We were looking for a young dog, not a puppy, and found the perfect one on the puppyfind.com site. It took about three months but it worked. A search function for older dogs would have been helpful but looking at a bunch of cute puppies isn't all bad either.

You can add the "mini or standard or micro" in the puppy name!!!! This is a very aggravating. Lack of description that should be in the sale ad. There should be a template that everybody can fill out. Thanks!

My wife and I decided to sell a very young puppy. We tried local sites but found none willing to carry pet for sale ads. So, I went looking for somewhere else to find a buyer. I came across PuppyFind.com and looked around their site. It seemed legit but I had not done a deep research on them. I had not upgraded when I first entered information and a picture of the puppy.
Then, after being told how many views just one photo had, I figured I would give them one month to see if they could really bring us a buyer whom we felt was going to love that puppy and treat him well. We had three bites in less than two weeks. The first two fell through but the third was an excellent family that knew and loved animals. They drove up with their two little children, fell in love with our Golden Retriever puppy and paid us what we were asking. Based on our experience, I would feel confident to suggest to a friend that this site will be totally satisfying. From the first posting to the sale was less than three weeks. Five Stars!

I listed two puppies for sale and one sold very quickly and the second one sold a couple weeks later. I was kept informed on how many people saw my listing and could edit if need be. Very easy site to use and always kept informed. I would highly recommend this site and will use again if the opportunity arises.

I want all potential buyers out there to NEVER buy a puppy from Leroy Mast in Apple Creek, Ohio! During our conversations in email Leroy told me they weren't breeders and the puppy was an inside dog and was great with other dogs! That was my biggest concern because I have 2 other dogs and wanted to make sure the puppy would be fine with them. Definitely not the case! I have emailed and called Leroy and still haven't had a response! This all has happened in the past 48hrs. This seller is a fraud and should be shut down because these puppies are not taken care of whatsoever! I hope Puppyfind blocks and shuts down this seller! The amount of cruelty this seller puts these puppies through is inexcusable! Again don't buy from Leroy Mast from Apple Creek, Ohio! I have all email proof that every word they said was a lie!

I've been searching and searching for another Pekapoo for months. I lost my first Pekapoo after 17 years. I wasn't sure if I even wanted another puppy or dog because the heartache was so overwhelming. Then a few people said ”there’s another dog out there looking for love”. I tried shelters and rescues but I never got ”That feeling” so thanks to PUPPYFIND.COM I started looking at peekapoos again.
Only a couple of people got back to me. Until, Shelly had her peeks on site. I fell in love with a special little boy named ”Dasher” and took another shot. She got back to me and since I live in Las Vegas, the prices were so outrageous that I could never afford another. Turns out she is actually coming to Vegas for the Rodeo and I'm meeting her at the airport with my 8 week old peek-a-boo. If it wasn't for your site sending me pictures of peekapoos when they came in, I would never have received pics or where else to start. So thank you PUPPYFIND.COM for helping me find my new baby!!

I have bought 2 dogs off Puppyfind.com. The first one almost 15 years ago was a chinese crested. Got exactly what I paid for. I did the purchase over the telephone. I also bought a fully trained police dog over the telephone. Both dogs were shipped and exactly as advertised. I would use this service again. First dog was a 3000 dollar show dog. 2nd dog was a 6000 trained import police dog. So, I spent a lot of money and I am still happy with my purchase. Got all papers on both dogs, got 2 healthy dogs and one was perfectly trained.

I was looking at a corgi named Layla and happened to get a call back from Kameron with Puppy find. I explained my previous Corgi had been diagnosed with DM. A degenerative disease causing her to lose use of her hind legs. I wanted to see if the breeder would do this test before I purchased her. First the breeder agreed then he said no then kameron said if I put a deposit down then after the test came in if she was positive I could get my deposit back. I asked kameron how I would verify the test results were done he then said there would be no test. So he lied to me again. I was upset and he didn't care I was going to report this injustice. I caution anyone dealing with kameron of puppyfind to rethink your purchase. I am going directly through a reputable breeder now. Thank you.

Puppyfind.com was well put together so you could look at the breed you were interested in or if you wanted a certain location to look in. With them you did not have to go back and forth to different websites that some I found did. It was easy to contact the people that had the puppy through Puppyfind. They were very professional, kind and answered all questions. Now thanks to Puppyfind we have a new baby girl and are having so much fun and she has helped heal the hole in my heart after losing my big girl. THANK YOU PUPPYFIND.

I lost my pug who was my best friend, I was devastated looking everywhere for a pug puppy. I came across a listing in my city and said why not. If I find a pup there would be no transport problems, I have read horror stories about transportation problems so that was out of the question. I contacted a few sellers. Left my number. 3 out of 4 never called back but the one that did was awesome. She explained everything. Asked me plenty of question, I asked her plenty of questions and she was so nice, she went slow so I could write everything down. I am a senior and disabled and was really scared of getting a new fur kid. Could I handle it? She explained that the pups she showed me were extremely hyper but she had one from a different litter that was less excited and I fell in love. That's the one for me. I just knew that was the one. Was looking for a Puppy for the wife and family. Puppyfind.com was one of the website that Google led me to when I searched for "Puppies for Sale Florida" so it looked all legitimate. We reached out to some people on the website for information on their puppies. Within a day or two I had some email conversations going on. One in particular sent me a lengthy email that had a lot of specific information in it, including price of the deposit, where the puppies were located (Branford, Florida), and the specific process. And at the bottom of the email it said "I’m sorry for the quick information, I am driving" - I found it funny that such a detailed email would have an apology like that. I emailed this particular person back and forth and they didn’t provide any additional pictures of the puppy other than what was on the website. They did push quite hard about the Nonrefundable Deposit of $500.00.
This person was one of three people we were conversing with back and forth. We asked "May we arrange to meet the puppy prior to putting a deposit down?" and it was going to be a two and a half hour drive one way. No response since that email. Once I emailed them again I got my emails returned to me as "deliverable" and the phone number they gave me wasn’t in service. And just to see, we googled the address, which turned out to be a grocery store. Clearly we dodged a bullet. It is obvious that puppyfind.com does not verify anything on their website.
IF you plan on using this website, do everything in your power to verify that the person you are dealing with is legitimate. There are a lot of scammers out there, and I am sure there are scammers on this particular website. Thankfully we did NOT get scammed, and we are currently working with a breeder that we have spoken to in person and met with to verify that they are doing the right thing - for the record, the person we are working with we found through Facebook. DO YOUR RESEARCH ESPECIALLY WITH THIS WEBSITE.

I SELL PUPPIES AND I HAD MY INFO SCAMMED 4 TIMES IN JUST 3 WEEKS. PuppyFind cannot help you from being scammed. Somebody got my info and erased all my puppies I had and put "Frenchies for sale. $1,000.00 including shipping." They kept my phone number and name. The only thing I can think of was they said that they had a partner. So if you sent a check they would have you make it out to them, instead of the person on PuppyFind. Be careful. I pay for an upgrade, but PuppyFind did not offer to even give me a discount or help me relist my puppies. I have been using PuppyFind for over 10 years. I will be canceling, there is a lot of other sites and they don't even charge.
Hello,
It's unfortunate a scammer was able to get into your account. They usually get your login information through phishing emails. If a scammer was able to get back into your account when your password had been changed then they had access through your email. Scammers make things frustrating for sure. The system does not archive deleted listings so we would not be able to reinstate them if they were removed unfortunately. Hopefully the issue has been resolved and you give us another try.

We set up an meeting to meet the girl yorkie we seen listed. Once arrived it was like a match made in heaven. Not only were the breeder was nice and friendly we found our new addition.
But that's not all... I love the puppies so much I was really wanting 2 of them. Not knowing the breeder had a male that wasn't listed he mentioned he had one more but was on the listing. I told him I was interested and wanted both. He gladly sold me her brother!!!! So now I have 2 of the cutest brother and sister yorkies. They are perfect loving and playful dogs. I purchased a puppy from a breeder 2/2019. I had to struggle to get info from them and complained to Puppyfind. They said write a review. I pointed out the breeder did not have current listing (so writing a review would not be possible). They said “you can take legal action”. Right! Legal action is not cheap or easy when you don’t have $$$. After I received the “Norwich” pup I had concerns about the purity of her breed. The breeder said he had 3 females and 1 male. At the suggestion of a pet “worker” I got a DNA test kit. The results came back 42+% Cairn, 35% Norwich, the remainder was Schnauzer & Westie. I sent the breeder the results via delivery proofed mail in 2 ways giving them 10 days to give a satisfactory resolution. This breeder is now using the name of York Avenue Breeders. He replied 11 days later via email giving many claims why the DNA and I were wrong but never offering to take the pup back. I filed a dispute with PayPal. I supplied them with DNA results, the listing and all correspondence. They gave the guy 10 days to reply back but then said they did not get what they needed. They refunded my money.
This AM my review has apparently deleted. (It was on the site but Puppyfind never contacted me to ask me about it.) Puppyfind bends over backwards for breeders because they have to pay to list but buyers don’t have to pay. This breeder is using 1 stud for 3 females. If his stud in not purebred Norwich none of his dogs are purebred. Puppyfind said in their response to another reviewer that the breeders can’t remove negative reviews but I guess Puppyfind does it for them.

Do not Trust These Breeders! Maryetta & Chris **!!! They are selling Siberian Huskies & German Shepard!!!! I recently bought a husky puppy March 16 from Maryetta ** & Chris ** using the Puppyfind.com website. Once I brought the puppy home there have been a lot of health issues with the husky puppy, she ate so much as if she wouldn't get another meal. I have taken her to my vet and the ER. She is very ill, very small and underweight for her age. She has Giardia, anemia and is having nonstop seizures.
I have contacted the breeder but they claim the puppy was healthy the whole time prior to being bought. Many tests were taken within 4 days of having her, and the bill has reached $1,200 for everything. Breeder is willing to take back puppy but does not want to take her medicine that she needs saying that we should keep it because it's our money and I'm worried he or she will not give her the help she needs. Instead I can only assume he will end her life since nonstop vet expenses wouldn't end if I returned her to them. And my puppy has to continue testing and is prescribed another antibiotic that should help with distemper, toxins etc.
Obviously she wasn't given any vaccines since she has parasites. And we have no clue why she has seizures. And her condition is very rare for her age. She shouldn't be suffering this much. Chris has stopped responding to me and will not send vet records from when they owned her. I have contacted a Representative at Raven's Husky Haven and Rescue center and they have informed me that this breeder has many complaints against them and that they are a puppy mill. It's easy for breeders to fake papers! Please I would like to warn people that they do not have the best interest in their customers or their puppies. My poor puppy was not taken care of as stated on their page. I was mislead and I have vet records of everything that has happened with my Siberian husky. Going to report them to AKC and Animal Control.

We went back on Puppyfind a month ago to choose our second Maltipoo puppy because it's a great breed, this one came from a different breeder because we wanted a specific color chocolate.
We paid $1,200 for the puppy and the breeder had the puppy delivered here to Massachusetts where we live and we paid for the puppy when we received it. All worked out great. No problems. I did run into a scammer on Puppyfind but I knew right away that it was a scammer because they asked me to Western Union money. Real dog breeders do not get paid through Western Union or MoneyGram. I had never heard of Puppyfind until about 2 months ago. Now I don't know how I could search for a puppy without looking to Puppyfind first. In Northeast AL I felt a lil limited to breeds that I was able to find. I had several in mind. Goldendoodle, labradoodle for sure which are easier to find. But the Biewer Terriers, Party Yorkies, Cockapoos not so much. I looked all over the south & esp for Old English Sheepdogs & Sheepadoodles. I found a few breeders here & there but they were a tad out of my price range or long wait to get a puppy. Even glanced thru Craigslist but couldn't find what I really wanted.
I come across Puppyfind & a couple others. Puppyfind was the one I kept coming back to. So many breeds! So many options & wide range of prices. It was overwhelming to say the least. However as much as I wanted several dif breeds I couldn't walk away from the old English sheepdog I had searched far & wide for. I found 12 pages of listings. I finally found a 7 wk old boy from Cindy Lawrence. I messaged her on a Saturday & she got right back in touch. She held the pup for me until Mon. when I could send deposit. He was 7 wks old so I had to wait to have him flown from Illinois to me in Alabama. We spoke almost daily. I had never sent so much money over the internet not seeing the pup in person & having it shipped on top of that. She made things so easy, so nice, answered all questions, sent pics of my boy & parents, etc. Even spent plenty of days with easy going conversation like id known her forever. I couldn't have been more comfortable.
Today is Fri Mar 15, 2019 7 days after we first spoke & I picked up my OES today at the airport! 8 wks old exactly. He is so clean, all paperwork was with him & then some. First shots, etc. I'll be taking him to the vet for his next round of shots. But so far so GREAT! He's perfect! Plus there's a health guarantee. I'll be keeping in touch with his breeder. I can't believe how easy this has been & how comfortable Cindy made this experience and shipping was $300. Cheaper than I thought. I know this is long. I know there's still scams all over. Trust your gut feelings! Ask questions, talk on phone, & watch out for multi breed listings, fine print & have fun! I'll definitely be looking to Puppyfind for my future pets first to see what they have to offer. It's a great option to say the least. Thanks. Stacey

This is by far the best way to find and purchase a puppy/dog. You can search by the breed you are looking for and the state so you can look close to you or further for more choices. That being said people you do have to use COMMON SENSE, ask a lot of questions, how the animal was raised, look at the seller's listings to see how many puppies they have up for sale and have sold. Ask for the dogs medical history, especially if an adult dog, ask if the dog has behavior issues and see the dog in person before you finish payment. Sadly there are some unscrupulous people out there. But for us, looking for a puppy it's the best bulletin board of listings that give you lots of choices, you just then need to do your homework and make sure it's not a puppy mill where they sell 100s of puppies.

I did all that and they put my account back to normal. BUT! On Jan 23rd, they again blocked my account for using photos from another source, but this time they just deregistered my account without giving me any details or a chance to prove myself.
With all the information that I gave to them, they still do this to legit breeders like me. Even though I email them back, all they would do is send me a copy and pasted reply and now they won't even reply back. The staff that I talked to his name was 'Brian', Super rude. Also Brian told me in the email when I clarified my photos and listings this, "it is never our intention of legitimate accounts like yours to be inconvenienced." and yet they have not once, but twice.

I used the full membership option where I was charged only $19.99 for a month. Potential owners could see my puppies with photos and all the necessary information to make a wise choice. It only took one month to sell my Goldendoodle puppies. I have used Puppyfind.com for years and have always sold ALL of my puppies through this one site. The great advantage over other sites is that folks can search by state.

I bought a Portuguese Waterdog from a one time breeder in 8-18. I really should have done my research better. It could of saved my family a whole lot of pain. I thought because my breeder was on the AKC marketplace and was not having any more liters she’s definitely not a puppy mill so it was safe. She was great to work with, super nice but now that I look back I should have found a more experienced breeder. We had a fabulous 2 1/2 months with our gorgeous fun loving girl before she became suddenly sick. She was diagnosed with multiple liver shunts which is a genetic disease. Hers were so bad that surgery was not a good option. Her chances were slim. I had to make a horrible decision but it was the only one. My vet said this often occurs when dogs are inbred.
I looked at my AKC paperwork - her father was also her great grandfather. Also I contacted the breeder because the entire liter is at risk and all the dogs need to be checked for this. I did not have any pet guarantee - my mistake for sure! I am in the process of purchasing another PWD thru Puppyfind. However with a legitimate breeder. I also found out that a true breeder can show you the genealogy that they are not inbred and will also health test on both the sire and dam. The new breeder is providing me with a 2 year pet guarantee. There are good breeders on Puppyfind but don’t fall in love with one and think all is fine without research! My girl was only 4 1/2 months old - never had a chance at life from the beginning!

She came via Ozark Jet a Pet (who were also wonderful) to Ontario, CA Airport. We live in Lake Arrowhead, CA and she is safe and sound and more than we could have expected. I adopted a puppy that I found on puppyfind.com. Turned out that the seller was not a breeder but a boutique puppy in NY. I originally sent an e-mail to the website to find out if they only support private breeder. I made them aware of my experience, as well as informing them that based on my research it looks like my puppy came from a puppy mill. They informed me that without a police report/investigation I cannot make these statements.
I went on the sellers listing two weeks after I adopted my puppy and couldn't believe that they had the same puppy, same pictures and name posted for sale except that they changed the date of birth. So I wrote a negative review about the seller for "Buyers Beware." In my review I wrote that these are not a private breeder but rather a pet store in NY. I also put in my review that both the puppy I adopted and the puppy my mom adopted were still up for sale except with changes in date of birth.
Puppyfind.com took down my review. They did not contact me for supportive evidence which I have not only the paperwork , bill of sale, place of birth but I also have the pictures on my phone from the original posting. I went to check today both my review and the listing is down. But the seller still has other dogs posted as well as the one my mom "supposedly adopted". This is not transparency to the public. If puppyfind.com states that they are just a bulletin site for breeders they should take the time to look into complaints and negative reviews especially when they stated they only support private breeders. I am so disappointed, we used the site 3 times prior in my family to and never had this experience but I will never use this site again!!! Shame on them.

When I provided proof of my review, Puppyfind.com sided with the disgusting breeder. Puppyfind.com should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen on their site. The breeder I reviewed has since gone through a name and location change, and is at it again! When I left another review, warning others of this, my review was removed without any mention to me. Today I received an e-mail from them stating 11 prospective puppy buyers viewed my listings & were unable to contact me because of my membership status and told me to upgrade my account to make my information freely available to the next 11 puppy buyers. They also ignored my request to explain the difference between paying $19.99 per month and $29.99 per month. I wouldn't list a puppy with them now for free.
Hello, Please contact support@puppyfind.com to get your account sorted out and to make sure no one else has access to your account. The only way to post a listing is to log into your seller account with your email and password. The memberships are explained on the Membership tab. The $29.99 membership is a 30 day upgrade that cancels itself, and the $19.99 membership is a recurring billing membership that bills you every month until you cancel on the Membership tab. The one I had questioned them about had had numerous complaints against him, and yet, they refuse to ban him unless he is actually convicted. Puppyfind is in litigation now for various reasons. BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT purchase a puppy from anyone where you can not see at least one of the parents. Anyone selling multiple breeds is probably brokering for puppy mills.

I purchased a puppy through PuppyFind from a lady named Laura **. I purchased a toy Yorkie on a Friday and the dog passed on Saturday. I contacted the lady and told her the symptoms the dog was having because they didn't sound good so I asked, “Should I carry it to the vet.” She said no and assured me the dog was fine that was Saturday morning at 10am dog was dead hours later. Laura will not give my money or replace the dog. She had blocked me from calling and texting her. I put up a review about what happened. She had PuppyFind remove it. Of course they did saying I need vet reports. Hell the dog died.
I purchased the dog for my 4yr old B-Day. She been wanting a puppy for a year so I saved and spent a $1000 on a dog which I'm out of. I told my baby the puppy was sad and missed his family. I didn't have the guts to tell her it passed. Now I have a depressed 4yr old who says she misses him so much. He was the best but she just don't want him to be sad. You know how heartbreaking it is to watch your child be depressed and crying over the only gift she wanted. She chose the puppy over Disney World and the beach. Laura is not the definition of a true breeder because she should have made this right. I texted her with dog symptoms.
Three different vets said the symptoms were not that of low blood sugar like Laura once say. The vets said they would have bet all money it was parvo. The puppy had eating and plus I had given him the glucose meds. The dog wouldn't stand, eat, or drink. It was having bowel movements in his sleep and I told her all this and she assured me he was fine not to carry him to the vet. It breaks my heart that she would do this to a 4yr old. Puppy Find people need to know how unethical and what type of person they are dealing with. She should not be able to remove my review because she don't like it. She needs to make it right. I'm in the process of caring Laura ** of Mt Brook Al to court.

My chihuahuas recently had a litter of babies. 6 little girls. We were overwhelmed with the idea that we would have to part with them, but we knew we couldn’t handle 8 dogs in one house. I looked to do local ads like Craigslist but I didn’t want to have to deal with random phone calls from people that may not be truly invested in the search for their new “family member”. That’s where Puppyfind.com came in. I set up a profile for free and was able to compare prices that others were asking for. One of the big differences with this service is that you are required to pay to get details of the seller. This just makes sense.
When I was contacted by a couple of people, I could tell they were truly interested and for the right reasons. They had some “skin in the game". I decided to pay for their premium service. Best move by far. Within three weeks, we were able to rehome 4 of the 6 puppies. We couldn’t bear to let them all go. I spoke with all 4 families prior to meeting. It was great to learn about them and what they were looking for in a puppy. We even had a couple drive more than 6 hours one way to meet and make a connection with one of our babies. I had a very negative experience with a seller on Puppyfind.com and wrote a negative review. Puppyfind.com will take down the review at the request of the seller if you cannot prove it under their "unique" terms. So if you spoke on the phone with the seller and they blatantly lie to you about the facts about your product/puppy and you get the puppy and it is not as described. Guess what. Your review isn't valid because you can't provide proof the seller was dishonest. Did you record your conversation? Probably not. I get Puppyfind is just providing extra protection for wrongful accusations, but it is truly a broken system for honest buyers who were scammed in this way. Just because you can't prove it, didn't mean the trespass didn't happen. That's the sad truth. But that's just one aspect.
Let's get down to my exact situation. My complaint was that the seller lied about the puppy's current weight and provided proof via text message to Puppyfind. Puppyfind argues that the contract says weight can't be guaranteed, but failed to see that exact quote is weight can't be guaranteed when "fully grown." Even when this was pointed out, it was totally disregarded. I am buying a teacup puppy, so current weight is very important in order to predict adult weight. Seller has verbalized in person and over the phone, has implied via text and possibly outdated photos, and listed a dishonest current weight (which is also called a "charting weight"). I know this because when I got the puppy, I weighed her and she was way more than what the seller had told me.
Somehow, Puppyfind has mental-gymnastics its way to protect the seller by repeating that the contracts says no weight guaranteed. Again, it says "no weight guaranteed at fully grown." But here's the thing, the magic of it all is that ANYBODY can guarantee a current weight. You can step on a scale and it gives you a very specific number - not a range, not a question mark, not a number with fine print that says not guaranteed. My negative review was based on a lie of the current weight, which only helps to predict an adult weight. Obviously, a lower current weight means a lower adult weight. So seller advertised a lower current weight so she can sell a heavier puppy as a teacup for more money.
Also another complaint was delayed shipping. Seller (and proven via text message) told me puppy will ship in a couple of days or a little longer than a week. 3 weeks later, I chose to fly in to pick up the puppy myself because it was now going to take 4 weeks (maybe longer at that rate) and will cost me an additional $269 on top of the $450 shipping price. Puppyfind says I wasn't forced to fly. Um.. excuse me? But was I not forced to wait longer than promised and was I not asked to pay more money? Does that not warrant a negative review? What is with the mental-gymnastics over at Puppyfind.com? It is unfathomable. I'm at my wit's end so I'm here where there is no conflict in interest.
Funny part is that I am not asking for a refund. There are no refunds via this seller (even if she lied). I am merely leaving an honest review because it was a bad buying experience. She has my money, but just let me warn future customers that they could potentially be lied to and possibly delayed shipping, lying about birthdate (can't prove this one because listing has been deleted but if happened), etc. Why is that impossible on this website? Again, the 1 star review is for a broken review system. And also for the mental-gymnastics. Can't reason with the unreasonable. But I just had an epiphany while writing my distress call here. I believe I can get a statement from a 3rd party via records that seller had been lying all along about weight. Truth prevails. Wish me luck!
We appreciate your comments. Your recommendations will be taken into consideration for future site improvements. We do allow sellers to dispute reviews they feel are invalid, but if supporting documentation is provided the review may be reinstated. Most complaint sites don't verify information so you never know if it is valid. PuppyFind wants negative statements to be verified so consumers know it has been validated. Again, thank you for your comments. PuppyFind.com Support

2 years ago we got a German Shepherd puppy from Susie. At the time they were 5 weeks old so we went and looked at the puppies available. We found one and placed our deposit. We also asked to see the parents who were on site and in the process saw several other dogs in their brewing family. All were in excellent condition and well loved. 3 weeks later we went and picked up our puppy. She provided us with treats, food and a blanket as well as wipes in case he got carried sick. Last week, we decided we wanted to add to our family and found they had a 5 month old female available, we called Susie and picked up our new puppy on Saturday. Both dogs are such amazing, smart dogs and were very well cared for before we picked them up.
Susie and her family also attend training courses and go to breeder conventions. They are AKC certified to sell puppies and truly care about the health of all their puppies. They keep pictures albums of all the pictures they received from their extended dog families and love getting updates of their puppies. I highly recommend Susie and her puppies. They will answer any and all questions you have for them and we will definitely go back to her a third time for a puppy. They also breed Golden Retrievers and Golden Doodles I believe. Definitely worth the 4-5 hour round trip for her puppies!

I was looking for a reputable breeder of quality Pekingese puppies, when I met Nancy I knew I came to the right place! She is knowledgeable, kind and above all honest!!!! No fake dogs here. Just a lot of spoiled home raised puppies who are housebroken and socialized. I drove from Atlanta, Georgia to Caddo Mills, Texas and it was worth every mile!!! I have a beautiful black Peke female puppy named Stella for star AKC and took in a stud male Duke who is gentle and good as gold. They socialized so easily with my dogs I was amazed. If you want a good puppy for a fair price come visit Ms. Nancy. She's the best on Puppyfind.com.

I found the website easy to use and reliable breeders on it when looking for my puppy. Wasn't a fan of having to pay for more information on some of the listings at first, but it did help immensely once I gained access to more detailed information. Once I found my puppy and let them know I didn't need to stay on the upgraded list - they immediately canceled my subscription. And I'm happy to say, the breeder I bought from was great and easy to do business with! I plan on letting my friends looking for puppies know about the website!

I was able to find my PERFECT puppy only 3 hour drive from me instead of a 3 hour flight. I visited my new family member today and I am so excited, I can barely stand it! This is my picture bonding with my new girl. She is only 5 weeks old so I am not able to bring her home yet... but on March 4th I will get to bring her home with me. The breeder (Henderson Haven LLC) is fabulous and accommodating in letting me visit with her at this young age and to get to visit with her mom. They have instructed me on all the things I need to do to keep my new little girl safe when I take her home also. Thank you for your PuppyFind.com website... bringing people together with their new 4-legged family members!

I've spent days fighting to get my review reinstated, and it's nothing but delays. Seller sold us a Pom, claiming CKC registered. Picked puppy up, seller claimed she can't register the dog, that it would be in her name and she would contact CKC the next day. I didn't get a response the next day, then the seller ignored my text and calls. I had to spend hours researching this seller and the different sites she had been selling same dogs on to find in comments other names she had gone by. I called the sheriff's office but could not file charges without a name. I had videoed live on my cell when I met her, but messed up not getting her tag number. She signed my Vet Health papers with a different name that was on the site. After digging and texting the names, I came across a review that showed another name. For information purposes only, first name was always same, just 3 different last names.
After I text her the name I found on the old review she all of a sudden responded, and said she'd give my money back if I bought the dog back when she got back in a few days. That's nice that she would give me my money back after driving that far and had a Vet bill already paid since the dog had severe diarrhea and showed minor signs of dehydration. The Forest City police department made contact with her to verify her name, and to avoid possible fraud charges offered a refund.
PuppyFind was notified about all these, and I sent in screenshots of the sell, and her signed receipt for bill of health. They did make her take down the registered part, but allowed her to advertise as usual, and still approving my review. She has already sold another Pom, and guess what, as soon as it was gone she dropped the ad. So people are getting ripped off being told these are registered Poms. We had a friend inquire about one of the remaining Poms, she just claimed she left that out of the ad by mistake but it's a CKC Pom.
Major issue is fraud sellers, sell their dog, go and delete ad so people cant leave their feedback, 2nd issue is even when proven seller did wrong, it's a delayed process where they still are selling. I don't understand why PuppyFind doesn't take this serious and find better ways to handle. Once a purchase is proven that review should be put back immediately. Mine was on hold again since I made a remark about the dog's health issue that would be checked into. All I can say is buyer beware, sellers here can apparently learn their system enough to avoid negative feedback in full by deleting the ads before the buyer even gets home. Even with evidence it's so delayed, the seller has the chance to sell remaining puppies before other victims are aware of what's going on.

I purchased a Frenchton from Greatshire Kennels in Nov, 2016. Lucy did very well for almost the first year, then in late Aug 2017, 2 weeks before her 1st birthday she woke up in excruciating pain and could not walk. I rushed her to my vet, and he referred me to a Neurologist, where after doing an MRI and CT scan she was diagnosed with Hemivertebrae with scoliosis, Stenosis of the vertebral canal, deformation of the spinal cord and disk degeneration. I was informed by the Neurologist that all of these conditions could be hereditary. I contacted Lisa and let her know and asked her to please have the parents checked through her vet. She stated she would do this immediately and let me know, this was in early Sept. 2017. I tried emailing her several times, but no response.
Finally In Jan 2018 she contacted me only because she saw the review I left on Puppyfind. After another couple of weeks she finally sent me xrays of the parents but no report from the vet of the findings and I have asked for it numerous times. What good are xrays with no report from the vet? It horrifies me to think that the dogs she’s breeding may have one or all of these conditions and yet she continues to breed them. Any one of these conditions alone are horrible, imagine being an 11 month old puppy and having them all! My Lucy is permanently disabled, she wears a brace to support her spine and will be on steroids along with other meds the rest of her life.
I am sharing my experience because I want this stopped and I don’t want to see any more puppies or parents go thru the hell we have been and continue to go thru. My review has been removed from Puppyfind and below is the reply I received from them as to why. I have proven my puppy has possible hereditary conditions. My vet report says “consistent with congenital anomalies”. Shouldn’t it be up to the seller now to prove to them that her dogs do not? Unbelievable!!!
"Without documentation showing that the condition is hereditary and that the seller should take responsibility for the illness, we cannot post your review. If the seller ends up providing you with documents showing the condition was hereditary then you can send them in and we will reopen the case. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me."

I've been advertising on Puppyfind for 5 years. My experience overall is pretty good. The only thing I cannot stand about Puppyfind... When someone post a review, there's no email sent stating that a review was posted. It's not like I check my reviews on the hour. Someone that DID NOT purchase a dog from me posted a review saying that I was a scammer... After about 2 or 3 days of not getting any emails from buyers, I checked my reviews and seen it. Puppyfind deleted it right away because I didn't even sell that person a dog. But it sat there for days without me knowing. I like the fact that if you did not purchase a dog from the breeder you are not allowed to post a review. I like the fact that when people do post reviews the review only gets to stay if everything they said is true and they have proof. Puppyfind should set up their system where an email goes out to the breeder if a review is left due to people leaving false or fake reviews.

Once narrowed, I could view age, sex, and price all at once, which is nice. The breeder that we finally located could not have been nicer and the puppy's parents were well-tempered with health checks. We are happy with our sweet (now) 11-week-old puppy. Thanks, PuppyFind!

The site is user friendly and they are very careful about the breeders that use the site. They even have dogs for adoptions. They have many breeds, even some of the rarer ones. I would definitely use this site if you want a purebred dog. There's a large price range on them and most of the breeders guarantee the health of the puppies. I haven't picked Rascal up yet but will soon and I can't wait.

Hello, We are happy that you were able to find a puppy each time you have used the site. Reviews are visible if the buyer or the seller has paid for a membership. We had a wonderful experience with PuppyFind.com. I have read that others have had problems which is really sad. Last month we had a Shih Tzu that we had bought locally in UT and the people sold her at 6 weeks. We only had her for a week and took her to the vet and then to 2 different hospitals (one was a specialty hospital). It turns out she had a birth defect so we had to put her down. We were so sad.
So this time we found our little Mia through PuppyFind and called Allen ** in GA. He had a litter of Mal-shi's that he had bred. He knew a lot about breeding and the need to have a healthy line all the way down. He owned both of Mia's parents, they are both papered. I didn't realize there were so many problems if the breeder doesn't know what he is doing. When I first talked to Allen the puppies were 4 weeks old. I sent him a money order for the deposit. He sent pics of our little Mia each week for 4 weeks till we got her. He started to acclimate her to the crate and going for rides in the car a while before he sent her. He explained about sending her on the airline. She arrived in perfect condition last Wednesday at the SLC airport. We are thrilled to have her.

Purchased Brando from panoplypoodles as a companion to my 2 year old poodle acquired there 2 years ago. Brando was described in writing by seller as "big, sweet... gentle giant... calm... laid-back... sold as a pet only... a perfect fit" for my 2YO poodle and me. Seller's son delivered him for a healthy fee. Brando had been acquired by seller in an exchange w/ a Montana breeder for her breeding program. Since he had "turned in eyelids" (a genetic trait) that required surgery, seller decided NOT to breed him. She stated in a phone conversation that "no one had been interested in buying him" so he was now actually 9 1/2 months old, not 8 as described. I trusted her judgment as I had had a great experience in the first purchase 2 years ago.
After the son and dog were 1 hour into the 5 hour trip, she phoned and mentioned that "he's not good on a leash... he MIGHT budge a little." She also informed me that he had "razor burn" from grooming and "spots where he and "Cash" [her current sire] played rough this morning." These "spots" turned out to be bite marks on his rump. The razor burn was a large area around his right eye that had been shaved far too closely for comfort! I later attributed the razor burn and bite marks to difficulty she had in last minute preparations of Brando for sale: first ever and yet a major grooming plus medications for fleas!
When Brando was delivered, he would not leave the son's car so the son had to physically remove him. Right! He would NOT even budge on a leash! It took both of us to get him into the house and crated, which I felt unable to do alone after the son left. After 3 hours of trying to calm the dog with gentle talk and scratching his head through the crate (I rightly presumed him to be upset after the relocation), I managed to get him out the door for a potty break I knew he needed (he would not go while the son was still here!). I had to move him by literally picking up one foot at a time and moving it forward! I had put a new collar with a lead on since the son took the lead that he used to transport Brando. It WAS a correction collar, but I had failed to connect the links properly so it fell apart shortly after I got Brando outside. He BOLTED!
He was never "corrected" or challenged by this collar! Up and down the streets he ran, eventually into the fenced backyard of a neighbor. There, when my neighbors and I were trying to get hold of him to put on another lead, he grazed one neighbor, snapped at another and succeeded in biting me! Since we could not get him to come and I had a badly injured and bloody hand, we called Animal Services who captured and took Brando.
The Officer tried without success every trick he knew to get him to come but finally had to use the catch pole. Brando tried to bite the Officer. While the Officer was processing the report, I heard over speakerphone the A.S. Supervisor tell the Officer that Alabama Law required the animal be euthanized... no exceptions! Next day, the Officer called and said the Houston County Health Dept Rabies Board would make a final decision. While the A.S. Officer was still with me, the seller returned my call and I informed her what had happened. The dog's papers went with the dog to A.S.
The seller wrote that she would be happy to refund my money, given the circumstances. I DID require medical care and am still recovering, following wound cleansing, tetanus shot, antibiotics shots on 2 occasions and oral antibiotics. To make a longer story short, I kept the seller informed of each step in the saga. I learned today that she was allowed by Houston Co. Health Dept to retrieve the dog earlier this week. However, she now is apparently intent on keeping the dog AND my money, claiming that this sweet, "innocent" dog was maltreated by me in 3 short, crated hours. Frankly, it seems in retrospect, that she seriously MISREPRESENTED and pushed off on me a dog that she had been unable to sell and who was completely unprepared for being sold. True, he may have been calm in HER setting, his comfort zone. Sorry this is long. It's just an overview.
Honestly, my first experience with a real panoplypoodle PUPPY (14 weeks) was fine, and she has other new standard puppies listed now on Puppyfind. Just be cautious about panoplypoodles. She has now apparently decided to dishonor her promised refund. I have received an email making weird accusations against me by distorting a small element of actuality into statements bearing no semblance of truth; moreover, she promises to "never allow" me to buy another one of her poodles! (Really!!! Like I would now want to???)
I presume she is feeling 1) a little greedy/needy about the money and 2) a little guilty about what she put this dog through by pretending he was ready to be snatched away with zero preparation from his attachment to HER and the security of his "home" at her kennel. I really wanted the dog she DESCRIBED. Instead, I got a terrified dog that went on the lam at the first possibility and went straight to aggression, his only known defense. I felt sorry for the poor dog but I also suffered a vicious bite and am very thankful it wasn't any worse! She has never once inquired about my healing or said "sorry." The bottom photo below is the one with his listing, the middle is the photo on his arrival, and the top is my bitten hand. Seller described the dog as between 70 and 80 lbs. A lot of dog to have been so unhappily UNprepared for being sold as a "perfect fit" pet!

I lost my 14.5 liver spotted female Dalmatian named Rosie eight years ago breaking my heart from her devastating loss. She and I were partners in all things but she was so sick at the end, I had to let her go. I have never recovered from her departure but promised to find another baby Dal one day, hoping to find my Rosie again.
Each day, I checked the Puppy Find website, looking for a baby Dal, possible unwanted, but healthy and a female. I found one for 550, Mar 2016, at reasonable price plus additional shipping and handling with all shots. The pup's future owner didn't claim her so the breeder listed her for sale on Puppy Find. She was a beautiful black & white Dalmatian of 14 weeks old. The breeder - Dawn ** was also included on the ONLINE APPROVED "DALMATIANS BREEDERS LIST" for Texas. She also used PayPal. Another level of protection from fraudulent crooks who are looking for cash up front without a guarantee. I called the breeder and we both asked each other many questions. Satisfied by our conversation, we set a delivery date. She arrived 25 Mar 2016 and very fussy from traveling eight hours. Phone conversations are important. They tell you a lot.
I have had Dolly for a year and she is a wonderful, healthy, happy, devoted Dalmatian who has enhanced or lives with joy and her silly quiet beauty. But as she was the youngest of my doggie family (four adopted street rescues who are 8 years old now) so I had to find her a friend. In Dec 22, 2017, I completed this process again, with another breeder in Idaho named Kim **, receiving a little boy, who was also 14 weeks old and the last of the litter, as a playmate for my female Dalmatian, Dolly.
This was a smooth transaction also. She is a dedicated breeder, in touch weekly for the last 7 mos of Winston's life. Using Puppy Find, phone calls, PayPal and documents, while exchanging many questions, we have acquired with both pups (health guarantees cert for two year) on both my Dalmatians. Winston has been a handful but the bond for my two Dalmatians has quickly become a inseparable life long bond for the pair. "They can't be without each other."
The last question I asked the breeders was "Will you take them back if my life changes." The answer was YES! A clear indication of a devoted breeder whose job is to ensure the welfare of their puppies, no matter what age they reach. I couldn't personally pick out my puppy but with great breeders they can match you with the right personality, ensuring a lifelong friendship and companionship, sharing with you life's daily adventures. Thank you for the chance to praise those breeders who give families pets full of love, adventure and pups that touch so many hearts and minds of those around us.

They ended every email with a 'religious verse'... SO BEWARE!!!! I wasn't going to let one person ruin my desire to add a furry friend to our family -- You live & learn, right?
2 days after I was SCAMMED -- once they got the money they cut off all communication, wouldn't answer emails --- so I turned to PUPPYFIND (my son & daughter have both purchased their 2 dogs off this same site). I found the puppy I was looking for. Called telephone # listed and spoke with owner/breeder of the puppy, and was invited to see the puppy (was an hour away) that same day!!
The rest is history. I'll be getting my puppy soon, once ready to separate!! Some puppies on Puppyfind.com have link. You have to 'upgrade' to see 'information ' on the puppy. DON'T DO IT. Those can take you to scammers. Stick to puppies advertised on site that have all contact #'s you need! Beware of those asking you to 'upgrade or 'joining free membership'... don't do it!! It cost me, don't make same mistake I did! Happy, SAFE HUNTING!

Puppyfind.com is not a secured website with real dog breeders. It is linked to fake websites and is a way for dog lovers to be easily scammed. For consumers out there please watch out and do not click on a website that says Maltipoo Puppy Farm. This is a fake website and the pictures of the puppies that they have displayed do not exist. They only collect their money by Western Union and no legit business conducts any transactions this way. Don't get fooled and trust this website.
No one will answer any of the phone numbers that they have displayed online. They have it set up to take messages and the scammer will only text you back because they have a very heavy accent and they also put dollar signs behind the price for example (400$). I really feel that Puppyfind.com should pay back the customers who has been scammed out of money and take the responsibility to crack down on these crooks. They should clean up their mess for all of the customers who just wanted a precious puppy to add to their family but instead losing their hard earned money by these scammers.

I received horrible news from my vet last week about my favorite Great Pyrenees, Krystal. She was limping, so I took her in to see what was going on with her left hind leg. My vet told me she had cancer in her soft tissue throughout her leg. Prognosis: Gone within 3 months??? Heartbroken, I returned home with her, and began my search. First, for a possible cure. Secondly, for a replacement puppy that needed me as much as I needed him or her! Adoption was an option, but only one young enough to be accepted by of my girls. They are aggressive towards large dogs that could threaten my Fainting Goats. I found a 12 week old puppy on your site, big beautiful boy, named "Tank" that was described as "homeless". He was a big, white, fluff-ball! I fell in love at first sight!
I contacted the person that ran the ad, and she was the breeder that sold him to her neighbor. He was the largest of the litter, and his adoption price was only $150! She filled me in on the details, got my phone number for his current owner to call me by the next day (which he did). I will be leaving from Dunnellon, FL tonight, at 3am for my 500+ miles to pick up my new puppy, YAYYY!!?? My hope is for a Happily Ever after in his new forever home! She asked us to wire money to her bank and when that didn't work she asked us to send a cashier's check by the next morning so she could put the puppy on the plane with her sister who was a pet nanny. We gave her the money and no puppy showed up. We went back to Puppyfind.com and noticed she listed the puppies again with a different phone number. Puppyfind.com has banned her from their website. I have never had a puppy and was a little nervous about the process of getting one. I found Vicky's Toy Puppies on Puppyfind.com. I emailed Vicky late at night looking for a puppy, and she got back with me first thing in the morning at 7:30 am with a text to call anytime. I called her back right away. She was very informative and friendly. Since she was all the way in TX and I in MI I told her my concerns about shipping the puppy. She let me know everything I needed to know about shipping and only ships when the puppy is safe to fly at 9 weeks.
Vicky was a text and phone call away every time I had a question or concern. She told me the flight arrangements, when she and the puppy were on their way, and still stayed in contact the whole time until I got my puppy. The poodle puppy was so healthy and level headed. When I took her to the vet even they were surprised. I still ask Vicky questions about the pup, and she is always there with an answer. Vicky is an excellent breeder. I would recommend her to anyone, and I found her through Puppyfind.com.

I was able to track new litters across the country easily, every day, in my mailbox. Pictures of the dog or its dam and sire are there, as well as the location of the kennel. Two criticisms: locations of the kennels are not on the splash screens and require another step in the process, the search algorithm should allow searching by state or region. Instead every choice is dumped into a single result basket. But a terrific service. I'll use it there next time I go puppy hunting.

They remove all bad reviews. State you cant write your personal opinion or experience with the seller because it's not documented. So I can't write poor communication but if it was a good review I'm allowed to say great communication. I showed this site proof that that dog was given to me unhealthy. The vet bill dated the day I obtained my dog, and they still removed my post documented or not even after they told me I could resubmit the bad reviews and only state he was sick.
This is bad for buyers because they can write themselves great reviews using different accounts they can create in 5 min but any bad review they request to be taken off and Puppyfind always does and it gives buyers a false sense of them as a seller. Their explanation was it was to stop others breeders from writing false bad reviews to bash them. I told them "all you have to do is ask for proof of the sale therefore that absolves that problem." Because they delete all bad reviews many sick dogs or scammers are getting money through this site. Puppyfind should be ashamed of themselves. There's a special place in hell for them.
Hello,
Thank you for your comments regarding the review system on our site. Your feedback is important to us and will be taken into consideration for future site improvements.
Usually whatever is stated on the vet report can be included in the review if the dates show the seller would be responsible for the problems.
Hopefully your dog is now healthy, happy and doing well.

I found a corgi online thru puppyfind.com. The seller was Charlotte ** from Dayton, TN. I contacted her via text to ask a few questions and how to get ahold on a puppy. She explained that I would need to get a cashier's check or money order, take a picture and send it to her. She would hold the puppy and when she received the check she would remove the listing. I complied with what she required. Then a week after I sent my check to her I touched base to see if she had received it. This was the response I received: "I'm going to send it back. You said that you had one in the mail before and I didn't get it. So I lost a sale by waiting on you. I Don't want your money and you're not going to get my dog!"
I was completely confused by this and called her thinking for sure she had me confused with someone else as I had sent the check exactly when I said I had. She proceeded to be very rude and combative on the phone insisting she "lost a sale" because of me. I don't understand how she thought she lost a sale when I was the sale. Delusional I guess.
After we hung up the texts commenced at which time I told her I would write a nice review for her on puppyfind (I did but apparently sellers can have those removed at their request...Doesn't really help the buyer). She apparently wanted the check overnighted to her. Direct quote from text "Knock yourself out. If you wanted it that bad you should have overnighted the check. That's what most of my smart clients do that really want them." There was no communication whatsoever regarding a timeline on when she got the check. If you want to be treated poorly and possibly have a puppy ripped away from you then charlotte ** is the breeder for you. If not, I would look elsewhere.
Hello, I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with this seller. This is the site all of us dog breeders use. Breeders buy and sell on this site and I have made many friends around the county this way. If a scammer lists a puppy, and it is oh so easy to tell, a seller can hit a Scam Alert tab and Puppyfind will pull the ad and investigate. They also will prevent the scammer from sending out any more emails at that point. How do you know a scam when you see one. "If it is too good to be true, it usually isn't true." The scammer lists puppies and shipping at a very low price and when you check out the seller's other puppies, it will be a puppy of many of the popular breeds. Puppyfind also has tips to help you avoid being scammed. And when you buy a puppy you can leave a review of the breeder on Puppyfind.

I took her to the vet and she was given medication and IV. She died in my daughter’s arms 36 hours after arriving. I have had two vets tell me that she was sick when she was sent including the vet that tested her after her death. He advised she had the parvovirus and it was extremely severe also that she hadn't had the necessary shots to protect her. She was exposed to the virus 3-10 days prior to becoming sick. Which means the virus is on the breeder’s property. The virus remains active in the ground for at least a year and can remain in home on surfaces for up to 7 months. The breeder refuses to take responsibility for the puppy being sick instead blaming the ride on the airplane. Riding on an airplane doesn't cause parvo.
Hello,
We are so sorry for your loss. It is terrible to lose a puppy to sickness. PuppyFind.com is a bulletin board service so we do not get involved in the transaction between you and the seller, but you do have the option to leave a review on the seller's account regarding your purchase, and if they did not keep their contract then you always have the option to pursue legal action against them.

This was a fantastic website and I found about 12-15 puppies that I was close to getting but I had to have a 4 dimension search. You can also use the filters on the website to reduce your choices. My best advice was if you are fairly sure you have found your new puppy contact the breeder immediately. That contact might just put you first in line. I missed out on 3 different puppies by minutes in one case and an hour or two on 2 others. I had a 4 way decision to make. I was in Delaware at my parents house while recovering from my 8th spine surgery in Baltimore. My home is in Florida about 70 miles south of Tampa on the Gulf Sun Coast. I was ready to get home after being away 5+ months. I think that my 4 way search, or just 3, for most new dog owners decisions will help others using Puppy Find.
My previous Yellow Lab went to the Bridge after a very fast battle against cancer found just weeks before I lost her. She had just turned 6 years old and was finally becoming a calmer dog and understood what was required of her all the time. My 4 requirements. Sex: I wanted a female but her color didn't matter at all. Yellow, Black or Chocolate Lab. Female dogs always seem to be picked out first. So I thought the male to female ratio was 65 to 35%. Owners pick their new puppies sex based on many facts, ideas or research. The most important decision a responsible new pet owner is to have their dog fixed. Picking a female so you or your children can see your own dog have puppies are fools.
Cost: Many puppies and some grown dogs and breeding females were well over my budgeted amount by thousands of dollars. But at the same time there were hundreds of puppies below my budget. Puppy find was able to offer thousands of labs for me to choose from. Age in weeks when I would be picking her up: I wanted to breathe puppy breath and see her grow overnight which I have smelled and seen. A puppy between 7-14 or 16 weeks develops, grows and begins to understand home life during this time. I was able to pick up my female puppy between 7 and 8 weeks. It's just like a baby between 8-16 months how much they grow and learn. She is a baby and is no longer with her mother and litter mates. I am now the alpha master in her life.
The new dog parent learns and teaches their new puppies needs during this time. It is a hard time on the owner but also the most important and is so fun watching them figure out the small things. Like holding an ice cube, watching that a tennis ball bounces and can be thrown by me or her, understanding what she must do to get her crunchers. Just about everything in her life is NEW and NO. Puppyfind.com was able to provide more than enough dogs that matched my time line.
The only thing that I thought was not right was that people were putting dogs up for sale who were unborn. You the buyer are taking a chance when you put down a deposit based on past litters and the males and females who have had prior litters. This is part of most peoples 3 way decision. It was getting close to seeing unborn puppies that were to be ready for Christmas. Other than putting up unborn puppies I thought that PuppyFind.com is just about the best puppy finding internet site.
Puppy Find is not just for labs. There are about a hundred other breeds but I only cared about Labs. Getting a puppy at or around or for Christmas is most likely an emotional decision. I think some breeders were raising their cost for puppies to be picked up at Christmas time. Deciding to get a puppy then is kind of like getting a rabbit at Easter. You must be sure as this is a 15 year decision. 4th and last for me was distance. I was going from Coastal Delaware to Emporia, Va then on I-95 to NC border, down 95 to Daytona Beach, Florida thru Orlando and south at Tampa on 75 to Sarasota County. My search outputs along the routes I was traveling again allowed me to make many choices that fit into my search. There were lots of puppies within my choice of 75 miles off 95 or most of the state of Florida. I had to deal with the remnants of Hurricane Matthew while picking her up in Central North Carolina.
It all worked out just about perfectly finally picking her, Cubby, up after taking a 90 minute detour around flooded roads, downed trees, traffic lights with no power and police direction. Cubby is doing great and she may be my last puppy as I am now 55 years old. She is a smart happy puppy, who learns with my teaching, something brand new everyday and we also have made some mistakes but she is working out just great.. You must always remember that all puppies ONLY DO ABOUT 4 or 5 THINGS. Eat, Sleep, Play, Pee and Poop. You need to take them back outside after playing for 20 minutes as they might have only peed when you first went out and forgot to pee again. A puppy has an attention span of about 20 seconds at most. That is it.
When we first got to Florida, her ears were hitting the grass which was becoming a scratching problem. About 5 or 6 days later she had grown enough that her ears no longer touched the grass. Then 5 days later the grass had grown and again she was touching the wet grass with her ears. Then overnight she grew again and her ears are done touching the grass and driving her nuts. Puppy Find was a great help and I could not have gotten so many choices anywhere else on the internet. Trust me I tried. I spent about 4 weeks trying to find a dog on the internet on my own before I really settled in with Puppy Find. Some of my other searches put me on the websites and dogs that were from stores and I know I was on a few puppy mills. But I knew that at Puppy Find I would be OK.

The basic search lists all the puppies available nationwide. Good for reference of prices. They also have a location search that allows you to see the puppies in your state or any other state you wish. The best part is you can request updates of new puppies as they are listed but from that you have to sort by state as a second step. At every turn - they were reassuring and also responded to our concerns with emails confirming the legitimacy of their sale.
After almost 24 hours - they have now extorted $600 for the sale and $1200 for insurance of the shipping. There is no puppy and now we receive another request for an additional $950 for permit ..... or the animal will be quarantined. This is a HORRIBLE scam and shameful that they would go so far to mislead people genuinely interested in buying a quality pet. Puppyfind was so easy to use and increased advertising worldwide. I will use Puppyfind for her next litter. The families who found our pups on Puppyfind were all so grateful. They text me with updated pictures and "lab reports"!

When I push favorites it sometimes doesn't show all of my added favorites. Sometimes it will show one puppy with its name when I have picked a different favorite. It will show two different names with the not picked puppy. Also when I email a breeder they will respond with a different name than the name given under the puppy description (very confusing). Also you should make it so that when a breeder responds about a puppy the exact puppy they are responding to should have a link to take me to the exact puppy they are talking about.
Hello, Thank you for your suggestions. They will be taken into consideration for future site improvements. If the seller removes the listing it will fall out of your Favorites list. I bought a puppy from Mike/Frank and Sophia ** that was listed on Puppyfind.com. Noted it stated healthy puppies, listed with AKC. In my research, this puppy that was 2 months has been listed for four years with them. My puppy died the day after I got it. If anyone does some research on websites, this puppy has been sold several times and everyone that purchase the puppy, they have died within 2 week period. This is a scam. The puppy's name listed on website is Pink Liliac. Do not buy anything from them. I tried calling, sending messages and they will return any calls.

My experience using PuppyFind was a good one. Breeder got back to me within 24 hrs. We were able to see our new little man the same night. The puppies were not only exceptionally clean, they were already potty trained (pad), and well adjusted. Her home was clean and beautiful and you could clearly see that she not only does this for the money. She truly loved each puppy and asked many questions to ensure that they were going to good homes. Additionally, she provided you with new toys, as well as some with the mothers scent - which proved to be a soothing for him during his transition into his new home. It's been about 2 weeks and he has adjusted very nicely and I believe 100% this was due to the breeder and all the time she took with each dog. I would recommend PuppyFind to anyone looking for a new addition.

I had a very good experience using PuppyFind.com to choose a new puppy to add to our family. Our beloved 15 1/2 year old dog passed away on the first day of spring. The loss of a pet is just awful. Life is less joyful without a dog in it. Both our family dogs had been "rescue" mixed breed puppies and turned out to be wonderful, loving dogs. Acquiring a rescue puppy has become much more of an ordeal than it used to be and quite costly. This led me to begin considering a puppy from a breeder. Through PuppyFind.com I was able to learn about different breeds and once we settled on a breed to locate a breeder.
Long story short we have a great puppy in our family now. It was important to me to avoid shipping my new puppy so I zoned in on breeders within driving distance of my home. I found a breeder who was a great match for me. We spoke on the phone initially and I felt very comfortable with the breeder. Though she was located a day's driving distance from me, it was far enough that I couldn't make arrangements to see the puppies in person prior to choosing my puppy. Instead we did a SKYPE encounter and I fell in love with the puppy I picked. My breeder kept us updated with photos and videos of my puppy as he grew. He is a terrific puppy and I am extremely satisfied with my experience using PuppyFind.com.

After looking at reviews and the scams people were getting I was really interested but when I saw a picture of a staffie I just knew she was the one. When we called John he was an older man, really nice and we were suspicious when he said he Not good at technology and can't send too many photos. We did some research, called the vet, found him on Facebook, etc. We went with the deal. Sent the money and was waiting for our puppy to arrive as he shipped her from Baltimore and we live in Vancouver, Canada. We went to the airport and picked her up and she was more than perfect. She is now 8 months old and healthy, happy and my best friend. I know there are scammers out there so people to do your research but there also good people out there. We are soo happy with our dog.

I was in search of a yellow lab puppy as close to brand new as possible and I found just that. There was a few situations that seemed a little bit unsecured, such as people shipping a dog I had never seen and expecting a large deposit. However I found a man who was selling a puppy relatively close to my home. Little did I know this particular puppy was a yellow lab with a little bit of golden retriever mixed. Her coat was a lovely shade of cinnamon (gold/brown) and light yellow. She has a pink nose and green eyes. She's so responsive and well mannered. She's just what our family needed. I don't know the name of the man who sold us the puppy but he did say he also breeds another type of dogs in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. I would definitely refer any person to the website and even more so to this particular breeder.

Puppyfind initially suspended her account and a day later let the scumbag sell my puppies. I also must add that they allow the seller to take down negative reviews as I put one up to warn people and it was taken down right away... This is sad. My explanation was they do not get involved in 3rd party disputes however their contract states they can at their discretion so with an attorney letter and a woman who all over the internet has crappy reviews at candycoated doxie.com. How do you allow only the fake positive ones on your site to deceive buyers... They do it for their 20$ a month and it's sad and misleading. I will never list another dog with them again.
Hello, It is unfortunate that you are having a dispute with another seller on the site. All attorney letters are reviewed by the sites legal counsel before any action is taken on a member’s account. We do allow sellers to dispute reviews they feel are invalid. If the buyer is unable to provide supporting documentation to support the statements in the review then it cannot be posted. Experienced the same thing as many others are stating. Bought a Purebred Chinese Shar-Pei pup, traveled hundreds of miles from home to meet a wonderfully reviewed seller, who promised a lifetime health guarantee provided you brought the pup to your vet within 2 days, when I did, we found out he had fleas and roundworm. The seller was a guy named Mike **, and his sister Sophia ** from Collierville, TN. They never answer the phone or messages. I guess the health guarantee is out of the question, not even sure they gave the pup the shots they said.
I left a review on Puppyfind.com and it was immediately taken down because it was deemed invalid. Tried to register the pup with the AKC paper I was given but it must be fake because there is no registration number for the pup. The site's number is real, but probably not their dog, the dam's number is fake. Puppyfind is on the side of the seller, they don't care at all about the puppies or the buyers. I have been trying to deal with a representative from them but she pretty much told me I'm a liar.
Hello, I'm sorry that you did not have a good experience with the seller you contacted. PuppyFind.com is a bulletin board service and is only meant to be a means of contact. If I need to ask a question, I get immediate friendly feedback from them and I do not feel like a "number". Nice in this day and age to get what you pay for.
I highly recommend them. They have great discount price for people who advertise regularly and a one month only ad is reasonable as well. FORGET using the classified newspaper- you will get a much better response using Puppyfind and you will have saved A LOT of money as newspaper ads are ridiculous! The site features easy to navigate ad set ups and easy picture uploading. I'm not a big computer whiz and I can fly through deleting and adding to whatever I have online. A+++

We bought a Toy Shar pei from a breeder in Puppyfind last March 7, 2016. They posted a "rare silver blue" toy Shar pei but brought us a fawn colored one claiming it is how the silver blue looks. The pup was a bit scrawny and smelly. The breeder said she bathe him with baby shampoo. Not wanting to go home empty handed after driving 650 miles from Texas to Memphis TN and disappoint our kids who have waited so long for one we settled for the pup. When feeding time came it would not eat the dog food the breeders claimed it was fed. So late in the evening we had to buy puppy milk. Now he eats puppy food smoothie.
We brought him to the vet last Monday and thankfully he is healthy except for the flea infestation and a healed incision that was possibly from neutering which we weren't made aware of. We called "Mike" the breeder's brother who is the contact person but he was no longer taking our calls. We were given AKC papers that says the breeder is Ms. Sophia **. But I guess that too is no guarantee that they are reputable just because they AKC members. I will contact AKC and check if they are even legit.
Levi is now a happy puppy, gaining weight, and getting more active each day. We are relieved that he is healthy for now at least. But the health guarantee of no amyloidosis that Mike said will just have to stand the test if time. Anyway, I check the Puppyfind website a couple of days ago and was flabbergasted to find that Toy Brock, "rare silver blue" Shar pei who we adopted on the 7th was still posted for sale and already 10 weeks old. The reviews for this seller were all glowing and mostly recent (we believed it).
I posted a negative review yesterday and it was taken down by this morning. It was too late when my husband found out from this site the negative reviews for the Puppyfind website. I have emailed their customer support and like Pilate they have washed their hands. I expect fairness for the part of the buyers. We don't expect to get compensation after we were defrauded from this good faith transaction but we should at least be allowed to leave a fair and honest review which this website seem to consistently deny the buyers.
Hello,
We are glad you have a happy healthy puppy even though it wasn't the color you had anticipated getting from the seller. We aren't seeing a listing for the photo that you are referring to on the seller's account at this time.

My daughters have wanted a puppy for their entire lives and I would not allow it. After 7 years of their pleading I finally said yes. We found the Havanese breed perfect for us. We started looking for a puppy and liked Connie-61 by the breeder Loving Care Kennel Bev **. We contacted her and she said she was healthy and had all of her shots. She had really cute pictures and she was supposedly registered in America's Pet Registry. After several weeks of talking with her we bought the puppy. Being the first time we had ever bought a puppy we did not know that the breeder had to send us a contract before purchasing the puppy. We changed the name of the puppy to Bali.
On April 20th we picked her up from the airport. On April 21st a vet came and did a check up on Bali. He took Bali and they had tests done on her for parasites. The results was that she was full of parasites TOXOCARA. Until today May 1 she is still with the vet in a Puppy Hospital because she needs medicine to survive. She is very weak because her stomach is full of parasites and swollen.
We wanted a second opinion so we called another vet and he said the same thing and said that her problem was started in her hometown and that they probably did not give her anti-parasite shots because all of her digestive system was full of parasites. Obviously, this problem did not start on the day she spent with us at home. We contacted Bev and we told her the situation and her response was that Bali was healthy. We contact her a second time and we sent pictures of Bali at the hospital and pictures of the poo that was full of blood and parasites and she still has not answered.
As you should know, we are very sad and disappointed because as a first dog the experience should be good not bad and the puppy should be sold only if the breeder is sure that it is healthy. You can probably feel my daughters' pain because after 7 years of asking for a dog they finally got one and could only spend one day with her before she was taken away. Until now we are not a 100% sure that Bali will survive and my daughters are obviously devastated, and of course the money this problem costs is not low. I already spent more money trying to save Bali than the money she cost to buy. What should we do? Breeder won't answer.

I had done extensive research into finding a breeder for a male morkie. I paid to have a profile listed through Puppyfind.com (this was my first mistake). I had several email, text, and phone conversations with this family breeder whom contacted me after viewing my ad. After agreeing to the set price and shipping costs etc. I submitted my deposit and final payment via Paypal. Upon arrival to the airport I immediately noticed it was not the dog advertised and paid for by me so I contacted the breeder. She stated that the airline attendants must have mixed up the kennels and sent the dogs to different places and she would contact them immediately to find out what happened.
I received word back that my dog was with a family in florida and I had theirs. She was "unable" to reach the family in Florida whom surprisingly had no idea they received a much different dog. She said if both parties were okay with the other dog then we could keep the ones we got... I took the puppy to the vet the following day, found the puppy was not in fact the advertised 9 weeks old but was 4-5 weeks of age and was incredibly sick, and stressed from being taken from the mother. After three days in and out of the vet for various reasons, the puppy seemed to be doing slightly better. Throughout this I was trying to contact the breeder. After several nasty voice mails out of frustration, she replied and told me that her puppies were not 4-5 weeks so I needed to send her a photo.
Upon receiving the photo, the story changed to "Oh. That isn't a dog from my litter, this is from a friends litter who just got married and I did a favor for her by selling this puppy, but I had no idea he was so young and know nothing about the puppy because I only had him in my possession for 24 hours." She told me she would refund $750 for the cost difference in litters and for the trouble. She has since gone silent. I am assuming from the sick malnourished and flea ridden state the puppy came in, this is a backyard or puppy mill situation. She is either a middleman or breeding in unsafe conditions. Do Not purchase from her and I would highly recommend using another way of finding a breeder since Puppyfind.com cares only for the price these fake breeders pay to advertise.

I've sold 3 puppies on Puppyfind in 6 weeks along with numerous other interested parties all from Puppyfind.com. The membership is easy to sign up and easy to cancel which is always a bonus.

First I would just like to thank puppyfind.com for allowing us to use their site. We are registered with the APBR and abide strictly by their guidelines when it comes to selling our pups. We are trying to bring back a good name for our breed and Puppyfind.com has allowed us to do so by them postng the listings of our pups. We have had buyers from NJ, Boston, PA, GA, and we had a couple drive from MO and from NY to pick up their new companions for life. From birth until the time they leave us to go to their new homes we give them lots of love and attention and do our best to socialize our babies with people as well as other animals when they are old enough to be around such. We also have made some friends in this process. We have kept in touch with our babies new owners and plan to continue to keep up with the growth of them. Puppyfind.com has been the best and we plan to use their site in the future for the sales of our puppies. Thank you again Puppyfind.com for allowing our success to happen!!!

We had a very similar experience with a woman named Sophia from Corona, CA. Her phone number was **. We met at a neutral location and bought the puppy on the spot. We were told the dog was a mini Australian Shepherd and it turned out to be a small breed mix, likely a Maltipoo. When questioned, she wouldn't return our phone calls. This woman is clearly running a scam and potentially running a puppy mill.

We found a beautiful labradoodle on puppyfind. The breeder seemed legit. Good reviews. This breeder was Ellis. In South Carolina. There were some red flags. Like he insisted on having 1100 cash before he would ship the dog. We refused until we spoke with references mainly the vet. Also he was difficult to reach at times. The vet did give him a good reference so we proceeded with the sale. The day before shipping we found out the dog had a major problem with his bite. We still agreed to the sale but insisted on a discount. Done.
The puppy arrived clean, healthy and on time. He was screened by our vet and got a clean bill of health. But problems started shortly after that. The puppy was not socialized properly and began nipping and chasing our son. We had to surrender him to rescue. The puppy really should have stayed with his mother for several more weeks. So in the end a good breeder will not give you a puppy before 12 or even 16 weeks. Will insist on references from you. Will be hesitant to ship a puppy. Etc... Listen to your gut and pay attention to red flags.

I had a bad experience with Puppyfind myself. Our pup had "cherry eye" and the breeder who was really short with us, refused to pay for the surgery to repair it even though we had the ol' "one year guarantee." I decided to do more research on the kennel and after deep digging realized the kennel wasn't initially found because the owners had it under his parents' name. We then found reports made by ASPCA about them. The kennel's owners were on a puppy mill list that was published online. I feel terrible that I gave these folks a dime. I think a website should be developed to expose all these midwest puppy mills and database of all these places selling on puppyfind.com.

I had a great experience with this site. Have been searching for a Siberian husky for a long time with boyfriend and finally found a great family who dog sled for fun. They live in Minnesota as do I. People that are being scammed... I am not surprised. Why ON EARTH would you put a puppy on a plane or buy from someone willing to ship a puppy "worldwide"? Are you kidding me? The people I purchased our puppy from listed that they were not willing to ship the puppy which was a great sign to me. Did what research I could and they not only welcomed me to their home to pick out a puppy but they would not accept any payment from me until I knew which puppy I wanted...another good sign.
The puppies were well mannered and looked so happy as were the parents. The woman of the couple said she only keeps well-tempered dogs in her kennel and the last time the dog had had puppies was two years ago, another good sign! I put a deposit down right when I saw our guy...he picked us! He jumped up on both of us and we knew he was the one. I don't understand why on earth a person would purchase a puppy they have never met from people they have never met. Scamming is common nowadays but certain people that get scammed there is a reason why that is happening to you. Do your homework and you will eventually find the one you've been searching for.

After initiating contact with Louise from Corona, Ca. on PuppyFind.com, I received a text from a woman named Sophia. She had said she was a first time breeder and that her mother in law, Louise, placed the ad for her as she was more familiar with the process. Ok, reasonable I thought.
Speaking with Sophia, we agreed to meet at a neutral site to size each other up before proceeding to her home. If our initial meeting went well and we both felt comfortable she would bring me to see the mother and her puppies. After waiting for an hour for Sophia to show up I followed her to what I thought would be her home. She took me to a house that was completely empty (scary... elaborate reasoning on Sophia's part as to why - knew I should have ran out of there right then but didn't. Foolish on my part). She had only brought a few pups, none of which were the puppies that were featured in the ad or of the photos she had sent me, no mother either. She then raised the price of the puppy (cash only) because I has expressed interest in one of them. Gave me the puppies papers, activated the microchip for an extra $100, some chopped up pills for the puppy, his shot record and sent me on my way. No health guarantee or receipt.
I realize I was overly anxious to get a puppy and really am way too trusting of most people being good at heart but clearly I was horribly mistaken. Turns out the puppy had bordatella (kennel cough) she texted me later. When I asked her for a receipt she hemmed and hawed then sent me the most lame receipt possible. No name or address. All of this freaked me out so I started to do some detective work. Turns out these puppies are registered to J.A.K.S. Breeders, Inc. located in Iowa... A known puppy mill. Of course I am sure PuppyFind.com receives a great deal of their income from these types of breeders and are interested mostly in preserving their relationships and income from them and are not so concerned with customers satisfaction. They would not post my review.

I'm currently in the process of buying a puppy via PuppyFind. I've read the PuppyFind buyers tips and took them very seriously! I've sent NO money and the seller has complied with all my requests. When the seller couldn't give me references on past buyers and offered health records, I said that I preferred to speak with the vet instead. I have since spoken to the vet and checked him out via the internet. I asked him to do a complete physical exam on the pup to call and send me a full report at my expense. The monetary amount is minimal for this. If all is good then the money will be sent via PayPal. So my story is to be continued.
My opinion is if you take the time to do your homework as if you were buying a car you are less likely to get scammed. I've been in contact with the breeder for over a week exchanging multiple calls and texts. My advice is be smart. Don't be foolish. Read the tips on PuppyFind. Do your own research and then make your decision. I did all the tips and went way beyond. I will keep you updated, but so far so good.

I emailed and talked to my breeder about the puppies' environment and health prior and we even Face-timed before I wasted my time driving 3 hours. My breeder meet all my expectations and needs when it came to my puppy who I now have had for 3 months. Seeing all the reviews on this almost turned me away and wouldn't have my best buddy. NAME the ripoff breeders when posting on this site. Puppyfind gets paid by the sellers, not the the buyers so when bad reviews are posted by the Buyers they are quickly reported to Puppyfind and removed. They ask you to substantiate your claim and even then refuse to re-post negative reviews. Even when told the Breeder has judgments against them and are listed on RIP Off report, Puppyfind continues to knowingly post for these scammers!! So name the Breeders in your complaints so other people will know who they are.

It is inconvenient but sooooo many people have been ripped off not only buying puppies but for everything sold on the internet. You can no longer trust anyone! Find a puppy to buy that you are willing to go see in person. It is the only way to make sure you are getting what you want... and actually, that you are getting anything at all. It is not Puppyfind's fault that you take the easy route and just send for a puppy. The puppy will be a long life companion (hopefully) so take the time and energy to go to wherever the puppy is! I found the puppy of my dreams on Puppyfind!! I had been looking for quite a while. I had very specific things I was looking for. The most important was if the breeder did any testing of her breeding stock. When asked if they did testing (hips for dysplasia) of their breeding stock, the answer was usually "we have never had a problem, so we don't test". I was born AT night, not LAST night!! Finally, I found her. The price was higher than all the other listings, so I clicked on it. In the ad, the breeder noted she tested both parents for hips and elbows. One was "excellent", the other was "good". I called her and we talked for a very long time.
It was obvious from the answers to my questions that she was a professional who really knew the breed. I had the puppy shipped sight unseen. She arrived exactly as I expected. Absolutely exquisite! She is maturing into a perfect fit for my family! EVERY time I hear someone is looking for a superior quality dog, I always refer them to PuppyFind! This is one VERY satisfied customer!!!

We contacted the breeder right away, who goes by the name of ** and agreed on a deposit. We sent her the initial deposit and agreed to send her the rest when we got a flight confirmation from her. A few days later and we got the confirmation so we sent the rest of the money.
Day of the flight came and guess what? NO PUPPY! We called and asked what happened and she apologized and said she tried to contact us and said the flight was delayed until that following Friday. Ok... We were already in love with the little guy, bought him toys and a name tag, etc so we agreed to wait. Friday comes and still no puppy, just another excuse. An hour later her sister ** called apologizing and saying that she would refund $300 and get us flight info asap. We waited two more days and heard nothing. She answered and sounded shocked that I had reached her. She told me we never sent the money. That's a lie. Why would she agree to a refund that she never received? We told her we sent the $ and she needed to figure it out and call us back ASAP. She never did and we haven't heard from her since. We sent the $ via MoneyGram which requires an ID to be picked up. Bought a puppy from this breeder. Took it to the vet - it has a hernia, coccidia and delayed dental development. Breeder said puppy is not sick. Contacted Puppyfind.com. They did the same thing to me. Took it down. After I filed a report and the breeder got all the info, she went on the site and changed the info under the puppy pictures. She sent me pictures telling me they were her females, while on Puppyfind and other websites, she has them listed as males. Even found a picture she sent me as one of her puppies from here in Georgia, listed on Puppyfind as located in Portsmouth, OH. This breeder said the puppies have Health Certificates but after four requests, I still don't have one. So she misrepresented the puppies as hers and of both sexes. One puppy can't be both male and female.
Updated on 05/28/2015:
Update to my first review. The puppy I bought from this breeder had coccidia, an umbilical hernia and wasn't growing properly. Our vet asked me if I was sure of her birthdate. After the first vet visit we took her home with meds for the coccidia. A week later we see little white things that look like rice in her stool. Now we find out she had tapeworms.
I emailed the breeder about all this. She told me the puppy got coccidia from all the rain we've had. Coccidia isn't from rain. I reported this to the Dept. of Agriculture when I found out there was another complaint about this breeder in another county. Also found out she has 70 dogs! She even lied to my vet to get information. She told him I called her multiple times complaining about all the things the dog has and asked him for a statement. They wrote one up but never sent it.
The only reason I know this is because I had a copy of the vet notes and saw it noted in the notes. This breeder has used the same pictures and said they were female and male. She also said she had one male puppy born on 1/4/15, then it was two females, then one male and one female. She has told so many lies. I think she was looking for some proof that this puppy wasn't sick. Well, the vet statement said it all and proved everything I was saying was correct. She even has a listing on puppyfind.com that says she's from Ohio and she's in Georgia. When I mentioned puppyfind.com to this breeder she told me it was a scam. Interesting since she has ads on there.

I have left a review of my horrible experience in purchasing a puppy from Elizabeth's Exquisite Angels, and now after leaving a review about the breeder on puppyfind, they have removed it without any reason as to why. I purchased a puppy on March 7 and within a day or so, the puppy got extremely sick. I called the emergency vet and then had to take her to the vet on March 10 at 9am. The puppy was given a parvo test and came up positive for parvo. After being quarantined and treated, she survived. The bills were $615.57.
Two weeks later for her follow up, she also had ear mites. So this was another $119 in vet bills. I explained my situation and had proof from my vet about all of this... and left the review on puppyfind, only to have it removed a day later. They DO NOTHING to help the seller. I am extremely upset by the whole situation that I endured as well as everything my puppy went through just to survive. I will not stop writing about this until something is done to prevent this breeder from continuing to sell puppies to buyers with PARVO AND EAR MITES. People, please do your research and shop locally. I will never purchased a dog online ever again.

I used Puppyfind to find a new puppy after my 12 year old dog has passed away. It has been a terrible experience. If you want a healthy puppy, do not use this site. My vet bill is growing everyday. Puppy had parvo when I bought him. Had to watch my dog die and now watching a puppy die. It is not right that these breeders can get away with selling sick dogs. Is a Great Pyrenees and still do not know if he will live or not.

I have tried to buy dogs from two different people and have been scammed by both people. I paid for the dogs and never received my dogs. They just kept wanting more money.

I purchased a puppy from an individual who advertised that the puppy had a health guarantee, vet checked, shots, wormed etc. In the end the seller backed out of the health guarantee and never provided any of the paperwork backing up the advertisement. I wrote a review on this persons Puppyfind account and Puppyfind deleted it almost immediately. I received an email from Puppyfind and in the end it comes down to the all mighty dollar. Puppyfind permits false advertising and does not take any action when it is identified and brought to their attention. I have vet papers showing the illnesses and have still not received any paperwork from the seller even though he has called stating it is on the way. I have not received the shot records, Health Certificate, and AKC paperwork as stated in the advertisement. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WRITING A REVIEW AS THEY WILL DELETE IT.
Hello, I can certainly understand your frustration regarding the situation. We do give the seller the option to dispute reviews, and unfortunately reviews about non-receipt of papers are not posted due to not having proof of whether they were sent or received. I do hope the seller is able to provide them to you and that you end up with a positive resolution. If you have any further questions, please contact us at support@puppyfind.com. Breeder who advertises on puppyfind.com was not forthright with specific information regarding a puppy I wanted to purchase. The breeder ** refused to give me a proper contract, refused to relate health info on the dog (incl. DOB). Never-the-less I wanted the puppy. I paid a very high deposit otherwise the breeder said she would not hold the puppy. I said “I would pick her up the last week of Feb.” The breeder said she was out of town that week. I told her “I could not come the following week because I was working.” The date was set for March 7 but Congress was possibly halting the appropriation for funding the Dept. of Homeland Security and that would have halted my paycheck. I told the breeder “I would come the following week when I knew my pay status.” The breeder told me that if I did not pay for the puppy in full I could not pick her up. I had to pay on March 11 if I wanted to pick her up on March 14. I refused.
The breeder never told me whether the dog was in good health, had seen a vet, had any vaccines given to her. Then she wanted to charge me $500.00 because she put the dog in a kennel. I never heard of anything like this. The breeder refused to give me my deposit back. So I am out $1500.00. I told the Puppyfind.com and they said I could not even write a complaint on their website because I did not purchase a dog. The breeder said nothing about any of the rules and regulations - there was no contract and I believe ----- there was no dog!!!!! No one at this site cared at all and when I asked for them to please record her name so others could check - they refused. So this will happen again. If I had paid this woman in full I would have lost $4500.00 total instead of only $1500.00. Unfortunately, even $1500.00 is a big deal to me as well!

I bought a puppy advertised on Puppyfind.com. I was not happy with the breeder, and neither was my vet after assessing that my puppy came from a mill, which are not allowed to advertise on Puppyfind. The breeder is a despicable character who has created lots of heartache and financial hardship to me, but I was without recourse except for my ability to leave a review on Puppyfind.com.
I wanted to warn others not to buy from this woman, and Puppyfind.com allows people (and encourages) reviews. However, it's a scam! If you leave a bad review, or any review the breeder doesn't like, the breeder can dispute it. Once the breeder disputes, even for a total lack of reason, your review is pulled and if you want it to go back up, you must prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, as if you're a criminal, that your review is based solely on provable facts. Which means a veterinary report, and even then, they have the discretion to tell you to screw off regarding your review. They said, and I quote, "Disputed reviews cannot contain opinions."
Well, what the heck are reviews for then, if not your opinion whether you would never buy from the breeder again? And the good reviews are chalked full of opinions, so what gives? What gives is that the breeder isn't going to "dispute" a good review, so it'll stay. But if they don't like your review, Puppyfind.com give the jerk breeders carte blanche to squelch your freedom of speech about how much you didn't like them.
Over and over again (about 15 emails) I asked how this was fair. I got nothing back from them. They simply don't care. So since they want to protect puppy mill breeders so much, that's what they are themselves. Stay away. Who would want to use a service that won't let you have freedom of speech and thought and a chance at an honest review?
Hello, I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with this seller. We do give the seller the option to dispute reviews if they feel they are invalid, but if the buyer provides supporting documentation for the statements in the review then it may be reinstated. I’m sorry that your review did not qualify for posting and hope that you were able to come to a satisfactory resolution with the seller. Bad experience!! I had been looking for a dog for a long time and Puppyfind seemed to have had the best/most updated puppies and breeders. When I finally found a Morkie in San Diego, I inquired the "breeder." Her name is Eva ** or at least that's what the packing slip said that came with my puppy. I live in New England so the dog had to be shipped. Given the bitter temperatures, it took some time to find a day warm enough to get her here. The day we had chose came, and the breeder did not ship her. At this point, I had bought her 2 weeks prior and was furious that she didn't even give me a heads up that she wasn't coming. She didn't respond to text or phone calls. She was extremely hard to get in touch with and kept blowing me off.
When I finally got my dog, she came with no health records. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting on any sort of health certificate or shot record. The breeder claimed she taped an envelope with her health records to the crate that she was shipped in. Well, she came with a small bag of food taped to the crate so I imagine if that made it through the flight, so would an envelope. Now, weeks later, she is still ignoring me so it looks like I have no choice but to have my dog re-vaccinated. Terrible experience with this breeder and I'm not even sure she's a real breeder. Although it's not the website's fault, I wish I had done my homework prior to buying her. Be warned that it's so easy to get scammed!

I contacted a breeder found on Puppyfind to inquire about a French Bulldog puppy. This is the breeder's website: ** The breeder Fleur De Vanille (**) located in Serbia, is a well-known scam artist. I sent **a $1,000 USD deposit for a puppy. I was told she was breed from champion parents, I would receive export pedigree, and shipping information soon. A month came and gone with my questions being ignored and no flight details ever sent. After doing some digging on the Internet, I found these two Facebook pages dedicated to exposing **and his scams. **
So, I decided to write a review on the breeder's Puppyfind page to make others aware of my experience. Within a few hours, my review was removed and I contacted Puppyfind to find out why. Their response was the breeder said my review was inaccurate and filed a dispute. They requested information proving my review was accurate. I sent them my bank receipt for deposit and all email transcripts. They said because I only sent a deposit, I never completed the sale and the seller was never paid in full. At this point, I can't believe their reply. So, I am supposed to send another $1,200 USD to someone who basically disappeared, that doesn't answer my questions or provide me with any flight details? So, after numerous back and forth emails with Puppyfind, they will not let my review of the seller stand. I clearly explained my situation and provided them with all the paperwork requested and they sided with the SCAM ARTIST!
