wasn't allowed a sample as I had a sample the day before on a separate TRANSACTION. He told me no. I asked again and he said it cost him money... personally. Forget the 15 or 16 years of customer loyalty of $2,000-$4,000 yearly. These guys told me no repeatedly. It wasn't a joke. I'll just go elsewhere. Keep your samples. The few cents you saved cost you thousands.

I was in the Burnside Portland, Oregon store today to pick up some **. The sales associate seemed very rude. She had black hair and was about 5 feet in height. When my change was handed back to me she "threw it" at me, while giving me rude looks as I left the store. Being a national nutritionist I used to send clients to your store, however in the future I am having serious reservations about using your store as a referral service for supplements and vitamins for my clients.
I don't appreciate being treated disrespectfully as a customer in your store and if this continues I will no longer shop at your store, and refuse referring my clients to your store. I have shared my experience with numerous online customer rating networks so they too may be warned about this behavior that is occurring at the Portland, Oregon Burnside location.

I order from here because of deals and the product I want is always in stock. I am done with it though, shipping is ridiculous!!! I can't track it. They take forever, and CS was useless!! Not once but almost every time! I will pay a bit more and order from elsewhere now.

Shipping is ridiculous to track. They ship partial orders without any notice and never reship the backordered. You get standard answers when you write customer service. Order anywhere but from here.

They claim their slogan to be "everyone matters". Hahah what a joke this crappy company is. Spent over $200 with them early April 2016, I know is not much but to me it's $200. Received my first order after a few days even though I did same-day store pickup, whatever. I got what I order so I didn't complain. Ending of April 2016 I ordered again to take advantage of their BOGO sale of their crappy brand, spent $127.06 waiting for the product. I get an e-mail saying that the order is cancel with no reason why. I call the number provided. I am told I am out of luck and can try to re-order as they can't tell me what happen. lol. This company is a joke, they have terrible customer service, sell really crappy supplements that they attach their name to sale BOGO deals and get upset when you question what happened with your order. I will never give this terrible company a dollar.

On April 22 at The Vitamin Shoppe located at 2205 N. Federal Hwy, Ft. Lauderdale 33305 I purchased two items totaling $50.98. This morning, April 23rd upon a review of my checking account, I found two pending charges for the exact same price of $50.98. The Vitamin Shoppe must have accidentally charged my account twice. No big deal... Let me give them a phone call and try to rectify it or ask if I need to bring in a copy of my bank statement. When I explained the dilemma to ** the manager on shift, his response was, "That's impossible, we can't double charge". In response, I suggested I bring in a copy of my bank statement showing the two pending transactions with two different transaction numbers from The Vitamin Shoppe.
He told me there's no need for that because there's nothing he can do to help me. Not once during our conversation did he ask for my name and information to at least look up my transaction. He suggested I call my bank and attempt to resolve it with them, at which I then stated, "This is why I shop with Amazon.com because they would have looked up the transaction, verified the situation and resolved it... making my shopping experience a smooth, happy experience."
** then became upset, argumentative and interruptive. I expressed my dissatisfaction with his behavior towards me as a customer and this will all go into my review of my shopping experience at their store, plus I'm going to use his behavior when I call The Vitamin Shoppe corporate office. ** hung up the phone on me. Hmmm... The Vitamin Shoppe charges me twice (accidentally) and owes me $50.98 and then I receive abusive attitude from the manager on duty and he hangs up on me.
How interesting is that? If I had a problem with a transaction with Amazon.com, they'd have been apologetic and extremely cooperative with me, thus making me feel as if I am a valued customer. Upon contacting The Vitamin Shoppe customer service, I spoke with a representative named Elley and explained my experience thus far. I was calm, but obviously a very dissatisfied customer. She apologized for my experience and told me I would receive a call from corporate on Monday as they are not in the office during the weekend. I do expect to be refunded the mistaken transaction funds, but I sincerely hope the manager ** receives some sort of disciplinary action and training in customer relations. An apology would be a good start. I will be holding off from submitting my review pending the outcome of our investigation...
April 27, 2016... It is now 5 days after my purchase at The Vitamin Shoppe and 4 days since I initiated my complaint with customer service at The Vitamin Shoppe. I did not receive a call from corporate Vitamin Shoppe in regards to my financial issue nor the abusive treatment from Ike the local manager. I instead initiated a call regarding both issues and was told my funds will be refunded. In regards to ** and his abusive customer relations skills... Well, I haven't been contacted by anyone from The Vitamin Shoppe which is indicative of a much bigger problem at The Vitamin Shoppe.
The Vitamin Shoppe clearly does not care about their customers. This is why their employees are completely unskilled in customer relations. Hence, this is why I do the majority of my shopping (spending my hard earned money) at Amazon.com... a company which clearly has a complete training department on customer relations. Amazon has the exact same products for $9 less with 2 day delivery which will be subscribed to for a very pleasurable monthly delivery. Thank You **. Thank you Vitamin Shoppe for a very long drawn out disastrous $50 shopping experience.

I purchased a supplement for $30 at the Vitamin Shoppe. When I returned home, I opened the jar to find that the foil seal had a huge hole in it - as though someone stuck a finger through it. I took the supplement and the receipt back the next day. They did not have the another of the exact supplement that I purchased, so I chose another brand. There was a price difference and I was owed money from the exchange. I was told that I could have a credit to the store, but not cash back (I paid with cash for the original purchase). The lady who works at the store is very helpful and informative but told me that since the original jar was opened, I was not able to get cash back. I went ahead and purchased other things to make up for the money that I was owed. For future purchases of this nature, I will go to GNC.

I received my award coupons approximately a month or two ago in the mail. I have a couple of accounts with them, one under my name, one under my son's name. I received another $25. award coupon in the mail to my surprise. So I went to Vitamin Shoppe and when paying and trying to use the new award coupon I'm told it has been used already. Turns out they sent out a duplicate coupon a month or two later in the mail just like the first time. The cashier said that it happens many times. Once you're online with people behind you, chances are you'll just tell the cashier, "No worries just ring me up". I believe this is exactly what Vitamin Shoppe is hoping for and that's why they are sending out duplicates so they can drum up business. We are the customers that are their bread and butter and this is how they are returning the favor. When I called customer services I pretty much got a, "Oh well" from them. These kind of business tactics cannot be rewarded!

Vitamin Shoppe advertises they have same day shipping if ordered by 6pm eastern. I placed my order Thursday night, so it should have shipped Friday. Today is Wednesday and I haven't received shipping info, so I checked VS website, which lead me to UPS. Tracking info is as follows (most recent scan on top): Secaucus, NJ, United States 11/24/2015 (Tues) 12:28 A.M. - Departure Scan. Secaucus, NJ, United States 11/23/2015 (Mon) 6:56 P.M. - Origin Scan United States 11/22/2015 (Sun) 5:07 P.M. - Order Processed: Ready for UPS.
My complaint isn't that it's taking 16 days for my order to arrive (and not the "2-6 days" they claim), but that VS states orders ship the SAME DAY. Since they had my order bright and early Friday morning, why did my package not arrive at UPS till TUESDAY NIGHT?? I ordered online to save time, but it looks like I'll have to go to the store to buy my products and then take this package back to VS for a refund. I will not be shopping at Vitamin Shoppe again, online or in the store. There are many alternatives to choose from, so why support bad business practices?

I ordered a shampoo and conditioner almost 2 months ago. They never mentioned anything about a back order when I ordered the stuff online but then later I only received the conditioner in the mail. Now, almost after 2 months I still have not received the shampoo. I called in to tell them how dissatisfied I was with the customer service but they couldn't care less. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY IN FUTURE.

I went to buy some protein, and I saw a couple of the Vega protein on sale 50% so got the 2 last one and 1 of the soy protein non-gmo $50% too. When I got to the register they told wasn't on sale. I showed them the sign and they told it's for the product on the side also a soy protein, so I took one of those and the price was regular. They told "I am sorry we messed it up." But they don't gave me the discount. I have to look for other protein. Very sad. :(

Warning you're paying for placebos. I bought a thyroid supplement "kelp" that was supposed to help increase iodine. The recommended daily amount for iodine is 12 mg daily. Each pill only contains 250 mcg. You need 1000 mcg to equal 1 mg. I can get more iodine just by eating iodized salt for a fraction of the price. Also their protein shakes are double the price you can find elsewhere.

We have ordered several hundreds of dollars via online stores. Have ordered 2 times from this outfit, as I thought it cannot be so bad a second time. It was worse. The pricing is good, however the Customer Service is the worst I ever dealt with. Next day shipping? Will not happen... Next week shipping? If you are lucky that may happen. Took 8 days from order date until receiving a tracking number..... (Free advice) If you don't like to get aggravated stay away from this company.

Beneflex is advertised on their website as costing $47.99, purchase it monthly. Last week was at the store and was charged $50.99. Why? They say because from week to week, the prices change. How about that? I just cannot wait to go there and see what the next surprise price will be...not. I explained the matter to the salesman there and he was just too busy unwrapping products to be placed on the shelves to even listen to me. Go to Drugstores.com now... Get the price that is posted on the site, which is less and they deliver it for free to my home in a couple of days.
Called the store just today to inquire again as to why this happened. A man on the other end said the same thing... Prices can change from week to week. I was offered a refund but gee, I had already opened the bottle. So this is a 'hit or miss' shopping experience. This is a product I purchase every month. I don't need to play stupid games with prices. No thank you.

Purchased two deodorants on 1/31/15 for myself and daughter. The deodorants are actually causing high body odor than the usual. I called the 12 4th Ave Store to stated I would like a full refund for the item not a Merchandise Credit and he (the Manager) insist upon providing a Store Credit. The company sells products that don't work and then you force the consumer to continue shopping at your store with a Store Credit instead of offering a refund. I understand it is a hygiene product. However, they are insured for faulty products. This is my first time shopping with them and my absolute last. Will post this on all my Social Media pages.

The site was unresponsive to sending an email to reset password as they said the would. I received an email regarding a sale. The item was only to be on sale till midnight of that day that I read the email. It was only for online purchase. I was not able to log in to make the purchase without my password. I received an automated reply that someone would be respond within 24 hours. That automated response came through and a response to reset the password should have also. I was pretty upset because the sale item was 50% off and I was not able to order it.

I also had a very bad experience with them. I placed an order over the phone, because their site was down. Next day I got a confirmation e-mail with my order which had completely wrong name and address. Somehow my debit card was charged, even the name, billing and shipping name were wrong. That's very strange. I wasted 2 hours, calling them 3 times to fix my order. They would still make mistakes in my name and address. Those people do not care about service or their customers. I will never again order from them. Such a bad company.

I ordered four bottles of 32 oz UDO oil on 9-29-2014. On 10-10-2014 the package arrived at my post office with oil dripping out and glass rattling in the box. I refused the box and came home and called the vitamin shoppe. I was given a replacement order number and was assured the replacement items would be shipped immediately. By 10-30-2014 I had not received the replacement order and again called the vitamin shoppe and was told the replacement items were never shipped. Once again I was given a replacement order number and was assured the items would be shipped overnight. By 11/4/2014 I had not received the order. Once again I called the vitamin shoppe and now requested a refund. The box showed up today 11/6/2014 at my post office with oil leaking out and glass rattling in the box. I refused the box. By my count now I had received 12 smashed UDO oil. No wonder the shares are dropping. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS.

Very bad customer service. I ordered 2 products since October 3 and I was supposed to receive my package 3 weeks ago. However, I only received one of the products. The company had not provided me tracking number or any shipping information of this product, and it is exactly 1 month since the day I purchased it. When I contacted them recently, they said my products was back-ordered (Well, I don't mind waiting for it but they should have let me know about its delay). I cancelled my product. No solution offered! Never buy here again or refer anyone buy here!

In the past, I have written 2 reviews about vitamin shoppe products and cannot find the reviews on their website so I am guessing reviews are removed if not approved. I had terrible headaches after using VS stevia. It took months to figure out what in my diet was causing these terrible headaches and finally figured out it was VS brand stevia. Prior to that I had a review about another product and that review disappeared. Now I am questioning VS brand Melatonin. I still shop at the local VS store but I no longer buy any VS products.

I contacted Roxy and Kathy concerning non-delivery.. They did nothing for five days. Finally Kathy put me on hold for 30 minutes telling me I had no alternative if I wanted a refund. Finally came back online and supposed to get refund in two weeks. Stay away from these people. Very poor customer service and products do not get delivered and no explanation given.

6/2/2014: Merchant advertised free shipping on ALL orders. Website processed order and AFTER accepting my credit card info, it added shipping & charged it to my credit card! Took several days of emails to rectify that issue. 6/7/2014. No goods received. Phoned 866-293-3367. Automated system said should arrive by 6/9/2014. 6/16/2014. No goods received. Phone merchant, spoke to agent who apologized, said it was lost by post office and promised to ship replacement by UPS for delivery 6/17/2014. 6/17/2014. No goods received. Phoned merchant for 3rd time. This time they said order was not processed! IMHO, VitaminShoppe.com is an absolute FRAUD and should be shut down or heavily fined by FTC.

Do not use Vitamin Shoppe Online. I am a fan of their stores but their corporate on line customer service truly could not be worse. I received supplements HOT - not warm - HOT, compromising the effectiveness of all the supplements I bought. This all had to do with the way they ship their supplements without any insulation. When I emailed them to ask for a refund and a return tag, they promised me IN WRITING that they had sent a call tag AND had processed a refund for me.
I had to ask for a call tag twice and then they NEVER processed the refund for a full 20 days AFTER they had promised they had and AFTER I demanded proof from them that they had processed the refund - and yet they still never offered proof or an apology. This is about 17 emails later. I did finally get the refund, without apology and without any acknowledgement that they had made absolute statements that things had been done that were never done. It took stating that I would contact the Better Business Bureau to get my refund. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I went to the VS in Deerfield Beach to look for a product that I have bought there before, knowing they were a smaller store and did not have everything in stock. Needless to say, I could not find the product and the salesperson had no idea what I was talking about. I decided to drive to the Pompano Beach location about 3 miles away as they have a bigger selection. Of course, they were out of the product and the manager was not helpful. In fact, he walked away during the middle of our conversation to help another customer not even excusing himself.
I then asked if he could look it up in the computer and he said he could but products change every month. I asked him if this is the way he treats all customers and he said, "I don't know what you mean." I asked if I could get the manager's name and he said he was the manager. I told him I was not coming back and he lost a customer. He responded by saying, "What do you mean by a good customer?" Best part is I left and ordered the product 50% off online and saved over 25. I will never set foot in one of their stores again. Thanks for listening to me.

I went in to buy 1 specific item that was advertised in Muscle and Fitness magazine and ran it on computer. It was advertised as being on sale at Vitamin Shoppe stores. The product is made by Universal and called Cuts. The original price was $59.50 on sale at $28.79. They did not have it in store and I got a clerk to run it on computer and she said it was not there. I'm confused as it is being advertised and it’s on my computer. Thanks.

I ordered from them over a month ago. This shipment was performed in 3 parts. One part didn't make it to me as it was damaged. The re-order was done to replace this part. This shipment was damaged and none of the order was delivered to my address. I asked customer service reps to just issue me a credit or refund and I would just buy the item at their local retailer. I was told that a refund would be processed that day. I then went and purchased the item directly from one of their local stores and waited patiently for the refund. It never arrived. I contacted their customer service people again and had to explain this story a total of 5 times before a gentleman said I would get a refund processed immediately. That was yesterday. I still got no refund in my account.
I contacted customer service again. I refused to explain yet again what happened, because they don't take proper notes on orders. And I demanded to speak to accounts receivable. She refused and said she would review the notes. I sat on hold for over 15 minutes until I decided to contact their corporate offices. Every time I asked to speak to a manager or legal department or someone live about the problem, I was directed to a voicemail. Finally about 20 minutes after the initial call with Teresa, she called me back to tell me that she spoke to corporate and a refund was being issued today.
I'm not going to hold my breath. I was promised this multiple times already. I'm now filing complaints with the NJ Attorney General's office and the FTC, as their company is basically defrauding me by taking money and not delivering the promised goods. I am majorly displeased with this company. And when their direct competitor GNC is so easily accessible, I'm hard-pressed to find a reason not to take my business there. Their company's lack of customer service, ability to package a shipment to protect against damage, and overall fraudulent financial procedures are next of kin to criminal

I ordered an amino acid supplement in early April 2010 via their website. I was told the product was on backorder. As of June 4, 2010, I have still not received my order or a reason why the manufacturer has not delivered. Every time I email them asking about my order, all I get is the following:
"In response to your email, our records indicate that item CL-1546 is on backorder until approximately 04/25/10. However, please be advised that this date is not guaranteed and is subject to change. Once the item becomes available, it will ship out and should arrive within 3-6 business days"
They will not give me the next level manager's contact information or name. So tomorrow, I am going to place a call. They are giving me a total runaround so sending a complaint directly to their business development (sales) VP should get their friggin' attention!

After taking a Creatine supplement named, "Crea-Glu Tech", I noticed a wieght gain. This prompted me to take a closer look at the "Supplement Facts" information on the label.
It states a calorie count of 125 from: Carbohydrates = 16 grams, Protein = 2 grams.
This adds up to 72 calories only. Where are the other calories coming from? The fat content is listed as 0. E-mails to the company merely brushed me off telling me that they would get back to me.
