I worked construction and always wore a Timex watch. I have never had one fail on me and with the price range they are cheap enough to have more than 1. They keep great time and are very reliable. Batteries are easy to change, too.

Timex is a trusted, reliable brand, although I do believe that their quality has declined over the years. They could have more of a presence in today's market if they updated the brand.

I own many expensive elegant watches. My local “authorized” dealer, Tourneau, recently left my area, so I’m back to my old Timex. Easy battery replacement for about $10.00. Timex, takes a lickin’ and keeps on ticking. Fancy watches are sitting in a cabinet.

A good value for the money. You want to have a trustworthy watch without laying out a lot of money. Timex watches are a durable, and easy to access watch. Usually available when you need it at a local Target or box type stores. A great first watch for younger kids and a great durable watch for older athletes or college kids.

I received a Timex watch with a pattern of tulips on the watch face as a present about 20 years ago. It’s held up beautifully over time, only needing the battery occasionally changed, and the wristband replaced every several years as I wear it often. My husband likes Times Explorer watches a lot; however, the quality seems to have declined in recent years. They just don’t hold up as well as they used to. His last maybe two or three years nowadays; I remember when they could “take a licking and keep on ticking” 10+ years.

Timex for me is a tried true brand, long lasting, performs perfect. It was my first watch at 18 years old as a gift from a friend in 1976. It had a beautiful cream color leather band and a clear gold face and 3 black hands (two for the hour one for the minutes). Just set the time and it tells the correct time until the battery needed changing.

My husband purchased this watch for my birthday in 2003 and I have not had any problems with it. I've changed the battery once, in 2012. It still looks new. I love it.

I love Timex. It’s a great brand name with great quality. I never had a problem with any of their watches telling time except a battery problem which is no problem at all since I know how to change most watch batteries on my own.

The Timex watch has been an inexpensive durable watch that will last generations. They are stylish and have interchangeable bands. There wind up and digital models for both old school and the younger generation.

I actually loved the wind up Timex but you stopped making them. I had a couple of wind ups and they are still working from the 1960s. The battery ones only last as long as the battery does and then it costs you $12.00 to change every battery. Wish I could get a wind up again.

I enjoyed my Timex. It seems like it ran forever, and I never had a problem with it. I mean it would rewind itself by the movement of my arms movement. I really enjoyed that watch and I think I will buy me another one soon too.

I really have had no issues with the few Timex watches I own. They keep time and two of them are waterproof. The look of the waterproof ones is a little more bulky than a fashion watch but I have several watches to wear for fashion.

I've had more expensive watches but they don't last any longer, some even last less long! There are so many different possibilities to select from when you look at Timex watches. Always easy to find one I like; sometimes I have trouble deciding which I like the best! They are a great product.

For the price you can't beat the product. You can wear it, if you accidentally break it you can afford to replace it. Average product in the price allows you to have several Watson once 40 running casual when dressing even a pocket watch and you can do this on an average man salary.

In my mind, the Timex brand is comparable to *any* high-end watch product; it is very accurate, it is attractive, very durable and most of all (and most significant for me) it is quite affordable, as opposed to many high-end watch products. Although I currently don't wear a watch and probably won't ever wear one again, if I did desire to own a watch again, my first brand choice would be Timex.

Also during the 2000's when I was in the United States Coast Guard for over thirty years, I have traveled with Timex, in the air, on the sea, and land, through many states, islands and over seas, South America. I need to buy another one, looking right now. Timex to me is number one.

I have been a long time user of Timex watches. Like all products they change over the years. Sometimes the changes are a plus while other times they tend to be negative. Remember the old saying it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Timex watches have always been durable for me. They get banged around on things from time to time because when I wear a watch I wear a watch. My Timex watch is more on my wrist than off. The Timex watch I have now was all black when I purchased it oh a year ago but over time and yes getting hit on door faces etc the paint has been scratched off. I even used a black sharpie marker to fill in the scratches lol, yep it lasted awhile but more of the black paint wore off so I carefully removed the remaining black paint leaving a nice gray finish. I mostly wear digital watches this day and time.

I think all the watches that came out after by other companies, used the fact of glowing faces on their watches. I'll take a Timex for durability anytime.

I have had several over the years and have had good luck with them all. I prefer the adjustable bands over the leather ones, they hold up longer. My only real problem is getting replacement batteries and having them installed in the watch. Less and less places do this for you and it is extremely expensive to return the watches to Timex and wait for them to ship the watch back once the battery is installed. While waiting you are without your watch.

My husband wears a Timex and says it as good as the more expensive brands. If something does go wrong it's better to buy a new one than to have it fixed. That's what I had him do when he broke the crystal on his last watch.

I have had two Timex watches. They kept very accurate time and seemed to last forever. They weren't dress watches, just the everyday sort. And I could easily switch the bands to go with what I was wearing. I liked the big faces and real numbers with marks for each minute and minute hands. They each lasted 15 years or more.

I really appreciated the light up dial, especially if I was in a place with no bedroom clock. I always need to know the time when I wake up during the night.

I love Timex Watches. They are dependable and long lasting. I love that they are water proof and touch because when I put mine on I forget it's there and have done yard work and house cleaning with it on. I have owned one for years and would not hesitate to buy another.

Was years ago but still remember when I got my Timex watch. I was so proud of it. Kept perfect time up to the time someone stole it out of my locker while doing PE.

You must keep in mind that it's a Timex, not a Philippe Patek. I had some Timex watches that lasted decades. I'm not afraid to change my oil when I wear one. They keep decent time. I just wish they went back to mechanical and self-winding movements.

As a healthcare professional I have used Timex watches for years. They absolutely "take a lickin' and keep on ticking". I frequently bang my watch on beds and stretchers but my Timex still works.

Glad we bought the $5.00 extended warranty, as 5 of the Timex Watches failed - parts broke off and the 200 meter water resistant is a joke. Watch was only exposed to minimal surface water periodically. Timex Watches no longer take a licking and keep on ticking.

My ONLY complaint is about the knob, it tends to corrode and fell off making adjusting time or date very difficult. In all other respects I am very pleased with its durability, as a 'farmer' a watch MUST be able to handle wet, dust, etc.

Bought a Timex watch from Walmart. It cracked on the face within 2 months. Trouble getting an employee that can adjust the band to make it smaller. Batteries do not last very long.

I got it and used it everyday for years. It was water proof and I swam with it & showered with it. Also had the battery changed a couple times over the years that so had it along with the Crystal twice. It was a great watch.

I like Timex watches. They are affordable and perform well. They may not last forever, but they last long enough for the cost. There is a also a wide variety of styles, so I can change the look or purchase more than once.

Used it as my everyday nursing watch. It was always accurate and sturdy (nurses need dependable, accurate and sturdy- this watch was all three). Graduated as RN 1966 and used this watch through my years. Now retired but still have my initial Timex. Still works.

I wear these watches all the time. Through a 40 year career as a college football coach, they always held their own. My favorite and current one is the Iron Man Triathlon. Great for working out with countdown timer and stopwatch. 3 alarms + 2 time zones. Great watch for the price.

My first watch was a Timex that sadly took a bath the same night I had received it. Someone thought they would sneak it in my coat pocket and surprise me, however, what they didn't know is that I planned on washing it that night so the pockets had already been checked. Well yep it came out of the coat and was ruined. After finding out who gave it to me I felt bad and guilty so I went out and bought one identical to it. This was 30 years ago and I have wore one ever since.

I have owned more Timex than any other watch. When I go to buy a watch it's usually the brand I buy. I can't wear just any watch because they either quit working lose time. Most Timex are reasonably priced and waterproof. I forget to take them off in the shower. Timex also has a lot of different styles to chose from and prices, from very expensive to cheap and still look classy. Thank you Timex.

I buy only Timex watches and have been buying them for years. I am hard on watches and only Timex has withstood the abuse I put them thru. I'm always banging my watch on one thing or another, dropping them on hard flooring, etc. and they survive to tic another day. I've had them explode in pieces when dropped and I take the pieces to one of the watch kiosks in my local mall and have them put back together and they continue to do the job. Like John Cameron Swayze, said in his legendary commercials, It Takes A Licking And Keeps On Ticking. My watches are proof positive that they do just as John said. Where are you going to find a watch like Timex for $60 that goes on and on. You're not!
