I bought a Tank extra large watch from them and they didn’t even registers me as a customer as I found out after 2 year of purchase. However I damaged my watch strap and wanted to replace it with bracelet which I paid $1000 and as it arrived I requested link to be readjusted. They never responded to me from Miami branch. I waited and called again. Tthis time Texas branch apologies to me and told me they will take care of it, I never heard from them again. In my opinion please keep Cartier in Europe only. USA don’t deserve this quality watch and also other European product as they are not suited for customer service. I will go to Europe and have my link repair when I leave. I don’t recommend USA Cartier to all USA Customers to buy in USA. Have a nice USA day.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!! I ordered a gift for my niece's sweet 16 the love ring and it came in a box that looked used and was ripped in 3 places. It DID NOT come gift wrapped as it was supposed to. I called asking for a new box and they would not send it. The customer service team is beyond incompetent. They put you on hold for 20 mins and come back to drop the call. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Now I have to present a gift to my niece for her 16th that looks used. DISGUSTING!!

Terrible recent experience with Cartier. REALLY SAD TO SEE THEM GO DOWNHILL SO BADLY. 2 situations in few few weeks show the decline of the "so called Ambassador service" at this Company. I was in Italy recently and wanted to buy something from Cartier store. They firstly made me wait outside the store (I was dressed in shorts and a tee shirt). Then another customer was allowed in straight away and they kept me outside!!!! Eventually they let me in and I was completely ignored for 15 Minutes. No one spoke to me or asked me anything at all despite me requesting help for buying a cartier item. I eventually complained to the staff who were dismissive. I sent a message to Cartier and received a "canned" reply. I returned home and sent 2 watches back to them for repair. Silence for many weeks and confusing emails after I called to ask what was going on. Spoke to someone there who eventually emailed me information then silence again ....

Emailed again. It was ignored. Emailed again. It was ignored. Called 3 more times because after sending me bills to pre pay (which were completely wrong) I spent 3 hours attempting to speak to someone to resolve the repairs and get my watches back. After more incorrect bills eventually spoke to them again and a senior person apologised and promised to confirm the free repair because they had messed up. She said she would email me and didn't. Then guess what? Another bill arrived. I'm completely fed up of this.

I recently ordered two pendants from Cartier online, and when the box arrived, it was completely empty. I immediately contacted Cartier customer relations and they opened an investigation. They told me they would get back to me within ten business days. They never got back to me, I had to reach out for the status of the investigation. The advice given to me was to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. I followed their advice and filed a dispute with American Express, only to later find out that Cartier had denied the claim, stating the items were delivered.

I had to reopen the dispute with Amex and, in parallel, pursue reimbursement through Amex’s insurance in order to get our money back. This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the high-priced items Cartier offers for delivery. It is unacceptable that there appears to be no follow-through or accountability when things go wrong during delivery. For a brand of Cartier’s stature, I expected far better customer service and resolution processes for such costly purchases.

I entrusted my Panthère de Cartier diamond bracelet for repair in April in Dallas store. A woman told me it would take 6-7 weeks. I kept waiting but received no contact, so I reached out again in mid-June. They not only hadn’t repaired my bracelet but weren’t even sure where it was, and it took them a long time to find it. Eventually, they got back to me (on 6/27) and said it would cost around $250 to fix it and that they would proceed if I agreed to pay. It took 7-8 weeks just to get this question, and I finally confirmed, but I still haven’t heard anything back.

During the same period, I entrusted Tiffany with a repair and a watch battery replacement. They kept me informed of every step via email, completed all the repairs already, and didn’t charge me anything because I’m a VIP. The customer care could not be more different. They sell expensive and precious jewelry, but customer care is incredibly cheap. This is about the Dallas boutique, and I have not received back my bracelet, which cost me almost over $60,000 including tax, for over three months.

I had a very strange experience at the Cartier store in Dallas Highland park village. I ordered a d'Amour bracelet and adjusted the size. I wanted a 1cm cut. However, after adjustment, my bracelet was too tight. The length of the original bracelet is 165mm to 185mm. After repair, my bracelet is 140mm to 160mm. It decreased by 2.5cm. So I inquired at the Cartier store in Dallas, but they said the size was wrong due to a mistake in the New York workshop. So I decided to get the size adjusted again.

A week later, they said the bracelet was fixed, so I went to pick it up. And when I got home and measured the size again, it was the same. My bracelet is still 140mm to 160mm. How can they give me a bracelet without any fixes? I picked up the bracelet without question because I trusted them. So I contacted Abbie and Andrew to help resolve this issue, but haven't heard anything. I have experienced many luxury brands over the years, but this is my first time experiencing a service like this. I am so angry and disappointed in Cartier.

Cartier Short Hills NJ sales help are unprofessional and lacking in customer service acumen. They are more interested in talking over customers than listening and trying to understand and help address customer concerns. Disappointing and frustrating experience for what is supposed to be a high-end customer experience. The Cartier brand in Short Hills NJ is scratched and tarnished.

My fiancé bought me a bracelet in the Boston store which I immediately knew was too big as soon as I put it on. I never wore it. I brought it to the Boca store to do an exchange. The salesperson said there were some small scratches but it didn’t seem like a big deal, however it was clear from the start that he didn’t want to deal with my return. He then told me to try it on next to my watch and diamond bracelets which became intertwined, inevitably scratching the Cartier bracelet. He gave me the hard sell convincing me to keep the size I had which I did. Although, as soon as I left the store I knew it was the wrong decision but I didn’t have time to go back. It’s the juste un clou and it’s so big that the head of the nail flips to the back of my wrist as soon as I move my arm. Any good salesperson would know this is not the right size for me.

I then took it to the Soho NY store (my local store) to return it and they said it is scratched and they cannot take it back. Of course none of the scratches are visible to the naked eye but if they are truly there then they were absolutely there at the time of purchase and were compounded by trying it on with my diamond bracelets at the direction of the salesperson in the Boca location. Despite Soho refusing to do an exchange, I tried on the smaller size bracelet in the boutique. The salesperson watched, and approved, as I tried it on next to my diamond bracelets.

The Cartier bracelet overlapped and became intertwined with my diamond ones which absolutely caused small scratches. This is what goes on all day long in their stores, customers try on different size pieces next to their existing jewelry inevitably causing scratches which Cartier then sells to other customers. When the customer tries to do a return, Cartier claims the customer scratched the piece and refuses to take it back. The manager at the Soho store promised to get back to me days ago with how they are going to handle this and not only did she never get in touch with me, she will not return my calls.

This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had at any retailer, jewelry or otherwise. Beware of buying Cartier. Also google other reviews. There are hundreds just like this one: complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, Trustpilot, Reddit, etc. This is a common practice for them. If you purchase from them make sure you buy the right size because they clearly do not honor their return policy. And never buy gifts from them because they seem to always claim the product is scratched when trying to do an exchange. If this happens to you my advice is to rip them apart with reviews every place you can including social media. And dispute the charge with your credit card company.

A watch that has been in my family for 30 years was in need of repair. I brought it in for servicing in July, spent a great deal of money to have it overhauled but they said it there was a two year warranty. Four months later, a link in the watchband came undone. Took it back to Cartier figuring they'd just snap it back but they told me the watch needed a full overhaul and a new watch band for $3300. When I questioned the overhaul, they did say that was a mistake as I just had that done but the watch band couldn't be repaired as they don't "support" that band any longer (evidently they've taken pathway of technology to squeeze clients out of more money). I asked what would a new watchband do to the value of the watch. They didn't know. I asked if there were more cost effective watchbands. They said no. They said they send me picture of the band so that I could make an informed choice as to whether or not to replace it.

I waited a month and never got the photos so I went to the boutique on 5th Avenue in NYC and asked for my watch back. They told directed me to a waiting where I sat for 40 minutes. I went returned to reception to ask when I'd get my watch and was told an advisor would see me next. I went back to sit down and three other people were called in before me. I asked reception why other clients were called before me and she rudely told me that they are here for different services. I was there to pick up a watch! Evidently, no one could just go to the back room and get it for me. I was rudely told that I had to wait for an advisor (just to get what was mine! They did no work on it!). I finally said, I need to leave. Send me my watch to my home so I don't have to come all the way back here. They agreed to do that.

As I walked out, I asked the greeter at the door if I could get the email address for the Manager of the store to drop him/her a line about my experience. She said I had to go back to the 4th floor to get that. I told her I just spent 40 minutes up there and I'd prefer not to go back; could she make an exception? She rudely told me no. I called the next day to find out when I could expect my watch. They told me they'd check and get back to me. I got an email saying the watchband would cost $3300. I don't want the watchband! I want the watch. I can't get the watch at the boutique and they aren't sending it to me. I feel like Cartier is holding my watch hostage until I pay them for a new watchband, which I don't want...at least not from them! My cousin is a publicist. I may ask her to start an online "Free My Watch" campaign. I will never shop at Cartier ever again.
