I was required to purchase the Lifetime Warranty on four pieces of jewelry ($299 each) from Fred Meyer Jewelers. They closed the store and can not honor the warranty inspection. I have requested filled out a refund request and emailed it to them on two occasions. However, I have not heard back from them.

Upon all stores closing this company went downhill. It is embarrassment to the Kroger name. They took the band of my $4k bridal set and ruined it. They replaced my SI1-G diamonds for low quality inclusion and carbon filled crap. It is no longer a matching set. They offered me 50% refund on both my rings, I moved forward on the band and 2 months later asked to do the same on the 2nd ring and they told me to contact their legal team and hung up on me. Still waiting for a response. RUN from this place, DONT BUY ANYTHING!!!

I purchased my engagement ring through Littman Jewelers February of 2019 & my wedding band shortly after. I've had all the maintenance work done to it as directed. My store in Greensburg closed down at the end of 2020, so now I am forced to send my jewelry to Fred Meyer Jewelers. I sent it out February of 2022 to be inspected, only to have to turn around in May to send it back because there were diamonds that were loose. I didn't have any issues in February, however, this time around has been A NIGHTMARE. I sent it on May 26th, and it arrived the next day. On 6/8, they send me an email stating my rings are not under the "Lifetime Care Plan" even though I had two receipts that say otherwise. Needless to say, after 2 days of going back and forth with them, they "settled" with me and said they'll add it on the plan, even though It's on there.

Last week, 6/21, I contacted them to see how far along they've gotten, because at this point... I DON'T TRUST THEM! They tell me, "We were waiting on you to give us a card on file because you don't have lifetime care on it." We then "got it straightened" out again, with a million apologies and said my ring was going to be expedited to be done. Fast forward a week later- 6/27/22 and they're STILL telling me my ring has not had the work to it because they have to send me an estimate because again, I don't have a lifetime warranty plan. She then proceeds to tell me she's sorry and I can't talk to anyone else until they get her email because they work remotely now due to Covid. This company I feel is trying to scam people telling them they don't have this lifetime care plan to gain more money. This is sick. DO NOT buy jewelry from this company.

Have purchased most of my Wife’s rings at Fred Meyer Jewelry. Went into Fred Meyer Jewelry April 8th, 2022 with a ring didn’t buy there, with a 2 carat Diamond that I purchased for the 2nd time due to losing the first one. I wanted to surprise my wife with the new Diamond for Mother's Day. Just needed the new Diamond set. I was told that I would be getting a call within 1 week with the estimate and the expected date to have the ring back was 4/22/22. I have not received a single phone call or email from them since. I have called 4 times only to get a different story and was told 2 times by the person I talked to twice that they would personally look into it and would call me within 2 days that was 2 weeks ago.

I’m blown away. Here it is 5/21/22, 30 days past the day I was supposed to have her ring back and missed Mothers Day and still no nothing, no estimate, nothing. It’s like they don’t give a crap about you unless they are putting money in their own pockets with a purchase. I’ve spent 15,000 prior for rings. I will be going in there in the next 2 days and will be demanding my wife’s ring back. Never again will I ever step foot in Fred Meyer after this.

I purchased a Gents Citizen Eco with a blue face and white metal from Fred Meyer's in CDA Idaho. In less than a year the dial that controlled the action simply fell out. I returned it to Fred Meyer's and was told it would cost me $20 to return it to Citizen to see what the repairs would consist of. I asked if it was covered by Citizen for the repairs and was told NO even though it had only been 8 months and 3 days to be exact. Once it was sent in I received a phone call saying it would cost $375.00 to repair and Fred Meyer valued the watch at $290.00 even though I spent nearly $400 to purchase the watch from them. Check out the video of the final days of the watch on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and any other source I can display the video. DO NOT BUY FROM FRED MEYER JEWELERS OR CITIZEN IF YOU'D LIKE A QUALITY WATCH.

I have had my wedding ring for 2 years now and there has been 2 diamonds lost from it. I sent it in for inspection and 2nd missing diamond because they closed all their stores in Wichita and now i have to send it in. Anyhow, it had been gone for 3 weeks and I just got it back yesterday. They had sent it back to me with an additional diamond missing out of the ring. I told the customer service lady that I am extremely upset about this and I feel like they don't even inspect my ring at all. This is horrible. I love my ring and the way it looks but I almost wish we didn't get my ring from Fred Meyer.

I was assuming that I would end up having to mail it, and was disappointed that it ended up being the case. I got the email with QR code right away, but never the inspection form. I emailed back right away so we could send it right out, and still have yet to get this form. It's super annoying that something so simple isn't done yet. I hope that my ring will be taken care of like they did when they were local.

They have closed all their stores in my state, and I have been on hold numerous times, left numerous emails and tons of emails trying to get a shipping label for repairs and then now 3 weeks later still waiting on my ring to come back to me. The last time after holding to speak with a supervisor I was told there was nothing they could do. There is no reason that these warranty checks can't be done by a local jewelry store that they can contract with. The fact that they expect us to send our rings and valuables through the mail, even with it being fully insured, is absolutely unacceptable. I don't want to sell my wedding ring just so I can go to another jewelry store that's near me. That would probably break my heart. I will NEVER buy another thing from Fred Meyer. And I hope anyone else that is just as upset as I am never does either.

Who would ever be comfortable with mailing a $10k ring to God knows where? They should allow you to transfer your lifetime warranty package to a local jeweler or chain. When I was deciding to purchase the ring the sales associate NEVER informed me that because it was white gold versus titanium that I would have to pay $80.00 a year to have it re-dipped or it would start to discolor. I never would have purchased the ring if I had been informed that the ring would discolor on an annual basis.

Ringing up the new size and with warranty the total was 40.00 more. At 1st both associated disagreed until I show them with basic math. They put the information in the computer more than once and the 40.00 just magically appeared. They said we should buy the ring and when it was delivered to our home bring it back and they would refund the 40.00. No Thank you. Fred Meyer corporate employees are some of the biggest crooks you'll ever find. When Fred Meyer makes a mistake that costs you hundreds or thousands of dollars, they won't take responsibility. They screw up an order and leave us with damaged merchandise costing us many tens of thousands of dollars and they refuse to own up to their mistakes. Please don't shop at Fred Meyer. Don't support these crooks. There are other supermarkets that do treat their customers responsibly, kindly, and fairly. If you shop at Fred Meyer you are only supporting the bad guys that wrong customers and don't own up to their mistakes because all Fred Meyer and Kroger cares about is money. Dennis Gibson, Jeff Burt, and Lynn Gust, the presidents and leaders of Fred Meyer, and the rest of the corporate team at Fred Meyer are nothing, but crooks with no moral compass. I purchased a chocolate diamond Kallati ring with lifetime care plan. After wearing it for less than a month it lost a stone. It was sent to in store repair. Again losing 4 more stones in about two years (it was in for repair for at least 1/4 of the time owned). I attempted to return it after the second stone and was talked into having it repaired again. I believe this ring is defective. An $8000 + ring should not be losing stones. At what point is it deemed irreparable? It's lost 1/3 of the original stones. I wear numerous other rings and have not lost a stone. Fred Meyers Corporate Office said they would repair, replace it with the same or store credit. They are refusing a cash settlement which is an option on the lifetime care plan. Buyers beware. The lifetime care plan is not what they say it is.

After reading the plan I realize I have been led to believe they would back the product they sell. THEY DO NOT! The lifetime care plan is worthless! Barbara with corporate would not give me her Supervisors name saying I could call the corporate number and she would not put the offer in writing. This whole situation just makes me sick. I thought I was making an investment and now feel like this is the biggest financial mistake of my life. Sad that corporations abuse people and get away with it. I'm not done here. I'm getting professional advice at this point. Barbara told me my attorney could request information from her "team" of attorneys! WOW! Nice customer service. Sad that I did more business with them and referred customers to them. I would never make another purchase or refer anyone again. Really believe they need to be exposed.

I have purchased jewelry from Fred Meyers Jewelry in University Mall in Orem for years.. I have many beautiful pieces. I always buy the warranty package and I religiously take each piece in on a regular basis to be cleaned and checked. I took several diamond rings and a diamond pendant in last night to be checked and cleaned. The salesperson said that I had three little diamonds on the pendant that were loose, and 5 diamonds on one of my rings that were loose. She said we had purchased the warranty and the service package on the ring, but just the warranty on the pendant. And to tighten the prongs on the pendant (which takes all of 30 seconds) it would take 2 weeks and it would cost $25.00 for the first diamond and $10.00 for each additional diamond.

So, to tighten 3 little diamonds, it would cost $45.00 for three minutes of work. Seriously? Most other jewelers who are dealing with good customers would provide this service for free. Not Fred Meyers.. This is the first I've heard about a service package that wasn't included in the warranty.. Pretty pathetic.. They just lost a good customer.

Ring’s gone. Lost or stolen we don't know. The care plan from Littman won't cover it. They stated they will cover broken or lost diamonds of the same value. Well that's just it. This ring IS SOLID DIAMOND and over 1700$ a pop. I asked for the serial number and they told me there isn't one for the ring and I should make a claim on my homeowners ins...

I do a ton of research. I have not slept in a few days and I'm all the way stressed out. I want to file a police report to give to the local pawn shops and stores. This ring can't be found by metal detector so basically 2gs down the pot. I contacted Elysium for more information. What can I do? Surely I can’t just be out all this money after purchasing an additional care plan. I was. Each of these rings is given its own serial number, and the owner of the company is so upset at the Jewelers incompetence he makes it up to me. Buy this ring, but don't waste your hard earned cash on a useless warranty.

End of 2017 I bought my wedding ring for 0% interest for a year. My ex husband and I split and so they told me I could trade in my ring and start my no interest again for another year (I traded it in after 11 months). I just had to buy something double in price. I did not want to be stuck paying 29% interest on the last $1500 for a wedding ring so I traded it in for earrings. Here we are almost a year later and I have the money to pay it off. About $3300 but to my surprise I have been being charged interest on the $1500 for a year which comes to almost $1300!!!.

I call the bank, they say go to Fred Meyer and let them know the first transaction was cancelled. Fred Meyer cancelled it in their system but not for the credit card. To make matters worse they see the problem and the bank that took over Fred Meyer credit recently said they wont do anything bc when FM transferred their accounts to Synchrony from TDD or whatever the other credit holder was the issue was already present. FM is telling me they don't know if they will do anything, even thought they see on their computer in the store that it was indeed cancelled!!!! So I spent more money so that I wasn't stuck with a ring paying interest. But guess what not only am I stuck with $1300 of interest but also some very expensive jewelry I would not have bought had I known that I was going to pay interest anyways. I really hope they refund me. I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to...

If you are not 7, you get to either pay $80 for a resize or pay 10% of the ring price to sign up for the Lifetime Care Plan that covers free resizes.

I said to the saleswoman (and later to a sales manager in a different branch) that it is crazy and unheard of. Have poor credit? Not to worry. Fred Meyer Jewelers will help you get what you want by leasing it. And they’ll do it with a smile, while setting you up for a potentially exorbitant bill. The leasing program is offered by Progressive Leasing, which is owned by Aaron’s Inc. Sign up for one of its leases and you could be in big trouble.

When I was shopping at a Fred Meyer Jewelers store in Tigard, OR a salesman explained to me how the program works. Let’s say you want to get a $500 bracelet for your girlfriend. But you have poor or no credit and can’t qualify for one of Fred Meyer Jewelers’ regular credit cards. The salesperson may then offer you the lease option.

Under the lease option, you would have to make a $79 payment and then pay off the $500 with twice-a-month payments over 12 months. Sounds simple enough. But there’s a catch. If you don’t pay off the entire balance within 90 days, you will owe double the total amount you financed. That’s right double. In other words, if you don’t pay off the total balance on the $500 bracelet within 90 days, but stick with a 12-month plan, you will have paid $1079 for that bracelet when you’re done.

And the extra cost won’t be considered interest because the program technically isn’t offering loans. Based on online reviews by Progressive Leasing’s customers, an awful lot of them have been blindsided by misleading, incomplete or false information from a retailer or Progressive: Fred Meyer Jewelers’ promotion of the leasing option says “It’s a beautiful thing.” Clearly, that’s not always the case.

So anyway I bought a wedding ring and also got the extended warranty plan. We noticed that one of the diamond had fallen off of the ring. Since there were no stores in CA. I called the number that was on my warranty plan (1) call. They took all my info and said that they would send me the paperwork - that I would need to send in the ring for repair and that he would send it in and e-mail form that I should see it in a couple of day.

So 4 days went by. I called again and got another person and she also took my info and said the same thing that she would send an e-mail with the info I need to send in the ring again. Waited another 4 days. Called again and got another person (and all of this persons all had an accent so I ask the lady where was I calling and she told me that I was calling the Philippines) so I ask if she could give me the phone number to someone from Fred Meyer that I could talk to so she gave me the phone number and I called it with my surprise it was a number to a sex line.

So by this time I was pissed off. So I finally got a phone number to a Fred Meyer customer service and told her what had happen so she apologized and took my info like all the others and said the same thing - that she would send the info to me at my e-mail and that was 1 week ago.
